Speaker 1 (00:12):
Greetings. This is your friend and host, Pastor Caleb Santos,
and I welcome you to the Christian Corner Ministries where
we're going to get a word and douce season. Amen,
So prepare your hearts to receive. My topic for today
is are you being motivated for the Lord? Are you
being stirred up to do God's will? To do God's business? Amen?

(00:36):
Praise the Lord. Thank you for having me in your
car and your home wherever. I really appreciate these few
minutes of your time so that we could go together
and dive into the Word of God. Again. We're going
to look at the subject being encouraged to do God's Will?

(00:57):
Are you encouraged? That's the title all you encourage? Are
you encouraged to do God's Will? Amen? Let's go to
the Throne of Grace and have a quick word of prayer.
Do you having? Father? We thank you Lord for this
wonderful day and maybe reigning here in Norfolk, Virginia. I
don't know how it may be in other places, but
I thank you even though it may be a rainy day,

(01:19):
but Lord, we have a lot to thank you for.
And Father, we thank you for the listeners that you
are bringing towards this podcast. I believe they're going to
start to grow. And Father, I thank you for my family.
I thank you for what you're doing. I thank you
for the protection of my family. I thank you for
the protection of others people's family. Father, give us the

(01:40):
spirit of wisdom and revelation and the knowledge of Him,
and help us to dissect your word, to understand your word,
to let us speak to us in Jesus' name. Amen
and Amen. Well, let's start off with Psalms one hundred
and thirty two, verse one through six. Psalms one hundred
and thirty two, Verse one through six. Lord, remember David

(02:03):
and all his afflictions. This is from the King James,
how he square unto the Lord and vowed unto the
Mighty God of Jacob. Surely, I will not come into
the tabernac of my house. Now go up into my bed.
I will not get sleep to my eyes or slumber
to my eyelids until I find out a place for

(02:24):
the Lord and habitation for the Mighty God of Jacob. Lo.
We heard of it at Epra. We found it in
the fields of the wood. Now I want to try
to see if I could read this from the Living Bible. Amen,
so bear with me. It says here, Lord, do you
remember that time when my heart was so filled with turmoil.

(02:47):
I couldn't rest, I couldn't sleep, thinking how I ought
to build a permanent home for the Ark of the Lord,
a temple for the Mighty One of Israel. Then I
vowed that I would do it. I made a solemn
promise to the Lord. First the arc was at Epra,
then in the distant countryside of JR Jar. I don't

(03:08):
know if I'm pronouncing that right, Amen, but notice here
it says here Lord, we heard it at Epra. We
found it in the fields of the wood. Let's read
the message to see how the message translates. Oh God,
remember David and all his Remember all his troubles, and

(03:29):
remember how he promised. God made a vow to the
Strong God of Jacob. I'm not going home, and I'm
not going to bed. I'm not going to sleep nor
even take time to rest until I find a home
for God, a house for the strong God of Jacob.
Remember how we got the news in Epra. Learn all

(03:50):
about it. At JR Meadows, we shouted, let's go to
the shrine dedication let's worship at God's own footstore though footstool.
Blah blah blah. I'm sorry I speaking in tongues now, Okay,
Now we see David how he was consumed with doing

(04:11):
God's will. Amen, And we have to be encouraged to
do God's will. Amen. And honest, I want to focus
on the word here because the Lord had me to
focus on the word. And it's a strange sounding word,
and I was looking for the pronunciation through the internet
and it's verse six. Slow. We heard of it at

(04:35):
hepatri Heva trial, and Heva trial means fruitfulness. See what
he what they heard about? It was being fruitful to
their ears. Okay, And here's the thing. Is your church
being fruitful, is your Bible fellowship being fruitful? Is your

(04:56):
prayer time being fruitful? Because when you are fruit you
start to hear testimonies, you start to hear God's direction,
you start to hear God's purposes. And here was David.
He was so consumed with doing God's promise that he made.
He made a vow to the Lord, and he was

(05:17):
consumed about fulfilling it. A lot of us sometimes we
make promises to the Lord and we just forget about it.
But we need to really be consumed with serving Him.
And when we make a promise, we need to fulfill it. Amen.
David couldn't find no sleep. He wanted to build a tabernacle.
You know why, because he had a good tabernacle. He

(05:40):
was living in luxury, and I say always say this
to the body of Christ's luxury is not a sin.
It's a sin when it takes the place of God.
He had all the luxury, all the thing he wanted
to but yet the tabernauc of God was just something
that was not as glorious his tabernacle. He had what

(06:02):
was called a tabernacle of David, and it measured not
to the degree that he wanted it to become. Amen.
It wasn't short, maybe a short housing or something. I'm
not too sure. But he had a place where he
called it the tabernacle. It was called the Tabernacle of David.
But the Lord didn't allow David to build a tabernacle.

(06:23):
You know why, because his hands were stained with blood.
Now that doesn't mean that he was killing people, and
it was a cold blood head. They killed Uriah, so
that probably might have been it. He was a man
of war, and he killed Uriah, so his hands were
stained with blood. So he had Solomon build up the

(06:44):
tabernacle and it was a glorious tabernacle. Amen. So that's
why we need to be careful because sometimes our actions
have consequences. Yes, God forgives, yes God restores, but sometimes
our action can have some dire consequences for us in
the future. Amen. But let me get back to uh.

(07:05):
The name Uh, the name that we had quoted. Eft
Efratroll was known to be the father of Beckleham and
he was a father means founder, group head of a family,
so he was considered to be the founder of Beckleham.
What he was well known in Becklehem. Now, the word

(07:29):
Becklehem comes from two root words. It comes from Bethel,
which is house of God, excuse me, and Becklehem, which
means the house of bread. Becklehem the house of bread.
So here's one thing I need to for you to understand.
Are you being filled at your church? Do you feel

(07:50):
like when you go to church you're being fed or
do you feel like you're not being fed? You feel
like you just go it, go there for obligation and
then you go and what let me tell you, You've
got to get into a place where when you go
into the House of God, be in prayer, be in
the tabernacle. You've got to have the mana, the bread

(08:11):
of life, the bread to motivate you. Amen. Let's look
at Jeremiah fifteen, fifteen sixteen. It says thy words were found,
and I did eat them, and thy word was unto me.
The joy and rejoicing of my heart, for I am
called by thy name, O, Lord, God of Hosts. Now

(08:32):
I said this once, and I'll say this again, because
this bear is repeating. Be careful what you applied to
the word. Be careful how you understand the word. There
was a king, he was saved. He knew the Lord,
but he misunderstood the word, and he literally started to
eat the pages of his bible. Everything was all right

(08:55):
with the king eating the Bible, the Bible pages. The
subject thought that he was into some kind of new revelation.
But all of a sudden he died because when he
ate the words of the Bible, he got to the
colored pictures and then poison him. Friends, be careful how
you understand the word. See when Jesus said that unless

(09:19):
you eat my flesh, and you and you drink of
my blood. You have no life in you. You have
no you have you cannot partake with me. Basically, he
was saying, you have no life in you. And the
people thought that was around Jesus. They thought, oh, he's
he's he's crazy. He's going to kill himself and he's
going to have his disciples he eat up his flesh

(09:40):
and and drink his blood. And they thought he was
into some kind of a weird cold. But again they
misunderstood the word. Jesus was not saying literally to eat
of his flesh and drink of his blood, but to
do it in a symbolic way. Amen, in a symbolic way,
And you eat the bread of life when you start

(10:02):
to do the will of God, when you start to
meditate on the word of God. Amen. There's a scripture
and you can look it up in the Bible. It
says that these enemies are as bread for you. Amen.
You can eat bread to just doing the word of God.
You get. The Bible says, be not hearers, but doers.
That's how you go into full digestion of the word.

(10:25):
The Bible says also that Jesus said, my meat is
to do the will of my father. Amen. You start
to digest the word as you do, as you put
action onto what you have heard. Amen. And that's why
it's a delight. It is a joy that word is
intended to change you. Amen. Paul had a dilemma and

(10:47):
Romans chapter six. He kept on doing the same thing
over and over and over. And I don't know what
sin he was doing. It doesn't say, but he was
frustrated with himself, and he said, that thing that I hate,
I do. A lot of preachers say, you got to
hate sin so that you can stop sinning. But it
goes beyond that. You got to you got to go

(11:09):
beyond that. You got to get to the place where
you have to take some time and see a revelation
of the Word. What the Lord has in the Word
for you. The Word of God says in Psalms one
hundred and nineteen, Thy Word have I hid in my
heart that I may not sin against you. When you
start to take the Word of God, when you start

(11:29):
to meditate in the Word of God, when you start
to hear the Word of God, that faith starts to
grow and that faith starts to overcome the flesh. Amen.
That's why meditating in the Word is so important. It's
good to study the word. I prefer to read and
study the word, but sometimes the Lord has to call
my attention, says some you have to quote the word.

(11:52):
You have to pray in tongues, because that way you
get edified. That way you control your flesh. You get
that flesh under control. And Paul had a revelation on
chapter eight of Romans. He says there's no condemnation because
he had a revelation of who he was in Christ
and what belongs to him. Amen. See, we could hear

(12:15):
about the blessings of God, we could hear about the
promises of God. But unless it gets to be deep
down in our spirit, it's not going to have no life.
It's not going to bring fruit. And all you're going
to be is just hearing. But you got to really
apply it. You got to listen to it and put
your hand to the plow. The Holy Spirit is there

(12:35):
to help you. A lot of times we think that
the Holy Spirit is there to do our job. No,
he's there to help you. When you stumble, he helps
pick you up. Put your hand on the plower. You
keep on plowing and plowing until you get to see
some fruit. Amen, let me tell you the Holy Spirit
is a wonderful, wonderful thing or as a wonderful person.

(12:56):
He's your friend, Amen, he's your That's why we need
to acknowledge his presence every day and our lives. Amen,
a knowledge his presence. That way, he'll give you the
mind of Christ for business, ideas for closing that deal,
for going where you need to go, for avoiding places
to avoid because he knows what's going to happen in

(13:19):
the future. For learning how to pray for your loved ones,
for learning how to pray for your government. The Holy
Spirit knows it all. He's the genius that lives inside
of you. I have a genius that lives inside of me.
You have a genius that lives inside of you, and
he has all the answers to all life's problem. Hallelujah,

(13:39):
Praise the Lord. So I just want to share that
with you. Amen, Praise the Lord. We're about ready to leave, Amen,
to depart ways, and thank you for allowing me into
your home. And just let you know that we love
you and the Lord. Until tomorrow, God willing, we're going
to be looking at the different types of bread, the

(14:02):
different types of bread until then have a blessed day,
and remember you have the mind of Christ. Bye bye
