Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Biggest story of the weekend was not Ukraine, was not
Trump's cabinet picks. And we'll get to all of those things. Oh,
but kids, The biggest story of the weekend freaking Tyson
and Paul and that freaking debacle.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
The fight going all the rounds, Paul winning by unanimous decision.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
He's the goat.

Speaker 4 (00:35):
I look over to him, I'm inspired by him, and
we want to be here today without him.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
It was Iron Mike's first sanctioned fight since two thousand
and five, when Paul the YouTube personality turned boxer was
just eight years old.

Speaker 5 (00:47):
Oh what is your assessment of Jake Paul the boxer,
the very good fighter.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Paul is twenty seven, Tyson is fifty eight. Their thirty
one year age difference said to be the biggest age
gap in professional boxing history.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Blardi frickin' blar look. Tyson looked his age and then some.
But there's a lot of questions about what the hell
was going on. Both of them had chances to knock
the crap out of each other and didn't. I'm pissed.
I'd ask for my money back, but it was on Netflix.
Netflix has some issues that's for sure. The complaints were

(01:23):
many because at first I thought, oh, what the hell's
going on with ours? With our stuff, right, because it
just it wasn't working. It was the buffering of death
that was happening. But no, it was them. They were
not prepared.

Speaker 6 (01:35):
Netflix is just getting started with live sporting events. They
have two NFL games on Christmas. There were buffering issues,
streaming issues throughout the day with everybody watching. So what
looks like some issues have to be worked on in
the next month.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Yeah, some people were resorting to going online and finding
people that were streaming it live while they were there.
I think it was Antonio Brown, the football player. He
was there, he was streaming it live, and like eight
million people watched this stream, so we had to do
not with his We found somebody else. But I was pissed.

(02:11):
I was there was sixty million people. They were not
prepared for that at all. But I was not happy.
I'll tell you what, Come on, Mike, you had chances.
You had chances to knock him down, to knock him out,
and you didn't take it, and vice versa. He had
chances to come after you and it didn't happen. And

(02:34):
I'm not very happy about that. You had your chance
and you didn't take it. And yes, look, age plays
a role because you could tell a few things. First,
his knee was not right, and while in amazing shape

(02:56):
and a beast at fifty eight seven year old looked
young and fresh, it just looked different.

Speaker 5 (03:03):
You know, fifty eight A lot of people thought you
shouldn't be here. A lot of people thought you'd be
done and dusted in the first round. Do you feel
like you proved the world wrong that you could at
least go eight rounds with a younger man.

Speaker 7 (03:15):
I didn't prove nothing to anybody, only to myself. I'm
not one of those guys that looked to leave the world.
I'm just happy with what I can do.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Yeah, there you go. Well, I'll tell you what, father
time still undefeated, as they said in the middle of it.
So it was interesting too. On top of all of that,
who were the announcers, So the regular guy that announces,
but then you had Roy Johnes Junior, who is great,
one of the greatest fighters of all time, and Rosie Peretz,
who I thought did an okay job all things considered.

(03:44):
The sad thing was taking away from all of that
that fight, the debacle, that exhibition, whatever it was. The
two fights before were arguably two of the best fights
I have ever seen, and the woman fight before, uh
was incredible, one of the best fights I've ever seen.

(04:07):
It was amazing. But all that people are talking about
is the debacle that was. But people aren't as pissed
because they didn't have to pay for it. I mean, yeah,
they got Netflix. Did that add anything to Netflix? How
many people bought it for six ninety nine? It's not
forty nine ninety nine. It was six ninety nine, and
you get other stuff. If you buy a fight for

(04:28):
forty nine ninety nine and it sucks and that's all
you got was the fight, well yeah, don't you at
least got Netflix. That's what I'm saying. Three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson shows your
Twitter tweet at his texta program. Meanwhile, Biden deciding to
push the stakes up when it comes to Ukraine.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
For the first time.

Speaker 8 (04:50):
President Joe Biden also right in Ukraine to use lorange
US missiles.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Just try.

Speaker 8 (04:56):
Russia has studying change in policy from just two months before.
A major factor in the decision US officials say ten
thousand North Korean troops arriving in Russia to fight alongside
the Russians, many expected to be part of a planned
defensive to take back the cursed region.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Yeah, what it is is everybody's going to get in
their final shots. And I saw that, you know, Putin
came out and basically said he's at war with NATO.
He's not. That's his rhetoric. He's got nuclear weapons. He
wants to push the envelope. People that are against giving
weapons and money to Ukraine are going to say, look,
what he's going to do is escalating.

Speaker 9 (05:31):
Now.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
This is get in as much as you possibly can
right now, the punches and blows that you need to
grab as much territory as possible. And then when all
is said and done and Trump comes in and they
say stop, that's when everybody looks around and goes, all right,
what do you have? And we're going to start from there.

Speaker 8 (05:51):
Intense conversations about possible negotiations to end this war once
President elect Donald Trump takes office. I Granian President Zelenski
says he believes the end of the war will be
closer after Trump's inauguration, saying the war will end, but
there's no exact date. Certainly, with the policy of this
team that's about to lead the White House, the war

(06:12):
will end faster.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
There's no doubt that that's going to happen. And who
needs it more? I think Putin needs it more. But
there's no doubt that the Ukrainians have suffered tremendously and
they don't have the manpower, the person power, whatever you
one to call it, to stand there and fight forever. Now,
technologically wise, we could supply with enough stuff that would

(06:33):
more than tip the scales. But that being said, that
risk escalation, which nobody wants, and Putin needs to find
a way out and look somewhat victorious. And you've heard
last week that there are several people inside of Ukraine
that are happy about the potential of Trump coming in
because they recognize this cannot go on forever. The question, though,

(06:56):
is why now are we giving them these weapons? What
is it is?

Speaker 10 (07:02):
It?

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Is it really just for negotiation purposes? I think so.
But let's not forget the fact that you know, they've
up the game as well with North Koreans being there.
They've up the game tremendously, taking weapons from Iran and
North Korea and anywhere they can get him, So it's
not like that they're just like, no, we're only using
our own.

Speaker 11 (07:22):
Well, I think he's reversing course because first the North
Koreans have come in on the ground, and they've also
brought not just the troops but also apparently some long
range artillery, so this is a sort of counter escalation.
And secondly, because the Ukrainian situation on the ground is
going to increasingly dire, we haven't given them all of

(07:44):
the ammunition, all the support that they've asked for, not
even all it's been promised. Much of it never arrives,
some of it arrives inoperative, not just from US, but
from our other allies and friends who are nominally giving
them this equipment. So they're in desperate str and these
A tackles might provide some limited assistance.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
Some limited assistance. It's about the battle. Get as much
as you possibly can. That's Wesley Clark there, former general
who's talking about what this could and couldn't do for them,
and the Russians will make it out to be a
much bigger deal than it is. They're not nuclear tipped,
there's none of that stuff. It is still going to
be limited in scope comparatively to what we could give

(08:28):
them and at the same time what Russia could do
to them if they wanted to. Everybody wants a way
out where they can hold their head high and feel
like they got something out of it.

Speaker 11 (08:38):
I think it gives the Ukrainians a little bit greater
bargaining leverage because it's not just about ending the fighting.
There have been fifty to one hundred and fifty thousand
children abducted from Don Boss that have been placed with
Russian parents, that are being robbed of their identity.

Speaker 10 (08:54):
So they started this war.

Speaker 11 (08:55):
It's not just a matter of saying, hey, let's just
hold off here and stop the shooting. That's not what's
going to resolve this. This is a much deeper problem
that President Drump's got to deal with. Any leverage your
grain has at this point is going to be.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Important because it's about getting what you it's about holding
on to what you can hold on to. And they're
going to lose some area in the Don Boss regions,
certain areas they're going to lose that we're already being
disputed and fought about for the last decade plus. They're
going to lose some of that, but it's about being
able to hold your head up. Everybody wants to walk

(09:31):
out of their feeling like they've got something, they protected,
something they won something, without looking like they lost to
their people. It's important, especially for the pooter, to do that,
and the same thing for Zelinsky's going to go down
as a hero. He is. He's going to go down
as a hero. He doesn't have to worry about that.
But he also has to come to the understanding that

(09:53):
the eternal fight isn't going to continue to happen. It
just can't. And he knows he doesn't have the people
for it, and he's looking for a way out as
much as anybody else.

Speaker 11 (10:02):
I think the red line term is the way that
putin Stalemate's Western support to Ukraine, and he's used these notions,
these threats continuously. We have interpreted as red lines. If
you listen to what the White House says, they're constantly
anguishing over that the red lines might be. Oh, and

(10:23):
the result is we penny parcel to our assistance out.
We've come too little with not enough. We've given the
Russians every advantage to take the initiative away from the
Ukrainians and Natasha, you just have to appreciate the human
toll of this. There are hundreds of thousands of wounded Ukrainians.
More than fifty thousand Ukrainians are awaiting some kind of prosthesis.

(10:48):
The average Ukrainian has to go through three amputations. I mean,
we're imposing tremendous suffering on the Ukrainians, and a lot
of that suffering is caused by the fact that from
beginning we've withheld such military assistance, training and support that
they could have used. They could have absorbed it and

(11:08):
done a much better job of holding the line against
the Russians.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
But we didn't because we were worried about his rhetoric
and his red line, forgetting that we too can draw
red lines and call them out. Three two, three, five, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at she had Benson show
it's your Twitter tweet at a text program. A lot

Speaker 1 (13:10):
Chad Benson.

Speaker 9 (13:11):
On some of the calls, prosecutors say Combs is explicit
about his intention to use public statements to sway potential jurors,
including this Instagram post by Diddy's.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Kids Day You Daddy.

Speaker 9 (13:26):
Prosecutors say Comb's enlisted family members to plan and execute
a social media campaign around the defendant's birthday. Combs has
been held since his September arrest on racketeering, sex trafficking,
and prostitution charges. He's pleaded not guilty.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
You see the guy he's representing. I don't even know
how many now people on the civil side of the
cases in Texas said, all you other stars, you know
who you are. You better start paying out or else.
Remember it's a racketeer charge, so you can't do all

(14:04):
the things he did without other defendants, So there will
be more defendants. Everybody knows that it's just when will
they'll be Will he ever get out of jail? That's
the other side of this, Will he ever get out
of jail even on bail.

Speaker 12 (14:17):
If the judge in fact feels is though Diddy is
trying to circumvent the rules of the prison and he's
doing things outside of what he's allowed to do.

Speaker 10 (14:25):
That's going to.

Speaker 12 (14:25):
Carry a lot of weight when we talk about being
released on bail.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Yeah, he's never getting out, nor should he, because he's
already shown he can't stop himself from getting to people.
And those people, by the way, are being get to already.
If you will, because you know that there are tons
of people that work within Diddy's sphere and they're going
out and they're talking to these people trying to get
them to shut up. It isn't going to happen. There's

(14:51):
too many people that have come forward. You've got god
knows how many cases civilly, and even if a vast
majority of people decide not to testify because he's given
him tons of money, there are other situations when it
comes to miners where that's not going to be your option, brother,

(15:15):
and he's he's done for as he should be. But
I will say this, the sound of silence in Hollywood
is rather odd. Don't you think it's rather odd. It's
a ceedy place, There's no doubt about that, on the
outside and on the inside. But just the sounds from
all of his Hollywood pals very quiet. Three two, three, five, three, eight,

(15:40):
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show, it
is your Twitter, your Instagram right here on the Chad
Benson Show. Somebody who is familiar with the case came
out the other day and he said, he makes Epstein
and R Kelly look like nothing. Remember, he's got videos

(16:01):
and pictures of all of these people, so you know
they're gonna do everything in their power to make sure
this goes away as well. Very interesting. This whole weekend
of Pugilism talked a little bit about, obviously the Tyson
fight the UFC, but what was interesting at the UFC
something that has not been talked about is justice for Peanut.
Jim Miller, who got his twenty seventh win, had the

(16:24):
opportunity to speak with Joe Rogan. By the ways, the
first round submission guillotine, who sad did not come off,
but still Jim Miller won, and then he had a
chance to talk to Joe Rogan. There he is celebrating,
and what did he talk about? Justice for freaking peanut.
It's about time, Amazing New York.

Speaker 10 (16:42):
I got one thing to say.

Speaker 13 (16:44):
First, we need justice for Peanut, right, Like, you know,
it's not.

Speaker 12 (16:50):
Trust the squirrel.

Speaker 13 (16:52):
It's all the kids that won't harm me that night
and all the other things that the money and resources
could have been put here for. Hopefully that doge cleaning
things up there.

Speaker 10 (17:02):
On the stay level. I like how you used your
spector speech for a political reality.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
I just love that. Hey, guys, it's about justice for Peanut.
That's what it's truly about. They waste all that money
trying to kill the squirrel and his buddy Steve or
Fred or whatever they the raccoon was. Nobody cares about
the raccoon. So it's a shame all those kids starving,
you guys went after a damn squirrel in a raccoon.
It's about justice. It's about spending money the right way.
Hopefully the dogs will fix that. If you're missing the show,

(17:30):
could have the podcast. It's a Chat Benson Show, Son
Chad Benson, Joe.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
The Chat Benson Shell.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
There's no shortage of crazy all over the internets. You
guys know that, I know that everybody knows that. This lady.
She wants to confirm that.

Speaker 14 (18:11):
Now it's your time to start making a plan. Women,
I'm here to talk to you today. The first thing
you're gonna do is you're going to delete your period
tracking app. I don't care what state you're in. Go
into your history. Take out a paper planner, write down
your history so that you have it. Because I know
that you use it to track wvulation and all that stuff.
You can't do that in an app anymore. Before you
delete the app, you're going to delete your data out
of the app. That's not a sure way to make

(18:34):
sure that they can't use it against you later.

Speaker 10 (18:36):
But it helps.

Speaker 14 (18:36):
Next thing you're going to do, you're gonna get planned
B or its prescription equivalent.

Speaker 10 (18:40):
I don't care if you don't need it right now,
just keep it on your shelf.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
Okay, So do that, all right, So do all that.
She's not done. She's telling you what to do to
apparently not have children and let nobody into any of
the areas that they could check and see if you're
on your period. Maybe heading towards your period. Thinks of
that nature idally important because you remember they're coming for you.

Speaker 14 (19:02):
Whether you ever consider getting an abortion for yourself or not,
this is vital information to you.

Speaker 10 (19:07):
You're going to get on some form of birth control.

Speaker 14 (19:09):
You're going to get the pill, you're going to get
the implant in your arm, you're going to get the IUD,
you're going to get your tubes tied. I don't care
if you're not sexually active right now, because guess what,
that doesn't mean you're not going to get pregnant.

Speaker 10 (19:21):
And speaking of that, I'm sorry, don't get pregnant right now?

Speaker 2 (19:26):
Well, I'm trying to go back that one. So what
do you mean if you're not sexually active doesn't mean
you can't get pregnant? Are you talking about the Immaculate conception?
Is that what you're talking about? Or is it rape?
Or is it that you want to have kids but
you have to go to fertility but you don't want

(19:46):
anybody know that you're going to. I'm trying to figure
that one out. It's crazy baby. Speaking of crazy, Bill
Maher did not let crazy off the hook when it
came to the Democrats and their lunacy is they continue
to run at their lunacy, all the while pretending like
they're not okay.

Speaker 15 (20:02):
And finally, norural, someone must tell the usual suspects on
the far left that the saying is when you're in
a hole, stop digging, not keep digging, talking about doubling
down on what got you in the first place. Even
the one concession I've heard a few people on the
losing side offer that liberals should stop saying that Trump
voters are stupid comes with a kind of unspoken parentheses.

(20:25):
We know they are stupid, just don't say it. Yeah,
I got bad news for you. They don't have a
monopoly on stupid. You wear Queers for Palestine t shirts
and masks two years after the pandemic ended, and you
can't define woman. You just lost a crazy contest to
an actual crazy person.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
Dah see what he did. There's true about him being crazy. No,
he's not really crazy. But the mask thing is hilarious.
Was that lady last week? She goes, we're gonna have
to mask up again against what There's a Trump virus
going around, and there's common sense involved in it.

Speaker 15 (21:00):
You love to speak truth to power, and we always should,
but you have completely lost the ability to speak truth
to both. The Democratic polling firm Blueprint told Democrats months
ago that black voters, aka they're supposedly liberal base, we're
more likely to find the president too liberal than too conservative.
They also found that voters didn't just want Harris to

(21:21):
distance herself from Biden, they wanted her to distance herself
from what they believe the entire Democratic Party has become
a bunch.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
Of privileged mean girls.

Speaker 15 (21:30):
What a shocker that the people who see everything through
the lens of race and sex see their election loss
as a result of racism and sexism.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
So, I mean, it's spot on. We talk about it
all the time here, you know, Bill Maher skewing them.
I mean, we do it every day. And it's not
the average liberal, the liberal that is what we would
consider the classic liberal, the old school democrat. No, it's

(22:00):
not them, it's the wackado progressives, mostly built around young
women who live in a world of fear and hysteria,
and everything is about race and gender, Everything is identity politics.
Everything is not built in reality. And people who are

(22:25):
built in reality, like the everyday person, wasn't having any
of it. Wasn't And it's so bizarre to see where
everything was headed and the Democrats didn't understand that wasn't
hard to see. Are you guys serious it's about the economy?
Are you guys being serious? Because I'm not sure if
you're being serious or not it is about the economy, Well,

(22:46):
we don't think it is. We think it's about him
being evil and bad and all of the things. If
he's all of the things, why did they still meet
with him, why do they still talk to him? Why
do they still go to you know, I don't know
events where he's at where they all roast each other
because they're out to scare you. They think you're limited
in your ability to understand what's going on, so they're

(23:07):
telling you. They're preaching at you that this is the
true issue, and they know better than you do, even
though you're like, you may know better than we do
week week nudge, nudge, but I know better when it
comes to my life, and my life says life's more expensive.
There's too many people here illegally, and I don't want
to go to war.

Speaker 15 (23:26):
Democrats run for office as if the voters don't live here,
as if they don't go to the grocery store and
Starbucks and the office.

Speaker 10 (23:34):
But they do.

Speaker 15 (23:35):
They live here, and they actually see women and people
of color, and it doesn't look like some patriarchal racist nightmare.
Do problems remain pertaining to racism and sexism, of course,
But a pole last year asked if America is the
greatest country in the world, More blacks and Hispanic Americans
agreed with that than the white progressives.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Of course, because they're what they're guilty of. How this
country is. They always feel guilty about it. They always
feel guilty about all the stuff because they think it's
the best thing to do is to feel guilty about
all of the greatness that America is, therefore apparently absolving

(24:16):
them of some crimes that happened way in the past
that they weren't involved with and had nothing to do with.
But it makes them feel better, But it actually doesn't
do anything, which is very much a progressive liberal idea.

Speaker 15 (24:26):
It asked if racism is built into our society, White
progressives agreed with that at higher levels than black and
Hispanic people. It asked if government should increase border security,
same results. Hispanic Americans are less okay with illegal immigration
than whitey the votes are in they don't want your pity,
and black people can't afford to indulge rich white people's

(24:48):
need to endlessly flagellate themselves. They just want prices to
go down and good jobs and the police. When you
call them black people, they're.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
Just like us. Yeah, not insane, you know. And that
whole defund police so much of that again white liberal women,
low team men, progressives who lived on college campuses for
a vast majority of their adult life, as far as
never getting into the real world, pushing something that they

(25:18):
thought was going to be a helper when in reality,
defunding the police hurt who the people in areas where
they need the police. And yet people are like, let's
go along with it because it sounds good. It's good,
because everything's about sounding good, feeling good. They are the
epitome of virtue signaling.

Speaker 15 (25:36):
There's a lot to not like already about the new regime,
but maybe take one week to ask what you did wrong.
The basis for democratic campaigns has become we're the smart people.
Democrats have become like a royal family because of so
much incest has unfortunately had children who are retarded, and
the same thing can happen to ideas, if they are

(25:57):
also conceived in an atmosphere of electual incest. Maybe take
the close pins off your noses and actually converse with
the other half of the country.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
Stop screaming at.

Speaker 15 (26:07):
People to get with the program, and instead make a
program worth getting with.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
He said the R word. He's probably going to be canceled.
I hope not. He's not.

Speaker 15 (26:18):
What good is liberalism if you don't win elections. It's
important for America to have a center left party and
for that party to be competitive, and a good first
step toward that goal would be to make the voters
not want to punch you in the face. You with
your aggressively anti common sense agenda and exclusionary attitude, blew it.

(26:40):
You lost everything, House, Senate, White House, Supreme Court.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
Pty, thanks giving everybody.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
I will say this, we need a center left, we
need a center right, we need the balance, We need
a strong third party. I would like to see a
strong third party, and it doesn't need to be a
third but if it could get fifteen percent. What you
build as coalitions, what you build is strength. What you
build is compromise for the betterment of this country. Democrats

(27:15):
lost because they preached Democrats lost because they felt they
were better than and they still do. The Democrats lost
because most importantly, they didn't listen, and that's why they lost.
And if they keep doing that, they'll keep losing. And
if they keep doing that again, they'll keep losing. Definition

(27:37):
of insanity is doing the same thing over and over
again without getting a different result. We'll see how long
this lasts. But as long as you have young women
in particular, who are a vast majority of your base,
screaming and yelling insane things, all the while going to pilates,
all the while going and talking about how evil America

(28:02):
is and how this is the only thing that's important,
you're going to continue to get the same results. Three two, three, five,

Welcome to chat Chet. No, not the country, the institution,
the Chad Benson show.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
Watching them freak out over Trump's nominations. It's kind of funny.
Not gonna lie to you, but they don't have any experience.
The people that do experience seemed to suck, so maybe
we try something different. Doesn't mean they're all going to
get through. Doesn't mean there's not skeletons in their closet
that hasn't been thought of and hasn't been brought out

(30:12):
to light because they haven't been in the position where
people have dug deep Pete Hetskith. It's one of the
people there apparently has been some issues with him when
it comes to ladies, which I'm sure will come to
the forefront. Top of that. People are worried about, well,
you know some of the things in his book and
things of that nature. Oh my goodness.

Speaker 16 (30:34):
He says throughout his book and in public that the
senior leadership of the Pentagon generals should be fired.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
Because they are quote woke.

Speaker 16 (30:43):
He believes the Pentagon has gone too far with diversity
and inclusion training, and he has made quite clear he
does not think women should be in combat.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Yes, he's made that very clear. The woke thing. I'll
be real, I've been all over this since they started
implementing this deck and a half ago, whatever the hell
it was. The government does its inclusion and all that
kind of stuff. Okay, that's fine. When it comes to
the military, we don't need that. We need the best,

(31:13):
the strongest, the badassory that we can find. It's not
about inclusion. It's not about diversity. It's about going in
the same direction, pulling for the same cause, protecting our
nation with the best of the best, period case close,
end of story. It's about winning, it's about breaking things,
it's about being scary. It's not about diversity.

Speaker 16 (31:38):
He has made quite clear he does not think women
should be in combat. Women, of course, have been approved
for ground combat positions for a decade. They are in
those positions now. They are doing the work, they are excelling.
But whether he would try to make those changes or not,
it would be cultural shock, end all. They're imagine right
now being one of those women.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
Cultural shock and ah, And he has said some stuff
that you sit there and you go okay, but until
you get into that position. And when I see people
freak out about this, the thing that makes me laugh
is like, well, they have no experience. Well, his experience
is he's been on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan.
His experience is he's seen it from the top down

(32:17):
and live to tail the tale. Now, does it mean
he's going to get in? It doesn't. Does it mean
if he got in that he would be bad at it?
I have no idea. I don't know, but we're going
to find out. I have a feeling at least in
some of these quote unquote controversial picks, which are always

(32:38):
makes me laugh. They're controversial picks. Why because we don't
like them. They're not part of the establishment. They make
us nervous. Okay, So what I mean, get over that.
The Tulsi thing. I mean, they're going after Tulsi. It's
so funny that they're going after Tulsi. And that's okay.
I mean, you're going to go and pick apart some
of these people. I have no problem with that. That's

(32:58):
part of what it is that you're gonna do with
some of these things. The reality is is you want
to find out exactly who these people are. You're gonna
find out the ends and the outs of them. But
let's not forget the fact that Tulsi came out and
then the next day after an interview or one of

(33:19):
these town halls or something. She was put on a
no fly list and they're worried about what out of curiosity,
some sort of weird like, well, it could be the
deep state. She could become part of the deep state
that they talk about. Come on, enough of this crap,

(33:39):
find out what they are, Interview them, put them through
the ringer, as you should do, and if they're not
qualified based on reality, not based on feelings, then that'll
come out and we go back to Some of these
people are going to be recess appointments, some of them aren't.
Nobody's freaking out over Marco tom Holman. People are upset

(34:00):
on the left over Tom Holman because he wants to
come at illegal immigration in a much different way by
actually enforcing the law and deportations. But it has nothing
to do with him being not capable of the job.
So be prepared for a battle of insanity that will

(34:21):
be coming. Tom Holman's going to be very interesting too,
because I mean he is a no nonsense, Like I said,
he's the kind of guy that never looks like he
smiles ever about anything. He just looks like I don't
want to go to Grandpa's house. He's mean, So we'll
see what that looks like in the coming weeks as

(34:43):
we get closer and closer, but most of his picks
so far outside of gets in. You know. The likes
of an RFK Junior is another interesting one. We'll get
to him in the next hour because I find that
fascinating at times with the battle that's going to go
on there. And did you see they're all on the
plane and he's eating a burger and everybody's freaking out

(35:06):
because it's McDonald's hamburger. He's never said you can't have stuff.
He just said, hey, everything in moderation, including vaccines, including vaccines,
well that makes him evil. It doesn't make him evil yet. Clowns.
A lot of clowns out there. Three two, three, five,

(35:27):
three eight, twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Show.
Is your Twitter tweet at us text the program right
here on The Chad Benson Show coming up a second hour.
A lot of stuff still to get to. More on
the fallout of the Tyson v. Paul fight. Tried to

(35:50):
watch it and we ended up having to stream it.
Not on Netflix, that's for damn sure, but we had
to stream it elsewhere, which drove me crazy. Top of that,
we've got more on what is going down when it
comes to Ukraine. Is this world War three or is
this just the move to get into position to have

(36:12):
bargaining chips that are bigger than the ones they have now.
If you miss any of the show, shame on you.
You can always make it up to me by grabbing
the podcast. It is the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (36:23):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show, and.

Speaker 17 (36:53):
Ladies and Chentleman book who is now making his way
till the world famous off Togi you FC CEO Dana
White Sooner forty seven The President's lasing Donald.

Speaker 2 (37:09):
Trump Trump at the UFC. Oh my god, it's right.
People went crazy seeing the Trump there. John Jones, who won,
very excited about his victory and very excited about the
President of being there.

Speaker 18 (37:29):
I also want to say a big, big thank you
to President Donald Trump for.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
Being here tonight. If you didn't see when he knocked
the guy out, he did the little dance, and the
dance was everywhere this past weekend College football, pro football,
they're all doing the dance, the little shimmy he does,
which is hilarious. Can't believe it's it is hilarious. Should
like it or else you're going to go to jail.

(37:56):
If you don't do the Trump shimmy, You're going to
jail everybody. He's got to have a comb over. It's
going to be just like North Korea. That's the way
people are. What's gonna happen to us? God, speaking of
real issues Ukraine, real issue going on right now, very
real issue. We're going to be sending them some stuff.

(38:18):
Oh why is that? Well, because the battle's going to
get nastier from here on out, and the goal is
fight your ass off till Trump gets in and then
the dust will settle and then they'll divvy everything.

Speaker 19 (38:33):
Up, including in recent days and weeks a significant Russian
escalation that involves the deployment of a foreign country's forces
on its own territory. The United States has been clear
that we would.

Speaker 2 (38:45):
Respond to that, and we are with long range missiles.

Speaker 19 (38:48):
This has been consistent with our approach to the entire conflict.
If there are circumstances that evolve and change, you know,
we will evolve and change to meet them and to
allow the Ukrainians to continue to defend their territory and
their soft.

Speaker 2 (39:00):
It's about negotiation, always everything about the negotiation.

Speaker 8 (39:04):
Intense conversations about possible negotiations to end this war. Once
President elect Donald Trump takes office, Ukrainian President Zelenski shais
he believes the end of the war will be closer
after Trump's inauguration, saying the war will end, but there's
no exact date. Certainly with the policy of this team
that's about to lead the White House, the war will

(39:25):
end faster.

Speaker 2 (39:26):
So there that is. So we're gonna give him a
long range business. They're not nuclear tipped. And I love
it when you know, because everybody's like, well, look at
Putin's already said World War three because now he's fighting NATO. Dude,
you brought in North Koreans. You've been taking freaking stuff
from everybody who would give you stuff. The access of
a holes have been handing you stuff all day long.

(39:48):
You're using North Koreans on the battle field. This is
so settled down they and you know they've got our
stuff and they've been using So the thought process that you,
in some way, shape or form, are going to escalate
you not you want a way out. It's always about

(40:09):
how can we get out of this situation where you
look like a hero. Your people are happy because you
were the conquering hero and saving the Russian speaking people
in the don Bass region, and you got to hold
on to Crimea, most of which you already had anyways.

(40:30):
And on the other side of it, Zelensky's gonna look
like a hero. It's like a hero because he held
you off. And everybody gets to step away looking like
they got something. And then uneasy piece. That's probably what
you're gonna get, some uneasy piece. Oh there'll be some

(40:52):
saber rattling, but for the most part, nothing else is
gonna go on. And Trump has to go in there
with a hey more, Zelenski, this is it. We're putting
an end to this thing. How many people do you
have that are dead? I want the war done and dusted,
no more. And then you go over and you look

(41:13):
at the booter and say, are you happy? Do you
feel good? You got your ass handed to you by
a small army that became the absolute badassory of civilian army,
with people that are teachers and mechanics and construction workers

(41:35):
and housewives and single fathers, and you took them on
and you lost. How many people? Was it worth it?
Here's the way this is going to go. We're not
giving them anything else, but we guarantee that should you
jump again, you face us. Should you jump again, you're

(41:56):
fighting basically us. Why because think of it this way.
At this point in time, we're not putting we're not
letting them join NATO, we're not going to put any
weapons in there, but we are saying, you're a state.
You're like a state. So if you attack again, you
attack us. Everybody goes home, Everybody realizes what took place

(42:21):
and how miserable it had become, and hopefully that's it,
and then everybody turns their eyes to the Middle East.
But I do think this is going to happen, and
I think it's becoming more and more evident that had
Trump won again, that this would never have happened. Well,

(42:46):
he's won again, and it happened. But now it's going
to stop. Are you happy with that? People speaking of that?
It's always fun to have craziness on a Monday. Hey
Trump supporter, let me ask you, Okay, you happy?

Speaker 20 (43:00):
Now you have.

Speaker 21 (43:01):
Control of the Supreme Court, Donald Trump's your new president.
You now have the House of representatives and the Senate.
Are you happy?

Speaker 2 (43:09):
Are you finally happy?

Speaker 21 (43:11):
You've been promising for the last ten years you were
going to take America back again, that you were going
to rule America.

Speaker 2 (43:18):
Well you won.

Speaker 21 (43:20):
Are you happy? Are you dancing?

Speaker 2 (43:22):
Are you rejoicing?

Speaker 21 (43:23):
Does it make you feel good that about ninety percent
of all the black folks here in the country their
civil rights are in danger? Does that make you happy?

Speaker 2 (43:32):
What are you talking about, you nut job? How is
there civil rights in danger? Why is it only ninety percent?
That's kind of weird too, right? Are you happy that
only ninety percent of black people civil rights are well?
Why is it that one hundred percent? I mean, if
black people's civil rights are in danger, why isn't it
one hundred percent? Because you're emotional? You are, let's hear

(43:57):
some more of emotions.

Speaker 21 (43:59):
Does it make you happy that all gay and lesbian
and trans people feel threatened by our government?

Speaker 2 (44:06):
Now?

Speaker 21 (44:06):
Are you happy that the same people thousands that built
hanging gallows on the steps of the Capitol and shattered
windows killed people, are now back in the highest seats
of government. Are you happy you have a Kennedy, Robert Kennedy,
who's going to be the head of Obamacare and HHS

(44:27):
and the CDC that believes vaccines and medicines that have
saved millions alive. For wakado in KOOKI are you happy?

Speaker 2 (44:36):
Where do we begin? Are you happy? I've got several
gay friends, and none of them are worried about anything.
They're not worried about being rounded up. They're not worried
about any of that stuff, none of it. What about
the trans people, I don't think trans I think the
person who is a trans person who's in their thirties
and forties and is not pushing anything on children. I

(44:59):
think if they're not worried about a damn thing. Let's
go back to this again when it comes to our kids,
stay away from our kids. I don't care what you're
talking about. And who are the people that built gallows
and are now in the highest place. I'm just again
and said, let's let's hear one more from just to
make sure that he's totally nuts.

Speaker 21 (45:17):
When you gather in your churches in the morning across
the country and you sing about victory in Jesus, and
you've made almost half of the other side of the
country won't to vomit when they think about coming into
your churches and your place of worship and the denigration
that they see of the Christ that has been done.
You rejoicing that that makes you happy? Be happy?

Speaker 2 (45:41):
You won be happy? What do I say, don't spike
the ball? That guy spiked the ball. What are you
talking about? How did you be happy? You want? Are
you talking about? Don't be happy now that you could
destroy the world and you can lock up everybody you
don't like? What are you Black people? Ninety percent of

(46:03):
them take away the riots, all the LGBTQ plus IBCDFG
take away the riots. Are you happy? You know what's
funny when I hear him say, and half the country's mad.
Half the country was gonna be mad either way. Right
was not gonna happen. Half the country was gonna be pissed.
The other half was gonna be happy. So you're okay
if your side one and that other people would have

(46:26):
made them sick to their stomach. But because the right
side one, well, it's evil because it's all based in emotions.
That's the worst emotions mm HM three two three, five
three twenty four twenty three at ched Benson's show is

(46:47):
your Twitter tweet at is texta program. It's gonna be
interesting coming up. We're gonna talk a little bit about
the Supreme Court because the lunacy of the Supreme Court
and how people are freaking out about that. But can
I just say this, there was a fight this weekend
and it wasn't at the UFC. No, no, no, no no.

(47:10):
It was the Tyson fight. The Paul Tyson fight. Historic, yes,
but sad as well.

Speaker 3 (47:17):
The fight going all the rounds, Paul winning by unanimous decision.

Speaker 2 (47:22):
He's the goat.

Speaker 4 (47:22):
I look up to him, I'm inspired by him, and
we wouldn't be here today without him.

Speaker 3 (47:27):
It was Iron Mike's first sanctioned fight since two thousand
and five, when Paul the YouTube personality turned boxer was
just eight years old.

Speaker 2 (47:35):
What is your assessment of Jake Paul the boxer the
very good fight.

Speaker 3 (47:39):
Paul is twenty seven, Tyson is fifty eight. Their thirty
one year age difference said to be the biggest age
gap in professional boxing history.

Speaker 2 (47:47):
I watched it, It was not thrilled. My buddy was
texting me on what kind of night it was. What
really took away from everything is the two fights before
that were amazing and incredible. And arguably the fights of
the year. And then you had a fifty eight year
old who, God bless him, is an amazing shape. But
it just felt like they were there not to knock

(48:08):
each other out, and that everybody should be happy that
they didn't pay forty nine ninety nine for the fight

Speaker 2 (49:50):
You're in a sanctuary city. You've got that deep blues feeling. Still,
don't worry about being deported because they will never allow
that to happen because they're going to do everything they
can to protect you. Says Michelle Boo of Bastin.

Speaker 22 (50:11):
We are providing the spaces to reach out directly to
our residence because the last thing we want is for
people who are part of our economy, part of our
school system, part of our community, and the fabric of
our city to feel that all of a sudden they
have to retreat into the shadows.

Speaker 2 (50:27):
No retreating. Don't worry. You could do whatever you want.
It's not a big deal, right, it's not a big deal.
They're going to do everything they can to resist part
of the resistance.

Speaker 22 (50:37):
Whether it's calling nine one one when you need it
or taking your child to school, those are all city
services that have nothing to do with immigration enforcement, and
we will continue to protect our residence within those spaces.

Speaker 2 (50:49):
That's right. You can do everything. Again, even if you've
committed a crime, maybe you've done something, they will do
everything to shield you.

Speaker 22 (50:56):
Make sure that we are doing our part to protect
our residents in every possible way, that we are not
cooperating with those efforts that actually threaten the safety of
everyone by causing widespread fear and having large scale economic impact.

Speaker 2 (51:12):
So she's being good. Going to resist, it's a smart
thing to do. Resist always at every turn, never stop resisting.
It's not very nice, Chad. Look, so much of what
Trump says is just hot air. Look, I'm not gonna

(51:33):
not I'm not going to deny the fact there's going
to be some deportations, and I'm not going to deny
the fact that there will be some people caught up
in it that you think, well, that's you know, that's horrible,
because that's gonna happen. But for the most part, don't
we want criminals gone? For the most part, don't we
want people that have not only broken the law, They're

(51:56):
not here to do good. They've broken the law elsewhere,
come here, and the goal isn't to do good, it's
to do bad, including hurting the same people that Michelle
wou wants to protect because they know these criminal elements

(52:18):
that they've got a captured audience three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show's your
Twitter tweet at as texta program right here on the
Chad Benson Show. No, we should want to get all
of that element out of here. The fact that you
would even argue against that or it's just mind boggling.

(52:38):
But I expect nothing less from the left who lives
in a world of Felix. Meanwhile, Scotus, what will happen.

Speaker 23 (52:47):
Is with this election of Donald Trump, this is now
a conservative Supreme Court that is going to be locked
in place for quite a long time and even longer
if Donald Trump gets yet another younger nominee, they.

Speaker 2 (53:02):
Try to get rid of side of my ar. They're
like pushing her down the stairs stuff. She's not going anywhere.

Speaker 23 (53:07):
From my sources close to justice, So to my or,
she has no intention of going anywhere. And in fact,
some of her defenders have lamented how she has been
talked about just as like a piece of meat. You know,
get on to the next person. I mean, what disrespect
these people say. So, you know, soda my or will
buy all accounts continue to lead this opposition effort on
the Supreme Court bench into a second Donald Trump term.

Speaker 2 (53:29):
And it's not a super uber conservative court the way
that they make it out to be. Go look at
real scholars say, look, it's kind of like a three
three three court. Everybody expects this to be this uber
right wing court. It's not. Is it a little bit
more of an originalist than it was, yes, But is
it this bizarre like Trump court that they think they've

(53:50):
just It's that's insane, It really is. People on the
left and in the media think that this is just
a rubber stamp for Trump. Will's immunity, which we've gone
over a thousand times. Isn't what you think it is.
But it doesn't matter because people don't listen. If you
miss any of the show, shame I grabbed the podcast.
I appreciate that it is the Chad Benson shown.

Speaker 1 (54:19):
Chad Benson Show, the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (54:43):
We're breaking news, breaking news, breaking news. This ought to
be the what the breaking news? So Morning Joe. If
you guys know anything about Morning show, they do not
like Donald Trump. There's a lot that goes into it,
and a lot of that happens to be that the
one time we're all friends and the whole Joe Scarborough

(55:07):
killed one of his aides or killed one of his
intern thing that went sideways, and the conspiracy theories and
Donald and they broke it off. They're not friends, but
they confess something today on the show, The Morning Joe Show,
which doesn't have a ton of viewers, but in the
Beltway it is the show. And imagine today as the

(55:29):
butts pucker when they all what did they just say?

Speaker 24 (55:31):
Over the past week, Joe and I have heard from
so many people, from political leaders to regular citizens, deeply
dismayed by several of President elect Trump's cabinet selections.

Speaker 2 (55:43):
And they are scared.

Speaker 24 (55:45):
Last Thursday, we expressed our own concerns on this broadcast
and even said we would appreciate the opportunity to speak
with the President elect himself. On Friday, we were given
the opportunity to do just that, and I went to
mar A Lago to meet personally with President elect Trump.
It was the first time we have seen him in

(56:09):
seven years now.

Speaker 25 (56:10):
We talked about a lot of issues, including abortion, mass deportation,
threats of political retribution against political opponents.

Speaker 2 (56:18):
And media outlets. We talked about that a good bit.

Speaker 25 (56:21):
And that's going to come as no surprise to anybody
who watches this show, has watched it over the past
year or over the past decade.

Speaker 2 (56:30):
That we didn't see eye to eye on a lot
of issues. And we told him so, and that's okay,
that's good. You should feel free to tell him so.
The fact that he was like, yeah, come on, think
about all the things that they have said about him,
the horrible things they've said about him, the bad things
they've said about him, the things they continue up until

(56:52):
last week to say about him on that show. And
yet he's like, yeah, come on down, come hang out.
That's what he loves. That he loves when he thinks
he can bring people back into the fold that once
doubted him and disliked him. Now there's more to it
than just coming back to the fold, and we'll get
to that in a second. But continue, guys.

Speaker 26 (57:11):
What we did agree on was to restart communications.

Speaker 24 (57:15):
My father often spoke with world leaders with whom he
in the United States profoundly disagreed. That's a task shared
by reporters and commentators alike. We had not spoken to
President Trump since March of twenty twenty, other than a
personal call Joe made to Trump on the morning after

(57:35):
the attempt on his life in Butler, Pennsylvania. In this meeting,
President Trump was tearful, he was upbeat. He seemed interested
in finding common ground with Democrats on some of the
most divisive issues.

Speaker 2 (57:50):
No way, of course, Trump is a lot of things,
but he wants people to like him. He craves a
lot of that stuff. Continue, Mika and Joe, and they're
not going to agree on everything. And part of the
resistance is what they're going to be a part of

(58:12):
because they understand that's where their ratings and at the
same time they're also listening to it. Well, hold on
a second, if more than half the country is liking
what he's talking about, then maybe we should have a
conversation at least to get a sense of what's happening.

Speaker 24 (58:29):
And for those asking why we would go speak to
the president elect during such fraught times, especially between US,
I guess I would ask back, why wouldn't we? Five
years of political warfare has deeply divided Washington and the country.
We have been as clear as we know how in

(58:49):
expressing our deep concerns about President Trump's actions and words
in the coursening.

Speaker 2 (58:54):
Of public debate.

Speaker 24 (58:55):
But for eighty million Americans, denihalism, public trials, and January
sixth were not as important as the issues that moved
them to send Donald Trump back to the White House
with their vote. Joe and I realize it's time to
do something different, and that starts with not only talking

(59:18):
about Donald Trump, but also talking with him.

Speaker 2 (59:22):
Bam, you want to find out what makes the other
side tick, talk to the other side. It's not that hard.
When Trump was elected the first time, we talked about
how the New York Times and the Washington Post none
of them could even fathom if there were people out

(59:44):
there that voted why because they never left their echo chamber,
They never left the area where everybody believed the exact
same thing. Trump is a lot of things. He's a braggart,
he's a blowhard. He says things that are ridiculous at times,
picks fights when he doesn't have to, and at times
he's a showman more than he is a politician. But

(01:00:09):
he gets people and he's willing to go where they are.
Most on the left, aren't last how we heard from?
You know, we're playing a bunch of Bill Maher just
roasting the left, and they're insanity. Played a guy this
hour that's just screaming and yelling, if you will, as
much as he could, because he was very much like this,

(01:00:29):
But just the are you happy? Are you happy? You
never ask what was wrong? You never said okay, tell
us what's wrong, or why do you like this guy?
Or what about him? Appeals? You never did any of that,
and instead you just just just absolutely deemed everybody who

(01:00:53):
was a supporter a Nazi, a racist, homophobe, tramaphobe, whatever
fobe you want to paue phobe want to throw out there.
You never ever said what makes them tick? Let me
tell everybody, challenge your beliefs every day and talk to
people that you disagree with Why do you feel that way?

(01:01:19):
Why do you see things that way? They have no
choice they see And this isn't just about, you know,
can we come together? This is also a oh my god,
we're gonna lose everything. There's a massive shift in society
when it comes to the media, and we better figure
out how to bring some people over to us, if

(01:01:43):
you will, and get some of this stuff back, some
of this viewership, some of this this bleeding of people
who are going elsewhere to find their information. But one
thing about Trump that is interesting, and we've talked about
it before. Trump has this need and this want to

(01:02:08):
not only be liked by the people that support him.
He's got this need and want to be respected by
people who write for the Washington Post and the New

(01:02:29):
York Times. He's got this need and want to be
respected in a way that you would think, dude, they're
never going to respect you. They're never going to do it.
But who cares. You're the president of the United States.
Who cares? You've not only won the president of the

(01:02:50):
United States, you lost it. Then when it seems that
you were out and done, you climbed back up through
all the chaos. You fought through all the lawsuits and
through all of the court cases, and you ended up
wear back on top again. But they're never going to
respect you the way that you want to be respected.

(01:03:13):
So who cares? Fham. But it's hard for him. He
didn't see it that way. There's this want that it's
like old money new money, that he's not part of
that crowd, and he wants to be part of that crowd.
But you're not, man, Just soak it up. You're UFC, right,

(01:03:34):
that's what you are. They're croquet, you're UFC, and they're
horse jumping. You're going to the horse races and they're
part of the equestrians and yachting. You're just it's but
you want to be that so bad? But the fact

(01:03:59):
that they went there, I think is interesting. Now. Does
it mean they're going to change the way they they
think about him?

Speaker 18 (01:04:05):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:04:07):
Does it mean that they're going to go easy on
them no? Does it mean they'll give more of a
chance yes. Does it mean that maybe, just maybe they'll
be more of a dialogue. Yeah. Trump likes it when
you doubt him, say horrible things about him and then
come back to the fold. He loves that he does

(01:04:29):
so I find this interesting, very interesting, But I also
look at it and think they recognize the fact that
they're bleeding viewership and hating on Trump isn't at least
at this moment in time, going to be the winner.
They were hoping it was going to be three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson's show.

(01:04:50):

Speaker 15 (01:06:19):
I can't wait to see what you do with this
country in terms of health and with regard to measles outbreak.

Speaker 18 (01:06:24):
I'm so honored to be the head of the Health
and Human Services Department. Americans need someone to teach them
how to be healthy. Someone like me, a seventy year
old man with movie star looks and a worm in
his brain. I care deeply about a woman's right to
choose to choose to get her child polio. All right,

(01:06:45):
I gotta go. I got a dead dolphin in my car.
I think if I saw it in half and dumping
in Central Park.

Speaker 2 (01:06:53):
By the way, my my, Bobby's better. It's not that
not that hard to do, Bobby Kennedy. I think the
best thing about it is when you've got to have
the voice like this and there's no doubt that we
can change things here. It's not hard. We need to
get ahead of everything. And Bolio. I'm excited for it.

(01:07:14):
Ironed lungs for everybody. Oh, Chad, Speaking of Bobby.

Speaker 27 (01:07:19):
Kennedy, we should address crinic diseases. Autism is one of those,
and spend money trying to understand what are the causes
of autism and how can you address that? But keep
lifting up the idea that has something to do with
vaccination is really a cruel thing to do.

Speaker 2 (01:07:34):
It's a cruel thing to do. Is that all that
he thinks about. It's just vaccinations. It's all about vaccines.
That's the thing is. I think everybody thinks that. Well,
Minete Kennedy comes in, that's right, Chad, We're going to
get rid of every single thing when it comes to vaccine.
That's exactly what I'm going to do. No vaccines for anybody,
which is not true. None of that's true. By the way,

(01:07:56):
how many times have we said this, he's vaccinated, his
family's vaccinated. The question about how vaccines are implemented, how
many of them you get, things like that, and the
scrutiny and the rigors of the testing that they go
through comparatively to other drugs is a big issue.

Speaker 27 (01:08:20):
There's nothing that I've done for my patients that I
know has more positive impact than getting them vaccinated fully
and on time. And to have someone leading AHHS who
is one of the biggest deniers of vaccines in our
country would undermine the confidence in that program, and likeli,
would cost lives.

Speaker 2 (01:08:44):
Oh my goodness. And I'm a big proponent of vaccines.
I mean, they work, let's not pretend that they don't.
But we can ask questions of why so many vaccines?
Is that wrong? I think it's I think it's fair
that we do that. That's doctor Bessa there, who is
pretty sure that within a really within a few months

(01:09:06):
of Kennedy, if he's confirmed taking over everything will eventually
have everybody not vaccinated and measles, mumps, rebella, scarlet fever,
the plague, whatever else you could think of. We'll take
over our country.

Speaker 27 (01:09:23):
We have a social contract in our country. There are
things we do for our own health, but there are
things we do that are good for ourselves, our families,
and our communities, and vaccination falls into that category. And
having someone who denies that in that role is extremely dangerous.

Speaker 2 (01:09:39):
Extremely dangerous, very dangerous. What about that food thing that's important? Right,
like the food? At least give him that that our
kids are unfit and we feed him crap. We jump
from there to Matt Gates because is there another woman
coming forward?

Speaker 10 (01:09:56):
Now?

Speaker 2 (01:09:57):
It's going to be women everywhere. I don't see Matt
Gates getting through unless it's a recess appointment. I really don't.
And that's going to be a battle, because fun is not.
I think there's a lot of Republicans who have hesitation
over Matt Gates and how much of this was real
and how much of this was a ploy to get

(01:10:18):
that ethics report that was going to come out pushed away,
to give him an opportunity to still be in and
around the administration. This will be interesting to see how
this plays out. But yes, I mean, there's no doubt
that the Senators want to see that report, even though

(01:10:44):
in theory they're not supposed to see it. You know,
it will get leaked and somebody will see it because
there are still people inside of the Biden administration that
is part of the resistance. And I'd like to see
it too. I like to know what's in it, wouldn't
you wouldn't you want to know what's real and what's not.
Here's the thing, though, that being said, they had the

(01:11:05):
opportunity that Tomorrow and Justice go after him, and they
chose not to. After a very long investigation.

Speaker 9 (01:11:10):
ABC News previously reported a woman told the committee Gates
had sex with her in twenty seventeen, when she was
seventeen years old. Now, another woman's lawyer tells ABC News,
my client testified to the House Ethics Committee that she
witnessed Matt Gates having sex with a minor. Gates has
denied the allegations.

Speaker 2 (01:11:32):
I want to know, you guys know my feeling about
Matt Gates. That being said, he deserves his day and
his hearing, and as we all know, they will take
something twist it and run with it. I may not
be a fan of his, but I think he deserves
to have a hearing at least the opportunity to get through.

(01:11:56):
Of all the people I don't want a recess appointment for,
this is one of them, because I think we should
hear it and you could set the record straight. We'll
see if that happens. Three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Show. That is
your Twitter and your Insta Graham, as the kids would
like to say, check out the YouTube as well Facebook

(01:12:16):
as well. Right here on the Chad Benson Show. Coming up,
third hour, little What's trending? What's trending? Going to find
out what's trending out there? A lot of it has
to do with the NFL. God crazy day of the
NFL this weekend. Great day at college football. Pickleball I
played yesterday. Do you see that pickleball kick? It's all over?
I put it up on my Twitter. So it was

(01:12:39):
a heated game of pickleball between you know, some twenty
something thirty somethings. The guy got his paddle knocked down
and he went to pick up the paddle and the
dude just hauled off and kicked him UFC style in
a face, and then from there all hell broke loose.
So the say that pickleball is not a contact sport
would be a lie. Third Hour are coming up. It's

(01:13:00):
the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (01:13:03):
This is the Chad Benson Show, the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 15 (01:13:33):
Man.

Speaker 2 (01:13:34):
This election season is over right, so now it's just like,
all right, let's see who's gonna end up doing what,
and let's let the fighting begin. But the insanity of
the fact that morning Joe went on Friday and spent
the day with the former president soon to be the
next president. Oh my god, and then having coming home

(01:13:55):
tell their friends, yeah, we were we went. So I
don't know what do you think of that, David Ignatius.

Speaker 28 (01:14:04):
We're in the news business, which means that we talk
to people. That's how we part of how we do
our jobs. We'll also in the truth business, which means
we have to hold people accountable and we see the
things that we think are wrong or going to hurt
the country. We have to be very forthright in saying that.
Last week, when President like Trump named his nominees for

(01:14:25):
key positions, I wrote a column saying that some of
them seemed qualified and reasonable choices, others seemed to be
coming at their jobs with a wrecking ball. They were
going after the military and intelligence agencies, it seemed from
their past statements, in a way that would only harm
those institutions. I've been a journalist now for so many years,

(01:14:45):
but i can remember when I cover the Middle East,
i would talk to Yasir arf Out, the head of
the PLO, and be root, and a few weeks later
I'd be talking to Israeli Prime Minister Monach and began
in Jerusalem. That's just part of what doing the job means.
As Mika said, her own dad, although he wasn't a journalist,

(01:15:05):
was always talking to people. So I think we need
to keep that in mind. Those two things. We're in
the news business and we're in the truth business.

Speaker 2 (01:15:12):
Yes, you are the news business and the truth business.
And they're going to have to come at it in
a different way because not only do they see the
fact that half of America is like, hey, we want
this guy and his ideas, the other half of America
is skeptical of what the Democrats are doing and the
way that they've done things. And now they're asking questions about,

(01:15:36):
First of all, how'd you guys blow a billion dollars
and you get anything out of it. Secondly, and this
is very important, maybe you guys didn't get it right
because you didn't focus on the things that mattered, and
because of that, you didn't win. And now we're stuck
with this side of the aisle running everything. So maybe
you guys need to take an inventory on what is

(01:15:59):
going on out there and talk to other people and
stop preaching at them. Oh golly, I.

Speaker 26 (01:16:05):
Do feel like this is a moment for people to
get real and for people to stop saying, oh, this
is going to end up being much more moderate than
anybody expected. What are you going to start apologizing for
saying that democracy was threatened? I mean, I think it's
time to get real and realize that this is really
what we're upagancet. But I also think the fact that
we all feel a little bit flummoxed is the right word,

(01:16:25):
sort of rocked by the increasing incredulity of these choices.

Speaker 2 (01:16:31):
Is that it is meant to shock us. Rachel Maldou
still not getting it, still not getting any of it.
It's funny they go and talk to him and she
comes out and she does what she does. She hammers
me over and over again. And these pics, Yeah, these
picks are meant to shock. Some of that's true, there's

(01:16:52):
no doubt about that. There I have serious issues, I
said from jump Matt Gates, No, thank you. I want
no part of what he has to pete Headskith. Apparently
there was some issues out there that even the Trump
administration said they were surprised and is there more out there? Okay,

(01:17:13):
but you don't understand you not listening to the people. Yes,
some of its shock and awe. They're like, you guys
want us to apologize for saying democracies at threat? You should?
You terrified people, And you've got people terrified of everything

(01:17:36):
now on the left side of the aisle, that the
world is coming to an end, that they're going to
be locked up. You let down your viewers, your customers,
and you're seeing a bleeding of your ratings and you're
still at it.

Speaker 26 (01:17:51):
It's meant to adjust our sense of what is normal,
what is possible, and to sort of disorient us as
to what it counts to propose governance in the United States,
that we're ready for the most radical pronouncements and actions.
I do think we're supposed to feel the way that
we do right now. I think that's part of this.

(01:18:12):
It's a shock and awe campaign against American traditions and mores,
and that's I think how most of the country feels
about it.

Speaker 2 (01:18:20):
Yeah. Well, I think most of the country has no
idea what's going on, because they're still trying to figure
out why life is so damn expensive, and they're frustrated,
and they want to see things come back, and they
want to see things get back in a normal fashion.
They want to see things start to go back to
where they feel comfortable going and buying things and not

(01:18:43):
worrying about how damn expensive it is. When you finally
get the last item told up and think it's sweet God,
we going to put some of that stuff back. Oh
my god, the hell is going on at the border.
They're worried about a lot of things. I'm not a
fan of some of these picks. I said that whether
or not they get through, well, time will tell. But

(01:19:06):
you're back out there going well, it's going to be
the worst thing ever. It's gonna be the worst. Can't
get any worse than this. Gonna be the worst, absolutely,
one hundred percent the worst this is. It can't get
any worse. Oh my lord. That being said, on the
other side of the globe, there's a battle going on,

(01:19:26):
a war, if you will, between Ukraine and Russia. And
as you sit there and defend the greatness of democracy
under democratic rule, let's not forget the fact that there
are two major conflicts going on, one of which we
are spending billions of dollars at. Luckily we've had nobody

(01:19:48):
injured or killed or put into the firing line. And
then on the other side of it, we've got the
Middle East going just haywire for the last year plus,
and we've had our military shot at on numerous occasions.
And you're worried about, Oh, what's this pete headset guy

(01:20:10):
going to do? What's this so and so? Yeah, no, No,
Biden has announced that he's doing something for the Ukrainians,
something long overdue, because remember, it's not about them winning
and escalating, it's about them holding on and eventually a
brokeren peace deal. Well that's going to come. But we

(01:20:33):
got all this stuff. We still better spend this money.
So let's get it to him.

Speaker 8 (01:20:37):
For the first time. President Joe Biden althort in Ukraine
to use long range US missiles to try at Russia
as studying change in policy from just two months before
a major factor in the decision. US officials say ten
thousand North Korean troops arriving in Russia to fight alongside
the Russians, many expected to be part of a planned

(01:20:58):
defensive to take back the cursed region.

Speaker 2 (01:21:03):
Get in, grab what you can. Understand that the end
is nigh for both sides in this war. Biden hopes
and dreams of getting a deal done. Probably isn't going
to happen. He knows they're not going to escalate because
he understands who's coming in behind him, which is Trump,

(01:21:25):
and Trump is going to get something done. They're hopeful,
by the way we talked about that the other day,
how hopeful even people inside Ukraine are about getting a
deal done now that Trump's there.

Speaker 8 (01:21:36):
Ukrainian President Zelenski says he believes the end of the
war will be closer after Trump's inauguration, saying the war
will end, but there's no exact date. Certainly with the
policy of this team that's about to lead the White House,
the war will end faster, but Zelensky also warning that
Ukraine must be kept in a strong position and that
the US can't expect them to just sit and listen.

Speaker 2 (01:21:59):
No, don't sit and listen. You go and you're gonna
have to battle it out. You're gonna have to go
and fight and take as much as possible, hold on
to as much as possible. Then well then the negotiation begins.
Now what does that look like. I don't know. I
think we've been saying, you know, for the last umpteen

(01:22:23):
months year plus, that when all is said and done
and the dust settles, it will be a situation where
Crimea and probably some of that down Bass region will
go to Russia and they'll hold on to a decent
portion of land, eighty to eighty five percent of the land.

(01:22:43):
Now you're giving up fifteen, maybe twenty percent of which
though you didn't really have any control over a portion
of that, So it sucks, but you'll get an assurance
that should they do something else, they will pay a
price for it and they'll have to answer to us,

(01:23:04):
and we'll make a deal with Putin, which is they're
never joining NATO, at least not anytime in the near future.
With you around and probably ever, and we won't put
any missiles there that will threaten you. But if you
decide to step again, you might as well be attacking Wyoming, Missouri, California,

(01:23:32):
New York because we're going to treat it like a state,
so that way they have protection. And he feels he
got something out of it, which is what everybody wants.
Zelenski gets to be a hero because he was stood
all of the hell that came with Russia. Yes, there

(01:23:53):
were times there were controversies, but the reality is is
you don't get to be the hero without stepping on
some toes and having some controversy. And on the other
side of it, Putin gets to go home, says, look,
we've got some of this. We protected our people. It's
a win win all around. Blah blah blah blah blah.
They gave in to us, the West is weak. Everybody smiles.

(01:24:15):
We move on with their lives and focus on what's
going to go on in the Middle East. So I
think that's what you're gonna get when this is done.
And it's sad that it had to come to this,
but the reality is it was an ugly situation and
the more that you pay attention to this and realize
it probably wouldn't have happened under Trump, but it didn't

(01:24:37):
mean it wouldn't have happened because it wasn't gonna be
there forever. It's because Trump is a puppet of Putin.
It's because you're an idiot. That's why when people say that,
just I sit there and shake my head. I even
saw at him shift this weekend, spinning the yarns about Russia.
It's like, that's never gonna go anywhere. Not a lot

(01:25:00):
ball hitter, that's for damn sure. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Show,
is your Twitter? That guy could use some therapy. Speaking
of therapy, this portion program is brought to you by
Better Help. It is that time of the year we
think about gratitude. What are we grateful for? It's a
good question, right, I mean, this month is all about gratitude.

(01:25:23):
I'm grateful to you guys out there who listen to me.
I'm grateful for the people that helped me when I
was younger and went through all the stuff that I
went through, and and you know, after my father passed away,
and including therapist. I'm thankful for you know, my wife
and my family, what are you grateful for? Tell you what,
sometimes we look at life in a much different way
and maybe we need fresh perspective. And that's what therapy

(01:25:47):

P dot com slash Benson. What's trending? Chad Benson Show,

(01:26:29):
Chad Benson, No, It's time to find out what's trending?
What's trending.

Speaker 21 (01:26:43):
Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Serene.

Speaker 2 (01:26:55):
What let's find out? Turning on the old interwebs on
this Monday, starting Google, Google, Land, Bengals, Chadges, What a Game?
Seahawks forty nine Ers, Bills, Chiefs, Chargers, Josh Allen. Million

(01:27:16):
people have searched Josh Allen in the last twenty four hours,
you're on Supreme Leader ha Manie. Apparently he's not doing
well and it has nothing to do with the Jews,
says everybody but him, Colts, Jets, Rams, Patriots, Mavericks, Thunder

(01:27:39):
Carrot recall, what so did you get on Monday's Little
Monday Morning Quarterbacking over to Yahoo. Donald Trump number one
trending thing yesterday, obviously fresh off not only his wind
but going to the UFC the night and the dance.

(01:28:02):
The dance is everywhere if you've not seen it, every
football flare scored a touchdown everywhere doing the dance. Aaron
Rodgers rush of the Ukraine War, Cincinnati Bengals, Matt Gates,
Buffalo Bills, Tyson Paul still trending as it should be.

(01:28:22):
Miss Denmark with the win. That's right, if you guys
haven't heard, they've decided to go back to the old
style rules in miss universe, which is somebody without balls
and somebody pretty sure number training thing yesterday or at
least right now on Twitter. The Bengals, Herbert Monday Motivation,

(01:28:46):
World War three sixty minutes Sunday Night Football, Harbaugh, Miss
dan Amonica, Christmas Day, World War three again with the
number three three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
twenty three at Chad Benson Show. It is your Twitter
tweet at US text the program. Love hearing from all
of you right here in the Chad Benson Show. Russia Ovechkin,

(01:29:13):
also Russian. He's twenty nine goals away from catching Gretzky,
one of the reasons he is trending right there on
the old interwebs. Who got three more? Last night? Somebody
just DMed really quick and said, did you say that
Miss Universe is back to old school stuff? Yes? Miss
Universe is back to old school stuff, which is hot,

(01:29:36):
sexy and not a dude. Oh that's good. That's good,
I know, right, Like, that's where we were going with
where they decided, Hey, who should we do this time
for Miss Universe? They thought, well, this person over here
is got checks all the boxes in today's world of

(01:29:57):
things that you must do, and boom and that's what
you get right there. Oh but Miss Universe yet, Den America,
she's hot too, which is the goal?

Speaker 11 (01:30:07):
Right?

Speaker 5 (01:30:08):
Like?

Speaker 2 (01:30:08):
I thought that was always the goal in that situation,
But apparently maybe I was wrong. In the past but
then they were like, no, you were right, Chat, this
is exactly the goal. A lot of stuff too when
it comes to Trump's picks, which are freaking people out
mass resignations, Really, is that what we're going to happen

(01:30:28):
if Matt Gates gets in.

Speaker 20 (01:30:29):
I think it'd be unfortunate if lots of people left
the Justice Department and left it to political folks to
fill the ranks with people who were aligned politically with them,
when most of the work of the Justice Department is
not political, it's not ideological. Staffing decisions are not made
on a political basis. The American people deserve fair and
impartial justice.

Speaker 2 (01:30:49):
Again, I don't know if Matt Gates gets in or not,
so we'll see Cuban City show, shame on you. It's
a Chat Benson job.

Speaker 1 (01:30:59):
Chat Benson Shoe, the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:31:23):
I watched it and I would say I want my
money back, But the reality is it didn't cost me
anything because it was on Netflix and because mostly I
didn't see a lot of it. We'll get to the
technical issues, but my goodness to me, a lot of
people at the house that Jera built and a lot
of disappointment because of the fight.

Speaker 3 (01:31:41):
The fight going all the rounds, Paul winning by unanimous decision.

Speaker 2 (01:31:45):
He's the goat.

Speaker 4 (01:31:46):
I look up to him, I'm inspired by him, and
we wouldn't be here today without him.

Speaker 3 (01:31:50):
It was Iron Mike's first sanctioned fight since two thousand
and five, when Paul the YouTube personality turned boxer was
just eight years old.

Speaker 2 (01:31:58):
What is your assessment of Jake Paul the boxer the
very good fight.

Speaker 3 (01:32:02):
Paul is twenty seven, Tyson is fifty eight. Their thirty
one year age difference said to be the biggest age
gap in professional boxing history.

Speaker 11 (01:32:11):
It was.

Speaker 2 (01:32:13):
A bummer. Actually, it felt like an exhibition. They were
both suspended afterwards by I don't know, it's the Texas
Boxing Association, it was. There was times when both of
them had the opportunity, I think, to light the other
one up, and they didn't take it. He definitely was
showing his age, and I think part of that had
to do with the fact that he definitely had a

(01:32:34):
bad knee and you could see that because he had
a rap on it and he just looked like he
was like he just had hip replacement surgery. I mean,
that's the truth.

Speaker 3 (01:32:45):
Mike Tyson showing his age, not moving as fluid as
he did decades ago, landing only nineteen percent of his punches.

Speaker 2 (01:32:53):
Well at their times.

Speaker 3 (01:32:55):
Originally scheduled as an exhibition, it became a sanctioned pro
fight with Mondifa cases, shorter rounds and heavier gloves, lessening
the power of the punches. Dramatics before the bout from
Tyson's slapped during way in to Paul's ear covering mocking
Tyson's infamous earbiting of Evander Holyfield.

Speaker 2 (01:33:14):
Dah, look at that, he's funny. We talked about the
other day. What was in it for Tyson? The reality
is is if he wins, he beats a nobody right
essentially in the boxing world, even though he's famous for
all the other stuff. But he beats kind of a nobody.
And if he gets knocked out, well, you were thirty
one years older than him, So what's in it for

(01:33:36):
Paul as well? Tyson? After the fight, you're old, you know,
fifty eight.

Speaker 5 (01:33:41):
A lot of people thought you shouldn't be here. A
lot of people thought you'd be done and dusted in
the first round. Do you feel like you proved the
world wrong that you could at least go eight rounds
with a younger man.

Speaker 7 (01:33:51):
I didn't prove nothing to anybody. Don'tly do my felf.
I'm not one of those guys that look to leave
the world.

Speaker 2 (01:33:57):
I'm just happy with what I can do. Nobody says, well, Chad,
you're I'm fifty three. That's right. I play indoor soccer
and I and I'm like, look, I don't want to
run around and play against twenty year olds. I just don't.
I have no desire to do that. I've been there,
I've done that. I've been twenty playing fifty year old.
I don't want to do that. I mean, for a

(01:34:18):
fifty eight year old. It gave a great accounting of himself.
But you're fifty eight and you're injured. That was evident.
They both got paid though. The two fights preceding those fights, though,
were arguably the best fights this year, including the woman
fight was just what was her name? Serrano? Everybody thinks

(01:34:43):
she got robbed. It was incredible, it was and I
got to see those fights kind of firsthand on the
Netflix stream because once the fight started, and what.

Speaker 6 (01:34:54):
The hell Netflix is just getting started with live sporting events.
They have two NFL games on Christmas. There were offering
issues streaming issues throughout the day with everybody watching, So
it looks like some issues have to be worked on
in the next month.

Speaker 2 (01:35:06):
You think, yeah, yeah, yes, they freaking do. It was awful.
If you didn't see it, it was just like the
pinwheel of debt. It would start, then it would freeze,
and it would start and it would freeze. And it
started going that way towards the end of the of
the of the the women's fight, and then I kept
having to go to Twitter to find out who won

(01:35:27):
because it froze in up until the like the twelfth
round it was it was okay, and then it just
went sideways. And you've got two games next month for
the NFL. Now, I don't expect sixty million people to
watch those games. But if people have to go to
Twitter and to TikTok and to elsewhere to stream your content,

(01:35:48):
that you should be screaming streaming because they've paid for
it but they can't get it. That's not a good look. Okay, Okay, morning, Joe.
What are they doing doing over there? What do you guys?
Did you guys go somewhere this weekend?

Speaker 24 (01:36:04):
Over the past week, Joe and I have heard from
so many people from political leaders to regular citizens deeply
dismayed by several of President Elect Trump's cabinet selections.

Speaker 2 (01:36:16):
And they are scared.

Speaker 24 (01:36:18):
Last Thursday, we expressed our own concerns on this broadcast
and even said we would appreciate the opportunity to speak
with the President elect himself. On Friday, we were given
the opportunity to do just that. Joe and I went
to mar A Lago to meet personally with President elect Trump.
It was the first time we have seen him in

(01:36:42):
seven years now.

Speaker 25 (01:36:43):
We talked about a lot of issues, including abortion, mass deportation,
threats of political retribution against political opponents and media outlets.
We talked about that a good bit and that's going
to come as no surprise to anybody who watches this show,
has watched it over the past year or over the
past decade.

Speaker 2 (01:37:03):
That we didn't see eye to eye on a lot
of issues. And we told him, so, well, there you go, then,
but you got to go think about that. Think about
Biden inviting somebody from Fox over to have a conversation
about stuff they disagreed with. Think about that. These two

(01:37:23):
used to be close with Trump, and even when his
campaign started, the first time they were very close, and
then there was some sort of bizarre situation that I
think Trump got behind in the conspiracy world that Joe
Scarborough killed one of his aides or murdereds. It was
just it was so weird, and then things really went

(01:37:48):
sideways with them. But Trump loves the fact that people
will come back and talk to him. They're taking a
different approach what they have to for a lot of
different reasons, one of which the media is moving to
other places, so it's fragmenting even more, and those audiences

(01:38:08):
are going to other places to get their news. Now.
Morning Joe is very important inside of the Beltway, and
it's always been so, even though the audience itself nationwide
isn't big. The intelligentsia and the people inside the Beltway,
inside of government, they go to Morning Joe for all
their stuff.

Speaker 26 (01:38:26):
What we did agree on was to restart communications.

Speaker 24 (01:38:31):
My father often spoke with world leaders with whom he
and the United States profoundly disagreed. That's a task shared
by reporters and commentators alike. We had not spoken to
President Trump since March of twenty twenty, other than a
personal call Joe made to Trump on the morning after

(01:38:51):
the attempt on his life in Butler, Pennsylvania. In this meeting,
President Trump was tearful, he was upbeat. He seemed interested
in common ground with Democrats on some of the most
divisive issues.

Speaker 2 (01:39:03):
Because Trump wants ultimately, at the end of the day,
Trump wants people to like him, and that includes a
very interesting crowd of people that he has, for whatever reason,
deemed very important to him, which is this Washington Post,
New York Times, This group of people he feels will

(01:39:26):
give him a certain sense of credibility that he still
wants their approval. Dude, you're president of the United States.
Not once, but twice. You fell from the highest perch
in the land, and everybody left you for dead, and
you picked yourself up. And it's the great nat King

(01:39:47):
Cole would say, you dust yourself off and you start
all over again. And you did. And while you were
doing that, the raid on Mari Lanco. While you were
doing that, the Document's case became the January sixth Slash
whatever case, which became the Rico racketeering whatever case in Atlanta,
which became the crazy, bizarre Alvin Bragg lunacy, not to

(01:40:13):
mention the civil suits and well, all of that was happening.
You never stopped, you picked up steam, you never stop,
you never stopped believing, you rose again. So to have
these people that you think you need their approval, you don't.
You've proved them all wrong. They're never going to give

(01:40:34):
you that approval. It's old money, new money. No matter
what you do, you will never be good enough for
her right. Think of them as the father that thinks
that their child, their daughter, should have this person. And
guess what, America is that that girl. And she loves you,

(01:40:55):
she wants you, She chose you, And no matter what
Daddy says, it didn't happen, it isn't going to be
his choice. It was your choice in America. Chose and
you're never going to get his approval ever, ever, ever, ever,
So who cares? Fortunately you do.

Speaker 24 (01:41:17):
And for those asking why we would go speak to
the president elect during such fraught times, especially between US,
I guess I would ask back, why wouldn't we? Five
years of political warfare has deeply divided Washington and the country.
We have been as clear as we know how in

(01:41:37):
expressing our deep concerns about President Trump's actions and words
in the coursening of public debate, but for eighty million Americans,
election denialism public trials in January sixth were not as
important as the issues that moved them to send Donald
Trump back to the White House with their vote. And

(01:42:00):
I realize it's time to do something different, and that
starts with not only talking about Donald Trump, but also
talking with him.

Speaker 2 (01:42:09):

Speaker 1 (01:43:23):
Chair irreverence, Like, yeah, so what it's the Chat Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:43:45):
Meanwhile, people struggling with Trump winning the election and putting
in his eful team that is going to do even
liss stuff, Well you can do something about it. You
could get on a cruise.

Speaker 29 (01:43:57):
And cruise I mean look before an escape, escape either
for two years, three years, four years, or one year.

Speaker 2 (01:44:06):
There is no better place than on a ship, right,
that's right. Less, of course, you are part of that
one than one of three hour crews and seem to
be stuck out there for quite a long time, even
though the globe trotter showed up at one time and
you never got off the island, and none of the
globe trotter's ever decided to say, Hey, there's a bunch
of people living on an island. You guys should probably
go out and check it out. Oh, Chad, you're talking

(01:44:27):
about Gilligan. I am continue, sir.

Speaker 29 (01:44:29):
Just the timing is with the election, and it just
happened that Trump won, and there's more Democrats that are
unhappy about living in the US now than Republicans.

Speaker 2 (01:44:39):
So you can go on this cruise, and again it's expensive.
It's not cheap, not cheap at all. Cost up to
a quarter of a million dollars. You spend anywhere between
two three four years on the cruise, avoiding all of
the evil that is, Like I said, I would just
go put on my Maga hat walk around. I don't
even have a mega hat. I get one just to

(01:45:00):
go there and walk around to piss people.

Speaker 29 (01:45:02):
Off, regardless of who. At long we have this in
the works, so it's not a really a political campaign
at all.

Speaker 2 (01:45:13):
Sure, sure, that's what you're saying. Are you getting any leads?

Speaker 29 (01:45:16):
So I wouldn't know on which side of the side
of the aisle they are, But we've had significant interests.
We were averaging about one hundred hot leads a day,
which it's about eight times more than usual Hot.

Speaker 2 (01:45:29):
Leads, Baby hot leads. So there you go. If you'd
like to go on a cruise, you can. You can escape,
you can run away, and then when all is safe
and JD Vance's president, you could stay away. I'm kidding,
of course, kids, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Turkey Day next week.

(01:45:49):
Are you looking for a value, because we have values
here that we're going to play for you, values across
the board where you can get them. Are you ready?

Speaker 30 (01:45:59):
Target it's offering a twenty dollars meal that is going
to feed four people. That's five dollars per person. You
get a turkey up to ten pounds, plus six other
items including gravy, potatoes, and string beans. Amazon Fresh has
got a basket of Thanksgiving groceries for six people at
under thirty bucks. When you buy its private label brand,
Prime members get an extra ten percent off.

Speaker 2 (01:46:20):
That's pretty good, right, that's a discount right there. You
got to do the math if you're looking to save
what goes the furthest for your dollar when it comes
to these, so you got to break it down by pound,
which you get all of that stuff.

Speaker 30 (01:46:34):
Check the unit price, so that means check the price
per pound. We did a little comparison shopping here. Amazon
Fresh has one of the lowest prices at forty nine
cents a pound, compared with seventy nine cents a Target
and eighty eight cents at Walmart. Other ways to save
consider buying turkey parts like the breast or legs, or
you can buy a store brand turkey, or go frozen
instead of fresh.

Speaker 2 (01:46:54):
Just remember to defrost it, yeah, I remember that. Or
just go out and capture a turkey and kill it
right there, bring its neck and kill it. So you
couldn't do that. Some of you could, but most of
you couldn't. Most of you would starve if the world
really became a zombie wasteland that Trump is going to
usher in because you're not willing to kill for food.
I'm kidding, that's not going to happen. Are there more

(01:47:17):
places that we can save dollars? When it comes to
our gobbler.

Speaker 30 (01:47:21):
Supermarket chain, Leedle has a Thanksgiving meal kit that feeds
ten for under forty five dollars and at four dollars
fifty cents per person, it is the cheapest that we
found out there Besides the turkey, you get ingredients for
the classics of course, like stuffing and sweet potato cass role.
And if you don't want to cook, you want to
check out Sam's Club because it's pre cooked. Thanksgiving meal
for ten is one hundred dollars delivered right to your door.

(01:47:44):
You get a hickory smoke turkey and six sides, including
my personal favorite mac and cheese.

Speaker 2 (01:47:49):
All right, there you go. I don't know what Leedle is.
I don't have that here where I live. I've never
heard of leedle. If you live somewhere, there's a lethal
text appro we'd like to hear where the hell is illegal?
I could probably look it up, but I would like
to hear from you. So my goal is to hear
from you. Now we are going to do Somebody hit

(01:48:10):
me up and says, hey, are we going to do
that countdown? Because we talked about a countdown last week
of the greatest yacht rock songs of all time? We
are going to do a countdown. We're going to do
top ten greatest songs of all time. So we're off
next week, but we're gonna do it on Friday. Throughout
the show, we're going to countdown the top ten greatest
yacht rock songs of all time, includes the artist a

(01:48:31):
breakdown of it throughout the show. So be prepared for that. Okay, three, two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show. Sure, Twitter,
your Instagram, all of the other things. Check out the Facebook,
check out the YouTube, check out the We're gonna have
everything set up the Twitter, all of that stuff. Starting

(01:48:51):
tomorrow is gonna be broadcasting where you can see us
in full technic color, So be prepared for that. It
wouldn't be the ending part of the show if we
didn't leave you with the great words of Gary Busey
right here on the Chad Benson Show. No, it's time
for the Gary Bucy moment of the day.

Speaker 31 (01:49:14):
I have a thought to tell you about days. Days.
There's Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saardy, Sunday. Well they
call Saday Sunday the time makers the weekend because it's
the end of a week. But the weekend has got
to be fun and free. And what's really great about
making the weekend fun and free, you have the ability

(01:49:34):
to make every day of the week fun and free.

Speaker 2 (01:49:38):
He's fun you guys have a blessed rest of your Monday.
We'll do it again tomorrow Night, night Jack.

Speaker 1 (01:49:43):
This is the Chad Benson Show.
