Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
The words affordability. That is the word of the holiday
season and probably next year and always. Affordability is important. Affordability, afordability, affordability, affordabilityfordability, afordability.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
What what what what?

Speaker 2 (00:29):
You can't afford it off? Guess what happens. You get
a little pissed, You're little angry, a little stressed. That's
the reality of it. Affordability is the number one issue
in America. And I don't care what Trump says, or
Scott Bessant or any of them. By the way, the
reason he's president affordability. It's not a joke, it's not

(00:51):
a hoax.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
Starting on day one, we will end inflation and make
America affordable again. But the word affordability is a democratic
One of my top priorities will be too quickly defeat
inflation and make America affordable again.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
I don't want to hear about the affordability.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
We will make America affordable again.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
We're going to make it affordable again.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
You know, there's this fake narrative that the Democrats talk
about affordability.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Affordability is a kanjob.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
We will target everything from car affordability to housing affordability.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
You know, this whole thing is they use the word affordability.
It's a Democrat hoax.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
You can't tell people not how they feel, the reality
of their world. It's not a feeling. Reality matters not feelings.
Reality is life's more expensive. But we're spending what we
talked about last week, we're spending more, we're getting less.
Look at somebody hit me up the other day, goes,
why do we spend seven percent more less? You know

(01:50):
Black Friday? I go, but look at the volume, and
what's that's supposed to mean volume? We spent more, but
we bought less, and we're putting it on credits. Oh,
because we love the holidays. We don't want to be
the person that doesn't give. We want to give our
kids everything. We want to get our loved ones all
the stuff. We do everything we can. We don't want

(02:13):
to tell people know we love the holidays. That's a
big issue. I mean, I like the fact that we
love the holidays, but we're putting it on credit, which
is a time bomb ticking. I mean, there's a debt
bomb out there. I think we recognize that.

Speaker 5 (02:27):
Banam is say holiday spending is growing over last year,
but at a slower pace. Americans face higher prices without
seeing more in their paychecks. That's leading to tough decisions
at the register. With Americans deep into the holiday shopping season,
Amanda Maxwell says she's cutting back.

Speaker 6 (02:46):
Groceries are more expensive.

Speaker 7 (02:47):
You kind of have to cut back on things that you,
you know normally would do late eating out.

Speaker 8 (02:51):
A new political poll finds forty six percent of Americans
say the cost of living in the US is the
worst they can ever remember. So this season are relying
on credit cards and buy now, pay later programs.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Which is not good. By the way, there is so
much when it comes to the buy now, pay later
that you're just looking at going, oh, my goodness. We yeah,
we probably have a spending problem. There's no doubt about that.
It's really weird the people out there when it comes
to spending. When we talk about an affordability problem in
this country, that's real. It's not fake, it's not made up.

(03:27):
That's a very real thing. And then you'll hear people go, well,
if affordabilities are bad, why are people out shopping? I go,
you're right, would you rather them not shop? And then
the economy goes in the tanker. Oh, No, we don't
want that. We do have a spending problem. I think
we can all recognize we have a bit of a
spending problem in this country. Like everything, we get addicted

(03:48):
to spending and all this kind of stuff. We have
to address it. And this is where I get frustrated
with the Republicans. Now more and more Republicans are coming
forward and they're being honest about it. Look, we do
have problem. What are we going to do to fix it?
That's it. You have to address the issue. It's not
about oh, you know what, I'm going to make Trump

(04:09):
feel horrible and good. No, it's not about going after Trump.
It's not about anybody. Don't cares in the office. Okay,
it means nothing. What I care about is how do
we fix the problem? How do you fix the damn problem? Well,
the first thing you got to do is recognize there's
a problem. Okay. And you know, Scott Besson this weekend
was on Well he's pretty much been on every single

(04:29):
show you can find him on. And one of the
things you talked about is, you know, it's the media.
You know, it's always the media.

Speaker 9 (04:35):
Sixty percent of Americans pulled by this network told a
President Trump makes prices in inflation sound better than they
really are, and his approval rating on the economy is
now down to thirty six percent. In our latest poll
on inflation, approval is even lower, thirty two percent. Don't
you need to show that you feel the pain?

Speaker 10 (04:55):
Well, Margaret, I think the present's frustrated by the media
coverage of what's going on.

Speaker 9 (05:00):
Polling average Americans.

Speaker 10 (05:02):
Yeah, but I think the average Americans they are hearing
a lot of it from media coverage. The American people
don't know how good they have it.

Speaker 9 (05:10):
There is an affordability problem. Sorry, you do believe that?

Speaker 10 (05:13):
Oh, I think the Biden administration created a till.

Speaker 9 (05:16):
But now we're nearly twelve months and you said the
present would own the economy at this point.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
And you know what own it? Yeah, you know a
lot of what you're seeing is still the hotness of
the economy that got totally sideways during COVID. We continue
to spend while the other nation struggled. We continued to
spend and and clogged up a lot of what was

(05:43):
the supply chain. We continued to grow well. Other nations
and continents just went Yes, we handed out too much money. Biden,
especially outed a ton of money. We artificially inflated a
lot of this and this inflation. It sucks and we're
working our ass off to fix the problem. It's not

(06:07):
hard to message well when you come out and say
it's the media's fault. I got news for you. It
ain't the media's fault. It's not the media's fault reporting
on something that's real. It's real when you talk to people,
it's real. I talk to people every single day. I

(06:30):
know it's a shocker, but I do. I get out,
I talk to people. It's not a feeling, it's a reality.
Show them when you're with them and watch what happens.
Continue to ignore them and you'll pay the price.

Speaker 11 (06:45):
Next year, we are seeing debt levels grow, so even
though people are spending, there is some indication that they're
using debt to do that.

Speaker 8 (06:52):
Last year, candidate Trump promised to lower prices.

Speaker 4 (06:56):
I will make America affordable again, because it's it's not affordable.

Speaker 8 (07:01):
But this week in a cabinet meeting, the word affordability
is a conjob by the Democrats. Since then, he's faced
pushback from members of his own party.

Speaker 10 (07:11):
People know crosser up as Republicans, as Democrats, as elected officials,
We would be wise to realize that really matters to people.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
You know, it's interesting, and my wife does this to
me all the time. I know it's odd, but sometimes yeah,
they want to fix to a problem. My wife will say, yes,
I want to fix, but sometimes I just want to

(07:42):
be heard. And when you tell people that what they're
saying isn't real, when you tell people that how their
life is actually going is a hoax and it's a
made up story about whether or not you can afford things,

(08:03):
or life's getting more expensive by the media and the Democrats,
you know it didn't go well. Trust me, guys, try
it tonight with your wives. If you're upset about something
and you because I want to fix stuff, that's my thing.
It's like, okay, what's the problem, let's fix it. Yes,
she wants to fix, but first she wants to be heard.
And then when you ignore it talk around it, well,

(08:26):
guess what happens you sleep on the couch three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is
your ex, your Insta, your YouTube? And more? A lot
of stuff to get to on Monday, But first, Donald
Trump on Friday got himself a trophy.

Speaker 12 (08:42):
Finally, mister President, this is your price.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
This is your Peace Prize.

Speaker 12 (08:48):
That is also a beautiful medal for you that you
can wear everywhere you want to go. Right now, okay,
let me hold a fantastic, excellent and you will receive also,
of course, a certificate which reads out and I would

(09:13):
read it out with your permission. What are the reasons
for you receiving this FIFA Peace Price?

Speaker 3 (09:21):
Football unites the world?

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Yeah, Trump cutt an award. It was Peace Prize. Good
for him. I was laughing about it. So many of
you hit me up going is this is first participation trophy? Yes,
I get it, I get it. But that being put aside.
The World Cup draw. Here's the beauty of Trump man.
He loves stage, but he loves all the things. He
loves this kind of stuff. It's big. This is what

(09:48):
Trump does best. Now. The draw came through the fear
of the draw that would put us in the group
of death went away quickly. We know two of the
three teams we will play, and we know one of
the four in the European Qualifier will play. We should
feel great, United States of America.

Speaker 13 (10:10):
We are playing Paraguay first, that's June twelfth at Sofi
Stadium in Los Angeles, and then June nineteenth against Australia
and that's at Lumenfield in Seattle, and then it's back
to LA for a third match in the group stage.
We don't know yet who we're playing because there still
is a playoff tournament that is set to determine the
final six teams to qualify in this World Cup. And

(10:33):
so who we play in that third match will be
either Turkey, Romania, Slovakia or Kosovo.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
Fine with all of those Turkeys, good, Romania, Okay, I
mean all of them are okay, but they're nothing to fear.
We didn't get put into the group of death. Quite frankly,
there's not too many groups of death because when you
make it World Cup this big, it's forty eight teams
now there, it goes away from the fact that you're

(11:02):
gonna have three or four potential winners in the first group.
So I'm pumped, I'm excited. I was excited watching it.
I continue to say, I think quarterfinals is the least
we should think of. And then from there, once you
get to the quarterfinals, all better off and home field
advantage is going to matter, it's worth about a half

(11:23):
a goal. I think we're gonna do fine. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three Atchad Metsa shows

Speaker 1 (13:09):
You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Scotus making news first. It started Friday birthright citizenship shipships.

Speaker 14 (13:21):
In agreeing to take the case, the High Court signals
it's ready to decide whether the President can, by executive order,
determine that children born to parents here illegally or on
temporary visas aren't citizens. Lower courts have resoundingly rejected the
White House's view, citing the Fourteenth Amendment and prior Supreme
Court rulings on birthright citizenship that date back more than
a century. Now the Justices will hear arguments on both

(13:43):
sides of the issue, likely next spring.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
Likely next spring. Why would they do it? Can they
do it? Will they do it?

Speaker 15 (13:52):
Just about a year ago, the Supreme Court heurd a
case involving the President's attempt to end birthright citizenship, but
at that time, the justice were squarely focused on whether
individual courts around the country could block the order.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
While the litigation continued.

Speaker 15 (14:07):
They ultimately said that nationwide injunctions were not okay, but
judges found ways around them. That executive order remains on
hold birthright citizenships is still the policy of the land.
But now the president is back to the Supreme Court
asking them to decide this issue on the merit.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
This is a once and for all and I know
what people are thinking, Well, they're taking it out, so
that must mean they're going to overturn it, because that's
kind of something that's happened in the past.

Speaker 15 (14:32):
Sometimes it does indicate that there's interest on the part
of the court to overturn lower court decisions, but most
legal analysts that I've talked to say, the reason the
Court is getting involved here is simply because of the
magnitude of the issue, the attempt by President Trump repeatedly
now to push this issue to the forefront.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
I think they're going to say, no, no, mister President,
can't do this. You're born here, you're an American. There
you go. That's the way that is. But you never know.
Again with this court, you never know. But I just
don't see how they're going to get around this, and

(15:17):
maybe Congress has to step in and see, here's the issue.
It's Congress always when it comes to the Trump stuff,
because Trump does stuff unilaterally, because Congress doesn't do anything.
They struggle at the smallest thing three two, three, five,

(15:38):
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show,
it's your act, your inst your YouTube and more. We
love hearing from all of you right here on the
Chad Benson Show. They don't. I mean, at this point
in time, outside of the one big, beautiful bill, what
have they done. I'm curious they haven't done anything. The

(15:59):
reality is simply Congress doesn't like making decisions because decisions
come with responsibility and accountability, and that accountability gets you
at the ballot box. And it's so true about the
accountability side of stuff because guess what, Scotus is going
to hear something else that has to do with Congress

(16:20):
because of what, Because Congress doesn't do their job.

Speaker 15 (16:23):
The Supreme Court on Monday will hear arguments over President
Trump's bid to exert full control over the leadership of
independent agencies the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Communications Commission,
the Federal Election Commission, and dozens of others. Congress designed
those agencies to be free from direct supervision of the
White House, to be bipartisan, to be independent, and key

(16:46):
to that is that members can only be fired by
a president for cause.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
Trump wants to exert power, so he overdoes it. I
always joke. Trump wants that be that authoritarian kind. He
looks at g and it looks at a lot of
these people who are really running their countries the way
they want it run, and in doing so, he admires
that not because they're horrible to their people, because they

(17:11):
have power. Every single president wants that, whether they admit
it or not. They have a vision, they understand the Constitution.
But the one thing about Trump is, and we've seen it,
not just through Trump, even Biden kids what executive orders
because they can't seem to get anything done. It is frustrating.
And we'll hear what Cogos says. If Scotus says, no,

(17:32):
you guys have to make the decision, not the president.
He doesn't have that power. You may see any show,
grab the podcast. It is the Chad Benson.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
Chip, then Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Last night sixty Minutes. Marjorie Taylor Green, the Traderess. Marjorie,
Is she traderers? I don't think so, not at all.
I don't think she's trader us at all. Is she
having a crisis of conscience? I think she is. I
think she is. I think some of that's real. Does
she have a part to play in our division? Oh?

(18:25):
Absolutely A lot of people do, myself included at times,
So I'm not gonna take myself out of that. I
think everybody who's been in this business of politics in
some way, shape or form, has a part to play
in the world of division. But she's out, she's gone,
she's done with it. Sat down with sixty Minutes last night,

(18:48):
talked to Leslie Stall about all of the stuff there's
a lot of stuff, kids, There's a lot of stuff.
There's no doubt about that.

Speaker 16 (18:58):
It wasn't a decision that I came to lightly, but
it was a very important decision for myself and also
for my family.

Speaker 17 (19:07):
It was sudden.

Speaker 16 (19:09):
It was sudden, but a lot of things changed. I
stood for women who were raped when they were fourteen
years old, and the president that I fought for for
five years called me a trader for that, and so
that changed the landscape of things.

Speaker 17 (19:27):
So I'm going to ask you straight out, did you surrender?
Did Donald Trump run you out of town?

Speaker 12 (19:34):
No?

Speaker 6 (19:35):
Not at all.

Speaker 16 (19:36):
Actually, Leslie, it's more like this is I said in
my statement, I will be no one's battered wife, and
I'm meant it, and I won't allow the system to
abuse me anymore.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
Interesting now, I know that was a big deal, and
it was a big deal for me. By the way,
the Epstein stuff, which I think we know ends up
being was never going to get to the truth, never
get to the bottom of any of it. The way
that it was handled, in particular by Trump and his
allies in different agencies, and the spin that was put

(20:14):
on it, especially after pushing it so hard during the
run up to the election and in between, actually the
run up from when it first kind of went down
where we started hearing more and more about it, to
the story to stuff that slowly got out. There was

(20:36):
a lot of issues, but the way that they went
about it was awful.

Speaker 17 (20:41):
You decided not to stay and fight. You decided to give.

Speaker 16 (20:46):
In after a President Trump called me a trader, I
got a pipe bomb threat on my house and then
I got several direct death threats on my son.

Speaker 17 (20:56):
On your son, my son, you say the president put
your life in danger, You blame him. You say he
fueled a hot bed of threats against me, and that
you blame him for the threats against your son.

Speaker 16 (21:11):
The subject line for the direct death threats on my
son was his words, Marjorie Trader Green, those are death
threats you directly fueled by President Trump. And I told him,
I told jd Vance, I told them all sent those
directly to them, and a response jd Vance replied back
to me, we'll look into it. I got response back

(21:32):
from President Trump that I will keep private, but it
wasn't very nice.

Speaker 17 (21:36):
Give us a hint of what the President said.

Speaker 6 (21:39):
It was extremely unkind, not a shocker.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
Not a shocker. The question continues to go, why would
any of this happen? Why would they not release these
What is going on? Nobody buys that there was no
issues with Epstein. Nobody buys that there was, Oh, he
only trafficked to himself, if you will, Nobody buys any
of that that helped you. You want to know why

(22:07):
you're struggling with the young in particular, young men that
are bouncing away from you because they believed what you
said you were going to do, and now they don't
believe it.

Speaker 4 (22:18):
Frankly, I don't think anybody cares about her four more years.

Speaker 17 (22:23):
This new intense vitriol between them is jarring, considering she's
been one of the President's most passionate and loyal foot soldiers,
often in a red Maga hat. She voted with him
ninety eight percent of the time.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
We're going to reelect our.

Speaker 6 (22:39):
Favorite president, the greatest president in the United States history.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
Donald J. Trump, Right, Georgia.

Speaker 17 (22:46):
One of the President's biggest beasts with Green was about
her harping on Jeffrey Epstein.

Speaker 16 (22:52):
We did talk about the Epstein files, and he was
extremely angry at me that I had signed the discharge
patent to release the files. I fully believe that those
women deserve everything they're asking. They're asking for all of
it to come out. They deserve it. And he was
furious with me.

Speaker 17 (23:11):
What did he say?

Speaker 6 (23:12):
He said that it was going to hurt people.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
Oh yeah, it's going to hurt people. It's going to
powerful people. They don't want that. You know that, I
know that. And it really just the avalanche began there
and then it continued on. Now. One of the things
about Marjorie Taylor Green is she's gone on a few

(23:35):
shows talked about the divisiveness in this country, and we
have plenty of it, and ninety percent of it, ninety
nine percent of its manufactured powers of be enjoyed. There's
no doubt about that, because while we're fighting over things
that don't matter, they're doing whatever it is that they
want to do, which should frustrate all of us. Leslie

(23:57):
Stall hit her with that last night.

Speaker 17 (24:00):
Has built her reputation on feisty combat and inflammatory insults,
like calling President Joe Biden a liar during the twenty
twenty three State of the Union. It's been five years
of almost constant drama.

Speaker 18 (24:16):
I think your fake eye.

Speaker 17 (24:20):
With her, adding fuel to the nation's loss of civility. Then,
three weeks ago, she went on CNN with a surprise
a Maya Kulpa.

Speaker 6 (24:30):
I would like to say, humbly, I'm sorry for taking
part in the toxic politics.

Speaker 17 (24:38):
But it became clear to us that she hasn't entirely
lost her appetite for combat.

Speaker 6 (24:44):
It's the most toxic political culture.

Speaker 16 (24:48):
And it's not helping the America.

Speaker 17 (24:50):
But you contributed to that. You you you were out
there pounding, insulting people.

Speaker 6 (24:56):
Leslie, you've contributed to it as well with your own Yes,
you're accusatory, just like you did just then.

Speaker 17 (25:02):
I know you're accusing me, but I'm smart, amazing me.
I am accusing that.

Speaker 6 (25:07):
We don't have to accuse one another.

Speaker 17 (25:09):
I want you to respond to what you have done
in terms of insulting people, yelling at people, and then
saying I'd.

Speaker 6 (25:18):
Like for you to respond for that. I don't know
you can respond.

Speaker 16 (25:20):
I've done, and so you do, and the way you
question and you are you're accusing me right now.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
Look, I think it's fair that they kind of squabbled there.
She's apologized. Sp It's to be real. Sixty minutes, you've
had a lot of issues in the past, so let's
not pretend media that you haven't again all of us,
I mean guilty at some point in time, because it's
good for the game, right, it's good for the brand.
But all that being said, what's important most so we

(25:48):
talked about earlier life, affordability, real issues that are going
on in America, and there are plenty of issues when
it comes to affordability.

Speaker 17 (25:58):
Affordability is a really President says it's not, says it's
a hoax.

Speaker 16 (26:04):
Affordability it's one of the top issues, not only in
my district, it's across the country.

Speaker 17 (26:08):
The affordability of health insurance caused Green to side with
the Democrats during the government shutdown to support extending healthcare subsidies.
Did you ever imagine that you would be standing with
the Democrats on the Epstein files and on healthcare subsidies.

Speaker 6 (26:28):
No, I never imagine that.

Speaker 17 (26:30):
She's not afraid to be an outlier. She's the only
Republican member of Congress to call the war in Gaza
a genocide? And why did you vote against the Anti
Semitism Awareness Act.

Speaker 16 (26:45):
Since I've been a member of Congress, we've had several
resolutions that constantly denounce anti semitism. I've already voted denouncing
anti semitism many times before it became an exercise that
they force on Congress and I simply got tired of it.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
I have no problem with that. Those things are so ridiculous.
Stand up and be counted. Anti Semitism is bad, so
is genocide. Can we move on with this? No, it's
a show vote. It's a show vote. Now maybe the
most interesting thing again, afford to Bell. All this stuff
is very interesting, but something I've known for years and

(27:28):
I won't BSU. I get text all the time from
Congress people, from some senators, and from people who work
in and around them, and they do say the things
that you would think, Oh, they can't say. They would
not know, they would never do it out loud, They

(27:50):
would never be negative when it comes to Trump. But
how do they really feel? Well, you're going to see
a lot of people retiring. You watch what happens when
those people are finally free and clear of having to
worry about Trump or MAGA or the Internet going after them,
and whether or not they're able to speak their mind
for a change.

Speaker 6 (28:09):
God bless you, President Trump.

Speaker 17 (28:11):
Almost overnight, she's gone from a close Trump friend to foe,
one of the few Republicans willing to take him on.
I'm going to ask you about this almost solid support
he has among Republicans in Congress. Is there in that
support ar Does the support come about because they're afraid

(28:35):
that they'll get death threats?

Speaker 16 (28:37):
I think they're terrified to step out of line and
get a nasty tree social post on them.

Speaker 17 (28:41):
Yes, and they're watching what happened to you? Yes, behind
the scenes, do they talk differently, yes?

Speaker 6 (28:52):
Huh oh, it would shock people.

Speaker 17 (28:55):
Well, let's shock people, Okay.

Speaker 16 (28:57):
I watched many of my colleagues go from making fun
of him, making fun of how he talks, making fun
of me constantly for supporting him, to when he won
the primary in twenty twenty four, they all started skis bawling,
which Leslie kissing his ass and decided to put on
a Maga hat for the first time.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
We saw that. Look at jd Vance, the things he
text before. Look at a lot of the people that
support Trump now, the likes of you know, Senator Graham.
Many of these people weren't a fan of Trump, but
he's the person in power, and he likes the fact
that he has people running scared. He likes the fact
that he has that. They don't want to get on

(29:39):
the wrong side of Trump and Maga. But mark my words,
take it down here. When you see a slew of retirements,
you may get some over the next couple weeks in announcing,
but realistically next year, we already know there's a ton
of people not coming back, and we also know there's
going to be a bunch more that may supprise. And

(30:01):
once people are free and clear and they're not worried,
watch what happens and we'll get into it next hour.
Because there is a worry about after Trump. We've touched
a bit about this. Trump's built this party for him.
It's not a Republican party anymore. And because he's built
this for him, it's about him. But eventually he's not

(30:21):
going to be there. Then what three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson shows your ex,
your Insta, your YouTube, Facebook, and more. A lot of
stuff still to get to. Today college football, we know

Speaker 2 (32:22):
The brackets are set. Not everybody's happy. Welcome to the
world of college sports. We'll talk about that. But boy,
what a weekend.

Speaker 20 (32:30):
Indiana leading the way as the number one seed after
winning the Big Ten championship staying undefeated. The team they beat,
Ohio State, is in as the number two seed, both
teams joining Georgia and Texas Tech and getting first round
byes to Lane and James and Madison are also in
the playoffs after winning their conference championships. And this is
where it gets very interesting. Miami and Alabama are in,

(32:50):
meaning Notre Dame is out. The Irish were the first
team out and just said they will not play in
a bowl game this year. They withdrew their name from consideration.
No reason was get in it.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
Well, they feel like they should have been in the playoffs.
They are ten and two Alabama ten and three, and
they felt like they should be in the playoffs, and
so they said, fine, well, we're not going to play
in any other bulls. Here's the issue coming in the future.
If these teams don't take up these other spots and

(33:22):
bowls because they felt they should have been in the playoffs,
You're gonna have serious issues because those bowls are going
to be seen as even more meaningless than some already
think they are. So Notre damey one of the best
teams in the country according to them, not in not
playing any bowl games, taking their ball and going home. Now.

(33:42):
This weekend though, was awesome. Okay, Indiana beat Ohio State,
which was just it was a great game to watch.

Speaker 21 (33:50):
Dooris Riott, three receivers near side, one to the far
and Bendoza takes the stat wants to throw it, fires
are down the field.

Speaker 2 (33:57):
It's free Elijah Soroadimus time. Now. They were awesome. You
don't anythink about Indiana the Hoosiers. They're known for basketball.
Their football team hasn't just sucked. I think they have

(34:19):
the second most losses in college football history. I was
like fourteen or fifteen the last time they beat Ohio State.
That's how long it's been. And over two years, their coach,
Signetti has taken this team from you know, they were
getting better, okay, and then Signetti has taken them from

(34:40):
nothing to playoffs last year, number one seed this year,
their quarterback probably gonna win the Heisman. Fernando Mendoza. This
is just the interview that you have to listen to
because it just makes your heart smile.

Speaker 22 (34:53):
Oh, congratulations Indiana the Big ten champs. How does that sound?

Speaker 23 (34:59):
It sounds so I want to give all the glory
to God. We're never supposed to be in this decision,
but by glory God, the great coach is great team.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
I'm around us. We were able to pull this off.
Whoever thought the.

Speaker 24 (35:10):
Who would be here?

Speaker 2 (35:10):
But now the Hondas are flipping jams.

Speaker 23 (35:12):
Let go.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
He's probably gonna win the Heisman, but he should win
the Heisman, just based on that the whole interview. We'll
play a whole interview a little bit later. It's just
it is. He is so charismatic and hilarious. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chat Benson Show,
is Your Acts your insta your YouTube, Facebook, and more.
If you miss any of the show, I should grabbed

(35:34):
the podcast. We appreciate it right here on the Chat
Benson Show. Coming up, hour number two of the program.
Media manipulation, It's very real. We're going to talk about it.
The media has done this for decades. They continue to
do it, but now you've got billionaires, social media, all
of these things that play into this. We're going to
talk about that as well as Yes, kids, artificial intel leigence,

(36:00):
what's going on with that? That actress Tillie Norwood's going
to make her appearance soon in something has Hollywood worried,
but has a lot of people worried? And is it
hurting our kids when it comes to their intelligence. We'll
talk about that as well, among other things. You're missing
the show, reach out to us at Chet Benson Shows
your actor. He can text us three two, three, five three,
twenty four twenty three Chet Benson Chow.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
This is the Chad Benson Show. The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (36:52):
Venezuelan, fisher boat men, super drug dealers. I don't know
what they're what I do as you know, is this
isn't going anywhere as much as they would like it.

Speaker 24 (37:04):
To.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
It is not solved and there are some serious issues.
We should have a conversation about it. Let's do it.

Speaker 11 (37:12):
Democrats who have seen the video demanding it be made public.
A source who has reviewed the footage tells ABC News
that after the initial strike, the video shows the survivors
clinging for their lives to the wreckage of the overturned boat,
appearing incapacitated, and waving to something overhead. Another source says,
roughly forty minutes after that first attack, the military struck again,

(37:35):
killing those survivors.

Speaker 2 (37:37):
No, no, no, they were waving because they knew they
were moments away of not only being saved, but to
continue onward to the United They weren't going to I
thought they were headed straight here to kill twenty five
thousand Americans. They weren't. They were going in the other direction.
They were going to potentially Surinam. Are you kidding me? Well,

(37:59):
that was a fake because they were going to do
a fake around.

Speaker 11 (38:03):
The administration has insisted these strikes and its campaign against
alleged drug traffickers is lawful. Still, the President has said
he supports the release of the full video of the
September second strike.

Speaker 3 (38:15):
I don't know whether they have. But whatever they have,
which certainly released, no problem.

Speaker 11 (38:18):
But Secretary Hegseeth reviewing that right now is noncommittal.

Speaker 2 (38:23):
Eh, maybe maybe you won't, uh should we see it?
I think it's again transparency, but transparency across the board
for everything, okay. And by that I mean did you
give the orders? Did you not give the orders? Did
they know? Didn't they know?

Speaker 25 (38:45):
Did?

Speaker 2 (38:46):
Were they coming here or weren't they coming here? Where
were they headed? Were they going in a different direction?
I mean want transparency. And it's not because oh, you
hate Trump, because I don't hate Trump. First of all,
I don't love or hate any politician. But I want transparency.
And I think if we're getting ready to do something
in Venezuela, potentially based on drugs or whatever they're coming

(39:08):
up with, which we all know a bunch of bunk,
I think we should have a right to understand what's
going on and have a real feel of this as
you try to sell to the American people of how
bad this is. Okay, And it's funny when I talk
about this, I'll get a few texts, not many you
used to get whole bunch, but not many that say what, oh,

(39:33):
Chad you want the you know, it's the usual. You
want the drug dealers to win. No, I don't. I've
told you guys this on numerous occasions. My father died
of an overdose. He died of a heart attack brought
on by the fact that he had taken stuff that
he probably should never have taken ever, but did, and
he had overdose on numerous occasions. Drugs are bad. We

(39:57):
have an appetite problem. That's for another time. But if
we're going to go and get into something, I think
we have a right to know. I think we have
a right for some transparency.

Speaker 11 (40:09):
Ike Seth has said he only watched the first strike
live and learned of the other hours later. But over
the weekend, the secretary said that after that initial strike
he was told a reattack was needed because quote, there
were a couple folks who could still be in the fight.

Speaker 1 (40:24):
He said.

Speaker 11 (40:24):
He responded, Roger, sounds good.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
Okay, I don't know. Again, I think we need a
little transparency. That's what we're promised. I think we'd all
like to see and here's some of that. Especially again,
if you're going to try to sell us that this
is so important to go into this country Venezuela, of
which does not produce cocaine had any real amount, does

(40:49):
not produce and distribute fentanyl to us. Right, that comes
first from China, then to Mexico, then to us. Okay,
I think we have a right to ask questions and
if you're not, then what are you doing? Three two, three, five,

(41:11):
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson
shows your ext your instat yard, YouTube and more. As
we talk about stuff like this, here's a question to
be asked, and the question is are you being manipulated?
We touched on it a bit last week, but I
want you guys to understand something. It is very real manipulation.

(41:33):
The algorithms have have shown us, apparently what we enjoy
because we continue to click on it and go from there.
But we are being sold hatred and division. And I
will tell you guys this over and over again. We
don't hate each other. We're not as divided as you

(41:54):
think we're not. I care about us as a nation.
I can about us as individuals as Americans. I care
about us, and we are being torn apart by a
small few who focus on a small few to make
it seem like it's the masses.

Speaker 26 (42:15):
If you're on the left, you're being shown the stupidest
dumb asses on the right that could possibly exist. You
have no other choice in your mind but to think
all of these people are insane, all of them are
absolute idiots. And if you're on the right, and you
scroll through your feet and you're going to see the
absolute dip morons on the left, and they're going to

(42:36):
show you the most crazy psycho people possible, over and
over and over and over again, until you say, this
is the left so true.

Speaker 2 (42:45):
I've been trying to tell people for years when I
get texts, say well, I know that they're evil, I
know that they're bad. This is what the left wants.
This is who they are. So that's not who they are.
That's who you see, just like I tell my friends
on the right that that's not who the right is.
That's who you see. That's who you see. If you

(43:07):
want to get to tension, Okay, on your article, on
your video, on your post, you pick crazy because what
it does is it discounts something, whatever that is. For years,
we just call it not picking. So the CIA called
it right when there was when there was anything to
do with say say UFOs, right, uapiece whatever you want

(43:29):
to call them. Today, if there's one hundred people to go,
we saw it, But one person goes crazy and looks crazy,
and you want to discount the entire message. Well, you
show that one person, and what do you know, they
think everybody's like that one person. So everybody else says, well,
I want to part of this.

Speaker 26 (43:48):
You walk into a walmart, you're going to see people
that voted in a way that you didn't vote. And
they're not breaking, they're not screaming, they're not psycho and
they probably want the same things that you do. More
in common with these people than you think. They want
to feed their kids, they want to pay lower taxes,
they want to feel safe in their own home. They
want to chill. They want to come home at the

(44:10):
end of the day and put their feed up and
have some time off. They want to have time with
their family.

Speaker 2 (44:15):
Yeah, then were the exact same thing. Go to a
sporting event, so we were just talking about college football.
So college football, a bunch of fans Ohio State, Indiana cheering.
Did you know outside of the people that you're there with,
the person two rolls over, You guys are wanting the

(44:36):
same thing. Right, you don't know who they voted for,
you know who they love, who they worship. You're all
pulling in the same direction. You want something to happen,
and you're excited, you're high fiving people. That is as
real as it gets. And we forget that because we're
being sold lies by so many people who are into insanity.

(45:00):
They want to push narratives because it's great for clicks,
it's great for likes, it's great for the algorithm, it's
great to win the internet to build up the business.
Because you're there for the dollars and the likes, the clicks,

(45:21):
the shares, right, the fame. You're not there for actually
going Are we closer than we think we are? Should
we try to find solutions to problems.

Speaker 26 (45:34):
You have more in common with all those people that
didn't vote the way you voted than some billionaire that's
influencing media narratives. Even if that billionaire votes the same
way you do, you still have more in common with
that person that voted the other way that you see
every day in your life. That's not crazy. That is
absolute engineered reality. I'm not sitting here trying to say, oh,

(45:57):
you need to love your neighbor. You need to love people.
I'm just saying saying. The hatred that people are feeling
for the other side is engineered. It is not real,
and it's very difficult for people to admit that I
have been manipulated.

Speaker 2 (46:12):
That's the first thing. You got to understand that there's
a game being played. And the second thing is the tribes,
because we're very tribal and we all want to feel
like we belong somewhere, and so you think you put
yourself into an echo chamber and think everybody out there
is just like me, or they're against me, and that's

(46:36):
a bunch of crap. It is. And I came across
this this weekend, and I've had it before, but I
saw it again. I think it's perfect to describe a
lot of what's going on when it comes to tribal
world do we live in, because we again do live
in a tribal world.

Speaker 18 (46:52):
According to Nietzsche, a few people actually care about the truth.
A few people care about facts. Instead, most people are
concerned with looking good and feeling good. Most people care
only about comfort, security, and power. From this observation, the
philosopher Joseph Sheeber coined the expression the Nietzsure thesis, where
he argued that the goal of most conversations is not
about seeking the truth but about self preservation. In other words,

(47:14):
most people will accept or reject a fact based upon
calculation rather than any concern for the truth. As Natsure
put it, we will accept and look for truth only
when it has pleasant, life preserving consequences. Conversely, we are
resistance to potentially harmful or destructive truths. We do not
have any meaningful concern for the truth, but only our
well being. There is one observation about the modern world

(47:35):
which might lend support to the nature thesis, and that's
the popularity of conspiracy theories and echo chamber monologues. Because
if people really did concern for the truth, they would
be fact checking wild and distorted claims all of the time.
But people do not. When a charismatic or compelling speaker
delivers a statement, it's easy to accept it based much
more on self serving lines. People will nod along if

(47:56):
others are nodding along too. They will accept it if
it preserves their social status.

Speaker 2 (48:01):
I like the truth. I want the truth, and I
don't care whose sides right or wrong, because I care
about our side, which is America, and we should want
the truth. We should value the truth more than the tribe.

You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (49:51):
The battle of redistricting is going on. So Texas got
a a it's okay from the Supreme Court at least
for now they may hear the full case. As for
other states, well, they're getting involved as well. We know
about California. Again, everything ends up in the same place
at some point in time. It ends up in a courtroom.

(50:13):
How high it eventually gets, well, that remains to be seen.
But there's no doubt redistricting super important. Both sides are
going to do everything they can to give themselves the
opportunity to win next year, not based on whether or
not their policies are good, but based on whether or
not they draw the right maps.

Speaker 27 (50:32):
Missouri North Carolina currently have new maps favoring Republicans, although
there's pending legal challenges and a possible refriend on effort
in Missouri that could freeze that new map. So we'll
have to see where that goes Virginia, which is about
to be Democratic led and it's already Democratic controlled legislature.
Virginia is going to try to registrict and to possibly
box out a bunch of Republicans, which could help give

(50:53):
Democrats a bit more of an upper hand. So while
it overall seems like Republicans still probably have more opportunities
to redistrict, and when you do the math, they may
be able to net more seats, there's still a lot
of uncertainty which states will be able to do it
by the midterms, which states things will be held up.

Speaker 2 (51:07):
Legally, And that's the big deal, just because, like so,
the Supreme Court last week said, hey, for now, Texas
gets to do what they're doing for now, but we
may revisit it. So through the primaries they're going to
be able to keep this up, they may revisit it.
And again, this is about the courts. This is about

(51:30):
the parties passing things that they think they can get
away with to jerry mander, excuse me, redistrict their areas,
their states to give them the most opportunity to win.
That's why I agreed with what Supreme Court did on
last week when it came to Texas because like it

(51:52):
or not, it has nothing to do with the color
of your skin. It is all to do with the
fact that these red and blue want to do everything
they can and to win. They don't care what color
your skin is as long as you vote for them.

Speaker 27 (52:04):
Florida is openly exploring the possibility. Louisiana has discussed it.
Kansas Republican legislators who can control the state legislature there
have expressed some interest, although the Democratic governor of Kansas
opposes it. Texas's new congressional map, which could allow Republicans
to flip up to five districts in midterm.

Speaker 2 (52:21):
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Jed Benson shows your ext your instagrat here
the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 27 (52:28):
I've been in California pass its new congressional map in November,
which could allow Democrats to flip five seats.

Speaker 2 (52:35):
So that's a push in theory, it's a push. But
one of the things that we've talked about is be
careful what you wish for, because you may get the
short term win and the long term loss, if that
makes sense. Meanwhile, something we haven't talked about when it
comes to politics Israel, what's going on there. It's been
quiet ish. They got a deal done, but it's not

(52:58):
really ever done, as we all know. Because that part
of the world is well that part of the world.

Speaker 24 (53:04):
Now, opportunities for peace are there, we tend to exploit them.
I'm going to discuss them with the President Trump when
I meet him later on this month.

Speaker 2 (53:15):
That bb Net yeah, who also went out last week
and is for the last couple of weeks. It's been
doing everything he can to try to get a pardon. Remember,
Trump wants him pardon. It's not the way it works
over there, even though Trump's putting a lot of pressure
on them to pardon him. Bib Neet Yahoo. One of
the things he said about this, though, that I found
interesting was the purpose.

Speaker 24 (53:35):
Of a Palestinian state is to destroy the one and
only Jewish state. They already had a state in Gaza,
a de facto state, and it was used to try
to destroy the one and only Jewish state.

Speaker 2 (53:48):
A de facto state is not a state. They were
not recognized as a country. Nobody really recognized them outside
of a few It's not the same thing. It'll be interesting.
This will be not going away anytime soon, and as
we all know, it can bubble up at any time.

(54:08):
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three
at Chad Benson Show. That's your extra instag your YouTube,

Speaker 21 (54:17):

Speaker 1 (54:39):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (54:43):
The youth of America, we talk about them all the time.
Is Trump's struggling with them? Because, as we talk about
on this program, it's the Republicans across the board, which
always had an issue, right like where were the kids
growing up? Right, I'm a jen xer. It was the
old saying. But if you weren't a liberal when you're
in your twenties, right, it didn't have a heart. And

(55:04):
if you weren't a conservative of your thirties, you didn't
have a brain. Well, the youth of America a little
bit different, a little different, right, a little bit different.
They help get Trump over the line, but they're not
happy right now. And the reality is the polls say
that no matter what he says.

Speaker 28 (55:21):
Trump losing young voters in some of the most stunning
numbers that we have seen post the election and Trump
taking office. Voters thirty and under who were really key
to his twenty twenty four victory, are right now overwhelmingly
giving him a thumbs down. This is a major change
from even just a few months ago. Harry Anton is
here to tell us something we don't know. And Harry,

(55:44):
I think it's really important what I just said there
in that last sentence, from even a few months ago, right,
I mean, this isn't something that happened right away or
even right at Tariff's or something in April, right, it's
much more recent.

Speaker 29 (55:55):
Yeah, I mean, look, I think the word of the
day to borrow phrase from the current president.

Speaker 2 (56:00):
Huge. Huge.

Speaker 29 (56:01):
I mean, just take a look at Donald Trump's net
approval rating among those under the age of thirty. You
go back to February, it was plus ten points. Look
at this drop. I'm laughing because it's down to minus
forty six points in a net approval That is a
drop of fifty six points among voters under the age
of thirty.

Speaker 28 (56:19):
Any historic, no, historically analogous.

Speaker 29 (56:22):
I I this type of drop happening so quickly is
just you know, I spend my days in the spreadsheets.
You just don't see drops like that.

Speaker 2 (56:31):
No, you don't. And that's why they can't pretend anymore
that it's not a big deal. You have to be focused.
Shouldn't be this hard? Should somebody be paying me to
help them? Right? Because the Democrats, by the way, have
reached out and asked me questions about things and would
I be interested because they know a lot of stuff

(56:52):
that they that you know, that live in their sphere
I find ridiculous, and they would like to know how
you message it. Wait for the Republicans, and I always
remember this. We talk about this at least once every
couple months. Rant's previous or as Don King Junior called him,
Rance Priskins. When we were back at the first Republican

(57:16):
convention where Trump was nominated, when I asked him, why
aren't you reaching out to the youth anymore? Why aren't
you reaching out to people of color? Why aren't you
reaching out to other quote unquote groups demographics that you
guys struggle with. And their answer and his answer was,
they know our message, they know where we are. They
can confind us. Trump got over the line because he

(57:39):
went to where the kids were with the podcast Joe
Rogan theo. He went to places they were, and that
was because he's got kids who were millennials, Gen xers
and Gen Alpha and guess what that helped him tremendously.
It did, But they also wanted something in return to
feel like that you are working the things you said

(58:02):
you were working, and they're looking around going, eh, you're
not and we are not sold to you. We will
move on from you. We'll move on from the Democrats,
We'll move on from Republicans, we'll move on from MAGA,
we'll move on from anybody. If we ask them, Hey,
we're going to give you our vote, but we ask
you to do something for us, which is the affordability,

(58:25):
the struggles we're having. What are you going to do
to address it? And guess what they feel like they're
not getting what they bought.

Speaker 17 (58:33):
I think, yeah, it's donning.

Speaker 28 (58:34):
Yeah, okay, so I guess the question. So the drop
is huge. You can have a huge drop of a
small number and it can still matter. But still, but
this was this this group was actually huge, hugely important
to Trump.

Speaker 2 (58:46):
Yeah, hugely important to Trump.

Speaker 29 (58:48):
I mean, look, he gained more with voters with Generation
Z than he did with any other group from twenty
twenty to twenty twenty four.

Speaker 2 (58:54):
I mean you look at it, look.

Speaker 29 (58:56):
And twenty twenty got thirty one or what people under
thirty five? This is people under thirty now, they were
under twenty five back in twenty twenty. Generations he has
become the young people. Millennials like myself have aged out
of those genes. So people under thirty correct. And they
went from thirty one percent in twenty twenty to now
forty three percent. That's a jump of twelve points in
just that four years. And I looked at all the
age groups. There was more of a jump in his

(59:18):
support among Generation Z than any other generation. They were
keep from as you said in.

Speaker 28 (59:22):
Your intro, Wow and that but that drop again, fifty
six point.

Speaker 2 (59:26):
Swing correct that game. So audios, audios, who's the biggest
group of voters? Millennials, Gen Z biggest group of voters?
Not even close. You've got to get back out there now.
I do know that it looks like he's going to
be kicking off a tour to talk about economics. Smart

(59:51):
thing to do, very smart thing to do. Get out
there and tout the economics of the day. Get out
there and out what is going on that you're working on.
But at the same time, talk about, hey, look we
came in here inflation was starting to be steady, but
the reality is it had climbed so much that we

(01:00:12):
were always in a hole. And now we have slowed
it down to where we can now start to turn
it around and start to move it back a certain way,
start to get things affordable, start to push our ideas
that will for the most part in our mind. You know,
they're not going to say that make things far more affordable.
The reality is nothing's really going to come down, not

(01:00:35):
too much, not unless we have a recession. And we
talked to Zach Abraham on Friday and he said, look,
we have two things that are that we're looking at here.
Either we lower rates and we look at six percent
inflation plus plus plus because of money to spend, turn
the economy on again, but you're gonna have supply chain

(01:00:57):
issues and it's going to be an issue. Or you
stay steady and you go into recession and you calm
everything down. Those are the two things. Higher cost of
everything or a recession. Either way, it's not helping, especially
a younger group, and they're frustrated. Doesn't mean you're gonna win,
but you have to actually pretend like you're in it

(01:01:22):
with them, even if you don't understand it, even if
you don't get it, and if I'm Trump, I'm drawing
on experiences. Look, you guys want to talk about affordability.
Let me tell you about the times I struggled. Let
me tell you about the times that I had to
file bankruptcy. Let me tell you about the times when
I had to beg borrow and steel to try to

(01:01:42):
get anything done. I've been there. I want to get
us out of this. But the thing we do, we
have to climb out of it. We have to get
your wages up. That's the thing. But I don't think
they're buying it, not right now. And I'm telling you, guys,
no matter what anybody says, the whole thing with Epstein,
it's a kick in the grundle. A lot of young people,

(01:02:03):
young voters, are frustrated with this. My little brother and
his friends in particular, they make an okay wage, but
where they live very expensive. They recognize that. And they
all make six figures. And they're all bleased because they
all got to play hockey to do it, coach it,
all that stuff. But and they're in their early twenties,
early to mid twenties. But the no more Wars thing

(01:02:28):
and looks like they're spending tons of money on that,
and the Epstein stuff is also caused to struggle. Let
me know what you think three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show is
your actual insta YouTube and more. Then you go from
there to the Democrats. The Democrats, we say this all
the time, how many bad ideas can you choose? That

(01:02:52):
leaves the average person shaking their head and going, this
is why I can't vote for you. So I'll either
stay at home or be grudgingly give my vote to
the Republicans. This is why this right here. So Bill
Maher had on Anna Casparian, you know she is. She's

(01:03:13):
on the Young Turks, and she's been one that's been
a bit vocal for the last year or so, especially
about certain issues when it comes to things like the
trans issue, and her actually the trans issue. She's been
far more vocal about that for the last oh, I'd
say two years, because she lives in a state, California,
that decided that hey, you can do whatever you want

(01:03:35):
to do, you can say whatever you want to say,
you can identify how you ever want identify, and everybody
has to take it or else. And so she was
on with Bill Maher and I found it a fascinating
talk about this because you know, if you've never seen
him in his Bill Marre at the clubhouse, he gets
they kind of ham heered. They have a good time,
and it is it's it's a conversation, which, of course
you know, I love you give me in trouble. Why

(01:03:56):
there's no trouble for your life is trouble.

Speaker 8 (01:03:58):
I'm supposed to be totally okay, so.

Speaker 2 (01:04:00):
As it supposed to be. First of all, is it bad.

Speaker 30 (01:04:02):
That I don't want to see it in the women's
locker room?

Speaker 2 (01:04:06):
Is that bad? No, I just don't.

Speaker 9 (01:04:09):
I don't want to see the women's.

Speaker 25 (01:04:11):
Locker room, and you shouldn't, and no woman should. I mean,
this is basic one oh one. And this is again
to my point about like if I just listed and
I could do it for a long time, the things
that they do because they're so tripped up by their
own ultra orthodox the ideology that they think that that

(01:04:33):
makes them a better person to be so counterintuitive about
all these issues like this, that this makes them the
good people that they're way out ahead on this issue
and you're not, and it's not what people want, and
it goes against human nature and it's not helping.

Speaker 2 (01:04:48):
You didn't.

Speaker 25 (01:04:49):
Yeah, you want a champion women, and you didn't.

Speaker 2 (01:04:51):
You did the opposite. Spot On, you did the opposite,
And that's why you fail. You fail because you make
identity right hierarchy of these things the most important part
of what it is that you're pitching. You leave behind

(01:05:14):
common sense. And when you leave behind common sense, you
will fail. When you leave behind common sense, you will lose.
When you leave behind common sense, you'll find out that
where you are in the echo chamber you live in
isn't as common as you think.

Speaker 30 (01:05:28):
When you see everything as a hierarchy, literally everything's a hierarchy, well,
then inevitably you're going to find yourself in a situation
where the rights of one group kind of falls by
the wayside, right, And I don't see it that way.

Speaker 2 (01:05:45):
I actually.

Speaker 30 (01:05:47):
I respect transgender people. I do not want to treat
them like the others. I want them to have rights.

Speaker 26 (01:05:54):
I want them to be.

Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
Treated with dignity respect.

Speaker 30 (01:05:57):
At the same time, I also know what it's like
to be a woman living in a state where we've
decided self I d.

Speaker 2 (01:06:04):
Makes the most sense.

Speaker 30 (01:06:05):
Okay, well, self, I d doesn't make the most sense
because obviously, as you and I both know, there are
all sorts of predators out there who are going to
take advantage of that situation, and that's already happened.

Speaker 2 (01:06:17):
Yes, And the hierarchy, right, when we talk hierarchy, that
is the perfect example of what we have talked about
for years on our show that the left has done right,
the intersectionality. Intersectionality essentially is if there's two white males here, right,

(01:06:38):
and one's gay, well, there's a hierarchy there in their
world because that person has, if you will, as far
as they're concerned, a strike against them, so their world's tougher. Okay.
So if this person's gay and fat, well that's two.
So they're gay and fat, even though the white that
takes away one, but there's still two there. So you
start going on and on, and this is the hierarchy

(01:07:00):
that they look for, and what happens. It fails because
it doesn't work because it doesn't resonate with people. It
doesn't and that's why the Democrats continue to flounder. Last week,
Gavin Newsom, who's making a strong push, as we know,
to be president of the United States, talking about what
the Democrats need to do.

Speaker 31 (01:07:21):
I mean, you know, we could talk about why Kamala lost,
which is separate. I mean, it's part derivative of the
larger narrative. But issues around inflation scars. We don't talk
enough about interest rates. We didn't talk about incumbency issues
related you just said, be beyond, related to Israeli politics, immigration,

(01:07:43):
the border, and particularly you could talk about all those things,
not just one hundred and seven days, not just talk
about bidence, de termination lack thereof in terms of passing
the baton. But I think there's a broader narrative that
we ot to address.

Speaker 2 (01:07:54):
That is, we have to be more culturally normal.

Speaker 3 (01:07:58):
We have to be a little less judgmental.

Speaker 31 (01:08:00):
We have to have a party that understands the importance
and power of the border substantively and politically.

Speaker 2 (01:08:10):
Let me translate that for you. Common sense. No, men
shouldn't be in women's locker rooms. No, a wide open
border doesn't work. Yes, inflation sucked. Biden dropped the ball.
Our candidates that we put up work very good kitchen

(01:08:32):
table issues. Common sense that wins you elections. Oh, extremes
may win you elections in certain areas, but kitchen table
and common sense. When you the war not a battle

best Christmas movies of all time, the best Christmas songs
of all time, and the worst Christmas songs of all time.
Plus Christmas I'm doing a little chad Mark like Hallmark Christmas.

of the Hallmark movies I've seen this year, So be
prepared for that. And you're saying, Chad, have you seen
any I've seen so many Christmas movies that you have
no idea. I love it. I love it. I love it.
But we're gonna do some fun things, including the Chad
Mark like the Hallmark movies. I've got a full, full

(01:11:21):
radio play with tons of parts, all kinds of stuff.
You guys, it's gonna be great. We're gonna have a
lot of fun with that, and we're gonna count down
a lot of you know, the crazy, the wacky stuff.
So I am super pumped about the holidays. My wife
just laughs because my entire and I'll probably post this
later on. So I've got a Christmas village behind me.

(01:11:42):
I've got giant Santa Claus everywhere in my studio. Our
house looks like, you know, a Hallmark movie. It is phenomenal.
I'm just so excited, So be prepared. Starting tomorrow, we're
gonna start counting down some of the worst songs of
all time for Christmas, as well as give you some
of those Hallmark movies that maybe you haven't seen this
year three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four, twenty

(01:12:05):
three at Chad Bensons Show. Is your ex your Insta,
your YouTube, your Facebook and more? You know, I love
hearing from each and every one of you right here
in the Chad Benson Show. Coming up, our number two
of the program. A lot of good stuff still to
get to, including yes, kids, affordability, the A word, Oh jeez, ched,

(01:12:29):
the A word is real. What's Trump and the Republican
gonna do to tackle the A word? As well as
Marjorie Taylor Green last night on sixty minutes, so we
get a little WA's trending coming as well. College football
is pissing everybody off or maybe exciting people, not quite sure,
depends on where you stand on that. We'll have some
of that as well. And of course the World Cup

(01:12:50):
US knows who they play. I'm gonna give you a
breakdown of how I think we're gonna do in our
first round games, so be prepared for that. If you're
missing in the show, shame our number three straight ed Chads.

Speaker 1 (01:13:01):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 5 (01:13:31):
Football, Football, football, back to his wife.

Speaker 21 (01:13:37):
Three receivers near side one of the four and Mendoza
takes the stab, wants to throw it, fires him down
the field.

Speaker 2 (01:13:43):
It's free. Elijah sorondis the tag. Well look at that
right there, that right there was Indiana Hoosiers beaton Ohio State,
number one seed. When it comes to college football's playoff,

(01:14:06):
we'll get deeper into a little bit later, but I
wanted to play you guys says they didn't do it
last hour. I played a bit of it in the
first hour. If you haven't heard the IU quarterback, all right,
So Fernando Mendoza is this guy is. If you watched
it and you have to see it just as much

(01:14:27):
you have to hear it, you would think he's a
bit spatial and kind of goofy. He's gonna win the
Heisman more than likely. Although I would say my buddy
out here in Vanderbilt should have probably had a good
shot of winning that. But this guy is gonna win.
He's probably gonna be Ano one Draffick next year when
he goes to the pros. He has led IU to

(01:14:47):
an incredible, incredible year, best year they've ever had. Considering
the worst team in college football history, more than likely.
I would say that that's not just me. I think
they have the second most losses. They basically be they're
not even in also ran there never was, but they win.
So they beat Ohio State right places going crazy right,

(01:15:09):
and and Jenny taff from from Fox is the first
one to get to them and just listen to this.

Speaker 22 (01:15:17):
Oh congratulations Indiana the Big ten champs. How does that sound?

Speaker 2 (01:15:23):
It sounds so beautiful.

Speaker 23 (01:15:24):
I want to give all the glory to Gone.

Speaker 2 (01:15:26):
We're never supposed to.

Speaker 3 (01:15:27):
Be in the position.

Speaker 23 (01:15:27):
But by the glory and Gone, the great coaches, great teams,
everybody around us.

Speaker 2 (01:15:32):
We were able to.

Speaker 23 (01:15:32):
Pull this off.

Speaker 2 (01:15:33):
Whoever thought the Hoods.

Speaker 24 (01:15:34):
Would be here?

Speaker 23 (01:15:35):
But now the Hondias are flipping champs.

Speaker 2 (01:15:37):
Let's go.

Speaker 22 (01:15:38):
You guys call yourself a bunch of misfits who found
the right home at Indiana. Why was this the right
place for this group?

Speaker 23 (01:15:45):
Is the right place for process Orange? And we're going
day by days off at the line, the defense, the coaches,
special teams, we're all prozes oranges to one goal.

Speaker 2 (01:15:54):
That's our thing is we're brothers.

Speaker 23 (01:15:56):
We can drag teams to the defense because we know
that we're gonna stick the guy and we have the
strongest glue ever.

Speaker 22 (01:16:02):
Tell me about finding Charlie Becker third down two minutes ago.
We talk about Heisman moments, but take me through that one.

Speaker 23 (01:16:09):
Well, what an incredible Charlie's been, but he's been every
single day in summer. We were always throwing before practice,
before at seven am on Sundays, doing spots, doing routes,
and now you see it to go for fruition. He's
my roommate. Couldn't be happy for such a young man
as well as well as our deepest playing lights out
and well, everybody, just what an incredible moment. Congratulations, enjoy it,

(01:16:32):
Thanks so much, God bless go who's yours?

Speaker 2 (01:16:34):
It was just you had to see him and he
brings his hand together. Who were unit?

Speaker 16 (01:16:37):
Would you?

Speaker 2 (01:16:37):
Oh my god? It was just so. Then they interviewed
Charlie later is like, yeah, we're pretty good. I think
we're good. We're having a good time. You gotta love
that though, right to have that kind of a uh,
just that passion. This is my wife always says about me.
I'm like a kid, you know, running around in my fifties,
just act like I'm a five year old. At times,
I'm like, I just love life.

Speaker 10 (01:16:59):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:16:59):
I saw all things this week Dick Van Dyke, because
he's getting ready celebrate his one hundred birthday, And they said
what got you? He said, well, I stop smoking and
drinking in my fifties. You think that's a long time ago.
But he also said, I still believe I'm a kid.
I still act like a kid. I still do the
things they used to do, and I love living. Here's
somebody to be said for that, no doubt about that.

(01:17:20):
Affordability sounded to be said for that as well, Ladies
and gentlemen, Scott Bessen.

Speaker 9 (01:17:25):
Sixty percent of Americans pulled by this network told a
President Trump makes prices and inflation sound better than they
really are, and his approval rating on the economy is
now down to thirty six percent. In our latest poll
on inflation, approval is even lower, thirty two percent. Don't
you need to show that you feel the pain?

Speaker 10 (01:17:45):
Well, Margaret, I think the present's frustrated by the media
coverage of what's.

Speaker 9 (01:17:48):
Going on pulling average Americans.

Speaker 10 (01:17:51):
Yeah, but I think the average Americans they are hearing
a lot of it from media coverage. The American people
don't know how good they have it.

Speaker 9 (01:18:00):
There is an affordability problem. Sorry, you do believe that.

Speaker 10 (01:18:03):
Oh, I think the Biden administration created a till.

Speaker 9 (01:18:06):
But now we're nearly twelve months in. You said the
president would own the economy.

Speaker 2 (01:18:09):
At this point, Okay, Now, there's a lot to be
made of that. First, there is a problem. You've got
to address it. Trump is starting to realize that looks
like he's going to go on a national tour. Because
let's be real, Trump over the last few months hasn't
done the things he's done in the past. He's not

(01:18:32):
out there touting these things. He's holding press conferences. He's
either going from mar A Lago to somewhere in you know, Europe,
but he's not going across the country right or you know,
so back and forth, and it's it's been kind of
a hometown advantage there running with there, and so he's
got to get out and talk about it. There is
no doubt you have to next year. And the reason

(01:18:55):
this is important if you're a Republican, well, first of
all of us, because affordability is very important. But the
reasons you're or if you care about the politics of
it all, what's the only thing we should care about
is what's best for the American people. But we have
to talk about in context of politics is simply you
get boat raced next year, you lose in the midterms.

(01:19:16):
Heavy it's a tsunami. You see a bunch of flips.
You're in a lot of trouble. Even if it's just
only the Congress. If some should happen in the Senate,
then you're in super double double double double trouble that
cannot be understated. But you have to You can't just
run with well, they're going to impeach him, so you

(01:19:38):
better vote for us. No, you've got to talk about
the issues. You need to be forthright with the people,
asking for time, talking about what's coming, talking about Look,
inflation may stay hot. The reason is because we're gonna
get these wages rocking and rolling. Inflation is always going
to be there, and it's always an okay thing because
you're going to see a natural you know, two percent

(01:20:00):
or so with inflation. We can't have five six, eight percent.
That is not going to work. If people's wages kept
up for inflation, would it be this bad? No, But
they have it. So you need to start talking about
how are we going to get people making more money
in America.

Speaker 9 (01:20:16):
Atrio, the parallels with what we saw with former President
Biden and.

Speaker 17 (01:20:20):
His re election campaign are astounding.

Speaker 9 (01:20:22):
He struggled with his messaging on the economy. Our Democrats
are already cutting the.

Speaker 20 (01:20:26):
Campaign ads with some of the language the affordability.

Speaker 17 (01:20:29):
As a hoax.

Speaker 7 (01:20:30):
I mean, I ask the American families who are trying
to put food on their table and trying to put
gas in their car and feed their families. Look, at
the end of the day, here's the bottom line. Christ
and affordability was the number one issue in the twenty
twenty four campaign. It's been the number one issue in
every special election that we've had in the last year.
It will be the number one issue in the midterms.
Trump going out there and telling the American people that know, actually,

(01:20:52):
the economy's fine. This is all a hoax, as a
Democratic hoax. People don't believe that they will vote with
their pocketbooks. Is it tail as old as time. That's
exactly what we'll se happening in terms in twenty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (01:21:02):
That right there is Adriana el Rod. She helped Biden
in his campaigns as well several others. She knows what
she's talking about. It's affordability. It's affordability. Man, get out there,
talk about it, talk about the things you're doing to
work on it.

Speaker 11 (01:21:19):
Do not.

Speaker 2 (01:21:21):
Tell people what they are going through is not real.
I cannot emphasize that enough. You cannot tell everybody that
it's fake, because this is going to be everywhere starting
on day one.

Speaker 4 (01:21:38):
We will end inflation and make America affordable again. But
the word affordability is a Democrat scam. One of my
top priorities will be to quickly defeat inflation and make
America affordable again.

Speaker 2 (01:21:52):
I don't want to hear about the affordability.

Speaker 4 (01:21:54):
He will make America affordable again.

Speaker 2 (01:21:58):
We're going to make it affordable again.

Speaker 4 (01:21:59):
You know, there's this fake narrative that the Democrats talk
about affordability.

Speaker 3 (01:22:04):
Affordability is a kanjob.

Speaker 4 (01:22:05):
We will target everything from car affordability to housing affordability.

Speaker 3 (01:22:10):
You know, this whole thing is they use the word affordability.
It's a Democrat hoax.

Speaker 2 (01:22:15):
It's not a hoax, and they're going to play that
over and over again. You used it perfectly against them
because it was real. We even played that clip last
hour of Gavenusom talking about how they messed up with
inflation and affordability. The Democrats and now the Republicans pounced
on it. You don't think that's happening to you. You've
got to make a move, and it has to be

(01:22:39):
one where you're not blaming others. It can't be that
people are saying, all right, well it's been almost a year, okay,
eleven months, when do you own it? When is it yours?
Was there some crossover? Yes? Do I expect it to
be perfect? No? But people are asking a very fair
question about when do you you get to own it?

(01:23:01):
Or as if everything's bad the other side and everything's good,
is your side that doesn't go? Well? Let me know
what you think. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
twenty three at Chad Benton Show, Is your ex your Insta? YouTube, Facebook?
And more? All that being said, the World Cup good
news Friday. Trump got his Peace Prize, the one, well,

(01:23:22):
not the one he wants. He wants the Nobell. They're
not giving it to him. But he got the FIFA
Peace Prize for saving billions of people or something like that.
We're not quite sure. I was laughing about it. I'm
like whatever that being said, I was pumped about the
World Cup. And one thing Trump knows better than anybody
is how to do it right? How to do it right?

(01:23:43):
I don't know if the YMCA was the way to
kick it, you know, the village people there, I don't know,
about that, but they're like the house band. Now. I
was just excited to find out who we playing.

Speaker 13 (01:23:55):
We are playing Paraguay first, that's June twelfth at Sofi
Stadium in Los Angeles, and then June nineteenth against Australia
and that's at Lumenfield in Seattle, and then it's back
to LA for a third match in the group stage.
We don't know yet who we're playing because there still
is a playoff tournament that is set to determine the
final six teams to qualify in this World Cup, and

(01:24:17):
so who we play in that third match will be
either Turkey, Romania, Slovakia or Kosovo.

Speaker 2 (01:24:23):
Okay, so how do we line up in this? We
should be fine. We should win the group. We should
win the group. I mean, we're the strongest of the teams.
We're at home. We should win the group. Now the

(01:24:43):
interesting thing is we could get to the point where
if we win our first two games, we should be
facing Turkey or Romania. Probably you never know of those,
but probably Turkey. And if we do Turkey, maybe in
the same position. We're two and oh they're two, and
oh it doesn't really matter La one to one draw,
none of it matters. You're going through the next round,
but we should win the group. I am so pumped

(01:25:05):
about this. Baby three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
four to twenty three Atchad Benson shows your ex your

You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:26:28):
Now it's time to find out what's trending. What's trending?

Speaker 33 (01:26:33):
Signed James Dean, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Sera, what trapping?

Speaker 2 (01:26:58):
Let us find out what's trending. Honest my day. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
that's a good song. You did well, ched, Thank you.
I appreciate that started with the yell Notre Dame fighting,
Irish will be fighting no more. College football playoff came
out and Notre Dame was stumped and they say, fine,

(01:27:21):
We're not playing in any games. Then My Kennedy Center
honors Sara Night Live because did not see the Sarah
Sherman viral raccoon skit. It was pretty damn good shooter, Sanyers, Ravens,
Kate Winslet all trending in the magical world of Yahoo.
Over to Google All sports, Texans, Chiefs, Steelers, Ravens, Bengals, Bills, Broncos, Raiders.

(01:27:48):
You have to go down to I'm looking here real
Madrid versus celto Ego. While sports it is not Sack
Frandly Bwitz, Braddy Cook for sports again. But you know,
just Blando Norris. Not by the way, a Star Wars

(01:28:11):
character that one Formula one World Chippion Llanto Norris. You
gotta have a cool name, right, There's nobody named Todd
racing in Formula one. You don't have that because Todd.
And finally over to X which marks the spot Pete
Hegseth Marjory Taylor Green last night sixty minutes, Notre Dame,

(01:28:36):
Notre Dame, broncos America first Indiana Redistricting, Also about Indiana
Brown's Packers three, two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four
to twenty three. At Chad Benson Show, is your ex
your Insta, You're to YouTube, your Facebook and all the

(01:28:59):
other things that are out there. If you miss an
the show, we always say, make sure you grab that
podcast right in the Chudminton Shure Jeff Kent baseball, Baseball.
He's been elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. On
the contemporary Arab ballot, I know they have so many
ballots Daniel Jones man that sucks for him in college

(01:29:23):
football playoffs, oh thanks trending in the match world of ers.
Notre Dame was pissed, have every right to be pissed.
Understandable playoff set. They felt they had done enough and.

Speaker 20 (01:29:35):
No Indiana leading the way as the number one seed
after winning the Big Ten championship staying undefeated. The team
they beat. Ohio State is in as the number two seed,
both teams joining Georgia and Texas Tech and getting first
round byes to Lane and James and Madison are also
in the playoffs after winning their conference championships. And this
is where it gets very interesting. Miami and Alabama are in,

(01:29:57):
meaning Notre Dame is out. The Irish were the first
team and just said they will not play in a
bowl game this year. They withdrew their name from consideration.
No reason was given.

Speaker 2 (01:30:07):
They don't want to, they felt they were. They deserve
the right to be in the playoffs. There's always going
to be somebody if you move it to sixteen teams
eighteen through twenty and good Field. They should have been
there now. The problem was this weekend Virginia and Duke.
Duke was seven and five playing in the ACC Championship

(01:30:27):
game that they won, the beat Virginia. Had Virginia one,
they would have been the ACC team that went Miami
and Notre Dame comparable and Miami beat Notre Dame to
start the year. You can argue that Notre Dame's better. Yes,
I get it, but I had to head that had
a similar schedule and they got in. So they said

(01:30:48):
we're taking a ball and going home. Three two three,
twenty four to twenty three at Chat Benson Show's your
Actual enc Missity Show Grab that podcast, Chat Benson.

Speaker 30 (01:30:56):
Show, Son Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (01:31:18):
The Chat Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:31:20):
Last night sixty minutes head on Trader Green Wait, hold
it Marjorie Taylor Green, And you guys know I feel
about her. I think she was a whack of doo.
I think she said a bunch of stuff. I think
she became a celebrity. I think she enjoyed all of it,
and much like a lot of these people, I don't
think she believed the vast majority of what she said
when it came to the crazy stuff that was being

(01:31:41):
said out there. When it came to that stuff that
got her noticed, and the reason because of the pelebrity world.
We live it, right. It's just it's great for division,
It's great for all the stuff right that we can
fight about. We've talked about. It's great to manipulate and
to grow your audience and to grow your brand, because
that's what it's all about, a brand. But in reality,

(01:32:03):
it's not about the real things. And so she went
on last night to talk about her breakup, if you will,
with the Donald and Maga and leaving Congress.

Speaker 16 (01:32:15):
It wasn't a decision that I came to lightly, but
it was a very important decision for myself and also
for my family.

Speaker 17 (01:32:24):
It was sudden.

Speaker 16 (01:32:26):
It was sudden, but a lot of things changed. I
stood for women who were raped when they were fourteen
years old, and the president that I fought for for
five years called me a trader for that, and so
that changed the landscape of things.

Speaker 17 (01:32:44):
So I'm going to ask you straight out, did you surrender?
Did Donald Trump run you out of town?

Speaker 2 (01:32:51):
No?

Speaker 6 (01:32:52):
Not at all.

Speaker 16 (01:32:53):
Actually, Leslie, it's more like this is I said in
my statement, I will be no one's bead wife, and
I'm meant it, and I won't allow the system to
abuse me anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:33:07):
Interesting, right, So there you go, she's rolling with that.
And you guys know how I feel about the whole
Epstein stuff. I feel like that it was lucy with
the football, not just with Trump, with all things government
about we're going to be transparent and then we weren't.
But yes with this one, because of the chaos surrounding

(01:33:28):
the the this, the lies, the oh there's nothing to
see here, the fact that everybody knew what was happening,
that there was stuff being hidden. Yeah, there. I was
pissed about it, and you know what, so was a
lot of other people, especially a young group of people
we talked about.

Speaker 17 (01:33:45):
You decided not to stay and fight. You decided to.

Speaker 16 (01:33:50):
Give in after a President Trump called me a trader,
I got a pipe bomb threat on my house and
then I got several direct death threats.

Speaker 6 (01:34:00):
On my son, on your son, on my son, you.

Speaker 17 (01:34:03):
Say the president put your life in danger. You blame him.
You say he fueled a hot bed of threats against me,
and that you blame him for the threats against your son.

Speaker 16 (01:34:15):
The subject line for the direct death threats on my
son was his words, Marjorie Trader Green, those are death
threats you directly fueled by President Trump and I told him,
I told jd Vance, I told them all sent those
directly to them, and a response jd Vance replied back
to me, we'll look into it. I got response back

(01:34:37):
from President Trump that I will keep private.

Speaker 6 (01:34:39):
But it wasn't very nice.

Speaker 17 (01:34:40):
Give us a hint of what the President said.

Speaker 6 (01:34:44):
It was extremely unkind.

Speaker 2 (01:34:48):
Yeah, I'm sure it was no doubt about that. She is, uh,
she's picked your battle and this is one that she's
going to go hard at. And it was fun to
watch everybody switch on her. It's cult esque and also
watching how many people can now call her march Retrader green,

(01:35:09):
which makes me laugh because he said it till they
all start parrot, parrot, she said, And again she said
there were a lot of people would be hurt if
the Epstein stuff would come out, And that's a perfect
example of the frustration that I think a lot of
people have with government, that you guys are willing to

(01:35:31):
protect anybody at all costs, as long as it's not
the average person, the big, the powerful, and so we'll
see what happens with that. But then they got into
some other stuff. Okay, first one was about the stuff
we've talked about with her being very divisive Marchie Taylor Green,

(01:35:55):
and she got into it a little bit with Leslie Stall.

Speaker 17 (01:35:57):
Green has built her reputation on fire, tasty combat and
inflammatory insults, like calling President Joe Biden a liar during
the twenty twenty three State of the Union. It's been
five years of almost constant drama.

Speaker 6 (01:36:14):
I think your fake eyelashes are messing up.

Speaker 17 (01:36:18):
With her, adding fuel to the nation's loss of civility.
Then three weeks ago, she went on CNN with a
surprise a Maya Kulpa.

Speaker 6 (01:36:28):
I would like to say, humbly, I'm sorry for taking
part in the toxic politics.

Speaker 17 (01:36:36):
But it became clear to us that she hasn't entirely
lost her appetite for combat.

Speaker 6 (01:36:42):
It's the most toxic political culture.

Speaker 16 (01:36:46):
And it's not helping the America.

Speaker 17 (01:36:48):
But you contributed to that. You you you were out
there pounding insulting people.

Speaker 16 (01:36:54):
Leslie, you've contributed to it as well with your own Yes,
your accusatory, just like you did then.

Speaker 17 (01:37:00):
I know you're accusing me, but I'm smart amusing me.

Speaker 6 (01:37:04):
I am accusing, but we don't have to accuse one another.

Speaker 17 (01:37:07):
I want you to respond to what you have done
in terms of insulting people, yelling at people, and then
saying I'd.

Speaker 6 (01:37:15):
Like for you to respond for that. I don't know
you can respond.

Speaker 17 (01:37:18):
I've done, and so you do.

Speaker 6 (01:37:20):
And the way you question and you are you're accusing
me right now?

Speaker 2 (01:37:25):
Oh now, both, let's be real, both all right. One
side has admitted that she was, you know, disingenuous if
you will. I saw last week that because that's the

(01:37:46):
we've talked about it. That's the world that unfortunately live in.
The algorithms want the anger, they want the outrage, they
want the freaking out, they want the screaming, they want
the yelling. So that's kind of where we're living at.
And she recognized that, moved her up and gave her
name recognition to help build her brand, and she was divisive.
The other side of it is, let's be real, just

(01:38:07):
because you're a journalist, if you will, doesn't mean that
you can't slant things. And we've seen that with the media,
and as we've talked about popularity in the polls, Trump's
way down. Congress of course is awful. The media is
blow all of them as far as trust. And it
isn't the media that is the new world media.

Speaker 3 (01:38:31):
It is.

Speaker 2 (01:38:34):
The old school media. They talked about some other stuff,
though that does matter. Affordability absolutely matters.

Speaker 6 (01:38:41):
Affordability is a real issue.

Speaker 17 (01:38:44):
President says it's not says it's a hoax.

Speaker 16 (01:38:47):
Affordability it's one of the top issues, not only am
my district, it's across the country.

Speaker 17 (01:38:52):
The affordability of health insurance caused Green to side with
the Democrats during the government shutdown to support extending healthcare subsidies.
Did you ever imagine that you would be standing with
the Democrats on the Epstein files and on healthcare subsidies.

Speaker 6 (01:39:11):
No, I never imagine that.

Speaker 17 (01:39:13):
She's not afraid to be an outlier. She's the only
Republican member of Congress to call the war in Gaza
a genocide? And why did you vote against the Anti
Semitism Awareness Act?

Speaker 16 (01:39:28):
Since I've been a member of Congress, We've had several
resolutions that constantly denounce anti Semitism. I've already voted denouncing
anti semitism many times before. It becomes an exercise that
they fores on Congress, and I simply got tired of it.

Speaker 2 (01:39:48):
I agree one hundred percent. It's ridiculous. It's like voting
for puppies. Do you guys like puppies, because if big
puppy's gonna come for you, I mean, it's just Yes,
anti Semitism's bad. Do we really need this? Racism is bad, homophobia,

(01:40:09):
whatever you want to it's all bad translation to be
a dick, Okay, and then we move on. Oh, but
you got to put it in, you know, with the
raise the hand is, I got it and hit that
thing or else. No, then they got to something I
found very interesting, something I know to be true, but
will never be spoken out loud, at least not until

(01:40:30):
either retired or Trump's no longer in the White House.

Speaker 6 (01:40:34):
God bless you, President Trump.

Speaker 17 (01:40:36):
Almost overnight, she's gone from a close Trump friend to foe,
one of the few Republicans willing to take him on.
I'm gonna ask you about this almost solid support he
has among Republicans in Congress. Is there in that support
their Does the support come about because they're afraid that

(01:41:00):
they'll get death threats?

Speaker 16 (01:41:02):
I think they're terrified to step out of line and
get a nasty truth social post on them.

Speaker 17 (01:41:06):
Yes, and then watching what happened to you? Yes, Behind
the scenes, do they talk differently.

Speaker 6 (01:41:15):
Yes, h oh, it would shock people.

Speaker 17 (01:41:20):
Well, let's shock people. Okay.

Speaker 16 (01:41:22):
I watched many of my colleagues go from making fun
of him, making fun of how he talks, making fun
of me constantly for supporting him, to when he won
the primary in twenty twenty four, they all started excuse
ball language, Leslie kissing his ass and decided to put
on a Maga hat for the first time.

Speaker 2 (01:41:44):
Believe it. They're all terrified. They're all terrified, and they
do kiss his ass. And I get a lot of texts,
and I've talked to a lot of people both in Congress,
few Incentive and the people in and around them, and yes,
how they feel privately is not something they're going to

(01:42:04):
talk about. So you're not going to get that because
they're terrified. And they're also worried about where the party
goes from here because what Trump not being there Eventually
and potentially as early as next year, you're going to
find him as a true lame duck and potentially seeing

(01:42:27):
lots of Democrats sweep into office. If they can't turn
some of this stuff around, change the reality, not the narrative,
but the reality of what's going on out there, then
what are you going to have? You're going to have
a blue tsunami and a bunch of people that are
going to be politicians that are disgruntled looking around, going wow,
we paid the price for this, then what we'll see.

(01:42:50):
But they better start thinking about that, and they better
start being honest because the other side of it is,
as I've heard from a lot of voters out there,
do you each and every day, there'll be a reckoning
even after this, Oh yeah, why did you do this

(01:43:11):
when you knew this was happening. Eah, you don't want that.
You don't want that at all. Three two, three, five,

Speaker 12 (01:45:53):
Yes?

Speaker 34 (01:45:53):
You heard that right, because today we are let's make
lunch with the crotchpot. It's a backpacking tool that you
hook on to your belt, put your lunch in, shut
it down your pants, but use your body heat while
you're hiking. So when you get to your destination, you've
got your lunch ready to go, compliments of your crotch heet.
Oh lunch, that's gonna be fun today.

Speaker 17 (01:46:15):
Will the crotch pat be crouching? Actually, not that uncomfortable.

Speaker 2 (01:46:17):
Is that your crotch pot or are you excited to
see me? You're gonna take this thing out and have
some lunch.

Speaker 17 (01:46:22):
Feel like I'm doing something dirty.

Speaker 6 (01:46:23):
The noodles feels like they are cooked.

Speaker 14 (01:46:25):
But how cooked?

Speaker 2 (01:46:26):
How warm are they.

Speaker 34 (01:46:28):
Noodles from my crotch? Let's see cold, They're not hot,
They're just lukewarm.

Speaker 10 (01:46:36):
Lukewarm noodles is kind of my new favorite thing.

Speaker 34 (01:46:38):
Crotchpot verdict, Yeah, I think I'll use it.

Speaker 2 (01:46:41):
Not in my crotch.

Speaker 34 (01:46:42):
I feel like you could cold soak on the outside
of your bag. So that's my verdict. Yeah, I'm here
for it.

Speaker 2 (01:46:48):
There you go, crotch pot. If you're looking for some
thing to get that person that you're like, I don't
know what to get him. I don't know what to
get her. I struggle every year. She's tough to buy for.
He's tough to buy for. She have everything does he have?
And if you think that's some sort of fake thing,
it is not. You can actually look it up. Crotchpot
is real. I had to triple check it, and even

(01:47:10):
now I still think it's can't be real. It's gotta
be fake. Can't be anything called the crotchpot, but if
you go to Gossamer Gear takes less to do more.
They actually have it for sale with twelve five star reviews.
By the way, Crotchpot is the ultimate fuelless, ultra light
