big one, uh, Davontae Adams. The question the trade a

little over a week ago, and it's been granted shipped
to the Jets for essentially a conditional third round pick.
We can go to a second if they go to
the AFC Championship or the Super Bowl and he plays,
or if he's named first or second team All Pro
by AP so it's a third round pick. None of

those things happened. First question is will this how much
does this matter to the Jets, Like is the team
good enough for this to even matter?

I think I think the offense is you know, they're
gonna roll, but the offensive line is poors. But I
still think guys are dropping balls and guys or not
where Aaron Rodgers expect them to be. So Adam's going
to clean I think it's going to clean a lot

of it up. However, the Jets, and it's funny that
I say that the Jets are the Jets of old,
like the last three years, you know, with that stifling
defense and no matter where they go, where they travel to,
you know, they're packing their defense. The young rookie kid

Yeah, it's difficult, like to carry that season after seven

left out there on the table. So they're just like,
you know what, let's just play for the number one,
number two pick, whatever whatever happens. They gave up the money,

have that huge contract. You know, I think they're not

because they read I think I read the Jets and
take it up the salary.

Right, yeah, you know, the more the more games he plays,
the less they have to pay.

But it yeah, that's kind of that's kind of starting
them over there. Don't have a huge quarterback. They're not
paying the running back. They're not paying the right receiver.
The only person that's making money probably is Max Max Crosby,
so they can do a lot they can. And Christian Wilks, Yeah,

they're paying him with one hundred and ten medal or
something like that.

Yeah, something like that. And the left tackle Coton, Yeah,
I don't think he's one of the highest paid, but
he's you know.

don't hear his name when I when I watched the game.

He got injured last week. So yeah, last week is
the first game he missed. But he's playing pretty decent

if he'll be out for the IUR season, but he's

in the South, they have shipped to Mary Cooper to

Buffalo for essentially for a third round pick. I think
it was a mari and a seventh for a third
and sixth m hm. So essentially a third round pick,
in my opinion, is something Buffalo could use. What what
does this do for Buffalo's chances? I mean, I know

they're in first place in the f C East, but
they've been kind of up and down, you know, play wise.
What do you think it's does for Buffalo.

I'll think it's gonna it gives them a guy that's
gonna get open, play in and play out, a guy
that he can really depend on, excellent route runner. He's
gonna catch the damn ball, you know, So I think
it gives him. I mean, we all know Mary Cooper
is a he's a legit number one, so you know
he's getting along in the tube. However, he's still legit

number one, right, so it is you know, I think
they kind of I mean, they got a they got
a good ball player for you know, I think he
got a new deal coming up with like two years
because I know he was clamoring about who's speaking to
the Browns about the new deals? Yeah, but you know,
who knows that they're gonna resign them. But we'll see.

I mean, I know it's a lot going on in
Cleveland right now, do you what are you? I mean,
I know we keep coming back to this, but it's
it's the obvious that Watson contract kind of hamstrings them
as far as their flexibility. I think it's if they
were to, like if they were to cut him or

if they were to trade him, which is unlikely. But
even if they found somebody like Carolina who has a
lot of capital just to take him off their hands
and also give them a first round pick. Even if
they do, that's eighty five million dollars in dead cap
money this year, well next year and the following year.

It's impossible. They just pretty much got to keep eating
this contract until it runs out. And I mean, I
think now the smart thing to do is like they're doing,
is acquiring draft capital. I mean, there's seasons in the tank.
And do you see any other way for them out
of this mess?

I think they see what they got him, a young
kid man. The Shawn's man is just and it hurts me,
you know, you know, you know I talked about yeah,
but he's uh, you knowing the words of Bill Watson, man,
the Great Bill Walton, just shoving himself.

He's just showing himself man and putting down man.

And even I mean, even if they even they end
up with the top them, they will with the top
three pick, top five pick. You draft a young quarterback,
you still got an eighty five million dollar Avatross on
your bench if you decide to go with the rookie.
But they've you know, so many holes there. Their offensive

line has gotten old. Uh, so they could use the
left tackle, right tackle, probably a guard, maybe a center.
My mouths, Garrett is the only effective player on their
d line really, so they need a edge rusher a
court like this. That's a lot on that. And so

I know I said last week. I don't know if
you heard that part, but me and now talked about
the teams we hate in our division. Seems we love
to see suffer the most, and the Browns was mine,
so I don't feel bad for him. But it's ugly, man,

So a lot to clean up there. But first step,
I guess getting rid of Cooper and rebuilding from here.
Another trade, a minor trade. I guess it is cam Acres,

that that's the kid man, the kid that came over

I mean, what you know, they was proble. I'm pretty
sure they got somebody to practice. Squad can do what
Cam can do, right, No, not not knocking Cam, but
he's not you know, you don't have two torn what
you call those things, not hamstrings achilles, you know, so

Cam is not. I mean, the gotta be some guys
out there that can do what Cam can do.

Yeah, absolutely, I mean I guess it's good to have

wanted Davante out of there because they're they're tank and
I really thought, well, I knew it was nowhere in
the hell that the Raiders would trade him to the Chiefs,
you know, so they know way they wouldn't do that.
I'm kind of surprided that they didn't get in on Cooper,

you know. But I can't think of anyone that I
would like to see because I know no one's gonna
give us a left tackle or center or anything like that.
So I can't think of anyone. Oh, I would love
to see Hassan Reddick, either on the field or get traded.

You know, he's a really good place. They're just wasting
the season away. I mean, I want to see him somewhere.
And I don't want to see him with the Lions,
you know, because they talking about going after the past Russia.
I don't want to see them with the Lions.

It could happen, considering what just happened to Hutchinson, so
it could happen. They've granted him present permission to seek
the trade.

these wide receivers flying around, Man, I love to see
one land in Pittsburgh. We need something, we need Van Jefferson,

But Van is more of a yeah, he's your wide
receiver number four, you're good, but then the number two.
So of course, you know, the names come up with
teams that are struggling, that have wide out STU could
be on the move, you know, Hopkins could be on

the move out of Tennessee. Christian Kirk out of Jacksonville,
Mike Williams out of the Jets.

I like Mike Williams, but I just think his skill
set is a bit redundant to George Pickens. They're both
kind of contested catch guys and sideline beasts. I mean,
I take him. You know, Van ain't even that vans
skills set is right. But out of those, I would

probably probably prefer Hopkins. You know, Vet is not too expensive.
Somebody who can get get opened quickly in the immediate route, sure,
and somebody I think that will be, you know, a
good guy in the locker room, Christian Kirk.

SA learn a lot.

They cook similar type guys, I think Christian Kirk, although
I love his speed and explosiveness, he just can't stay
healthy consistently. So and any of the other twelve thousand
receivers in the league who would help us right now,

especially if they decide to go with Russ. Russell need receivers.
Rus can't get out of there like justin so we'll see.

I mean, you know Mike Tumlin's press conference today and
he was asked the question like, now that Russ is healthy,
will he see first team reps in practice? Like, yeah,
he'll see first team reps, but they both will. And
then he was asked, is it a possibility that he
starts next week? We won't know until you know later

this week. He's not gonna tell you if he's started
out of course, you know, keeps the other team guessing.
But he said it's a possibility, it's under consideration. Of course,
the media ran with it, and now it's every article
you read, all big changes in the quarterback room and Pittsburgh.
I'm like, man, but I mean, of course, it's a possibility.

Just it ain't been perfect. And if you got a
guy like Rustling your bitch, at least in practice, you
got to see what you got. You know, if he's
gonna see if he makes the offense, better. It's gonna
be hard to do after you just got off of
thirty two to thirteen win to change quarterbacks, and when

you're four and two, it's tough to do. But I
get it now. Man, I'm not there to see Russ
in practice every day and see Justin in practice every day.
I don't know what they look like, but it seems
like everybody respects them or they're saying all the right stuff,
and then you know the players are. But I think
you have to take that opportunity to see what you got,
at least in practice, see how he looks at the

number one.

names in the draft at this point, looking at Shador
Sanders Colorado, Carson Back from Georgia, cam Ward from Miami.
H just those three guys m hum ranked ranked them

To me, I have I have Cam and Ward to me,
their neck and.

Neck, but I've seen Cam shor Cam wh yeah, Cam door.

To me, they're they're kind of like neck to neck. However,
I've seen should be I guess more games, I see
him more out of him with just flat out really
barely any talent around him, especially on the offensive line,
and he you know, he make make plays, make throws pinpoint.

I'm gonna give the doors the slight being camped and
the back back he played football, he I mean, but
he's flooded with talent. I just don't see I just
I'm not gonna say I don't see it out of him.

Yeah, It's it's always difficult to judge college quarterbacks who
have everything around them for as prospects because you don't
really see them under adversity. The times we've seen him
under adversity was just recently against Alabama. It was they

were down by thirty in the first half. You got
to put yourself in a hole because he played horribly.
You put yourself in a hole you can dig out of. So,
you know, but consistently he's got the best ten teammates
on the field, right right, So yeah, it's it's tough.

And I have Chador and camrahead. I do agree Shador
he does a lot with less and he he plays

the game the right way. You know, he he can
read defenses. Arm talent is not elite, but it's good enough.

My only knock on cam Ward is he gets a
little arm egotistical at times. We think he can throw
it anyway. So yeah, but extremely talented. It's gonna be
fun to watch this play out. And I think this

little pre underrated because the last years was so hyped
and I think people just kind of assume that this one,
this class wasn't gonna be as good. But I think
it's shaped up to be pretty decent.

arm out of him. He gets it there, he's definitely accurate.

helm in a little from bow Nicks from last year.
But Dylan Gabriel seems like he kind of in the
bow Knicks mode, doesn't take a lot of chances, a

not sure if he has has the mentality or the arm,
chalent talent for the next level. So I don't see
him the first round prospect. Some Cam risings out there,
but he just got injured for the season. Yeah, So

twenty seven to three, he got Dan Skipper out wide
running routes. The man ran a slant like they just yeah,
he was just rubbing their facing it. And I like
that kind of pettiness man, like especially you know, against

but I like that. I'd like to see, you know,
sometimes it's good not to see jersey swaps and hugs
after the game. You hate somebody, you hate them. I

at the week seven.

So you remember when John Gruden had that show on
ESPN for the draft. It was like with the Chuck
with the quarterbacks on the white board. Mm hmmm, and
he bring them all in, asked him to write a play,
and I remember he had it was Jimmy Clawson on

the whiteboard. I think it was. And yes, Jimmy Clawson,
because he asked him about a play he threw an
interception on and Jimmy Classon blamed his receiver, Golden Tap.
He blamed Golden Tate. And I'm going somewhere with this

final John Gruten stopped and was like, no, when you
asked about an interception, it's always your fault, betiful. And
so to see Aaron Rodgers throw Mike Williams under the
bus last night after that interception told me two things.

Aaron Rodgers still can't take accountability for shit, and two
he is done with Mike Wood.

It's well documented that you know Williams has struggled and
he's been trying to please, you know, get it, get
earn Aaron Rodgers trust, and it just hadn't worked out.
But when it gets to that point when it's press conference,
he's basically blaming you, and in detail that's telling you

he's done. So I think that's why they brought in,
you know, another solidified why they brought Davontae Adamson. But
I say that Rogers pretty much. They asked him about
this because they were down down by three, driving like
three minutes to go and Aaron Rodgers doing an interception.

His explanation was it was supposed to be two streaks,
one guy down the scene and the other guy, Mike Williams,
was supposed to run down the red land, which is
you know, about four y five yards inside the sideline.
And he said, when he looked over, because he had
us on the street, I won't be seen. He looked over,

Mike Williams was running to dig so he had to
justice throw and try to adjust, you know, based off
a way saw the route going, which I'm not. I'm
not in the huddle, No I'm not. You know, we
don't have a we're not privy to what's going on,
But it didn't look like that. To me, it looked well,

even if he did one, he still could have made
it if he threw it to where it's supposed to go.
And if you couldn't, nobody was out there. It's second down,
three minutes to go in like it's the hell. Like
it's the hell, Mary, throw it away and play the
next play. But to say that in the press conference

and specifically and go into detail of how you blame
Mike Williams for that, that speaks for argus to me.

think their issues in New York are bigger than firing
your head coach or bringing in a new receiver. When
you got a Ford, a forty year old quarterback who
won't take accountability and start throwing his teammates under the bus,

Jets are in trouble with it without Adams, and they're
stuck with Aaron Rodgers until he says he's done.

or if he's named first or second team All Pro
by AP so it's a third round pick. None of

those things happened. First question is will this how much
does this matter to the Jets, Like is the team
good enough for this to even matter?

I think I think the offense is you know, they're
gonna roll, but the offensive line is poors. But I
still think guys are dropping balls and guys or not
where Aaron Rodgers expect them to be. So Adam's going
to clean I think it's going to clean a lot

I say that the Jets are the Jets of old,
like the last three years, you know, with that stifling
defense and no matter where they go, where they travel to,

and sixth m hm. So essentially a third round pick,
in my opinion, is something Buffalo could use. What what
does this do for Buffalo's chances? I mean, I know

they're in first place in the f C East, but
they've been kind of up and down, you know, play wise.
What do you think it's does for Buffalo.

I'll think it's gonna it gives them a guy that's
gonna get open, play in and play out, a guy
that he can really depend on, excellent route runner. He's
gonna catch the damn ball, you know, So I think
it gives him. I mean, we all know Mary Cooper
is a he's a legit number one, so you know
he's getting along in the tube. However, he's still legit

number one, right, so it is you know, I think
they kind of I mean, they got a they got
a good ball player for you know, I think he
got a new deal coming up with like two years
because I know he was clamoring about who's speaking to
the Browns about the new deals? Yeah, but you know,
who knows that they're gonna resign them. But we'll see.

I mean, I know it's a lot going on in
Cleveland right now, do you what are you? I mean,
I know we keep coming back to this, but it's
it's the obvious that Watson contract kind of hamstrings them
as far as their flexibility. I think it's if they
were to, like if they were to cut him or

if they were to trade him, which is unlikely. But
even if they found somebody like Carolina who has a
lot of capital just to take him off their hands
and also give them a first round pick. Even if
they do, that's eighty five million dollars in dead cap
money this year, well next year and the following year.

It's impossible. They just pretty much got to keep eating
this contract until it runs out. And I mean, I
think now the smart thing to do is like they're doing,
is acquiring draft capital. I mean, there's seasons in the tank.
And do you see any other way for them out
of this mess?

I think they see what they got him, a young
kid man. The Shawn's man is just and it hurts me,
you know, you know, you know I talked about yeah,
but he's uh, you knowing the words of Bill Watson, man,
the Great Bill Walton, just shoving himself.

up with the top them, they will with the top
three pick, top five pick. You draft a young quarterback,

your bench if you decide to go with the rookie.

line has gotten old. Uh, so they could use the
left tackle, right tackle, probably a guard, maybe a center.
My mouths, Garrett is the only effective player on their
d line really, so they need a edge rusher a
court like this. That's a lot on that. And so

I know I said last week. I don't know if
you heard that part, but me and now talked about
the teams we hate in our division. Seems we love
to see suffer the most, and the Browns was mine,
so I don't feel bad for him. But it's ugly, man,
It's it's ugly, and it's no. No that light at

So a lot to clean up there. But first step,

to that. Man, they've been doing that ever since we

hurricane season. I got a few clients that are in
Florida and they were right in it clear Water and
Tampa area. Luckily, it wasn't as bad as they thought
that we're hitting their areas, but I know it's bad
for a lot of people. I got family there too,

so no power is starting to be restored, but there's
still no flooding going on. So you know, anything to
do to help, whether it's just prayers or yeah, well
wishes if you can donate what you can. Man, people
still shoggling, no doubt, no doubt. But anyway, man, that's
