My name is David S. Weir Row, and I have
the pleasure to have today on iHeart Radio, on the
Culture News and many of the platform an absolutely wonderful
music artist. His name is Danny Lee, Danny Leeds d

(00:21):
a double Ny and Lee. It's Lublee, a wonderful music artist.
We are so glad to have today on iHeart Radio.
Of course you have heard about him, and guess what,
we are going to know more of him and of
his beautiful, beautiful music, which we're going to have the
pleasure to play right at the end of these interviews.

(00:42):
So don't go anywhere, because right now he's with us. Danny,
how are you today.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Oh David, I'm absolutely great, Such an absolute pleasure to
be with you. Such a fan of your show. It's
great to talk.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Well. That means a lot, Thank you, brother, I really
appreciate that. So the question I would love to know
more about yourself? Can you tell me where are you
from and how did you start music in the first place?

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Yeah, thank you, such a great question. I was born
and raised in southern California, and you know, did a
lot of music as a kid, and had some great
experience with a lot of great bands along the way
as a lead vocalist, and and just felt that some
of these campaigns and causes really required my full effort,

(01:30):
and as a solo artist, I was really able to
do that. So my exposure has been in some classical
realms as well as just some great bands that did
some great rock and roll and and a lot of
alternative music as well. That that has gotten me to
where I am right now.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
And indeed, what a beautiful journey with your music. Who
are your your music influences, the artists who have inspired
you the most?

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Oh wow, that is another great question. Well all the
way back to you know when rock and roll incepted.
You know, you have such great bands, I you know,
Zeppelin and UH and and Rush and UH just amazing,
you know, artists like Eric Clapton and UH, just so
many people all the way through the eighties, nineties and today.

(02:21):
You know, I love the Weekend, I love all your
alternative realms that are going out there right now. So
I've had really a lot of influence along the way,
and and and really had an affinity for alternative and
and rock and roll and and just an absolute love
for you know, really any artists that goes out there

(02:43):
and and really puts their heart and soul into it.
You know, you can feel it. It resonates and and
that's what's really important when I when I do listen
to music.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
And indeed you connect to all these uh these artists
for sure. So now about your music, can you please
tell me what are your most recent songs and the
recent music that you have released.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Yeah, some of my most recent tracks. One that is
really I'm really proud of that it has a really
big cause behind it is the Ukraine is so strong
music and the song that I recently released that is
in all of your stories now and can be accessed

(03:29):
to anybody out there. But it's been brought on just
you know, by the atrocities and the things that have
been going on in that area of the world, and
just as a witness like all the rest of us,
and somebody that watches and sees things that are going on,
you know, on a daily basis. Now for years, I

(03:49):
just felt really motivated to put together and voice and
air and share you know, something that was really invoking
me when I watched it, and I just felt like
someone needed to really step up and make that song.
So that's been a really important song that I've done.
Ukraine is so strong. And then I've recently had just
two other songs that are going to go towards an

(04:10):
LP shortly. One is to Bring Us Astrayos, which is
an homage to the Spanish community. It's a love song.
And then a more rock and roll song, on My
Way to La, which is just a just let it out,
have fun and let lose kind of rock and roll song.
So but my primary one right now, because of all
the current concerns, has really certainly been Ukraine is so strong.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
And Yeah, indeed, what a beautiful message I want to
say to everyone that you can go on Danny Lee
that Org. That's his website Danny Lee that Org and
you can see all the links to purchase to stream
his music. His last we say three biggest songs that

(04:58):
Ukraine is so strong, On My Way to La and
to Brias Estraias. I hope I say it.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Well, it perfect, perfect love. It means a lot to me.
I really appreciate that you listen to it and it
resonated with you, and I hope it resonates with your listeners.
I know you have amazing listeners out there, so I
really do because you know, we're all human beings, we're
all in this together, and I really hope that that
it really taps into people and they really feel what

(05:25):
it means.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Yeah, no, I'm sure they do, and they will because
it's a really, really beautiful song and I love that
you are also donating some proceeds of that song to
Ukrainian causes, So really gablets you for that, and it's
all very beautiful. And you can purchase the music on iTunes,

danny Lee that Org. So before we start to say

(06:10):
goodbye to each other, what are your next project? What
is coming up for you? Wow?

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Well, you know, we we have you know, Valentine's Day
around the corner, and you know the world certainly needs
a lot of love and everybody could use a hug nowadays.
So I really would like to focus on putting together
some more music about, you know, just the beauty of
love and things that are that that really make people
feel real good about listening. So I'll be focusing on that,

(06:38):
I think in the first quarter and then uh, and
then go into some great summer music and uh, you know,
surround myself with great people like yourself and just other
great people in the industry, and and and look to
keep sharing a positive message. I really appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
