Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
I told you guys, Venezuela. Nobody believes me. Guess what.
Venezuela looks like. It's getting much closer than people realize.
Because Trump came out and said, Hey, yeah, we're thinking
about going after him on Land. We've authorized the CIA
to be CIA sneaky. We do it, maybe an assassination.

(00:36):
We're going to take out those boats.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Overnight, the Venezuelan government denouncing President Trump after he said
he was considering launching strikes within Venezuela's borders to target
drug cartels.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
We are certainly looking at Land now because we've got
to see very well under control.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Trump now acknowledging he's authorized covert CIA action in the country,
escalating a campaign against Venezuela's authoritarian Lea Nicholas Maduro.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
And that's what this is about. This has to do
with oil, This has to do with mineral rights, this
has to do with those kind of This has nothing
to do with drugs. I don't care what he says.
It is crap. That's a lie. Now the people that
love Trump, who live for Trump, who they They'll be like,

(01:22):
that's he's great, He's saving all of us. From all
the stuff. No, he's not, he's not. There's virtually no
drugs outside of a small amount of cocaine that come
out of Venezuela or even traffick through Venezuela. Virtually none.
Why aren't you going after Columbia? Just curious about that?

(01:46):
Why aren't you going and attacking Columbia if you're worried
about cocaine, because that's really what comes out of South America.
He'll say he's saving hundreds of thousands, how many lives, Well,
it depends how many the boat.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
So every time you see a boat and you feel badly,
you say, well that's rough.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
It is rough.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
But if you lose three people and save twenty five
thousand people, these are people that are killing our population.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
How well fentanyl. Fentanyl doesn't come out of Venezuela. It
doesn't come out of Columbia. Very little of it comes
out of South America. Very little of it comes out
of South America, a minuscule amount if any. And remember

(02:33):
where does it all come from? China? China. If we're
serious about stopping the crisis, the fentanyl crisis, it's Mexico.
Why aren't you going there? You're getting us into something.
I'm still curious of what you're doing. This is regime change.
How many times we've talked about it, Mike Lions, we
am on every Tuesday. We always talk about We're great

(02:54):
at the first part, getting rid of the guy. We
never stick the landing. Not lately we haven't.

Speaker 6 (02:59):
You know, I can prove that there was a ton
of drugs on that boat. People may be more supportive.
But here's the interesting thing is it feels like we
have declared war against fentanyl, which is obviously very dangerousing.
It's not a ton of fentanyl that comes from Venezuela.

Speaker 5 (03:14):
It's largely cocaine.

Speaker 6 (03:16):
That cocaine is usually purchased by Americans, even though it's illegal.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
They choose to do it. And I think the thing
that confuses me is less.

Speaker 6 (03:24):
About you know, does the president have the authorization to
do this?

Speaker 5 (03:28):
You know, fine, it's but like, why Venezuela. We know
that there are huge.

Speaker 6 (03:34):
Amounts of drugs that come through Mexico and other countries.
I never and maybe this was my niavitae, I've never
put Venezuela as like this leading drug issue in the
United States, and so I think.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
That's curious as well. As just simply, you.

Speaker 6 (03:49):
Know, why would you announce that you have authorized the
CIA to do anything. That's what I don't understand. Takes
away the element of surprise, and unless it's just some
to look.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Tough, that's Adamkins, your former congressman. I'm just going to
break this down for you. So when you guys, go
is that true? It's that true? Because I'll get some
of that right mostly my my, my other local show.
I get a lot of that because a lot of
MAGA supporters. And then you're like, okay, well here's some information.

(04:21):
Fencinal ninety percent of fentanyl ending the US trafficked via Mexico, Sineloa, Jalisco,
New Generation, you know, golf cartels. Those are the ones
out of all of the drugs coming into quote unquote

(04:45):
America via Venezuela maybe five percent out of South America maybe.
And out of that, no fentinyl. And it's cocaine. It's cocaine.
That's it. Where do you think cocaine comes from? Columbia?

(05:10):
So I'm still trying to figure out exactly what. Oh, oil,
there's oil. Let's not forget the oil. Don't pretend that
there's not that you want regime change. That's what it is.
You want to protect the powers that be who spent
a ton of money, and that is on what anybody
that is on your campaign, all the things that you're doing.

(05:34):
You know, you're building your new giant, spacious ballroom and
all that stuff. You want to make sure that those
big donors who've got all these oil opportunities and licenses,
and they've they've explored, especially on the coast Guiana which
is next to Venezuela. Venezuela said, now that's our land

(05:56):
you want to protect, and this is a great way
to do it. And you've you've it is a perfect plan.
Find a group Trendeirawa bad, evil, horrible. They're not good guys,
but they're not the Sineloa cartel, right, they're not the

(06:18):
old Mediine cartel. They do human trafficking and maybe deal
some minor drugs mostly though it's just like local street
gang stuff. They'd like to grow. And they are in
parts of South America. But you found the perfect this
is it Like they're bad, Yeah, let's get them. Then
you go from there and say, well they're they're the

(06:40):
reason that all these Americans are dying. So I'm doing
this to protect you. And the reason that this is
going on is because this guy over here is allowing
this to happen. Venezuela is awful. It's run like crap.
It's got the most one of the most incredible, vast
amount of resources on the planet. When you look at

(07:01):
their oil deposits largest in the world, bigger than Saudi Arabia,
and yet they've run it into the ground. Third of
their population has bounced. A lot of them have come here,
but they've fled elsewhere throughout South America. You want to
make sure that you go back in get all the
oil that we had, because look, before Baduro there was Javez.

(07:23):
Chavez came in, nationalized everything and took all those giant,
huge oil rigs, all of those giant, huge, vast amounts
of areas that they were producing huge quantities of oil,
and you took it, and they just took it away
from all the American companies. The euro companies just snatched

(07:44):
from said they're ours now. And now that they found
a huge deposit in Guiana, that might happen again. You
don't have four thousand marines floating around off the shore
and not think something's going to happen. But stop blowing
smoke please three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four

(08:05):
to twenty three atchadbent to shows your ext your Insta,
YouTube and more. Meanwhile, while that's going on, the government,
what are you doing?

Speaker 7 (08:13):
After already firing more than four thousand federal workers during
the government shutdown, the Trump administration now saying that number
will more than double.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
I think we'll probably end up being north of ten thousand.

Speaker 7 (08:23):
The president, saying he's going after programs dear to Democrats
and the Americans who work on them. It comes as
hundreds of thousands of other workers are now missing paychecks
as the shutdown drags on. The president has authorized extraordinary
measures to pay the troops and today said the FBI
will get paid.

Speaker 8 (08:40):
Two.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Well, you got to pay the troops, right. You can't
have him invade Venezuela on an empty stomach, worried about
whether or not their car's going to get repolled. The
A judge put a stop to the firings at least temporarily.
And this isn't going to and I think and maybe

(09:01):
next week's the best chance we may get at seeing
the government shut down. And and the reason is Mike
Johnson's already come out and said yeah, and there's nothing's
going to happen before next week. So that's where we
are at this moment in time. Government still shut down, arguing,
still going on. Not really sure at this moment in

(09:22):
time where we're headed, because the polls aren't really favoring
one side or the other when it comes to you're
doing the right thing. The other side is the problem, because,
as we've said, this is about politics and power. It's

(09:43):
not about the people. The politics. We're doing this because
we're standing at our politics and who we are and
blah blah, blah blah. But really what you're doing is
we're standing with the power. We want the power, or
we want to reclaim the power, and if the people,
if things go sideways with the people and it gets
really bad, then we'll come in and we'll talk and
will look like we tried to make amends. But this

(10:05):
isn't changing at least for another week or so. So
be prepared because I think in the next few days,
and again I was wrong. I thought it'd be shorter
than this. I think in the next few days, especially
now that Trump figured out how to get everybody paid,
the people that the military, which was a big deal.

(10:26):
Now that that's happened, this thing could go on a
little bit longer. It isn't until they really missed the
checks and people are feeling it. But you're starting to
feel and I'm hearing from more and more people who
don't directly work for the government. Well, I've get several
of those that text me, but a lot of them
who are contractors, and we touched on it yesterday. They're

(10:48):
hurting because they're not getting paid, they're not working producing
the things they do for the government. And because of that,
they're having to drain their savings, their bank account, they're
having to take out of credit to keep their doors open.
If this thing goes on much longer, three, two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three atch Had Benson Show, Is

Speaker 2 (13:12):
The Pentagon making changes because they want to be transparent.

Speaker 9 (13:17):
No, it's deadline day for media outlets to sign the
Pentagon's new restrictive press access rules. It states that reporters
cannot solicit or report on any information The Department of
Defense does not authorize news organizations across the board, including CNN,
as you might imagine, rejected signing a pledge like that.

(13:37):
Defense Secretary Pete Hegsaf called Pentagon press access a quote privilege,
not a right, and respond to outlets who aren't signing
it with a single waving hand EMOTIONI.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
Oh, well, what are they doing. They're getting basically rid
of the press. Unless you decide to do only what
they ask you to do, publish only what they want
you to publish. That's not transparency. You're hiding something. What

(14:09):
are you hiding? Mostly maybe the fact that nobody there
likes you and you're not doing a good job, Chad.
They could just wander anywhere, they could do anything. I
heard that yesterday from ten people. Not true. Sager and Jety,
great guy breaking points. He covered it was his first
gig in the journalism world. He breaks it down on

(14:30):
how tough it is to get around the Pentagon.

Speaker 10 (14:34):
You do not roam free in the Pentagon, Okay, believe
it is one of the most secure buildings in the world.
I used to cover the White House. The White House
is ten times less secure. I could quite literally walk
into the high like big parts of the West Wing
as a reporter without ever being a costa ask.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
You to open the door? Is that literally open the door?

Speaker 10 (14:56):
I could walk right up into the upper press area
of the West Wing and be twenty feet away from
the Oval office without being asked or looked at.

Speaker 11 (15:04):
Uscans and we can say from services.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
You don't roam Freeze arguably the most secure building in DC,
so that doesn't happen. And the hole you got to
wear a press badge. They already have badges bad in fears.
You have to make sure you stay in these areas,
and you can't solicit any information, can't publish any classified information,

(15:29):
and or anything else they deem potentially bad. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson
shows your ex your Insta, YouTube, Facebook, and more. Let
me know what you think. Does this feel like transparency?
I'd love to know right here on the Chad Benson Show.

(15:50):
And that's the big part that he's worried about, not
the classified information. He's worried about stuff getting out where
people say he's he's awful, because he is. He hasn't
been good. He's been awful. He's been awful. And this
is not transparency at all. And so one of the

(16:13):
interesting things is who didn't sign it? Everybody but One
American News. So One American News, which just kisses the
ass of the party in particular Trump, they signed it.
They like, we'll do anything you guys. I ask everybody else,
including Newsmax and Fox.

Speaker 12 (16:35):
It's one of the most important details here. Newsmax has
said it is not going to sign this pledge. It
won some sort of resolution, but it's not going to
sign the pledge as it stands now. And I'm told
Fox News is taking the same stand, and Fox, along
with the major broadcast networks, is going to come out
later today and say it's not willing to sign along
and play along with.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
These rules either. Good. You know what I like how
he said, You know it's it's a privilege, not a right. No,
free speech is a right, and you're trying to stop
free speech. You're trying to cover.

Speaker 13 (17:11):
Up.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
You're trying to make sure that the American people aren't
informed about what's going on. And I'm not talking about
publishing classified information, just in general what has happened there?
You don't want out three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Shows, Your ex

(17:33):
your Insta coming up this hour. A lot of good stuff, yes,
including number twelve today in our Scary Movie Countdown. It
it's The Chad Benson.

Speaker 11 (17:39):
Show, then Chad.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show, The.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Fallout from the Young Republicans, and that's that's kind of
misleading when they say the young Republicans, these text messages,
slash telegraph discord exchanges are with people that are in
their thirties and some in their early forties, so they're

(18:26):
not young. They're idiots. They should have known better. They're awful,
and they gave the left everything that they said the
right is about behind closed doors. And the most embarrassing
thing that I find the people on the right trying
to downplay this as it's no big deal. It's just

(18:47):
a bunch of fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen year old screwing
around saying just some fun stuff, and they thought they
were being ed gan blah blah blah. Wrong, wrong, wrong.
Some of them are as old as the people who
are trying to defend this, and those people aren't in college.
Let's go over it again.

Speaker 14 (19:06):
Plitico publish their report today under the headline I Love
Hitler Leaked Messages exposed Young Republicans racist chat political reports.
Leaders of young Republican groups throughout the country worried what
would happen if their telegram chat ever got leaked, but
they kept typing anyway. They referred to black people as

(19:27):
monkeys and the watermelon people, and mused about putting their
political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their
enemies and driving them to suicide, and lauded Republicans who
believe who they believed support slavery. The exchange is part
of a trove of telegram chats obtained by Politico and

(19:50):
spanning more than seven months of messages among young Republican
leaders in New York, Kansas, Arizona, and Vermont. The chat
offers an unfiltered look at how a new generation of
GOP activists talk when they think no one is listening.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
And that's the most important thing, because what happens behind
the closed doors, what happens when people don't see you,
is where the real you is. To me, you find
out the most about people when the cameras aren't on,
when nobody's looking. That's when you find out who the
real person is. I always bring up Tim Tebow in
this because you'll see moments behind closed doors, you know,

(20:33):
as far as the cameras are off and they're backstage
and and everybody's kind of finishing up, and you'll look
over and there's Tim Tebow and he's talking to a
bunch of kids, and he's signing autographs and he's doing
things and there's nobody there to see it. There's no camera,
there's no nobody is there to see this so they

(20:56):
can splash it out to the world. No, he's doing
it because it's a moment for somebody and he feels
it's important. There's a lot of people like that. That's
who you find out. Okay, this is what this person
really is about. These people who, by the way, I
want to remind everybody it says young Republicans, they're not young. Yes,
some are in their twenties. Most of them are in
their mid to late twenties through their thirties into their

(21:19):
early forties. So they're not super young. They should know better.
Oh and just to let you guys know, some of
them are in politics. Yeah, Peter Junta, Bobby Walker, William Hendrix.
Hendrix lost his position with the Kansas Attorney General's Office
JINTA or GIANTA. He was fired. He was chief of

(21:42):
staff for assembly Member Mike Riley. Riley told the outlet,
they don't align with my values. I should hope not.
One of the guys Michael Bartel's he worked in the
Trump administration with the small business administration. So are there
more probably the amount of pages and the amount of

(22:05):
discord entries or telegraph or because this is just one
group of things, this is telegraph. They were worried about
it kind of because they thought we could get in
trouble for this. I've gone through a lot of it
and edgy jokes, right, Like, that's one of the things.
These are edgy jokes. They're not edgy jokes because you
guys aren't funny. And you're not talking about it in

(22:26):
a way where you're Daniel Tosh or you're somebody who
is a person that can go to the edge and
go over it because that's who you are. That's what
people expect. And you're not talking about a group in
a way where there's hate and malice. Matt Walsh again,

(22:47):
all these people jd Vance comes out and he's like, well,
what about the guy who you know, the age who
said this about a family. No, I'm sorry, stop trying
to absolve your side based on the fact that your
side did something bad. And so you're like, well, so
did they don't give me that crap? Matt Wall said

(23:08):
the Virginia age candidate fantasized about murdering children, and no
Democrat at any level called him to resign or denounced
him in any serious way. They did denounce him, but again,
what he said was horrible. This is not absolving him
from what he said. This is not stop trying to
protect your side based on the fact that the other

(23:30):
side also does horrible things and says horrible things. Police
your own. He goes on to say. Meanwhile, a few
college kids make edgy jokes in a group chat, and
conservatives are tripping over themselves to denounce and disavow and
call for firings and resignations. Absolutely pathetic. If you're still
playing by the rules the left sets but doesn't even
follow themselves, you're hopeless, completely hopeless. No, I'll call crap

(23:55):
out as I see it. I'd like to be your kid.
Why is that because obviously, if your kid did something,
it's got to be the other kids who've done some
other stuff, So therefore you're absolved from any any kind
of responsibility for your actions. Absolute horse crap three, two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at ched Benson shows your
ex your Insta, YouTube and more. We'll have more on

(24:15):
this a little bit later yesterday. Scout has had a
big case in front of them having to do with
Louisiana district's being drawn up based on race.

Speaker 8 (24:26):
After the last census, Louisiana drew a map that only
had one majority black district, and a number of minority
voters challenged the map as discriminatory, and they won, and
a federal court essentially told Louisiana they had to go
back to the drawing board and create a second majority
black district in order to comply with the Voting Rights Act.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
Now here's the thing. So they have to go back
and go you have to draw a new district, and
this one has to be based around black voters. You're like, oh,
that feels like that's race.

Speaker 8 (24:53):
A group of non white voters sued over that map
and said that using race to draw that second district
was itself a discriminatory use of race. It is sort
of a head spinning argument that has turned on its head,
but it really boils down to how much race is
too much race? How do you comply with the Voting

(25:13):
Rights Act of nineteen sixty five while also complying with
the Constitution, which is a good question, and based on
how they're asking the questions yesterday, you can always tell
how they asked questions and pushed in certain areas, you
get a sense of where they're leaning. In this case,
it did seem clear that the Court is ready to

(25:35):
put some sorts of limits on how Section two of
the Voting Rights Act is applied to state election maps.
And in the case of Louisiana, that maybe race was
too predominant in drawing that second majority block district and
they might have to go back to the drawing board.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
And these are important as Texas redistricts, as California is
going to try to redistrict because the goal they say
it is, oh, this is a black area, so the
black area is going to vote Democrat because that's the
way everybody thinks that everybody's a monolith, and the white
area is going to do this. And the way that
they've done this now they've said, hey, maybe we need
to step back and say we need to focus on

(26:13):
not race, but population areas that aren't jerry manderd Maybe
maybe that's what we do. I feel like they're going
to say, no, we these things have to be drawn
in a fair way that has to do with population,
not so much about the color of your skin, which
is what I thought everybody wanted. Three two, three, five, three, eight,

We're continuing our march to the scariest movie of all
time brings us, though we're still a ways away to
number twelve on the count number twelve. Indeed, this movie
is gritty, is grimy, it is a lot of things,
and I love it. I love this is not one

(28:43):
of those psychological art house kind of horror movies. That's
very like almost shot in CPA. No, no, no. This
was meant to be gritty, grimy, scary, nasty of just er,
and it delivers it all the freaking way through, with

(29:06):
some humor, some violence, lots of scares, and a crazy
ass family and a legend. Let's get to it and
find out what today's movie is.

Speaker 16 (29:21):
The time has come, so prepare yourself for a journey
of fear from the darkest corner of cinema, the most
bone chilling tales ever told. It's the countdown you've been
waiting for. Which movie will take the top spot? How
about a fish tail so big because the jaws open wide,

(29:46):
or the story of a young innocent girl battling evil
with some help.

Speaker 5 (29:54):
Well, then let's introduce ourselves.

Speaker 13 (29:55):
I'm Demons and I'm Cavil.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
Are you ready? Number twelve? All right? Number twelve Today
comes to us from a man who is a rock star.
It was the first movie he did. His name is
Rob Zombie. This was his debut film, House of a
Thousand Corpses. Oh, that already sounds gross and weird.

Speaker 17 (30:18):
It is.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
It is incredible. It's Park Texas, Chainsaw Massacre, It's Grindhouse,
it's splatter. It's got that seventies kind of weird feel.
There's no doubt about it. This movie is entertaining, funny,
but it's also violent. It's got some creepy ass scares

(30:39):
in it. I'm not gonna pretend there isn't. And there's
a legend that goes along with the whole thing.

Speaker 13 (30:46):
Like blood violas fricks of nature?

Speaker 18 (30:52):
Was that?

Speaker 1 (30:53):
What should we stop?

Speaker 2 (30:54):
We can't even right here in the rain.

Speaker 5 (30:56):
You already think about the legend of Doctor Satan.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
So you I ain't seen nothing yet.

Speaker 5 (31:06):
Have you seen this girl?

Speaker 2 (31:07):
Yeah? They won't play Nancy Drew with his local legend.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
People called doctor Satan's.

Speaker 13 (31:11):
Stupid kids probably got themselves a lost.

Speaker 5 (31:13):
He's get out of this hothouse.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
Bookie man is repealing.

Speaker 19 (31:19):
And you found him.

Speaker 5 (31:24):
Shut hope you like what you see?

Speaker 2 (31:31):
Oh, it is so awesome. Stars a whole bunch of
folks that really had great careers and some of them
just kind of getting started. Sherry Moon Zombie is one
of the stars. She plays Baby Bill Mosley plays OTISB. Driftwood.
Karen Black, the great actress of the seventies and a
bunch of horror movies. She plays mother Firefly. That's the

(31:53):
family and Sid Hague plays Captain Spalding and he is
awesome now one.

Speaker 5 (32:01):
Of our local heroes es.

Speaker 13 (32:03):
Quinton quail Akaa, doctor Statan, murderer, torture for most allmastic surgeon.
Mister Quayle was an intern at Willows County Mental Hospital
nicknamed We'd Been Willows for the never ending cries of pain.

(32:24):
Through primitive brain surgery. Mister Quayle believed that he could
create a race of superhumans mentally ill vigilanted. Justice prevailed
that took his ass out and hung him, and.

Speaker 20 (32:40):
That infamous ngantry is no more in a stone throw
away from where y'all's ass is now seated.

Speaker 5 (32:48):
The next day.

Speaker 13 (32:50):
His body was found to be missing. Until today, no
trace doctor Satan has ever been discovered.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
But then moves may Day.

Speaker 13 (33:04):
That lives next door to you.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
Oh, just Sid Hague is amazing in this. The movie
set like the seventies and these kids are on their adventure,
right this young couple Rain Wilson one of them, Chris Hardwick,
who is another one of them in this and you'll
recognize them. They go on this like adventure across the
country and they've got the map to go look at

(33:28):
all the weird creepy things, and this is one of
the things that they want to go look at. It's raining,
this weird little amusement park. Think of a seventies BUCkies,
but with horror if you've never been to a BUCkies,
and it's just amazing. And then they pick up Sherry
Moon Zombie, who happens to be baby of the Firefly family,
and the Firefly family, well, they're just the worst, evil, bad, chaotic.

(33:55):
Think of when you see the movie, how dark it
is and the creepiness of it and the feel of
it with the atmosphere, it's like something you can't even imagine.
You've got to go to, something like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre,
except with quite frankly more personality. Rob Zombie did the movie,
and when he did, he held a screening as you

(34:16):
do for all of the big wigs, and let's just
say they weren't thrilled.

Speaker 21 (34:20):
So I made the movie with Universal Studios, made our
test screening, which I thought when I thought went great,
and the head of Universal at the time came up
and was like, we have to talk tomorrow. I was like,
oh man, that was not a good tone. So the
next day they dumped the movie and you know, just
basically booted us out.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
And then what was the conversation.

Speaker 21 (34:40):
They were like, we basically this is unreleasable. I don't
remember word for word, but that was the conversation in
a nutshell.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
But it got released. It did quite well, and it
spawned two other movies based around the Firefly family. One
was called The Devil's Rejects and the other was called
Three from Hell. The movie is gritty, It is horroresque
in every way, especially if you're like those seventies kind of.
It looks kind of really real, and it's got some

(35:09):
great jump scares. It's got some monster like things in there,
and it's got great legends along with humor. I love
this movie for what it was and what it is.
It's fun and it's scary, and it gives you the
Gordon blood, especially at this time of the year. If
you like scary movies. Our number twelve House of one
thousand courses three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four

(35:29):
to twenty three at Chad Benson shows your ex, your Insta,
YouTube and more. If you've got any suggestions, let us know.
We love hearing from you right here on the Chad
Benson Show. Coming up, our number two of the program,
more on whether or not we will invade Venezuela. And
I find that interesting and a little bit humorous because
there was a movie, speaking of movies, that came out

(35:50):
just about two or three weeks ago, a documentary. I'm
gonna play some of it, and I think you're gonna go,
what the hell is that? Oh, it's it's It is incredible.
We've got more on what's going on with the government shutdown,
religion and politics. And let's not forget the fact that
the young Republicans, what the hell were you doing? It
was so weird yesterday trying to listen to people on

(36:13):
the right side of the aisle justify and or downplay
their text exchange our number two straight ahead, Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (36:52):
The government may be shut down, but you know what's up?
See what I said down what's up car prices? This
is important because when I heard this, first of all,
what I said a few weeks ago, when people said,
yeah that you was validated. Secondly, oh my god, how
expensive is life?

Speaker 17 (37:13):
According to a report from Kelly Blue Book, the average
price for a new vehicle has cracked the fifty thousand
dollars mark for the first time ever.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
That's shocking.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
I think it's obscene, and that's just what people paid.

Speaker 17 (37:27):
The average asking price, the MSRP for twenty twenty six
models is even higher, more than fifty two thousand dollars.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
Talk about sticker shock. I'm sorry, I just had to
get off the floor. Are you ready for the average
payment seven hundred and fifty bones a month? Mother of goodness,
are you kidding me? Seven hundred and fifty dollars a

(37:53):
month for a new car? Insane? Life is getting more expensive.
I think people thought things were gonna come down. They're not.
Here's my financial tip of the day. Never buy a
new car unless you're just stupid rich, and it doesn't matter.

(38:18):
In fact, by the time it took you to swipe
your card and transfer the money, the interest in your
account has already paid for the car. Outside of that,
never buy a new vehicle. They're a depreciating asset. The
minu you drive it off the lot, it's down twenty
percent and then what fifteen percent a year? I was

(38:42):
selling somebody yesterday well, if it drops fifteen percent a year,
I just wait like six or seven years the car
be free. Use vehicles or through the roof as well.
Life is expensive. The economy matters. And when you are
saying I need a new vehicle, what am I gonna do?
I'm gonna have to get a car? And you go

(39:04):
out and you're like, well, I'm sick of getting a
car and it's breaks down. And next thing you know,
you're like, I think I'm gonna get a new car.
Then you go and get the new car, and then
you find out not only is it seven hundred and
fifty bucks a month, top of that, you got another
one hundred and fifty to two hundred dollars for insurance.
With your maintenance everything, you're over one thousand dollars a month.

(39:25):
And for a lot of people, that is a that's
a big that's a big chunk right there. Oh and
here's one more thing. Loans now on average sixty eight
months sixty eight months, they're growing, You're paying more longer,

(39:47):
and it's more expensive even to fix the car.

Speaker 5 (39:52):
Man.

Speaker 2 (39:52):
That is just I threw it out there. I said,
you know what this is? This is this right here?
Eh going to get your oil chain. Don't get a
new set of tires, does it. I mean, it's just
everything is way more expensive. I couldn't even imagine, Like
I told my wife, because we I kick myself every day.

(40:15):
Oh did you have one of those awesome cars? I
had a saturn. Don't laugh at me. First of all,
I just want to preface this with I don't care
about cars. I go from point A to point B.
That's all I care about. Is it safe? I got kids,
That's it. I don't care about the look. I don't

(40:35):
care about what the interiors. Does the radio thing work great?
Do I have cup holders? Very important? The cup holders?
And then the rest of it is safe and I
don't care. I don't care if my car's burnt orange. Well,
that's not fair because I love orangs. But I just
don't care other people do. To me, it's just a
means to get me from here to there. And one

(40:57):
of the great things about the move that I made
is I look in an area where I am a
thousand steps from my front door to work for my
other show, and I'm one hundred steps basically to the
studio here in the same apartment complex. I don't have

(41:21):
to drive anywhere. But we've got a car, and we
pay more on it every month so we can pay
it down. But I had a Saturn and I loved it,
and it was paid off, which is then another thing
I loved. But it was a stick. And my wife's like,
you're driving one hundred and thirty miles a day and
you're getting stuck in traffic and then COVID hit after

(41:41):
we got rid of it. Otherwise I would never got
rid of it. And when you hear the fact that
people are paying on godly amounts of money for their vehicle,
it's just it's insane, it really is. And you're not
by the way, you're not getting a new Audi. You're

(42:02):
not getting a new Mercedes Benz with all the fixes.
You're getting a new vehicle and it's got the you know,
GPS and all that, but you're not getting this. You
know what we would have thought a long time ago
was this luxury vehicle life is expensive. In one thousand

(42:24):
dollars a month with insurance and all the other stuff.
Is what it's costing people now to have a new car.
That is that is up, But what is down is
the government. They're shut down. See what I said there.

Speaker 7 (42:35):
Sixteen days into the shutdown, more than four thousand workers
have been let go.

Speaker 1 (42:40):
Typically workers are furlough, not fired.

Speaker 7 (42:43):
But the President trying to pressure Democrats to back off
their healthcare demands, saying he will eliminate programs important to
them and.

Speaker 4 (42:50):
They're going to be terminated on a permanent basis. And
it's thousands of people, and it's you know, billions of dollars.

Speaker 7 (42:57):
Democrats holding firm on their healthcare demands to extend expiring
Obamacare subsidies.

Speaker 2 (43:03):
Is this about subsidies, Eh, yes, somewhat, But really this
is about power. The shutdown is about power. It's about
bringing you over to my side and empowering us so
we can go on and show the strength we have
and win next year and take back the house, et cetera,

(43:26):
et cetera, or the other way where we hold the
house and we grow our lead. This is about power
more than anything else. It's about the political parties, the
power they have. It's not about the people. Are the
subsidies a part of it, Yes, of course they are.
But the way they make the subsidies out And again

(43:47):
I sit here and I laugh at this, because government
got really involved. In college, and then college prices went
through the roof. Government got more involved with healthcare, and
then healthcare went through the roof. So you see where
we're going. I mean, it's a common denominator here. Government,

(44:08):
you're involved in stuff, and people are taking advantage of
the fact that you're willing to pay anything.

Speaker 19 (44:13):
For folks who are making their open enrollment decisions. Now,
shouldn't they have the ability to know what they're dealing with,
And shouldn't you do negotiations on Affordable care AC subsidies?

Speaker 11 (44:24):
Right?

Speaker 22 (44:24):
And if we can just open up the government, we
could do that. And I think that's really the order
alley that it needs to happen in. I mean, I
don't think taking the federal government hostage to try and
get this negotiation started is the right approach. I mean, honestly,
I think we have made it very plain we want
to fund the government. We won't have a normal appropriations process.

(44:45):
And yes, we are happy to sit down and talk
about a solution on the ACA tax credits, but that
needs to happen in a separate context away from having
the government open up.

Speaker 2 (44:57):
John thoom Right, he's the man, he's the captain, he's
the leader of the Senate, the powerful John Thune. This
is a thoone doggle. So he says, hey, man, if
you want to negotiate this, you got to open up
the government of those who can't. Oh you, So you
give us everything we've asked for and then we'll negotiate
later all that other stuff, which is a smart move

(45:19):
I understand, But how do I know you're going to negotiate.

Speaker 22 (45:21):
You don't when the enrollment period starts, which is November
the first. Yeah, people are going to start looking and
the insurance companies are putting rates out there, quotes out there,
and they're going to have to make some decisions about that.
I don't think you can do a if you do
a straight up extension of the ACA tax credits premium
tax credits. They are enhanced subsidies, so they are over

(45:43):
and above the base Obamacare program, which was available to
people up to four hundred percent of poverty. What the
Democrats did a couple of years ago as they took
the income cap off. So now you've got people that
are making five or six hundred thousand dollars a year
that are eligible for qualifying for and getting subsidies under
this program.

Speaker 2 (45:59):
Now, I would like to go, do you know those people?
Can you point one of them out, two of them out?
The way that they worked it is it went up
to four hundred percent. That was the cat because what
he's saying is they take a potential, small, tiny bit
and they make it the entire basis for their argument,
which is a that's what you do. It's politics. I
understand that. But the reality is somebody making five hundred

(46:21):
grand a year is not getting subsidies unless where they
live it's costing them ten grand a month, twenty grand
a month for their healthcare. I mean, at that point
in time, youmight as well just hire a doctor to
have to stay at your house all the time. But
that's all you have to say, right because there's never
any The follow up should have been, oh can you
prove that? Do you have that? I would like to

(46:41):
see that? Well, yeah, I mean they can't qualify, so
they can. You're not quite sure if nobody ever asked
any good freaking second questions. Oh furiating, here we are,
and it's not going to happen in you know where
they get this thing sorted out anytime soon. Mike Johnson,
Speaker of the House not a real name. Maybe it

(47:04):
is real name. Not quite sure. What did he have
to say about when this will end.

Speaker 23 (47:07):
I hope it ins soon. I don't think it will
end before the you know, hate America rally on the
on the mall on Saturday where they call the Marxist
and Antifa people and all the people who hate Trump
and hate America will be there after that, though, I
hope there's a couple of sensitive Democrats or sensible Democrats
who will come to their senses over in the Senate
and vote the right way, to do the right thing
that they have always done every time in the past

(47:30):
in their career. They need to do it now for
the people, for the American people.

Speaker 2 (47:34):
Oh okay, so no King's rally. By the way, we
touched on that a little bit. It's not just so frustrating.
We're gonna talk a little bit more about that, but
I do it's the I Hate America so funny. Oh
but remember this is Mike Johnson was up to him,

(47:54):
Lee Green, what would be doing the halftime show for
the Super Bowl? Oh goodness, how do we get here? Folks?
I'll tell you how, Because we only have two crappy
choices these are usually the way we look at the
way that we do this in politics. Now, this is
truly the best bad option, which is not good three two, three, five,

it is they do how through active being active investors
that they're always looking for buying loan, selling high which
sounds easy, but also maybe selling high because you can

(49:00):
make money going both ways. But the way that they
do it's just so much different because they look in
a global perspective when others just focus on the cookie

You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (49:52):
Is there peace in the Middle East? Will there ever
be peace in the Middle East? But right now we're
talking about Gaza, and we're talking about Israel versus Hamas.
Video coming out from Gaza.

Speaker 24 (50:06):
It's nasty video, verified by ABC News, appears to show
her Masslink government carrying out a public execution as they
return to the streets. Late today at the White House,
President Trump warning if ha Mass doesn't choose to disarm,
the US will make them.

Speaker 4 (50:23):
They've agreed to do it now, they have to do it,
and if they don't do it, we'll do it.

Speaker 24 (50:27):
Despite those alarming images, ha Mass insisting it will honor
the peace deal and return the dead hostages. According to
US advisors.

Speaker 2 (50:34):
I'll think that Israel probably cared that they were shooting
their own people. That's who they were supposedly executing, people
that were working with Israel, but of the resistance, I
guess against Hamas. Then it comes to the return of
the dead. And we have said this for a while.
You guys have listened to the show long enough to

(50:56):
know the chances of finding all of those bodies. It's
virtually impossible. Eighty five percent, eighty five percent of Gaza
is gone wiped out. Tunnels have been flooded and bombed
to hell. Where do you think most of those hostages were. Yeah,

(51:17):
so trying to get all of the remains or any
of the remains maybe virtually impossible at this point. And
I understand why the Israelis are pissed, but the reality is,
what are you going to do? It's a war area,
it's a war zone that has been destroyed, and most

(51:41):
people recognize there's only going to be so much they're
able to do.

Speaker 24 (51:46):
Now, we've had a statement from the Casan Brigades, this
is the military wing of Hamas, and worth noting that
they're still out there and still issuing statements saying that
they have basically handed over all the bodies that they
can reach at the moment, and they need international assistance
and tools to be able to locate the bodies of others.

Speaker 2 (52:07):
That's going to take a while. Now, Like I said,
do I think they're going to get everybody back? I don't.
Then here's the other side of this. I don't know
how many people underneath there that aren't the hostages are Palestinians.
Is it a few hundred, few thousand or hundreds of thousands?
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three.
It's your text line right here on the Chad Benson Show.

(52:30):
I think when all is said and done, the debt
toll on the Palestinian side will be closer to one
hundred plus thousand than what it is now. But when
you've got eighty five percent of the buildings destroyed underneath there,
how many are missing? Let me know what you think.

(52:51):
We move from the Middle East and the issues there
to Madagascar. Why Madagascar. I want you guys to pay
attention to this because there's a revolution that is a
Brewer and there's a certain group of people that are
leading it.

Speaker 25 (53:09):
From running battles on the streets of Madagascar. We've got
now challenging the police and the president to the city
squares of Morocco where almost every night crowds call on
the Prime minister there to step down. These are the
gen Z protests, spreading on social media, including gaming app Discord,

(53:32):
sweeping across multiple continents Africa, Asia and South America.

Speaker 2 (53:37):
That's right, he said, gen Z protests. They have led
this thing in Madagascar in a crazy fast way. They're
over it. They see corruption, they see the rich getting richer,
and they say we've had enough. And I bring that
up because we've got the big No Kings protest this week.
There are and by the way, it's not just against Trump. Well,

(54:01):
Trump was a part of the last Note King. Obviously,
they look at the system right now and think it's broken.
We were lied to. We've had enough. Three two, three, five,
four twenty three At Chad Benson Show's your extra Insta.
This is the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 11 (54:20):
An Chad Benson Show, The.

Speaker 1 (54:41):
Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (54:44):
Guess what we're looking like. We're going to be invading
Venezuela in some way, shape or form that'll be coming soon.
We're already blowing up boats with massive drug traffickers. I
don't think you're taking this serious. No, you're killing people,

(55:05):
you're not catching them. There's no due process. Frustrating. Well,
we should definitely figure out what's going on at the
Pentagon and ask some serious questions or or no, because
they want you to sign some sort of pledge. Hm,
oh yeah.

Speaker 9 (55:24):
It's deadline day for media outlets to sign the Pentagon's
new restrictive press access rules. It states that reporters cannot
solicit or report on any information The Department of Defense
does not authorize news organizations across the board, including CNN,
as you might imagine, rejected signing a pledge like that.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegsf called Pentagon press access a quote privilege,

(55:49):
not a right, and responded to outlets who aren't signing
it with a single waving hand emotion.

Speaker 2 (55:55):
And it's not a privilege, transparency, free speech, what our
government does. We're not talking about classified you can. This
is where this gets lost. This thing that he wants
everybody to sign it is ridiculous. You got to have
a badge. They already have that. If you're in the

(56:17):
press you can't roam anywhere. No, you can't do that.
You can't roam anywhere freely. That just doesn't happen. Well,
you can't publish these things, what things, anything that you
don't like. See, I think that's an issue right there,

(56:38):
anything you don't like. And I say this because we're
looking like we're going to go in not according by
the way. Luckily, Trump's like he can't keep a secret.
He just comes out, he goes, oh my god, I
think we should totally go in it just destroy Venezuela
because of the drugs, because of the drugs.

Speaker 3 (56:55):
Overnight, the Venezuelan government denouncing President Trump after he said
he was considering low strikes within Venezuela's borders to target
drug cartels.

Speaker 4 (57:04):
We are certainly looking at land now because we've got
to see very well under control.

Speaker 3 (57:08):
Trump now acknowledging he's authorized covert CIA action in the country,
escalating a campaign against Venezuela's authoritarian leader, Nicholas Maduro.

Speaker 2 (57:18):
See, that's why we don't have to worry right now
with the if it's not leaked, because Pete Hegseth texts
the wrong person. Remember that when he started. Trump's just
gonna come out and goes, I got a secret. I'm
not supposed to tell anybody. We're gonna try to kill
Maduro and we're gonna probably go in on land in
some way, shape or form and do some stuff in
Venezuela because of the drugs and whatnot. M M. Just

(57:42):
let you guys know. There's all these drugs and they're
coming over here and they're just killing everybody, and it's
just NonStop, just death, and just you're lucky because I
authorize these and save all these people.

Speaker 4 (57:53):
So everytime you see a boat and you feel badly,
you say, well that's rough. It is rough. But if
you lose three people and save twenty five thousand people,
these are people that are killing our population.

Speaker 2 (58:06):
How because of fentanol. No fentanyl comes from Venezuela. None,
very little cocaine probably less than five percent. So well,
so what do they do is their cocaine so amazing

(58:27):
as to kill a bunch of people. I'm just I'm
curious because next door to us, to the south, that's
the place, if you're serious, the place down south, Siniloa Cartel,
Gulf Cartel, Jalisco, New Generation Cartel, they're the ones ninety

(58:49):
plus percent comes from the South. Think about that ninety
plus percent. Oh well, it's not about drugs. Oil plays
a huge role in this precious, precious oil. Big donors,

(59:13):
big companies who fund the Republicans and the Democrats wouldn't
need be salt. Chavez come in, nationalize everything. Stop me.
If you've heard this before, go back to see what
happened to Iran when they decided to put the shaw
back in power. Because Iran said, the guy that was
duly elected said, you know what, I'm going to nationalize

(59:35):
all this stuff. And the Brits and the Americans like, well,
we got all our stuff there. We can't have that.
And by all our stuff we mean the oil. So
this is a perfect example of finding a group of
people trending Iragua. Horrible people. Nobody's here to say that
they're good people, they're wonderful. No, they're a prison gang,

(59:57):
they're small potatoes. But they're the perfect group of people
that you go and you're like, these are the people. Right.
So we've got our villain, and the villain has been
sent here by the villain which is moduro to kill Americans,

(01:00:18):
and so we should go out and definitely take him out.
That's what we're gonna do. We have to, we have to.

Speaker 4 (01:00:24):
We've almost totally stopped it by sea. Now we'll stop
it by land.

Speaker 2 (01:00:30):
Okay, I've been telling you guys this and everybody's like,
it's not gonna happen. How do you know, Well, because
maybe I have sources too who've been telling me this
for a long time. If you listen to our show
Mike Clients, every week we've been talking about it. He
keeps going, I don't know why people aren't talking more
about this. Well, now Trump's come out and said the
quiet part out loud. Now you're thinking, Chad, come on,

(01:00:54):
are you you thinking we're really going to do this? Oh,
we're doing this. This past weekend we had all kinds
of military on Trinidad and Tobago, both of them, which
is eight kilometers what's six miles five and a half

(01:01:15):
miles from Venezuela. He knows it's coming, which brings us
to this. There's a movie out and it just came out.
It is insane. So it was released September ninth by

(01:01:35):
Neon and you get in video on demand and it
follows Jordan Gaudreau, I think his name is who on
his own, with some shady characters, maybe associated with the
United States of America, maybe not, decided Hey, let's hire

(01:01:58):
this guy to invade Venezuela and overthrow it. Just this guy. Yeah,
he'll put together an army.

Speaker 26 (01:02:05):
Later in made twenty twenty, I was raided by the
FBI because I planned and executed an operation to invade
Venezuela in hopes of liberating thirty million people.

Speaker 2 (01:02:22):
How'd that go? No, sobueno, No cebueno. You mean it
didn't work. You mean you on your own And he's
a green bray, but he was going. He had it
set up. There was contracts in everything. Yes, I said
contract which is also fascinating.

Speaker 26 (01:02:40):
Everybody and their mom was trying to liberate Venezuela.

Speaker 2 (01:02:43):
Back then.

Speaker 5 (01:02:43):
We are in fighting for twenty three years.

Speaker 10 (01:02:48):
Jordan made statements that he was in direct contact with
people within the administration.

Speaker 5 (01:02:53):
Hold on, I'm Mike Pence.

Speaker 26 (01:02:56):
We discussed the nature of the operation and I was
going to change of governments in Venezuela.

Speaker 2 (01:03:05):
I had the military in place. All we needed to
do was coordinate. I figured, you know what, I'm good
to go. You're good to go, so A, You're good.
You got this. It's good. Where's gonna let you go?
And you're gonna go on in and you're gonna take
everything over. Fantastic. I want to see how this plays
itself out, because it feels like this is already a
solid plan, and you got a contract.

Speaker 26 (01:03:26):
Venezuela is an extremely resource rich country.

Speaker 5 (01:03:29):
Let's suppose that we are interested in that.

Speaker 2 (01:03:31):
It was the first business contract I ever signed. So
the contract was for two and twelve millions.

Speaker 5 (01:03:36):
It's paid for that.

Speaker 2 (01:03:38):
I didn't ask.

Speaker 5 (01:03:41):
There had been camps set up with training going on.

Speaker 26 (01:03:44):
I'm a man of my word, and if I say
I'm going to invade a country, that's typically what I do.

Speaker 20 (01:03:51):
There was no US government involvement in this operation.

Speaker 5 (01:03:54):
We'd have been involved, it would have gone differently.

Speaker 26 (01:03:56):
When those guys are in jail, it's like, I'm nice
in my heart.

Speaker 10 (01:03:58):
I don't know if we have one foot in reality
and one foot and delusion.

Speaker 5 (01:04:03):
We checked the eye and that was the red flying
after red flag.

Speaker 2 (01:04:06):
It wasn't in their best interest to delivery Venezuela. This is
like firefest the army.

Speaker 5 (01:04:10):
This had no chance of working.

Speaker 2 (01:04:13):
I was probably thinking they had no chance of working.
I was going to go out on the limb and say,
no real chance. Goodreau was in the Canadian Armed Forces.
Then he was a US Army Special Forces green beret,
and so don't think this went the way that he

(01:04:34):
thought it was going to go, just saying maybe we've
tried this before, but we're going to do it differently.
We're not going to do it covert with one guy
and a few guys who are goerrilla fighters. We're gonna
roll deep with Blackhawk helicopters and all kinds of stuff
like that, and let's see what happens. I thought there

(01:04:55):
was no war. I thought he was a peace guy.
This is different. The way he's coming at this is
remember demon Eyes, a group of people, they're all you know,
the drug dealers are all coming from there. Maduro's a
bad guy. Nobody's here to go. Who's a good guy. No,
he's a bad dude. He is. And there are plenty,

(01:05:15):
and I do mean plenty, of very convincing arguments of
his ties to big cartels, including Cartel de las Sols,
which is Cartel's of the Sun, which big right, other
groups like FARK. I mean so, but it's cocaine. There's
plenty of arguments for it. That big said, this is

(01:05:41):
really about the oil. Let's stop pretending there's something that
you guys want that's in the ground and you want
to protect. And it would be great if we open
up that because I've got the largest oil reserves on
the planet, bigger than Saudi Arabia. Plus next door you've
got Guyana who found a massive a massive amount of

(01:06:01):
oil both on their land and offshore, and you want
to protect that. So you're gonna use the They're coming
over here bringing fent andel, et cetera, et cetera. We
got to blow them up, kill them. They're not our co
terrorists as a way to go after him, when you
should be honest. Hey, look guys, this is the reality.
They got tons of oil. We want it. They're bad dudes.

(01:06:26):
They oppressed their people, and the closer they are to China,
the closer they are to Russia, the worse it is
for the world. And did I mention my donors really
want to make sure they get that oil, bubbling gold,
the bubbling crude. Would they say on the hillbillies, look
go over there, oh jebs a millionaire. It was it

(01:06:49):
was bubbling crude, liquid gold, that's right, okay. Just want
to make sure three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
four to twenty three Act Chad Benton Show, Is Her Acts,
Your Insta, You YouTube and more. Just a reminder we
are still not opened. The government still close. It's not opened,

(01:07:09):
not right right now, just quiet still closed. Probably won't
be reopened at the earliest until, as Mike Johnson said earlier,
after the I Hate America rallies this weekend and then
maybe next week they'll get back in and see if
they can open up the government. I don't know why

(01:07:30):
they call it the I Hate America Rallies three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show,
Is Your X, Your Insta, YouTube and more. Chapter speaking
know we talk all day about health care and stuff
like that, and the cost of health care. How about
this Medicare we all know could be a nightmare. My

(01:07:51):
mother in law, she found a plan, she liked, it
went for two years, and then they told her it's over.
She's frustrated. Started working with Chapter. They're incredible. So here's
what Chapter does. So many people who like their Medicare
plan and they think it's to be great and The next
thing you know what's gone and they know what to do,
is so what do they do? They call an agent.

(01:08:11):
Most agents do what they're gonna recommend plans to get
them bigger commissions. But they work with the government. That
is not what Chapter does. Chapter compares every Medicare plan nationwide.
All right, So the whole thing is to find the
best fit for you on average. You ready for this,
eleven hundred dollars a year or what seniors are saving
when they work with Chapter. How much does it cost? Free?

Speaker 7 (01:08:33):
What?

Speaker 2 (01:08:34):
Free? And here's the other thing. When you hook up
with them, I'm to tell you how to do that.
In a second. Guess what. Under twenty minutes, you're gonna
have all your options available for you from my mother
and Holm was like fifteen minutes. She was like, wow,
it's crazy. No gimmicks, just honest advice from experts who
know medicare inside out. Now, here's how you connect with them.
Go to your phone. Pound two fifty keyword Medicare plan.

(01:09:00):
Pound two fifty keyword Medicare plan. Medicare. It's too important,
don't risk it. Work with the partner that I trust,
that my family trust. It's Chapter to reach him dial
pound two fifty, say keyword medicare plan. This is the
Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (01:09:25):
Welcome to chest che No, not the country, the institution.
The Chat Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:09:32):
Normally we do our urban word of the day here,
but this story ties into it. We've already done this
urban word. But it is the phrase slash word, slash
numbers that your kid, your grandkid, even my little seven
year old laughs when I say this number, waiting for

(01:09:55):
another number to follow it, and she goes what And
I look at it and I say a six seven?

Speaker 10 (01:10:01):
What?

Speaker 27 (01:10:05):
Six seven? I mean kids can't get enough of and
teachers can't get away from.

Speaker 2 (01:10:11):
We are not saying the word six seven anymore.

Speaker 28 (01:10:14):
If you do, you have to write a sixty seven
word essay.

Speaker 27 (01:10:17):
Some schools even banning the phrasen classrooms.

Speaker 7 (01:10:20):
You are no longer allowed to shay what number do
you think I'm gonna say?

Speaker 27 (01:10:25):
Caitlyn Soriano is a seventh grade math teacher. How much
of you hearing and seeing six seven in your classroom
all day? Every day?

Speaker 29 (01:10:36):
It is non stop throughout my class, the hallways, the cafeterias.

Speaker 27 (01:10:41):
She says she banned the term last year after it
became distracting for students.

Speaker 1 (01:10:45):
But now she and other teachers are leaning in.

Speaker 27 (01:10:47):
And we hope that if it is embarrassing enough for
the adults to be doing it, that maybe they stop.

Speaker 2 (01:10:53):
Ah. Oh, okay, you know what. It's the Facebook effect.
The kids are on Facebook. Here comes the parents. The
kids are leaving. It's not cool anymore. What does it mean?
Nobody knows what it means. It means whatever you want
it to mean.

Speaker 27 (01:11:07):
But the experts we spoke to say the numbers really
don't mean anything.

Speaker 29 (01:11:12):
It's like slang to like make parents be like, what
does that mean?

Speaker 7 (01:11:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 27 (01:11:18):
Baby, It's just the latest example of slang through the years.

Speaker 29 (01:11:22):
Eat my short from the hippie generation where things were
groovy and far out to the nineties where everyone was asking, Wow.

Speaker 5 (01:11:33):
If you're wondering what the skivity is.

Speaker 27 (01:11:35):
Going on and how all this brain rot is getting
to us, you're not delulu.

Speaker 5 (01:11:41):
It's all pretty Ohio.

Speaker 27 (01:11:42):
But the kids, they just want us to let them cook.

Speaker 2 (01:11:46):
Now, I'm gonna tell you this. The difference between us
and some of the stuff that they do is we
knew what groovy was. We knew what cool was. De
Lulu means delusional. If you listen to the show. You
know we've on these things for them. Six seven means whatever.
I don't get it, but you know what, I'm not

(01:12:08):
supposed to because you know six seven, three, two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benz Shows,
your ext your Insta, YouTube and more right here on
The Chad Benson Show. Coming up, our number three of
the program, Religion and Politics, The Battle Is there, really

(01:12:28):
interesting stuff we're going to talk about that. We have
a bunch of other stuff including Yes, you know it,
I know it, we all know it, Number twelve and
the scary movie Countdown. Oh Baby. This one is grindy
and creepy and little bit violent and just entertaining. So
we'll be doing that as well. And I've got some

(01:12:49):
other good stuff including what's trending, plus a new poll
about inflation and if you're wondering why your heating costs
are going to go up, well we'll tell you that
as well. If you missing the show, sham on you
grab the podcast hour number three straight ahead, Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:13:33):
Life is getting more expensive. That's not according to me.
It's according to seventy of Americans. Seventy five percent of Americans,
according to the latest Harris poll, not the Chad Benson
Show poll, well that would be a good one too,
believe the economy is going in the wrong direction and

(01:13:56):
expenses are up big time. So Trump said he's gonna
come in. He's going to fix everything. Day one reduced prices.
That didn't happen. We understand that. What people are getting
frustrated with, though, according to the poll, is they're sick
and tired of him saying there is no inflation. We
beat inflation. It's over. They're getting frustrated with that, and

(01:14:19):
it doesn't. It's one of these things where when you
look at the poll, you're like, this is really a
representative poll here, compared to how you ask certain things.
You know that you can shape polls in certain ways.
Thirty four percent of Democrats say their prices have risen

(01:14:43):
from one hundred to two hundred and forty nine dollars
per month. Twenty nine percent of Republicans echo that, as
to twenty four percent of Democrats. It is almost even
all the way through up until five hundred to seven
hundred and forty dollars a month. The economy is the

(01:15:08):
winner winner in all of this. If you win the economy,
you win the midterms. You hold power. If you lose
the economy, you lose power and you lose the midterm.
That's the way this thing will play itself out. Talked
about it last hour. The average price for a new
car right now fifty two thousand dollars. That's MSRP. They'll

(01:15:35):
discount you to fifty sixty eight months. Average loan time
seven hundred and fifty dollars a month. Payment prices are
going up. People are feeling it. And it's not just
the Democrats going we're the only ones feeling it. Republicans
that go, we're feeling it too, and Independence's like, yeah,

(01:15:57):
we're all feeling it. All of us are feeling it.
We're about to feel it more too. We like to
get ahead of things. You guys know that we've been
saying if there is a chance that your city, your city,
your little municipality, your little neck of the woods is

(01:16:21):
thinking about adding any kind of data center. When it
comes to these giant data centers, especially for AI, you fight,
you kick, you do everything you can to stop it
because prices for heating costs are about to go boom.

Speaker 30 (01:16:41):
Now we've seen this big increase in demand from electric cars,
from appliances, and then the really significant culprit AI data centers.
They have become a hot button issue. They've seen candidates
from both political parties point to this issue, especially in Virginia,
which is home to data center Alley, and according to
a report from Bloomberg, electricity now costs two hundred and

(01:17:04):
sixty seven percent more in a month than it did
five years ago in areas that are located near significant
data center activities.

Speaker 2 (01:17:11):
And this is about to get worse. And here's the
other thing. So they go in and they take over
a large swath of an area, and the pitch it's
going to be jobs. You can agree all these things, Okay,
you know, look, we need the power, we need the
data center. I understand that. And now especially with AI.

(01:17:32):
What they don't tell you, though, is how much it's
going to become crazy expensive because they're never going to
tell you that. And they also don't tell you in
the fine print that let's just say it's one hundred
outside and everybody's running their air conditioner and they say, oh,
too much power is coming off the grid. Do they

(01:17:52):
shut the data center down? Nope, they shut you down
for a while, not the data center. They have essentially
hopped over you and have taken over in the hierarchy
of this. And it's about to get worse because his
AI gets better, and it does. I'm gonna play you
something right here. This is first of all hilarious. Secondly,

(01:18:19):
it sounds like him. It looks like him, and this
took about a minute to make. It's a rock with
a blade glued.

Speaker 4 (01:18:27):
On, pocket sized protection for the soul man, one hundred
percent natural.

Speaker 2 (01:18:30):
I call it the Stabstone.

Speaker 1 (01:18:32):
You want us to invest in a rock with a button,
And I saw a.

Speaker 5 (01:18:34):
Product that's evidence.

Speaker 2 (01:18:35):
In a crime that is a fake AI. Charles Manson
in the orange jumpsuit pitching shark Tank looks just like him,
sounds just like him with his stabstone. It was kind
of funny. And I bring that up because as we
talk about AI and not only what it's doing now

(01:18:56):
with all of the stuff that's Sora and wa On
and all these new not not j U a n
but but w An, all of these big things that
are the mid journey where you can do video and
everything in seconds, it's gonna take so much power, and
then you couple in this yesterday they decided over there

(01:19:23):
at Open Ai sam Altman, then hey, I guess it's
just time that we, you know, we announced kind of
where we're going to be going with some of this
stuff because their nerds and eventually sex was going to
play a role in the chat chathub.

Speaker 18 (01:19:41):
Sasha Howarth is executive director of Tech Oversight California, a
watchdog group that holds tech companies accountable.

Speaker 2 (01:19:50):
She's referring to this October fourteenth post.

Speaker 18 (01:19:52):
On X by Open Ai sam Altman, which began by
saying the company is being more restrictive for those dealing
with mental health issues, but then pivoting to plans to
loosen restrictions for adults, giving them access to more content,
including erotica. The surprising announcement coming a day after Governoring

(01:20:12):
used some veto to bill to ban companies from making
AI chat bots available to users under eighteen.

Speaker 2 (01:20:20):
So do you think power is going to go up
or down? Because I'm not trying to be mean, being
honest here, sex sells, even if it's in a different dimension.

Speaker 28 (01:20:33):
What's concerning is that this company has not proven that
they can't prevent a child from being able to access
that same thing. Tweeting doesn't make it true.

Speaker 18 (01:20:48):
Open ai has been under fire when it comes to safety,
with the company named in a lawsuit by a family
blaming chat GBT for their teenage son committing suicide, and
how Worth fears new erotica feature could create a downside
for users.

Speaker 28 (01:21:04):
The priority of these companies is to is to encourage
people to stay on their platform as long as possible.

Speaker 2 (01:21:17):
Well, that's every thing. I want you guys to listen
to me as long as possible. I know you can't,
but who doesn't want that. The damage, though, is to
me I look at this. First of all, they're not
the moral police. We'll talk about that a second. Secondly,
the damage I think is going to be done, and
this has already been done. Once the Internet came and

(01:21:38):
porn was available, it exploded and it's and the damage
it's done to young men in this country, the damage
it's done in the dating world. You know, once it
was there, was there. And I'm just talking I'm not
talking about the battle of politics or that stuff. I'm
just talking about this in particular. But at the same time,

(01:22:01):
the other damage that's gonna be done is the amount
of power it is going to take to keep these
things going. The damage to your wallap will also be huge,
and we can't say what we're not gonna do it
because we have to. At the same time, we better

(01:22:22):
figure out how to make it so it's affordable and
Grandma down the street in the winter or summer doesn't
have to put on eight jackets or go to the
library because they shut her power off. So the AI center,
the data center, could keep running.

Speaker 18 (01:22:41):
The National Center of Sexual Exploitation is also calling on
open ai to reverse its decision on adding erotica content,
saying sexualized AI chat boss are inherently risky generating real
mental health harms from synthetic intimacy, all in the context
of poorly defined industry safety standards.

Speaker 5 (01:23:03):
Today.

Speaker 18 (01:23:04):
Altman says they are not loosening any policies related to
mental health and that miners need significant protection with the chatbot,
but he also says open ai is not the.

Speaker 5 (01:23:15):
Moral police of the world.

Speaker 18 (01:23:17):
Some tech experts say they are not surprised by the
company's pivot.

Speaker 17 (01:23:21):
This is an industry they want to make money, and
they don't want to close down any potential stream of revenue,
and I'm sure they think Erotica is a stringent stream
of revenue.

Speaker 5 (01:23:28):
I mean historically it has been for many industries.

Speaker 18 (01:23:31):
Open Ai plans to roll out these changes in December.
We reached out to the company to get more clarification
and have yet to hear back.

Speaker 2 (01:23:39):
They're going to roll it out because it's it's going
to be massive for them. It is going to be
huge for them. They understand that, they do. They get it.
So it's about to get more expensive and weird, which
is not good. What I'm trying to say three two, three, five,

(01:24:02):
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chadminton Show
is your ex your Insta, your YouTube, your Facebook and more.
A lot of stuff still to get to this hour.
We did a little bit about religion. I wanted to
get to religion and politics. It's just it was so
much stuff. So maybe we'll hit that up in a
little bit. We're also want to talk about the GOP,

(01:24:24):
the Young Republicans, the people that are trying to make
excuses for their horrific twenty eight thousand pages of text
messages or entries or whatever you call it into telegram
that were racist, sexist, anti semitic, just awful. We're gonna
talk about that as well. But first, Raycon best earbuds around.
Love my Raycons. I wear them every single day, and

(01:24:48):
the reason is simple. I work in audio and i
do love the world of audio still and I've got
to have something in my ears because I'm always doing
something and these things make it so doesn't hurt my ears.
There's no stems, there's no wires. Eight hours of talk time,
thirty two hours of battery life, and for as much
as I wear them, guess what it is great to
know that every ten minutes I charge, I get ninety

(01:25:10):
minutes of listening power. Now. The style is super cool.
The classic earbuds from Raycon are amazing and with their
anniversary going on right now, three million happy customers. By
the way, twenty percent off right now for the everyday
classic earbuds. These things are awesome to make great Christmas present.
They make great Christmas presents for you, for me, for everybody.

(01:25:32):
If you like audio, baby, this is it at a
price that will not break the bank. This is what
I want you to do. Go to buy Raycon dot
com slash chat. You're gonna save twenty percent, get yourself
a cool pair mint. Maybe they got this mint that
I dig I guess so many awesome things. But on
top of that, know that you have a thirty day
happiness guarantee. So if you're not happy, you send them
back at your money back, no questions asked, but you're

(01:25:54):
gonna be happy. Oh yeah, Go to buy Raycon dot
com slash chat and save twenty percent now and the
classic ear butts from Raycon. Bye Raycon dot Com slash Chad.
What's trending is coming? Straight up? And then talk a
little bit about the GOP and their fail when it
comes to the text message scandal, and yes, number twelve

(01:26:14):
in our scary movie countdown. This is the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (01:26:28):
You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:26:30):
Now it's time to find out what's trending? What's trending?

Speaker 31 (01:26:35):
James Dean, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Sir, what truping?

Speaker 5 (01:27:00):
In's find?

Speaker 2 (01:27:00):
I was trending on the interwebs on this most festive Thursday.
It's a really festive eh fairly. I like Thursdays one
of my favorite days. Letting you guys know that. Start
with Yahoo. Thanks trending on Yahoo Time magazine cover the
Worst of Old Time. It's pretty funny. It really is.
The fact that they're talking about this and he is

(01:27:20):
upset about it is also hilarious. Dan Keaton caused a
death pneumonia cost the living adjustment. Joe Burrow, Speaker of
the House, leave it to Beaver. Apparently sixty eight years
ago this week there was a big broken TV rule
that had to do with the bathroom. Hey Beef, what
you doing in there? Gosh nothing, leave me alone?

Speaker 27 (01:27:42):
Huh.

Speaker 2 (01:27:43):
I don't think that's what happened. Over to Google YouTube.
Was it down? I don't know. I was playing pickaball
Candice Swan a pole. I probably said that wrong. Yesterday
was the Victorious Secrets fashion. I think they're back in
fashion again, if you know what I mean. No twigs

(01:28:03):
and berries and those in that lingerie American flag. Capitol
police were called to investigate a schwashed in a GOP
congressional office, which is insane. Rep. Dave Taylor, Ohio Republican.

(01:28:23):
There was a so it's on the board and it's
just one of those little flags that's like at the plastic,
you know, pole that holds it up. Maybe ten inches long,
but you can see that it's been altered and it's
the red, white and blue, but there's a swastika right
in the middle of it. It's not a good look,
especially after the texting issues with the Republicans, which is

(01:28:44):
also trending. Scotus is also trending with the Voting Rights Act,
Kim Kardashian talking about her marriage to Kanye which is
also very interesting. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
four to twenty three acts. Had Benson shows your ex,
your Insta, YouTube, Facebook, and everything else right here on
the Chad Benson Show. Some of the other things trending

(01:29:09):
on the old Ax Pentagon, Arientina, young Republicans, no Kings,
no Kings, Kanye Supreme Court, Jay Jones, He's the ag
from Virginia, at least the candidate to be ag the
Pentagon people. Or was that trending because Pete Hegseith is

(01:29:31):
an idiot. So if you guys haven't heard, I'm gonna
give this to you snapshot real quick. They tried to
make all of the news organizations, the media sign this
giant twenty page thing that is so insane, essentially saying

(01:29:53):
you can't report on anything that we don't allow you
to report on. You have to have a badge. They
all have to I have a badge. Anyways, you can't
wander wherever you want. Ask anybody who's ever been or
worked at the Pentagon. But a couple buddies who've covered
it said, such bs you could go by the way,
they said, if you do the White House compared to

(01:30:15):
the Pentagon, you can pretty much wander just about anywhere
in the White House compared to the Pentagon. But this
is Pete's way of saying, I don't want everybody to
find out how bad this is here, and only one
American News signed the pledge. Everybody else Fox Washington, you know, Examiner,
everybody who is on even the right side of the

(01:30:37):
aisle said no, we're not signing this. Three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four, twenty three at Chadvented show, is Your ex
your Insta, YouTube and more coming up. A lot of
good stuff still to get it to, including number twelve
today a scary movie Countdown. You listen to the show,
grab the podcast, chet Vented, Joe.

Speaker 32 (01:30:59):
Fun Chat, Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show, Shame Shame

(01:31:24):
talking about the government, shame on you for not being open.

Speaker 2 (01:31:27):
Shame on you for not doing your job. Shame, shame, shame.
Are they coming back to work soon? No, at least
not this week.

Speaker 7 (01:31:35):
President has authorized extraordinary measures to pay the troops and
today said the FBI will get paid too.

Speaker 5 (01:31:41):
We are the people that we want to pay, babe.

Speaker 7 (01:31:43):
But workers like air traffic controllers charge with keeping passenger
planes safe are out of luck.

Speaker 33 (01:31:49):
Not knowing exactly how I'm going to have childcare for
my kids, or put gas in the car, or pay
the next mortgage payment adds a certain level of stress
onto an already stressful profession.

Speaker 11 (01:32:01):
It's just very difficult.

Speaker 2 (01:32:03):
Well, you weren't one of the people that Trump wanted
to get paid. So there the smart thing though, at
the military, especially if you're going to ask them to
invade Venezuela, I got to make sure they get paid.
Now how long this lasts. We talked to Mike Liones
the other day, our military guy. He said that he
thinks they can get through one pay period, but probably

(01:32:24):
no more than that. So we're going to see. Now
this weekend there is a no King's Rally. You guys
know what that is. So this is one of those
rallies where they get together and apparently hate America is
what I've been told according to Mike Johnson. I hope

(01:32:47):
it ends soon.

Speaker 23 (01:32:48):
I don't think it will end before the you know,
hate America rally on the on the mall on Saturday
where they call the Marxist and Antifa people and all
the people who hate Trump and hate America will be
there after that, though. I hope there's a couple sensitive
Democrats or sensible Democrats who will come to their senses
or in the Senate and vote the right way, to
do the right thing that they have always done every
time in the past in their career. They need to

(01:33:10):
do it now for the people, for the American people.

Speaker 2 (01:33:13):
Okay, no, King's rallies, not the hate America power. But
there's some people out there that probably hate Western world
and the culture, and some who may be I some
of it's about authoritarianism, and a lot of it's about
capitalism run amok, with the government and the oligarics and

(01:33:33):
the tech garks all getting together and controlling everything and
everybody else essentially getting crumbs. So there's a lot that
goes into it, and some of it's just a party
and a lot of them are whackadoos. That being said,
the beauty of America as we allow wackadoos to have
their voice. It's a good thing. It is a good
thing because we cherish that in this country. We cherish

(01:33:54):
our freedoms, We cherish the fact that we can stand
up and say, I disagree with your policies. What you said,
I love that I do. This was funny, Chris Cuomo.
They did a big thing last night on News Nation
and Chris Cuomo was asked about are congress men and

(01:34:15):
women getting paid and when everybody else isn't getting paid.
This is what he had to say.

Speaker 34 (01:34:21):
So I'll give you the answer that is the right answer,
and then I'll give you the viral answer. The right
answer is they are not discretionary funding. They're mandatory funding
through the constitution. That's why they get paid. And it
is stup that members of Congress get paid when they
refuse to work. It's definisu change.

Speaker 2 (01:34:42):
I totally agree. In fact, I think Congress should be
paid a part time wage for a part time job
where you live and work in your city seventy five
eighty percent of the time, and you go out to
DC just a couple times a month. But that's me.
I'm different. But he's right. They shouldn't get paid now.

(01:35:04):
Some of them, by the way, have turned down their checks.
Here's the thing, though, how many of them are really
living paycheck to paycheck? Probably not a lot. We moved
from there to the disappointment that I find in the
reaction to the if you want to call it, the
scandal of the leaks that came out from the telegram

(01:35:25):
messages in the Young Republicans group across several states that
are beyond file, and the reaction by leaders in the
Republican Party who want to just kind of dismiss it
as it's just a bunch of young kids. They're not.

(01:35:49):
They're not college kids, young kids. They're part of a
group that's supposed to be the future of the Republican Party.
Several of them work in or did politics at the
state level. One of them worked for the US Small
Business Administration in Trump's administration. I don't think Trump ever

(01:36:13):
met the guy, but I'm just saying the things they
say are vile and horrible. They're not college kids. Some
of them may be, but on average they're in their
thirties and early forties. And what they said was vile.

Speaker 14 (01:36:30):
Political published their report today under the headline I Love
Hitler Leaked messages expose Young Republicans racist chat political reports.
Leaders of young Republican groups throughout the country worried what
would happen if their telegram chat ever got leaked, but
they kept typing anyway. They referred to black people as

(01:36:51):
monkeys and the watermelon people, and mused about putting their
political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their
enemies and driving them to suicide, and lauded Republicans who
believe who they believed support slavery. The exchange is part
of a trove of telegram chats obtained by Politico and

(01:37:14):
spanning more than seven months of messages among young Republican
leaders in New York, Kansas, Arizona, and Vermont. The chat
offers an unfiltered look at how a new generation of
GOP activists talk when they think no one is listening, and.

Speaker 2 (01:37:33):
That's where the real you is. But nobody's listening, but
nobody's watching. That's where the real view is. A joke.
People make jokes. Sometimes there nasty, sometimes there not funny.
Sometimes we lose the context because it's in text, but

(01:37:56):
it's not twenty eight thousand plus plus plus plus fifteen
thousand members by the way, between eighteen and forty plus.
And the things that they said were diabolical. We're freaking awful,
We're disgusting, We're vile. And just as bad, in my opinion,

(01:38:19):
is the reaction to it from Tim Poole saying, ah,
there's just a bunch of college kids. That Matt Wall
saying the same thing, and JD. Vans and all of
them also pointing out that this stuff's not that bad.
It's a Joe Jay Jones, the candidate to be age
in Virginia. Look at the horrible things. He said, Yeah,

(01:38:41):
they're awful. They're horrible. We talked about it. It's vile
and disgusting. Wanting to see when he was a rep
at the state level, the then Speaker of the House,
wanting to see him and his family get killed, his
kids get killed, so he could advance some sort of
agenda for gun control, because that's the only time when

(01:39:05):
you experience something that you would do something like that,
And then also comparing him to Polepot and Hitler and said,
if he was in a room and he had two bullets.
That guy gets it. Yeah, that's violent, disgusting. It doesn't
make what these guys said.

Speaker 5 (01:39:20):
Better.

Speaker 2 (01:39:21):
Stop trying to give your side a pass for being
an ass. Stop trying to give your side the benefit
of the doubt is they were just kids joking, so
it's no big deal. This guy did something worse wrong.
Both did horrible things. Both can be true, but what

(01:39:47):
makes it worse is people try to defend either side
of their aisle because well, that's what you have to
do in today's world, and that's bs. Hold your side
account a ble for bad actions. Three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chadminton Show, Is your

Speaker 35 (01:41:45):
As we wrap up this wonderful Thursday, we get to
number twelve in our Scary Movie count. Dennis we march
to number one today, directing debut by a rock star
MM guy named Rob Zombie.

Speaker 2 (01:42:05):
Fitting name. And this movie is a throwback. It is grindhouse.
It's got this seventies Texas chainsaw massacre feel. It is
so awesome, funny, action, violence, gory, jump scares. Did I

(01:42:28):
mention violent? There's some violence in this. It's just one
of my favorite movies. It is so cool. Are you
ready for it? I know you are. Well, then what
are we doing? Let's get at it.

Speaker 16 (01:42:41):
The time has come, so prepare yourself for a journey
of fear from the darkest corner of cinema, the most
bone chilling tales ever told.

Speaker 2 (01:42:53):
It's the countdown you've been waiting for.

Speaker 16 (01:42:56):
Which movie will take the top spot? A fish tail
so big because the Jaws opened wide? Or the story
of a young innocent girl battling evil with some help.

Speaker 13 (01:43:14):
Well, then let's introduce ourselves. I'm Damien Kars and I'm that.

Speaker 27 (01:43:17):
Devil by you ready?

Speaker 2 (01:43:19):
Number twelve? All right? Number twelve today comes to us
from a man who is a rock star it's the
first movie he did. His name is Rob Zombie. This
was his debut film, House of a Thousand Corpses. Oh,
that already sounds gross and weird. It is. It is incredible.

(01:43:40):
It's Park Texas Chainsaw Massacre, It's grindhouse, it's splatter. It's
got that seventies kind of weird feel. There's no doubt
about it. This movie is entertaining, funny, but it's also violent.
It's got some creepy ass scares in it. I'm not
gonna pretend there isn't an there's a legend that goes

(01:44:01):
along with the whole thing.

Speaker 13 (01:44:05):
Like blood, violence and fricks of nature.

Speaker 2 (01:44:10):
That's not Hitchhiker.

Speaker 1 (01:44:12):
What should we stop?

Speaker 2 (01:44:13):
Can't think right here in the rain?

Speaker 5 (01:44:15):
Always think about the legend of Doctor Satan.

Speaker 27 (01:44:17):
Yeah, yeah, you ain't seen nothing yet.

Speaker 5 (01:44:25):
Have you seen this girl?

Speaker 34 (01:44:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:44:26):
They won't play Nancy Drew.

Speaker 1 (01:44:27):
This local legend people called doctor Satan's.

Speaker 13 (01:44:29):
Stupid kids probably got themselves a loss.

Speaker 5 (01:44:32):
That's got this nuthouse.

Speaker 2 (01:44:35):
The Bookieyman is repeal and you found.

Speaker 11 (01:44:39):
Him shut.

Speaker 1 (01:44:46):
Hope you like what you see?

Speaker 2 (01:44:50):
Oh, it is so awesome. Starts a whole bunch of
folks that really had great careers and some of them
just kind of getting started. Gerry Moon Zombie is one
of the stars. She plays Baby Bill Mosley plays otisby Driftwood,
Karen Black, the great actress of the seventies and a
bunch of horror movies. She plays Mother Firefly That's the Family.

(01:45:12):
And Sid Hag plays Captain Spalding and he is awesome now.

Speaker 13 (01:45:20):
One of our local heroes es Quinton quail Akaa, Doctor Satan,
murderer torture, the most of all nastic surgeon mister Quail's
an intern a Willows County mental hospital nicknamed whippin Willows

(01:45:40):
for the never ending cries of Cain through primitive brain
surgery agies, mister Quayle believed that he could create a
race of superhumanous, mentally ill chilanded. Justice prevailed that took
his ass out and hung him, and that.

Speaker 20 (01:45:58):
Infamous ngand tree is no more in a stone throw
away from where y'all's ass is now seated.

Speaker 13 (01:46:07):
The next day his body was found to be missing.
Until today, no trace Doctor Satan has ever been discovered,
but the new news maybe he lives next door to you.

Speaker 2 (01:46:25):
Oh just Sid Hagg is amazing in this the movie
set like the seventies, and these kids are on their venture,
right this young couple Rain Wilson one of them, Chris
Hardwick who is another one of them in this and
you'll recognize them. They go on this like adventure across
the country and they've got the map to go look

(01:46:47):
at all the weird creepy things, and this is one
of the things that they want to go look at.
It's raining this weird little amusement park. Think of a
seventies BUCkies but with horror if you've never been to
a BUCkies, and it's just amazing. And then they pick
up Sherry Moon Zombie, who happens to be baby of
the Firefly family. And the Firefly family, well, they're just

(01:47:10):
the worst, evil, bad, chaotic. Think of when you see
the movie, how dark it is and the creepiness of
it and the feel of it with the atmosphere, it's
like something you can't even imagine. You've got to go
to something like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, except with quite
frankly more personality. Rob Zombie did the movie, and when

(01:47:32):
he did, he held a screening as you do for
all of the big wigs, and let's just say they
weren't thrilled.

Speaker 21 (01:47:38):
So I made the movie with the Universal Studios, made
our test screening, which I thought when I thought went great,
and the head of Universal at the time came up.

Speaker 2 (01:47:47):
And was like, we have to talk tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (01:47:49):
I was like, oh man, that was not a good tone.

Speaker 21 (01:47:52):
So the next day they dumped the movie and you know,
just basically booted us out.

Speaker 2 (01:47:56):
And then what was the conversation.

Speaker 21 (01:47:58):
They were like, we this is unreleasable. I don't remember
word for word, but that was the conversation in a nutshell.

Speaker 2 (01:48:06):
But it got released. It did quite well, and it
spawned two other movies based around the Firefly family. One
was called The Devil's Rejects and the other was called
Three from Hell. The movie is gritty. It is horror
esque in every way, especially if you like those seventies
kind of It looks kind of really real, and it's

(01:48:27):
got some great jump scares, it's got some monster like
things in there, and it's got great legends along with humor.
I love this movie for what it was and what
it is. It's fun and it's scary, and it gives
you the Gordon blood, especially at this time of the year.
If you like scary movies, our number twelve house of
one thousand courses three, two, three, five, three, eight, twenty

(01:48:47):
four to twenty three at Chad Benson Shows, your ex
your Insta, YouTube, and more. If you've got any suggestions,
let us know. We love hearing from you right here
on the Chad Benson Show. Now, that was a fun
day of I love that. We'll have number eleven tomorrow
in the Scary movie count. And again, if you want
to participate, we're still taking some submissions. I've got a
bunch of movies to watch this weekend. Feel free to

going on potentially with Venezuela. When will we will? We

Government shutdown with more of that tomorrow as well. Reach
out to us across all our social media. Will be
live tonight right around seven o'clock Eastern. If you have

(01:49:30):
a chance to jump in on the program, we would

a blast. Rest of your whole on a second. I
see you Friday. Rest of your Thursday. We'll do it again.
Tomorrow's always good Night, night Jack.
