Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
It's government shutdown day. We're a day away from tying
the record. It's also election day. It's all happening. We're
going to get to all of it because that's what
we do. First and foremost. The shutdown still goes on.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
Democrats holding firm in the shutdown to force Republicans to
come to the table on health insurance with premiums set
to skyrocket for millions of Americans and calling on the
Trump administration to keep Snap afloat, but the administration saying
there's little to no money left. President Trump promising he'll
negotiate on healthcare after the government reopens.
Speaker 4 (00:52):
We can fix it with the Democrats. All they have
to do is let the country open and we'll fix it.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
Democrats saying they don't believe him.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
Now, I want to remind everybody this, the shutdown is
not about Snap. This has become something where everybody thinks
this is about Snap. This has nothing to do with Snap.
Snap happens to be a part of the thing that
is paying the quote unquote price for this, but it
has nothing itself to do with the shutdown. The shutdown
is based on the subsidies that were set to expire
(01:26):
for Obamacare that were not only extended but then increased
when COVID hit, and then the Republicans are going to
get rid of it, and the Democrats are like, well,
you go and do that, and you know everybody's going
to be screwed, and we're hearing more and more stories
about how bad it is. Yesterday on my local show,
several people reach out to me and said, look, I
(01:48):
am you know, I'm a business owner, and my subsidies
helped me stay afloat when it came to my personal finances.
Now they want twenty five hundred dollars a month, I'm
gonna have to roll the dice, which you're gonna hear
a lot of. So just want to put this out
there because so many people think this is about snap.
It's not. This is about the actual subsidies and healthcare
(02:13):
cost of which let's go and remind everybody Obamacare was
not a Republican idea. It passed with zero Republican votes,
and of course the famous line from Nancy Pelosi where
we'll have to pass and to find out what's in it.
But because of the subsidies going away, this is why
the shutdown was going on.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
We first met Simon, a working single mom, a week ago,
when she was already skipping meals to feed her two
young boys.
Speaker 5 (02:38):
It has been days where the kids A E and
al Jays survive off water.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
After SNAP ran out the state telling her benefits will
come but may be delayed. We asked how much money
she has left for food?
Speaker 2 (02:52):
How much do you have left in your SNAP account? Zero?
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Across the country, more families turning to food pantries.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Yeah, and that is going to be something that you're
going to see more and more at the beauty of
our country, all right, for the chaos and the craziness
and the division that we can find ourselves in the
beauty of our country is we will step up from
one another. We will absolutely do that now. Yesterday judge rules, Hey,
you guys got to exhaust all means here, including the
(03:21):
emergency account for SNAP.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Under order from a federal judge, the Trump administration now
says it will tap all four billion dollars remaining in
SNAPS emergency funds to cover roughly half of the food
program for November, but warning it will take a few
weeks or even several months to pay out, leaving tens
of millions of Americans in limbo, and.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
The last place you want to be is in limbo.
Why it's going to take so long? I mean again,
the normally it's funded, and it's about ten billion dollars, okay,
so that's what it normally is. And the emergency fund
is there as an emergency, meaning if there is ten
(04:03):
billion needed, but they only have eight billion in this
fund right here, which is a snap fund, they go
to the emergency fund and make up the shortfall. All
they have is for so if you were getting two
hundred a month, you're probably getting close to one hundred.
And how long it's going to take, I don't know.
A while. And here's the other thing. While there is
(04:26):
no end in sight, at least not this moment. Now,
we're going to talk about the potential, especially after tonight
being the election night, and what could come from it.
But if this goes much longer, think about where we are.
It is travel season for a lot of people, It
is Christmas season for everybody. For the most part, it
(04:50):
is going to be a time where the struggles are
going to be really in front of us in a
way where not only is it affecting the individual, the
economy as a whole is going to feel it. And
as we all know, as the economy goes, so goes
the party in power. Speaking of the party in power,
move from that to yes, it is election day.
Speaker 5 (05:12):
This is going to be a referendum on this current administration.
And we could see anti Trump sentiment be a mobilizing factor.
So for the Republican Party when you look at these
off your elections, they could be an uphill battle for
the party in power.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Of course, it's always going to be that way. But
here's the thing. It is a referendum always on the
party that's in power. We always recognize that that's a
normal thing. But what's going on in New York is
a referendum on the Democrat Party as much as anything else,
(05:53):
because they are floundering and they are going nowhere. And
you've got a guy in Mondani who look, you know,
he's a communist, he's all of the things, he's you know,
as Islamist. I mean, the stuff I've seen is insane.
This is a referendum on the Democrats as much as
it is on the Republicans.
Speaker 5 (06:14):
There are folks that are trying to rebuild the Democratic
Party after losses up and down the balance in twenty
twenty four. Are they going to figure out how to
reach voters where they are? I think that remains to
be seen.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
And he is something that scares the but Jesus out
of him. First of all, he's young, he's hip, right.
He is also bringing with him a style that is
very reminiscent of the guy currently in power at the
White House, where he is well to do, comes from
(06:50):
a well to do family, seems to care about the
working man. Right. Is the way that they all pitch it,
and is a populace. Now they belief is different, but
a lot of what they're doing and saying, especially man
Donnie is mimicking off Trump and saying I'm gonna take
(07:11):
this populace and We're going to talk about affordability. We're
going to talk about affordability. And where Trump comes out
and says, you know, they printed money, they did all
this stuff. It is you know, it's ridiculous. It's the
government's fault of the affordability sideways. It's Biden's fault. He
being Mondannie's come out and said, now it's billionaire's fault.
(07:33):
You can't afford you things. It's because of the billionaires
you can't afford. You think it's because of the wealthy,
you can't afford any thing, Well, guess what, it's because
you were sold a bag of goods that turned out
to be a bag of crap. And so we're here
and we're going to fix this problem. And the interesting
stuff I find is Trump came out last night and
he endorsed Cuomo and I was like, who cares. I mean,
(07:55):
Croomo's not gonna win. Cuomo would have had a shot
had curt Sleeve gotten out. And if you're going who exactly,
he's the guy who started the Guardian Angels. It's a
very interesting character. But he's the guy who started the
Guardian Angels, among other things that he has done. And
he's had quite a life. I mean, it's a kind
of life for you, Like, Holy Mother of Goodness, I
(08:17):
mean the if you've never followed anything about Curtis Leewall,
let me tell you something. He is a radio host.
He is the guy who started the Guardian Angels. He's
a guy who used to you know, I saw Shane
gillisay at Best and I thought that's the perfect way
to say. He used to cover the mob in New
York like they cover sports and they didn't like that.
(08:40):
And he is He's had more than a few run
ins when it comes to you know, a lot of
things mafia and crime related to New York. And he's
just but he is running as the Republican. And if
he wasn't running, would it be closer. Yes, he is running,
and the reality is this isn't going to you know,
(09:05):
Trump's endorsement is going to get the likes of Cuomo
over the line, nor should it. By the way, can
I just say that Cuomo, have we forgot about the
stuff with the old people putting them back in the homes?
Speaker 6 (09:24):
Right?
Speaker 2 (09:25):
The accusations of sexual misconduct and moving go on and on.
It's amazing. But Mandonni, this is a referendum about the Democrats,
because the Democrats are struggling to find a voice and
a leader. And they look over and they say, this
(09:45):
guy's offering something different. This guy's also younger, and this
guy is potentially saying the things that sound good and
maybe the future of what we want. You don't have
to like it, but the reality is he's giving them
something different that they're craving. Now, as far as the
(10:08):
election today, take a quick look at what's going on.
You got the New Jersey race, which is close. So
that's Mikey, Cheryl and Citronelli and this is going to
be the closest race. The Virginia Governor's race. Abigail Spanberger,
(10:29):
she's gonna win. She's up pretty good, less competitive. And
then you've got Proposition fifty in California and this is
redistricting that's probably going to win as well as well
as ran macdonnie. So there you go. We'll see one
quick thing I want to touch on, and we're going
to talk to Mike Lanes about it a little bit later.
Dick Cheney died eighty four years old. Remembered for a
(10:52):
lot of things. You know, some people you know he's got,
you know, his life is one of those things where
you know, and we're gonna ask Mike Lyons about Dick Cheney,
you know, the Niacon. For a younger generation, they look
at him and think he is all things evil, and
that's not always true. It's a complicated legacy.
Speaker 7 (11:14):
He will be remembered, certainly for his role in protecting
America after nine to eleven, for that big mistake that
America made in the war with Iraq and absolutely as
being a patriot and a defender of American democracy until
his last days.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
And of course the Iraq War. So we'll ask Mike
Lions military analysts later on about him, because he and
I have text back and forth and he's got some
interesting takes on how he feels about Dick Cheneing. We'll
talk about that bunch of other stuff to get to today.

(12:57):
We shall discuss that, among other things.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
Chad Benson, Joe, you're listening to the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
Over the weekend, the Republican Jewish Coalition got together to
talk about, you know, the Republican Jewish Coalition stuff, and
to go after Really the big thing was go after
the likes of Tucker Carlson for his interview with Nick Fuentes.
And look, I think we should talk to everybody. You
(13:34):
can't change people's minds if you don't talk to them.
I have been a big critic and rarely ever talk
about Nick Fuentes because I just found the stuff he
said to be ridiculous. I found it to be clickbaity.
That being said, Tucker at him on and you can't
(13:55):
deny his influence, and you know so, but really he
was about going after Tucker Carlson and listening to some
of these people, Randy Fine, Mark Levin right, just the
way that they come after him and all of this
just makes me just laugh because see, the whole thing
(14:19):
is with Israel, and we've talked about it here. If
you've listened to the show. I'm one of the few
radio hosts. You know. I don't have the profile that
you know, the Dave Smiths and the Tuckers have. My
profile's not small, but as far as radio goes, I
am one of the few, if not the only, one
who's willing to criticize the and I'm going to say this,
(14:39):
the politics and the parties in Israel, not the people. Okay.
So that's one of the things when you know, people
talk about this stuff, and look, I will say I
did Tucker didn't go after Nick fuents hard enough. I
think that's a fair assessment of that. That being said,
(15:01):
listening to some of these people is just insane today.
Speaker 6 (15:06):
Tucker Carlson is the most dangerous andrey Semite in America.
Multiple speakers have talked about the rise of anti Semitism
on the right, but it is not enough to speak
in platitudes or generalities about the fight.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
We must call evil by its name. It's chosen to
take take on the.
Speaker 6 (15:26):
Mantle of leader of a modern day Hitler youth, to
broadcast and feature those.
Speaker 5 (15:32):
Who celebrate the Nazis, those who.
Speaker 6 (15:35):
Call for the extermination of Israel, to defend Tamas, to
even criticize President Trump for stopping Iron's nucleair ambitions.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three.
Right here on the Chad Benson Show, that's criticism. That
right there by the way is Randy find He has
given himself the moniker, the Hebrew hammer, freaking clown. I
sit here and I think to myself, you know what
I can take it. I don't mind that I get criticized,
(16:04):
And you can criticize them if you want. Criticizing the
politics in Israel and politicians in another country that we
support with our dollars doesn't make you an anti semit
It doesn't. So that would be like me, you know, saying, hey,
you know what I think what's going on as Sudan
is horrible. Well, that's because you're racist. It's like what
(16:26):
I think what's going on in Nigeria and the way
that their politicians have handled the slaughter of Christians over
the last fifteen plus years is awful and horrible. Well
that's because you're Islamophobic and a racist. Criticizing somebody does
not make you anything more than a critic of that person,
(16:51):
not the people. But it's hard to have a conversation
in this country when you've got so many whackadoos out
there because this is their go to you say, you
know what, I think what they've done over there is
horrific and wrong, and you can call it. You know,
some people out there will call it a ethnic cleanting.
Some people call it a genocide. I call it horrors,
(17:11):
absolute horrors what was happening in Palestine. And this is
not to dismiss hamas right. You have to always have
preface that, because God forbid you have nuance in a conversation.
But this is an issue we have and this is
a battle going on right now for the hearts of
minds in Maga. Let me know What to Think three, two, three, five, three, eight,
(17:32):
twenty four, twenty three Coming up, michaelin joins a program.
We'll talk to him straight ahead about all things military, Chad.
Speaker 8 (17:39):
Benson Show, Son Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
At that time of the week, we talked to our man,
Mike Lyons, military analysts, retired major in the Armors. We
talk about all things military, what's going on globally, and
the giant storm calm things down a little bit. But
that's sixty minutes interview. I mean, he's made it pretty
much known. Look, Maduro's days are he said, Maduro's days
are numbered. I don't know what that means. Does it
mean it's an assassination attempt? Does it mean Maduro's offered
(18:26):
the US everything? And the reality is is we've told
them no. And the question is, okay, why did we
tell him no? If he you know, I mean, this
is it feels like we're doing something based on what
some people maybe in Florida want, more than what's best
for America.
Speaker 9 (18:43):
Right, you know, this is not you know, we're a
long way from the guy that thought he was going
to win the Nobel Peace Prize. I mean, these are
not the kinds of things that we should be doing
right now. Anything with regime change, from my perspective, is
just not a good course of action at this point.
But it looks like that's where this is where this
is going.
Speaker 10 (19:02):
And I don't, I don't.
Speaker 9 (19:03):
This is not Panama, this is not nor Diega. This
is not the same kind of operation. There's a very
sophisticated military in Venezuela. Americans will expect casualties this This
is a little bit, you know, a little bit. We're
off the reservation for Donald Trump, and I'm really surprised
it's going this way. But at this point, given the
amount of military hardware that we have in the theater,
(19:25):
and it's not looking like it's backing down anytime soon.
So you're right, what does that mean? What does regime
change mean? What does Maduro Goan mean? I don't know
if we have an answer to that yet, but whether
or not, you know that this administration is going to
keep pushing towards that, you know, we have to just see.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
So like regime change. We're talking to, Michael Lines are
military analysts. You know, again, this is not like some
of the stuff we've had in the fast and we
do not have a great record we can point back to.
You know, you can go back and look at you know,
World War two in Japan. Since then, it's been more
missed than hit across the board. And we're great at
getting rid of somebody. And they already some lady in place.
You know, they've talked about the first hundred hours. But
(20:03):
the truth is, I mean, what do we really know
about any of that and her and what happens on
the inside, because you know, we all think that everybody's
going to celebrate us. There's gonna be a lot of
people that were fans of Maduro who may cause a
giant civil war and then all of a sudden, we've
gone in broke a bunch of stuff.
Speaker 9 (20:21):
Now we own it, right I you know, I think
it's been more missed and hit and you get to
your point and I don't think it's even been any
hit or so, you know, maybe we think culturally this
is going to be more aligned when we do this
in the Middle East. You know, we're completely over our skis.
But I don't understand what you know, what that planet
(20:41):
is going to be. And Venezuela is you know that
their value proposition to us is more natural resources. It's
natural it's rarest minerals. It's the oil that's it's under it.
But it's Columbia that's driving the drunk drug traffic. I mean,
they're the ones that are producing the cocaine and that
in the whole supply chain. And it's the fentanyl. There's
no fentanyl in Columbia. But Venezuela is, you know, is
(21:04):
the transport vehicle. And so this this is a power play.
And then maybe it is coming from Florida. Maybe it
is Marco Ruby. I'm not sure what we're doing here.
Speaker 8 (21:15):
But this.
Speaker 9 (21:16):
You know, if you like the neocons of the George
Bush era and the like, then you're gonna love what's
happening right now in the Caribbean. I'm not sure what
the overall strategy is.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Speaking of neocons, Dick Cheney passed away, yeah eighty four.
He was the ultimate neocona. I think a lot of
people look at him and say, this was the guy that,
along with a few others behind the scenes, that pulled
a lot of strings to get this this Iraq invasion
back in the day.
Speaker 9 (21:43):
Right, you know, chat I have a little torn about
this because I think Dick Cheney was the primary architect
of the first goal for which I participated in, and
why we were so successful back then, and why we
had all.
Speaker 10 (21:55):
The resources we needed to defeat.
Speaker 9 (21:57):
The enemy back then, And there's no question and that him,
Colin Powell, that was some team when it came to
the Department of Defense, Norman Schwartzkoff, everybody was aligned with
regard to resources, mission, all those things. So I was
always a very big fan of Dick Cheney, and in
some ways, you know, tribute my success and survival and
(22:18):
our units survival to him. But then you're right, we
get into two thousand and three and we go on
this excursion, this most crusade in the Middle East, starting
with Afghanistan obviously in response to nine to eleven, but
this situation within Iraq and then having potentially weapons of
mass destruction and we all know where that's led to
(22:39):
us today. So he's had two public lives. I think
I'm still a big fan of the first one.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
Talking to my client's military analysts, we talk about all
things military. Let's switch over to Russia or Russia. Russia
doesn't seem to be any movement right now. This seems
to be very quiet at this moment in time when
it comes to us even talking a bit about peace.
I don't know what's going on in the back channels,
but the reality is it seems to be just kind.
Speaker 9 (23:03):
Of there, right And I know that I did see
a report that we did send more Patriot missiles there.
That's really what their biggest need still is.
Speaker 10 (23:13):
Right now.
Speaker 9 (23:14):
The Russians have somewhat dialed back some of their missile strikes,
and we know that the Ukrainians continue to strike major
Russian infrastructure with their drone systems. They still it's a
complete stalemate. They you know, Russia still wants those territorial gains.
Ukraine wants their sovereignty back. The United States has not
(23:35):
started any of these kind of sanctions that they're talking to.
But we're back to complete, you know, attritional warfare right now,
and from Ukraine's perspective, they have to go after those
logistical hubs. These are not there's still military targets, but
they're still kind of grinding away here. Infrastructure, fuel, all
those things are remaining big targets from Ukraine's perspective, and
(23:58):
this is modern warfare right now at that level, you know, It's.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
Interesting because a lot of people say, look, if Ukraine
really wants to go after it, there is two giant
dams that they could hit. One of them, I think
is big enough that would flood out enough and do
enough damage that it would it would cause true chaos.
And it's almost still like everybody, while the conventional warfare
(24:24):
is there, people are still not ready to cross that
line just yet.
Speaker 10 (24:30):
Yeah, you know, it's fun it's funny.
Speaker 9 (24:32):
I think that when you go up to those kind
of large scale infrastructure projects, to say that you're going
to get them and destroy them is really a difficult challenge.
They would need sidewinders, they would need a significant amount
of increase of military assets in order to go after
that kind of target.
Speaker 10 (24:51):
You'd be surprised those are somewhat hardened.
Speaker 9 (24:53):
We had the same thing in a rock that everyone
thought that there were certain kind of dams ended up
flooding them, they would they would really hurt the US
forces going there. But but it's it's it's a to
your point, it's a humanitarian disaster that's just waiting to
go and if we go after them, they're they're still
difficult to take down. But but but but they're not
(25:17):
still the end all. But but that's a good point
talking to.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
My clients military and also we talk about all things military.
Obviously you saw what's going on in the Sedan. It
is horrific. You've got just crazy amounts of violence and
it's it's a very bizarre situation because one of and
this is the strange bedfellows the UAE is accused of
and for the most part seems to be backing what
is going on in the paramilitary group in Sidan. And
(25:44):
you know, I mean there's pictures of from satellites where
you can see the blood run in the streets. It's
this bizarre world, Mike, of us having to have these
strange bedfellows where we would condemn it normally, but at
the same time we can't because we all need them.
Speaker 9 (26:01):
Yeah, I know, good example of strategic gally where Sedan
sits on the Red Sea there and that those key
routes of you know, any you knows as minerals and
gold resources moved there.
Speaker 10 (26:14):
It's it's just the.
Speaker 9 (26:16):
Fact that you know, in our lifetimes or let's say
at post World War two era, that the African continent
still hasn't really been developed hasn't been westernized. It's you know,
the power struggle that exists in these places, you know,
have just been going on for many years and it'll
continue to do there. And it's the volume of people
that are involved, fourteen fifteen sixty million people. So this
(26:37):
war you know, that's going on there, you know, between
what the Sudanese Army and then I guess an RSF
is the other side they're called in Darfur, it's you know,
every conceivable humanitarian crisis is taking place, and it's been
plaguing place there for the last two years and again
with no end in sight.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
You know, when you see something like that. I mean,
and this is something that I was talking about yesterday.
I had to get too, as much as I wanted to,
where the hell's the UN man isn't it's the whole
reason we have the UN for situations like this. And
at the same time, I look up and say, outside
of having cocktails in Manhattan and relaxing and making millions
and billions of dollars from you know, America and and
(27:17):
and all the things they can rob us from, it
feels like they're not doing a damn thing. I don't
even see a blue helmet over there.
Speaker 9 (27:25):
Yeah, I saw actually quote you on Secretary General Warren
that this war is spiraling out of control. So you know,
they're back in the We'll send a memo and we'll
see if that will get things straight.
Speaker 10 (27:35):
But there's not.
Speaker 9 (27:37):
The UN I think has now come down to just
as much as it's been balkanized as maybe something as
our country has. And you've got religious.
Speaker 10 (27:46):
Aspects going on there.
Speaker 9 (27:47):
You know, you've got the Muslim influence in Darfur and
the like, and them trying to exert their pressure in there.
So the UN has become a non entity when it
comes to something like this, which is what it was
designed to stop or what it was designed to even
prevent from the very beginning.
Speaker 10 (28:03):
But I we're not going to see anything that changed
anytime soon.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Talking to my clients military analysts right quickly speaking of
of you know, more wars, it is still a tough
situation in Palestine. In Israel, Uh, there's a lot of
things moving parts. I know that the one of their
was it, one of their generals was just arrested, who
was one of their leaders because she released a video
(28:30):
of you know, some horrific crimes that some of the
IDF soldiers did so, but you've got this battle going
on internally, and yet I still see nobody when it
comes to Palestine that I thought there was going to
be a coalition of people going to police the area,
and I haven't heard a damn.
Speaker 10 (28:45):
Thing right we thought.
Speaker 9 (28:47):
I thought Egypt would have been that indispensable nation to
do that. Indonesia wanted to get involved, you had the
Turks that wanted to get involved, but they're moving at
a snail's pace like pond water, and we've not seen
that movement there. And that's because Hamas has still not
been disarmed. That was the next phase of this this agreement.
(29:07):
They haven't you know, given up some of the ministries,
but they really haven't disarmed. And that's why I would
say the attacks now are drone crisis, you know, Jones
strikes and the humanitarian crisis is always going to be there.
But it's still not safe enough if you're an external
country to bring your troops and forces in there. And
that's why the Israelis are going to have to clean
(29:29):
that up still before that starts.
Speaker 2 (29:31):
You know, it's interesting because I'm you know, I read
about all kinds of this stuff all over the place
and I hit you up and I'll send you stuff like, Mike,
what do you think about this? But yeah, one of
the things I'm seeing is Hamas is saying, hey, look,
we got militia groups over here. You want to kill us.
You guys are supposed to be here and offering us
this sort of protection to lay down our arms. What
are we supposed to do in this situation? And then
(29:53):
you know, you're hearing stuff that maybe Israel may fund
some of these militias because they've been known to do
that in the past. It's a weird situation, No.
Speaker 9 (30:00):
It is, And I mean maybe Homos is now looking
themselves in the mirror and saying that gaz has been
virtually destroyed. They don't have They're not getting a homeland
out of this. This two state solution is just so
far off the map. The West Bank still it is
another tenu of situations. It's not enough land there like
anything else. And so the creativity for this solution is
(30:23):
still very much out there, but it's going to take
it unless they decide literally to disarm.
Speaker 10 (30:30):
I don't think this process moves forward. And then that's
why we're in the state room right now.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
Last question. Appreciate you coming on my clients military analysts.
The government shut down, Okay, it's getting serious.
Speaker 4 (30:39):
Now.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
What you make of the mystery billionaire that gave money
to fund the military? That seems very old school JB.
Morgan kind of stuff. You know, you come over and
you write a check to the government to cover for something.
But this is not going anywhere positive right now because
people are now missing checks. I don't think there's gonna
be another mystery millionaire coming in to fix something. And
(31:02):
you've also got a lot of military families that unfortunately
are on snap and things of this nature. It is
getting tough out.
Speaker 10 (31:07):
There, yeah, Chad and not.
Speaker 9 (31:09):
You know, I've got a little my son's in the Navy,
so I'm close to this situation. And you know, they
got paid again. The military has gotten paid now. That
check that he wrote was hardly enough in order to
pay the entire military and when it comes to their
you know, their paychecks. But they were able to find money,
and I know they did get paid again in this
last pay day there was last week, So the next
(31:32):
fifteen days now they'll either have to find more money
or not. But the military rallies around its people and
make sure food banks have been open.
Speaker 10 (31:40):
Food banks have been pouring in.
Speaker 9 (31:41):
I know, but people do slip through the cracks unfortunately,
and it's an unfortunate situation.
Speaker 2 (31:47):
Love talking to your brother. Best damn military analyst in
to business, Mike lion Strid, Major in the Army. Appreciate
you coming on. You go, have yourself a good day.
We'll talk to you next week.
Speaker 10 (31:53):

The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
Yesterday I played you guys a hilarious clip from the Brits.
This couple I follow who travel across America and just
love all the cool things that's America. And we talked
about BUCkies because BUCkies is in America and America's buckiess
never been to one. You need to go to one. Well,
guess what, They went back to BUCkies because they failed
the first time guys.
Speaker 12 (33:43):
We went back to BUCkies because we've got so many
complaints saying we didn't do it right. So we've got
everything that you suggested. That's something you're missing.
Speaker 13 (33:51):
Fever and nuggets we were looking for. Me were like,
try on quickly, come on, We're going to jim for
a reason.
Speaker 6 (34:01):
Girl.
Speaker 1 (34:01):
It's like sugar coated cereal.
Speaker 12 (34:03):
Oh wow, that is so good.
Speaker 13 (34:07):
So bad for you, but they're so good.
Speaker 12 (34:09):
Peach cobbler. So many people said to get this, so
I'm going to try it as well, so sweet, it
tastes like it tastes like apple pie and peach pie.
I really don't want to like apple grumble, but peach grumble,
you're like that. Pecans roasted pecans. I saw them making
this and they looked pretty good, didn't they. Then a
highly requested Texas Cheese steak burrito. I've already eaten mine
(34:32):
in like two bites, literally two bites.
Speaker 13 (34:35):
And I also got a breakfast brit which I'm quite
excited about.
Speaker 12 (34:38):
So, guys, did we miss anything else?
Speaker 1 (34:41):
Nuggets are falling out the nugget.
Speaker 2 (34:43):
It's not the beaver nuggets. I think it's hilarious, and
we've got more from them. Later because after that they
went to a Best Superstar. If you've never been to
one of those, it's incredible. Or Shiels also an amazing thing.
But it's just funny to listen to the Brits as
they come over here, because again I lived in England
(35:04):
for on and off for a decade and throughout Europe
and no, they have nothing like this. They have nothing.
I mean they have you know, Herod's at one time
was this amazing place, but they got nothing like BUCkies
and they've got nothing like Bass Superstore. Oh my lord.
Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four, twenty three
(35:25):
at Chad Benson Show. Is your ex your Insta, your YouTube,
your Facebook and more. If you missing the show, make
sure you grab the podcast will be live tonight, going over
all of the rest of the stuff that happened throughout
the day that we didn't get to right here on
The Chad Benson Show. Coming up, hour number two of
the program, more on Yes government shutdown. We got some
of that. Air traffic controllers what they're going through. It's
(35:47):
very interesting listening to a trainer talk about all of
the stuff that's going on in the air traffic controller world,
especially when it comes to the with the new hires
that they have and the struggles that they're going through.
So that we have a new segment call this is
why Trump with some hilarious, wacky once again Democrat fails.
(36:08):
Talk a bit about that as well, plus AI fooling
a lot of people when it comes to the government
shutdown and snapped a bunch of other stuff to get
to us. Well, I'm sure we'll slide into if you
missing show the podcast hour up two straight ahead, Chad
Benson Chat.
Speaker 1 (36:22):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (36:52):
As we head to the polls today, know this, Yes
Trump is on the ballot, even though he's not on
the ballot. That being said, one of the things it
is absolutely everywhere on the ballot for tobility.
Speaker 14 (37:06):
Seven and ten Americans say they're spending more money on
groceries than they were a year ago, while six and
ten say they're spending more on utilities. Respondents to the
ABC News Washington Post, ipso's Paul blamed tariffs. Fifty five
percent of all political affiliations said tariffs hurt their family's
own financial situation.
Speaker 2 (37:26):
Inflation, economy cost snap benefits right now, not there as
we know. We're going to talk about that in a second.
But cost is so important in life. Where still a
check book society, And damn it, that check book is
on the struggle bus for a ton of people, for
(37:49):
a lot of people, for a lot, a lot, a
lot of people, and the government shutdown is not helping.
One in eight Americans count on Snap in some way,
shape or form, and it's not there. The government shutdown.
It's not about Snap. Although Snap has become the Snap
has become the focal point because well it's it's gone now,
(38:12):
the immediacy of it, it's not here. Okay. So the
effect is now people getting their quotes for Obamacare ACA,
whatever you want to call it. That's a sticker shock.
But that hasn't hit yet, right, that's a few months away.
This hit now, this hit hard.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
Under order from a federal judge, the Trump administration now
says it will tap all four billion dollars remaining in
Snap's emergency funds to cover roughly half of the food
program for November, but warning it will take a few
weeks or even several months to pay out, leaving tens
of millions of Americans in limbo like Simone Wilkes.
Speaker 15 (38:54):
Has been days where the kids E and al Jaz
survive off water.
Speaker 3 (38:58):
We first met Simone, a working single mom, a week
ago when she was already skipping meals to feed her
two young boys.
Speaker 2 (39:05):
Now people are like, why does it take so damn
long for this to kick in? Okay, So states still
need to process the allocations and transmit the data to
the USDA. The EBT, that's the electronic benefit transfer, must
be reloaded, reverified, and tested for fraud and error. The
(39:26):
USDA then schedules a staggered release date by state to
prevent overloading the system and retailers that right there, the
catch up alone, not ketchup, but catchup alone can take
up to two to four weeks. Let's cut it in
(39:46):
say three. Then you've got backlog of applications, especially now
potentially with the shutdown in place and the fact that
some people may or I may not be working. They're
saying probably a month to two month before people catch up.
And remember this is not a full snap benefit. This
(40:11):
is a portion of what they had. So they had.
So the way that this works is, let's say the
fund is ten billion dollars. We use quick and easy
math here didn't last hour. I'm doing now because quick
and these math works. You got emergency fund that has
four million in it, five million, whatever it is, and
(40:32):
the fund only has seven million in it. You pay
that seven I mean seven billion in it. You pay
that seven billion. Then you take three billion to make
up the what would be the ten billion needed? Okay,
that makes up the shortfall. There haven't just to take
what's left in the emergency fund, which is not everything.
So you're gonna lose half your benefits. But again, a
(40:54):
reminder that this is not about snap. Snap is the
immediacy of what people are feeling. This. This is about
healthcare and the cost of health care.
Speaker 3 (41:04):
Democrats holding firm in the shutdown to force Republicans to
come to the table on health insurance with premiums set
to skyrocket for millions of Americans and calling on the
Trump administration to keep snap afloat, but the administration saying
there's little to no money left. President Trump promising he'll
negotiate on healthcare after the government reopens.
Speaker 4 (41:24):
We can fix it with the Democrats. All they have
to do is let the country open and we'll fix it.
Speaker 3 (41:30):
Democrats saying they don't believe him understandable.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
I don't know why. Well, see, here's the crazy thing
about this. Okay, you don't believe the Republicans and Republicans
no offense, not sure. I believe everything you guys say.
I'm just going to put it out there. I believe
very little of anything that people in DC say. They
may want it to be true, but they realize it's
never going to be true. But they're going to tell
(41:55):
you that anyways. It's called blow and smoke. That is correct.
But Democrats, the issue of the expense of this lands
at your feet because of the ACA. Right, you passed
it without any Republicans voting for it, and the famous
(42:17):
saying from Nancy's like, let's pass it so we could
see it. In it it was supposed to fix health
care costs from rising, and it did none of the sort.
In fact, it made healthcare rise even faster. So now
you're trying to what keep the subsidies which you extended
(42:45):
and then increased during COVID, And now we're in a
situation where they're going to run out and we're going
to see the real cost of Obamacare. That lands at
your feet. Republicans. You've done very little to address this issue.
You outside of the usual bolony, which is we're going
to make it more free market and eliminate waste, fraud
(43:07):
and abuse and you know whatever else they're going to
say that it's going to make you feel like, Okay,
that's just those are words. That's not a plan. So
that's what this is about. But the immediacy of snap
is why the government shutdown is feeling. Really the eyes
(43:28):
of the media and the world on it, because what
is it. One in eight people rely on it. Sixteen
million children rely on it in some way, shape or form.
That's going to be interesting because the immediacy of what
we're feeling and seeing is one thing. But also because
you have an election today, the bizarre mid terms of
(43:53):
the midterms, that is getting people to say, okay, well,
what the hell's going on there? First and foremost, it
is a you know, some people say, is this is
about Trump. Everything is about Trump. Everything is about Trump. Okay,
So know that he's not on the ballot, but he's
(44:15):
absolutely on the ballot. As we all know.
Speaker 5 (44:19):
This is the first big test of American's mood politically
after the reelection of Donald Trump last year. And so
there are a lot of folks who are going to
be looking at these races as a referendum on this
current administration and this current president.
Speaker 2 (44:36):
Yeah, that's true, it's possibility. But also some people may say,
I think he's doing everything's supposed to. It would always
Trump is going to voke emotion. For ninety five percent
of America that follows politics, Trump will evoke some sort
of visceral reaction, whether it's happiness or anger. That that
(44:58):
is true. They always talk about, well, first of all,
most elections that take place, will you know, whether it's
midterms or the midterm of the midterms, there's always that chance,
because we're a fickle bunch, that we are going to
push back on the party in power, especially when the
party in power has everything. Even though for the most part,
(45:21):
nothing here today outside of California and a few other
races have any kind of real effect on what takes
place in DC, but it is a message that if
the Republicans really do well today, right, whether you know,
(45:41):
win some Seers manages to pull out an upset in
Virginia and you get the Republican in New Jersey that wins.
All of a sudden, you look up and you're like, whooh,
or if you know in California you've got Prop fifty,
if that was somehow defeated, you look and say, this
is going the way the Republicans wants. Now the exact opposite.
If the Democrats go and absolutely smoke today, win the
(46:06):
Prop fifty going away, have two wins. When it comes
to the big governor races in New Jersey, which is
going to be the hot one because it's the closest,
and I think Spamberger is gonna win in Virginia. Well
then all of a sudden you look up and you think, okay,
maybe you got to come back to the table. So
this is going to be again, it's not a referendum
(46:26):
the way that you were going to find the mid
terms next year potentially. What it is, though, is it's
a bit of a you know, it's a bit of
a bell weather of what may be coming. Okay. The
one though for that a lot of people are paying
attention to is obviously redistricting. After what Texas did, California's like, well,
(46:47):
we're going to do this. They've thrown hundreds of millions
of dollars at Prop fifty, which looks like it's going
to win. That being said, as far as the national
side of stuff, which would mean Congress and seats, this
is what people are paying attention to.
Speaker 5 (47:02):
This is the biggest chance that Democrats have to combat
what we've seen in some of these Republican led states
where they have redrawn those maps in favor of Republicans.
Those are places like Texas and Missouri, North Carolina and Ohio.
If they are successful and if the Yes campaign for
Prop fifty wins, we will see California redraw maps to
(47:25):
design as many as five pickup opportunities for Democrats in
that state.
Speaker 2 (47:31):
But it still doesn't matter because the Republicans are leading
the way in that. Although I will say the ones
in Texas, while they're probably going to get those five seats,
those seats are going to be much closer. And what
you do is you make that pool and because of
the changing demographics, instead of it being you know what
(47:52):
it is now, maybe you get to you know, fifty
one nine and all of a sudden you could face something.
It's not going to happen this time. So the Republicans
are definitely gonna pick up some seats here, but the
California one because it's not just about California. It's also
about the might of we're gonna stand up against Trump
(48:12):
and the strength of Gavin Newsom. Let me know what
you think. Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four,
twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is your ex your Insta,
YouTube and more. Tonight we're gonna be live right around
eight o'clock Eastern. We're gonna have all of what we
have election wise, we possibly get our hands on and
talk about those, among other things. Ask Chapter when you
(48:34):
guys talk to my friends Chapter, and we talk about
healthcare here all the time. And the reason is simple, healthcare.
It's insane the cost of it. Now, when it comes
to something like Medicare, what happens your Medicare plan, you
like goes away, and all of a sudden you look
up and you're like, what am I gonna do? Well,
you call a Medicare agent. They're gonna put you in
something that's gonna get them the most commissions. More than
likely that's not what you want. You're gonna talk to
(48:57):
my friends at Chapter. They don't work for the government
or big insurance companies that work for you. Chapter compares
every Medicare plan nationwide. They find the best fit for you.
On average, Senior Safe eleven hundred dollars a year working
with Chapter and great news. Their service costs you nothing.
It's free, and you'll have your plans, all of them
within twenty minutes to look at and compare. It is awesome.
(49:17):
No gimmicks, no pressure, honest advice from experts to no
medicare inside and out. Dial pound to fifty, say keyword
medicare plan. It's that simple, pound to fifty, keyword medicare plan.
Talk to Chapter. I trust them. You should as well.
Pound to fifty say keyword medicare plan for Chapter. This
is the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (49:47):
You're listening to the Chad Benson Show if you're.
Speaker 2 (49:50):
Not seeing any of the videos of what's going on
at their airports. I mean it is chaos right now.
Chaos not just the TA say, but air traffic controllers.
And this is an air traffic controller who, let's just say,
has been through one of these and is kind of
(50:10):
giving a not such an angry view or anything like that,
just giving you a here's a matter of fact of
what's going on right now.
Speaker 13 (50:19):
I'm an air traffic controller who's not being paid right now.
Speaker 16 (50:21):
During this government shutdown, And unfortunately, this isn't the first
shutdown I've gone through. The twenty eighteen to twenty nineteen
shutdown happened when I was a brand new trainee for
the FAA, just a few months in and I had
moved from Ohio to California for my first facility near
the Bay Area, very high cost of living. Unfortunately, I
didn't have any friends or family or support network to
help me as I received back to back paychecks of
(50:41):
zero dollars.
Speaker 2 (50:43):
And if you didn't see last week, they got their
zero dollar paychecks the air traffic controllers.
Speaker 16 (50:49):
Those were some difficult financial times. And fast forward seven years,
I'm looking right now at this shutdown. At my facility,
we have five trainees, four of them are from out
of state and are in the same thing situation I
was in during the eighteen to nineteen shutdown.
Speaker 13 (51:03):
Well, they don't have that support network to help.
Speaker 16 (51:05):
Them as they look at the prospect of getting paid
a zero dollar paycheck.
Speaker 13 (51:09):
My facility is also very young.
Speaker 16 (51:11):
Sixty two percent of my controllers have been in for
less than two years.
Speaker 13 (51:15):
That includes trainee time, not certified time less than two
years with the FAA.
Speaker 16 (51:19):
They haven't had time to save up money to weather
a shutdown like.
Speaker 2 (51:22):
This, and apparently now that's what you have to do.
You have to build up a emergency fund. Not because
the emergency comes because of something that happened to you.
It's because government can't get their act together, and you
should always have some sort of an emergency fund. Nobody's
saying you shouldn't, but it's not the kind of emergency
(51:47):
that you cost, if that makes sense. This is a
self inflicted government emergency, and self inflicted meaning you work
for the government and therefore it's been inflicted upon you.
Speaker 16 (52:00):
I'm the president of my facility and I'm also a trainer,
and a lot of the times I would have controllers
come to me and say, hey, what's the FA policy
on this? Or if I have this traffic complex situation,
how do I resolve it.
Speaker 13 (52:11):
I'm not being asked those questions so much anymore.
Speaker 8 (52:13):
Now.
Speaker 16 (52:13):
People are coming to me and asking do you know
of any restaurants that are offering free neils to federal
employees during the shutdown?
Speaker 2 (52:19):
Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson Show, Is Your ex and more?
If you miss any show credit the podcast right here
on the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 16 (52:28):
Do you know of any institutions that are giving interest
free loans during the shutdown? My controllers are having a
difficult time focusing on the operation when they're just trying
to survive.
Speaker 13 (52:38):
We need to end the shutdown.
Speaker 2 (52:39):
Yes we do, Yes we do. And is it going
to end today? Probably not? Could it end tomorrow? Better
chance than today? When will it end? Great question? So
Polly Market has a twelve percent chance it'll end by
the seventh. November A through eleventh is a twenty three
(53:02):
percent chance. Then you get past November fifteenth and it
shoots up to a fifty seven percent chance. So, yes,
we need it to end. The money that's out there
is saying it is after the fifteenth. And could you
imagine just for a second, all right, I just want
you guys to imagine this. What does Thanksgiving look like
(53:25):
if we're still in the midst of a government shutdown?
What's travel look like in the midst of a government shutdown?
What do food lines look like in the midst of
a government shutdown? Could you imagine what that would look like?
Now I don't think we're going to get there, but
as we've talked about, just because they flip the switch
(53:48):
and they can get back to whatever it is they're
going to get back to. As far as passing a bill,
what does it look like, subsidies, et cetera. It doesn't
mean that overnight this is going to magically disappear. There's
going to be issues here for the next month or so,
and the longer it goes, the tougher it's going to be.
This holiday season. Coming up a new segment of the
(54:11):
program called This Is Why Trump Will do That straight Ahead,
among other things. It is The Chad Benson.
Speaker 8 (54:17):
Show, then Chad Benson.
Speaker 1 (54:19):
Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (54:42):
Democrats while you're looking today during election Day? Was that
Duran Duran?
Speaker 12 (54:47):
Right?
Speaker 2 (54:48):
Was that Duran Duran? It was it another band that
they put together and they have the power station of
one of those bands. Was that them? Okay? Okay, So
Duran Duran did do Election Day?
Speaker 13 (54:58):
All right?
Speaker 2 (54:58):
So I thought, so it is election day, and I've
been saying the referendum against Trump, Well, guess what the
referendum in New York is against the Democrats, the status quo,
the oldies but not quite so goodies, the corporatist and whatnot.
Now Mandannie is you know, he's young, he knows how
(55:22):
to use tictac. You knows how to use tictac. That's
what I'm telling you, Jed, it's tik tok. I'm kidding guys.
And it's very interesting because everybody thinks he's a giant
referendum against Trump. There's always some sort of referendum against Trump.
Welcome to the world we live in. But nobody's pointing
out the referendum against the Republican Party, right, They're out
of touch with cultural issues on a daily basis, Democrats.
Speaker 17 (55:44):
More Americans say the Democratic Party is out of touch
with the concerns of most people in the US today
than say the same about Trump and the Republican Party.
Speaker 2 (55:55):
Yeah, because while Trump is a blowhard at times, so
what Trump says stuff, the reality of the way that
he governs, which you know, I know he's are fascist,
But the reality of this is he looks and he says,
are we going to do this, this, and this? They're
gonna try to do this, this and this. Doesn't mean
it's gonna come off. No, it's gonna piss people off, yes,
But there's common sense in a lot of what it
(56:16):
is that he's trying to do. And at least he's
talking about understanding. That's why I say, Madonnie's got something
going on when he talks about affordability. Again, we don't
have to agree with him and his communistic, socialistic whatever
it is that everybody's pitching, you know, but this is
a referendum against not only the affordability thing, but also
(56:38):
the reality thing, the reality thing, the cultural issue that
plays a huge role in this. When we talk about
Trump so much of why he won again. Yes, the
economy was a huge issue, in immigration, massive issue, but
so was common sense. And Trump was able to drag
(57:02):
the Democrats into a world of fighting over cultural issues
that they were always going to lose on because it's
not common sense. And ninety percent of Democrats, ninety five
percent of Democrats aren't in the same wacky world that
these activists live in that seem to control the Democratic Party,
(57:25):
which brings us to these two hilarious stories where I
continue to say, and this is why Trump. Where do
we start? How about soccer? Okay, so soccer, You've got
the MLS, but you have the n WSL, which is
the Women's Soccer League. Angel City FC is like the
hip team, right because it's owned by you know, several stars,
(57:49):
and they really poured money into it and it's the
It's Angel City and all of this stuff. Well, they're
a little bit of a struggle this year. Well they
have a girl, a woman, a lady, a womb havever
on their team, and she Elizabeth Eddie wrote an essay
about men in women's sports, in particular the need to
(58:10):
maybe have some gender tests done on some women when
it comes to them playing in the league, which of
course sent her teammates through the roof.
Speaker 18 (58:23):
Going into this, I'm a little bit nervous because I
think it's a big job to represent your team and
speak for your team and not just that speak for
others who this will be important to. We've all obviously
seen the article that was written in The New York
Post earlier this week, so I really want to start
off by saying that that article does not speak for
(58:45):
this team in this locker room. I've had a lot
of combos with my teammates in the past few days,
and they are hurt and they are harmed by the article,
and also they are disgusted by some of the things
that were said in the article.
Speaker 2 (59:00):
Oh, for God's sake, that's Sarah Gordon who's hurt by this.
You have a differing of opinion, right, you don't guy
with you don't want a guy with a schwantz playing
in your league. Okay, that's fair. Right, So again this
why trump cultural issues, normal things in life, where anybody
(59:21):
would say no, you can't have that. That's ridiculous. This
is a co ed softball Okay. So you've got them
coming out and they're attacking their teammate because she felt
like they attacked apparently them and it's continue.
Speaker 18 (59:37):
And we don't agree with the things written for a
plethora of reasons, but mostly the undertones come across as
transphobic and racist as well. The article calls for genetic
testing on certain players, and it has a photo of
an African player as a headline, and that's very harmful
and to me, it's inherently racist because to single out
(59:57):
this community based on them looking or being different is
absolutely a problem. And as a mixed woman with a
black family, I'm devastated by the undertones of this article.
Speaker 2 (01:00:11):
Why well, because it makes it seem like people from Africa.
There have been some questions, again, this is the problem
with the Democrat Party. I guarantee you not one of
them outside of this girl probably voted for Trump, and
I'm not even sure if she did. But this is
the problem with that modern Democratic party. You have now
turned this into an issue that you lose on because
(01:00:33):
you have this bizarre purity test that if a dude
named Michael becomes Michelle and wants to play sports against women,
that somehow you have to make sure that it's okay
for everybody to know this is definitely a woman. Disregard
the schwantz okay, disregard what your eyes are telling you
(01:00:59):
in the reality of the situation. And it's silly because
you're allowing a very small, tiny, itty bitty portion and
segment of society to control you. Continue.
Speaker 19 (01:01:12):
For me personally, when I think of la and I
think of Angel City, I think of a place that
was founded upon inclusivity and love for all people. That's
what our locker room is, that's what our staff is,
that's what our fan base is. Angel City is a
place for everyone. It always will be. That's how it
(01:01:33):
was from the beginning. That's how it always will be.
Speaker 6 (01:01:36):
Period.
Speaker 19 (01:01:37):
And I think this situation, you know, there's Lisa, you
kind of touched on it. There's an element of timing
to it where this feels like another really big challenge
that we have to go through as a team on
top of an already really challenging year. And it's definitely
not the note that we as a group want to
(01:01:57):
end on. And so I just want everyone to know
that we're doing our best in the locker room to
preserve respect and belonging on this team, and we look
forward to ending the season on as positive of a
note as possible.
Speaker 2 (01:02:13):
There you go, wow, because that's what you're founded on.
You know what, you guys should be founded on playing
good soccer. That's what we should do. What did we
find this team on. We didn't want to have a
bunch of of chicks that sucked, right, We wanted we
wanted to have a bunch of women that could get
together and try to win games. Because there spent a
(01:02:35):
lot of money on this stuff. What if you started
a team it was a chicks team. First thing I
do is go out and get fourteen guys and tell them,
all right, ladies, here's your here's the name of who
you are. Now, okay, Chad, you'll be called Chad Wiena what.
Oh heavens, my buddy Kenny got to give him a
(01:02:59):
cool name, call him Catherine. Oh it was great, man.
I can't believe they're forty two and oh with one
hundred and ninety five thousand goals. This is why you lose, okay,
this is why. And you've allowed yourself to be dragged
(01:03:22):
into these ridiculous fights on cultural issues where nobody outside
of a few activists live. And this isn't about whether
or not trans people should exist. No problem as an adult,
and you're not hurting anybody. You do your own thing.
God bless you. Okay, God bless you. Go and do
(01:03:46):
your own thing. I got zero problems with that. I
want you to be happy, I want you to be healthy.
But I'm also not going to suspend disbelief. Okay, so
don't ask me to do that. Don't ask me. I'm
raising daughters. I will tell you right now. My fifteen
year old, if she was playing against my son in
(01:04:08):
today's world, he would absolutely truck her. And yes, if
he decided to call himself Jackuena, heat still truck her. Okay.
This isn't about whether or not they deserve the same rights.
They do. This isn't about whether or not they deserve
the opportunity they do. We should treat them with love
(01:04:31):
and care like we treat everybody else. This is also
about the rights of the young women who are playing.
This is also about the rights of the young women
who have to change. And I bring that up because
this is a woman here again. This is why Trump
who had an issue. Her name is Tis Hymen. She's
(01:04:57):
a singer, she's a songwriter. She was at Gold's Gym
in LA when all of a sudden she was kicked
out because there was a man inside of the women's
locker room and they kicked her out. She was very
upset about that, and she said a lot of stuff
(01:05:19):
and it was filmed. Of course, didn't you went to
your car. This's what you had to say.
Speaker 15 (01:05:22):
I just had the worst experience ever at the gym,
at Gold's gym, and I think this is probably happening
that gym's across America. We're like trans women are going
into the women's locker room and not really caring about
how women feel about it.
Speaker 2 (01:05:39):
And it's really hurtful.
Speaker 20 (01:05:41):
Yo, Like, how you gonna say you want to be
a woman or that you are a woman, but you
don't give a how women feel today. I was naked
in the locker room. I turned around and there's a
man there and boys like boy clothes, lip gloss, standing
there looking at me.
Speaker 2 (01:05:56):
I'm butt naked.
Speaker 20 (01:05:57):
So the first thing I think is maybe there's a
work doing here, maybe mister son. I say the word sir,
to say, sir, what are you doing in here?
Speaker 2 (01:06:04):
He goes, don't can talk to me.
Speaker 20 (01:06:06):
I'm a woman.
Speaker 2 (01:06:06):
I have a right to be in here. She was
a little upset. Okay, now again, she's pissed because she's
a grown woman inside of a locker room with somebody
who identifies as a woman, who in close you may
identify as a woman, and you may get away with
a little bit more, but when it comes to the
locker room, nothing about what you have going on, says woman.
Speaker 20 (01:06:27):
Immediately, I'm pissed because I'm butt naked.
Speaker 2 (01:06:30):
I feel violated. I feel like weird, like.
Speaker 20 (01:06:34):
I don't want to deal with this right. So the
girls are walking in and they're seeing the commotion and
they actually chiming and say, you know, I don't know
why he's in here.
Speaker 2 (01:06:41):
He's not supposed to be here.
Speaker 20 (01:06:43):
And then I talk to the people that work at
Goals Jim, and they don't really have anything to do.
They're just like, oh, we can follow a report about
an incident. Report what dog is going on? Like, listen,
how can you say you a woman or you want
to be a woman and.
Speaker 2 (01:06:57):
You don't care how women feel.
Speaker 20 (01:06:59):
That's nothing more manly than not giving up all about
how women feel. I'd like to think.
Speaker 2 (01:07:05):
And she's right. So one thing I've always said, you know,
you want to make sure that this person over here
feels respected, right, Yet you never ask the women how
they feel about it and if they would feel uncomfortable
or not about it. No, it's just about where we're
going to have to do this, and that's not what
we should be about.
Speaker 13 (01:07:28):
Right.
Speaker 2 (01:07:28):
If we want everybody to have their voice, they should
all have their voice. Again, this is not about disrespecting.
It's about having some common sense, some decency. And this, again, democrats,
is why you fail to win, and you're terrified to
say anything about it because you're afraid that they're going
to come after you. By the way, tiss here is
a lesbian and doesn't care your trance, but does ask
(01:07:53):
some questions like, hey, when does it actually begin when
you come in our locker room. Do you got to
go to the full Monty or not? And I've always said, man,
you go full MONTI then you can do what you want.
At that point in time, you've made the commitment. But Democrats,
this is why you continue to lose, because you pick
(01:08:13):
the wrong horse over and over again, and you allow
this to be your lost leader when it comes to
taking you where you think it needs to be, and
you're more concerned about some sort of cultural argument you
think you're going to win because it makes you feel good,
and in reality, you lose ninety percent of the people.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
(01:08:34):
three at Chad Benson shows your ext your Insta, YouTube

Speaker 1 (01:09:57):
Fronting with Scissors sounds great compared to this.
Speaker 2 (01:10:00):
Same as we continue with our reddish friends who have
gone the BUCkies, not once, but twice. They've decided from there, which,
by the way, I love. After BUCkies, they went to
the Tennessee Balls Oklahoma game, which they thought was amazing.
Then they decided, hey, what else can we do with
That's very America. So I've done college football. They've done
BUCkies not once but twice because they had to go
(01:10:21):
back because people were like, yeah, you didn't do it right,
you gotta go do this, this and this? How about this?
Nothing more American than best bro shops.
Speaker 12 (01:10:28):
You best believe we just went inside a Bass Pro
shop for the first time ever. It was so exciting
and I'm about to show you what we got up
to in there.
Speaker 19 (01:10:35):
I also got a.
Speaker 1 (01:10:39):
From I don't have words. What are we looking at
right now?
Speaker 21 (01:10:42):
Well?
Speaker 18 (01:10:43):
Look at.
Speaker 1 (01:10:46):
This is scary? Sure, look at there's the size of
that big boy. Is this the actual size of the moose?
Speaker 8 (01:10:52):
Guys?
Speaker 2 (01:10:52):
It's so wow.
Speaker 14 (01:10:54):
It's okay.
Speaker 12 (01:10:56):
Now you can see the pure scale of this place.
Speaker 22 (01:11:01):
Guys.
Speaker 1 (01:11:02):
I have fallen in love with this Columbus as a
commas unhap what do you think?
Speaker 20 (01:11:08):
I just found a.
Speaker 1 (01:11:08):
Better shaped hat?
Speaker 21 (01:11:09):
Guys?
Speaker 1 (01:11:10):
Which one was better that one? Or this one? Which one?
Speaker 14 (01:11:13):
Do you think this one?
Speaker 13 (01:11:15):
Ten times?
Speaker 1 (01:11:16):
And also James's one?
Speaker 2 (01:11:17):
Let's pretty sick. If you've never been to a Bass
Pro Shop or a BUCkies, you're missing out it's everything
that's America. I remember going to the so I'd been
to a couple of bass pro shops and they're amazing,
but we went to I think it's the first one.
It's in Springfield, Missouri, which is where the owner originates from.
And I'm going to tell you this is not something
(01:11:38):
where you pop in and pop out. Expect to be
there for a while. And we were there for about
five or six hours. It was the most incredible thing,
and it was blocks long. It was insane, and the
Brits are finding out America does stuff in a crazy
awesome way. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is your ex your Insta,
(01:11:59):
your ute Tube and Facebook remember tonight join us live.
I think Jim Kennedy from the Canadian Institute Pobly Policy
Research will probably join us as well, talk about the
election results in all things politics after today and you
can catch us, of course on the YouTube channel right
here on the Chat Benson Show. Coming up our number
three of the program. Buddy Mike Glines joins the program.
(01:12:20):
I'm going to talk about Nigeria. Really are we going there?
We're not going there? Talk to him about that, among
other things, and get his thoughts about Dick Cheney passing.
On top of that, we're going to talk about obviously
big election day referendum we've been talking about, is it
on the Democrats of the Republicans In certain areas it
can be a bit on both, I think, talk a
bit about that as well. We're also talk more about
(01:12:42):
the government shutdown and a bunch of other good stuff,
including a little what's trending for you? Oh yeah, baby,
if you've missed you the show Seaman and you grabbed
the podcast tonight live right around eight o'clock Eastern on
the old YouTube Join us hour number three Chat Benson
Show Straight Ahead.
Speaker 1 (01:13:01):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:13:31):
The election day goes on the next mayor. I'm predicting
of New York City, zorn Mondamie. He is a answer
to a question that the Democrats don't want to have answered,
which is what the hell comes next? Now? Look, if
(01:13:56):
I'm the Republicans, I want him to win. But the
Democrats they're fighting harder than the Republicans at times. And
then I go and I watch, you know, somebody's but
we can't allow, Why why put it? Look, now you've
got your chance, America to get a look at what
he wants to do. Now you've got your chance to
(01:14:17):
look at what socialism might look like. But there are
so many things in between him and getting what he
wants in the world of socialism, you know, for the
free grocery stores, to the you know, all the stuff. Now,
could he get some rank control of the possibilities there?
There's no doubt. Is he going to make things more
(01:14:38):
affordable for people? Now? Probably not? Probably not. But now
you'll have a chance and take a look. And i
see the Republicans fighting against it. I'm like, shouldn't you
want this? This is your chance to put it to
the test. But the Democrats are more worried than the
Republicans because the old guard versus the new Guard, which
(01:14:59):
is they have their own hips. They get on the
tic tac and they do funny dances and stuff. I'm
not like that. It is that kind of battle that's
going on in the Democrat Party right now. Hi can't
endor somebody like this guy. He's all like dancing and
making the loud noises and what not. There now for
(01:15:22):
Trump not on the ballot today, but always on the
ballot because you're the president.
Speaker 5 (01:15:26):
You can't underestimate anti Trump sentiment in some of these races.
That's a mobilizing factor, not only in Virginia and New Jersey,
but it's also probably a part of why we've seen
the rise of a candidate like Zoran Mam Donnie right,
who is sort of the antithesis of Trump in many ways.
Speaker 2 (01:15:51):
Yes he is, but he's also stolen from Trump. He's
stolen a lot of Trump's rhetoric, right, a lot of
his populism. And then what he did is he took
the exact same script and he just started just crossing outlines,
say all right there, and instead of governmentship problem, will
(01:16:11):
put billionaires into your problem. What instead of immigrants being
the problem, We'll put you know, big corporations. And that's
what he's done, and it's worked. And you've got a
bunch of young kids who come out of college and
they're pissed off. Why is that they got a mortgage
(01:16:32):
payment without a mortgage meaning their college degree. They're coming
out at a time when AI is just basically told them, hey,
you know what, why don't you guys sit back here,
We're going to handle this from here on out. And
they're looking around, going, all right, there's nine of us
and we live in a one bathroom, no bedroom apartment.
But the bathroom's not actually here. It's just a closet.
(01:16:53):
We all live in a closet, and it costs us
seven thousand dollars a month. And he's saying the word
that matters more to anybody else, uffordability. Now, put it
to the test. Put it to the test. Let's see
what it looks like. I think he's gonna get in
there and he's gonna find out whoa politics is different.
He's gonna get kicked in the grundle on a few occasions,
(01:17:14):
look up and go, I better figure out how to pivot.
But the one thing he has that the elderly democrats
don't have is time. Time. Let's see how it work. Eh,
we'll call it our I've always called this the situation,
like this is my test. You fish. So if you've
(01:17:35):
ever had saltwater tanks, and I've had several of them,
I've had all kinds of animals. We don't talk about that. Always.
Here you go and you get everything set up right right,
you have to or at the pH toward the balance.
Want everything right, Yeah, I have the whole nine yards salt.
Want to make sure it's perfect temperature, the balance of
the salt water and everything. You want to make sure
it's absolutely spatan. But you're not going to toss your
(01:17:58):
thousand dollars fish in there. Five dollars fish. You're gonna
get a two ninety nine Testerer fish. Throw that sucker
in there, and if it survives, well, then you put
everything else in there that will eventually eat it. Treat
this like that, just letting you guys know. That's the
way I would go with it. But I also continue
to say it is as much an issue for the Democrats,
(01:18:21):
if not more so, than the Republicans. The Republicans have
their problem. They've got a huge problem, and that huge
problem is the war from within. If you're not paying
attention to this Normally, I don't get into this kind
of stuff, but I find it to be kind of
hilarious because Tucker Carlson had on Nick Fuentes. If you
(01:18:44):
don't know who Nick Fuentes is, he's a young kid,
the Croy Purse, right, I mean, he's this I think
he's like twenty seven, and Tucker in the past that
says he's a gay guy that lives in his basement
and he's they thought for a while that he was
a fan, and there's all the stuff. I mean, it's
the usual. It's high scho bs. But he's been banned
from like every platform out and then Elon came back,
(01:19:09):
and then October seventh happened, and then all of a sudden,
a lot of what he because he was a maga
guy for a while and he's not mag anymore. And
he feels that the young in particular, and I will
say this, my little brother and his friends, who are
all in their mid twenties, aren't fans of Trump the
way they once work. They feel like they that he's
(01:19:30):
abandoned them. And so Tucker has this guy on and
this guy again. I have been very critical of Nick
Quentz for a bunch of horrific you know, Holocaust denier, Hitler, lover,
et cetera. I think a lot of that also happens
to be it's great shock for people. But then he
(01:19:51):
got deplatformed and then he was working with Kanye right,
It's just insane, which brings us to Tucker, and Tucker
is the the most powerful individual in conservative media is
Tucker Carlson and Tucker because he had what he did, well,
(01:20:11):
look what he did to Ted Cruz. So what Ted
Cruz is a big boy, he can handle it right.
And Tucker has been very critical of Israel over the
last several months. Not always been that way, but he's
become more and more that way. And he is critical
(01:20:35):
of the power of the party that Benjamin Nett and
Yahoo leads and the influence they have over America, not
the Jewish people. I want you to keep that in mind.
So having Nick On pissed off everybody in conservative media
(01:21:00):
that you know is kissing Israel's ass twenty four to
seven because they're hoping somehow that Israel's going to do
something for him, give him money. I don't know that.
Being said, this weekend, I think it was the Republican
Jewish Coalition meeting. I think it was in DC and
they had the usuals up there and it was just
basically destroyed Tucker. In fact, after Tucker had on this kid,
(01:21:23):
Nick Foantes And again I think Nick for the most part,
is a blurrd. He is talented, he is smart, but
he lives in a world of shock and awe and
saying ridiculous things that I don't think he believes half
of it, and I think eventually, you know, it has
its shelf life. That being said, he has him on
(01:21:45):
and he doesn't tear him apart. Everybody was pissed about it.
So Tucker's now become enemy number one amongst Macca. According
to the Republican Jewish Coalition, this is Randy Fine who
has given himself the moniker the Hebrew hammer.
Speaker 6 (01:22:05):
Today, Tucker Carlson is the most dangerous Andrew Semite in America.
Multiple speakers have talked about the rise of anti Semitism
on the right, but it is not enough to speak
in platitudes or generalities about the fight. We must call
evil by its name. It's chosen to take take on
(01:22:26):
the mantle of leader of a modern day Hitler youth,
to broadcast and feature those who celebrate the Nazis, those
who call for the extermination of Israel, to defend Tamas,
to even criticize President Trump for stopping Iron's nuclear ambitions.
Speaker 2 (01:22:44):
Yeah, well, they were never going to get a nuclear
bomb and use it against us, But whatever, how dare
you criticize Trump? First of all, this is this is
This is the thing that pisses me off. And when
I talk about this, because I look, I stand out
here by myself when I talk about Israel. There's no
safety net for me, all right. I am not afraid.
(01:23:06):
And this has nothing to do with Israel. It has
all to do with bb net, Yahoo and Smodrich and
Benkevere and the likes who want to see more death
and destruction and to wipe it all out. By the way,
that guy Randy Fine Douche Canoe extraordinaire, he thinks that
they should nuke Palestine and starve them all to death.
(01:23:28):
Those are his words. So I'm not going to take
anything from you. Hebrew Hammer Dynammer having conversations is amazing.
The guy from the Heritage Foundation that was the head
of the Heritage Foundation, he came out and defended the
interview and then said, oh, after thinking about it, I
don't defend it. He's evil and bad. You were right.
(01:23:48):
Get rid of the guy. And then you've got Lindsay
Graham listen to this.
Speaker 21 (01:23:52):
I feel good about the Republican boardy, I feel good
about where we're going as the nation.
Speaker 2 (01:23:58):
We're killing all the right people.
Speaker 21 (01:24:00):
Your taxes, so to those who worry about these stupid
interviews and far off places, don't worry. The Republican Party
has figured it out when it comes to Israel. Israel
is a friend of America to the bitter end.
Speaker 2 (01:24:17):
Wait, Maga is now about killing people and lowering taxes
apparently so and supporting Israel and again support israel I,
support israel I, also support humanity and children and the
innocent and criticizing one meaning the politics of Israel and
their leaders is not the same thing as being anti

What traving? Let's find out what's trending on the webs
of the inter the net on this festive Tuesday. Start
with Yahoo Election Day. Obviously, Nigeria, Nigeria to boost oil production.
Wait what they've got oil? No wonder, I'm kidding. Dodger's
(01:27:18):
paraded the Doyers. There's a hint of a three peede
in there. Could it happen? You never know? Trump trending
because of the election. He's backed Cuomo Cuomo. Jonathan Bailey's trending.
He's the sexiest man alive. Who's that? Apparently? I gotta
(01:27:41):
be honest with you. I don't know. He's an actor
and he like looks familiar, but I don't know what.
I've seen him in Bridgerton. I guess it's one of
the things. And he's gay, Oh my god, he's gay.
Over to a Twitter. Cowboys Solid move yesterday lost to

Dawyers Mom, Donnie Ben Shapiro Nigeria, Monday Night football. Very interesting,
Ben Shapiro. There's a battle, of course, as we've talked
(01:28:28):
about in the conservative world. Over Tucker and Whatnot. Finally
over to Google. Cowboys number one trending thing yesterday. Not
a shocker. Solid game, and by solid I mean awful.
They know that, though I don't need to tell you.
Diane Ladd passed away. Jonathan Bailey Sexiest Man Alive three two, three, five,

If you miss any of the show, shame on you
read the podcast right here are the Chad Benson Show, which,
by the way, he has said is absurd, which also
makes me laugh. The fact that he's come out and said, yeah,
I find this to be absurd. Good for you, Good
(01:29:14):
for you, sir, Good for you New York mayor election.
Did he well, we know he did kind of sort
of in prison now still no signs that did. He's
getting out May twenty twenty eight. Is that what they're thinking? So, unless,
of course Trump decides to do something, I don't know
if he will, I don't now could I see him
(01:29:36):
do something? After the election next year, that is a possibility.
With a commutation or a pardon, that is always a possibility.
And he's already got some issues here because you know,
of course he's been going after Biden with the auto
pen right, and then the other night during the sixteen
(01:29:58):
minutes interview, you know, the by Ance guy that he pardoned.
Trump's like, I don't know who he is? Well, who
pardoned him? Then if you have no idea who he is?
Who pardoned I've never heard of the guy. Well, somebody
in your office gave him a pardon, then how's that?
And then he's you know, and let's be real, there
are some serious questions that need to be asked about
(01:30:21):
the pardoning of not just him, but so many of
the people that Trump has pardoned. That just screams corruption.
But how dare you go against the tribe? No, it's
just an honest question. Flip the script. If that was
Biden and hunter Biden, how would you feel, Well, he
did pardon him. Yeah, but I'm talking about the amount
of money they're making and how some of their friends
(01:30:43):
are getting out of prison. That's a serious question. Three, two, three, five, eight,

The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:31:20):
That time of the week, we talked to our man,
Mike Lyons, military analysts, retired major in the Armis. We
talk about all things military. What's going on globally And
since we last talked Mike, it went from Venezuela, which
is still probably going to happen, to now Nigeria is
being thrown about as we might have to go in
there and do something. It feels like we're going all
over the place.
Speaker 10 (01:31:40):
Hey, good morning, chat. I don't see it.
Speaker 9 (01:31:42):
You know, this is another classic Trump flash point. You know,
he threatens to send the military. There's just not any
kind of scenario where that that happens. I mean, there's
no question the United States regards Nigeria as a very
important African partner. It could have been just something as
simple as he saw the military action because of this
(01:32:03):
large scale killing of Christians that's taking place there.
Speaker 10 (01:32:06):
But I don't see it.
Speaker 9 (01:32:07):
The United States is You're right all over the place
right now. I'm a little bit concerned, but we've got
to get a much better position. Right, Jerry is one
of these countries, for example, in Africa that has rare
earth minerals have you know, we should be working with
because if we're not aligned with them, then our adversary's
going there and take them over as well. So I
think calmer heads will prevail and this whole thing will
(01:32:31):
die down.
Speaker 2 (01:32:31):
All right, let's talk about Venezuela. I think that the
giant storm calm things down a little bit. But that
sixty minutes interview, I mean, he's made it pretty much known. Look,
Maduro's days are he said, Maduro's days are numbered. I
don't know what that means. Does it mean it's an
assassination attempt? Does it mean Maduro's offered the US everything?
(01:32:54):
And the reality is is we've told them no. And
the question is, okay, why did we tell him no?
You know, I mean this is it feels like we're
doing something based on what some people, maybe in Florida want,
more than what's best for America.
Speaker 9 (01:33:09):
Right, you know, this is not you know, we're a
long way from the guy that thought he was going
to win the Nobel Peace Prize. I mean, these are
not the kinds of things that we should be doing
right now. Anything with regime change, from my perspective, is
just not a good course of action at this point.
But it looks like that's where this is where this
is going.
Speaker 10 (01:33:28):
And I don't, I don't.
Speaker 9 (01:33:29):
This is not Panama, this is not Noriega. This is
not the same kind of operation. There's a very sophisticated
military in Venezuela. Americans will expect casualties. This is a
little bit, you know, a little bit. We're off the
reservation for Donald Trump, and I'm really surprised it's going
this way. But at this point, given the amount of
military hardware that we have in the theater, and it's
(01:33:51):
not looking like it's backing down anytime soon. So you're right,
what does that mean? What does regime change mean? What
does Maduro Gan mean? I don't know if we have
an answer to that yet, but whether or not, you
know that this administration is going to keep pushing towards that,
you know, we have to just see.
Speaker 2 (01:34:07):
So like regime change. We're talking to Michael Lines, our
military analysts. You know, again, this is not like some
of the stuff we've had in the fast and we
do not have a great record we can point back to.
You know, you can go back and look at you know,
World War two in Japan. Since then, it's been more
missed than hit across the board. And we're great at
getting rid of somebody. And they already have some lady
in place. You know, they've talked about the first hundred hours.
(01:34:28):
But the truth is, I mean, what do we really
know about any of that and her and what happens
on the inside, because you know, we all think that
everybody's going to celebrate us. There's gonna be a lot
of people that were fans of Maduro who may cause
a giant civil war and then all of a sudden,
we've gone in broke a bunch of stuff.
Speaker 9 (01:34:46):
Now we own it, right I you know, I think
it's been more missed than hit. And you get to
your point and I don't think it's even been any
hit or so, you know, maybe we think culturally this
is going to be more aligned when we do this
in the Middle East. You know, we're completely over our skis.
But I don't understand what you know, what that planet
(01:35:06):
is going to be. And Venezuela is you know, the
their value proposition to us is more natural resources. It's natural,
it's rare minerals. It's the oil that's it's under it.
But it's Columbia that's driving the drunk drug traffic. I mean,
they're the ones that are producing the cocaine and that
in the whole supply chain. And it's not the fentanyl.
There's no fentanyl in Columbia. But Venezuela is, you know,
(01:35:29):
is the transport vehicle. And so this this is a
power play. And then maybe it is coming from Florida.
Maybe it is Marco Ruby. I'm not sure what we're
doing here, but this. You know, if you like the
neocons of the George Bush era and the and the like,
then you're gonna love what's what's happening right now in
the Caribbean. I'm not I'm not sure what the overall
(01:35:50):
strategy is.
Speaker 2 (01:35:51):
Speaking of neocons, Dick Cheney passed away eighty four. He
was the ultimate neoconna. I think a lot of people
look at him and say, this was the guy that,
along with a few other behind the scenes, that pulled
a lot of strings to get this Iraq invasion back
in the day.
Speaker 9 (01:36:08):
Right, you know, chat I have a little torn about
this because I think Dick Cheney was the primary architect
of the first go for which I participated in, and
why we were so successful back then, and why we
had all.
Speaker 10 (01:36:21):
The resources we needed to defeat the enemy back then.
Speaker 9 (01:36:23):
And there's no question that him, Cole and Powell, that
was some team. When it came to the Department of Defense,
Norman Schwartzkoff, everybody was aligned with regard to resources, mission.
Speaker 10 (01:36:35):
All those things.
Speaker 9 (01:36:36):
So I was always a very big fan of Dick Cheney,
and in some ways, you know, tribute my success and
survival and our units survival to him. But then you're right,
we get into two thousand and three and we go
on this excursion. This was crusade in the Middle East,
starting with Afghanistan, obviously in response to nine to eleven,
(01:36:56):
but this situation within Iraq and them having potentially weapons
of mass destruction, and we all know where that's led
to us today. So he's had two public lives. I
think I'm still a big fan of the first one.
Speaker 2 (01:37:11):
Talking to my client's military analysts, we talk about all
things military. Let's switch over to Russia or Russia. Russia
doesn't seem to be any movement right now, it seems
to be very quiet at this moment in time when
it comes to us even talking a bit about peace.
I don't know what's going on to the back channels,
but the reality is it seems to be just kind
of there.
Speaker 9 (01:37:30):
Right I know that I did see a report that
we did send more Patriot missiles there. That's really what
their biggest need still is.
Speaker 10 (01:37:38):
Right now.
Speaker 9 (01:37:38):
The Russians have somewhat dialed back some of their missile strikes,
and we know that the Ukrainians continue to strike major
Russian infrastructure with their drone systems. They still it's a
complete stalemate.
Speaker 13 (01:37:52):
You know.
Speaker 9 (01:37:52):
Russia still wants those territorial gains. Ukraine wants their sovereignery back.
The United States is not starting any of these kind
of sanctions that they're talking to. But we're back to complete,
you know, attritional warfare right now, and from Ukraine's perspective,
they have to go after those logistical hubs. These are
not there's still military targets, but they're still kind of
(01:38:14):
grinding away here. Infrastructure, fuel, all those things are remaining
big targets from Ukraine's perspective. And this is modern warfare
right now at that at that level.
Speaker 2 (01:38:26):
You know, it's interesting because a lot of people say, look,
if Ukraine really wants to go after it, there is
two giant dams that they could hit. One of them,
I think is big enough that would flood out enough
and do enough damage that it would it would cause
true chaos. And it's almost still like everybody, while the
(01:38:47):
conventional warfare is there, people are still not ready to
cross that line just yet.
Speaker 10 (01:38:53):
Yeah, you know, it's fun it's funny.
Speaker 9 (01:38:55):
I think that when you go off to those kind
of large scale infrastructure projects, to say that you're going
to get them and destroy them is really a difficult challenge.
They would need sidewinders, they would need a significant amount
of increase of military assets in order to go after
that kind of target.
Speaker 10 (01:39:14):
You'd be surprised those are somewhat hardened.
Speaker 9 (01:39:16):
We had the same thing in a Rock that everyone
thought that there were certain kind of dams that they
ended up flooding them, they would they would really hurt
the US forces going there. But but it's it's it's
a to your point, it's a humanitarian disaster that's just
waiting to go and if we go after them, they're
they're still difficult to take down. But but but but
(01:39:39):
they're not still the end all. But but that's a
good point talking.
Speaker 2 (01:39:42):
To my clients military and also we talk about all
things military. Obviously, you saw what's going on in the Sedan.
It is horrific. You've got just crazy amounts of violence
and it's it's a very bizarre situation because one of
and this is the strange bedfellows, the UAE is accused
and for the most part seems to be backing what
is going on in the paramilitary group in Sidan. And
(01:40:07):
you know, I mean there's pictures of from satellites where
you can see the blood run in the streets. It's
this bizarre world, Mike, of us having to have these
strange bedfellows where we would condemn it normally, but at
the same time we can't because we also need them.
Speaker 9 (01:40:24):
Yeah, I know, good example of strategic gally where Sudan
sits on the Red Sea there and that those key
routes of you know, any you know, as minerals and
gold resources move there. It's it's just the fact that
you know, in our lifetimes or let's say at post
World War two era, that the African continent still hasn't
(01:40:45):
really been developed, hasn't been westernized.
Speaker 10 (01:40:48):
It's you know, the.
Speaker 9 (01:40:49):
Power struggle that exists in these places, you know, have
just been going on for many years, and it'll continue
to do that. And it's the volume of people that
are involved, fourteen fifteen sixty million people. So this war,
you know, that's going on there, you know, between what
the Sudanese army and then I guess an RSF is
the other side they're called in Darfur, it's you know,
(01:41:09):
every conceivable humanitarian crisis is taking place, and it's been
plaguing place there for the last two years, and again
with no end in sight.
Speaker 2 (01:41:17):
You know, when you see something like that. I mean,
and this is something that I was talking about yesterday.
I didn't get to as much as I wanted to.
Where the hell's the UN man isn't It's the whole
reason we have the UN for situations like this. And
at the same time, I look up and say, outside
of having cocktails in Manhattan and relaxing and making millions
and billions of dollars from you know, America and and
(01:41:40):
and all the things they can rob us from, it
feels like they're not doing a damn thing. I don't
even see a blue helmet over there.
Speaker 9 (01:41:48):
Yeah, I saw actually quote you on Secretary General Warren
that this war is spiraling out of control. So you know,
they're back in the We'll send a memo and we'll
see if that will get things straight.
Speaker 10 (01:41:58):
But there's not.
Speaker 9 (01:42:00):
The UN I think has now come down to just
as much as it's been balkanized as maybe something as
our country has. And you've got religious aspects going on there.
You know, you've got the Muslim influence in Darfur and
the like, and them trying to exert their pressure in there.
So the UN has become a non entity when when
(01:42:20):
it comes to something like this, which is what it
was designed to stop or what it was designed to
even prevent from the very beginning. But we're not going
to see anything that changed anytime soon.
Speaker 2 (01:42:29):
Talking to my clients military analysts right quickly speaking of
of you know, more wars, Uh, it is still a
tough situation in Palestine, in Israel. Uh, there's a lot
of things moving parts. I know that the one of
their was it, one of their generals was just arrested,
who was one of their leaders because she released a
(01:42:52):
video of you know, some horrific crimes that some of
the IDF soldiers did so. But you've got this battle
going on internally, and yet I still see nobody when
it comes to Palestine that I thought there was going
to be a coalition of people going to police the area,
and I haven't heard a damn thing.
Speaker 10 (01:43:08):
Right we thought.
Speaker 9 (01:43:08):
I thought Egypt would have been that indispensable nation to
do that.
Speaker 10 (01:43:13):
Indonesia wanted to get involved.
Speaker 9 (01:43:14):
You had the Turks that wanted to get involved, but
they're moving at a snails pace like pond water, and
we've not seen that movement there. And that's because Hamas
has still not been disarmed. That was the next phase
of this agreement. They haven't given up some of the ministries,
but they really haven't disarmed. And that's why I would
say the attacks now are drone crisis, drone strikes, and
(01:43:39):
the humanitarian crisis is always going to be there. But
it's still not safe enough if you're an external country
to bring your troops and forces in there, and that's
why the Israelis are going to have to clean that up.
Speaker 10 (01:43:50):
Still before that starts.
Speaker 2 (01:43:52):
Last question, appreciate you coming on my clients military analysts.
The government shut down, Okay, it's getting serious. Now, what'd
you make of the mystery billionaire that gave money to
fund the military? That seems very old school JB. Morgan
kind of stuff. You know, you come over and you
write a check to the government to cover for something.
But this is not going anywhere positive right now because
(01:44:14):
people are now missing checks. There's I don't think there's
gonna be another mystery billionaire coming in to fix something.
And you've also got a lot of military families that
unfortunately are on snap and things of this nature. It
is getting tough out there.
Speaker 10 (01:44:26):
Yeah, ch had not.
Speaker 9 (01:44:27):
You know, I've got a little my son's in the Navy,
so I'm close to this situation. And you know, they
got paid again. The military has gotten paid now. That
check that he wrote was hardly enough in order to
pay the entire military, and when it comes to their
you know, their paychecks. But they were able to find money,
and I know they did get paid again in this
last pay day there was last week, So the next
(01:44:50):
fifteen days now they'll either have to find more money
or not. But the military rallies around its people and
make sure.
Speaker 10 (01:44:57):
Food banks have been open.
Speaker 9 (01:44:58):
Food banks have been pouring in, I know, but people
do slip to the cracks unfortunately, and it's an unfortunate situation.
Speaker 2 (01:45:05):
Love talking to your brother. Best damn military analyst in
to business Mike Liones, retired major in the Army. Appreciate
you coming on. You go have yourself a good day.
We'll talk to you next week.

Chad Benson Show, Welcome to chat Chet.
Speaker 1 (01:46:33):
No, not the country, the institution, The chat Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:46:39):
Election Day in full effect. Trump's not on the ballot,
but you know Trump's on the ballot.
Speaker 5 (01:46:45):
You can't underestimate anti Trump sentiment in some of these races.
That's a mobilizing factor, not only in Virginia and New Jersey,
but it's also probably a part of why we've seen
the rise of a candidate like Zoran Mamdani, right, who
is sort of the antithesis of Trump.
Speaker 2 (01:47:07):
And in many ways I have been saying, though as
much as that is about Trump, he's used Trump tactics,
changed the wording and ran with it. This is also
a referendum on the Democrats. They're old, they're out of touch,
and they're flailing, and you have an old guard who
really doesn't care much about anything outside of maintaining the
(01:47:29):
status quo and holding onto power. And man Donnie's come
in and as much as the battle has been with
him and Trump, his biggest battle has been with tons
of money, millions upon millions of dollars flowing in from
Democrat donors who want nothing to do with this guy.
So that battle is as much about the referendum on
(01:47:50):
what the Democrat Party has become. On top of that,
you've got, you know, other races. So the ones we're
obviously watching, the big ones is California Prop fifty Mundania
I think it's gonna win. But then you've got the
New Jersey race is probably the one that's going to
be the most interesting because it's the closest race out
there of Republicans and Democrats. You know, the Virginia race.
(01:48:13):
Everybody's made a big deal out of it. In the truth,
I just I don't see, you know, a Sears winning
spam Burger is gonna win that. So this will be
very interesting. Tomorrow, we'll have a recap of everything. Reach
out to us across all of our social media, and
