(00:10):
Independent thoughts, independent life. Thisis Chad Benson through the first week end
of the chaos of the Trump conviction. Poles are starting to come out.
What do they say? Are theygood? Are they bad? Is it
over for Trump? Is Biden pickingup steam? Or is Biden Biden?
By the way, he ain't pickingup steam. I'll tell you that right
(00:33):
now. But the poles are startingto come out, the nerves. What
will happen? Oh my god. Some early polling that we saw, in
particular from Achelon Insights, which isa highly rated pollster according to five thirty
eighth Polster Ratings, is that whenlooking at a sample the same sample of
Americans before and after the guilty verdictin head to head polling Biden versus Trump,
(00:56):
the polling shifted two points in Biden'sfavor so that it went from being
about an even race to Biden leadingby two points. Okay, so hmm,
a little bit even race to Bidenup by two What does that mean?
Is it is it over? Shouldhe drop out? Should he quit?
What should he do? While theinitial reaction from Republican leadership and Republican
(01:19):
voters maybe negative, oftentimes they comeback around and we could expect that in
this case, because we're five monthsout and there are going to be,
you know, bad news cycles forthe current president over the next five months
that may emphasize what Americans don't likeabout his policy on the economy or immigration
or crime or what have you,or all of the stuff. That's just
(01:44):
it. There's gonna be a kneejerk reaction. One in ten Republicans say
he should drop out. Okay, now do you feel that way always?
Because if he's not dropping out,you should. You could say this,
look, I want him drop out. I think there's better choices. I
think there's too much baggage. Ithink it would be best to drop out.
But he's not going to. Well, they didn't say they would vote
for wouldn't vote for him, Theysaid he should drop out. And so
(02:07):
you have to look at the wordingof all of these things you do.
And there's going to be an appeal. We're going to talk about that stuff,
the sentencing, the appealing, allof the boloney that goes with it.
There is going to be all ofthose things. And this was politically
motivated. People understand that. Youcould say it's not. But I'll tell
you this right now, Hunter Biden. We're going to talk about a little
(02:29):
bit. He's getting set for,you know, jury selection and stuff this
week. Hunter Biden is being prosecutedbecause he's Hunter Biden. If he was
Bob Smith and these things would havehappened and nobody cared about it, and
nobody knew who he was, andhis last name was Smith, nobody be
(02:49):
paying attention to him. But becausehe's Hunter Biden, these are the things
I am same thing with Donald Trumpor Adam shiff say, you know,
he should he should be sentenced theway that people were sentence in this kind
of crime. Really this so whatpretend sentence did they get for a pretend
crime? What about Biden's polling, because poles go both ways. I love
(03:12):
numbers. Yeah, Joe Biden ispulling lower than any president at this stage
of his presidency, than any inhistory. That is meaningful. And it's
not like Joe Biden's going to getbetter with age, like a fine wine.
He's more like cottage cheese, andas we know, that doesn't get
better with age. Civics has apoll out today. They do state polling
all right, in forty eight outof fifty states, Joe Biden is underwater.
(03:34):
Underwater, meaning his approval is belowhis disapproval. Only folks in Hawaii
and Massachusetts slightly approve of the jobhe's doing. He's well underwater in states
like California, New York, andIllinois. He's twenty two points underwater in
the state of Delaware, which isquite blueheads. You know, yeah,
absolutely, What about NBCABC, CBS, What about those kind of poles.
(03:54):
What are they saying about the Trumpconviction. Fifty percent of Americans in our
poll with it so say that theythink this is the right verdict, only
twenty seven percent saying they don't thinkit's the correct verdict, the right outcome.
And almost half of the country thinksthat Trump should actually end his campaign
based on just this. Now,what was it before? Probably fifty percent
of people didn't want Trump wanted toend his campaign. You're going to hear
(04:16):
numbers and polls and blah blah blahblah for the next unteen months. Take
away the Trump conviction and let's justsay it was two it was Canadaday and
Canada be. You're going to behearing about polls, but because it's Trump
and the cast that goes with them, and all of that stuff, Well,
you're going to hear different kinds ofpoles. All that matters is likely
(04:40):
voters in several states, states pollsin places like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia,
Nevada, Michigan, Arizona, NorthCarolina, Ish. Those are the
only things that matter. The otherpoles, nation polls, this white poles,
(05:01):
all that. None of that stuffmatters in this because about two hundred
and fifty to five hundred thousand people, maybe even less, we'll swing this
next election. How they feel isthe only thing that matters. How's Trump
doing? Someone suggested you could appealstraight to the Spreme Court because of the
(05:25):
special nature of this case when itcomes to the legal maze thing you're still
facing. And if they couldn't,the judge could decide to say, hey,
how's arrest for even jail? I'mokay with it. I saw one
of my lawyers the other day ontelevision saying, oh, no, you
don't want to do that to thepress. I said, don't you know,
beg for anything. Just the wayto think of it, They went
to for five years, they suitedme getting my tax returns. At the
(05:46):
end of five years, they gothim the Supreme Court actually gave it to
him. That was the end ofit. If that was it. They
never found anything. They never foundanything. Could you imagine though, if
he went to jail, because he'scompared to himself, to Mandela and everybody
else like it would be. Ithink there is a portion of him that
wants that situation where even if it'sfor a short time, he could say,
(06:11):
look what they're doing to me.So that happened. I don't know
that the public would stand it,you know, I don't I'm not sure
the public would stand for with anight house arrestler. I think it would
be tough for the public to take. You know, at a certain point,
there's a breaking point. Oh soyou're talking about civil war, that's
what everybody's going to go to.No, I think there are a certain
(06:32):
point, there is a breaking point. And you know, this weekend I
played in a pick a ball tournamentand I was going for the weekend,
my wife and I and the kidswho went up to Prescott and we played
in the pick a ball tournament.Shout out to my partners Ingo and Diane
a lot of fun. Got amedal. Very excited about that. Ingo
and I got a bronze in themen's A lot of people talk to me
(06:54):
about this, and you know,I'm super excited because I'm playing pick a
ball, But then people are likeasking me a question, and I'm fine
with that. I understand that comesto the business. A lot of Democrats
were happy, but also understood thatthis is not a good situation and it's
(07:15):
very uncomfortable because they understand what potentiallycould be coming from it and was this
the right course of action. Andwhile the crazy people out there want to
seem go to jail forever and always, they also understand the implications of something
like that and what he could looklike to a bunch of other people.
Where you're thinking to yourself, you'rejailing your top contender in this election just
(07:40):
a few months away before the election, taking him off the campaign trail.
That's a look that I think fora lot of people is a bridge too
far. At least right now.People don't want to be impeached. They
don't want to be indicted by thesescoundrels who are much more evil than people.
I'm telling you China and Russia. They're not think we have a problem
(08:01):
from within. That's really bad.I'm gonna say it. We do are
one hundred percent. We have peopleout there that want to reshaped this country
in a way that is absolutely awfuland as bad and chaotic as Trump himself
personally. I'm not talking about hispolicies and the media and them together,
because the mixture is is oil andwater, as bad as all that stuff
(08:22):
can be. I'm a lot withBill barr One's Russian Roulette and the other
suicide. Biden is the suicide heis, I just and there are people
out there and this goes to theends justifying the mean. They feel like
they've got every opportunity to go afterhim and get him, and that it
(08:43):
will never come back to them, and that is not a good place to
be in our country. And peoplewho are not insane and who are not
driven solely by their partisan politics, understand the slippery slope we're on. Three
two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to twenty three.
Atchad Betson shows your Twitter tweet athis text to program, hope you
(09:05):

I don't know what to do anymore. And at the risk of looking
like some like whiny, pathetic person, this is just unsustainable. I'm a
(10:39):
dance teacher. I work from Septemberuntil June, like generally, like the
school year, and even with acareer, I don't have enough money to
pay my run. I don't haveenough money to buy groceries every week.
And now that it's summertime, I'mlooking for a part time job and I
can't find one. I don't knowwhat to do anymore. Uh, you
(11:05):
do dance, That's all I'm saying. So that very nice, shed.
I'm just throwing it out there, not try to be a richard. I'm
just saying, by the way, you're a dance teacher. They don't earn
a lot of money. All jokingaside, you don't own a studio.
You work eight months out of theyear, right, nine months out of
(11:30):
the year. Yeah, this isyou know, we talked about it on
Friday with her, you know, with Zach from Bulwark. What do we
talk about the fact that you goand look at a lot of these numbers
that we're seeing, like even jobcreate, you know, job creation,
A lot of those things are secondjobs for people's talking about my wife.
(11:50):
This weekend went to went to apick a ball tournament, had a lot
of fun. Shout out to Dianaand Ingo. I played in men's and
mixed tournament. Diana and I didn'tdo as well as we should have.
First time we played together. Ingoand I got a bronze, which is
phenomenal. Enjoyed it. But thecost of everything is through the roof.
(12:16):
We brought a lot of our ownfood to get the kids and stuff,
you know. But still I sitthere and think to myself, I do
pretty well for myself, and Ipour a lot of money back in the
businesses and the things that I do. But the reality of it is,
it is so damn expensive. Itis through the roof, damn expensive for
(12:37):
life. And you might have todo two things at this moment in time.
And I'm sure you love dance.Don't get me wrong, we all
love dance, but you might haveto have that seems like a passion.
So damn expensive, man is acrazy expensive three two, three, five,
three, eight, twenty four totwenty three atch had Benson Show,
(13:00):
it's your Twitter tweet at is textedprogram Israel. What will happen? There's
a big battle going on right nowwhere the hardliners want BB to just crush,
continue, push forward, don't stop. They don't even care. I
think at this point in time aboutthe hostages, and I'm talking about the
hard right inside you know, essentiallytheir Congress. Let's just go with that.
(13:24):
You mean the Knesset, Yes,I mean that, but let's just
keep it to what we know. And then you've got the moderates are like,
look, there's got to be anotherplan. There has to be another
plan, and yet another CeaseFire's comeover. One of the things John Kirby
talked about this weekend on was Stephanopolisis, uh, what more can be
(13:48):
done? We have not said thatHamas has no military capabilities. We've not
said that they don't still represent aviable threat to the Israeli people. Of
course they do, but they don'thave the military capabilities to do what they
did on the seventh of October. And so from a military perspective, only
George as President Biden said, theIsraelis have accomplished most of their goals in
(14:09):
Gaza, most of their goals. It's the thing we've talked about over and
over again. You're not going toeliminate a ideology for what we did for
all those years, two decades inAfghanistan and throughout the Middle East. Well,
it's been a lot longer than twodecades ago. For all of that
stuff. We haven't got rid ofthe jihad hatred right of the West.
(14:33):
We haven't got rid of that.We didn't get rid of al Qaeda or
the Taliban because it's an ideology that'snever going to go anywhere. It's the
how can you weaken them to thepoint where their impact is negligible. It
isn't mats, There isn't another Octoberseventh in the way. How do you
(14:56):
do that? And for a placelike Palestine compared to lead to Afghanistan.
Afghanistan is the sixth century. Ithas always been that way. It is
never going to be anything else. The question is could Palestine become something else
that is more modern? Will therebe a ceasefire soon? Where we are
(15:16):
right now is that proposal, anIsraeli proposal has been given to Hamas.
It was done on Thursday night ourtime. We're waiting for an official response
from Hamas. We would note thatpublicly Hamas officials came out and welcomed this
proposal. So what would we hopehappened is they would agree to start Phase
one as soon as possible, Phaseone returning who is alive? It's number
(15:43):
one. This was an Israeli proposal. We have every expectations that if Hamas
agrees to the proposal as was transmittedto them and Israeli proposal, that Israel
would say yes, I love howJohn Kirby has a reminder of it.
And Israeli proposal not ours, notEgypt. Remember Egypt change the wording to
(16:03):
like hey, uh, it saysto return all hostages, you should probably
put living and dead. Oh yeah, so we'll see. I mean,
this is the world events. We'retalking about Ukraine a little bit later,
the things that are going on goingon under Biden's watch. That's what people
see. I saw this weekend peoplelike, you know, what's really gonna
(16:26):
happen is Trump's gonna be president andthen Putin's gonna wake at him and stop
the war immediately. I'm like,so this is the new thing that the
pooter is going to stop the warthe minute Trump gets in, because it's
part of the ploy to get ridof Biden. That's where some of the
chaos and craziness is on the leftand the thinking. Three two three,
(16:48):
five three eight twenty four to twentythree At Chad Benson's Show, is your
Twitter? Tweet at his texted program. So much stuff to get to.
More on Trump and the polls, the polls not polands like do you like
Trump? Do you not like Trump? Those things? Talk a bit about
that a hard foul and Caitlin Clarkyes, WNBA talk Hunter Biden, some
(17:11):
COVID stuff. So much stuff toget to. You can text the program
always. Three two three, five, three eight twenty four twenty three At
Chad Benson Show, is your Instagram, your Facebook and your ex or whatever
the hell let's called today. Thisis the Chad Benson Show, The Chad
(17:36):
Benson Show, Independent Thoughts, IndependentLife, This is Chad Benson. Fauci
(18:02):
Lot and people Died. I'm onehundred percent, one hundred percent a believer
in that Fauci getting his day incourt kind of sort up, but not
really a court of public opinion obviously. But for those of you out there
who were, let's wear the maskforever, right, Let's keep our kids
out of school forever, and let'sdouble triple masks because Donald Trump not good
(18:26):
and politics got way way too involvedin COVID. But Fauci today on the
Hill ahead of the hearing, Asubcommittee has released a transcript of closed door
interviews with Fauci in January, inwhich he was questioned about whether he knew
about former colleagues allegedly skirting public recordslaws. In one email exchange, a
(18:48):
former colleague wrote to another, thereis no worry about Freedom of Information Act
requests foyas I can either send stuffto Tony on his private Gmail or handed
to him at work or at hishouse. He is too smart to let
colleagues send him stuff that could causetrouble. You don't think that's an issue.
That is absolutely an issue, andit's not just about by the way,
(19:12):
it is not just about the FOYA, which we should all think towards.
Think about this. If it wasDonald Trump and he's like, let's
skirt the FOYA stuff, people losetheir mind Republicans. We know how we
feel about the old Hillary and heremails. People died, it's horrible.
(19:34):
It was real. By the way, for those of you who don't think
that COVID was real, it was. No, it was real. Where
did it come from? Remember howyou couldn't ask that question? It was
one hundred percent not from a labthat Tony Fauci and Nih handed money to
(19:55):
quietly could never come out of there. So just in case, though,
guys, let's all go off on. Let's all go offline shorthand right,
pig latin, whatever we need todo. But it wasn't just about the
FOYA, because did he lie aboutother things? Today, Doctor Fauci expected
to face questions about social distancing, masking, and remote schooling and whether guidance
(20:17):
on those issues approved by the CDCdirector was based on science. Yeah,
was it based on science? Hereadily admitted. No. That whole six
foot thing kind of made that up. The masking he already admitted on television.
If you go back and admitted, yeah, I had to lie about
that because we needed the masks. We could sit here and talk about the
Donald Trump and we'll get back tohim in a little bit and we can
(20:40):
talk about a lot of the otherstuff. This played such a massive impact
on our lives, our kids' lives. I still have a child who is
trying to recover, all right, she's autism's on the spectrum. It threw
her life into disarray. We areplaying cat like you could not believe.
And this is already with the otherkids playing catchup. And of all my
(21:04):
little brothers and sisters, and Iwon't you know, talk about, you
know how they're my brother's sister,my niece's nephews who are you know,
very young, who are in school, and my kids. Jack is the
only one that kind of kept upand the reason was his school, for
whatever reason, decided to do everythingon their own. And my other little
(21:25):
brother who went to a private school, a Christian private school in California,
who missed no days. They're like, yeah, we're just gonna go and
nobody died. We need accountability, don't We're always talking about trumpets accountability or
someone don't needs accountable. We needaccountability in this. We need accountability in
this. It's not about revenge, even though everything seems to be nowadays,
(21:49):
unfortunately about revenge. It's not.But there needs to be accountability. All
these people who came out and saidyour kids can't go to school, who
came out and said we got toclose your business, who came out and
(22:15):
said you can't even go to thedam park by yourself, Because there needs
to be accountability, and Fauci needsto be held accountable. What did you
know? Why were you and yourteam trying to hide Foyer request? Why
is it that you got with thesocial media companies and absolutely turned this thing
(22:36):
political and stopped anybody from even askingquestions, were having a theory of their
own. Why you lied and peopledied? That's the reality of it.
People were going to die. Youknow. Here's the thing. You come
(23:00):
out and you tell people, hey, look, we want to get to
the bottom of this. Obviously we'redealing in China. We have funded part
of the research here have we've doneelsewhere. And the reason is is because
these diseases in the future, wedon't know what they're going to look like,
and our goal is to get aheadof them. And what took place
(23:22):
here is unacceptable and we need toget to the bottom of it. We
need you know, I mean, you could have come out and said something
like it but you didn't, andinstead you tried to hide it. And
for those of you out there whoare just oh, Chad, it's gone,
No, it shouldn't be. Thinkabout what's been lost. That's never
gonna be your game. Think aboutthe years for the kids that have been
(23:45):
lost. My kids I think aboutall the time. Luckily they're resilient,
they bounce back quick. Think aboutthe businesses, think about the lives,
all things that need to be talkedabout. But we'll see what it's like
today. And people say, oh, it's a revenge it's not a revenge
(24:07):
tour. It's a reality reality isthere needs to be some questions answered for
real And did you lie under oath? Did you do it on purpose?
Of course you did not, likeI didn't know, because that's his big
thing, is like we were justmaking it up as we go, which
is funny because remember where you're like, you know that mass doesn't work,
(24:29):
follow the science. Okay, thatmask doesn't work, follow the science,
and he's coming out going we madeit up as we went, follow the
science three, two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four,
twenty three At you had Benson showsyour Twitter tweet at as text the
program Starry. I get asked alot like if you could go back and
do it again, or you know, do this again? Would you I
(24:52):
get asked like, you know, was it worth it to speak out and
so to stand up to the beingbullied and to clear your name or whatever.
I think that's the celebrity that Iwanted to get a recognition for.
For the record, I've had somevery hot ones. No I will not
tell you who they are, Butwhy would I pick that one to become
famous? Or a gold digger? He wasn't running and this came out and
(25:14):
well before he ever said he wasgoing to run for office. This has
nothing. This is not politically motivatedat all. So a lot of times
I say no, it would havejust been easier, It would have been
easier to lie. It would havebeen horror What I didn't say horror?
I didn't say anything. Horror whatthis weekend? A lot of people?
(25:36):
You know again, I get alot of people to ask me questions.
I'm out there, I'm playing pickball, I'm ham fun. It's not like
I wear a Magas shirt. Idon't even own any Mega stuff. I
don't actually I do. I ownone thing, and it has nothing to
do with MAGA, but buddy Pablogave it to me and it's from the
Mexican American Golf Association because we alwaysthink it's hilarius because MAGA has been around
forever. But it has nothing todo with make America great again. But
(26:03):
you know the stormy thing. Whenpeople were talking to me about what he
was convicted of this weekend, nobodyknew what the conviction was about. Well,
he lied on paperwork. Okay, well that's a misdemeanor and that goes
back, you know, but whatelse was it? What was the second
crime? I don't know, electionstuff. Nobody even said that because they
(26:26):
didn't know, because nobody knows. And Dan Abrams talked about it. We'll
talk about it a little bit. It's like he's like, yeah, this
is one of the big reasons forthe appeal that they've got a great chance
is because the defense had no ideawhat the crime was until they had rested.
Could you imagine that you're going upthere and you're defending there's two crimes.
Okay, here's the first. Allright, what's the second? We're
(26:48):
not going to tell you. Idon't know. My defense is tough luck
just just kind of have a bigblanket defense. He didn't do it.
Oh lord, and she's just theworst. I love how the painter is
some sort of wounded dove. Ohstormy. She's been ridden more times than
the monorail at Disneyland. Oh boy. So settle down with that. And
(27:14):
she got paid, and then shecontinued to talk. Was it not enough?
I don't know. I wish herall the best in her future endeavors,
whatever those may be. Three two, three, five, three eight,

the same weekend last year. Yeah, nobody is really thrilled by what's going
on at the box office. Themovie. You know, it used to
be summer movie, blockbuster, MemorialDay weekend ushered in all the big stuff.
(29:48):
Now over the last ten to fifteenyears, you know, they've broken
it out. You're gonna get stuffin February that's big, and you know,
because you had so many DC andMarvel things, but there was still
the summer blockbuster thing. Kids arehome from school, they've got the summer
off, they're gonna go see moviesand do stuff like that. It's not
that way anymore, and you gottaproduce stuff that's good, you do.
(30:11):
You have to produce stuff that's goodthat people want to see. And right
now I'm looking around think a deadpool. Is that the next big thing?
May that be the big thing ofthe year. It's possible, but you've
got to produce things that people wantto see. All right. I'm just
letting you guys, you can't producepoop, but if you're going to,
(30:37):
chances are in North Korea is gonnatake it drop it in South Korea.
This seems to be a new strategyby North Korea sending so far hundreds of
these trash filled balloons into South Korea. Local residents have actually been getting warnings
to avoid outdoor activities because authorities justdon't know exactly what is inside these things.
Photos show plastic bags with garbage andfilth, as South Korea described that,
(31:00):
you know, scraps, paper, dirt. North Korea says this is
a response to South Korean activists sendingprohibited materials. Prohibited materials k pop,
not actual K pop singers. Thatwould be hilarious, they would flying them
over on Well, I just can'tstand you, guys. Do you guys
have to go? We just putpts on a bunch of things and floated
(31:21):
them over. They now live inNorth Korea, but Kate, they would
send over stuff. It's funny becausethey send over leaflets, and they were
sending over food and things of thatnature. But one of the things they
were doing is they were putting musicon like drives and sending them over to
North Korea k pop And it's crazybecause nobody's a computer. What are you
(31:45):
doing, don't have anything to listento it on? Oh my lord.
So in retaliation for years of this, this is the balloon battle that's going
on. Just hilarious. They weresending over all kinds of stuff, including
poop for a long time now,South Koreans a lot of NGOs sometimes for
(32:06):
North Korean defectors that are now livingin South Korea. They send into the
North, sometimes using balloons, leaflets, food, medicine, even media like
Korean dramas or K pop music thatis forbidden for North Koreans to listen to.
Programs that are forbidden for North Koreansto watch, but they send them
from South Korea anyway as part ofthis propaganda push to try to convince the
(32:29):
North that there's a better way oflife in the South. I don't think
we understand how sheltered those human beingsare. And the fact, you know,
we sit here and we talk aboutyou know, like the Islam in
particular jihad, radical Islam, thedeath cult that it is North Korea is
(32:52):
a cult unlike anything else on thisplanet. Will they believe that? I
mean, you'd almost have to goback to Japan during the War WW two,
where their emperor they thought was godlike, I mean during the only time
they ever heard his voice was likeduring the surrender. I mean, it
(33:14):
is that insane over there. Thesepeople are so sheltered. I remember watching
a documentary where they went over andthey it was like doctors without borders,
and it was just cataracts that theywere fixing. So it was nothing.
You know, here in our world, it's like, okay, it's not
(33:35):
a big deal. I mean it'sgreat. But so they would go and
they would do surgery on these people. These people could see and rather than
thank the doctors, they were goingover to the picture of their dear leader
and thanking him as if he haddone something. They are so sheltered,
so isolated, and so brainwashed,it is nuts. And now they're dropping
(34:00):
poop. It's what they do,so who they are, they're dropping poop.
But for North Koreans who receive content, particularly from South Korea, the
penalties can be extremely severe. Rememberwe showed you rare footage of those North
Korean teenagers apparently sentenced to hard laborfor viewing and distributing South Korean content.
There was a time twenty seventeen twentyeighteen when there were some brief periods of
(34:23):
cultural exchange between the North and Southpart of that diplomatic detent, and at
that time North Koreans were allowed tolegally get a glimpse of South Korean culture.
But those days seem like a distantmemory now with information controls arguably tighter
than ever inside North Korea. Yeah, it's insane, absolutely crazy how tight
(34:47):
that is. When we think ofthe world that we live in, where
we have internet at our disposal twentyfour to seven, when we have information
overload, when we can watch whateverwe want to watch, when we can
do whatever we want to do,when we can eat whatever we want to
eat, the things that we're allowedto say do, the freedoms that we
(35:07):
have, it's amazing. And whenyou think about the fact that they're so
sheltered, they are so isolated.I mean, we talk about China and
the communist system and all that stuff, they're so far away from that.
It's crazy, It is nuts, and that's why they have poop bombs.
(35:31):
Can't afford anything else, can't afforddefeat the people. Right, we're putting
satellites up, We're building big rocketsand for South Korea as a little poop
three two three five three eight twentyfour to twenty three. At Chad Benson
Show, it's your Twitter, yourInstagram. A lot of stuff still to
get to. Obviously more on Trump. The polls where they sang what happens
from here? This weekend I playedin a pickleball tournament. Several people were
(35:57):
asking me questions, especially yesterday aboutthis. Talk a bit about that as
well. You can reach out thosealways across all of our social media at
Chad Benson Show, where you cantext the show directly. Three two three
five three eight twenty four to twentythree. It is the Chad Benson Show.
This is the Chad Benson Show.Independent thoughts, independent life, This
(36:45):
is Chad Benson. Polls, polls, polls, Do they matter? Depends
you can hear a lot of themover the next couple months. Among Independence,
twenty six percent say they are nowless likely to vote for Trump.
That is a big, big chunkof the critical voters. And among Republicans
it's a smaller number, eleven percent, but still, if you think about
(37:07):
it, one in ten Republicans sayingthey are less likely to vote for Donald
Trump. That's not good. It'snot but it's early. Things will change.
It's interesting though. Epic Times hasan article out today talking about independent
voters in swing states, because,as I remind everybody, swing states are
the things that matter. If youlive in Texas, I don't want to
(37:28):
break it to you, you're nota swing state. If you live in
California, I don't want to breakit to you, you're not a swing
state. Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, North
Carolina, swing states you matter.Independent voters in Michigan and Wisconsin were less
(37:51):
concerned with the conviction itself. They'resaying what, They're less concerned, Yeah,
because they're looking at their wallets,They're looking at the chaos going on
around the globe. They're looking atthe lunacy in the woke world. They're
looking at the issues that are happeningright here, from immigration to a bunch
of other things, and they're sayingto themselves that feels kind of politically motivated,
(38:15):
and why he's maybe a bit ofa scumbag. That's his personal life,
and so I got other things thatI'm worried about. Just pointing that
out there. So when they talkabout polls, the only thing that you
should care about likely voters in theseven states I just talked about. Outside
(38:38):
of that, nothing else matters. It's not like if he was found innocent
and acquitted on all charges that peoplein California are like, we got to
vote for him. Now, thatwasn't happening. Speaking of that, So
do text in reminder, Chad, when you said lawyers as jurors were a
(39:00):
good thing, even the jur ontrue socials like, yeah, he's guilty,
you will mention that today will Yeah, maga, I'm not maga.
But you don't see that because here'sthe thing, somebody like that, if
you don't hate Trump, your maga. I thought maybe he'd have a chance
(39:22):
on hung jury. By the way, a lot of constitutional lawyers and other
lawyers thought there would be a hungjury or something. But as they've explained,
and I'll explain it to you guys, and I always go back to
this. This weekend, I wastalking to somebody about this. The judge
is going to push you into anarea of where you need to This case
needs to be as far as like, here's the parameters. Judge has that
(39:45):
kind of power based on what Isee in front of me or whatever.
And I go back to the RodneyKing beating. We all saw what happened.
He got beat nearly to death. It was horrific. Yet they were
acquitted. Why because the parameters werethis and inside of this they said,
(40:07):
no, you guys didn't do anythingwrong. Yet we see on video that
they're using him as a human pinata. So what you allow, what you
don't allow. All of these thingsplay into how a judge can sway.
And that's why Mrshan, we're goingto talk about the sentencing and things of
(40:29):
that nature in a little bit. There may be more than just one or
two things for an appeal here.Speaking of court cases, Gas whos getting
his day in court. The president'sson facing three felony charges related to obtaining
a firearm in twenty eighteen, atthe heart of the case whether Hunter Biden
was addicted to drugs at the timebut lied on a federal form to purchase
(40:50):
a revolver, twenty five rounds ofammunition, and a firearm accessory. Attorney
General Merritt Garland appointing a special councilin the case. We know he was
addicted to drugs. And I'm goingto say this right now because I'm not
one of these people that's full ofhate and anger and disdain for Hunter Biden.
I don't think he has a lotof issues. I also think he
(41:12):
took advantage of stuff that way mostpeople would have taken advantage of having a
famous father. And I'm glad he'sclean, and I hope he stays clean
because having been in and around watchingmy father die of drugs, watching my
sister destroy her life because of drugs, you make bad decisions. This case
(41:37):
would not be there had his namebeen Steven Smith or whatever. It just
wouldn't. It would not be there. But it is there. And you
did do some stuff that you shouldn'thave done. And I know, you
(41:57):
know, they're always like, well, you know he's alloweding. You know
the DOJ. Biden's DOJ's allowing thiscase to go forward, this and the
other. He's going to pardon him, as you should should also pardon Trump.
You want to really get back tolife in some normal way where the
division maybe closes down, you shouldstart looking at a lot of these different
(42:20):
things. But his day in courtis coming, and it's his own words
that are gonna get him in trouble. That's that's just it. Hunter Biden
possessed a gun for less than twoweeks, but prosecutors plan to use his
own words against him, including excerptsfrom his twenty twenty one memoir Beautiful Things,
as well as a text message heallegedly sent around the time suggesting he
(42:44):
was using crack cocaine. Oh inthe videos, what videos? Those are
all made up from that laptop.Baloney, not real, that laptop,
Oh, it was real. He'sgonna have baby Mama's up there. He's
gonna have his girl as ex girlfriendslash sister in law up there. And
when they took away the gun fromhim because they were worried about him and
(43:05):
he was spiraling out of control. The question is were you an addict when
you went and got the gun orwere you an addict afterwards? The uniqueness
of this case is that Hunter Biden'saddiction is very public. Just think about
it this way. And how wouldyou know if someone had an addiction.
That's usually a very private issue.Oh you can know when people have an
(43:28):
addiction. Come on now, ButI see what he's saying. Hunter's lawyers
could cast out on who exactly filledout the form and whether Hunter Biden was
even an addict at the time.Joy's selection could last up to five days.
If convicted, Hunter could face upto twenty five years in prison,
but experts say nonviolent first time offendersrarely get serious prison time for gun charges.
(43:49):
And here's the other thing. Well, if he didn't fill out the
paperwork, then who filled out thepaperwork for him? Shouldn't they be in
trouble. I'm going to go fillout of the paperwork for you. Don't
worry. I got this. We'llput your name down. I know,
because I get a lot of textmessages from people out there, like hey,
Chad about this Hunter Biden stuff.I just, you know, I
feel sad for a guy that lived, you know, like, and I'm
not trying to make excuses for him. I just know the addiction side.
(44:12):
Now, all the other stuff that'son him, that is on him.
That guy blew through, literally blewthrough blow like you could not believe the
fact that he survived is I thinka testament to his will to live.
So that starts today. Goodness me, it's all going on, people,
it's all happening. Speaking of happening, who wants higher gas prices? The
Expanded Alliance of Oil exporting Countries knownas OPEK Plus, led by Russia and
(44:37):
Saudi Arabia, agreeing to extend mostof its production cuts into next year.
On top of that, others willbe extending voluntary supply cuts. And this
comes as the group tries to remaincompetitive given slow demand growth, high interest
rates, and increased production from theUS. Brett crude oil prices had been
treating at about eighty dollars a barrel, and that hasn't been enough for OPEC
(44:57):
plus members to balance their budgets.Yeah, and I saw today it was
several headlines and stuff on the OldMorning Show and a few other places that
well, they're only doing this becausethey want Trump, so they're going to
make sure that prices go sky highbefore the election. So Trump, that's
(45:19):
the only reason they're doing it.That is the only reason they're doing it.
They like screwing with the West, but we always think it's just about
us. They love screwing with theWest across the board, and they see
in particular what's going on in Europe. They're wont to get away from fossil
fuels, but still being reliant uponit. They're taking advantage of it.
(45:43):
But to always think that every move, whether it's Putin or anybody else,
that they're only doing that for Trump. And I saw it that we can
you know, a couple of thetalking head shows that were just like,
yeah, putin the minute this,uh, he Trump gets in, He's
gonna end the war. And I'mlike, you think you think that's what's
(46:07):
gonna happen. Yep, that's it. That's it. They've already we know,
we know. I'm like, okay, because you guys know, just
like the last time, you guysknew that he was going to take us
to war instead of trying to getus out of wars, which is a
good thing because I don't want tobe in wars. We got some more
stuff about Ukraine coming up, alot of other things you get to this
hour three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty
three at Chad Benson Show. Isyour Twitter tweet at his texta program.
(46:30):

(48:00):
You're listening to the Chad Benson Show. Before she's excited, I think there
was thirty four accounts that he's guiltyof. It's going to jail forever,
(48:22):
Chad. Is he Adam Schiff thedipshift. My feeling is this judge should
continue treating Donald Trump like any otherAmerican citizen, neither better nor worse.
I would want to look at otherpeople who charged with these kind of crimes,
what kind of sentence that we askedfor? And that's what I think
the prosecution should do. But Ido think that whatever he says between now
(48:45):
and setancy, like what he saidyesterday, slamming the process, not taking
responsibility, continue to deny his guilt, that should be considered by a judge
would be considered by any other judgethan any other defendant in terms of sentencing,
and that would mean a harsher sentencethan if he were accepting responsibility.
(49:06):
Oh shut up. Adam Schiff isthe worst. He is Like I can
look around. I always like MacGaates. He's just I just I think
he's awful. Sorry I do.I know some of you love him,
uh, but I've And part ofthat had to do with the fact that
I spent like two days with him, and I thought that's enough. Here
you go at the border. Butwhen I listen to Adam Schiff, he's
(49:30):
like, he needs to takes Weneed to go back and look and see
how people have what the penalty hasbeen when they've been, you know,
found guilty of these crimes. Okay, let's do that. There never been
anything like this. What do youmean, Well, I mean there's just
you know, because of the it'smade up. What what do you mean
(49:51):
it's made up? I saw theBabylon B headline, said D. A.
Bragg says, nobody is above thelaw that I made up more from
the dim shift because Trump and hismaggot followers are digging in because all of
the enablers in Congress, including SpeakerJohnson, are essentially rallying around him and
(50:13):
doing so trying to tear down thesystem. Our democracy is going to go
through a further test. But Ido think this is going to take a
while to think with the American people. But I believe the American people are
not going to want a convicted felonrunning the country. They're not going to
want to turn the country into somekind of a criminal enterprise. Okay,
Adam Shift, fantastic there. JamesComey another fan of the Donald. So,
(50:37):
a lot of people have suggested thatthere are a range of factors that
would make it difficult to put aformer Do you agree with that that it
would be difficult or nearly impossible forthe law enforcement institutions to put him in
actual jail. No, they wouldjust put him in a double wide somewhere
out near the fence, out inthe grass, and he would eat there,
he'd shower there, he'd exercise there, he'd be away from general population.
(50:58):
But it's obviously doable. Yeah,it is doable. Now. Cyrus
Vance, who is the guy thatwas before Alvin Bragg, He was asked,
Hey, do you think he's goingto go to jail. This is
what he had to say. Ifyou were still DA, would you recommend
jail time? Well, I'm notgoing to answer that question because that's really
(51:19):
just for mister Bragg to decide. If you ask me, do I think
the court will impose jail in thiscase? As I said to you,
I think yesterday I think not.But ultimately that's Judge Burshan's decision. The
President has made this a little morecomplicated by having been found in content ten
times during the court. But Ithink that with the proximity of the Republican
Convention four days after his sentencing, and then if he is the candidate for
(51:44):
the Republican Party, the proximity ofthe election, I would be surprised that
he would be sentenced to any imprisonment. What do you think going to jail
would do for Donald? Now thatsaid that said, the court could adjourn
sentencing until after the jail neral electionand let men essentially decide. Then no
could do that. But Chatty isguilty. The appeal process. Dan Abrams
(52:08):
talked about the appeal process. Thisright here is everything you need to know
about how this thing went. Buton the second question of the jury instructions.
Yeah, there's some real appellate issueshere that are serious questions about why
didn't the defense even know what thecharge was that they were going to be
applying, what law that was goingto be each of these three underlying laws
(52:30):
exactly, And so there were alot of questions for the defense going into
this, I think as they weremaking their closing arguments not even knowing sort
of what the law that they weregoing to be battling over was. And
remember, they made their closing argumentsnot knowing what the law that he,
you know, whatever, he wasbeing charged with for that second crime,
(52:52):
and then the prosecution got to maketheir closing arguments and spring it on him,
so there was no way to evenrebut it. There's a lot of
issues here. I think a lotof people know that this weekend, I
played in a tournament over the weekend, and a lot of people, you
know, know who I am orwhatever, they were talking to me about
it and asking me questions, anda lot of Democrats, you know,
(53:15):
they're happy that something has happened,But when I asked him what did he
get charged with and convicted of?None of them can answer it. And
and then then you know, aswe started having more conversations, thought,
well, it's a little bit much, and I don't know, I fear
a lot of people had the Ifear that this is going into an area
(53:37):
that we don't need to go intoas a nation. And I agree wholeheartedly
on that. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four
to twenty three actch had mented showsyour Twitter. You can tweet at us,
text the program. I love hearingfrom every single one of you.
More on some Trump stuff's talking aboutCOVID, what's going on today, got
some text messages about that. Youcan always reach out to us on the
(53:59):
text line as well as Twitter. It is the Chad Benson Show, The
Chad Benson Show, Independent Thoughts,Independent Life. This is Chad Benson.
(54:40):
We got a first in Mexiko. No matter your politics, This is a
monumental moment for this country where politicshave long been patriarchal, where women were
not even granted the right to voteuntil the nineteen fifties. Changebaum is also
Jewish, Another first in this extremelycalf country. That's right, We've got
(55:01):
a new president in Mexico first aJewish woman. What that's right? What
do you think of those apples.Huh, Shinbaum is her name. She's
got a lot of issues, man. Mexico is just an interesting country.
First of all, there are biggesttrading partners. It's not China, it's
Mexico. Who is this lady? What is she all about? Those are
(55:23):
the questions being asked, because ourbiggest trading partners can to have a new
leader. The question now, howdoes she govern amidst myria challenges? First
among them will be public safety,as we saw firsthand during this election cycle
more than two hundred and thirty peoplekilled in election related violence, according to
Mexican consulting from Integralia. Also, how does she handle the United States?
(55:46):
Her mentor and current president and venzManuel Lopez Orador has a famously prickly relationship
with the US. A prickly relationshipis being well, I think that's understating.
It's not a fan of the US, so Claude, Hey, Shinbaum
very much a leftist overdoor is kindof her mentor Remember when he came in,
his whole thing with the cartels, was like, you know, hugs
(56:07):
not bullets, and we'll be friends. You guys do whatever you want to
do, and it's fine if youkill a bunch of people in America,
just stop killing people here and we'regoing to leave you alone. And obviously
that didn't work. People got sickand tired of that. And then of
course when it comes to public safety, my god, like anybody who ran,
(56:29):
for the most part was gunned down. You've seen more than two hundred
and thirty people killed as a resultof election related violence. The reality of
twenty twenty four in Mexico is thatif you are involved in politics, you
are certainly putting your life on theline. And I should say where this
violence is taking place. It islargely taking place at the municipal level,
not at the state level. Andthe reason why it's happening at the municipal
(56:51):
level is because that is the firstlevel of government that organized crime needs to
control in order to operate with impunity. I want you guys to think about
it. What if here in Americawe're like, yeah, we had two
hundred and thirty mayors and city councilpeople, people who are candidates gunned down
in the last several months, nobodywould want to me anywhere in your government.
(57:14):
I was watching a thing last nightabout mobsters, moist fascinated. Sunday
night they got a Hell's Angel thingon. Then afterwards this mobbed up thing,
and last night was about uh NicodemusScarfo and like they killed one judge
and they got a television show aboutit. There's two hundred and thirty three
(57:35):
dead candidates and sitting council members.Mayors think about that. How insane that
is. What are you going todo to protect people? That's what people
want to know, And obviously whatare you going to do with us as
your biggest trading partner. But alsopeople are sick and tired of the migration.
People are in America are sick andtired of the cartel seeming to run
(57:58):
wild. And part of that isour problem problem. Our addiction to drugs
is a legendary. But also there'strade issues, a lot of stuff.
The number one foreign policy issue isalways the United States. How much Mexico
decides to enforce its own immigration law, how many people they deport every single
day, has a huge impact onthe numbers of people arriving North and Mexico
(58:21):
knows that they do, and we'regoing to see how they handle it,
how she handles it as well,or if it's the same old same,
I just have a feeling it's goingto be the same old same three two,
three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty three, Hatch
had Benson's show to Twitter Bill ahWell. Now that summer is here and
the Hamas backing college protesters have dispersedback to their summer internships at Goldman Sachs,
(58:45):
I thought it might be a goodtime to say this. I actually
admire your youthful idealism, and ourworld would be poorer without it, much
like your parents who just wasted threehundred grand on that ignorance factory you call
it college. Not that I thinkit's your being this poorly educated and morally
confused that takes a village schools overindulgent parents social media. But three cheers
(59:08):
to you for at least having theimpulse to seek a cause and something bigger
than yourself. It's just that theone you picked you missed them boat by
a mile. Hmmm. I thinkhe's absolutely right on that. Look,
we need people who are idealistic,We need people who want better, who
(59:31):
see things in a not so bluntforce way. The problem is the people
that lead these people astray do itwith their own plan behind there that rarely
reflects anything that a lot of theseyoung kids want. We all want to
end poverty and war and all thosekind of Who doesn't, well, except
(59:52):
in course, if you're making bullets. But that being said, you're picking
the wrong thing you are, becausewhat's happening in today's world. And I've
said this since well long before Octoberseventh, Palestine is the new South Africa.
But it's not. It's the shishithing. But you're not really understanding
(01:00:16):
the entire picture when it comes towhat's going on over there. But here's
the good news. You want acause, I totally got one for you.
Aparthe died, Yeah, aparthe died, the thing you've been shouting about
with Israel for months, never mindthat Israeli Arabs are actually full citizens.
You learned that word from a twochain song and discovered that protesting South Africa's
(01:00:37):
apartheed in the eighties was a righteouscause. And so it was to this
day. When celebrities are asked whois the person they most admire, one
name is always the safest choice.Nelson, Madelic Nelson, Mandela Nelson,
Mandela Nelson, Mandela Nelson Mandela NelsonMandela's Yeah, there's a great song by
the Specials Limited. I think theywere called Free Nelson Mandela, Here's a
(01:01:00):
hell of a song. But thatwas really apartheid. That was real apartheid.
You're being told a portion of thestory and you're being led astray,
which isn't good. There continue, mister Mark. Today right now, hundreds
of millions of women are treated worsethan second class citizen. When you mandate
(01:01:22):
that one category of human beings don'teven have the right to show their face,
that's apartheid, and it goes onin a lot of countries. For
the last couple of years, womenin Iran have been saying, take this
hijab and shove it, because intwenty twenty two, a young woman named
Masa Hamini was arrested for wearing hermandatory hijab incorrectly and then died in police
(01:01:43):
custody, and now security forces havekilled over five hundred people protesting her death.
What it's the color of the skinthat matters. Remember that. So
why nobody cares about Ukraine? InRussia, it's just a bunch of whities
from Europe. Nobody cares about Haitibecause it's too politically tough to pick a
(01:02:09):
side. Nobody cares about what goeson in Africa because again it's it's black
on black and it's too politically it'sit's a minefield of no in Iran,
well, you know, Iran isjust a you know again, we look
at it like, oh my god, look at the way they treat everybody
(01:02:31):
and over there. If we saythat, it's like, oh, it's
because you're white and you're part ofthe Western evil. Amnesty International says that
Iranian authorities are waging a war onwomen that subjects them to constant surveillance,
beatings, sexual violence, and detention. What p did, he calls a
hotel stay in Iran. Me tooisn't a movement. It's what a woman
(01:02:52):
says when another woman says, mylife sucks one hundred percent, right,

Benson Show. President Joe Biden brokefrom a long standing policy branting Ukraine permission
to use American made weapons inside Russiafor the very first time. It's a
major reversal, as just days ago, the administration signaled a move like this
could escalate the war by more directlyinvolving the US in Ukraine's fight with Russia.
But now US officials telling ABC Newsthe President changed his mind to allow
(01:05:19):
Ukraine to better defend itself against therecent attacks on its border. About damn
time, let them protect themselves.I mean, it's it's so funny because
I hear from a lot of youout there who think it's ridiculous that we're
helping Ukraine. Let them have itokay, fines, So what's the next
(01:05:39):
thing we let them have? Becausethe whole thing is to do everything we
can. Everybody's like, we don'twant to escalate because that's Joe's big thing,
right. President Biden is a lotlike Obama in the sense that they
feel they could talk their way outof anything and by talking to it,
not like Trump. Trump thinks hecan talk his way out of everything.
These guys think we can negotiate,we could be nice, we could be
(01:06:00):
it's ridiculous. So my thought is, look, Putin's a bad dude.
And when I hear from you guyswho think it's ridiculous that where they're doing
anything, you all agree that Putin'sa bad guy, but you have this
thought that somewhere along the line thatthe pooter is just going to do what
(01:06:26):
win is enough enough? Because thethought is if we could do everything we
can to determine from here, thenthat's a good thing. Because what if
the next one is one of thoselittle tiny Baltic countries that he would like
to snatch up and bring back tothe motherland and they're a NATO ally,
well then we have to get involved. Exactly. Ukraine's not a NATO ally.
(01:06:51):
I mean, we're kind of inthe same neighborhood, but we're not
boots on the ground. And they'veevery right to defend themselves. Because so
many of you out there who areanti Ukraine defending the how dare we send
missiles over there that they can fireinto to Russia? Wait a minute,
you're all about Israel being able todefend themselves. These people are invaded.
(01:07:12):
Should they not have the opportunity todefend themselves? And the way that they're
doing it is kind of like, all right, here's the deal. Russia.
You can only fire at their missilesilo areas and military bases. You
can't actually go in any further becauseeverybody's afraid of escalation. Zelenski. On
(01:07:35):
Sunday night, Ukraine faced another roundof Russian strikes nearly during one day,
imagine nearly one hundred missiles and drawn. So this has happened hundreds of times
throughout the war, and no countrycould handle this alone. He's right,
(01:07:58):
then, some people keep saying,oh, Chad, you you thought they
were a paper tiger. Look,I think if Russia went after Poland,
Poland would kick their ass and wouldnot stop at the border. And I
think Poland, by the way, looks both left and right, looks in
Germany looks over Russian is there's apayback coming that being said, No,
(01:08:19):
we don't want escalation. I'm likeanybody wants that. Bo. They have
a right to defend themselves. Andyou gotta think macro right and not micro
and to think that every day wetalk about all the time. Every day
Ukraine survives, it's a win.Are the Russians? Look, would the
(01:08:44):
Russians have just walked through Ukraine withoutour help and without you know, NATO
allies and European allies help, Yeah, they would have because Ukraine, you
know, it's so funny. Everybody'slike, you guys called them paper tigers,
and now they're kicking the crap outof Ukraine. They've got a military
that they've run out of. Youknow, a Ukraine had not a military.
(01:09:05):
You got farmers, teachers, accountantsall out there defending no training.
Grab your stuff and go. Soit'll be interesting to see what happens from
here. Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four

Nature weird less you because it willshark in the water Southern California. As
you walk across the beach and seethese signs scattered about, and now it
says closure shark incident. Do notanswer right now. I spent my day
(01:09:50):
walking around speaking to folks in thearea, and they say this incident is
too close to home. I wasshocked. Honestly, people in the Delmar
area are still wrapping their heads arounda shark attack this morning at del Mar
Beach. This is the beach Icome to. I'm a local, and
this is the restaurant I frequent everyweekend for brunch. According to first responders,
(01:10:13):
the incident happened near seventeenth Street atdel Mar Beach. They say after
the attack they administered first aid treatmentand now they are describing the scene.
Yeah, a bunch of people swimming, you know they do that open water
thing, and there's like fourteen orfifteen people swimming. Next thing, you
know, shuck. City of DelmarLifeguard Chief John Edelbrock says they have hope

you rather be in the ocean witha single white male who's full of toxic
masculinity or a bull shark? Uh? Yeah, yeah? Are you ever
(01:11:40):
gonna ask that one? No swimminggot bit be careful? Why is that?
Because when you go in nature sometimesnature can mess you up. It's
that simple. I hate to say. You guys, you're in their home.
How many times would we tell youthat? Well, local leaders prepared
to reopen the beach in a fewdays. Locals are thinking about when and
how they will enjoy the beach inthe future. A little too close to
(01:12:03):
home, but the water is theirhome. But yeah, it's really close
to home. I will still cometo the beach. I will still watch
my nieces and nephews and friends whenthey're in the water. Oh okay,
that is their home. Thank you. We didn't know where else sharks would
live. By the way, Iwant to point this out. One of
(01:12:25):
the things that I think is onpeople's mind too, is ever since we've
got this drone technology, how manytimes are you scrolling and you see what
you see? A person on therein a kayak or on the surfboard,
and there's a shark right there.And I've said it for years, They're
way closer than you realize. Butit does show you how much it really

any show? Grab the podcast CheatBenson Show. This is the Chad Benson
Show. Independent thoughts independent life. This is Chad Benson. Over the past
(01:13:25):
twenty four hours, I had twoextraordinary things happened. The first was I
was able to get my hair doneyesterday, which seems like a very minor
thing, but in order for thatto happen, the salon had to close
for the day. The provider hadto promise to wear a mask. An
N ninety five I had to mask. Another immunocompromised person was the only other
client that day. We filled theplace with air purifiers and it worked.
(01:13:48):
And it worked because the service providertook me seriously. She connected me with
a nail technician in town who hasa day set aside every single week for
immuno compromised people and will literally shutthe place down for you, and has
bent over backwards to email all theother service providers at the sawn to make
sure they're not coming in the daythat I'm there. You know they're going
(01:14:11):
to wear a mask. I wassupposed to see them this past Sunday.
They canceled because they didn't feel well. They tested negative for COVID, they
didn't care. They still wanted toprotect me. My god, why are
you playing that? From what fouryears ago. Jet now that was from
late last week, and then havea chance to get to it. That
is a person who was still livingin the world of COVID. She ain't
(01:14:32):
done today. I filled out formsfor a dentist because I haven't been to
a dentist in two years, becausethe dentist that I saw two years ago
closed all their COVID precautions. Andthe very last question on the questionnaire was
tell us how we can make thisexperience extraordinary for you? And I was
like, oh my god, I'vebeen waiting for this question. I can
(01:14:53):
answer this. And I didn't writedown what I said exactly, but here
it was. And I'd already discussall the COVID precautions that I needed,
and the reason I was going tothis place was for COVID precautions. This
is not twenty twenty, twenty twentyone, or twenty two, not even
(01:15:14):
early last year. This is somebodylast week who is still living in the
world of COVID delusion. Now COVIDexisted, still does what I said was
going to happen happened. Endemic, not pandemic. It's going to be like
(01:15:36):
the rest of the covids. EventuallyWe're going to learn to deal with it.
You know. It's it's it.That's what it was. It happened.
This lady is still living this way, and there are a lot of
people out there who are living inthis weird delusion that somehow this thing is
still going on and that what themedia is now lying to you. Well,
(01:16:00):
everybody lives their life. I mean, think about that for a second.
She is so lost it that sheis living inside her house. I
haven't got my hair done in twoyears, been to a dentist. I
mean, what is up? Youcan make this extraordinary by taking my concerns
seriously, doesn't matter whether you believein them or not. Don't make me
(01:16:23):
advocate for myself, Like, dothe work for me. I will be
vigilant the entire time that I'm there, so much so that I will not
be able to relax. So ifyou want me to relax, to establish
that trust, take me seriously.Put on the N ninety fives before I
come in. Don't make me ask, don't put me don't make me anxious
(01:16:44):
by entering the room with that one. Minimize the amount of time that I'm
in your office. You know, have the air purifiers on. Remind me
of all the things that you're doing, because that encourages trust. Are you
kidding me? Don't make me dothis, don't make me do that.
Shut everything down down so us peoplethat are still living in delusional world.
And there's there's a reason I'm talkingabout COVID. I'm talking about that in
(01:17:05):
a second. But listen to herstill. I mean again, this is
twenty twenty four. When's the lasttime you wore a mask? Probably the
last time you wore a mask?I mean, no, wow, why
aren't you wearing an N ninety five? Because I'm not insane? Lady,
all right, this is why youget a cut. You're gonna die because
(01:17:28):
you have no immune system. Iget a cut and gozas suck and keep
on terrified, think about not leavingthe house. Can't get a haircut.
You can't get a haircut. She'sprobably been using the flovit. Now that's
gonna change anything. But still, here's what's fascinating. Six months ago I
called every dentist in Portland, everydentist, oh Portland, every dentist and
said, hey, I have abig group of compromised people and COVID,
(01:17:50):
cautious people we'll buy you out fora day. We'll do it every three
months. We'll just buy the wholeday. Well, buy the whole day.
You tell us how we can slapyou will send them in be have
to take COVID precautions. And nodentists would take us up on it,
not a single one. Now,none of them are hurting for appointments.
But that's not really the point. There's still doctors. They still you know,
(01:18:11):
are supposed to it's not cost effectiveyet. When I called this dentist
this morning, the first thing shesaid was, Wow, we're getting a
lot of requests from the mean acompromise community for this private room and this
you know, first appointment of thedate. It's getting really hard to schedule.
And I was like, yeah, weird, Right, It's almost like
there's market demand and you may wantto, I don't know, build a
(01:18:33):
second private room or you know, maybe make your entire practice COVID cautious.
Yeah, maybe that's what you wantto do. Here's something you make your
entire practice totally COVID cautious and builda second room and then tell all your
(01:18:53):
regular patients you got to always weara mask, you got to always do
this. You got to see whathappens. And the reason I bring that
up is because doctor Fauci today,it's going to have to sit down.
People are going to grill him aboutall the crap that took place, all
the bs that took place, allthe facts that you hid stuff and ye
(01:19:13):
lied and you did all that, and everybody's run around and Fauci's tetua because
he's just sou God, I'm science, believe me, blah blah, you
are an ass hat. Ahead ofthe hearing, a subcommittee has released a
transcript of closed door interviews with Fauciin January, in which he was questioned
about whether he knew about former colleaguesallegedly skirting public records laws. In one
(01:19:39):
email exchange, a former colleague wroteto another, there is no worry about
Freedom of Information Act requests foyas Ican either send stuff to Tony on his
private Gmail or hand it to himat work or at his house. He
is too smart to let colleagues sendhim stuff that could cause trouble. Oh
why is that? If you're skirtinga FOYA request, that says that there's
(01:20:02):
some issues here, right mey,my god, you've panicked a woman into
never getting a haircut for years. Why is that? Well? What did
he do? Well, let's talkabout the science, because that's going to
be one of the things. Remember, I am science Today, Doctor Fauci
(01:20:25):
expected to face questions about social distancing, masking, and remote schooling and whether
guidance on those issues approved by theCDC director was based on science. Was
it? Because I don't think itwas. I think it was based on
ps a lot of it. Solet me get this right. This is
something that came out of nature becauseit could never come out of a lab.
(01:20:49):
You would never know anything about this, right, Anthony, No,
I represent science. You would neverknow. So it came out of nature,
and you know automatically six feet isthe distance. Think about how stupid
(01:21:13):
we were during this. First ofall, the politics that got involved in
it, the fact that we couldn'thave conversations, the fact that it came
an election issue to the point wherewe changed election laws and did all kinds
of stuff. But on top ofthat, wearing one, two, three,
four, twelve mass showed your disdainfor Trump, and then the other
side of it, knowing that everybodyin the rooms got it, and you
(01:21:35):
walking around without a mask and goingin there. It's as stupid. I
just tell anybody, I don't wantthe flu either. But it was so
ridiculous and the politics of it allreally hurt and I think in many cases
killed people because we did stupid thingsand we allowed all so people to use
(01:22:01):
fear to control people, which wasjust but also some bizarre world of Well.
Ah lied about the mass because Iwanted to make sure all the nurses
got the mass. I lied aboutthis because it was just you know,
it was just felt like something tosay, like we can't tell him to
stand next to each other. Nobody'sbeen brought really to any kind of justice
(01:22:28):
for the years of learning that thekids have suffered, for the amount of
loss when it came to jobs forare insane inflate. I mean, we
whew, nobody's brought the bear. Why is that because the media hid a
lot of it. I mean,we sit here and we talk about,
you know, Trump did this crimeand the other crime was well whatever it
(01:22:50):
was, but you know it waselection stuff. How many lies were told
by this guy? Hmmm, it'sgonna be interesting. We're talking about it
tomorrow. Not a lot of otherpeople are. But we should be because

That was a non basketball play thathappened. Many online criticized the foul,

her. I'm like, what areyou talking about? And you know what,
I'm gonna be honest with you. This is one of those things where
you've got somebody who's coming in,who's got all the hype, who's got
all the stuff, and these womenwho've been playing in mostly empty arenas for
(01:29:08):
not a lot of money. They'rejealous. It's what it is. It's
a jealousy thing. Who's this greatwhite hope is what they're saying. What
is this all about? She isbringing eyeballs? And and I go back
to this again, Tiger Woods. There was a lot of that. Tiger
came out there, hit all thehype from the time he was a child,
(01:29:31):
you know, appearing on Mike DouglasShow, and that's incredible, and
everybody heard the hype and he cameout and he backed it up. But
it didn't mean that everybody was happyabout it because they felt like we've been
busting our ass out here for allthese years along comes this guy, but
he brought more eyeballs, and withmore eyeballs came more money. But at

guys who are playing now, weren'teven born when Tigers. They're making
millions of dollars and it's because ofTiger. So yeah, there was some
jealousy. It's the same thing withCaitlin Clark. I get it, but
the one thing is you have toback it up, and I think she's
been doing that. But I don'tpay that much attention to the WNBA three

(01:30:40):
the show, make sure you grabthe podcast. Love it when you do
a lot of stuff still to getto. On this Monday, it is
the Chad Benson Show, The ChadBenson Show, Independent Thoughts, Independent Life.
(01:31:13):
This is Chad Benson. Numbers matter, Which polls matter, that's the
big one. Which ones matter,Well, there's lots of them. His
poles are coming out left right center, because don't if you guys are wearing
this. Donald Trump has an issuewith the law and because of that,
well, we have to run tothe polls and find out these poles.
(01:31:34):
What's your poll say? What's hispol say? What about him? What
about that? What about this? What about that? What about this?
I love numbers. Yeah, JoeBiden is polling lower than any president at
this stage of his presidency, thanany in history. That is meaningful.
And it's not like Joe Biden's goingto get better with age like a fine
wine. He's more like a cottagecheese and as we know, that doesn't
get better with age. Civics hasa poll out today. They do state
(01:31:57):
polling all right, in forty eightto fifty states, Joe Biden is underwater.
Underwater meaning his approval is below hisdisapproval. Only folks in Hawaii and
Massachusetts slightly approve of the job he'sdoing. He's well under war in states
like California, New York, andIllinois. He's twenty two points underwater in
the state of Delaware, which isquite blueheads. You know, but it
(01:32:19):
doesn't matter. And I'll tell youwhy it doesn't matter in Hawaii or Massachusetts.
Who do you think they're going tovote for? There are seven states,
youah, North Carolina, Georgia. Those are two, Nevada, Arizona,
make it four, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, make it seven.
(01:32:39):
Those are the ones that matter.Everything else is just noise. What matters.
Independence after being pulled in Wisconsin andin Michigan are like, we'll see
not that he needs to go away, because those people who are pissed at
(01:33:00):
Biden, they don't want Trump, not those states. And the Republicans who
were saying one in three says he'sthe wrong candidate. Yeah, they probably
said that before this. But whenpush comes to shove, who are you
going to vote for? The Independentswho are frustrated and pissed can look around
(01:33:24):
and say, was it politically motivated? Do I know everything about the case
that I need to Is there achance this thing's going to be overturned?
Can I have another four years ofBiden? Those seven states, those independents,
people like this guy. Oh,it's party time. Huh, it's
(01:33:45):
a celebration. Everybody laughing and keykid, Oh he's guilty. You know
what the reality of it is,It doesn't even matter. You haven't changed
anybody's mind. The only thing that'schanged is that every minute of every day
they'll be calling him a convicted fellawAnd it's still won't matter, you know
why, because it doesn't negate thefact that Joe Biden sucks. His administration
(01:34:06):
suck, his policies suck. Webarely have a border. People are struggling,
can't afford groceries, nobody's buying homes. Boom doesn't matter. It doesn't
matter when you're struggling, when you'relooking around and you're going, how many
jobs do I have to have? How many things do I have to do?
(01:34:30):
When all these things are going onthe rest of it's just noise.
And I think a lot of peopleget that. There are a lot of
people out there. I talk toa lot of people about this, and
both the right and the left, from the everyday person to people who are
(01:34:54):
in politics on both the right andthe left at high levels, illed with
what their party's doing and the choicesthat are out there, but they understand
when push comes to shove, they'regonna vote for their party. They're gonna
hold their nose. Well, fiftypercent of Republicans are gonna do this.
(01:35:17):
It's always been that way. Whatwas it before? And if you're moving
the needle only two or three pointit's not like Trump had like thirty five
percent of Democrat support. He didn'tindependence. There's a lot of them that
were never gonna vote for Trump.I think what you're gonna find out,
you're gonna have more people stay homeand not stay home and vote. Just
(01:35:44):
stay home. Sit this one out, and you're gonna hear more of stuff
like this. Illegal immigrants are beingprioritized O for American citizens. Biology is
non existent, apparently, and sonobody cares about a bullsh conviction. Nobody
cares about him being a convicted felon. It doesn't change the fact. And
I wish I had a more eloquentor articulate way to convey my point.
(01:36:09):
But Joe Biden sucks. His VPis a earhead. People are tied of
Democrats and democratic policies. He's gota lot to say, they're eloquent or
not. He's right, Bill Barrsaid it. One is Russian roulette,
that's Trump. The other suicide that'sBiden. And I don't even know it.
(01:36:32):
Kamala maybe murder suicide at this point, which isn't a good thing.
But I want people to understand thatthe conviction of Trump doesn't make your life
any easier, doesn't make it anybetter, and people are still frustrated,
and it didn't move the needle enoughwhere you know, I mean, at
(01:36:54):
least at this point in time,it didn't move the needle enough that Trump
than any real issue where he's goingto be blown out of the water or
they're going to have to change course. It just it didn't turned it into
a sympathetic figure. Crime out ofcontrol, homelessness out of control, the
amount of people that are hooked, oning and dying from fittanyl out of control,
(01:37:17):
the fact that Biden is constantly talkingabout how the economy is strong and
nobody else feels it. People havebeen pushed to the brink. People are
tired, So I mean round ofapplause, congratulations. All you've done is
put a battery in the back ofevery Trump supporter in this country. Good
fucking job. Yeah. And ifyou don't think that's true, listen to
(01:37:39):
these numbers, and it seems tobe good for his fundraising if you look
at the numbers. Fifty two pointeight million dollars the Trump campaign says,
came in during the twenty four hoursafter the verdict, shattering records. You
know why, because people saw thisand they thought, my godness, is
so long that they can go afterDonald Trump in this way. It was
(01:38:00):
the first thing that came to me. They can go after you, they
can go after me, They cango after somebody who has a different opinion
or a different idea, or adifferent view. It's so long, it's
so un American. And that's theway a lot of people felt. And
a lot of people out there whoare still never trumpers said this pushed them
(01:38:21):
closer to voting for Trump than anythingever before. So when you see the
polls and you hear stuff like well, you know what about this or independence.
Among independents, twenty six percent saythey are now less likely to vote
for Trump. That is a big, big chunk of the critical voters,
and among Republicans it's a smaller numbereleven percent, but still, if you
(01:38:44):
think about it, one in tenRepublicans saying they are less likely to vote
for Donald Trump. Okay, butwhere are they? Are they likely voters
or are they voter voters? Arethey people that were already in Nikki Haley's
camp and are uber conservative on thesocial aspect of life and don't care about
Trump's populism and they never did andthey weren't vote for Trump anyways. You
(01:39:09):
have to break it down in differentways. Polls only matter in specific areas
when the questions ask correctly. Nationalpolls mean nothing, cause you can ask
the answers you're gonna get from California, New York, and Texas, Florida,
West Virginia. You know what you'regonna get, you do. There
(01:39:30):
are certain things that matter and certainthings that just don't. When it comes
with these things, did it movethe needle enough? I don't think it
did. I think it energized agroup of people, and I think in
some ways it pushed some people thatwere never Trumpers into an area of I
might and the people that didn't likeTrump, they still don't like Trump three

not gonna have a chance to spendtime with you and share in the amazing

(01:41:26):
meals, you've come to the perfectplace for takeout. Where are the one
with the money that you speak of? Uh, you got rid of them.
Remember you said it wasn't fair thatmen made more money, and so
you insisted on an equal pay,and you asked for jobs and school and
(01:41:46):
money to be distributed towards you.And so the men who had money now
make not as much as you,you know, just like you wanted.
That's what you wanted, right,That's exactly what they wanted. So if
you're looking for a man with money, they're not looking for you, by
the way, the ones who haveit because they know you're looking for them.
(01:42:11):
Men used to make more, andthen you wanted equality, but men
still have to pay, so nowthey have less money than you. And
it's not because you're doing better,it's because you ask to be given for
free. Here, let me showyou. We don't need empowering quotes,
we need promotions. There you seethat it says the future is female promotions.
(01:42:34):
Now maybe you could check my mathon this, but if the future
is female promotions, then that wouldmean not male promotions. And promotions are
where you get money, that's right. Promotions are where you get money,
unless, of course, you startyour own business and you promote yourself in
that way. There's a lot ofdifferent ways. But yeah, I mean
(01:42:57):
it's funny because I'll scroll through stuffand you run of these people. It's
like I want somebody six too,and they've got to be, you know,
fit, and they need to makethree hundred thousand dollars a year and
the whole time all the things theywant to think, what do you bring
into the table. At not onepoint in my life have I ever met
(01:43:20):
a man that made as much moneyas I did or more. You sound
upset. We are also upset. As a matter of fact, in my
forties, do you have turned intothe most pathetic group at a level of
high school early twenty struggle love.Yes, that's exactly what happened to me.
(01:43:44):
In school, girls got bonuses andI did not. And when I
looked for work, girls got bonusesand I did not. And then in
the dating world, girls got bonusesand I did not. So I ended
up with not very much. Sir, you need to balls up and make
more and stop wanting. But ladies, come on, it's what you wanted.
And here's the thing, and Ialways tell this to my girls.
The beauty of equality is when youget treated the same. That's that's it.
(01:44:09):
So if a guy's tough and aguy's hard on you, that's what
equality is. Because if they're toughand hard on other men, why shouldn't
they be on you. And thatgoes across the board. Whether it's sports
which men and women shouldn't really play, you know, it's one thing.
If it's mixed, like I playedpickleball this weekend, that's that's a different
thing. It's another thing if itis baseball obviously, or football or basketball.
(01:44:32):
I'm just you know, you getit. But in the boardroom,
I always I always laugh because womenwill say it's they treated me horribly I'm
like, do you see the waythey treated their their other quote unquote quote
workers, their rivals. You gottreated the same, and now what you
wanted maybe law fair kids, it'shappening. If I hear one more person
say, if it happens to Trump, that can happen to you. It's
(01:44:55):
pready happening to people like me.It's happening. What we need to be
saying is it's happen to Trump, and it's happening to people like you,
not it can it is. Iam getting sued a homeschool mom for flying
Trump flags in twenty twenty. I'vebeen in court for four years because Biden's
White House is saying that we gavethem emotional damage. The same lawfair that's
(01:45:16):
happening to Trump, the Obama appointedjudge, the gag order, all the
unfair tactics that they use, allthe abuse of resources is happening to regular
people. I'm still trying to figureout. Yes, I mean, it's
some of the stuff that's out there. The lawsuits are always ridiculous, but
that's across the board. I mean, lawsuits are, but I'm trying to
figure out, like the Biden administrationis suing you look at the January sixth
(01:45:39):
ers, the praying grandma, thewoman who was peacefully protesting in front of
an abortion clinic, the people whoare posting means on social media and facing
prison time. Free speech is underattack. The left is using lawfare to
chill free speech, to silence usand interfere with elections and to go against
their opponents and people who support them. What you need to be asking is
how any other people is it happeningtoo. That's a fair question because there's
(01:46:03):
some stuff out there, and wetalked about earlier today with COVID. Go
look at what took place with COVID, that insanity with COVID, the fact
that Fauci lied, you know, hearings are going on today, the fact
that that that they worked to squashinformation, to squash debate, to do
(01:46:27):
all of that stuff all in thename of whatever. That's that's serious and
nothing. Look, they're gonna gotoday and you know they're gonna hammer them
throughout today. I'm gonna talk aboutit tomorrow, and it needs to be
talked about, you know, fromfrom from the fact that they tried to
hide their involvement with nih in givingmoney to Peter Datzuk and all those people
(01:46:50):
to do these things. The factthat they tried to, you know,
go offline if you will, fromtheir government accounts to other things they could
those things. That's scary. Andof course you couldn't mention anything without getting
in trouble. We got shut downso many times for even saying, hey,
it's totally possible that this thing camefrom nature. It's also very possible
(01:47:12):
and more likely than it came froma lab leak. You're suspended for false
information. What's the false information?I gave both scenarios. It's it's possible
could have come for nature. It'salso very possible it didn't. Couldn't mention
that without getting in trouble, squashingthat free speech three two, three,
five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Show's your
(01:47:32):
Twitter tweet at his text the program. It is that time of the day.
We give you a little stupid information, and then I go and spoil
it all by saying something stupid. It's all takes stupid tills this morning.
It's the honest ones you want towatch out for, because you can never
predict are're gonna do something incredibly stupid. Now you're the fat, stupid one
(01:47:54):
with the big mouth. Is stupidlittle last time, you should never underrest
of my the predictability of stupidity. Now it's time fall stupid information. That's
right, a little stupid information. We wrap up today. George Washington bounding
(01:48:15):
father, leader of our country, the father of our country, great general
e a great leader, maybe notthe greatest general. Do you know there
was joke about the fact that heembodies the phrase losing the battle but winning
the war. Why because during theAmerican Revolution he lost far more battles than
he won. To site some experienceof the British Army, Washington very little
(01:48:36):
experience fielding a large fighting force, and the Continental Army was filled with soldiers
who are far from professional. Theytalk about his big thing is we're gonna
do it piecemeal. It's not abouta certain area, it's not about a
certain city. Our whole thing iswe're gonna lose a little bit, we're
gonna gain a little bit, buteventually we're gonna lose a little less.
(01:49:00):
And gained a little bit more. But he lost far more than a won,
which was interesting. Alexander Hamilton, his aid, says the plan was
simple. Our hopes are not placedin any particular city or spot of ground,
but in preserving a good army totake advantage of favorable opportunities and waste
and defeat the enemy by piecemeal. You know what he did. That solid
(01:49:24):
fun show today. As always, you guys have a blessed rest of your
Monday. As always, night nightJack. This is the Chad Benson Show.
