Speaker 1 (00:15):
The name of this fantastic singer songwriter is Barbara Nadas
and it's spelled na Das. Please go to check her out.
She has released a new track called Stay, and indeed
we ask you to stay because we have her with
us today over the phone to talk about who she is.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Barbara, how are you.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
Today, Hey David, thanks for having me, and hello to
the listeners as well. I'm doing great. I couldn't wait
for listener you. So I'm really happy releasing records and
working on the next release already. So I'm doing great.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
Thank you and we are so happy. Thank you so
much for being with us. So I would love to
know more about yourself. Can you tell us where are
you're from and what is your journey so far in music?
Speaker 3 (01:08):
Sure? So, Originally I'm from Hungary, Budapest, and I'm a
singer songwriter and I started actually as a drummer when
I was little kid, and I played the drums in
the teenage band, and then I started to sing in
a cover band. I played in the musical the role
of lamp Chops in film musical in Budapest. And actually
(01:32):
I got into songwriting like six seven years ago, and
I started to write my own songs. And then I
went to the Berkeley's five Weeks Summer course, and that's
when I basically got infacted with American culture and American music.
And since that, I just wanted to write in English
(01:53):
and release English records. And so that's what happened last.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
Year when I released Day and it was a real journey,
I would say, and yeah, and that's that's right now how.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
I ended up like being recording artist.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
Any dear, congratulations for your great path of success. So
now let's talk about your new track Stay, which is in.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
The genre of pop R and B.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
You can already listen to it a little bit, So
tell us about that trick.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
What was the process, what is the story?
Speaker 3 (02:30):
So the story about it, actually it has a deep story.
Even though the song is very I would say catchy
and a happy song. I lost my father when I
was eighteen and I needed something like fixed points in
my life that kept me going. And this song is
(02:52):
about what remained in my life and who I am
as a person, even though this was a live shifting
moment in my life. So this song is about that
I remained the same. I remained a little bit blonde
a songwriter. So yeah, and I want to continue with that.
(03:16):
And so it's like a motivational songs that that regardless
of what happens in your life, people like come and
go and things happen, good and bad things, you just
stay here because you have a rasor you have a
reason that you're here on this earth, I believe. So
that's the story about this track.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
And indeed it's a it's a beautiful story and a
beautiful track and we're so glad to feature it today.
Stay with the one and only Barbara Nadas. Barbara Nadas, So.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Before we start to say goodbye to each other, what
is next for you? What are your next projects?
Speaker 3 (03:57):
My next upcoming song is called Maxico, and it's about
a break up situation when a girl tries to come
after my man, and so the song is about just
letting her do her thing and living to Mexico so
it's like a modern Johnline, I would say so, and
(04:21):
it will be released in September.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Actually, well, would be, would be really always there to
support you. Who are you? Your music influences, the artists
who have inspired you.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
The most, Like my biggest idol is Amy Winehouse. Definitely
I love Eric Klapton and a lot of other artists
like Duellipa, Lady Goga and just like the list could
go on forever and ever.
Speaker 2 (04:54):

I would tell you. And m right is that?
