Speaker 1 (00:01):
What's going on everybody, And welcome back to another episode
of the Challenge This podcast where we're here to break
down everything Challenge related. My name is Josh Green. You
can find us on all social media platforms at Challenge
fan Pod. We are here to break down episodes ten
and eleven. This week, Episode ten New Era and episode
eleven Payback Era. Austin and I were both busy these

(00:26):
last week week and a half, so we were not
able to recap episode ten, so we will go over
some of episode ten, get into episode eleven as well,
so we're all caught up for episode twelve next week
on Battle of the Eras. And of course I couldn't
do this all alone. My co host awesome people, said, Austin,

(00:49):
how you doing. We're doing good.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
We're ready to rock. It's been a great two episodes.
The drama is definitely heating up.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
You know, their individual game. Everybody's getting getting hype, feeling
that that final getting closer and closer. Being away from
their kids longer and longer has some of these people
on edge. So episode ten, I mean, you know, we're

(01:18):
getting the foundation and I think a lot of people,
even Devin when he was still in the game mentioned that, like, hey,
we're all going to be gunning for bananas at some point.
It's just a matter of when. I think even Johnny
knew that. But I think really between this episode and

(01:40):
episode eleven, I just think Johnny's getting bored and is
starring the drama for that reason. And I'm okay with that.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Yeah, yeah, well that's what he does. That's that's what
Johnny does. He stirs up the.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
He stirs the pot and he gets he gets people going,
and it makes for a great reality TV show.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
He knows how to make good reality TV. He was
only on The Traders for a couple episodes, and he
made good TV there. He was on How Civilains for
Us this season, made good TV there. And he's been
doing it for two decades on the Challenge and has
made an entire career out of it and has gone

(02:26):
on to do other hosting shows and spinoff shows of
his own. So he obviously knows what he's doing. But
it's been very interesting. You know, we're down in this episode,
we're down to nine men and nine women left in
the game, and this has really been one of the
few seasons that I can remember where Johnny is so

(02:49):
far on the bottom on his own, He's lost like
every big ally to him, aside from Laurel, but the
whole house hates l. So you know, he only he's
got been at his angels and that's it. So it's
been an interesting spot to see him in because we're

(03:11):
so used to him controlling the game and cake walking
to a final.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Yeah, but he also usually stirs up some kind of drama.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
I would say in the last third of his Challenge
career he has probably had a very tough time. He's
been thrown into eliminations a lot earlier than he's used to,
so I would say, at least from what we've seen recently,
it's nothing new. This is probably the longest he's gone
in some time, if I remember correctly.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Yeah, him and None to go in multiple times on
Brighter Dies, so that, yeah, that's fair. But I mean
before that, like when he won thirty five, he was
that No. Thirty five was one of the school seasons,
so he went in against Wes, but that was it
controlled basically like every single thing on that season and

(04:04):
then the other ones where he's went really far, it's
pretty much him dictating what goes on, so it's been
interesting seeing these other like power factions determining where the
game's gonna move. So in this episode ten, we have
this like giant apparatus thing that's firing all these balls

(04:25):
out into the course and the players have to collect
two balls at once, filled their cylinder and then solve
the puzzle. The first male and female. When the Daily challenge,
I just you know, there's not like a ton to
this daily, but I found a hysterical that Ryan drops
his and Laurels tube and then he's like trying to

(04:48):
get them out and it's like a gigantic ass tube. Like, dude,
there's no way you're getting those out, Like, you just
got to go back and go again. Josh runs Michelle
over basically like but this one looked like a grueling
challenge in that kind of weather.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
It was, Yeah, dude, the weather is the weather is
crazy out there. It seems like these last two episodes
it's just super hot. I'm sure they're gonna do a
water one soon.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
But yeah, yeah, people were like, yeah, you were putting
balls in wrong tubes and you know, just like him,
poor uh.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Oh my god, I can't remember his name. Ryan, Poor
Ryan with the puzzle. I mean, yeah, it's just the
heat is going to totally mess up people.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
One small mistake is going to put to set you back.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Bananas puts balls in, uh, the worst persons too.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Yeah for him.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
You already think that Jordan's going to win this challenge
based on everything, and then you give him two more
balls that he doesn't have to collect. And I love
Bea was talking to her ship on Ryan. He's so hysterical.
She goes, Ryan, it's pretty hard to solve a puzzle
of the number forty when you don't have the pieces

(06:09):
flipped to forty. I really did feel for Ryan there
because he was like the fourth or fifth guy to
get to that. I know, I know that was just tough,
and I'm just sitting there. I'm like, you couldn't even
because how many times have we seen people cheat on
these puzzles or like, look at someone else. If he

(06:30):
had just seen the white outline on these other people's boards,
he probably would have been like, oh maybe I should
flip this. I would have reacted so much worse. Survivors him,
you know, he at least takes it on the chin
and we we find out it's a guy's elimination by

(06:52):
TJ doing that flip of the coin earlier before the
Daily starts. So the girls are off the hook. But
that means that all the targets that Kylon named coming
into this episode meant didn't mean a thing because it's
just the guy's elimination. All the girls are safe. But

(07:14):
we find out that you don't want to be in
last place because you will get a penalty going into
the next Daily. Did you appreciate that there was at
least something on the line for the people that weren't.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
Yeah, yeah, you have to.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
I mean remember I remember when we would cover like
the older seasons and we'd be like, you know, the
girls aren't playing for anything.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
I mean obviously if you win, but if you're not
going to win, like.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
They're not, they're not playing for anything. They could easily
just give up. So I like that they're that they're
kind of putting some stakes here.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
I can still vividly remember there was one challenge in
particular on I was thirty six because it was out
in Iceland. TJ like lost his mind because he saw
how no one was trying. Because I remember that some
of these formats they just don't benefit anybody to win

(08:07):
because you yield power and then it's just like, okay, well,
as long as my ally is in power, then I
have no reason to not get last place. So I
will say with Battle of the Eras, that has been
one of the good things here is we're not seeing

(08:28):
this idea of, hey, we are going to let last
place just sit on by. And that's something we've talked
about a good bit on this podcast, and I know
it's something we both appreciate, because why on Earth, in
your fortieth season, in such an iconic, big season, are

(08:50):
you going to let people just you know, oh, all right,
if my ally wins, then I'm good. No, like I'm
glad place is either going into elimination automatically or there
is a penalty going into the next daily. I think
it's important. I think a lot of these players prefer

(09:13):
that because at least it it puts something into these
dailies because so many times we see so many people
who just don't care about the dailies and focus more
on their political game. And we love the political game here,
but it's gotten to the point where the scales have

(09:35):
been tipped. The scales be tipping, as they said on
Survivor this past week or two weeks ago rather. But
my point is like on the challenge, the scales tipped
too much and it got to a point where we
were just at the spot of, hey, we're not gonna
care about any sort of you know, punishment for for

(10:00):
getting last place, and it's not I don't think it's
conducive to the gameplay. I'll just say that for the girls,
so we know Ryan is the last obviously as it
was already spoken about, but we get Michelle, Olivia, and
Naya who are clearly the ones and last. I will

(10:21):
say this is kind of annoying me because like we've
heard all throughout, like different podcasts and interviews from these
ladies during the season that like they were tight and
an alliance the whole way through, and it's really annoying
me that they just decide to like throw them in

(10:43):
to the editing fold in episode ten, like what are
we doing? You're we really couldn't have had any of this,
like in the beginning of the season, you know, take
out like a minute or two of the Evan Banana's
beef that we've had building up, Like I really I

(11:05):
think this would have been fun, especially since some combination
of these girls are going to be going further in
the game. So I was definitely frustrated about that. Of course,
you know, unfortunately Michelle's having some heat stroke after this challenge,
is really going through it, and you know it is
having a tough time. When she gets last place, she's saying,

(11:29):
you know, I'm never gonna win against these girls, and
we've all been saying it the entire season. This is
an unbelievable girl group. You've got nine girls left in
the game, seven of them. Seven of them are champs.
The two who aren't are Michelle Fitzgerald and Olivia. That

(11:56):
is that is crazy to me that we've got seven
champs on the girl's side and Michelle and Olivia are
your two non champs. It like we've said all season,
the girls are incredibly strong or and n is not
a champ as well. But yeah, I was gonna have mentioned.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
Yeah, it's strong.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
It's a strong season, and it's it's very fun to watch,
and you have, like some of I mean, you have
some very strong girls, and in the case of Olivia
and Michelle, like they kind of alienated Jenny to now
this extremely strong girl is now working with Rachel, you
have to the strongest girls. They're working together, and like,
while the numbers may be on your side, the performance

(12:43):
and the string definitely is. And I think we'll talk
more about that and then when we start covering the
next episode, because we see that happened.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
More in the Challenge.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
But yeah, we kind of see that coming to Fruition
the last couple episodes.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
We do, we do, and you know, now for for
the guy's elimination, we are seeing it's going to be
Ryan going in as he gets last in the daily
and he's going against either Derek or Bananas as Tory
named them the targets. And really, I it was interesting

(13:19):
here from Johnny, Like, I don't I agree with Johnny that,
like for his game or excuse me for Tory's game.
I don't think Tory made the right move in naming Derek,
Ryan and Bananas the targets. But I think Johnny was,

(13:39):
like Ryan says later at the night out, he is
all bark. He's just saying a bunch of crazy things
to try and turn this around. From the players interviews
off the show, and from everything we've seen on the show,
it really looks like Johnny told everyone that you know,

(14:04):
Devin's just using Michelle for the game and he doesn't
really care about her. So I don't know what Johnny
expected here. I really don't.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
Yeah, probably not the greatest move from him, but I
mean he knows what he's doing.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
So he knows what he's doing. And look, he I
will give Johnny this like he's always been this way
on these seasons, Like he may have like friends, but
everybody knows who his allies are. You know, most of
the season, well every season, Lee Roy's is number one.

(14:42):
And then now like with Lee Roy and Tony out
of the game, he's got uh, you know, Banana's Angels,
which is Jenny, Evieve, Laurel, and Rachel. And it does
work for Johnny because the real he is. These are
four women that are very strong and as long as

(15:06):
Tory doesn't as long as Toys not winning dailies, like,
Johnny's going to be safe. It doesn't matter what the
guys do. And that's another benefit of this season. It
matters so much more your relationships with the opposite sex.

(15:29):
So we're seeing how we see Tory, Jordan and Johnny
talking right before the elimination, and Johnny gets sold that
he's going in, and Johnny's like, oh, Jordan, there's going
to be repercussions. It's not just Tory's decision. But yet

(15:50):
again what I just said, Jordan can't do anything about
it because girls voting guys and guys voting girls. There's
no there's no guys.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
Could mean he could have one of his angels though,
put a target on on Jordan, but it seems like
it's a big enough target anyways.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Oh yeah, it's not like Jenny's forgot about War of
the World's too when Jordan won that season, And it's
not like the other girls forget how big of a
target Jordan is. Like they know, but they also know
and we've heard it mentioned in this episode end in
episode eleven that the girls are gonna want strong guys

(16:34):
because most likely, like we've seen in the All Star
Finals and in the Flagship, they're going to be partnering
up and adding times together.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
Like yeah, and the guys are not gonna want to
get rid of the strong girls.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
Exactly, and vice versa. So you really want to eliminate Jordan,
someone who knows these triathlons for fun, like I obviously
if he's not, you know, high up on your list.
Like we get into in the next episode, like there's
a reason to be getting on Jordan if you're a girl,

(17:11):
that is, because if you get to the final you're
gonna want to be partnered with it. We get to
the elimination is Ryan and Bananas, and look, I'm happy
TJ enjoyed this. I thought this was so stupid to
be a Challenge elimination. The ride on quads and like

(17:34):
four wheelers. I thought this was so stupid and like
grabbed the flag off the person's back. I have no
idea why this was an elimination.

Speaker 5 (17:46):
Yeah, it's just another stupid elimination. We've had stupid elimination
after stupid elimination after the first episode. No, no, no
classics are being brought back. You know, I'm starting to
think the first episode, while the Purge was fun, maybe
you shouldn't have done so many classic Challenge eliminations because
now you lost all of them for the rest of
the year.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
That part's frustrated. Yeah, and this was so dumb.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
I was like, you know, because you know, Ryan has
had a great season, but you don't you really want
to see Bananas and.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
See how far he could go.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
Based off his you know, abilities, and like if that
something that Banana lost in that, that just that'd be tough.
I don't know, that would just kind of be like,
all right, I mean, this is one of those stupid
eliminations you kid doing about.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
I very much agree, and I think for both guys,
it's a really rough way to leave a season. You know, Yeah,
you're talking about the biggest season in the history of
the show, and you're gonna leave on a most challenge
really not even a puzzle, not a endurance or stability

(18:52):
or a physical nothing. We're we're talking about like, Okay,
if you went go karting a little bit more than
your opponent, you might win this one. It wasn't even
like it would have been one thing. If it was
like a partner challenge and it was like a one
person was blindfolded the other person had to communicate it,

(19:14):
then it would involve communication. And I could get that,
but I really did not like this one here. And
and like you said, in a season of a lot
of bad eliminations, this one, this one was not fun.
But you know, Ryan, Ryan does he hangs touff for

(19:35):
a little bit. For some reason, Tory shocked that Bananas
wins this. I know, I don't know why she was
so surprised, Like she acted like Ryan was like Rick
Umby and like was gonna dominate this. Now I'm sure
a lot of people were rooting for Ryan to win,

(19:56):
but uh, you know, Bananas wins this, and like we
like we previewed a little bit, he apologizes and says
that he's picking Naya. He does apologize for picking her,
but then he says, I'm going to pick Devin's pet
sneak Olivia and his soon to be ex girl friend Michelle,

(20:18):
And uh, I I know he like, I'm sure he
wanted the sound bite and all that, but uh, this
is a tough one from Bananas. You know, some tough
words to say there. Yeah, some tough words.

Speaker 3 (20:39):
So yeah, he was, Yeah, he really came after that.
He was definitely aggressive. I don't think he had to
do that. But that's that's Bananas. I mean, that's when
he when Bananas is fueled on power, that is.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
What he does.

Speaker 6 (20:54):
Bananas scorned as he says, So now we're you know,
this is clearly setting us up for a girl's elimination
in this next episode.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
What I will say that we haven't seen so far,
and I'm curious if you have an opinion on this
or because I know I've thought about it, I have
no idea what's going to happen. Let's say it's not
a target that gets last place. We have not heard
from TJ. What happens if you know? Let's say so

(21:31):
the targets for episode eleven Payback Era are Olivia and
Nya and Michelle, the ladies of Leisure. What happens if
Jenny West gets last place? Does Jenny automatically go in
or is it last place of the targets? No?

Speaker 3 (21:48):
I think it's the last place in general. It just
happened to be the targets the last two weeks.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
So then then the person of the opposite sex who
wins gets to pick that person's opponent.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
I see, okay, yeah, well, I think the interesting thing
is we get down to it is when there is
a girl like so, say it's a girl's day and
one girl doesn't want to.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Send a girl in.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
The guy has all the power, so he can be
like you can, you can do whatever you want, like
I'm sending this person in.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
Yeah, yeah, that's the thing. Like Jordan got off on
that Scott Free in the first individual elimination. Because it
was ultimately Toy, he could say like, hey, it was
Tory's decision. You know what do you what do you
want me to do? Yeah, I think it is definitely interesting.

(22:36):
Like you said, so we get we get Johnny coming in.
He says he's ready for war. I thought kiland had
a great confessional to start this episode, the fact that
Johnny has played so many seasons and he didn't think

(22:58):
once about like, hey, maybe since Story won the Daily,
she was going to be safe from being picked as
a target. I thought that was a really good point,
Like that's not that far of an assumption to think
the person who won safety would not be able to

(23:20):
be ticked to be picked as a target.

Speaker 3 (23:23):
Yeah, I know, that was like totally bananas. I don't know,
it was totally on bananas, Like I don't know what
he was thinking there.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
It was totally bananas and on bananas, right, Yeah, thank you,
I'm here all day.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
No, I completely agree with how Kyland looked at this,
like Johnny has made the challenge his career, his life,
and to not even think about like, oh, maybe Toy's
going to be safe because she won the last challenge,
Like the challenge has changed a lot, but if you
win dailies, it will always benefit you. So I don't

(24:01):
understand why they were all so shocked that Tory was safe.
Like I was like, Okay, we've seen this before, you know,
I'm not surprised. Yep. So you know, Olivia and Michelle

(24:21):
are very upset about the name sep and And has
called them. I will say, I think I think a
part of this is Johnny looks at the format for
this season and he looks at the girls he's aligned with,
and he probably incorrectly, to be very clear, incorrectly thinks

(24:46):
I can say whatever I want to Olivia and Michelle
because they're not going to be winning dailies. They're not
going to be having the power in their hands, so
who cares. But that's the thing, like sometimes you got

(25:08):
to think about how you're you're trading people in these games.
It matters.

Speaker 3 (25:14):
So yeah, he knows what I think. Like because Jordan,
you know, it's funny. I was talking to my wife
Corey about this, and you know, we with Jordan and
Johnny are always against each other. But Jordan, like in
a just a pure unbiased gameplay fan of Jordan. He

(25:35):
totally love I think he totally respects and like almost
as efatuated by Bananas to the point where he like
he says that even in the conventional that you know,
he learns from Bananas and he takes what Bananas does,
and like he takes Banana's gameplay and he learns from
it and tries to replicate it. And he says it
during you know, in the night out when Bananas goes

(25:56):
on his rampage, like he says, like Bananas knows what
he's doing, and he's like, he was, like that is
be quiet, Like you write the playbook, I'm just trying
to follow it.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
Like I thought that was pretty funny.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
I love you too, And I'm so glad that you
guys were talking about Jordan and Johnny.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, we always talk about stuff we're
watching that.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
Because here's the thing, right, I think Jordan realizes, Hey,
if I make a final and CTS not there, none
of these people are beating me. Now, look like we
can hypothesize and if there's a lot of puzzles and math,

(26:41):
you know, maybe Kyland has a shot. You know, if
there's a bunch of uh, you know, just weird like
carnival game type things. Maybe Bananas can beat Jordan, but
the reality is is if these finals are like the
last couple of seasons, Ordan's winning this for the guys. Yeah,

(27:02):
he gets there. So I think a part of it
is that Jordan Wisley wants to bring Bananas to the end.
He knows Johnny's older than him. Jordan runs triathlons, like
I mentioned earlier in this podcast for fun. He's fine
going up against anybody in a final, and he knows

(27:25):
he can outrun, out swim, I'll bite any of these people.
So I think that's part of it too. He lets
Johnny be the bigger target in front of him, and
his attitude and his mindset on these seasons is as
long as I get to the end, give me that money, yep.

(27:46):
And I think it's a good a good strategy. So
we're on this daily called building Bridges. As it was
mentioned earlier, Michelle's got a thirty second penalty for coming
in less on the last challenge. We're seeing them climb
up these rope rungs and then cross a bridge, solve

(28:12):
a puzzle, and then hit the button to then swing
down and break through these blocks, and I gotta say,
we spent way too much time on the daily here.
So much time was spent on each person in the
know when.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
They well, here's the issue.

Speaker 3 (28:32):
When they get to individual and it's like one person
go at a time, it is very I actually think
when they got to the end of the challenge portion,
they did a decent job where they kind of penalized
everybody and they started showing everybody going, oh that was good.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
But they spent too much time in.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
The in the in the in the beginning. Individually, I
think we got I think we got two commercial breaks
separating the challenge too, so we had I think we
must have spent fifteen to twenty minutes on this challenge itself.
And if it's not a mini final, you were spending

(29:12):
too much time on the challenge. Yeah, sorry, And we
were spending a lot of time. Naya is really not
doing well at all, Johnny makes I'm sure Aviv has
heard plenty of short jokes. But say what you will
about our former guests a Viv mel Bruno, but this

(29:36):
woman was an absolute beast and a challenge that definitely
benefited being taller her first season in eighteen years and
goes through this really well, Johnny says. You know, Aviv's
three foot tall and she got across and up and
you know, of course she's known for her puzzle abilities

(29:58):
back in the day with Darrell, so this puzzle is
not an issue for her at all. We see not
a lot of people are shocked, but Kyland wins the
daily here. I just have to say overall, I know
people aren't surprised, but if you think about this, right,

(30:18):
if you look at the guy crop, I am so
surprised that so many people are so threatened by Kyland,
Like we have so many strong guys. But a huge
kudos to him because he's really put on this season.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
Yeah, I think he has established himself as one of
the stronger guys just because I would say mainly just
because of his elimination performance, because he is so hard
to get out and then you couple that in with
his ability to do puzzles and then also have endurance
and strength. You know, when somebody comes in and they
have that kind of like triple threat aspect, if they're

(30:55):
able to prove it in these challenges and eliminations, they're
they're you know, very much viewed as a threat.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
So yeah, he's.

Speaker 3 (31:03):
Especially if he keeps doing challenges, he's gonna be like
one of the biggest threats, and I wouldn't be He's
gonna win soon.

Speaker 2 (31:11):
It's just a matter of when.

Speaker 1 (31:13):
I think he's somebody that the show would like to
have on these seasons going forward. You know, I could
see him being somebody who gets to do these other
shows and have other opportunities as well. So he's always
getting in drama, he's getting in romance. Like I think,

(31:37):
he is someone who is who I really enjoy seeing
on the show, and I'm happy for him. But I
was very surprised here we get THEO and Naya as
last place on this challenge where Height was so yeah, THEO.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
Saying he's gonna kill it.

Speaker 4 (31:55):
THEO is I forgot who said it, But THEO is
putting together an all time just horrible performance.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
If I was the guy, I want this guy in
the final hundred.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
I mean he's supposed to.

Speaker 3 (32:09):
I don't know what happened between now and well, I mean,
you know the champagne bottle, but outside of that, I
don't know what happened between War of the Worlds and now,
because I mean he put up that incredible rookie performance,
and now I mean he's been horrible. I mean he
had the elimination win against was it Paulie?

Speaker 1 (32:30):
I think, oh yeah, we ran him over in the
hall bro.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
Yeah, but like I mean that's just a size thing, right,
I don't see that as much skill.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
Outside of that, he's been pretty bad.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
I mean again, okay, I'm gonna say one more thing.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
He's supposed to be in an endurance person, right, He's
supposed to be a runner, and he is.

Speaker 2 (32:52):
He was gassed on that yeah, yeah, I mean just crazy.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
Yeah, we see him in the preview next week. Austin
Jordan are helping THEO in the mini final because it
looks like he's guest again in the middle of the
mini final. It's it's very surprising to me because uh
war the World's one and two war, the World's won.

(33:19):
He was right there with Turbo in that final.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
Yeah, and that was br bring Turribo back.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
That was one of well he was back on the
thirty eight.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
Oh yeah, that's right. Yeah yeah, and then he got
in fights with everybody.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
Yeah. But THEO was doing really well in that final too.
He got second point and then like you said, he
was a finalist on World the World's two. I do
have to give a shout out to h our former
guests from a few years back, Scott Jaeger of Challenge Mania.
They him and Derek had on Olivia and uh uh

(33:56):
Olivia and uh Theo and their caps of the podcast
made me crack up. I gotta find it because I
think you're gonna like it a lot. Just give me
one second here while I ramble while I find this post.
It was so funny. Oh, here we go, Episode four

(34:17):
four six Hall Brawls, love Balls and eyeballs because Olivia
got hit in the eye with that. Remember the final
with Rassio.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
Oh my god, how could I forget that?

Speaker 1 (34:30):
This flingk shot right shot?

Speaker 2 (34:31):
Yeah, yeah, Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
So saying eyeballs and with THEO getting hit in the
eye with the champagne bottle, I was like, oh man,
this is brutal, but it's yeah. So look, but I
bring that up because I think that's part of it.
To us and THEO having his eye distracted by Olivia. Yeah,

(34:55):
I don't know if he's training as much as he
was on the Word of the World seasons, like he
was much more locked in on those seasons. This one,
I'm sure he's having fun with Olivia.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
And yeah, definitely agree.

Speaker 4 (35:11):
I mean, also, I think it has to be pretty
hard to do that with one eye, so I give
him the benefit of doubt there, but yeah, Olivia thing like,
it still doesn't take away from the point that he
looks like he regressed in his abilities, at least his
like physical abilities, which is I mean, you know, you
get I mean it's not fine, but you get the

(35:32):
stardom or whatever, and you're on the TV shows, sure,
and then you maybe don't train as hard.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
So I think that's kind of what we're seeing.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
I am just shocked at how poorly he's been this season,
and I didn't really realize until I forgot who it was.
Somebody called it out in the confessional and I was like, damn,
that's that's pretty correct. We haven't seen a ton of deal,
but he's been really bad. When we've seen him individually.

Speaker 1 (35:53):
It's been we see him too bad, and it's not
just like one daily like this wasn't the one. He's
done multiple bad performances and I'm sure he doesn't feel
good about it, right, Like I even know, like there
were challengers and Challenge fans calling him out on social media,

(36:15):
and he was even saying like, I'm not proud of
my performance. I'm forty Like in the dailies in particular,
I really did not do well. So, you know, we'll
see how it goes for THEO moving forward, you know,
on this season and you know, in his Challenge career

(36:35):
going forward. But for the girls, we get Naya in
last place, So the Ladies of Leisure are guaranteed to
be facing off against each other, and it's going to
be either Michelle or Olivia going in against Naya. I
found this really interesting and I mentioned this earlier. This

(36:56):
is episode eleven. You know, we had a brief mention
of Ladies Leisure in the last episode. I know Tina
Bardi even mentioned it on our interview with her. The
Ladies of Leisure has been a thing all season. Ryan
talked about it. I don't know why they're just We're
two and a half months in this season. Why are

(37:16):
we just hearing about this alliance? Yeah, I know, I
feel like there could have been so many more opportunities
to talk about these ladies.

Speaker 3 (37:26):
I mean, was it I mean it seemed like they
were super close to Naya and I was like, where
was this the whole DEAs, I don't remember this.

Speaker 2 (37:32):
I was like, maybe I missed something.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
So there's that. Then with what's next on my notes
here we have the confessionals of Jenny saying she gets
the last laugh because Jenny's on in last in this challenge,
she gets first place by point zero six seconds. They
said it was the closest time differential and challenge history.

(37:57):
So she's going to be choosing which Era four girl
goes in when they never had her back, And I
feel like we had all of those times like what
was it two or three times that Jenny went into
elimination where the Air four girls repeatedly center in. How
are you not putting a two or three minute segment

(38:19):
about the ladies of leisure in there? Wow? I feel
like it would have been able to build up throughout
the year.

Speaker 2 (38:27):
It would make sense why they keep putting Jenny in now.

Speaker 1 (38:29):
Yeah, exactly. The other girls are talking about it from
you know, Era one, Era two, even the guy like
they said that Ryan and Derek were honorary members that
they would sit out at the pool with them.

Speaker 3 (38:43):
Yeah, I know Derek and Ryan were talking about like
I've got Olivia and Naya Michelle, and I was like,
where was that relationship exactly?

Speaker 2 (38:50):
Haven't seen it.

Speaker 1 (38:51):
And they both have been on podcasts and interviews talking
about how they were some of their closest allies. Ryan
and Derek both made it ten episodes of the season.
Are we just not going to give them anything?

Speaker 3 (39:04):
Like, yeah, yeah, no, you're right.

Speaker 2 (39:06):
I'm totally shocked by that because.

Speaker 7 (39:08):
I mean I was literally thinking, like, as Derek's talking
about how close he is to these girls, I'm like,
I thought you were close to the Era one and
two girls, Like I don't know where that came out of.

Speaker 1 (39:20):
And we know they're close with Avery, like we got
that in episode three, so talking about that, but we
two yeah, three, she was three.

Speaker 2 (39:32):
Three, that's right, That's right.

Speaker 1 (39:33):
These girls and Derek and Ryan, they're all a part
of the season. We're seeing Derek and Ryan in confessional
of course before Ryan got eliminated, but throughout the season,
Derek's been in confessionals. Michelle has been like one of
the main storylines of the entire season. So to completely
like not include this alliance was shocking to me. I

(39:56):
was really surprised by this, very very much surprised.

Speaker 3 (39:59):
Yeah, it's a blip. It's a production blip for sure.
I don't know what they were thinking. It seems I
have no idea.

Speaker 1 (40:06):
And look, we get editing. We talk about it on
these shows. We understand there's commercials, we understand there's other
things you have to air, but we're not talking about
putting in fifteen minutes of the Ladies of Leisure, although
I'm sure there's fans that would love that, including me.
Just put in a two or three minute segment every
other episode there's something like that. So we're reminded about

(40:29):
this alliance because it's clear that it becomes important later on.
It's clear. So, yeah, they go on their night out.
Michelle tells Kyland right away. She's like, hey, I'm not
going to take it personally if you throw me in.
Kyland and Olivia have known each other from before, from
their reality TV experiences, so I think it was pretty

(40:52):
clear that it was going to be Michelle going in.
On top of that, Michelle through Kyland in several times
on Rider Dies with Jay if everyone remembers that, and
I'm sure that was so in Kyland's mind, but they
have you know, their relationship has gotten better over the season.

(41:14):
But I think Michelle knew, like, hey, I'm not going
to campaign against my number one ally in Olivia, and
I'm not about to put one of my closest allies
in a worse spot in Kyland. So Kyland, if you
got to put me in, I understand, it's okay. And
I thought this was a very mature way that Michelle

(41:36):
handled us.

Speaker 3 (41:37):
Michelle has some really good moments, and then he had
some moments.

Speaker 2 (41:40):
That were all like what are you doing?

Speaker 3 (41:43):
I think I think if you're loyal to Michelle, they're
all very loyal. The I think that side of the
house takes things far too personally.

Speaker 1 (41:54):
Olivia.

Speaker 2 (41:56):
Olivia, Oh my gosh.

Speaker 3 (41:59):
Oh yeah, well, okay, okay, I want to talk about
something there real quick.

Speaker 1 (42:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (42:05):
She mentioned it in her confessional and then he didn't
elaborate on it, but she was like, I think she
said something where Banana's nosed. Last season, I was called
a snake and I was called a bad friend, and
I'm sitting there.

Speaker 2 (42:16):
Like you were, like what are you talking about? You
don't think you were? You were, That's what happens when
you do that.

Speaker 3 (42:21):
You were, and like I was like, dude, that has
nothing to do with this year like you.

Speaker 2 (42:28):
Were your last year. I was like, that's exactly who
you were last year. You screwed her over?

Speaker 1 (42:35):
How many times on battlevern New Champion did we sit
here and listen to nourice and confessionals say I really
don't trust Olivia and then keep her safe every time?
And then there's that moment everyone remembers. You know, even
the old schoolers know the history of these two. You

(42:57):
were a snake. And it's not that we don't like you.
You can be No, it's nothing. It's not bad to
own it. Just own it, just on it.

Speaker 2 (43:04):
You totally screwed over. You totally screwed her over.

Speaker 1 (43:08):
Yeah, and look, I think she's owned it since this season.
We we know from a lot even the interviews we've
done thirty nine and All Stars for there was not
a ton of turnaround. The people on thirty nine they
had about two months, I want to say, and then
the people about a fifth of this cast, so eight

(43:30):
or nine people who did All Stars four they had
a month most before they went around and film challenge
for it. Yeah. So yeah, it's a sport.

Speaker 2 (43:41):
I mean, right, you know, we don't think of it
at that way. It's entertainment for us. But sport, you know,
it's very much a season. It's it's it's very cool.
I mean it is. That's why. That's what makes it
even though maybe the.

Speaker 3 (43:55):
Cast or the challenges or eliminations aren't aren't like the
best sometimes like the sport aspect is what makes this
show so unique.

Speaker 2 (44:04):
You see the same people open over again.

Speaker 3 (44:06):
Like, let's talk about someone we haven't seen the last
couple episodes, Corey is this could be Corey's season and
we're not seeing him at all inconfessional and I think
he's playing a great game. Corey is just staying out
of it and this is no long Corey's in the middle.

Speaker 2 (44:20):
Jordan even was trying to stay in the middle of
Jordan's not in the middle anymore.

Speaker 3 (44:23):
So like Corey is doing a thing. I'm definitely this
season for sure, I'm rooting for Corey. That guy needs
to win, please him or Nelly please get a win.

Speaker 1 (44:33):
Well, Nelly, he's not on this season.

Speaker 3 (44:35):
No, I'm I'm saying in general, like one of those
two soon need to get a win. Like I think
everybody in the Challenge were all just rooting for one
of those guys because they very much deserve it.

Speaker 2 (44:45):
It's just not you know, they've been unlucky. But I
think Corey is playing a good game, and I'm sure
Corey has to get passed.

Speaker 3 (44:54):
I would guess Corey needs to get past one more
elimination and if he gets past one more elimination, because
I think that's the only time he'll be in. I
think if he gets past one more elimination, I think
he'll make the final and then he'll have a chance
to do it.

Speaker 2 (45:05):
So that is who I'm rooting for for sure this year.

Speaker 3 (45:09):
But I was thinking last as I was watching the
episode last week, I was like, I was like, I
can't believe this guy is. They showed him briefly in
the dinner portion, in the in the going out portion,
I was like, I was like.

Speaker 2 (45:23):
Dude, I haven't heard from him at all.

Speaker 3 (45:24):
He's just Corey's one of the biggest players in the
game and he's just coasting on three doing his thing.

Speaker 1 (45:30):
So and I'm glad you brought that up because I
have I have another man who I think benefits from this.
But you saw me right, And I'm laughing as you're
talking about this, when is the last time, like when
you think of Corey Wharton. You think of the fights,
the girls he's.

Speaker 3 (45:49):
Got, Oh my god, with Tayla remember that.

Speaker 1 (45:51):
Season, Yeah, on Invasion back in the day, Like you
don't think of Corey's playing the middle and like, but
as he and the other dads have said, like, diapers
aren't cheap, you know, yeah, this isn't cheap.

Speaker 3 (46:07):
Kids Having a kid changes you, man, I mean Corey's
Corey's kids are getting old enough where.

Speaker 2 (46:12):
They can watch him.

Speaker 3 (46:13):
Yeah, and you know he wants to set Not only
does he want to win, he wants to example, but
you can tell I think compared to the early seasons,
which is for most players.

Speaker 2 (46:20):
He wants to win very bad, and especially that first win.

Speaker 1 (46:24):
You you bring up Corey and like, I think him
and the other man, wait.

Speaker 2 (46:30):
Let me guess, let me, let me, let me think
and guess who you're going to bring up?

Speaker 1 (46:32):
Sure, okay, here we go.

Speaker 2 (46:35):
Uh uh let's see.

Speaker 3 (46:42):
Ah, I don't know who.

Speaker 2 (46:47):
You're going to bring up. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (46:51):
Okay. So what they both have in common is that
this format benefits them the most in my opinion, and
it's shot.

Speaker 2 (47:00):
Us okay, one hundred percent. I'm gonna talk when you're done.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
Yes. The reason is is that these two, when you
talk about Corey and Josh, they had their drama right,
but it doesn't matter because again, the girls vote in
the guys. The guys vote in the girls. Josh and
Corey have the best relationships with the girls across the board.

(47:26):
We see Josh close with with Rachel, Laurel Tory, we
see him close with Jenny from War of the World's
two he had. Regardless of what people think of Josh,
these girls are gonna want to keep him around because
if he wins it daily, he is going to protect them.

(47:48):
He's friends with Michelle from the Reality World, so and
it's the same with Corey. He has been He's always
never had a ton of power, so he's never backstabbed anybody.
So too.

Speaker 3 (48:01):
Yeah, And what did it for me was when Johnny
was talking about when he was talking about Jordan to
Laurel in the bedroom, Laurel, Josh and other people, and
I was like, Wow, Johnny's just openly talking crap on
Jordan in front of Josh, and I was like And
then I was sitting there and I was like, damn,

(48:22):
Josh is like so.

Speaker 2 (48:24):
Good in this game, like so good and.

Speaker 3 (48:26):
He's sitting in between all these people, and I go
back to the confessionals of Casey, Michelle Tory, all these
people talking crap on him because he has all these friendships.
And now he's got all these friendships and I don't
know who's going to say.

Speaker 2 (48:40):
His name if they win an elimination. So he's sitting
very well.

Speaker 1 (48:45):
And here's the thing, like, it is not a bad
thing to have all these friends.

Speaker 2 (48:50):
Like, oh no, not at all.

Speaker 1 (48:52):
The problem that Josh has and it's been well documented
and we've all laughed at it in some shape or fashion.
The thing that's going to keep Josh back from being
a finalist on this show is that he always, and
we've seen it season after season, he gets to the
very end. It's like the two eliminations before the final

(49:15):
or the one right before, and he shits the bed
so epically. An elimination.

Speaker 3 (49:23):
Well, what's going to do him, What's going to do
him this season in is either he's putting one of
the next couple eliminations and he has to choose yea,
his friends. That the issue with having so many friends
that he has to choose people and then those people
take it personally.

Speaker 2 (49:36):
Yep, that's one.

Speaker 1 (49:38):
Two.

Speaker 2 (49:38):
Like you said, he loses an.

Speaker 3 (49:39):
Elimination right before the final those are the two things
that'll put him put him under.

Speaker 1 (49:45):
And I'll just say on the guy side, the one
other person, because we're we're going to be able to
talk about the girls pretty much the rest of this episode,
So I want to highlight the guys for now and
then move into the elimination and stuff. The one other guy.
And I'm not sure how he plays into this, but
it's clear in the edit he plays into it somehow.

(50:05):
Derek Chavez has been all over this season. We're seeing
him a professional, We're seeing him on the nights out.
They cut to him h during the fights and stuff,
and I'm happy he's been doing well. Now does he? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (50:19):
I don't know what to think of. I don't know
what go ahead.

Speaker 3 (50:22):
Yeah, Yeah, That's that's my thing too, is like are
they set are they seeing him up just because he's
great TV?

Speaker 2 (50:26):
And they're setting him up to go soon?

Speaker 3 (50:28):
I could also see the guys keeping him. The guys
want to keep him obviously, but I think that the
next time Derek is an elimination.

Speaker 1 (50:35):
I think he's gonna lose. Yeah, it's just that's the thing.
It's a lot of strong guys.

Speaker 3 (50:41):
Yeah, well, the thing is gonna be on guy's day
if he is a target as long as he doesn't lose.
Is the girl going to want to put him in
or is the girl going to want to put a
stronger target in? Most likely a stronger target, so he
could very well get by without going into another elimination.

Speaker 1 (50:55):
Mm hmmmm. So on the night out, we know, Johnny says,
at least people know where I stand, and Johnny, he
starts spewing out like, hey, Naya, you're not even in
Jordan's top four. He says that Jordan's top four girls

(51:17):
are Laurel, Tory, Avive, and Rachel. I find it very
interesting because we haven't really gotten Jordan and Aviv together.
You know, we got the the clip of Jordan and
Rachel together a couple of episodes ago, so I understood that.

(51:37):
But I thought this was a decent move by Johnny.
And then when john when Jordan and I are talking
about it, Jordan doesn't give an answer when Nya directly asks,
when she's like, hey, so where am I on your list?
He's like, I just hope it doesn't come down between you,

(51:59):
Laurel and Toy, It's like you've known this woman for
twelve years. You were on your real world together, Like,
come on, don't do her like that. Yeah, so I
enjoyed that, and Johnny and Tory exchange words. Toy is
yelling back at Johnny. People are enjoying it and they're

(52:23):
having fun. You know, they're they're enjoying the night out.
For a bit, we get to the chambers and then
this is when Jenny West is popping off some more.
She's like, look, I really enjoy this. To be honest
with you, like you girls went after me multiple times,
didn't care about my game, didn't care about me. I

(52:46):
do agree with Michelle. I think Jenny took it a
bit far. I think they cared about her. I just
think Jenny was not a part of their plan in
the gift, and there's a big difference.

Speaker 3 (52:58):
Yeah, but you know the thing is like again, when
I mean, okay, maybe Jenny came off a little aggressive
there in the beginning, but also like for Michelle Olivia
to be like, we respecting you and all of a sudden, yeah,
so just own that.

Speaker 2 (53:11):
Come on, this is what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (53:12):
Michelle's great sometimes but other times I'm just like, you
just own it, like we did it.

Speaker 1 (53:18):
I think there would have been so much respect from
the fandom if Michelle and Olivia went down there and
were like, Jenny, we threw you in multiple times. We
would have thrown you in again if we could have.
We get it, you know, do what you have to do,
because it was not going to matter how Michelle Olivia

(53:43):
reacted or politics, Like ultimately, end of the day, it
was Kylon's decision no matter what. With that rule stipulation
that it's the opposite gender who makes the final call,
so these chambers, ultimately, these chambers discussions don't matter a ton.

(54:04):
It is more about the person of the opposite sex
who wins. So now, of course next week it'll be
about the girl who wins in the next episode, so
we'll find that out. But like I said, it's you know,
Michelle is saying she already told Kyl and as soon

(54:24):
as the daily was over, if you have to throw
me in, I understand, I get it. And ultimately, is
Michelle against Naya in this elimination they say we're gonna
avoid crying, and again like this is another part, like
it's so clear Michelle and Olivia really like Naya and
have respect for her and all of this. They're crying

(54:46):
that they're facing off against each other. Why have we
not seen more of this guy? I know?

Speaker 3 (54:51):
I know, Well, you know another thing, funny thing too,
is like Olivia talks about how she isn't a snake
and a bad friend and stuff. But they go to
the confessional and she's like, I love Nya, really like her,
but you know, just really quick that but I really
hope Michelle comes back, and we're like.

Speaker 1 (55:04):
All right, you know, well, and of course she's going
to say that Michelle is her number one ally, but like,
you don't have to word it that way.

Speaker 3 (55:11):
I know, it made it very theme like okay, like
here's Olivia with under eath type of friend again.

Speaker 1 (55:18):
M hm. So Nya mentions, she says, you know, she
says that Jordan's like a target of hers if she's
able to come out of this elimination based on how
everything went in the last the last conversation they had

(55:39):
dis elimination, it's called forty furcation. There are forty heavy
crates that they have to move. Some have locks on them,
and in order to get the locks, I done you
have to solve an equation. Michelle is taking this slow
and study. She's unlocking some moving them, is trying to

(56:01):
unlock everything and move it all at once. I really
did worry for Michelle here. I thought that Naya was
gonna have ease with these crates. But Michelle, Michelle gets
the maths done and Naya, on a tough season, math

(56:22):
has been her kryptonite. She got last place in the
Daily on a math one. She loses an elimination on
a math a bunch of math equations. Math really becoming
more a part of the challenge as of late, really has. Yeah,
so we now have we have Nia losing here. We

(56:46):
have four people now that have won multiple eliminations this season.
We have Kyland and Corey for the guys. We have
Rachel and Michelle Fitzgerald for the girls that have won
multiple eliminations. Very impressive from those four. And for Michelle,

(57:11):
we get Bananas, not a surprise at all, being hiding again.

Speaker 8 (57:18):
Banana's hiding this season has been so funny in the
closets behind people. Yeah, the closets when he was the
target the last last episode and he was like, oh,
it's just packing.

Speaker 1 (57:32):
We get Jordan, which I was a little bit surprised
about because we do see Michelle and Jordan talking about
bananas in this episode, so I was a bit surprised
that Jordan gets seemed to target here and the Amaya
as a target, and the Ami is someone who I

(57:54):
think the girls have a lot of respect for. But
the problem, especially when Naya going home, ne and My's
only allies, Cory and the guys can't see the guys.

Speaker 3 (58:05):
Well, yeah, now it's Rachel, which is a good ally
to have. Yeah, reach is a great ally to have
right now, she's pretty integrated with some pretty strong girls.

Speaker 2 (58:15):
And the other thing too, we didn't talk too much about.

Speaker 3 (58:17):
Yeah, the latest individual challenge on this last episode really
showed that the girls on the Banana's Angels side are
far stronger than the girls on the other side.

Speaker 1 (58:26):
And I know.

Speaker 3 (58:26):
Michelle or I think it was Michelle or Olivia or
somebody laid out all the numbers on their side, and
they have more numbers on that side. But if you
can't win challenges, it's not gonna matter. So and all
they have is Toy. I mean, Toy's not gonna win everything.
And if Toy doesn't win, I mean, no offense, but
Olivia and Michelle are not going to be out here
winning challenges.

Speaker 2 (58:46):
You're gonna have.

Speaker 3 (58:46):
Aviv, Rachel, I, even Carra. Carl will probably put in
Bananas maybe actually I don't even know, So we'll see.
I mean, Kara might even be towards Johnny's side, but
I think ultimately, you know, you have a very strong
side in Banana's angels, So we'll see what happens.

Speaker 1 (59:06):
That's the thing, right, You mentioned Car and Bananas, which
has been like a highlighted relationship this season. Yeah, putting
off on a much better foot throughout the season since
you know, Car got thrown in early, but after that
they've been pretty tame compared to some of their past seasons.

Speaker 7 (59:28):
I do.

Speaker 1 (59:30):
I like what you said, but the one thing that
trips set up is if a girl gets last place,
then they're automatically in. And it looks like this next
episode we're getting a mini purge. Yeah, very exciting, or
a purge at the mini final excuse me, So this

(59:53):
is going to be very exciting, and like you said,
with a purge or excuse me, like I said, with
a purge, we get any sort of anything that comes
up here. So all it takes to someone having a
bad day on Banana's Angels or on the Ladies of
Leisure and they're gone. You know, you got last place

(01:00:16):
on a purge. Season's done, it's cooked. So it's going
to be very interesting to see who goes home. Here
on this episode, we're down to eight women eight men
with a purge here, I don't know. I'm thinking maybe

(01:00:38):
after so I think next week, including next week, I'm
thinking like three or four episodes and then we get
the final.

Speaker 2 (01:00:48):
Yeah, with a purge.

Speaker 3 (01:00:49):
How many are left?

Speaker 1 (01:00:50):
There's just I just had it pulled up here, Hold
on one second, so I'm pretty sure we're down to
after this episode that we just had. I think we're
down to seven No, eight women, eight men.

Speaker 3 (01:01:06):
Okay, so, like, let's systume a purge takes two of each.

Speaker 1 (01:01:11):
It could be two of each, it could be one
of each.

Speaker 2 (01:01:13):
Yeah, yeah, all right, so let's just assume one mm.

Speaker 1 (01:01:17):
Hmmm, so seven and seven after next.

Speaker 2 (01:01:20):
Week, seven and seven?

Speaker 3 (01:01:23):
Yeah, you think maybe we'll do five and five and
then we'll do an elimination after the end of day one,
and then we'll have four and four in the last day.

Speaker 1 (01:01:32):
I could very much see that.

Speaker 3 (01:01:34):
Yeah, so maybe two more episodes in a final, two
part final.

Speaker 1 (01:01:38):
Probably, yeah, I mean every every season lately has been
a two part final.

Speaker 3 (01:01:43):
I know, I want the classic elimination, like these one
day eliminations. These two day eliminations have been like just
so lazy they've been do these do these stupid you know,
do day one do this dumb thing and then you know,
you get to sleep here and then next thing. No,
make them do something hard on the birth day overnight.
Have them do something like in bloodlines or something else

(01:02:04):
that's really difficult overnight, and then let them do something
day two. Like I'm so tired of this, like lazy finals.
I mean I even think back to like the the
first CBS one when it was snowing, Oh my god, horrible,
horrible eliminated, a horrible final.

Speaker 2 (01:02:23):
So yeah, I'm really hoping for a big season like this.

Speaker 3 (01:02:25):
They put a they put a really uh fun final
out there, which I think they have an opportunity to
do given the landscape and the weather and everything else
that they're dealing with.

Speaker 1 (01:02:34):
And if you want to do something stupid, do it overnight.
Like yeah, the finals where they would have like random
donkeys and like people riding in on pinatas and stuff,
and then it was a memory challenge early in the morning. Yeah,
came up like if you want to do something stupid,
do that in the overnight portion. But I agree with you.

(01:02:56):
These these eliminations they've had in finals lately. The only
one that's been memorable was when Casey had to go
up against Nannie in.

Speaker 2 (01:03:05):
That oh yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:03:08):
Other than that, these eliminations have been a joke final Yeah,
in the final, yeah, yeah. So I'm hoping they get better.
I could very much see what you laid out, you know.
I think we get next week's episode and then two
episodes following that with a two part final that will
put us set around fourteen episodes, which I could see,

(01:03:31):
and with part two also having the reunion in it
as well, because in case you listeners didn't know, the
Challengers flew out to Amsterdam for the weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:03:43):
Ansterdam.

Speaker 1 (01:03:44):
Did I say that right, Amsterdam?

Speaker 2 (01:03:46):
Yeah, yeah, you said Ansterdam to.

Speaker 1 (01:03:49):
Film the reunion, So there will be a reunion for
Challenge forty. Hopefully we get some stuff we didn't get
to see. With all these challenges that were there, we
heard that there were very few people who did not.
The people who got purged out in the invitational did

(01:04:12):
not go. Apparently MTV invited Amanda and she went for
a segment, but everyone else who got perched out and
invitational did not go for the invitation or for the
reaunion itself. But looking forward to that and definitely looking
forward to next week's episode. We're very excited to bring

(01:04:35):
you coverage for episode twelve. We will be back next
week and hope you all have a great week.
