Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chat Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
I'll always be honest with you guys. This whole Cami
thing is a mess. It's an overreach. I'm not going
to blow smoke. It's revenge. The same thing that Trump
has accused other people of actually doing lawfair, he's doing
now to get revenge. And for some people out there,

(00:35):
they don't want to hear that, they don't And for
the people out there on the left or growing, yeah,
yeah see you get it. Yeah, you know what. This
nightmare this is also on you from Russia, Russia, Russia,
to impeachments, to all of the indictments for mortgage this
and for enough enough. It is such crap. Now the

(01:00):
people on the left are going to say, well, he's
broke down that rail, that guardrail that was there to protect,
you know, to separate you know, the Department of Justice
and the presidency and stuff that's been broken down already.
So let's not pretend. But you ran on bringing down prices.
You ran on that affordability thing, that's a big deal,

(01:21):
starting no more wars. You ran on that fixing the
stuff that was out there. You could do it today.
You ran on a lot of things, the immigration thing,
you've knocked it out of the park. We can debate
the you know, the deportations and certain things, but when
it comes to the border, you stopped it cold brilliant.
That was arguably, outside of inflation, the second most important

(01:44):
thing on everybody's BINGO card when it came to this
last election. But this, sorry, I look and I tell
you guys, I'm going to give you guys the truth period.
I care about us, the Americans. I care about what's
best for America. That should be number one. People are like,

(02:13):
which side are you gonna choose? You know the side.
I'm gonna choose truth. That's it. I don't care about
the rest. I don't. But it's hard to say that
this isn't one of those things where no, they were no,
just like with Trump, where there was selective stuff, the

(02:35):
way they went after him, the stuff that they knew.
We can sit here, both sides can point fingers. I
don't know about you, but I want better for our
country than tit for Tat.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Moments after Comy's indictment, Trump posting online Justice in America,
calling the former FBI director one of the worst human
beings this country has ever been exposed to.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
That right there is sin one of the worst human
beings America has ever been exposed to. And let me
tell you something. The Democrats don't like Kobe. I don't
think anybody like he's a shmug person who is and
I'm being nice because we're on the radio and the
FCC can fine us. He is an a hole. I mean,

(03:24):
I don't think there's there's there's not a lot of
ways to go about it. He is also narcissist, absolutely thought.
I mean, you are the you know, you're the head
of the FBI, so yeah, you're gonna have a bit
of an ego. That being said, he thought he was
above it. He thought he was something else. He thought

(03:45):
he was a star, and he was more enamored with
the camera than doing the job. So he came out
last night with a statement after finding out he was

(04:05):
going to be indicted, which everybody knew he was going
to be indicted.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
My family and I have known for years that there
are costs to standing up to Donald Trump, but we
couldn't imagine ourselves living any other way. We will not
live on our knees and you shouldn't either. Somebody that
I love dearly recently said that fear is the tool
of a tyrant, and she's right. But I'm not afraid,

(04:35):
and I hope you're not either. I hope instead you
are engaged, You are paying attention, and you will vote
like your beloved country depends upon it, which it does.
My heart is broken for the Department of Justice, but
I have great confidence in the federal judicial system and

(04:56):
I'm innocent, So let's have a trial and keep the faith.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
So he is smug. You know, again, this isn't about Comy.
This is this is about Trump wanting to get back
at his enemies. It's perceived enemies. It's not about Comy.

(05:26):
Doesn't matter. By the way, Comy's not going to be last.
He's the first of what will be several.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
He is.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
And remember they're supposed to be a guardrail. There's supposed
to be a guardrail there. There's that separation. The Department
of Justice is not your personal dog to sick on everybody.
He didn't care.

Speaker 6 (05:45):
Well, I can't tell you what's going to happen because
I don't know. You have very professional people headed up
by the Attorney General and Todd Todd Blench and Lindsay Halligan,
who's very smart, good lawyer, very good lawyer.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
They're going to make a determination.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
I'm not making that.

Speaker 6 (06:02):
I think i'd be allowed to get involved in it once,
but I don't really choose to do so. I can
only say that Koby's a bad person. He's a sick person.
I think he's a sick guy. Actually he did terrible
things at the FBI. But I don't know. I have
no idea what's going to happen.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Even Fox last night tried to figure out how to
frame it in such a way, like Jonathan Turley's like, well,
could be this or could be that. Howard Kurtz is like, now.

Speaker 7 (06:35):
I say this is a former Justice Department reporter. This
was completely and totally orchestrated by President Trump. He says
he's leaving into justice, but you know he.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Very much out in the open.

Speaker 7 (06:46):
Remember he fired his own appointed he as US attorney
in that part of Virginia because he didn't think there
was enough evidence to bring this case brought in White
House ate his former defense lawyer, whose job was to
get this done. Apparently that has worked. I think we've
become aure to this. But in previous administrations, any hint
of contact within a criminal case would be a scandal

(07:12):
on its own. And so President Trump, by the way
he pulled the strings, has gotten his way with this
initial indictment.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
And it's frustrating.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
It is.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
I want my presidence to do well, and this is
about him. It's not about you and I. And they'll
pitch it that way. Well, I'm doing this for you. No,
you're doing this for you. You're doing this for you.
So we'll see what comes of this. Because of the

(07:48):
way that this thing was orchestrated, there was a very
good chance they may just toss this out for vindictive prosecution.
And that poor lady that was his personal attorney, a
real estate attorney, thou has been thrust upon Pam Bond
by the way Pam BONDI was, she didn't want this

(08:11):
because she recognizes that there's a chance this thing is
going to blow up in their face. Trump doesn't care.
He wants to make their life miserable. It's not about
prosecuting and getting him in jail. He knows they're not
going to jail. He wants to make their life miserable.

(08:32):
That's it. Period. Case closed three, two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson shows your ex
your insta, YouTube, Facebook, and more. We moved from there
to yesterday finding out more about the shooter at the
ICE facility. And you know, what's the story? Is there

(08:56):
more to the story? What exactly motivated him all of
those things? Because people have questions, was he links with
another group? Was it just him, you know? Or is
there a manifesto?

Speaker 8 (09:09):
He hoped his actions would terrorize ICE employees and interfere
with their work, which he called human trafficking. And this
what he did is the very definition of terrorism.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Nancy Larson, acting US State Attorney for the Northern District
of Texas. So they've got writings. It's not so much
a manifesto as it seems to be a hodgepodge of
all kinds of things. But there are letters about why
he was doing this, which is again fascinating.

Speaker 8 (09:47):
He called the ICE employees people showing up to collect
a dirty paycheck. He wrote that he intended to maximize
lethality against ICE personnel and to maximize property damage at
the facility. He hoped to minimize any collateral damage or

(10:08):
injury to the detainees and any other innocent people.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Well that didn't work, did it? Not? At all, and
then there's the thing that we ask ourselves every time,
should do it alone?

Speaker 8 (10:21):
One of these notes or papers, the sniper explicitly states, yes, it.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Was just me very convenient, right, And the anti ice
thing is also just weird. So if you saw the
bullets laying there, one of them just said anti ice
like it was an afterthought. I should probably write some
on the bullet. I mean it was. It seems very convenient.

(10:55):
I'm not saying there's there there. I'm not saying it's
super conspiracy. It just seems very convenient. And I think
part of that is the fact that we're less trusting
now that we have been maybe forever when it comes
to our government. And I think the way that they
handle the Charlie Kirk thing the FBI, I think gives

(11:17):
people pause on whether or not they're on top of things.
A little more about this next hour, as well as
what's going on with Komi. We got so much stuff
and finally Friday Sounds, Wheel of Surprise, NFL picks, just
to name a few things coming up this hour. Oh

Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
As we do each and every Friday, we take a
listen back to the chaos, the craziness, the touching and
sometimes funny things that happened during this week. And as usual,
what a week it was. What do you think?

Speaker 5 (13:28):
You know?

Speaker 1 (13:28):
What are we seeing?

Speaker 9 (13:28):
You know, Donald Trump being underwater, Democrats and all this
guarantees us we're gonna fly high in the midterm. Let
me tell you this guarantees you nothing.

Speaker 10 (13:37):
This game of the battle to the bottom of which
side is worse. You guys are literally debating who's more violent,
the right or the left.

Speaker 11 (13:44):
I'm not one.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
Hundred dollars walking in my hole, I know, I'll say.
Anybody's burning a hold, go through my buggeting and do
my skim.

Speaker 12 (13:56):
Come on the morning, I'll be.

Speaker 13 (14:00):
Five free here. I'm done, my motor wa It's fine.

Speaker 11 (14:10):
Working ducks time rapture up date twenty twenty five. If
you're left behind, please check in.

Speaker 14 (14:18):
Did do people go straight up?

Speaker 1 (14:20):
Was it a slow float?

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Quick float?

Speaker 12 (14:23):
Hey everybody, this is my last video. This is my
last warning to the world. The darkness will come tonight.

Speaker 13 (14:30):
It's fine, five free, I'm done, my motorman. Wow, it's fine.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Working ducks time.

Speaker 8 (14:47):
He called the Ice employees people showing up to collect
a dirty paycheck.

Speaker 15 (14:52):
We have been able to confirm that Yon legally obtained
an eight millimeter bolt action rifle he used in the
shooting in August of this year.

Speaker 7 (15:00):
All I saw agents and offices that location are all
right accounted for right now.

Speaker 16 (15:04):
It's agent stuff. Violence is wrong. Politically motivated violence is wrong.

Speaker 17 (15:10):
But if your political rhetoric encourages violence against our law enforcement,
you can go straight to hell from for.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
They tried to silence Hower.

Speaker 18 (15:32):
Dear friend Charlie Kirk and tonight we speak with Charlie
and four Charlie louder.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Than ever three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four
twenty three at Chadminton Show, it's your ex your instance,
YouTube and Facebook right here on the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 19 (15:51):
He did not hate his opponents. He wanted the best
for them. That's where I disagreed with Charlie. I hate
my opponent.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
That man, that young man. I forgive him powerful. Indeed
it was powerful. Her speech was. And it's funny when
you listen to Trump there obviously with Komy and the
question is who's next, who's he going after next? And

(16:21):
this whole like thing that he's doing where he's pretending
like I'm not really involved that you're absolutely involved in this.
This is the definition of lawfair. This is the definition
of lawfair. We just talked about it. So don't say, well,
you know, not really involved in this, then we're not stupid.
It's incredible. I can't believe he was indicted. I'm shocked.

(16:42):
He tweets out like he's the worst person in history.
It's just so everything with him is so over the top.
It is, you know, and some of it's hilarious. Some
of it is a slap in our face because you
know what he points out some absurd stuff, especially in
the world of politics, and some of it he's the absurdity.
I can't believe you said that chat. Yeah, I know,

(17:04):
trust me, I get it. But the interesting thing is,
and I've noticed it's more and more when I say
something like this, it's it's not about policy. The absurdity
anymore is just so about his personality, which again makes
me laugh. And the pushback that I used to get
when I would say something critical is quieting down compared

(17:28):
to what I used to get. And some people are like,
you know what, I didn't vote for this. You're missing
the show, shaeh. You grabbed the podcast Coming up The
Weird Little Surprise Chad Benson, Joe.

Speaker 14 (17:39):
Son, Chad Benson, Joe.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
The Chat Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Every single Friday, we play a little thing called the
Wheel of Surprise. These are a bunch of stories that
I didn't have a chance to get to because there's
so much going on all the time. So we spend
the wheel. Everything is numbered. I've listened and or read

(18:25):
all of these stories, probably several times, just to have
a chance to bring it up wherever it lands. We
play the audio clip, find out what it is. You'll
be as surprised as I am. Are you ready for
the Wheel of Surprise Number two?

Speaker 20 (18:54):
What did you think of that? Did you like the singing?

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Well?

Speaker 20 (18:58):
What if I told you that was an entire highly
AI generated voice and that artist on the screen just
signed a multi million dollar record deal that real artists
aren't too happy about. Grammy nominated singer kay Lannie is
making her feelings clear about it.

Speaker 21 (19:13):
Nothing and no one on earth will ever be able
to justify AI to me, especially not in AI in
the creative arts in which people have worked hard for.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
It is crazy. So this is a multi million dollar deal.
AI is incredible. It is scary, yes, but it is.
It's not just coming on in dribs and drafts every

(19:48):
single day. And we work with this every day, my
uncle especially, I mean, he's this is, this is, this
is what my other company does. But he's in the
creative side of it where it is insane how fast
it's coming. And now you've got artists and we've talked

(20:08):
about this that this was coming. There's a podcast company
out there that thinks they can do a five thousand
podcasts week. I will say, out of all of the
things that I've seen when it comes to AI, as
far as the entertainment side of it, the singing is
absolutely top notch comparatively to some of the other stuff.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
So how did we get here?

Speaker 20 (20:32):
Like other AI artists we've reported on there's always someone
behind the scenes. For Zania Monett. That's someone is Mississippi
poet Talisha Jones, who writes the lyrics. Her voice is
built using Suno, the same AI music platform backed by Timbaland,

(20:53):
who posted that Zania is cult killing.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
It, killing it well, yes, killing the business maybe, but
then again giving people a voice. So it's it's not
going to take away from the artist. And my uncle
and I had a chat about this last night, because
there is a massive artist I will say, probably top
five artists that we're currently negotiating something with who looks

(21:20):
at the value of AI in a way where they
know they can do extra stuff without having to be there,
which they find fascinating while everybody else is pushing back
against it. And so there's also a value of people
who you know, look, you always wanted to be a singer.
Maybe your voice isn't great, but your songwriting abilities are.

(21:43):
You can personalize something and instead of taking away from
you know, the tailor swift of the world or whatever,
you can build up an audience all your own with
your thoughts and the artists that you create.

Speaker 20 (21:55):
Billboard reports the bidding war ended with a three million
dollar deal at Hollwood Media, suggesting the payout will go
to Jones and her team, while Jones can sing on
her own. A marketing executive told Billboard not as well
as Zania. That executive also said most of the lyrics
are based on Jones's true stories, and fans in the

(22:15):
comment section relate to what the AI artist is singing,
and it's not just Kailani artist Sizza says Ai devalues
music and posted about the environmental and physical costs data
centers bring to communities. This AI artist already has just
under seven hundred thousand monthly listeners on Spotify and seven

(22:39):
million views on YouTube, but it's still unclear what the
label actually bought since the songs themselves are AI generated
and monetizing them gets complicated. Meanwhile, Suno is still facing
several lawsuits related to copyright infringement.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
It's gonna be interesting to see the way that the
lawsuits pan out, because that's going to be as important
as the artist or the songs or whatever else that's
out there that you try to do, because if you
listen to a lot of stuff, they're mimicking a lot
of things, and bands are saying, you're really getting very

(23:16):
close to us so and then sonos maybe they want
their piece right. They helped create this thing, so that
is the battle. That's next is the copyright and where
they go from there. It's a Wheeler surprise number eight.

Speaker 22 (23:42):
Now a scare at a high school football game as
a player is body slammed twice. Once was a tackle,
but then the much bigger player stands up and is
using his full body weight, jumps back on the curl
the player. Now the mom the player who was crushed
is speaking out.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
This is hard to watch.

Speaker 23 (24:02):
A football player tackles a much smaller player and then
does something terrible. He belly flops right on top of him.
His mom was in the stance first.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
Was like, is that my son?

Speaker 24 (24:14):
And as soon as it clicks that it was, I
couldn't be stopped.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
I had to go down there.

Speaker 25 (24:19):
I've never felt anything like it.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
I've never been as upset or shaken up as I was.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
It is crazy and probably you guys have seen the video.
It was it's been all over this week. It's JV.
So the kids are like thirteen fourteen, and you know
at that age you've got some kids that are that
are avergized, some kids that are a little bit smaller
than some kids who are big and big. This kid

(24:46):
was maybe seventy pounds, soaking wet. This other kid looks
like it almost looks like AI and the kids laying
on the ground, and the other guy just totally jumps
in the air, lays out like Superman and just comes
down straight on top of this kid with all of

(25:06):
his weight, and I will say, without trying to body
shame him, probably well over two bills.

Speaker 23 (25:13):
Fifteen year old Colton Nim suffered two broken vertebrate and
had to be rushed to the hospital.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
He's out at least for this season.

Speaker 26 (25:21):
We don't know if he's going to be able to
play again.

Speaker 27 (25:23):
This is quite a dangerous play, mostly because the play
was over and the player who was landed upon was
not expecting this blow by a player who was significantly
larger than he was.

Speaker 23 (25:34):
It was one hundred percent intentional. This guy needs to
be charged. That kid needs to be put in handcuffs.
The school in Kalamazoo, Michigan, said the student athlete made
a poor choice and that the behavior was addressed.

Speaker 22 (25:48):
The school also says the student has received consequences consistent
with the public school system.

Speaker 2 (25:54):
I'm going to say, which is nothing. Because it's a
public school system, and you know it's a joke. I
will say this. They're fifteen, they're fourteen. You don't think.
I don't think this kid meant to crush this kid
and kill him. He belly flopped on him because he
probably thought it was funny and he probably had no

(26:15):
idea not thinking at fifteen. Hell, we don't think in
our thirties and forties, we know that, guys. So And
it's also like as a child, you don't realize the
difference in size. You all have the equipment on. There's
this false sense that nobody can get hurt. And so

(26:36):
I don't think it was out of malicious hate. But
you the doctor said, this kid's lucky he's walking. It
was you got to teach the kid's responsibility, no doubt
about that. But you can't take away from the fact
that their kids, and they're going to do stupid things.
It's the wheel of Surprise number ten.

Speaker 25 (27:05):
This weekend, some of America's most popular comedians are set
to perform in Saudi Arabia, drawing criticism from human rights organizations.
The Saudi government has long faced accusations of silencing journalists,
oppressing women, and supporting terrorism. The majority of the hijackers
in the September eleventh attacks were Saudi nationals. The two

(27:26):
week festival in riodd will include comedians such as Dave Chappelle,
Kevin Hart, and Pete Davidson.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
Which is significant. We'll get to that in a second.
So the Rial Comedy Festival has a well, anything that's
done in Saudi Arabia, it's really bizarre. Anything that's done
in Saudi Arabia is a situation where because of nine
to eleven and the human rights violations, anything you do,

(28:00):
their sports washing stuff like that same thing with Katar,
places like this where you know, now it's comedy washing
whatever it is. They're they just have wrestling, you have
s all these kind of things in and around these
places that people get pissed about. I say that, and
then I say to myself self, have you met us?

(28:23):
Just out of curiosity? Have you met us America? I mean,
we've kind of stomped all over everywhere Sea I Rock
and the amount of people that died there in many
other places, and yet we host everything all the time.
They're trying to, yes, sports wash them stuff. But I

(28:48):
think It's really disingenuous for us to say to them,
how dare you we're better at and that your terrorists,
your evil, your bad. You're sports watching this when we
have more than stopped our way around all kinds of places.
We back Israel to the hilt in what they're doing,

(29:14):
and we also take their oil and we're fine with it.
Oh yeah, there's that as well. Now. The interesting thing
about this is Pete Davidson because he is going. Which
is interesting.

Speaker 25 (29:33):
Because Davidson, whose father was a New York firefighter killed
on nine to eleven, defended his decision to participate.

Speaker 28 (29:40):
You know, I've been getting a little bit of a
flack just because, like my dad died nine to eleven,
So they're like, how could you possibly go there? I just,
you know, I get the routing and then I see
the number and I go, I'll go.

Speaker 25 (29:52):
Comedian Shane Gillis says he turned down the gig despite
an offer to double his paycheck.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
I took a principled stain.

Speaker 25 (29:59):
But other is our cashing in, one comedian claiming top
acts are earning up to one point six million dollars.

Speaker 2 (30:06):
I'll go for one point six million. You have no
I have no shame. That's what I'm saying. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benton Show.
Is your ex your Insta, your YouTube, your Facebook and more.
That's the wheel of surprise. And like I said, I
find that fascinating. The whole thing and our selective outrage

(30:29):
on certain things. You know, when it came to you know,
the live golf tournament and and you know all of
this stuff. We all have selected outrage in many, many things,
and we got to take a step back and say, okay,
is this you know? I mean, we can sit here

(30:51):
all day and you can't justify what they did to Kashogi.
You can't justify what happened on nine to eleven. How
much did the royal family know or didn't know? You
can't justify some of those things. But it's hard for
us to say, oh, yeah, well that's bad. Oh by
the way, we're gonna bomb Iran. We're gonna do this,

(31:14):
We're gonna again. The selective outrage is kind of hippocritical,
if that makes sense. Coming up our NFL picks, I'm
doing quite well.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
Nothing bigger in America than the NFL and my picks.
They've been on fire. It's gonna be good. Weekend started
last night. The weekend kicked off. Good game. Look to

(33:43):
be kind of a clunker, but then lo and behold
cardinalsman come back winning kick for the Hawks last night.
Now let's get down and dirty. Currently I'm sitting thirty
four and fourteen. Let's see how do from here? Vikings, Steelers.

(34:04):
I'm gonna go with Steelers at home, Commanders, Falcons go
with Commanders, Chargers, Giants go with the Chadgers, Titans, Texans.
I think that the Texans get healthy this weekend. Eagles,
Buccaneers go with the Buccaneers. Oooh, Panthers, Patriots. I'm gonna

(34:30):
go with the Patriots. Are gonna win. Saints, Bills, go
with the Bills. Lions, Browns, Lions, Yagyu Wars, forty nine Ers.
I'm gonna there's a tough one. I'm gonna go with
the forty nine Ers, Colts, Rams. It's close, but the

(34:51):
Rams gonna win. Bears, Raiders go with the Raiders. Ravens Chiefs.
Ravens add to the Chiefs misery. Oh Packers, cowboy, this
is the game, guys. This is like with the game
Micah coming home. Go with the Packers to get a victory. Jets, Dolphins,

(35:14):
go with the Jets. If there's a game that should
be a tie, could be that one. And Bengals Broncos
go with the Broncos. There you guys go, I've laid
it out for you right there, okay, three, two, three, five, eight,
twenty four to twenty three At Chad Benson shows your acts,
your Insta, YouTube, Facebook, and all the other stuff. We

(35:35):
love hearing from every single one of you right here
on The Chad Benson Show. Coming up hour number two,
some TikTok stuff. Everybudy's at gab Ram Chievestment Officer bullwartso
and enjoyed the program as well. We're also going to
talk about soccer and what might happen and the battle
that may be coming as we get ready to host
the World Cup, because something is a bruin, if you will,

(35:58):
when it comes to in a certain country. Oh interesting, Chad. Plus,
we've got more on the Texas shooter of the ice
facility and the question of whether or not he worked alone.
It's so funny because it's not funny what happened, but
the conspiracy theories that spread and how fast they spread.
And there's one here with this one as well. Our

(36:20):
number two of the program. Straight ahead. It is the
Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
Are we going to war? Wait? What interesting? Guys aren't
paying attention on Tuesday of next week? Apparently everybody who's
anybody in the military. If you got a star, you're
high up. There doesn't matter if you are a general

(37:15):
an admiral. You need to get over and see is
it the Department of warnaw, the Department of War. Leader
Pete Hegseth just it's it's bizarre.

Speaker 29 (37:27):
In an unprecedented move, Secretary Pete Hegseth asking all US
general officers and admirals in command positions and senior enlisted
leaders around the world to gather at the US Marine
Base in Quantico, Virginia. That means hundreds of senior officers.

Speaker 2 (37:45):
And the question is why. I've asked to higher ups
in the military that I know, and both of them say,
not sure, you know, you're hearing things, but there's no
concrete thing that they're hearing. And I'm like, this is

(38:11):
just it's you know, it's it feels weird. I mean,
you're summoning all of your peeps that are the heads
of everything in our military, and that's a fair question.
Ask why eight hundred by the way, so they're saying
eight hundred are going to be there. That feels like

(38:34):
it's something more than just you know. I mean, at
first I thought maybe he everybody's like, oh, he can't
get to his discord, he doesn't have what app But
it does feel odd that he's bringing all of them there,
and I just think it's you know, it's a question.
And now we've got our military or navy patrolling the Caribbean.

(39:00):
We're going to stop the drugs. Chad, Okay, sure, so
there's that. I just and we talked to my clients here.
I'm sure he's gonnaive us a much more of a
lowdown on Tuesday. But I just I even hit him
up and he's like, I trying to figure it out
as well, because this just seems like I think the

(39:22):
fear is is is that it's it's going to be
something where I've been, you know, my money's on Venezuela.
But whatever, I think the fear of it is though,
what if it's not that? And he just wants to
have a chat talk about who's in charge, and talk
about the fact that Trump has a mandate and everybody
needs to remember that.

Speaker 29 (39:43):
The Pentagon saying in a statement, the Secretary of War
will be addressing his senior military leaders early next week.
But the Pentagon is not given a reason for the
massive meeting, even those told to attend telling ABC News
they are unaware of what prompted the meet and what
will be discussed.

Speaker 2 (40:02):
And I have, you know, like I said, the people
I've chatted with have given several different ideas. Nobody seems
to have the same idea, so there's not one thing
where they're hearing stuff like be prepared for this. So
it's just odd. I think we can all you know,

(40:24):
this is something that this doesn't get done where you're
bringing everybody in like this. We're trying to figure out yesterday,
when's the last time. It's kind of you know, we're
not talking about people that are land based, American based,
We're talking about global doesn't matter where you are, you
need to get here on Tuesday. I'm wondering if things

(40:50):
are about to get spicy. I don't know. I do
not know, but I also know this. There's going to
be some other military folk there from other countries as
well next week. Does it all play in together? Is
there more to this? Is this a bigger talk about Russia?

(41:15):
Is that part of this? Is this a bigger thing
about what's going on in the Middle East? Or is
this just Hey, we're all getting together. Want everybody know
that we all have one app now, so let's use
this and let's not send anything to anybody that is
a journalist. Okay, fantastic. Meanwhile, here in America. They got him, guys,

(41:39):
Trump what Trump call him? One of the most evil
men America has ever had to deal with, James Comy.

Speaker 3 (41:45):
The charges against Kobe were brought by Lindsay Halligan, President
Trump's personal lawyer.

Speaker 2 (41:50):
Who was handpicked by the President as a new.

Speaker 3 (41:52):
YUS attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia earlier this
week after her predecessor, who was also appointed by Trump,
was forced out after refusing to bring charges against the
President's political foes. So is this tel ABC News Career
prosecutors presented Halligan with a memo recommending that Comy not
be charged with a crime, saying there was not enough evidence,

(42:14):
but she decided to move forward anyway and was able
to convince a grand jury to indict.

Speaker 2 (42:20):
That is. Look, you guys, get honesty with me. Some
of you don't like it. My whole thing is I
want to put stuff out there based on the dad
and the facts that I have at this moment in time,
things could change, and in doing so, all of us
critically think about could this be revenge? I know, I know,

(42:44):
I know it's you know, for those of you out
there who are are their blind loyalty to Trump is there.
This has this has to do with Trump, and then
this has nothing to do with American people don't buy
into that the deep swamp. He is as deep in
the swamp as anybody else. It's hard to look at
this and think, n well, I guess you could go

(43:06):
after It's all about interpretation. Did he or didn't he?
What are the indictments? The big one that he wanted
was election interference, and they, the grand jury said no.
And I feel bad for this lady because she she's

(43:28):
a real estate attorney. She might be brilliant, I don't know.
She's easy on the eyes. That's always kind of a
Trump tailtale there. And so they put her in charge
because the guy that was in charge didn't want to prosecute.
So Trump comes out and makes a show of it
on Sunday to Pam BONDI about all of these people,

(43:49):
and blah blah blah blah. And they get this guy
out of there, a guy that he appointed, by the way,
and they have this lady come in and Pam has
no choice and she I don't think she wanted this either,
because I think she realizes that answer to us getting
any kind of prosecution, it's not about prosecution. It's not
they're looking at it because here's the thing. The Feds
look at it. As we talked about yesterday, ninety nine

(44:10):
plus percent of the cases that the Feds move forward
with an indictment, they went ninety nine plus. You're a
baseball player and you were hitting nine ninety nine, you'd
be pretty damn good. Okay, let's you're getting anything you want.

(44:30):
Out Of all the cases though that they decide to
go forward with, only about two percent ever make it
to court. This isn't about that. This is about making
their life miserable. And this lady, she's you know, they
handed her a turd sandwich, cause first of all, she's

(44:54):
gonna be flooded with resignations. And secondly, nobody told her, yeah,
let's do this. They all said, don't do it, don't
do it. She had to go there by herself to
file the charges.

Speaker 24 (45:07):
The top prosecutors in the office recommending against charges to
Lindsay Halligan in AMMO. They believed, frankly, that they couldn't
prove what the evidence they had that Comy knowingly lie,
that Comy knowingly perjured himself before Congress in twenty twenty.

Speaker 2 (45:26):
And so in the Congress lying thing, they always like it.
Everybody lies to Congress. They did, they pick and choose
who they want to go after they do, so what
do they think they're going to go after. They're going
to go after. Did he lie is one of them, obviously,
So you have to show intent. So if I believe

(45:49):
something to be true based on the information I have,
that's not a lie. So did you intend to do something?
Did you know something? And so that's a tough that's
that's a tough one. The other one is the leak,
and he's always maintained I gave the information to my

(46:09):
friend after I was canned by the president. That was after,
not while I was there, and didn't authorize anybody to
do that. After I was canned. So we'll see. There's

(46:30):
no doubt though that this is going to uh, you know,
there's going to be. There's more coming, Bolton your necks,
so be prepared. Everybody lawyer up. And again, it's not
about conviction. They're not going to spend any time in jail.
This is about making their life miserable, getting payback for
what Donald Trump sees as an injustice to him and

(46:53):
law fair against him and it's hard to argue that.
But the Democrats aren't in power because of all the
whole horrible things that they've done and the mistakes that
they've made, and the fact that they did go wa
could do when it came to Trump derangement syndrome, focusing
to go and get the people that you think you
need to John Wick style and knocking over that rail

(47:18):
and becoming part of a process where the Department of
Justice is not your private attack dog. Let me know
what you think. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is your ex your Insta,
your YouTube and Facebook? Wanted to get to the Israel stuff.

(47:38):
It's interesting what is happening, but we'll get to it
next hour. It is very interesting what's going on with
Israel and the world of sports as they try to
again put more and more pressure on Israel. So we'll
talk about that next hour because we had lot of
stuff talk about. You got TikTok stuff. Zach Abrahm chievestment

(48:00):
officer Bullgark's going to join us here in a little bit.
I'm and talk about what's going on in the economy.
We've got your urban word of the day as well,
so many good things on the way. My goodness to me,
we're jam pack still Raycon passed earbuds around. I love
my Raycons. I wear them every day. So I've got
the everyday earbuds and I've got the classic earbuds. My

(48:23):
wife she's got the every day airbuds, but she also
has the bone conducting over the year headset, which is
awesome because for her ears, she's very sensitive ears, and
so she loves these things. They're incredible. Right now, it's
twenty percent off, twenty percent off sight wide, which is great.
Maybe you know what kids are back in school, you're

(48:45):
getting yourself rocking and rolling. You know, you're out working
out a little bit more, getting ready for the holidays.
Maybe you're get to get yourself something some from Raycon.
Or maybe you're saying to yourself, I could start getting
out to do some holiday shopping, some Christmas shoping. Now
how you do it? Raycon, It's twenty percent off sit wide.
The every day earbuds in the classics, active noise, cancelation

(49:07):

quality that just is incredible at a price that won't
break the bank. About half the price of other premiumity brands.
So save yourself some time, save yourself some money, and
get the best around with Raycons twenty percent off sitewide
go to buy raycon dot com slash Chad. Now that's
buy raycon dot com slash Chad. Buy raycon dot Com

(49:28):
slash Chad at Chad Benson Show, It's your ex, your
insta YouTube and more coming up, Tick talk tick do
we own it up?

Speaker 5 (49:36):
Kind of? Sort of?

Speaker 2 (49:37):
I don't know, Chad Benson, Joe.

Speaker 1 (49:50):
Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (49:54):
Good news. If you're a TikTok fan, it's not going anywhere.
Mm hmm. So I guess it's now in the hands
of Americans. But I'm not quite sure how this plays out.
And again, the algorithm is the only thing that matters
when it comes to TikTok. The algorithm is it. Everything
else could be reproduced. It's about the algorithm, which, in

(50:19):
my understanding of the several people I've talked to, is
a closely guarded secret that they look as a military
secrets Chinese. Yet somehow we ended up with it. I
think maybe we have.

Speaker 6 (50:31):
American investors taken it over, running it highly sophisticated including Larry.

Speaker 2 (50:38):
Ellison, Okay, that's good. So because the fear was it
was going to go away. And when I talked to
Congress people when remember the first time it was going
to go away, that Sunday was like, people like it,
I can't do it anyho, And they were all trying
to find out where else to go, and people were

(50:59):
freaking out. When I talked to a few Congress people
and a senator, they said, for all of the stuff
that they had, and one of the senators had been
around for quite a long time, and the other Congress
people they're, you know, eight ten years they've been there.
They said they've never gotten so many phone calls, so
many emails, so many things that had flooded into them

(51:22):
because TikTok was going away. Hilarious.

Speaker 30 (51:26):
There was some resistance on the Chinese side, but the
fundamental thing that we wanted to accomplish is that we
wanted to keep TikTok operating, but we also wanted to
make sure that we protected American's data privacy as required
by law, both because it's the right thing to do,
but also because it's a legal requirement of the law
that was passed last year by Congress.

Speaker 2 (51:44):
That's JD Vance. Remember JD's venture capital finance guy, so
he plays a part in a lot of these things
because he's kind of been in and around that. He's
very much friends with all the tech bros. Big time,
big time friend. What's it worth?

Speaker 30 (52:00):
Company will be valued around fourteen billion dollars. We actually
think this is a good deal for investors, but ultimately
the investors are going to make the determination about what
they want to invest in and what they think is
a proper value. The most important thing is that it
does protect American's data security and ensures TikTok is still.

Speaker 2 (52:16):
Accessible because we don't want the young people pissed at
us three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty
three At Chad Benson Show, it's your X, your Insta
YouTube and more. Right here on the Chad Benson Show,
it's the algorithm and what it was doing to us,
and as we all know, the fight that's in there

(52:38):
every day because anger pays better if you will as
far as likes and clicks and things of that nature.
Then the good news. So that's the currency on TikTok
and others. Let me know what you think, and again,
the algorithm, that's the most important thing is the algorithm.
That is the secret sauce. That is the thing that

(53:00):
makes it worth what it's worth. They have something that
Shorts doesn't have on YouTube. They have something that Instagram
doesn't really have. Facebook doesn't have it all, and X
doesn't have. Instance is the only one that's close to it.
And it's still not that thing. You know, you can't

(53:24):
put your finger on it. The question is, though, you've
got all of these people that have close ties with
the administration, and the worry is it's going to become
a MAGA talk. I always like magno related.

Speaker 6 (53:38):
If I could make it one hundred percent MAGA related.

Speaker 2 (53:41):
It's actually a good question, but I would. Yeah, if
I could make it.

Speaker 6 (53:45):
One hundred percent Mega, I would, But it's second to
work out that way.

Speaker 2 (53:48):
Unfortunately, No, everyone's going to be treated fairly. I don't
know about that. Maybe maybe not. We're going to see.
We're going to see. We'll see what happens. Does it
become a talk that's a possibility. I'm not saying it's not.
I'd like to think it's not going to but we
shall see. Coming up next, our buddy Zack A Ram,
Chiefsment Officer Board Capital is going to join the program.

(54:10):
I'm going to talk about the economy, what's going on there?
Are the numbers real when it comes to the latest
revision of the GDP, among other things. Straight ahead, Chad Benson.

Speaker 14 (54:18):
Show, Son, Chad Benson, Joe.

Speaker 1 (54:41):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (54:45):
It's it's that time of the week. Talk to our
abuddy Zack A Ram Chiefs an officer, bo or Capital
talk about the economy, all right, brother, right out to
gate GDP. They revised it should I believe these numbers,
you know.

Speaker 31 (54:59):
Sure, GDP numbers are so especially when you look at
the way they're tabulated, they can be so misleading. So
what I tell people all the time is, you know,
whether you see revisions up, down, whatever the case may be,
what you're really looking at for on the GDP side
of things to see if there are any big shock changes.

(55:21):
Because we live in a click world, right, getting clicks,
everybody's going to try to dress them up and make
it sound more exciting than it is, especially in an
environment like this.

Speaker 2 (55:31):
I would expect.

Speaker 31 (55:32):
GDP to be very loud, very noisy. That's what we're seeing.
But you're not seeing any you know, crate like it's
kind of funny to hear everybody talk about, oh, look
at the size of that.

Speaker 2 (55:41):
Revision, and you're sitting there going, well, it's yeah. I
mean that happens all the time.

Speaker 31 (55:45):
And when you think about the craziness and the variability
that tariffs have thrown into everything, when you think about
what's going on with China and how China's trying to
rapidly you know, get XP or it's going to other
countries other than the United States.

Speaker 2 (56:02):
Help.

Speaker 31 (56:03):
There's so many different things shifting around, and so I
think GDP reports as always need to be taken with
a grain of salt.

Speaker 2 (56:09):
But I'd say even more so right now. So speaking
of tariffs, and I've been debating this, they're gonna it's
going to the Supreme Court. Let's just say for the
sake of argument, they said, dude, you don't have the
you know, this is not your purview. This is Congress.
They're the ones who said tariffs, your emergency that you

(56:30):
used is not something that can be used for this.
That money's got to go back. That throws everything sideways.
What would that do to the market. I don't know
that that's.

Speaker 31 (56:41):
A really good question, because because I think what you'd
probably see is you'd probably see.

Speaker 2 (56:50):
A selloff in the dollar.

Speaker 31 (56:53):
You would probably see some market volatility, but then that
would be offset by the markets breathing a sigh relief
about not having to worry about tariffs any longer.

Speaker 2 (57:05):
But I'll tell you what.

Speaker 31 (57:06):
And I am not a teriff law expert by any
stretch to the imagination, or am I an international trade expert,
But based on our readings of the rules and laws,
I would be I would be very shocked if the
ruling comes back. Now, I wouldn't be shocked if they
curtailed some of those powers or curtailed some of those orders.

Speaker 2 (57:28):
Like a little bit narrow, made a little bit.

Speaker 31 (57:29):
More narrow in certain ways, maybe, But but it's it's
when you start looking at the at law, when you
start really examining these things. I think it's a really
tough argument to make that via precedent, right, which is
what people I don't think pay enough about. Precedent is
such a big deal in our in our in our system.
And the president does have the ability to impose tariffs.

(57:52):
Now if they go over a certain level, you've got
to get Congress come in there and do their thing
as well. But the it's it's happened in the past,
there's precedent for it, and I think that that is
going to be right. And I'm and I'm not sitting
there arguing that the Supreme Court should do one or
the other. What I am saying is I would be
shocked if that's the ruling they come back with.

Speaker 2 (58:14):
But you know, in this environment, I mean.

Speaker 31 (58:17):
You know, I we should probably we should probably caveat
the word shocked, right, no, because you know it's yeah, it's.

Speaker 2 (58:24):
All over the place, talk exactly, Abraham, Chiefsment Officer, Board Capital.
I read an article today, I think it was in Fortune.
Was Forbes one of the two it was The thing
was Fortune talking about it is the most uncomfortable bull
market out there. I feel like everybody's waiting for a
pop somewhere. Yeah. Well, so here's the funny thing.

Speaker 31 (58:45):
I keep hearing people say that, and yet when we
examine the data, you have never had more levered long positions,
You have never had the options market as insanely bullish
as it is so.

Speaker 2 (58:58):
Now.

Speaker 31 (58:59):
Short term, I will be shocked if we don't see
some substantial volatility here the next month. And I am
not advising anybody to do anything. I will just let
you know that we've been building hedges into our portfolios
for the last week just because there's so many things.

Speaker 2 (59:15):
Look, whenever I see moves like this.

Speaker 31 (59:18):
I don't know if you paid any attention to this,
but in Vidia just announced that they are going to
invest one hundred million dollars in open Ai. Open Ai
is going to turn around and use that one hundred
and fifty.

Speaker 2 (59:30):
Billion dollars to buy in Vidio chips.

Speaker 31 (59:32):
Okay, this is what we used to call back in
the day, revenue sales, Right, you're just engineering revenue. And
I thought somebody had a really good one where they
showed a power strip but instead of the power strip being.

Speaker 2 (59:43):
Plugged into the wall, it was plugged into itself.

Speaker 5 (59:45):
You know.

Speaker 31 (59:46):
And I think that that is a very very important
thing to pay attention to, because here's what I can
tell you for certain, in Vidia would not be doing
that if internal demand is what they said it was.
The reason they wouldn't is because it's not as right,
it's not as profitable, it's more cumbersome than just selling
the chips out right.

Speaker 2 (01:00:05):
Yeah, So.

Speaker 31 (01:00:07):
What we think is going on actually is China came
out last week and said no more in Vidia chips
within forty eight hours that news of the open a
ideal came out, Right, So we estimate that China's probably
soaken up about thirty percent of that demand globally. You're
not going to make that up right, And here's the issue,

(01:00:29):
and I don't think. Look, and none of this means
that in Video is about ready to collapse or Video's
an unbelievable company.

Speaker 2 (01:00:34):
They're going to be here for a really long time.

Speaker 31 (01:00:36):
Their valuation though, right, this is you and I have
had this conversation the valuation. If we pull back revenue
estimates over the next five years by even fifteen or
twenty percent, that stock's probably going to take a forty
percent header because it's so richly valued.

Speaker 5 (01:00:51):
Right.

Speaker 31 (01:00:52):
The other thing we got to think about is if
China says they don't want any more in Vidia chips,
that means that they've got something that does the job
up right.

Speaker 2 (01:01:01):
Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

Speaker 31 (01:01:02):
That's going to take a debt in Nvidia's stuff. So
I hear people saying that they think the market is
really vulnerable, but when you look at the way investors
are positioned, it's it's very aggressive. It's historically aggressive, and
you've seen these moves. The reason we're getting nervous is
in Vidia went up like five percent on that news.

Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
Which is crazy news, which is crazy right.

Speaker 31 (01:01:26):
It's it shouldn't have made their stock plummet, but what
it should have done is made everybody step back and go,
wait a second, why are they trying to engineer demand
by paying somebody one hundred billion to buy their chips?

Speaker 5 (01:01:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:01:38):
Right, that doesn't even make any sense. Why is your
stock going up when you just lost a huge client
and if you will in China saying we're not buying
your stuff, and everybody's like, we should buy more in Vidia.

Speaker 31 (01:01:50):
Yeah, And that's and and and honestly, that's what really
worries me because I think two things are driving it.
And I can tell you as a guy that manages money,
I'm sympathetic.

Speaker 2 (01:01:58):
To both things. But I think two things are driving it. A.

Speaker 31 (01:02:02):
You have more uneducated amateur investors operating in this market
with record amounts of leverage and you've ever had by far.
But B, you have more money managers than ever in
history that are scared to death to not be long
us big cap tech, right, and the reason they're scared

(01:02:23):
to not be long US big cap tech is the
same reason we're afraid to not be long US big
cap tech because it's rallied for the last fifteen years,
regardless of what was going on, right, So, I mean,
it's really been the only you know, unbeatable or unsinkable
ship out there in the market that's really muscled through everything.

Speaker 2 (01:02:40):
And so when I start seeing moves.

Speaker 31 (01:02:44):
Like that, and you've got to put people like Zach
that's five percent in video, that's not a big deal.

Speaker 2 (01:02:49):
What's five percent?

Speaker 31 (01:02:50):
You go, well, guys, five percent of a four trillion
dollar company is two hundred billion dollars or two x
their annual profit. And that's the other thing that's starting
to freak me out is when you look at these
companies at this size, right at these valuations, you start looking, well,

(01:03:10):
I think the stock's gonna go up forty percent. You
think that stock's going up one and a half trillion
dollars right in the next how many days? You know
what I mean, Like people are losing track of the numbers,
and and you know, so let's say in Vidio boost
profits by twenty percent twenty billion, that should add another
one point four trillion on their market gap.

Speaker 2 (01:03:31):
You see.

Speaker 31 (01:03:32):
So this law of large numbers is really starting to
become kind of what I think is sort of a
sort of damically is hanging over the top of the market,
which is look sooner. I'll just tell you right now,
these valuations aren't gonna hold when they pop.

Speaker 2 (01:03:44):
I don't know, but that's you know, those deals.

Speaker 31 (01:03:49):
You know, you think back to ninety nine, think about
two thousand and two thousand and one, think back to
seven o eight oh nine. You always have these telltale signs,
these canary in the coal mine time moments, and when
the dark you know, the profit machine unlike anything the
world has ever seen. When they're engineering hundred billion dollars
deals to increase sales, I can't help but to think

(01:04:11):
that that's a bit of an alarm bell going off, saying, hey,
look out right, yeah, because if it was really that good,
why are they doing that?

Speaker 2 (01:04:18):
Yeah, no doubt, it's crazy. Talking to Zack Abram chvesment
Officer Board Capital, you know, there's the you know, the
internals of the economy and this, that and the other.
But I think one thing, and I talked to a
couple of people this week about it the the externals.
The world feels a little bit on edge right now.
And you've got you know, the all of the admirals
and and and all of the generals going to meet

(01:04:40):
with HEGSEC next week. You've got there's no doubt that
Trump has relationship with Putin has hit the rocks. And
you know, I wonder stuff gets spicy the market is
you know, it moves out of spiciness. That's something I
have they built anything into that or so that catch
everybody right in the shorts. I think there's so many things.

Speaker 31 (01:05:03):
Here's the catch though, here's the crazy part about it.
You think about all this stuff going on, you still
have the volatility index the vics trading at like sixteen, right,
So insurance is cheap. That's the crazy thing is nobody
thinks they need it. And so there's any number one
of these things that could go off. And and here's
the thing that makes it so or potentially pernicious and

(01:05:25):
kind of kind.

Speaker 2 (01:05:25):
Of freaky, is what could typically happen.

Speaker 31 (01:05:31):
It's not just the event, right, it's what the event
makes people say. And when events like that occur, people
start taking a much closer look at what they own
and they start thinking thinking to themselves, you know, what,
should I own Palanteer at six hundred times earnings? Should
I own Nvidia twenty five times revenue?

Speaker 2 (01:05:52):
Is that a good idea? You know what I'm saying.
It's kind of all of those things that you're taking
stock and stuff that you think, do you know what
I've done? Okay here, I don't know if I need
to hold this thing forever?

Speaker 1 (01:06:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:06:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 31 (01:06:02):
And and you know it's all of those stocks at
the top of the market, the fang stocks that everybody
owns way too much of. So if everybody starts trimming
those positions, you know, it could get nasty and hurry.
And one of the things that freaks me out the
message that I'm trying to get to investors. You know,
our value portfolio is up more than twenty nine percent

(01:06:23):
this year, and we own barely any of that stuff.
And the reason it's up is because all the value
that's out there, the gold mining stocks, the silver stocks,
that we picked up some Chinese equities a few months ago,
and that's just been a rocket ship higher. And even
though it's been a rocket ship higher, there's still trading
at a fifty percent discount to US equities. Right, So

(01:06:44):
the thing I'm looking at people is going, you're playing
with fire and you don't need to. You're investing in
things that don't make economic sense, meaning great companies. But
you know, like Buffett says, there's no such thing as
bad assets, just bad prices, and there's just a bunch
of bad prices out there. So I'm sitting there going,
I think the average American investors making this way too hard, right,

(01:07:04):
buy the value qu quit, you know, don't sit there,
don't just chase trends.

Speaker 2 (01:07:08):
That's worked for fifteen years.

Speaker 31 (01:07:10):
Now you're sitting here looking at a market where tech
isn't anywhere close to being the best performing sector this year.
The United States isn't anywhere close to being the best
performing market. And I think those are trends that are
going to continue. And the reason I think they're trends
that are going to continue is just go look at
the fundamentals of so many of these economies, so many
of these businesses that are not at the end of

(01:07:31):
a fifteen year run.

Speaker 2 (01:07:32):
They're emerging from ten, eight to twelve years of just nasty. Right.

Speaker 31 (01:07:37):
So you've got depressed valuations, you've got earnings troughs. You've
got all the stuff that guys like us that are value,
guys that recognize it are just licking their chops.

Speaker 7 (01:07:47):
Right.

Speaker 31 (01:07:47):
You show me the environment where the SMP is trading
at thirty three times earnings, and I can go all
over the place and find companies that are growing revenues
by twenty to thirty percent and trading at six seven
times earnings.

Speaker 2 (01:07:57):
I mean, sign me up.

Speaker 31 (01:07:58):
Yeah, But everybody's a aid not to be long those things,
and it's killing their performance this year. And we're just
sitting there going, hey, guys, the times they are a change,
and you got to change with them. The US market
is not going to dominate for every year going forward
for eternity, right, It's.

Speaker 2 (01:08:13):
Just that's not the way this works. Talking to Zach
Abramchievesment Officer Boward Capitol, all right, let's talk about your webinar.
You got to coming up next Thursday. Tell everybody about it.

This same this part of the program where we like
to bring you closer to the younger generation. Their vernacular
is different. Some of the words they sound familiar, but
you're not quite sure what the hell they're saying. Yeah,
you know what time it is.

Speaker 1 (01:11:16):
Now it's time for the urban word of the day.

Speaker 2 (01:11:20):
The young have a vocabularity all their own, and we
break it down for you. It's called the urban word
of the day. All right, your urban word, Oh, the
daddy bot liquor bot liquor similar to boot liquor. Okay,
someone who's overly dependent upon AI, So let's use it

(01:11:44):
like this. I actually think it is super cool that
it's AI. Everyone can make a cool art now. And
then somebody says that's because you're bot liquor. Oh yeah,
they're too dependent upon it AI.

Speaker 1 (01:11:58):
That was the urban word of the day.

Speaker 2 (01:12:01):
Now, you know there's a lot of that out there,
a lot of botlickers. Too, many people are dependent upon AI.
You got to know how to use it in moderation.
We're helping you out there. Three two, three, five, three,
twenty four to twenty three at Chadbentson Shows, your ext
your Insta, YouTube, Facebook, and more radio in the Chad
Benson Show. Coming up, our number three of the program.

(01:12:23):
Still a lot of stuff to get to. More on
comy now. The question is who's next? Who do you
have on your bingo card? I think that's a fair thing.
Oryboddy Jim Kennedy's going to join the program as well.
We're going to talk about coomy and the look that
this brings to the administration, because there is a look.

(01:12:46):
Even some of the most ardent supporters of Trump said
this feels uh, I guess awkward revenge. Talk about that
as well. Plus uh, what's trending or finally Friday Sounds,
among other things. Good stuff, Still ahead, our number three,
straight ahead, Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (01:13:04):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:13:33):
Picture this early in the morning, golf course still dark,
stands full. Why Ryder Cup, Baby, the Ryder Cup.

Speaker 32 (01:13:47):
Oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (01:13:58):
America right there, a little bit America. So the Ryder
Cup's going on. If you don't know what it is,
it is to me, it's the best thing in golf.
It is it's USA versus Europe, our best, their best,
and it is at Bethpage Black. It is a zoo
and it is just it's a lot of fun. It

(01:14:19):
is a lot of fun to watch. So pulling for
the USA, and it's going to be a very interesting,
you know, time to see how we play together because
the European team on paper, we've got the edge, but
the European team very tight. Nip group of folk speaking
of sports, and I've been trying to get to this.

(01:14:40):
I wanted to get to to this earlier with all
the stuff going on, and obviously Israel I don't know
if you guys are aware of this, but they do
whatever they want whenever they want, and by that I
mean the the Hood Party and BB and his pals.
One of the things that may happen Israel may be

(01:15:01):
kicked out of all the sporting events, kind of like
Russia was. And this is a big deal because when
I've talked to several people about you know, there is
like sanctions and some of these things, even recognizing Palestine
by some of these countries. It's somewhat of a hollow
gesture at this point in time, but almost to a person,

(01:15:25):
they all said the same thing. Go after the sports,
in particular, go after their soccer team.

Speaker 33 (01:15:36):
Well, I'm hearing that UEFA is looking at now banning
Israel from its competitions. There is understood to be a
majority of the European fas and members of their Executives
Committee in favor of throwing Israel out of European club competitions,
and indeed they're stopping their international team playing. This could
be potentially preventing it or continuing trying to qualify for

(01:15:58):
the World Cup, which is largely being stayed in the
United States next year. And this is deeply concerning the
Trump administration. I've had exclusively from the State Department who
told me this, we will absolutely work to fully stop
any effort to attempt to ban Israel's national soccer team
from the World Cup. So that's certainly putting pressure on FEFA.

Speaker 2 (01:16:20):
No doubt. Let's see here, who's not playing in this
world Go, oh, that's right, vlot And is impaling friends
of Russia. Yeah, this is something because you know, as
we talk about, you know, sports washing and all these
kind of things that we see and comedy washing. We'll
get to that in a little bit. This is something
where you're seeing now the power of our administration and

(01:16:45):
they're bizarre, absolute crazy, almost fanatic like dedication to bb
and the government of his I want to put that
out as the government Israel. So when everybody comes to
me and goes, you're anti Semitic, its shut up? Why not?

(01:17:05):
Why should they? And this is so UEFA is the
European Soccer FIFA, there's the governing body for everything, and
so UEFA's thinking, hey, you know, we're going to kick
all your teams out of the European competitions. That's what
we're going to vote. And FIFA's thinking, you know what,
we're getting pressure. The problem is guy who runs FIFA.
It's kind of a pal with Trump.

Speaker 33 (01:17:27):
It does open up some very intriguing political dynamics between
UEFA and FIFA as the football bodies. But where does
this put FIFA because their president, Jeannie and Fantina is
very close to Donald Trump, FIFA's New York offices and
now in Trump Tower in New York, that's where Infantina
is this week. So how does he balance out these
alliances with the World Cup coming next year and so

(01:17:48):
many questions now within football, particularly I hear within UEFA
where they're asking if we've got Russia band as they
have been since twenty twenty two over the war in Ukraine,
why on Israel band? And what is particularly change the
dynamic this week is the UN Commission of Inquiry saying
that is Well is committing genocide in Gaza, something Israel
does deny. But it is a growing concern for our phase,

(01:18:10):
of course, one that will impact the football associations in
this country in terms of a decision to take.

Speaker 2 (01:18:14):
So this is going to be interesting to see because
we're hearing that other national teams are now threatening to
potentially pull out of any participation of the World Cup
if Israel's not stopped because thinking about four days after
Russia invaded Ukraine, they were pretty much banned from everything.
So and this is not about defending yourself. We've long

(01:18:37):
gone past that. So let's see how the administration handles this.
They're going to put hardcore pressure on FIFA to make
sure that they stay. It's going to be different with
Europe in the club teams, but for the World Cup.
And I've heard so many people say, you know what,

(01:18:58):
go after him here because it's super important to them.
Let me know what you think. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson's show,
is Your ex Your Instant YouTube, Facebook, and more, we're
finding out more about the shooter in Texas Dallas to
be exact, Uh WHA could do? Yeah, no doubt. Oddly enough,

(01:19:19):
I was read, you know, and I've been reading a
lot about him, and I don't use the name. I
don't do that and glorify any of these things. When
it's a newsworthy kind of news thing that just happens,
that's one thing. But outside of that, I don't use
the name. And the things I'm hearing from family and
friends and reading about is this guy lived like almost

(01:19:40):
two serpent lives. A life where he was just a
dude just hanging out, and another life where he was
probably in the interwebs and angry and hateful and just
it's it's so weird to see the way that that
people are living two different lives where family and friends

(01:20:04):
don't even notice because they're not talking about it. They're
not being outgoing about their hate tred for the administration
or for ICE, or for any of these things. And
that's the scary part. It's the not knowing. You know.
I always say crazy man. You know, here's the thing
about crazy on the internet. I like to see it,

(01:20:31):
meaning I don't want it to go anywhere. I want
to know where crazy's at. And usually the loud ones
don't do they don't do anything right. They talk a
good game, but they're they're nothing. It's the ones that
are just smiling, kind of have that thousand foot stare
and seem to be a political and almost numb to
a lot of stuff. That's the one you need to

(01:20:53):
look out for.

Speaker 8 (01:20:54):
He hoped his actions would terrorize ICE employees and interfere
with their work, which he called human trafficking, and this
what he did is the very definition of terrorism.

Speaker 2 (01:21:12):
M H. It was very much. So the question was
is he involved with any of the groups they found
out now he's not involved with any other groups. Top
of that, he looked at these people as the scum
of the earth, that they were human traffickers themselves, And
it was how did you get there? Is the question,

(01:21:36):
how did you get from what seems to be a
normal ish life to such a dark view on things? Oh,
that's right, because you've got so many people in the
political world who a running around screaming every day how
much the Trump administration and anybody who supports the Trump
administration or is even on the right side of the
aisle is a Nazi and a fascist, And so you

(01:21:58):
feel in your mind that you have to protect everybody.
And instead you went there to kill some ICE members
and to do a bunch of property damage, and you
managed to kill somebody who was a migrant who you're
there to help, wound to others, then shoot yourself. And

(01:22:22):
I think we asked this question almost every day now.
Who else is out there in those chat rooms, in
those areas where they are pissed and angry about women
being mean to them? And that they're just awful and
horrible or weird fetishes that they have and just bizarre

(01:22:45):
view of the world. All black pilled out, hatred of
the administration, hatred of this who on the surface smile
and wave. But their other life, the one that they
would act upon something that's the one, and that's truly
the lone wolf. That we should all be trying to

(01:23:07):
figure out where we can find that lone wolf and
try to save what they may do and them from themselves.
Speaking of saving people from themselves, Trump, I'm sure you
guys heard Comy the whole nine yards. I feel bad
for the prosecutor.

Speaker 5 (01:23:25):
The new.

Speaker 2 (01:23:28):
Appointed prosecutor was Haberman's that her name who She had
no choice but to do this, and everybody told her
not to do this. They told the last guy, now
you shouldn't prosecute, and he's like, now nothing, We're not
going to get this. We shouldn't prosecute. And then of

(01:23:48):
course Trump said, now they're all bad, they're evil. I
want you guys to understand, this is not about getting
a guilty plead. This is about making their lives miserable.
This is Trump's march to see what you guys did well,
look what I'm gonna do. Revenge tit for tat, going

(01:24:09):
John Wick, whatever it is. This isn't about getting the convictions,
but the fact that it's being used as a law
fair when they use lawfair against him. So the Left,
if you're out there saying I can't believe this happened.
No no, no, no, no no, they did it to him
as well, turn about his fair play is what people

(01:24:30):
are thinking. I don't like it. I didn't like what
they did to him, and I voiced my opinion about it.
I don't like this now, but even more so with
this because he's actively pushing for these things. Let me
know what you think. Three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three atch you had Benson shows

(01:24:51):
your ex your Insta coming up, what's trending? Prize picks
is awesome, So go down down load the price picks app.
Now use my coach, Chad. I'll tell you why. That's
very important because you can get fifty bucks immediately into
your account, guaranteed win or lose when you play a
first five dollars lineup. So what is the lineup? Two
or more players and you're choosing more or less based

(01:25:15):
on their projected stats. They're already giving you one. The
max discount this week is Jalen Hurts. Will he pass
for more than a half a yard? So he passes
for one yard? You win. See where we're going with this.
It's that simple. It's all about more or less. So
maybe it's somebody like Saquon Barkley more or less than
one rushing touchdown, Josh Allen more or less than two

(01:25:38):
hundred and seventy yards passing. That simple. You understand the game,
you get it, and you can do it through any sports. Baseball,
hockey's coming back, We've got all of these things going on. Yes, kids,
it is an opportunity for you to use that knowledge.
And how about this fifty dollars immediately in your account

(01:25:58):
when you play first five dollars line the download the
prize picks app. Now when you do use my co
chad that's c H A D. You got that, okay,
and the mini play that lineup fifty dollars right into
your account to blame more lineups. It's that simple. Use
CoA chad to get fifty dollars in lineups after you
play your first five dollars lineup prize picks. It's good
to be right, Chad Benson.

Speaker 1 (01:26:18):
Shoe Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (01:26:37):
Now it's time to find out what's trending. What's trending.

Speaker 26 (01:26:50):
Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, serull.

Speaker 1 (01:26:59):
Bloom, what Truphy.

Speaker 2 (01:27:05):
That's why I was trending on the old interwebs on
this Friday. Start with Yahoo. Ryder Cup TV schedule, the
absolute best Ryder Cup, best golf, best golf, so Europe
versus USA. Super excited Rush Ukraine wore Donald Trump's approval ratings,

(01:27:32):
Washington commander's US government shutdown. Priscilla Presley apparently now stick
with me here, guys, And I don't know if you
guys found this to shocker. Michael Jackson married into family
for good press apparently wasn't love. I know, shocker. This
is my shock. Face over to Google. Seahawks no one

(01:27:55):
training thing gotta win last night. Go over to Cadnalls
admire with a fifty three yarnfield goal to win a
hand Barcelona soccer Seawn Alexander, former Seahawk and current dad.
He and his wife are welcoming number fourteen point that

(01:28:19):
out fourteen fourteen of those put that out there. Heg Seth.
We've been talking about that throughout the day. He orders
a very rare, urgent meeting of hundreds of generals and
admirals take place Tuesday. Ryder Cup trending, Avatar, fire and ash.

(01:28:46):
The trailer dropped and finally over to the medical world
of Twitter three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is your ex insta,
your YouTube, your Facebook and more right here on The
Chad Benson Show, Comy right Tail and all Judge, you know,

(01:29:15):
you get the Seahawks there, then it's Hillary. Much more
of a political nature is the old X. And I
was actually talking to my buddy yesterday about this that
when I go to my my TikTok, it's goofy stuff,

(01:29:37):
right like it's it's funny animal videos or tac animal
videos or just you know, just total some soccer videos,
very very random, non political. My insta is is a
mixture of stuff, but there's some more political stuff on there.
X is only political, only political stuff when you're scrolling

(01:29:59):
through the even the videos for the most part. So
it's it's very interesting when you when you the way
that you look at stuff, and even like we talk
about Google. You go through the Google searches compared to
the X searches. The Google searches are everyday mainstream stuff
from albums to sports events to things like that. You
get that once in a while on X, but not

(01:30:23):
the same way you get it on that. And yeahoo's
a little bit more People Magazine if that makes sense. Yeah, yeah,
three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three.
That is the text line. Love hearing from all of
you at Chat Benson Show. That is your ex your instant,
your Facebook, and your YouTube. We try to go live
every single night. I didn't do live last night because

(01:30:44):
I had to get the computer fixed. It was a
bios thing. It's technology is built great and a pain
in the butts coming up, our buddy, Jim Kennedy, Kennedy
Institute Public Policy Research, Straight Ahead, Chat.

Speaker 1 (01:30:56):
Benson Show, Son, Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:31:23):
It's that talable the week. Everybody sit down, talk to
our good buddy, Jim Kennedy, Kennedy Institute of Public Policy Research.
We talk pop culture and all the good stuff that
goes on in politics. Jim, I'm gonna hit you right
out the gate with something we were you and I.
I think there was a time that you and I
used to get suspended all the time from X and
from Google's YouTube and all the other thing. And come

(01:31:46):
to find out we shouldn't have been suspended.

Speaker 26 (01:31:48):
Damn it now, we should not have been they admitted,
good old Google admitted in a letter yesterday that oh yeah,
by the way, we shouldn't have been suspending people. The
Biden administration was leaning on us to censor people who
were putting up what they deemed to be COVID misinformation,
which probably wasn't as they've said now. And also if
you wanted to talk about the twenty twenty election and

(01:32:11):
Donald Trump thinking that he had the election stolen, you
couldn't really talk about that either, and they were shutting
people down for that. Also, yeah, I've been suspended from Facebook,
I know, since twenty sixteen, about two week before the
Republican National Convention, and never been able to get that
put back together with a legitimate answer as to what
exactly I did. And of course I talked to my
lefty friends and tell them about like, oh, obviously he

(01:32:32):
did something wrong.

Speaker 5 (01:32:33):
And you deserve to get centered of course.

Speaker 26 (01:32:35):
Okay, thanks guys, I really appreciate your supportive free speech
as long as it's something that you approve of.

Speaker 5 (01:32:40):
But yeah, no, absolutely. It's funny.

Speaker 26 (01:32:43):
I didn't really see this on any of the you know,
MSNBC or CNN too much last night, and I don't
expect it's going to be on too much today. But
very is interesting. They're still all in all in a
tizzy about Jimmy Kimmel. But which is interesting because he
could have simply been replatformed within the hour if they
put them on Hulu and streamed them that night on Hulu,

(01:33:03):
and that would have gone away, you know, that problem
have gone away. Does send no station licenses there? But nope,
there was censorship. And now it turns out that the
left had been censoring and trying to see if they're
gonna do with me a culpa on this or what
sort of talk there will be in apologies for what
went on.

Speaker 2 (01:33:19):
I And you know, the funny thing is it's the
perfect hypocrisy because first of all, the government itself doesn't
really have any jurisdiction over you know, the going out
and cracking down on the the the innered web companies
the way they could using the FCC to go after,

(01:33:41):
you know, and put pressure on you know, ABC and
Disney and the fact that these people cave so fast
and yet at the same time, there's just it's just
nothing about this. I was telling everybody there. I got
suspended one time when on Facebook would we posted picture
of Greta Tuneberg. She and the funny thing it was

(01:34:03):
it was her at like some big conference and it
was one of those little skinny microphones like Bob Barkerustad.
But the tip of it, the windscreen was black and
it was a New York Times photo and they said,
we made it look like that. We we made it
look like Adolf Hitler. We didn't take the photo. It's
on the front page of the New York Times.

Speaker 5 (01:34:24):
I know.

Speaker 26 (01:34:25):
It's kind of the crazy thing that reading something about
The Hill dot com was commenting on it because they
wrote an article on it because they had gotten thrown
off off of YouTube in like tw twenty twenty two
because they had posted a video of Trump saying that
you know that the election was stolen from him. They
throw him off or you know, for election denial. They go,

(01:34:45):
wait a minute, we didn't say it. We were showing
the video of Trump saying it, but yet you threw
us off and it took them a week I think,
to get back on for it.

Speaker 5 (01:34:53):
So yeah, it was just it was just it's just crazy.

Speaker 26 (01:34:56):
Plus you have all these people they're talking about, you know, oh,
because in twenty twenty two, in twenty twenty three, those
are all right wing conspiracy theories. If you remember, no
one's being censored. You're just imagining another conspiracy theory because
you guys are posting you know, misinformation or lies or
hateful speech out there.

Speaker 5 (01:35:12):
I'm sure the reason why Google and Facebook.

Speaker 26 (01:35:15):
Did it too, because Zuckerberg's admitted that last year, went
along with it because in Twitter before Elon came along,
was they all had the same walk, you know, the
woke mind virus, and they all agreed with it.

Speaker 5 (01:35:26):
That's why they you know, that's why they didn't fight back. Yeah. Good.

Speaker 26 (01:35:29):
These people shouldn't be platformed, and you know we can
do this because we you know, we aren't government regulated,
and if the government wants it, hey, I agree with them.
Then it just gives us an excuse to go take
these people down and limit the speech because we don't
have to.

Speaker 5 (01:35:41):
Play fair with this.

Speaker 26 (01:35:42):
Yeah, and it's just wrong until it's all of a
sudden it's their side. You know that it comes up
and then all of a sudden, this is just a
constitutional crisis or you know, a free speech problem, but
you know it goes around it. I mean, it's wrong
for both sides. I'm not condemning anything. I don't think
the FCC should be involved with what it can me
and sells on lightno television. But I also don't think

(01:36:02):
that a government administration should be leaning on non government
regulated internet site to take down stuff that they don't
like or they don't approve of.

Speaker 2 (01:36:11):
Talking to Jim Kennedy Kennedy Institute of Public Policy Research,
we're talking every Friday about all kinds of good stuff, politics, pop,
guilt and whatnot. What do you make of Jimmy Kimmel's apology.

Speaker 26 (01:36:22):
Oh, I'm interesting. I'd call that an apology. It was
pretty weak.

Speaker 2 (01:36:27):
I don't think it was an apology because I don't
think he thinks he did anything wrong to them. It
was the Maga crowd that want and this is my interpretation,
is the maga crowd that was pissed. He didn't make fun.
He never made fun of Charlie Kirk. I don't but
he did go after the Maga crowd, and so there

(01:36:49):
was that issue. But everybody's like, he didn't apologize. I'm like, well,
he didn't make fun of Charlie. He made fun of
Trump and said that it was Trump Maga folks that
did this. He never wants said this is Charlie. Ha
ha ha.

Speaker 26 (01:37:04):
Yeah, no, absolutely no, you're you're your one hundred percent
correct on it. And I'm gonna guess that was the
absolute most that they were going to get out of
him because he was standing. I'm sure that he stood
extremely firm on that. And the problem is is, like,
you know, why can't we go back And you know,
maybe I'm not like a guy that goes out in
the front lawn and yells the kids to get off
my front lawn, but why can't we go back the
days of even Jay Leno where you really didn't know

(01:37:25):
their politics. You don't know if Jay Leno is Republican
or Democrat. You didn't know if Johnny Carson was Republican
or Democrat. But now again, you know you've got both.
You know, both both Colbert and Kimmel are obviously or
left wing activists in a sense they're pushing a narrative
out there and there. You know, Kimmell even more so,
is even bent on taking Donald Trump down. He want,

(01:37:45):
you know, he's like the Gavin Newslim he wants to
go out there and basically be the guy to make
sure that that Trump.

Speaker 5 (01:37:50):
Is removed from office somehow. And you know, the thing is,
Kimmel isn't necessarily all that funny. I mean he's not.
He's not funny, as Donald Trump said he is.

Speaker 2 (01:37:59):
No, he's not a median. He never was. He's not
a stand up and people don't understand that. They think
he seems I remember him from before even I remember
Hey Rock. Yeah, so it's like, yeah, so he's not
a comedian like the that a lot of people think that,
you know, the they're not. It's not. That's how the Johnny,
that's how Jay Leno was and you know, Joan Rivers,

(01:38:20):
these people are all comedians. He's kind of a you know,
he's a host, it's a different thing.

Speaker 5 (01:38:25):
Entertainer. Yeah, but he's not.

Speaker 26 (01:38:27):
You're right, he's not a stand up comed to a
new stand up, which is funny because his best friend
is Adam.

Speaker 5 (01:38:32):
Carolla, who is a stand up.

Speaker 26 (01:38:33):
Yeah, and it is the absolute you know, opposite end
of the political spectrum from him, and I guess they
just don't really talk politics. I guess that's kind of
how Even said that he talked to Kimmel because he
was driving and and just heard about it and he
called Kimmel.

Speaker 5 (01:38:47):
He said Kimmel was kind of, you know.

Speaker 26 (01:38:49):
What, was kind of you know, sad about it, but
he didn't like he didn't say anything about him, you know,
spouting off about Trump or it's anything about it.

Speaker 2 (01:38:57):
It's interesting. So, uh, we're going to talk to Adam
and Belle and I have talked about this my local producer. Yeah,
Adam has said on a few occasions that Jimmy's not
as left as everybody thinks he is. He just hates
Donald Trump.

Speaker 26 (01:39:16):
Okay, sure, you know what, you know what, I'll give
him that. And I think you know what now that
you think now they think about that, that probably applies
a lot of people. Yes, they really aren't. It's just Trump,
it's TDS, it's Trump arrangement. It's basically out there. Basically
Trump does stuff to people. I don't know what it is,
but there. It has been going on since twenty fifteen.

(01:39:37):
It just that just something Trump just triggers people like crazy.
And yeah, no, I think that's a good point. I
think that is because because I don't remember his politics
being that. Then again, I never really watched Kimmel.

Speaker 2 (01:39:49):
But you know what, even when I watch him very
you know, like he'll take shots at Ted Cruz once
in a great while, but mostly it's just old Trump
that he goes after, and you know, and that you know,
the he doesn't go after Bush, he doesn't go after
a lot of these other people, you know, the stalwarts
that you would think of in Republican politics. And again,
I watched that the other night. That seventeen minutes is

(01:40:11):
the only seventeen minutes I've ever seen of Jimmy Kimmel.

Speaker 5 (01:40:14):
Yeah, I've seen some stuff. I've seen some clips.

Speaker 26 (01:40:16):
I've seen some of the gags he does with Matt
Damon and stuff like that. But yeah, I've never I've
never stayed up and watched the show live. I've seen
some YouTube clip I'm saying for Colbert and I'm not
like protesting.

Speaker 5 (01:40:27):
I just I go to bed before that. I've got
to get up in the morning. I've got a job
to go to. I don't have time to stay up
till eleven thirty and watch an hour of television. I
just don't.

Speaker 26 (01:40:36):
It's just doesn't fit into my lifestyle as I've chosen
it right now. So it's not that it's some great protest,
you know, And I didn't really do that other than
maybe I was in an odd sleep pattern with Leno either,
you know, nothing like that.

Speaker 5 (01:40:48):
So it's just it's just the way that it works out.

Speaker 26 (01:40:50):
But yeah, it'll be interesting to see how this turns
out because his contract is up for renewal at I
think it's either in April or June of this year
of next year, and I don't for see them going
forward with the show. Just pout the economics of it, again,
not necessarily any of the politics of it. And again,
you know, he wasn't you know he was pulling in
His numbers had gotten as low as one hundred and
twenty nine thousand in the was it eighteen to forty

(01:41:13):
five or yeah, nine demo, which is horrendous numbers.

Speaker 5 (01:41:16):
It's well, somebody was who was it was? It was?

Speaker 26 (01:41:20):
It wasn't even Rogan, it was somebody. Oh, Ben Shapiro
saying he pulls better numbers than that.

Speaker 2 (01:41:25):
Yeah, Well, the interesting thing is He's number one in
the coveted eighteen to forty nine demo. Oh he oh,
Kimmel is Yep, that's how bad it is. Because nobody
watches late night television.

Speaker 5 (01:41:38):
A dying It's a dying breede. Yeah it is.

Speaker 2 (01:41:42):
I mean, there's no reason for it. We've all moved on.
Everybody only watches clips of stuff. It's just the way
life is. And and you know, the only one I
for see sticking around is The Tonight Show because it's
the Tonight Show.

Speaker 26 (01:41:56):
Yeah, absolutely, It's got the history on it. Both of
these guy who are are relatively new to it. You know,
ABC didn't really well they had a late night show
than they did and then they did than they didn't
over the last fifty years. But yeah, absolutely they it's
the Tonight Show is the granddaddy of all of them.
And if one would say would probably would be that
one because that's the one that people tend to And

(01:42:17):
and you know, he's not Falon's not bad at it,
and he is a little funny. He has some interesting
you know, gags and skits that he does. And again,
I mean I would guess his politics, but I don't.
He doesn't usually smack you in the face of them,
like Kimmel does and like Colbert does, so I would
think I think you're right on that.

Speaker 5 (01:42:37):
I think they would stick that out.

Speaker 26 (01:42:38):
But you know, I think that, you know, and Colbert
will be free to do this because he will not
be in a contract. I would think he's getting called
from Netflix and other streamers, Apple TV, plus they would
like to put him on the air, probably paying more money,
and he'd probably get better ratings on it to be
a show that you could stream at any time you
wanted to, you know, and they would maybe do it
live at you know, eleven o'clock or something. But yeah,

(01:43:00):
I think that's the future of it is a streaming
type of gig for those guys, and Kim will may
wind up with one you know, who know, who knows.

Speaker 5 (01:43:07):
Maybe they decide the movies show.

Speaker 26 (01:43:08):
Too, Hulu at ABC is Boston basically cut the production
staff in half and maybe make some money at it.

Speaker 2 (01:43:13):
Indeed, Jim Kennedy Kennedy Institute Public Policy Research. Good talking
to you, brother. We'll do it again next week.

Speaker 5 (01:43:18):
Thanks.

tonight we speak with Charlie and for Charlie louder than ever.

Speaker 32 (01:47:44):
I posted a messenger on Instagram of the names killed,
sending up to his family and asking him for compassion,
and I meant it, I still do.

Speaker 19 (01:47:51):
He did not hate his opponents. He wanted the best
for them. That's where I disagreed with Charlie. I hate
my opponent.

Speaker 2 (01:48:00):
Man man, I forgive him absolutely powerful Erica Kirk and
delivered just an amazing speech. Like I said last week,
I watched very little of any of the memorial outside

(01:48:20):
of her because it was really about her, and there
were probably some good stuff there was, you know, I've
seen lots of clips, but just so powerful and it's
very interesting. Her forgiveness. Tim Allen comedian his father was murdered,
and he said because of what she did, he decided
to forgive the person that killed his father just powerful.

(01:48:44):
The power of forgiveness is huge. Three two, three, twenty
