rock music. They have released a new song called I'm
Not the One and yes they are the one. The

(00:22):
name of this band is called A Bunch of A's
Bunch of Ace ace spelled ac. Of course we are
going to know more about them, who are they, what
they're doing, But we are today with.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
The two members of this extraordinary band. How are you today?

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Hello?

Speaker 3 (00:45):
We are doing great, wonderful.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
So I just would like to say because you are both.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
I believe sixteen right, yes, okay, So I asked to
have your father to be with you.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Is the father here?

Speaker 4 (01:02):
Yes, I'm here.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Hello, Thank you so much for being here with us.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
So I would love to ask to both of you
if you could introduce yourself, tell us your name, and
also how did you start music?

Speaker 5 (01:16):
So I'm Alandra and I'm playing guitar and I did
the lead vocals in our band. And yeah, we started
playing our instruments very early. I'd say we were about
six or seven years old. And yeah, around three years
ago we founded our band. But since one year we're

(01:38):
really professionally active and we write songs and post them
and everything. That's since one year. I think, yeah, yeah,
and I'm alas Yeah, I'll play the drums on the back,
I do the back vocals.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
That's rudful. And how did you meet each other?

Speaker 1 (01:57):
I know that's there's a little joke I always say, like,
how did you meet your parents?

Speaker 2 (02:03):
You know it's another So where are you both from?

Speaker 5 (02:08):
We're from Germany.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
That's a beautiful country in any city in particular, so
we are.

Speaker 5 (02:16):
Living in the country, in the countryside. So yeah, and
it's between Hanover and Hamburg. These are the nearest big cities.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
You know, beautiful. We say hello to all the German people.
So who are your music influences? Like the artists who
have inspired you a lot to be to be yourself
in a way.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
Our influences are quite yeah, white, I would say, because
for example, I like to listen to like really deep blues,
like you know, Buddy Guy or something like that. But
I also love like the modern pop music, you know,
the classics like Taylorsburth or Billie Eilish. So I'd say
that we have really lots of different influences, and I

(03:03):
think you can notice that in our songs although we
are pop rock or sometimes even just more like pop
indie pop, and you can notice that there are sometimes
some influence from somewhere else, like country music or even blues.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
And that that that's indeed you, you cited very wonderful,
wonderful artist. So now let's talk about your new track,
which we are going to play at the end of
this interview.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
The name of this new song is I'm Not the One?
Can You tell us?

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Of course, the song is available on Spotify, Apor Music, YouTube,
et cetera.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
But how that song was created? What is I shall say,
the story of that song.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
So the writing process was actually like always, you know,
we someone has an idea and then we would sit together. Yeah,
we get get together and then start jamming. And when
we wrote the lyrics, we had somehow in mind that
the story should be about a woman who's choosing to

(04:11):
move on and not to dwell on what's gone, and
it should this song should be kind of encouraging that
you should, you know, move on and embracing what comes
next and not to be so so caught up in
the past.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
I love that you guys complete each other and you
guys complete each other phrases. That's really beautiful to see.
So what is next for you? What are you doing next?
Do you have some concerts? Do you have more songs
on the way?

Speaker 5 (04:43):
Yes, there are more songs on the way. Right now,
we are working on a German album where are we
saying German? And of course we're also working on more
English songs to complete our album No Trouble.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
Our next release is going to be our song Sweet
sixteen that is going to be released on September fifth. Yeah, yeah,
on September fifth. Okay, I'm a little bit nervous, that's
why i'm yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
No, no, no, no, no, please, w you're doing Listen, you're doing
much better than me because I've been speaking English for
more years than you, and you're doing much better than me.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
So I want to know how come you speak much
better than me? You know? No, you have on September fifth,
then you some what else you have going on? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (05:40):
So we're playing live a bit, but it's just local
because we're still in school and we have a lot
of work there as well, so we cannot do any
big tours or something like that. And also we're still
looking for a bassist because right now it's just the
two of us and we play with backing tracks and
that goes really well. But it would be just, you know,

(06:03):
nice to have some more people.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
On stage exactly. And how is it to play together
as sisters?

Speaker 2 (06:11):
You know, to have you know, obviously your family, you
know each other forever, So how high is it to
play together?

Speaker 5 (06:21):
Why? She it's easy because I know what she wants
and she knows what I want, so it's fun most
of the times.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Yeah, that's good. That's good.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
So let me speak with the father a little bit.
What do you think of having your daughter to play music?
How does it feel for you?

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Okay, we are very happy about what they're doing. We
had the rule that when in school, everything is fine,
and with both everything is fine. They can choose what
they want to do, and sure, it's a decision to
make music. But I have a lot of friends who
are professional musicians, so it was easy to find people

(07:02):
teaching them. Okay, maybe this is the reason because the
teachers are all on professional level that they are so
far with sixteen and okay, they can go on and
do as long. School is fine. And in the moment
it looks everything looks very good.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Well, you know, both of you can be really happy
because to have a father who supports you in music,
that's really extraordinary. Parents who support you is really extraordinary.
So we are so glad, ladies and gentlemen. My name
is David Seibra, had the pleasure to have today on
iheartworking on the culture news the musician band the Bunch

(07:44):
of As, A Bunch of A's that you can follow
them on Instagram and out the platform A Bunch of As.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
They have released this new.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
Track which you are now listening as we speak. And
this new track is called I Am Not the One.
