Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning everybody. Welcome back to the Total Takedown. This
is on the home of Fight here for UFC. Oh
my cow and yeah, as you guessed it's not Thursday.
My refrigerator blew up last night, so I apologize for
my tardiness here. But we are as always dedicated to
getting you your and then they related bedding content. So

(00:20):
let's get into this card. We're gonna look overs and
unders and I'll be back in about twenty minutes for
the Undefeated postway and show because the wayans happened while
you was sleeping. First fight of the night, we have
got Mahasha mahas shot. Sorry, my tongue is not ready
to go, as you can tell, haven't had my caffeine yet.
Nicholas Mada. This is a one and a half total
over his minus one fifty five under one and a
half plus one twenty. I kind of hate this fight,

(00:42):
especially from a totals perspective, because I could see this
fight ending on like the first exchange with these two guys.
Mada comes forward, he bites down on the mouthpiece and
swings overhands. He's a glass cannon. He's about as fragile
as it gets. And then Maha Shot. On the other side,
I'm not entirely certain how durable he is. It seems
like he's okay, but if you crash the pot, he
can be clipped. He likes to stay long, he likes

(01:03):
to throw the knees. He is not at fight ready
for this camp. I was all gung ho about this
guy being at my fight Ready Jim for a second camp,
but he's not there any longer, so I'm not sure
what the preparation's gonna look like. Maybe that last version
of Maha Shot is where they are going with his direction,
in which case I'd say that trends a little bit over.
So I like violence in the first fight of the

(01:23):
night almost every single time. I like violence anytime Nicholas
Mada is fighting. I used to like violence when Maha
Shat is fighting, but now this thing has me leaning
towards kind of anti violence over because that's the way
Maha Shad showed us he wants to fight in his
last outing. So I'm not entirely certain what's gonna go
on here. Guys, I would completely avoid this one, and
plus it's gonna be at like one am, so don't
forget this is a card where you're gonna have to

(01:46):
set your alarm clock or pull an all nighter because
it starts at three am Eastern time, so wherever you're
at in the world, that would be one am for me.
I'm not pulling an all nighter to watch Maha Shot
and Nicholas Mada. I'll rewind. I'll wake up when I
wake up, and then I'll go back and check that
one out. Long Zhao and Kwang Lee two and a
half total over his minus two twenty under two and
a half is plus one seventy. We'll have to speed
this up just a little bit. These next couple of

(02:08):
fights are very, very tough to predict because it's a
very low level of fighting here. I would say the
over two and a half makes some sense to me,
and neither of these guys showed ridiculous power. Both them
showed decent their ability low level fights. Those always can
find their way under. But I will lean to the
over two and a half. Loner Kavanaugh and Jose O Chua,
now this fight is an absolute banger two and a
half total. Sitting at a pick them Brice tag right now,

(02:30):
I would lean towards the under just because Jose Ocha
leans with his face. Now. He has been tagged big
time before, and we've seen Kavanaugh has pinpoint accuracy with
huge power and good movement and good speed. I kind
of think he's going to be very very ripe to
kojose O Chua in this spot. However, O chose to
shoot the Box guy, and we know those guys are
pumped full of the best vitamins money can buy. We

(02:51):
also know that they refuse to die, they refuse to
stop coming forward, and when they get their hands on you,
they're extremely dangerous. So as much as Kavanaugh look great
in his name White's Contender Series fighting, we don't know
that he really is gonna thrive at the UFC level.
We don't know if he's ready for a shoot the
Box guy. We're not sure what that looks like. So
I do think there's finishing opportunities on both sides of
this fight. Both guys have been clipped in the past hard,

(03:13):
so I'll lean with the under two and a half.
Norma Joggle takes on Carlos Hernandez in the next fight.
This fight is very very interesting to me. I know
the world is on Carlos Hernandez here and he's sitting
at minus one seventy. There finally has been some buy back.
I didn't jump on Norma Joggle just yet, I said,
I thought I was going to, but I want to
watch the face off, so I want to see these
guys actually size up, because it's one of those spots

(03:34):
where if Carlos Hernandez is the same size as this
guy and doesn't have any issue taking him down, yeah,
he probably rides him out. But if Carlos Hernandez is
on the small side, Norma Joggle has that size and
power advantage. He does swing, heavies, and he does hit hard.
I could see him ending this fight. Carlos Hernandez doesn't
hurt anybody on the feet, but we know he just
kind of cardio debts to you and then he could
submit you in round three or something like that. So

(03:55):
this under two and a half at plus one thirty
does have a little bit of a shot to get there.
It's not super interesting to me. I feel like it's
mostly the Norman Joggle side. As far as this thing
getting down under that two and a half, you would
be really sweating. If Carlos Hernandez is in the driver's
seat and you've got a half around left. As round
three started. For this one, ming She takes on Zikenfeg.

(04:17):
This is the women's MMA fight. We've got a two
and a half total. Over is minus four seventy five.
Under two and a half is plus three twenty five. Obviously,
numbers are going to be a whole lot better if
you use bet openly. We'll go ahead and get that
plug in there for you guys. We have a fight
where I think Mang she is going to be in
the driver's seat. It's however she wants to win this fight.
She's low volume, she likes to keep on the outside.

(04:38):
She doesn't look overly dangerous, but she knows how to
use her reach. Mingsh is short, she's stubby, she's got
tiny little arms. I could see Fang get the finish here,
but I have no idea how Mingsh competes in this
fight whatsoever, and definitely doesn't finish. So it's kind of
a one sided fight, both on the side and the total.
If you're playing something goes under, I would say is

(04:59):
Zao Kanfang inside the distance is probably a slightly better
number than this UNDERD two and a half. I'm not
sure how she finds her way to a finish. Ever,
Shahota takes on Don hun Choi in the next fight
two and a half total. Again, the over is minus
two forty the under two and a half is plus
one eighty. So Hooda has got some grappling chops that
I like on this one. TOI looked like he was

(05:20):
a pretty solid striker. I like this fight. This is
one of the more competitive ones on the card. Again,
low levels, so could lead towards an under. But one
thing we didn't talk about on this show yet, guys,
is the gloves. Remember we are using the quote unquote
new gloves until the old gloves. I guess they're like
out of them or something. They need to produce more
for twenty twenty five before we fully go back to them.
So for the next couple of Fight Night cards, we

(05:40):
are going to be using the old gloves, which have
led to a higher decision rate. Now on a card
like this, I'm not so sure that matters because guys
falling backwards into arm bars and rear naked chokes. That's
gonna happen on a low level card. So you could
definitely find your way to a finish. But I'm just
saying I lean everything a little bit more towards the
over anytime those gloves are in use, and on this
kind of a fight where it's back and forth, fight,
heigh stakes, both guys are fighting for a title, you know,

(06:03):
in some capacity, then I would say, we're gonna look
over Bargog takes on. Sue you you, Sue Young you. Sorry,
my eyes are fuzzy, I still don't have my caffeins.
Two and a half total over is minus two ten.
Under two and a half is plus one sixty. I
really think you is probably the side for me here
in this fight. I am not sure what Bergang does

(06:26):
overly well, particularly, so I think this fight is gonna
be a little bit one sided, and I could see
this fight going under in a hurry because of that.
I also could see Baragog being kind of in survival
mode basically the entire fight. And then you it's hard
to finish somebody when somebody's not fighting you, if you're
not biting down on the mouthpiece and coming at me,
I'm having a hard time finding and opening. So this
thing could get dragged to a very very boring decision.

(06:48):
So I will lean with that over two and a
half at minus two ten, Zeng Ying Meng and Augie
Auzzy Diaz one and a half total for this one.
The under is minus two twenty and that is thanks
to mister Ozzi Daz, Thank you very much. He's gonna
be coming in this spot. He's a wild man. He's
got two early finishes on the regional scene. He failed
on Dana White's Contender series. We know he's a little
bit less than durable, but I believe he's in the

(07:10):
wrong weight class. He hasn't looked overly fantastic recently against
a low level competition. Even though he has gotten those finishes,
there's still definitely holes in that game. Minyang Zeg is
some big time power. The guys in minus three hundred
favored in this spot. I think this is supposed to
be a showcase where they're welcoming Diaz back just to
get knocked out so that Zang can have a highlight
on his record, that kind of thing. If Diaz does

(07:30):
what he's supposed to do, this fight stays under that
one and a half, and I can't really argue for
the over one and a half very much in this spot.
Quite frankly, I mean maybe if Zang's power just isn't
quite up to snuff, and you guys don't you're not
buying it. You don't think that he's got the power
that they're trying to sell you. Maybe you sprinkle that
over one and a half at plus one fifty, because
there's a lot of ways these fights do squeeze over
at least the one and a half total, and plus

(07:51):
one fifty is a very juicy number. But with Dias
in the fight, I can't. I gotta say under one
and a half. Here's the good stuff, vulkan Uzdamir and
Carlos Oldberg. We do have a one and a half
total for this one over one and a half is
minus two hundred. Under one and a half is plus
one fifty five. I don't like this fight at all.
The numbers all seem insane to me. One and a

(08:11):
half over is basically saying that vulcan Uzdemir leads the
dance or Colors, Soburg is gonna be staying on the
outside and trying to run away from him. The entire
fight both entirely possible. But the way Olberg usually fights
is he bites down on the mouthpiece, steps forward and
swings everything he's got, and if you're there to get hit,
then he clocks you. So I could see this fight
being far more competitive. You know, volkan Uzdemir is not
the kind of guy that's gonna just run straight into

(08:33):
that trap like some of the other opponents that Olberg
has been fighting will. So I think Vulcan will be
perfectly fine with like a low paced you know, not
get hurt play the outside. He might even try to grapple.
We've seen that work before. Oldberg does have a questionable
gas tank in my opinion, but Olberg is a whole
lot bigger than volkan Uzdemir. You saw that when they
did their that was one of the fights that actually

(08:54):
did face off, and I saw before I went to
bed last night. So there's a size advantage here for
old I think this fight maybe squeezes up and over
that one and a half. It's such a massive competition
jump for Oldberg that if he's going to pass this test,
he's gonna have to mind his p's and q's. And
even if he does knock out vulcan Usdumer I mean,
which he totally can, it's entirely possible. I'm not sure
it happens in the first exchange, like his last couple

(09:16):
of fights have. It probably is something that comes a
little bit later in the fight where Vulcan's already a
little beaten up, a little bit tired and makes a
mistake that kind of a situation. So I'm not laying
this kind of chalk, but I'll say over one and
a half Kong Wang takes on Gabrielle Fernandez. We've got
a two and a half total over is minus one
seventy five under two and a half plus one thirty five.
You guys know, I've got a very very low opinion

(09:36):
of Gabriella Fernandez. I've got a very high opinion of
Kong Wang. The UFC is giving her the Alex Pereira treatment.
She got her win in the UFC the last time out.
Now they're kind of marking this as it should go
the distance. Right over two and a half at minus
one seventy five tells you they think this fight is
going to go all fifteen minutes. Kng Wing does have
a lot of decisions on her record. However, she is huge,

(09:57):
She's absolutely massive, and the UFC stat I'm gonna talk
about this on The Undefeated post Wan show, the UFC
stats have these women being height and reached the exact
same and that couldn't be further from the truth. Kng
Wang is absolutely massive. Gabriela Fernandez is somebody who slows down,
She tires out a little bit. She's not a phenomenal grappler.
This is gonna be target practice. Kongwang is gonna have
a punching bag in front of her by about halfway

(10:19):
through the first round, so I fully expect Cong Wang
to probably finish this fight under two and a half
is the same price tag as her inside the distance,
So if you're gonna play it, just take Kong Wang
inside the distance. I probably will, but I'm not gonna
be looking at the total here because I don't see away.
Gabriel Fernandez finishes Song Keenansong takes on Muslim Salikov two
and a half total over two and a half minus

(10:39):
one forty five, and Muslim Salikov fights are just the
bane of my existence. The guy comes out and randomly
spinning heel kicks a guy in the jaw when I
say it should be going over, and it's done in
the first thirty seconds of the fight. Similarly, if I
think it's gonna go under. He survives like an old
leather boot and then manages to grease his way to
a decision. I can't figure the guy out, like he's
at the age where we should be taking advantage of him.

(11:00):
He's old, he's busted, and for some reason that just
keeps on not happening. Song Kanong is a low volume
power puncher, relatively durable, big dude, and in this kind
of an old man fight where both guys are big
and slow and willing to kind of trade pot shots,
I could see this thing going the distance. I will
say over two and a half at minus one forty five,
But again with the age and the durability slipping on
both guys, I wouldn't invest in that because that definitely

(11:23):
could be a fight that gets finished. Jean Yang takes
on Tabitha Ricci in the co main event of the evening.
Over two and a half is minus four seventy five. Yeah,
this one's going the distance, and I think that's because
Ricci will survive the offense of Yon. That's all it
comes down to. I think Ricci's going to make this
a relatively close fight, and I think she'll be able
to compete. Yan has a very big time grappling deficiency.

(11:44):
We've seen her put on her back and choked out
and finished and stuff like that in that position before
she got crucifix TKOD by Carla Sparza. I don't know
that Ricci necessarily has those types of tools. She is
a I think she's a BJJ black belt. She's either
a brown or a black belt, so she's smooth on
the ground. We've seen her sell out for arm bars
and stuff like that, but she's not gonna do that
against somebody so much bigger than her and Yon. She's

(12:05):
gonna need to focus on control. She's gonna need to
get her down. She's gonna need to hold her down,
and that's gonna be kind of a problem for her
because of how small she is. On top of that,
she's working her boxing. I do think she'll have a
speed advantage, but she's got to rely on really just
not taking that big shot coming from Jan because Jon's
got serious power. So I do think this fight could finish,
but that's a Yan ko or Ricci sub Those are
really kind of the only two ways this thing finishes.

(12:27):
I'd rather play a prop. I think it probably goes
the distance and we end up with a split decision,
which is why I have a bet on Tabitha Rigi.
Peter Yon takes on Davison Figureedo in your main event.
The over four and a half is minus one eighty
under four and a half plus one forty. This fight
is super interesting to me because it's a Peter Yon fight,
which means we know he's going to give up round one.
Davison Figureedo will be up one round on the judge scorecards,

(12:49):
almost assuredly, and then Peter Yon is going to figure
his opponents timing out and crank the pace up. A
lot being made about Davison's grappling chops recently, don't forget
that Peter Yon is actually a very good grappler and
wrestler himself. He could find takedowns of his own. And
Davison Figaredo has been finished by my guy Brandon Moreno
a couple different times, both in round three. So as

(13:09):
he's getting a little bit older as the wear and
Tara is starting to build on him and he's starting
to slow down a little bit. These young guys that
are faster, that hit harder, that are putting a beating
on him like these five round title fights. I'm not
so sure that the God of wars as durable as
he used to be. And a guy in his prime
who seems to be injury free for the first time
in a long time in Peotr Jan, somebody who builds
throughout the fight, a guy who Tiko Jose Aldo in

(13:30):
the fifth round. I could see a late finish from
Piotr Jan in this fight over Davison Figoredo. However, I
can also see Davison being incredibly tough the way he
always has been. I could see both guys utilizing some grappling.
I think Jan will be far more successful with that
than Davis and Figureedo will be. Obviously, you got to
watch out for that Figureedo guillotine. That's one of his
best moves of all time, and he's got an incredible
squeeze on it, something we haven't really talked about. So

(13:51):
that's obviously always a threat that Jan just so tough
to finish. I doubt he's going to catch him with
that here. I think this fight is probably going to
end in the fifth round or go the distance. I
may sprinkle Pyotr Yon in round four and round five,
but I think peoter Yon by decision is the most
likely outcome here, So yeah, we'll say the over four
and a half at minus one point eighty. That is
the total takedown you guys will see in a little

(14:11):
bit for The Undefeated, Postway and show. I will have
coffee before I do the next show. Let's roll
