Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
They came, they talked, they left. Nothing has changed, not
right this second. Yesterday, I think the meeting went okay.
The reality of this is it's not as simple as hey,
I'm going to solve it in the first twenty four hours,
as Trump is realizing. The second thing with this is
(00:38):
it is hard to look at somebody like the Pewter
right now and say you've got to do this, this
and this when he doesn't have to do that or that.
While it was going on yesterday, while they're meeting all
(01:00):
around the table, he's hammering Kharkief. He is all of
the cards. I said that last week, all of the
cards trump the Euros. They don't have really any cards.
They just don't. He's making headway. We're not going to,
(01:20):
as I said yesterday, put ourselves in a position where
we decide, hey, you know what we should do. Let's
go out and we'll make our economy worse to try
to protect the Ukrainians, especially when Trump already knows people
are struggling, and he's got a midterm and if things
go sideways in that midterm, he's looking at two years
(01:41):
of not only being a lame duck, but chances are
being impeached again, so not going after China already through
fifty percent on India and they went whatever. So I mean,
but it wasn't bad. But I said there wasn't gonna
this was gonna be easy. I said on Friday, I
said last Thursday, Wednesday, He's not getting a ceasefire. It
(02:04):
isn't going to happen. It isn't going to happen. So
what do we have. Well, we've got a situation where
everybody's coming together. They're trying to find out what the
next strategic point could be where they could come after
this and put some strategy together. But the reality is
this is going to take weeks, if not months, before
(02:26):
they're in the same room together, because that has to
be the goal. If he gets them in the same
room together and they can't come up with something that's
not on Trump, if the Euros give everything they possibly
think they can get from security guarantees to this is
what you get Russia, and he decides, nah, it doesn't matter.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
All of us would obviously prefer an immediate ceasefire while
we work on a lasting piece, and maybe something like
that could happen. As if this moment, it's not happening.
But President Jolinsky and President Putin can talk a little
bit more about.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
That, and that's going to be a them thing. This
is not going to be at the end of the day.
This is not the Europeans country right that they own
Ukraine as a whole. No, it's Ukraine, it's its own nation.
This is not America. This is Ukraine. And they will
have to be the one to figure out how they
(03:28):
move forward, what they're willing to give up, Whether they
want to believe it's something that they should do or
not do, it doesn't matter. You don't have that anymore.
It is not yours. You could say it's yours on
the map, you could say it's an occupied territory, whatever
you want to call it. But the fact is they came,
(03:49):
they took it, and the question is how do we
stop the killing, which is massive. Doing the numbers yesterday,
we're going to talk to Mike l. Lionser military analysts
coming up a little bit one point five million people
either dead or injured. And we're not talking about like
they something fell on their foot and they were in
(04:09):
a cast. We're talking about true massive injuries, not even
counting the kids that were taken. I mean, we go
on and on about this.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
I spoke indirectly with President Puttin today. We're going to
call President Puttin right after this meeting. I'm sure we're
gonna have a solid meeting, good meeting, maybe a great meeting,
and we're going to try and work out a TRYLAT
after that and see if we can get it finished.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Put this to sleep, and that TRYLAT is the meeting
of all of them getting together Trump, Pooter, Zelenski and
coming up with some sort of solution that ends this.
It's not going to be easy. But you know what
didn't happen when Biden was there, any kind of meeting.
(04:57):
You know what didn't happen when Biden was there, anything
that could lead to a potential of even them getting
in the same room and doing stuff. He allowed the
Europeans to kind of handle stuff, and he continued to
funnel all kinds of weapons over there to protect themselves.
But the opportunity for peace is coming because Donald Trump
(05:18):
said I don't like war, so let's get this dead.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
I think it is an important day, a new phase
after three years and half that we didn't see any
kind of sign from the Russian side that there was
a willing for dialogue. So something is changing. Something has
changed thanks to.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
You, because he wants to get it done. Look, I
am critical of Trump all the time, but I know
one thing. He didn't like war because war gets in
the way of business. And if his business was war,
well he would probably like it. His business isn't war.
(05:58):
And I genuinely believe he didn't like people killing each other.
I really believe that morning Joe talking about how extraordinary
was showing that, you know the fact that they're there,
they're all together, they're having a conversation about moving this
war that didn't happen under the last dude.
Speaker 5 (06:18):
As the Wall Street Journal editorial page said, which we're
going to be reading in a minute, the huge takeaway
was this is the first time the President Trump said
there's going to be a security guarantee the United States
is going to be involved their first line of defense
because they're there, they're Europe, but the US will be there.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
As well, which is a big deal. And I saw
Bolton yesterday how Omega like the fact that he said
they're mad meat boots on the ground. Well, that's for
the president to decide I'm surprised he said that, but
if that's what he feels. But you can't get to
peace by telling a country. Look, I know, we promised
you last time that we were going to potentially protect you.
(07:00):
Something happened that didn't happen. Now this has taken place.
They're going to end up getting this land. But we
do promise you that we will back you if indeed
he gets froggy and makes a leap again. We promise
you that, and that includes us, which, like I said, interesting,
I didn't expect that. I mean, we're not there yet,
(07:22):
but that was interesting.
Speaker 6 (07:24):
Yeah, I mean that's a major development, saying the United
States will support this security guarantee that the President has proposed.
Speaker 7 (07:31):
We don't know what it.
Speaker 6 (07:31):
Looks like exactly, but as you say, it was an
extraordinary event just to pause and take the thirty thousand
foot view, to have all the leaders of Europe, of
the Western countries, the leader of NATO, the leader of
the European Commission, traveling to the White House to show
how important this is not just to Ukraine, but to
all of Europe, into the Western world, sending a strong
(07:53):
signal to President Trump, and obviously the tone of the
meeting was completely different than the one when President Zelenski
was breat inside the Oval Office a couple of months
ago by President Trump.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
And by the way, I just want to remind everybody
he went after Zelenski last time. No respect, look at
the way you dress, etca, etcetera. Zelenski dressed to the
nine yesterday. People say, Luke, he's in a T shirt.
He wasn't in a T shirt. He had a what
a black dress shirt on a black coach that was
(08:25):
very smart looking. Right, he was dressed quite well. So
this was definitely a different tone if you're worried about it,
because I even joked around, do you wonder if they're
going to wear a tie this time? In fact, he
was so blacked out, like murdered out, as the kids
would say, uh, he might have even had a black
tie and I couldn't tell. But he was in a
much better position as far as the looks. So if
(08:48):
you wonder about the respect, no, and I say this
fashion wise, I've seen Zelenski in a suit and tie.
He looks aw court okay, just he looks awkward.
Speaker 6 (09:01):
Vice President Vance even the Trump friendly members of the
media showed a little more deference to President Zelenski. But right,
we'll see the devil's in the details. Does Vladimir Putin
really want peace many people are skeptical of that. Or
does he just want to grab the land, which was
the intent of his invasion.
Speaker 7 (09:19):
Three and a half years ago.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
I think he, Well, it really depends until financially it
gets too uncomfortable for him, or eventually the people turn
and say you're killing our future for this. I don't
know if he wants peace and the other side of it.
One thing is not being talked about is war itself
(09:45):
and his justification to come back and say we got
just this and this without coming back as a hero.
There is always that potential. When you live by the sword,
you may die by the sword. So you better make
sure that when you come back, you've got a mountable
feast for everyone to justify what you did. Yeah, just
(10:07):
saying we shall see again. Michaelin's going to join us
here at bottom of the hour. Talk about this three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson show. Is
your extra instat Meanwhile, if you guys didn't hear, they're back,
A quorum is present, A quorum is present, redistricting can
now begin.
Speaker 8 (10:29):
Democratic legislators met with cheers from supporters as many of
them returned after more than fifty Democratic lawmakers left the
state to avoid voting on new congressional maps. The Republican
drawn maps, pushed by President Trump to favor Republicans in
the upcoming midterm elections. States withdraw maps every ten years
(10:49):
after the census. Democrats blasting Trump for pushing for a
new map early to preserve GOP control of the House.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
So they're back. What does it mean it's going to
get on? What does that mean? It means there's not
a lot that the Democrats could do. Now it's on
to California. Can California finally do something where they get
it on the ballot fast enough that they get it
voted on and that they could then redraw for next year?
(11:20):
And this is what we have now, we have tit
for tat and this is going to go on. I
think a lot more. Indiana, several other states are looking
at this. This isn't good for democracy, the fact that
they're picking us and we're not picking them. But alas
here we are. Next up California three two, three, five eight,
twenty four to twenty three at she had Benson shows

(13:12):
because Hurricane Erin is a coming. Now it's time for
the Chad Action News Weather reports when Weather Weather's we
weather the storm. Oh we do weather the storm, and
weather is weathering.
Speaker 9 (13:29):
Evacuations are underway in North Carolina's Outer Bank, says Hurricane
Eron makes its way towards the East coast.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Most people here are taken it pretty seriously.
Speaker 9 (13:38):
John Betsker says some of his neighbors plan to ride
out the storm, but he is heating the warnings.
Speaker 10 (13:44):
I've been told by other people that you know, the
surface quite a bit higher already, and it's expected to double.
Speaker 9 (13:51):
Weaves are forecast to reach ten to fifteen feet and
even twenty feet in some areas. Life Threatening rip currents
are expected from Florida to.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Don't go in the water right now, you're gonna get
the surfers right like surfer surfers like you know, there
are guys that do this for a living. They hunt
for these things. They're not these kind of waves right
when they're hunting for storms like this. They're hunter hunting
in Mavericks places like that, where they're looking for a
story high several story high waves, not eight to ten feet.
(14:25):
This is nasty, nasty, nasty, you know. I mean, let's
be real, Aaron, she's she's a bigger girl.
Speaker 11 (14:33):
This is a huge hurricane was actually over the weekend
one of the most quickly developing hurricanes on record. It
went from a tropical storm to a Category five hurricane
basically in twenty four hours. It is just rapidly intensified.
And it of course has gone down since then. But
this has been putting so much energy into the ocean
that that really mixes around all of the water, even
(14:55):
though it's the ocean.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
And what do we tell you guys, right because we
love you, do not mess with nature, because when you
mess with nature is what is it? Nature messes you up.
You're absolutely correct, it messes you up and it can,
so don't do it, and there will be people that
will test the waves and get out there in the
(15:18):
rip current.
Speaker 11 (15:19):
Anytime you get above six foot of a wave, it's dangerous.
When you're talking about eight to twelve feet, that can
even be dangerous for surfers. And then we're talking about
the Outerbank Seene the maximum potentially of fifteen to twenty
plus foot waves. So yes, there are going to be
very dangerous rip currents there, but you shouldn't even be
getting in the water when you're talking about those waves
because those waves will kill you.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
Let me tell you who wins almost all of the time.
Speaker 12 (15:43):
Nature.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
You heard it here first, right here on the Ched
Benson Show. Was reading a story the other day about
how many people are going out to Death Valley because
of the extreme heats that are on a level that
very few will ever see in their lifetime, and they
go out there because they want to push themselves. You
(16:05):
mess with nature, Nature can mess with you right back.
Nature messing you up. It does. I'm just letting you
guys know that coming up, our buddy Mike Lin's is

Speaker 2 (18:04):
At the time of the week, we talked to the
best damn military analysts in the business, Mike Lions, retired
major in the Army and like I said, the greatest,
best damn military cat in the business. We talk about
all of this chaos going off. Let's start with Friday.
Mike Friday, what do you make of it? You know,
the craziness of the media is like, oh, he gave
Pootin everything he wanted. At what point in time do
(18:27):
we realize you got to talk to the guy who's
got all the cards if you're going to get something done.
Speaker 13 (18:31):
Yeah, morning, Chad, no question, That's how I took it
as well. The media was looking for you know, not
looking for Trump to succeed on any level. But you
know the bottom line is you have to talk to
your adversaries.
Speaker 7 (18:44):
You had to start with something.
Speaker 13 (18:47):
They were concerned about rolling out the red carpet and
all these other kinds of things. Look, the best thing
was the B two fly over and the fact that
Vladimir Putin got a chance to look at the sound
and hear the sound of freedom as he met as
he met the president, and then they obviously talked about
something in order to have this second meeting that took
place now yesterday with regards as European leaders.
Speaker 7 (19:09):
So I think it was a good start. It was
a good ways to.
Speaker 13 (19:13):
Get things going and something really only Donald Trump could
have done at this point in time in history.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
Yeah, you know, it's funny, that's what Marloney said. This
isn't happening without him because he's willing to talk. Last guy,
he didn't even I can't even remember any opportunity where
he put out there for them to meet in some way,
shape or form.
Speaker 13 (19:34):
And a lot of it has to do with the
people he surrounded himself with that were trying to figure
it out as they were going along, and you know,
maybe they were trying to be Cold War type warriors
or I don't know. The fact that they're talking about
it now on television to me is you know, they
should set this one out. Jake Sullivan and those people
that were that were in charge for the last four
(19:56):
years that did nothing to try to stop this conflict
between Ukraine and Russia.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Talking to my clients military analysts, as we talked about yesterday,
and we'll get to a lot of different stuff, but
let's be real. If you're putin, let's just sit in,
let's get issues for a second. Why at this moment
in time would you want to stop Yesterday while they're meeting,
he's hammering Karkief. He's got no reason at this moment
(20:20):
to stop trying to grab as much land as possible
because he does hold all the cards.
Speaker 13 (20:25):
Yeah, I totally agree with that, and I'm not sure
there's enough leverage on him to stop. Even with that
great meeting yesterday and the fact that the United States
and Europe are aligned now and that you know, the
world changed in the last six months from that initial
meeting that Telenski had with Trump in the Oval Office
to what went on yesterday. But there's still the issue
(20:45):
out there that Russia does not appear to have anything
in their way to keep this going, and they could
win a war of attrition.
Speaker 7 (20:54):
So whether or not that happens now we will see.
Speaker 13 (20:58):
We will see where in the United States and Ukraine
and Russia take this next step, which is I guess
a trilateral type of negotiation. But all it seems as
though all the pieces are in place right now. But again,
Vladimir Putin, I don't think there's enough leverage on him
to get him to stop anytime soon.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
Let's actually continue with the pooter. Could you see a
point where they just eventually I mean, I'm hearing the
averages in some areas are forty plus and sixty plus
in certain areas. As far as defending, it reminds you
of Berlin when you look at what they're protecting Berlin,
Tian kids and old men with broomsticks. Could you see
a point where he breaks through enough that he could
(21:38):
maybe put a charge on to Kiev and all of
a sudden, this is all for not.
Speaker 13 (21:44):
I don't see that, and that's because he doesn't appear
to have brought enough troops to the battlefield as well.
Russia has fought this conflict very poorly. From just a
straight military perspective. There's no generals within the Russian military
that are going to be written about as being innovative
or anything like that when it comes to this conflict.
(22:05):
There was multiple opportunities Russia had over the past three
years to make that breakout as your point, as you
point out, the most vulnerable area was from the north,
from through Belarus, it's the shortest distance ta Kiev. There
they completely abandoned that idea. They allowed the Ukraine military
to have a counter offensive in the west, to the
to the north and to the to the.
Speaker 7 (22:26):
East there so and they still i'll say.
Speaker 13 (22:30):
Wallowing a Novacaine in the south, Mariopal and those places
still in the Dome Bass and she had a time
So so I don't think Russia could still mass correctly
the amount of troops that would take to do something
like that, and it would be a wind up that
would take six to nine months for them to do that. Then,
Plus in today's world, the enemy would see you know
(22:51):
that that kind of offensive operation coming, So we Ukraine,
the military and the Western Powers would see Russia trying
to do that. So I don't see that happening.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Talking to my clients military analysts as we talk about
all things that are going on globally, lots of conflicts.
Yesterday's meeting, I think, obviously was much better than the
first meeting that he had anywhere near the Oval office
or whatnot. Zelenski. He did dress up for it. That
was always a win. But I was surprised that Trump,
you know, talking about security for Ukraine, even said that
(23:22):
we would be a part of it with boots on
the ground, which I think surprised a lot of people
that he said that.
Speaker 13 (23:28):
Well, I don't believe that will be the final US
participation in that security agreement if it gets to that point.
I'm still looking to this to be very similar to
the dat and accords back between Bosnia and Serbia nineteen
ninety five, and well, then we had boots on the ground,
we had a different kind of military, different kind of
conflict in some ways. But I see the United States
(23:51):
providing the air cover intelligence collection, you know, the overall
setting command in control of this, but you have both
the UK and the French deciding that they are willing
to put their troops in the mud right now, and
I think that's something we should be signing up for.
Speaker 7 (24:06):
I think you're going.
Speaker 13 (24:07):
To need the US and government Senate House support in
order to do this, because I think this could.
Speaker 7 (24:15):
Also still go badly.
Speaker 13 (24:16):
The Russians could decide that they would like to take
on a French company that exists in the Dome Bass
if they're doing some kind of security mission. Does that
mean that triggers Article five. I think that we've got
to make sure that those guidelines are very clear and
with regard to whether all these NATO countries are involved.
The other thing too, Chad about yesterday's meeting, there were
(24:38):
some notable NATO members absent. I thought, I mean Canada,
for one long time NATO member, they're not part of
this equation.
Speaker 7 (24:46):
You didn't see the Poles there.
Speaker 13 (24:48):
I think Poland there would have potentially stuck more in
the eye of Vladier Putin as well as clearly Poland
is one of our greatest NATO allies right now and
doing all the just support to help Ukraine.
Speaker 7 (25:02):
But I think at some point Poland's going to.
Speaker 13 (25:04):
Want to see at that table with regards to their
contribution as well.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
I feel like Poland's kind of look at the Russians
and saying, you guys are punks. If you want some
of this, we will give you whatever you want.
Speaker 13 (25:15):
Yeah, and they have become a better NATO ally than Germany. However,
I'll tell you this, the German Chancellor Mertz has done
a tremendous job. He's not in Angela Merkel, that's for sure.
He wants to get involved. He pressured yesterday this concept
of a ceasefire, which you could argue that the President did,
you know, kind of backtrack on that.
Speaker 7 (25:36):
That would be important.
Speaker 13 (25:37):
But Germany, this is going to be a different country,
I think under his leadership, and it's going to be
much more security facing. You know, it's been eighty years
since that German war machine has been cranked up, and
I think that you know that can't be concerned that
they're going to do something like that again and start,
you know, the Third World War into Germany. But I
think the German leader did a very good job yesterday
(25:58):
as well.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
Talking to Mike Lines, military analyst's talk about Ukraine. We'll
get to some Israel stuff here and I want to
talk about some China stuff come up little bit. When
I look at this, I saw all those people there.
The Finn I thought was, you know, because you know,
Pooter didn't want NATO, and then all of a sudden
NATO came to him in a way that you know,
I don't think he realized. But the Zelenski and Pooter
(26:20):
have to get in the same room at some point
in time. That's one thing I don't think. You know,
we're trying to come to some sort of agreement with
the two people who have to make the agreement not
in the same room. Do you think that's gonna happen.
Speaker 7 (26:32):
I don't.
Speaker 13 (26:32):
I think that a lot of this will become more
back channel. I think that these these will get resolved
by staffers, let's say, and Marco Rubio would cough, these guys,
you know, kind of doing all the heavy lifting with
regard to the details. If that ever takes place, it
will be really the final thing. But I'm not sure
(26:54):
we're going to see the monoc the bag and Jimmy
Carter on warsa Dot moment of all three of them
shaking hands, the President, Putin and Zelensky. Putin is pretty
sworn against Selensky, is you know, part of his maximalst
goals is to get rid of his government, have an election,
and install that puppet regime there. So I'm not sure
you're going to get to that spot, but you'll likely
(27:16):
see some kind of agreement.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
You know. One of the things I was talking about
today I talked about last night, we forget that Putin
is you know, lived by the sword, die by the sword.
You come back with no spoils, no feast for everybody,
and you killed a lot of your future. That doesn't
make him popular there. He's got to make sure he
gets a whole bunch of something to say this is
(27:41):
why I am who I am, because otherwise he weakens himself.
Speaker 7 (27:45):
I think so.
Speaker 13 (27:46):
But he still controls the narrative that exists inside of Russia.
So with a country that's eleven time zones very disparate,
it's somewhat easier to do. He can concentrate where he
administerres as propaganda, and I think, you know, go back
to this whole issue between you know, Trump and Russia
the country.
Speaker 7 (28:06):
If Trump can.
Speaker 13 (28:07):
Figure out a way to divide and keep Russia away
from China and have a better relationship with Russia, there's
been multiple opportunities you saw. I mean, look, Hillary Clinton
tried the reset button, all that stuff that took place,
and you know, post nine to eleven, Russia was going
to help us in Afghanistan. If we're going to have
a functional relationship with Russia, it's got to start somewhere.
(28:28):
So I applaud President Trump trying to fix that as well,
try to draw them away from China and get it
out of the military realm. And it's it's similar to
what Obama, I guess, tried to do with Iran. But
I just think this this time, there's really more opportunity
to get to be you know, to be successful in
that mission.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
Let's talk about China. Everybody's focused on obviously Israel in
the Middle East, and you've got what's going on obviously
with Ukraine and whatnot. China's quietly over there. They're doing
their thing, you know, they run their military exercises and whatnot.
It's going to be interesting to see if they have
any kind of frog in them and want to make
(29:06):
a leap.
Speaker 13 (29:09):
I think they look at this situation going on in Ukraine,
like the fact that the United States is distracted by
it and will not necessarily do anything.
Speaker 7 (29:21):
Under President Trump.
Speaker 13 (29:22):
You heard Trump say that she wouldn't wouldn't attack Taiwan
while he's president. That's probably somewhat true. I'm not surprised
that the Chinese premier would want Trump to say that,
But they continue to still have tremendous military power there.
There's you know, the US Australians, the joint forces that
(29:43):
are conducting almost daily exercises now. Are both sides projecting power.
I'd be more afraid of, you know, kind of a
Gulf of Tonkin situation where some captain on a Chinese
vessel makes the wrong decision and shoots at a US
carrier does something, and there's some kind of tragedy. So
there's going to be a lot of itchy trigger fingers
(30:04):
taking place in the Pacific right now, and it's going
to take cooler heads to prevail because that still is
probably a bigger tinderbox than anything right now.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
Talking to my client's military analysts as we talk about
all things military, as things are heating up globally, Mike Israel,
Gaza Hamas nightmare, what the hell's going on? And is
this coming to an end at any time soon?
Speaker 13 (30:27):
You know, it's coming to the end of that conflict,
And until BB finds somebody from Hamas that says we surrender.
Speaker 7 (30:36):
He's not going to stop.
Speaker 13 (30:37):
It's going to take his government, his pulp, heuro and
or his cabinet to get him to kind of get
off that, because he also knows that for Israel to
get off this war footing that they're doing right now,
he's likely not the leader of the country after that.
Speaker 7 (30:52):
Going forward.
Speaker 13 (30:54):
I think the US is a little distracted in that.
There's no question Donald Trump would love to help the
rebuild of Gaza and of that situation, and he looks
as he looks at everything as a real estate transaction.
But you know, there's just no way from Bbe's perspective
that he could stop as long as some moss holes
those sausages. And so that's the stellmate that exists there.
(31:17):
And I don't think that he's going to change anytime soon.
It's going to take a lot more political pressure for
him to change.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
He's the best round. Michael Lion's military analyst, retired major
in the Army. Thanks so much, brother, Do it again
next week.
Speaker 7 (31:28):
Jet sounds good. Thanks for having me.
Speaker 2 (31:29):

it's less, simple and easy. Cross sports, you can pick
a sport you want to keep. With football, you might
say Joe Burrow, I think he's gonna throw for more
than two hundred and thirty eight yards. That's a pick.
(32:15):
You might look over here and say, you know what,
I believe that Jared Goff is going to have more
than two touchdown passes. That's a pick. It's more, it's less.
It's that simple price pick is simple and easy. You
could pick more or less on two to six player stats,
so you're not picking teams or any of that stuff.

Benson Show, Welcome.
Speaker 14 (33:12):
To chest No, not the Country, the Institution, The Chat
Benson Show, Great Heaven, Miken.
Speaker 2 (33:19):
If you miss that, make sure you cramp the paodcast.
My clients are military, and I was talking about all
things militarily. He could use a little freshening up. Though
we can all do that each and every day, we
like to do something we call Urban Word of the Day.
It helps us understand what's going on with the youth
of America. While we speak the same language, we don't
always speak the same language.
Speaker 12 (33:38):
Now it's time for the urban word of the day.
Speaker 2 (33:42):
The young have a vocabulary all their own, and we
break it down for you.
Speaker 12 (33:46):
It's called the urban word of the day.
Speaker 2 (33:50):
All right, your urban word of the day. I like
this one. I think yesterday, whether it be Trump or
Marlone or any of the people at the table, they
all have their hypemen somebody who's gassing for them. That's
exaggerating someone else's abilities, accomplishments, or qualities. Each and every
(34:11):
one of those people yesterday don't need anybody talk about
how amazing they are. Okay, they don't need any more gassing. Ooh,
I like that yet, right, gassing is your urban word
of the day.
Speaker 12 (34:27):
That was the urban word of the day.
Speaker 2 (34:30):
Now, you know, it's always good to know it is.
One time I didn't know, and then I looked foolish.
Now I know. Yesterday I got a couple tweets and
texts about Marjorie Taylor Green and we were playing that
stuff of her talking about APAC and this insanity that
goes on with APAC and these Christian dispensationalists who think
(34:57):
that somehow that they're going to bring about the end
of the world. And the rapture and whatnot, and we're
probably gonna get to some of those next hour because
I find them fascinating. The whole thing to me is fascinating.
This battle that is going on that is quite frankly bizarre.
So you've got two wars being waged, if you're one
(35:20):
is what's happening in the actual war in Gaza, and
the other one is what's happening when it comes to
the pr It's gonna be interesting. We'll talk about that
next hour three two, three, five, eight, twenty four to
twenty three at Chadminson Shows, Your Extra Insta. All the
other things right here in the Chadminson Show coming out
(35:41):
next hour. Like I said, a ton of stuff to
get to, including more on Texas redistricting. Also, interesting thing
that happened in Nevada when it comes to a sting
that took place to catch child sex predators. They were
(36:03):
all charged, but one of them had apparently a get
out of jail and get out of the country card,
and that person played it and people are starting to
ask questions, Oh, what is this all about. We'll talk
about that some Epstein stuff as well as well as
more on Zelensky in the meeting yesterday Pumicity Show. Read
the podcast. It is the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (36:23):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 12 (36:52):
Will they give.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
Ukraine security guarantees? Yes or no? Will there be a
SE's yes or no? I don't know. What I do know, though,
is when all is said and done and they get
to the actual brass tacks of the negotiations between country A,
(37:14):
we'll call them Russia, Country B we'll call them Ukraine.
The reality of that is those two are going to
be the ones that have to settle it now. We
can help. By we, I mean us in the European
community and whatnot. There's only so much we can do.
We talked to Mikelines, our military analysts last hour, and
he put it straight out there. There is nothing right
(37:38):
now that America or anybody can really do to force
the hand of the pooter. This is his game. He
can go for as long as he wants at this
moment in time, and that's the big issue the Ukrainians.
They're over it. I want you to listen to This
is a poll that came out juxtapost that from the
(38:00):
the other poll that came out right after the war started.
Speaker 15 (38:03):
There have been some absolutely major shifts. The idea that
Ukraine's going to achieve complete victory. That idea has collapsed
within Ukrainian society. What are we talking about here, Ukrainians
on the war versus Russia. You go back to twenty
twenty two, the start of the war, fight until Ukraine wins.
Look at this, the vast majority, about three quarters seventy
three percent agreed with that position. Negotiate to end the
war as soon as possible, only twenty two percent.
Speaker 16 (38:25):
Look at where we are now, it's a complete flip.
It's the inverse. Now, sixty nine percent want to negotiate
to end the war as soon as possible, compared to
just twenty four percent who want to fight until Ukraine wins.
That's a forty nine point drop in this position. Now,
of course, negotiating to end the war as soon as possible,
that's a bit more nuanced, right, Ukrainians don't want to
agree to rush all of Russia's demand, But I think
(38:46):
the idea of even there being some territory that would
be not formally recognized as being given that Russia could
in fact stay, and that does have majority sport, but
the idea of formal recognition of Russia's demands absolutely not.
Speaker 2 (38:59):
It's it's not going to happen where they just go, fine,
you take that land, we get security, and it's just
not going to happen that way. I think a lot
of people would like that. Seems like the easy thing
to do, by the way. Inside of there, it's funny.
I was talking to somebody yesterday. Everybody wants to blame
Zelenski for everything, right, and I just sit there and go, okay,
(39:21):
well I can't. I can't with you. But what is
it now? Well he put that in there that there
has to be a referendum. No he didn't. He came
into power in twenty nineteen. The referendum inside of their
constitution that they voted on that says that the people
will have to vote on whether or not they were
(39:42):
going to seed land that came into being in nineteen
ninety six, twenty three ish years before he assumed the mantle.
But it doesn't matter. People don't listen to that. The
question is going to be what kind of guarantee that
was the big deal? Are there going to be guarantees
(40:05):
for Ukraine if they give up this whatever you want
to call it, seed the land, it's at least with
an option to continue to steal it from us, whatever
you want to call it. What guarantees do we provide
them if they can indeed come to some sort of
agreement where they decide to actually have peace. Part of
(40:30):
that is going to be based on whether or not
US in Europe, going back to ass is.
Speaker 17 (40:34):
Up the agreement that the Coalition of Willing countries that's
thirty countries already working together on security guarantees, will now
work with the US on those guarantees, coordinating and we
have already commissioned our teams to do the detailed further
work on that.
Speaker 2 (40:52):
But that's getting them to the table. That's a lot
easier talking about it than actually getting it done. As
we talked to our military guy last air, my clients,
he said, right now, there's no reason for him. What's
the reason. Financially it's gotten a little tighter, but India
is still buy an oil, China is still buy an
(41:13):
oil and they're not going to stop doing that. Those
are the two biggies that are propping them up. So
what are we going to do? What is that persuasion
to get him to come to the table and say,
all right, I'm ready to do this. As you said,
big day, right, having everyone together in that.
Speaker 18 (41:33):
Room unpresent in some ways to come together that quickly.
Speaker 2 (41:36):
But you have to be deeply skeptical.
Speaker 18 (41:38):
You're dealing with a KGB trained dictator, right who has
no problem right standing up to anybody if it suits
his interests. And so the key is the next steps here.
What happens next? Is there a summit? The overnight attacks
just tells me exactly what Putin does not like having
us back against the wall, and he's going to he's
going to continue to act out. The security guarantees are essential.
(42:01):
But remember we were talking days ago about sanctions, right,
which I think you have to make sure we keep
that pressure on. I remember President Trump said sanctions cease fire.
There were certain preconditions. All those have gone to the
wayside right now, and hopefully this is a good replacement.
But I think we have to keep the pressure on
because Putin only responds to strength. This is not a
(42:22):
guy who responds at all to rolling out the red carpet,
as we saw the other day.
Speaker 2 (42:27):
And we don't have anything for him. Sanctions and the
most sanctions nation on the planet. What are we going
to do? There's twenty thousand sanctions, so what's the next step.
I don't know, more sanctions. Well, we've said we're not
going to sanction China anymore, and we put fifty percent
sanctions on India and they didn't even blink. So no
(42:49):
sanctions to China, right. The third party sanctions, the tariffs
whatever however they want to hit them. Who knows what
they wanted to do. Those would, in theory, potentially force
those nations to stop buying oil and propping up the
war machine, and in doing that would force them eventually
(43:14):
because their economy would slow down to the point where
he would have no choice but to come to the table.
But in doing that, we would put ourselves in a
position where we would get hurt financially, and Trump already
in a battle when it comes to the numbers and
what may take place next year, and historical you go
(43:34):
back and look at the history of what we tend
to do when one party has power on everything the midterms,
there tends to be a switch. You're already dealing with
that issue. You don't want to be in a position
where you're looking up going Okay, so let me get
this right. The economy has slowed down, we haven't really
(43:56):
stopped the wars, and now the Democrats have used that
against me. They have taken over, and I'm going to
spend the next two years as his lame duck president
doing what fending off Democrats inquiries, who knows what else,
and probably an impeachment. So he's not going to hurt
(44:18):
our economy to help the Ukrainians. We'll find out. It's
a long way. Maybe there's something in there that is
something that Putin wants tremendously that Trump can help persuade
him to do, but he is't gonna at this moment time.
(44:38):
I think come to the table with anything else other
than being able. I think the best thing, honestly is
maybe saying, hey, we spoke to Zelenski. If you're willing
to come to the table and do a peace talk
with him, and you get piece done, he will step
down as the president, the minute piece is chief, and
(45:02):
then they can hold an election, which, as Mike lions
our military ounds puts it, and we've talked about it
as well, it's pretty simple. He wants his own puppet
group in part to run Ukraine, so he essentially runs
it without having to run it. See Belarus and many
(45:22):
of the other nations that he is currently standing over
and running even though he's not quote unquote running it
three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
three atch had bent to show is your ex your Insta, YouTube, Facebook,
and mor yesterday If you guys haven't heard tahause that's
Texas kids. They got back to kind of business. I think.
(45:45):
I think it's the best way. The quorum is here.
It's here at last, Thank God almighty, it's here at last.
A quorum is present. What is that mean? Well, now
they can get to the business of redistricting, which is
what is going to happen. And the Democrats couldn't stop it.
(46:08):
They never could. They did the things they thought they
needed to do to bring awareness to everybody, but the
reality is this was always going to happen.
Speaker 19 (46:16):
Well, Democrats say they've essentially accomplished all they can, that
they've wokened the nation up to the realities of what's
going on in Texas, but they can't change the map.
Speaker 6 (46:24):
The other good thing we bought by breaking quorum is
now the people of Texas know what these maps.
Speaker 19 (46:28):
Look like it's possible that they try something else, But
at this stage, it looks like enough Democrats will be
there for this session to continue, for the process to
essentially begin now in the Texas House of Representatives as
it's already played out in the Senate, to redraw the
maps in a very dramatic way, in an extraordinary way,
in the middle of the decade, to redraw those maps
(46:49):
in a way that as many as five additional Republicans
would be added to the delegation.
Speaker 14 (46:52):
Democrats don't do mid decade redistricting without census data.
Speaker 1 (46:56):
We play fair and we play by the rules.
Speaker 14 (46:59):
But if they're going to change the rules, we'll meet
them on the field.
Speaker 19 (47:02):
Democrats are saying that they won this battle by getting
people to pay attention by highlighting the inequities here, but
it does look like they're going to lose the war
because they still don't have the votes. They still don't
have the real political power to stop what Republicans are
trying to do in their state.
Speaker 2 (47:16):
And by the way, I want to remind everybody, they
didn't break the law, they didn't break the rules. They
did something that you don't normally do. The Republicans in Texas,
but it wasn't illegal. It may be uncouth, but it
wasn't illegal. And now everybody looks over and says, all right, California,
(47:38):
what are you going to do? The problem with California
is most Californians, Democrat or Republican, are against this. They're
not excited about because they have to hold up essentially
a vote. They've got to get it on the ballot
for November. Hold a vote so they can try to
(47:59):
get red interesting done and get the new districts if
you will in play for next November. And I don't
think that's gonna happen because I think most Californias are like, nah, No,
I don't think so. So we'll see. It's gonna be interesting.
Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson Show is your extra instant YouTube,

They're trying to get to your data. Da da dada.
You can't allow that to happen. Webroot is here to

Speaker 2 (49:50):
So the hope that Epstein would go away apparently didn't
happen the way they thought it was going to happen.
And the region is simple. You sent everybody away, but
the story stay. When they come back, they'll have to
deal with. Yes, the blowback, it's not going away.
Speaker 20 (50:05):
We're having really good conversations. You have to understand how
many you can imagine how many documents there are. I
think that we're going to have the I think we'll
receive the documents very say they're compiling everything together. I
think we're working together in a good faith effort and.
Speaker 7 (50:25):
Everything's coming along.
Speaker 20 (50:26):
I expect to receive the documents very very soon.
Speaker 2 (50:29):
That's James Comber yesterday. The documents. By the way, what's
left out of the documents? I'm curious. I mean Tim
Burchett here in Tennessee said, how there's any documents left
at this point in time, and how they weren't destroyed,
especially the stuff that people would probably want to see,
is beyond me. I mean, there's no doubt that this
is a insane nightmare for the Trump administration. But this
(50:51):
is what happens when you push things out there that
people called conspiracy theories, and you promised to become transparent.
The most transparent is and then lo and behold, you're
not as transparent as you said you were. And now
it's biting in the ass.
Speaker 21 (51:06):
So they'll at least begin receiving these files on Friday. Frankly,
this interview that the Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche did
with Jeffrey Epstein's former associate Gaila Maxwell, we haven't seen
the transcript of that. We know a transcript exists. We
also haven't heard any audio of that. So there's been
a lot of pressure on DJ to release the audio
and the transcript.
Speaker 2 (51:26):
On top of that, so that we know nothing about
And remember, she was moved to a facility that she
should never have been moved to at all, but she was,
so she got a club fed deal where they moved
her somewhere else. Because of that, people are still asking
the question, how did she get this? What's the next step?
And oh, by the way, what about you know the
(51:48):
suicide Because one of the things that they're doing is
they're going to subpoena Bill Barr.
Speaker 21 (51:53):
This is all part of a number of subpoenas that
Chairman colemar has issued to whether it be the former
Attorney general and Hillary Clinton. Bill Clinton for example, as
part of their probe to the Jeffrey Epstein files in
the handling of the files. So now we don't know
exactly what Bill Barr said, but we do know that
Trump's first Justice Department looked in to Jeffrey Epstein whether
(52:16):
or not he committed suicide in twenty nineteen.
Speaker 2 (52:18):
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson Show, is your ex your Insta, YouTube, Facebook,
and more? Right here on the Chad Benson.
Speaker 21 (52:26):
Show, Bill Barr, of course determined that that was the case.
Speaker 2 (52:33):
Do you really believe that? Because I don't believe that,
and I think most of you listening right now don't
believe that, And there's too much eightiness that has gone on,
and the look isn't a good look, not quite as
transparent as we are promised. Let me know what you think.
One of the other things about this, just to give
(52:54):
you an example of the powers that be, because a
lot of this is, you know, they talk about what's
going on with Israel and the masade and is there
something influencing our politics greatly? So over the weekend, the
story broke out of Nevada that eight people arrested for
trying to lure children online into having sex with grown men.
(53:20):
Eight people arrested. One of them, Tom Alexandrovitch, is a
senior official with the Israeli National Cyber Director. He was
released and then flew back to Israel and has been
charged by the way, not pending charges have been filed,
and he was still allowed to go back to Israel.
(53:43):
By the way, he works directly under bb Net Yahu,
who came out and said they questioned him and let
him go. That's not true. Everywhere the charges have been filed.
Yet he was allowed to leave the United States of America.
He wasn't even here on a diplomatic visa. You don't
find that strange? Are you blanket kidding me?
Speaker 22 (54:04):
It is.
Speaker 2 (54:05):
I'm telling you, guys, there's so much more to this
and the influence that this country has over us, potentially
even playing into Epstein Choot, you're missing a show by
the podcast Chat.
Speaker 1 (54:18):
Benson Show, Son, Chad Benson, Joe, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (54:43):
Several of you were chiming in about what we just
talked about about the wackadoo who got released out of Nevada,
who was a cyber specialist underneath Bebe got caught up
in a child sex sting operation and they let him
(55:05):
go home. We'll talk about that a little bit more
in a bit. But just a while ago, the Trumpster
on the phone with Fox Shocker.
Speaker 22 (55:12):
I wouldn't say they are ever going to be best friends,
but they're doing okay, and we're just going to see.
So we're setting up a meeting.
Speaker 1 (55:20):
I sort of.
Speaker 22 (55:20):
Set it up with Putin and Zelensky, and you know,
they're the ones that have to call the shots where
we're seven thousand miles away. In a fairness, you know,
we have. We've spent through the previous administration three hundred
and fifty billion dollars. Europe has spent a lot also
one hundred billion. But it should be reversed. If we
(55:41):
should have been in for anything, but it wouldn't have happened,
so that would have been much better because so many
people died. This is the biggest This is the biggest
bad situation since World War Two. There's been nothing even close.
Speaker 2 (55:53):
Well, I think the War on Terror might have something
to say about that. By the way, Europe has spent
more money over all than we have. We are the
largest single donor. Obviously We're a little bit bigger than say,
Great Britain, the UK, France. We've spent a ton of money.
(56:15):
People got rich, people always do in situations like this,
And I just the more that I think about, the
more I think, Man, if I'm pootin, there's just no
reason at this moment in time, there's no reason to
(56:35):
come to the table. I gotta come, I gotta hang out,
gotta you know, have a conversation about the potential of
what might happen. And right now the cards are all
mine and my cards are rosy, and your cards, well,
they're not very good. Just saying three two, three five
(57:00):
react Yed Menson show is your extra insta? Meanwhile, are
you good with your friends? M I say this because
while we don't date, apparently people will spend a whole
bunch of money to hang out with pals.
Speaker 23 (57:13):
I will have the side.
Speaker 12 (57:15):
Talent And what would that be on the side of
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (57:21):
Why don't you just put it right here next.
Speaker 1 (57:23):
To my water.
Speaker 24 (57:23):
We've recently covered how more than half of gen zers
spend zero dollars a month on dates, but a new
study finds it's a different story when it comes to
something researchers called the Friendship tab. It looks at how
our finances impact what we spend to see our friends.
If you thought fomo fear of missing out was just
a bogus term, a new Ally Bank study might change
(57:47):
your mind. Researchers surveyed one thousand gen zers and millennials
and found many feel pressure to spend on social connections
even when money is tight. In fact, forty two percent
said they overspent on activities with friends not friends. The
TV show but very fitting considering this scene where Rachel,
(58:07):
Phoebe and Joey couldn't afford a fancy dinner.
Speaker 12 (58:10):
Thirty three fifty apiece. No huh, no way, sorry, not
gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (58:16):
Yeah, I uh. It is interesting when it comes to
the dating thing. So the kids aren't dating younger generation,
but they are spending money to go hang out with
their pals. And it's not just men, it's women, it's both.
And they're spending at times an ungodly amount of month
(58:38):
to do things, not dating, but just hang out.
Speaker 24 (58:43):
On average, people spend about two hundred and fifty dollars
a month on activities with friends over six months. That
adds up men spend about seventeen hundred, while women spend
about twelve hundred, But forty four percent of participants said
they've skipped major social media because of costs, and one
and four say their social spending makes it hard to
(59:04):
save money. In a press release, Allies head of Money
Wellness encouraged people to be honest with friends about finances,
saying many might be in the same boat.
Speaker 2 (59:15):
You know, there's an interesting article out there today. I
think it's on CNN. It's been on a couple other
things talking about the are you a bad friend because
a lot of people are skipping doing things and they
(59:35):
want to blame it on you make a plan and
then you decide you don't want to do it, which happens.
I mean, I'm guilty of that all the time. It
sounds really cool, right, Oh yeah, two weeks from now
Friday night, Yeah, I'm all about it. But then you
get there and you realize, oh, we got to do
that thing tomorrow night. I'm exhaust I've been doing all
these kind of things. It's you start to realize, er,
(01:00:00):
that's me. So you guys should know, don't invite me place.
So I always tll itybaldy, don't invite me to your wedding
and I'll give you something really nice and because that's
who I am, right, and I'm never gonna help you
move ever ever. And you know what, I promise you this,
I'll never invite you to a wedding and I will
never ask you to move. I will never say can
(01:00:22):
you come over and help me move? I will never
do that ever ever. Even people I know who who
you know who like if I'm doing something, They're like, oh,
did I come over? I don't need that. I don't
want you because I was still bad. I'm gonna have to.
And I'm not talking about like my niece and my
little sister. She's my sister. She's my niece, but my
mom adoptor she was married this year. She's my sister.
(01:00:48):
I'm going out to that wedding my best friend. I'm
going to your wedding. If we're casual acquaintances or I
work with you, I'm not going to your wedding. Here's
something nice. But I that I got to thinking it's
about being a bad friend. Maybe for some people it
is because there's you know, everybody's got friends, right, and
by friends, I mean you have that friend that your
(01:01:09):
friend with now an adult friend, not your lifelong friend. Right,
there are different things. You've got friends where it's like
I can hang out, we're gonna have fun, they're a
great couple, et cetera. Then you've got that friend two
in the morning, dude, grab a shovel, some duct tape.
Meet me at noon tomorrow. All right, that friend, Are
(01:01:32):
you burying a body? No, just sound like something to say,
But I think for a younger generation, people are skipping
out on stuff, not because they don't want to be
your friend. It's because they can't afford it. Because everybody's
got that friend or two that can't just hang out,
order a pizza. They got to go somewhere.
Speaker 12 (01:01:49):
Of course that's not always easy.
Speaker 24 (01:01:51):
One in five people surveyed said a financial or lifestyle difference.
What's at the end of a friendship? And it's a
real thing on social media. You heard of the Miami
Girls trip curse. It's the idea that friend groups who
vacation in Miami often don't make it back in one piece,
and most of the time the reason comes down to money.
The latest ALLY study shows many young adults are trying
(01:02:14):
to balance a social life while working toward big financial
goals like buying a house. Allies, head of Consumer Banking, says,
it is possible to have both, but it takes planning.
Sometimes the best way to keep your finances and friendships
intact is to channel your Joey and just be honest.
Speaker 12 (01:02:33):
We don't have as much money as you.
Speaker 2 (01:02:35):
There, you go. That's simple and a cool friend. Like
when I invite my friends somewhere, I invite you. You're
not paying anything, We're hanging out, right, That's not That's
not what I do. But I'm at that point in
my life where I'm, you know, in my early fifties
as I like to say, maybe forty eight. I don't know.
And that's kind of where I'm going with that. But
(01:02:58):
when I was twenty two, I mean, we've all been there,
and we used to do it when it came to dating.
Now the kids don't date. For God's sake, no wonder.
We've got issues issues, I say, speaking of issues, Trump's
done with mail in ballots.
Speaker 21 (01:03:11):
Well, we know that. Trump obviously has long blamed his
twenty twenty election loss on mail and voting. The data
hasn't shown that to be a statement of fact. Frankly,
at all and states do run their elections. It's not
like the federal government or the executive can just jump
in and change that. That doesn't mean that he won't
(01:03:32):
he being President Trump, won't try to through an executive
order that he says he will sign. I'm not sure
if that's actually been drafted inside the White House or
reviewed by any lawyers, but that's what he says.
Speaker 2 (01:03:42):
It's very interesting. We're going to get into a little
bit deeper next hour about mail in ballots and the
fear that was because you had Newsmax having to pay
a ton of money. And they're still fighting a certain fight,
and I think this administration is too busy looking behind them,
trying to fix things they felt they were wronged in
(01:04:04):
the last several years, when they should be looking forward.
Let me know what you think. Three two, three, five,

it could be that you know what, you are risking
way too much and a little bit longer in the

The Chat Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:05:48):
Each and every single day, we like to have a
little bit of fun, you know that, But we also
like to give you a peek back to things that
took place on this day, because while we are living
in history, history also took place many many, many moons ago,
some of them long gone and far away. You know
what time it is not to pind in time a
(01:06:10):
long time ago.
Speaker 12 (01:06:11):
Now it's time for this day in history.
Speaker 2 (01:06:14):
We look back on this set to find out what
the famous things took place. All right, stay in history.
It is the nineteenth of August and the year of
the Lord twenty twenty five. But pre twenty twenty five,
many things have taken place on this day in history.
(01:06:34):
We go back to sixteen ninety two Salem witch trials.
That's right, five women were executed in Salem, Massachusetts. According
to the well, the best that we have when it
comes to documentation would say this day five women were executed.
(01:06:58):
Twenty total. Five were done today accused of witchcraft during
the Infamous Trials eighteen twelve, the USS Constitution earns the
nickname Old Ironside. Why is that because during the War
of eighteen twelve, the US Navy frigate Constitution defeated h
MS that's his Majesty, Jerrie off the coast of Nova Scotia,
(01:07:22):
British cannonball seemed to bounce off her wooden hull, earning
the ship the nickname of Old Ironside. Not everything was
fun and for volity? Are you saying the witch trials were? No,
they weren't. But you know Old Ironside was on this
day in history, nineteen thirty four of the Furer. Following
the death of President von Hindenberg, ad elf Hitler combined
(01:07:45):
the offices of chancellor and presidents and became the Feurer.
I don't know if you're aware of this. He got
eighty nine percent of the voters to say you should
be the Furer. You don't think that was rigged? Now,
now I don't think that. Oh wait, it was, of
course it was also on this day in history nineteen
fifty three. You want to know why we got some
(01:08:06):
issues in Iran? Maybe from Operation i AX.
Speaker 22 (01:08:11):
We should not allow the biggest foreign assituent, Britain to
go without doing something about it.
Speaker 2 (01:08:18):
The sooner than that he left Paw the better for Persia,
not for us. For Persia, that's right. Operation i AX
was a combination of the CIA and MI five or six.
This was the what became the playbook for the United
States of America to throw coups and get rid of
(01:08:39):
anybody we didn't like, especially if they were messing with
our dollars. And that's kind of what took place. What
happened is at the time their prime minister, who was
pushing them further and further away from the Shaw of Iran.
I'm just giving you guys a little quick notes here.
He decided to seize control of the oil production rather
than haventy fourign in tank there, and in doing so
(01:09:02):
the brit said, well, we can't have that. We got
to figure this out, so we help fund and take
care of it, calling it Operation AJAX. I call it
AJAX because of the great soccer team, but it's Operation AJAX.
Speaker 26 (01:09:14):
The British understood the extent of paranoia in this country
concerning of communism. This was the day of Joe McCarthy
and that the British consciously played on that fear in
order to help persuade us to involve ourselves in the coup.
That mob that came into North Tehran and was decisive
in the overthrow was a mercenary mob, had no ideology,
(01:09:37):
and that mob was paid for by American dollars.
Speaker 2 (01:09:40):
Yep. So it was horrible when you look back upon it,
because you do ask the question, had this not happened
on this day in nineteen fifty three, what would it
be like throughout parts of the Middle East. Even though
there was tension, this really pushed its sideways and made
(01:10:01):
it wonkey if you will. Also on this day in
nineteen ninety one, it was cou tacular.
Speaker 10 (01:10:08):
Repeating once again our top story. Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev
has been removed from power and there are tanks now
in the streets of Moscow. Vice President Ghannadiya Naiov says
he has taken over as acting president as the head
of state of a special State committee. You're watching live
pictures from Moscow this morning. He has declared a state
(01:10:28):
of emergency in individual localities.
Speaker 2 (01:10:31):
It is not clear what that means.
Speaker 10 (01:10:33):
Russian President Boris Yelton says the action is illegal, and
he's called for a general strike to return mister Gorbachev
to office.
Speaker 2 (01:10:40):
And that's exactly what happened a few days later. But
it didn't matter because that really just kind of accelerated
the eventual cracking of the Soviet Union, and by the
end of the year they were done, done, done, I
say done. Also on this day in history, birthdays, a
little shout out birthday wise, are you guys ready for this?
(01:11:04):
You may know his uncle Jesse, but did you guys
know he's in the Beach Boys and he's a hell
of a drummer. John stamos, Yeah, this scares the beat
of drummers.
Speaker 1 (01:11:15):
Our hands are so hold in sixth I know either.
Speaker 2 (01:11:20):
That was him actually doing this thing. If you've never
seen on the internet, it's really interesting to go on
and they play the drums two songs they've never heard before,
and he was rocking out with Papa Roach. But he's
played with everybody, not just the Beach Boys. By the way,
just to let you know that John stam was born
on this day. In nineteen sixty three, Bill Clinton board
all on the day nineteen forty six, oh Man, I
(01:11:41):
was the forty second president of States, guys know that
June rodnen Berry born on this day nineteen twenty one,
creator of Star Trek orvol Wrights, co inventor of the
er plane, was born on this day in eighteen seventy one.
How about those apples? Kids? Now you know some things
(01:12:02):
that happen on this day in history. Three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Show and it's
your ex your Insta, YouTube, Facebook, and more. If you're
missing the show, make sure we have the podcast right
here on the Chad Benson Show. Coming up, our number
three of the program. A lot of stuff still to
(01:12:25):
get to, including more on what's taking place with Ukraine Russia.
How's that going to play itself out? Donald Trump wants
to get rid of mail in ballots, redistricting and the
battle that is going on between California and Tahas. We
got your urban word of the day. We got a
little bit of what's trending as well. Our buddy Michaelin's
(01:12:47):
going to join the program as well, talk about Ukraine Russia,
the meetings that happen, plus China, what could be their
role and what are they thinking about thinking about making
a move we'll find out from him. Among other things.
You can see the show Shame to have the podcast
our number three straight ahead chat Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (01:13:04):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:13:34):
Yesterday, all these guys and gals got together to say
we shouldn't have any war. Two day then Pootin dropped
a crap ton more bombs. That's what happened. I just
want to point that out. But they didn't get together
the Euros. So Friday Trump hung out with that guy,
(01:13:55):
the Pooter. We're gonna hang out. It's gonna be Alaska.
It's gonna be great. We may see if fish or
two called salmon, you might like those. Also, there's birds
called bald eagles. You never know what we might find here.
But they got together the Euros yesterday, and Maroni, the
Italian Prime Minister, was pretty happy about that because I think, yeah,
(01:14:20):
they didn't think this was going to happen, at least
not on the last cat.
Speaker 4 (01:14:23):
I think it is an important day, a new face.
After three years and half that we didn't see any
kind of sign from the Russian side that there was
a willing for dialogue. So something is changing. Something has changed.
Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
Thanks to you, pointing a Trump and he's like, I know,
I'm great, what can you do? We're going to talk
to my clients in a little bit, military analysts get
you get a real sense on this. And I just
don't see the reason why Putin would come to to
(01:15:01):
the bargaining table at this point in Time's why, what's
the why does he have to He's got everything going
for at this point in time, Everything is going for him,
So why change it up. If you don't have to,
don't do it. You're in the lead. You have all
the cards. People yesterday were going Chad, you said he
(01:15:22):
wasn't going to get a seasefire, get anything done. I'm like,
do you see a seasfire. There's no ceasefire, there's nothing.
I don't want Trump to fail, I'm honest. Putin has
all of the cards. Oh Trump could know. Putin has
all of the cards. Trump is the card that Trump
could play that would put pressure on the Pooter is
(01:15:45):
a card he's not willing to play because it would
probably damage our economy to the point where we could
slide into recession. And when prices are already high, the
last thing you want to do is see that happen
and try to sell it to the American people. The
reason we're doing it is to stop the killings of
tens of thousands of people in a far away land.
(01:16:07):
And oh, while all of this is going on, you're
also in a position where you're a little over a
year away from midterms, and if things went sideways in
the economy, you're going to see a bunch of your
people voted out and for the next two years as
a lame duck president because all presidents in your second
(01:16:29):
term when you're out, you're a lame duck president. But
being a lame duck president that has to now fight
every single day investigations and probably and impeachment, Yeah, he's
not going to risk that at all.
Speaker 3 (01:16:46):
We're going to try and get a three party meeting
maybe as soon as we can, and I have a
feeling you and President Pooten are going to work something out. Ultimately,
this is a decision that can only be made by
President Zelenski and by the people of Ukraine working also
together in agreement with President Putin.
Speaker 2 (01:17:09):
Yeah, I don't I don't know if that's gonna happen.
If you get both of them in the room and
Here's the thing. Trump, you know, talks a great game
bringing down grocery prizes the minute. Now walk in. That
hasn't happened. I'm gonna end this war, maybe even before
I get in. That hasn't even come close to happen
if he was to get them in the same room.
(01:17:31):
And I do not think that will happen. Lest mic
our military analysts coming up a little bit. That right there,
I think is momentous. Putin has met with leaders. You're
willing to fly to him a crone and a few
others like that, because he's a wanted war criminal. I
just right now, I don't see any need if I'm
(01:17:55):
Putin to make any kind of effort while I'm still
pushing forward. We'll see three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson shows your
ext your insta. Meanwhile, Trump, get rid of the mail
in ballots, which are awful and they cheat and everybody
knows it. Who are they? The people?
Speaker 3 (01:18:15):
Mail in ballots are corrupt mail in ballots. You can
never have a real democracy with mail in ballance. And
we as a Republican Party, are going to do everything
possible that we get rid of mail invalots. We're going
to start with an executive order that's being written right
now by the best lawyers in the country to end
(01:18:35):
mail in ballots because they're.
Speaker 12 (01:18:37):
Corrupt and do you know the way, the only country
in the.
Speaker 3 (01:18:42):
World, I believe I may be wrong, but just about
the only country in the world that uses it because
of what's happened, massive fraud all over the place.
Speaker 12 (01:18:50):
The other thing, we want change of the machines.
Speaker 24 (01:18:53):
For all of.
Speaker 3 (01:18:55):
The money they spend, it's approximately ten times more expensive
than theaper ballots, and paper ballots are very sophisticated.
Speaker 2 (01:19:02):
With the watermark paper and everything else.
Speaker 3 (01:19:04):
We would get secure elections, we'd get much faster results
the machines. I mean they say we're going to have
the results in two weeks. With paper ballots, you have
the results that night.
Speaker 2 (01:19:15):
All right, let's break this down, shall we. Our machine
ballot's more expensive genuinely doesn't matter. I mean, come on,
the amount of crap we waste money on, let's just
not freak out about that. It's not like it's oh,
it costs US forty eight billion dollars a year for
machine balloting and only be a nickel if we did
to buy a paper. No, that's ridiculous. As far as
(01:19:37):
we're the only country I know of that does this.
I think you're sitting at a table with several countries
that do this. What Germany, Switzerland, UK, Canada, Australia, Austria,
just to name a few that do full mail in balloting.
(01:19:58):
But they cheat well here they So he's going to
do an executive order and we'll see what it looks
like like everything else. I don't know my frustration though,
And I say this over and over again because I'm America.
I care about America. I care about everybody, the rich,
the poor. I want us all to succeed. You care
(01:20:20):
about the rich, yes, they're human beings. I care about them.
I care about the poor, Yes, yes, I want people
to succeed, the reality of trying to fight. Trump doesn't
care about what happens to your race or your race,
or this race or that race unless it affects him directly.
(01:20:41):
And the continually fighting the things that happened in the past.
I'm over it. I'm not saying that we don't look
at systems. And if you want to have a paper
ballad day, knock yourself out. Let the paper ballad day. Go,
that's great, make it a national holiday. We'll get it done.
Do it on a Friday, and by Sunday night, have
(01:21:04):
everything up and running because we know us because remember
a lot of our rules are if we're within X
amounts percentage point automatically kicks in a recall. But by
Sunday night everything should be done. So it's a national
holiday and within you know, thirty six hours after the
last ballot is cast, we should have our results. Okay
(01:21:29):
with that, so let's just move on with it. But
people care about their pocketbook, They care about a lot
of different things. The always continually fighting things in the past,
I think people are kind of over it all right,
twenty twenties gone. You'd improve it in court when you
had a chance. So we've moved on. And when you
(01:21:51):
did have a chance, all the stuff you said that
you had and by you, I mean your absolute freak
show of the Drudy Giuliani's in the what's her name?
Sidney Powell could have release the kracking. I don't think
you're really familiar with the kracking, and you didn't release
(01:22:13):
any of that. Well, you know, it's like, good God,
just insane, insane three, two, three, five, three, eight, twenty
four to twenty three atch had Benson shows your ACTU insta, YouTube, Facebook,
and more. Meanwhile, redistricting done in Dustin for the most part,
(01:22:33):
in Texas, Dejas you knew what was gonna happen. They
couldn't stop it. They were never gonna be able to
stop it. They did their thing, they went, they raised awareness,
and now they've come back and now they're gonna get
it done. And that it's on to California. What will
California do? The interesting about California is the polls aren't
(01:22:59):
really thrilled. And that includes a lot of Democrats. We're like, no,
we don't, we don't. What what are you doing. You're
going to spend all this money to get something on
the ballot this year so they can vote, right, So
everybody goes and votes, and then your goal is to
then take away seats and add seats to to Jerry Mander.
You're not even pretending, you're just coming out saying, well,
(01:23:20):
we're going to jerry mander it two. And most people
in California, at least the polls right now, are saying, nah, no,
it's no, we're not interested in that. So It's going
to be interesting to see if they can even get
that done.
Speaker 23 (01:23:32):
Most of Americans were unaware how these Blue states had
jerry mander their states so much so ironic that these
Texas Democrat House members went to Illinois, which is one
of the most jerry mander states in the entire country.
Speaker 17 (01:23:46):
Uh.
Speaker 23 (01:23:46):
And when you look at California, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York. Uh,
they've squeezed out all Republicans. They can possibly squeeze out
what Texas is doing. We're just drawing fair maps as
allowed by law, and it will ens sure that at
least five more members of Republicans will be serving in
the United States Congress. Let me add to what you
(01:24:06):
showed on the agenda earlier, because the Democrats did return
to the Texas capital, to the state of Texas this morning,
and then hours later the House Committee already passed those
maps out, and those congressional maps are going to pass
out on the House floor on Wednesday. They've already passed
out of the Senate. They will become law probably by
(01:24:27):
the end of this week.
Speaker 2 (01:24:29):
Greg Abbott, there, I like how this is how confident
these sobs are across the country when it comes to
choosing us over us choosing them. We already know, based
on how we're going to draw the maps, that we're
going to add more Republicans. Oh, so it has nothing
(01:24:50):
to do with whether or not these people are worth
the dam when it comes to their politics, or they're
going to do something for the people. You've drawn it
up that way. Nice nice three two, three, five, three eight,

What truppy.
Speaker 2 (01:27:01):
In's find out? I was trending on this Tuesday. A
lot of stuff trending. What do you think number one
trending thing is? That's right, Ukraine, You guys got a
right fantastic You know what's interesting? It depends on where
you're looking, because remember, Google's a much different world. It's
a much different world. Let's start first with X. Okay,
so the more trending thing on X right now, justice

Apparently it's has something to do with Grock and I
don't know. I'm not quite sure. Ww Raw Bengals, Ukraine, Zelensky, Nato, Marony, Russia, Russia,

and running it into that. Air Canada has had some issues.
Well that's called a's Donald Trump midterm elections. Newsmax agreed
to pay sixty seven million dollars off incues of lying
about the rigging of the twenty twenty election. I know
(01:28:51):
what you're thinking, Newsmas had that much money. I know, right,
I think in total with the other settlements close to

interesting because they ended up having to pay a crap
(01:29:41):
ton of money and I think this is the second
settlement they've had. I don't know where they get the money.
Speaker 28 (01:29:47):
The cable channel settled with voting machine company to Minion
last week and agreed to pay sixty seven million dollars
in three installments. Dominion HD sued Newsmax for one point
six billion dollars in twenty twenty. At the time, Newsmax
said it was only reporting on newsworthy allegations that were
made by public figures. The case was set to go
(01:30:07):
to trial this fall in Delaware. Newsmax previously settled with
another voting machine company, smart Matic, for forty million dollars.
Speaker 2 (01:30:15):
So in total, one hundred and seven million dollars they've
had to pay out for those insane, crazy wackadoo theories
that were out there. Just oh my god, that was
just crazy. Remember that. It seems like forever ago, but
it wasn't just four and a half years ago, three two, three, five,
(01:30:36):
three eight, twenty four to twenty three, and Chad Benson
showed your extra instac coming up. Our good buddy and yours.
Mike Lane's going to join the program. We're going to
talk about yesterday what the next steps may be. He
is our military analyst. He's the damn best in business.
He's going to joways talk about that, what's going on
with Israel and Gaza and dare I ask him maybe
a few questions about China. We'll do all that for dad,
(01:30:58):
Chad Mensa, che.
Speaker 1 (01:31:00):
Chad Benson, Joe the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:31:23):
That time of the week we talked to the best
damn military analysts in the business. Mike Lions retired major
in the Army, and like I said, the greatest best
day of military cat in the business. We talked about
all of this chaos going off. Let's start with Friday,
Mike Friday, what do you make of it? You know,
the craziness of the media is like, Oh, he gave
Pootin everything he wanted. At what point in time do
(01:31:46):
we realize you got to talk to the guy who's
got all the cards if you're going to get something done.
Speaker 13 (01:31:51):
Yeah, morning, Chad, no question. That's how I took it
as well. The media was looking for you're not looking
for Trump to succeed on any level. But you know,
the bottom line is you have to talk to your adversaries.
Speaker 7 (01:32:03):
You had to start with something.
Speaker 13 (01:32:06):
They were just concerned about rolling out the red carpet
and all these other kinds of things. Look, the best
thing was the B two fly over and the fact
that Vladimir Putin got a chance to look at the
sound and hear the sound of freedom as he met
as he met the president, and then they obviously talked
about something in order to have this second meeting that
took place now yesterday with regards to as European leaders.
Speaker 7 (01:32:29):
So I think it was a good start.
Speaker 13 (01:32:31):
It was a good ways to get things going and
something really only Donald Trump could have done at this
point in time in history.
Speaker 2 (01:32:37):
Yeah, you know, it's funny, that's what Maloney said. This
isn't happening without him because he's willing to talk. Last
guy he didn't even I can't even remember any opportunity
where he put out there for them to meet in
some way, shape or form.
Speaker 13 (01:32:53):
And a lot of it has to do with the
people he surrounded himself with that were trying to figure
it out as they going along, and you know, maybe
they were trying to be Cold War type warriors or
I don't know. The fact that they're talking about it
now on television to me is you know, they should
set this one out. Jake Sullivan and those people that
were that were in charge for the last four years
(01:33:15):
that did nothing to try to stop this conflict between
Ukraine and Russia.
Speaker 2 (01:33:19):
Talking to my clients military analysts, as we talked about yesterday,
and we'll get to a lot of different stuff, but
let's let's be real. Uh, if you're putin, let's just
sit in. Let's get issues for a second. Why at
this moment in time would you want to stop Yesterday
while they're meeting, he's hammering Karkief. He's got no reason
at this moment to stop trying to grab as much
(01:33:42):
land as possible because he does hold all the cards.
Speaker 13 (01:33:44):
Yeah, I totally agree with that, and I'm not sure
there's enough leverage on him to stop, even with that
great meeting yesterday and the fact that the United States
and Europe are aligned now and that you know, the
world changed in the last six months from that initial
meeting that's you have with Trump and the Oval Office
to what went on yesterday. But there's still the issue
(01:34:05):
out there that Russia does not appear to have anything
in their way to keep this going, and they could
win a war of attrition.
Speaker 7 (01:34:14):
So whether or not that happens now, we will see.
Speaker 13 (01:34:17):
We will see where the United States and Ukraine and
Russia take this next step, which is I guess a
trilateral type of negotiation. But all it seems as though
all the pieces are in place right now. But again,
Vladimir Putin, I don't think there's enough leverage on him
to get him to stop anytime soon.
Speaker 2 (01:34:35):
Let's actually continue with the pooter. Could you see a
point where they just eventually I mean, I'm hearing the
averages in some areas are forty plus and sixty plus
in certain areas as far as defending it reminds you
of Berlin when you look at what there's protecting Berlin,
Tian kids and old men with broomsticks. Could you see
a point where he breaks through enough that he could
(01:34:57):
maybe put a charge on to to Kiev and all
of a sudden this is all for not.
Speaker 13 (01:35:03):
I don't see that, and that's because he doesn't appear
to have brought enough troops to the battlefield.
Speaker 7 (01:35:09):
As well.
Speaker 13 (01:35:10):
Russia has fought this conflict very poorly from just a
straight military perspective. There's no generals within the Russian military
that are that are going to be written about as
being innovative or anything like that when it comes to
this conflict. There was multiple opportunities Russia had over the
past three years to make that breakout as you point
As you point out the most vulnerable area was from
(01:35:33):
the north, from through Belarus, that's the shortest distance to Kiev.
Speaker 7 (01:35:37):
There, they completely abandoned that idea.
Speaker 13 (01:35:39):
They allowed the Ukraine military to have a counter offensive
in the west, to the north and to the east
there and they still i'll say, wallowing a novacaine in
the south, Mariopal and those places still in the Domebass
and she had a time, So I don't think Russia
could still mass correctly the amount of troops that would
take to do something like that, and it would be
(01:36:02):
a wind up that would take six to nine months
for them to do that. And plus, in today's world,
the enemy would see that kind of offensive operation coming,
so we Ukraine, the military and the Western Powers would
see Russia trying to do that.
Speaker 7 (01:36:17):
So I don't see that happening.
Speaker 2 (01:36:19):
Talking to my clients military analysts, as we talk about
all things that are going on globally, lots of conflicts.
Yesterday's meeting, I think obviously was much better than the
first meeting that he had anywhere near the Oval office
or whatnot. Zelenski. He did dress up for it. That
was always a win. But I was surprised that Trump,
you know, talking about security for Ukraine, even said that
(01:36:42):
we would be a part of it with boots on
the ground, which I think surprised a lot of people
that he said that.
Speaker 13 (01:36:47):
Well, I don't believe that will be the final US
participation in that security agreement if it gets to that point.
I'm still looking to this to be very similar to
the dat and Accords back between Bosnian and Serbia nineteen
ninety five, and well, then we.
Speaker 7 (01:37:03):
Had boots on the ground. We had a different kind of.
Speaker 13 (01:37:06):
Military, different kind of conflict in some ways. But I
see the United States providing the air cover, intelligence collection,
you know, the overall setting command and control of this.
Speaker 7 (01:37:16):
But you have both the.
Speaker 13 (01:37:17):
UK and the French deciding that they are willing to
put their troops in the mud right now, and I
think that's something we should be signing up for.
Speaker 7 (01:37:26):
I think you're going to.
Speaker 13 (01:37:27):
Need the US and government Senate House support in order
to do this, because I think this could also still
go badly. The Russians could decide that they would like
to take on a French company that exists in the
Dome Bass if they're doing some kind of security mission.
Does that mean that triggers Article five. I think that
(01:37:49):
we've got to make sure that those guidelines are very
clear and with regard to whether all these NATO countries
are involved. The other thing too, chat about yesterday's meeting,
there was some notable NATO men is absent. I thought,
I mean Canada, for one long time NATO member, they're
not part of this equation. You didn't see the Poles
there I think Poland there would have potentially stuck born
(01:38:11):
in the eye of Vladimir Putin as well.
Speaker 7 (01:38:13):
As you know, clearly Poland.
Speaker 13 (01:38:15):
Is one of our greatest NATO allies right now and
doing all the logistical support to help Ukraine. But I
think at some point Poland's gonna want to see at
that table with regards to their their contribution as well.
Speaker 2 (01:38:26):
I feel like Poland's kind of look at the Russians
and saying, you guys are punks. If you want some
of this, we will give you whatever you want.
Speaker 13 (01:38:34):
Yeah, and they have become a better NATO ally than Germany. However,
I'll tell you this, the German Chancellor Mertz has done
a tremendous job. He's not in Angela Merkel, that's for sure.
He wants to get involved. He pressured yesterday this concept
of a ceasefire, which you could argue that the President did,
you know, kind of backtrack on that.
Speaker 7 (01:38:55):
That would be important.
Speaker 13 (01:38:57):
But Germany, this is going to be a different country,
I think under his leadership, and it's going to be
much more security facing. You know, it's been eighty years
since that German war machine has been cranked up, and
I think that you know that can't be concerned that
they're going to do something like that again and start,
you know, the Third World War into Germany. But I
think the German leader did a very good job yesterday as.
Speaker 2 (01:39:17):
Well, talking to Mike Liones military analysts talk about Ukraine.
We'll get to some Israel stuff here, and I want
to talk about some China stuff come up a little bit.
When I look at this, I saw all those people there.
The Finn I thought was, you know, because you know,
Pooter didn't want NATO and then all of a sudden
NATO came to him in a way that you know,
I don't think he realized. But the Zelenski and Pewter
(01:39:39):
have to get in the same room at some point
in time. That's one thing I don't think. You know,
we're trying to come to some sort of agreement with
the two people who have to make the agreement not
in the same room. Do you think that's going to happen?
Speaker 7 (01:39:51):
I don't.
Speaker 13 (01:39:52):
I think that a lot of this will become more backchannel.
I think that these these will get resolved by staffers,
let's say, and Marco Rubio would cough, these guys, you know,
kind of doing all the heavy lifting with regard to
the details. If that ever takes place, it will be
(01:40:12):
really the final thing. But I'm not sure we're going
to see the Monoca Big and Jimmy Carter on warsa
dot moment of all three of them shaking hands the President,
Putin and Zelensky. Putin is pretty sworn against Selinsky, is
you know, part of his maximalist goals is to get
rid of his government, have an election, and install that
puppet regime there. So I'm not sure you're going to
(01:40:33):
get to that spot, but you'll likely see some kind
of agreement.
Speaker 4 (01:40:37):
You know.
Speaker 2 (01:40:37):
One of the things I was talking about today I
talked about last night, we forget that Putin is, you know,
live by the sword, Die by the sword. You come
back with no spoils, no feast for everybody, and you
killed a lot of your future. That doesn't make him
popular there. He's got to make sure he gets a
whole bunch of something to say this is why I
(01:41:01):
am who I am, because otherwise he weakens himself.
Speaker 7 (01:41:04):
I think so.
Speaker 13 (01:41:05):
But he still controls the narrative that exists inside of Russia.
So with a country that's eleven time zone, it's very disparate,
it's somewhat easier to do. He can concentrate where he
administures as propaganda. And I think, you know, go back
to this whole issue between you know, Trump and Russia
the country.
Speaker 7 (01:41:25):
If Trump can.
Speaker 13 (01:41:26):
Figure out a way to divide and keep Russia away
from China and have a better relationship with Russia, there's
been multiple opportunities you saw. I mean, look, Hillary Clinton
tried the reset button, all that stuff that took place,
and you know, post nine to eleven, Russia was going
to help us in Afghanistan. If we're going to have
a functional relationship with Russia, it's got to start somewhere.
(01:41:47):
So I applaud President Trump trying to fix that as well,
try to draw them away from China and get it
out of the military realm. And it's similar to what Obama,
I guess tried to do with Ron. But I just
think this time there's really more opportunity to get to
be you know, to be successful in that mission.
Speaker 2 (01:42:05):
Let's talk about China. Everybody's focused on obviously Israel in
the Middle East, and you've got what's going on obviously
with Ukraine and whatnot. China's quietly over there they're doing
their thing, you know, they run their military exercises and whatnot.
It's going to be interesting to see if they have
any kind of frog in them and want to make
(01:42:26):
a leap.
Speaker 13 (01:42:28):
I think they look at this situation going on in
Ukraine like the fact that the United States is distracted
by it and will not necessarily do anything under President Trump.
You heard Trump say that she wouldn't wouldn't attack Taiwan
while he's president. That's probably somewhat true. I'm not surprised
(01:42:48):
that the Chinese premier would want Trump to say that,
but they continue to still have tremendous military power there.
There's you know, the USA as Aliens joint forces that
are conducting almost daily exercises now. Are both sides projecting power.
I'd be more afraid of, you know, kind of a
(01:43:10):
Gulf of Tonkin situation where some captain on a Chinese
vessel makes the wrong decision and shoots at a US carrier,
does something, and there's some kind of tragedy. So there's
there's going to be a lot of itchy trigger fingers
taking place in the Pacific right now, and it's going
to take cooler heads to prevail because that still is
probably a bigger tinderbox than anything.
Speaker 2 (01:43:31):
Right now, talking to my client's military analysts as we
talk about all things military, as things are heating up globally, Mike,
Israel Gaza, Hamas nightmare, What the hell's going on? And
is this coming to an end at any time soon?
Speaker 13 (01:43:47):
You know it's coming to the end of that conflict.
And until BB finds somebody from Hamas that says we surrender,
he's not going to stop. It's going to take his government,
his pulp euro and or his cabinet to get him
to kind of get off that, because he also knows
that for Israel to get off this war footing that
(01:44:08):
they're doing right now, he's likely not the leader of
the country after that.
Speaker 7 (01:44:11):
Going forward.
Speaker 13 (01:44:13):
I think the US is a little distracted in that
there's no question Donald Trump would love to help the
rebuild of Gaza and of that situation. He looks as
he looks at everything as a real estate transaction. But
you know, there's just no way from BB's perspective that
he could stop as long as some moss holds those sausages.
And so that's the stellmate that exists there. And I
(01:44:37):
don't think that he's going to change anytime soon. It's
going to take a lot more political pressure for him
to change.
Speaker 2 (01:44:42):
He's the best around. Michael Lion's military analyst retired major

To this same.
Speaker 2 (01:46:38):
As we wrap up the program today, we'd like to
make sure that you leave with not only some entertainment,
but a little bit of education, right especially when it
comes to the youth of America learning what they're talking about.
We speak a language that's very similar, but it's not
always the same. That's why we help you out with
something like this. Oh you know what, Tom, it is now.
Speaker 12 (01:46:58):
It's time for the urban word of the day.
Speaker 2 (01:47:01):
The young have a vocabularity all their own, and we
break it down for you.
Speaker 12 (01:47:05):
It's called the urban word of the day.
Speaker 2 (01:47:09):
All right, your urban word of the day. I like
this one. I think yesterday, whether it be Trump or
Marlone or any of the people at the table, they
all have their hypemen somebody who's gassing for them. That's
exaggerating someone else's abilities, accomplishments, or qualities. Each and every
(01:47:30):
one of those people yesterday don't need anybody talk about
how amazing they are. Okay, they don't need any more gassing. Ooh,
I like that yet, right, gassing is your urban word
of the day.
Speaker 12 (01:47:46):
That was the urban word of the day.
Speaker 2 (01:47:49):
Now, you know, I do believe it is always good
to know. Some other people may not think it's good
to know, but the more you know, well, the better
it is for everybody involved. And again, the youth of America,
they have a different take on words, just like we
did as kids, as young adults. Now we're a little
bit older. Some of those words they still use, but
(01:48:11):
then find out that those words aren't the same as
we use them, which to me is fascinating right, just different,
different time. If you will three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four, twenty three at chat. Bens's show is your Acts,
your Insta, YouTube, Facebook, all the other stuff. We're gonna
be live tonight on YouTube if you have a chance
to join us right around seven o'clock My time is

a show today. I appreciate. Mike Liones comes on every Tuesday.
If you guys miss any of make sure you grab
that podcast. Uh he gives it to you in a
little bit more straightforward about what he thinks is gonna happen,
and I think it was fascinating today and he and
I talked about the fact that at this moment of time,
(01:49:16):
when it comes to Putin in the war, there is
no reason for Putin to stop doing what he's doing,
which I think is a fascinating thing. So if you
missed any of that, make sure you grab that podcast.
And again we're gonna be live tonight. Make sure you
join us three two, three five, twenty four to twenty
