Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
So what happens now with the Pooter and Zelenski and
Trump and the stuff, And now that all the excitement's
over and they had the meeting in Alaska, that the
big meeting the other day, you know, in DC with
all the people right there's Maroni there, and there's you know,

(00:37):
kirs Stammer and the Krone and everybody's there. What happens now,
that's a good question. Well, they're going to meet in
a couple of weeks. You know, what's happening more and more.
There is no reason for the pooter to stop. I
said that a couple of times yesterday. And you know,

(00:59):
of course, had you know, our buddy michae lions On,
greatest military analysts in the world, and he said the
same thing. You know right now, there's just no reason.
And I tell you what, I tell you what the
insanity of some people out there. You're not even thinking
about how great this meeting was. They were two meetings

(01:22):
and it was great, and it's a step forward. But
it's no more than that. Nothing has changed, zero zilch
n a. Not a thing has changed, and the Pewter
continues to do what they do which is continue to

(01:44):
go after Ukraine and onslaught on a daily basis, and
it's like he's getting stronger. And we did ask Mike
yesterday if you listen to show Michaelien's our military analysts,
he said, the chances of them, could they get to
key it would probably take a year plus for them
to get to Keef, maybe even longer. So the chances

(02:08):
in that doom doing that and the amount of people
they would lose, and then occupation would be a nightmare.
If they really wanted it in this kind of ground
force way, they could have come through Belarus and tried
something different. So he says, that's not it. They're just
going to continue to bombard them day after day, beat them. Essentially,
they're not going to get a knockout knockout. They want

(02:29):
that technical knockout where eventually what happens in boxing, So boxing,
you know you get knocked out, you know what that is,
person's out right hit them, boom down they go. The
technical knockout is they're still on their feet, but they're
no longer fighting back and the referee steps in and
says it's over. So and I think that's what people
are looking for. The assurances is another big deal. And

(02:54):
the other day it was, well, we're definitely going to
be a part of this, and you know, boots on
the ground. No, not so fast, Not so fast.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
The President has definitively stated US boots will not be
on the ground in Ukraine, but we can certainly help
in the coordination and perhaps provide other means of security
guarantees to our European allies. The President understands security guarantees
are crucially important to ensure a lasting piece.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
It is because if you're going to give up part
of your land for whatever reason, this is because they
took it from you, so you're gonna give it up.
And there's and you know what's funny. I mean, my
uncle and I did a video last night. We'll get
little bit more into it, and he's like, well, it
was Russia's first and I'm like, you go back, if
we're going to do this, go back. They existed before Russia.

(03:42):
I mean, everybody's got a map about everything else. So
and eventually it became the giant parts of Russia, and
it was eventually the for a while, Kiev was the cap.
But that doesn't I mean, it's it's ridiculous to have

(04:06):
a conversation with people, well, this at one time was theirs,
and this it doesn't matter. There are people there now,
there are people dying on the daily basis to the
tunes of hundreds of thousands, probably well over a million
plus the exact number will probably never know. So we're
gonna have to give them some guarantee that should they

(04:31):
come to on agreements, and I don't even know when
that's gonna be, that we would have their back in
some way, shape or form. And a lot of people
thought it was gonna be boots on the ground. I
thought the Euros have the boots on the ground. I
don't want boots in Ukraine. I don't think anybody does.

(04:52):
Trump doesn't want to take that off the table. But
that's just not gonna happen. I mean, I'll never say never,
but it's like ninety nine percent sure that's not gonna
happen now. It could happen, you know, in a few years,
but Putin has that kind of time. Trump doesn't. Trump's
got three years and he's not running for a second term.
So yep, So then what you think Putin's going to go, Well,

(05:13):
he's done, he's leaved. No, he's not going anywhere. I
mean he could go somewhere earlier. Both of them could
the reality of look at the actuary tables. Nature is
not on their side when it comes to these numbers.
Putin could wait it out, have an uneasy kind of
truth and just wait. So where are we in this?
That's the big question.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
It is an option in a possibility. I won't certainly
rule out anything as far as military options that the
President has at his disposal.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
I'll let him do that.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
I can tell you he's definitively ruled out boots on
the ground.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
There you go in the air, drones thanks of that
nature absolutely possibility for any of that happens. So they
got to get together, and you heard Mike, You've heard
several other experts. We've talked about it. I've talked to
other people inside the administration. I'm not saying never. I'm
a little bit more optimistic than Mike was. He's like,
that's never gonna happen. But I don't think it's going
to be as easy as people think. I think he

(06:07):
should get the Nobel Peace Prize. If you can get
those two guys in a room, let loone comes to
some sort of deal.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
What indications is the President getting from Putin that he
wants to have this meeting with Zelinsky soon, because.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
He spoke to him directly yesterday and he expressed that
Hailey Rotherland later he spoke to that directly yesterday, and
the President put that in his statement that he gave
to all of you the news media, knowing you'd be
asking following that conversation and the effort of transparency.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
They've said, by the way, the Kremlin niett on that,
because the White House reporting if they're going to get
together and meet, and you know, the way that Trump's
visioning is those two meet, then there's another bigger meeting. Yeah,
I don't think that's going to happen that way. I
think if they get together, Trump's going to be there.
I think he's got to be there. Three two, three, five, eight,
twenty four to twenty three atch had Benson show is

(06:53):
your extra instament? Meanwhile, we moved from there to Gaza.
Is continuing to be an absolute nightmare. And I bought
into a lot of the Israel crap for a long time,

(07:14):
and some of it was very real, but a lot
of it has turned out to be and I've never
been one of these people that all the palace to
use it and it's Hamas is evil and bad. Let's
just be honest about that. They're a disgusting, vile group
who did horrific things and have done horrific things. But
last night Michael and I we got into this. You
know and check out the podcast. I thank you, guys

(07:35):
will enjoy it. And we talked about it for like
an hour. We went back and forth. There is no
justification for what they're doing. There isn't There is no
justification for killing and targeting kids and killing innocence. There's
a difference between collateral damage and what they're doing now
and the thought of moving two and a half three

(07:58):
million people I don't even know who's left. Are you
moving just to people in Gaza? Are you moving to
West Bank? Because this feels like you're going to make
a bigger run at this and the Greater Israel project.
But they're not even pretending anymore. By the way, isn't
just Gaza and the West Bank. They're into Jordan. They're
into several places, Lebanon, Egypt. Good luck with that. I

(08:20):
want peace. I think most people want peace. I think
there's a group of people in Israel, the Little Hood
Party and uh Coud Party and the likes of Smodrich
and and Gurion and of course Nan Yahu who feel
that there is no time like the present to do this.

(08:43):
And I continue to say this, if you care about Israel,
as you know, look in a lot of people out there,
and I tell my friends this, who are really big dispensation, Listen,
this is what Christians do and stuff. I said, Well,
if you really care about Israel, just like you care
about a friend, somebody you care about your a loved one,
you will tell them the truth. And the truth is

(09:05):
this isn't a war anymore. This is revenge. This is
a slaughter. So this isn't a war. I keep saying,
how many times can you curb stop somebody? And that's
what's going on for lack of a better term, And
they've lost the moral high ground because people have finally
realized you guys are full of crap with your pr stuff.

(09:30):
You control our government and you have us backing you
up while you're committing atrocities with these idiot politicians that
are going over there and signing the bombs. That's just

(09:55):
who are you people. My frustration level is because I
deal with this every day, the battle I get from people,
the you know, the the Jewish organizations and all this
kind of because you can't you know, they don't want
you to criticize it. It's not criticize. I'm criticizing. Look,

(10:17):
we spend billions of dollars every year and give billions
of dollars to Israel every year. We have every right
to criticize them. And it has nothing to do with
them being Jews. It has zero to do with that.
It has to do with the actions on the ground,
and the actions are saying. We are watching atrocities in

(10:41):
real time as best we can get the coverage because
Israel will not allow journalist in, which is also screams
red flag for me. So when I talk to people

(11:01):
and debate them, I say, you know what, you tell
them what they want to hear. I'm telling what they
need to hear. They've lost a younger generation. They know
this is it. Once. These boomers are pretty much done.
They're done as far as all of the support they've
gotten from America. The vast majority of the world has
turned their back at this. They want no part of it,

(11:22):
and I don't blame them because I want no part
of it. Talk a little bit more about this later.
A lot of stuff still to get to today. Oklahoma,
what do you hear what they're doing with new teachers
who want to come there from some of them progressive states.
Oh yeah, webroots kids, Webroot. Let me tell you something.
You want to protect yourself. Of course you do, you'd

(11:43):
be foolish not to. Webroot is going to deliver that protection.
It's awesome. I'm telling you guys right now, think about this.
Think about car insurance, right, You shouldn't drive around without
car insurance. You'd worry about it. Same thing here with Webroot.

(12:51):
one hit Wonder Wednesday, among other things. Are you guys
ready for it? I know you are.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
Chad Benson Show, Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
We're always first to keep you abreast of everything. He said, abreast,
to keep you abreast of all the things going on
when it comes to nature, and that includes the weather.
Now it's time for the Chad Action News weather reports.
When weather weathers, we weather the storm, and we're weathering

(13:31):
the storm currently because it's ern.

Speaker 5 (13:34):
Evacuations are underway in North Carolina's outer banks as Hurricane
Aaron makes its way towards the east coast.

Speaker 6 (13:41):
Most people here are taken it pretty seriously.

Speaker 5 (13:43):
John Betsker says some of his neighbors plan to ride
out the storm, but he is heating the warnings.

Speaker 7 (13:49):
I've been told by other people that you know, the
surface quite a bit higher already and it's expected to double.

Speaker 5 (13:56):
Weaves are forecast to reach ten to fifteen feet and
even twenty feet in some areas. Life Threatening rip currents
are expected from Florida to Maine.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Don't go in the water. Shouldn't have to say that.
The nature messing you up thing kind of puts it
out there. And look, there are surfers that will because
that's what surfers do, and people that live for giant
waves and swells. I'm talking about the average families like, hey,
it's a great time for us to have a picnic
and to get out there in the water. But the
outer banks, that's the focus.

Speaker 8 (14:26):
The North Carolina and Outer Banks are really where we're
focusing on the biggest impacts from aarin. It's the farthest
kind of lip out there along that mid Atlantic seaboard.
So it's going to get maybe a little bit of rain,
it might have tropical storm force winds Wednesday into Thursday,
and then we're also going to have very large waves
and very severe and dangerous rip currents from this too.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
And the rip currents if you happen to be out there, okay,
tell you guys this, So you're out there, you're in
the water for whatever reason, you thought it was a
great time to go to the bank, to the outer
banks or anywhere near the ocean. And when there is
a hurricane, buy and you decide I'm going in the
water again. Not very bright, but whatever, And you're stuck
in a rip current. You don't swim backwards or forwards parallel, okay,

(15:13):
And as you do that, you will eventually get out
of the rip current. And rip currents aren't very big,
maybe one hundred feet at the most, usually probably twenty
to forty feet. So and it doesn't matter. Go left,
go right, whichever's easiest. Right, maybe your left handy, dug,
I want to swim this direct? Do it? Swim parallel.

(15:34):
Then once you're out of it, head into shore. Three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is
your ex your Insta, Facebook, YouTube as well? I see
a show go on the podcast right here in the
Chad Benson Show. How do you know that? Because I
grew up on the ocean. That's how I knew that. Bro,

(15:55):
have you been caught in one? I've been caught in several.
And then what do you do? Yes, swim left, or right.
Sometimes I win left, sometimes I win right. That's who
I am. Speaking of nature. We have Nature will mess
you up. Segment coming up a little bit later. You
will listen to this and you will say to yourself,

(16:15):
you know what You're right, Chad. I also want that
guy to be eaten so ridiculous. Roughgreens are uff greens
dot com slash Chad, Vitamins, minerals, probiotics, Omega three six night,
all this incredible stuff packed into an amazing supplement. If
you give your dog on a daily basis, think of
it as the fuel for their day. That's what I
love about rough Greens. One scoopa day changes your dog's

(16:37):
life in so many ways. I've been given my dog this. Well,
we've got two little ones, they're five and six. They're
just great dogs, and we give it to in the morning.
I will go take them out, they get back, I
give them their food and they'll look at me like,
why haven't you sprinkled it on? They love the taste
and you will love what it does for him. It's
live nutrition, live nutrients right in there that helps fuel

(16:59):
their day, helps with their aches and their pains and
their joints, their coats, their skin, their digestive track, yes,
their energy levels. Try a jumpstart trial back of rough
Greens today. All they ask you to do is cover
the cost of shipping. It's a twenty dollars value.

Speaker 9 (17:11):

you f f greens dot com slash chad, that's Roughgreens
dot com slash chad. You cover the cost of shipping
and get a jumpstar trial back of Roughgreens for free.
Roughgreens dot com slash chad. Here's that co chat coming up.
It's one hit Wonder Wednesday. They talk a little bit
about what's going on in Oklahoma schools. You want to

(17:33):
be a teacher and you're coming from a different place
where they got all those hippie liberals.

Speaker 10 (17:37):
Chad Benson, Jump Son, Chad Benson, Joe.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
As we get to what's going on in Oklahoma, I
want to remind everybody it is Wednesday. It's also a
white girl Wednesday. That's right, liberal white girls. And our
girl Kylie, she's awesome, she's the best. I still want
to get her on the show. She is going to
tell us all the horrible things that the whackadoo's out there,
and I will say this in her defense. I'm standing
up for because I know they're whackadoos out there that
say horrible things about her on the online side of stuff,

(18:26):
because they say horrible things about everybody, as we know.
But this is interesting.

Speaker 11 (18:32):
The craziest thing about being a feminist content creator, or
even a leftist is how many people treat me like
I'm a terrorist. In my free time, I'm a substitute teacher,
and I've gotten so many reports to the school district
where I sub that has genuinely made me worried about
getting fired. Have done nothing wrong, to be clear, I'm
an educational content creator and I talk about US history
and foreign policy. But many people on the right have
taken that as a direct threat on democracy and think

(18:54):
that I shouldn't be allowed to teach children because I
am not openly pro capitalism. The right talks about how
free America is, but this is what repression looks like.
When speaking the truth and trying to bring awareness to
certain issues gets you punished, while going in line with
the status quo and supporting white supremacy gets you protected.
There are literal NEOs that have threatened to for speaking

(19:15):
out against racism, and those people have had zero consequences.
And also they got my Instagram account banned and completely
censored for a month because they were masked reporting me
for child which I obviously didn't post. It genuinely shocks
me how many people have called me a communist and
said that I am anti American simply because I critique
our society.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
So the parts where you couldn't hear what she was saying,
she was saying stuff like rape and things like that.
People have said horrible things. Let's be honest. I'm gonna
be not not to her. I don't say and I
do not even really, you know, write anything. I'll put
something out there and maybe answer some stuff back if
people hit me up, but I don't. And by honest,
I mean how many of you go to the comments

(20:01):
there and I'm not talking for her. They're just awful,
you know. But she does say some insane stuff. But
watch Tom Sigara and his wife. I do the same thing. Man,
You trip over yourself when you go over to the
comments because the comments in many cases are so much

(20:23):
fun here anything else. I was watching this, the one
with Tom Sigir and his wife. So they just pick
a random you know, like somebody's just doing their day,
you know, like, hey, what's going on. And they've got
this this lady who she's a coffee shop and I
have you've ever seen it? She's like, hey, this is
being a small business owner who runs a coffee shop.

(20:43):
And you know, she's going to the gym and she's
a she's a she's a bigger girl, you know, a
little nutritionally overachieving, and she's a lesbian and she's going
to the gym and she talks about all the stuff
that she's doing throughout the day just like you know, hey,
I'm just living my life. Anything mean, horrible political nothing,
And you go on there and it's like the first

(21:05):
comment is like sending hate from Australia one hundred and
sixteen thousand likes, just horrible things. It is brutal. So
the stuff that they've said about her, even though her
ideas I find absolutely hilariously insane and wackado is wrong.
It is it is, But you know what I put

(21:26):
in the work every day getting better, trying to be
a better white person. If she wanted she's teacher, if
she wanted to teach in Oklahoma, she may have to
answer some questions out a svey because we got to
shearwy here if you're gonna come work in Oklahoma. They
don't sound like that. Actually that's not true. There are
some that sound like that. My buddy Ken who is

(21:51):
like my co host on Airbuddy on my local show,
he's from Oklahoma's got a great, great little Southern accent.
But the sir, they're interesting because they don't want any
that woke stuff here.

Speaker 12 (22:04):
Well, President Trump is in one fighting for fairness and
keeping the rest of the country from becoming this woke
dumpster fire that's in California.

Speaker 6 (22:12):
I'm State Superintendent Ryan Walters making another one of his
frequent Fox News field trips this week.

Speaker 12 (22:18):
The absurdity that Gavin Newsom is going to stand there
and say, girl, sorry, you're going to compete with boys.

Speaker 6 (22:24):
Working in all the standard buzzwords and talking points.

Speaker 12 (22:27):
These woke ideologus, these Marxists in under forty seconds. That's
why we announced today, if you're going to come from
California to Oklahoma to teach, we're going to make sure
you take a test and understand basic biology before you.
We let you in a classroom.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
Yeah, that's so, that's what they're doing. You know the
thing where they're gonna, what's a woman that's a man baby?
It's and they're buzzwords. Now. Ryan Walter, I think is
one of those guys that and there's a lot of them.
I see him all the time that he wants to
be a pelebrity, kiss up to Trump, talk about how
Maggie you are get yourself in a position where you

(23:01):
start to get interviewed all the time on Fox News
and Newsmax and One American News and any of that stuff.
It's and look, I I you know what I want
in school. Teach kids how to read. Okay, I don't
want indoctrination. Teach them how to read, teach them how
to do the basics, math, things of that nature. Let's

(23:25):
focus on those things. I don't want the woke, crazy
ideology and I don't want you preaching to my kids.
It's one of the reasons we homeschool the kids because
it got just crazy and insane in some of the
schools and so and plus we were traveling. We were
just traveling too much, and we were doing too much,
and we were going back and forth between states. So

(23:46):
we said homeschooling was better and and it and it
has been. You know, now, my my teenage daughter, she's
ready to you know, next year. I think she wants
to go to U High School because she wants the experience.
But I understand why people homeschool. I do. But this
stuff to me, when I hear this stuff, this is

(24:06):
just a noise grab. This guy wants people to make
him a pelebrity.

Speaker 6 (24:11):
In a press release this week, also complete with his
usual woke agendas, leftist propaganda, and radical ideologies phrasing, Walters
announced teachers from states having what he describes as progressive
education policies will have to take an assessment to ensure
they align with Oklahoma's commitment to fostering an America first
education in order to be certified to teach in Oklahoma,

(24:34):
saying it would test their knowledge of the US Constitution,
understanding of American exceptionalism, and grasp of fundamental biological differences
between boys and girls, an effort he says to protect
students from divisive ideologies and ensuring classrooms remain places of learning,
not in doctrination. And guess who he's having helped put
it together and we partner with Preger You on this.

(24:56):
Prager You the conservative nonprofit famous for making pl charged videos.
It bills as history education content.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
And some of them are. They give a different side.
Remember what I tell everybody, All kinds of history out there,
and usually whoever won got the rite the history. Try
to find out whoever lost and what their history was like,
just like the news. Then you put it together and go, Okay,
maybe it's not as cut and dry as we think.
Maybe it's not. I just I don't want indoctrination on

(25:27):
either side. Whatever happened to going to school When I
was a kid, I went to school. They taught some
things there. I learned some stuff sometimes I didn't. That
was mostly on me. I wasn't indoctrinated. It wasn't a
battleground for culture and wha could do agendas. I didn't

(25:48):
even know first of all, and I'm sure most of
you listening, especially up until high school. I didn't even
know if my teachers were married, who they voted for,
if they went to church outside of the church schools
I went to. Eventually my mom had to pay schools
to take me. That didn't last forever either. It's just
crazy that we have to have some sort of damn

(26:11):
litmus test now, Well, Chad is because we want the
world to be.

Speaker 1 (26:17):
America.

Speaker 2 (26:18):
Want everybody understand are exceptionalism. They understand it. That's why
so many people want to come here. But what if
these teachers did doctrinate Okay, I got and I always
take these things with the you know, with a grain
of salt, because I also know that there are so
many people that push this stuff, and I often wonder

(26:42):
how much of this do you believe? And how much
of this is great for your brand? Three two, three, five, eight,
twenty four to twenty three atch had Benson Show is
your extra insta coming up a little one hit wonder Wednesday.
But first, Birch Gold with all the chaos, the craziness,
the lunacy going on outside Gold kids is important. Diversification

(27:02):
is key. Birch wants to help you with that text
the word Benson right now to ninety eight, ninety eight,
ninety eight. They're going to get you out of an INFOCD.
Birch Gold is amazing A plus rated by the Better
Business Bureau. They want to give you all the information,
the tools you need to make the decision that's right
for you and your family and what you have. Now,
a lot of people out there are thinking, well, why gold,

(27:23):
Why now? Simple Gold's made a huge move. You see
banks and big time institutional vestors continuing to grab as
much as they possibly can because they understand what may
be coming. Not with just global issues, we're also talking
about the economies, all kinds of things like that. They
play into something that could see a real nasty situation.

(27:44):
And if you're on the right side of it with gold,
you got nothing to worry about. That's why Birch. But
you got to get the information first. Text the word

for Birch Gold One Hit Wonder Wednesday, Straight Ahead Chad

(28:09):
Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (28:20):
If you like talk radio like Chad Benson likes his meals,
you've come to the perfect place for takeout.

Speaker 2 (28:27):
This is one of my favorite things we do every week.
And you know, for all the stuff Israel, Ukraine, the
politics of the world, nature messes you up, gets a
lot of that too. You know the love, but nothing
gets the love like this. This is called One Hit
Wonder Wednesday. Every Wednesday we kind of dive deep into

(28:50):
a song that was a hit for a moment in time.
This band, this singer, this, this whatever it was, it
captured a moment with its infectious beat or its lyrics
and it was awesome. Some of them were massive globally.

(29:12):
Others were just to hit. Here. Some bands, and when
we talk about one Hit Wonder Wednesday, this is a
hit in America. Some bands we play, they have one
song and that's it. Nothing ever again. Artists will have
one song you never hear from again. Others will be
big in another part of the world. But that one
song that they have that's here, well, that's the only

(29:36):
hit they ever have. And that's this band today. Are
you guys ready to have a little fun and head
way back to the year nineteen eighty three?

Speaker 13 (29:49):
Now it's time for another edition of One Hit Wonder Wednesday.
You may not remember the name of the.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
Band, but you definitely know the song. This peruser, This
is one Hit Wonder Wednesday. This may be one of

(30:27):
whenever we throw out Hey Tomorrow's one hit, Wonder Wednesday,
whatever it is we have, Hey Syennis, your suggestions this
may be. I would say it's either one or two
of the most suggestions we get every single week. So
the band itself so malclamation of several different bands kind

(30:48):
of thrown together. They've had several different versions of the
band even to this day. They do led by the
guy named Kevin Rowland, who also co wrote their smash hit,
which debuted in the UK in nineteen eighty two, but
we didn't get it until January of eighty three, and

(31:11):
it is a song that, along with the video, absolutely
dominated everything. In fact, this song knocked out Billy Jean
by Michael Jackson. After Michael Jackson had dominated. Then the
song that beat them out the next week was beat

(31:32):
It from Michael Jackson. But it's a song. The minute
you hear it, the infectiousness of it, you think back
to the video and you think, oh, there they are
in their dungarees. They look all scruffy. You're thinking to yourself,
are these are a bunch of British hillbillies? In some
ways they kind of were, but they dominated the globe

(31:56):
with an infectious hit with a litip of Irish and
a little bit of country. So Dexies, Midnight Runners, come on, I.

Speaker 9 (32:05):
Late Sun Sun Alone, I'm Small.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
The music video was awesome because it was just something
kind of a bunch of guys in Dungarease and Kevin
Roland singing to this beautiful young girl who, by the way,
was played by Maria Fahey, who is the sister of
Chavon for He, who was one of the lead singers

(33:38):
in Banana Rama. The song dominated globally, in fact that
when the brit Award in nineteen eighty three is the
Best Single, it was the number one song of the
year in the UK and people always wonder is there
actually an Eileen? This is Kevin Roland talking about Eileen

(34:00):
or not Eileen. And it's funny the story because you
hear all kinds of stories about it. It's a couple women.

Speaker 14 (34:06):
In fact, there was no real Eileen, but it was
an amalgamation of characters. A girlfriend that had when I
was about sixteen living in London, Yeah, called Jeannett. Well,
how I got to write the lyric was I went
to Sweden and I was being interviewed by a journalist,
a woman, and.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
She was really good looking.

Speaker 14 (34:27):
And while she was interviewing me and asking me about
these kind of highbrow questions, I was just thinking about
I wanted to have sex with her.

Speaker 15 (34:36):
Really.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Wanted to have sex with her. He said he didn't
have sex with her, but he talked about that strict
Catholic upbringing, sex was kind of a taboo thing and
he didn't really know anything about it. But just an
interesting story and an interesting character. Indeed, Dexy's Midnight Runners
still going to this day and still rocking it. Roland

(35:13):
Dexys Midnight Runners to Sure One Hit Wonder on this
Wednesday three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty
three at Chad Benson Show, It's your ex your Instace, YouTube,
Facebook as well. Do you have a chance to make

(35:34):
sure you grab the podcast really helps us out right
here on the Chad Benson Show. Coming up our number
two of the program. A lot of stuff still to
get to, including more on what's going on with Ukraine.
Will they or won't they ever meet is a big
question that people are asking because yesterday Trump came out
and said they're gonna have a meeting, or at least
the White House did and the Kremlin said, niitt. So

(35:56):
we'll talk about that. Immigration, some insane stuff with immigration
we're good to talk about, including the new I guess
it's not a test, but the way you fill out
the application and some of the questionnaires is kind of
bizarre as well. We're gonna talk a little bit about that.
Plus we've got This Day in History a bunch of

(36:17):
other stuff. If you miss any of the show, we say,
shame on you. Our number two of the Chad Benson
Show straight ahead.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
This is the Chad Benson Show, the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
While the rest of the world does world like stuff.
There's a battle in the midterms. I still remind everybody
it's the economy stupid. So you can readdistrict as much
as you want, but if the economy sucks, well, ain't
gonna help you. But they've got the folks back in

(37:13):
Texas just won't let everybody know that one lady has
decided she's not gonna leave because they've got this bizarre
situation where if you are a Democrat, so you don't
leave so they can do the quorum and everything, you
have to sign a note saying that you promised to
come back, and then they have the DPS follow you

(37:36):
to make sure that you don't try to leave the state.

Speaker 16 (37:40):
Yeah, again, we're living in a country of lawlessness. This
is unconstitutional. This is someone who has not been accused
of a crime whatsoever. In fact, just the opposite. I mean,
there are definitely people that needed to be locked up
in the state of Texas, starting with our attorney general,
who had been under federal investigation for a number of years,
who had been under felony indictment for a number of you,

(38:00):
who was impeached by his own party, yet yet he
never saw any lock up come to him.

Speaker 2 (38:06):
And obviously, obviously missus Crockett, No, I'm not a fan
of his packson, but no, not been convicted of any crimes.
So you got to be convicted of the crime. And
again I'm not He's got a lot of stuff around
him that I don't like. I think a lot of

(38:28):
people feel that way. But alas, I don't think you
should be locked up. I also don't think this lady
should have to sign a waiver to go home. So
she's just sleeping there she is, and this of course
is all. Look, they're there for a lot of things,
besides redistricting. The Republicans only care about that because people

(38:50):
in the Hill Country that was a long time ago.
I know, you still have pain and you haven't rebuilt,
and there's all kinds of stuff going on.

Speaker 9 (38:57):
That was a law.

Speaker 2 (38:59):
Enough about ye, let's get back to us. We need
to redistrict because Trump wants us to.

Speaker 7 (39:04):
For some looking at California with the response may also
be the California it is cheating.

Speaker 16 (39:12):
People can say what they want to say, but at
the end of the day, we are fighting for democracy.
This is not something that California want us to do.
As you heard from the state senators in California, this
is something that they feel forced to do, something they
feel obligated to do because in a democracy, you have
to answer for your policies or your lack thereof. That
is what democracy looks like, where the power belongs to
the people. They are trying to take the power away

(39:34):
from the people so that he doesn't have to answer
for his failed policies. If he believes that his big
ugly bill is just that beautiful, then go sell it
and go win.

Speaker 1 (39:43):
The legit way.

Speaker 16 (39:44):
But we know that they cheated to get the majority
this time. If you will recall when we look in
North Carolina, as soon as they ended up with a
Republican majority in that Supreme Court, what did they do.
They decided to take their map from seven to seven,
which is pretty much what the state of North Carolina
it looks like, and instead they added an additional three
seats for the Republicans. So now it's ten four. Well,

(40:06):
when you look at the voting nothing looks like ten
to four. And they only did that once the Republicans
took control. Do you know the difference in the Democrats
and Republicans control in the House it was three seats.
So the Republicans they are cheaters all day, every day,
but we have never tried to match their energy until now.

Speaker 17 (40:24):
And I applaud it.

Speaker 2 (40:25):
Good, She applause it. Look, I'm just gonna throw this
out there. They both do it. It's awful. I continue
to tell you this. This is going to go to
the courts. They will make the final decision on this,
because that's the world we live in. Unfortunately, at the
end of the day, the lawyers, they get paid, and
the courts make the decision, just as our founding fathers
drew it up. But don't tell me, it's ah, they

(40:49):
only do it, that's boloney. We don't have right representation.
Wait of this, there are several states Massachusetts, go and look, California,
you had forty percent of the people voted for Trump.
They're gonna go, we're gonna fix this. They're not even pretending.
They're going, we're jerry mandering in ourselves. It's such hogwash.
I would say something else, but we would get in trouble.

(41:10):
But if I just want to rind everybody, it's not
just about redistricting in Texas. They're also going to talk about,
you know, the flood and what can they do? Oh yeah,
what about that? And of course weed because they don't
like weed and Tayhaus. This is what I've always said
about the conservative states. All right, I'm in a very
conservative state. If you put it to a vote, this

(41:34):
is what the Republicans never ever want to do. If
you put it to a vote, should weed be legal,
it would pass. But they never ever want to do that.

(41:55):
So they're gonna do what's best for you and make
sure that you can't have those gummies that would make
you go crazy and run in front of a train.
Dan Patrick Wa could do three two three, five, three,
twenty four to twenty three at shed BETSI shows your ex,
your Insta and all the other good things cross the
pond in Europe, still trying to figure out what's next

(42:17):
when it comes to Ukraine. I don't know what's next.
At some point in time. I'm assuming there's going to
be more meetings. What that looks like, I couldn't tell you.
I'm assuming it's going to be sooner rather than later.
But the security thing is the big issue.

Speaker 4 (42:35):
The President's telling Fox and Friends the US could help
with air support in the skies, but Europe will bear
the front load of the burdens help defend Ukraine if
Russian made again.

Speaker 2 (42:44):
They're not going to be a part of NATO.

Speaker 18 (42:45):
But we've got the European nations and they'll frontload it.
And they'll have some of them France and Germany, a
couple of them. Uk they want to have, you know,
boots of the ground.

Speaker 4 (42:57):
Russia continuing its attacks on Ukraine after the President's meeting
with Russian President Vladimir Putin ended with no ceasefire or consequences.

Speaker 2 (43:06):
Yeah, that was not gonna happen. Not First of all,
that wasn't gonna happen because it's a first meeting and
you're not giving everything away. Secondly, Putin has no reason
whatsoever whatsoever to back away at this moment in time,
just none. Why why should he? He's got everything going

(43:26):
for him at this moment in time, everything is going
for him. And so you've got all the cards and
you know, I've said this over the last several days,
and the pushback from all our people out there is like,
you don't even know, you know, trimpling twelve D chess
and you know, whatever they come up with. He's like
Neo or Neo from the Matrix, whatever the el's name was.

(43:49):
He could see things you just can't am I okay, okay, whatever,
But it doesn't matter. You could, he can't bluff. He's
already ruled out sanctions and tariffs on on China. They
did the same thing. Well, they put sanctions on or
tariffs on India. And what did India do? Go, We
don't care. I was watching yesterday an interview with Jeffrey Sachs.

(44:12):
He's an American economist and he's done a lot of
stuff abroad when it comes to, you know, helping countries emerge.
So he's one of these guys. It's done a ton.
If you saw him, he probably recognize him. He follow
any kind of things to do with politics. And he
said what Trump did with the fifty percent tariff on

(44:34):
India for buying the cheap oil from Russia pushed many
of the bricks countries back together. And I'm like, yeah,
I guess that's the way it's gonna be. You know,
India's got gobs of people and they need energy. By
the time I finished saying gobs of people, there was
many more people already in India. And because they've got

(44:54):
that many people, they need cheap energy and they've got
it and Russia's delivering it and they didn't care anything
about what we did. And we won't do that to
China because Trump's not gonna risk putting us into a
situation where we can see higher prices, especially with the
election coming up, you know, which is when is there
not an election? But he knows right now the political

(45:17):
side of this of things going sideway. If he doesn't
get Ukraine right and he doesn't get Israel right, but
he gets the economy right, nobody's gonna frat too much
if he gets those two things right and the economy

(45:38):
goes sideways, there's going to be a massive tsunami of
blue next year that will absolutely make the last two
years of his presidency hell. And he recognizes that. Oh
he probably does, I know, right, Speaking of Trump, he's
not happy with the Smithsonian.

Speaker 19 (45:59):
Back in Aren't the President signed an executive order directing
the Smithsonian Institution, which runs more than twenty museums in
Washington and elsewhere, to quote celebrate American exceptionalism and to
remove divisive or partisan narratives. Last month, the Smithsonian removed
references to Trump in an exhibit on presidential impeachments in

(46:19):
the Museum of American History. Mentions of Trump's impeachments were
later restored, although with changes.

Speaker 2 (46:30):
I don't tell he cares so much about stuff like that.
That's the stuff. Those are the There's a lot I
like about, you know, Trump again, as far as the
actions and the things that I know he wants to do,
And there's a lot of stuff. I look at this
and I shake my head, I'm like, what are you doing? Why?
Why do you care? Well? I care they said bad

(46:52):
that it doesn't change what happened. And the minute you leave,
there's going to put something else back up, and why
are you taking time on this? And he wants to
let's American exceptionalism, and we're going to get rid of
the slavery stuff because it makes people uncomfortable, and he
doesn't discount slavery. But it's a sin that we don't

(47:19):
want in front of our face. Is the way he's
taking it. No, I think it's a sin that here's
the issue, and the left and the right. You guys
both screw this up all the time. One of you
want to go I read to get over. It was
a long time ago, no big deal. It was our
sin being. We need to own up to it. And
the left wants to never talk about how far we've
come and the exceptionalism of America because of that one thing.

Speaker 19 (47:43):
It is what it is.

Speaker 2 (47:46):
We need to talk about it. It's part of our history.
Why does it matter now? If you've got and the
beauty of our countries, the free speech is amazing, it's
a great thing about our nation. And both sides want

(48:07):
to cancel certain things they just don't like, and that
is infuriating. Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four

Speaker 13 (49:51):
Let's talk a little immigration, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Immigration, Barbie.

Speaker 7 (49:56):
Now, we got an incredible amount of resources allocated to
us in the big beautiful Bill, and we're so thankful
for that because that's going to allow us to continue construction.

Speaker 2 (50:07):
All right, construction of what the wall? What are you
going to do with the wall? Wait to hear this, right,
It's gonna be pretty sweet. You guys ready for that?
You guys ready? Oh yeah.

Speaker 7 (50:15):
We are also going to be painting it black. That
is specifically at the request of the President, who understands
that in the hot temperatures down here, when something is
painted black, it gets even warmer and it will make
it even harder for people to climb.

Speaker 2 (50:31):
So they're going to paint it black, harder for people
to climb. Can you walk around it. In some areas,
yes you can, but those are not very hospitable, if
that makes sense. It's one of the things when I
was down in the border on Yuma on several occasions.
Last time I went down there was actually with Matt

(50:52):
Gates and Gates Matt Gates, I want to say gets
but it's not. It'smat Gates and Andy Biggs and a
few other people. So we were down there and some
of it the wall was hilarious because I would walk
back and forth because it was literally like four hundred
yards and then no wall. That was it. Like if

(51:14):
you climbed the wall, what were you thinking? Because you
didn't have to. And there's plenty of areas where there
is no wall because nature, as we all know, which
can and at times does mess you up. Well, nature
itself is that wall. But what's going on now is

(51:37):
it's working. And the working part of what's happening with
immigration is simple enforce the law. You get caught, you're
turned around and sent back. Done. It's that simple. You
come across, we catch you, you go back. That's the
end of the day period and if you get caught

(51:59):
again then there's a severe punishment. I think exponentially. It
rises every time you're caught for the opportunity for you
to come here legally.

Speaker 1 (52:09):
I know, right.

Speaker 2 (52:12):
My issue, Like again I've said the wall is fine.
I mean it's not going to stop people three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Show,
is your ex your Insta, YouTube, Facebook and more? Right
here in the Chad Benson Show, people are just they're regrouping,

(52:33):
trying to figure out, Okay, where is the weakness going
to be? Right now, there's not that kind of weakness
because of what took place over the last four years.
People are not up in arms about the stopping of
people coming here. It's what's happening while the people are
here that people are having more of an issue with.
Speaking of immigration, they got a new memo out there
about immigration. When it comes to you applying you coming here,

(52:57):
what's in the memo that may lead you to think
should I put this or should I put that?

Speaker 20 (53:03):
The new memo issued by the Department of Homeland Security
and the Trump administration puts the burden on applicants to
demonstrate positive attributes, and.

Speaker 1 (53:12):
On its face, that's really hard not to support the
question will be.

Speaker 20 (53:16):
Whether or not in application, it is administered in a
fair and non discriminatory manner.

Speaker 2 (53:22):
So when you're putting stuff down, they want to make
sure you're not a threat. I have zero problems with this.
I think most people do right that you're here, not
only you're coming here legally, but you're here and the
reason you're here is because you love America. You're not
here to cause any trouble, et cetera, et cetera. I
don't think that's too much of a thing to ask.

Speaker 20 (53:39):
People disagreeing with the Trump administration or expressing, for example,
pro Palestinian views, are those going to be considered by
the powers that be in the administration as anti American
when in other context they would be referred to as
freedom of thought and freedom of speech.

Speaker 2 (53:57):
There's that a curiosity. If you believe the Palacidies have
a right to exist, how is that anti America? See,
it's subjective. The best thing to do is to get
on there. Trump's the greatest, yay for Israel and just
move on. Three two, three, five, three, twenty four, twenty
three At Chad Benson Shows, You're Acts Your inci Missity
Show ch Chad Benson, child Son Chad.

Speaker 1 (54:20):
Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (54:43):
It is Wednesday, and as we do our one hit
Wonder Wednesday, and don't worry, We've got this day in
history coming up. We also have White Girl Wednesday. This
is when our our girl loves to tell us how
horrible we are, and not just me, everybody. We don't
do the work. You know what I'm talking about. You
needed the work, right, I try to do the work
every day. How can I be less white and less hateful?

(55:05):
I don't think you're very hateful. I'm really not hate.
Like there's emotions like I'd never understood what I'm gonna
I'm gonna hate this group of people. That's a lot
of emotion. I'm gonna love this group of people also
a lot of emotion. I'm gonna pick and choose based
on the characteristic of that person's personality and then we'll
go from there. Otherwise it just seems like a lot.

Speaker 11 (55:28):
I don't know why this is a hot take, But
if you're only a good person because there is an
incentive to be, you're not a good person. The same
is true if you're only a good person because you're
trying to avoid the consequences of people finding out what
you did.

Speaker 15 (55:40):
A lot of people seem to need.

Speaker 11 (55:42):
An incentive to have basic empathy and care for other
human beings, when in reality, you shouldn't need that external incentive.
You shouldn't need people to applaud you for doing the
right thing, for voting the right way, for voting to
preserve basic human rights, or should you do the right
thing simply to avoid the judgment of your if you
were to be selfish. And I think that's the problem

(56:03):
that a lot of people on the right are having.
They need an incentive to vote and be a good person.
Capitalism have has created a society that is so unbelievably
individualistic that it prioritizes success, whatever that means, over empathy
and community. If you're still looking to the external, you're
a bad person. I don't care what your excuse is,

(56:24):
because you can always choose compassion at anything moment.

Speaker 2 (56:28):
So do better, all right? You guys doing better? You
guys feel better? Are you doing the work? I don't
think you're doing the work. You're not taking this seriously.
I need you to take this seriously. You need to
do the work. And by the way, capitalism is amazing
it taking more people out of poverty than anything else. Ever,
Crony capitalism is crap, and unfortunately this is what politics,

(56:55):
modern politics, right left is all about. Crony capitalism. I
said yesterday in my local show, and I get the
usual you libtard or whatever. I just said, Look, if
Hillary would have won, the reason Hillary lost is because
she was the She was so devoid of human emotions
and understanding of human beings, so above everybody else in

(57:20):
her mind that she was just taking her rightful place.
And I said, but if she would have won, nothing
would have changed. We'd have gone on, you know, it
might have been in some more wars. But the reality
is she's a corporatist, like so many of them. Now.
Crony capitalism is crap.

Speaker 21 (57:41):
It is.

Speaker 2 (57:45):
Not capitalism in the free market, because the free market
cost a lot to get into. You gotta kiss a
lot of ass, gotta shake a lot of hands, right,
You gotta do things with people you don't want to do.
It's like I gotta go to dinner these people and
I can't stand these people, but you gotta do it, right.
I gotta go over there and throw a fundraiser for

(58:06):
this and do that that drives me crazy. You have
a product, I may want your product. If that product sucks,
I'm not gonna buy your product. I may tell a
bunch of people I may just go and move on
with it today's world. I've got a product. This product
here is amazing, except it's been regulated at the point
where it is unmakable here in the United States of America.

(58:28):
So now I have to go over go over across
the pond somewhere and have them build a factory, and
then we're gonna market it there. We're gonna have to
bring it back over here. We're gonna have to do
all this kind of stuff that's gonna be regulated in
tax over tax regulated. But that's okay because I went
and I paid somebody to have dinner with fifty other
people where we charge a whole bunch for their plate,

(58:52):
and I handed them their money, told them I'll help
them get reelected. And he cut me a big deal
on all these things and carved out this and got
me that that's just it's just that is crony capitalism,
and that is frustrating. It is and this White House

(59:14):
is like the King of So there's an article out
today about Trump and how to speak Trump. I know
that sounds weird, but it's very interesting on the way
he's you know, what is it the five languages of love?

(59:36):
Trump has something similar when it comes to his language
of love. Oh so to speak fluent Trump, okay, you
have to first put a sock in it. No downside

(59:59):
in trashing t right, put a sock in the mouth
of others. You often pay for the sins of your friends.
So if somebody's saying crap, you make sure that they stop.
Don't overreact. Many made the mistake responding to impulsivity of Trump.
Don't do that or else build two spheres of influence.

(01:00:19):
Think of Trump's two ears. As one person said, one
is full of throwback maga purists, skeptical of anyone not
pure red maggot that with the purity test is there, right,
that's everywhere. And then there are the others, right who

(01:00:41):
more rational, not cultish. There's a few of you out there,
the cultish, just Republicans. And it was the lesser of
two evils. And you look at Bessent and Rubio and
Susie Wilds's chief of staff and think, okay, they're there.
That's good. Number five. Everything is negotiable. Trump lives in
the world of transactions, so he likes big deals, biggest deals.

(01:01:06):
Everything is negotiable. Everything. I love this one. Number six.
Remember it's WWE, a reality TV and that is absolutely
one spot on. Trump thinks about optics differently than everybody else,
especially in business and politics. In his mind, it's all

(01:01:27):
pageantry and posturing, pr baby, pageantry and posturing. Number seven
kiss ass, but in moderation, all right, some people really
go insane. We know who you are, so you've got
to be You've got to kiss ass, but not to

(01:01:50):
the point where he sees it and then it becomes ridiculous.
Got to get face to face. That's the one thing
I've always sid about Trump, like, even when he met
with Putin. Well, first of all, you got to meet
with the guy who's really in control the war if
you want to end the war. But he thinks that
he can if he can get you face to face.
There's deals and stuff to get done. Number nine. Never
assume the deal is fully done. What makes Trump maddening

(01:02:11):
to many is his propensity to change his mind or
his mood, often on a dime. Number ten, Play the
long game. None of these techniques are one off, You're
gonna have to do several of them in several different ways.
And number A leven pony up. Trump is aggressively fundraising

(01:02:33):
for Maga super Pack and other political committees. Dinners cost
up to a million dollars a plate, which I have
talked about how frustrated I am with this kind of crap.
I mean, they're talking about taking a stake and Intel
so we can own the means of production. Wait what, No,

(01:02:53):
the government should own anything. And then they're out there
going well, it's different because it's it's about uh, you know,
it's about national security. You're not doing that with any
of the other companies. Why Intel? So those are your
eleven things if you want to get around Trump and
you want to be in as good grace as you
do those things and UBI three two, three, five, three, eight,

something that was well, not a good look for America,

(01:04:41):
if you know what I mean. We'll talk a little
bit about that. Bunch of other things to get to
as well. If you miss any show, shame on you
make sure grab the podcast. This is the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 15 (01:04:58):
Deep States, No, the Deep Doo Doo.

Speaker 17 (01:05:02):
Yeah, the Chat Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:05:05):
I told you guys last hour that I've got a
nature will mess you up where you will say to yourself,
I kind of wish that guy got eaten this. There's
a video of it. He's an idiot, as most people
are now when we talk about nature messing you up again,
we're talking today about Hurricane Aaron right out there smashing

(01:05:26):
in the stuff. When it comes to you know, the
outer banks in North Carolina, it's gonna be kicking up
a lot of you know, waves and high water marks
and all that kind of stuff. That's nature being natured.
You can't do a lot about that. You know, the
floods in the Hill country, that's nature and it's awful
and it's horrible. We're not talking about that. Most of
the time we talk about nature messing you up, it's

(01:05:47):
people who are idiots doing idiotic thing in nature. And
nature does what messes you up. Case in point, this
guy we're out sharking picking on the beach here and
one of the guys I'm.

Speaker 15 (01:05:58):
Got fitt in the lake.

Speaker 22 (01:06:00):
You're listening to the nine to one one call from
Saturday night. Sean Muse and his friends hooked a six
foot lemon shark. But when he stopped a snap a picture.

Speaker 23 (01:06:10):
We were taking the hook and we just finished taking
the hook out of his mouth. We're gonna go release him,
and the shark just turned and bit me.

Speaker 22 (01:06:17):
The Boca Grand Fire Department responded to the nine one
one call.

Speaker 1 (01:06:21):
Either way, we have a turn to get on his leg.
He's got a cow on it. Try to stop the bleeding.

Speaker 6 (01:06:26):
Fire Chief C. W.

Speaker 22 (01:06:27):
Blosser says Boca Grand isn't just known for their beaches,
but they're sharks too.

Speaker 17 (01:06:33):
There are a lot of sharks out here, especially during
tarp and season.

Speaker 1 (01:06:35):
Never seen anybody you know, specifically fishing for a shark
getting bitten. You gotta be careful when you're playing with
mother nature.

Speaker 2 (01:06:42):
That's right. You gotta be careful, or better yet, don't
play with mother nature. People fish for shark. I've caught
sharks and you release them. You know what I didn't
do try to take a picture with him. That's what
this idiot did. As he brought this lemon shark up there,
and he tried to, you know, take the snout open
up so the teeth come out, and he tried to
and he was gonna let it go in fairness to him,

(01:07:03):
and it swung around and it bit him. Because he's
an idiot. Now he's gonna start talking, and that's when
you're really like, oh, I wish it was a bigger shark,
and I wish he was eating news.

Speaker 22 (01:07:10):
Was airlifted here to Gulf Coast Medical Center in Lee County.
He says he's lucky to still have his leg, but
this bite isn't going to stop him from shark fishing.

Speaker 23 (01:07:19):
I'd go back today if I could leave us was.
You know, it's unfortunate, but it's something that happens when
you you know, it happens sometimes. Luckily, he only took
a little bit of me and not a lot, so
you know, I'm one of the fortunate, fortunate ones. And
you know, I'm a shark bike victim. A lot of
good stories now.

Speaker 22 (01:07:39):
And for the shark that bit him, he has a
message see you next time. Keef Blosser says that if
you're bit by a shark, to get away from the shark,
apply pressure to the wound and call nine one one.

Speaker 6 (01:07:52):
Mews is expected to.

Speaker 22 (01:07:53):
Make a full recovery and says he can't wait for
the next fishing trip, see you next time.

Speaker 2 (01:07:58):
At the beginning of this, you were like, that's mean
to say that you would want that to happen to
a person. Then you hear them and you're like, yeah, okay,
I get what you're going with. If you get bit
by a shark, get away. If you get bit by
a shark on land, you are an idiot because you
weren't even trying to unhook the shark, which, by the way,
cut the line and let him go. The thing the

(01:08:19):
hook will fall out. This was this was nature, right,
but this was nature meeting another part of human nature,
the not so bright part of human nature. I got
bit by a land shark.

Speaker 18 (01:08:33):
Bro.

Speaker 2 (01:08:33):
Now I've got a great thing to talk to the ladies.
I'm one of the lucky ones that survived the battle.
You brought a shark on land and you got bit, You, sir,
are an idiot. Hey, guess what's twentieth of August. And
you know what happens on the twentieth of August. Stuff,
what kind of stuff? Let's find out what's a kind
of time?

Speaker 15 (01:08:52):
A long time ago.

Speaker 2 (01:08:54):
Now it's time for this day in history. We look
back on this set to find out what the famous
things took place, all right to this every single day
little this day in history, we look back to some
of the great things that happened in some of the
not so great things that happened on this day. August twentieth,
sixteen nineteen, the first Africans arrive in Virginia. It was

(01:09:16):
a Dutch ship that brought twenty enslaved Africans to the
British colonies of Jamestown, making it the beginning of slavery
in English North America. Oddly enough, on this day in
eighteen sixty six, some two hundred and forty seven years later,
it was the end of the American Civil War because
it was declared that day. President Andrew Johnson officially declared

(01:09:37):
the Civil War over sixteen months after generally surrendered Appomatics.

Speaker 11 (01:09:43):
On this day.

Speaker 2 (01:09:43):
In eighteen eighty two, another one hit wonder that really
wasn't Tchaikowski was he singing the blues. No, he was
not singing the blues. Instead, he had his eighteen twelve overture,
and you probab thinking, Okay, when you hear it, you go, oh, cartoons, movies,

(01:10:06):
you know what I'm talking about. So this song in

(01:10:30):
many ways, when they do it big, it's not always
it crazy and it's fun to watch. And I remember
seeing it just about every action movie. But they do
it in like a lot of places with actual live
fireworks and cannons. This is the Boston Pops version of it,
with live cannons and fireworks. It is absolutely the coolest

(01:10:53):
that happened on this day in eighteen eighty two. I
thought there's going to be a big well some other
stuff that happened on this day. Nineteen forty Leon Trotsky
was Assassin eighty. Nineteen seventy seven, NASA launched its voyager
to steers spinning around in space. It's actually, I think,

(01:11:18):
if I'm correct, it remains one of the fastest and
farthest traveling human made objects. Nineteen eighty nine, there was
the March of the Baltic Stakes. Around two million people
formed a human chain across Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania demanding
independence from the Soviet Union. Nineteen ninety eight, US strikes
hit Sedan in Afghanistan retaliation for the embassy bombings in

(01:11:41):
Kenya and Tanzania. In twenty twenty one, the airport chaos
was going on in Kabul. Of course we remember that
and eventually what ended up happening, I believe, just a
few days from now twenty six, which is really when
you think about it, the beginning of the end for
Joe Biden and his presidency. Some of the things that

(01:12:06):
happened on this day in history three, two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at chadventson shows,
your extu insta, all of the other things. I love
hearing from all of you right here in the Chad
Bens Show. Coming up our number three of the program.
A lot of stuff to get to. One hit wonder Wednesday.
We got that for you. We got a little watch

(01:12:27):
trending because there's a lot of things trending. Stuff's going
on out there. Talk a little bit about Oklahoma and
they're testing if you want to be a teacher in
their schools. Talk a little bit about that. What's happening
with the Smithsonian and Trump. And you know, as we're
talking about today, this day in history with slavery and
all the stuff happening there, Trump and the administration seem

(01:12:49):
to want to pull some of that stuff down. We'll
discuss that as well, among other things. Reach out to
us across all of our social media. We do love
hearing from each every single one of you. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson
Show is your X and your Insta hoar umber three
The Chad Benson Show, straight ahead.

Speaker 1 (01:13:04):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:13:33):
We do things differently here kids. That's why you guys
love us. I hope you do. And this right here,
you know, for all the stuff we talk about all
day again, we got one hit wonder coming up. Biggest
thing that we do. People love it. I love that
we also talk about stuff that matters on a daily basis.
I always have conversations with people, you know, on my
local show. I just do what I do, you know,

(01:13:59):
but there's more voices around me and this you know,
a lot of a lot of breaks and you know,
commercials and traffic and stuff because local, but the listeners
for years have been conditioned that all it is is politics.
And then I come along. I'm like, it's one Hit
Wonder Wednesday, and we have hot take Tuesday. We do
we all have fun stuff because politics is a part

(01:14:20):
of it, but it's not everything. I can't even do
that in life. It drive me crazy. And that's why
when I come across stuff that I find interesting for everybody.
And I saw this and I've been reading up on
it is a trip. So we hear about sleep apnea.
This was talking about that yesterday with the machine, the

(01:14:41):
best nap I've ever taken in my life, ever in
my life. I was watching my little brother Spencer, and
you guys know, if you've listened to the show for
a while, my little brother is actually my nephew. My
mom's adopted him. They've adopted a lot. I have a
little brother that is thirteen. I know, crazy, But my

(01:15:02):
brother Spency, he is in a wheelchair. She never walks
his life. He never talked his tray at G two.
He's got several palsy, his brain damage just but he
smiles and laughs. This is the sweetest kid in the world.
And I watched him one day. My mom said, hey,
can you can you watch spency? I've got to go
do some stuff. He says, yeah, And I put him
in his bed and I laid there next so and

(01:15:22):
my mom had a one of those machines, right, and
I'm like, oh, I'm just going to try it. I
put it on. It was the best, like thirty minutes
or so, hour two. I mean, I was asleep. I
can't even remember. It's just amazing. Now. I don't think
I could do it every single night, but that's happening.
Then I come to find out there's a thing called

(01:15:43):
sleep inertia.

Speaker 24 (01:15:46):
What something that we've all experienced, some more than others.
But it's that groggy feeling of confusion. Sometimes you feel
like you've woken up on a different planet. Now that's
when you're thinking, you're focused and your energy at the lowest,
and this can affect your memory, your decision making, and
even your pros.

Speaker 9 (01:16:00):
It's the same time.

Speaker 24 (01:16:00):
So as far as why it happens, there's a tremendous
amount of research on this, some studies pointing to parts
of the brain waking up slower than others, others looking
at changes in blood flow or chemical changes. But it
really is contributed or it most likely often happens secondary
to things like sleep loss, the time of day you
wake up, if you wake up early in the morning
or late at night, and if you're woken up out

(01:16:21):
of deep sleep, which is why when you're startled in
the middle of the night it can often be really
scary because that sleep inertia is very active.

Speaker 2 (01:16:28):
Very active sleep in inertia, sleep and inertia. I if
you guys listen to the show, I don't sleep at all.
I never have as a kid. They've done test. They
said there's less than one percent who have the mutation
I guess that I have, which is I just I've

(01:16:48):
never slept. Even when I was a kid, I was
just easier for me to nap. I'd sleep an hour
here and you know, maybe two hours at night when
I did nap. I still only sleep in two hours
at night. Drink caffeine, doesn't matter, don't drink caffeine, you know,
doesn't matter. It's just never mattered. I've never ever slept.

(01:17:08):
And they say there is a gene again, less than
one percent of people have it DCE two and a
d r B one and their mutations that for whatever reason,
the brain cycles through the sleep more efficiently, so in
a few hours they get enough sleep, especially for their

(01:17:29):
brain that somebody would sleep, you know, eight hours or so,
which is That's always been me, and it's always been though.
My mom would always tell me, she goes, I remember
when you were a kid, he us didn't just you
would not sleep for two days. I'm like, I know,
I still do at least once a month. I was
talking to my local producer bell I said, at least

(01:17:49):
once a month, at least once a month, I won't sleep.
Just I'll go from Monday, you know, Sunday night into Monday,
no sleep Tuesday or Monday afternoon. I'm still, you know,
doing my thing. And then I'll go to sleep on
you know, at like ten or eleven. Nothing crazy. I

(01:18:11):
didn't go to sleep at like four, and I'll have
been up since Sunday morning. And that's just always kind
of been a me thing. And then sometimes it'll get
even worse where I will stay awake till Tuesday, which
is nuts or something like that. It's just crazy. So
tell us more about sleep, doc, Well, it's not just
about rest.

Speaker 24 (01:18:31):
When we are sleeping, our body is healing ourselves, brain
is building memories, our brain is clearing toxins. Also, when
you're sleeping, your body's repairing cells and muscles, regulating hormones,
and even strengthening your immune system. And Michael, these these
are the reasons why a lack of sleep are associated
with heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and even dementia.
So as far as how much sleep do we need,

(01:18:52):
the recommendations, as you stated, for adults, seven to nine
hours is typically what you're trying to aim for, and
more importantly for teens and young kids to ten hours
for teenagers and adolescents, and for children even younger up
to twelve hours of sleep.

Speaker 2 (01:19:06):
Jack can do that, my son Jack, Charlie cannot. Charlie
is like me. There will be times when I get up,
you know, because I try to get four hours of sleep.
I figure if I get four him do good. So
sometimes I'll get up in the morning. And then because
we've got I've got my studio which is just a
few doors down from our apartment. And if you guys
don't know, we rented another like studio apartment and we

(01:19:30):
turned it into a podcast. While we're trying to there's
been a lot of delays. So I will go back.
Sometimes I'm like, oh, I forgot some and it'll be
three in the morning and she's in there, just sitting
up and I'm like, she's like me, she is, And
part of that's probably because the ADHD, which is also
an issue.

Speaker 24 (01:19:48):
Yeah, Well, we talk about sleep hygiene all the time,
making sure that you're keeping your phone is far away,
making sure that you're getting that good eight to ten
hours at least aiming for it so that you can
at least land on the seven and nine. But some
tips if you're suffering from sleep inertia recommending recommendations from experts,
avoid hitting the snooze button. I know we all love
that snooze button, but sometimes that can worsen that feeling

(01:20:08):
of confusion. Also, once you wake up, exposing yourself to
bright light and sound. Although the studies are mixed, it
can help if you experience it.

Speaker 2 (01:20:16):
Experiencing it and.

Speaker 24 (01:20:17):
Michael, this sometimes can be thirty minutes for some people,
but up to two hours for other people and those
who live with ADHD, this can be even more significant
and debilitating. So when you're doing that, it's important to
make sure that you're understanding why, getting checked out and
seeing if there are other causes, and then making sure
that your naps are smart, keeping it under thirty minutes,
and if you can. Some study suggests having a cup

(01:20:37):
of coffee before that thirty minute nap can help you
get out of that sleep inertia when you wake up.

Speaker 2 (01:20:42):
Sleep inertia, sleep sleep inertia. Some new kids, We learned
something new today. All right, So maybe not so much
sleep apnea, but you have a tougher time waking up
and your body may be awake, but your brains. That
happened a couple of weeks ago to me because there

(01:21:04):
was something going around, you know, everybody had like a
head cold and stuff like that. And my wife goes, oh,
you should have some of this like night quil. But
I've never I've this kind of never taken before. I
was slow motioned the entire day. Next day. It was
almost like I was in a fa She was too.
It was like, what's going on? So there you go, kids,

(01:21:27):
learn something new right there? All right? Make sure you
get a good night's eight to ten hours? Who does that?
That's crazy? Does anybody anybody listening? You guys do eight
to ten hours? Let me know? Three two, three, five,
three eight twenty four, twenty three at Shedbenton Show. Is
your ex your Insta, YouTube and Facebook? Makes sure you
like and subscribe. We love it when you do that. Please. Meanwhile,

(01:21:52):
do you guys remember that whole Epstein thing? You know
it's not going anyway?

Speaker 18 (01:21:55):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:21:55):
You guys understand that this isn't going anywhere, no matter
how much they wanted it to go somewhere. And they
thought that sending everybody home for the entire month of
August was somehow going to fix it. It isn't.

Speaker 25 (01:22:11):
The committee says that it's investigative purpose is based on
improving how federal law enforcement investigates and prosecutes sexual or
sex trafficking, And obviously, looking at the Epstein case, that
is a good test case because of the myriad failures
and how federal law enforcement investigated and prosecuted him. And
obviously he died by a suicide in twenty nineteen before

(01:22:33):
he was able to stay trial for his crimes.

Speaker 2 (01:22:38):
And that's the whole thing they're saying. Now, well, we're
going to be investigating how they investigated the investigation. There's
nothing to investigate at this point in time. How much
do you honestly believe that there's anything left of this.
And I saw today where Pam Bondi's back in the
good graces, she's awful at her job. I had more

(01:22:58):
hope for her than a lot of the others because
she'd been an ag of a state and said, this
was a giant fact and this isn't going anywhere. This
isn't it is not going anywhere. It is a debacle.
And once they get back, it's going to ratchet it
up again. And don't think for a moment people have said,

(01:23:19):
well it's okay now because run something else. They're not
moving on. They recognize nothing's going on because you guys
have all taken that month long vacation. But once you
get back, because they're hearing it in their town halls.

Speaker 25 (01:23:34):
It's really unclear, for instance, why they didn't subpoena former
FBI director Chris Ray among all the former attorneys general
and former FBI directors that they did subpoena. It's also
unclear why they didn't subpoena former Attorney General Gonzalez, who
was actually the Attorney General at the time that Jeffrey
Epstein inked his so called sweetheart plea deal that allowed

(01:23:55):
him to escape escape federal prosecution back in the two thousands.

Speaker 2 (01:24:02):
There's a lot of what huh? And I still think
Israel has got something to do with it. I don't
care what anybody says just because you ate the Jews,
because you can't have a normal conversation with anybody without
being called anti Semitic. And if you guys want to
know something, you know when you talk about like, well,
how could that be the power they have? If you

(01:24:23):
haven't heard, we're going to talk about it in a
little while. About the guy who got arrested in Las
Vegas in a sting, who was part of the cyber
division underneath that Yahoo in his cabinet getting ready to
meet a fifteen year old. There were several other men arrested.

(01:24:49):
Where's this guy? We're gonna find out. We've got a
little what's trending coming up as well. Borer capital, more
work capital. Let me tell you something about borck uh.
I was telling somebody yesterd so important to get a
second opinion on a lot of things. And it's the
same thing with your investments, rather you four to one

(01:25:10):
K your investments, your retirement whatever it is. So many
people when I talk to Zach he'll tell me, you know.
I'll meet somebody who's got an ice portfolio they think,
you know, and they're in their thirties or forties, and
they tell me what they want to do when they retire.
And I look and I say, well, you're not going
to get there unless you're going to live for another
one hundred years, because you're in a position where you're
you're you're doing nothing virtually your money it is so

(01:25:34):
packed with stuff that's so safe that the growth is

Speaker 1 (01:26:29):
Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (01:26:30):
No, it's time to find out what's trending. What's trending?

Speaker 9 (01:26:34):
Signed James.

Speaker 2 (01:26:43):
Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Serena.

Speaker 9 (01:26:54):
What trophy?

Speaker 2 (01:26:58):
It's fat I's trending on the old enter webs. Shall
we I think we shall Let's start today in the
magical world of Yahoo. Donald Trump trending. He's vowing to
come after sanctuary States. Walmart shrimp rey call. If you
guys have not seen this, it's a shrimp rey call

(01:27:21):
because potentially it's radioactive. Just let you guys know that
there is that possibility. That's why you don't eat Sea
fleas Airic Canada strike resumes flights after their strike. The
last couple of days, Hurricane Aeron Vladimir Putin, Julio Caesar
Chavez Junior, who is the son of the great Julio

(01:27:46):
Caesar chavas the great boxer, and he fought was it
Jake Paul And then three days afterwards he was arrested
and he has now been extradited to Mexico because he
is wanted as my guest, being a part or participating
with the Sineloa cartel, drug trafficking things of that nature.

(01:28:10):
That's not a it's not a good look. I don't
think your next fight is going to be as good
as you think it is. Over to Google Aubrey Plaza,
great actress, talking about her husband who's passed away and
how she's struggling day to day. Wal Mart again with
those radioactives, Shrimp, what are you doing? Lego Batman legacy

(01:28:31):
trending as well? Oh really yeah, m Colestal, floodwatch, Hurricane Aaron,
all things trending. Finally, over to erics Trump he's ordering
a view of what's going on with the Smithsonian and
the slavery focus. What yeah, I know, right, what is

(01:28:54):
he thinking? Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
twenty three act she had Benson Show? Is your ex
your insta? YouTube, Facebook?

Speaker 13 (01:29:02):
And more?

Speaker 2 (01:29:03):
Right here on the Chad Benson Show. It's Birmingham. That's
England residents defy the council flag removal clash. We'll touch
on that in a little bit. It's just an interesting thing.
Mail in ballots, Gavin Newsom, Gaza City, Jade Vance, all

(01:29:23):
things trending in the magical world of x. Right there
the issue with the Smithsonian and the exhibits again, the
picking fights where you don't need to pick fights, doing
things that you don't need to do, and some people,
you know, they get mad. No, Chad, he's absolutely right,

(01:29:45):
He's got every right to do this. We should be celebrating.
We need to talk about it all Slavery was nasty,
it was vile, it was our original sin. And by
the way, we just did this day in history, and
on this day in history, sixteen nineteen ship arrived here
in the Americas and it was carrying twenty enslaved Africans

(01:30:06):
and they were the first to arrive here in Virginia.
So it is part of our history, like it or not.
And the thing is horrible. What happened where we have
come should be celebrated too. The right wants to well,
that wasn't you know, it was a long time ago.
And the left wants to be like, let's just only
focus on this. Here's it is, here's the way it

(01:30:26):
should be. This was awful, this was horrible, this was bad.
We thought of war we got away from this and
look where we've come. That's the way we should be
talking about You have to talk about it all. But
the reality is, in the world we live in as
we know today, people shape history. And it's weird because
people shape history in real time even though we know

(01:30:49):
what the story was and is three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chat Benson
shows your ex missing the show. Make sure you've got
the podcast Chat.

Speaker 1 (01:30:56):
Benson, Jeff Sudden, Chad Benson's Ship, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:31:23):
We'll get to Israel in a second, but first a reminder.
Today is Wednesday. Not only have one hit Wonder Wednesday,
but it is wide Girl Wednesday, our girl Kylie telling
us once again why we need to do more work people.

Speaker 4 (01:31:37):
Hi.

Speaker 11 (01:31:37):
This is just a reminder that why beauty standards train
women and condition them to be housewives. Being stick thin
but also toned is perfect for being a servant. Cleaning
takes energy, so being toned is certainly an advantage because
then you can do the grocery shopping, you can carry
your child around, you can do the vacuum cleaning, the mopping,
the scrubbing. Also, if you're really thin, and you're not
eating a lot. If your husband puts hands on you,
you're not going to be able to fight back. You're

(01:31:58):
one hundred and twenty pounds, and if you gain weight,
you are made to question your worth as a human being.
And what frustrates me is how many women play into this,
and they'll consciously recognize that beauty standards are ridiculous and
that women of all shapes and sizes can be beautiful
and amazing, and yet they continue to starve themselves in
order to attract a husband. At five five, one hundred
and sixty pounds, I constantly get comments from men telling

(01:32:19):
me how fat I am. But guess what I can do.
I can squat two hundred and fifty pounds. I have
a mean ass punch like I could genuinely hold my
own in a fight. And I'm training for a marathon
like I can run ten miles no problem. Someone who
is starving themselves cannot do that. They cannot fight back
against their husband if he decides to start being abusive
to her. So eat the damn food, please?

Speaker 2 (01:32:39):
Wow? So do you want to fight that? Was that
your goal is? So if you're fit and you're thin,
you no We're not talking Karen Carpenter because Karen couldn't
fight back no matter who was woman or man. As
we all know, it was not a successful diet. But

(01:33:00):
I'm just trying to figure this out. So men and
society made you that way. It's tough, right, the nuance
of white woman Wednesday? How mad should we get at
society for making women want to be thin and apparently
not good at fighting, which is a weird relationship to have.

(01:33:22):
Just putting it out there, guys. Israel, speaking of fighting,
they're getting ready to throw down deep into Gaza City.

Speaker 26 (01:33:31):
Israel says taking over Gaza City is the best way
to end the war and to end it quickly, But
the UN Security Council has worn the move could prolong
the conflict. It would only worsen the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Speaker 2 (01:33:43):
You think, and it is a humanitarian crisis. It is
an absolute atrocity. What is going on an atrocity. I've
been saying this for a long time. Look, and you
always have to preface everything, which which stupid, right, but
we have to in today's world. This is not about

(01:34:05):
the Jews, It is not about the people in Israel.
It is about the Party in particular net Yahoo and
Smodrich and all of these guys Cats and Ben Gervin,
who are going to absolutely do whatever they want to do,
and they're going to just destroy and take over. And

(01:34:31):
I know there's a ceasefire agreement that Hamas apparently agreed to.
They're not interested. Israel's not interested. They're not and they've
lost so much more than I think people realize. People

(01:34:51):
are looking at things in a much different way. And
this is not about Hamas. Hamas are you know, we
go to say this is not about Hamas, No, it's not.
It's not about Hamas. And what they did on that day,
they're file, they're disgusting. They murdered innocent people. They used

(01:35:15):
rape as a tool for fear, which is, by the way,
been used in every conflict on the globe. What they did,
there's no excuse for that. That being said, Bibie realizes

(01:35:36):
this is his chance, and they're going to go in
there and they're going to clean it out, and they're
going to occupy and not leave. And they've already taught
I mean, they've already got settlements going up. They this
is something they've wanted for a long time and if
you get into the Greater Israel Project, which, by the way,
go and look at that, it's like, well wait a minute, here,

(01:35:58):
this is even You've moved on from Gaza into the
West Bank, you're into Jordan and Lebanhon and a few
other places. What does that look like? And I was
talking to you know, Paul last night if you need
if you guys should go check it out. He and
I got into it pretty pretty damn good. You know,
as much as we do over the crazy lunacy of

(01:36:23):
what this group is doing to Israel but also turning
the rest of the world off. They want no part
of this. They know they can't control it. It's not
right left, it's old young, it's boomers massive support gen X,

(01:36:47):
not as much millennials, real falloff gen Z boom. And
it doesn't matter if you're a Red or a Blue,
or a publican or a Democrat. Things have changed and
you can't dare say a word or you'll get attacked
for it. So watching Megan Kelly yesterday for a little bit,
she had that Marjorie Taylor green on talking about this,

(01:37:09):
that even to question what you're seeing with your own eyes,
because we are watching something take place in real time
that is ungodly.

Speaker 21 (01:37:24):
I've been very pro Israel, and I've been very defensive
of their right to defend themselves in this nightmare, of course,
and I've been very defensive of American Jews on campuses
who are just being harassments ridiculous, of course. But I
have absolutely no skin whatsoever in defending any lobbyist group,
including APEC.

Speaker 6 (01:37:42):
So I would love to know what they do.

Speaker 21 (01:37:46):
To get the loyalty of politicians, because I will say
I have had multiple, multiple reach outs to me, both
from friends and from connected people on DC, begging me
to go to Israel with them mmm hmm. And I
have said no every time. I usually I'm just too busy.
I have three kids, I have a full time job.
Like sure, I'm not doing it.

Speaker 2 (01:38:09):
Good. I want to go to the Holy Land. I
don't want to go with a bunch of people that
want to give me the you know, the uber cool
tour of how bad Hamas is and how wonderful they
are and all of this stuff clearing a path. No,
I don't want that. It's like when people go to

(01:38:29):
North Korea, they're giving you to the North Korean tour.
You go to North Korea. You got a minder with
you all the time. You're not taking pictures anywhere, not
supposed so you're not doing any of that stuff. They're
gonna make sure everything sounds good so when you go
home and tell me it was wonderful and they threaten.
I mean Thomas Massey, he always talks about how much
money APAX spends against him every single year when he's

(01:38:53):
up for reelection and they lose, and they'll spend half
a million bucks a million bucks and what do they
get for they lose because they don't like him. He
doesn't want any money and he doesn't think they should
be getting a him money and I don't either, not
with our name attached to those bombs. I'm sorry, there's
no chance that should be happening. And the influence they

(01:39:15):
have here is huge, and you're going to be hearing
more about this. A cyber cat, not really a cat,
but a guy that is one of their part of
their big cyber team, was over here at a black
hat convention. He and several other men got popped for
soliciting sex with a minor using the interwebs, and he

(01:39:39):
posted bail, which is normal without seeing a judge. But
then he was allowed to leave and his first What
they're saying is this first thing that he told people
is I need to talk to the embassy and I
also need to make sure that you know I get

(01:39:59):
home Friday. Let him leave isnt rarely. He brought condoms
and cookies or whatever to meet a fifteen year old
and they let him leave. Well, Chad, he doesn't have
to be there for the next arrayment. No he doesn't,
but you should be in the country and I will
guarantee you this will go away. The other seven guys,

(01:40:21):
they're probably screwed. You watched this will disappear. And by
the way, bebing at Yaho said he wasn't arrested. That's
a lie. Believe what you want kids, three two, three, five,

of the band even to this. Day they do led
by the guy Named Kevin, roland who also co wrote
their smash hit which debuted in THE uk in nineteen eighty,
