Speaker 1 (00:01):
What's going on everybody? Welcome back to another episode of
the Challenge Sands podcast, where we're here to break down
everything Challenge related. My name is Josh Green and you
can find us on all social media platforms at Challenge
fan Pod. We are here to break down Challenge forty
Battle of the Eras episode twelve, the Era of the
Purge fun episode, and I'm excited to break it all
(00:26):
down with my co host, a guy who would not
give up on a memory puzzle, and Sam dun Run Austin.
People said, Austin, how you doing.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
I'm doing great, would not give up on that, but
you know, excited to talk about with a really good,
really good episode.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
Have me have the edge of my seat at the
end too.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Fun episode of fun Purge Challenge just like you know,
I will say, just like a little bit off the top,
like the dailies this season, I think I've knocked it
out of the park. The elimination have just.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Not another horrible dude, yeah another We're getting towards the
end of the game, like, just give us some classic.
Speaker 4 (01:07):
It's well, rant about it, but man, it is so frustrating.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
There have been a lot of frustrating eliminations in a
season that has been still of upsetting eliminations. So we'll
get there. But we are seeing our foreshadowing of this
purge and we're coming back to a Michelle Fitzgerald's elimination
(01:34):
win and some big pressure in the house this week
because Jordan Neamyah and Bananas are the targets for the guys,
two of the best in the game. Maya's of course
no slouch, you know, is a champ himself nearly won
a All Star season, So a an action packed week
(02:00):
for the guys with those targets. Here before we get
to the mini final, we see a beiab is having
a lot of pain and she can hardly run on
her heel. She's really not doing well, so that's just
perfect for the same dude run that's coming up for her.
(02:22):
And then we get a perfect and a big shout
out to the edending team. I love that they threw
in this part about talking about legacy here for Johnny
and Laurel. You know, Johnny talks about and he has
the whole season about how his father fought in Vietnam,
but I love how Laurel's talking about legacy here. And
(02:45):
then we see what happens in the mini final later on.
It's it's very interesting, very interesting to me. You want
to talk legacy, and yeah, it was added in gold
in my opinion.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
Yeah, I mean it's on brand for how she goes
about her you know.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
It's kind of like just on brand. Like and I
think Derek said.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
It well when we we'll talk about when we get there.
But like when she says she's going to do something
like or no, niam I said it. When she says
she's going to do something, you're not going to persuade
her otherwise.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Yeah, that is the best way to sum up Laurel's
challenge career is like she's not going to get swayed
by other people. She's not to flip on her allies,
like and to her own detriment. Like she's just very
like I'm doing this, I'm not listening to anybody else.
But I was very surprised that that's what occurred here
(03:43):
at the end of this mini final. But TJ comes out,
everybody's lined up, and I gotta be honest, I think
people were exaggerating this a bit much. I think they
had to have known coming out to Vietnam when they
(04:04):
saw that there were forty people on this season, Like, yes,
there was a purge in the beginning with the Invitational,
but they had to have thought that there was going
to be another purge at some point, you know, like
this season would have been filming forever you know.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Oh, I know, yeah, And then for them to say like, oh,
who would have saw Nobody saw this coming.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
Like, yeah, I could have guessed.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
Yeah, you probably could have guessed it. You know, it's
not the most outlandish thing to happen.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
How many seasons have there been double eliminations or purges
like that is not ok.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
The interaction between Carl Maria and Orkar Marie Cameria and dude,
I don't know why I have brain farts on this
is a car Maria Orkar Marie did I brain fart
on this all the time?
Speaker 4 (04:51):
And I have won every single challenge and I brain
fart on that all the time.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
I don't know why what it is. I just second
guessed myself.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
It's Maria, She's onto the faces of the show.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
But yeah, yeah, well yeah, okay, yeah dude.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
The interaction between her and TJ was very funny when
she was like.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Doublelimination and Teacher's like, not a e elimination, but it's
a purge and they're like oh.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
They're like, oh even better.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
That was very funny.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
That was great from DJ. He always has those moments
throughout his I know, he shows off his hosting chops
and that was perfect.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
I really don't know why these people were so shocked
that there was a purge here. You know, I think
they could have also like not done a purge, but
like I wasn't, like, holy crap, there's a purge. This
is nuts. They got to keep these people on their toes.
It's slipportious season, and what better places that would purge
(05:51):
than in a mini final. So we find out the
last place guy last place girl automatically going home here,
this second to last place guy is going into elimination
and the second to last place girl will be getting
a disadvantage in the next daily challenge. In this mini
final is called Doomed. They're racing over to checkpoint one
(06:15):
to dig up a key which will unlock the paddle
board at checkpoint two and then at the very end
for checkpoint three is a big memory game full of
the different challenge seasons with a race to the finish
through the sand dunes. I gotta say again, we have
said this so many times another paddle board or kayak
(06:38):
or something. I need these people to stop getting on
these workout machines and get a paddle board, get a
kayak and just practice that. Because there have been so
many challenges and eliminations and parts of finals that involve kayaks.
Paddle boarding.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Yeah, well, kay I think kayak are tougher paddle board.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
If you're an athlete, you're on the challenging of this
deep end, you should.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Be able to paddle board right.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
The kayaking, especially when a group is where it gets
really difficult.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
But yeah, I agree, yes.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
The group kayak. Like I remember at the beginning of
the season when Era one was just going in circles
on that daily challenge and was an absolute mess. Uh yeah,
my heck yeah. But they they love doing these water
different water sports. So listen, these challengers. They got to
(07:35):
get out of the water. You know, it's good to
hit the weights and all that, but get out on
the water, you know, kayak, paddle board, Yeah, when enjoy
the sun, enjoy it. Wow. So we everyone is also shocked,
which this pissed me off. They're shocked that TJ tells
(07:58):
THEO because he was the last place for the guys
in the last daily, he gets a two minute time penalty,
and they're all just like, oh my god, a two
minute time penalty. THEO might as well go home. There's
no way he can come back. I know, I know,
were like, I was like, I'm sorry. You know, there's
a memory game in this and paddle boarding and a
(08:22):
bunch of running in Theo's a former Olympian. Two minutes
you're gonna roll him out already. So yeah, it's crazy.
So we're you know, everyone's it is a little bit
harder to track in these mini finals, at least in
the beginning. But at least in the beginning here Jenny
(08:44):
West is doing a great job. But I really think
we've seen it in multiple of these dailies. I just
have a feeling we're gonna get Jenny in the final
gassing out so early because her endurance is so bad
without her and Hailer and even with it, like she know,
(09:04):
it's that like half a mile and she's done.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
Yeah, it's pretty bad, and look.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Like she's clearly very well in shape, but it's like
it's got to be asthma or something, because it's it's
constant with her. She was stopping so much compared to
everybody else. It was it was crazy. But THEO pretty
quickly is making up this penalty. You know, Like we said,
I thought it was pretty crazy that they were just
(09:34):
gonna rule him out and be like, oh my god,
there's no way. We get a lot of people on
this memory puzzle as they get over there, you know,
saying how hard it is, and it obviously was much
more difficult in the heat and running in the sand,
like that's got to be a nightmare out there doing
(09:58):
all of that. But Bananas is the first one to
get a check and he is wrong. So he goes
back and rechecks every single one. Because of his experience
in the game, he knows that if he doesn't check everyone,
he may have missed one and then he'll get purged out.
(10:18):
So although it's the annoying way to do it, it
was the correct way for Bananas to tackle this. Yeah,
of course, I don't think anybody's surprised Kyland on his
first try gets the memory puzzle, right.
Speaker 4 (10:33):
Yeah, he's going to be a problem in the final.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
I mean, they gotta get him out or he's he's
gonna win soon.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
I mean, next couple of seasons he's going to win.
But he is, he's a problem.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
They must have been so pissed off to hear that
the last checkpoint was a memory thing. They were like,
you gotta be kidding me. Yeah, I know, you gotta
be kidding me. This is Kylin's bread and butter. He's
going to get to the end in two seconds here
on this chow He's like, he doesn't even have to
do a full run because he finishes so much closer
(11:06):
or so much further out than everyone else. He wins
this daily challenge, and you're right, if it's not this season,
he is going to get a win soon, very soon.
He he's doing it against the best competition too. You know,
(11:27):
he's beaten champs in elimination, he's beating them in dailies.
Like it's gonna happen for him. It's going to it's
just a matter of when. So a big kudos to
Kyland here. Just an awesome especially to beat Jordan on
a mini final like this. Great job. Tory dial gets
(11:51):
done for the girls in this mini final. I guess
not too surprising. I was just very I was surprised
that the memory puzzled and trip her up more, but
good for Tory getting it done.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
Yeah, he's a beast.
Speaker 4 (12:08):
I mean, I mean, Banana's angels are strong, but.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
Man, he can't be Tori. It doesn't matter.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
Yeah, Yeah, Rachel gets second here, and we're very quickly
down to Derek Nehemiah and Feel for the guys, and
Laurel and Michelle for the girls, and I mean, I
know we've spoken about it a little bit, but we've
been seeing a lot of Derek Chavez this season, so
(12:41):
I really didn't think that he was going here. I thought,
you know, there's no way he's going to get purged out.
There's got to be more to Derek's story. And then
with Laurel and Michelle. Until we get Laurel on not
(13:02):
even five minutes after Michelle, which is the memory puzzle,
I really didn't know who was gonna win. I really
thought it was a toss up with those two. We
get we do get Michelle finishing up the memory puzzle,
and it seems almost instant like Laurel can still see
(13:24):
Michelle in the same vision. You know, she hasn't even
crossed that first hill of the sand dunes and Laurel says,
I'm done. Yeah, and I am just I'm shocked. I
really am. You know Laurel, Yes, like people throw daily challenges,
(13:45):
but that's completely different than completely quitting, especially different when
you know that the last place girl is going home.
Speaker 4 (13:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
Yeah, it seems like he wasn't even she didn't know
what she's gonna do with the puzzle.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
I mean, he's gonna lose any ways, but yeah, I
mean to give.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
Up like that, it's tough, especially after Kara, you know,
kayn Kara is like she's one of the greatest of
all time and stuff like, man, giving up is tough.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
Kara gave her props, but then I think she also
said in the episode, like I think Laurel realized she
wasn't gonna be able to keep up.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
Oh I know, no, I could totally see her just
kind of Yeah, she was gonna get embarrassed in a final.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
Could you imagine Laurel like even let's say it was
all Banana's angels, Like even with the VIVS injury, she
was running so much better.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
Oh, I know.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
Rachel would have smoked her, you know, So, I I
do think that that was a correct read by or
by Kara to say, like, you know, I don't know
if Laurel wanted to make the final and get absolutely smoked,
but I mean, I think, in my opinion, this is
a worse hit to her legacy to just quit a
(14:57):
mini final than to make the final and you know,
get smoked. I was shocked, I really, you know, people
said ought about Laurel, and it's all true in my opinion,
But to completely give up when if she sobs the
memory puzzle, she still has a chance to catch Michelle,
(15:19):
you know.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
Yeah, I mean, I don't know, I think at that
point it's over, but yeah, I mean, she still gave up,
which sucks.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
I don't think it was impossible for her to have
caught Michelle though, right, Like I don't. It's not like
Laurel just got to the memory puzzle. Michelle called check
and was right like, Laurel was working on that puzzle
the whole time, so who knows, Like maybe it was
just one thing she needed to fix. But a great
moment for Michelle. You know, she gets check here, she
(15:49):
gets her right coming off the elimination one. She takes
out somebody who's been gunning for her all season, and
Laurel's out of the game, which I'm sure plenty of
people in the house are happy about as she really
was only protecting Bananas. But you know, a big, a
big loss for Johnny here. Of course, this is one
(16:12):
of his biggest allies. Yep, yet another this is this
has been the theme of the season for Bananas. Aside
from the remaining angels. He lost Tony and Leroy early
in the season, he loses Laurel here. He has taken
hit after it after it with his closest allies. He
lost Emily in that elimination to Tina. All of his
(16:36):
closest friends and allies have gone one by one, putting
him in a very interesting spot this season. So we
get for the guys, Derek gets it done, and we're
down to THEO and me A Maia going back and forth,
back and forth. And I really didn't know here either, right,
(16:58):
because aside Neamiah's elimination win against CT, we haven't seen
much of him this season either. Uh, and we barely
see THEO.
Speaker 4 (17:09):
Yeah yeah, I mean THEO kind of summed up his season.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
I mean, he's just taking a holiday, right hanging out
with Olivia, which.
Speaker 4 (17:17):
Is I mean I get it, but also a little upsetting.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
I mean, THEO is a beast, and you could tell
this entire season he just completely fell off.
Speaker 4 (17:25):
It seemed like he wasn't putting in a ton of
effort in the off season.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
And and like you know, it was it was upsetting
because War of the Worlds, I mean, he was he
was like insane.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
It was so impressive, how how in shape he was.
And then here, Yeah, it was it was very different.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
We didn't see a lot of him because he was
really just focused on Olivia, which again is fine, but yeah,
I mean that's my thoughts.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
Yeah, it's uh, you know, THEO does beat out Neamiah
here in this in the mini final, he adges him
out a little bit and gets it done. But yeah,
we I think it's a pretty good foreshadowing though, because
Theo's talking about even in the mini final, he's saying,
(18:16):
how yeah, this season, I've really been focusing on Olivia,
having trained blah blah blah, and uh, you know, a
tough spot because he's now gonna have a penalty again
if he if he were to survive this week, So
(18:38):
you know, I know people have been saying it on
social media and obviously theo's got to stick up for himself,
but it is true the guy has been a slouch
this season.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
Yeah yeah, no, big time.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
So what we're saying, yeah, so hopefully just.
Speaker 4 (18:54):
Kind of hang.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
I didn't even seen him training in the gym or anything.
I mean, he's just been hanging with Olivia, which is fine.
I mean that's his thing and that thought he wants
to do. That's totally fine. But he even said it like,
you know, now is the time I really got to
turn it on and like I don't know how in
shape I am, which you know is what happens.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
So Neamia and Laurel are both out. I will say,
even though Niamiah got a not a ton in the edit,
I I do really think that Niamiyah. I've always seen
people say, like why does he get asked back? You know,
why was he here on forty I really think that
(19:30):
he like people need to stop with that, uh that
notion about him, Like he he's a champ. He already
beat ctem elimination here, he was in the mix with
the Era two stuff, and he was close with the
Ara two girls. Like I just think that he has
his spot in the Challenge world. And I don't feel
(19:53):
that it's it's right to question, like, oh, you know,
should he be one of the five guys representing our two.
I think he had a good run here, and you know,
it's tough to see him go. And then with Laurel,
a wild ride for her this season, plenty of arguments,
(20:17):
plenty of you know, she did put on and a
couple of dailies did well, but she was thrilled to
leave the game. She's high fiving everybody. I couldn't believe it,
but yeah, that's a wrap on the Andmia own Laurel
from the game, and that means we've got Michelle Fitzgerald
(20:43):
with a time penalty for the next Daily. And now
THEO is right into elimination against either Bananas or Jordan
or oh yeah, it's either Bananas or Jordan because them.
I went home and Johnny jokes that he knows he's
going in against the everybody knows, because there's no way
(21:06):
Toy's gonna send Jordan in here. I hated, and I'm
sure I don't blame Toy for this. I think production
told her that she had to, you know, kind of
make it interesting, but there was no way she was
going to send Jordans in here.
Speaker 4 (21:22):
No, yeah, yeah, I don't really understand what she's doing.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
I mean it was gonna be obvious, and I love it.
Speaker 4 (21:25):
She's like, we'll hear what Bananas has to say, like no, no,
you weren't.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
You're not like you're you're only doing this so like
Bananas can get his his moment in the chamber and
like he deserves that, but Toy's not gonna hear him out.
We all know that, and she shouldn't, right, Like for
her game, it's better to have Jordan, and it makes
the most sense. So and again I really don't blame Toy.
(21:53):
I think production told her like, hey, we need a
sound body, you saying like I'll hear Johnny out what
he's gonna say. So just a mess, but we do.
We start to get these confessionals that I've really been
enjoying here, excuse me. Derek talks about it as well
(22:18):
as Rachel. He's saying, you want your allies of the
opposite sex to do well, but you also want their
biggest adversary to then win the elimination so they can
name your closest allies as the targets. So then you
(22:41):
won't be the next target. And I hadn't thought about
it that way, but it makes so much sense now
hearing about it and confessional.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (22:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
The other thing too, is like you know, with Bananas
days as like annoyed as.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
Everybody has like you know who he's gonna pick?
Speaker 5 (22:56):
Yeah for me, and it takes and for they like
it basically takes away a third potential third option because
you know, it's always going to be Bananas is always
gonna be one.
Speaker 4 (23:09):
So you have, you know, two other guys you have
to worry about other than that.
Speaker 1 (23:12):
Yeah, yeah, and it's uh Rachel mentions it in confessional too.
You know, they want Johnny to stay in the game
because if he he goes down and he wins Rachel
Aviv Jenny, they're safe, you know, for now at least.
(23:33):
Right it's uh, you know, we're getting to a point
as the numbers dwindle that there could be a time
where if it's still three targets, I have a feeling
it's going to go to two soon. But if it
stays at three, yeah, Johnny's going to be saving uh
(23:53):
Rachel Aviv Jenny every time. And then Johnny, I think
vice versa is gonna want one of the angels to
be in the sand because if they win, he's safe
and that's the only way he will be safe. Every
other girl is saying his name. So I like how
(24:14):
the you know, players on different sides of the house.
We're talking about that before the elimination. Yeah, I mean
in the chamber this week, we really didn't get much Johnny.
Johnny's doing his Johnny thing. We we appreciate it, but
he he knows he's going in h And I you
know what, I appreciate how he said, like, why are
(24:35):
we wasting our time? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (24:37):
You know, yeah, I mean I I like what he
did there, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
Why are we wasting our time? So we get Johnny
and THEO. They're in for this elimination called cramping it out. Uh,
and we have these uh you know, two cylinders. And
as soon as I see the cylinders, I'm like, you
gotta be kidding me, Like this is the same elimination
(25:02):
that THEO. THEO got one in World of the World's
against Johnny that he somehow beat him in. But he
was in that like small dice. Do you remember that
how they had to like roll around?
Speaker 3 (25:16):
Yeah, yeah, I do remember that.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
You got a six foot eight guy having to go
in that and then the cylinder, like, come on.
Speaker 4 (25:23):
Well he'd beat Johnny in that one though, yes he did.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
Yeah, so again.
Speaker 4 (25:28):
Again just another dumb elimination.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
Yeah, so I mean, yeah, I don't know, the high
low part that was fun, but like, god, so dumb.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
Yeah, that's the best way to describe it. It was
fun but so dumb.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
So dumb.
Speaker 4 (25:44):
I was like, dude, these are just chance things that
you could lose to it.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
So there's no skill, there's no anything like I was
thinking about because I've heard different challenge commentators out there
talking about, you know, looking at elimination and seeing different
ways that it could be better. Since so many people
have really not liked the eliminations this season, you know
(26:08):
what I thought they could have done here and I
don't know, you know, maybe this could have been fun.
I know in some eliminations in the past, they've had
like a twist where like you call someone from the
rafters to be your eyes and ears type of thing
that like blindfolded them or something. I don't know, like
(26:32):
I feel like there's something else that could have been
better here, but this was just man, was it stupid?
So they start with eight poles that they have to
put in the cylinder, and basically the goal is to
get your opponent as crammed in as possible. And then,
for whatever reasons, as we've already alluded to, because it
(26:56):
was so stupid, we're playing a game a high low.
So TJ clips a card. You then have to say
whether it's going to be higher or lower. If you
get a right, you get two poles to add, and
the loser only gets to add one pole. Again, this
is so as we see with how many rounds these
(27:17):
two do. It was so inconsequential whether you want high
or lower or not.
Speaker 3 (27:24):
Yeah, it was it. Well, no, I think it was
consequential if you won or lost.
Speaker 4 (27:28):
But like it was just chance.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
Yeah, it was just chance.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
Yeah it ended up being a big deal, but like, yeah,
I don't know, it's just yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (27:39):
They go round after round. I do enjoy Michelle and Josh.
I think everybody was just so annoyed at each other.
But Michelle and Josh are getting annoyed at each other
here and they're just bickering back and forth. I think
everyone is just pissed and Corey sitting confessional everyone's pissed
(28:02):
that Josh is rooting for every person in elimination. It's
good that Josh has all these allies, but I have
noticed it this season where he'll root for both people.
Don't do that, Yeah, just don't say anything. If you're
friends with both people, don't say shit. Just enjoyed the
(28:22):
elimination and keep your mouth shut. This was this was crazy.
They're doing thirteen rounds back and forth. It's getting very tight.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
Yeah, and also on the rooting for both thing, like
also like Michelle needs to like.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
Like what, I don't know Jeah.
Speaker 4 (28:45):
Obviously he's friends with both, and he has clearly been
voting for both the entire the entire elimination.
Speaker 3 (28:52):
So yeah, like stop that. I didn't that was that
was dumb.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
Michelle did host something on her uh Instagram. She was
like sorry at Josh Martinez. The elimination was going on
for two hours and smoldering heat. You were just that,
you know, she was just at her wits end standing
up there in the hot Vietnam sun. But I do
agree with you. It's like, come on, just there are
(29:20):
certain situations I guess where you know you're friends with both,
you're going to root for both whatever, but ye, not
wouldn't be how I would handle it. We can tell.
At least I thought it was pretty obvious THEO is
having a real rough time out there. He's a big
ass dude. These polls are getting in the way, Bananas
(29:43):
is winning quite a bit of this high low, and
ultimately THEO loses here and he gets his emotional goodbye
to Olivia. You know. A, I think a lot of
peopleeople were very excited to see THEO back on the show.
(30:03):
It had been a long time between all these you know,
Challenge USA or oh he was on Global, he was there,
but you know, a good run from THEO. But man
was it boring?
Speaker 2 (30:20):
Yeah, I mean we barely saw him, so it was
like a fine run from THEA.
Speaker 3 (30:25):
He didn't do shit.
Speaker 4 (30:26):
I mean he lost three times I think.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
In the dailies. I think that's right, Yeah, something like that.
Speaker 4 (30:34):
That's like really bad and he made it this far.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
He lost the last two for sure, and then yeah,
I think there was another one that he lost. Yeah,
I mean really that. I don't think anybody would have
predicted for THEO coming into this season, you.
Speaker 4 (30:55):
Know, no, yeah, no, he just came in just unprepared.
I mean he was, dude, getting last that many times
is just row off.
Speaker 3 (31:03):
I thought the last last week was really.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
Funny when he was like, yeah, you know, like this
is a good one.
Speaker 3 (31:10):
I think I can be able to win, and he
has the last place.
Speaker 1 (31:15):
It was tough. I think he is going to want
to do more seasons in the future. I think he
might get the call because look like I still know
we will give him one thing, that elimination that Hall
brawl against Polly when people think of season forty.
Speaker 3 (31:38):
Oh yeah, I mean pummeled him.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
That's gonna be one of the moments. Whether you think
it's a right moment to think of or not, it
will be something. And social media was a buzz when
that happened. So I do think THEO will get a call.
I don't know if it's going to be right away,
but I think at some point.
Speaker 4 (32:00):
Yeah, I think he'll come back.
Speaker 3 (32:01):
And I do think he'll pray more in the offseason.
Like I think he's a competitive guy.
Speaker 2 (32:05):
He kind of knows he didn't do much this uh
this then, so I think he'll he'll.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
Spend some time training. Yeah yeah, and uh Johnny Bananas
with the win here on a very I saw a
great stat on Twitter here on the MTV show, So
just the MTV versions, not All Stars or USA or Global.
(32:34):
This is Johnny's sixth elimination win in a row, and
he now has the most elimination wins in Challenge history, which,
like the elimination wins thing, does not surprise me. Johnny's
done more seasons than anyone, so like just by default,
he'll have more chances to win eliminations. But Johnny's picking targets,
(32:58):
it's not really surprising who he picks. Here, Olivia and
Michelle and Kara are the targets for the girls heading
into next week, we have thirteen people left. We've got
six guys, seven girls, and we have we'll have a
(33:19):
girl's elimination next week. I don't know when the season
finale is, so I don't know.
Speaker 2 (33:27):
One more double elimination maybe like where you do a
girl and a guy in the same night and then
you have five of each, and then you could and
then start a final and then at the end of
the day you would do an elimination on the first
day and then you have four and four for.
Speaker 3 (33:44):
The final day.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
Yeah, could do that.
Speaker 4 (33:48):
Yeah, that works unless we know the last day.
Speaker 3 (33:50):
I don't know when the last day is.
Speaker 1 (33:52):
I'm sure it's out there somewhere like somebody like there's
got to be some press that's you know, done interviews
with them. Yeah, I'm not sure sure what it is,
but well, look we're going to be recapping it. It's
we're getting down to as our one of our favorite challengers,
Nelly T says, we're getting down to the needy, greedy,
(34:14):
as he used to say on The Challenge, total madness,
and yeah, thirteen people. We started at forty. Here we
are with thirteen left in the game. Yeah, very exciting stuff.
We are going to be bringing you coverage all throughout
the rest of the season. Pumped up to be here
