Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
You know, normally these weeks leading up to Labor Days
start to get really quiet. Everybody's on recess, right, they
all got to go on to recess and all of
that stuff when it comes to politics. But it's Trump
and it's never ending. So yesterday we got executive order
for the flag. We'll talk about that in a minute.
We got, of course more, we're coming after your city
(00:35):
if you don't do stuff, and we're going to fire
one of the Fed governors because of mortgage fraud. She
lied apparently on an application, allegedly on two applications saying
they were her homes that were primary residents to get
favorable loan rates. What this is where we are? Yeah, well,
(01:00):
let's not forget. We got Kilmaro Brago Garcia, the Maryland Father,
Maryland Father.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
He's facing criminal charges filed after his deportation to Al
Salvador became the focus of an international controversy. Abrego Garcia
has pleaded not guilty, but his attorneys stay the administration
offered him a deal. If he changed his plea and
served time in prison, he would then be deported to
Costa Rica, which has agreed to accept him.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
As a refugee or a resident.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
They say, if he didn't take the deal, he'd be
deported to Uganda.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
So those are your choices. Go to jail. He faces
up to ten years in prison. And this is for smuggling.
A lot of people think it was traffiing it. No,
it was smuggling. Smuggling is different. You're moving somebody from
point A to point B. They're know that you're moving them.
They're aware of this. They want you to get them somewhere.
(01:49):
That's their thing. They're paying you, or a company is
paying you to smuggle person a to be because that
person wants to be there. Didn't get hm for human
trafficking and a couple other things. And he faces up
to ten years in prison. Now choice A is plead guilty,
do up to ten years in prison, then go to
(02:12):
Costa Rica. Choice B is Uganda.
Speaker 5 (02:16):
As Kamar Abricor Garcia was leaving the jail in Tennessee
and was in his car on the way up to Maryland.
The government designated Uganda as the country of removal. It
is preposterous that they would send him to Africa, to
(02:40):
a country where he doesn't even speak the language, a
country with documented human rights violations when there are so
many other options. This family suffered enough.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
So that's his attorney. I have no idea what's going on.
So from what I get, he is going to at
least at this moment, be protected from from, you know,
being deported at this moment because everything changes and they
may just got script. We're gonna fly him somewhere. What
(03:10):
are you gonna do about it?
Speaker 4 (03:11):
A judge ruled yesterday that for now the government is
forbidden from sending Abrego Garcia to Uganda while this matter
is litigated. So more time in court, more fights over
this man's freedom and whether he will be deported.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
He's going to be deported. I mean, look, whether you
think he is the saint that the Left has made
him out to be or any of the stuff that
you know, I mean, because they've overdone it with him,
or you just think, hey, I shouldn't you know? He's
not a bad guy. I don't think he's what they've
(03:48):
made him out to be. None of that matters. He's
going to be deported because he's got two orders to
be removed. Isn't that what the left wants? What everybody wants,
I want it, not even on the left or the right,
because you both tried me insane. What I'm saying is
he had his due process, he had his day in
the court. The day in court is you're here illegally,
(04:10):
so you must leave. And then they appealed and they said, no,
you're here illegally, you must leave. I thought that was
the whole point. So we'll see, We'll see where he
ends up. Like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if
I woke up tomorrow and he's in Uganda. They speak
English and Uganda, by the way, that's their language of choice. Meanwhile,
(04:34):
Trump's decided apparently the most insane thing. I had a
double check this. I'm like, there's no way what So
Trump's decided, Hey, six hundred thousand versus Chinese students. I
thought we were in a trade war with him six
hundred thousand.
Speaker 6 (04:53):
It's good, Presidency would like me to come to China.
It's a very important relationship. As you know, we're taking
a lot of money in from China because of the
tariffs and the different things, and it's a very important relationship.
We're going to get along good with China. I used
so many stories about we're not going to allow their students.
So we're going to allow.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
Their students to come in.
Speaker 6 (05:15):
We're going to allow it's very important, six hundred thousand students.
It's very important. But we're going to get along with China.
But it's a different relationship that we have now with China.
It's a much better relationship economically than it was before.
With Biden, what he allowed that, I mean they just
took him to the cleaners.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
You know, what, what are you talking about? Six hundred
thousand excuse me, eh?
Speaker 7 (05:37):
What?
Speaker 2 (05:39):
By the way, the right side of X Twitter whatever
not thrilled about this. And that includes people that would
normally fight with each other like MTG and Laura Lumer,
all of those. They're all like, no, no, no, this
is not America. First, what is this all about? I
thought you were going to be strong on China. You're
a lot. First of all, you're allowing them to get chips,
(06:01):
but Nvidia has to pay us fifteen percent or whatever,
ten percent whatever they agreed upon. But they're second generate.
It doesn't matter. They don't need the help. Now you're
allowing six hundred thousand students to come here, no offense.
I have issues with that. This is not what a
(06:22):
lot of people signed up for myself included. Love what
you've done on the border. Not thrilled by the deportations
the way you've gone about it, because I think it
became so antagonistic to show force. I wasn't thrilled by that.
On the other side of it, when it comes to
the trade, you're all over the place, and don't tell
(06:42):
me we're bringing in so much money from do or not?
Who do you think writes those checks? If you import something,
the tariff is on you the importer, not China, not China.
So Chad's Chachki's phenomenal. By the way, if you want
some chochkes, we got a bunch, go to chadbands show
(07:03):
dot com. So if I have Chad shotkes, which are
phenomenal again, uh A plus rated, And I import a
million dollars worth of chochkeys and so here comes to
the chochkeys, right, So I've imported them all. Now they
say there's a tariff. Does China pay the tariff? No
(07:27):
they do not. Who pays it more Chad of Chad Shotchkes.
So I have to write out a check for whatever
it is, fifteen percent. I'd be one hundred and fifty
grand twenty five percent. That's a you know, cool quarter
of a million dollars. So just putting that out there,
some things the countries on the other side will eat
(07:53):
a little bit, but not all of it. But this
whole thing with the students, it was three hundred thousand,
Now it's six hundred thousand.
Speaker 8 (08:01):
Mister secretary, with all due respect, how is allowing six
hundred thousand students from the communist country of China putting
America first.
Speaker 7 (08:13):
Well, the President's point of view is that what would
happen if you didn't have those six hundred thousand students
is that you'd emptied them from the top. All the
students would go up to better schools, and the bottom
fifteen percent of universities and colleges would go out of
business in America.
Speaker 9 (08:30):
So his view is.
Speaker 7 (08:31):
He's taking a rational economic view, which is classic Donald
Trump looking at higher education saying, but why do we
modify that?
Speaker 2 (08:41):
That?
Speaker 8 (08:41):
Just how Harvard and UCLA and U cal Berkeley and
I you' all help in those schools. Why they're like,
you know, ventually factories of anti American propaganda. Now they're
getting a big influx of cash because of the Chinese students.
I mean, I know President Trump has always been very
pro oh Chinese student. I just don't understand it for
(09:02):
the life of me. Those are six hundred thousand spots
that American kids won't get.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
And don't look if you're college, can't say in business,
unless you import hundreds of thousands of students the bottom
fifteen percent or whatever, that's a you problem, the fact
that you need to import that many people. And again
which she talks about UCLA and Hobbard and all of them,
(09:28):
what ends up happening is they're going to get a
vast majority of these Chinese students, upper echelon, well to do,
paying cash up front, very bright kids who are going
to then be allowed into Harvard. And then these students
that potentially could have gotten in to Harvard, they're going
to bump down to school and then so on and
so forth in that bottom fifteen will then, you know,
(09:52):
get their group of kids. I guess just insane. And
we can sit here and kind of gloss over the
other side of it, which is what about the spying.
Right when you look at it, it's the old saying,
(10:16):
and you can get pissed to me all right. Not
every Chinese student is a spy. For the most part,
a lot of the spies are Chinese students. Professors. We
see this. The FBI's done research and we've had on
numerous professionals that have all said the same thing over
(10:37):
and over again, which is, it's not if, but when,
and just because you don't think you're going to do
something for the Chinese Communist Party, The reality is you
come to this country, you may be living your life,
loving America, and the knock on the door comes because
Grandma and Grandpa and mom and dad are still home.
So what now it is to me? I find it
(11:05):
ridiculous and I say this over and over again. If
we're this worried about China and the potential of what
might be down the road in a clash, the fact
that Trump continues to deal with them the way he does,
the fact that he absolutely talk gos chickens out when
it comes to a lot of these things. When it
(11:26):
comes to trade, either do it or don't do it.
But this is ridiculous. Three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is your acts,
your Insta all the other things? Are you anti Chinese. No,
I'm pro America. Don't worry. You guys can yell at me.
In a minute, we'll do something about Israel. Do you
(11:46):
guys call me anti Semitic? See the way it's going today, kids,
Birch Gold speaking of chaos, craziness and lunacy all over
the globe. Birch Gold wants to help you with that.
Why is it simple? Because they understand unsettling in the market.
What's going on with the Fed? Will there won't they?
When it comes to rates, you're seeing more and more
(12:09):
large institutions purchase gold for a reason. In unsettled time,
there is a flight and it's to gold to protect.
Diversification is key, and so is knowledge. Birch wants to
get you out the information about gold. Let you take
a look at what's going on there, give you the
understanding and idea. Okay, this is how it works. This
is what I want you to do. Text the word
(12:29):
benz into ninety eight, ninety eight, ninety eight today for
Birch Gold. They'll get you out of infoc it. Let
you take a look, no hard sale, none of that stuff.
They're going to show you that you can own the
physical you can even move over an IRA a four
to one k or savings into a tax sheltered IRA
backed by Gold. It's that simple, A plus rated by
the Better Business Bureau. They're who I go to when
(12:50):
it comes to precious metals. Text the word Benson now
to ninety eight ninety eight ninety eight today for Birch Gold.
This is the Chad Benson Show. Chad Benson. So yesterday,
(13:17):
if you didn't see, Israel bombed a hospital. I think
it was the last hospital that was there. They double
tapped it. Who did they kill? Does it matter? Because
they're all part of Hamas as We all know this.
We're being told day in and day out, that's it.
(13:37):
But maybe this was an oopsy because there was some
journalists there, and they've killed more journalists than all of
the other major conflicts combined. But they're all working for
you know, Hamas, that's what they go with. But this
one maybe an.
Speaker 10 (13:53):
It's understood there was a strike on the fourth floor
of that hospital. As soon as medics arrived, first responders
and you know the crowds of people who generally tend
to rush in when there are strikes in Gaza, including
of course journalists. A second strike, hit.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
And you can see that because it's everywhere. So they're
there and you know there's chaos, and they hit them again,
because that's what you do when you're committing absolute atrocities.
Let's stop pretending anymore. And I'm saying, you know, oh,
you're anti Israel. No I'm not. I think the damage
(14:37):
being done by the leaders of Israel right now is tremendous.
And I'll say it over and over again because I'm
not afraid to others in my business. They're so whipped
and afraid. Ah God, I'll say it. The damage being
done is massive. This is the shot they feel that
(15:01):
they have to take now because they understand a younger
generation wants no part of this period, no part of
this and these older boomers right and evangelicals, but in
particular the dispensationalist who think that once they take over, right,
(15:21):
they've got everything. Israel does what they're supposed to do,
and they assume and take the land, and then they
do whatever they're going to do with the Dome of
the Rock, and then they put up the Third Temple
and it's going to usher in. Yeah. Meanwhile, in real time,
we're watching a genocide three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Shows, your ex
(15:44):
your Insta, YouTube, Facebook, and more right here on the
Chad Benson Show. And every day they come out and
try to explain more and more to everybody what's going
on there with the way that they're handling this is
is moral and right. And don't listen to anything. I
(16:04):
have eyes. That's all the listening I need to do
in this business. Right I get a lot of pushback.
I don't care because my thing is I care about truth.
I don't care about the rest of the crap. I'm
not here for the rest of the crap. I want
to know what the truth is and we can go
from there, not how you want to spin it.
Speaker 7 (16:27):
To me.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
I don't give a rat's ass about that. I want
to know what the truth is. I'm a follower of Christ.
It's that simple. I am looking and thinking. If Jesus
came down here right now, he'd have a lot of
issues with us as human beings. I believe myself included
by the way. I'm no peach. I'm the first one
(16:49):
to say, yeah, I pretty much suck that being said,
don't blow smoke and if he came down here, I
think he'd look over there and go, yeah, you think
this is it? You think this is what I this
is what I want. You think this is it? And
I get a ton of pushback. I get tons of
emails and text messages and dms from groups one or
two in particular that can't stand me. And this is
(17:11):
not about the people of Israel. It's not about the Jews.
This is about what's happening over there and human beings.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three
at Chad bensa sho's here, ext your instant coming up.
We're gonna talk to Mike Liones, our military analyst. Was
Trump played or is just just one of those things
where all of the cards are truly in the pooter's
(17:33):
hand and he'll decide when the thing comes to the end.
We discussed that already had Chad Benza.
Speaker 11 (17:38):
Chown Chad Benson Joe.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
The Chad Benson Show that time of the week we
talked to I do believe the best military analysts in
the business, tired major in the army and the man
who gets us through all the chaos and craziness when
it comes to world affairs, especially in the battlefield. Mike lyons,
all right, let's first and foremost. I don't want to
(18:23):
say Trump got played. That's the way a lot of
people want to come at this. But the reality is
Trump had no cards. They're worth of damn playing. The
Europeans had none of that. And when all of a
sudden done, what we're getting is the same thing you
and I have talked about and you've said forever. When
Putin decides he's you know, satiated his appetite, that's when
this thing will be over.
Speaker 9 (18:44):
Yeah, chah, great to be back with you. For sure.
Speaker 12 (18:47):
There was never any really leverage on Putin to make
a deal there. There's you know, Trump likely gets out
over skis a little bit thought this is going to
be more transactional. The European leaders had no choice. They
had to try to jump on it because if it
was going to be it was you know, on their
upside to try to do that. And then this this
report comes out this week about the Pentagon not allowing
(19:08):
Ukraine to attack deep deep targets with a tackles. It's
a little bit concerning to me given what Trump has
been saying. I think Trump did did flip a switch
a little bit about supporting Ukraine going on the offense,
and now we come to find out the Pentagon has
been putting the brakes on that. So a couple of
breakdowns I think are taking place in the Trump administration.
And I'm not sure people are really talking about just yet.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
So why would I mean, they're in a war. I mean,
it's not just about I mean, you know, we're selling
him stuff that can get there and then we're telling me,
all right, but you can't use it. That feels very
much like what Biden was doing.
Speaker 12 (19:42):
Yes, and what Biden was doing or what he did,
I'll give him credit for opening up the supply chain
and creating that that operation. There a guy named Kris
Don who a general in our army behind the scenes
doing all that. But still it was still it was
a slow attrition with regard to their capability to use it.
(20:04):
They still held them back. Now the last year though
they gave them permission to attack into Russia military targets,
not even infrastructure though the Rushia you've got to go
after their infrastructure targets. You've got to go with their
capability to create economic value. And I think that's what
they weren't able to do, and then when Trump comes
on board, it reversed, it went back and again, I
(20:27):
think a lot of it has to do with this
lack of the National Security Council not being in charge
of anything or not making sure that government agencies are
doing the will of the president. And you've got personality
in the Pentagon that the thought that this was more
important to do it this way.
Speaker 9 (20:45):
I think that's going to change now.
Speaker 12 (20:46):
I think you'll see US allowing Ukraine to open up
their offensive weapons systems.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
Talking to Mike Liones military analysts, we talk about's going
on globally when it comes to well, the conflicts that
are out there. The reality of this is, you know,
and we've touched on this forever in today, the god
knows how many people, I mean, Russia has changed future
wise forever. Not just the brain drain which people have
left in the millions the youngsters, but you're killing off
(21:12):
a young population and that has got to at some point,
I think, sync into the average person's day to day
life that hey, there's not a lot of young kids
around here, there's not only men in particular, what are
we going to do future wise?
Speaker 12 (21:29):
Yeah, this is beyond now Afghanistan. From what Russia did
then it's a lot worse. And you know, Vladimir Putin,
I you know, he's at the end of his life
so to speak. Right He's not going to live forever, obviously,
but he still believes from a calculus perspective that he
could still win this war and still take take down
the Zolensky government and end up controlling all of Ukraine.
(21:51):
It's it's that kind of thing about, you know, just
one more battle, one more you know, one more push here,
and we'll get it.
Speaker 9 (21:56):
This time. This is a tackle, will do it.
Speaker 12 (21:58):
I think that's what's in the mentality of the Russian
military right now. But it's not proving out. Ukraine is
tremendously resilient. We're gonna, I believe this. The first batches
of these extended range attack munitions are on the way
there right now, So there's going to be more offensive
capability of Ukraine is going to open up, and it's
going to be really difficult for Russia to sustain what's
(22:20):
going on.
Speaker 9 (22:21):
What they're trying to do.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
Mike, what kind of like the training because you know,
one of the things we've always talked about is the
stuff that we have at times is so advanced and
while they have been able to grill a warfare and
do a lot of stuff with drones, but like for
some of this bigger stuff that's going to go deeper
into Russia potentially, is there is there a learning curve
or is this just point, aim and shoot?
Speaker 12 (22:40):
Yeah, great point A lot of it is that. A
lot of it is, you know, kind of fire and forget,
point and shoot. A lot of even the drone technology,
even at the at the user level, frankly, is designed.
Speaker 9 (22:52):
To be video game like.
Speaker 12 (22:54):
I know that I've seen some of the things that
we've were doing with with the drone technology, but it
is it's a lot of intel that's also driven from
the United States. That's the other soft power the US
provides to Ukraine is that the targeting capability. What's happening though,
is you've got to be able to match the target
(23:14):
capability with the time on target to make sure that
the target's still legitimate when you decide to fire, when
you decide to engage it. And that's where the Pentagon
was holding up Ukraine. Ukraine would be calling back to
say he look, we got a target here. We want
to go after and by the time the Pentagon gave
any kind of approval, that target was gone. So but fundamentally,
because of our technology, it is point and shoot, and
(23:36):
it's a I call it fire and forgat because you're
already on. Once you fire, that's that's a dead target
on the other side, and then you're on to the
next one.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Talking to my clients military analysts, we talk about what's
going on with Ukraine and Russia. How is Europe looking
at all this? I mean, that's the other side of it,
and we talk about us. The fact is as well,
we're sending lots of weapons that their next store. That's
why they were all here last year last week talk
talking about all this stuff. What is their sense of
any of this because I think they get left out
(24:05):
of this, but it is on their doorstep, it's not
on our doorstep.
Speaker 12 (24:08):
Right, I think you know they're they're starting to come
to grips with this economic pressure that they know that
they're going to have to put on. Here it's being
helped because Ukraine is attacking some of these the domestic
production of fuel capability that Russia has. Germany in particular,
who wants to try to change things. Wants to try
(24:30):
to become a better alley, I guess is the best
way to put it. They're going to have to figure
out alternate means of coming up with energy that's going
to be permanent.
Speaker 9 (24:39):
Again, you know, you.
Speaker 12 (24:40):
Don't outsource a core competency if you want to have
a country, and that's energy.
Speaker 9 (24:44):
Here, Donald Trump say that all the time.
Speaker 12 (24:45):
Right you can't outsdore steel, you can't outsource he's talking
about chips now. So the leadership of Germany did not
do the future Germans in any favors. Right now, Europe
is ready to send men. Though they're ready to send people,
put them on the ground part of a security agreement.
Once Vladimir Putin got that, and now he recognizes that
that's leverage over Europe because he's now not going to
(25:07):
approve that because he feels that ups the whole battle
between the Russia and NATO, which is what Russia thinks
is they're mortal enemy. So that's going to just help
him domestically and internal by if that had ended up happening,
that would allow him to send more troops to the front.
Speaker 2 (25:24):
Talking to my clients military analysts, as we discuss the
chaos and craziness of Ukraine. Chances that this thing gets
done before the end of the year, that there's any
real sit down, because you've said you don't think that
they'll even be in the same room together, Zelenski and
the Pooter. Do you think that this gets done by
the end of the year.
Speaker 9 (25:43):
I don't.
Speaker 12 (25:43):
I think that you heard the President say yesterday he
expects Zelenski and Putin to get together beforehand make a deal.
That he's now completely putting that, offloading it and moving
it to them because he's recognized that it's just too difficult.
Speaker 9 (25:58):
A lot of it just has to do with our
n SC as well.
Speaker 12 (26:00):
I come back to that and about how dysfunctional a
little bit on national security community is right now. I'm
a little disappointed. A lot of it has to do
with I'll go back. You know, almost three presidential administrations.
We haven't had like normalcy in this in a while.
We have politicians that, you know, we know what the
Democrats say about Trump when he travels, he's a Russian agent.
I mean that never used to be the case, and
(26:23):
we would have an NSC that was strong enough to stop,
you know, keep everybody in line within within the government here,
I don't think there's anybody in our government really working
on a back channel. We talked about, you know what
it takes to create some kind of a deal. Well,
people got to be working and talking, and they've got
to be putting stuff on paper, and they have to
be going back and forth. And our NSC has been
sidelined for doing that. So it's not going to happen organically.
(26:45):
And if it's if we're not going to do it
through our diplomatic channels, it's it's definitely not going to
happen organically.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
Talking to my client's military analysts as we talk about, well,
the chaos that's going on the globe real quick. I'll
get to Israel in a second. But we're we're sending
some troops over to Venezuela, if you will, in and
around the waters around there. And I hear it's about cartels,
But you know what, I'm not an idiots. I know
(27:12):
that Guyana has a lot of oil and we've got
things there and Venezuela wants to take over some of
that land and the oil. I feel it's more about
that than the cartels.
Speaker 12 (27:25):
Well, I think it is. I think it's a projection
of power. There would be no fight, obviously, no match
between US and that country down there. And I think
that's what that projection is going on. You know, anything
in our hemisphere we're going to make sure we take
care of. There's significant oil resources that exist inside of Venezuela,
I think more than in Saudi Arabia, frankly, and you know,
(27:47):
you project two or three hundred years from now and
you and I are gone, but you know what the
world could look like based on the natural resources that
exists there.
Speaker 9 (27:57):
Who can try to control that?
Speaker 12 (27:58):
The Chinese obviously would like to have a say in that,
but the United States really needs to get its act
together and figure out what to do in our own hemisphere.
So I think that's what's what's what's going on there.
You don't put forty five hundred marines and float them
off shore or a country in a non training, extra formal,
non training exercise unless you know you plan on, you know,
potentially using them as a show of force.
Speaker 9 (28:20):
I think that's what's going on.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
What is China and think of something like that. They're
seeing us right here with Israel, They're seeing what's going
on in you know, Ukraine, what is their their take?
Are they just like, yeah, you know what, let the
let the Americans be completely occupied by all this crap
and we'll just kind of take the other side with
a smirk and a laugh. What do they think about this?
Speaker 12 (28:41):
Well, I think at some point the Chinese have got
to decide they're going to support their vassal state or not.
And I think that's what Donald Trump believes he could
peel Russia away from China. I think that that has
a pipe dream now at this point. But so they
they're not, you know that they're not going to get involved,
and I think until until it maybe is more of
(29:03):
a crisis here, they are just, you know, culturally and traditionally,
they just are playing the long game here and just
hoping all the sides out there are just going to
tire themselves out and then they'll they'll they'll kind of
sneak in through the back door and be able to
exert influence that way.
Speaker 9 (29:20):
I mean, China, you know, possesses.
Speaker 12 (29:23):
Projects power throughout Africa and throughout all these other countries.
Right now, they're projecting an incredible amount of power in
the Pacific with the navy that they've built up six
hundred plus ships. So you know that's that's their game
right now, and at some point it'll be one of
more of inertia that has taken over as opposed to
anything kinetic.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
Talking to Michael Lines, military analyst, one more quick question
I saw last week read that a little rocketman is
talking about AI and nukes, which scares me because I'm
not quite sure how good their AI would be, is it.
I mean, you've already said it. Look, AI is this
is the It's not even the future, it's the now.
And that's ares me that he's talking about AI with
nukes because, like I said, no offense. North Korea doesn't
(30:04):
seem to be on the cutting edge of.
Speaker 12 (30:05):
Stuff, right And Chad, you know we've talked about if
you want to be a nuclear power, you have to
be you know, you have one thing to have a nuke,
and it's another thing to deliver a nuke. And what
AI could help them do is deliver the nuke they Obviously,
South Korea is somewhat threatened by North Korea's capability, and
in fact, you had the South Korean leader talked to
Trump yesterday about it.
Speaker 9 (30:26):
He wants Trump.
Speaker 12 (30:26):
To re engage with North Koreans and uh and to
try to do something there. But but this technology could
likely help with with North Korean targeting. That's been their points.
They can get rockets in the air, but they just
don't even.
Speaker 9 (30:43):
Know where they're going to go.
Speaker 12 (30:44):
Uh and and again they have this capability to do that.
So I think that's what that's what we have to
be concerned about. Missile defense is very is very iffy,
and which is why we have to continue to project
a lot of naval power in that part of the
world because if, if, and when the North Koreans decide
to do something, US destroyers carriers groups will we need
to on provide the air defensive platform to protect our
(31:06):
assets there.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
He is the best dam of military analyst period case closed.
Retired Major Mike Lyons appreciate you coming on man. You
have yourself a good and safe Labor Day weekend, and
we'll do it again next week.

I was joke. That's the truth. That's what you need.
(31:39):
Cybersecurity threats are exploding, ransomware, phishing, identity theft, data breaches.
I go on and on. Do you know last year
trillions of dollars we're stolen. This year, they're looking at
ten trillion by the end of this year. And it's
not just big corporations. Hackers are going after everything, families,
small business, individuals. Don't let that happen. That's why I
(32:01):
use Webroot. Now. This is the same cloud based protection
the pros trust. It's lightning fast. Okay, so it's lightweight,
credible for blocking phishing sites, no slowdowns, no annoying pop ups,
real time protection against the most advanced cyber threats. You
do not want that. They want your data, they want
to come after you. You don't want that happening to you.
(32:23):
Protect yourself and do it with Webroot. Do not wait,
protect your identity, protect your family, protect yourself because they're
coming for you. It's not if, but when and when
they find out you have Webroot doesn't matter. That's what
I want you to do. Go to webroot dot com
slash Chad. You're going to say fifty percent, but only
there at that special url fifty percent right there, webroot
(32:47):

(33:08):
I know you are. Chad bensa show deep states no
deep doo doo.
Speaker 6 (33:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
The Chatmson Show is that time of the program people,
where we go back in time, if you will, and
we find out what took place on today's date, but
in a different year. Today's date is the twenty sixth
of August in the year Lord twenty twenty five. But
there were other August twenty six and on other August
twenty six some important things happen. I think you know
(33:45):
what time it is. Want to find in time a
long time ago. Now it's time for this day in history.
We look back on this set to find out what
the famous things took place. All right, kids, on this
day only history. We could go way back, but why
do that, right, we can kind of stay in and
around modern ish times. Right. Nineteen twenty nineteenth Amendment was adopted, Ladies,
(34:12):
you get a vote. There you go, congratulation. Nineteen fifty seven,
Russia tests and intercontinental Ballistic missile. They announced it had
been successfully tested. Glynda B. Johnson on this day in
nineteen sixty four, accepted the Democratic nomination for president in
nineteen sixty eight. Four years later in Chicago, well, the
(34:33):
DNC got underway, and let's just say it didn't go
the way that they thought it was going to go.
Speaker 13 (34:39):
There have been some demonstrations at this early hour in
downtown Chicago's in Grant Park. We heard a moment ago
that tear gas has been used as the demonstrators are
attempting to form a line of parade and march toward
or on the Amphitheater.
Speaker 2 (34:57):
That's right on this day. Because of Vietnam what was
going on. Protests were huge, and we know what happened
there on this day in history. Nineteen seventy eight, there
was a number one album Grease. The movie soundtrack earned
its second number one hit. Frankie Valley's Grease reached number one.
In nineteen eighty six, the Preppy murders stunned New York
(35:21):
and on this day in twenty sixteen, Colin Kaepernick sits
during the national anthem. Of course, we know what happened
from there. Some of the things that took place on
this day, August twenty sixth in history three, two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson
shows your Acts, your Insta and all the other things
right here on the Chad Benson Show, coming up, hour
(35:42):
number two. Speaking of the flag, we touched on a
little bit earlier. There is an issue in Britain right now,
in England in particular with the flag, and I'm not
talking about the Union Jack, so we got to kind
of square that. But let's just say England and Britain
in itself they're having serious issues. And I feel like
the bubble over there is about to burst and it's
(36:03):
about to get uglier than people realize. Thank god, we've
got free speech here. We'll talk a little bit about
that moron kilmar Abrego Garcia. Plus we've got an Epstein update.
He's still dead, but Maxwell, well, she's alive. What did
she actually say, we'll discuss that as well. If you're
listening to show Shama and you've got the podcast our
number two straight ahead Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
So the Fed, what are they gonna do there? Sounds
like they're gonna get rid of somebody who is not
playing ball and Trump doesn't like that.
Speaker 14 (37:04):
In an unprecedented move, President Trump announcing he's firing Lisa Cook,
a Biden appointed Federal Reserve governor, citing allegations she submitted
fraudulent information on mortgage applications. In a letter to Cook
posted on social media, the President said he determined there
is sufficient cause to remove Cook from her position, though
she's not been charged with any wrongdoing.
Speaker 2 (37:26):
So, as we know, Trump got in trouble for issues
similar to this, but that was civil, that was not criminal.
They're saying this is criminal. And the reason Leticia James
went after in the civil trials because civil has a
much lower burden when it comes to proof this. I
(37:48):
have no idea apparently she from everything I've read, and
I've read way too much about a FED governor that
I care to think about. But the way that this
has broken down. Is she being Lisa Cook the Fed
governor and by the way, they have fourteen years they're
appointed to the board. And the reason is because you're
(38:10):
going to go through ebbs and flows when it comes
to administrations, you're supposed to act independently. There's not supposed
to be any politics involved, and you're not supposed to
be swayed because you have stability in that position. What
they are alleging is that in two thousand and one
she declared two separate home, one in Michigan and one
in Georgia as her primary residence on the mortgage forms
(38:34):
to secure better loan terms. Now it has been referred
to the Department of Justice, and now they're going to
try to fire she said. Now, now, under the Federal
Reserve Act, the president can only remove a governor right
for cause misconduct while in office, not prior private actions.
Legal experts are saying, then they claim mortgage issue precedes
(38:57):
Cook's appointment, and they're for they should have known about this,
So this is something in theory she shouldn't be removed
for because you had opportunities prior to this to vet
it and you didn't, And so what do I think
is going to happen. Uh core battle ludnik.
Speaker 7 (39:16):
But the issue is a federal government. A governor of
the Federal Reserve literally signs her name and commits mortgage
for it. Right, it's a leeged that she's committed mortgage fraud.
And she says, I'm not going anywhere. Well, the crook
always says, I'm not going anywhere, And why would anybody
defend that. The real question should be did she commit
(39:39):
mortgage for it? Yes or no? And if you did
commit mortgage fraud, please get out of the federal government,
get out of the seat of the governor of the
Federal Reserve and go away. You don't deserve to be
there if you've committed mortgage fraud. Right, it's black and white,
if you've committed mortgage fraud, as the secretion was the
governor of the Federal Reserve.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
Understandable, But as we said, you had a chance, and
they didn't do anything when they had a chance. They
knew all this stuff prior is what's going to be
brought up should she be convicted of mortgage fraud. Federal
legal maximums up to thirty years. I mean, you're doing
serious mortgage fraud, not what she alleged. Usually a couple
(40:24):
of years and a fine. So, but that has to
do with losses and all that kind of stuff, which
I don't think there's any of that here, So I don't.
Trump doesn't like what they're doing. He's doing everything he
can to control the FED, which is not what he's
supposed to be doing, like the FEDER. Don't like the FED.
This is what it is, and we'll see what happens
(40:44):
from here. But I expect a legal battle. Indeed, on
this one. We moved from there to Chicago. Today.
Speaker 15 (40:52):
I asked the President if he would send National Guard
troops into Red states too. The cities with the two
highest homicide rates, Saint Louis and New Orleans, though run
by Democrats, are both in states we Republican governors. So
we've talked a lot about democratic run cities and states.
Speaker 2 (41:07):
Would you also consider sending the National.
Speaker 15 (41:09):
Guard into Red states and red cities that are also
seeing high crimes?
Speaker 2 (41:14):
But there aren't that many of them, got no, I
mean there's a decent amount. I mean, we have Memphis
right out here where I'm at, Governor Lee, you can
ask Trump send him on in Memphis. Is a disaster Chicago.
Like I was talking about, so Jedediah Brown, he's a
resident in Chicago and he's pissed about what's going on
in and around the neighborhoods he's at.
Speaker 3 (41:35):
Not child can't walk around the community without feed of
being heard or kidnapped.
Speaker 2 (41:39):
Or having a drive by. So it's what these numbers
that they're expressing.
Speaker 9 (41:46):
We don't feel it in our quality of.
Speaker 2 (41:48):
Life, and that's a big deal. The quality of life
crime is a big deal. Well, they talk about violence,
and they talk about murders, which is understand. Quality of
life crimes is a big issue. So you may live
in a place where there's not a lot of violent crime,
(42:11):
but every single car is broken into. You have to
hide everything you know that you know, don't lock your
doors and leave your trunk open because it's not worth
coming out in the morning, or everything's being stolen in
front of your house. Those are quality of life crimes
that for the most part, don't even get reported at
(42:31):
this point in time because it's not even worth it.
So that's a frustration. The violence though that they're talking
about in certain areas, and it is about eight to
ten blocks in certain areas in Chicago that are not
good right. I'm gonna give it to you straight up.
(42:52):
It in good right. I joked yesterday about Cabrini Green,
and for those of you who don't know that, that
really became super famous, you know, in the seventies and eighties,
but there was a horror movie called Candyman, and Cabriti
Green came out of Candyman. There are several places though,
in Chicago that are nasty, dangerous, scary. Af do I
(43:15):
want there to be military on the ground. I don't
serge the FBI locally, sarge the ATF which you can do,
Surge the the DEA. If you need to do those things,
that's a that's a good thing, that's a very good thing.
(43:37):
I don't want militarization on our streets. He's got a
different playbook he can use in DC because it's federal
comparatively to what he would use elsewhere. And if he
does quote unquote federalize, all they can do is guard
(44:02):
federal places. And I continue to go back to this,
what happens if you decide, Okay, screw it, we're gonna
do whatever we want, and we're gonna let them make
arrest in this, Well, they don't have any training. I
don't think they want to be doing that. And then
what happens if they make some arrest and you come
to find out that they violated all kinds of rights,
(44:23):
and somebody who did do something potentially heinous, Well that
gets tossed out because there wasn't the response there should
have been, and legally it was easily challenged and tossed out.
We don't want that. And the other side of it
is what happens when somebody makes an absolutely horrific mistake.
(44:43):
It either gets themselves killed or somebody else killed. We
don't want any of that at all. So we'll find
out what happens. I mean, you know, a lot of
it is for show. Let's be real, A lot of
this stuff is for show. Trump loves a show. You
and I no, Trump loves a show. Speaking of that, yesterday,
(45:07):
Trump decides flag burning baby, No, No, you are not
going to burn a flag, not America. If you burn
a flag, you get one year in jail.
Speaker 6 (45:18):
No early exits, no nothing.
Speaker 2 (45:21):
You get one year in jail.
Speaker 6 (45:22):
If you burn a flag, you get And what it
does is insight.
Speaker 2 (45:26):
To write it. That's where he's going with this because
the Supreme Court is already spoken you can burn a flag.
And I got a lot of this yesterday, especially my
afternoon show. Would if I burned a Pride flag, You
can burn a Pride flag as long as it's yours.
By the way, you can't burn somebody else's flag, no
matter what it is, because it's not yours. If you
(45:47):
go into a place where you're not wanted and you
burn a flag and like a gay bar, and you
throw it at somebody, that is the salt you can
as long as you have the legal right to own
it and burn it. That's fine. That is a form
of protest. That is free speech. He's trying to figure
(46:09):
out how he gets around it by saying, well, if
you burn a flag and then something happened, that's when
we're coming after you.
Speaker 16 (46:15):
They're looking at the scope of the First Amendment as
it relates to that nineteen eighty nine ruling that protected
flag burning, and also trying to do prosecution of people
that violate flag burning laws that are on the books.
We go to see more details about this, but I
think you can also imagine this is something else that
will likely see litigation when this moves forward, and.
Speaker 2 (46:39):
It will move forward. This guy, he was pretty popular
amongst the rights and a lot of legal scholars. Maybe
one of the most popular scotuses ever, Anthony Scalia talking
about flag burning.
Speaker 17 (46:52):
If I were king, I would not allow people to
go about burning the American flag.
Speaker 2 (46:57):
However, we have a First.
Speaker 17 (46:59):
Amendment which says that the right of free speech shall
not be abridged, and it is addressed in particular to
speech critical of the government. I mean, that was the
main kind of speech that tyrants would seek to suppress.
Burning the flag is a form of expression. Speech doesn't
(47:23):
just mean written words or oral words. It could be semaphore.
Burning a flag is a symbol that expresses an idea.
I hate the government.
Speaker 2 (47:37):
The government is unjust.
Speaker 17 (47:38):
Whatever.
Speaker 2 (47:39):
There you go, so we'll see, we'll see what takes place.
We're going to talk a little bit more about flags
and what's going on in Britain. If you're not paying
any attention, it is mind boggling what's happened over there.
But speaking of a flag in Britain, there is a battle.
I think that it's a brewin in a major way
when it comes to the flag itself in England in particular,
(48:05):
So the Union jack is not the English flag. We'll
break that down for you and what might be happening,
because I have a feeling it's about to boil over,
if you know what I mean. But first Prize Picks
and American Football. That's right, guys, this is it. This

Chad Benzon show Chad Benson. The Epstein stuff not going away.
(49:52):
And I've gotten through a lot of the transcript, not
all of it, because it's a lot. Man, that's just
such crap. I love how people out there who who
so want to exonerate Trump. Oh, like see, there's nothing
to see here. Nobody is buying that. Nobody. Did you
(50:15):
read any of it? She comes across like, I am
too a victim. I don't know if you know this,
I too have a victim. Oh yes, Oh I didn't, No,
he did any of these things. Oh there was no
cameras in the house. Oh, I built a house with
my own two hats. She's so full of crap. Donald
(50:35):
Trump is the most amazing person. Oh, Pritza Hedrew never
did a thing. You guys, buy that, then I have
ocean front property in Arizona I'd like to sell you.
Speaker 18 (50:48):
It's Epstein's estate that has the largest repository of information
about the deceased sex offender. The subpoena seeks banking records,
personal calendar, and anything that might resemble a roster of
Epstein's clients, which Glenn Maxwell says doesn't exist. But some
in Congress are clearly not convinced.
Speaker 2 (51:10):
Yeah, like everybody who's got a brain. And there was
zero pushback, by the way, at all, no pushback. How
did he make his money? He was really good at math,
That's kind of what she said. For the most part.
He was so good at math. He was just great
(51:30):
at math. That's how I've made money. It is such
a joke, and nobody's buying it, especially the victims.
Speaker 18 (51:38):
The family of Virginia Guffray furious after DOJ released audio
and transcripts of Maxwell's nine hour sit down with Deputy
Attorney General Todd Blanche, who used to be President Trump's
personal lawyer. Shortly after the interview, in a highly unusual move,
the Justice Department transferred Maxwell to a minimum security prison
camp tonight. Virginia Guffray's family says that sends a disturbing
(51:59):
message that child sex trafficking is acceptable and will be rewarded.
Speaker 2 (52:03):
Well, she didn't do anything, so she said, I didn't
do anything. I didn't even know these girls. I never
met them all.
Speaker 18 (52:10):
In the interview, Maxwell, who was serving twenty years for
sex trafficking, proclaimed her innocence insisted she didn't witness any
inappropriate behavior by any of Epstein's powerful friends.
Speaker 2 (52:20):
Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson shows your ext your insta, let
me know what you think right here on the Chad
Benson Show.
Speaker 18 (52:30):
Maxwell was also asked about President Trump, who had a
decade long friendship with Epstein before they're falling out, but
she also contradicted Trump's claim former President Bill Clinton went
to Epstein's private island twenty times.
Speaker 2 (52:41):
No way, it's just such don't buy into it. Again.
I'm not saying that they themselves are involved in any
of this, but come on, I was born tonight but
not last night. I mean, you do realize she's, you know,
kind of angling for a pardon or commute of a sentence.
(53:03):
Just she did say she doesn't think he killed himself. No,
I don't think anybody buys it. He killed himself. Not
even she could spin that another way, although she went
on to talk about the fact that you know, just
because this happened doesn't mean it was set up. It's
(53:24):
probably another inmate and the reality is they'll kill you
for twenty five cents, So doesn't mean it was set
up that way. But still we know what she wants
and she's just angling to get it. How can she
get it? Well, you speak glowingly by the powers that
(53:46):
be that may have the power to get you out
of there. Okay, but nobody buys it. By the way,
three percent of the Department of Justice files have been released.
That's it. Think about that for a second. Three two, three, five,
(54:08):
three eight, twenty four to twenty three. At Chat Benson
shows your acts, your Insta, YouTube, Facebook and more. Happy
Happy Taco Tuesday. It's a Chat Benson.
Speaker 11 (54:17):
Shown Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (54:40):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (54:43):
There is a battle of Bruin in Britain. Oh look
at that. And as we talk about the flag and
should we or shouldn't we, the beauty of our nation
is we have free speech. I mean, this is We're
gonna talk a bit about the flag issue, but I
just want to point out they're arresting people in Britain
for Facebook posts that are very innocuous stuff that you
(55:08):
the things I get sent on a daily basis by
people would land them in jail. Thought crimes. People standing
out in front of a you know, a clinic, an
abortion clinic and not saying a word on public property
and they're taking them away because they were thinking about
(55:28):
praying for somebody. I mean, that's the kind of insanity
that's going on over there. And the so what you
have is the Labor Party and then the Tory Party.
Labor is the Liberals, Tories are the Conservatives. Right now,
there is a third party that is crushing it and
that's Nigel Farage's party that is a reform UK, which
(55:50):
if they held an election today would sweep. People are
pissed and they're angry. They want common sense and this
has to do with the amount of illegal immigration that
has happened in their country and the insanity of which
not only have they allowed this just the grooming gangs.
We've talked about this, but the fact that they're telling
(56:13):
their people, oh, you shouldn't put up the flag. And
this is how this has really kind of exploded over
the last several days. So Birmingham, which is Adiglid, the
waded Ala Pebba Birmingham, there were flags put up. Now
(56:38):
there is the Saint George's Cross, which is the English flag,
and then the Union jack, so that's the British flag.
So people in an area called Tower Hamlet put up
the Union flag and Saint George's Cross and what ended
(57:00):
up happening they took them down. Why because they could
be considered offensive or racist. They don't want to have
that up in certain areas and that was it. Now
there's operation raised the colors. Even Keir Starmer, who has
faced a lot of criticism he's on the left saying no,
I absolutely wholeheartedly endorse, you know, being patriotic and whatnot.
(57:24):
This is ugly and it is getting uglier, and you've
got people in the British public saying, whay could do
things like this?
Speaker 19 (57:31):
Well, I think this is the problem. It's not that
the fire right have co opted the flag. It's the
fact that we don't seem to understand what this country
is and the history of these symbols. So both of
these flags which you've displayed here. Those are the flags
who flew on ships which ensulave my awn sistors. Those
are the flags which the British Army marks into place
of that India, Pakistan, Bingal, Africa and colonized twenty five
percent of the world. The reason the firewright picks up
(57:52):
these flags, and has consistently since the sixties seventy, since
my parents' generation had been in this country, is because
these flags represent the racism which they are putting into
the world. And I would just point out in this
campaign of putting these flags up, this is not some
benign Oh, this is be patriotic. Go and search what
is it operation raise the colors and you will find
the same for a right little England. This nonsense viewing
(58:13):
about all the migrant hotels, it's all this, That's what
that's about. People don't putting on this flag to celebrate Britain.
They're pointing his flag to remind us that Britain is
white and we shouldn't be here.
Speaker 2 (58:22):
It's not what they were doing. It's not. In certain
areas of Britain, it is unrecognizable. I lived there, you
guys listened to the show I lived there pretty much
for a decade. I thought of it as my second home.
I would be in the streets marching with them holding
the British flag. When I was there, I lived as
(58:43):
an Englishman as I would expect I'm there. America is
always my home. I'm always America first, but England, Britain
was my second O. And I will tell you what,
I don't recognize it. My wife would love to go,
and I told I don't feel like this is a
(59:04):
place I recognize anymore. I talk to my buddies over
there and they're like, dude, it's just it's a nightmare,
especially in certain areas. Some areas are okay, and I
want to explain to people understand how much better we
have it compared to everywhere else. You do realize Mississippi.
And again, not a shot at you, Mississippi. I'm looking
over thumbs up. Love it right, great, fantastic. They're per
(59:30):
capita higher than Britain, higher than England, higher than a
vast majority of European countries. This is a country that
is on the brink right now. People are pissed and angry.
I'm watching these ladies tear down the flag. Imagine somebody
(59:52):
come to your house and tearing down the flag, your flag,
your flag. Imagine that why because of the symbol of
what the flag represents. Once again, you start doing this
insane immigration policy, telling everybody your nation should be embarrassed
of your past. And then you get the pushback, and
(01:00:14):
the pushback is coming from old young Yes, I said.
Speaker 20 (01:00:19):
All the like, whose country is it? This is England.
It's disgusting, absolutely disgusting. My husband and I started flying
the flag after we retired, and we went on a
couple of cruises. We went to America, Canada, beautiful countries.
They fly their flags with pride.
Speaker 2 (01:00:39):
I know, arm old.
Speaker 20 (01:00:40):
Fashioned, but the pride's been knocked out of the English.
Speaker 21 (01:00:44):
What do you mean by that that you feel as
though English nurses under track.
Speaker 20 (01:00:50):
Taken over by foreigners. And I was always taught you
only flew your own flag in the country.
Speaker 21 (01:00:56):
I think a lot of people would take issue with
you saying that foreigners have taken over they in your language.
Speaker 20 (01:01:02):
There in future and as the last couple of times
althopen Nigel Pharage, whether it'll be good or not, I
don't know, but I don't think there's any other hope
for this country to straighten up.
Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
That's somebody's nand there she's pissed, as she should be.
She's not happy about this. She's seen her country changing
before her eyes. And you know, when I talk about immigration,
if you're coming here because you want to be an
American and this is a place that you absolutely want
to be, not because you want to be from where
you're from and just do it here. No, you want
(01:01:36):
to come here and become an American. Hell yeah. In Britain,
what they've done is they've allowed people, and not just Britain,
by the way, throughout Europe, they've allowed people to come
into their countries, handed them all kinds of goodies, and
(01:01:57):
in doing so, told them you don't even have to
be English, you don't even have to try, you don't
have to assimilate, you don't have to do anything. And
that has pissed a lot of people off, telling people
all the time that they're racist, telling people all the time, oh,
you know what, you want to fly your flag, it's
because you're a nationalist and you hate people of color.
(01:02:17):
Enough of that crap. In fact, here's a perfect example.
So I pulled up a few headlines from articles around
the Globe compared to what you see in a lot
of the uber left leaning papers in Britain. So the
(01:02:40):
BBT the questions about the Saint George's and Union Jack
flags lining English streets, and it goes on to talk
about are these really people who are patriotic or is
it just that they hate people of color? Fox News
by the way, English flag displays powerful symbol and immigrant
fight as Trump style populism sweeps through the UK. That's
(01:03:03):
very true. The Independent, the prevaillance of England's flag is
a ghastly reminder of the National Front. The National Front
is their neo Nazish kind of group. I've had a
dealing with them. Just tell you that, right should I
(01:03:23):
tell it? So? When I was in England, I work
for Potocery to the UK and we had a guy
on at night, so I came on at midnight. I
think we went to midnight to like five or six.
It was a long show. So I came on after
guy named Caesar de Gezer was really popular. Caesar and
(01:03:46):
I did a joke because I was going to fill
in for him when he went on vacation. And when
he went on vacation, we did a joke where, you know,
and it was his idea that he got fired because
of me. Well, it was a funny joke. We did
all these things in between, and what ended up happening
was I get a call. So that happens on a
(01:04:08):
Friday's going vacation on a Monday. Now, mind you, this
is pretty much pre cell phones. People had cell phones,
but they weren't prevalent. Caesar goes to like Ibetha one
of these places, and when he does, we can't get
a hold of him. So I get a call on
(01:04:28):
a Sunday morning because I'm getting ready to fill in
for the next night, that there may be a serious
issue because the National Front believes that I got him fired.
And they hate me because I'm an American. They hate
(01:04:48):
me for all these things. They love Caesar. By the way,
Caesar was a He was a character, to say the least,
you know, kind of a interesting character that ran kind
of in the mob world. It was just it was
he was a crazy, amazing character that was a real dude.
And so it was I mean, it was crazy. I
had like am I you know, am I six? Like
guarding me for a couple of days Scotland Yards at
(01:05:10):
my house, it was nuts. That being said, the flag
itself is not a symbol of the National Front. Because
they co op something doesn't make it so. That place,
the Brits England, is about to pop off and people
(01:05:30):
are frustrated and angry, and some of it is a
little ridiculous, but a lot of it is warranted. And
when you tell people who are struggling because the economy
isn't going well that you are now a second or
third peg down, even though you're born and raised in
a place, and people are in your mind in some
(01:05:52):
cases true in some cases not being elevated above you,
and you're being told that your identity is evil in bad.
That is a recipe for bad things to happen. And
I have a feeling it's coming sooner than people realize,
God willing they get a handle on it. Three two, three, five, three, eight,
(01:06:15):
twenty four to twenty three at Ched Benson Show, is
your ex your insta, YouTube, Facebook? And more? Meanwhile, speaking
of that kill mar al Brego Garcia, will he won't?
Speaker 7 (01:06:26):
He?
Speaker 2 (01:06:26):
Is he leaving? Is he not leaving? You know he's
in custody. Are they sending him away? Are they not
sending him away? I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:06:32):
A judge ruled yesterday that for now the government is
forbidden from sending Abrego Garcia to Uganda while this matter
is litigated. So more time in court, more fights over
this man's freedom and whether he will be deported.
Speaker 2 (01:06:48):
So they gave him two choices. Choice number one, plead guilty,
do your time, and then they'll send you to Costa
Rica and apparently will allow you to stay and even
give you residency. That's choice one. Choice two is you
(01:07:09):
can be deported to Uganda. That's choice two. That's the
second choice. So those are his choices. His choices is
go to jail and faces ten years in prison up
to ten years and then be deported to Costa Rica
or wherever. And choice that he can choose for himself
(01:07:30):
is screw that. I'll just take deportation, but I'm going
to go to Uganda in East Africa, place I've never
been English speaking though, so let you guys know that.
So those are the choices facing Albrego Garcia. Oh kids three, two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at ched Benson, shoe is
(01:07:52):
your ex? Insta, YouTube, Facebook and more? How did I
get out of the whole thing with Caesar to Geezer.
People said, you got to finish the story, all right,
So this is how I got out of it. We
couldn't get a hold of him for a few days,
so it's crazy. Finally we managed to get ahold of
him and he had to do a call in on
his own show from his vacation to tell everybody it
(01:08:13):
was a joke. Everybody needs to relax. But it was creepy.
It was. It was crazy. It's like you'd walk outside, Oh,
you guys are here. Yeah, yeah, make sure you're all right. Okay.
Then it was a joke. It was a joke, that's
all it was. It was a prank. People didn't believe me.
They had to hear it from him. Even when the
station came on. They had to hear it from him
(01:08:35):
or they were not going to listen to anything we
had to say. So that's how that ended. Coming up,

(01:10:48):
our word. It could be our word. It could be letters,
it's abbreviation, or it could be a phrase. Today kerr
be like, I know what a curve is? The ball
goes like that. A curves? How are you driving the car?
Is a curve? No? No, no curve The act of
rejecting or ignoring someone's romantic advances. Oo the spider attempts
(01:11:14):
to flirt with him, He consistently curved. Her curve is
your urban word of the day. That was the urban
word of the day. Now, you know, always good to know.

Speaker 1 (01:13:03):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:13:32):
Trump been the fed battling it out. He doesn't like
the governor's and don't give him what he wants. Right,
we already know how he feels about FED share Jerome Powell.
Oh yeah, he didn't like them. No, no, he doesn't.
And now he's going after Lisa Cook.
Speaker 22 (01:13:50):
This tension between President Donald Trump and the Federal Reserve
has surged even more, and now this decision to fire
a Federal Reserve a board member will likely ignight an
extensive legal battle moving forward. And announcing this decision, President
Trump posted a letter to truth Social addressed to Cook,
which he wrote, quote, the American people must have the
(01:14:11):
full confidence and the honesty of the members and trusted
with setting policy and overseeing the Federal Reserve. In light
of your deceitful and potentially criminal conduct in a financial matter,
they cannot and I do not have such confidence in
your integrity.
Speaker 2 (01:14:28):
Wait a minute, did Trump get hit with one of
these kind of sort of well, take you back though,
And of course they just overturned the amounts, not the
case itself, but Trump's was civil, and they went after
Trump and New York on a civil violation because it
is way easier. The burden of proof is much easier
(01:14:50):
to overcome when it comes to civil case compared to
a criminal case. And they're saying this lady's is criminal,
not the civil kind, and therefore they should go after
her because of that. Now here's the thing. When you're
(01:15:12):
appointed to one of these FED chair positions, it is
a fourteen year run, pretty damn good. Gotta be honest
with you, it seems like pretty good gig. The only
way you could be removed is you can retire or
something like that, or they can fire you the president
(01:15:33):
for just cause. And they believe this is just cause
that she lied on mortgage applications in two different states
saying they were a primary residence to get better loan
agreements and better numbers. Now, I don't know if that's
(01:15:54):
true or not. This comes from somebody who works inside
of the administration.
Speaker 22 (01:16:00):
Stems from recent allegations from Bill Pulty, a Trump appoint
to who heads the Federal Housing Finance Agency. Last week,
he accused Cook, without providing public evidence, of claiming two
primary residences allegedly to get better mortgage rates. Cook has
denied any sort of wrongdoing, but said she would answer
appropriate questions, and the Federal Reserve has not released a
(01:16:22):
statement about this move by President Trump, but in comments
to News Nation, Cook said quote, I will not resign.
I will continue to carry out my duties to help
the American economy as I have been doing since twenty
twenty two. Her lawyer also saying they planned to fight
back against this firing.
Speaker 2 (01:16:39):
Now. One of the things that makes it tough for
first of all, the FED is supposed to be independent
of politics. That's the way it's supposed to run. This
is about them helping with the economy, doing economy souff.
It's just the easier way to describe this, and they're
supposed to in theory. That's why you get the fourteen
(01:16:59):
year term because you're going to go through different presidents,
different parties in power. You're not going to have the
issue of having to worry about being taken out because
you were appointed by the last guy or vice versa.
So that's supposedly one of the big things about the
FED is you had a fourteen year term. It's pretty secure. Secondly,
they can fire you with cause, but oh, there's always
(01:17:23):
a butt. The way it works is you would have
to have done something wrong while in office. Anything that
precedes that is kind of off the table. I mean
obviously murder or something like that. But you guys get
where I'm going with this. And because there was no
(01:17:44):
issues when it came to this and they did the
investigation and they finally said, okay, cool, you're appointed. Here
we go in the confirmation here. So the chances of
him being able to do this is it's going to
be a court battle, There's no doubt about that. But
is there calls for her in the position? Has she
(01:18:05):
done something in the position that she holds not prior
to but while she was in the position. So I
think for Trump wishful thinking, do I think it's gonna happen?
I think it's gonna be something you can find more
and more of. I think Trump is gonna come after
everybody he possibly can. He wants to kind of run
the FED and thinks it's being run improperly. So we'll
(01:18:27):
see what happens. Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty
four to twenty three at Chad Benson shows your ex,
your Insta, all of the other things. Speaking of Trump
and the economy, I don't know if you heard this.
I went off on it in the first hour, but
I think I think it deserves another spin. Six hundred
thousand I'm gonna say that again. Six hundred thousand visas
(01:18:49):
for Chinese students double what they get now to come
to the United States of America.
Speaker 6 (01:18:55):
What the president she would like me to come to China.
It's a very relationship. As you know, we're taking a
lot of money in from China because of the tariffs
and the different things, and it's a very important relationship.
We're going to get along good with China. Are used
so many stories about we're not going to allow their students,
So we're going to allow their students to come in.
Speaker 9 (01:19:17):
We're going to allow It's very important.
Speaker 6 (01:19:18):
Six hundred thousand students. It's very important. But we're going
to get along with China. But it's a different relationship
that we have now with China. It's a much better
relationship economically than it was before.
Speaker 2 (01:19:30):
With Biden. What he allowed that, I mean, they just
took him to the cleaner, and you, in my mind,
have done what six hundred thousand? That's double what was
on Biden's Well, I would say mine, but I don't
think that's something there. But that's double what Biden had
out there, six hundred thousand. You've gone for three hundred
(01:19:51):
thousand to six hundred thousand. Excuse me, and stop saying tariffs.
Who pays the tariffs? Anyone? Anyone? That's right? We do,
we do. The importer pays the tariffs. Some countries in
a few places will eat the tariffs, some not all,
(01:20:15):
and not every tariff. Well, how would they pay it?
If they were? The exporter would discount it at such
a massive loss to them potentially, and then the Chinese
government or some government may make it up a little
(01:20:35):
bit and then we would just pay the same. But
that's not happening. The reality is, no, the importers here
are paying the tariffs, So stop saying, we're making so
much money off the Chinese. No, you're making money off
the consumer and the importer, not the Chinese. Just Chad,
(01:20:58):
that's not very nice, all right, he said it, So
it's got to be true. Howard Lutnik was asked point blank,
how's this a good idea? Six hundred thousand Chinese students?
Speaker 8 (01:21:09):
Mister secretary, with all due respect, how is allowing six
hundred thousand students from the communist country of China putting
America first.
Speaker 7 (01:21:20):
Well, the President's point of view is that what would
happen if you didn't have those six hundred thousand students
is that you'd emptied them from the top. All the
students would go up to better schools, and the bottom
fifteen percent of universities and colleges would go out of
business in America. So his view is he's taking a
rational economic view, which is classic Donald Trump looking at
(01:21:44):
higher education saying, but why do we modify that?
Speaker 8 (01:21:48):
That's just how Harvard and UCLA and you cal Berkeley
and you' all help in those schools. Why they're like,
you know, eventually factories of anti American propaganda now are
getting a big influx of cash because of the Chinese students.
I mean, I know President Trump has always been very
pro Chinese student.
Speaker 2 (01:22:08):
I just don't understand it for the life of me.
Speaker 8 (01:22:11):
Those are six hundred thousand spots that American kids won't.
Speaker 2 (01:22:14):
Get absolutely, and the way it would work is obviously China.
First of all, for the most part, when they come here,
they're paying up front and they're paying cash. So a
lot of these big IVY leagues especially love that. Secondly,
what that does is it kicks the kids that make
(01:22:35):
it into the IVY League down to their you know whatever,
their fallback school or whatever it is, their safety school.
And then those kids that may have been in that
safety schools their first choice, well they go to their
say and so on. So it's like a domino effect.
And you're telling us that, well those fifteen percent at
the butt who cares? What? Who cares? Who cares? That
(01:22:59):
the bottom fifteen percent of schools wouldn't make it if
not for the Chinese and their money coming here. This
whole like I'm gonna stand it be tough on trade.
That's a bunch of horse crap, it is. I'm sorry.
You know what a lot that I like about Trump,
the immigration I may not have liked the way he's
(01:23:19):
trying to do the detraportation because I think he became
so antagonistic that it turned a lot of people off.
That being said, how he did the wall I think
was great, But there's a lot of stuff that I'm
just like, what is that? You know, the Intel stuff.
You guys are not paying attention. America got like ten
percent of Intel America. Trump's like, we're gonna have a
(01:23:41):
wealth fund, No, no Intel, Why are we why do
we have any thing? You know, when Bernie Sanders and
the likes of you know, Liyawatha Elizabeth Warren are jumping
up and down agreeing with Trump, like you want to
talk about socialism, that's the means of production, and everybody goes, well,
(01:24:05):
it's for you know, it's for the protection of America
because of uh, you know, military secrets and whatnot. They're
not even in the top like fifteen of the companies
we work with when it comes to military, and now
we own it, and they're going to be like, well,
(01:24:25):
you don't understand semiconductors and whatnot. They're gonna spin it
as military. We're owning a portion of it. That is
owning means of production, and they're like, we're not going
to take any active role, and what do you think
is gon to happen? They're going to push contracts and
all kinds of things to them. The more that you pay,
the more you get to play. That's what it signaled
(01:24:48):
to me. Three two, three, five, eight, twenty four to
twenty three. Etch. I've been to shoe as, your ex

(01:26:31):
it's time to find out what's trending. What's trending?
Speaker 23 (01:26:35):
Signed James Dean, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, ser.
Speaker 2 (01:26:55):
What trumping? So I know what's trending on this Tuesday.
I have a Tuesday, everybody, man, August is almost over.
Goodness me start today with eRx, Trump fires, fed Governor Guthna,
(01:27:17):
Lis Cook, fraud allegations and turmoil Israeli strikes killed journalists
in to ga'sa hospital. Don't worry though, they were getting
ready to fire off a bomb. I'm sure Trump executive
order poses jail penalty for burning the American flag, which
we already know is ridiculous. Trump more of him. Six
(01:27:39):
hundred thousand Chinese students. That is his pivot when it
comes to allowing in this trade war Chinese students to
come here. That is double what was out there. So
think about that for a second. Hesba Llah trending Scotus
(01:28:01):
because of the whole flag thing. Yeah, Tehran, six hundred
thousand Chinese, North Korea, North Korea? How many of those?
Rhino First Amendment? All things trending in the magical world,
el x over to Google. Lisa Cook, Love Island, he boob?
(01:28:26):
What's a haboob? Yesterday my oldest she and grandma. They're
out in Arizona. Still. We have a house out there,
and the haboob is a giant sandstorm that came through.
They were very excited about it. I was like, oh, man,
I missed that cash list. Pale University of Arkansas, another
fake shooting report. Some of the things trending in the
(01:28:49):
Magical world of Yeah. Who no, excuse me, Google, now
we're already yeah three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is your
ex your Instaube, Facebook, and more love hearing from all
of you right here The Chad Benson Show, Love Island,
(01:29:14):
Scotis Israel, Ukraine, all things trending right there in the
magical world. Up yuahoo. I was gonna do a YouTube
last night and it was just not gonna happen. I
was exhausted, so I had no sleep. I got up
(01:29:35):
Sunday morning kind of early and did not go to
sleep until yesterday. I just couldn't sleep. I maybe had
an hour total, and I thought, you know what, I'm
ass kick, this ain't happening. So so there you go.
Sorry about that. Oh my lord. Uh. A lot of
people chiming in about the flag and it was interesting.
(01:29:58):
So this came out during my local show yesterday that
this you know, this executive order and the reality is
it's speech. It is. And a lot an older generation
in particular, is like, you can't burn the flag, you
know this whatever they're saying, and I'm like, it is speech, yes,
(01:30:20):
but no, no, it's speech. Don't you get it. It's speech.
You don't have to like it, but that's the speech
that is protected. The one get down like not that
hard to get three, two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is your ex your
insta all the other things either way? Coming up our
(01:30:43):
buddy Mike Lyons Military animals going to join the program,
talk about what's going on in Ukraine? Are are we
kind of now no longer pretending that this is gonna,
you know, take place anytime soon this meeting. Talk to
him about that, among other things. Straight ahead Chad Benson.
Speaker 11 (01:30:57):
Show, such Chad to Joe.
Speaker 1 (01:31:20):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:31:23):
That time of the week we talked to I do
believe the best military analysts in the business, tired major
in the army and the man who gets us through
all the chaos and craziness when it comes to world affairs,
especially in the battlefield. Mike Lyons, all right, let's first
and foremost. I don't want to say Trump got played.
That's the way a lot of people want to come
(01:31:44):
at this, But the reality is Trump had no cards.
They're worth of damn playing. The Europeans had none of
that and when all of a sudden done, what we're
getting is the same thing you and I have talked
about and you've said forever. When Putin decides he's you know,
satiated his appetite, that's when this thing will be over.
Speaker 9 (01:32:03):
Yeah, Chah, I great to be back with you. For sure.
Speaker 12 (01:32:06):
There was never any really leverage on Putin to make
a deal there. There's you know, Trump likely gets out
over Skis a little bit thought this is going to
be more transactional.
Speaker 9 (01:32:15):
The European leaders had no choice.
Speaker 12 (01:32:17):
They had to try to jump on it because if
it was going to be it was you know, on
their upside to try to do that. And then this
report comes out this week about the Pentagon not allowing
Ukraine to attack deep deep targets with attackers. It's a
little bit concerning to me given what Trump has been saying.
I think Trump did flip a switch a little bit
(01:32:37):
about supporting Ukraine going on the offense, and now we
come to find out the Pentagon has been putting the
brakes on that. So a couple of breakdowns I think
are taking place in the Trump administration.
Speaker 9 (01:32:47):
I'm not sure people are really talking about just yet.
Speaker 2 (01:32:49):
So why would I mean they're in a war. I
mean it's not just about I mean, you know, we're
selling him stuff that can get there, and then we're
telling me, all right, but you can't use it. That
feel very much like what Biden was doing.
Speaker 12 (01:33:01):
Yes, and what Biden was doing or what he did,
I'll give him credit for opening up the supply chain
and creating that that operation. There a guy named Kris
Don who a general in our army behind the scenes
doing all that. But still it still was a slow
attrition with regard to their capability to use it. They
(01:33:23):
still held them back. Now the last year though they
gave them permission to attack into Russia military targets, not
even infrastructure though the Russia, you've got to go after
their infrastructure targets. You've got to go with their capability
to create economic value.
Speaker 9 (01:33:39):
And I think that's what they weren't able to do.
Speaker 12 (01:33:41):
And then when Trump comes on board, it reversed, it
went back and again I think a lot of it
has to do with this lack of you know, the
National Security Council not being in charge of anything or
not making sure that government agencies are doing the will
of the president. And you've got personality in the Pentagon
that the thought that this was more important to do
(01:34:02):
it this way. I think that's going to change now.
I think you'll see us allowing Ukraine to open up
their offensive weapons systems.
Speaker 2 (01:34:09):
Talking to my clions military analysts, we talking about's going
on globally when it comes to well, the conflicts that
are out there. The reality of this is, you know,
and we've touched on this forever in today. God knows
how many people. I mean, Russia has changed future wise forever,
not just the brain drain which people have left in
the millions, the youngsters, but you're killing off a young
(01:34:32):
population and that has got to at some point, I think,
sync into the average person's day to day life that hey,
there's not a lot of young kids around here, there's
not only men in particular, What are we going to
do future wise?
Speaker 12 (01:34:48):
Yeah, this is beyond now Afghanistan from what Russia did then,
it's a lot worse. And you know, Vladimir Putin, I
you know, he's at the end of his life so
to speak. Right, he's not going to live forever obviously,
but he still believes from a calculus perspective that he
could still win this war. And still take take down
the Zolensky government and end up controlling all of Ukraine.
(01:35:10):
It's it's that kind of thing about you know, just
one more battle, one more you know, one more push here,
and we'll get it this time.
Speaker 9 (01:35:15):
This is a tackle, do it.
Speaker 12 (01:35:17):
I think that's what's in the mentality of the Russian
military right now, But it's not proving out. Ukraine is
tremendously resilient. We're gonna, I believe this, the first batches
of these extended range attack munitions are on the way
there right now, so there's going to be more offensive capability.
Ukraine is going to open up, and it's going to
be really difficult for Russia to sustain what's going on,
(01:35:39):
what they're trying to do.
Speaker 2 (01:35:41):
Mike, what kind of like the training, because you know,
one of the things we've always talked about is the
stuff that we have at times is so advanced. And
while they have been able to grill a warfare and
do a lot of stuff with drones, but like for
some of this bigger stuff that's going to go deeper
into Russia potentially, is there is there a learning curve
or is this just point, aim and shoot?
Speaker 12 (01:35:59):
Yeah, great, point a lot of it is that A
lot of it is, you know, kind of fire and forget,
point and shoot. A lot of even the drone technology,
even at the at the user level, frankly, is designed
to be video game like. I know that I've seen
some of the things that we've were doing with with
the drone technology, but it is it's it's a lot
(01:36:20):
of intel that's also driven from the United States. That's
the other soft power the US provides to Ukraine is
that the targeting capability. What's happening though, is you've got
to be able to match the target capability with the
time on target to make sure that the target's still
legitimate when you decide to fire, when you decide to
(01:36:40):
engage it. And that's where the Pentagon was holding up Ukraine.
Ukraine would be calling back and say, hey, look, we
got a target here, we want to we want to
go after and by the time the Pentagon gave any
kind of approval, that.
Speaker 9 (01:36:50):
Target was gone.
Speaker 12 (01:36:50):
So but fundamentally, because of our technology, it is point
and shoot and it's a fire I call it fire
and forget because you're already on Once you fire, that's
that's a dead target.
Speaker 9 (01:37:00):
On the other side, and you're on to the next one.
Speaker 2 (01:37:02):
Talking to my clients military analysts, we talk about what's
going on with Ukraine and Russia. How is Europe looking
at all this? I mean, that's the other side of it,
and we talk about us. The fact is as well,
we're sending lots of weapons that their next door. That's
why they were all here last year, last week talking
about all this stuff. What is their sense of any
of this because I think they get left out of this,
(01:37:24):
but it is on their doorstep, It's not on our doorstep.
Speaker 12 (01:37:27):
Right, I think you know, they're they're starting to come
to grips with this economic pressure that they know that
they're going to have to put on.
Speaker 9 (01:37:35):
Here.
Speaker 12 (01:37:36):
It's being helped because Ukraine is attacking some of these
the domestic production of fuel capability that Russia has. Germany
in particular, who wants to try to change things, wants
to try to become a better ally, I guess is
the best way to put it. They're going to have
to figure out alternate means of coming up with energy
(01:37:57):
that's going to be permanent. Again, you know, you don't
core competency if you want to have a country, and
that's energy Here, Donald Trump say that all the time. Right,
you can't outsdoree steel. You can't outsource he's talking about
chips now. So the leadership of Germany did not do
the future Germans and any favors. Right now, Europe is
ready to send men, though they're ready to send people,
put them on the ground as part of a security agreement.
Speaker 9 (01:38:20):
Once Vladimir Putin got that, and.
Speaker 12 (01:38:22):
Now he recognizes that that's leverage over Europe because he's
now not going to approve that because he feels that
ups the whole battle between the Russia and NATO, which
is what Russia thinks is they're mortal enemy. So that's
going to just help him domestically and internal by if
that had ended up happening, that would that would allow
him to send more troops to the front.
Speaker 2 (01:38:42):
Talking to my clients military analysts, as we discuss the
chaos and craziness of Ukraine, chances that this thing gets
done before the end of the year, that there's any
real sit down, because you've said you don't think that
they'll even be in the same room together at Zelenski
and the Pooter. Do you think that this gets done
by the end of the year.
Speaker 12 (01:39:02):
I don't I think that you heard the President say
yesterday he expects Ilenski and Putin to get together beforehand
make a deal that he's now completely putting that, offloading
it and moving it to them because he's recognized that
it's just too difficult. A lot of it just has
to do with our NSC as well. I come back
to that and about how dysfunctional a little bit on
(01:39:22):
National Security community is right now.
Speaker 9 (01:39:24):
I'm a little disappointed. A lot of it has to
do with I'll go back.
Speaker 12 (01:39:28):
You know, almost three presidential administrations, we haven't had like
normalcy in this in a while. We have politicians that,
you know, we know what the Democrats say about Trump
when he travels, he's a Russian agent. I mean that
never used to be the case, and we would have
an NSC that was strong enough to stop, you know,
keep everybody in line within within the government here. I
(01:39:48):
don't think there's anybody in our government really working on
a backchannel. We talked about, you know what it takes
to create some kind of a deal. Well, people got
to be working and talking, and they've got to be
putting stuff on paper, and they have to be going
back and forth. And our NFC has been sidelined for
doing that, So it's not going to happen organically, and
if it's if we're not going to do it through
our diplomatic channels, it's definitely not going to happen organically.
Speaker 2 (01:40:10):
Talking to my client's military analysts as we talk about, well,
the chaos that's going on the globe real quick. I'll
get to Israel in a second, but we're sending some
troops over to Venezuela, if you will, in and around
the waters around there. And I hear it's about cartels,
but you know what, I'm not an idiots. I know
(01:40:31):
that Guyana has a lot of oil and we've got
things there and Venezuela wants to take over some of
that land and the oil. I feel it's more about
that than the cartels.
Speaker 9 (01:40:44):
Well, I think it is. I think it's a projection
of power.
Speaker 12 (01:40:47):
There would be no fight, obviously, no match between us
and that country down there, and I think that's what
that projection is going on. You know, anything in our hemisphere,
we're going to make sure we take care of their
significant oil resources that exist inside of Venezuela. I think
more than in Saudi Arabia, frankly, and you know, you
project two or three hundred years from now and you
(01:41:09):
and I are gone, But you know what the world
could look like based on the natural resources that exists there.
Speaker 9 (01:41:16):
Who can try to control that?
Speaker 12 (01:41:17):
The Chinese obviously one would like to have a say
in that, But the United States really needs to get
its act together and figure out what to do in
our own hemisphere. So I think that's what's what's what's
going on there. You don't put forty five hundred marines
and float them offshore or a country in a non training,
extra formal, non training exercise, unless you know you plan on,
you know, potentially using them as a show of force.
Speaker 9 (01:41:39):
I think that's what's going on.
Speaker 2 (01:41:40):
What is China and think of something like that. They're
seeing us right here with Israel, They're seeing what's going
on in you know, Ukraine. What is their their take?
Are they just like, yeah, you know what, let the
let the Americans be completely occupied by all this crap
and we'll just kind of take the other side with
a smirk and a laugh. What do they think about? Well?
Speaker 12 (01:42:00):
I think at some point the Chinese have got to
decide they're going to support their vassal state or not.
And I think that's what Donald Trump believes he could
peel Russia away from China. I think that that has
a pipe dream now at this point. But so they
they're not you know that they're not going to get involved,
and I think until until it maybe is more of
(01:42:21):
a crisis here. They they are just you know, culturally
and traditionally, they just are playing the long game here
and just hoping all the sides out there are just
going to tire themselves out and then they'll they'll they'll
kind of sneak in through the back door and be
able to exert influence that way.
Speaker 9 (01:42:39):
I mean, China, you know, possesses.
Speaker 12 (01:42:42):
Projects power throughout Africa and throughout all these other countries.
Right now, they're projecting an incredible amount of power in
the Pacific with the Navy that they've built up six
hundred plus ships. So you know, that's that's their game
right now, and at some point it'll be one of
more of in inertia that has taken over as opposed
to anything can Talking.
Speaker 2 (01:43:01):
To Michael Lines, military analyst, one more quick question I
saw last week read that a little rocketman is talking
about AI and nukes, which scares me because I'm not
quite sure how good their AI would be, is it.
I mean, you've already said it. Look, AI is this
is the It's not even the future, it's the now.
And that scares me that he's talking about AI with
nukes because, like I said, no offense, North Korea doesn't
(01:43:23):
seem to be on the cutting edge of stuff.
Speaker 12 (01:43:25):
Right And Chad, you know, we talked about if you
want to be a nuclear power, you have to be
you know, you have one thing to have a nuke.
Speaker 9 (01:43:31):
And it's another thing to deliver a nuke.
Speaker 12 (01:43:32):
And what AI could help them do is deliver the nuke.
They Obviously, South Korea is somewhat threatened by North Korea's capability,
and in fact, you had the South Korean leader talked
to Trump yesterday about it. He wants Trump to re
engage with with the North Koreans and and to try
to do something there. But but this technology could likely
(01:43:53):
help with with North Korean targeting. That's been their points.
They can get rockets in the air, but they just
don't even know where they're going to go.
Speaker 20 (01:44:03):
Uh.
Speaker 9 (01:44:03):
And again they have this capability to do that.
Speaker 12 (01:44:05):
So I think that's what that's what we have to
be concerned about missile defense is very is very iffy,
and which is why we have to continue to project
a lot of naval power in that part of the
world because if, if, and when the North Koreans decided
to do something US destroyers carriers groups, we need to
on provide the air defense platform to protect our assets there.
Speaker 2 (01:44:26):

Speaker 2 (01:46:46):
It's that portion of the program where we look at
the date twenty sixth of August, the year the law
twenty twenty five, and we think through ourself, south did
other things happen on this day? It's possible they did.
I wonder what they were? Shall we find out? Once
upon in time a long time ago? Now it's time
for this day in history. We look back on this
(01:47:07):
set to find out what the famous things took place?
All right, kids, on this day only history, and we
could go way back, but why do that? Right? We
kind of stay in and around modern ish times, right,
nineteen twenty nineteenth amendment was adopted. Ladies, you get a vote.
(01:47:27):
There you go. Congratulation. Nineteen fifty seven Russia tests and
intercontinental Ballistic Missile. They announced it had been successfully tested.
Lynda B. Johnson on this day in nineteen sixty four
accepted the Democratic nomination for president in nineteen sixty eight.
Four years later, in Chicago, well, the DNC got underway,
(01:47:48):
and let's just say it didn't go the way that
they thought it was going to go.
Speaker 13 (01:47:53):
There have been some demonstrations at this early hour in
downtown Chicago's and Grant Park. We heard a moment ago
that tear gas has been used as the demonstrators are
attempting to form a line of parade and march toward
or on the Amphitheater.
Speaker 2 (01:48:12):
That's right on this day. Because of Vietnam what was
going on. Protests were huge, and we know what happened
there on this day in history. Nineteen seventy eight, there
was a number one album Grease. The movie soundtrack earned
its second number one hit. Frankie Valley's Grease reached number one.
The nineteen eighty six The Preppy Murders stunned New York
(01:48:36):
and on this day in twenty sixteen, Colin Kaepernick sits
during the national anthem. Of course we know what happened
from there. So of the things that took place on
this day, August twenty sixth three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is
