Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ladies and gentlemen, Good afternoon, Welcome on the Copture News.
My name is David Siro and I have the pleasure
to have today on iHeart with you over the phone
a wonderful, wonderful artist named Lucino. Let me spell it
for you. It's l u c Hi n or Lucino.
He is a wonderful, wonderful artist is going to tell

(00:21):
us all about who he is. He has released a wonderful,
wonderful new track called State of Mind, and I hope
you would be in the right state of mind to
listen to this great track because that track will do
the job for sure. Right now, we're so lucky to
have over the phone Lucino Luccino. How are you today,

(00:42):
Hi David, I'm good. How are you? I'm doing amazing.
Thank you so much for being with us. So I
would love to know who are you, where are you
from and how did you start music?

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Of course, I'm I'm Luchino. I'm from Amsterdam. I was
born and raised here and I've loved music my entire life.
Ever since I was your I was always listening to
songs and I would love the lyrics and actually at
a young age, I started writing the songs, and then
later in life, I started recording, and now I finally
thought it's the right moment to release all the songs

(01:13):
I made. So I'm starting with state of Mind, which
is a song that I wrote a hour ago when
I was in the train after I recently broke up
with an ex girlfriend of mine. And it was that
moment after a relationship where you're feeling very vulnerable and
you're kind of reflecting back on the relationship, thinking about
things you could have done better, and yeah, they kind

(01:35):
of like maybe wanting to come back, but on the
other hand, also not wanting to come back. That kind
of state of mind. We kind of feel a little
bit vulnerable after the relationship. That's what my song is
mainly about.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
And yeah, and you know, the good things with breakups
is that they give us a good opportunity to write
beautiful songs.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
You know, exactly exactly. It's a perfect to write a
good song and to reflect. We have to look at
the right side of it, you know. So who are
your your your influences, who are your artists, your favorite artists.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
What my favorite artists are I would say definitely Justin Bieber.
I think He's an amazing artist, and I love the
way he's writing songs, also the vulnerability he has in
his songs and vocally, I think he's also the terrific person.
And I also like the Kidderoy a lot. I think
his songs are also very cool. And Tracy Chapman for sure.

(02:30):
I think one of my favorite songs is definitely Fastcar.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Well, you're you're listening to the best, so you can
now go wrong. You know that's ebsfinitely, So now you
know fast forwarding to these great new track of yours
state of mind? So what was the process of making
that that song?

Speaker 2 (02:54):
But the process was first I started with the writing actually,
so I wrote the whole song. And then as I
was looking together with the producer who I worked with,
and I showed him the lyrics I wrote, and I said,
can we make a beat that matches this? So we
were looking around and we drew inspiration from using the
nice guitars, and that's kind of how everything went. And

(03:14):
then we started recording it and then now we released
it basically.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
And we are definitely here to play your music. So
how did you start music? By the way, like, what
was what gave you the desire to do your own
music and to be a performer.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
I just love creating. That's the reason I just love
creating music. I really love music, especially pop music, and
I love the writing part. So yeah, I actually have
always wanted to create music. And I wrote a few
songs and this is the first one I just released.
Actually I have a few more which I prepared for
the coming months that I'm going to release, but this

(03:53):
was like one I really wanted to release first, and.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
We definitely would be there for you. So before out
to say goodbye to each other and we start to
play your beautiful music state of mind, do you have
any live performances coming up? Not yet, Not yet.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
We don't have any live performances coming up yet, but
as soon as we will, will definitely.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Announce that. Well, we will be there also to applaud
you and again to support you for that. So before
we start to say goodbye, what are your next projects?

Speaker 2 (04:32):
My next project is its Care. I'm going to release
over one or two months. It's basically also a love song.
It's about also it's about trying to get back together
with your love and improving in life, and basically that
kind of aspect and Yeah, I think it's going to
be released in one or two months approximately, so we're

(04:52):
checking out with the planning. But yeah, that's that's my
next song, which we're.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Going to do, okay, And what the next song talks about.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
It talks about also after a breakup, but then talking
about wanting to get back together. So basically the improvement
that comes after when you break up and you reflect
and you're like, maybe I could learn these things better,
So you're trying to improve as a person and trying
to make it work.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Yeah, that is beautiful one. And we'll be there again
and repeat myself, but we'll be there definitely to support
your great song. So Luccina where it's from, it's Italian,
it's Italian. Yeah, and you so you're background of Italian.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
I'm Dutch. Actually my mother chose the name. I'm not Italian,
but my mother she she loved the name so much
that she gave me an Italian name.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Well that's beautiful, we said regards. Of course, we love
this name, We love your music and this is a great,
great new track to definitely play. Ladies. My name is David.
So we had the pleasure to have to don't I
had with you on the Colture News. A wonderful, wonderful
artist from the Netherlands, Amsterdam. We said to our friends there,

(06:01):
the name of this artist is Lucino Luccino again is
spelled l uc Hi n O Luccino. You can say Lucino,
but it's better Lucino. And he has released a great
new track called state of Mind that don't forget to stream,
to purchase and to follow Lucino on social media into

(06:24):

right now. It's plain state of Mind. It's coming up
