Greet days. The Christian Corner Ministries greets you in the
name of Jesus. We are delighted that you have joined us.
We pray that the worship and biblical teaching would help
and encourage you. Now, the next voice you will hear
is our own pastor Caleb Santos.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Well, Praise God, Praise God, Praise God. That's the introduction
that I was blessed to have a man Praise God.
And I thank God that God really supplied that need
through Ai. And I didn't have to do the introduction,
so I hope it came out all right. It seems
like it's a real person. It's a person by the
(00:48):
name of Tom, but it's Ai. But anyway, we're going
to talk about today's podcast. Why am I coming back
to podcasting Because the Lord, I believe, had it in
my heart to come back. He showed me that I
needed to come back to podcasting and I want to
be obedient. And here I am starting a new program,
(01:12):
a new series. I don't know how long it'll be
I'll be on the air, but I'll try to be
as long as the Lord wants me to. Amen. But
today's message, we're going to talk about is stay the course.
Stay the course, and before we do anything, let's pray.
Let's have a word of prayer their heavenly Father. I
(01:33):
thank you Lord, because you are a good God. And
I ask you, Lord to give us the spirit of
wisdom and revelation and the knowledge of Him, the eyes
of our understanding being enlightened. Help us to understand your word,
help us to take a hold of your word. In
(01:53):
the name of Jesus. Amen and Amen. Let's look at
first Kings twenty six. And this is what I would
call the unknown Prophet. You know, in life and history
war history, we have a story about the unknown soldier
(02:15):
and he's buried, I believe somewhere in some veteran cemetery.
But he's the unknown Soldier. Well, this is the unknown Prophet.
And let's look at first Kings thirteen twenty six. And
this is King James version. And when the prophet that
brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said,
(02:36):
it is the man of God who was disobedient unto
the word of the Lord. Therefore the Lord had delivered
him unto the lion which has torn him and slain him.
According to the word of the Lord, which he spacked
onto him. Amen. Now this prophet he started off right,
(02:59):
he started off on the right path, but he got
deviated by distractions, by people being placed in his life,
by just not following the things of God. And we
have to be very careful. And I know that people say, well,
this is an age of grace, grace, grace, grace, and
(03:21):
I think we over emphasize grace to the point that
we don't understand that God is also a god to
be feared, and he's a god of judgment too. And
one example, as Anonysi Saphirah, that happened during the New
Testament Church. They will call to the carpet Peter had
a word of what they were doing, and they got judged. Yes,
(03:46):
they had a time that they could have they had
a brief time that they're could have said, Lord, forgive us,
and I'm pretty sure that judgment would have been stayed,
but they got struck dead. Boom right there. Let me
tell you we have to be very careful when following
in the ways of the Lord. Let me give you
another scripture here that will put the point home, and
(04:11):
that'll kind of center us to what I'm trying to say. Amen,
and let's look at Romans chapter twelve, verse two. Romans,
chapter twelve, verse two, it says, and be not conformed
to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing
of your mind, that ye may prove what is that
good and acceptable and perfect will of God. See, there's
(04:35):
two things you got to realize, my brothers and sisters.
There's the permissive will of God, and there's the perfect
will of God. Moses stayed in the permissive will of God.
If you study Scripture and Exodus, Moses got into an
argument with the Lord because he felt inadequate. Maybe he
(04:58):
had a stuttering problem, maybe he couldn't express himself. So
he was arguing with the Lord, and the Lord was
was tired of his arguing, so he raised up Aaron
to be his spokesperson. But that was not God's perfect
will because what happened was who did the people look
(05:19):
to when Moses went up to the mountain to seek
the face of God. They looked unto Aaron. And Aaron
was one person that was as a person that was
like a secondary, like a supportive leader. But he didn't
have that leadership that Moses had, you know, putting his
foot down. He was he was a supportive leader, but
(05:41):
he didn't have that leadership to put his foot down,
and he got persuaded. He got he got persuaded by
the people. He got pressured by the people, and what
happened brought judgment onto unto the Israelis. And by the
grace of God, Aaron wasn't judge. But let me tell you,
when you walk in the permissive will of God, there's consequences.
(06:05):
I remember one time when I was hearing the life
of Kenneth Hagen. Kenneth Hagen is a good, great man
of God. He tells the story of how he got
away from the perfect will of God. The Lord had
raised him up to be a prophet, but he wanted
to keep on teaching and he heartened his heart. And
(06:26):
then he had an accident and broke his risk. And
when he went to the Lord and asked why he
was having so much trouble with his risk, the Lord
showed him that it was because he got debated. He
got sidetracked, and he stayed in God's permissive will. God
would allow you to stay in his permissive will for
a season, but then comes to judgment. And in this
(06:49):
case of the prophet, it was almost instantaneous what happened
to this prophet? And that's why let me tell you,
my brothers and sisters, it is essential, especially in this
year and in the coming years, to be renewed in
your mind. Let's read Romans twelve two again. It says,
(07:09):
be not conformed to this world? How many people Christians
are being conformed to this world? How many people are
listening to CNN, to Fox News, to Newsmax and they're
getting conformed to a certain mindset. And that's why you
have to do your homework, amen. And there's so much deception.
The Bible says that the delusion will be so much
(07:30):
so that if it was possible, even the elect will
be deceived. And that's why we have to be very
very discerning, very very careful the news that we see
a man it says here, but be ye transformed by
the renewing of your mind. Why is this so essential?
And I apologize for that background noise. Why is so
(07:53):
essential that for your mind to be renewed, Because when
your mind is renewed may prove what is that good
and acceptable and perfect will of God. You'll be able
to discern truth from error. And in this day and time.
We need to discern truth from error. I've never seen
so much delusion where people think they're more than two genders,
(08:17):
so much delusion. No, I don't mean to be political,
and this goes beyond being political, speaking the truth. People
are so deluded, so deceived, and it's like the enemy
has put a veil upon their eyes. And let me
tell you, we need to be careful because if you
don't think you can be deceived, you're deceived already. Any
(08:38):
one of us can be deceived. And that's why it's important.
It's very vital for you to have the mind of Christ,
to be renewed in the spirit of your mind. And
that's what happened with this prophet, with this young prophet.
Let's look at First Kings, chapter thirteen, and this young
prophet was used in a powerful way. Let's look at
(09:02):
the background of this prophet. Here, the unknown prophet. And
I'm going to try to read a simple version because
the King James has the d's and dolls, and I
like the King James, but I like to read a
simple version for the sake of understanding. Here, okay, one
King thirteen, I'm going to read from the Living Bible.
It says, as joy Bone approached the altar to burn
(09:23):
incense to the golden calf Idol, a prophet of the
Lord from Judah. This is the unknown Prophet walked up
to him. Then, at the Lord's command, the prophet shouted,
o altar. The Lord says that a child named Josiah
shall be born into the family line of David, and
he shall sacrifice upon you the priests from the shrines
(09:45):
on the hills who came here to burn incense, and
men's bones shall be burned upon you. Then he gave
this proof that his message was from the Lord. This
altar will split apart, and the ashes on it will
spill to the The king was very angry with the
prophet for saying this. He shouted to his guards arrest
(10:06):
that man, and he shook his fist at him. Instantly,
the king's arm became paralyzed. In that position, he couldn't
pull it back again. At the same moment, a white
crack appeared in the altar and the ashes poured out,
just as the prophet had said. What happened, for this
was the prophet's proof that God has been speaking through him.
(10:29):
Let me tell you your words have power yesterday when
I was going to church, it looks like there was
some nasty clouds forming, and my wife was saying, they're
predicting thunderstorms. And I used the power of the word.
I started to speak to the skies, and let me
tell you, as God is my witness, there was there
(10:52):
was no rain falling. And I came back and it
turned sunny. Let me tell you, God, when the power
of God is a upon you, you could prophesie to
the elements. You could propheside unto governmental figures. You could
prophesie unto the circumstances. That's why, don't deviate, don't stray
away from the Lord. Renew your mind. See the victory.
(11:17):
You've got to see the victory, see the Lord's purpose
in your mind. Well, I see that my time has
been I don't want to take too long. I just
wanted to share some thoughts about this subject. Amen, Praise God,
because let me tell you, there's a lot of material
I have to give. And like I say, you, like
(11:37):
I said, time is so short, is so short, so short.
So we're going to be we're gonna be continuing our
study tomorrow. So be blessed and know that you have
the mind of Christ running us.
Speaker 1 (11:52):
