Have you ever felt surrounded by struggle, unsure how to respond? In *2 Chronicles 20*, King Jehoshaphat faced just that. An alliance of enemy armies was closing in, and fear could’ve easily taken hold. But instead, he led Judah into fasting, prayer, and—most powerfully—worship.

That’s when God made a stunning promise: *“You won’t need to fight this battle. Stand firm, take your position, and see the salvation of the Lord.”* So Jehoshaphat placed worshippers ahead of the warriors. Their songs weren’t just noise—they were spiritual strategy. As they praised, God ambushed their enemies.

We often think of worship as something quiet or reflective. But in moments of uncertainty, it becomes something fierce. Worship is an act of faith, a declaration of trust, and a weapon in spiritual warfare.

Ask yourself: **What would it look like to send worship ahead of your worry?**

When life feels like a battlefield, praise refocuses your eyes. It shifts the conversation from fear to faith, from the problem to God’s power. You’re not ignoring the struggle—you’re anchoring yourself in the One who has already won the victory.

So today, lift your voice before lifting your hands in stress. Let praise go first. Worship isn’t just the song—it’s the strategy.

We prayed that the worship and biblical teaching would help
and encourage you. Now, the next voice you will hear
is our own Pastor, Caleb Santos.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. This
is your friend and host, Pastor Caleb Santos. Today we're
going to talk about frontline faith when worship leads the battle?
Frontline faith, when worship leads the battle. I wanted to
piggyback on what our pastor was talking about. He was

(00:40):
talking about Psalms one hundred and fifty and how important
it is to maintain a spirit of faith in the
midst of your problems, no matter what, we need to
praise the Lord. And I got so inspired and encouraged
by those words that I wanted to kind of elaborate
and like I said, my title for this message is

(01:01):
frontline faith when worship leads the battle. Have you ever
felt surrounded by struggle, unsure how to respond? And Second Chronicles,
Chapter twenty, King jehosaphat faced just that there was three
nations that were after his army. He was facing overwhelming odds.

(01:22):
He was fighting the children of Amin Moab and Mount Seer,
so he was having overwhelming odds. And like I said,
an alliance of enemy armies was closing in and fear
could have easily taken hold. But instead he led Judah
into fasting, prayer and most important, important and powerful ingredient.

(01:46):
I wanted to add, this is worship. Worship, fasting, prayer
and worship, three power ingredients that you need to understand.
And that's when God made a stunning promise. He had
a word. He says, you won't need to fight this battle.
Stand firm, take your position, and see the salvation of

(02:08):
the Lord. Let me read it from the King James version.
The King James version says here and he said, Hurking,
ye all Judith, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou
king jehasafat. Thus saith the Lord unto you. Be not
afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude. For
the battle is not yours but God. The battle is

(02:31):
God's amen. And let me say this. We often think
of worship as something quiet or reflective, but in moments
of uncertainty, it becomes something fierce. Worship is an active
faith of declaration of trust and a weapon and spiritual warfare.

(02:51):
Ask yourself, what would it look like to send worship
ahead of your worry when life feels like a battlefield.
Praise we focus in your eyes? Is shift the conversation
from fear to faith, from the problem to God's power.
You're not ignoring the struggle. You're anchoring yourself and the
one who has already won the victory. We are fighting

(03:13):
from a place of victory. Amen. So today lift your
voice before lifting your hands and stress, Let praise go first.
Worship isn't just the song, it's the strategy. God gives
us strategy and worship is a powerful tool to have.
Don't look at the natural, look at the spiritual. How

(03:37):
do you see yourself? Do you see yourself victorious or
do you see yourself defeated? Words have power, you know.
So it's good to just believe God, to not be worried,
to stand firm, fear not and see the salvation of
the Lord. Cast the care of it on the Lord.

(03:57):
Stop worrying, worry, we just make get worse. Start thinking
about the problem. We pray the problem. We think the problem.
We have a problem, speak the answer. Speak the answer
instead of the problem. Train your mind. Train every thought.
Capture those thoughts of fear, Capture those thoughts of worry.

(04:18):
The Bible says that whatsoever you shall bind on earth,
we'll be bound in heaven. Whatsoever we're loose on earth
shall be loose in heaven. Bind those thoughts, put them
under your feet, Start to think, start to train yourself.
The Bible says that he wants us to prosper even
as our soul prospers and being good health. Your soul
is your mind well an emotion. And you have to

(04:41):
take captive these thoughts so that you can see God's
perfect plan. God will direct you, God will lead you.
And in this case, the Lord said, the Lord told
Jehosaphat to send the praisers first, to send them out
there to start singing praise in the midst of battles.
And the enemies they started, they turned against each other.

(05:03):
Let me tell you, we serve a God of victory,
we don't serve a god of defeat. So and this day,
stop worrying about your problems. Stop worrying about it, cast
your care upon the Lord, and start to see the
promises of God. All his promises are yay and amen.
When you start to use the word of God and praise,

(05:26):
and when you start to praise them and start to
sing songs of praise, the victory will surely come. So
that's it for today. I wanted to give you a
short encouraging message, and I pray that this message may
be a wonderful encouragement for you and this wonderful Monday.
I know that some of you are going back to work,
and some of you are dreading to go back to

(05:48):
you me to you to work. I get so excited
when I talk about the Lord when you get back
to work. Let me tell you, it's just a wonderful
thing when you could just have the Lord fight your
battles at work, when you have the persecution that lives
against you. The Bible has a promise for that. He says,
the ways of man please the Lord. He causes enemies

(06:11):
to be at peace. So right now, those who are
going to work, those who are going to find challenges
in their workplace, those who have to deal with that
person that's persecuting you, I'm going to pray for you,
Heavenly Father, I pray for those who are going to work,
who are dreading going to work, who have to put
up with persecution, who have to put up with people

(06:32):
that are harassing them because of their faith. Lord, your
word says that when a man woman's ways please you,
you cause their enemies to be at peace. Father, we
speak peace to this place, to the workplace. And Lord,
I pray for my brother or sister to have the
wisdom of God to know what to do in every circumstance,

(06:54):
to give them wisdom to do the things right. In
the name of Jesus, we pray according to your word.
Amen and Amen. Well that's it for now. Remember you
have the mind of Christ. Be blessed.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Thank you for joining us. We pray that you are
blessed with our worship and biblical teaching. Join us again
for a time of Bible study. God bless
