Speaker 1 (00:01):
You call yourself for me. You know you're a lying
in low life more a fucking gambly de January frick,
you know that's what you are.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Well, Hello the January folks, and welcome to the Degenerate Gambler.
It's Wednesday, the fourteenth of August.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Just back with another episode. I'll be having a.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Quick look back at last week's bets, giving you some stats,
and then I have two bets picked for this week.
So look, I'm not gonna spend too much time going
back on the bets.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
None of them were great.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
The me and bet for Wednesday only had two up,
which was down Coaster and Boatland. The other three were
beat City Drew, Birmingham Drew and last were beaten the
others bet.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
I only had one up. This is Mandel had no.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Bet on Saturday evening and then on Sunday, which I
will be continuing to do for at least another three
or four weeks now at the Premier League's back and
there should be more games on a Sunday.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Italian League, Spanish League, Oh that's back.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
This week is the sort of super Yankee or whatever
I'm doing, you know, Yankee, whatever it may be.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
So yeah, I got one up on that, so it
wasn't great either. But anyway, it's early in the season.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
But one thing that I have changed this week is
I'll give you a sneak pig, so I went with
both to score bat as my main bet because again
so in the season, to try to pick winners. So anyway,
stats on last week games, so in total we had
seventy two games in England that was from.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
The Championship down to National League South. So I run
through these quickly.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
So in the championship twelve games in every league, so
Championship seven favorites, two draws, three out Saders, League one
six favorites, one, there was one draw and there was
five outsiders at one. In League to eight favorites one,
two draws, two outsiders, National League five favorites, three draws,
four outsiders, and National League North eight favorites won there
(02:08):
was two draws and a game two outsiders, and National
League South exactly the same eight favorites one there was
two draws and two outsiders. So in total of seventy
two games there was forty two favorites, twelve draws and
eighteen outsiders. The out siders was actually quite high but
forty two favorites, winning is fifty eight percent of favorites,
(02:33):
So that's a good start, and let's hope that it
keeps up that this season going on to goals, so
overs and then both to score. Championship was all the sixes,
so six games were over, six weren't, six games both
to score six nine League one five games over two
point five, seven games not six games both to score,
(02:54):
six games now in League two, five games over two
point five, seven games not six games both to score
and six games not in the nice in League seven
games over two point five, five games not and again
seven both to score, five not nice. And League North
(03:15):
is big one, ten games were over two point five
and only two weren't, but only seven were both to
score and five weren't nice. In League South high game,
eight games were over two point five, four games weren't,
and nine games were both to score and three weren't.
(03:36):
So those totals were actually the worked out the same,
which does tend to happen sometimes, which was forty one
games over and thirty one not, and then forty one
games both to score and thirty one not, and that
is fifty six percent of the games. Again another decent
high number.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
So you know, let's hope.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Those kind of stats continue now that we'll have the
Premier League back, and I mean the Premier.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
League this week.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
This is one of the reasons why I went for
a boat to score bet. The prices in the Premier
League this week are terrible, Like for all the games,
there's hardly any that are even worth Gambino as far
as winners are concerned.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
So I'll just give you a quick quick overview of this.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
So Liverpool are one to three forty eleven, Arsenal are
won to five. Evertt the thirteen to eight breakner seventeen
to ten. That's a pretty tight game. Newcastle are forty eleven,
so I thought them seven to one. In the Forest game,
it's a pretty even game seven to five on fifteen
to eight. And then in the Villa or West tom
(04:43):
at home they're six to four versus seventeen to ten.
So there's near really three games to bet there, you know,
Liverpool Networth bet on Arsenal, Newcastle and the other games
that are there sort of tight you know, early season.
So that made me think about going for a both
to score. So I'll get into the main bet, which
(05:06):
is I say it's a five timer both to score
and the games are Forrest and Bournemouth at eight to thirteen,
Norwich and Blackburn at eight the thirteen, Lincoln Barnsley at
four to five, Wickham Birmingham at four to five, and
Newport Don Coster at four to six, So in total.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
That's thirteen to one.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
There is a ten percent bonus on bet three six five,
so the pay is one fifty four. So look again,
I did have a look over the you know who
scored goals in their first sort of game on any
any of the teams have played in the EFL Cup.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
But you know it's hard to go.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
On but against more just do the games look like
the two teams you know could potentially scored.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
That's the reason.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
And it's very early in the season, there is no
form yet, so you know, picks are harder to sort
of back up with evidence onto my say bet, which
this week will be a bet for wins. So I'll
run through these and I'll come back and give you
some sort of reasoning of why but chefended at home
(06:13):
the QPR at four to five, Mansfield at home to
Burton five to six, Jillingham away to morek them even
money Forrest Green away to Boston six to five and
Watford at home the Stoke eight to five. That works
at thirty six to one, so it's quite a big punt,
(06:33):
but with only having a five or on it, it's
paying like one seventy or something.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
But the reason I.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Went for that again, like I say, is it's very
early in the season to be predicting, you know, winners.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
But looking at the chefian Eded game.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
So first of all, Chefian edit verus QPR, chefian Eded
won their first game, QPR didn't.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
But again a team called fall down from the Premier
League should be looking to win their home games against
half decent QPR said Mansfield was the next one.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
Mansfield, you know, had a really good season last year
and they went away from home in their first game.
Burton lost their first game and just historically, you know,
Mansfield have a good home record. So yeah, that's sort
of thinking there next jilling Him So Jillingham are a
(07:31):
way to Morecambe and from looking into as far as
I know, morecamb lost a lot of players lost their
first game in the league, lost in the cup. Jelling
them won their first game lost to Swansea here League
League higher two leagues here in the Cup. But last
season they played each other twice and Jelling them won
(07:51):
both games.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
So that's sort of thinking there.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Next into the National League Forrest Green, who were obviously relegated,
playing in Boston first game of the season, first game
Green drew, Boston lost, But again I'm sort of thinking
with that of you know, Forst. Green were relegated, they
did well. The lost team they were in the National
(08:17):
League got promoted, So that's my sort of thinking about
that one. And then lastly, look you'll see that obviously
a championship game is the last game here. Because I
was I was sort of I didn't know where to
go with Watford. I was also looking at Salisburg. Salsburg
are away at last there named the ten. And I
was also looking at Burnley and by are like one
(08:39):
to two. But if I hadn't done to Burnley, it
was paying like it was twenty to one, so it
was paying about one hundred. But you know what, I
just took the risk and went for and went for Watford.
Watford can be hot and cold, but Tom Cleverly obviously
is in there as manager. Now you know hopefully he can.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
He can. You know, they had good spells last year,
but you know.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
They're like for sack of managers, so if he doesn't
get off the good start he could, he could find
himself out of a job. But again they won the
first game three, two or two all up. Stoke won
the first game one though, But again with that one,
I'm just sort of looking at home advantage and the
(09:20):
fact that I do think Tom clever, he will probably
do a decent job there.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
So they say that one's thirty six to one.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
That's the two bets.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
I have a quick look at midweek and then I'll
tell you about my outright bets. I've only done two
this year. Let me just log log in here.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
Yeah, so midweek on Tuesday night there is a full
National League fixture list.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
There is a full.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
National League North, so that's twelve and twelve. There's a
National League South nine games, and there's also a couple
think it's six Champions League qualifiers, so you know, decent eight.
Wednesday there's only the Champions League qualifiers and might be
a few games in the Northern Premier League as well.
And then Thursday, I think is Europa League qualifier. So yeah,
(10:24):
I'll quickly run into this before.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
Let just go.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
So I've done a ten pound but it was actually
a free bet. I think i'man to talk about this before,
but I'll go over it again. So outright bet is
Spurs to finished top six at four to six, Looting
to be promoted at seven to two, Don Coster definishing
the playoffs ten they eleven, Bolting to be promoted at
(10:50):
three to one, and Forrest green de finishing the playoffs
at eleven to ten. That pays eleven hundred and eighty
two to almost twelve hundred quid. And if it had
been a hadn't have been a free beat, it would
have paid two round. I'm sorry, two round twelve hundred sorry.
And then the one of that they talked about it
(11:10):
was I was going to do is the top goal
scorer for each club. Now, look, this can still bait
me in the arts because players may transfer, but we'll
see what happens.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
I had to get it done before the season started,
so Avon Tony for.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
The Branfords top goal score four to six, Becaiosaka seven
to four to the Arsenal's top goal scorer Jared boone
five to four to be West Tom's top goal scorer.
Cold Palmer he hit the thirteen to be Chelsea's top
goal scorer, and as a he's fifteen to eight's over
two to one to be Police's top goal score. He
(11:43):
needs to stay injury free to be able to do
that because he missed a lot of last season my injury.
So that's basically it. He'll say, is I've restarted tech talk. Also,
I can't post my bets on tech tak because they
keep I already had one post flag that I had
to delete because I posted a bat on. The plan
is to build it up to a decent amount of
(12:04):
followers and then only post the bats to my followers.
Then hopefully they're not going to you know, put in
reports which people which get me bold. But what I'm
putting on some you know, decent information about different types
of bats, different ways of doing things. You know, talked
about the League Cup, about batting for goals and stuff
like that.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
I'm going to do another video here about the starts.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
Hi, I look at the stats. But so if your
own tik talk anyways, give it a follow h Yeah,
But that's about it. So it just leaves me to say,
if you are doing about this week, good luck and
hobby Pondon.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
Here get the fucking yeah. Thanks. Let me find that
you fucked up.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
I'll leave you where right find you
