Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chat Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Well well well, well, well I'm gone for a few
days and they try to fix Ukraine in Russia. Don't
think it's happening. We'll talk about that Iron Declaire's war
kind of on everybody. And then of course you've got
the usual stuff, the economy, the weather, what's happening everybody.
Hope you had a good few days and a merry Christmas.
I'm going to be here today tomorrow, then off Wednesday, Thursday,
(00:37):
Friday again, and then back to start the twenty twenty
six year in earnest next Monday. Let's start with yesterday Ukraine.
Zelenski was here as they try to figure this thing
out between the Pooter and Zelensky, because that's kind of
what it's become.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
Trump meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky and mar A Lago
after an hour's long phone call with Vladimir Putin.
Speaker 4 (01:01):
We just gossed a lot of points, and I do
think we're getting a lot closer.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
Zelenski bringing with him a proposed twenty point piece plan
which includes stronger security guarantees and a major concession to
the Russians, a demilitarized buffer zone in the contested Donbas
region of Ukraine.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
Do I think this is going to work. If Pooter
wants it to work, it'll work. Because this is all
about the Pooter at this point in time. I just
want everybody understand that this has nothing to do with Trump.
Speaker 5 (01:32):
Right.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
He thought he was going to I think his friendship
that he thought a relationship, whatever the hell it was
with the Pooter, was going to get him into a
better situation, and it hasn't. Trump wants a victory, so
he's willing, I think, to sacrifice somewhat Ukraine for that,
and you know, see them have some sovereignty left at
(01:55):
that point in time. Though he also sees opportunities for
people to make money with the rebuilding of Ukraine and
the energy and whatnot.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Trump insisting Putin is ready for peace. Yet over the weekend,
Russia launched one of its biggest attacks on Ukraine in months,
killing two people, wounding dozens more, and leaving families without
electricity freezing in the cold.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Yeah, he dropped the hammer over the Christmas break and
it was nasty. Again, this is all up to the Pooter.
We're going to talk to our buddy Mike Leins tomorrow
about this. But this has very little to do with
these two guys outside of signing off on it. And
I know some people are like, no, you don't even understand.
It's forty chas or whatever they want to say. The
reality is that this is about the pooter, and he
(02:42):
has made it absolutely known to everybody. At this point
in time, He's gonna get everything he wants or else.
That's it, everything he wants. Trump's not looking at this
as a win for He's looking at this as a
victory for him. Look, I stopped this thing, which would
(03:04):
never have happened ever if it wasn't, you know, if
I was president. He's gonna look at it like that.
The second thing he's gonna look at it is is
not only does he want to win, but the opportunities,
like I said earlier, for the rebuild, for the rebuild,
he gets it. Let's not pretend that there's anything other
than business.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
I really believe we're probably missed a president closer than
by far closer than ever before.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
With both parties.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
We had sometimes when he was close and President Putin wasn't,
They would have President Putin was close and he wasn't.
You said that in the White House, But I think
they both want to see it happen.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
They would like to see it happen. Putin would like
to see him get everything he wants, and their hatred
of each other and Zelensky to go away, and Zelensky
would like to see the exact same thing in Ukraine's favorite.
It not happening the way that Ukraine wants. There is
no reason for the Pewter to stop. So she's gonna
(04:09):
give to you a straight out. He has all of
the cards. He has every card that you could think of,
and he can play them how he sees fit. It's
that simple. The question is should this take place? Should
they agree on something, which they'll find something to not
agree on. But if they were when.
Speaker 6 (04:29):
You said this morning, you weren't a deadline guy, how
long do you think it'll take to get this last
little bit as you say finished?
Speaker 1 (04:34):
What are we talking?
Speaker 4 (04:35):
So if it went really well, you know, maybe a
few weeks, and if it went poorly longer and it
went really poorly, it's not gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
That'll be a shame, would be a shame. But I
think that's the reality. Powter has no reason too at
this moment in time, I would love to see it
come to an end. I think we all would at
this moment in time, though, why should he stop? What's
in it for him? He wants everything, and he'll find
(05:04):
a reason one or two of these things. I don't
like that, or I don't like this. This is what happened.
And by the way, who's standing there, all those giant
war machine moneymakers printing money? Oh, you need more stuff, sir,
let us get you some more stuff.
Speaker 7 (05:18):
Our teams will continue working on all aspects. Wells who
had a joint productive call with European leaders like Bresident
Trump said already and a lot of leaders including NATO NDU,
and we agree that our teams will meet in upcoming weeks.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
So we shall say. I would love to see it
come to an end. The amount of death Ukraine's getting hammered.
At some point in time, They're going to have to
raise the flag. They did all that they could, but
there is no reason for Pooter to stop, because there
is nobody giving him a reason to stop. We're not
giving them the tomahawks, we're not giving them things that
(05:55):
would make it offensive rather than defensive, and at this
point in time, they're just getting crushed. We moved from
there to the Middle East, where apparently, and I said this, guys,
do not think for a second that we're not going
to revisit Iran at some point in time. And the
net Yahoo coming to town yet again. Talk about a
(06:18):
lot of things, Gaza being one of them.
Speaker 8 (06:20):
They want to get to phase two, which is beginning
a rebuilding of Gaza, establishing an actual non Hamask government
inside of Gaza. And Israel continues to engage in military
attacks on what it says are our Hamas targets in Gaza.
This is something that the administration has made it quite
(06:40):
clear that they're not happy about.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
No, no, they're not. And we've asked this to our
military guy Mike Leins numerous occasions. One of the things
that was supposed to happen in this was what Turkey,
potentially you, a Qatar, several others were supposed to send
forces to go in there, like peacekeeping forces, and that
(07:08):
way they could break up the militias and Gaza as
well as Hamas and start to keep the peace. But
that isn't happening. There's nowhere, there's none of them to
be found anywhere, none of them to be found anywhere,
and then of course, like I said earlier on over
(07:28):
the weekends, like hey, everybody's coming after us because we
are not done with them, and we're getting ready to
go after him again. You could sense it. That's another
reason the Bebe's coming here, not Beaver, but Nean Yahoo,
because he's like, hey, they're doing their thing again. We
better get ready.
Speaker 9 (07:47):
Miran's President Quota is saying, we are in a full
scale war with America, Israel, and Europe. They do not
want our country to stand on its feet. And this
is notable for a couple of reasons. Certainly the timing.
It comes just before Prime Minister Yahoo is set to
meet with President Trump. So as this meeting nears and
the new year approaches, it is certainly clear that tensions
remain high in the region.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
Yeah, you're you're gonna feel it sooner rather than later.
So let you guys know that we're not done with them,
so we could be going. So we're bombing the hell
out of Somalia. We bombed Isis in Nigeria maybe kind
of sort of because we're not quite sure because the
region we bombed, the people there said there's no iceis here,
(08:30):
so we're not quite sure. About that. Apparently earlier something
happened in Venezuela, of which I am. You know, you
got to look at the reports. I I that exactly
what that's all about. The presidents said a big facility
was struck. My assumption is that would mean on land.
But you've got to figure out exactly what that means.
(08:54):
And then you go from there and you're thinking, all right, Venezuela, Iran, Gaza, Nigeria.
It feels like a lot going on. It does. And
while all that's happeneding, it's the holiday season and people
trying to figure out did we spend too much? Did
we not spend enough? How's the economies it holding up?
(09:17):
Because the end of the day, the number one thing
for you and I is still here in America and
the economy.
Speaker 10 (09:21):
New data from MasterCard shows spending in November and December
is up three point nine percent from last year. Shoppers
spending more on clothes, jewelry and at restaurants, even as
they feel the strain of stubbornly high prices.
Speaker 6 (09:34):
I just want a seven dollars coffee.
Speaker 11 (09:35):
The inflation has been fairly ridiculous. It hasn't stopped rising,
while gas prices are down. The latest inflation report shows
overall prices are up two point seven percent from last.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Year, which is a little hotter. But again, how much
of that data do you believe or don't believe that?
I don't know, And then you've got to ask yourself. Okay,
so we're looking at the the stuff. That's as far
as money being spent, But who's spending the money is
a big deal.
Speaker 12 (10:07):
There is a growing divide among consumers. Moody's Analytics says
the top ten percent of households by income account for
almost half of all spending in the economy.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
That right, there is a big deal. It's that case
shaped to conomon we've talked about this administration is you know,
people look at the economy and Wall Street and Main
Street are not the same thing, and they're further part
than ever before. So when you look at Wall Street
and you look at Main Street, what you're seeing is
(10:39):
the boomers are outspending the money. They're enjoying themselves. The
net worth folks, right, because if you're broke ash, you
don't have a net worth. You've got a net worth,
usually have some money. You're spending the money, not the
average person. And I heard a lot of that this year,
but we're going to find out. I'm sure we've got
some poll to talk about, polls, shape poles, a bunch
(11:02):
of other interesting stuff to get to again tomorrow here
and then we're off for a few days to get
ready for the new year, new revamped fun show, a
lot of different things we're doing in the new year
as well. So I hope you guys had a good Christmas.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
It is the holiday season. People are still traveling, and
as you know, the weather does weather he things. Now
it's time for the Chad Action News Weather Reports. When
weather weathers, we weather the storm, and we are weathering
the storms everywhere. Out to the Chad Show team to
(13:35):
find out what's happening weatherwise.
Speaker 5 (13:38):
Headaches for travelers as millions are traveling for the holidays.
Ron Dow's been trying to get to Hawaii from Boston Logan.
Speaker 13 (13:48):
They canceled the flight to JFK, which, of course we
missed our connecting.
Speaker 5 (13:52):
Flight down Wire's Saturday brought delays and cancelations to Amtrak's
busy Northeast Corridor line. California has been dealing with relentless
rain for days, leaving neighborhoods caked in mud and the
threat of more mudslides.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Weather is weathering the weather. For sure. It is nasty
out there. I'm just telling you guys that you should
know that it's nasty out there. So whether you're in
the Midwest, whether you're in the West, whether you're in
the northeast and now parts of the southeast, is just nasty, right.
It's a cyclone bomb. It's what they call it, a
cyclone bomb. It's it's a weather storm bomb of cyclony.
(14:31):
Just I don't even know what they call it. None
of it's a cyclone. It's just it's ugly. It's the
best way to describe it. It is thirty yesterday. We
got to like seventy four to seventy five, and I
will tell you right now, it is thirty two degrees outside,
thirty two freaking degrees outdoors. My son got here just
in time, so he came from San Diego, where the
(14:52):
weather was nasty. He had a tree in the backyard
that they not him, but the family before him, had
planted forty two years ago, and the storm ripped it
straight out the ground.
Speaker 5 (15:04):
Treacherous driving conditions in the Midwest, drivers struggling to stay
on the road amid heavy snow and howling winds near
clear Lake, Iowa, close to the Minnesota border, winds gusting
up to fifty miles an hour. Abandoned and damaged vehicles
littering roadways. That system now headed to the northeast, which
(15:25):
is already digging out from the biggest snowstorm parts of.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
The area have seen in nearly four years.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
Ugly, nasty, cold, af that's what we're telling you, guys.
Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to twenty
three at chat, Benson shows your acts, your Insta, your YouTube,

It's going to be wet, it's going to be snowy.
It is going to be a nightmare. So if you're
traveling for the new year, be prepared for potential delays.
Is what we're trying to tell you. Okay, we were
watching out for It's what we do here. Yesterday, by
the way, well the football games are going on and
all the stuff was happening. You know what was going on.
(16:16):
It was Good Riddence Day in New York City Times Square.
Good riddance you say, to what to all the stuff
that drove you crazy, the bad memories, all of those things.
What do you do? You go, you write them down
and then you tear them up. Yesterday was the day.
Speaker 14 (16:33):
We are here in Times Square, New York City, and
we are celebrating Good Riddence Day and officially closing the
curtain on twenty twenty five, twenty twenty six. Yes, welcome
twenty twenty six here in Times Square, Good Riddence Day.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Just all illnesses twenty twenty six. Here we come, health
and happiness for everyone.
Speaker 14 (16:54):
Let's say goodbye to a rip that ticket up.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Bl doubt, limiting myself, all the he and anything holding
me back.
Speaker 15 (17:03):
All right, it is time, April for you to rip
it up, throw it away.
Speaker 2 (17:09):

coming up Christmas halls. You don't know what they are.
(17:32):
They're very popular amongst the youth of America. And wow,
some people will just put anything out there on the
old interwebs. Chad Benson Show, Son Chad Benson.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
So I was enjoying myself watching the hilarity of the
Christmas Halls. And if you don't know what the Christmas
Halls are, this is what we do now. We go
to the internet and we show everybody everything in life,
and especially a younger generation. So these are people who
go and they say, first of all, most of them
(18:24):
do most of them actually that's byes. Most of them
don't say that in a real way, but they say,
I'm super grateful for all the awesome stuff I got
because it's like the best, and my family's awesome. You know,
it's usual stuff. It makes me laugh. This is Alabama Barker.
If you're thinking, what kind of name is that, well,
Alabama's estate. For those who I can score Barker, by
(18:44):
the way, is this is Travis Barker, Blink one eighty
two drummer. Okay. And now her mam is a is
a Kardashian, So so this is she comes from some
is what I'm saying here. This is her haul. There
was a guy here who decided to add everything up
(19:06):
in his hilarity of how much this was her Christmas Hall.
Speaker 16 (19:10):
Hi guys, and welcome to the long awaited Christmas Hall.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
Long awaited, by the way.
Speaker 16 (19:16):
Slides from Hermez twelve hundred and fifty.
Speaker 17 (19:21):
These beautiful ugs.
Speaker 18 (19:22):
You guys, I'm actually surprised. This is the cheapest an item.
It's seventy nine dollars.
Speaker 17 (19:27):
So like Fucky slides.
Speaker 18 (19:28):
These slippers look so soft and comfortable. Six hundred and
twenty dollars.
Speaker 17 (19:32):
The chandelier heels are totally.
Speaker 18 (19:34):
Like one thousand, seven hundred and thirty. Speakers one three
hundred seventy five, this bag seven two hundred and fifty.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
We're just getting going, guys. I just want you guys
to understand that we're just now getting going. Okay, and
some stuff they just put pictures up the the some
of the shoes that she was wearing, like these bizarre shoes,
they're like thirteen hundred, seventeen hundred, eighteen hundred. I mean,
everything she's getting is thousands upon thousands of dollars and
we're just getting rolling.
Speaker 18 (20:06):
Super cute, bro. I don't understand how people pay so
much for in T shirts like this.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
This was a Christian door T shirt for sixteen hundred bucks.
Speaker 18 (20:16):
This is literally a cotton T shirt one five hundred
dollars like starbooms, I think six two hundred. These chrome
gloves seven hundred and thirty five.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
Now, chrome is something I was talking to the kids
about last night, because we were actually talking about these
this it's a luxury goods company, and they make luxury
goods like and we're talking super expensive crap. You want
like these socks, You're like, I'd like some chrome socks.
(20:50):
You're like, okay, two hundred and fifty bucks. That's the
kind of stuff. She got all kinds of chrome stuff.
Speaker 18 (20:56):
This bag behind sell for thirteen thousand, five hundred twenty
two dollars. Wait what actually being crazy?
Speaker 16 (21:01):
I got the travel case and I also got like
this little curse.
Speaker 18 (21:05):
Okay, so this is the crossbody. It's twelve hundred and
then this is the traveling case for two sixty.
Speaker 17 (21:10):
Five high Lee got me this.
Speaker 18 (21:12):
Chanel three one hundred eight.
Speaker 17 (21:14):
Kenda did her big one.
Speaker 18 (21:16):
This is so pretty twy nine hundred and ninety.
Speaker 17 (21:18):
This is the first one.
Speaker 18 (21:20):
Five hundred seventy seven. Chrome sweat one thousand and thirty four.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
So the chrome, so the chrome sweats, just the sweats.
We're one thousand and thirty four. Now we're going to
the hoodie.
Speaker 18 (21:32):
Super cute, bro, I don't understand how the sweats go
from one thousand to the hoodie being five thousand, three hundred.
Speaker 17 (21:39):
Is really cute.
Speaker 18 (21:40):
Chrome bracelet from fourteen thousand t is Chanel, like you guys,
A one thousand dollars keychain is mind blowing.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
And it was a Chanel keychain with a whistle on it,
like a real whistle, and it is gold and it
looks cheap. It looks brass chrome. Bro.
Speaker 18 (22:00):
I don't know what price I was expecting when I
seen her unbox, this Chromhart's bag, but it was not
fifteen two hundred dollars.
Speaker 17 (22:08):
My new baby, my new child.
Speaker 18 (22:10):
And then the burkin. I'm not sure if this is
the exact burkin, but this is like a price range,
so twenty four thousand, I'm pretty sure it is the
exact one. But the pink in here looks like a
little bit different than the pink and her video obviously
because the lighting is different.
Speaker 17 (22:21):
Oh my dad got me this love bracelet.
Speaker 18 (22:24):
And then the last and final thing, thirty two thousand
dollars for the diamond love bracelet. So that's everything from
the hall that I could actually find. There was so
much that I didn't find. So everything that I found
in the video brings a whole total to one hundred
and sixty four thousand hikes.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
Well, yeah, that can't be everybody, No, there is. So
there is rich talk, and there's a girl on there.
Who is this woman? She's up in San Francisco, the
kind of money that her parents have or other worldly.
But you also got to go, Okay, I don't really
know her, but she seems to be living the life.
We're Alabama here, you know who she is? Right, So,
(23:00):
but there's a lot of other out there like, oh
my god, this and it was just spectacular. But you know,
so you got rich talk, then you got poor talk,
which made me laugh.
Speaker 19 (23:09):
Okay, this is everything I got for Christmas as someone
whose dad got arrested on Christmas Day. Besides the humbling
of my father, I got this Stanley. I know, I'm
like two years late to the trend, but I got
one now as Nnimia girly, I'm always cold, so I
got not one, but two warmies. And these are also warmies,
but they're they're slippers. They're slipper socks, so you put
(23:30):
them in the microwaves and then you're tall of what
they called anymore. This may be one of my favorite
guests that I got. I'm not gonna lie. I truly
am a simple girl. My mom got me a hat
that plays music and has a light on it, so
whenever I'm doing deliveries, I won't fall.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
Down anyone else's steps.
Speaker 19 (23:43):
I got this SpongeBob shirt, and then I got these
Shrek shorts. I got one of these paint your own
stepping stones. I got one of these like two years ago,
so I'm really excited to do this one too.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
I don't care. I don't care.
Speaker 19 (23:54):
I love doing kid darts and craft projects. Got a
big Hidden Picture Highlights book, which I love. These are
the king I have a subscription, so nostalgia factors. And
then finally I got this Scooby Doo hoodie, which I
picked up myself.
Speaker 20 (24:07):
I really like.
Speaker 19 (24:08):
I hope you guys had happy holidays.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
Yeah yeah, yeah. So that was We're gonna be doing
some more of these later. That was that was poor talk.
My dad got arrested. They need dad hauls. This is
would be mine. So I got a stocking full of
some candy I bought and uh my son came to
(24:32):
visit me and he bought a shirt at the airport
for me. Maybe Christmas. Oh my lord, we're just having fun,
people actually givings what matters? You know what though, I
got to say, as a dad, and I think most
of you dads will understand this, I get so excited
(24:53):
for the holidays. I love it. I love watching my
kids open up their stuff. And you know, we we
went with less crap and you know, because that can
be over overdone and more thoughtful things. And it's you know,
they got smiles on their faces. That matters the most
is remembering that Charlie just over the moon. You know
(25:17):
what did Santa bring? And in Santa brought some stuff.
I'll tell you that right now. I'll tell you that
right now. With all that being said, we are heading
to the New Year. What does that mean? Well, they're
getting ready in New York City.
Speaker 21 (25:30):
What this year's design is called the Constellation Ball, a
dazzling sphere covered in five two hundred and eighty water
for crystals and led light punks. It's the largest New
Year's Eve ball ever, coming in at twelve and a
half feet across and weighing more than twelve thousand pounds now.
It's also the ninth version of the Iconic ball since
the tradition band began back in nineteen oh seven, and
(25:50):
it marks the second year of Waterford's Infinite Edition series,
this year symbolizing infinite life, infinite liberty, and infinite happiness.
Speaker 2 (25:59):
Sign me up for liberty and happiness. Yes, please. I
don't do anything on New Year's none of us do.
We'll go up to the roof, watch the fireworks stuff
like that. We'll watch the ball drop and all those things,
which is totally cool. It's amateur hour. And then this
year is going to be massive, so we may may
(26:19):
walk down to Broadway because there's gonna be a whole
you know, ABC Super Party Night with all the country
stars and everything. So we might do that with the kids.
But for the most part, we just chill. Now, if
you're saying to yourself, yeah, you know, I'm gonna watch
some movies, if you want to watch some movies, and
(26:39):
then with that, have the timing of certain things happen
in movies. This guy has done it for you. So
everything from die Hard to everything in between. Let's hear
where you have to start the movie to get it perfect.
Speaker 22 (26:55):
On New Year's Eve. If you start Avengers Infinity War
at exactly ninety two pm, Theinos will snap his fingers
at midnight ending twenty twenty five on New Year's Eve,
if you start The Great Gatsby at eleven twenty nine
fifty seven pm, Gatsby will toast you into the new year.
If you play the SpongeBob square Pants movie at exactly
ten forty seven forty eight PM, SpongeBob will rock out
(27:18):
to I'm a Goofy Gouber at midnight. And if you
start watching Back to the Future at exactly ten nineteen
eight PM on New Year's Eve, Marty will travel back
to the future as the clock strikes midnight. If you
start four Scump at exactly ten thirty eight fifty five
PM on New Year's Eve, you'll be able to share
a happy New Year with a lonely, confetti covered Lieutenant Dan.
If you start Die Hard at exactly nine fifty eight
(27:40):
thirteen PM, Hans Gruber will fall exactly as the New
Year begins, essentially acting as a human ball drop. And
on New Year's Eve, if you start Spider Man into
the Spider Verse at exactly ten thirty four, twenty five PM.
Miles Morales will take his leap of faith right into
twenty twenty.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
Six, just giving you guys some alternatives to some fun
stuff that will be happening out there. Okay, So if
that happens and you want to do that, feel free
to knock yourself out. It'll be a good time, no
doubt about that, no doubt. Indeed. Otherwise, stay in because
it again it is amateur hour out there. Too many wackadoo's.
(28:21):
You know, they're already canceling some things across the country
for fear of what might happen with terror attacks, which
isn't good. We recognize that. At the same time, there's
also remember last year how it started. We had the
terror attack of New Orleans. Then you had that weird thing,
(28:43):
not quite sure to this day exactly what that ended
up being, which was that bizarre New Year's Day bomb
explosion of the was it the Elon cybertruck the Tesla
cyber truck in front of the hotel, which I have
(29:05):
no idea what any of that is either. So again
there's a lot of stuff, so amateur hour if you
can't stay close to home, That's what we're saying. Three, two, three, five, three, eight,

(30:53):
be and it is, in my mind, one of the
best Bowl games out there, and if you've not seen it,
you just have to watch the highlights, not of the game,
but what goes on around the game that makes it
so amazing. We'll talk about that, among other things. Straight
Ahead Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
I like, yeah, so what it's the Chat Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (31:26):
I love football, college football, pro football, watch a lot
of it. I don't watch many of the bowl games
until it gets like I'll watch the playoffs College Football playoffs,
watching those, and I will watch one other bowl game,
the Pop Tarts Bowl. And if you have no idea
what this is, this lady's going to try to explain
it to us, how she would try to explain it
to other people around the world. And what I mean,
(31:49):
it's pop tart tacular. It's exactly that.
Speaker 20 (31:52):
As an American, I do not know how we would
explain this event to anyone else in any other country.
But with that being said, I'm starting to believe that
playing in the Pop Tart is the most prestigious postseason
accolade other than playing in the National Championship. The attention
in detail is like nothing I've ever seen. The trombone
slide covers are pop Tarts. They went the extra mile
enough to think about the trombone side covers. That really
(32:14):
says it all. The custom sprinkle covered in zones a
commitment to the esthetic. The six live Pop Tart mascot
sprinkles versus swirls. The winning team gets to sacrifice one
and eat them. The trophy is also a fully functioning toaster.
This is an actual photo of the live mascot that
gets eaten after. There's even lines out, you guys for
(32:35):
which one is gonna get eaten? This this is real.
This is the People's Championship. I also have to respect
that the commitment runs so deep that the media room
is even committed to the pop Tarts esthetic brand and
taste pop Tart ice cream sandwiches. They also have a
toaster with regular pop tarts, and they have pop Tarts
flavored coffee. It would be an honor and a privilege
to attend the pop Darts Bowl. And I've got to say,
(32:56):
all the marketing genius is working, because what was I
craving after watching US today?
Speaker 2 (33:00):
A warm pop tart. It is hilarious. So they have
pop tarts that are running around everywhere, and this is
where they debut their new pop Tart flavors. So it
is done up and they're giant pop tarts, you know,
guys and gals and costumes. At one point it was
seven to six, but they said it was six seven,
(33:22):
so they're doing the six seven underneath. These giant pop
tarts are all over the field everywhere, walking around, and
they do sacrifice one of them. They also have a
ring of honor for their fallen pop tarts that died
the year before. And then there's a giant, enormous, huge
toaster and the pop tarts stand up there and then
(33:43):
they push them into the toaster and then they pull
it down and they sacrifice them, and then a giant
buncher comes out and they eat it, and it is hilarious.
Oh my lord, if you've not seen it is it
is the best marketing of any of these things. It
really is. We move from there, keeping with sports, to
Battle of the Sexes. So way back in the day,
(34:04):
Billy Jean King, the great tennis player, took on Bobby Riggs,
and Battle of the Sexes is at the Astrodoma was
just this great thing. Billy jan King beat him. Well.
They had a Battle of the Sexes over the weekend
with Nick Garrigos and Sabilanca. Garat Goos is like six
hundred and seventieth rank. Now, he's been injured two three
years ago, he was in the Wimbledon final. He is
(34:26):
still young and and but he is hurt like a mofo,
and he has struggled, but he's kind of the bad
boy of tennis. Sablanca is great. She is. She's tons
of talent, beautiful, super funny, all over the TikTok So.
They played it out and he played in a normal
court and her court was smaller, and well, it's.
Speaker 23 (34:53):
Nick Carrios kills victory.
Speaker 24 (34:56):
Fifteen fifteen of the Sexes herebye.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
Your champion all the Battle of the.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
Sexes one amazing, not just in terms of tennis, but
the crowd, entertainment, entertaining match.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
This is he won. Shouldn't be a shocker. She played well,
court was smaller, he had one serve. It wasn't real,
but yes, if the men and women are playing against
each other, this is what it would kind of look like.
That's just the reality of it. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three Hatch had Mensa shows,
(35:33):
your ex your Insta, your YouTube, Facebook, and more love
hearing from all of you ready on the Chad Betson Show.
Coming up, our number two of the program. Some good
stuff on the way. Some poll numbers out as we
had into twenty twenty six. The issue really starts to
(35:56):
present itself when it comes to the Republicans and what
might happen. We're gonna talk a bit about that. The
flu season is in full effect and it is nasty.
It is extra nasty out there. We're going to talk
a bit about that as well a bunch of other stuff,
and yes, more Christmas halls. Some of you are chiming
in about that. We'll have some of your texts on
the Christmas halls. Yes, my son did just body.
Speaker 1 (36:18):
At teacher at the airport.
Speaker 2 (36:20):
Hilarious. Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
Did we or didn't we do something in Venezuela. Trump
is reporting that there has been a big facility hit
in Venezuela last week, and I have no idea what
the hell that even means. So some of the stuff
are following throughout the day again, Monday, Tuesday, that's today
and tomorrow we're here. Then we're off the rest of
(37:14):
the week. So you're ready for the new year. Well
that's going on. We look like new year. Same thing
going on in Ukraine.
Speaker 25 (37:23):
Just hours before sitting down with Zelenski, Trump speaking with
Putin by phone.
Speaker 4 (37:28):
As you know, I had an excellent phone call with
President Putin that lasted for over two hours. We just
gossed a lot of points and I do think we're
getting a lot closer.
Speaker 25 (37:37):
But over the weekend, Russia launching one of its largest
assaults in months, targeting Kiev, killing two and wounding dozens more.
Speaker 2 (37:45):
Yeah, he's not backing down. He's got no reason to
back down at this moment in time. He's going to
continue to do what he does, which is whatever he wants,
because there's no reason for him not to. If he
fears nothing, Okay, then why stop Trump to stop feather
in his cap all of those things. I mean, that's
very real. He has promised that he could do this,
you know, and that's been something that, let's be honest,
(38:08):
kind of bite him in the ass. I think he
thought his friendship, which with the Pooter and the relationship,
was going to be much better and easier to solve this.
It hasn't happened. Pooter has no reason Trump wants to
see it stop because I don't think Trump is you know,
there's a lot more to it than just I'm against war.
There's a lot of money involved. Who's rebuilding what, who's
(38:28):
going to get contracts. Don't pretend that that's not a
real thing, because that is. But the Pooter. We have
said this from jump until he is absolutely forced to.
There won't be a stopping and whatever they come up with,
he'll come up with something else that's just not enough
until there's a reason to say it's not enough. Oh
(38:50):
it is enough now, Oh it is Oh it is now? Yeah,
right now, it's not enough.
Speaker 26 (38:53):
Both leaders say they've made progress, but there's still no deal.
Anything that President Trump and Zelenski agree to also still
needs buying from Vladimir Putin.
Speaker 1 (39:03):
Remember, on the campaign trail, President Trump.
Speaker 26 (39:05):
Had repeatedly vowed that he would end this war within
twenty four hours, but now Trump is saying he has
no deadline to secure a peace deal, saying this is
a long and complicated process.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
Because it's never it's the reality. And we've talked about
this with our buddy, we have on. We're gonna have
him on again tomorrow Mike Clients, military analyst. The reality
is simply, why should they Why should he stop when
he has all the cards. You don't have the cards
to play, You don't have the military might to take
(39:37):
it to him. You have enough to defend, and that's it.
And because you have enough to defend, that's it. Without
going forward, without pushing them back, without giving him a
reason to look for a off ramp. Then why would
(40:01):
he do anything. It's not going to change. Pooter's gonna
do whatever the pooter wants to do. That's the reality
of what's happening there. We move from there to Malis.
So you've got the net Yahoo coming here, going to
talk about Gaza and all the stuff going on there.
But then yesterday Iran did something which uh I was
a little curious about. But we I have said, do
(40:24):
not be surprised if by the end of the year
it starts to pop up again, if we may attack again.
Everyone's like, you're a foolish you're in you know anything?
Then the usual stuff that you did, and lo and behold.
Last week they started talking about Iran. Oh, here comes
Iran again, Here comes Iran. Iran's coming, Iran's coming. Oh,
here comes Iran. Oh we got to go out. No, no, no,
they're rebuilding. No they're not there. They destroyed everything, I
(40:45):
believe it. And now they didn't they didn't destroy everything.
Lo and behold, what do we have.
Speaker 24 (40:50):
President Pazschkiyan says his country is in a full scale
war with the US, Israel, and Europe, saying the West
does not want Iran to stand on its feet. He
also claimed the military is stronger than it was when
the US and Israel targeted Iran's nuclear sites over the summer. Now,
Iran's president is not the key decision maker in Iran.
Speaker 1 (41:08):
That is the Supreme Leader.
Speaker 24 (41:09):
But these comments look time to provoke maximum reaction ahead
of Netagna, who's meeting with Trump today.
Speaker 2 (41:15):
And that's exactly what that was about, maximum reaction. And
it's important thing there though, the Supreme Leader is the
leader when it comes to yay or nay okay. So
(41:36):
the Supreme Leader hasn't said anything, but this gives the
likes of net Yahoo more of an opportunity to go
in there and go, we've got to destroy him as
we've got to do all the things. Oh and by
the way, now we have to go back in to Iran.
Now I've said this over and over again. I'll say
it again. I don't fear Iran. I don't fear anything
(41:58):
that they're going to do. I think you can give
them nuclear weapon at this moment in time and put
it in times square with them, and the Supreme Leader
is not going to order an attack. How could you say,
because they're not ridiculously idiotic as everybody would like to think.
They're not going to blow themselves up, knowing full well
(42:19):
that mutual destruction isn't even guaranteed. What it is is
you would do a little bit of damage and your
entire nation would be gone, evaporated, as if it didn't exist.
He recognizes that. But they've got to talk tough because
there's a lot of issues going on over there. There
(42:40):
are people in the streets pissed and angry. Why is
that their currency is collapsing, their economy is in the dumpster,
and they're at the point now where they are close
to a full scale I mean the protest, by the way,
is huge. Stores are shuttered, There's all all kinds of
(43:00):
stuff that's going on there, and now is the time
not to blow them up, but to stay strong and
get them to make a change from within, because any
real change it's going to be sustainable is a change
from within. No, that sounded like, so you should write
that down. Write that down, I say, write that down.
I say, meanwhile, let's talk polls, shall we. We're run
(43:25):
into twenty twenty six, twenty twenty eight is on the horizon.
Everybody's already looking at that who's jocking for position. But
before we get to twenty twenty eight, we need to
get through the midterms. And the polls are not kind
to the president. And the President has said that, you know,
he understands what this means. He doesn't want to be
(43:46):
a lame duck. He kind of already feels a bit
like a lame duck. That's what most presidents feel at
this point in time, because everybody's jocking for positions, to
see who's going to lead the party. Everybody's trying to
figure out how they either, you know, in many cases,
try to hold onto their jobs, which means maybe distancing
themselves from the president. So there's a lot of stuff
(44:07):
going on here. And if he was to lose in
a major way in twenty six, that's not a good look.
And the one thing that I tell everybody, pay attention
to independence, period. That's it. I know what most Democrats
are going to say, I know what most Republicans are
going to say. But independence, that's the most important part
(44:30):
of all of this.
Speaker 27 (44:31):
And Eve twenty twenty five was not exactly the best
year for the President of the United States. He started
off from pretty gosh darn good territory. Right, Trump's not
approval rating. In January, he was six points above water,
pretty much above where he was during his entire first
term in office. But look what happens come December twelve
points underwater, way way down there. That is an eighteen
(44:52):
point decline during the course of the year.
Speaker 2 (44:57):
That's a big job. That's a massive job. Independence put
him over. It's kind of split right. You've got MAGA
and Republicans who are never going to vote for a Democrat.
You've got disgruntled Republicans that can't stand Trump and would
either sit at home or they vote for a Democrat.
(45:18):
And then you've got a lot of people that if
there was somebody presented that they thought was moderate ish,
they may think about it. Democrats have the same thing,
but on the left right. But the most important thing
to get both sides over, even though we don't have
three parties, is independence. They will push you over the line.
(45:39):
That's what Trump won with young men and independence. Sick
and tired of what they were seeing, sick and tired
of what they were hearing, and they put Trump over
the line. Now they're going, yeah, no.
Speaker 27 (45:51):
Now, what has driven Donald Trump's decline in his net
approval rating. Well, it's independence.
Speaker 2 (45:57):
That is the name of the game.
Speaker 23 (45:59):
Baby.
Speaker 27 (45:59):
Look in January, Donald Trump's then approval rating among independents
was about even minus one point. Not too hot to Trump,
but not too bad either. Now we're talking about forty
three points underwater come December. That is a decline of
forty two points on his net approval rating. Donald Trump
is hanging out with Jacques Cousteau. That is how far
(46:20):
underwater Donald Trump is with independence at this point.
Speaker 2 (46:23):
That's not a good place to be. And they want
him out on the campaign trail. They want him out
there defending his stuff, going hard for all of the
things that he has pushed and promised. They want all
of that stuff for him to really be front and center.
(46:44):
And a lot of politicians are trying to figure out
how they navigate that at a time when his, let's
be honest, poll numbers aren't great.
Speaker 27 (46:52):
Now, what issues are driving this decline in Trump's approval
rating is net approval rating? Well, let's look at two
of the key issues. Right, the economy reason that Donald
Trump was elected to a second term. Back in January,
he was in pretty good shape, a plus nine points
on the net approval rating. But look, come December, sixteen
points underwater. That is a decline. Doing the math quickly
(47:13):
here of twenty five points for Donald Trump on the
key issue of the day, the economy, the reason he
got a second term. And then of course immigration, which
Donald Trump has really focused in on during his second
term in office, something he has been focusing on since
he first ran for the presidency, all the way back
in twenty fifteen. Well, in January he was nine points
above water on the issue. Now he's six points below
(47:34):
water on the issue. So on the key issues of
the economy, inflation going in the wrong direction for Donald Trump, it's.
Speaker 2 (47:40):
Not a win. It's going to be tough for him
to pull back some of those numbers. And if we
start out rocky in the new year, especially when it
comes to you know, the place where he's got real
strength is that you know, the boomers who are living
on their retirement loving the four one, far more conservative,
(48:01):
even the Democrats are more conservative on that side. They
will turn quick. So this is gonna be very interesting
and normally you're gonna get a change in the midterms.
But is the potential for this thing to be massive? Yes,
but if things go well, guess what, it's also potential
(48:22):
to surprise everybody. And that's one thing Trump does. Surprises people.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
three acts had been to show your ects, your insta, YouTube,
and mora relief Factor. Old lordie, let me tell you
something about Relief Factor. I take it every single day.
My wife takes it every single day. There are hundreds
and hundreds of customers out there that take it every
(48:44):
single day and they feel amazing because it works. Don't
take it for me, even though you should. How about this?
Kim struggled why she was tired, She was exhausted, she
was sore. Every night she get home, all she want
to do is collapse on the couch, good night, aching everywhere.
Within a few weeks of starting Relief Factor, guess what,
(49:07):
her daily pain began to fade and now keeping up
at work still has the energy for her to hang
out with her family, and that's absolutely the most important thing.
So what are you waiting for? Try relief Factor. It
is one hundred percent natural. It is incredible. Try a
three week quick start now for just nineteen ninety five.

person to get out of pain with a relief factor.
That's Reliefactor dot com or one eight hundred for relief
for relief factor and tell them Chad Sencha Chad Benson job.
Speaker 1 (49:49):
You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (49:52):
Not only is the weather bad out there, so's the flu.
Now it's time for the Chad Show. Health Watch, watch
out for your hell and it is nasty, nasty, nasty
the flu. So you got the bad weather. Put that
with the flu.
Speaker 27 (50:06):
What do you have?
Speaker 2 (50:07):
Not a great start to the new year.
Speaker 5 (50:08):
The latest CDC data shows nearly five million cases across
the country. New York State is now seeing its worst
flu outbreak on record, more than seventy one thousand cases
in one recent week alone, the most ever in a
single week. At least fourteen other states are reporting a
high or very high number of cases, from Louisiana to
(50:29):
Colorado and up to New England.
Speaker 2 (50:32):
Why why why?
Speaker 5 (50:35):
The bulk of this year's cases are being linked to
a new variant known as subclade K. Doctor say the
flu shot will still help reduce your risk of severe illness,
but fewer Americans have been vaccinated this year. One survey
found only thirty four percent of adults got their shot.
Speaker 2 (50:52):
Go get a shot if you're older, especially if you're
young and you're healthy, you know, you should just always
want to be careful. This weird world we have now
where we're like, we're not going to do any of
these things if you need to. Again, it's not I mean,
the flu's dangerous, especially for elderly people and people who
were compromised with their immune system. It's and this isn't
(51:13):
going to prevent you from getting it. What it will
do is mitigate the potential nastiness that comes with it,
and it is nasty.
Speaker 28 (51:22):
I couldn't even walk, I could barely talk. I had
to help with everything I did. I was not able
to eat or drink.
Speaker 2 (51:33):
Yeah, my little one, she got sick. We thought it
was COVID and we realized it was the flu. And
this was about three, you know, about four weeks ago.
She was out like a light. I mean she was crushed.
And if you guys ever hear me talk about Charlie,
she's non stop the twenty four to seven go Go,
go go, and she was thumped and there was a
(51:54):
good three days where she didn't do anything at all.
We all got bothered together for the holiday season, and
we share our love, our joy, we also share our germs.
So maybe if you have a chance again, I don't
want to turn this into well, if you get a shot,
you're going to be monitored by the by the by
the powers that be who are going to control you.
(52:16):
We shouldn't be in this position where we talk about
stuff like this. It's insane that we do three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four, twenty three at Chadbenton shows your act,
your Insta, YouTube, Facebook, and more right here in the
Chad Benson Show. The reality is it's good. It's protection.
That's it. It's a layer of protection. And there's nothing
wrong with that. There is it and the other thing.
(52:38):
And I think this is most important common sense, folks.
If you're really sick and you don't want to use
a day off of work because you want to keep
your sick day for a fun day, don't because nobody
else wants your damn germs. We move from medical to mystery.
So do you guys remember that flight MH three seventy.
They're still looking for it. Now they're trying something new.
Speaker 29 (53:00):
Malaysia's government says a new deep sea hunt for the
Boeing jet will begin tomorrow, focused on a remote stretch
of ocean. Ocean Infinity, a marine robotics company based in Texas,
will deploy advanced underwater drones in a two month search.
If they find the wreckage, they'll earn a seventy million
dollar reward. If they find nothing, they get paid nothing.
Speaker 2 (53:22):
That's kind of odd, So seventy million. If you find something,
you get seventy million. Thing's been missing for so long,
and the mystery continues, and as we talk about with
the mystery, it doesn't take a lot, you know, I mean,
the what's been the best conspiracy that they landed somewhere
(53:44):
and then moved everybody off of the plane and then
they hid the plane in some jungle. But we never
know why they landed the plane, It took the people off.
Was there somebody on there that wasn't supposed to be
on there? Was it a suicide if you will, by
the pilots? Was it? I mean, who knows? But you've
heard so many things about this, it's crazy. So we'll
(54:07):
see if they find something. Seventy million if they do.
If they don't, it's two months gone, three, two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson shows,
your ex your Insta, your YouTube and more. This is
the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (54:41):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (54:44):
Weather travel nightmare. You know that, I know that, we
all know that, especially during the holiday season. And guess
what we're about ready to get kicked in the grundle.
Speaker 30 (54:54):
Let's start with places that could cause you some problems.
If you are flying out today, talking about Milwaukee and Minneapolis,
if you're flying in or out of airports there, you
may still see some delays because of lingering effects from
this weekend storm. Further east, high winds around the Great
Lakes all the way from Detroit to Buffalo, they could
(55:15):
also bring some trouble. And then here in the northeast
we see roads in eastern New York and then parts
of New England are also a mess.
Speaker 25 (55:22):
You talked about this rub.
Speaker 30 (55:24):
Those problems with the icy conditions there, and we should
mention the timing here is so key, right, I mean,
all of this comes as a Tsai said, it expects
to break records screening more than forty four million people
at airport checkpoints between December nineteenth and January fourth.
Speaker 2 (55:41):
Lots of travel, lots of weather. Be prepared. If you're
going today to a airport, if you were traveling somewhere,
if you're on the road, if you're going to fly, calm.
Speaker 14 (55:55):
Down.
Speaker 2 (55:57):
Yelling at people, is it going to get you some
or faster. One of the things that I was reading
about today is it's not just about dressing up nice
to get into first class or to get a bump
up to business. This is very important. People treat people
kind first of all, because that's what you do. But
(56:20):
when you treat people nicely, you'd be surprised how much
they can help you out, especially at a time when
there's probably going to be some delays.
Speaker 30 (56:31):
The TSA said it expected yesterday to be the busiest
travel day of this holiday season, but it also says
we could break some records today as well when it
comes to the number of people passing through airport security.
Speaker 1 (56:43):
Lineups like this one behind me.
Speaker 30 (56:46):
As for how things are here at Newark Airport, I
was here over the weekend where we saw really big, problematic,
massive delays and cancelations. Today there are still some lingering effects.
We're still seeing some smaller delays and cancelations, but things
do seem to be improving. If you are flying out today, tomorrow,
or over this holiday week, again, remember to bring your
(57:06):
passport and your real ID with you so you can
get through airport lineups like this a little bit faster.
Speaker 2 (57:11):
Kelly, So, the misery map looks like this, six hundred
and thirty eight delays, one hundred and one cancelations. Those
are growing Orlando, Dallas, So, Dallas, Fort Worth rightfw DTW
also Minneapolis. I mean, there's some some nasty stuff going
(57:35):
on out there, so be prepared, especially in the northeast.
And if you're not looking at what's happening in northeast,
let's just say for us, the snowman would be sticking
around for a while when I'm trying to yet. Okay, okay, okay.
We move from there to a bizarre story out of Texas.
Christmas Eve night, young girls seems to have it all gone.
Speaker 25 (57:57):
In San Antonio, friends and family of Camilla Doza almost
praying for answers after the nineteen year old seemingly vanished
on Christmas Eve and police issuing a clear alert meant
for missing adults.
Speaker 1 (58:08):
And we do believe that she's still in imminent danger.
Speaker 25 (58:11):
They say she left her home and rummaged inside her car.
She then walked away with just her keys, leaving her
phone in the house.
Speaker 17 (58:18):
It's been very, very out of the Norlan.
Speaker 25 (58:20):
Her mother, telling officials her daughter normally goes for a
morning walk. Her friends say she would not just disappear again.
Speaker 2 (58:27):
She broke up with her boyfriend and they said it
was mutual and nobody suspects him. The she just disappeared,
and they there's been some mental health challenges in this,
but it's it's weird to think in a day and
age where somebody just vanishes, and that seems to be
(58:48):
what has taken place here. They have got and what
they're saying is imminent danger. Okay, they think she have
either left the state or the country. FBI and Homeland
Security are assisting in the search for her. Nineteen just
(59:10):
and it's it's one of those things too where she's
an adult. So you call and you say, hey, this
nineteen year old girl just upped and disappeared, and she
would never do anything like that, but she's not a child,
and so you have to wait a certain time before
you make that move, so which could potentially mean who
(59:33):
knows what? Again, who knows what? It's a it's a
story that I have a feeling over the next couple
of days that is going to get a lot of
publicity because we are a nation that is kind of,
let's be honest, obsessed with how should we say this crime? Right,
we have this this crime attainment thing that goes on.
(59:57):
Some of its conspiracy stuff. Other things are not so
much conspiracy things. So who knows what happened? Speaking of crime,
he confessed he who DC pipe bomber, while he.
Speaker 31 (01:00:13):
Has not yet entered a plea prosecutor say. During his confession,
Cole seemed to reference some of President Trump's false claims
of fraud in the twenty twenty election, saying he felt
quote like something was wrong, adding that people who felt
that their votes are just being thrown away were being
ignored by officials on both sides.
Speaker 2 (01:00:32):
Oh, that's why he did it. But he hates both sides.
Wait what, yeah, that's that's that's the other thing. He
hates both sides. So he thought this. So it wasn't
part of the January sixth thing. It was just coincidence,
and then then then it went away. They had probably
caught him soonior, but January sixth happened, and he kind
(01:00:53):
of became a side note, and everybody kind of focused on,
you know, January sixth obviously because what happened there, And uh,
well again, he doesn't like both sides, apparently.
Speaker 31 (01:01:05):
Well, allegedly saying he isn't an openly political person and
denied that he was targeting Congress as it was certifying
President Joe Biden's when in fact, prosecutors say when asked
why he targeted both headquarters, he said, I really don't
like either party at this point.
Speaker 2 (01:01:20):
Either party. What'd you come up with the idea? Dude?
I don't think he's How should I say this? I
don't think he is. I don't want to say crazy,
but maybe a little bit spector me if that makes
sense without saying something.
Speaker 31 (01:01:40):
His idea came from his interest in history and a
conflict in Ireland. And while Cole said he placed those
bombs at night to actually prevent any deaths, according to
the filing, prosecutors claiming otherwise, saying his actions quote risk
the lives not only of innocent pedestrians and office workers,
but also of law enforcement, first responders and national political leaders.
Speaker 2 (01:02:01):
Yeah, so we'll see what comes of it. I'm waiting
for the conspiracy theories because you know, this a bunch
out there, a bunch just hanging out there right now,
ready to pop off at any moment. Conspiracy wise, who
knows what it'll be. He was a plant, he's a
Centurion candidate.
Speaker 6 (01:02:17):
Who knows?
Speaker 2 (01:02:19):
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
three Atchad Benson shows your extra insta, YouTube and more.
This story very fascinating and I love it. If you've
never seen any of his videos, you should watch them
because not everything on the internet is evil and bad,
despite what some people think.
Speaker 13 (01:02:36):
If you ask Hunt prosper, the key to human connection
is asking the right questions.
Speaker 15 (01:02:42):
What did you learn from your first heartbreak? What is
the worst pain you felt that wasn't physical? Is there
something you can't stop thinking about?
Speaker 13 (01:02:48):
You're the conversation starters. He's used with strangers to go deep.
Speaker 15 (01:02:52):
It's the most painful thing you've been told I don't
want you by my father. Who is your greatest love
and why did you fall in love with them?
Speaker 23 (01:03:00):
Was my wife nave One?
Speaker 2 (01:03:01):
We were married for fifty three years before she.
Speaker 13 (01:03:04):
Passed his Stories from a Stranger series, racking up nearly
two hundred and fifty million likes on TikTok.
Speaker 32 (01:03:10):
It was more of a selfish endeavor because I wanted
to reclaim what I knew I love to do, which
was listening to people's stories. And then I realized whenever
I asked these people, they started getting a sense of
therapy as well.
Speaker 2 (01:03:21):
Which is awesome. And we will tell strangers things that
we won't tell other people for fear of judgment or
opening up whatever it is.
Speaker 13 (01:03:30):
Hunter striking up a conversation with passers by on the street,
simply asking do you mind if I ask you some questions?
Nine times out of ten they say yes, bearing their
souls to a total stranger, like Katie who talked about
losing her brother.
Speaker 18 (01:03:45):
Is there somebody who still think about I'm mister kay.
Speaker 2 (01:03:50):
That would be my brother Drew.
Speaker 1 (01:03:51):
You couldn't be mad at him, Like the second he smiled.
Speaker 33 (01:03:54):
You know what I mean, Oh my god, I miss
him so much.
Speaker 34 (01:03:59):
It was very like therapeutic. I'd realized I never really
spent the time to talk to someone about it, you
know what I mean. That's something that a lot of
times people glaze over and continue to live their life.
And yeah, it was more therapeutic than I was expecting.
Speaker 2 (01:04:15):
What I love about this is it shows us though
he doesn't ask you what your politics are, he asked
you a question about who you are as a person,
just a random question, something usually kind of fun. Breaks
the ice in a way it goes.
Speaker 13 (01:04:29):
She chunks it up to Hunter's ability to simply listen, really.
Speaker 34 (01:04:32):
And he'll really sit with you in that pain. And
I feel like a lot of people get uncomfortable with
that because they don't know how to solve the problem,
or they start to compare it to something that they're
going through. And he doesn't do that. He genuinely just listens.
Speaker 13 (01:04:46):
Hunter says these conversations often last two or three hours,
then he distills them down to their most poignant moments.
Speaker 18 (01:04:53):
The psychiatrist gave me some of the best advice I
ever got.
Speaker 2 (01:04:58):
Every right to go and thing.
Speaker 15 (01:05:01):
Just come back sort of you have to lose yourself
to find yourself.
Speaker 13 (01:05:05):
Yeah, and while that online community of six point six
million followers is virtual.
Speaker 15 (01:05:10):
Who's your greatest love and why did you fall in
love with them?
Speaker 2 (01:05:16):
I'm just gonna cry immediate.
Speaker 13 (01:05:18):
The humanity and emotion in each story is very real.
Speaker 15 (01:05:23):
Everyone has a story and we're all connected by our emotions.
Speaker 2 (01:05:27):
Amen, everybody's got a story. We're human. We need to
get back to that. I love the fact that it's
no politics involved. Let's not try to change my mind,
and so let's have a conversation, which is what we
need to do more and more of. Absolutely.
Speaker 23 (01:05:42):
Every year, the Washington Post collects news of hope, joy
and optimism for the year gone by. This year's headlines
a pope from Chicago, GLP one drugs cutting obesity, overdose
deaths down twenty five percent from a year ago. No
hurricanes in the US, Samon back in a river in
Oregon and Californy after a one hundred year absence, cell
(01:06:02):
phone bands in class New York City containing rats, Netflix
saving Sesame Street. And best of all, there's still time
left for more good things to happen before twenty twenty six.
Speaker 2 (01:06:13):
See, there's some hope out there. Kids smile, new beginnings.
You gotta love that, you do, absolutely absolutely, And yeah,
are there going to be bumps along the way, of
course there is, but got to have some hope And
I love that I love the fact, you know, there's
(01:06:34):
so much negative out there. We try to have fun
with a lot of different stuff, and I love that
there's hope. I love that people talk to each other.
I wish more people would do it rather than talk
about politics, because once you make everything about politics, you're
looking more for an arguments, more to try to change
somebody's mind. You're not interested in what they have to say.
(01:06:57):
You're interested in trying to change how they believe something.
Let's get back to having conversations. Who's with me all right? Three? Two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show?
Is your exs, your insta, YouTube, Facebook, and more? Let's
talk about my friends right now for Bullwark Capital. Are
we in a tech bubble? Possible AI bubble? I think so?

Speaker 1 (01:08:54):
If you like talk radio, like Chad Benson likes his meals,
You've come to the perfect place takeout.
Speaker 2 (01:09:01):
It's that time of the program where we help you
with language. Okay, we're learning a new language. Some people
want to learn Spanish, some people want to learn French.
For us, we just want to learn what the hell
these damn kids are saying because we have no idea.
You know what time it is, No, it's time for
the urban word of the day. The young have a
(01:09:23):
vocabulary all their own, and we break it down for you.
It's called the urban word of the day. All right,
the urban word of the day's perfect one for the
holiday season. Heard my kids talk about this. You've been crinched?
What grinched? Grinched? What does that mean? You thought you
(01:09:47):
were gonna get some cool presents, or you thought you
were gonna get something from somebody and they gave you nothing.
You got nothing? Oh yeah, So imagine that you think, here,
your boyfriend, your husband, your wife, whatever it is, I
think that they're going to get you something cool. Next thing,
I know, you looked up and there's nothing. You've been cringed.
(01:10:11):
That's your urban word of the day. That was the
urban word of the day, now you know, Or or
you can go online and talk about all the great
things you got for Christmas. As we continue our Christmas Hall.
This person apparently is poor and that's Trump's.
Speaker 33 (01:10:29):
Fault Christmas Hall, except we were on a budget because
Trump took my mom's job midway through the year. I
want to preface this by saying I'm so grateful for
everything I got, and then this isn't all I'm getting.
I'm getting more next month, but because of a family situation,
we're having two Christmases, so some of my gifts are
being saved for next Christmas. First, I got this Eos
(01:10:53):
Cashmere body oil. I tried it and it smells really good.
I also got this sweater. It's a very comfy. Actually
it's a little itchy. I have sensory issues, but other
than that, it jelly comfy and really bulky, and I'm
excited because it's gonna keep me really warm. I got
these socks that I've already broken into. And then the
mom's friend got me this emergency toolkit for my car.
(01:11:14):
I also got an electric toothbrush because it's like tradition
in my family. So that way, you're like telling the
kids to brush their teeth. And I got some septum
rings there in this bag because mine always, like all
apart go missing, So I got more because I've been
using one that doesn't even have the balls on it
for like the past five months. Anyways, Alb, you guys
(01:11:37):
have and are having a wonderful Christmas and if you
don't celebrate happy holidays.
Speaker 2 (01:11:42):
Yeah, she got grinched and trumped. Her stuff was uh,
you know, wasn't great, but it wasn't awful. There's a
lot worse out there. There is a ton of people
out there who really got grinched. I saw one person
like I got some popcorn and my homeboy bought.
Speaker 19 (01:12:00):
Me this, and that was.
Speaker 2 (01:12:03):
Did you get grinch?
Speaker 23 (01:12:04):
Chad?
Speaker 2 (01:12:04):
Maybe maybe not not a lot, but you know three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four twenty three at Chad bets a show,
it's your ex you're into YouTube, Facebook and more. If
you mis see the show, shame grab the podcast helps

(01:12:26):
from the airport. It's the best coming up. Hour number
three of the program. Iran said that they're gonna go
to war with Us, with Europe and with Israel and
the Martians. But did they really mean it? I don't
think so. We're can talk about that. Venezuela. The economy,
the economy. We've got some more of these which make
(01:12:49):
me laugh. I've got so many of them, it is incredible.
Of the Christmas halls, We've given you some poor ones,
some regular ones. There's some adult ones. And I'm not
talking about adult I'm just talking about some stuff that's funny.
In the show Share Many Grid podcast, I remember three
straight at Chad Betsy Jack.
Speaker 1 (01:13:03):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:13:33):
New Year's Eve will come this week. Let's ring it
in style first and foremost, let's try to link some
stuff up together so we can have fun. Let's do
with entertainment, shall we?
Speaker 22 (01:13:44):
On New Year's Eve? If you start Avengers Infinity War
at exactly nine fifty eight forty two pm, Finos will
snap his fingers at midnight ending twenty twenty five on
New Year's Eve. If you start The Great Gatsby at
eleven twenty nine fifty seven pm, gats We will toast
you into the new year. If you play this SpongeBob
Square Parents movie at exactly ten forty seven forty eight pm,
(01:14:07):
SpongeBob will rock out to I'm a Goofy Gouber at midnight.
And if you start watching Back to the Future at
exactly ten nineteen eight pm on New Year's Eve, Marty
will travel back to the future as the clock strikes midnight.
If you start four Scump at exactly ten thirty eight
fifty five PM on New Year's Eve, you'll be able
to share a happy New Year with a lonely, confetti
covered Lieutenant Dan. If you start Die Hard at exactly
(01:14:30):
nine fifty eight thirteen PM, Hans Gruber will fall exactly
as the New Year begins, essentially acting as a human
ball drop. And on New Year's Eve, if you start
Spider Man into the Spider Verse at exactly ten thirty
four to twenty five pm, Miles Morales will take a
leap of faith right into twenty twenty six.
Speaker 2 (01:14:48):
All Right, you guys, get that we're doing fun stuff
because there's chaos craziness. They've got the ball droped. It's
going to be It's ready, by the way, it's ready.
It's ready. The balls drop ready, Get it ready, got it,
shine it up. It's a new ball. It's a new ball.
Speaker 21 (01:15:03):
This year's design is called the Constellation Ball, a dazzling
sphere covered in five two hundred and eighty water for
crystals and led light punks. It's the largest New Year's
Eve ball ever, coming in at twelve and a half
feet across and weighing more than twelve thousand pounds now.
It's also the ninth version of the iconic ball since
the tradition ban began back in nineteen oh seven, and
(01:15:23):
it marks the second year of Waterford's Infinite Edition series,
this year symbolizing infinite life, infinite liberty, and infinite happiness.
Speaker 2 (01:15:31):
I gotta be honest with you, guys. I think the
Han Scruber thinks a little better. You know what, though,
there's going to be another ball as well, because there's
going to be a second celebration.
Speaker 21 (01:15:45):
What The celebration also kicks off America's two hundred and
fiftieth anniversary. A few minutes after midnight countdown at around
twelve oh four a m. Eastern. They'll be a second
surprise celebration. The ball it's going to glow again in red,
white and blue rising above that twenty twenty six numerals
to launch the semi Quin centennial year.
Speaker 2 (01:16:04):
This will be interesting, it'll be interesting in seed. I'm
pretty I'm pretty pumped about this, right. Why is that
because I don't I don't watch any of those things.
Won't you guys know that? Although this year, that's what
we're gonna do, right because and I advise you to
do this because my kids get excited to stay up,
(01:16:26):
and my kids stay up anyways, Like last night, so
my son's here from San Diego. He flew out on
Saturday and this morning, so I've got we've got the
studio apartment, that's the studio, and then we have our apartment.
And as I was leaving the studio for the studio
(01:16:48):
this morning at two something, he was out in the
living room watching TikTok march in the TikTok and talking
to his buddy. So them staying up, But Charlie's very
excited about it, like he's super excited about She's like,
we're gonna see the ball drop I'm like, maybe maybe
she will given the chance. But the whole two hundred
and fifty years, I remember nineteen seventy six and the
(01:17:13):
whole Bisentennial and all of that. That was so crazy.
It was so amazing. I remember as a kid driving
and they had painted all so many things with seventeen
seventy six and nineteen seventy six. So now we got
too fitty. Now we got to too fitty. So be
(01:17:35):
prepared for that, but also be prepared for the potential
of chaos and craziness in some places. And they've already
canceled some stuff for New Year's because of the worry
of potential terrorism issues, which is ugly. We don't want
any part of that. But the reality is what the
reality is, and so this will be interesting to see
(01:17:59):
how this goes off without a hitch because I'm debating
because we live here downtown Nashville, and I live essentially
on Music Row, and we can walk to Broadway, which
is where all the stuff happens, and they're having a
big night and the older kids they don't want dad
coming along. But there's a lot of people down there,
(01:18:20):
a lot of partying, and I'm debating on whether night
will wander down there with them, Charlie and I And
last year we go up on the roof and you know, well,
we watched the fireworks and stuff. I'm not quite sure
what we're gonna do this year. But I also don't
like doing anything because it's amateur hour. I think everybody
knows that, for God's sakes. So, uh, we were from
there right in the hopes of twenty twenty six to
(01:18:42):
please God.
Speaker 25 (01:18:42):
No laws.
Speaker 2 (01:18:44):
But Venezuela, do we bomb something last week?
Speaker 23 (01:18:47):
The other day?
Speaker 2 (01:18:48):
I'm not quite sure. Trump kind of said we took
something big out. I don't know what the hell that
even means. I don't think anybody else does either. Then
you've got Ukraine and what's going on there. We're gonna
talk about that in a second.
Speaker 24 (01:18:58):
Then yesterday, rather than Poski and says his country is
in a full scale war with the US, Israel, and Europe,
saying the West does not want Iran to stand on
its feet. He also claimed the military is stronger than
it was when the US and Israel targeted Iran's nuclear
sites over the summer. You remember, back in June, President
Trump ordered an attack on three of Iran's nuclear facilities
(01:19:19):
using bunker buster bombs and cruise missiles.
Speaker 2 (01:19:22):
Does so what now? So? But he is not Supreme leader.
So the Supreme Leader gives the go. And if you're
paying no attention to world affairs, which you shouldn't because
you should be enjoying yourself, you should be listening, should
be at home. The reality is right now, their currency
(01:19:44):
is collapsed, stores are shuttered, people are pissed. They're taking
to the street to me, continue to put the pressure
on without making them rally around each other because we
and Israel decide to do something which we don't need
to do. They're struggling Cuba, struggling with Venezuela. Just it's
(01:20:10):
one of those things when when your enemies are basically,
you know, screwing everything up, let them because when you
try to help, you find out uh oh. And that's
the way I feel about this. I don't worry about Iran.
I've said that over and over again. I still don't,
(01:20:30):
and I just don't. I do not worry about whether
what Iran's gonna do. Do I think at some point
in time that that they're gonna get a nuclear weapon?
Of course I do. Do. I think they're gonna do anything.
Speaker 5 (01:20:46):
No.
Speaker 2 (01:20:46):
I think even this regime as looney as they are.
And let me tell you something, and I want to
draw up parallel here. I want you guys understand this.
As much as their quote unquote a death cult, they
are nothing thing like North Korea. But that guy lives
in a different world. They all do over there. It's
(01:21:09):
not the same in Iran. Iran has lots of different
you know, secular Muslims. They've got you know, Christianity over
there is still there. What, yeah, it is. Uh. Tehran
is a modern city. Uh, They've got issues and they
want to be part of the modern world. And I
think eventually they're going to collapse and you're going to
(01:21:32):
see another revolution for more liberal, open ideas. The issue, though,
is are we going to get involved and bring them together?
That's what I worry about. You've got net Nyahu here
said day later.
Speaker 3 (01:21:48):
Today, President Trump welcomes is really Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
tomorrow Alago to discuss the next stage of the fragile
ceasefire between Israel and.
Speaker 2 (01:21:56):
Hamas in Gazam.
Speaker 3 (01:21:57):
Also expected to be a major focus he Ron's nuclear activities.
After Iron's president over the weekend said his country is
in a quote full scale war against the US, Israel,
and Europe.
Speaker 2 (01:22:09):
And you know he'd love to do more things over there.
I don't want to be a part of any of that.
And if you're for peace, let this thing play itself out.
Get people over there, because they're obviously worried. And I
don't think they're going to war because he's not the
Supreme Leader. The Supreme Leader will decide what happens. And
I've said this, I stand by it. Do I worry
(01:22:32):
no about them because the reality is, even if they
had a bomb, they understand they have a bomb and
delivering it would be virtually impossible for them recognize that.
So I don't worry about that. And I said it
last hour. Somebody's like, you're such an idiot. I said,
(01:22:54):
if they had a bob and they're in Times Square
and the Supreme Leader would look and say, don't don't
you dare do that nuclear bomb because we're going to
be blown up. It's not mutually assured destruction. China and
US would be that, Russia and US would be that,
not North Korea, and sure in the hell not Iran.
(01:23:15):
Tell you that. Right now, we moved from one war
to another.
Speaker 3 (01:23:18):
Zelenski, bringing with him a proposed twenty point piece plan
which includes stronger security guarantees and a major concession to
the Russians, a demilitarized buffer zone in the contested Donbas
region of Ukraine. Trump insisting Putin is ready for peace.
Yet over the weekend, Russia launched one of its biggest
attacks on Ukraine in months, killing two people, wounding dozens more,
(01:23:40):
and leaving families without electricity freezing in the cold.
Speaker 2 (01:23:43):
Eh, Putin's going to decide what Putin wants to do
when Putin wants to do it, And the only way
that's going to change is if somebody makes him. And
we're not making him. Trump wants us to end another
feather in his cap as far as he's concerned. Plus
there's huge financial ramifications with rebuilding of and or minerals,
(01:24:07):
any of that stuff that they can get over there.
There's so much to think about. So what he really
wants and what we must give him before we're going
to decide for any of this stuff by him giving
up Zelensky all kinds of stuff, is he's got to
have some protection. We sign that thing back in ninety
two saying we're going to protect you. And then when
push came to Chevellin, that was the last guy that
(01:24:29):
signed that. That was like three guys ago. So there's
going to have to be some sort of security guarantee.
And Putin may say, well, that's a bridge too far
for me. So we'll see. We'll see what happens, kids,
But I think Putin still has all the cards. When
this actually does get to a point where Putin's ready
(01:24:50):
to sit down, it's either he has taken so much
and everybody else is stepping up saying okay, like the
Poland's getting way too close, or we have given them
some weapons and they have pushed back enough that makes
him look for an off rent where you shall see

Speaker 2 (01:26:32):
Now it's time to find out what's trending. What's trending
signed James.
Speaker 35 (01:26:38):
Dean, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia.
Speaker 22 (01:26:49):
Sera what trupping?
Speaker 2 (01:27:01):
That's fine. I was strinting on the old interwebs on
this Monday, the last Monday of twenty twenty five. Remember
we're here today tomorrow and then we're off till next Monday.
So pretty pumped about that. What do we start today?
How about this Google?
Speaker 36 (01:27:21):
Is it?
Speaker 2 (01:27:21):
Google? Football? Giants, Raiders, Patriots, Jets, Kings, Lakers, forty nine
ers games, huge number one training thing. Yesterday million searches
on that one. Iran declared war.
Speaker 23 (01:27:33):
So there's that.
Speaker 2 (01:27:36):
Why Well, I don't know, Probably not a good idea.
Lots of football, I mean, everything's football, Bears, Fred Warner, Saints, Titans, Buccaneers, Dolphins, Yaguaras, Colts,
all things training in the magical world. Oh anyway, Google
over to x, which of course marks the spot number
(01:28:00):
tra anything right now. Massy accusing Bondi e violating the
Epstein law, Kiraghos defeating Sebolenka in the Battle of the
Sexes Tennis talked a bit about that already today. By
the way, I follow Sabolenka. She's nice, but she's hilarious.
(01:28:21):
And the old Insta in TikTok. She is Minnesota. Obviously,
what's going on there is the net gets wider in
this big giant fraud case with the Somalis and this
Nick Shirley guy who's been just going around documenting all
the stuff. It's pretty hilarious that some YouTuber is breaking
the story wide open way to go FBI Eagles, Steelers,
(01:28:46):
the Jupiter, The Jupiter. And finally, Pam Bondi yourself No. Three,
two three, twenty four or twenty three at shed Benzon,
Joe's your ex, your Insta, YouTube, Facebook, and more so
the things trending on this last Monday twenty twenty five
right here in the Chad Benson Show, and finally over
(01:29:09):
to Yahoo Cleveland, Browns, Alabama Barker, she do one of
those videos. I'll play some for you in a little while.
I guess these are the Christmas haul videos if you
don't know what those are. These are the things where
they talk about all the great things they got. Some
of them are hilarious. Also trending Nick Shirley as well.
One of the big things trending right now though, is
(01:29:30):
the weather, because it is nasty out there and if
you're on your travels, you know that, especially through the Midwest,
we're getting what they call the cyclone bomb today. Here
in the Southeast, we're expecting so yesterday was seventy four,
seventy five. Currently it's twenty eight degrees outside.
Speaker 36 (01:29:50):
Millions of Americans are facing severe weather as a powerful
storm system slams the Midwest and moves into the northeast,
Winds gusting up to fifty miles away hour, with waves
in Lake Superior potentially topping thirty feet in Minneapolis. Cruise
fighting in house fire also fought blizzard conditions. At least
two people were hospitalized.
Speaker 2 (01:30:11):
Cold, nasty, and it's not just to the Midwest and
Northeast and the southeast.
Speaker 36 (01:30:17):
California has been dealing with relentless rain for days, leaving
neighborhoods caked in mud. North of Los Angeles. It wasn't
Mother Nature this time, but a natural gas leak that
forced people to shelter in place. The gas scenes spewing
into the sky, the incident leaving traffic at a standstill
four hours, shutting down a major freeway.
Speaker 2 (01:30:38):
There we go, So we have all that going on. Yay,
Happy New Year. It's going to be interesting as we
close out the year, very interesting, but cold, nasty, wet,
rainy chances of sleet, snow, and heat. Are you ready
for it? Of course we are. It's Armageddon's I'm kidding.
You're missing the show, Shaman. You heard the podcast.
Speaker 37 (01:30:56):
This is the Chad Metza Show, Chad Benson Show, the
(01:31:20):
Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:31:23):
It's getting ugly in Minneapolis. The fraud is huge, breaking
story by a kid named Nick Shirley who's going deep
into the fraud. And there is plenty of it. Let's
not pretend there's not. I love the way that the
the way that the tim Walls and everybody else just
(01:31:44):
ignores it and says, ah, it's not a big deal,
and it's it's it's look, this is a big deal.
This is a serious issue, and it's Trump and everybody
else gonna use it. Yes, they're absolutely gonna use it,
make it bigger, and it's it's Smalli's they're all here,
they're all evil, which you and I both know that.
But that being said, the fact that you run around
(01:32:04):
and completely blindfolded, wearing you know, a job to show
how much you're in to their culture. When they robbed
us blind Let's not pretend for just for just a second,
Let's just act like, hey, you know what, this is
a bunch of horse crap it is.
Speaker 6 (01:32:23):
This fraud is here at this daycare.
Speaker 2 (01:32:25):
Don't open up?
Speaker 38 (01:32:26):
So this is quality leering center. I'm meant to say,
quality learning center. Don't open They said they spelt learning wrong.
Speaker 14 (01:32:35):
Don't open up.
Speaker 6 (01:32:37):
How do you have ice here, ma'am? I'm literally a YouTuber.
Speaker 2 (01:32:39):
Don't open up, ma'am.
Speaker 6 (01:32:40):
What do you think about the fraud that's taking place
here in Minnesota?
Speaker 39 (01:32:42):
Don't open up? We have eyes, man, What do you
think about this place being licensed for ninety nine children?
Don't open up and getting four million dollars over them,
four million dollars in the last two years.
Speaker 2 (01:32:57):
What do you think about that?
Speaker 39 (01:32:59):
Are you in favor?
Speaker 2 (01:33:00):
Are you in favor of that?
Speaker 20 (01:33:02):
Go away?
Speaker 1 (01:33:02):
You know we're not welcome here.
Speaker 39 (01:33:04):
Shame on you.
Speaker 38 (01:33:05):
Your in favor of one point nine million dollars going illegally,
open up fraudulently to this business that has quality learning center.
Speaker 6 (01:33:14):
But Kenny's still learning right on the door.
Speaker 2 (01:33:16):
Don't open up, don't right up. Ice is here. So
Nick Shirley, by the way, it's maybe ninety pounds soaking wet. Uh.
And the old guy with him, he's spectacular too. It is.
It's this whole thing, right, They're just going around asking questions.
Speaker 6 (01:33:33):
Ma'am. We are not Ice. I don't care who you are.
Speaker 1 (01:33:36):
You don't belong here.
Speaker 6 (01:33:38):
I belong here just like you belong here.
Speaker 40 (01:33:40):
Don't open up.
Speaker 20 (01:33:41):
It's ice.
Speaker 38 (01:33:43):
You do realize that there's supposed to be ninety nine
children in here at this building, but there's no one here.
Speaker 6 (01:33:49):
This is a child daycare center.
Speaker 39 (01:33:50):
Ninety nine children paid one point nine million dollars this
year in SEACAP funding. Do you know where the children are?
Where they kidnapped?
Speaker 23 (01:33:58):
They run away?
Speaker 39 (01:33:59):
Where're the your this is state of Minnesota. Are here?
Speaker 16 (01:34:03):
And who are you?
Speaker 6 (01:34:04):
My name's Nick Shirley, ma'am. And who are you with
Nick Shurley?
Speaker 2 (01:34:08):
Nick?
Speaker 6 (01:34:08):
Surely on YouTube?
Speaker 2 (01:34:09):
Yeah, so who are you with here?
Speaker 6 (01:34:11):
Oh?
Speaker 38 (01:34:11):
He's just been doing some research and investigating the fraud
that's taking place here in Minnesota.
Speaker 39 (01:34:14):
I with Pick Shirley.
Speaker 6 (01:34:15):
This lady, she's calling on ICE.
Speaker 38 (01:34:17):
We're just trying to put law and order back in
the streets of the United States, get rid of all
the fraud. Have you ever seen children at that daycare
center right there, or yeah it's right there. It says
the child you've never seen, Jacob, We're gonna educate you
on something.
Speaker 2 (01:34:32):
Don't open up. There's nobody here. Don't open up. Nobody
is here. And I love the old guy. Who are
you with with, Nick Sureley? Like that's some sort of thing.
Who are you with? I'm with that guy right there,
that's the guy I'm with. Speaking of guys, Tom Emmett
represents Minnesota's sixth congressional district, was asked about the fraud.
Speaker 41 (01:34:53):
Look this young journalist, Nick Shirley goes out there and
finds more evidence of fraud in one day than Tim
Walls and our Attorney General Keith Ellison have found in
seven years. Why did he find it because he looked
for it, Molly, while Tim Walls and Keith Ellison had
been looking the other way. Billions of dollars have been
(01:35:15):
stolen from Minnesota taxpayers. You've got the childcare centers, they
showed you. There's eighty autism centers that are under investigation.
There was a housing stabilization program that was created in
twenty twenty. They estimated it was going to run about
two million dollars a year, Molly. They shut it down
in October because of it was rife with fraud and
(01:35:36):
they'd already sucked out over one hundred and sixty million dollars.
The US Attorney's Office here in Minnesota estimates this fraud
could actually reach nine billion dollars before the investigation is
all over.
Speaker 2 (01:35:51):
That's insane. And yeah, I look at Walls and everybody
else said, you guys failed. Look, there's all kinds of
fraud that goes on. So let's not pretend like, ah,
they're the only ones. We look everywhere, there's all kinds
of fraud because there's so much money. How many times
have we talked about the insane craziness of the homeless
industrial complex in California where they spent forty billion dollars
(01:36:14):
in a few years, and what did they get out
of it? Nothing? Because nobody asked, Hey, do you have
any data? Do you have any records, do you have
any you even have a place where you put the
homeless to help them get off the streets. No, So
fraud goes on everywhere. But it's the fact that at
least Gavin Newsom asked the question. And that's Gavin newsom
(01:36:36):
for God's sakes.
Speaker 41 (01:36:37):
And we've got two major issues going on in addition
to just the fraud. One millions of dollars of this
fraud has been shipped back to Somalia to a known
terrorist group, Al Shabab. And two we've got all kinds
of whistle blowers now that are coming forward and if
what they are saying is real and can be document
and what they're saying is they told Tim Wallas about
(01:36:59):
the fraud when it was happening, and he not only
ignored them, he retaliated against him. I'm telling you, Molly,
if that's accurate and it can be proven, Tim Walls
needs to be held accountable. Everybody in his administration needs
to be held accountable. This guy now is scrambling to
make it look like he's doing something. Two weeks ago
he created a position with a guy to investigate fraud.
(01:37:21):
Seven years too late, Timmy, It's time that we find
answers to all these questions and held everybody accountable that
has ripped off Minnesota taxpayers and frankly supported terrorists in
a foreign country.
Speaker 2 (01:37:34):
Amen. Look, too much goes on. There's never enough oversid
there's too much crap that happens too easy. And by
the way, again, these numbers are tiny. The amount of
money we waste every year that is fraud, that's real,
that's overspent, that's not paid attention to. That's also the
big thing, the waste, the not paid attention to the
(01:37:56):
amount of money I'm sure that we spend on all
kinds of across the board, federal and state levels is insane.
But this was right there, and people warned him and
you did nothing. Tim This isn't going the way you
think you'd like it to go, right, You scrambling to go.
I put together a super task force isn't working.
Speaker 40 (01:38:15):
Yeah, I'm not sure that that PR crisis work is
going to work for him. Look, I think he's to
be held accountable for this. He was at the head
of the state while all this was happening. The Feed
our Future stuff which happened during the pandemic. Many of
the people indicted in that case also owned childcare centers,
and there was a loophole in the state government that
didn't allow them to flag the people who had been
(01:38:37):
indicted for fraud and not allow them to start other businesses.
That has since been closed, and we hope that that
is taken care of, but there has been a lot
of turning a blind eye. At the very least. It
absolutely beggars belief that the leaders of this state didn't
know what was going on when the amount of money
pouring in was.
Speaker 2 (01:38:53):
This great opportunities. I'm telling you, I was joke. Man,
are a nonprofit. We got to start all kinds of things,
set it up. And by the way, if you even
just kind of try people like, well they tried. It's
so funny that ladies yelling ice. These people are ice, Like,
who are you yelling at, ma'am? As they're knocking on
(01:39:14):
the door. There's nobody in there. What I'm amazed at
is Okay, I get it. You hate Trump, you know,
you hate anybody because you think they're gonna demonize this
Somali community, which they are, let's be real. But you're
also stupid enough to say, I would rather them commit
fraud and be okay with it, then them be caught
(01:39:35):
and maybe it doesn't look good for their community, and
you're you're fine with them committing fraud, and then you're
gonna bitch, whine and moan about the fact that you
that you're wondering why they're having to cut other programs.
I don't know, just it's insane. How did we get here?
We got here because it severing the oversight and there's
too much damn money floating around, too much, too much,
(01:39:56):
I say three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four
to twenty three at you beg you know as your
extra Insta, your YouTube, Facebook and more. Speaking of too
much money, how did you do? Did you spend?
Speaker 10 (01:40:07):
New data from MasterCards shows spending in November and December
is up three point nine percent from last year, Shoppers
spending more on closed jewelry and at restaurants, even as
they feel the strain of stubbornly high prices.
Speaker 6 (01:40:20):
I just want a seven dollars coffee.
Speaker 11 (01:40:21):
The inflation has been fairly ridiculous. It hasn't stopped rising.
Speaker 10 (01:40:25):
While gas prices are down. The latest inflation report shows
overall prices are up two point seven percent from last year.
Speaker 2 (01:40:33):
Up a little bit. That's to be expected. Now, how
much is it really up?
Speaker 15 (01:40:36):
That?
Speaker 2 (01:40:36):
I don't know, because again, whether or not you believe
those numbers, that's that's for you to decide. That's an
interesting thing. No doubt, things were more expensive, and one
of the things that's happening, and this is important is
who's spending the money? Okay, Wall Street, Main Street have
never been further apart than they are right now. And
who's spending the money is important because boomers living off
(01:40:59):
their retirement, living off their pensions, little to no house payment,
and feeling good, they're spending money right the uppers the others,
which is pretty much everybody else. It's much.
Speaker 12 (01:41:16):
There is a growing divide among consumers. Moody's Analytics says
the top ten percent of households buy income account for
almost half of all spending in the economy.
Speaker 2 (01:41:26):
Yeah, so spending more as you look as a whole
is one thing, but then looking around going wait a minute,
we're spending more, but just a few people are buying. Well,
guess what, the many out number the few, especially when
it comes to voting. So that's something to think about
if you're Trump and everybody else, something to think about
(01:41:47):
right there three two, three, three, eight, twenty four to
twenty three at shead Benson show your acts, your Insta,

Speaker 27 (01:43:55):
A sashtag me too, hashtag immigration reforms, hashtag help.
Speaker 37 (01:43:59):
I'm trapped in ash tech factory and I can't get
out The Chat Benson Show as we wrap up.
Speaker 2 (01:44:06):
Today and look back to its past week where you
got to sit down with our family and got to
open up our presence and share love with one another.
Some people like to take to the innerwebs and talk
about what they got. They call it the Christmas Hall.
And I'm not gonna lie to you. I'm become kind
of obsessed with some of it. Now we're gonna start
with the poor. It makes me laugh just the way
(01:44:31):
that this lady starts her Christmas Hall. So if you
know what it is, people come in and they always
say I'm great. Pel find things they can well the
crap it is, and then they go into the Christmas
all the stuff they got from their family. This this lady,
she's spectacular.
Speaker 19 (01:44:43):
Okay, this is everything I got for Christmas as someone
whose dad got arrested on Christmas Day. Besides the humbling
of my father, I got this Stanley. I know I'm
like two years late to the to the trend, but
I got one. Now ad Nnimia, girly. I'm always cold,
so I got not one, but two were and these
are also warmies, but they're they're slippers. There's slipper socks.
(01:45:03):
You put them in the microwaves and then you're tall
of what they called anymore.
Speaker 33 (01:45:06):
This may be one of my favorite guests that I got.
Speaker 19 (01:45:08):
I'm not gonna lie. I truly am a simple girl.
My mom got me a hat that plays music and
has a light on it, so whenever I'm doing deliveries,
I won't fall down anyone else's steps. I got this
SpongeBob shirt, and then I got these Shrek shorts. I
got one of these paint your own stepping stones. I
got one of these like two years ago, so I'm
really excited to do this one too.
Speaker 2 (01:45:26):
I don't care. I don't care.
Speaker 19 (01:45:27):
I love doing kids darts and craft projects. Got a
