Ladies and gentlemen, Good afternoon, Welcome on the Culture News.
My name is David Seiro and I have the pleasure
to have today on iHeartRadio and the Culture News, but
also many other platform We are now nearly one hundred platforms.
Can you believe? We are so excited to reach a
new audience every day. This is a dream come true.

(00:22):
We are so glad to have once again wonderful, wonderful artists.
But you know, it's never too much. It's never too
much because we love the autists and we definitely support
these artists. The name of this autist is called Boy
Destiny's in one word, Boy Destiny with the capitol O

(00:42):
capital N. He is also known as Michael Thornton, a wonderful,
wonderful music audist, and he has released a new track
called I Need Your Loving Radio Edit exactly. This is
why this song is to be on radio Need Your
Loving Radio Edit. We're so glad to have him. If

(01:04):
you recall, we had him back in early July and
the show was very successful. We're very glad to have
him again today. This is a Boy Destiny on the
Culture News. How are you today, sir?

Speaker 2 (01:19):
How are you? I'm doing well.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
It's really a pleasure to be here again and have
an opportunity to speak with you.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Oh man, so the pleasure is mine. So can you
please for the people who were not lucky to listen
to the show. And by the way, you guys can
check out the previous show, can you please remind us
who you are and how did you start music and
what have you done so far?

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Well, I started music at a very young age. Essentially,
I was learning stuff in grade school and elementary school
and high school. By the time I got to high
school and college, I started working with local groups in
the Philadelphia area, including one known as Pieces of a Dream,
a very well renowned type of smooth jazz group, and
I play with them. About ten years subsequent to that,

(02:08):
I started doing other kinds of music on my own,
writing some music outside of the smooth jazz genre, which
I had published about fifty different songs in that genre.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
I started to.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Delve into and investigate genres like R and B and
hip hop and started writing songs like that. So by
two thousand and eight I had released a couple CDs
with that kind of music.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
And he did it's been nothing but successful. So now
let's fast forward to your new track. We love it
absolutely great. I need your Loving Radio, edd, So tell
us about the song and also how this title came out.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
The song tells the story of a man captivated by
an enchanting female stranger that he chance encounters that a
private dance scale. This woman is a luminous beauty whose
grace leaves him breathless and wanton. As the two strangers

(03:10):
he and she throw caution to the wind and begin
to tangle romantically. This he whispers into hear her, I
need your love. So that's kind of the setup, the
theatrical setup for the song. And as you listen to
the words of the song, he's kind of confessing that

(03:32):
to this this woman that he's chance encountered at this
dance scala.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
He keeps on telling her, I need your love. I
need your love. Will you acquiesce?

Speaker 2 (03:43):
So if that, if that gives you a little bit
of an idea about how the song arose.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
And it's a beautiful song once again, and we love
the concept, if I may call it of it, I
need your loving radio idiots, so you want to get
a lot of radio attraction hopefully with that.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Right, I'm hoping, so I put it out there. I've
gotten some responses already from some of the independent radio
stations that have contacted me so far.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
One is called Have a Blast Radio.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
They've already started playing it. And there's another one KSCR,
which is an internet radio station. They've started playing it.
So we'll just see, you know, I've put it out there.
I'm hopeful that will take place. The actual official release
date is the twentieth of November, which is tomorrow. I
did it a little bit earlier than you know. We

(04:39):
usually have the New Music Friday, but you know, everybody's
releasing music on New Music Friday, so I tried to
kind of beat them to it. So I have released
new Music Thursday, so it's already out there by Thursday,
and it's been sent to radio early so that if
they want to play it on New Music Friday Tomorrow Friday,

(05:00):
they can because it will be new, relatively new. It
comes out Thursday, it's definitely still new Friday.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
And yeah, and let me tell you with you, it's
it's a good day every day to listen to your music.
This is BOYD Destiny. We really really love this audience.
So before we start to play your great music. What
are your next project? What is going on for you?

(05:28):
What is next?

Speaker 2 (05:30):
I am very busy, very busy. If you could see
in the room I'm in right now, my room and
my Billiard's room is filled with video equipment because I
have a huge project. On December fourteenth, I'm doing a
music video where I need your loving an official music video,

(05:52):
and we're going to be filming in Miami at the
Art Vivo Dance Studio, and we're also going to be
filming at the PBR cow Boy Bar in Miami at
the Dolphin Mall, and it's just going to be an
amazing experience. I've already hired the dancers and I'm working
together now on the storyboard so that when we get
there we can just cut the scenes and shoot all

(06:13):
the video scenes. So that's really the biggest thing going
on right now. Next year, I'll be working on some
smooth jazz. As you know, my background with Pieces of
a Dream is a lot of smooth jazz, So I'm
going to try to put out some kind of smooth
jazz songs as well, maybe not under the same artist
name since it's a completely different genre, but that's some

(06:34):
of my plans for the upcoming season.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Well, we love smooth jazz.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
There used to be so much smooth jazz in the
early two thousands, and I remember back in the day
there was so many radios and now you know, I
hear less and least I'm a little bit sad about it.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
So you're more of smooth jazz because that's the natural
evolution of jazz music. And my funny Valentine back then
is today Isn't She Lovely? By Stevie Wonder, you know
what I mean? So yeah, it's really music that we need.

(07:13):
And this is how this music stay alive. It's through reprise,
you know, through covers. So we really really need some
smooth jazz. So please continue doing that, doing your beautiful music.
And this I mean, if you want to make out
with a woman, you put smooth jazz. You know she

(07:33):
already loves you, you know what I mean. That's that's
to listen to. Yes, yes, sir, we love that. We
love that. So anything before we say goodbye to each other,
anything you want to add, anything you want.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
To say, well, just this November twenty, I need your
lovings out there. It's going to be on Spotify, Apple, everywhere,
I'm also putting it on band Camp and SoundCloud for
the dj is to get a hold of it, maybe
play it in the in the club. So if you're
if you're listening to the show, take a visit to
your Spotify or whatever your your digital service provider is,

(08:09):
