Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show yesterday in Texas.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
They got through their bill. How exciting was it for them?
The reality is it became all about them and redistricting.
And when they called this special session, there was a
few things on there, but the most important thing.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
Was flood.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Hearing from the families figuring out how they can do
better and fix what is less than two months ago,
an incident that saw one hundred plus people lose their
lives and something that should have been preventable. Somehow the
(01:01):
Republicans and Democrats figured out a way to make it
all about them.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Parents had their say yesterday.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
And I will tell you it was powerful listening to
them talk about the loss of their daughters.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
In my hand and passed out to you, it's a
picture of my sweet little angel, Jamie Hunt, aged nine.
Speaker 5 (01:26):
Jane was the heartbeat of our family. She made me
a mom. She left for camp full of excitement and joy.
She came home and applied wood box. It's impossible to
put into words the depths of our grief, the magnitude
of this loss.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Yeah, absolutely, I mean Senate Bill one is going to
acquire more oversight of emergency plans, evacuation procedures, et cetera,
et cetera. You know again for the summer cans and
all the stuff that should have been done because common
sense said it should have been done. People wanted to
(02:08):
be heard, and it became more about, hey, can we
read district, Can we do something to draw up new
stuff so our side can win? And then the Democrats
are like, let's flee, right, because this stuff's gonna happen.
But if we flee now, we're gonna raise our brand.
(02:28):
Shame on every one of you, every one of you.
Speaker 6 (02:33):
We are the parents of Seal Stewart, the only camper
from Camp Mystics still missing.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
Sheer agony from the parents of eight year old Seal Stewart,
swept away in the horrific Camp Mystic floods in Texas.
Speaker 6 (02:47):
My baby girl is still missing until she has found.
Our family lives in a torture chamber.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Set a bill one renamed Heaven twenty seven Camp Safety
Act in honor of Mystic victims. It's comprehensive youth safety
bill designed to beef up disaster procedures following the horrific
flooding and the piss poor job of trying to save
(03:19):
these people. And alert them, alert them.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
But it's not about them. It's about us. Do we
get our redistricting done. This is gonna be great for everybody.
We're gonna win. Oh my god, we're gonna win. It's
gonna be great.
Speaker 6 (03:31):
Three generations of women in my family went to Camp
Mystic this year. It was finally Seal's turn. She was
eight years old, going for the very first time. Forty
eight days later, Seal remains somewhere in the devastation of
(03:53):
the Guadalupe River.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
But it's about me. Look at me, grandstand. That's why
I'm pissed. It's a parent, I'm pissed, it's a human being.
I'm pissed.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
There's a better way to handle this, And I think
as Americans we should go, hey, you know what there
really is. But you know what, they don't care about us,
the politicians, and I keep reminding you guys that every
single day they care about their fiefdom. They care about
their control. They care about this redistricting mandering, that's what
I call it. They care about control and keeping their
(04:28):
fiefdom the way that they like it, which is them
in charge.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
That's why they pick us.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
We don't pick them, and we should be frustrated, absolutely
frustrated at this because the celebration of oh that's good,
well done Texas, fantastic, five more seats, California's figuring out
I think we can do ten seats. I'm like, this
(04:52):
is what we're getting now. And the problem with this
is when this happens, you find out that the only
thing that matters, as I've been saying forever in a
day is the primaries. The primaries matter more than anything
else because they get it to the point where they jerrymander.
It's so the person running against whoever you've jerrymanded forward, whether.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
It's the writer left, has no chance.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
So when you're in the primaries, you run to the
farthest portion that you possibly can, and that's the only
thing that matters. Essentially, the general is a waste of time.
It's a formality.
Speaker 7 (05:32):
Well, and we've seen that over the past decade and
a half at least, because all the action Joe is
in the primaries, right, I mean, how often are we
discussing a topic here and you guys ask me what
are Republicans think? And my answer is usually they don't
want to rock the vote. I had a primary season,
because the only place they're going to have a competitive
race is in a Republican primary. I think Democrats also
(05:53):
have to look out for this in this way. Right
there's a lot of anks on the left. Democratic voters
sounding like Republican voters did for years want their party
to fight, fight harder, fight more, and not that they
should stand down, not that they shouldn't respond to fire
with fire, but this is going This could create the
(06:14):
same sort of sort of dynamic in Democratic primaries, where
voters have to look over their shoulder, knowing that if
they cooperate too much with the other party, if they're
willing to compromise, if they don't appear to be fighting
hard enough, it's the primary where they can be ousted.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Which is embarrassing. Should piss us all off. So why
we don't get things done? That's why we don't. That's
why we're in a position where people wonder Trump is
he is the result of the insanity that's been going
on in Washington. This is the bubble that I hope
(06:58):
will burst. I have friends who are congressmen and women
senators that I talked.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
To, and I will tell you what you know.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
David Swiker, who I have talked to you on more
than a few occasions, had them on my show out
in Arizona. He would tell me stories about other politicians
who would get off an elevator at a floor that
wasn't theirs out of fear that he would be seen
having a conversation with Swickert and the base just wouldn't
(07:34):
allow that the internet would come for him. That is
so ridiculous.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
It is.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
It's embarrassing, it truly is. And I think this whole
thing with Texas, again, it's not illegal, but this whole
thing with Texas is starting something that at least we're
all going to get a good view of the insanity
and what these politicians are doing by picking us rather
(08:05):
than us picking them based on the results and their actions.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson Show is your extra insta all
the other things.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
Hope all us well with you.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
Meanwhile, Middle East getting hotter and hotter.
Speaker 8 (08:21):
Most of Europe and many in his own country against
Prime Minister at Nyahu's plan, but he does have President
Trump's support. Trump called him a war hero and declared
himself one two for deciding to bomb Iran's nuclear facilities.
Speaker 9 (08:34):
Babe, this a good man. He's in there fighting.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
He's a war hero because we worked together. He's a
war hero.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
And then he called himself a war hero, which is
again nuts. So they're moving on into Gaza City. Where
about it. Now, Israel is only surviving because of us,
as far as do you realize, and this is stuff
(09:05):
that I don't think people realize. We guarantee every one
of their when they sell bonds, they get the loans,
we guarantee everything for them. We are the co signer
of every penny. Their economy is struggling. People are pissed
because they're looking at this saying you are making us
(09:26):
a prior around the world. They don't care. This group
and the LIQUD Party is. They're doing their thing and
they're going we're gonna see first hand.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
In real time.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
What a genocide, ethnic cleansing, whatever you want to call it.
Atrocity looks like.
Speaker 10 (09:54):
It is.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
Absolutely horrific. What is going on and it's done on
purpose and Israel, you know, we continue to say this here,
a real friend would tell you the truth. This is
(10:18):
horrific and awful. You shouldn't do it, and you're going
to and shame on you and shame on us for
allowing it. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four
to twenty three at chat, Benson shows your acts, your
Insta love, hearing from every single one of you. Got

Speaker 2 (10:45):
It's about a new poll that's come out about what
Americans considered to be a great threat. And I absolutely
believe that the number one thing they believe is a
great threat. I absolutely believe it to a t Well,

Speaker 11 (13:10):
Chad Benson.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
We're always first when it comes to the news that
includes the weather. Now it's time for the Chad Action
news weather reports. When weather weather's we weather the storm weather.
The storm indeed, in this storm is big and nasty.
Speaker 12 (13:29):
North Carolina's governor pre positioning swift water rescue teams and
National Guard troops, urging drivers to stay away from flooded roadways.
Speaker 3 (13:39):
Don't do it. You do not know how deep the
water is or how fast it is running.
Speaker 12 (13:44):
Utility crews in Dare County standing by ready to respond
to any power outages. The massive hurricane now growing in
size as it moves towards the northeast, The storm causing
powerful rip currents from Florida to Maine.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
Remember we gave you our rip current right and by
the way, this advice is good for any time of
the year, rip current wise, even if it's just a
beautiful day and you're out there. I mean, there's no
worry of massive surf because of a storm. Parallel you
swim parallel. So if you're facing the beach and you're
struggling and it's like you're in water, quicksand rip currents
(14:20):
aren't that big. They're not miles wide. They're you know,
anywhere between twenty to about one hundred feet wide. You
just swim to the left of the right, and you're
gonna be absolutely fine. We like giving you tips here,
that's what we do. This thing, though, is huge, and
copious amounts of rain is about to fall, how big.
Speaker 13 (14:35):
Erin more than seven hundred miles wide. So massive, there
are tropical storm alerts on both sides of it as
it threads the needle between the US and Bermuda. The
warnings extending to the Jersey Shore, Atlantic city authorities warning
beach goers not to go in past their ankles.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
We shouldn't have to say those kinds of things. Same
thing goes for I don't know the beach.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
Nobody is allowed on to the beach.
Speaker 14 (15:00):
As a matter of fact, there are gates to block
people from actually walking out on the sand. There are
no lifeguards, red flag warnings everywhere along the Jersey Shore.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
Just want to put that out there that you shouldn't
and you're gonna get surfers, right, people that they chase
big giant, huge waves.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
Yeah, this isn't those kinds of ways. This isn't it.
Speaker 10 (15:23):
All right?
Speaker 3 (15:24):
So just you shouldn't have to. We shouldn't sit here
and say, hey, yeah, you know, should you do this
or not? No, you shouldn't.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
Sometimes you realize, oh, this is nature, and nature gonna
do what it wants. I think three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show,
is your ex your Insta, YouTube, Facebook and morph you
missing show? Gud the podcast right in the Chad Benson Show.
(15:50):
All right, So these floods.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
Are gonna be huge.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
And remember North Carolina still from Helene, is still trying
to get itself in, specially in certain areas back to
you know, some portion of normality. We go from hurricane
season to a football season. It is here who is
ready to win? And you can do that with Prize Picks.
(16:14):
And right now Prize Picks has something for you. Chance
it went up two thousand times your money. But when
you download the app and you use my coachad and
you play your first five dollars lineup and I'll tell
you how to set a lineup in a second. You're
gonna get fifty dollars in lineups immediately, win or lose,
no matter how you do on your first go. Now,
let's talk about this. You got knowledge of sports, you
(16:35):
love it. Football's here. You've been waiting for this forever
and day, and you got all this great knowledge.
Speaker 9 (16:40):
What do you do with it?
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Well, you can go up to two thousand times your money,
and you set a lineup. It's two or more, you
can up to six. But let me tell you how
this works. Okay, this is players, this is stats. This
is not teams and lines. It's that simple. Patrick Mahomes,
you know he loves to run on this team and
throw touchdowns. So you think, say, hey, they say he's
gonna run for sixty two point five five yards.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
I think he's gonna run for eighty. That's more. It's
more or less.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
Over here, you see somebody like, oh, I don't know,
we'll call him Aaron Rodgers. He struggles against this team,
and you know what, you think he's gonna.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
Throw for under two hundred and twenty yards. Boom, there
you go. You've set a lineup.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
The minute you do that, you're gonna get fifty dollars
instantly when you play a first five dollars lineup.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
Download the app today. It's the price Fix app.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
Use my code Chad to get fifty dollars instantly in
lineups after you play a first five dollars lineup. That's
code Chad to get fifty dollars instantly in lineups after
you play that.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
First five dollars lineup. Price Fix run your game. Chad Benson, Joe.
Speaker 15 (17:39):
Son, Chad Benson, Joe.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
The Chat Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
So Yesterday, Bed Bath and Beyond, Beyond, Beyond Beyond, which
is making a comeback.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
I always tell everybody about bed Beth and Beyond.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
If you've never been to one, imagine walking into a
place that has all of the duvet covers and sheets
and blankets.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
You will ever need.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
This one over here is made with real Egyptian duck feathers.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
You're like, what.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
But on top of that, it's also kind of like
a Sharper Image store because you can go sit in
a chair and they've got massagers in it. And over here,
if you go over here, they got a foosball table
that turns into a refrigerator. So it's kind of an
you know, an odd thing. They tried to become everything
to everybody. So they've gone out and they're they're reimaging themselves.
They've you know, filed for bankruptcy and they're emerging from it.
(18:54):
And they announced yesterday, Hey, California, yeah, we're not gonna
work with you because you make it impossible to operate
in your state.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
We've made the decision.
Speaker 16 (19:06):
As we start to open up stores again, we're planning
and opening three hundred over the next twenty four months,
we've made the decision to not open in the state
of California. And while it was a big place for
business in the past for ben Bath and beyond, when
you look at the complexity, both on the real estate side,
on the regulatory side, both on the product and the
employee side, it's just to cost.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
Prohibitive to do it.
Speaker 16 (19:28):
And at some point some business needs to take a
stand and remind the state of California that while they
keep reminding us that they're the fourth largest economy in
the world, that's going to dissipate over time. So we
are just going to serve those customers with our online business.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
And that's the CEO there talking about that. Why they're
doing that the real estate, all of that stuff. And
I've said forever, you know I was here. You know
we're the fourth or fifth largest county whatever it is
this week, and they brag about that the ovenors.
Speaker 3 (20:01):
You're not that.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
Because of the way that you are business friendly. You're
that way because you're on the coast and that's it.
You've got sunshine three hundred and sixty days a year
with an average temperature probably hovering around seventy ish, and
(20:24):
you've got gorgeous views of mountains of oceans. It's not
because of how amazing you are to businesses. You tax
the hell out of them to the point where it
is virtually impossible to operate. And what do you get
(20:45):
for That's a question that a lot of people have
been asking, what do you get for it?
Speaker 16 (20:49):
Well, I think the big question is what does it
cost to actually do business? In California and in other
businesses that I'm involved in the process to actually operate
the business is so cost per hibit from insurance to
disclosures on packaging to the way we have to handle
all the employee issues. And a lot of people have
said to me, oh, you don't want to pay employees.
We pay employees plenty, and we want to pay them more,
(21:11):
but we don't want the government telling us how to
run our business and to do business in California. Quite frankly,
for my shareholders and my customers, I don't think we
can deliver a good product and make a profit, which
is the idea behind business.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
Is that the idea behind business. I was unaware of
what that was.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
And of course you got to snarkyar mark, you know,
tweeted out by Gavin Newsom and his team, you know,
making fun of them and and whatnot. It's just it
shows you everything you need to know, especially about him
who he who wants to be president, That's what I
call him now, He who wants to be president?
Speaker 3 (21:45):
Just an absolute disaster.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
And look, I've always had bedbath to me on a
lot of these these these stand these standalone you know companies,
these big box stores and stuff. You're competing with Amazon.
And that's a hard thing to do because yes, it's
a price point thing. It's a convenience thing, and we
are both price wary and very much a people of convenience.
Speaker 3 (22:14):
I can order the same thing.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
Here in my house and have it sent to me,
and that even includes people who go inside to stores
and then they google it or they go to Amazon
to find out if you can get it cheaper. So
we'll see how they do. But do I understand why
they don't want to do business? Yeah, keep cheating you need.
Speaker 3 (22:35):
There's a difference between being.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
Ridiculous when it comes to business and gazillions of dollars
and subsidies and all this kind, and then being.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
Punitive, which is what California is.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
Punitive to people who are successful and to business, and
that's why California is bleeding businesses pal Andeer, Oracle and
stuff like that, including yes, the likes of bed, bath
and beyond three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four
to twenty three atch had Benson shows your act, your instant,
all the other things. I love hearing from all of you.
(23:12):
So this is interesting.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
What do people.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
Think is the biggest threat facing our nation in twenty
twenty five? Terrorism, the global economy, climate change, infectious diseases, nope,
number one.
Speaker 3 (23:43):
Threats to our nation?
Speaker 2 (23:48):
And I would say globally, I think a lot of
people feel this way too. In the westernized and modern world.
I think if you're somewhere else and you're just worried
about whether or you can eat a meal. I don't
think people are too worried about that, but yeah, I
mean if you ask, you go ask to Europeans, you're
probably gonna get the same answer Australia and stuff like this.
It's the spread of false information online. Seven and ten
(24:12):
believe it's a major threat. Six and ten say terrorism.
Same thing for the economy. Half say global warming and
half say the spread of infectious diseases. I think misinformation
(24:32):
spread is awful, But you know what else is awful
the fact that we as human beings, as adults, who
receive misinformation on our feeds or however, you get them
(24:54):
and you think it's true, and you do nothing when
it comes to researching whether or not this is a
true story. You do nothing. Because I've said for years,
people want affirmation, not information. They don't want to be
(25:15):
challenged when it comes to their beliefs. That is not
something they're interested in. They have cloaked themselves in the
red or blue, the conservative, the maga, the liberal, the progressive.
They want to be affirmed. So disinformation comes to you,
(25:37):
you didn't make it up, you didn't put it on
a reel or on a TikTok or something, but you
perceive it to be true because you want it to
be true, and then you take that and you push
it out to all of your people, and then it
starts to spread because you believe it to be true,
all based on the fact that you want it to
be true, and it affirms your beliefs, and it doesn't
(26:02):
add any kind of threat to your identity of however
you identify.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
I'm maga, I'm super progressive, whatever it is. Oh, that
was mean jed. The fact that seven out of ten say.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
This, and and by the way, same thing goes for
you know, even the parties on both sides worry about
this now. Now, climate change for Democrats is much higher spread,
infectious disease is much higher, but false information online more
than six out of ten Republicans and eight out of
(26:41):
ten Democrats. Global economy fifty percent for Republicans, seventy percent
for Democrats, and when it comes to terrorism, almost seventy
percent for Republicans at about fifty percent for Democrats. You
need to get a handle on this, though, and talk
(27:02):
more about this throughout the show.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
Let me know what you think.

As america's nicest.
Speaker 20 (29:05):
Judge based on the three tenths of a second the
matter is, dismissed there.
Speaker 19 (29:09):
Was the little boy right next to him at the,
bench asked about his dad's traffic.
Speaker 9 (29:12):
Ticket guilty or not?
Speaker 10 (29:14):
Guilty what do you? Say?
Speaker 6 (29:16):
Guilty?
Speaker 19 (29:17):
Guilty in later, years his HIT tv Show caught In
providence put his humor and heart on full.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
Display he was, something and he was eighty, eight still
on the bench up until not too long, ago but
eventually he passed away with a battle to. Cancer but
he talked about the fact that he wasn't always the kind.
Speaker 19 (29:39):
Guy judgecaprio would often, say he wasn't always so. Compassionate
his first day on the, bench his father proudly watching,
on the young judge was tough on a mother of
four who hadn't paid her parking, tickets and that didn't
sit well with his. Father the moment would change the
course of his life and so many.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
Others and it was. True and this it's just something he.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Said it's about a minute, long But i'm telling you,
guys it is worth listening to what he has to
say because you, know as we talk, about you, know, misinformation,
disinformation the anger that people. Have this, GUY i, think
really sells something in everybody which we need to get
back to, doing which is seeing everybody else as individuals
(30:21):
and as humans and not as right and left or
whatever craziness is out.
Speaker 20 (30:25):
There in my, Courtroom i've seen people at their best
and sometimes at their. Lowest but no matter who stands before,
Me rich or, poor young or.
Speaker 9 (30:35):
OLD i try to see something more than just a case.
Speaker 20 (30:38):
NUMBER i try to see the, person because behind every traffic,
ticket behind every missed court, date there's a.
Speaker 9 (30:46):
STORY a single mom trying to.
Speaker 20 (30:48):
Make ends, meet a veteran struggling to get back on his,
feet a teenager who just made a. Mistake we all stumble,
Sometimes but when we meet those stumbles with kindness instead of,
judgment with, compassion instead of, criticism we give people a second,
chance not just in.
Speaker 9 (31:08):
Court but in.
Speaker 20 (31:09):
LIFE i believe in the power of mercy because when
you show someone a little, understanding it can change their whole,
day sometimes their whole.
Speaker 9 (31:18):
Life so here's my message to you. Today be, kind be,
fair be.
Speaker 20 (31:24):
Human you never know what someone else is going, through
and your compassion might be the one thing they remember.
Speaker 9 (31:32):
FOREVER i love.
Speaker 3 (31:34):
THAT i absolutely love.
Speaker 2 (31:36):
That Rip Judge rip all, RIGHT i, said we're going
to do this day in, history and we're gonna jump
straight into.
Speaker 3 (31:41):

Speaker 3 (31:58):
Place all, right this day in, history let's go back
to nineteen.
Speaker 2 (32:02):
Eleven The Mona lisa is stolen from the, news the
iconic painting By, leonardo and she was taken by Three italian.
Handymen took two years before they recovered. It and by the,
way that event catapulted this into a. Stratosphere The Mona lisa, said,
well you know, now it is truly. Priceless there's nothing
(32:23):
you can do money wise to pay for.
Speaker 3 (32:27):
That it's crazy because it's.
Speaker 2 (32:30):
Pain eighteen thirty, one on this day In, history That
turner's rebellion begins in a slave, preacher and That turner
led a major uprising In virginia that resulted in numerous
deaths and intensified the debates here In america over.
Speaker 3 (32:41):
Slavery also in this.
Speaker 2 (32:43):
Day In, history nineteen fifty, Nine america grew a little.
Speaker 21 (32:49):
Bit it's nati official at The White, house as In
eisenhower congratulates the new congressional representatives Of hawaii in all
the simple ceremonies that remake the geography of The United,
states adding the fiftieth and the southernmost, state with the
land area of six and a half thousand miles and
(33:09):
a population of six one hundred.
Speaker 22 (33:11):
Thousand, GENTLEMEN i think that we shall recognize that this
is truly a historic occasion because for the second, time within.
Speaker 10 (33:22):
A little over the, year a new state has been
admitted to The.
Speaker 22 (33:26):
Union it had been a long time any state since
then the state had been. Admitted so to have this
forty ninth and fiftieth member of Our union in such
a short space is truly a unique.
Speaker 2 (33:41):
Experience the experience as well because we had to get
the flag fixed and add more stuff to, it so
ninth row, added so fifty start see where we're going
with that. One also on this day in, history assassination
Of Ventino Aguero junior from The Filipino. Opposition the leaders
killed upon arrival at The Mailla. Airport also on this
(34:05):
day in, history The Lake nios disaster And.
Speaker 3 (34:07):
Cameroon so.
Speaker 2 (34:11):
This, lake it's, massive and what happened is there was
a build up underneath the. Lake there's almost this film
on top of it that kept all of this co two.
Speaker 9 (34:25):
In deep.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
Water eventually, though it came through and the carbon dioxide
went out and spread because of an earthquake or a
small volcanic eruption, underneath causing the deaths of almost eighteen
hundred people and three thousand or so animals in. Livestock
it was a mystery for a. While they fixed. It
now they've got pipes in. There very interesting, Indeed and
(34:49):
on this day in, HISTORY nasa lost contact with The Mars.
Observer famous, Birthdays Count Basie Wilt, Chamberlain Kenny, Rodgers, You Saint,
Polt Sergei, brinn founder Of, google And Bo burnham. Comedian
now you guys know what happened on this day in.

Speaker 11 (36:24):
Ahead this is The Chad Benson, Show.
Speaker 1 (36:52):
The Chad Benson. Show what will?
Speaker 3 (36:55):
Happen won't?
Speaker 2 (36:56):
Happen it's fun to watch Uh trump battle and The
White house battle it out with The kremlin, Because, yo
we got a deal.
Speaker 3 (37:03):
Done it's. Done we knew what was gonna. Happen it's.
Speaker 2 (37:05):
Done can't stop it it's gonna. Happen they're gonna, meet
they're gonna do all THESE i don't know what's gonna.
Happen WHAT i do know IS i had no reason
for The booter to do. Anything he's gonna continue to
grab as much as he possibly, can and it's gonna
continue to happen until he either saytiates his appetite or
he can't get any.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
Anywhere this is, It this is. Good it's gonna get
at this moment of. Time and now.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
You get to the point where it's diminishing. Returns he
doesn't feel like he's there. Yet And trump wants this to.
Happen everybody wants this to. HAPPEN i want to see
the killing, end but The booter doesn't have. To and
what you're gonna have now is a battle OF i
think wills through, media because The kremlin's gonna release their,
(37:53):
stuff what they, say and then then we'll say, this
and then they'll say we didn't say, that we mean.
Speaker 23 (37:58):
This and we are hearing new demands From russia insisting
that they need to sign off on any potential security
guarantee that The United states Or european leaders provide To.
Ukraine in case there is a peace. Deal The president
suggested That putin was on board with this, idea and
then His special Envoy Steve witkoff went on television and
(38:19):
said that it was a major, concession calling it game.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
Changing would be if it's, true is it? True are
they going to really sign off on?
Speaker 24 (38:26):
That make it clear To putin and The kremlin That
ukraine's going to have the resources and the money to
buy all the weapons it needs to defend itself for
four or, five, six seven. Years at that, Point putin
hasked to ask, himself CAN i win? This and are
the costs going to become too?
Speaker 2 (38:42):
High that's a diminishing. Returns putin also knows That trump's
going to be out in three. Years he could just
run out the, clock have kind of a uneasy, truce
and just wait out the clock to see what happens.
There i've said it over and, over and the people
that always tell, me, oh you just you don't Understand
(39:05):
trump and stop, it stop. It putin has the advantage
in this. ONE i know That trump's a war. Hero
if you guys haven't heard, that we'll talk about. That
the insanity of that, Comment but that, aside he can
wait out the. Clock every good hand is sitting with the.
Powder every horrible hand is with The europeans In ukraine And.
(39:31):
America three, two, three, five three, eight twenty four to
twenty three At Chad Benson, show is your ex Your.
Insta i'm going to continue to play these BECAUSE i
think it's. Important while they celebrate yesterday the oh my,
god we're. Redistricting we're drawing the map the way that we,
want so we ensure our.
Speaker 3 (39:47):
Victory.
Speaker 2 (39:49):
Yay the parents of flood victims got to speak yesterday
and what they said was. Powerful it should be heard
because somewhere along the, line Once trump made a phone
call To, abbott everything changed in a heartbeat because it
came about that rather than hey what can we do?
(40:12):
Here first they've been pushed to the. Back oh but
that was such a long time. AGO i mean that
was last.
Speaker 4 (40:17):
Month in my hand and passed out to. You it's
a picture of my sweet little, Angel Jamie, hunt aged.
Speaker 5 (40:25):
Nine jane was the heartbeat of our. Family she made
me a. Mom she left for camp full of excitement and.
Joy she came home in apply wood. Box it's impossible
to put into words the depths of our, grief the
magnitude of this loss.
Speaker 2 (40:45):
That was gut. Wrenching she left full of, hope. Happiness
right her mom told, me you've got nothing to be afraid.
Of it's going to be a great. Time she came
home in a. Box other parents, spoke including a couple
whose daughter has yet to be, found still somewhere out
(41:07):
there in the. River so they don't even have any
kind of closure at this moment in. Time but the, Redistricting,
jed you're still thinking about.
Speaker 3 (41:19):
That what about? Us we are going to.
Speaker 2 (41:21):
Redistrict we're going to draw up new maps that will
ensure no matter how crappy we do this, job we
will always be voted. In, YEAH i think you're being. Sarcastic,
oh don't. Worry california's going to do it. Too at
least they're going to make the attempt to do. IT
(41:41):
i say they're going to do. It they're making an
attempt to do, it which should frustrate. Us they're picking,
Us we're not picking. Them i'm looking at these, maps
and we do recognize that this is going to go
to the, courts and the courts will decide on the
(42:07):
finality of these. Maps, well they have to be. Redrawn
they had to do that In North, carolina done that
a couple other places where they're, like, yeah, no, no
this isn't gonna work this. Way so we'll see exactly
what it looks. Like BUT i JUST i want to remind,
everybody no matter what side of the aisle you're, on
(42:27):
if you believe in our, democracy our, republic which is
getting tougher and tougher to even call it that at
this point in, time then you're gonna want elections to
be about people who come and do the job for the,
(42:51):
people not just the people that want this great honor
of running their own little, fiefdom raising tons of, money
building a, brand enriching themselves and if there's anything left
after the party and they're, personal maybe it'll trickle down
(43:14):
to the, people which is absolutely frustrating as it. Gets
we should all be. Frustrated we should pick, them they
shouldn't pick. Us we move from there to WHAT i
think is going to be the absolute nightmare if it
(43:37):
is indeed going to happen the way they think it's
going to happen In israel And. Gaza if indeed this is,
it they've got the plans to final. Plans i'm hoping
that somewhere along the, line cooler commer heads prevail and
this doesn't, happen but if it, does we're going to
see it in real.
Speaker 25 (43:57):
Time israel is now preparing to Okip Galza. City sixty
THOUSAND idf reservists are being called up in The israeli
military says its troops are already on the outskirts of the.
City you've seen as strikes this morning on a number
of neighborhoods to the south Of Gaza. City it does
look like The, israelis after threatening this for some, weeks
(44:18):
really do intend to carry this.
Speaker 2 (44:20):
Out and this wasn't threatening for. Weeks let's be. Real
they've had the maps drawn, up they've had the want
to do this. Forever in a, day they never had the,
will And october, seventh in their, mind has given them
free reign to go as hard as they want and
do whatever the hell they, want no matter what the
cost is to other, people including their, future because they
(44:44):
are losing support globally.
Speaker 3 (44:46):
At a rate that you would.
Speaker 2 (44:47):
Think, no, wait they are and it's not Anti, Semitism
AND i love when people come you're Anti. Semitic, No i'm,
not AND i don't buy your ridiculousness for a government
that is it's foreign that lives off of us on
the teat Of. America let's be honest about, this that
(45:08):
survives for the most part because we are the co
signer of every bond and loan that they.
Speaker 3 (45:16):
Get we are the facilitator.
Speaker 2 (45:27):
In many ways to what's going on because we have
allowed them to have the might of our military always behind.
THEM i don't want my name on any of. This
the fact That trump is continuing to back this is.
INSANE i hold him and us just as responsible because
(45:49):
we should have stopped this a long time ago and,
said all right, enough there's got to be a. Solution
killing innocent women and children is not going to win you,
friends and it's sure the hell aid influence in, anybody
but alas it's not going to, happen AND i think
(46:12):
they're going to do.
Speaker 3 (46:12):
It this is.
Speaker 2 (46:14):
A gentleman talking about what he sees going on there
and how he feels because he's absolutely against.
Speaker 26 (46:24):
This what's happening In gaza is a, holocaust and what
is currently being designed by The israeli government is the
final solution to Their palestinian, problem and as A holocaust,
survivor my reaction is not in my. Name, extermination, dehumanization, starvation,
(46:44):
blockade lack of water and, medication the destruction of the health,
service the hunting down of, doctors the hunting down of,
journalists safe places which turn out to be not safe at,
all but, traps concentration.
Speaker 27 (46:59):
Camps all this together makes a Clear. Holocaust his name
Is Stephen. Cappos he is A holocaust. Survivor he was
seven when they put the star on. Him we're gonna
play more of him throughout the. Day but he draws
(47:20):
a clear line Between germany and The nazis and the
current government In, israel and it is hard not to see.
Speaker 3 (47:28):
That talk more about.
Speaker 2 (47:32):
This got Some epstein stuff on the, way speaking Of,
israel is that always the thing that he was a massad,
agent WHICH i still think is very much a huge.

Speaker 2 (49:51):
Benson The Menendez. Brothers will they or won't?
Speaker 3 (49:55):
They get?
Speaker 28 (49:56):
OUT a pivotal day for The menendez brothers in their
fight for. Freedom thirty six years after the murder of
their parents In Beverly, hills the brothers now facing the parole.
Board they were initially convicted and sentenced to life in
prison without the possibility of. Parole they were later re
sentenced to fifty years to life in, prison which now
makes them eligible for, parole which their family.
Speaker 2 (50:17):
Wants so if you guys don't remember The menendez. Brothers
they killed their mother and. Father there were a wealthy,
family had all the stuff, right like if you're going to,
draw go To Central, casting as they, say and build the,
thing the perfect, life the, money the trust, funds you,
know good looking. Kids mom and dad were apparently a
(50:37):
little especially, dad little, violent little, awful and they went
and killed mom and.
Speaker 3 (50:45):
Dad and in, fact this week we did A This
day In.
Speaker 2 (50:48):
History because it was what some thirty five plus years
ago that the actual murders. Happened and this was actually
caught on camera just a few hours after it had,
happened when the police were, Questioning, okay what's going on?
Speaker 10 (51:03):
Here what?
Speaker 2 (51:03):
Happened who's the person that super shot mom and? Dad
so now they're going to get out, Potentially so they've
got to go before the parole. Board and you, know
they've been model citizens or whatever you can be inside of.
Prison they don't really have any, infractions and they're, stupid
like they, said cell phones and things of that.
Speaker 3 (51:24):
Nature but the big question is we let you, out
like what are you going to? DO i, mean you,
know are you going to go out and kill?
Speaker 29 (51:33):
Again the major question before the parole board is do these,
Inmates eric And Lyle, menendez currently pose an unreasonable risk
of danger to, society and that's what they have to
answer to their, boss the chief of The Parole, board
and eventually the, governor and of course the residents and
citizens of the state Of.
Speaker 2 (51:51):
CALIFORNIA i think if you pulled the people in state Of,
CALIFORNIA i don't think anybody's worried about The menendez brothers
going and killing anybody. ELSE i think they'll think they've
served their, time they're, older they're they're not going to
go out and kill.
Speaker 3 (52:06):
Anybody they weren't bloodthirsty. Before it's what they're going to.
Speaker 2 (52:09):
Say and what they did was, wrong but were their
circumstances that drove.
Speaker 3 (52:16):
Them money was one of.
Speaker 2 (52:17):
Them but, Yeah dad was kind of a richard and
he was awful three, two, three, five three, eight twenty,
four twenty three At Chad Benson show is Your Extra, Insta,
YouTube facebook and more right here in The Chad Benson.
Show and he was the worst type of person and
they were driven to, it which is not an. Excuse
(52:38):
that's bs that being, SAID i don't think they pose
a threat to. Society maybe to the podcast world with their.
Podcast The menendez. Brothers we give. Advice so are you
saying they should get? OUT i am saying they should
be let. Out that is exactly What i'm.
Speaker 3 (52:56):
SAYING i.
Speaker 2 (52:56):
DON'T i think at this point in time they've, served
their family wants them, out their family who was also
family with the murder. VICTIMS i think they want to
put this chapter over and allow them to have some
time on the. OUTSIDE i tell, everybody vast majority of
people in, prison even, murderers get out.
Speaker 3 (53:15):
At some point in. Time just to let you guys know.
Speaker 2 (53:18):
That speaking of courts in the, law there's a lawsuit
to come in for airplanes because people were being sold
window seats only to find out there was no window.
Speaker 30 (53:29):
There sometimes the seats don't quite align with the windows,
themselves because there are certain parts of the plane that
have air conditioning ducks or electrical, ducks and they're, saying,
look we want our money. Back they're also suiting for
millions of, dollars and now they're trying to do a
class action, lawsuit.
Speaker 2 (53:46):
Which makes me laugh because everybody's going to get a
dollar fifty and the lawyers will make millions off of.
This WOULD i be a little, Perturbed, yes how about.
This here's a free coupon to fly next time or
get free. WiFi we can all move on with our. Life,
instead you're going to sue for. Millions it's gonna be
(54:08):
caught up in. Court there's a settlement and everybody's ticket
prices are going to go out three, two, three, five,
three twenty four to twenty three At Chad Benson, Shows Your,

Dead but the controversy Around epstein's not going. Anywhere keep
telling my friends out there who, think, oh it's over
and done, with it's.
Speaker 3 (54:58):
Not remember they're on.
Speaker 2 (54:59):
Vacation excuse, me they're on. Recess they went home so
they could talk through their, constituents, who by the, way
are pissed and want an. Answer and you're going to
see in the coming weeks more and more of the
victims coming. Forward So i'll see and n do a
big thing yesterday on it is That Tara Paul mary
(55:23):
has done so many. Things she may be the person's
who's delved in the deepest in all this. Stuff you
have not checked out her stuff and you're curious about,
it go. See and then you've got Ro kahanna And
Thomas massey who are going to be holding A i
think it's the third Of, september a press conference with
a ton of victims who have never come forward before
(55:47):
And trump and this. ADMINISTRATION i, mean you have to
know something is. Up if you guys didn't see the other,
Night Dan bongino is still the deputy. Director they appointed
a co deputy. DIRECTOR i think he's The age Of
missouri to be the co deputy director With, bongino who
(56:11):
for the most part has been out of the spot.
Speaker 3 (56:14):
Life And i'm sure he's pissed about the.
Speaker 2 (56:16):
Fact that he gave everything up to come over and
work at this administration that he championed, forever including things
like The epstein, files only to be told to shut.
Up but, yeah they're going to go and they're going
to the courts and they're trying to get it. Released
nothing in those things that are sealed right now or
(56:38):
anything that's not available on quote unquote the tens of
thousand files on my.
Speaker 3 (56:43):
Desk that's Bam.
Speaker 23 (56:44):
Bondi The president did order The Justice department to try
to request the release of grand jury testimony related To
Jeffrey epstein and his co Conspirator Delaine, maxwell while a
federal judge has now rejected that request for a third
and final, Time District Judge Richard berman calling it a
diversion from the material that The Justice department and the
(57:05):
government already has in their, hands saying that it would
not better inform the.
Speaker 3 (57:09):
Public and that's what it's. About it's a.
Speaker 2 (57:13):
Diversion you are telling everybody to look over, here and
you move the ball that's in your hand over.
Speaker 3 (57:21):
Here, oh look over. Here, whoo what's in?
Speaker 2 (57:25):
THERE i don't know what's even left that hasn't been.
Destroyed BUT i continue to say this over and over.
Again we think we're the only ones with files and.
Stuff you don't think other nations whose people were caught
up in, this or maybe the nations themselves don't have
(57:46):
stuff in their own, files which is the big. Fear
that's why everybody looks At israel and what's going on over,
there and the fact that we're continuing to side with
them them to do whatever they want. To the people
In gaza and commit atrocities in our name for the most,
(58:09):
part along with, yes they're the ones doing, it but
we're supplying them the, guns the, bullets and we're not
stopping them when we should. Be and the question has
always been why does this group of people have such
a you, know from a pack to To israel's you know,
Leaders why do they have such a massive. Influence is
(58:33):
it that people got caught up in stuff and there's,
blackmail that's always a.
Speaker 3 (58:36):
Possibility it's, possibility it's not.
Speaker 2 (58:41):
But you promise transparency and you've delivered none of that
when it comes to, this.
Speaker 3 (58:49):
AND i think we deserve the.
Speaker 2 (58:51):
Truth and if our government or our allies have been
caught up in this.
Speaker 3 (58:59):
A set actually.
Speaker 2 (59:02):
Being pimps to underage girls for dirty old men so
you could get information and blackmail, material we need to
know about. It we need to correct as much as
we possibly, can because that's the right thing to. Do
AND i don't want to hear, well it's for you,
know the you, know the the ends justified the.
Speaker 3 (59:22):
MEANS, Bs, sorry, no thank, you.
Speaker 2 (59:26):
Three, two, three, five, three, eight twenty four to twenty
three Atch'd benson SHOW x instant all that. STUFF i
love hearing from you. Guys now check this. Out nostalgia
is a big deal.
Speaker 3 (59:37):
Because it's. Memories it's one of the reasons we talk.
Speaker 2 (59:39):
About you, know the why so many of these movies
people get pissed, about you know, what the wokeness and the,
wacky crazy craft that goes on and and and you
know these comic book movies is because you're messing with
people's memories and they don't want. That they want no
part of. That And Cracker bell is getting a huge
(01:00:03):
blowback because they're designing stores that are new and they're
making them modern and, sleek which is not.
Speaker 3 (01:00:12):
What people.
Speaker 2 (01:00:12):
Want you go To Cracker barrel because it's home. Cooking
you go To Cracker barrel because it is comfort. Food it's,
nostalgia and you could spin it however you. Want it's
more monitors mostlyak nobody. Cares that's not what they were asking.
Speaker 31 (01:00:32):
For, honestly the feedback's been overwhelmingly positive that people like
what we're. Doing i'll give you another. SoundBite i actually
happened to be In orlando last week with all of our.
Managers we bring them together and once every other, year
and the number one question THAT i got Asked michael,
was how CAN i get a? Remodel when CAN i
get a? Remodel how DO i get on the? List really,
so because the feedback and the buzz is so, good
(01:00:54):
not only from our customers but from our team. Members
they want to work in a wonderful. Restaurant so.
Speaker 2 (01:01:01):
That right THERE Ceo Julie, messino who is THE ceo
Of Cracker, barrel people want to go in there because
you got the, chachkeys. Right they love the nostalgic portion
of the store where you walk through and you feel
like you're walking through like a you, know if It's.
Halloween It's, halloween and you've got all these, candies and
you've got these, toys and you've got these, outfits and
(01:01:22):
you've got all this stuff you can, buy and it's
like going to a general store back in the. Day
and then they want to go have comfort. Food people
don't want a sleek restaurant where they think Of Cracker.
Barrel you want to know, why because there's other, better
sleeker restaurants that are more modern that you're going to
go to for.
Speaker 3 (01:01:38):
That that's why nostalgia is super important for. Everybody we
all have our comfort.
Speaker 2 (01:01:47):
Food we do and comfort food doesn't mean just, food
it means, life right like. That it's your favorite pair
of jeans that you got that you love the, death
those shoes that you love that you put them, on
and yeah they're kind of beat, up and it doesn't
matter that go to. Sweater it's it's it's it's that nostalgia.
Speaker 10 (01:02:13):
That you.
Speaker 2 (01:02:13):
LOVE i, mean cassette tapes are making a. Comeback, why,
well some of it's driven by the younger, generation there's no,
doubt but my generations buying.
Speaker 3 (01:02:24):
THEM i, mean you can't make a.
Speaker 2 (01:02:26):
Mixtape how do you tell somebody you love Them if
you can't make that mixtape that you've always wanted to.
Speaker 3 (01:02:31):
Make why is that? Nostalgia we like?
Speaker 2 (01:02:36):
It those are the things that we're comfort. To it's
like a television show you turn on where you know
what you're gonna. Get and when you start messing with people's, stuff,
man they don't like.
Speaker 10 (01:02:51):
That they.
Speaker 3 (01:02:52):
Don't we are creatures of, habit.
Speaker 2 (01:02:56):
Right we like, familiarity and when you start messing with,
things you watch what.
Speaker 3 (01:03:03):
Happens it's, True it's.
Speaker 2 (01:03:05):
True AND i keep telling, people, MAN i have seen
this over and over. Again just same thing with movies
and certain things just don't mess with. It, well we
need to. Modernize you don't really need to. Modernize you
need to pick better stores and better, areas and you
need to do what you do. Best and what you
do best is serve comfort food, chicken fried, steak, pancakes meat,
(01:03:30):
loaf and make people feel like they've come home At

Weeks in, fact college football kicks off this we can oh,
baby that's right In. Ireland it kicks off In, ireland
And i'm gonna be there watching, it but not In.
Ireland on my coach last, week we did something on
The Minnesota vikings and their new cheerleader squad.
Speaker 3 (01:05:25):
And the two gentlemen that are on it.
Speaker 2 (01:05:28):
Now we also pointed out that there are men that
have been in cheerleading for, years but they're more of
the stunt, team but they do flips in the whole nine.
Speaker 3 (01:05:36):
Yards these guys are they're. CHEERLEADERS i mean they.
Speaker 2 (01:05:38):
Are they're next to the girls that got the pomp
poms the whole nine yards and, well, people let's just say.
Speaker 3 (01:05:44):
This the reaction has been.
Speaker 5 (01:05:48):
Not.
Speaker 33 (01:05:49):
Good this, morning just weeks before THE nfl regular season,
kickoff some teams are already playing defense after announcing male
cheerleaders would be joining their. Squads shortly, after The Minnesota
vikings posted this video to social media featuring Cheerleaders Blase
chic And Louis. Khan online backlash and hateful comments swiftly,
(01:06:14):
follows one user commenting how, embarrassing another WRITING i just
lost all of my respect for The. Vikings The vikings
organization quickly defending their, cheerleaders saying in a, statement male
cheerleaders have been a part of Previous vikings teams and
have long been associated with collegiate and professional, cheerleading adding
we support all our cheerleaders and are proud of the
(01:06:36):
role they play as ambassadors of the. Organization Now i'm
going to say. This you should know your, audience and
let's be.
Speaker 2 (01:06:43):
Real THE nfl went a little, woke, right then get
battle Over kaepernick and stuff of that. NATURE i was
never the one that goes To i'm nooko to wots
THE nfl because A. KAEPERNICK i. DIDN'T i just you guys,
KNOW i don't do that kind of. CRAP i like,
football So i'm gonna watch.
Speaker 3 (01:06:57):
IT i don't. Care but your, audience this is.
Speaker 2 (01:07:00):
Important it is it, is AND i think that the
hate that they get is it's. Awful some of it's, hilarious,
right because we all could. Hate how could you say
it's hilarious because it's kind of, funny, right you, know
if you've seen the where people just send hate from,
somewhere it'll just say hate From, australia sending hate From.
(01:07:20):
Canada just it's. FUNNY i get that all the, time
AND i just laugh it off and you move. On
but you have to expect some of. That the issue
is you're not going to convince people, that in particular
the audience that is watching the game there for, football
that this is, like, yeah this is. Cool, right you
(01:07:43):
know your, audience your audience are men who like, ladies
but they're not there for. That they're Not there's like
one cheerleader group that anybody In america cares, about and
that's The Dallas Cowboy, cheerleaders and they got A tv.
Speaker 3 (01:07:58):
Show outside of.
Speaker 2 (01:08:00):
THAT i have to be, REAL i didn't know that
every team had.
Speaker 3 (01:08:05):
CHEERLEADERS i didn't.
Speaker 33 (01:08:07):
She can, con appearing to take subtle jabs at haters
sharing this photo and their, uniforms writing, wait did someone
say our?
Speaker 9 (01:08:14):
Name all of us.
Speaker 34 (01:08:15):
Have had experiences like this since the time we started,
dancing growing, up far before we BECAME nfl.
Speaker 33 (01:08:21):
Cheerleaders speaking WITH gma, Overnight Philadelphia eagles Cheerleaders Alex dalton
And james sharing a message for their.
Speaker 34 (01:08:28):
Colleagues we know what it feels like to feel that
somebody doesn't support you for simply doing something that you,
enjoy and so it's been really a pleasure to be
on a team that has multiple boys where we can
fall back on each.
Speaker 3 (01:08:41):
OTHER i would say to keep on.
Speaker 35 (01:08:44):
Dancing you, know you're already doing what you love and
you were selected through this rigorous, process and you deserve
to continue to tune the noise out because at the,
end it's really only you and yourself and you have
to make yourself.
Speaker 3 (01:08:57):
Happy, yeah is it? Worth? It?
Speaker 2 (01:09:02):
Is the less than minimum wage and all the hours
you spend worth. It, again not the stunt. Team stunt
team is. Different you see those guys that are, built
they're usually gymnasts and they're very athletic and they throw
the girls in the.
Speaker 3 (01:09:14):
Air this is not.
Speaker 2 (01:09:15):
Them these guys are pomp on where waivers AND i
knew the hate was gonna, come And i've read some
of it and some of it is so awful because
we look the internet is there's zero accountability when it
comes to saying something to somebody's you, know, face where
you might get punched in the. Face there's none of.
That but that being, said you had to know this was.
(01:09:37):
COMING i would have just turned everything, off every, alert
everything that came through that SAID i had a, NOTIFICATION
i would have muted, everything every single. Thing know your,
audience that's what we're. Saying so we're talking about earlier With.
Speaker 3 (01:09:57):
Cracker.
Speaker 2 (01:09:57):
Barrel know your, audience and you're not knowing your. Audience
your audience Likes Cracker barrel the way it, is and
you went and you tried to make it modern and,
hip and people don't go there because it's modern and.
Hip they go there because it's comfort they're not looking
(01:10:21):
for modern and, Hip they're looking for. Comfort people go
to football games because they want to see guys smash
into each other and they want to cheer and drink a.
Speaker 9 (01:10:28):
Lot of beer.
Speaker 2 (01:10:30):
And bet stuff like. That put it out. There it's
that time of the program where we help you become
more educated enlightened with your younger self by learning the
words of the youth Of. America that's, right, Kids urban
word of the. Day, now it's time.
Speaker 3 (01:10:51):
For the urban word of the.
Speaker 2 (01:10:53):
Day the young have a vocabulary all their, own and
we break it down for.
Speaker 3 (01:10:58):
You it's called the urban word of the. Day all,
right your urban word of the.
Speaker 2 (01:11:05):
Day, remember it's not just a, word you, know we
say a, word but it's a phrase something like. That
so it's not just a singular word because somebody will
go you it was longer than. That, YES i, know
but this is more than. That this is about getting
you that understanding that phrase that when you hear those
(01:11:27):
kids say.
Speaker 3 (01:11:28):
Something like, AHA i know what that, Is.
Speaker 2 (01:11:31):
Okay Hop off Hop off is today's urban word or
expression of the. Day Hop off is an expression you
used to tell someone to stop bothering or annoying another
when he kept pastoring her with. Questions she told him
to hop off and give her some. Space hop off
(01:11:53):
is your urban word of the.
Speaker 3 (01:11:55):

Speaker 2 (01:13:35):
Funny but you, Know trump wants to stop all, wars
talks about all the Time i've stabbed seven wars And
i'm not even sure where that came.
Speaker 3 (01:13:42):
From but, okay.
Speaker 2 (01:13:43):
Whatever but the interesting part is what's going on To
ukraine and he's doing everything can. Okay so for those
of you on the left who want him to fail
because you think your team's gonna get some sort of
brownie points or, something that's. Ridiculous it's as nine and.
Stupid he's, talking he's trying to have. Dialogue you have
to talk To putin to get something done because, uh he's.
Speaker 3 (01:14:07):
Got all the.
Speaker 2 (01:14:08):
Cards oh, yeah AND i don't Think putin's stopping for a.
Moment i've told you guys that over and over. AGAIN
i would love to be. Wrong i'd love to come
back on. HERE i can't believe agreed on.
Speaker 3 (01:14:18):
Everything.
Speaker 2 (01:14:19):
Now he may agree to some sort of weird truce
he sees fire thing and let the clock run. Out
as far As trump, goes BUT i doubt that why would.
Speaker 3 (01:14:30):
He it's the law of diminishing.
Speaker 2 (01:14:33):
Returns he'll eventually satiate his appetite and, THINK i don't
want to have another, bite and that's the one that
makes the stomach feel. Horrible and that's probably what's gonna.
Happen and, then and only, then because we're not gonna
do all the other. Stuff we're all gonna put out
saying we put on twenty thousand sections the the most
sanctioned country on the, planet not only, country but, Individuals
so that ain't gonna. Happen we're not gonna go out
(01:14:55):
and go After india and go after you, Know. China
we've already done. That by the, way it still does
not you, know as far As, india we put that you,
know tariffs on there.
Speaker 3 (01:15:07):
And they don't, care.
Speaker 10 (01:15:10):
You know.
Speaker 2 (01:15:12):
That being, Said trump doesn't want to get. Involved he went, to,
Well i'm not going to take anything, off you, know
the table about.
Speaker 3 (01:15:21):
Potential boots on the. Ground then it was. Yesterday it's,
like no way that's going to. Happen maybe some aras a,
board Let europe kind of deal with it to who knows.
Speaker 2 (01:15:32):
What but he doesn't like war doesn't mean he doesn't
want to bomb. Stuff cause the latest that's coming out
is he may unilaterally go after The mexican. Cartels The
trump administration has directed the military to prepare for lethal
(01:15:54):
strikes against cartels targeted Inside. Mexico three military resources are telling,
well they're telling a lot of. People actually it's getting out.
There this Is Ken, klippenstein and he's got a great.
Substack they've got secret orders to target cartels because they're new.
Speaker 3 (01:16:13):
Terrorists and.
Speaker 2 (01:16:18):
This is HOW i feel about the. Cartels they're, Awful they're.
Horrible we consider here and talk about all of the.
Things they are a terrorist, organization there's no doubt about.
It that being, said the terror they provide is something
we consume.
Speaker 3 (01:16:34):
On our, own.
Speaker 2 (01:16:38):
And that's an. Issue but do they Hold mexico? Hostage,
oh in many areas they. Do in many, areas they absolutely.
Do And i'm. Curious so we've got what four thousand
troops apparently getting ready for something In venezuela and now
(01:16:58):
potentially Into. Mexicoo it feels like we're getting into, stuff
not out of. Stuff So Northcom headquarters In Colorado. Springs
this has been discussed on numerous, occasions especially In. July Colby,
jenkins the Unconfirmed Assistant secretary Of defense For Special operations
And low intensity. Conflict what's a low intensity? Conflicts Like
(01:17:22):
i'm really mad at. You i'm mad at you, too
SO i tell YOU i think you're a, Cherk, WELL
i think you're a. Jerk i'm gonna go. Now feels
like that's the low intensity. Conflict but what they did
say is be prepared that maybe within days there could
(01:17:44):
be something going. Down they also hosted two of the
highest Ranking mexican military, Officials General Ricardo Trevia trejo And
secretary Of National Defense Admiral Raymundo Morales Angelus, Oh secretary
(01:18:05):
of The. Navy i'm curious to see what Would congress
do launching into, this because it's not a, war it
would be a police. ACTION i don't even know what
they would say security. Action how do you justify that
(01:18:27):
because you're bombing into another country that feels like it
should be Worry and what does their president? Think Claudio,
SHINBAUM i don't think she'd be thrilled by The, caesar.
Speaker 3 (01:18:38):
And not like she's thrilled by the.
Speaker 2 (01:18:39):
Cartels let's be, real the, cartels you, KNOW i grew
up in Southern.
Speaker 3 (01:18:44):
California you guys know that you hear me talk about.
It my grandfather was.
Speaker 2 (01:18:48):
From, mexico AND i Mean, Mexico, mexico not like he
he would just throw it like and He. No he
was thick accent today that he called Me. Shad spanish
was his first. Language he Was. American has is the
happiest day of his life when he became a. Citizen
but we used to go every other weekend Into. Mexico
i'd go with him and he when he first started his,
(01:19:10):
business he would collect stuff and he would take it
down To mexico and sell, it and then we go
every other weekend down, there and then we would go
into see his. Family and sometimes that's three four hours
inside the. Border it is not that way. Anymore there
are places you won't even. Go WHEN i was a,
kid going Into tijuana was fun and you would go
over there at fifteen and sixteen by yourself with your. Friends,
(01:19:32):
nowadays no chance in. Hell the, violence not to, mention
although it's better than it's been in the. Past see,
It atuarez was. Horrific there are areas and states In
mexico that are completely run By narco. Terrace there is
(01:19:52):
nothing the police can, do and in many cases they're out.
Gone even the federalities when they, come even when the military,
comes there is a.
Speaker 3 (01:20:03):
Good chance that they're gonna get turned.
Speaker 2 (01:20:05):
Away i'd like to See congress get involved if we're
gonna do. That i'd like it to see it be
a joint operation if we're gonna do. That but if
you're unilaterally just gonna start lobbing stuff, over, YEAH i
(01:20:25):
don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:20:25):
If i'm a fan of.
Speaker 2 (01:20:26):
That if you just decide, Yes i'm gonna do this
regardless of what people. THINK i made the decision to
go after The sinaloa cartel or you know whatever cartel you,
know SETAs nuevo next. Generation that's gonna be interesting because
what's the repercussion on this? Side are they gonna launch
(01:20:50):
something on this side to? Go if that's the way
it's gonna, be let us show you what we can.
Do this was happened to Watch. Landman you know What?
Landman you guys Check landman out three, two, three, five, three,
eight twenty four to twenty three At Chadmentton.
Speaker 3 (01:21:04):
Show is your ex your instant all of those other.
Things guess what happened.
Speaker 36 (01:21:08):
Overnight The Texas house Of representatives approved the controversial new
voting maps designed to Help republicans keep control Of congress
in next year's mid term. Elections the new, maps which
were drawn at the request Of president And, trump are
designed to turn five congressional districts In texas that are
now held By democrats into districts that will likely be
(01:21:28):
won By republicans next.
Speaker 3 (01:21:30):
Year, boy that sounds.
Speaker 2 (01:21:31):
Fun so they did, that and it'll eventually go to
the courts and they'll decide if they can let these
stand or if they're going to have to redraw. THEM
a lot of that has to do, with you, know the.
Jerrymandering are you going to do the minorities? Right so
the the The Civil Rights act, right so you get
(01:21:53):
the voting civil rights? Tacks are you taking away the
voice of people? Minorities is how they're going to look at.
This is it drawn up correctly or did you draw
it up specifically for you to? Win you drew it
up specifically so you never have to worry about anything
in the. General that's the general, though cuz that's the
(01:22:16):
only place that any jerry mandard race has any actual
potential fight the. Generals, nowadays the general, elections they're just their.
FORMALITY i always go back to What Nancy pelosi said
(01:22:37):
when they were talking early on into AOC's i think
first year or so In, congress and she was giving
one of those speeches and she just talked about the
fact that doesn't matter who you run in the district she's.
In and she pointed to a glass of water and she,
said if you put a d by the name of
(01:23:00):
glass of water in her, district it's going to. Win
that's how horrible cherrymandering. Is and we broke it down
how this should. Go they won't do it that. Way
so now the most important thing is the. Primaries the
primaries are super. Important it's the only thing that. Matters
(01:23:25):
very few, States arizona being one of, them where it's
a toss, up especially on you, know senate races and,
governor it's a toss. Up they still have every place
has their gerrymandered, areas and every place has an area
or two that is no.
Speaker 3 (01:23:41):
Matter you didn't have to draw it. Up it Was
republican Or. Democrat we get. That but when you look At.
Speaker 2 (01:23:46):
Arizona AND i said this for, years when you get
to the point where primaries are the only thing that.
Matter what you're going to get is extremes living on the,
edges realizing they never have to change, anything because when
(01:24:06):
it's in a position to where they know they're going
to win the, general they go and win. It and
if you don't force, people don't force them to actually
have a race and come towards the majority of, people.
Speaker 3 (01:24:22):
You see what. Happens and we're really in a position.
Speaker 2 (01:24:25):
Right now WHERE i think we're going to get to
the point where it is going to be extremes living
in The.
Speaker 3 (01:24:33):
Congress more than The.
Speaker 2 (01:24:34):
Senate it's going to be absolutely the, extremes and you're

happened to be In orlando last week with all of our.
Managers we bring them together and once every other, year
and the number one question THAT i got Asked michael
was how CAN i get a? Remodel CAN i get a?
Remodel how DO i get on the? List really, so
because the feedback and the buzz is so, good not
(01:30:05):
only from our customers but from our team. Members they

Show Truth, matters falsehood spread.
Speaker 2 (01:31:28):
Fast Winston churchill, said a lie gets halfway around the
world before the truth has a chance to get its pants.
On came across this New Pew research poll about What
americans worry. About what do they perceive you AND i
(01:31:48):
as the greatest threat TO us as a, Nation and
it was interesting the leader got seven out of, ten much.
Speaker 3 (01:31:57):
Bigger poll than.
Speaker 2 (01:31:58):
Normal too into the Thous Republicans democrats spread of infectious
Disease americans about fifty. Percent global climate change about the same,
economy about the same, terrorism about the same you, know
fifty to sixty. Percent the number one, thing the spread
of false information, online is the thing That americans look
(01:32:23):
at and say that is the greatest threat to. US i,
AGREE i wholeheartedly. Agree there is a thing called illusory.
Truth so the illusory truth effect is pretty. Interesting it's,
(01:32:44):
essentially you tell somebody that lie over and over again
and they believe. IT i, mean that's the simple way
to say.
Speaker 38 (01:32:53):
It most of the, times the reason we believe something
is that we were brought up in an environment with that,
belief was a pope or people around us believe. It,
oh we've heard it again and. Again you. Know one
interesting thing is this is a huge. Effect what people
are not aware of. It as long as you hear something,
repeatedly even, twice the likely that you believe it goes
(01:33:16):
way up versus something that you hear. Once it's called
the illusory truth. Effect just there's so many studies showing.
This you let you tell people something, twice they don't
remember that they've heard it, twice and they're gonna believe
it way more than something that they just heard, once
which is.
Speaker 2 (01:33:33):
Crazy BUT i challenge people that the people that are
consuming it are as guilty as the people that are
telling to. Lie in today's, world there is no excuse
to not fact check something if you're if it's a serious,
issue not like whether or not Like Kentucky Fried chicken
makes a better you, know piece of chicken Than. Popeyes
(01:33:57):
well that's based on, opinion and you can find a
poll for. THAT i, Mean i'm talking about real serious
stuff politics wars, first casualty of.
Speaker 3 (01:34:06):
Wars what the? Truth truth, matters and we don't seek it.
Speaker 2 (01:34:11):
Out and one of the big reasons we don't seek
it out is because it challenges. Us we want comfort and.
Affirmation the last thing we want is to challenge our belief.
Speaker 3 (01:34:26):
About.
Speaker 2 (01:34:26):
Something don't tell me WHAT i need to, hear affirm
WHAT i want to. Hear people always ask me why
DON'T i do like television and why don't do a
lot of the other. Stuff why AREN'T i bigger in
certain areas WHEN i should? Be is BECAUSE i don't
pick a lane and serve a. Customer because, truth everybody
(01:34:51):
should be a customer of.
Speaker 3 (01:34:52):
Truth they should be a consumer of.
Speaker 2 (01:34:55):
Truth but people do don't want, that especially if it challenges,
them and you, guys listen to this. Show you guys
know THAT i tell you every, day challenge your, beliefs
and for, some no matter what, happens they will not. Change,
(01:35:17):
now sometimes you're only giving it an option to look at.
Something sometimes the data is not perfect or it's. Missing
but for most, people, no they just won't do. It
it's a very weird, thing you, Know israel And, gaza
(01:35:37):
what's going on there is. Horrific most of us have
only ever been Fed israel's point of. View and people
In gaza were not. Human they're All, hamas they're future,
terrorists they're all, killers they're, animals. DEHUMANIZED i didn't really
see much over. There and who was telling us? This
(01:36:01):
people who wanted us to believe their point of. VIEW
i was guilty of. It but then you start to, see,
wait there's two sides to. Everything what exactly is going
on After october? Seventh israel at every right to defend,
(01:36:21):
Itself but then you get to a point, where, okay
you went from defending yourself to committing acts of war and,
atrocities potential ethnic. Cleansing and SO i started speaking out
(01:36:44):
And i'll continue to do, so and people who Support.
Israel they don't want to hear anything that there is another.
Side they don't want to hear. Anything and why is
that because it challenges their belief and it makes them,
uncomfortable because they've wrapped themselves in an, identity a cloak
(01:37:07):
of red or blue or any of these.
Speaker 3 (01:37:09):
Things and that is.
Speaker 2 (01:37:10):
Dangerous people always say to, ME i would, say, Look
i'm not, right left.
Speaker 3 (01:37:17):
Right ask me a question about an.
Speaker 2 (01:37:20):
ISSUE i will give you my, opinion and it'll be
a strong, opinion and it's going to be based in
facts and, data not in. Feelings and people are, like,
oh trust, me it was a, goore just middle of the.
Speaker 10 (01:37:35):
Road.
Speaker 2 (01:37:35):
Wrong i'm, passionate But i'm passionate first and foremost about the,
truth no matter which way it. Lies that's a much
harder thing to be than just picking a. Tribe picking
a tribe is. Simple it's easy because you just go
and you just get affirmed over and over. Again that's
(01:37:57):
why you have The foxes of the world in THE.
Msnbc excuse, me ms, now sorry about. That, guys didn't
mean to screw that one. Up that's why you have
The just go feed me the THINGS i want to,
hear even if they're bad for me WHEN i tell,
EVERYBODY i may have an actual appetite food wise of
(01:38:18):
a seven year, old BUT i want to consume everything
information wise from all. Sides when it comes to, actual
real life issues that are going.
Speaker 3 (01:38:31):
ON i wish people were more, curious but they're.
Speaker 2 (01:38:39):
Not and that's a shame because we're living at a time,
when As churchill, said lies get halfway around the.
Speaker 3 (01:38:49):
World the truth hasn't even put his pants.
Speaker 2 (01:38:52):
On and you see it all the. Time and it's
not just, politics it's, entertainment it's. Sports there's tons of
people out there who live to sew. Division but it
must work because they seem to have a lot of
(01:39:14):
consumers who are willing to consume their, crap which is absolutely.

Speaker 2 (01:41:40):
Show as we wrap up the show on This, thursday
we'll get to this day in history in a. Second,
Yesterday Judge DiCaprio. Died you may not recognize the, name
you would recognize his face and his. Voice providence judge
who showed kindness and respect on the bend the way
that very few people, do and we need more of
(01:42:02):
that in this. World and it's a loss for. Everybody
he was amazing for forty.
Speaker 19 (01:42:08):
Years Judge Frank caprio would hear cases from His, Providence
Rhode island bench along the, way earning the reputation As
america's nicest judge.
Speaker 9 (01:42:17):
Based on the three tenths of a. Second the matter is.
Dismissed there was.
Speaker 19 (01:42:20):
The little boy right next to him at the, bench
asked about his dad's traffic.
Speaker 3 (01:42:24):
Ticket guilty or not?
Speaker 10 (01:42:26):
Guilty what do you? Say?
Speaker 11 (01:42:28):
Guilty?
Speaker 19 (01:42:28):
Guilty in later, years his HIT tv Show caught In
providence put his humor and heart on full.
Speaker 2 (01:42:35):
Display he was something and he was eighty, eight still
on the bench up until not too long, ago but
eventually he passed away with the battle to. Cancer but
he talked about the fact that he wasn't always the kind.
Speaker 10 (01:42:51):
Guy.
Speaker 19 (01:42:51):
Judge caaprio would often say he wasn't always so. Compassionate
his first day on the, bench his father proudly watching,
on the young judge was tough on a mother of
four who hadn't paid her parking, tickets and that didn't
sit well with his. Father the moment would change the
course of his life and so many.
Speaker 3 (01:43:09):
Others and it was. True and this is just something he.
Speaker 2 (01:43:13):
Said it's about a minute, long But i'm telling, you,
guys it is worth listening to what he has to
say because you, know as we talk, about you, know, misinformation,
disinformation the anger that people. Have this, GUY i, think
really sells something in everybody which we need to get
back to, doing which is seeing everybody else as individuals
(01:43:34):
and as humans and not as right and left or
whatever craziness is out.
Speaker 20 (01:43:38):
There in my, Courtroom i've seen people at their best
and sometimes at their.
Speaker 9 (01:43:43):
Lowest but no matter who.
Speaker 20 (01:43:45):
Stands before, me rich or, poor young or, OLD i try.
Speaker 9 (01:43:50):
To see something more than just a case.
Speaker 20 (01:43:51):
NUMBER i try to see the, person because behind every traffic,
ticket behind every missed court, date there's a.
Speaker 9 (01:43:59):
Story a single mom trying to.
Speaker 20 (01:44:01):
Make ends, meet a veteran struggling to get back on his,
feet a teenager who just made a. Mistake we all stumble,
sometimes but when we meet those stumbles with kindness instead of,
judgment with, compassion instead of, criticism we give people a second,
chance not just in, court but in. LIFE i believe
(01:44:24):
in the power of mercy because when you show someone
a little, understanding it can change their whole, day sometimes
their whole. Life so here's my message to you. Today be,
kind be, fair be. Human you never know what someone
else is going, through and your compassion might be the
(01:44:44):
one thing they remember.
Speaker 9 (01:44:46):
FOREVER i love.
Speaker 3 (01:44:48):
THAT i absolutely love. That Rip Judge.
Speaker 2 (01:44:52):
Rip All, RIGHT i, said we're going to do this
date in history and we're going to jump straight into.
Speaker 3 (01:44:55):
It are you ready for?
Speaker 2 (01:44:56):
It it is the twenty first Of, august in the
year of The, lord twenty twenty. Five but did you

Once upon in, time a long time.
Speaker 3 (01:45:05):
Ago now it's time for this day in.
Speaker 2 (01:45:07):

Speaker 3 (01:45:12):

Speaker 2 (01:45:16):
Eleven The Mona lisa is stolen from the, news the
iconic painting By, leonardo and she was taken by Three italian.
Handymen took two years before they recovered. It and by the,
way that event catapulted this into a. Stratosphere The Mona lisa, said,
well you know now it is truly. Priceless there's nothing
(01:45:38):
you can do money wise to pay for, that which
is crazy because it's painting eighteen thirty. One on this
day in, history That turner's rebellion begins in a slave
preacher and At turner led a major uprising In virginia
that resulted in numerous deaths and intensified the debates here
In america over.
Speaker 3 (01:45:56):
Slavery also on this.
Speaker 2 (01:45:58):
Day in, history nineteen fifty, Nine america grew a little.
Speaker 21 (01:46:04):
Bit it's nati official at The White, House PRIs Of

simple ceremonies that remake the geography of The United, states
adding the fiftieth and the southernmost states with the land
area of six and a half thousand miles at a
(01:46:25):
population of six hundred, thousand.
Speaker 22 (01:46:27):
GENTLEMEN i think that we shall recognize that this is
truly a historic occasion because for the second, time within
a little over the, year a new state has been
admitted to The. Union it had been a long time
any state since then the state had been.
Speaker 10 (01:46:48):
Admitted so to have this forty.
Speaker 22 (01:46:51):
Ninth and fiftieth member of Our union in such a short.
Speaker 10 (01:46:55):
Space is truly a unique.
Speaker 2 (01:46:57):
Experience experience as well because we had to get the
flag fixed and add more stuff to, it so ninth row,
added so fifty. Start see where we're going with that
One also on this day in, history assassination Of Andngino Aguero,
junior Prominent filipino opposition, leaders killed upon arrival at The Manila.
(01:47:18):
Airport also on this day in, history The Lake nios
disaster And.
Speaker 3 (01:47:23):
Cameroon so.
Speaker 2 (01:47:27):
This, lake it is, massive and what happened is there
was a build up underneath the. Lake there's almost this
film on top of it that kept all of THIS
co two.
Speaker 9 (01:47:41):
In deep.
Speaker 2 (01:47:42):
Water, eventually, though it came through and the carbon dioxide
went out and spread because of an earthquake or a
small volcanic eruption, underneath causing the deaths of almost eighteen
hundred people and three thousand or so animals and. Livestocks
it was a mystery for a. While they've fixed it
(01:48:02):
now they've got pipes in. There very interesting, Indeed and
