Down happened last week on Friday, as it usually does
in Sacramento. It actually was a pretty good show. SmackDown
was actually pretty enjoyable. This week you had the return

of Ilia Dragonoff, who responded to the open challenge for
Sammy Zain. And originally it was gonna be the mizor
or I guess the Miz wanted to be the one
who was the challenger, but then Kamara Lahayes took him
out and then Ilia Dragonoff came out Early Dragonof's went

out for a year, so he came back, looked, looked
more like Muscly a lot more jacked, and had a
new neck tattoo. So he came out and didn't skip
a beat. Him and Sammy just had a fucking dope match.
I love that match. You know, Ilia can't have a
bad match. That's our boy here, Sammy. Sammy can't have

a bad match either, he kind of. I mean, it's
one of those things I've saw. I saw a quote
about Sammy Zain where he doesn't necessarily do anything spectacular
in the ring, but he makes everybody around them look spectacular.
In this case, you have Ilia who's already fucking spectacular
and all Sammy's is doing is just putting the icing
on an already you know, delicious cake. So they had

a really amazing knockdown, drag out match. As you can imagine,
Ilia is bumping like a mad man. Sammy is just
being Sammy doing Sammy things. The other thing I wasn't
nuts about was the ending where Solo caused a distraction,
But I guess that kind of makes sense, you know,
going with the storyline with you know, Solo and Sammy

and everybody else. Ilia gets the win. Ilia is the
new United States Champion, so good for him. Afterwards, Solo
the MFTs attacked Sammy and Ilia, which that's the part
I didn't really like. I thought it really took away
from the moment. But afterwards mft's interacted with White six,
so that sells that feud. But yeah, what do you

think about Ilia returning in the United States Champion?

This is one of the reasons why you need to
just you know, have a guy and just put a
title on the guy and see where it goes. I mean, basically,
SmackDown has a gunther pre equivalent now on SmackDown in Ilia,
Dragonov and I can't wait see what he does the title.

I mean, he's gonna have great matches.

The only thing is who who you're gonna face him with?
Who you're gonna pair them with as far as in
the feud. But outside of that, man, I think, uh,

Agreed. I it's funny you mentioned that with Gunther, like
he's essentially there Gunther. Between between Ili and Gunther, who
do you think? I guess, in your opinion, who do
you like best?

I don't have a preference. I love them both equally.

Gonther offers. He offers a little bit something different. He's
more of a kind of an old school you know,
ground him and found him, you know, Matt Rustler or
I guess a wrestler. Ilia is a little bit more
fast paced and we'll just throw his body around like

of like a you might call me crazy for this.
He's kind of like a Darby Allen in a way.

that's kind of like with Ilia, but happy for Ilia,

running back? Him and Sammy, maybe him and Ray Phoenix.

Reignite that NXC feud ship. Who else, I mean, Solo

is probably getting get involved, maybe some NXT call ups,
maybe a trick Williams on SmackDown. Who knows fuck Alistair Black,

why I'm blanking on the last same UH with Nick
Nicholas the pricolus as a Chelsea Green calls him, who
announced that Uh it was gonna be Jacob Fattou versus
Drew McIntyre. I was already announced last week, but it
was announced as a number one contenders match for Cody's title.
And then later on the night, Uh, Jacob thought too

was attacked and you saw his teeth quote unquote lying
on the floor, you know, with blood. And then Drew
mcindayre comes out, cheesing, smiling like usual, and then you
know he tells Nick, you know, Nick Altus, there you go.
I don't know why have blank I was saying, you know,
I want my title match right now, blah blah blah.
H Cody Rhodes comes out still dressed up, not in

wrestling gear, which I I actually thought that made sense
because I thought it would have been too convenient where
it's just like I am ready to go in my
wrestling gear. Haha. Like no, it's like, no, this is unexpected,
like I'm gonna kick your ass, you know, wearing my
wearing my nice shoes. You know. Cody come out a
little bit more in sense, which I which I liked,
by the way, Like I I think I said it

last week, when Cody has more fire, when Cody's more
pissed off. I think that's where he's more interesting, and
in this case, this feud with him and Drew is
more interesting because he's pissed off and Drew's bringing out
something interesting Cody that we haven't seen from him in
a while since Kevin Owns. So I was thinking, are

they gonna, you know, pull a swerve and have Drew win,
maybe like a Randy Heal turn, and you know, he
cost Cody the title, but you know, Cody was so
pissed off that he hit Drew with the belt. So
they're going to continue it at Satura Night's main event
next Saturday on the first of November in Salt Lake City.
So fingers crossed. Who knows what's gonna happen. But other

So Jacob fought too. It was announced that he was
gonna be missing some time for the rest of the
year due to a non wrestling related injury. Now it's
being reported that he had dental work done and he's
not clear to wrestle, so that's why they did the
whole thing where his teeth were knocked out. So it

looks like he he'll also miss some time obviously, I
don't know how much time, but I doubt will be
till the end of the year. But overall, what were
your thoughts on, like, what are your thoughts on the
whole jacobat two thing and also the main event with
Cody Andrew.

Pretty fun main event to your point, it would be
too convenient if if he comes out, you know, in his.

it could have been someone else possibly, you know what

step for a potential story coming back with jacobatu.

Drew finally getting rewarded for having such a great year

the rest of SmackDown, you had a vignette with Damian
Priest not Damian Priest, Alistair Black and Zelena where they
just talked about why they decided to finally pair up together,
and you know, it was a good segment. You know.

You also had Charlotte Flair and lex A Blist defending
the women's tag team titles against soul Ruka and Zaria
Yep almost called Mariah Mae Blake Monroe was at ringside
watching the match. Uh, I don't know. It's one of
those like, you know, wrestlers being dumb things where like

why is soul Ruka paying more attention to Mariah May
than the match or Blake Monroe than the match, like
it's it's not like she actually did anything. She was
just there and then Soul was like, what are you
doing here? And it's like she's literally didn't do anything.
Like I thought she was actually gonna hop the rail
and do something, but she didn't. But uh, you know,

Charlotte Flair won the match for her and Alexa by
putting Soul in the In the figure eight, Soul tapped
out Saul. Sul got hurt during the match. I'm not sure,
did she get hurt you during the figure eight or
where did she get hurt exactly?

Okay, So, just to kind of fast forward during an
XT review, so so Ruka announced that she did get hurt,
obviously on her knee. I believe that's the knee that
she got hurt with before, or she get that she
got hurt before, I'm not sure. So it was announced
that she was going to be missing some time, but

instead of relinquishing the title, Zaria will take her place
as the Women's North American Champion in her honor and
wrestling Blake Monroe this Saturday. So I thought that was interesting.
Instead of just relinquishing it, you know, Zaria is going
to defend it in her honor. Kind of like when
Booker T was the United States Champion and he had
guys wrestling for him against or No. I think he

had Randy Orton w Russell for him against Ben won
out a pay review and then when then when Orton won,
you know, Booker T was Selmburne like he won. So
but sucks her soul because you know, she had a
really good year and she was you know, one of
the brighter spots at I don't want to say one
of the brighter spots. NXT is generally the better show,
but like you know, she always had the funner matches

and you know she's over and it sucks. But you
know when she comes back, she'll she's done it before
and she'll do it again. So but it does. It
does suck for soul. Get hurt. I don't know if

in the main event with Darby and Moxley where Seeing
came back and he had white hair, and then Moxley's

So the show opens with Broun Breaker or the Vision
bron Breaker Bronson and Paul Hayman Braun coming out with
the World Heavyweight Championship that he didn't win. Here he
took from Seth Rollins and Seth, We'll not Seth Paul

Hayman pretty much saying that we're we're bigger than you.
You know you're you're a Bumarn't you called Seth a
bum arn bitch and that we're the revision of the
future or no bum shoulder bitch, That's what he said.
Adam Adam Pierce came out announced that there will be
a Battle Royal to determine who will face See Them
Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night's main

event the first next week or next Saturday, and telling
bron Breaker you need to hand over the World Heavyweight Championship.
Bron Breaker refused and then gave it to Paul Hayman
to give to Adam Pierce. Bron Breaker and Bronzeen weren't
even in the match, so I was a little dumbfounded
by that. But let's let's let's skip a ed to

the main event because obviously there's a lot to talk
about with there. So the winner of the main of
the Battle Royal to go on to face see Them Punk,
and if anyone can tell by watching the the on
the YouTube channel by seeing in the thumbnail it was
jay Uso. So jay Uso will be wrestling Sampunk at

Saturday Night's main event, not l A Knight, which logically
and storyline wise, that would have made more sense because
La knights whole thing is I want to be world champion.
I got I never got my world title shot against
seth Rawlins. I mean, even aj Styles, like for nostalgia reasons,

match with Sena, and he's even going on a retirement tour,
and then you know, he just won the tag Tam titles,
which we'll talk about that in a bit. Or even
Dominic Dominic would have at least been fun. But jay Uso,

gonna end. You know, the the match ended on Monday
with Jay eliminating both Jimmy and La Knight, and you
know Jimmy looking pissed off at j So we kind
of already know where this j with this j thing
is going. But to do it for CM Punk's World

Championship win, I just I don't know I don't like it.

as a contender for CM Punk. The match is gonna
be what it is. There's gonna be a lot of Gaga.

seems like they just want to give him a little

deserve to be in the battle royal. So eventually, like
you said, there is a future where bron Breaker could

beat Cempunk for that world. So if let's say se
him Punk does win next Saturday, and I hope he does,
but let's say he does, and eventually bron Breaker can
win the Rumble and go on to face Punk and

coming from when you're when you say it's a it's
a good decision to give it to Jay.

of Woman Reigns. When he was a heel, I thought
that was some of his best work. That was that
was some of his best character work in some of

don't know if Jay turns heel, which I think he will,
he has to do something like dastardly, like he can't

you had a J's Styles and Dragon Leave versus the
Judgment Day for the World Tacking Championships. Uh, this is fun.
This is a really this is a really really fun match,
really really good match too with you know, four guys
in the ring that know what they're doing. Judgment Day

were tack Tam Champions for over one hundred days and
they only defend the title like what once? Like that's
just yeah, just insane. So I like I like the
team of AJ and Dragonly. I like that dragon Ly
is kind of getting I don't want to say more
notice because he was noticed before, but like, especially with

this deal with Triple A, it's really kind of helped
him breathe. It's really helped breathe some new life, you know,
with back into him. So you know, putting him with
AJ is fun, you know, because, like I mentioned before,
they're kind of planning something with AJ for his retirement.
Not not as over the top as Sena, but they're
still doing something with them, So pairing him with Dragonly

it makes sense. It's fun. They're both high flyers, yes,
and they seem to get along. They seem like they're
really good friends in real life. So I like this match.
I was kind of thinking they were going to put
the tag team titles on them. I don't know, like
I got that impression they were going to do it,
and they did it. Like it was kind of a
straightforward wrestling match where they won. There really wasn't any gaga,

no interferences, and well I think did Dom come out?
I believe. I believe Dom came out, But AJ still
won the match for his team with the styles clash,
and him and Dragonly are now the new Royal Teach
Team champions. So good for them.

Yeah, happy for dragon Ly, Super happy for dragon Ly.

But what do you think about this match?

Very good match.

Now we're now we see where this next summe starting
the Judgment Day is gonna go with Dom and everyone
else in a Judgment Day. But yeah, I'm happy, super
happy for Dragonly to for gain a title, you know
what I mean, because I like, I think, I think
he's a guy that is very underappreciated to a lot

of fans. And you know, you can go out there
to have a good match with anyone. You know, you had,
you know, Pens to come in and it's coming. You know,
people forget about dragon least, so so I'm glad that
they're still ulizing them and you know, and that they
that they believe in them.

So yeah, I mean, he's he's definitely, he's my choice
so far for most underrated. And it seems weird to
say that because he's always been good, but you kind
of now you can't hit the nail on the head.
We kind of well, we didn't forget, but like the
fans and almost the company kind of forgot how good
this guy really is. So again, with a triple A deal,

it's really helped invigorate a lot of people on the
on the main roster. So but uh, soup, I mean,
I'm more happy for Dragonly than AJ. I mean, I'm
still happy for AJ because I'm I'm a mark for
a J. I've than a mark for a J for
over a decade or for over two decades, but I'm
even more happy for Dragonly, so good for them. Uh,
the Judgment Day thing, it's been kind of weird because

I'm more interested in Raquel. I mean, obviously Dom Dom
is the star, but I'm I'm always looking forward to
anything Dom does, but I'm also as interested in whatever
Roquel and and and Roxanne do. Finn, this whole thing
about him is like is he gonna turn on dahm

or isn't or is he not? Blah blah blah. It's like, well,
you should have done it a long time ago, Like
this has been going on for what a year year
and a half, and it's like are you gonna turn
them or not? Or every year it happened last year.
