Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
If you're the president, you celebrate yesterday, you wake up today,
you get back to work. Other things out there that
are more important to the American people at this moment
in time. This amazing day yesterday, that's what it is.
It was an amazing day yesterday. That is going to
be a very long term play. That's going to have
some ebbs and flows, some bumps in the roads. You
(00:36):
get where I'm going with this, some botholes as well.
But it's back to work kind of sort of because
the government's still shut down, because you know it is what.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
As the government shut down heads into its third week,
Speaker of the House Mike Johnson with a stark warning.
Speaker 4 (00:54):
We're barreling toward one of the longest shutdowns in American history.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
The longest shutdown was during the first Trump a minute
registration and lasted thirty five days. The House Speaker said
Democrats can end the shutdown tomorrow, calling their hardline on
extending the Obamacare subsidies to keep healthcare costs for millions
from rising a boondoggle. The White House using the shutdown
to fire more than four thousand federal workers, including many
inside the Department of education.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
I heard also they fired some people to CDC and
then the next day they send him letters sorry about that, that
we need to fire. You guys not going well. Now.
A lot of this has to do with illegals getting benefits.
They're getting benefits, Chad are some. Yes. Now we can
go over later whether or not the contribution they make
(01:42):
is greater than what they get. But that being said,
you guys need to get something done. And the biggest
issue I see in this situation is whether or not
they can get these soldiers paid. That is more more important,
looks wise, because this is all about the looks at
(02:04):
this point in time. I was reading a great article
today in Politico going, whatever the Democrats are saying about
this shutdown to sway people, it isn't working. No, I
don't think most Americans care. We talked about it last week.
One in three Americans had no idea there was a shutdown. Oh.
(02:26):
Now they're going to find out more and more as
things go on that there is a shutdown, because stuff
will start to be really affected in ways that you know.
Now it's trickled down to them. It started with yes,
our men and women soldiers, people that work for the
(02:46):
government contractors, which, by the way, nobody's talking about if
you work for the you know, you may not work
for the government, but you may get a vast majority
of your income from the government being a contractor. With
them being shut down, you're not furloughed, you're not getting paid,
and there is no back pay coming. So there are
plenty of those people out there who are really going
(03:08):
to start feeling that. In fact, two thousand and twenty four,
I think it was almost seven hundred billion dollars in
contracts to outside agencies, smaller federal contracts across the board,
(03:29):
so no back pay. They're feeling it. And I have
a couple of friends who work for companies and they've
had to extend their credit line so they could pay
their bills and keep their lights on and keep some
of their people at least part time employed while they've
figured this out. But you had this is about healthcare.
This is what this is about. It's about healthcare. It's
(03:50):
about illegals taking healthcare and running away with it.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
The only thing that's changed is his personal political calculation.
His consultants and his posters have told him needs to
show a fight to President Trump, even if it means
hurting millions of American families. So that is exactly what
Chuck Schumer is doing. He's determined that his own political
survival is worth the irreversible harm he's inflicting on the
(04:15):
American people. He's gambling with people's lives and livelihoods to
appease the far left Marxist space of his party so
that he can keep his job.
Speaker 5 (04:23):
And make no mistake, this is bigger than Chuck Schumer.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
Democrats are terrified of their radical Marxist space, the ones
who have been here for a while, kind of your father,
your grandfather's Democrat Party, the remnant of those folks who
are still here in the halls. They're terrified to show
any willingness to work with Republicans or to work with
President Trump, even when that would clearly benefit.
Speaker 5 (04:49):
The American people.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
And everybody sees right through this, all right, there's Mike Johnson.
He wants Lee Greenwi to be the halftime show at
the super Bowl. We're going to pass appreciate that, Mike. Uh.
Some of that's true, Yeah, to a certain extent. It's
the exact same thing. On the right. They both have
their people that they're afraid to mostly online base of
(05:12):
people that will, you know, rabble rouse if things, you know,
look uncomfortable, they don't like the way it feels. But
it's about who could win the narrative, and the narrative
right now is being one by nobody. Nobody's winning this.
Nobody's winning this situation. And when you see the fact
(05:33):
that our men and women, somebody asked yesterday, they text
the show late last night and said, hey, Chad, you
said that there were already soldiers in line getting food.
And I'm like, yeah, already, Because first of all, they
(05:53):
don't make a lot. The reality is they're already living
paycheck to paycheck, and they're getting ahead of the game
because they understand what's coming. And I know Trump's trying
to do something and you know, who knows what that'll
look like. But this isn't about getting them paid. This
(06:14):
isn't about whether or not the illegals are getting Medicare
and medicaid or any of that stuff. This right now
is all about who can dig in the most, who
can then get the narrative on their side. So it
gets that fifty point one percent where you get blamed
(06:37):
for it, and you have to come to the table
with your table between your lakes. So I don't think
this is going away anytime soon, that's for sure. Yesterday,
like I said, great day, awesome day. People go where
do we go from here?
Speaker 6 (06:49):
He did play a pivotal role in this deal, putting
tremendous pressure on Prime Minister Netan Yahoo, the President declaring
the hard part is done, that the war is over,
but Netanyaho hasn't go that far, and Israel and Hamas
have yet to agree on what comes next, and there
are monumental hurdles ahead. Will Hamas disarmed, how will they
secure and rebuild Gaza? And who will ultimately govern it.
(07:12):
The President notably did not mention a two state solution,
even though his twenty point peace plan says it could
pave the way to a Palestinian state.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
You know, yesterday one of the things you didn't hear
in his speech was he was saying, Hey, maybe we
should just let's just you know, I don't know, how
about we give him a pass? Huh? How about that?
How about we give BB a pardon? What? Yeah? Because
if you guys don't know this, BB is unlikable. Never
(07:44):
got more than like thirty percent of the vote, But
that's the way it's set up over there. There's so
many parties it's tough to do. But he was and
still is under indictment, so says I think his wife
is two under investigation. There's a lot of stuff going on.
And while all that's going on, a lot of people
are pointing out, hey, you know what there's you know,
he's a wartime guy, and if the war's gone, he
(08:06):
could face some serious issues. That's when Trump said.
Speaker 7 (08:09):
I have an idea, missed the president, why don't you
give him a pardon? Give him apart, by the way,
that was not in the speeches you probably know, but
I happened to like this gentleman right over here, and
it just seems.
Speaker 8 (08:29):
To make so much sense, you know, whether we like
it or not, this has been one of the greatest
wartime presidents. This is what been one of the greatest
wartime presidents. And Cigars and Champagne, who the hell cares apartment?
Speaker 2 (08:47):
They brought your guards Champagne in there, and he was like,
what the hell are you people doing? Because he doesn't
spoke or drink. Now, they were celebrating, but there's a
lot of work still to be done. Like I said,
you celebrate yesterday and you move on. I still think
and this is just me. I said it last night,
I'll say it again, and we'll get into a little
deeper next hour. I think they're trying to recalculate how
(09:10):
they can go about continuing to do what they were doing,
and how he can continue to push this forward, because
the longer he does this, the last chance there is
that he has to face the music when it comes
to the charges. On top of that. I think they
accepted this partially because Trump said you got to and
(09:32):
the other part is like, let's just do this and
then we'll go finish it off later. But I think
that would be a huge mistake. We'll talk a little
bit more about this a little bit later. And by
the way, our man, my clients, military, and let's just
going to join the program coming up a little bit too.
We're going to talk about not just this, Russia, Ukraine,
a bunch of other stuff that's going on out there,
including China. And speaking of China, we're in a mini
(09:54):
trade war with China. If you guys don't know, so China.
I did last week to send letters out to our
allies and trading partners and say, hey, screw America. You
know what they You know, you don't need to deal
with them, right, they're horrible, blah blah. And then Trump said,
all right, we're done. Rock can deal with you guys.
Any more than these get hit everybody with more tariffs,
(10:17):
which go into effect.
Speaker 9 (10:18):
New tariffs take effect today on kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities,
upholstered furniture, and lumber. The White House insists tariffs will
have major economic benefits in the long term, saying, quote,
while Americans may face a transition period from tariffs, the
cost of tariffs will ultimately be borne by foreign exporters.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
Which is not true. But the interesting thing is they
decided last week that you know, they wanted to take
us on in a bigger trade war because they have
looked at America and they've looked at Trump and they said,
screw you, We're not going to bend to your will.
And with all of the rare earth minerals that they
(10:59):
have now really secured through the Belton Road initiative and
just handing money out to everybody, this is the battle
that is the coming battle. And China feels now that
they're strong enough to take us head on. Oh, we're
gonna get deep into this today. We've also got number
fourteen scary movie ac count then this one today. Oh
(11:20):
creepy and if you're claustrophobic, I'm just telling you, guys,
it is an uncomfortable watch. Absolutely. But first we're just
talking about healthcare. And our friends over at Chapter want
to talk to you about healthcare. If you like your
you know, you go out there and you like your
Medicare plan, but you find out, Oh, guess what, it's
(11:40):
out of style, it's gone. What are you gonna do? Uh? Oh,
I don't know. I guess we're just gonna call somebody.
Don't don't do that until you hear this. Let my
friends a Chapter help you out. They don't work for
the government, no big insurance companies. They're not gonna sticky
in someone. They're gonna get the biggest commissions. What they
do is they compare every Medicare plan nationwide to find
(12:01):
the best fit for you. On average, seniors save eleven
hundred dollars a year with Chapter. Here's the other great thing,
absolutely free and their review. When they go and they
compare everything, within twenty minutes, you will have all of
those to compare with They're going to get you the
best plan. It is awesome. My mother in law did it.
She thought it was fantastic. It was super easy. And
(12:22):
I'll be honest, she's not very digital. And why does
that matter. Well, there's no gimmick, there's no pressure, just
honest advice, all right, from the experts who know medicare
inside it out. So this is all you have to do.
Pick up your phone, dial pound two fifty, say the
keyword Medicare plan. It's that easy. It's too important to
risk it. And with a partner like Chapter, who I
(12:44):
absolutely trust, they're not going to steer you wrong. Dial
pound two fifty and say keyword Medicare plan. Pound two fifty,
Medicare plan for our friends over at Chapter. This is
the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
So the shooter in Dallas, we are finding out more
about him. And here's a shocker wackadoo of epic proportions.
Speaker 10 (13:21):
Within the past five years, according to records obtained by
the AP, Josh Huey Yan moved to Washington State to
work at a legal cannabis farm. When he returned, his
parents said Yan was convinced that he had radiation sickness
and wore gloves to avoid contact with plastics. On September
twenty fourth, Yan took a rifle to a rooftop in
Dallas and took aim at a van outside the adjacent
(13:41):
ice office, killing two detainees and wounding a third before
taking his own life.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
Yeah, so he goes out to Washington State, works at
the cannabis farm, and of course radiation and all the stuff,
and comes back and he wears rubber gloves. Thinks he's
been poisoned. Oh, it gets better, So moves back with
mom and dad.
Speaker 10 (13:58):
According to his own parents, was a loner obsessed with
artificial intelligence. Documents obtained by the AP show the twenty
nine year old spent most of his time in his
bedroom at his parents' house in suburban Dallas. Steam, a
game distribution platform, shows Yon log more than eleven thousand
hours on first person shooter and survival games.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
Wow, dude was not all there. I mean, when you
think about it, So guy thought he was poisoned. Radiation poisoning.
Dude thought he had to wear gloves everywhere, stayed inside
all the time. Mom and Dad, where were you just
(14:40):
out of curiosity? Where were you? Mom and dad? At
no point did you think, you know what? Our kid's
a bit weird, right, I mean, he seems to be
normally he could move across the country and go work
at a weed farm, but then he comes back and
he thinks he's been poisoned, and he just stays in
his room all day. At no point did you go
in there and go, Joshua, have you think have you
(15:02):
met a nice girl? No? You didn't, right, You let
this twenty nine year old wha could do a live
in your house, probably didn't pay any rent and and
what do nothing? You You never asked any questions. I'm
looking at you, Mam and dad totally terrified apparently that
he had gotten radiation sickness, and that remember we had
(15:25):
talked about this at first, that he believed he was dead,
that there was nothing they could do that he had
you know, he had lung cancer even though he hadn't smoked,
and he was just such a bizarre thing. We're now
we're finding out, Oh, he thought he had radiation sickness
three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four twenty three
at Chat Benson Show's Your Extra Insta YouTube, Facebook, and
(15:45):
Morphe Missy Show. Make sure you got the podcast right
here on the Chad Benson Show. What but I go
back to this, mam and dad said, well, we noticed,
you know, that things were a little different. But at
first he seems complete. That your kid lives inside of
his room and never leaves it and can't have a
normal conversation with anybody. You thought that was normal? Okay, oh,
(16:09):
my lord, and I could talk from some experience of
you know, I've got little brothers who because of my
sister and the addictions that she had and the things
that she did there, they've got some issues. And you know,
(16:30):
my family got on this early, which is good. But
we're under no illusion that they're all going to be strikes.
I mean, we're hoping for you know, we don't want
it to be gutter balls. But they also have autism.
They're on the spectrum. They've got several disorders that have
been diagnosed. But if I came home and just going
(16:52):
me to live here now, just going in the room
and knock him out, he thought we thought it was.
It wasn't normal. The hell is wrong with you. It
wasn't normal to be in there for that long and
have zero interaction and believe that your kid was dying
from radiation poisoning. You didn't notice that he was walking
(17:12):
around wearing gloves all the time, and you didn't think
that's a bit odd. Interesting mm hmm three two three
fave three eight twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson,
Show your Acts, your Insta, YouTube and more. Will be
live tonight right around seven o'clock East Coast time, four
o'clock on the West Coast. Coming up next, Mike Lion's
Military Analyst. We break everything down from Israel, Hamas to Russia,
(17:37):
Ukraine and China to Chad.
Speaker 11 (17:39):
Benson, job Son, Chad Benson, Joe.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
The Chat, Benson's Show.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
So that's out of the week. We talked to the
best day of military analysts in the business. Mike Liines,
retired major in the Army, and man, we can't I
tell everybody, you can't even really put into words how
big yesterday was. Trump America, all of the stuff in
the Middle East. Doesn't mean it's going to hold, doesn't
mean it's going to be perfect forever, but just really
(18:26):
the way that this has gone down is pretty damn amazing.
Speaker 12 (18:30):
Yeah, Chad, no question that we saw something we've not
seen in our lifetimes with the possibility of having some
kind of piece there. But from a military perspective, Israel
has got to, you know, continue to be on the
watch and recognize that there's still the fact that Hamas
has to disarm itself, it has to give up some
(18:52):
of its ministry supports, and if it would like to
participate in this political process, it's not going to be
the same as it was before.
Speaker 5 (18:58):
I think we're at the beginning of the beginning.
Speaker 12 (19:00):
The President did not miss an opportunity to take you know,
take a victory lab for this. But you know, my
conservative side of me, if you looked at old foreign policies,
it might have been a little bit premature. But let's
hope the momentum continues and it can hold for the
next phase of this, this ceasefire and operation.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
You know, it's very interesting. I've said for the last
couple of weeks, the worst thing that Bbe's done, I mean,
he's done some stuff that let's be real, there's some
serious issues here in the way that he's at times
handled some of the stuff. But the bombing of of
Cutter Has was easily the issue that really pushed this
thing forward, especially when you see the fact that heg
(19:43):
Seth and he co got the whole thing with our
partnership and them using our bases and stuff, and it's
I think he really overstepped there.
Speaker 5 (19:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (19:53):
Yeah, And that the fact that the Air of Nations
saw that the president you know, kind of tried to
you know, put him back in his place a little
bit on that. But there's no question that this new
foreign policy the United States has, it's leading from the front,
leading for military power. Trump is the president of It's
just classic Teddy Roosevelt come bo diplomacy. Speaks softly, carry
(20:13):
a big stick, wants peace, wants us to go, but
is willing to do what it takes, willing.
Speaker 5 (20:19):
To go after the Iranian capability.
Speaker 12 (20:21):
And then in this case, you know, let's Israel kind
of off the leash to do that, but then it
wheels them back and says, Okay, they'll never do that again.
But the fact that they did do it just shows
that they're capability that they can. But it did prove
some kind of a rally point. I think to your point,
that got a lot of the things moving in this direction.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
So haalking to my client's military, and let's we talk
about all things military. We moved from there too. Obviously,
what's going on Russia Ukraine? I think Zelenski's coming out
here on Friday. Trump seems to have had enough of
the pooter. And I've read several things that say the
people I think would be fine in Russia if this
is where it ended up. But it seems like the
(21:01):
military itself seems to be the one pushing Putent to
continue to move forward.
Speaker 5 (21:06):
No, it sure is.
Speaker 12 (21:07):
And I saw something yesterday from Instituted Study of War
that said that the Kremlin is preparing to mobilize reservists
really on a rolling basis, which is you know, code
for they're not you know, giving up the human element
of this anytime soon. They've got this, They've got kind
of two kinds of reservists. They've got this higher readiness
human mobilization reserve of an active force, which you know,
(21:29):
they signed these recruits the longer contracts makes them, you know,
they pay them a little bit more. And then they've
got this the inactive reserve, where they'll just basically grab
anybody that's between the ages you know of you know,
eighteen to seventy and certain certain cy. So I think
Russia is not stopping anytime as soon as what was
(21:51):
what the message is overnight there was missile attacks into
hospitals as well, so that they continue to propagate this war.
Speaker 5 (22:00):
This is as if not more difficult.
Speaker 12 (22:02):
For the president to think he's just going to step
in and decide that he's going to change the battlefield
position anytime soon in order to get Russia to the
negotiation table.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
You could tell everybody you're going to pay him a
million dollars. Mike, it's a meat crider man. Nothing's gonna
You're not coming back from this. For the most part.
Speaker 12 (22:19):
Well, Russia has this advantage because they send the troops
there and there's not a lot to say because obviously
it's not a democracy, it's in a dictatorship from that level.
Speaker 5 (22:29):
So from a military perspective.
Speaker 12 (22:31):
And that's why I think you get the performance you
get from the soldier that's there. They don't care, they
don't they're not fighting for anything, they don't have anyway,
They're just trying to survive day to day. We see
instances all the time of military units not you know,
not obeying orders. So that's the advantage that these Western
militaries have they have something to fight for, and that's
(22:53):
that defines the Ukraine military. But it's still at the
end of the day, Russia has more bodies to throw
at this than Ukraine does.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
Talking to my client's military anelets best and military analysts
in the business, China, China is taking his head on
into trade war man, and they don't seem to be
blinking an eye. Last week they sent out a letter
basically to all our allies and trading partners said yeah,
I don't work with America anymore. They suck, They're awful.
This is getting a little bit more uncomfortable, and I
feel like they would be happy with us to be
(23:20):
bogged down somewhere because I think she looks and goes,
you know what, I'm going to call you a bluff
that we can go take Taiwan. You can't do anything. No.
Speaker 12 (23:28):
I think there's a validity to that, and I think
that the United States will not necessarily get bogged down
in Europe. Will there's talk about sending the Tomahawk missiles
there on. They'll have to be modified because that's a
weapon system primarily for submarines and warships. And so I
know that there's an army modification for that. But I
don't think that the US is taking its eye off
(23:49):
the ball for the Pacific. You're seeing much more activity
with US, the Australian military, the Japanese military as well,
that they're running a tremendous amount of exercises. But the
Chinese can, and you to, I believe, you know, try
to in the South China Sea, ramming ships and projecting
power from their navy, and there gunbo diplomacy that's going
(24:13):
on there. You also have their alliance with North Korea.
I saw a report about a new solid fuel ICBM
rocket they rolled out at a parade. So you know,
China and North Korea continue to try to flex their
muscles in the Pacific. But I still think deep down
mentally they're disarmed. They won't do anything until they really
feel like they have to.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
So we move from there to South America. Man, I
saw stuff this weekend. I see that we've got some
stuff over there in Trinidad, which is like what six
miles or whatever to Venezuela. I mean, there's no doubt
I saw that we have our spy planes in the
air and they're looking for it just feels like as
all this other stuff's going on, that Rubio and a
few of the others they've got their plans, they're ready
(24:56):
to roll. It's not if, but when.
Speaker 12 (24:58):
Yeah, I think you're right about out that and that
that that this is all Rubio in thinking that this
is an interdiction with the drug trade will make some
kind of an impact.
Speaker 5 (25:10):
Now, this happened back in the eighties as well.
Speaker 12 (25:13):
People forget that, but Reagan did authorize the military to
go and I worked on a little bit of a
task force with an officer back then on what they
were trying to do, and they thought they were going
to be able to use the military to make sure
that to try to stop some of the drugs that
were taking place there. But right now, we still don't
(25:34):
have enough of a logistical base. We really don't, and
I don't I don't believe that that that what you're
seeing is more for projecting power as opposed to actual power.
I think that these cartels will do other things and
they'll either lay low for a while, but these few
strikes are not going to put them out of business
anytime soon.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
Talking to Mike A. Lion's military analysts, if we were
to go into Venezuela. Let's just say there's, you know,
a possibility, because you never know. And again, I think
there's a lot to it. I think Rubio and them
are really running a lot more. I think Hegset's just
kind of sitting there, and I think these guys are
running a lot more of this stuff. If we were
to go in there. You know, we're not Mike, you
know this, man. We're great at the first part of
regime change. We're not always sticking the landing on the
(26:16):
second part.
Speaker 12 (26:17):
Yeah, let's hope that we don't do that for that
exact reason. You know, I defer back to you know,
Casper Weinberg or Colin Powell. If you're going to deploy
the military, you know clear objectives. You know a time
zone that you think that's going to work, a duration's
going to work, overwhelming power, exit strategy, all those things
(26:38):
that were lost for the past twenty to twenty five years,
frankly in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Speaker 5 (26:42):
So I don't know what that looks like.
Speaker 12 (26:44):
And I don't think regime change is a good idea either,
because that's never worked out well for us. You look
back in history, if it's just nothing more than this
counter narcotics interrediction mission. Well, then that's that's kind of
go on forever. That becomes a military policing action. So
that's likely what this administration is looking at right now.
(27:05):
But you'd have to bring all four services into this
fight Marines, Navy, Army, and the Air Force in order
to ensure victory. But you'd have to tell me what
victory looks like, what exactly what that is. And if
it's regime change, then I'm a friend. We're in for
a long slog no matter what.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
Okay, heg Seth. Just explain to everybody what's going on
with Cutter with all of this stuff, because there was
so much confusion and he really brought it upon himself
with you know, we're giving him a base, so that's
not really what's happened. Explain to everybody what's going on
with them. Because we have partnerships with all kinds of
militaries across the globe. Yeah, I saw that.
Speaker 12 (27:44):
I think I think that was a reciprocal for what
we're trying to do something new here at partnership with
the Middle Eastern country that we had at before. I mean,
we have partnerships with our NATO countries, and they have
certain locations here that they work and especially in and
we the same overseas here. So I think that situation
(28:06):
is more or less just something new that they're trying out,
and they can they can trust that country only because
it's it's smaller, doesn't have a great military, but it
provides more or less the liaison.
Speaker 5 (28:17):
It elevates.
Speaker 12 (28:20):
Qatar, and it elevates them, which is they want to
be in the world, and likely part of this agreement
with with Israel and Goza making sure that you know,
they have that that projection of the fact that they're
still close to the United States. And but at the
end of the day, it's not it's not going to
mean anything more. We're going to work together on I
guess some of the their frames that eventually come back
(28:41):
to Qatar. But but again it's more or less I
think that's to project up that country in order for
US as payback for what they did for Israel and Gozia.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
Mike, you watch, you're obviously military guy, tired army. You
look out there, you see what's going on right now
with the government shut down. You hear that the soldiers
aren't getting paid. You know there are already I've seen
him in food lines, which doesn't help at this moment
of time. And they're already It's not like they get
paid a lot of money anyways. So how what's the
morale like? What's that like? Because you feel like a
(29:12):
political football in this situation where you you know, you
really have no say over any of these things, but
there you are. You're stuck in the middle of it,
and you feel like both sides are using you for
pictures to try to get the other side of the table.
Speaker 12 (29:25):
Now, no question, and I have got you know, vested interests,
and as my son's in a military and I work
on a military base, and so you could see the
effects of the shutdown on a military base, as as
some of the services have been discontinued for now, there
is there will be an issue. There will be people
that slide through the cracks when the military doesn't get
(29:46):
paid here on the fifteen tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (29:47):
I think that I think that the commanders are prepared
for it.
Speaker 12 (29:52):
I know the President said he's moving money from one
budget line to another, and I'm watching Democrats complain about
that is just beyond the pale to me. Complain at
the military is not going to get paid. I think
the money will come in a few days later is
what I'm as what I understood, but commanders have been
prepping for this. It'll get a lot worse in the
next two weeks because I think he runs out of
money then. But overall the military is very accepting of
(30:14):
the political situation as that. Unfortunately was one of those
I believe pawns that the Democrats tried to use against
the President to shut down, but looks like he out
maneuverd them by trying to get them paid within the
next few days.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Indeed, my man best damn military analysts, business, dride, Major

Speaker 1 (32:16):
Running with Scissors sounds great compared to this.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
It is that time of the program where we talk
about scary stuff. We're count down the top twenty scariest
movies of all time, and boy do I have one
for you that is creepy. If you're claustrophobic, watch out.
Speaker 13 (32:34):
The time has come, so prepare yourself for a journey
of fear from the darkest corner of cinema, the most
bone chilling tales ever told. It's the countdown you've been
waiting for. Which movie will take the top spot? How
about a fish tail so big because the jaws open wide,
(33:01):
or the story of a young innocent girl battling evil
with some help.
Speaker 5 (33:09):
Well, then let's introduce ourselves. I'm Damion Karas and I'm
that devil.
Speaker 2 (33:13):
You'll have to listen to find out. Are you ready?
Number fourteen? All right? Number fourteen today is a creeper.
If you are a claustrophobic, do not watch this movie.
The movie has been called one of the greatest one
hundred horror movies in the last one hundred years. It
(33:34):
is called The Descent. It's based on six women who
decide to go spur plunking. They go down to the
caves and they're going to an unchartered cave system. When
they get in there, they find out, you know what,
maybe maybe we're not alone, right lady?
Speaker 1 (33:55):
For there it's pitch black.
Speaker 14 (34:05):
It did.
Speaker 2 (34:08):
There's only one way out of this chamber, and that's
down the pipe.
Speaker 14 (34:14):
L Sarah, I think she shot be stuck. Okay, move,
I saw someone. We'll stay here, We'll go.
Speaker 2 (34:40):
Absolutely amazing. Neil Marshall directs it. Amazing director. They built
sound stages. They want to do caves. Originally it was
just too dangerous. It is frightening. They use infrared and
red lighting to make sure that you see the claustrophobia
of being stuck in some of these places. And of
course the monster is more about the hearing and the
quick shots of it. It is terrifying. And here's the
(35:02):
other thing. UK has a different ending than the US.
One very bleak, the other with a glimmer of hope.
If you like movies where there's a creature or a monster,
you really can't tell what it is and is frightening
because of the mind and you're also not afraid of claustrophobia.
The descent is terrifying. The tagline fear runs deep and
(35:24):
in this it absolutely does. Number fourteen on the Scary
Movie Countdown. The Descent at Chadbentson Show is your acts,
your Insta, YouTube, Facebook and more. If you missing the show,
show when you got the podcast. If you have any suggestions,
let us know. We love hearing from you right here
on the Chad Benson Show. Coming up our number two
of the program. A lot of stuff still to get to.
(35:45):
More on the economy, good, bad, and different depends. Are
you confident in the economy the end of the day,
the economy still matters. It's Trump celebrates yesterday's big victory
in the Middle East. There's still a lot of stuff
that is going on, and a lot of that has
to do with things are going on here and We're
going to talk about those things, from immigration to yes,
(36:05):
the government shutdown. Plus we got some more crazy stuff.
Rainbows in crosswalks are the evil some people think they're
eg we look disgust that, among other things. Our number
two is straight ahead. This is the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
This is the Chad Benson Show. The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
It's always about the economy. We can sit here and
talk about all the great things that took place yesterday.
The reality is the economy. The economy, the economy, tariffs,
potential trade war with China. This is heating up to
be rather interesting because we're heading into that season hiring.
All of these things are going on. Man, I'm telling
(37:15):
you what. You can fix the world. You can save everybody.
You could stop all the wars. But if your economy sucks,
we will get rid of you. That is the absolute truth.
Speaker 9 (37:29):
New tariffs take effect today on kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities,
upholstered furniture, and lumber. The White House insists tariffs will
have major economic benefits in the long term, saying, quote,
while Americans may face a transition period from tariffs, the
cost of tariffs will ultimately be born by foreign exporters.
Speaker 2 (37:47):
Which doesn't happen. You and I both know that I
had to explain this to people on a daily basis.
They don't pay to export from their country to ours.
A few may do a couple things, but nothing is
born out by them. It is all us who have
to pay for it. So that money that you hear
(38:11):
like money's coming in, it's never been greater, it's bigger. Well,
that's Americans paying the government to import goods, that is
not foreign nations paying them. Just want to get that
out there. Now, we are moving towards that time oh
the year, which is holiday hiring. There is growing uncertainty
(38:33):
over the economy again as President Trump renews of possible
hike in Chinese goods after China announced it with limit
exports of rare earth metals. Retailers now signaling they may
pull back on hiring this holiday or delay plans to
hire seasonal workers. The part time gigs for many are
critical to making ends meet every holiday, but especially this
year when costs are soaring on most goods, including groceries
(38:57):
and those holiday gifts. And this is where the rubber
beats the road. Life is getting more expensive. Prices haven't
come down. People are getting frustrated. And they could say
it's coming, it's coming, it's coming. They're not feeling that
it's coming. What they're seeing is money is coming out
of their account. What is going into their account isn't
(39:18):
going as far as it should, and they're getting frustrated.
We're all getting frustrated because we all participate in the economy.
It is the one thing that every one of us,
rich or poor, participated. And when you're heading into the
holiday season, this is the times like to say you
make hey. If you're not making hay, the start of
the new year going to be tough.
Speaker 15 (39:39):
This is a note from analysts at Goldman Sachs and
what they say is that US consumers will ultimately absorb
this year fifty five percent of the costs from President
Trump's tariffs. Businesses would end up paying, they say, twenty
two percent of the costs foreign exporter, so people are
companies sending out the products would actually pay eighteen percent,
(40:02):
and then some how five percent Golden Zac says, of
the cost would be evaded altogether.
Speaker 2 (40:08):
Well, they're evading it all together. So the way it
works in some of these things where you're like ched,
I thought you said we pay Yeah, we pay it.
I mean again, fifty five percent of it is gonna
be paid by us, the consumer. So what happens is
exporders will give a discount effect, which means they'll discount
(40:29):
their product at a certain level, so they're not paying
the government. What they're doing is they're saying, all right,
because you bought this, we're gonna instead of charging you
one hundred bucks, we're going to charge you ninety when
normally you would pay one hundred. So they're giving us
the discount up front. But it is not the same
thing as them paying into the coffers here when they
(40:54):
hear tariffs, we are paying those. And at the end
of the day, it's about the cost. Cost feels like
it's going up. And now we're in a bit of
a battle with China, and Trump says, well, we've got
to November first. He says, a long time away, and
other people say it's not that long. But we'll see
(41:16):
what takes place. Because the rare earth minerals, China is
willing to take us on absolutely directly, go for it.
That's the way they look at it. They feel like
they've got everything in place now to look us eye
to eye and say, if this is what you want
to do, we're going to do it. So this will
(41:36):
be interesting to see the way that we go here
because we do love ourselves, some stuff from China, we
do love our stuff, some stuff from Amazon. And with
the holidays, here is this going to affect us? Probably?
Speaking of business, small business indeed, how is their outlook?
Speaker 10 (41:53):
The National Federation of Independent Business has been conducting monthly
member service for nearly forty years. For a step timber,
the NFIB Small Business Optimism Index fell for the first
time in three months, with sixty four percent of owners
reporting that supply chain issues are affecting their operations. One
bright spot, most small businesses are still seeing their profits rise.
Speaker 2 (42:15):
That's a good thing. What about gigs because we just
heard about the holidays. Some areas and these are smaller businesses,
some areas they're doing okay.
Speaker 10 (42:25):
A survey conducted by a major industry group finds that
thirty two percent of small businesses had job openings that
they could not fill last month. The NFIB monthly Jobs
Report shows that eighty eight percent of those companies found
few or no qualified candidates for positions they had posted.
Speaker 2 (42:42):
So the opportunity is there, no doubt to maybe get
yourself a gig, which is awesome because you hear that
people are miserable at their jobs, that there is no jobs.
That I said out five thousand resumes, nobody got back
to me. Well, seems to be that there are jobs
out there. And can I just make a suggestion, if
(43:05):
you're interested in the gig and there's a place up
the street and they're hiring, take your resume in because
everybody's using AI now and I have a feeling AI
doesn't like the competition of people trying to get jobs
at places. Just putting that out there. I'm not saying
that AI hate you or is Jelly could be a
little jealous, although I will tell you this, last night,
(43:26):
my AI and I got into we got into quite
a squabble last night. I was surprised my AI just
looked at me and said, nah, because I was getting
ready to do a video about Trump and everything and
I crafted this thing, and I said, oh, can you,
you know, give it a once over with the best
(43:47):
hashtags that are available right now? You know the kind
of stuff that you used these things for, and it
wouldn't and it said, no, I don't think that Trump
was really a major player, if you will, in the
peace agreement in Israel, And I thought, wow, So we
(44:07):
kind of got into a squabble. It was bizarre. But
back to the job thing. Go in. That's the new thing,
old school, bring the resume, show up and say hey,
you know what me me, I'm good for this. M
(44:28):
Speaking of jobs, the government's not doing theirs.
Speaker 3 (44:31):
As the government shut down heads into its third week,
Speaker of the House Mike Johnson with a stark warning.
Speaker 4 (44:37):
We're barreling toward one of the longest shutdowns in American history.
Speaker 3 (44:40):
The longest shutdown was during the first Trump administration and
lasted thirty five days. The House Speaker said Democrats can
end the shutdown tomorrow, calling their hardline on extending the
Obamacare subsidies to keep healthcare costs for millions from rising
a boondoggle. The White House using the shutdown to fire
more than four thousand federal workers, including men inside the
Department of Education.
Speaker 2 (45:02):
They also fired a bunch of people and talked about
last hour in the CDC and then they're like, oh
my god, remember when you guys got that thing yesterday
and said you fired, you don't come back. We overdid it.
We got zealous, we got over zealous, we got really excited,
and we decided to fire you guys, and that was
not a good move. What is also not a good
move is the look touch on the last hour with
(45:23):
Mikellions are a military analyst talking about the fact that
military standing in line getting food is not a good
look for either side.
Speaker 16 (45:35):
As I take a step aside here, there is quite
a bit of military members in their families inline because
of this government shutdown. We're in day nine of it.
In there here for a food pantry, there's all sorts
of food that is available, and I spoke with some
military members spouses, and I spoke with some department heads
here at the ASYMCA on why this is so important.
(45:58):
What's the difference in the amount of people that you've
seen from today to.
Speaker 17 (46:01):
Previous So when we first started coming there definitely wasn't
this amount of people. It was a lot, but it
wasn't this amount to where it wrapped around the building.
But lately it has been a lot. Like we were
here last week and we were in line for like
two hours, and in a normal week we usually run
out of food about one o'clock in the afternoon.
Speaker 2 (46:20):
Last week, we ran out of food about ten thirty.
That is, first of all, tough, even without the military,
because I think a lot of people think that show
up at food pantries that oh, these are just homeless people.
They're not. They're not. Many of them have one or
two jobs, they have a car, they have a roof
over their head. They're struggling, and you're starting to see
(46:42):
it pick up. And now you get the military in line.
And the reason they're in line is they're getting ahead
of it. They're getting ahead of the situation they currently
find themselves in because they understand what potentially is coming.
And the fact that they're being used as political footballs
and ponds is also, as efbsolutely annoying. I think we
can all say that a lot of good stuff still
(47:04):
to get to this hour, including we'll talk a little
bit about immigration. You know, we touched on it the
last couple of days that we've done the show, But
I'm hearing more and more from people about the frustration
they're seeing with ICE and the way that this is
going down. The visual is not helping Ice whatsoever. No
(47:27):
matter how much you craft it. There's a lot of
issues out there, and I will say I saw one yesterday.
I had to double check is this cannot be real?
And the way they went about handling their business, quite frankly,
it was appalling. It was absolutely appalling. We'll talk about that.
We've also got some more on what's going on with
Israel and an update on the shooter in Dallas at
(47:52):
the ice facility. I think wackado is a good way
to describe him. Say mom, dad, I don't think you
did a great job and trying to figure out what
was going on there. And no, he didn't have radiation poison.
Talk about that as well. Freach out to scuss all
of our social media. Prize picks, Baby prize picks. So
(48:15):
what is price picks? Price fix is amazing. Pick two
or more players based on their projected stats. Okay, and
you can go like they call it the hybrid model.
So you can go baseball, you can go football, you
can go hockey, you can go soccer, you can go
any of those things, and it's based on the projected stats.
And it's more, it's less. It's that simple, whether it's
(48:36):
Josh Allen or Saquon Barkley, Kevin Durant, Lebron, Stephen Curry,
you name it. They've got their projected stats. You decide,
do you think that Steph will score more than twenty
two and a half points. Do you think that, let's
just say, Saquon will rush for more than seventy eight yards?
(48:59):
It's more or less. It's that simple. Now here's the
beauty of it. When you download the app today, so
convenience to do. Use my code Chad. You get fifty

Use my code Chad. Price picks. It's good to be right.
Speaker 11 (49:30):
Coming up?
Speaker 2 (49:32):
Are those rainbow crosswalks? Those are evil? Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (49:51):
You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (49:53):
When people are hungry and they're worried about how they're
going to put food on their table. What really matters
is are those crosswalks rainbow colored?
Speaker 18 (50:04):
But Texas seemingly following Florida's lead here and this crosshof
also with a lot of other ones across Texas, could
be soon getting a makeover. Here's a statement from Governor
Greg Abbott directing tech stat that's the Texas Department of
Transportation to essentially ensure Texas counties and cities remove.
Speaker 2 (50:20):
Any political ideologies from their streets.
Speaker 18 (50:23):
He would have step further and said any city that
refuses to comply will face consequences and could result in
missing out on state and federal funding. Now go to
Greg Abbott didn't go into specifics like say rainbow crosswalks,
but he did say quote, Texans expect their taxpayer dollars
to be used wisely and not used to advance political
attendas on Texas roadways.
Speaker 2 (50:44):
Which is totally fine with me. I'm just saying it
is hilarious how the right and the left one will
do everything to make sure they have a rainbow crosswalk
because somehow that's diversity and inclusivity. Used to just mean
it's rainbow. Now it's different, and the right will do
anything to make sure that they know that that crosswalk
(51:04):
is just going to be a regular old crosswalk. You
know what they should do is they should sell like
advertising on it, so you cross it and maybe like
this crosswalk is brought to you by Coca Cola or
Pepsi chad. Whatever we do, it can't be about rainbows.
Speaker 18 (51:22):
Now, that language balls in line with Transportation Secretary Sean
Duffy's nationwide requests just a couple of months ago to
remove what he called distractions from roadways. Duppy wrote, taxpayers
expect their dollars to fund safe streets, not rainbow crosswalks.
Speaker 2 (51:35):
Some local officials don't see it that way.
Speaker 1 (51:37):
It is so frustrating to see these mandates come down.
Speaker 17 (51:40):
We're of course going to have to be as strategic
as possible and make sure we fight back using every
tool that we possibly can.
Speaker 18 (51:48):
So cities and local municipalities have about thirty days to
remove any signs or change streets or anything like that,
or repaint them.
Speaker 2 (51:55):
Nick, It'll be really interested to see, you know what
other states start implementing this.
Speaker 18 (51:58):
Obviously you have text this following Florida's lead, but the
question now becomes, you know who else is going to
follow suit Tennessee.
Speaker 2 (52:05):
Don't worry, We're going to be extra anti woke again.
It's stupid. You know what you should put? Just put
juicy stripe. Remember those horrible gum used to get juicy stripe.
You'd bite three or four times into it. Is that
what it's called juicy stripe? Am I right?
Speaker 8 (52:21):
Three?
Speaker 2 (52:21):
Two, three, five three, twenty four, twenty three at Chad
Benson shows your ex, your Insta, YouTube, Facebook and maud
love hearing from you right here the Chad Benson Show,
and you're like, this is great. By the fifth You're like,
this is the worst thing I've ever eaten in my life.
This is disgusting. What is this? Is this cardboard? It is?
You could be Skittles, be the Rainbow Taste, the Rainbow Cross.
(52:44):
Now just saying I don't think you're taking this serious.
I just think that there's just too much crap that
isn't real that we focus on. Who agrees with me?
Let me know, And I say that so much of
this is useless because it really is like taking down
the statues. How about this one? Florida always Florida, Florida,
Texas being honest. Tennessee's always late to the game. They
(53:09):
want to be a part of it, and they want
to be super extra anti woke. They're just not sure
what to do. Well Florida, they're getting rid of the
Rainbow Texas like we're going to do the same. How
about this one Florida House Bill one thirty three. Okay,
now this is spectacular, guys. I want you to understand this. Rep.
(53:29):
Kevin Steele, Republican Dade City that's in Florida, filed House
Bill one thirty three Redesignation of State University in Florida
College System Institution roads that require State University and the
Florida College System to change the names of Rhodes to
(53:50):
Charlie Kirk or Charlie James Kirk within ninety days, or
the state can withhold funds to the university institution. They
fail to do so within that ninety day period, you
people have lost your fringing mind. Nothing to do with
(54:13):
Charlie Kirk. All to do with the insanity of where
politics is today. If you miss any show, grab the podcast.
Speaker 11 (54:19):
This is the Chat Benson Show, The Chat Benson Show, The.
Speaker 1 (54:42):
Chat Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (54:45):
The government is shut down because it's not working because
they don't want to because illegal aliens are getting healthcare?
Is that true? We like to do things here that
are true. We like to do things here here where
we point out the reality, not the talking points of
(55:06):
what is happening. Immigration obviously a big deal. Illegal immigration
a very big deal. People that are here getting all
kinds of things from the government an issue, It's no
doubt about that. But how much of it is real
(55:28):
and how much of it is all about quote unquote
the sound bite, the boogeyman? Because why are we talking
about this? Well, healthcare is going to hell in a handbasket.
Government got involved and once they did, it was over.
That's what happened. Government's all because they like to do
(55:50):
that stuff. They screw everything up because they get involved.
The next thing, you know, regulation here, regulation there, over
regulation this, regulation that, regulation here, what about this? But
you can only do this, You can only talk to
these people, these people over here. Next thing you look up,
you're like, oh my god, and you're further away from
your health care provider. But then you throw this into
the mix, right, the subsidies going away? Is there a
(56:13):
fix to get everybody back? Talking Earlier today, Jason Smith Rep.
Talking to Maria Parturoma on Fox News.
Speaker 9 (56:22):
Well, I mean.
Speaker 19 (56:23):
Senator Mike Rounds was talking about an idea of coming
halfway and doing a limited subsidies extension for one year
and then going back to pre COVID operations after that.
I mean, is there anything to talk about in terms
of coming to the middle in terms of those obamacaret
(56:43):
sarpusidies or are you saying we're not going to negotiate.
Speaker 2 (56:46):
While the government is closed.
Speaker 19 (56:47):
Reopen the government and then we can have these discussions
before this extension before this expiration happens at year end.
Speaker 2 (56:53):
Okay, So this is Rep. Jason Smith as they go over.
There's no way that we can come back. But there's
no way we could talk about this because, by the way,
it's not just about people that are here illegally, undocumented,
whatever you want to call them, getting quote unquote all
of this free stuff. It is also about the subsidies.
(57:15):
They both are kind of there because these subsidies, like
them or not, have kept people ensured. Again, I'm not
a fan, but I also recognize government came in elections
have consequences. This was a big effing deal. We had
to pass it to find out what was in it.
(57:36):
Next thing, you know Obamacare is the law of the land,
and this is where we're at. To take away those
subsidies would then mean people are going to see their
premiums potentially go up fifty to one hundred and twenty
five percent, and people who are on their works healthcare plans,
(58:00):
we'll see their premiums rise on average eighteen to twenty percent.
So just want to point this out. This is one
of the things that's going on here. We're giving it
to you. So Maria Barti Romas he's asking Jason Smith. Jason,
he's a rep. Tell us what you think, Maria.
Speaker 20 (58:19):
These insurance subsidies have nothing to do with funding government.
It's just what the Democrats chose to block.
Speaker 2 (58:25):
And justify for.
Speaker 20 (58:27):
We are willing to negotiate, but we're not going to
negotiate until you open up government and stop punishing the
American people. They're virtually shutting down government because they want
to extend these subsidies and they want to provide healthcare
for illegal immigrants, and guess what, they want to cut
fifty billion dollars from rural health care.
Speaker 2 (58:49):
That doesn't make any sense.
Speaker 20 (58:50):
Why would anyone in the right mind support those demands
when we think of healthcare transformation. We can negotiate, we
can figure out a common grand but open up government
and then let's get the job done.
Speaker 2 (59:05):
Oh, Jason, I don't think you were telling the truth.
Could you be telling a purek pie? So the claim
about cutting fifty billion from rural healthcare, it kind of
gives you it, misframes it. Maybe that's it misguided in
your telling of the story. Oh do tail, So you
(59:30):
got to look at it this way. The Republicans build
the one big beautiful bill, all right, proposed to define
a fifty billion dollar rural healthcare fund. Now in that
fund there are cuts to Medicaid and other healthcare cuts
that will eventually reduce support for that fund. So it's
(59:53):
not really the truth. And when it comes to people
that are here illegally getting healthcare, we've talked about this.
Let's go over this again really quick. People that are
(01:00:14):
here illegally, not saying it doesn't happen, are not eligible
for these benefits. There is something called emtala. I think
I said it right. If I said it wrong, I
apologize if that's your name. Kind of weird what that does?
Okay for those who don't know, it's called the Emergency Medical,
Treatment and Labor Act. It says, we treat anybody if
(01:00:40):
there is an emergency situation, if somebody got hit by
a car. We don't ask you your status, we don't
ask you for anything. We treat you period. Case closes. Now,
you can't use this to go in if you've got
the sniffles. You can't use this as health care like
(01:01:00):
you would in office visit, because that's not what it's for.
This is about an emergency. If you're having a baby,
we're gonna treat you. You don't have to like it,
but this is a law. It's been around since eighty six.
It is what it is. And as far as how
many people actually are here illegally and get some form
(01:01:23):
of help and or have used the systems, less than
one percent woods less than one percent of the budget.
That's it. So the total federal medicare outlay, which is
(01:01:49):
a lot over trillion dollars, Okay, now you combine that
with other medical spending, it's one point sixty five trillion.
This is according to the CBO. And most of the
stuff that we just talked about, the emergency medical is
where that comes from. So just to put that out there.
(01:02:14):
They use it as this, it is you can't get this,
or you can't get that, or it's because of this
that is crap. I'm over it. I don't like being
lied to. I'm not an idiot. We waste all kinds
of money and crap everywhere. Tell me the truth. You're
doing this because it's good for your side of the aisle,
(01:02:36):
of which I agree with a lot of the time.
This is not one of those times. It isn't. And
when I look at stuff like this, I get pissed
and angry because you're lying to me to my face,
as if I'm an idiot. I'm not an idiot. The
information's out there. People don't want to go find out
what it is. I hear from people every day. Got
(01:02:57):
to get rid of them. You know who who? You
know the ones? No tell me the Spanish speakers, get
rid of them. It's so absolutely asinine, a ridiculous that
we're in this position. And I look at Biden and
I blame him for the poor way that he handled business.
(01:03:18):
I look at Biden and the Democrats who lied to
everybody and said, h ah, the border is secure when
it wasn't. But to sit here and play this game.
It's like, Oh, everybody's on medica. It's just they're very illegally.
Is crap. It is just don't lie to me. That's it.
Tell me the truth. We can handle the truth, okay, okay,
(01:03:41):
and if we want to go over it and get
serious about it. On average, in Medicare's favor, between one
point five and three billion dollars a year comes in
from people who are here illegally. As a net positive.
(01:04:02):
That's not good either, because again I go back to
they shouldn't be here, but the reality is they are,
and they're paying in and in many cases they don't
take the services. So it is what it is. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Shed Benson Show,
is your ex, your Insta, your YouTube and more love
hearing from all of you, real quick? Middle East? How
(01:04:25):
are we doing?
Speaker 21 (01:04:25):
Far more left on the to do list and has
been achieved? Not to diminish those great achievements and those
moments of joy, not least the dismantling, the disarming of
ha Mass, the reconstruction inside Gaza, all of that left
to do.
Speaker 2 (01:04:39):
But right now the.
Speaker 21 (01:04:40):
Families and hostages for them deeply unhappy, calling an emergency
meeting demanding the return of their loved ones, and still
thousands of Palestinians under the rubble inside Gaza.
Speaker 2 (01:04:52):
If you don't know how bad Gaza looks, it is
an absolute disaster of disase. It's the kind of thing
where you're like, that doesn't look really looks like a
movie stage. It does. And it is going to take
a while to get all of the remains back. For
the people that Hamas took, they probably don't know where
(01:05:16):
a lot of people are. To be honest, they have
no idea. They have no idea because from the time
they took them, they've moved them ten times. In some
cases that place has been bombed out, they have run
for their lives. They may have killed those people, they
may have been all blown up together. So that is
going to take a while to sort that out. And
(01:05:38):
so while the bodies of some arrived yesterday, some of
the people in Israel are pissed because their loved ones
have not been brought back. And that is understandable, that
is absolutely understandable. This was never going to be the
easiest thing. This is going to take time. And I
said yesterday because several people said, where are those people?
(01:05:59):
You don't have a refrigeration unit. No you don't, and
you're in tunnels. And in some cases those people died
and that place was bombed out and you moved on
or you were bombed out with it and you're dead.
So it is this is not going to be a
simple thing. This is going to take months and months,
(01:06:20):
and even when you get some of them back, there's
going to be somewhere you think this may be somebody
and it's not. So this is going to be a
very tough situation and Trump. This is where Trump has
to stand up to say we need patients in this.
You know. So one of this guy yesterday who was
on with Scott Galloway, and Scott Galloway can't stand he's
not a fan of Trump things. You just can't stand Trump.
(01:06:44):
And one of the things that they were talking about,
which I found to be fascinating, which I don't understand
why more people don't in business don't do this is
everybody in the world focused on the butt. And I'm
not talking about the what what but I'm talking talking
about the butt. What about this butt? Yeah, I totally
agree to that. But Trump did the exact opposite. He heard, yes,
(01:07:08):
we agree to that, but he never heard anything past yet. Yes,
he never heard anything. He didn't care. You know why
cause he took a playbook out of what Reagan used
to do. Reagan used to always say this, they agreed
to this, great, they didn't agree to that. I don't care.
We can get the rest later. We've got a yes. Now,
let's go do this. The must Halves were give back
(01:07:33):
our hostages. They did the living hostages are back. Everything
else could be sorted out later. Everybody focused on the
butt when it came to this. Very few focused on
the yes. Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four
to twenty three at chev Budson Shows, your ex your

insta urban word of the day straight ahead. But first
relief Factor took relief fact a little while ago.
Speaker 11 (01:08:01):
Why is that?
Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
Because so in between me doing the things that I
do here and my shows, I have built a mini
gym inside of the podcast studio here. And I will
tell you what, guys, I'm getting after it because I'm
trying to get fit, trying to drop some more of
that weight, getting ready from a big pickabole. I will
tell you what's great is I'm working out every single
(01:08:22):
day and feeling amazing. Thank you very much. Relief Factor Boom.
It is a win. I feel incredible no matter how
much weight I lift, no matter what I do with
my body, I'm not in pain. A little sore here
and there, but it's nothing compared to as we all know,
little overexertion. Next thing you know, I can't do anything
for three days not with relief Factor. Early factor is incredible.
(01:08:43):
Four key ingredients Omega three fatty acids, risveritol, Cuseman and Karen.
And what did they do? They support the body's inflammatory
response from a different metabolic pathwaight, meaning they come at
it in four different ways. Take care of that inflammation
in your body. You're gonna feel amazing. I do so,
(01:09:05):
this is all I want to do. Try a three
week quick start. I wouldn't steer you wrong. Nineteen ninety five.
It's less than a cup of coffee day. You will
experience the difference. You will feel the difference in a
major way. Go to relief Factor dot com. That is

Urban word of the day, among other things. Straight ahead.
This is the one the only accept nothing less. There
may be fakes out there, do not accept those. This
is the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 22 (01:09:52):
Welcome to chatt No, not the country, the institution, The
Chat Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:09:59):
I'm not a plague in enthusiasts. Measles are on the rise.
Speaker 10 (01:10:03):
Since late August, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
has been reporting an average of twenty seven new measles
cases each week, more than fifteen hundred altogether nationwide. Health
and Human Services Secretary of Robert F. Kennedy, a long
time vaccine skeptic, is nonetheless encouraging people to get vaccinated
against measles.
Speaker 2 (01:10:21):
Wow, look at that. I thought he hated that. He doesn't.
There's nothing wrong with being a little bit more cautious
when you put certain things in your body. I don't
have a problem with that. Do I think some of
the stuff he says is wacky? I do. The fact
the other day you thought thailandol was a serious issue
when it came to autism, the fact that he brought
up circumcision. They have double the rate of autism. So
(01:10:47):
which is it. Do I not take tylandol if I'm
a woman, or if it's a you know, well I'm
not but you know, or do we don't circumcise him
because they could get on the spectrum. If you took
Thailand and you had your kids circle, I can't do
anything about it. It's over. Oh jeez, crazy crazy. Indeed,
speaking of crazy, it is one of our favorite things
(01:11:07):
to do. We like to teach you guys how to duck.
To the youth of America. We call it the urban
word of the day.
Speaker 23 (01:11:13):
Know, it's time for the urban word of the day.
The young have a vocabularity all their own, and we
break it down for you. It's called the urban word
of the day.
Speaker 2 (01:11:25):
They do have a vocabulary all their own. You know.
I know because I live with youths. Some of the
stuff they say to me is crazy. I look at
them like, what the hell are you talking about? Although
I will say this one. I saw this one the
other day and they were like what. I'm like, you
guys would not know this one. They know what catfishing is,
so you know what catfishing is. This one's great chat fishing.
(01:11:45):
So this is where you go on a date. Right,
you meet somebody like, oh my god, this person's perfect.
They've got with emotionally, they're super deep, they're incredible. Then
you realize, no, no, it's not them. It was the
chat bot. That was the thing you fell in love with.
Chat fishing is your urban word of the day. That
(01:12:06):
was the urban word of the day. Now you know,
always good to know. Three two, three, twenty four to
twenty three at Chad Benson shows your Acts, your instant YouTube,
Facebook and more. Ready in the Chad Benson Show, coming
up our number three of the program, or Buddy Mike
Liin's going to join the program. We're going to talk
to him about all the things going on, what did
(01:12:26):
he think about yesterday, and also get his take on
the military no pay because he's got a kid that's
in the military, as well as him being from the military,
and what does he think of all of this stuff.
We'll talk about that. Some interesting info about the shooter
in Dallas at the Ice facility let's just say not
all there. Talk a little bit about that as well
(01:12:48):
as voting and immigration, the immigration situation when it comes
to deportations. I mean, the look isn't good, and we
live in a world where looks kind of matter. We'll
talk about that among other things. Straight ahead. This is
the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (01:13:04):
This is the Chad Benson Show. The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:13:33):
It's very interesting. So I read a lot of stuff
during the day, and my uncle and I always fight
over he thinks twenty twenty was stolen. I think, you
know what, you had opportunities to prove it. You didn't
prove it. Well, why does it take so long? Why
does it do this, that and the other? Why does
it you know? And it's just you didn't prove it. Now, look,
(01:13:54):
if you could have proved it, I wouldn't have said no.
I mean you could have said there was some funny
stuff that happened. But still, but one of the things
that made me, you know, as I try to explain him,
because he's always like, why does it take so long?
Why can a country you know, like this size do
their elections in one day and we can't, I said, dude,
do you realize how incredibly blessed we are because we
(01:14:18):
get to vote on everything like it or not, and
it brought me to this. This is reading today all
of the stuff that Texas, for instance, seventeen statewide propositions
to consider on the November ballot seventeen seventeen. Everything from
(01:14:38):
no capital gains like that one animal feed exemption, totally,
no security tax, what inherit tax man?
Speaker 7 (01:14:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:14:45):
Keep going. So so I did a deep dive because
I'm an odd bird. Japan, maybe three or four things
they'll vote on. Germany partial list of things that they
vote on. Everything centralized, okay, France one to three, one
(01:15:10):
to three items like you know, races, United Kingdom one
to two races. I've been there, also centralized. They can
get it done overnight. Most of these things get it
done very fast. One two days. Canada. As far as
the ballot, these are ballot complexities one to two races,
centralized again the United States, twenty eight to fifty items,
(01:15:37):
decentralized mail in ballots. We can go on and on.
So if you want to vote on just the president,
you can have those results back pretty fast. If you
want to be able to vote on all the other
things and you don't care about what the time is,
(01:15:58):
well then there you go. So like nobody was upset
in twenty two one. I can't believe that bond passed.
Nobody was upset about that. No way that bond passed,
and they should have. Can't believe that California's still driving
to build that stupid ass train. But I just got
me laughing because I'm sitting there, going seventeen. This is
(01:16:20):
a mid you know, this is this is the ballot's
going out in November. There's gonna be seventeen things for Texas.
This isn't like the presidential one when everybody's you voted on,
you know, the twelfth district judge, who's the sheriff over here,
who's the the dog catcher. We vote on all of
those things. And you ever noticed too, because you think
(01:16:42):
you start out pretty high, you like, I'm voting for
all these things, and by the second page like I
really don't care about it. I don't even know who
these people are, like ce ce see. And then you
get to the point where it's like you don't even
fill it out the end. They should make you fill
it out all the way and that if you don't,
they send it back to you as say you didn't finish. Ooh,
(01:17:03):
speaking of Texas and immigration. Was We're going to touch
on a second, the Wakadu who shot at the ice facilities.
We're learning more about him. Let's just say elevator not
all the way to the top.
Speaker 10 (01:17:15):
Within the past five years, according to records obtained by
the AP, Joshua E. Yan moved to Washington State to
work at a legal cannabis farm. When he returned, his
parents said Yan was convinced that he had radiation sickness
and wore gloves to avoid contact with plastics. On September
twenty fourth, Yan took a rifle to a rooftop in
Dallas and took aim at a van outside the adjacent
(01:17:37):
ICE office, killing two detainees and wounding a third before
taking his own life.
Speaker 2 (01:17:42):
It sounds like Joshua Yan when he came back, didn't
have radiation poisoning. It sounded like he had crazy and
mom and dad apparently missed crazy when he lived at
their house at almost thirty years old, and he didn't
come out of his freaking room.
Speaker 10 (01:18:02):
According to his own parents, was a loner obsessed with
artificial intelligence. Documents obtained by the AP show the twenty
nine year old spent most of his time in his
bedroom at his parents' house in suburban Dallas. Steam, a
game distribution platform, shows Yon log more than eleven thousand
hours on first person shooter and survival games.
Speaker 2 (01:18:22):
I'm assuming that's a lot. I have no idea that
maybe a lot, And I don't know if you draw
the parallel between first person shooter, that's all a bunch
of blooney. I think we all know that. But I'm
more concerned with the fact that he's living in his room,
mom and dad, and you're doing nothing. He's living in
his room and not one of you went, oh, are
(01:18:48):
you going to come out today? Have you met a
nice girl? Have you thought about shower? You didn't think
any of that. I was putting that out there. He
came home from the cannabis farm wearing, you know, gloves,
saying that he had radiation poisoning. Remember that was one
(01:19:10):
of the big things. He was telling all of his
friends when he was leaving notes behind that he was dying.
He thought he had lung cans or whatever. So again,
another way can do and he You never thought it's
odd that our kids wearing gloves all the time, thinks
that he has radiation poisoning. It'll be fine, he'll grow
out of it. No, he didn't. He didn't. Meanwhile, speaking
(01:19:33):
of immigration, the look of things, you know, the old saying,
it's not what you say, it's how you say it.
Immigration is one of those things a lot of people
were all about. You know what, these people are here legally,
(01:19:55):
let's get him out. Trump saying he's going to be
out the worst first. Oh, that's a great idea. Then
lo and behold, that isn't happening. The worst first isn't
getting caught, and the jails, prisons. Nobody's cooperating with ice,
so ice is taking to the streets, and that is
causing a lot of people to be uncomfortable with what
(01:20:18):
it looks like. And that is understandable. Nobody wants to
see how the sausage is made.
Speaker 24 (01:20:24):
The way it looks is horrific. It looks when you're
just arresting people in front of their kids and just
normal regular people that have been here for twenty years. Yeah,
that everybody who has a heart can't get along with that. Now,
everybody who has a heart sees that and go, that
can't be right.
Speaker 2 (01:20:43):
They can't be right.
Speaker 24 (01:20:44):
They can be the only way to do this right,
because you have to think, look, yeah we have to
have a border. Yes it should have been secure. Yes
they should make sure you know who everybody is before
they get in. Yeah, but when people been here for
twenty years, like, come on, that's crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:21:02):
Yeah, it's crazy. And I saw something yesterday I thought
that cannot be real. I had a double triple check
because you have to do that nowadays. AI is so amazing.
You have to. And I didn't like it. They rammed
into a car that they thought was ramming into them,
dragged a woman out of the car who was an
(01:21:24):
American citizen who they thought. I don't know what they thought.
I don't I have no idea what they thought. But
they drag her out, they jump on top of her,
they get her all cuffed up, and she is not
we're not talking about you know, this is the look
(01:21:46):
is awful. So she's an American citizen. And while that's
all going on, you've got a bunch of dudes who
are standing there with their long rifles and it looks
like it's a military zone. That is not a look
that is going to win over the people, it is
(01:22:07):
it because you still need the people. What you did
at the border is incredible. But understand that while Portland
is crazy, we all acknowledge that right Portland doing Portland,
all those naked people riding around the bikes the other day,
I wouldn't have done it, But you know what, congratulations,
I'm glad you feel that way about yourself. The reality
(01:22:30):
of the look translates to how people feel, and if
they're not feeling it, it's not what you say, it's
how you say it. Well, currently you're saying something that
you know what. They may feel that they want you
to say that they just don't want to hear it.
You may tell the world that I don't want to
(01:22:50):
hear it, I don't want to see it that way,
and it was not a good look. It wasn't And
how many times do we have to say. You're starting
to see more and more people go, well, you know,
I'm an American citizen. They pulled me over, they wouldn't
listen to anything I had to say, and they put
me inside of a holding facility, then into some sort
(01:23:14):
of jail facility, and I didn't hear from people for
several days. You're hearing that more and more. I get
the frustration of the way that these big cities operate
in the fact that you want to get the worst
first and we can't. But you also have to recognize
there's a way of handling things that is going to
(01:23:35):
endear you to the population in a much better way
and not having a heart and people go, I can't
believe you loop no, no, no, no, no, I'm being honest.
You want to win elections, these are the things you've
got to do. You can be a human being and tough,
you can, but if you want to win elections, some
(01:23:59):
of this stuff it isn't going to help you. It
isn't Let me know what you think. Three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show, Is
Your ex your Insta YouTube and more? Coming up? We
got a little war itch trending. Top of that are
Buddy Mike Lions military analysts going to join the program.
We're going to talk about the military and how they're
being used in many ways by both parties when it
(01:24:22):
comes to the shutdown. We're also going to talk to
them obviously about the big day yesterday, what the future holds,
as well as all the other things including Venezuela, but first,
speaking of issues gold, Yeah, Gold's important. Diversification is absolutely
key and gold can help you get there. That's why
(01:24:44):
I want you to talk to my buddies. Overt Birch

would love to talk to you. All you have to
do to get the information is text the word Benson

you out the information. Let you take a look at
why diversify with gold is incredible. Central banks people are
flooding away from them. They're looking for ways to protect themselves.
(01:25:05):
They feel like there's maybe a bubble there when it
comes to a lot of these markets, they feel like
there's more unrest out there. Gold can help protect you.
So what are you waiting for? It's absolutely free to
get the information. All you have to do is text them.
Text the word Benson to ninety eight ninety eight ninety eight.
Now they'll get you out the information. You could talk
to them about whether or not you like the physical

Speaker 1 (01:26:29):
You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:26:32):
Now it's time to find out what's trending. What's trending?
Speaker 25 (01:26:37):
James Dean, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar.
Speaker 11 (01:26:48):
Russia, Sir.
Speaker 14 (01:26:53):
J Boom, what trupphy.
Speaker 2 (01:27:00):
It's fine, I was trending on the webs of the
Internet on this most festiv of Tuesdays. Let's start with
ex Columbus No one training thing of the last twenty
plus hours of Columbus Day. Yes, that's the one. You know.
What's funny is the right and the left battle over
Columbus and what meme they can put up. And the
(01:27:22):
left of course has him is the most evil human
being of all time, which we know is a bunch
of bs, and the right has him as a great
American hero. He was not American because there was no
American I just want to point that out. He was
Italian and he sailed for Spain. When he came here,
he was married to a Portuguese woman and lived a
(01:27:42):
vast majority of his life in Lisbon. Not an American. Ooh, Falcons, bears,
Josh Allen, President Trump, Middle East Snell baseball player, Indigenous
People Day that was also like Columbus Day, all those
things trending in the magical world of X over to Yahoo.
Alaska flooding. Nobody's talking about it. I mean, if you've
(01:28:06):
not seen the typhoon that smashed into Alaska, most people haven't.
Crazy Alec Baldwin car crash, James Franklin fired by Penn
State fifty million. I just want to remind everybody there's
a good walking around money for your for you. James
and Superwood scientists created a superwood that's ten times stronger
(01:28:29):
than steal and six times lighter. What over to Google
number one training thing and air ferial Commanders, Falcons, oh
Honduras Haiti Soccer World Up qualifying Alec Baldwin. Brian Callahan
was the coach yesterday of the Tennessee Titans. Is not
(01:28:52):
the coach of the Tennessee Titans. He was fired three two,
twenty four to twenty three at Chet Benson Show. Is
your X your insta YouTube and more? Right here in
the Chad Benson Show. Doug Lepta, I don't know if
(01:29:13):
I pronounce that right. He was the founder and CEO
of Lending Tree died yesterday an ATV accident over the weekend.
It's just some of the things trending in the magical
world of the Internet. From here, we leave the Internet
and the planet and we go to space with SpaceX XX,
(01:29:33):
SpaceX X triple x now just one X, just one X.
Speaker 26 (01:29:37):
SpaceX says the latest test flight of its Starship rocket
was a complete success. Elon Musk's company launching the rocket
last night from the Texas coast, the huge rocket climbing
to the edge of space and then deploying eight fake satellites. Then,
as planned, it exploded as it came down into the
Indian Ocean. SpaceX says this is the second straight successful
(01:29:58):
test flight. The goal here is for the starship to
carry astronauts to the Moon and eventually to Mars.
Speaker 2 (01:30:04):
That's what they want you to believe. They want you
to believe that those were fake, but they were real.
Were they?
Speaker 11 (01:30:09):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:30:10):
There's a lot of stuff floating around in space. It
is becoming a junk yard. We're going to start having
to build lanes up there. They probably already have a
certain way they do lanes, but you guys get where
I'm going with this. It is a junk yard of
just stuff floating around. We're going to be on our
way to the Moon, though, so that'll be good. And
that's the first time we've ever been there. I'm kidding
goodness me. I'm excited. I'm excited about going back to
(01:30:34):
the Moon. I'm not going because that's somebody else's job,
but I'm excited. Speaking of excitement, our buddy Mike lyons
military analysts tired from major and the Army's going to
join the program. We're going to talk about all the
doings from yesterday, peace in the Middle East, what's next,
what's going on with China, as well as what's happening
obviously with Russia. We'll do that straight ahead. Chad Benson Chow.
Speaker 22 (01:31:00):
The Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Shows.
Speaker 2 (01:31:23):
That time of the week. We talked to the best
damn military analysts in the business, Mike Liines, retired major
in the Army, and man, we can't I tell everybody.
You can't even really put into words how big yesterday was.
Trump America, all of the stuff in the Middle East.
Doesn't mean it's gonna hold, doesn't mean it's gonna be
(01:31:43):
perfect forever, but just really the way that this has
gone down is pretty damn amazing.
Speaker 12 (01:31:50):
Yeah, Chad, no question that we saw something we've not
seen in our lifetimes with the possibility of having some
kind of piece there. But from a military respective, Israel
has got to, you know, continue to be on the
watch and recognize that there's still the fact that Hamas
has to disarm itself, it has to give up some
(01:32:11):
of its ministry supports and if it would like to
participate in this political process. It's not going to be
the same as it was before. I think we're at
the beginning of the beginning. The President did not miss
an opportunity to take you know, take a victory lab
for this. But you know, my conservative side of me,
if you looked at old foreign policies, it might have
been a little bit premature. But let's hope the momentum
(01:32:34):
continues and it can hold for the next phase of this,
this ceasefire and operation.
Speaker 2 (01:32:40):
You know, it's very interesting. I've said for the last
couple of weeks, the worst thing that BB's done, I mean,
he's done some stuff that let's be real, there's some
serious issues here in the way that he's at times
handled some of the stuff. But the bombing of cutter
Has was easily the issue that really pushed this thing forward,
(01:33:01):
especially when you see the fact that heg Seth and
he cove got the whole thing with our partnership and
them using our bases and stuff, and it's I think
he really overstepped there.
Speaker 5 (01:33:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (01:33:12):
Yeah, And that the fact that the Air of Nations
saw that the President you know, kind of tried to
you know, put him back in his place.
Speaker 5 (01:33:19):
A little bit on that.
Speaker 12 (01:33:21):
But but there's no question that this new foreign policy
the United States has is leading from the front, leading
for military power. Trump is the president of It's just
classic Teddy Roosevelt gumbo diplomacy. Speaks softly, carry a big stick,
wants peace, wants us to go, but is willing to
do what it takes. Willing to go after the Iranian capability.
(01:33:41):
And then in this case, you know, let's Israel kind
of off the leash to do that, but then it
wheels them back and says, Okay, they'll never do that again.
But the fact that they did do it just shows
that their capability that they can. But but it did,
it did prove some kind of a rally point. I
think to your point that that got a lot of
the things moving in this Direction's.
Speaker 2 (01:34:00):
Talking to my client's military analysts, we talk about all
things military. We moved from there too. Obviously, what's going
on Russia Ukraine. I think Zelensky's coming out here on Friday.
Trump seems to have had enough of the powter and
I've read several things that say, you know, the people
I think would be fine in Russia if this is
(01:34:21):
where it ended up. But it seems like the military
itself seems to be the one pushing Putin to continue
to move forward.
Speaker 5 (01:34:28):
No, it sure is.
Speaker 12 (01:34:29):
And I saw something yesterday from Institute of Study of
War that said that the Kremlin is preparing to mobilize
reservists really on a rolling basis, which is you know,
code for they're not you know, giving up the human
element of this anytime soon. They've got this, They've got
kind of two kinds of reservists. They've got this higher
readiness human mobilization reserve of an active force, which you know,
(01:34:51):
they signed these recruits to longer contracts. It makes them,
you know, they pay them a little bit more. And
then they've got this the inactive reserve where they'll just
basically grab anybody that's between the ages you know of
you know, eighteen to seventy and certain certain custis. So
I think Russia is not stopping anytime as soon as
(01:35:13):
what there was what the message is overnight there was
missile tacks into hospitals as well, so that they continue.
Speaker 5 (01:35:19):
To propagate this war.
Speaker 12 (01:35:22):
This is as if not more difficult for the president
to think he's just going to step in and decide
that he's going to change the battlefield position anytime soon.
Speaker 5 (01:35:30):
In order to get Russia to the negotiation table.
Speaker 2 (01:35:33):
You could tell everybody you're going to pay him a
million dollars. Mike, it's it's a meat grider man. Nothing's
gonna You're not coming back from this for the most part.
Speaker 12 (01:35:42):
Well, Russia has this advantage because they send the troops
there and there's not a lot to say because obviously
it's not a democracy, it's in a dictatorship from that level.
So from a military perspective, and that's why I think
you get the performance you get from the soldier that's there.
They don't care, they don't they're not fighting for anything.
They don't have anyway, They're just trying to survive day
(01:36:04):
to day. We see instances all the time of military
units not you know, not obeying orders. So that's the
advantage that these Western militaries have. They have something to
fight for, and that defines the Ukraine military. But that's
still at the end of the day, Russia has more
bodies to throw at this than Ukraine does.
Speaker 2 (01:36:22):
Talking to my clients, military analysts, best to military analysts
into business China. China is taking his head on into
trade war man, and they don't seem to be blinking
an eye. Last week they sent a letter basically to
all our allies and trading partners said yeah, I don't
work with America anymore. They suck, They're awful. This is
getting a little bit more uncomfortable, and I feel like
they would be happy with us to be bogged down
(01:36:43):
somewhere because I think she looks and goes, you know what,
I'm going to call you a bluff that we can
go take Taiwan. You can't do anything. No.
Speaker 12 (01:36:51):
I think there's a validity to that, and I think
that the United States will not necessarily get bogged down
in Europe. Well, there's talk talk about sending the Tomahawk
missiles there on. They'll have to be modified because that's
a weapon system primarily for submarines and warships, and so
I know that there's an army modification for that, but
I don't I don't think that the US has taken
(01:37:12):
its signe off the ball.
Speaker 5 (01:37:12):
For the Pacific.
Speaker 12 (01:37:14):
You're seeing much more activity with US, the Australian military,
the Japanese military as well, that they're running a tremendous
amount of exercises.
Speaker 5 (01:37:22):
But the Chinese.
Speaker 12 (01:37:22):
Continue to I believe, you know, try to in the
South China Sea, ramming ships and projecting power from their
navy and their gunbo diplomacy that's going on there. You
also have their alliance with North Korea. I saw I
report about a new solid fuel ICBM rocket they rolled
(01:37:43):
out at a parade. So so you know, China and
North Korea continue to try to flex their muscles in
the Pacific. But I still still think deep down mentally
they're disarmed. They won't do anything until they really feel
like they have to.
Speaker 2 (01:37:57):
So we move from there to South America. Man, I
saw stuff this weekend. See that we've got some stuff
over there in Trinidad, which is like what six miles
or whatever to Venezuela. I mean, there's no doubt. I
saw that we have our spy planes in the air
and they're looking for It. Just feels like, as all
this other stuff's going on, that Rubio and a few
of the others they've got their plans, they're ready to roll.
(01:38:19):
It's not if but when.
Speaker 5 (01:38:21):
Yeah, I think you're right about that, and that.
Speaker 12 (01:38:25):
This is all Rubio in thinking that this is an
interdiction with the drug trade, will make some kind of
an impact.
Speaker 5 (01:38:33):
Now, this happened back in the eighties as well. People
forget that.
Speaker 12 (01:38:37):
But Reagan did authorize the military to go and I
worked on a little bit of a task force with
an officer back then on what they were trying to do,
and they thought they were going to be able to
use the military to make sure that to try to
stop some of the drugs that were taking place there.
But right now, we still don't have enough of a
(01:38:57):
logistical base. We really don't, and I don't I don't
believe that that that what you're seeing is more for
projecting power as opposed to actual power. I think that
these cartels will do other things and they'll either lay
low for a while, but these few strikes are not
going to put them out of business anytime soon.
Speaker 2 (01:39:16):
Talking to Mike A Lion's military analysts, if we were
to go into Venezuela, let's just say there's, you know,
a possibility, because you never know. And again, I think
there's a lot to it. I think Rubio and them
are really running a lot more. I think Hegseth's just
kind of sitting there and I think these guys are
running a lot more of this stuff. If we were
to go in there. You know, we're not Mike, you
know this man. We're great at the first part of
regime change. We're not always sticking the landing on the
(01:39:39):
second part.
Speaker 12 (01:39:40):
Yeah, let's hope that we don't do that. For that
exact reason. You know, I defer back to you know,
Casper Weinberg or Colin Powell. If you're going to deploy
the military, you know clear objectives, you know a time
zone that you think that's going to work, and duration's
going to work, overwhelming power, exits, all those things that
(01:40:01):
were lost for the past twenty to twenty five years,
frankly in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Speaker 5 (01:40:05):
So I don't know what that looks like.
Speaker 12 (01:40:07):
And I don't think regime change is a good idea either,
because that's never worked out well for US.
Speaker 5 (01:40:11):
You look back in history.
Speaker 12 (01:40:13):
If it's just nothing more than this counter narcotics interrediction mission,
well then that's kind of go on forever. That becomes
a military policing action. So that's likely what this administration
is looking.
Speaker 5 (01:40:27):
At right now.
Speaker 12 (01:40:28):
But you'd have to bring all four services into this
fight Marines, Navy, Army, and the Air Force in order
to ensure victory. But you'd have to tell me what
victory looks like, what exactly what that is. And if
it's regime change, then I'm a friend. We're in for
a long slog no matter what.
Speaker 2 (01:40:44):
Okay, heg Seth, just explain to everybody what's going on
with Cutter with all of this stuff, because there was
so much confusion, and he really brought it upon himself
with you know, we're giving him a base, so that's
not really what's happened. Explain to everybody what's going on
with them. Because we have partnerships with all kinds of
militaries across the globe. Yeah, I saw that.
Speaker 12 (01:41:07):
I think I think that was a reciprocal for what
we're trying to do something new here, a partnership with
the Middle Eastern country that we had on before. I mean,
we have partnerships with our NATO countries and they have
certain locations here that they work and especially in and
we the same overseas here. So I think that situation
(01:41:29):
is more or less just something new that they're trying
out and they can they can trust that country go
only because it's it's smaller, doesn't have a great military,
but it provides more or less a liaison.
Speaker 5 (01:41:40):
It elevates.
Speaker 12 (01:41:43):
Qatar and it elevates them, which is they want to
be in the world, and likely part of this agreement
with with Israel and Goza making sure that you know,
they have that that projection of the fact that they're
so close to the United States. And but at the
end of the day, it's not it's not going to
mean anything more.
Speaker 5 (01:41:59):
We're going to work together.
Speaker 12 (01:42:00):
I guess some of the your frames that eventually come
back to Qatar, but but again it's more or less
I think that's to project up that country in order
for US as payback for what they did for Israel
and Gosiel.
Speaker 2 (01:42:14):
Mike, you watch you're obviously a military guy, tired army.
You look out there, you see what's going on right
now with the government shut down. You hear that the
soldiers aren't getting paid. You know, they're already we've seen
him in food lines, which doesn't help at this moment
of time. And they're already it's not like they get
paid a lot of money anyways. So how what's the
morale like? What's that like? Because you feel like a
(01:42:35):
political football in this situation where you you know, you
really have no say over any of these things. But
there you are, You're stuck in the middle of it,
and you feel like both sides are using you for
pictures to try to get the other side to the table.
Speaker 12 (01:42:48):
Now, no question, and I have got, you know, vested interests,
and as my son's in a military and I work
on a military base, and so you could see the
effects of the shutdown on a military base, as some
of the services have been discontinued for now, there is
where there will be an issue. There will be people
that slide through the cracks when the military doesn't get
(01:43:09):
paid here on the fifteenth tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (01:43:10):
I think that I think that that the commanders have
prepared for it.
Speaker 12 (01:43:15):
I know the President said he's moving money from one
budget line to another, and I'm watching Democrats complain about
that is just beyond the pal to me complain that
the military is not going to get paid. I think
the money will come in a few days later, is
what I'm is what I understood. But commanders have been
prepping for this. It'll get a lot worse in the
next two weeks because.
Speaker 5 (01:43:32):
I think he runs out of money then.
Speaker 12 (01:43:34):
But overall, the military is very accepting of the political
situation as that, unfortunately was one of those I believe
pawns that the Democrats tried to use against the President
to shut down, but it looks like he outmaneuverd them
by trying to get them paid within the next few days.
Speaker 2 (01:43:49):
Indeed, my man best damn military analysts, business Dride, Major
Army and always great to have you deal. Let's do
it again next week.

Number fourteen today Chad Benson, Joe.
Speaker 22 (01:45:36):
Deep States No Deep doo doo e The Chat Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:45:43):
All Right, it's time to get scary have some scary
good fun. Number fourteen on the Scary Movie Countdown. If
you're claustrophobic, do not watch this movie. Let's do it.
Speaker 13 (01:45:56):
The time has come, so prepare yourself for a chat
journey of fear from the darkest corner of cinema, the
most bone chilling.
Speaker 2 (01:46:05):
Tales ever told. It's the countdown you've been waiting for.
Which movie will take the top spot?
Speaker 13 (01:46:14):
How about a fish tail so big because the jaws
open wide?
Speaker 2 (01:46:23):
Or the story of a young innocent girl battling evil
with some help.
Speaker 5 (01:46:30):
Well, then let's introduce ourselves. I'm Demon Karas.
Speaker 10 (01:46:33):
And I'm that devil.
Speaker 2 (01:46:35):
You'll have to listen to find out. Are you ready?
Number forty all right? Number fourteen today is a creeper.
If you are a claustrophobic, do not watch this movie.
The movie has been called one of the greatest one
hundred horror movies in the last one hundred years. It
is called The Descent. It is based on six women
(01:46:58):
who decide to go plunking. They go down to the
caves and they're going to an unchartered cave system. When
they get in there, they find out, you know what,
maybe uh maybe we were We're not alone, right lady?
Speaker 11 (01:47:19):
Down there, it's pitch black, gotta bay, It's.
Speaker 14 (01:47:28):
There's only one way out of his chamber and that's
down the pipe. Guys, is Sarah? I think she might
be stuck. Okay, move I saw someone.
Speaker 13 (01:47:51):
Come.
Speaker 14 (01:47:53):
We'll save here, We'll die.
Speaker 2 (01:48:00):
Absolutely amazing. Neil Marshall directs it. Amazing director. They built
sound stages. They want to do caves. Originally it was
just too dangerous. It is frightening. They use infrared and
red lighting to make sure that you see the claustrophobia
of being stuck in some of these places, and of
course the monster is more about the hearing and the
quick shots of it. It is terrifying. And here's the
(01:48:22):
other thing. UK has a different ending than the US.
One very bleak, the other with a glimmer of hope.
If you like movies where there's a creature or a monster,
you really can't tell what it is and is frightening
because of the mind and you're also not afraid of claustrophobia.
The descent is terrifying. The tagline fear runs deep, and
(01:48:43):
in this it absolutely does. Number fourteen on the Scary
Movie Countdown. The Descent at Chad Benson Show is your acts,

you are submitting stuff. Have you seen this? Have you
