Speaker 2 (00:17):
How you doing? I'm good Man good, that's going, not bad,
not bad? Looking forward to the show. Always good to
be on here with you.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Fellas, no doubt, no doubt. Who was good?

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Man?

Speaker 3 (00:29):
What was good? Was good? Another week closer?

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Brother almost dead? Yes, sir, yeah man, yeah, man. It's
good to see y'all's faces. Everybody out there. Thanks y'all
for watching, listening. Go follow us on YouTube, x everywhere,
go to fire Life check us out on the website,

(00:52):
the fire life dot com. We everywhere. Let's get right
to it, man, Al sos. Preseason Week three it always gives.
I always like Week three. I mean, of course, it's
the last preseason game, one one game closer to the

(01:13):
regular season, but we always get to see the backup,
so the starters don't really play much, but you always
get to see the guys trying to fight for roster
spots and make a name for themselves. And you know,
as Mike Tomin would put it two dogs one bone,
you know, but it's always those guys trying to, you know,

(01:35):
showcase their talents and and and prove that they belong.
But in a in a special case to you, Trey
Lance got it exclusive work at quarterback for the Cowboys
in the last preseason game, and it was it was
pretty bad, man. I mean, you ran the ball well,

(01:59):
which is I guess it's good if you think about
the Cowboys need for running backs. But I think it
was thirty three for forty.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Nine three hundred yards.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
He better for fifty.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
I'm just saying, yeah, like scrimmen one.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
That's down and five interceptions, eleven rushers for ninety yards. Yeah.
I have two questions. One is he is he poush
to go into the season as Dak's primary backup?

Speaker 2 (02:37):
No, Okay, while we saw progress in this preseason, I
wouldn't want him as my number two. I think number three.
He's shown enough that I would keep him as my
number three because I saw something there. He's still a

(02:57):
young quarterback. He hasn't played a lot. He is careless
with the ball at times. But in terms of arm talent, definitely, athleticism,
the running I mean, he had like almost a fifty
year run for a touchdown. I would hold on to him,
but I would still keep Cooper rushing good at my back.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
So as far as his future is a starter in
this league, is he cooked? Is he washed?

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Still think it's too early to say, right, because I
think he's the typical young quarterback, not the elite young quarterback,
because there's some elite young quarterbacks who don't do what
I'm about to say, which is are careless with the ball,
and I think some quarterbacks it takes a little longer
for them to really master that concept. He still tries

(03:50):
to force it in a little too much, and so
I think the more he plays, hopefully we won't see
as much as that. But I wouldn't say he's cooked.
I wouldn't say he's washed. I wouldn't say he's but
yet still jury's out, But I still like there's some
potential there. I'm still still right there hold on to.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Him because that's my thing. I guess it's hard to
shake that because if he was a sixth round pick,
we would be talking about this, right, So it's hard
to shake that as a first round pick. But now
as as a former first round pick who's now a
third stringer. It kind of becomes difficult because when do

(04:38):
you get those reps? And so now he's almost got
to wait till next year to get more reps and
he's gonna run out of time. So that's the difficult part.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Pool.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
What do you think Initially when.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
I looked at it, I was like done Cooke bab.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Rising. Yeah, but.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Like I go back and look at it in retrospect, Bro,
that might be his seventh game. Like, he hasn't played games,
he hasn't had reps. He he's been injured, he's been down,
he's been out, So he's really really.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
He has lack of.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Game experience or just experience period. What do he played
eight college games or something crazy like that. Then he
hasn't played games in it. Yeah, he hasn't played games
in the.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
In the NFL.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
He he missed one camp, I think two camps. So
he Bro, he just hasn't played and you can see
he has something there. We just don't know if he's
going to get to exhibit it. You know, like like
to go back on what you said, is Tim may
just run out.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Yeah, because I don't like the only way like that
usually works out is is if one the starter gets
hurt and he gets at least a half a season
showcase what he's got. But if he's the third stringer,
then that's a whole lot of hurt and gotta be
going on.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Or two. No. No, I was just gonna say, I
think Dallas is looking at him as a possible in
terms of how they see him in the league. They're like, Yo,
what if this guy could be our backup to Dak
for the next three, four or five years with not

(06:30):
necessarily looking at him as our starter. But I think
they might have roomed themselves a replacement for Cooper Rush.
That's what I'm looking at. How they're going to build
him into an organization. I think that's the quarterback of
our future.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
So are they they are? They definitely bringing that back.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
I think that's to prove it to you know, that's
a lot of money. And as much as I'm a
Dak fan, sixty million dollars when you got Micah wanting
to get paid soon, I'm not hoping that leaves. They
just paid c D. We got good cornerbacks, we got

(07:11):
a really good linemen. I'm just saying, sixty million dollars
a lot of money. The topic quarterback. Yeah, and you're
not you're not playing better in the playoffs, and Dak
has not.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
But as they say, that's that's.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
So far played better in the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
That's the cost of doing business. Like see you like unfortunately, man,
unless you get lucky, like you know the Chiefs and
my Homes, your quarterback is dominated as a second year
player or brock Purty is you know somebody where you
can kind of cheat the code a little bit, and
you know, while your quarterbacks on a rookie contract. But

(07:50):
then like back back to Trey Lance, like the one
and the only other way is if like if they
groom him to be a starter in all the future
or the backup of the future. And in that sense,
it's like he's almost like where does he get those reps?
Because as a third stringer, you barely get any reps

(08:12):
in camp and you get zero reps in the regular season.
So it'll be a whole other, you know, another year
before he really gets reps. And so and if they
don't bring Dak back, they'll draft some one high and no,
no coaches, no organization is going to say, well, we

(08:35):
just drafted this first round quarterback. Let's let him compete
with the journeyman guy. You know what I'm saying, Like
it's it's hard, man, and it's tough because you're right,
he hasn't really played, but at some point coaches want
to see their guy in there. And it's I mean,

(08:56):
he's got another year before he's not considered a young
quarterback anymore. That next year be is with fifth year.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Fifth year, but still only twenty five. Bo Nicks comes
into the league. He's an old cat, you know what
I mean. So I think when you look at quarterbacks,
you look at a guy who could go into his
mid thirties. And if I'm just saying, if you see
some real potential in Trey Lance to where another year
in your system, another year with a quarterback coach, another

(09:24):
year to learn under Adapt Prescott, God forbid, that doesn't
get signed, he has to leave. At least you have
somebody you might want to at least try to allow
him to compete for the quarterback spot. So I mean,
I'm with you. I don't see him getting the reps

(09:44):
this year. I really don't see it. And honestly, based
on what I've seen in the preseason, I don't want
him to get the reps this year trying to make
it to the playoffs and then some I'm not ready
to turn the reins over based on what I saw
and to him and so yeah, this is all about
D and CD, who just signed right.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Big up the CD. Yes, sir, so you mentioned Michael
Parson's got to get paid. And I heard something today.
I want to get your your thoughts on it. And
you may not even be familiar, but Brian Baldinger was
doing a breakdown of Nick Herbig, the second year linebacker

(10:27):
ed rusher for the Steelers, and he did a breakdown
and his gown TikTok named Dino Dean Talk Sports or something,
but he always does film breakdown and he was saying,
how Nick Herbig moves like Michael Parsons, just looks different

(10:47):
when he moves. Are you familiar with Herbie get on.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
So it's a high compliment though.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Right, And I mean he's quick as a cat, fires
off the balls, not a huge you know, not a
not a big guy like Michaeh. But he does move different.
But unfortunately he's in it's playing behind t J. Watton
alas Heidsmith. But I heard that comparison. I just wondered
if you were familiar with him, because I never thought

(11:18):
about that, And I was like, that's pretty interesting to say,
because you don't see many many dudes off the edge
that move like michaeh.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
No, not at all.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
He's uh one of a con in terms of how
he moves as well as his versatility. I'm a big
Michael fan, but I'm gonna check him out because I
do want to see if we have a Micah into
making right.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Yeah, and it's you know, it's crazy, uh, you know,
young dude from Hawaii. It's he's leading the league in
sackson preseason. But yeah, we'll see, right pool, so we

(12:05):
know it's not it's not a running backs league anymore. Right,
We are way past the days of you know, running
backs glory days and the golden age of the of course,
the Himan Siths and the Barry Sanders in those days,
but even past the Adrian Peterson's and Levem Bells like

(12:28):
those names. Like those names even seem like long gone
now in your opinion, in this day of forty passing
attempts a game, who's the best running back in the league.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
I'm still gonna give it to I don't think no
one has taken the mantle from from CMC. I think
CMC is the best back in the game. However, Breeze
is Breech is on the way. Mm hmm, Okay, he's

(13:04):
uh freaking stud.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Yeah, as we talk about some Jets, I had to
take my call what the Jets fan out of me?
You know what the Jets hit out he going for?

Speaker 3 (13:20):
I just.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Mentioned that Briest's name got me feeling good. Yeah you
think no, I'm I'm right with Christian to me, is
the best. But I think Breece is credit to Pool
for mentioning brie because I think people who understand football
understand that Breece is right there on the cusp, right there,

(13:47):
and I'm looking forward to seeing what he got. But
it's a couple of other ones I like to though.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
I mean, but.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Christian, no no love for Nick Chubb he got I
know he's coming up the injury.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Yeah, I got to see what he got coming up
the injury.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
But Nick tub was my favorite back to watch and
he was my most favorite back in the league. But
like you said, he did go down, you know, he
definitely he definitely, I definitely would have been there with right,
with Nick and and Christian, But I think Christian kind
of like separates herself with the hands right, you know.

(14:27):
But man, I love Nick. I love him.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
I love the way Nick runs. It's tough, and I'm
hoping to your point he comes back as great as
he is and because he was at the top of
the heat. The other one I like is in Atlanta though,
Jon Robinson. You know, this is his second year. But
what I got to see of him down here in Atlanta,
that kid is nice, yeah, special, special, just don't get hurt.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
But he's I think Derek. Can you got anything left?

Speaker 3 (15:01):
I do?

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Yeah, yeah, especially in the new surroundings, like I think
the best best years, the best versions of Derek we
see a couple of years.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
Actually, yeah, hands down, And I'm looking for I'm looking
for to put up God, you know.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
As well, same reason, you know.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
And and he's right there on the hills of Christian.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
You know, he can catch just as you know, where
runs just as hard. You know. His knock is that
he won't press the whole. You know what I'm saying.
He wanted to get to the outside. But I mean
he's dynamic, man, something special special, And I.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Think that's what makes these running backs special is that
there are a lot of them who are dynamic. I
think whether it's Derek even a kid in Detroit, Gibbs, Jacobs, Jacobs, Taylor, Amara,

(16:08):
e t N. Yeah, yeah, you know what I mean.
So like while this running back era might and I'll
say my lack the top of the tier to what
you was talking about earlier, Jay, like the Emmetts and
you know the barriers, like because those are the best weapon.
Did it when you look at every team, like there's

(16:31):
a lot of good running backs in this league, explosive
a lot of honestly, being a Jets fan, the Jets
have four I know, that's like what But they got Bristol,
they got Braylen Allen, they got h Israel Abaconda. I can't,

(16:51):
I know, I'm very same. And then they got a
rookie like Davis Isaiah David mm hmm is small but
runs hard and can catch the ball. Like I'm just
looking at this team like you got Aaron Rodgers, you
gotta throw it. I would really rotate these running backs

(17:16):
and found them where I would approach the game. They
got really, they got a real good stable running back.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
Yeah, well, shit, you're gonna do that. I ain't gonna
I ain't gonna let this go by what I mentioned
in Nazi and Jalen.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
Moore so another another another good running.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Back, Yeah, absolutely so yeah, And I think it's just
the way the game is built now. Teams don't really
yeah run, They're used their running backs to the wheels
fall off and give them four hundred carries a season.
And you know, you rarely find a team that has
one Bell Cup usually just usually by committee these days.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
And I think when you do have an elite running
back like uh and and you're able to still give
him a breather, that's when you see the high average carriage.
They're a lot fresher and catchers in the Christian's case.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
Right, And don't forget about Jonathan Taylor as well. Yeah,
and Swiftland Swiftest dynamic as well. So, like you said,
it's pretty much well rounded in that backfield. You know,
the majority of the league has a has a talented
you know running back. So right, so let's pretty.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Till my cowboy hat off. That's definitely one of our
question marks. I'll say to our season, I'll run it
back yeah, correct, we got Zeke back and right here
that at one point Zeke was one of the best
in the league and he might not be top thirty
in the league right now.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
Yeah, kid looked them. Yeah look good.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
Yeah electric, it looks yeah the electric.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
Yeah, so hopefully he gets more, right yeah, man, Yeah,
I mean it's and it's interesting, like you almost have
to be considering how the game is played now. You
can't really be. You can't afford to be, and teams
can't afford to have a guy who's three yards and

(19:22):
a cloud of dust and can't cast the ball out
of the backfield, can't motion outside, and like you got
to be able to do all of that. I don't like.
Jerome Betts is my favorite back ever. He couldn't play
today and not the way he played. That's it's weird,

(19:44):
Like I mean, I guess that's the evolution from him
to it in the same backfield to Levy, Like just
how how different the game was playing in that short then.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
Sure, Yeah so I say back then, but that wasn't
even that long ago.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Yeah, all right, but it's crazy like when Le'Veon was
doing all that, like it caused the contract top and
forced his way out of Pittsburgh. Now everybody's doing hm.
He wanted to get paid like a number two receiver
because he had the second most catches on the team.
He was running routes like almost every running back is
doing that. I ain't ever thought about, Like, yeah, he's

(20:25):
one of the early ones. He was very versatile. He
was that guy man, period.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
Period.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
He was on Antonio Brown's podcast a couple of weeks ago.
That's the biggest ship show ever seen in my life.
That was horrible. Lincoln Washington. He was like, I think
they both got CT. I don't know what's going on.
It was bad. Dang, Yeah, but yeah, I don't know.

(20:59):
Man was excited for the season. Man, it's uh, you
know again. We'll touch next week on our picks for
division winners and playoff picks and Super Bowl picks and
individual awards. So we'll do that next week, and but
I'm just looking forward to it.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Same here. Man. It's some good young talent coming into
the league, some young quarterbacks that are going to get
the start from the beginning of the season. So just
a lot of excitement and a lot of different franchises
along with the teams that you expect to be there,
but just the whole unknown of it all. Looking forward

(21:41):
to it. But I mean, I think some of the
names we mentioned, particularly with those running backs, I'm looking
forward to seeing that offense. So Baltimore's one with d
Henry and Lamar, That's definitely what I'm on the lookout
for just as a football fan. And you said the
other one pool which is safe on and Philly. I
think both of them running backs is a perfect fit

(22:02):
on the offices and they could be really explosive this year.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
Yeah, man, you know I like line play. I'm excited
to see you mentioned Philly. I'm excited to see what
Jayden Carter looks like this year. Hm. And so it's
watch and play, right, So surprise question. Just thought about this.
Cool if there is if there's one player in the

(22:29):
league you pay your you sell your car to watch
play h m hm, who would it be.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
I'm gonna go against. You know I love backs, so
I'm gonna go against I'm gonna go against back. I'm
gonna say, I'm gonna say Pat mahme mm hmmm, I'll
say Pat and bad.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
Cold.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
I can I could I squeeze one more? Do? I
gotta wait? To come back like I got okay and
I'm gonna go I'm not gonna say a bear because
of course, you know, I would love to see Kle
But I would love to see t J. Watt play.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Yeah. To me, his motor is like.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
I don't even have a you know, I don't even
additive for it.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
He go yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
I mean he will be on my list, but I've
seen TJ play It was worth gantic, But yeah, how
about you.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
Our first guy that came the list was Lamar mm
hmm like that. I kind of like watching Michael Vick
and I did get to see Vic play a couple
of times. His speed, his wiggle, it was so much
better Lot and how also he could flick the ball

(23:57):
so effortlessly Vic And to see that live was just like, wow,
this is so nice. I'd like to see Lamar because
I just think he had that rare combination of those
two attributes, and that's one on a defensive tip. I mean,
we meanted the name earlier, but I think I would

(24:17):
love to see Micah Yeah, to see him play it,
and I just think he's a very explosive athlete that
moves from all around the defensive alignment. And I think
that would be fun to watch.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
Yeah, I mean, I'm trying to name some names that
y'all ain't said, just to be different. But I mean,
of course, the Mahomes and you know, t J. Michaeh
of course. But on the offensive side, I'll start on
defense because it's one that I would love to see playing.
That's Fred Waterer.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
Mm hmmm.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
Well Fred is special comparing them as players, but the
way he plays the game, it puts me in. It
makes me want to run through through through a wall like.
I love how he plays and mister angles he takes

(25:16):
to the ball and how smarty is. I love watching
Fred water play offensively. I'm about to sound like a
real forty nine Ers fan and I hate it, but
I don't know. I've always wanted to see Trent Williams

(25:36):
play in person because the dude is on a special
athlete and it's rare that you get to see an
offensive lineman b h like a focal point of an
offense and they actually run that offense around him in
certain ways. And you know, I feel bad because early

(25:56):
in his career I hated Oklahoma and I hate did Washington,
so I never gave the credit he deserved until I
watched his documentary I'm about him having cancer, and I
was like, man, let me watch this dude play, and
I was pissed to myself. Right, Trent is like that, So.

Speaker 2 (26:21):
Yeah, that's why they need to hurry up and sign
that brother.

Speaker 1 (26:25):
You know, we're about to find out a lot about
Rob Party. If he ain't got Brendan, how you can,
Trent Waite. So so we'll see.

Speaker 3 (26:34):
What was the name of the documentary, the silver Back
or something?

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Man, Yeah, yeah, okay, yeah, so I think it's I
think it's on Prime maybe I think so. Okay, yeah,
really good documentary.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
But yeah, oh when you got much today, you're jump
in some trivia.

Speaker 3 (27:04):
I am.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
I'm just ready, man, just I liked it when we
have four preseason games, we jumped straight into the regular season.
It's just by We're gonna kill me. I'm gonna be
finding somebody's grass to cut and watching my neighbor's car
as I'm doing all kinds of stuff. We get this weekend.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
I appreciate that they do it after Labor Day, so
they done timed it out to it right. Football season
about to go hard, about to just focus on football
on your weekend. You got one more weekend. Go out
to the bar, go out to the leg, talk to
your wife, talk to your wife, do whatever, do some

(27:48):
work around the house. Get it on out the winds,
because next Sunday, right on Saturday in college football?

Speaker 1 (27:58):
Right yeah, what about Florida State losing to Georgia Tech. Man,
that's crazy, right, soft, fair and loving football?

Speaker 3 (28:10):
All right? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (28:12):
Man, who's on you?

Speaker 3 (28:13):
Man?

Speaker 1 (28:15):
Wed, I'm ready to get smoked by app Let's do this.
What's up man, it's trivia.

Speaker 3 (28:21):
I'm pulling it up now, man, mm hmm trivia.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
H yeah, all right, I wonder I don't know if
your boots still smoking from last week.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
So we got three rounds, man on my pencil, live, okay,
short and sweet.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
Okay, got let me move a little bit.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
Mm hmm. I'm prepared man.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
All right.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
It's the name of the The name of them doing
is Monday night lights. Man.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (28:59):
H So we're gonna be three rounds. Ask your guy
has a question of piece and you need to Each
question is worth five points. H. So you're gonna try
to guess the player. These are the top twenty five
performances in the history of Monday Night Football. All right, So,

(29:23):
like I said, each answer, each correct answers worth five points,
and the three rounds, like I said, five points each,
and the last round, which is one more, you can wager.
So that's gonna be the fourth. You're gonna wager whatever
you want to wager that you have to I guess

(29:44):
try to catch or you try to seize the victory.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
Okay. And performances like rushing, passing.

Speaker 3 (29:52):
It could be anything. It could be defense, it could
be whatever. They're just listed at the top twenty five.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
Oh okay, yeah.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
NFL performances in history Monday Night, all right, Monday Night lights. Man, gotcha,

Speaker 2 (30:23):
Did this up?

Speaker 3 (30:23):
Man? Okay? What fuck? All right? Brett Favre and the
three and no. Minnesota Vikings travel to Green Bay to

(30:47):
take on the Packers on the same field where far
had built his legend. The Vikings will ultimately pull out
a thirty to twenty three victory, but instead of Brent
Farr as the star, it was the defensive lineman who
recorded four and a half sacks the most and Monday

(31:09):
Night Football history.

Speaker 2 (31:11):
Who is this guy.

Speaker 3 (31:15):
Randall? Randall? That is incorrect. It is Jared Allen. Oh wow, okay,
Jale Jared Allen.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
Cowboy?

Speaker 3 (31:31):
All right, Okay, here we go. All right, these two
running backs, well, let me start off. This running back

(31:53):
duo racked up three hundred and one yards and four
touchdowns on the ground to defeat division rival Tampa Bay
Buccaneers thirty eight to twenty three. One back rush for
nineteen rush nineteen times, one hundred and eighty six yards

(32:14):
and two touchdowns. Why his running mate rush fifteen times
for one hundred and fifteen yards and two touchdowns. Who
is this dynamic duo? Jeez?

Speaker 1 (32:33):
Who I'm stuck between two? I'm gonna say D'Angelo Williams
and Jonathan Stewart.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
That is correct.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
Who was the other?

Speaker 1 (32:48):
Ward gun and T? J. Duckett?

Speaker 3 (32:50):
Okay, okay, all right, so all right, So these two
quarterback titans faced off, all right. One was Tom Brady

(33:15):
of the New England Patriots.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (33:20):
The opponent dominated the game with his strong arm. He
threw eighteen for twenty three, three hundred and seventy one
yards and five touchdowns. And the dominant performance that will
help propel this NFC team to the Super Bowl, and

(33:42):
they would later win the championship. Well, year, no, you
can't come in the year hold on the team. The
NFC team was ten and zero at the time. And
I'm gonna give you the year two thousand and nine,

(34:03):
and the game was on November thirty. Spoon fed j No.
But I'll see I see like I guess two thousand
and nine.

Speaker 5 (34:13):
Aaron Rodgers Aaron Rodgers h Drew Brees. Okay, okay, all right,
all right.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
So the Giants had a sixteen to fourteen league enter
in the fourth quarter, but this NFC team would soon
take command of the game after a Chris Carter touchdown
to take the lead and then a fifty seven yard

(34:51):
touchdown by an unnamed player. The unnamed player ended up
with ten catches one and seven one yards three touchdowns
along with one eighteen yard touchdown run. Who is this
unnamed player?

Speaker 1 (35:14):

Speaker 1 (35:17):
Jay, make you read.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
Greasing me?

Speaker 3 (35:24):

Speaker 1 (35:25):
It ain't at work because I had one way.

Speaker 5 (35:29):
I ain't at work.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
I had one player man yard touchdown run.

Speaker 3 (35:34):
I'm like, yeah, okay. The Giants had a sixteen to
fourteen lead, enter in the fourth quarter, but this NFC
team would soon take command of the game after a
Chris Carter touchdown to take the lead and then a
fifty seven yard touchdown by this unnamed player. This unnamed

(35:56):
player ended up with ten catchers, one seventy one yards
and three touchdowns along with one eighteen yard touchdown. Run.
Who is this unnamed player?

Speaker 2 (36:10):

the nineteen ninety four season. Win. This wide receiver put
a serious beating on the Los Angeles Raiders. I am
trying to see if I okay, I don't want to

(37:39):
get that out, okay. This wide receiver caught seven passes
for one hundred and sixty nine yards and two touchdowns,
as well as one twenty three yard run for the touchdown.

Speaker 2 (37:56):
That's all the game.

Speaker 3 (37:57):
Yeah, I'm like, I'm gonna go with Jerry Rice all
you're on the board, man, whoa.

Speaker 2 (38:08):
Okay, okay, okay, at least I on the board on
the board, all right.

Speaker 3 (38:16):
December eighteenth, two thousand, Okay, okay. This team will ultimately
come out on top of this back and forth contest
on the strength of a running backs touchdown run. This

(38:43):
running back turned in a career game with twenty three
carries for one hundred and forty five yards and three touchdowns,
along with five receptions for fifty two yards. Who is
this NFC onnn back?

Speaker 1 (39:02):

Speaker 6 (39:05):
And then it then okay, okay, okay. He played the
Saint Louis Saint Louis m A guess the Rams mm

the third round. Jay has ten, Al has five.

Speaker 2 (39:58):
Okay, all.

Speaker 3 (40:02):
You can double that. You can wager that five, and
that will allow you to double it and you can
reach the ten if you want to double that five
or you have to. That's the only way you can
catch Jay and that'll put us in the bonus round. JA,
what you want to do, I'll risk it, JA, what
you're gonna wager? Gotta go ahead and put the wagers

(40:25):
up front.

Speaker 1 (40:27):
I can.

Speaker 3 (40:28):
I'll let you wait. Yeah, I wait, because that's the
that's the beauty of you having the lead. Well no, yeah, yeah, yea.
I'm gonna put you in the blind. Yeah, it's poker game.
Put you in the blind.

Speaker 1 (40:44):

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
