All Star weekend, I host Brad. We were joining alongside my co hosts
of Fires and lots of talk aboutas we didn't think there would be since
there was not a lot of hockeythis weekend. We didn't know there was

We'll go monag first, Okay,Monahan traded to Winnipeg and Sean Monaghan gets
a first in twenty twenty four anda third and twenty twenty seven. Yeah,
the third in twenty twenty seven turnsinto a first if they win the
Cup this year. Well, ifI was Winnipeg and we won the Cup,

I get him three first You know, no, but this is a
good this is a good move.This is could win the Cup. They

His ceiling is if he pans outright, if everything goes right for hundred

that from the Canucks standpoint. Theycleared five point five million dollars off next

mean, Lindholm is Lindholm is thebiggest fish on the market that you could

go grab. He's the biggest fish. Is he having a bit of a
down year? Yeah, he's havinga bit of a down year. He's

no disrespect. This is no disrespectto Calgary's roster at all. Elias Peterson
is probably one of the best playersthis guy's ever gonna play with? Right?

Would you agree with that? Sohe's gonna join he's gonna join a
power play with Right, No,for sure, pretty equal caliber players.
But now he's gonna be on thenumber one power play with Besser, Hughes,
Miller, Patterson. He's gonna he'sgonna produce for the Canucks. He's

gonna produce big time. And Ilove his versatility. He's he's a very
responsible two way elite center. Twoyears ago he finished second in the Selki
to Patrice Bergeron scored forty two goals. This guy knows how to score.
He just doesn't forget how to score. He's got a The thing with Lindholm
is he's not a play driver.He needs somebody, he needs somebody to
play with him. And he's moreof a you know, I was watching

his highlights and from two years agoand when him and when he was a
chuck and and goodrow. He's aguy that finds the soft areas and capitalizes
on his chances. Peterson is greatat finding guys. Miller's great at finding

handed centerman slash winger for right now. He's playing on the wing right now
with Peterson. But I'm saying,but he's the only right handed centerman on
this roster that can now go outthere and take an important face off on
your strong side. And you don'thave to rely on Miller to take every

you're playing a Colorado in the playoffs. He's a shutdown center. Like he's
a shutdown guy. It gives theteam so much versatility to play matchup roles
now. And I don't know,man, I just I think it's a
great fit. Everybody. Everybody cantalk about, Oh is this a pear
reental? I think they can extendthis guy, think Boud would you rather

Butler Myers has been overpaid for thelast five years in this market. Do
you not think he takes like ayou don't think he takes like a two

you're gonna have to match up withlike McKinnon and chel and McDavid like they

get some softer matchups, take advantageto that thing. They got a lot

Talckett style. And and I hopehe goes to Calgary and pops off.

for a deadline since. I mean, they picked up Tyler to Foley before

been a long dark time for Canucksfans. So to see them being aggressive
and go and get a big fish. What does this mean for Colorado?

on lend Home, they missed outon Monah, Like, what's the next

looked at my Flames a couple ofyears ago and I was like, this

look the best on the ice.I had a group of forwards and I

We looked at Vancouver's roster at thebeginning of this season. I mean
you both thought adequate. Not thatgreat, but adequate. I'm to miss

into this season for them with notmuch expectations, like I was just like,
like, we'll see and nobody,nobody predicted them the first place almost
