Speaker 1 (00:00):
Greetings. The Christian Corner Ministries greets you. In the name
of Jesus. We are delighted that you have joined us.
We pray that the worship and biblical teaching would help
and encourage you. Now, the next voice you will hear
is our own Pastor Cale Santosos.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Pastor Caleb Santos, We're going to talk about the Helm
of his garment, the Hem of His garment, and we're
going to see the importance that of touching in faith, Amen,
and believing God for healing. We're going to see a
couple of interesting things the background about the Hem of

(00:49):
jesus garment and how it applies to us. So I'm
very excited about this Bible study. But let me share
a couple of verses here with you. Let's go for
a few fourteen thirty four thirty six. And when they
were gone over, they came into the land of Ganazareth.
And when the men of that place had knowledge of him,

(01:09):
they sent out into all that country roundabout, and brought
unto him all that were diseased, and besought him that
they might only touch the hem of his garment. And
as many as touched were made perfectly whole. So we
see that the women with the issue of blood was
not the only one that touched the hem of his garment.

(01:31):
There were many others that were crowding their way to
touch the hem of his garment, the hem of Jesus
garment Mark six fifty six. And whensoever he entered into
villages of cities or his country, they laid the sick
in the streets and besought him that they might touch
if it were but the border of his garment. And

(01:53):
as many as touched him were made whole. Now we
all know about the women with the issue of blood.
She touched the hem of Jesus garment. And if you
don't are not familiar with uh, the Jewish history of
the of the garments they used to wear. They used
to have different garments than. One of the garments they

(02:14):
used to have is the talite, which is the prayer garment.
It was just not any other garment. It was the talite,
and it was it had some special characteristics. Well you're
gonna analyze in a few minutes. And the talite was special.
And let me tell you a lot of people had
just by touching the talite of Jesus, they they got healed. Amen.

(02:37):
And I personally have a talite that I use when
sometimes I pray, and it's it's it's wonderful to have
a talite in prayer because it makes you aware of
the closeness of God in your life. It's not necessary
to have a talite, but I have it personally because
it's a It's a good way for me to remind

(02:57):
myself or who am I? Who am connected to? Okay,
and I want to do. I want to share some
background teaching on the hem of Jesus garment and several
New Testament healing accounts individuals were healed simply by touching
the fringe of Jesus garment. Matthew, Mark, and Luke All

(03:19):
describes a woman in afflicted with a flow of blood
who with great faith, touched the hem of the I'm scary,
the edge of his throat of his robe and was
instantly healed. It touched the woman touched the edge of
his robe and was instantly healed. Crowd followed. Crowds followed

(03:39):
this example, believing that even brief encounter with Jesus clothing
could bring restoration. Matthew tells us that as many as
touched that were made well, underscoring the profound impact of
this gesture. These miracles were not random. They carried deep,
spiritual and symbolic meaning rooted in Jesus and Jesus in

(04:00):
Jewish tradition. Amen, now notice here that when you think
about the hem of Jesus' garment, when Jesus said, who
touched me? The disciples they didn't know who touched Jesus.
A lot of people were touching him just to get
that experience, just to get that annoying, just to see

(04:21):
if there was any ray of light that manifested in
their hands. But Jesus saw that the touch of the
woman of the of the garment that touched the hem
of his garment was a special touch. It was a
touch of faith, and noticed that he did in scripture.
In fact, let's look at Mark five twenty twenty five

(04:44):
through thirty four. I'm going to read a couple of highlights.
And a certain women which had initial blood twelve years
and had suffered many things of many physicians that spent
all that she had was nothing better, but Radic grew
worse when she had heard of Jesus came in the
press behind and touched it garment for she said, if
I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

(05:04):
And straightway, the fountain of her blood was dried up,
and she felt in her body that she was healed
of that plague. And Jesus, immediately, knowing in himself that
virtue had gotten out of him, turned him about in
the present, said, who touched my clothes? And his disciples said,
unto him, thou seest the multitude trying in deep, and
sayest thou will touched me. And he looked round about
to see her that had done this thing. But the woman,

(05:26):
fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came
and fell down before him and told them all the truth.
And he sat unto her. Daughter, thy favor has made
THEE whole. Go in peace, and behold of thy plague.
That's from Mark five twenty five through thirty four. Now
notice here says he didn't say God has healed you.

(05:47):
He could have said that it was God that healed her.
He didn't say it was my will that you be healed.
He said, daughter, thy faith, thy faith has made THEE hold.
So my question to you is what are you doing
with your faith? Amen? Because the Lord looks at your faith?

(06:09):
Are you developing that faith of yours? When you touch
and agree? Are you? Are you developing it? And do
you see yourself healed? Do you see yourself being made whole?
Do you see yourself completely delivered? Amen? Let's continue with
the helm of Jesus garment. Now, let's look at and

(06:29):
I'm reading some of this information that I gathered, and
I kind of put it in my own words. In
numbers fifteen thirty seven through forty one, God commands to
Israelized to attach the tassos with blue cords to their
garments as reminders of their covenant with Him and agent culture.
The corner of a garment was not mayor fabric. It

(06:52):
symbolized personal identity and authority. That is why Ruth asked
Boaz to spread his garment over her, signifying protection and union.
The Hebrew word used here also means wing, adding a
symbolic double layer to the gesture. The importance of garment
corners carries through Jewish prophetic literature. In Ezekiu sixteen eight,

(07:17):
God spreads the corner of his garment over Israel, establishing
covenantal identity. David's remorse after cutting Salt's robin for Samuel
twenty four or five shows an awareness violating royal symbolism.
Even more striking is Malachi four two, which prophesies healing
in the wings of the Messiah, a word that also

(07:40):
means garment corners. This prophecy suggests that Jesus, the Son
of Righteousness, will bring spiritual healing through his very presence
and identity symbolized by his attire. Notice here he would
bring spiritual healing through his very presence and identity symbolized
by his attire. Understanding this connection shed slights on white

(08:02):
people in Jesus' name reach for his garment fringe not
from superstition, but from biblical expectation. Pharisees wore conspicuous tassels
to display holiness, but Jesus' attire carried through true divine authority.
When somebody or someone touched his garment, they were not

(08:22):
just hoping for healing, They were expressing deep faith in
the Messiah and aligning themselves with God's covenment. Governant Jesus
affirmed this, saying to the women healed of her affliction,
your faith has made you whole again. He credits her
faith today believers may no longer grasp the theological weight

(08:43):
of garment fringinges, but understanding their biblical content enhances our
appreciation of the Gospel narratives. The act of touching jesus
garment was a visible declaration of trust, identity, and dependence
on divine mercy. Just as healing flow to those who
reached it faith, we too can experience renewal by identifying

(09:06):
with Christ, not through ritual or fabric, but through spiritual
alignment and belief in His power. And these stories remind
us that true healing begins with wholehearted faith. So that's
why it's important, my brothers and sisters, that aside from
the significance of Jesus' helm of his garment, which symbolizes healing,

(09:26):
which symbolizes authority, which civilizes covenant, we need to also
notice that we have a responsibility to develop our faith.
Faith is the currency in heaven. Amen, And the Lord
looks at your faith. Amen. That's why it's important to
develop your faith. See, faith makes a demand upon the

(09:48):
power of God. Let me say this again. Faith makes
a demand upon the power of God. Now that doesn't
mean I'm not saying this in a disrespectful way. It's
like when you have a check, you write a check,
you're making a demand upon the bank to pay that check.
So when you are using your faith, you are making

(10:09):
a demand upon the power of God to flow on
your behalf. Amen. It's a transaction. It's just like a transaction.
It's not a disrespectful thing. It's a it's a transaction.
God looks at your faith. Faith is the currency of heaven.
Faith makes a demand upon God's power. Amen. And we

(10:31):
need to understand that we as Christians need to get
back to faith. Amen. The Bible says that in the
last days some sort of depart from the faith, and
we're seeing a departure of faith somewhat in a in
a real negative way. People are departing from the faith
and starting to think that this prosperity thing is nothing

(10:52):
more than greed and and all that and and and
you say prosperity, immediately you're you're associated with a heresy
and going to hell. No. No, let me tell you.
God wants us to be prosperous, not only in finances,
but in all areas of our lives. Amen. And prosperity
is God's will. He's the lights in the prosperity of

(11:13):
His servants. Amen, So praise the Lord. I wanted to
just share these things with you to understand the importance
of the Helm of His garment and the necessity of
having your faith developed and to walk in the identity
of Jesus Christ. Don't let the enemy deceive you and
get you out of faith. Stay firm, and the world

(11:36):
start start brushing up these books that talk about faith,
These books that talk about prosperity their biblical base, and
let me tell you time to start using them because
let me tell you, God wants to take us from
glory to glory. So that's it for now. God bless you.
So tune in tomorrow. Happy Tuesday has some things that

(11:59):
came up. So I do apologize for not having the
program today, but God willing, we're going to keep on
keeping on with this podcast. Keep us in prayer, and
we love you and the Lord be blessed.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
