Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chat Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
The government. I just checked. Hold on looking at the door. Nope,
still says closed, still says it says it's not open.
Oh no, yep, right there, says it's not open. Says
we'll be back after lunch. May be sort of kind
of someday, not quite sure when. Otherwise, sorry for the inconvenience.
(00:34):
Now it's time for ninety seconds of government shutdown talk.
All right, we're gonna give you ninety seconds here of
government shutdown talk. Each side's gonna make their argument of
why they should or shouldn't open up the government and
what the battle is all about. Will start with you,
mister Cruz.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
The Democrats are fighting to provide free taxpayer health care.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
To illegal aliens.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
That is not what the.
Speaker 3 (00:56):
American people want, and yet Democrats have shown their willing
to sh shut down the government to try to get it.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
There you go, right there. That was the one and
only Ted Cruz. Let's go over Malcolm Kenyata Democrat Pennsylvania.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
Do have a president in Republicans in Congress that want
to cut healthcare, allow the subsidies for the Affordable Care Act,
which make health care affordable for people, make it accessible,
and then reach for people. They have to allow those
to expire if they want to pay for Trump's tax
(01:32):
cuts for the wealthiest people.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
There you go. One wants to give healthcare to illegal immigrants.
The other wants to make sure that the ACA, which
was the Affordable Care Act, can become affordable. I thought, well,
it's only affordable if the government pays for it. That's
an interesting thing there, you guys go, that's the battle
(01:55):
that's going on right now. They'll find out some new
tomorrow when it comes to the battle they should be
arguing about. This seems to be the number one thing,
though there's no doubt about that number one thing. Ah.
Interesting the polls. Remember what I continue to say about
the polls. Who's getting the blame. Republicans getting a little
bit more blame, but the Democrats getting blamed. Both sides
(02:17):
are to blame. It's not a one side has all
of the blame. And it isn't going to get to
see any real movement until you get to that point
where that one side gets a massive amount of blame
and then they go, we better do something now. That
could come in the couple days. If you see issues
(02:39):
where things are shut down that are affecting people that
don't work for the government but need certain things like travel,
which is a possibility, and that's kind of you know,
there's a chance we're going to see some of that
stuff coming in in the coming days. So there, you
guys go. Right now, The polls a little bit towards
(03:03):
the Republicans being blamed, according to the CBSU got Pole,
but for the most part, they're you know, it's it's
in the thirty percent across the board. So do with
that as you will. Meanwhile, National Guard, what are we doing?
Speaker 5 (03:20):
President Trump says he's considering using emergency powers to invoke
the Insurrection Act, move that would allow him to go
around the courts and deploy the National Guard to Chicago,
Portland and even Memphis.
Speaker 6 (03:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
No, we're gonna talk to our buddy, Mi celiness, Military
anlysts coming up a little bit. He and I have
chatted about this before. He finds this to be ridiculous,
He said, you know what, they Trump even talked about
the eighty second Airborne to Oregon. Are you insane? That's insane.
This is a pissing contest between blue cities and states
(03:58):
and Trump. You've got to make an argument that oh,
this is lawlessness. Now, I have said, you could make
a much easier argument that look, based on what's happened
with Ice, based on the shootings and the potential. You know,
we saw that obviously in Dallas, but then you know,
(04:18):
people didn't talk about this. There's due to wantered in
to that same facility weeks before said he was going
to blow the place up. So you could make an
argument that they're there to add some protection in a
very tense situation. You could make that argument. But as
far as crime fighting and stuff like, that's ridiculous.
Speaker 7 (04:39):
They're trying to mimic the exact same playbook in Chicago,
but it's not been as successful as what happened in Portland.
In this case, the state of Illinois and the City
of Chicago early on Monday filed the lawsuit asking for
a temporary restraining order to stop Trump from deploying the
National Guard into Chicago. Basically, their argument was that one
President Trump isn't actually justifying why he's taking over the
(05:02):
National Guard, and they're also arguing that sending federal troops
into the city would actually make things much more unsafe.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Is that a possibility, Yeah, you can make that argument.
I guess if you want to look last weekend, if
you know the whole thing with the black you know,
black hawk helicopter, the repelling, there's kids in you know,
zip ties and all this. I don't know what any
of the truth is because too many people are saying
(05:31):
stuff that I'm not sure I believe them one hundred
percent when it comes to kids and zip ties and
they're dragging people out, there's no doubt that the look
isn't good. I think a vast majority of Americans looked
at what happened under Biden and the twelve thirteen to
fourteen million people that came here and said, this is
a bridge too far. We don't want this. We need
(05:51):
to get a lot of these people out of here.
And they may have applied for asylum, but let's be real.
Everybody was told comply for asylum and they're going to
let you into the country. So let's be honest about this.
And Trump came in and says, all right, well I'm
going to do this, and now everybody gets to see
how the sausage is made and they're not happy about it.
But Democrats, I continue to say this over and over again,
(06:13):
this problem is a problem that you created for yourself
by being so wide open at the border. And I'm
not talking about the voters so much. Yeah, you've got
some of them who are like, we should just let
everybody in. I'm talking about the Democrats who pretended that
everything was okay, knowing full well the numbers were ridiculous,
(06:37):
that they were coming through in thousands a day, and
they were spreading out across the country and it was
going to become an issue. And now you're stuck with
somebody who's come in and said, well, I'm going to
fix this thing, and a lot of people are like, yeah,
let's do it. And he's like, I'm going to get
rid of all the bad folks, and they're like, yeah,
let's do it. And then all of a sudden, the
(06:59):
resist movement came, and the resist movement was no, you're
not We're not gonna let you get rid of anybody.
So if you think you're going to come to the
jails where you've got warrants to pick somebody up with
orders to remove somebody who's already been through the system
in many cases and been told they need to go,
(07:21):
we are going to fight you every step of the way.
And we're going to make it our mission to resist
all of this. And now you've got this situation. You've
got this situation where where Brandon Johnson, who is the
mayor of Chicago, who, by the way, is LARPing as
a mayor. He's an activist who's pretending is a mayor.
Speaker 8 (07:42):
The order establishes ice free zones that means that city
property and unwilling private businesses will no longer serve as
staging grounds for these raids.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
He's a clown. What do you think is going to happen.
You think they're gonna listen to here. You think they're
gonna be like, oh, okay, Well, no, they're gonna do
what they do because they're the FEDS, and they're going
to roll in and you're not really gonna have a
say in a lot of the stuff. So there you go.
And you're not serious about it either, because once again
you've made it so you want to be one of
the face of the resistance. You're not interested in fixing
(08:27):
the problem. When you stop and think about it, we've
got state agencies, county agencies, city agencies that all say,
based on where we are and how we vote, we
refuse to cooperate with you, the FEDS, So we're going
(08:51):
to make it virtually impossible for you to do the
things that you say you're going to do, which is
get rid of the bad people, and we're not going
to cooperate. And then you have a situation like this
where you guys have heard me say it. I think
it's an overreach. I'm a constitution guy. I want no
part of military anywhere in our cities. Yes, you can
(09:13):
make an argument the National Guard protecting portions of ICE
isn't the worst thing that being said. No, I feel
like this is an overreach. I do, But I also
feel like the cities and states are being so ridiculous.
And I want to remind everybody. Ice wasn't created by Trump.
(09:35):
Point that out. Everybody thinks that he created it. No,
didn't happen two years in two years in as of
today when we all woke up and saw what was
happening and what happened in Israel, are we getting close
to seeing this thing come to an end?
Speaker 9 (09:56):
President Trump applying real pressure on Primis, to Nets and
Yahoo to agree to this deal. And it really does
feel like a potentially gain changing moment. You've got these
indirect talks now underway in Egypt. Egypt Phase one, the
President hopes could be agreed as early as this week,
would mean a ceasefire, the release of hostages and some
Palestinian prisoners, and the partial withdrawal of Israeli troops. The
(10:19):
key sticking point is going to be Phase two, which
calls for har Mass to disarm and relinquish power.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
Now, I think that they're more apt to give up
power than their weapons at first, not without key guarantees.
And if I'm Israel, I don't trust Hamas, and if
I'm a Mass, I don't really sure I trust Bib
and his people, because Moodrich and a bunch of these
(10:47):
other people have already said there's no chance we are
leaving any part of Gaza City at all. We're staying there.
We're going to occupy. So this is the part I
think will be the sticking part. This is why having
the other Arab nations there saying, look, we're going to
(11:08):
guarantee that we're going to be a peacekeeping force over
here protecting the Palestinians. That may go a long way,
but nobody trusts each other, and Bebe doesn't seem to
be thrilled by this, and I do like the fact
that Trump said, dude, just take the win, which, as
(11:29):
we know, based on some of the issues that he has,
i e. Potential court issues that may be easier said
than done. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four
to twenty three Atchad Benson shows your ex, your insta,

Speaker 1 (13:09):
You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
The Epstein files will they won't they? We will not
know for a bit. I think at some point in
time stuff's gonna get out.
Speaker 10 (13:19):
But when the push for a full release of the
Epstein files is stalled because of the government shut down,
A newly elected Democrat from Arizona Atlita Grihava would be
the final signature needed to force a House floor vote
on the release of the Epstein files, but Republicans have
chosen to keep the House out of session, delaying her
swearing in.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
What I know right, we've been talking about that. I
still think it's going to happen. They're going to try
their damness to make sure that doesn't happen. But I
still think it's going to happen. And speaking of Epstein, gisline.
Her name is Kilaine. I get it. You put an
S in there. I'm going to say it. Yesterday Scotus
spoke and said, Nah, we're not going to overturn your conviction.
Speaker 10 (14:00):
The ruling praised by the family of one of Epstein's
victims who died by suicide, Virginia Gufrey. We are committed
to ensuring that convicted child sex trafficker Maxwell serves out
the entirety of her twenty year sentence in prison where
she belongs. Maxwell's team had argued her conviction should be
overturned because of an agreement Epstein made before his death
(14:20):
with prosecutors not to go after his co conspirators. Maxwell
has long claims she is innocent.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
Yeah, sure she is. Now here's the thing. Will she
get a pardon? That's the big question. That's a gazillion
dollar question. And when it comes to Trump, you don't know.
Yesterday Trump was asked about it point blank, and he said,
you know.
Speaker 11 (14:44):
I haven't heard the name in so long. I can
say this. I'd have to take a look at it.
I would have to take a look.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Did they reject that she wanted? And what happened?
Speaker 11 (14:56):
I say, well, I'll take a look at it and
I'll speak to it. I will speak to the DJ.
I wouldn't consider it or not considered. I don't know
anything about it, so but I'll speak. I will speak
to the DJs.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
I don't know.
Speaker 11 (15:07):
I mean, i'd have to speak to the DJ. I'll
look at it. I'll I have a lot of people
have asked me for pardons. I call him buff Daddy,
his sp for a pardon.
Speaker 12 (15:19):
Jockey.
Speaker 11 (15:20):
Yeah, I mean, I'm going to have to take a
look at it, and I have to ask DJ.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
I didn't know they rejected it.
Speaker 11 (15:25):
I didn't know she was even asking for it.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
Frankly, yes you did, and don't say you didn't, because
if you didn't, my god, what the hell are you doing? President?
Of course you did. You sent your DOJ down there,
the chat with her, then you had her move to
a new place. Don't tell me that. Three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson shows your acts,
your instant, let us know what you guys, think right
here on the Chad Benson Show, we were born at night,
(15:50):
but not last night, sir, No, that's that's the answer
you give Nope, No, no, no, Are you going to
give her a partner a commuter sentence? No? Are you sure?
Speaker 13 (16:04):
No?
Speaker 2 (16:05):
Is the answer she is going to get Let me
know what you think should he will? He? I think
he may. And then you talk about Diddy because he
said it puff Daddy Diddy whatever. That's just as bad
that is, and he is working that harder than anybody else.
And he's also argues that he should be at a
minimum security, which you know, again, do I think he
(16:28):
should be in jail? No? And the reason is you
guys failed to get him on the serious stuff. And
the thing you did convict him of was something that
nobody's been convicted of forever in a day, and who
was convicted was an actual pimp. I don't think he
was a pimp. That being said, if you gave him
a pardon, think about this for a second. Those videos
(16:51):
of him and Cassie that was his girlfriend, of him
beating and kicking and doing all those things will be
all over every single ad in the midterms, Every single
ad this is what this party believes, so no should
(17:12):
be the answer.
Speaker 14 (17:15):
No.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
Three, two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three
at Chad Benson show's Your Acts, your Insta, YouTube and
Facebook coming up my clients military analysts. I'm going to
join the program. We're going to talk about how close
are they when it comes to peace in the Middle East. Also,
what happened last Tuesday in the Big ra RA meeting.
We'll talk about that as well as Russia, Ukraine and
so much more. That's all straight ahead. Chad Benson, Chad Son,
(17:40):
Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
He's the best day of military analyst in the business.
We talk about it every week. Michaelines, retired major in
the Army and Military Analysts, joins the program. All right,
last Tuesday and I saw you on CBS. I think
the lady was trying to get you to say something
horrible about that meeting last week. Uh, Mike, I have
always said this. I get you know, you want to
have inclusion in certain places, and you know the people
(18:26):
tried to do to DEI for years and it became ridiculous.
I get that. There's that I've always said the military
is not the place to do this. It's a place
for smashing and crushing and killing. That's what the military is.
Speaker 15 (18:38):
Chad, That's exactly right. And you know, break things, kill people.
That is the reality of the situation in the military.
Speaker 16 (18:45):
In a combat zone. It's a place.
Speaker 15 (18:47):
You know, I never want your kids to go, my
kids to go again, but it's the harsh reality of
the world we live in and you've got.
Speaker 16 (18:52):
To be prepared to do that.
Speaker 15 (18:54):
What Pete haig Seth wants as the Secretary of War
is to return to this military.
Speaker 16 (18:59):
We had in the nineties.
Speaker 15 (19:00):
He actually wasn't even in it at the time, but
the standard was one standard, one physical standard for men.
It wasn't He's not racist or misogynists. He just wants
one standard that everyone meets in order to have that
to be in that combat zone and in those combat
arms units and the like. So it is a return
to the back to the future for what exactly what
(19:23):
he perceives the militaries want to do, because over the
past twenty years, this last generation, the standards have slipped.
Speaker 16 (19:29):
There's no question about it.
Speaker 15 (19:30):
We've dropped the physical standards to allow women in combat units,
and that's what he's talking about. So I thought that
he did a great job in that if you can't
argue with what he said with this return to standards here,
because anything else is just social re engineering.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
Which is insane because again it's the military smashing and
crushing and killing and protecting, not Hey, let's make sure
we have enough of this, that and the other, which
I find ridiculous. That should never been that way. Let's so,
what was the overall take right like? Because I looked
at I thought it was kind of a raw, raw meeting.
And look, I'm not much of a meeting guy. I've
(20:06):
always thought in ninety nine percent of meetings could be
done by email. What was your sense of Hegseth and
then Trump?
Speaker 15 (20:13):
Well, overall net positive From Hegseth's perspective, I thought it
was good to get everybody in the room. They could
feel the vibe.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
You know.
Speaker 15 (20:20):
There was not a single general officer that got out
of their desk and got on a plane and went
right to that meeting. There was networking, they did a
lot of other things, So I think it was a
net positive from that perspective.
Speaker 16 (20:31):
I thought the message was sound.
Speaker 15 (20:33):
I thought, you know, coming from specifically him, was important.
So from from his side of the coin, I thought,
you know, he did a good job. I was a
little disappointed the president, no question, he starts to ramble on,
made it very political, said things that were likely inappropriate.
That audience was not going to stand up and clap,
that audience was going to show no emotion. That was
(20:53):
a good sign that the general's you know, just kind
of sat there. Also, if you noticed, there was more
NCOs in the room or the Secretary of War's speech
than there were for the president. When the President spoke,
it was all the three stars, four stars, two stars,
one stars. It was literally all the officer corps. But again,
the President I don't think communicated very well. Unfortunately, had
(21:14):
the chance. Was not going to turn that into a
political rally. Those officers, We're going to let that happen.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
Talking to Michael Lioness, military analysts, best damn analysts in
the business, speaking of the president, I think you're the
perfect person talk about it. You've got the National Guard
and then you're hearing stories about we're going to send
the airborne, We're going to do this. Yeah, the reality is,
as we were just talking about, the military is for
is you're a combatant, You're not a suspect. I am
not a big fan. I like the Constitution, Love the Constitution.
(21:40):
Not a big fan of our military, whether it's the
National Guard or any other part of it, on the
streets of our country trying to police in any way,
shape or form.
Speaker 15 (21:49):
Totally agree, Totally agree with that. I think that the
President unfortunately uses words that are not helpful when he
says things like we're going to send the eighty second
to Portland, Oregon. It just is not happening active duty
troops in one level. When he mobilizes the Guard for
right now, he can do it under this guise of
protecting ICE who clearly get over their heads at times
(22:11):
when you look at the videos and see what's going
on and specifically how they're being attacked. But they have
to be, you know, in this reserve mode where they're
not they're not trained in order to be basically policemen
and to and to go after US citizens.
Speaker 16 (22:27):
That's not a good look.
Speaker 15 (22:29):
I think that from a political perspective, that that side
is trying to go the Guard into doing that and
the ICE agents into doing that, it's not a good look.
Speaker 16 (22:38):
I think this is about the election.
Speaker 15 (22:40):
Next year and trying to show that the Trump is
a fascist and trying to create a dictatorship when he's
just trying to look for law in order. I think
most people now are saying, well, then forget it. You
want you want no help, then burn to the ground.
Who cares if Chicago burns to the ground. Who cares
of Portland burns to the ground. It's not worth the
political capital he's going to use in order to try
to fix what's clearly a problem.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
All Right, we moved from there to two years ago.
Today people woken to the to the word that Israel
have been attacked. We are closer than ever before and
getting some sort of deal done with Moss. They're mating
a Egypt and again we don't know what that's actually
going to look like. BB and the Cook Party they
(23:22):
don't seem thrilled by it, and Trump is basically tell them, look, dude,
shut up, stop being so negative. Take the damn win.
I still feel like there's work to do there, because
I think as much as Trump wants it, I think
the world wants it. I'm not sure Bebe and everybody
else over there wants it.
Speaker 16 (23:36):
Now, there is there's work to do and BB in.
Speaker 15 (23:39):
The Israeli people want a complete total victory, and right
now they still they have agreed to give up the hostages,
but they won't give up the ministries, they won't give
up their weapons, and from as real perspective, that's just
not going to work two years in at this point. So,
you know, a twenty point piece process just doesn't seem
(24:00):
to work from the very beginning.
Speaker 16 (24:01):
That's just too many things. We can't make this.
Speaker 15 (24:04):
This is going to sound like a crazy analogy, but
what can't be the Treaty of Versailles. We can't make
it so bad that that it does look like that
the Palestine and people have no chance to recover, or
what's even worse is in twenty years that they fall
into some other area and come back and attack Israel again.
That's what we don't need as well. So but but
(24:25):
the Israelis are not going to tolerate anything less than
one hundred percent of the hostages back, complete disarmament and
giving up any kind of political power within Palestine with
the Palestine people.
Speaker 16 (24:37):
And I just don't see the Hamas doing that.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
I'm not sure Hamas will or won't do. I think
they'll do some of that. How much of that they
won't I think a lot of it has to do
with the fact that is there going to be a
buffer zone is Israel, because that seems to be the
sticking point. Okay, Israel, we'll do all of those things,
did you guys? You guys need to leave and not occupy.
And you and I both talked about this occupation is
the worst part any of this, because every nook and cranny,
(25:03):
every crevice is a place where you could get killed.
Should they agree and pull out and say all right,
lay your weapons down and we're out of here. Is
that something that they should do or should you know,
and go all in with everything or not?
Speaker 15 (25:17):
Well, I guarantee you the general officers are telling bib
nittnya who that they can't do that, because that pause
is this classic negotiation technique that these Middle Eastern countries
use in order to kind of catch their breath, to
rearm and refit. So that's I guarantee the general officer
saying we can't do that. Gaza City is fundamentally flattened,
(25:39):
the tunnel systems are being destroyed. I just don't see
them leaving on any anyway until they get disagreement, so
they're going to use that as leverage at this point
that Israel has all the cards right to use Trump's
from They have all the cards, and Trump just wants
to get to a solution. I hope his transaction based
mentality doesn't force try to force Israel to taking something
(26:01):
that they don't want to take, because it's actually their
security that's more important here Russia.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
Nobody's talking about it. Massive mombings. You know, Israel's kind
of got front and center in our politics as well here.
But that's still going on. And it's weird because Trump
a couple of weeks ago is like, you know what,
if you're not gonna listen, you know, Pooter, then you
know what, We're going to figure out a way to
make sure that they can become offensive. But the offense
(26:25):
I see is still only coming from Russia.
Speaker 15 (26:27):
Sure, and we've not provided Ukraine the kind of things
that we said we were going to Tomahawk missiles and
long range type weapons systems.
Speaker 16 (26:37):
They just they haven't gotten there yet. I know, you know, we.
Speaker 15 (26:40):
Continue to rotate troops into Poland, but we know that
the impact of the war now is starting to more
or less affect the Ukraine markets, their energy markets and
the like, as Russia has this capability to grind down
Ukraine and their country just because of their size, so
(27:00):
Ukraine continues to innovate. I think that that it's still
a stalemate for all practical purposes, and according to some
on the United States side, that means Russia is losing.
But they again, they could still they can still grind
this out for many years if we don't start pouring
weapons into into Ukraine sometime soon.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
Venezuela. I mean, the fact is now we've declared war
on the cartels in particular, they're going after Trende, you know,
Arawa and these other groups throughout Venezuela. There seems to
be a sense, and we've talked about it. Nobody else
seems to be talking about there should be. There's oil.
There's a lot of issues that you know that play
into this. Not the drugs, because the drugs that come
(27:39):
through there are so minimal comparatively to Colombia or Mexico.
What do you see going on? Because I still think
that there is some coming and it's going to be
sooner rather than later. They called off diplomatic outreach yesterday.
I feel like it's starting to heat up.
Speaker 16 (27:55):
Yeah, I think you're right.
Speaker 15 (27:56):
I think as we continue to put outs in certain areas,
logistical assets, I know, we've put some obviously, the naval
assets are sitting there. We've got these maritime air strikes,
you know, going back and forth. I think this administration's
trying to get the government to collapse internally. Now that
usually doesn't always respond that. In fact, sometimes the civilians
(28:18):
can respond in support of them. What happens to the valance,
you know, the Venezuelan military, does it actually fight? Does
it want to get into this fight in the United States.
But all the assets are in place to do air
missions and strikes and all coming from offshore. We don't
have to put anybody, you know, any boots on the ground,
so to speak. But let's hope it's not a little
bit of a wag the dog. Only because again from
(28:40):
the political situation, the Republicans, I think, have got to
try to, you know, make sure that they win this
the midterms next year in order to keep their agenda going,
that they have this momentum now going with all these
different things in the first nine to ten months of
the Trump administration. But again again from a straight military
(29:01):
perspective would be, of course no match. But let's hope
people in the national security are saying, hey, look, let's
kind of just lead this in place right now. Maybe
they'll collapse from within. It's not worth the fight.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
If we were to go after the cartels, You've got Sinelo.
You know, you've got Halisco next generation, You've got the
Gulf Cartels in Mexico, they're the big ones. You've got
a couple big ones in Columbia. The fact is there's
no match for us. That being said, it still could
get rather ugly when you consider the kind of firepower
that some of these people have and the reach with
(29:32):
even inside of our country when it comes to gang members.
Speaker 15 (29:35):
Right, it would be it would bring an asymmetrical war
to the streets of the United States that I just
don't think we would welcome. It would have to put
everybody on high alert, local law enforcement in particular. It
would it would be you know, we'd stir a hornets
nest on some of the lot. Doesn't mean we don't
go after it in some pieces and try to trade
(29:57):
it down, but the level of destruction from a military perspective,
we'd have to do with these locations at these factories
would take it down initially, but like anything else, like
any other terrorist organization, they would they would resurface, So
it would really it's it would be something that we'd
have to really think through and make sure we were
prepared for because it could it could open up Pandora's
(30:18):
box that we never get, you know, the genie back
in the bottle.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
Mike Clions Military Analysts. Always great to talk to you, brother.
We will do it again next week.
Speaker 16 (30:25):
Hey chat, thanks for having me.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Mensa shows your ex your Insta, YouTube, Facebook,
and more. Coming up. Scary Movie Countdown number nineteen. But first,
Prize picks. Prize picks everybody last night, Thank you very much.
Prize picks when I went a chicken dinner. Why is that?
Because when it comes to prize picks, you're picking more,
(30:47):
you're picking less, and it is a perfect opportunity for
you to use that sports knowledge you have to win.
You can win up to two thousand times your money.
You pay anywhere between two and six players. You're picking
more or less based on the projected stats. It's that
simple here's a perfect example this week, Jalen Hurts already
giving you a hottie. Will he have more than a
(31:10):
half a passing touchdown? More or less? Will Saquon have
more than half a rush or passing touchdown? It's that simple.
It's more, it's less. You decide. But here's the great thing.
When you download the app today and use my code, Chad,
You're going to get fifty dollars in lineups after playing
your first five dollars lineup. That's code Chad. You get
(31:30):
fifty dollars in lineups after you play your first five

Speaker 1 (31:47):
Welcome to Chat Cheed.
Speaker 17 (31:49):
No, not the country, the Institution, the Chat Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
All right, we'll continue on our whrror movie countdown today,
Number nind Jean. I'm telling you, guys, this one creepy
as it gets. Are you ready for it?
Speaker 18 (32:09):
The time has come, so prepare yourself for a journey
of fear from the darkest corner of cinema. The most
bone chilling tales ever told.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
It's the countdown.
Speaker 18 (32:22):
You've been waiting for which movie will take the top spot?
Speaker 19 (32:27):
How about a fish tail so big because the jaws
open wide?
Speaker 18 (32:36):
Or the story of a young innocent girl battling evil
with some help.
Speaker 16 (32:44):
Well, then let's introduce ourselves. I'm Damien Karras and.
Speaker 12 (32:47):
I'm that devil.
Speaker 6 (32:48):
Where's Reagan in here with us? You'll have to listen
to find out.
Speaker 12 (32:56):
Are you ready?
Speaker 6 (32:57):
Number nineteen?
Speaker 2 (33:00):
All right, today's movie super Scurry indeed, And here's the thing,
All daytime? What all daytime? The movie that kind of
made Florence Pew a star is called Midsommer. The stars
(33:21):
Florence Pugh, Jack Renner, William Jackson, Harper and Will Poulter.
You guys would recognize these people. You saw them. Florence
Pugh is huge. It is about a festival in Sweden
inspired by Nordic Midsommer rituals, and it is creepy. The
(33:42):
director Ari Astor said, Look, it's a breakup movie disguised
as a horror movie, but it is terrifying. First of all,
it's daylight, which is creepy. Secondly, they're in the middle
of nowhere and they go through these ancient rituals including
an I want to give too much away killing some
people inside of the village and or those people committing
(34:06):
suicide inside of the village, which is.
Speaker 12 (34:10):
Quite frankly creepy.
Speaker 2 (34:32):
Please that part of the movie, they went to a
ritual where people tossed themselves off a cliff in front
of everybody. And these are just, you know, some American
young men and women who had no idea this was happening.
That's when they realized, oh, we're in for something. It
is absolutely frightening. And again shot in the daylight, which
(34:55):
is also something that is creepy and weird because the
sun never sets certain times of the year in places
in the Scandinavian countries. So it is an amazing movie.
The atmosphere, the way it shot is incredible. Florence Pugh
is amazing And if you like stuff that's surprising and
(35:16):
it's psychological and at the same time you're like, ah,
could this happen? There's a possibility. This is the movie
for you. It's called Midsomar. It is number nineteen on
our Scary Movie Countdown three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is
your ex your Insta, YouTube and Facebook. If you have
any suggestions, let us know. We'd love to hear from
you right here on The Chad Benson Show. Coming up,
(35:39):
hour number two of the program, we're going to discuss
more on the that Guard, this National Guard for you
and me, Trump versus the Blue Cities. Also Mark Sanchez
and the weird story of what seems to have taken
place with an attack by the Fox Color analyst on
(35:59):
their NFL coverage and an old guy working on Greece traps.
It's now a felony. We'll discuss that, plus the economy stupid.
Are you in a recession? It depends on what state
you're in. What? Yeah, that's the story right there. It
depends on what state you're in. We'll talk about this
and a whole bunch of other things and that too,
and over there we'll talk a little bit about that.
Hour number two the program Straight Ahead Chat, Benson Chat.
Speaker 1 (36:22):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
Captain slog Star date October seven, twenty twenty five. We
currently find ourselves in a situation on this planet, in
an area where the government seems to be shut down.
That's right, yet people are surviving, they're working. They're not
(37:18):
seeming to notice, as if the government doesn't even exist. Hmm,
I find this strange. No, sir, it's not strange. It's
just our government. They do this all the time. Welcome
to our planet. They don't do a lot, and usually
when they do something, it becomes a giant cluster. Let
(37:39):
me break it down for you. We're doing this right now.
It's a little thing we call ninety seconds. Now, it's
time for ninety seconds of government shutdown talk. Ninety seconds
of government shut down talk. Are you ready? The little
mash up here of whose fault it is? Because that's
really what it's all about.
Speaker 4 (37:55):
Trump's big awful bill was ultimately a betrayal of the
American people, and the trade off was crystal clear from
the beginning. They were going to make health care out
of reach for millions of Americans to fill the pockets
of already wealthy Americans.
Speaker 3 (38:11):
This will end when the Democrats decide they put on
a temper tantrum long enough and they're willing to turn
the lights back on.
Speaker 20 (38:18):
This is a crisis that requires urgent action now, and Leider,
Schumer and myself have repeatedly made clear to the White
House and to Republicans here on Capitol Hill that we're
ready to sit down to work things out.
Speaker 11 (38:36):
Up till now, there hasn't been a great deal of pain.
There could be a great deal of pain, but up
till now there hasn't been. I will say this, just
hang in there, because I think a lot of good
things are.
Speaker 21 (38:45):
Going to happen.
Speaker 2 (38:46):
There you go ninety seconds of whatever it is. What
have I told you, guys? When one side truly sees
that they are going to be the ones that pay
the price for it, potentially they'll come back to the
table fast. Until then, business as usual. Now. I'm not
(39:08):
saying stuff isn't going to happen and people aren't feeling things,
because they absolutely are feeling some things, or at least
starting to. Up until now, nobody's really paid that much attention.
It sucks that the military isn't getting their money. We've
talked about that. But now we're going to start to
see and feel some things like travel.
Speaker 22 (39:29):
Just a week into the government shutdown, air traffic controllers
across the country are beginning to call out in greater numbers.
In California, Burbank Airport forced to close its air traffic
tower with zero controllers on staff. Controllers at another facility
forced to take over, delaying flights by more than two
and a half hours all night.
Speaker 2 (39:49):
That is not good. And I want people to understand.
This is the first time I think people have said, oh,
because none of you have texted me and said I'm upset. No,
because some of you thought, well, they get it done.
And let me just say two, this isn't even like
the thing on the radar in DC normally. And I've
(40:12):
talked to some of my friends who are reporters out there.
That's all they care about. You know, during the last one,
this is it. Every question was about a shut down,
every question. It's just not affected the people that way.
Now travel will be a serious issue, there's no doubt.
But this is kind of the first time where people
have gone is maybe feeling something here.
Speaker 22 (40:33):
Secretary of Transportation warning of nationwide.
Speaker 2 (40:36):
Issue, ibsenteaism as a concern. Again. We've had a few
airports and we're tracking it. We don't have one one
facility that has had long term issues with a sick leave,
but that is concerning to me, of course should be.
So this is the first real thing where people outside
of government will feel it, and then of course who
(40:58):
gets the blame, because that's really all that matters. Is
it your fault, Because if it's your fault and we're
just gonna let it go, if it's our fault, then
we need to have a conversation. And as of now,
most polls really don't have a clear winner. I mean,
thirty two percent say it's both, thirty percent say it's Democrats,
(41:23):
thirty eight percent say it's Republicans. That's not really you
are absolutely the one. And until you get to that
fifty one percent where they're like, oh, then that's when
the move will come. And it ain't happening right now,
and people are focusing on other things like the National
Guard troops in the streets.
Speaker 13 (41:44):
President Trump threatening to use the Insurrection Act, which allows
the president to send the military into states to quell
public unrest or support law enforcement. Generally, the use of
federal troops on US soil is prohibited, but the president
can invoke the two hundred and eighteen year old long
It requested my governors or if he determines that there
is an insurrection. It has not been invoked since the
(42:05):
Only Riots in nineteen ninety two, when It was requested
by the governor.
Speaker 2 (42:10):
Of which I worked in, and it was weird. I
will tell you guys this right now. It was weird
seeing military on the streets of my hometown and not
driving through because they were going from Long Beach to
Seal Beach. No, no, no, seeing them on the actual
(42:34):
streets patrolling. That was odd. But that was something that
the governor requested because it had gotten out of hand.
So you've got Portland, you've got Illinois and Pritzker. I
saw Pritzker. What did he tell Abbott? He can go
(42:57):
to Hell fight? Hilarious because Trump the way that he's
worked around this, or like, you can't use the Oregon
National Guard. He's like, fine, I'll use California's National Guard.
And then he said you can't use Illinois Nasteralguard. Its okay.
Texas said it's okay if we use theirs. That's how
he's getting around this. And you've got judges that are like, well,
(43:18):
maybe maybe.
Speaker 13 (43:20):
Not a separate federal judge, this time appointed by President
Trump himself, blocking the troops deployment, saying the President's assessment
of Portland is quote simply untethered to the facts. President
Trump has claimed Portland is burning now. He's focusing on
a group of protesters that have camped outside an ICE facility,
painting a picture of insurrectionist wreaking havoc on the city.
(43:43):
But Portan officials insist the reality is much different. The
police chief Bob Day telling our Trevorault the protests are
confined to just the sliver of the city.
Speaker 2 (43:52):
Do I think that it warrants that, as I have
said and I will continue to say, if it's for
fighting crime, no it doesn't, and that's an overreach and
it's ridiculous if it is to protect ICE. And we
talked to Mike Lions last hour, our military analysts, We're
going to replace some of that a little bit later.
(44:15):
But he agrees with me. The thought of putting the
eighty second airborne, which was something that Trump floated, is ridiculous.
The thought of fighting crime with the National Guard military
is ridiculous. To protect Ice, you can make an argument,
especially based on some of the stuff that has happened
(44:37):
in the last several weeks.
Speaker 13 (44:39):
The Illinois Governor JB. Pritzker fights President Trump's deployment in court,
calling it an unconstitutional invasion of Illinois.
Speaker 23 (44:46):
Donald Trump is using our service members as political props
and as pawns in his illegal effort to militarize our
nation's cities.
Speaker 13 (44:57):
Federal judge appointed by President Joe Biden temp rarely signing
with the administration, declining to block the National Guard's deployments
Illinois for now.
Speaker 2 (45:06):
So we'll see what this looks like in the coming
you know, hours and days, because is Trump going to
actually use the Insurrection Act, which is an absolute overreach.
There's no doubt these places Portland's. Portland's a hot mess
because Portland continues to vote for people who decide that
(45:29):
living on the streets is a lifestyle choice, that petty
theft and most theft is just part of doing business
in Portland. As a homeowner or as a law abiding citizen,
you just have to deal with it. That is a
Portland issue. As far as ice goes. You can make
an argument, but to what extent because it's not on fire. Well,
(45:52):
it's not like it was in the Summer of Love.
That was a whole different world in Chicago. Look, it's
the other day was ugly. There's no doubt it was
very ugly what took place the other day, and then
the misinformation came out like all these kids were, you know,
(46:12):
hog tied. It was like they weren't hog tied. But
that's the way like some people made it out to
be and other people are like, no, they were all
just you know, they were given bunnies and donuts and
told to come down peacefully. Also not the way, you know,
the right and the left are going to paint two
different stories. We got an issue, and a lot of
this issue comes from it. It's a pissing contest between
(46:35):
blue states and blue cities versus the administration and immigration.
And you've got failure to work with and comply with
warrants for removal of as Trump would say, bat ombres.
Because these plays want to be the resistors. We are
(46:57):
going to resist at all costs, which is ridiculous. So
what ends up happening? Trump then says, fine, we'll go
get you know, go get whoever you can get, and
then they go in and then we have the issue
that we have. I'm not thrilled by it, but that
goes back to the Elasta administration when you allowed everybody
in the world to come here, and so now we've
(47:18):
got this situation, and this situation is now become ridiculously political,
and it is going to continue to be at times
overly hyperbolic and political when it shouldn't be.
Speaker 21 (47:35):
Bad.
Speaker 2 (47:35):
Ombres should go. The FED should have the opportunity and
the cooperation with the locals that say, hey, look, we
got a guy in custody. He's here for this, but
you guys have a warrant for him that says he
has an order to be removed. We're going to pass
him off to you. There you go. It doesn't mean
you're like, take the little lady down the street that
sells enchiladas and Tomlly's for Christmas. No, but you know what,
(47:59):
when you don't cooperate, they go elsewhere, and what do
they find the little lady down the street that sells
the enchiladas and the Tamali's for Christmas, which are delicious?

Speaker 2 (49:51):
Man the Mark Sanchez thing. That's the uh ex football
player and commentator for Fox Sports Arts. This thing is
getting weirder and weirder by the day. So he beats
up a dude, but he was stabbed, he was in
critical condition. He gets arrested, people are like, what the
(50:13):
hell happened? Next thing you find out, eh, maybe he
was the dude who started the whole thing.
Speaker 24 (50:17):
Shortly after twelve thirty am Saturday night, police say the
thirty eight year old Sanchez approached Perry Toll, a sixty
nine year old delivery truck driver, in the middle of
his shift about where the victim parked. Toll, who says
Sanchez smelled of alcohol, alleges Sanchez shoved him and prevented
him from calling for help, Toll telling police he feared
he was in physical danger. Pepper sprang Sanchez in the face,
(50:39):
according to police, When the former quarterback advanced again, Toll thought,
this guy is trying to kill me and stabbed Sanchez
multiple times.
Speaker 2 (50:47):
Now, Sanchez thirty eight years old, still in really good shape,
drunk six' to, two about two fifty. Ish this guy's
like five eight nine seven years, old wearing here and,
aids not quite understanding what's going. On and he, said,
look he was kind of a bit of a. Wackado he,
(51:12):
said he. GOES i observed him acting erradically doing windsprints
in the alley behind the Pub Long Miller's. Downtown, okay
so then it just again went sideways from. There but don't.
Worry this guy's already. Suing he's Suing, fox saying you
guys should have known who was unfit and. Unstable the

third round. Pick, no that's not. It his face, though
if you've not seen the, GUY i, mean while he Stabbed,
Sanchez sanchez apparently took his knife away and just tore
his face. Apart so he's in some serious. TROUBLE i,
(51:57):
mean he's in some, serious serious. Trouble we're talking about felonies,
here and, yes alcohol played a, huge huge. Part he's
facing felony charge on top of earlier misdemeanor. Charges the
level five felony carries some maximum sense of six years
in prison three, two, three, five three, eight twenty, four

Hammered he said he had no idea what, happened no

the fight of this. GUY i think alcohol was. Involved
let me know what you. Think interesting last hour we
were talking About, Gisline maxwell and Puff, daddy and several

THAT i, said you can't pardon either of, them and you, Said,

it matter If trump pardons? Them because one is a
personal thought that has nothing to do with. Politics the
(53:26):
other is. Politics So i'm not trying to get elected for.
SOMETHING i think what they ended up getting him charged
with and ultimately convicted with was quite an overreach when
all was said and. Done and the second thing is
in the, court they showed the video of him beating that,
(53:48):
girl even though it had nothing to do with that case,
specifically they allowed. That what do you think is going
to happen when you're running in the, midterms even though
you're not on the ballot And trump pardons, You you're
going to be the soft on. Crime you can buy

Show it's the, economy always the. Economy depending on what
state you're, in the economy may be, good maybe maybe.
Oh according to our friends over At Market, Watcher Buddy
moody's Economists Mark, zandy he, says these Here United states
(55:01):
Of america are close to damaging economic, contraction meaning we're
close to getting ourselves in a position where it's not
twenty two. States it's pretty much everybody that is feeling
it now twenty two, states according to this new study
(55:25):
says some of them are already in. Recession last, week
we talked To Zach, abraham or expert when it comes
to the, economy and he, SAID i feel like there
are certain parts of the economy that are currently sitting
in recessionary. Areas AND i think that's probably. True it's not,
(55:47):
everywhere BUT i want to break this down for you
when it comes to the states that are in some serious.
Trouble in other, states they're treading. Water it's the way
they break it. Down so what you have are recession treading,
Water california treading, Water texas, Expansion tennessee treading, Water florida.
(56:10):
Expansion then you get to some other places where you're
starting to look and, Gooo district Of columbia experience issues economic,
weakness that's not. Good some of, that, though has to
do with obviously what's going on with the. Government, California
New york treading. Water if either of those were to,
(56:30):
go that becomes an issue where we're headed towards a.
Recession some states are feeling it in a major way.
Comparatively so you've Got oregon And. Washington according to, this
they're already in a. Recession so it is the, economy.
(56:55):
Stupid AND i think we need to understand that we
can sit here and we could talk about the chaos
of what's going on with whatever cultural battle that's, happening
the chaos of whatever is going on Between trump and
whatever state he's fighting, with it's still about the, economy.
Stupid and when you have twenty two states that are
(57:17):
in positions that are already signaling, recession that's not. Good
that's getting a little scurry twenty three if you count
the district Of, columbia not a. State but you get
Where i'm going with. This so it's not just by the,
way it's not Just, moody's it's not Just. MarketWatch Ucla
(57:41):
Anderson school Of management also had a forecast that came
out and said the exact same, thing in particular that
a recession In california is now more than just a.
Possibility so these are the things everybody needs to pay
attention to because it's always about the. Economy, so whether
do you fix what's going on With israel And, hamas
(58:02):
whether you get the likes Of russia And ukraine to
come to the, table whether you figure out how to
come to some sort of agreement Where ice and the
local authority can work together and we can get the
bad ombres out of. Here all of those, things while
important to the Everyday, american you AND i and everybody,
(58:24):
else it's still about the, economy. Stupid it is one
of the things they talk. About is any region that
is reliant on goods producing, sectors that's, agriculture, mining light.
Manufacturing it's a struggle right. Now Georgia zandi, said is
(58:44):
actually a surprise that they're in a. Recession and part
of that, is they, say is declined in domestic immigration
and high home, prices which is another. Thing, pennsylvania on
the other, hand unexpectedly said performing well healthcare and. Education
so these are and this is WHY i, say when
(59:06):
it comes to the, economy it's personal because your neighbor
may be going through, stuff but you're in an industry
that you're not feeling. It your family member may be doing,
great but you're in a state right now that's. Struggling
(59:29):
so the, economy, stupid is. Personal but when enough personal comes,
together it becomes. Mass and when enough mass comes, together
it becomes a voting block and we know which way
it votes whoever they think is going to deliver on
the economy the best three, two, three, five, three, eight twenty,
four twenty three At Ched benson shows your, acts your instant,
(59:52):
YouTube facebook and. More, meanwhile we're just talking about The
Middle east and how close are. They that's a tough,
thing you. Know we've talked about this over and over,
again the amount of. People so today being the seventh
Of october two years ago today it. Happened the horrors
(01:00:15):
that we eventually got to witness a lot of that
stuff because of the videos and. WHATNOT i, mean it was.
Horrific What hamas did was. Awful and then subsequently From
october ehon it has been kind of a pounding across the.
Board and as they're trying to get a deal, done
(01:00:37):
more and more information is coming out about the loss
of life In gaza And.
Speaker 21 (01:00:42):
Palestine more than sixty seven Thousand palestinians killed in this,
war according to The hamas Run health, ministry human rights
groups saying many are now suffering from, famine Something israel.
Denies our team witnessing the suffering up close to year
Old Farasea cabat dying of Starvation, monday according to local.
Speaker 2 (01:01:06):
Doctors, well that's not. Real that's a. Lie it's all.
Fake now it's. REAL i think the numbers much. Higher,
ACTUALLY i think the number is gonna end up be much.
HIGHER i think it's gonna close to eighty to one
hundred thousand. People and while this is you, know let
me tell you why this is. Important when everybody, said
well what about, dressed and because that's the argument that everybody,
uses well what about, dress and what about? This their
(01:01:28):
internal numbers put it way higher than dressed in way
higher than any other conflict when it comes to civilians
versus combatants, skilled way. Higher can they get the ball
over the line when it comes to, THIS i think
it's getting. CLOSE i think there's going to be some. Issues,
obviously it's never as smooth as you want it to.
(01:01:50):
Be and that, includes by the, way even If hamas
agrees to a lot of, stuff it doesn't guarantee that
liqud party in particular Ben vie And smodrich and you,
know The finance minister and. Everything and as we've talked,
about several people have said it That bibi is the
most liberal in his. Party so think about that for a.
(01:02:13):
Second several of them want no part Of trump's twenty point.
Speaker 9 (01:02:18):
Plan President trump applying real pressure On Prime Minister nets
And yahoo to agree to this, deal and it really
does feel like a potentially game changing. Moment you've got
these indirect talks now underway In. Egypt Egypt phase, one
The president hopes could be agreed as early as this,
week would mean a, ceasefire the release of hostages and
Some palestinian, prisoners and a partial withdrawal Of israeli. Troops
(01:02:40):
the key sticking point is going to Be phase, two
which calls For hamass to disarm and relinquish.
Speaker 2 (01:02:45):
Power and that's going to be the tough, part right.
There will they won't? They some of that's gonna be
on the guarantees Of. Israel If israel And trump Is
let's be, honest He's obama didn't do, it And biden's
certain how did do. IT i get a feeling That
trump is doing everything he can to support bb and
(01:03:06):
at the same, time, say, dude you, know as we
talked about, yesterday he told him over the, weekend you're
always so effing unhappy take the. Win will he or won't.
He the fact that he's even standing up like that towards.
HIM a lot of people are surprised because of how
supportive he's, Been so this is going to be. Interesting
(01:03:27):
this is still all that being, said what we talked about,
first it's the, economy, Stupid it's the economy for you
AND i and everybody. Else it's the economy three, two, three,

Irreverence, like, yeah so what it's the. Chat that's a.
Speaker 2 (01:05:00):
Show scotus in. Accession a lot of stuff we've talked
about yesterday what they're going to be looking. At and
obviously they ruled On Gisleen maxwell and, said, yeah you
don't deserve, anything get out of. Here that being, said
there are some interesting. Things one of and arguably the,
biggest is this is A trump. Court this is Also trump. Hearings,
(01:05:24):
normally one maybe two things that hit their dock as
that they decide to take up will be president. Related
they're looking about six on this, one which is. Crazy,
obviously his, powers executive, orders things of that. Nature those
are going to be. Big but you've got a bunch
of other stuff that is culture war.
Speaker 25 (01:05:45):
Related with the nation sharply, divided The justices will again
wait into the culture, wars deciding this term whether states
can ban transgender athletes from school sports and whether state
bans on so called conversion therapy for LGBT q teens
violates a counselor's free.
Speaker 2 (01:06:02):
Speech that's going to be an interesting thing to see
how they and Again colorado playing into. That and the,
look here's where The republicans win in the culture. Wars
they're not? Insane do they push it too far at?
Times as far as making everything about the culture? War
you could argue that to a certain. Extent but when
(01:06:22):
it comes to, sports which by the, way it's not
like there's a gazillion athletes that are trans in girls' sports.
Now that may change in the, future you may get
a little bit more because apparently everybody's. Trans but the
reality is it's not a huge. Number in, Fact i'm
gonna give you the breakdown on the number five hundred
(01:06:46):
thousand student athletes across its member. Schools that of course
according to twenty twenty four, numbers so five hundred thousand,
athletes but seems like a lot of athletes just in.
GENERAL i know there was five hundred thousand, athletes fewer
than ten transgender college student athletes among that. Population, this,
(01:07:08):
though is a perfect example of the Culture war and
how The republicans were able to, go, hey this isn't right.
Now high school is a little bit. Different you're seeing
more and more of that because you're getting a lot
of people that are trans. Now but it's not like
it's every. Place but you understand that you can empathize and, say,
(01:07:35):
YEAH i don't WANT i don't want these kids to
not have, opportunities BUT i also don't want them to
crush my. Daughter so you, know nobody wanted my plan
WHEN i threw it out, there which, was, hey they've
got a you, know a girl that used to be
a guy and identifies now as a, Girl so you
(01:07:55):
guys are allowed to pick one of the dudes from
from one of the sports to come over and. Play
nobody wanted that. Plan all kidding, aside, though gon to
point this. Out is there an inherent advantage, Physically, Absolutely
you'd be foolish not to think. So, secondly is it
as big as the right makes it out to. Be,
(01:08:17):
No and this is most, important though common sense won
the day The republicans found the common, sense ran with
it and won that simple it's a simple plan that
they put. Together it. Is, now WOULD i want my
(01:08:40):
daughters competing against boys up until like they're ten or
eleven or. Twelve it's not a big. DEAL i MEAN
i see. It you, know my son up until two years,
ago three years, ago it was he had girls on
his hockey. Team, now both of those girls that were
there were amazing and they they are now, playing you,
(01:09:03):
know on the girls. Teams because once you got to
the point where you could, hit everything, changed and it
changed in a major. Way so we have to be you,
know two of The so we had two girls on his,
team both of them awesome, skaters great with, it you know,
puck you, know with their, pucks and they could go
(01:09:24):
fast and they could stick. Handle it was. Amazing then
the hitting came and all of a, sudden my son
on skates at thirteen is six foot three and one
hundred and ninety pounds and they're five foot. Nothing so
the game. Changed and you see it even amongst the
boys that are. Small once the hitting shows, up a
(01:09:47):
lot of them just, go, Well i'm gonna go play roller,
hockey so there's an, advantage and they've learned to take
this in the culture wars and run with. It Even
New york just ruled on a case when it came
to roller, derby, which by the, way is another one
of those things where you can say that you identify
(01:10:07):
as a. Woman the reality is you're playing roller, derby your,
bones muscle, mass all of that is bigger and, stronger
and that was.
Speaker 26 (01:10:18):
Evident the roller Derby, league The Long Island Roller, rebels had,
sued saying the ban violated state anti discrimination. Laws The
New York Civil Liberties, union which filed the lawsuit on
the league's behalf and a, statement says it would Challenge monday's.
Decision New York JUDGE. R Bruce cousins writes That Nassau
county's band is designed to protect women and, girls and
that transgender athletes can still play in co ed sports
(01:10:40):
leagues at the county's. Facilities the judge says the ban
is narrowly, tailored.
Speaker 2 (01:10:45):
Which is they can play in other sports where the
physicality isn't. Such it's just common, sense and that's what
The republicans have. Done they've won the battle of common.
Sense in the culture. Wars they've gone and they won
the battle because they weren't ridiculous in the way that
they approach things in the culture. Wars that has been
(01:11:09):
the problem with The democrats and the fact that they've
allowed the activist class to dominate the conversation to the
point where this is why they're not moving forward with
men in, particular young men in, particular and even centrist
(01:11:30):
to the, left women and parents in the what you
would think would be a bluer suburban area because they
just have no common sense when it comes to culture.
Wars they feel like that the culture war that matters
only happens on the coast amongst the, elites and everybody
else who would be A democrat doesn't recognize that being
(01:11:52):
A democrat In, berkeley or la Or seattle is not
the same as being A democrat In Des. Moines the
coast dominates the progressive ideas and thinks that everybody should
deal with, them and that's why they're losing both men
and women when it comes to the common sense world
of these culture wars, three, two, three, five, three, eight
twenty four to twenty three At Chad benson shows your

and we also have number Nineteen scariest movies of all.
Time this one's a good. One it's a creepy AND
i didn't want to watch it, originally and it's going
to be, boring and it was amazing and. Terrifying reach
out to us across all of our social. Media if
you miss any of the, show shame the, podcast our
(01:12:57):
number three and The Chad Benson show straight.
Speaker 1 (01:12:59):
Ahead this is The Chad Benson, Show The Chad Benson.
Speaker 2 (01:13:30):
Show, Democrats i'm gonna tell this to you as nicely as,
possible though it's gonna sound Like i'm being a deck
but here we. Go don't let whack adoodles be the
face of your movement in any, way shape or. Form
it's the same THING i Told, republicans in particular The
trump administration when it was stolen from us in twenty,
(01:13:52):
twenty yet you Allowed wacky to lead the. Charge don't
let that. Happen AND i say the same thing when
it comes to. Immigration you want to fix, immigration let
me tell you how you do. It you get, together
have a, plan, say, look we're not always going to
get everything we, want but we can come to some
(01:14:14):
sort of agreement in trying to fix. This, now for, many,
many many, moons it was never about the, fix and
at times it still doesn't feel that. Way but WHAT
i will tell you is when you allow people to
be the face of your, movement to stand up and
hold press conferences like This ice anti ice protester is, doing.
Speaker 14 (01:14:41):
We all have a role to play in protecting our.
Communities our neighbors are resisting these attacks every single. Day
Rapid Response team members are canvassing schools and, homes informing
neighbors of their constitutional rights and connecting them to legal
and mutual, resources mutual aid resources when their families have been.
(01:15:05):
Impacted we regularly ask local and state elected officials to
take proactive, action like the executive order that was signed
By Mayor johnson, yesterday.
Speaker 2 (01:15:18):
Which we'll talk about in a. Minute, Now so far
are you? Like? Okay? Right so what are you talking about?
You she doesn't seem to be too.
Speaker 14 (01:15:27):
Extreme school staff are organizing sanctuary teams to provide our
students with.
Speaker 2 (01:15:33):
The safe haven and safe.
Speaker 14 (01:15:35):
Passage, today we ask local businesses if they choose to
support their, people their community, base or side with the
racist and fascist. Aggressors we demand that businesses like The
Yards plaza owned By Freeman, properties stop giving immigration authorities
(01:15:57):
access to their parking, lots stop enabling them to carry
out even more terror in our.
Speaker 2 (01:16:05):
Neighborhoods stop with. That that's what you don't. Want that's the.
Extremes this is happening because the last, guy old, sheriff
said nothing about. Immigration, instead he left it to a
czar who did. Nothing as we, know it got so
(01:16:29):
out of hand That Governor abbott, said you know, What
i'm gonna start busting them to sanctuary cities. States you
guys want them so, much here you. Go they were
fine at, first and of course they're, like oh my,
god we can't afford this. Anymore then it became a
national issue and everybody in the nation, went, wow did
you know this was? Happening, No because unless you were
(01:16:50):
in a state that actually was dealing with. It you
didn't really feel it. Happening so here we. Are trump
comes in and a big reason he won was because of,
this a big reason he won the economy in this
one and. Two and he rolls on in and he,
(01:17:12):
says we're changing. It what's he? Do stops the? Border
he means. Fixed we don't even talk about the border.
Anymore when's the last time we talked about the. Border
we don't talk about the. Border nothing's going on. There
then from there it becomes, okay we're gonna get rid
of the bad, ones but we can't get rid of
(01:17:32):
the bad ones because everybody's standing up and, Saying i'm
going to Resist trump at all. Costs i will fight
till the bitter. End so rather than Have ice go
inside detention centers and take people who have orders to be,
(01:17:53):
removed not just snatching him off the, street but orders
to be, removed you, say we won't, cooperate and you're,
like WHAT i. Thought you want everybody to get the bad. Embrace,
yeah that's what we. Want so you're not going to, Cooperate,
nope because we're resisting at all. Costs, okay well then
(01:18:14):
we're going to go elsewhere And we'll have to do
what we have to, do and then you get stuff like,
this you're, fascist you're. Racist they're doing a. Job most,
PEOPLE i think if you ask, them most people would, say,
yeah too many people came. HERE i, mean we don't
want to get rid of the lady down the. Street
(01:18:35):
AS i was saying last, hour you, know the one
that's awesome and she makes The molly's For christmas and she's.
Great we don't really want to get rid of. Her
but if you're not going to, cooperate so what what
are we to? Do when you live in a world of,
extremes you get broken dreams and crappy. Answers people aren't
(01:18:57):
serious when they live in the world of Extreme they're
serious in the sphere that they live in that's, small
but outside of, THAT i think they'd be surprised to, realize,
oh this isn't what we thought it. Was which brings
me to. This we talked about it, yesterday The Purple,
revolution WHICH i didn't get into as much AS i
(01:19:19):
wanted today because there's you, know every day it's something,
New but this right here is very. Interesting Adam, gentilsen
part of The Searchlight. Institute now this he's an, author
he's a. Commentator he was With Major, garrett who's got
his own podcast, thing and he served As John fetterman's
(01:19:40):
chief of. Staff he was also the deputy chief of
staff Of Democratic senator and Leader Harry, reid which is
interesting BECAUSE i don't think a lot of people know
About Harry reid and because everybody looks At Harry reid
as his Old democrat that was just Like Chuck schumer
and lived out there on the far.
Speaker 27 (01:19:58):
Left and he wasn't That Harry reid would be purity
tested out of Today's Democratic.
Speaker 2 (01:20:04):
Party he. Would, YES i do believe that's.
Speaker 27 (01:20:06):
True you, know he was as much as he's held
up as a hero to many on the loft these
days for his sort of hardball leadership, tactics which is
correct and correct with a no doubt who he was
when you covered At Capitol. Hill we discussed this at length.
Often but you, know he also was pro. Life he
was pro. Gun at one point in his. Career he
favored the abolition of The Fourteenth amendment and birthright.
Speaker 2 (01:20:28):
Citizenship so, YEAH i think those top pro, mining pro
mining very.
Speaker 27 (01:20:31):
Big you, know people think gaming is the number one
industry and about but actually it's. Mining so he's a
big defender of the mining. Industry the purity test is.
REAL i get it all the.
Speaker 2 (01:20:39):
Time peple try to purity test me when it comes
TO maga or, whatever AND i just. Laugh, no you know,
what you? WANT a purity test Me. America there you.
Go that's all you. Need you want to win some
trophy on either side for your. GROUP i care about
(01:21:00):
the exhausted, majority which is the vast majority of, us
and the purity testing and the wackiness that is going
on and the holding the party's feet to the fire
for the extremes gets you what it gets, you only more,
extremes and that is SOMETHING i want no part. Of
we're trying to do things differently. Here and one of
(01:21:22):
the things That Adam genteelsen says, here which again Search,
light it's a think tank that's. Centrist they were left,
leaning but they're a centrist think. Tank and one of
the things they talk about is the fact that these
groups these you, know like we were just playing that
lady from you, know first Grade, responder whatever the hell
(01:21:44):
they were. From there's so many of these groups out
there that are uber. Progressive they care about a singular,
thing and they're willing to do anything to force people
into a position that the average person, right eight and
a half out of ten think is.
Speaker 27 (01:22:04):
Ridiculous, well the groups are any interest group that is
narrowly focused on a single issue and Pushes democrats to
take extremist positions on those. Issues so not every organization
is a, group but the way to know if you're
a group or not is if you are Pushing democrats
to take a maximalist position on whatever is the issue
(01:22:25):
that you exist to advocate.
Speaker 2 (01:22:26):
For climate, change, immigration, right trans. ISSUES i, mean we
could talk about all of these things that we've talked,
about and that's Why republicans continue to win because the
extremism there most people want no part of. That they
could look and, say, okay not a fan of everything over,
(01:22:48):
here but there's common sense over here where over here
on the, left the common sense seems to have. Disappeared
but it's not healthy to have, this and the right
has it. Too that's why we're trying to do more
with us here setting stuff. Up you, know they call
it The Purple revolution and whatever it, is it's not
(01:23:09):
what it. Is it's the exhaust. Majority that's what we,
are and we're going to be taking back the conversation
more and more every single. Day america, first that's what we're.
About and it's not About america first and damn everyone.
Else it's like being on an airplane the oxygen comes,
(01:23:30):
down you put it on yourself, first and then find
out what you can do to help your. Neighbors if
that makes, sense maybe, YEAH i thought, so we should
do ninety seconds of the. Shutdown but there is a
ninety seconds to. Do let's be, honest they're shut. Down
(01:23:51):
i'll tell you when they're going to come. Back hold, on,
here is anybody getting fifty one percent of the? Blame, no,
well then nobody's coming back just yet currently since about
thirty eight percent for The, republicans thirty percent for The,
democrats and thirty two percent say both. Parties once it
(01:24:13):
gets to fifty point one, percent not just fifty, one
but fifty point, one then we'll see some. Movement until,
then enjoy the shutdown while it. Lasts at least they're
not spending all of her money all of the. Time the, issue,
though about travel is going to be the first THING
i think that the average person who doesn't work with
(01:24:36):

even asking for.
Speaker 2 (01:30:24):

he may do. It same thing With. Diddy both of
them are going to be a nightmare if you. Do
we will see if he. Does you just never. Know with,
him you never. Know But i'm thinking he, can't which
means he probably. Will coming, up our, Buddy Mike, clients military,
analyst joins the. Program we're going to talk About, russia
(01:30:46):
what's going on, there because that's quietly gone to the.
Side how close are do we peace? Steal and what
happened last week with the big? Meeting all that and
so much more straight At Chad benson.
Speaker 23 (01:30:56):
Shown Chad Benson, Show.
Speaker 1 (01:31:19):
The Chad Benson.
Speaker 2 (01:31:20):
Show he's the best stand military analyst in the. Business
we talk about it every. Week Michael, liones retired major
in The army and military, analyst joins the. Program all,
right Last, tuesday AND i saw you ON. CBS i
think the lady was trying to get you to say
something horrible about that meeting last. Week. UH i have
always said, THIS i get you, know you want to
(01:31:42):
have inclusion in certain, places and you, know the people
tried to do TO dei for years and it became.
RIDICULOUS i get. That there's That i've always, said the
military is not the place to do. This it's a
place for smashing and crushing and. Killing that's what the military.
Speaker 13 (01:31:56):
Is.
Speaker 15 (01:31:56):
Chad that's exactly. Right and you, know break, things kill.
People that is the reality of the situation of the
military in a combat. Zone it's a. Place you, KNOW
i never want your kids to, go my kids to go,
again but it's the harsh reality of the world we live,
in and you've got.
Speaker 16 (01:32:11):
To be prepared to do.
Speaker 15 (01:32:12):
That What pete Haig seth wants as The secretary Of
war is to return to this military.
Speaker 16 (01:32:18):
We had in the.
Speaker 15 (01:32:18):
Nineties he actually wasn't even in it at the. Time
but the standard was one, standard one physical standard for.
Speaker 16 (01:32:24):
Men it Wasn't he's not racist or.
Speaker 15 (01:32:27):
Misogynists he just wants one standard that everyone meets in
order to have that to be in that combat zone
and in those combat arms units and the.
Speaker 16 (01:32:36):
Like so it is a return to the back to.
Speaker 15 (01:32:40):
The future for what exactly what he perceives the militaries
want to, do because over the past twenty, years this last,
generation the standards have.
Speaker 16 (01:32:47):
Slipped there's no question about.
Speaker 15 (01:32:49):
It we've dropped the physical standards to allow women in combat,
units and that's what he's talking. About SO i thought
that he did a great job in that if you
can't argue with what he said with this return to standards,
here because anything else is just social re, engineering.
Speaker 2 (01:33:04):
Which is insane because again it's the military smashing and
crushing and killing and, protecting not, hey let's make sure
we have enough of, this that and the, other WHICH
i find. Ridiculous that should never been that. Way let's,
so what was the overall take, right? Like BECAUSE i
looked AT i thought it was kind of a raw ra,
meeting and, Look i'm not much of a meeting. Guy
(01:33:25):
i've always thought ninety nine percent of meetings could be
done by. Email what was your sense Of hegseth and Then? Trump,
well overall net.
Speaker 15 (01:33:33):
Positive From hegseth's, PERSPECTIVE i thought it was good to
get everybody in the. Room they could feel the.
Speaker 16 (01:33:38):
Vibe you.
Speaker 15 (01:33:39):
Know there was not a single general officer that you,
know got out of their desk and got on a
plane and went right to that. Meeting there was, Networking
they did a lot of other, Things SO i think
it was a net positive from that. PERSPECTIVE i thought
the message was. SOUND i, thought you, know coming from
specifically him was. Important so from from his side of the,
COIN i thought he.
Speaker 16 (01:34:00):
Did a good.
Speaker 15 (01:34:00):
JOB i was a little disappointing the, president no. Question
he starts to ramble, on made it very, political said
things that were likely. Inappropriate that audience was not going
to stand up and, clap that audience was going to
show no. Emotion that was a good sign that the
generals just kind of sat. There, also if you, noticed
there was more NCOs in the room for The secretary
Of war's speech than there were for The. President when
(01:34:22):
The president, spoke it was all the three, stars four,
stars two.
Speaker 16 (01:34:25):
Stars one. Stars it was literally all the officer.
Speaker 15 (01:34:28):
Corps but, again The PRESIDENT i don't think communicated very well,
unfortunately had the, chance was not going to turn that
into a political.
Speaker 16 (01:34:35):
Rally those officers were going to let that.
Speaker 2 (01:34:36):
Happen talking To Michael lion's military, analysts best damn analysts
in the, business speaking of The, PRESIDENT i think you're
the perfect person talk about. It you've got The National
guard and then you're hearing stories about we're going to
send The, Airborn we're going to do.
Speaker 13 (01:34:48):
This.
Speaker 2 (01:34:48):
Yeah the reality, is as we were just talking, about
the military is for is you're a, Combatant you're not a.
SUSPECT i am not a big. FAN i like The,
constitution love The. Constitution not a big, fan and of our,
military whether it's The National guard or any other part
of it on the streets of our country trying to
police in any, way shape or.
Speaker 16 (01:35:07):
Form totally, Agree totally agree with.
Speaker 15 (01:35:09):
THAT i think that The president unfortunately uses words that
are not helpful when he says things like we're going
to send the eighty second To, Portland. Oregon it just
it's not happening active duty.
Speaker 16 (01:35:19):
Troops in one.
Speaker 15 (01:35:20):
Level when he mobilizes The, guard for right. Now he
can do it under this guise of PROTECTING, ice who
clearly get over their heads at times when you look
at the videos and see what's going.
Speaker 16 (01:35:32):
On and specifically how they're being.
Speaker 15 (01:35:34):
Attacked but they have to, be you, know in this
reserve mode where they're not trained in order to be
basically policemen and to go AFTER us.
Speaker 16 (01:35:46):
Citizens that's not a good.
Speaker 15 (01:35:47):
LOOK i think that from a political, perspective that that
side is trying to go the guard into doing that
and THE ice agents into doing, that it's not a good.
LOOK i think this is about the election next year
and and trying to show that The trump is a
fascist and trying to create a dictatorship when he's just
trying to look for law in. ORDER i think most
(01:36:07):
people now are, saying, well then forget. It you want you,
do want no, help then burn to the. Ground who
cares If chicago burns to the, Ground who cares If
portland burns to the. Ground it's not worth the political
compital he's going to use in order to try to
fix what's clearly a.
Speaker 2 (01:36:19):
Problem all, right we moved from there to two years.
Ago today people woken to the to the word That
israel had been. Attacked we are closer than ever before
and getting some sort of deal done With. Mos they're
mating An, egypt and again we don't know what that's
actually going to look. LIKE bb and The Cook party
(01:36:40):
they don't seem thrilled by, it And trump's basically tell, them, look,
dude shut, up stop being so. Negative take the damn.
WIN i still feel like there's work to do there
BECAUSE i think as much As trump wants, IT i
think the world wants, It i'm not Sure bebe and
everybody else over there wants.
Speaker 16 (01:36:55):
It, now there is there's work to.
Speaker 15 (01:36:56):
Do AND bb in The israeli people want a complete total,
victory and right now they still they have agreed to
give up the, hostages but they won't give up the,
ministries they won't give up their, weapons and From israel,
perspective that's just not going to work two years in
at this, point so you, know a twenty point piece
(01:37:16):
process just doesn't seem to work from the very.
Speaker 16 (01:37:20):
Beginning that's just too many. Things we can't make.
Speaker 15 (01:37:23):
This this is going to sound like a crazy, analogy
but it can't be The treaty Of. Versailles we can't
make it so bad that that it does look like
that The palestinian people have no chance to, recover or
what's even worse is in twenty years that they fall
into some other area and come back and Attack israel.
Again that's that's what we don't need as. Well so
(01:37:43):
but but The israelis are not going to tolerate anything
less than one hundred percent of the hostages, back complete
disarmament and giving up any kind of political power Within
palestine with The palestine. People AND i just don't see
The humaus doing.
Speaker 2 (01:37:59):
That i'm not Sure hamas will or won't. DO i
think they'll do some of. That how much of that
they WON'T i think a lot of it has to
do with the fact that is there going to be
a buffer zone Is, israel because that seems to be
the sticking. Point, Okay, israel we'll do all of those
things because you, guys you guys need to leave and not.
Occupy and you AND i both talked about this occupation
is the worst part of any of, this because every
(01:38:21):
nook and, cranny every crevice is a place where you
could get. Killed should they agree and pull out and
say all, right lay your weapons down and we're out of,
here is that something that they should do or should you,
know and go all in with everything or.
Speaker 15 (01:38:35):
Not, WELL i guarantee you the general officers are telling
Bib nittanya who that they can't do, that because that
pause is this classic negotiation technique that These Middle eastern
countries use in order to kind of catch their, breath
to rearm and. Refit so THAT'S i guarantee The general
officer saying we can't do. That Gaza city is fundamentally.
(01:38:56):
Flattened the tunnel systems are being. DESTROYED i just don't
see them leaving on any anyway until they get. Disagreement
so they're going to use that as leverage at this point.
Speaker 16 (01:39:08):
That israel has all the cards.
Speaker 15 (01:39:10):
Right to Use trump's From they have all the, cards
And trump just wants to get to a. SOLUTION i
hope his transaction based mentality doesn't force try to Force
israel into taking something that they don't want to, take
because it's actually their security that's more important Here.
Speaker 2 (01:39:23):
Russia nobody's talking about. It massive. Mombings you, Know israel's
kind of got front and center in our politics as well,
here but that's still going. On and it's weird Because
trump a couple of weeks, ago is, like you know,
what if you're not going to, listen you, Know, pooter
then you know, What we're going to figure out a
way to make sure that they can become. Offensive but
the OFFENSE i see is still only coming From.
Speaker 15 (01:39:45):
Russia, sure and we've not Provided ukraine the kind of
things that we said we were going To tomahawk missiles
and long range type weapon. Systems they just they haven't
gotten there. YET i, know you, know we continue to
rotate troops Into poland and but we know that the
impact of the war now is starting to more or
(01:40:06):
less affect The ukraine, markets their energy markets and the,
like as As russia has this capability to grind Down
ukraine and their country just because of their, size So
ukraine continues to. INNOVATE i think that that it's still
a stalemate for all practical, purposes and according to some
(01:40:27):
on The United states, side that Means russia is. Losing
but they, again they could still they can still grind
this out for many years if we don't start pouring
weapons into Into ukraine sometime.
Speaker 2 (01:40:36):
Soon. VENEZUELA i, mean the fact is now we've declared
war on the, cartels in, particular they're going After, trende you,
Know arawa and these other groups Throughout. Venezuela there seems
to be a, sense and we've talked about. It nobody
else seems to be talking about there should. Be there's.
Oil there's a lot of issues that you know that
play into. This not the, drugs because the drugs that
(01:40:57):
come through there are so minimal comparatively To columbia Or.
Mexico what do you see going? On BECAUSE i still
think that there is something, coming and it's going to
be sooner rather than. Later they called off diplomatic outreach.
YESTERDAY i feel like it's starting to heat.
Speaker 16 (01:41:13):
Up, YEAH i think you're.
Speaker 15 (01:41:15):
RIGHT i think as we continue to put assets in certain,
Areas logistical, ASSETS i know we've put, some, obviously the
naval assets are sitting. There we've got these maritime air,
strikes you, know going back and. FORTH i think this
administration's trying to get the government to collapse. Internally now
that usually doesn't always respond. That in, fact sometimes the
(01:41:36):
civilians can respond in support of. Them what happens to the,
villains you, know The venezuelan, military does it actually, fight
does it want to get into this fight with The United.
States but all the acids are in place to do
air missions and strikes and all coming from. Offshore we
don't have to put, anybody you, know any boots.
Speaker 16 (01:41:53):
On the, ground so to.
Speaker 15 (01:41:54):
Speak but let's hope it's not a little bit of
a wag the dog only because again from the political city,
situation The, REPUBLICANS i, think have got to try to
make sure that they win this the midterms next year
in order to keep their agenda. Going that they have
this momentum now going with all these different things in
(01:42:14):
the first nine to ten months of The trump. Administration
but again from a straight military, perspective would be of
course no. Match but let's hope people in the national
security are, saying, hey, look let's kind of just lead
this in place right. Now maybe they'll collapse from. Within
it's not worth the.
Speaker 2 (01:42:28):
Fight if we were to go after the, Cartels you've Got,
sinelo you, know you've Got jalisco next. Generation you've got
the golf cartels In, mexico they're the big. Ones you've
got a couple big ones In. Columbia the fact is
there's no match for. Us that being, said it still
could get rather ugly when you consider the kind of
firepower that some of these people have and the reach
(01:42:50):
with even inside of our country when it comes to gang.
Speaker 15 (01:42:53):
Members, right it would be it would bring an asymmetrical
war to the streets of The United states THAT i
just don't think we would. Welcome it would have to
put everybody on high, alert local law enforcement in. Particular
it would it would, be you, know we'd stir a
hornet's nest on some of the. Lot doesn't mean we
don't go after it in some pieces and try to
(01:43:15):
trid it, down but the level of destruction from a
military perspective we'd have to do with these locations at
these factories would would take it down, initially but like anything,
else like any other terrorist, organization they would they would,
Resurface so it would really it's it would be something
that we'd have to really think through and make sure
we were prepared for because it Could it could open
(01:43:36):
Up pandora's box that we never, get you, know the
genie back in the.
Speaker 2 (01:43:39):

of Made Florence pew a star is Called. Midsommer the
(01:46:42):
Stars Florence, Pugh Jack, Reynner William Jackson, harper And Will.
Poulter you guys are recognized these, people you saw. Them
Florence pugh is. Huge it is about a festival In
sweden inspired By Nordic midsommar, rituals and it is. Creepy
(01:47:03):
the Director Ari astor, Said, look it's a breakup movie
disguised as a horror, movie but it is. Terrifying first of,
all it's, daylight which is. Creepy, secondly they're in the
middle of nowhere and they go through these ancient, rituals
including AND i want to give too much, away killing
some people inside of the village and or those people
(01:47:26):
committing suicide inside of the, village which is quite frankly.
Creepy please that part of the. Movie they went to
(01:47:55):
a ritual where people tossed themselves off a cliff in
front of. Everybody and these are just you, know Some
american young men and women who had no idea this was.
Happening that's when they, realized, oh we're in for. Something
it is absolutely frightening and again shot in the, daylight
(01:48:15):
which is also something that is creepy and weird because
the sun never sets certain times of the year in
places in The scandinavian. Countries so it is an amazing.
Movie the, atmosphere the way it's shot is. Incredible Florence
pugh is. Amazing and if you like stuff that's surprising
(01:48:35):
and it's psychological and at the same time you're, like,
