Speaker 1 (00:10):
No mercy. No, there's no more forgiveness, no wronging. Now
you've made it my business itched in my mind, the
(00:33):
sins of your paser starts slapping me and the wains
that I can't wait now I.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
Want but I want a bird, I said, person.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
Up, hey, check check. How do I sound.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Self?
Speaker 3 (01:24):
Okay? I want to make sure I sound good and
I'm not clipping or anything. All right, people, welcome, welcome,
Welcome to the experience. This is the n XT No
Mercy twenty pay per view post show is a triple
threat tonight. I am Drew and joining me as he
(01:45):
always does on these on these p o ees, is
our resident lawyer, mister Jeff Lipman.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
Going on, I went two and four. Wow, I'm so.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Proud as you should be, sir, and join night is Uh,
we've we've he's been on the X. We've been working
together all week. This young man, mister r J.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
The Brooklyn Savage, Howdy howdy, how's everybody doing tonight?
Speaker 3 (02:14):
And uh we're getting are right? Yeah, we haven't had
a triple threat on these plus in a while, so
hold on, it's got a weird message anyways. Nonetheless, let's
let's get things started, h w W E n x T,
no mercy just occurred. It was in uh sat was
(02:37):
it st Or Fort Lauderdale, Fort Laudledale, Florida and let's
get things started. Uh So the first match of the
night was Javon Evans versus Josh Briggs and a singles
match the night prior, uh, Jevon Evans actually appeared on
(02:58):
two different shows. Uh. He appeared on SmackDown answering sammy'sz
Ain's open challenge for the United States title, and he
did a really good job. It was a really good match,
and the main roster crowds seem to really be into
They seemed to be really into Evans. And then he
also appeared on Impact or Not Not Impact Victory Road
(03:21):
I'm Sorry, where he answered another challenge, this time Leon
Slater for the TNA ext Division title, which is gonna
be bound for glory. So he's been busy getting his
face and his name out there.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
So but gonna be fucking insane when it happens. If
you like the flippery dudas and just insane athleticism, that
one's gonna be for you.
Speaker 5 (03:48):
That one's gonna be for you. Jesus Christ.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
Yeah, it's uh, you know, people might consider the match
of the Year candidate. It's gonna be a lot of fun.
I do like Slater from when I've seen Javon, I'm
very high on. We'll see how that match goes, but
odds are it's gonna be batshit crazy. But NXC no mercy.
First match in the car Javon Evans versus Josh Briggs.
(04:16):
I mean, this is this is a nice opener. I like,
I think it's Briggs. I know RJ isn't too high
on Briggs, but I mean you even put on Twitter
that you thought Briggs was a lot more bearable in
this match, you know, than you know what you usually
see from him.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
Uh, I'm going to say this about Josh Briggs. Josh
Briggs is a good worker for a big man and
everything like that, right, But he, like a lot of
other people that they see him high on, that's a
big man, right, He's just boring. There's nothing else to him.
I'm big, you're small. I'm a bully. I don't care
(04:54):
what the fans think. There's nothing new, genius or brilliant
about it. And he's just he's just there. He's just
a big man. That's there now. And Jeff, you, being
an MLW watcher, there was another big, generic guy who's
now the world heavyweight champion, who used to wear a
golden body suit that looked like MVPs And now he
(05:18):
went away a couple of years ago and he came
back with a mask, with a whole new gimmick, and
now he's the MLW World Heavyweight Champion. That man's name
is MATG.
Speaker 5 (05:29):
Krueger.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
And yeah, and I just state that Briggs might need
to go down that route, might need to come up
with a character, might need to come up, maybe wear
a mask, do something, because what he's doing right.
Speaker 5 (05:45):
Now is just boring.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
When the bell rings, Yeah he's good, but there's nothing
else to him. He's not special. He doesn't cut of
promo that special. He doesn't get you hyped into anything.
At least Oba has that. Oba has that walk, he
has that aura whatever to him. And I mean, if
you look at other big guys in wrestling, like war
Little Hobbs, you look at those guys, you just want
(06:11):
to root for them and stuff like that, Josh Briggs
doesn't have that. To me, he doesn't have that quality.
And I just think that he needs something extra on
that bone. Wearing leather pants and a big vest with
somebody's skull on it. That looks cool, I guess on paper,
but like, that's not a personality.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
He just doesn't. When Vader had the stupid giant mask
with smoke coming out of it and it looks less
cool thirty years later on his shoulder.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
Yeah, I don't get the whole smoking skull thing on
his shoulder. That just that kind of throws me off.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
It's just freaks of costume.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
Yeah, yeah, but no, I see where you're coming from.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
Nothing about Josh Briggs is bad. He can do everything,
but nothing about him stands out, like if he's if
he has a twenty year career, okay, if he's released tomorrow,
and his work in the indies okay. I mean, he
just feels sort of fungible. And I think a real
opportunity was lost a few years back when they brought
(07:16):
JBL back and they paired him with Baron Corbin. But
instead of changing anything about Baron Korman, they had just
had JBL with Baron Corbin. And I thought at the
time it, I mean, you have a guy named JBL
who his character was a rich you know, commodities trader
from Texas. An oil baron, that's what they're called. And
(07:37):
you could have put Baron Corbyn in a cowboy and
to call him oil Baron Corbyn. And at that point
you could have paired him with Josh Briggs, brought them
up and been like a new Blackjacks, kind of like
two big cowboys, and that might have worked with all
of that together. I don't know if it would ever
want of uh, I think Josh Briggs the biggest problem
(08:00):
is it when you look at him, he just looks
like a nice guy. He is a kind face. And
yeah he's too big to be a typical baby face,
but he's got a kind face. So while I wasn't
really thinking about Mad Krueger at the time, a mask
would do a lot to hide the face. War paint
would do a lot. To some sort of eye wear
(08:22):
that he's always wearing would do a lot to hide
the kind face. In any event, he just seems like
he's a gatekeeper now. And again you could move him
up and he could be somebody's heater or bodyguard and
it'd be fine. But you know, after Javan's twenty four
Hours and all the hype with Javon and a few
lost title matches here and there. I mean, there was
(08:43):
no way he was losing this match on this PLI
So while the match was fine and it was fun,
you know, I didn't mind it, but I was sort
of just waiting for a tand.
Speaker 5 (08:53):
Yeah, same because I'm not I'm sniding the Brigs.
Speaker 4 (08:56):
Not into Briggs, just not and when I'm not into
a rest automatically kind of shut down on it, especially
when that particular wrestlers on offense. Like I kind of
doubled down and just like look at my phone and
pay attention to my phone a little bit. And when
Javon started his comeback and started like bowing up and
(09:17):
slapping him around and tell him, hey, you want this
shit jit, and that's when I started paying attention again.
And you know, of course the finish and everything like
that was very smooth. But other than that, I just
I can't get into Briggs. Man, can't get into Briggs.
That's why I wrote what I wrote on Twitter earlier.
You know, Javon Evans got me to care about him
for at least twenty minutes because he was in the
(09:38):
match against somebody actually like a care about.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
So when you went down that road of there's a
big guy who didn't have much of a character, who's
down in MLW. I didn't know who you were talking about,
though you said the Championship, because you could have been
talking about Die Jack. You could have been talking about
Baron Corbyn or Bishop Dyer, and I suppose you could
have been talking about Matt Krueger was a long time ago.
I I didn't even think about him that way. I
(10:02):
think about him just as Mad Scruger, you know.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
Yeah, when he was when he was Logan Creed, I
was like, oh my god, who the hell is this guy?
Speaker 2 (10:13):
But he's he overcame that for me a while ago,
you know, back when, back about two spokespeople ago for
for Contra.
Speaker 5 (10:21):
Yeah, oh yeah yeah.
Speaker 4 (10:23):
And I mean I liked the original version of Contra better,
but he's not He's not bad in the role he's
in right now. He's definitely I think he I think
he's taking a ball and running with it.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
We all liked it better with the guy with the
turban then sort of like the military garb and like
you couldn't exactly tell what he was supposed to be,
but it was sort of like a combination of the
Sinister Minister in general scandar Rakbar.
Speaker 5 (10:47):
Yeah, yeah, it was great.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Just the match ends with the match Vanel bothered me to.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
I couldn't think of the name Samuel the original.
Speaker 5 (11:00):
Yes, yep, the new as they call them.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
At ends with the Evans countering a choke slam into
a cutter and then defeats him with his finisher, So
which was which was impressive nonetheless, but yeah, you're right.
I mean, Evans has had a pretty impressive week, so
there's no way he's just he's going to lose to Briggs,
you know, clean. But again, Evans, I can't say enough
(11:26):
good things about him. The dude has a future. And
it's weird because he started his wrestling career at thirteen.
I didn't know.
Speaker 5 (11:31):
That he's mad young man.
Speaker 3 (11:35):
Yeah, but I didn't know he started at thirteen.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Yeah, Nick, Wayne Batman, Yeah yeah, those two too.
Speaker 3 (11:46):
So well, I thought, I'm like, well, I guess, I
guess because I'm talking about the wrestling business. I just assumed,
like for most wrestling territories are just Cray training schools,
you have to be at least eighteen.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
But now, with consent, your parents signed that waiver all
and also also too, also too.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
You gotta remember this too, Drew. There's a lot of
people that train underneath the table in these like private areas.
I'm just not finding out this myself, that they have
these areas in South Carolina where people train teenagers and
stuff like that to wrestle.
Speaker 5 (12:28):
I mean it's very sketchy, don't get me wrong, very sketchy.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
But you go on to South Carolina and you're looking
for illegal stuff not it's like I can hook you up.
You want drugs? Nah, I dont know about that. Ud
do you want guns? I don't know anything about that.
Uh you know where where the hookers aren't? Aw? But that?
What about some gambling? I don't know about that. Wrestling
underground wrestling training, that's what I got.
Speaker 4 (12:51):
Yeah, sign me up that.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
Yeah, he just he just has a large overcoat with
nothing and he just tells you about wrestling.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
I got the bullshit right here, by.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
Bull So let's move on.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
That's great, love it.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
Uh So, next as you have the women w W
Speed Women's Championship, which was supposed to be soul Ruka
versus why why a man blanking on her fucking name?
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (13:34):
Rainy read there you go who got hurt during training.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
I remember her because she looks like every South Carolina
girl ever.
Speaker 5 (13:43):
Yeah sounds especially Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
But ye're right now.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
I'm looking out the window right now seeing a girl
ride a horse down the down the goddamn road.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
Is it Rainy Read?
Speaker 5 (13:58):
I might be your twin sister, might be, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
It's Laney Laney Read Uh asked her if it was
her that was the hooded figure in the match.
Speaker 5 (14:10):
Oh, definitely, definitely was her. I mean, are you kidding?
Speaker 2 (14:14):
How did she get Sam and the USO's disguises?
Speaker 5 (14:20):
She asked for the hookup? Oose that hook?
Speaker 3 (14:25):
Get that well? She asked? Well, she asked Jada for
Jay's hoodie. Anyways, So it was supposed to be Laney
Read but ended up being Jada Parker. The match was
five minutes because it was for the I guess the Championship.
I'm not, but I mean the match is fun. I mean,
there really is no other way to describe it. It
(14:45):
was a five minute match, and it's quick, obviously, but
it was it was fun. You kind of suspected what
was going to happen. Lash legend came out, caused a distraction.
I was going after Jada but accidentally hit Zaria, and
then Zaria speared Lash and then Jada in the ring
and got hit with the soul Snatcher one two three,
(15:07):
So Saul is still the speed Champion again. Just really
no other way to describe his match other than that
it was fun. Wasn't like overly offensive. I don't really
think there are any botches so well, actually there was
one trying and then she kind of had to like
(15:28):
maneuver it into a pin.
Speaker 5 (15:31):
Would you want to trying to haul all that ass?
Come on now, stop it?
Speaker 3 (15:37):
Yeah, it's a battle of asses.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
But when you're saying that, what about I think when
j said who'd want to haul out of all the ass?
I think he's telling us that he would like to
haul out of that ass.
Speaker 5 (15:57):
But so Ruka trying to do it?
Speaker 4 (15:59):
Is it's weird, like come on, like you can't, I mean,
just gonna.
Speaker 5 (16:07):
Damn, Why are you trying to do that?
Speaker 2 (16:11):
Was she going to do something to make it look
like it was it was a move and not just
for them to fall down and lay there.
Speaker 5 (16:18):
All right?
Speaker 4 (16:18):
I mean yeah, I mean good in recovery. I just
state that that just even the thought of even trying
to lift her up a little bit. It was just
kind of weird to begin with, but it is what
it is. You got to try to make do what
you can. Have a situations and.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
They announced the surprise that you know that Lany Reid
wasn't going to be in the match. I sort of
thought it was going to be a TNA woman who
was going to answer the call, So I was surprised
with with Jade, I see, I figured the whole thing
was going to be was going to tie into either
one of two things. Either Zaria is like, you've got
(16:54):
two titles, I've got none. We're supposed to be focused
on those those tag team titles, and here you are
show voting or Charlotte and Alexa, we're going to be
in there. And inadvertently, Zaria, would you know clock you
know soul Rucas they've done a million times before, and uh,
you know Laney Read or whomever would would get the title. Instead,
(17:15):
they just did a you know, a typical whatever and
kept the last legend Dada Parker feud going, which was fine,
and kept the title in soul Ruka, which is also fine. Yeah,
I don't mind, but you know, the the whole Laney
read thing felt a little bit ache all along, and
(17:35):
apparently at some point this week her her picture was
moved to the main roster. So I guess she got
a raise, which it's pretty fast. I don't know. She
sort of reminds me of j D McDonough in that
she's her timing is good, She's always in the right place,
so you know, she definitely knows how to wrestle. They
obviously have a lot of faith in her very quickly.
(17:56):
But she has a character. I mean, it's it's you know,
and you know, it's it feels more normal on her
than it ever did on Lacy Evans, So I'll give
her that. And Lacy Evans has a lot of other
advantages over her, but this feels more natural. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
I guess. Speaking of TNA, A Jordan won the TNA
Knockouts Championship after Ashby Elegance had to forfeit it due
to assuming injury. She basically in the promo, you know,
real life stuff is caught up, so I can no
longer be the Knockouts champion. Pregnant word on what that is? Yeh,
(18:37):
she's pregnant.
Speaker 4 (18:40):
I was saying, could she could she be pregnant, because
she didn't necessarily say she was injured.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
I mean, it could be anything. I mean, it could
literally be anything. I mean, we've had we have had
a rash of pregnancies with on women with titles recently,
but have not. We have no idea what it is,
and I'm sure it'll I'm sure it'll filter out soon enough.
So yeah, it's true. It's it's sort of a shame
(19:05):
because she, you know, she had been waiting a long time.
She went through a little bit of hardship and kind
of reinvented herself sorta, not really, but sorta.
Speaker 4 (19:15):
I give her credit. I give her credit. She she
still was going, she was still going. I'm not the
biggest fan of hers whatsoever, but I'll give her credit
for keep on going. She went over to TNA and
just me trying to make strides to get better and
to do whatever she can to make sure she's being
seen and heard. So I got to give her credit
and respect for that.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
Absolutely. But I gotta tell I guess, anyone who's out there,
who's who doesn't watch DNA, or even if you do,
the person who holds that entire act together and makes
it interesting is George Iceman.
Speaker 5 (19:48):
Yeah, he's great.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
Yeah, I mean I think any three women could their
competent wrestlers could have could have the same success if
they had him doing his stick And and I'm going
to take full credit for that because he was one
of the guests on Book of Black, so he enjoys
the Book of Black Gospel of Thomas Rubb and as
a result, so there was the entirety of TNAH.
Speaker 3 (20:11):
So Joe definitely hind in this success.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
I'm just telling you that that nw A got a
TV contract pretty sure, EMLW is going to get a
TV contract pretty short. TNA is going to get a
pretty TV contract. Coincidence, I think, yeah, because.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
Yeah, because I put on Twitter, you know that the
that the women's division in TNA. It's like before they're
already very like like it was pretty thin. Now it's
like really thin because Alegance and everything going on with Masha,
which she's not coming back anytime soon, and by any
time soon, I mean never. Tessa just came back and
(20:53):
she's kind of been playing nicey nice and whenn't surprising
she appeared during this invasion angle. Yeah, you're going to
be seeing a lot of venexed talents that at least
too much like a Kilanie, like uh, maybe even a Nikita.
I mean also some Triple A talents as well. So
(21:14):
but I mean good, good for Kilonie. I like Kilanie.
I've always liked her. I'm kind of glad she's being
put into this spot. I don't really have.
Speaker 5 (21:24):
To give it.
Speaker 4 (21:26):
I just wish they would have given it to a
girl that kind of used it like Klani just had
like what a year and some change run with the
NX ten Women's North American Championship, Like Jada and Lola
need to be builted. They needed to be builted quickly,
both of them. They're way too good at what they
do right now to not be champion right now, you know, hopefully.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
Exactly because she did have the North American Championship, so
it's not a complete insult to TNA. And you know,
I I think that Lola Vice's future belts are in
Triple A, to be honest, I.
Speaker 5 (22:08):
Mean, yeah, I was great to say that too.
Speaker 4 (22:10):
I think I.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
Cannot stand her when she speaks. She sounds like she's
about to cry constantly as a face. Her talking is terrible,
and her her move set is that of a heel.
I understand it can work for both, but but in
triple A, I'm sure in Spanish that she could be
a face and sound like a badass the same without
you know, sounding like she's whining. So anyway, and she'll
(22:38):
be on the main roster, they'll be fine.
Speaker 4 (22:40):
So what you're telling me is that Lola talks like
jay Z, with jay Z trying to talk something like
he's crying, going to break out, And you know in
the Crime Matter.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
You are assuming a lot of things right there about me,
and I think you. I have no idea what sounds.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
Like it's like, but she showed it a little off.
Speaker 5 (23:06):
What you're talking about, I have nothing. It sounds like
you to cry every time, like jay you good, No,
get off, don't touch me.
Speaker 3 (23:18):
I agree, I agree, no, But I agree with Jeff wholeheartedly.
Like I love Lola, I think she's improved in the ring,
but her promos are just not that good like he
It's weird because her and stephan Her and Stephanie, they
both obviously speak the same language, but Stephanie sounds more
(23:38):
convincing when it's a promo in English, because it sounds
like you believe what she's saying, whereas Lola. You know,
Jeff's hit the nail on the head, you know every
time he says this. She's a natural heel like her
trying to be like, you know.
Speaker 4 (23:53):
Bad bit They got to be bad bitches on the roster, though,
they got to me bad bitches on one roster.
Speaker 5 (23:59):
Yeat fall in him lead.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
You don't think anyone wants to be.
Speaker 4 (24:03):
Jada Parker is a bad bitch. Lash legend is bad bitch.
Laney Reed is a bad bitch. Like everybody's coming from
that bad bitch template.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
It would work as a face. Lash would work as
a face and fallon. Nobody believed that she was going
to be a heel two years ago.
Speaker 4 (24:21):
No, not at all. I didn't see I didn't foresee
that coming at all.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
She looked like the farmer's daughter, for God's sake.
Speaker 5 (24:28):
Well another girl that look like she could be from
around here.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
Yeah. You also, what's the name Ron Sinclair? So another
one that, like you know, it's hard to would believe
as a heel.
Speaker 5 (24:39):
Yeah, she's two.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
That girl's got a lot of energy on the mic
and everything.
Speaker 5 (24:44):
So yeah, I just.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
Another woman's match. Next Whaponi Steel cage match. He had
Jordan Grace and Blake Monroe. I like Blake's entrance. I
really do like her entrance, and the song is starting
to girl me a little bit. Yeah, this is a fun.
Speaker 4 (25:05):
Was that I said, we sing next song at work?
Speaker 3 (25:09):
Oh yeah, it's it's it's basically, you know, we can't
afford Sabrina Carpenters, so we had to find the other
equivalent to it. But but no, this is a fun match.
The crowd seemed to be into it. It was, you know,
weapons and you have two women who know what they're doing.
I think Blake is starting to kind of it's weird
(25:30):
to say this because she's been around for a while,
but it seems like she's grown more comfortable in a
role on the show, and the fans are starting to
take to her a lot.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
Like when you see her, you think Blake run Monro. No,
you don't think Maryana anymore? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (25:43):
Oh no, what? But like, I think the fans are
starting to take to her a lot more because I
don't really think maybe knew how to understand her when
she came in, but she's growing.
Speaker 4 (25:55):
She was only in the States for like what a
year in a w because why people think she was
in like the Indies and the States, But she was
in Japan for most of the time too, So maybe
it's another thing of getting it getting used to an
American audience as well, because Japanese people, they'll eat shit
up in a heartbeat. You can do anything stupid and like,
they'll eat that shit up. But in America, you know,
you gotta work a little bit harder to get you know,
(26:17):
the American fans on your side a little bit.
Speaker 5 (26:19):
So I'm thinking that's another factor as well.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
But continue, I also think she's believable in a role,
like when she comes out and she's the badass, or
when she got that promo saying, you know, I can
make the devil blush like that sounds believable, especially if
you're someone who didn't really follow her career. And I'll
be honest, I wasn't too familiar with her career. I
saw a little bit of her stuff in aw Justin
(26:43):
can probably back that up more than I can. You know, RJ,
you probably can. Jeff, maybe you can. Yeah. But for
somebody that caes hear talking, it sounds legit, like she
sounds like she knows what she's talking about. She's not
just playing a role and Jordan's good. Like, there's really
nothing else I can say. But there was a bit
in the match where where Blake ties Jordan's hands to
(27:06):
the ropes with a hair drard cord and cuts her hair, which.
Speaker 4 (27:10):
Good, atrocious Jordan, Grace gotta stop with that hair. That
is awful. That hair do is awful. Doesn't do her
any favorites. I guess it's a tribute to Luna, but
it's like Luna rocked that shit a whole lot more
better than you did, Sweetheart, stop bad.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
Agreed. I did think. I didn't think the match went
on maybe a few minutes too long towards the end,
but there was a nice spot, you know, with an
air raid crash to the table and Grace got the win.
So I'm I'm gonna guess maybe a third match. It's
gonna happen the matches last woman standing. But but what'd
(27:50):
y'all think.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
Jeff, I don't really buy Blake and Rowe in the
hardcore mat so this seems strange. It seems like she's
someone who should have a heater that's in the hardcore match.
I'd like some of the spots I thought The match
was fine, but I have to be frank with you,
when Jordan Grace came out in all white or hardcore
(28:14):
weaponized in a steel cage match and there was no
blood during this match, that just left me feeling hollow,
because what you don't wear white, you don't advertise this
kind of match, you don't have blood in the story,
you don't cut somebody's hair, have a steel cage. And
they never used the baseball bat, the most impactful weapon
(28:36):
in the whole thing. Nobody used the baseball But I mean,
so listen, the match was fine, but it felt like
a very controlled WWE hardcore match, which the most part
don't really feel like hardcore matches, you know, every like.
There were a couple where where Mischin did some I
think which he was still me a yim in NXT
(28:58):
they went pretty well, and I enjoyed the one with
Russev and Seamus, but honestly, most of those Chile Lee matches,
what is called Donnybrook matches, most of those when it
was like a fight night and with Rich Holland and
Pete Dunn, and I thought most of those stunk, and
this one didn't stink. It was fine. I was never bored.
(29:20):
But it could have just been a regular match. If
they were just going to have Blake lose, I mean,
it should have been something weird where Jordan lost, because
I mean, Blake is the one that's the star, unless
they're planning to have Jordan have a four or five
month run with the NXT Women's title and she goes
(29:40):
to the Royal Rumble and you know, with the NXT title,
doesn't win, and of course and then loses shortly after,
and then there's you know, been on the main roster.
But it didn't make any sense to me. I don't
understand why you're pushing Jordan over Blake. I mean, the
obvious thing is for Jordan to win this match because
(30:02):
she's bigger and stronger, more experienced, and there's weapons. So
the whole point is that is that the sneaky Cannovy
and heels should somehow win and Jordan should have blood
all over wearing all white. So, like the whole story
I concocted in my head before this match and when
it showed up was entirely different than played out. So
you know, maybe it was just my expectations were all wrong,
(30:22):
But I don't know this match just felt it was
just okay for me.
Speaker 4 (30:27):
Dog well, I agree with with a lot what Jeff
said too. I I was a little too controlled, well
well wrestled match, but it was too safe, especially when
you bring up words like hell and blood and I'm
gonna drag you to my level.
Speaker 5 (30:45):
And when you hear words.
Speaker 4 (30:46):
Like that, you're like, oh, yeah, shit, these girls gonna
go ball to the wall. And we've seen Blake Monroe
as Mariah May go balls to the walls with Tony
Storm and a few of the people. She's not afraid
to get down and dirty. Jordan Grace, I don't recall
seeing Jordan Grace do these type of matches, just mostly
(31:07):
because T and A really doesn't do a lot of hardcore.
Speaker 5 (31:10):
Matches, death matches, that that whole type thing.
Speaker 4 (31:13):
I don't even think they really even do cage matches
like that over there.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
So I don't know if commentary said this is this
is both women's first cage match. They didn't say hard
hardcore cage match or weapons cage match. They said cage match.
Speaker 4 (31:27):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (31:28):
See there you go.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
Like like I said, with Mariah May, like I followed
a little bit of her career. She was a stardom,
not a lot of cage matches over there, and stardom
in the aw She was only there for a year,
so it's easy to pinpoint and track down to the
fact that she'd never had a cage match, but Jordan Grace,
she would have thought she would have had one, but no.
But yeah, I just it just felt like they were
(31:51):
both cage matags and I would expect him more from this,
but it was fine. What I got was fine. Not
over the top or great or five star or whatever,
but it was just fine.
Speaker 3 (32:08):
I mean, I agree to both y'all. It was fine
for what it was. I didn't hate it, didn't probably
not can remember it. I just kind of wish that
wwe would really commit to whatever it is they're selling,
because if they're trying to sell, this is going to
be right, and you know, both women aren't going to
(32:28):
walk out the same. It's like, have they had a
cut on them? No bruises at least, It's like, come on,
like we're not expecting. I mean, we would love to
have like Crimson masks, but it's like all the consequences.
At least maybe someone has a cut on their arm
or a bruise or a black eye, So I don't know. Again,
(32:50):
RG took the words out of my mouth. It was safe.
It was a safe WWE styled hardcore match or steel
cage match.
Speaker 4 (32:58):
But yeah, definitely yeah.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
And and then Ava announced that Invasion the Invasion pay
per view from the two thousands or I guess just
from two thousand and one looking back, but it will
be specifically on c W October seventh. It will be
NXC versus TNA the NXC Tacking Champions. Dark State will defend.
(33:26):
Uh well, I guess we'll be a defense on both sides.
We'll go against the TNA Tack Tam Championship Tack Tam Champions,
the Hardys if take all match, I believe. She also
announce Oba Fami versus Trick Williams in a in a
in a match that pretty much has to have a winner.
(33:47):
But I don't know if it's going to be for
the titles now because of what happened, But I know
there will also be picking good.
Speaker 4 (33:59):
Not think she said that because a lot of people
got that mixed up too, that Ober and Trick was
supposed to have a match, but no, she was saying
that it must be a winner and everybody's gonna be banned,
so the same thing wouldn't happen like what happened in
the Ober and.
Speaker 5 (34:12):
Trick match a couple of weeks ago.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
Right, right, there's no Old Trick match because of what
happened during their match. That everybody else's banned, which of
course means that somebody who's a free agent or maybe
Triple A or someone will will at least might have
the Hardy's back. They don't want anything to go wrong
(34:33):
with that match, and the Dark State has four people.
But I mean, I think the main thing was that
there's two Sibar Series matches, one men's and one one's women.
Speaker 5 (34:43):
N XT versus t NA, Yeah, that's gonna be good.
Speaker 4 (34:48):
That should be good. I mean, Tena's got a lot
of like young untapped, a lot of young knockouts and
n x T women, you know, a lot of impressive people.
So that's gonna be good. But the men's side, oh
my god, they gotta work to do.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
Man, it seems like a bit of a I understand
that they're going against Dynamite, which is having Title Tuesday
or whatever they're they're doing that night, be his Dynamites
on Tuesday, but this invasion just started, and to already
go to Survivor series style matches to try to settle it.
(35:23):
I mean, obviously it won't be settled, but it seems
a little rush.
Speaker 4 (35:28):
Yeah, yeah, too rush to rush ma man, I agree,
I agree. You're not even wait, you're not even waiting
a whole month. You're gonna rush into it a couple
of weeks later. Come on, dog, you ain't mean hasn't
even had enough time to digest yet, Like you should
have done this around Survivor series tops. I can get it,
you don't want to overshadow Survivor series, But what's the point.
(35:49):
You ain't doing Survivor series type matches no more. Anyways,
you're doing four games, which I wish they would stop
doing every year. But that's besides the point.
Speaker 5 (35:58):
But yeah, just just keep up with the theme inroverseries.
Do it the week of like that?
Speaker 3 (36:03):
Who carest matter of fact, they should have done war
games for invasion.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
I'm not doing that. It went all of a sudden done.
But I don't know, I mean, doesn't everybody want like
a class like a Real World's Collide, like full review
like ten matches where it's you know, TNA versus NXT people.
All the titles are on the line, you know, all
of you know, a bunch of grudge matches.
Speaker 4 (36:35):
Yeah, I mean to me, that makes more sense. I mean,
especially with that that title name. I mean, if there's
any time to do it, that would be the time
to do it. For sure, World's Collide. You can't get
no no better than that. As far as like these
partnerships go. Come on, I mean, TNA has a lot
of veterans who uh haven't have stepped into W rings.
(36:56):
There's a lot of stories to tell, especially with the
main guys they showed. I mean Macklin was in there,
Young was in there, Baron uh Bat Cardona even popped
his head up in that joint. So there's a lot
of guys who have story history in WW that they
can really get a lot of video packages and a
lot of shit out of them.
Speaker 2 (37:16):
And Joe Hendry is on the fence. I mean, nobody's
even mentioned that. Ethan Page, you know, and his twin brother,
Karate Man, we're both in an impact for a long time.
Speaker 4 (37:29):
Karate oh Man.
Speaker 5 (37:31):
They gotta revive karate Man Man.
Speaker 3 (37:33):
He was great, oh man. But anyway, it all happened
October seventh, so it should be a fun show. Next
as you had for speaking of Ethan Page, you had
the Men's North American Championship, Ethan Page versus Tavi on Heights.
(37:54):
This was I put, this is more of the wrestling
match quote unquote of the of the show, oh all,
I put quote unquote, but I post everything else on
the show that seemed more fast paced or had a gimmick.
This seemed like the only like match where it's like, hey,
here's the two wrestlers having a wrestling match. Nothing offensive,
nothing too fast paced. There's just two guys who know.
(38:17):
I e Ethan and I thought Tavian looked good. This
is probably the best I've seen him since his match
with Mike Santana back on UH I think back in
May and again Ethan. I can't say enough about Ethan.
It's almong how good he's been since joining NXT, you know,
(38:41):
last year. It's almost like he's a completely different person.
No Sean, Sean Michael saw something in him that a
lot of people did, and you know, good for him.
But I didn't expect Tavian to win. I think kind
of everybody thought Tavian was gonna win. But I think
it made sense also with Ethan's side a feud with
(39:01):
uh doctor whatever the name.
Speaker 2 (39:04):
Is, Doctor Wagner the Third, Doctor Wagner.
Speaker 3 (39:10):
There is only one title change on this show, and
that made sense. The other matches, I'm like, it seems
like everybody has a side thing that's going to prevent
them from the title sometimes, which is what causes.
Speaker 2 (39:24):
Them to lose the title or the match.
Speaker 5 (39:28):
True, I hate it.
Speaker 2 (39:30):
But but I don't mind the I'm not really very
invested in Doctor Wagner the Third. There's Lutra Drawers I
like more, but I get it. He's a legend a
man in the world. But at least at least it's
it's it's a it's like a commensurate title versus a
commender a title. They're they're both sort of mid card titles,
(39:51):
so both makes sense. Like you know, in Mexico is
part of North America and Ethan pages and you know
the Northern is part of North America in you know,
in Canada. But so I understand it, and it's for
you know, booking future shows, and that's what wrestling promoters
are supposed to do. But I kind of don't understand
(40:13):
what NXT is for if it's not to have a
veteran like Ethan Page who's been fantastic and was fantastic.
I thought the match was great. I enjoyed the match
a whole lot. I mean, I thought the first match
was also a wrestling match. But my point is, I
don't know really what NXT is for unless it's to
elevate the people who are on the CUSP and give
(40:33):
them a title and see how they do. And it
really seemed like there was a lot of momentum behind
Tavion and he's sort of like, you know, unlike the
Miles bourns is and the you know, the Riley Osbourne's
and you know, Douke Cudson's and all the other people
who have split off from factions in the past and
NXT that sort of have either gone on to do
(40:54):
nothing or be released like Damon Kemp, or go to
the main roster like the Creeds, to be summarily for gotten.
You know. He he he seems like, you know, he's
got they paired him with the Olympic gold medalist already.
You know, I don't know, I just thought that this
would have been the time, But you know, after afterwards,
when we saw doctor Wagner. You can tell why, but
(41:17):
that could have that could have been the excuse, like
that could have been the distraction for Ethan Page to lose.
Tavion get gets developed, and Ethan Page is right back
in the title picture again, just a different title for
a different company.
Speaker 5 (41:32):
Yeah, all right, JA agreed. I agree with Jeff number
one once again. I agree with Jeff completely.
Speaker 4 (41:44):
But I mean, Tavion, it seemed like it was his time,
was his momentum, his flow. Sean Michaels has a bad
habit of breaking up factions for no apparent good reason,
like he did with Chase. You no apparent reason. I
mean two out of the four people in that faction
are gone, unemployed. The hale is nowhere to be seen.
Like why did you break up the group? Why did
(42:04):
you break up the group? I don't understand that.
Speaker 2 (42:08):
No one's even meant to his name, that heritage. He's gone.
Speaker 5 (42:11):
He got hurt again. Yeah, I'm glad gone gone.
Speaker 4 (42:18):
Exactly like Sean, why are you breaking up these acts
if you have no apparent plan for him? I don't
I don't get it. I don't understand it. And the
same thing with Heights here. I thought it was his time.
Speaker 5 (42:28):
Thought heights looked, he looked good in this match. He
didn't do anything overly.
Speaker 4 (42:32):
Impressive or anything like that like I probably would have
thought he would have. But a thought, this match is
well wrestled, pages a good vetch and everything like that.
And he's a good guy to put up against a
lot of these guys. But the to Jeff's point, what's
the point if none of these guys are getting the
ball to see how they do?
Speaker 5 (42:51):
Is champion like I I don't. I don't like that whatsoever.
Speaker 4 (42:55):
And you're gonna waste this guy's momentum that you've been
building for him for a couple of months now for
fucking l he o del doctor Wagner the third for
that fucking guy who as far as I'm concerned, I'm
sorry people that I can hate me all you want.
There's a big tub of gou like. There's nothing to
presses about that dude whatsoever. He had the most boring
matchup that Triplemania. I don't see anything special about that
(43:16):
dude whatsoever. So what if he's fucking Doctor Wagner Junior's son,
I don't give a shit. Doctor Wagner was just a
fucking legend. This guy ain't a fucking legend, and uh
he looks like shit. So I mean, you scratch your
ass with that. As far as I'm concerned, I get it.
Speaker 5 (43:31):
I get it.
Speaker 4 (43:31):
The geographic uh, aspect of the championships.
Speaker 5 (43:35):
I get it.
Speaker 4 (43:36):
This fine, he he ha ha, I got it. But
come on, that's just nothing. And I, you know what,
might as well put that belt on Eathan page to
fucking why you're at it. I don't care at this,
I do not.
Speaker 5 (43:51):
I do not care about that doctor.
Speaker 4 (43:53):
I don't They wasted El Massius's run on that fucking guy.
Speaker 5 (43:57):
Give me a break and that.
Speaker 4 (43:58):
And by the way, this is the same guy that
thought he was too good to be in n B
last year when he was a free agent. I think
he was mad about they didn't want to give him
a bump and pay to come to NXT or.
Speaker 5 (44:12):
Something like that. Like, dude, who the fuck do you
think you are? Who do you think you are?
Speaker 4 (44:16):
You ain't better in the Dragon Lee, You're not better
than any of the guys already have a new contract.
You're not better than who's who's the lowest luchador or
Mexican that they have on the roster on the totem pole.
That would be by booking proxy. I guess the Garzas
in San Francisco bar or Cruise de Tour or Joaquin
Wilde even though jaquer You know what, even those guys
(44:41):
are better wrestle us. I find those guys way more
interested than that dude.
Speaker 2 (44:45):
Fucking I would say the lowest on on the card
of of what's supposed to be Mexican AX would be
the LWO, though one of them is Filipino.
Speaker 4 (44:58):
Yeah, well, even CRU's del Toro is better than fucking
el O del doctor Wagner Jr.
Speaker 5 (45:05):
Give me a get out of.
Speaker 2 (45:06):
Here, no argument there. I mean I think they're better,
but I mean they're not more over in Mexico than
Doctor Wagner Junior because of who his dad is.
Speaker 4 (45:16):
So that is no, no, definitely I agree with that.
But it's just this guy thinks he's he's bigger than
he's smelling his own ship.
Speaker 2 (45:23):
Get out of here, man, come on, But he's But
it's like it's like Brownie James. You're you're raised around
NBA basketball, so you think you're going to be a
star and you're not a star. You stink, but you
still think you should be. I mean, you know, or
maybe what's Deion Sanders Kid's name, Shader Sanders. He's a
sort of like that, so I mean, Doc doctor el
Eco de doctor Wagner Junior has always been l Ego
(45:48):
de a legend, so he's always been roomed to think
he's going to be a legend. So he does think
his ship doesn't stink, and so you know what you know,
it's sort of like Tony conn right raised in the bubble.
Speaker 5 (46:04):
Oh god, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (46:06):
Not everybody can be at Randy Jorton. Not everybody can
be a Stephan Curry. You know, there's just unfortunately there's
uh who is it, Manu.
Speaker 5 (46:17):
I'll tell you what.
Speaker 4 (46:19):
That's even better though, if your dad was a medical
or a mediocre wrestler, you have time to uh to
leap over him ten times over like Randy Orton, like
as Steph Curry. So hell, doctor Dominic mysterio's on prime
to be better than Raymond Stereo, not as far as
(46:39):
like the ring goes, but.
Speaker 5 (46:40):
Like guys, somebody who who just has that presence, man
dom is just he's killing it, bro, that's my guy.
Speaker 3 (46:50):
Yeah, dom certainly is getting there, all right. So next
match is for the NXT Women's Championship. You have j C. Jane.
It was the champion versus Lolavice. The they really did
hype up Lola Ice as the hometown girl. She's from Florida,
(47:12):
or she's from Miami, but you know Florida in general.
You know, they were playing all these vignettes on NXT
really hipping her up as the hometown girl and also
the avenging baby face, so to speak. Her family was dad,
her sister, who's Waite Bueno, who's apparently going to be
a wrestler pretty soon, and that kind of told everybody
(47:35):
she's definitely not waiting this match. But I will say
about the match and match yourself. I thought got better
towards the end evening. It was a little slow. I
can't really say if it was on either girl. I
don't I don't even want to say it was on
either girl. Maybe that was by proxy, but it was
a little slow. The crowd kind of seemed like they
(47:55):
were trying to get into it, but they got more
into it towards the end. She went fellon, got involved
and pulled the referee out and she got thrown out
and that's when the pace started picking a bit more
and I was getting into it. I was like, Okay,
here we go, here we go. The minute that Lola
hit her finisher, and all of a sudden, she does
(48:16):
the whole I hit my finisher. That was too much
power from meious, It's like, ah, here we go. And
while the ref wasn't looking mysterious good, then you go
ahead time no finish, I insist, Okay.
Speaker 2 (48:35):
Well, I mean she did her finish her but her
momentum was going in the other way, so like they
weren't positioned correctly for her for her own finisher's momentum
to carry her like she should have been. I don't
know if if she hit JC on the north and
she was on the south, they should have been. They
should have reversed polarities for her momentum to carry her
(48:58):
further that direction where she fell over the ropes that
looked really artificial. Aside from that, I actually thought the
match was terrific. I thought it was great from beginning
to end all.
Speaker 3 (49:09):
Right, Like as mentioned, a mysterious hooded figure came out
and attacked looking and yeah, I know, and then uh,
Jacey got the win and jac is still the champion.
Jacy didn't even know what happened, but I'm sure she didn't.
(49:34):
Obviously it was Laney. I mean it was suspected because
you know the backleague segment where Laney was talking about
getting heard and Lola, for whatever reason, decides to go
talk to her and then threatens to rip her leg
off or whatever, which like Laney's getting involved somehow.
Speaker 2 (49:54):
And she could fresh frosting, you know, highlights on the
front of her hair that wasn't there two days ago,
So she obviously got injured and went straight to get
her hair done. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (50:03):
That sounds about right. That sounds very very normal, very normal. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (50:10):
Again, I like the match, like I mentioned, started off
a little slow, but it got you know, better towards
the ladder and but go ahead, Arji.
Speaker 4 (50:18):
Yeah, I mean that's a normal WV pace. I don't
think you're gonna see any labate matches starting off the
balls to the wall and ding Phlippy Philippy dode superhero
polls in the middle of the ring.
Speaker 5 (50:28):
I don't think we've be seeing any of that.
Speaker 4 (50:30):
But yeah, no, it told the story, you know, Lola
advice being in the hometown, or as they kept on
saying all night, the shadow of the hometown of Lola
Ice and everything like that with the mom and the
sister and the dad being there and everything that was cool.
Speaker 5 (50:46):
And she lost. So Lola Ice is a loser, so.
Speaker 4 (50:50):
She might want to shake that that ass that devises
the laws of physics to triple A. And when the
when the Rayna del Rayna's Championship over the Shawn Michaels
is like, You're never getting a NXT championship over here, Darling,
and I guess we do.
Speaker 5 (51:09):
I guess we do.
Speaker 4 (51:10):
Jordan Grace and Jacy Jane at this point because I
unless Fallon is the end game.
Speaker 5 (51:17):
If that's not it, then I just.
Speaker 4 (51:18):
Jordan Grace has to win the belt at this point
because I don't see anybody else that's it.
Speaker 2 (51:23):
Well, Fallon's the end game. It's like in a year.
So no, it's not. I mean because they're making fatal
attraction back to three again, which is you know where
it should be minimally, I mean that they should have
eighteen of them for all as far as I'm concerned,
and they could easily populate it, you know, bring the
batties back.
Speaker 5 (51:40):
Yeah, I agree, I'm what you did.
Speaker 4 (51:42):
Jeff tag me in for that that's right.
Speaker 2 (51:48):
Yeah, I got no comments, Yeah, I I but I
do think, yes, I think it's probably gonna be Jordan
Grace laying down the next Falons, whether or not it's
I mean, I think when this happens and you add
a new member of the faction, you know, either it's
got to explode immediately or it's going to add at
least ninety days to the title run. So yeah, even
in NXT time, Yeah, true, true.
Speaker 3 (52:13):
Yeah, it is weird to think about because it's like
because I was thinking, like because I was almost for
sure that Lola was gonna win, because I'm thinking, like,
if not her, then who because Jordan already had a shot.
It's not to say she can't get enough. They're wrestling Fallon,
Love Fallon, but it's like, if pull that sugger, you
would have done it already, and everybody else kind of
(52:36):
seems like their book Jada, Jada's booked, fucking Kilonie's doing
her thing in TNA. We can forget about Marsho Ring
or Posher. Who else thea is like nowhere to be found.
She's just making tiktoks of her drinking coffee and going
(52:58):
to the beach. With her big ass, you can stay
the big boyfriend. I don't know, Like, what was that he's.
Speaker 2 (53:07):
In Japan now, he's he's with Charlie Dempsey at Noah,
her boyfriend Lewis Yeah, Lewis Yeah.
Speaker 3 (53:16):
But I don't know. I mean Jordan. I wouldn't mind
Jordan because you mean you brought Jordan into NXT and
I would think the endgame with her is to be
a champion.
Speaker 5 (53:28):
And call up to the main roster more than anything.
Speaker 3 (53:32):
Right, So I mean again, I love I love jay C.
I'm a j C guy. I've always been a JC guy,
and I'm happy that she's being put into the spot
and they're not just making her like a one and
done champion. They're actually giving her time to really build
up her her status as you know, the top girl
in NXC. So I'm happy for that. But I.
Speaker 4 (53:55):
Like the fact that they kind of alluded to that
on on commentary constantly, that people think she's a flu
she's a one and done champion, and this, that and
the other. I kind of like that because that that's
what a lot of people think, include myself. I'm not
really high on Jacy Jane like that. I think she's cool.
But like that's just about it. Like I'm not not
over the moon about her.
Speaker 3 (54:17):
I've always liked her. I liked her even in a
toxic attraction. I thought, you know, everybody liked Mandy for
obvious reasons. Everybody liked for obvious reasons, and I was,
I was. I feel like I was the only one
looking at Jason, going I think jac is a better
one in my opinion.
Speaker 2 (54:31):
But you know, mish was was the one who coined
filthy for her. But but yeah, that was definitely the
minority opinion.
Speaker 3 (54:39):
But no, no, no, you're not girl I grew up with
inurban New York. Yeah, she's a Jersey girl, right, I.
Speaker 2 (54:52):
Don't know where she's from, but she might as wealth be.
I mean she I mean, I'm from Long Island, but
she reminds me of like, yeah, the suburbs of Philly,
the suburbs of New Jersey, this suburbs of Westchester, the
suburbs and Long Island, you know, and in the better
parts of the outskirts of the city. I mean, she
could have been anyone that I did that I ever
knew from a summer camp or from you know that
(55:12):
when I had summer jobs or whatever, and even a
few in my own high school.
Speaker 3 (55:18):
Yeah, but it's not filthy, it's filthy.
Speaker 4 (55:23):
Well, yeah, her name is that Jayce Jane. Her name
is that Jacy Jane is Janet jack Me, dammit, RECTI
Peece Kevin Castle.
Speaker 3 (55:32):
Okay, Janet or j C motherfucking.
Speaker 4 (55:36):
Yeah, Okay for Jennie Jackman. I think she's all right,
But that's just about it.
Speaker 3 (55:48):
I'm almost positive Kevin said this about somebody. I'm thinking
Oscar where or it was either Oscar or somebody where
he just goes for me professionally or sexually. That was
you I was talking about. Oh damn Yeah, maybe that's
(56:11):
why he was pretending to hate me, to hate me
so much because he secretly won. No, I like, I
can't talk about Kevin like that.
Speaker 2 (56:21):
It does this line is no good anyway.
Speaker 3 (56:26):
Yeah, okay, but AnyWho, let's go on to the main event.
Main event, NXC Championship BEFEMI the Champion versus Ricky Saints
Good main event. I thought delivered. I thought it was
pretty solid. I like the story in it of Oba
not really taking Ricky seriously. I mean even been on Tuesday,
(56:51):
they're on Grayson Waller's show or the Waller effect that
all Oba can talk about is Trick Williams and not
really Ricky Saints. So there was a good underdog story
to tell with Ricky. I also like the offense that
Ricky got in where you knew, damn well, he wasn't
gonna be able to pick up Oba and do Rose Chambeau.
He had to be more creative with how he beat him,
(57:14):
and so he used the table to do a to
do a DDT which the table didn't break, and then
did two more ddts. He did another hur and run
a DDT for the win, which I didn't really see
that coming. But I thought it was creative how he
beat him. But overall thought, I thought it was a
really good match. I thought it was a really good
main event. It delivered on all the spots that was
(57:34):
supposed to deliver on. Happy for Ricky. It's almost it's
crazy a thing about that he debuted earlier this year,
back in like what March, March or.
Speaker 2 (57:47):
Yeah, it sounds like it was he going there six months.
Speaker 3 (57:49):
Yeah, and he's already the NXC champion, so and he
was the North American champion as well. But so good
for Ricky. I mean, it's one of those stories where
it's like, I like, Ricky good.
Speaker 4 (58:00):
Drew, are you really surprised? I mean, you know how
paper thin the top of the NXT men's card is.
Speaker 3 (58:08):
Surprised.
Speaker 4 (58:09):
Me and Jeff as a pairing could debut on NXT
tomorrow and be fucking NXT North American Champion if we
wanted to, with me being a wrestler, him being a manager,
or him being a wrestler and I'm being a manager.
Come on, Jeff, you can do it. Come on, man,
you put some of those guys in that place.
Speaker 3 (58:31):
Oh no, I'm not trying to say I'm surprised. I'm
just I'm happy. I'm obviously happy for Ricky. It's just
again I'm saying I'm it's crazy to think about that
he debuted earlier this year, because this has been a
long ass year. That's kind of where I was going
at with everyone debuting and leaving and whatnot. But no, again, which,
by the way, I wouldn't mind seeing a pairing with
(58:53):
you two an NXC. Jeff, you're definitely a manager.
Speaker 5 (58:56):
Oh my god, that'd be great.
Speaker 4 (59:00):
Instead of talking all the time, I could be like,
I'm not saying anything without my lawyer.
Speaker 5 (59:05):
Just doesn't just does all the talking. I'm not saying anything.
Speaker 2 (59:08):
Yeah, and you're surrounded by all those South Carolina girls
the whole time.
Speaker 3 (59:14):
Oh yeah, I'm just sired. I don't know. I'm just
out here talking shit. Be like, come on, r J.
You're a savage, right, come on, be savage. Say something, savage,
tough guy.
Speaker 2 (59:28):
A bunch of South Carolina underground wrestlers come out of rescue.
Speaker 4 (59:33):
Yeah, there you go. I got oh give me that
that Cody Coke gimmick I was telling you about Drew.
You know how Cody trains all the wrestlers and everything
like that. Nobody would ever touch Cody. I can get
a bunch of South kill any and you know, trainy
wrestlers to uh, you know, take bullets for me.
Speaker 2 (59:51):
A bunch of Risco look handsome.
Speaker 3 (59:56):
You'd be like that Argia. It can be like that
scene in Daredevil with the shades where he's like first name, Loy,
last name year, Like that's all you say. You just say, lawyer, Yeah,
there you go. Oh man, that'd be great.
Speaker 4 (01:00:14):
Just hits me upside the head with the loaded briefcase.
Roll up one, two three, Jeff puts my foot on
the rope behind the reference back there you go. That's
that's old school heel heat right there.
Speaker 2 (01:00:24):
I'll keep I think I'll have like a little gavel.
Speaker 5 (01:00:29):
The gavel, yeah, there you go.
Speaker 4 (01:00:32):
It was like it's like really metal, Like it looks
like it's Wolden, but it's like really metal, like oh man,
bam right the head.
Speaker 3 (01:00:41):
The way you interfere, uh but the way you interfere
it the way you interfere in matches, you just yell objection.
Speaker 4 (01:00:52):
You know what.
Speaker 5 (01:00:52):
That'd be great, actually, I.
Speaker 2 (01:00:54):
Mean there's a whole bunch of fun there. Because I
have a Blacks law dictionary. You could you could have
a briefcase. You could have a Ali Burton mm hmm.
You could. You could throw a bunch of papers in there,
like contracts and people slip on them.
Speaker 4 (01:01:11):
That contract was terminated. Ah man, all that paper we're
gonna rain, dog, Come on, that's not the way you
do it.
Speaker 5 (01:01:22):
Was just chilling for me and Jeff there. Five minutes
later he got a problem on how we do it.
Speaker 4 (01:01:27):
That's not right, man, Come on, dog, God damn it
not again. Come on, random Carolinian girl getting the room.
Speaker 3 (01:01:38):
You know what the.
Speaker 4 (01:01:40):
Distractor referee? Why me and Jeff do our dacardly deeds. Ah,
that'd be great. We can go up to a year
with that, honestly, Jeff.
Speaker 3 (01:01:50):
Just Jeff is a natural heel.
Speaker 5 (01:01:56):
Exactly, and that's what you need.
Speaker 4 (01:01:58):
You need, you need somebody that's gonna piss the people off,
Like Kick Cass says, being a you gotta be committed
to being a heel, and being a heel means pissing the.
Speaker 5 (01:02:06):
People off to the point where they want to see
you get your ass whoop.
Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
I just I just love the idea of you just
saying speak without my lawyer presence and you're just in
the back cheasing, while Jeff is just like making the
crowd irate. And then he answered with I sentence, you
want to kiss my ass, Mike, that's you know what,
that's good, That's actually good.
Speaker 4 (01:02:34):
And Jeff could just say it so subtly too, Like
that's the perfect part about it too. Jeff doesn't have
to say it in.
Speaker 5 (01:02:40):
An angry tone.
Speaker 4 (01:02:40):
He gets say it in just the smoothest tone in
the world, and that would be enough to start people
just start raging at him, or they'll or to have
a sense of humor like me start busting out laughing though,
So I mean, you can't really lose.
Speaker 5 (01:02:53):
It's gonna be entertaining any way.
Speaker 2 (01:02:55):
You know.
Speaker 3 (01:03:00):
Uh, Jeff, you're awesome, but uh but uh no this
main event? Would you? What'd y'all think about the main event?
Speaker 4 (01:03:10):
Jeff? You want to go?
Speaker 3 (01:03:12):
Sure?
Speaker 2 (01:03:14):
I sort of felt a little bit about it, the
way I felt about the hardcore match, the page match,
It's sort of it sort of felt very artificial to me.
I don't take Ricky seriously either, and I don't take
Ricky seriously against Oba Fami me. I get the story.
Speaker 3 (01:03:33):
I heard it.
Speaker 2 (01:03:33):
They did it well. I guess they want to pull
a trigger on Ricky because they want to fast pay,
fast track them up to the main roster. I don't
see what everybody else sees in him. I don't see
a superstar. I see a I see a minor league star.
But you know, I've been wrong before, maybe I'll be
wrong again. But small doesn't tend to succeed on the
(01:03:56):
main roster, especially as a solo star. Sometimes you know
they're in a group or something like that, but on
their own they don't do well. And the main roster
doesn't really do groups. I mean, they've kept the WIAT
six together. But that's about it. All the other groups
they they've killed for you know, whatever reason or reasons.
(01:04:18):
I would have preferred to have seen Obo win. I
know he's got to lose at some point and to
go up to the main roster, and then we'll probably
you know, have him, you know, to for his ego
to captain the Survivor Series team or whatever for NXT,
and maybe he won't care because he'll he'll be like
I don't care about NXT anymore, or some story like that.
(01:04:38):
But there was nothing wrong with the match was fine.
I just it It just felt like very much when
NXT first rebranded to NXT two point zero with all
the bright colors and all of the wrestlers were obviously
like you know, had like eighteen months experience. This is
what that felt like to me.
Speaker 3 (01:05:00):
All right, what about you are, Jane?
Speaker 4 (01:05:05):
Yeah, I thought the match wasn't anything specially in particular.
I did like the story of it that Obo was
looking over him, uh, straight through him, and not looking
at him as a viable challenger. I did like that,
and I knew Obo was losing as soon as Vic
Joseph mentioned that. Besides Tiffany Stratton Oberfim was the longest
(01:05:28):
reigning current champion in WWE right now all together collectively,
I was like OBUs was in that belt when they
saying when they put lines like that, usually it's over,
and I wasn't wrong.
Speaker 5 (01:05:42):
I like the way they got there though, the d
d T on the on the desk on the floor,
then the one out of the power bound counter and
then the Tornado ropes. I like the way they did it.
Speaker 4 (01:05:56):
Ricky.
Speaker 5 (01:05:58):
It's really tricky with Ricky bars, but I think Ricky
is a great talker. He presents himself very well. He
doesn't do anything over the top or anything egregious in
the ring, so he's he's like stuck in the middle. Jeff,
I get what you're saying. I don't think he's gonna
(01:06:21):
be a WrestleMania main inventor, but I think he's gonna
be a good, solid mid card guy.
Speaker 4 (01:06:27):
And like Kevin Castle got Rest of Soul used to
say all the time, there's nothing wrong with that. You
can understand that somebody might have higher aspirations, and I mean,
sure wrestler should have higher aspirations, but I think that's
probably his ceiling and that's just pretty much hit, whereas
Oba Famy obviously that guy. I mean, I'm pretty damn
(01:06:49):
sure anybody that's listening right now would agreed it is.
How can you fuck up an ober Fami? How could
you fuck that up? We're gonna see whether the Triple
A's does it or not, but how could you fuck
that up? There is nothing that this brother does wrong,
cuts a good promo, looks good, has great presence, has
a great physical charisma to him. Just oh my god,
(01:07:17):
he makes that shitty music work. He makes that basic
it's not shitty music, but he makes that basic music
work like he really does. And sometimes the man has
to make the music a little bit.
Speaker 2 (01:07:28):
He doesn't have an easy beat to walk to. And
then like you could see him find his cadence and
he gets it and it's just it's it's just perfect.
I mean, I don't know, I'm a big old guy.
I think just like I don't think, you know. I mean,
one thing that's different about the w W now than
there was from like the Tito Santana days, is that
(01:07:49):
back then there was a mid card. And yes, of
course there's still a mid card. There's always a mid card,
but I mean your main event could you know you
know now that the thought is either you're the first
of your or last. I mean, WW has a low card,
and then people who can slide up and down the
card they don't like. Is it unbelievable to think that
(01:08:10):
Seamus could be in a world title picture? No? Is
it impossible to think he could have a world title
It's not likely, but impossible.
Speaker 3 (01:08:17):
No.
Speaker 2 (01:08:18):
I mean aj style slides up and now, Finn Baller
slides up and down. They mean pre slides up and down.
Drew McIntire slides up and down. I mean there's a
few guys that seemingly you're always on top, and then
you have your low card guys that they're either in
factions or low card like Otis is gonna be parentally
low card, Tazawa's parentially low card. You know, it's so,
don't I don't know that which you know. I'm sure
(01:08:40):
there's an equivalent for the same kind of career that
Kevin was talking about, you know, but now it's probably
more like your eight to ten year Baron Corbyn career.
Get released and either you know, live off your laurels,
kill it in the indies, maybe make your way back,
or just kill it in the Indies, and then and
then at some point, you know, you know, do podcasts
or whatever the hell else you do. Yeah, but I
(01:09:02):
don't know that there's a role for what we used
to think of as a solid mid Carter. I mean,
look at Camarlo Carmelo Hayes. He's struggling to find anything.
I mean what Santos Escobar doing. No, I mean, Triple
A is A is a goddamn blessing to these guys.
I'm sure half of them are disappointed that they can't
work with TNA or they haven't been able to work
(01:09:23):
with TNA, because that could have been another place for
them to go.
Speaker 5 (01:09:27):
I don't I don't get that.
Speaker 4 (01:09:29):
See you saying that right there, What you're saying right
there should be a reason why they should just go
ahead and let some of those guys just work TNA.
Speaker 5 (01:09:37):
That's sometimes I sco ball work at TNA.
Speaker 4 (01:09:40):
Let those guys do something, Let them earn their keep,
Carmelo Hayes hitting it right now on the main roster.
Let them go to TNA.
Speaker 5 (01:09:47):
What's so wrong with that? I don't understand that.
Speaker 4 (01:09:49):
I don't understand why they you just can't let them
go for stints, not for a one appearance, a one
shot appearance for stints.
Speaker 5 (01:09:56):
I don't get the same thing with an Omas.
Speaker 4 (01:09:59):
I was so mis angry they're doing it.
Speaker 2 (01:10:04):
I think that they're not doing that because it's it's
not in their long term plan to do that, and
they are trying to. They're either helping overtly or at
least tacitly TNA get a TV contract, And I don't
think they want that TV contract to be based on
the innuendo that there's gonna be main roster talent on
TNA with any frequency. They wanted to be known that
(01:10:25):
it's going to be NXT and that's what the TV
deal is going to be better based on. And then
after that maybe they'll get a little bit more flexible,
you know, for the renewal or whatnot. But I don't
think they if the TV contract fails, you know, doesn't
it doesn't happen. I don't think they want to be
and you sent aj Styles there and they still didn't
get a TV contractor or that the TV or that
(01:10:48):
the company says we thought you were going to be
sending those people like Aj Styles and Finn Balor and
you know in solo Socoa and instead you're just sending
us like Tony DiAngelo and Nico Kuzofino, you know, you're
in breach of contracts. So I think that's the backstory
behind it. I also do think they wanted to keep
(01:11:08):
it to an NXT TNA feud where if TNA is
the babyface and they finished the story ultimately, it doesn't
really hurt WWE. It's it's it's still their developmental brand,
you know, and they you know, probably right after they
call up like you know, six of the top prospects,
they you know, that's when NXT loses, So they're already
(01:11:29):
a weekend the next thing.
Speaker 4 (01:11:32):
Yeah, yeah, I mean I can see that. I just
to me, it just it feels like you should do
something with some of your players. If you just don't
keeping some of these people, do something with them, you know,
like Omas, Like, it's frustrating to me that he went
over to Japan, got over nicely, was looking pretty damn
good over there, and was Tag team champion. It was
(01:11:53):
helping that group get over with Yoshi Tatsu and uh
those Is Ozawa and some of those other guys help
those guys get over, and then all of a sudden
they pull them for what we thought was gonna be
maybe a little stretch, a little run into the roy rumble,
but it never happened. And it's like, why the fuck
did you pull this guy from Japan when he was
over there killing it?
Speaker 2 (01:12:13):
But what they're not doing with him bizare? I mean,
I don't know what they just don't put him in
the vision and have him stand behind seth Rollins just.
Speaker 3 (01:12:23):
So much.
Speaker 4 (01:12:26):
I even pitched the idea of having him be dominant
Mysterios bodyguard, have him come, have Dominic coming on his
fucking shoulders, like why not?
Speaker 2 (01:12:36):
Or greens protective squad. That doesn't have to be the
that ain't all that the secret herbst.
Speaker 5 (01:12:44):
That that would be hilarious. Actually, that'd be kind, that'd.
Speaker 2 (01:12:48):
Be serious almost anything, Yes, and you just.
Speaker 4 (01:12:52):
Waste that dude is nothing right, the guy that big.
He should be on TV doing something. If you're not
a fan of his wrestling, fine, Even though to me,
Omas is not offensive at all. I don't find anything
he does like as far as wrestling wise, is offensive
at all.
Speaker 5 (01:13:12):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (01:13:13):
He's yes, yes, and he can fucking move.
Speaker 5 (01:13:18):
He's not a car.
Speaker 4 (01:13:18):
He's not a train wreck like Kylie like he can move.
I don't.
Speaker 5 (01:13:22):
I don't get it.
Speaker 4 (01:13:23):
I don't get it. Why there's nothing for this guy
to do, absolutely nothing, I don't get it. Whereas they
put guys.
Speaker 2 (01:13:31):
Almost picture just that image alone was should have been,
should have gotten him on TV and exactly. And I
don't think the failure to do things like this is
part of the reason why people aren't watching the ww
main roster nearly as much. I mean, there's a confluence
of reasons, of course, including that there's a monthly pl
so what do you need to watch the TV shows for?
(01:13:54):
Plus now they did this new AESPN thing which was
not nearly as easy as or as free as they led.
You know, lots of people to believe. I mean, I
have ESPN in four different places and none of them
was this. So it's like I have the app, I
have the old app on my phone, I've got I've
got the the app on my smart TV. I've I've
(01:14:14):
got ESPN through my Disney, you know, with with my
Disney and I have you know, all the regular ESPN
channels and you know they Joe tested tour. More than
one said, if you have ESPN, you you have this
it's not gonna cost you anything more. That's just like
fucking I'm not watching I can live very easily with
(01:14:35):
without without WW Main Roster Wrestling. Uh you know NXT
still being on peacock Is was like my little happy day.
And now we have TNA gets a TV deal, I
have two hours more time to watch it because I
watch smack. Then you know, if MLW gets a TV
deal and they actually back to weekly as opposed to
once a month, which is easy as pie, I have
(01:14:56):
time because I'm not watching raw.
Speaker 5 (01:15:00):
Yeah, I agree that.
Speaker 4 (01:15:02):
By the way, I'm going to m o W on
the November the twentieth when they come to South Carolina, Jeff,
So I'm looking forward to that.
Speaker 2 (01:15:10):
Still any of my best friends from me, Oh no.
Speaker 4 (01:15:14):
I'm definitely gonna go up to mister Thomas and be like, hey,
mister t Hey, I see the work you be doing
with my uncle Jeff Man, Like what you want to do?
Speaker 3 (01:15:24):
Man? All right?
Speaker 2 (01:15:27):
That dude I like to eat or he'll be your friend.
Speaker 5 (01:15:32):
Definitely I can.
Speaker 4 (01:15:34):
I can.
Speaker 5 (01:15:34):
Definitely, I can show him a couple of places now.
He's probably got.
Speaker 2 (01:15:39):
Loves team thinks he can eat more than anybody in
one sitting.
Speaker 4 (01:15:45):
That's what's up.
Speaker 5 (01:15:45):
That's what's up.
Speaker 4 (01:15:46):
I mean they probably have to go there early in
the day because some of these spots they closed a
lot early. If he likes seafood, I know a damn
good seafood spot. Man, But it's a little bit. It's
like an hour away from Charleston.
Speaker 5 (01:15:59):
But he's not doing that.
Speaker 2 (01:16:04):
But yeah, man, this place, the city which which is
not Thomas is not fucking around in suburban and country
South Carolina. I am sorry. He is just not going.
Speaker 4 (01:16:22):
Yeah, I mean it's an urban cowboy urban cowboy ship.
He hmm, shit, he might like while I live that thing.
You say he's an urban cowboy. He might where I
live at I mean the dirty broo like. I mean
that don't still my best friend. If he if he
comes to live with you, I may have to come.
Speaker 2 (01:16:42):
Live with you too.
Speaker 5 (01:16:46):
I mean we can we can.
Speaker 4 (01:16:48):
We can help uh refix my house and retoose some things.
Speaker 5 (01:16:51):
That'd be great.
Speaker 2 (01:16:53):
I don't think I don't do anything. I just don't
do anything.
Speaker 4 (01:16:59):
Well. I got plenty of TV, so I got plenty
of TVs. I got three computers, I got uh, I
got two xboxes one PS. I mean I got plenty
for you know, my guests to do. That's what people
are coming out.
Speaker 2 (01:17:15):
I watch YouTube videos on Essatica and and I and
I slowly let myself drifts go. Yeah, I already knew that.
Then I switched to another one and I fall asleep
midway through the next one.
Speaker 5 (01:17:29):
That sounds about right, honest to God, sounds about right.
Speaker 2 (01:17:32):
The Demiurge again, Now I already knew about that. Next
the Cult of Anama. That sounds interesting.
Speaker 3 (01:17:41):
Yeah, that sounds like a good sound. R And Jeff, Hey,
he's the man.
Speaker 5 (01:17:49):
He's the man.
Speaker 3 (01:17:50):
One's a lawyer, one's of Brooklyn Savage.
Speaker 2 (01:17:55):
But they're both in South Carolina.
Speaker 4 (01:17:57):
But they're both in South Carolina.
Speaker 3 (01:18:00):
And get up today, all right. So alright, so grade number, grade,
letter grade, whatever would y'all think? I want to start?
Speaker 5 (01:18:15):
Be minus?
Speaker 3 (01:18:18):
That sounds fair enough. Be minus. Match, The Night Lease
Hurt Match, the Night.
Speaker 5 (01:18:25):
Oh Match, The Knight for me was probably the opener.
Speaker 4 (01:18:29):
Honestly, I was into the opener a little bit more
than an NXT Championship match, I would probably say. And
it wasn't because it was a bad match necessarily because
it wasn't a bad match, but the speed match, So yeah,
I'd probably go with that.
Speaker 6 (01:18:44):
But my match of the night was definitely the opener,
all right, Jeff, My match of the night was North
American title match. Even though I wanted tave On to win,
I still thought it was an excellent match. I was
entertained the entire time. Close runner up would be Jason
Jane Lowlivice. I thought that was a I thought that
was a very good match. My least favor match of
(01:19:05):
the night because of what was the title match.
Speaker 2 (01:19:08):
It's not that I didn't like it. I didn't like
the ending. I never believed anything about Ricky Saints. I
have to believe, though, I have to agree that objectively speaking,
the Speed Match was probably the worst match of the night.
I mean, the whole five minute thing. I think the
speed thing is just stupid. They should just bring back
cruiserweight titles and just have them defended across all the brands.
Speaker 3 (01:19:30):
Yeah, it almost seems like it's going around like we
all didn't. We all didn't really care for the Speed Match,
not necessarily because it was bad, because not really something
that I don't think.
Speaker 2 (01:19:42):
If these folks can be beaten five minutes, why does
it take them like fourteen minutes to be beaten in
other circumstances.
Speaker 3 (01:19:50):
Very true. My favorite my favorite match mentioned the night
the North American title match. I thought I was good
love Ethan Page and I'm starting to like Tavi on
Ice Moore I see him. And also the women's title,
the NXC women That was probably a close second, but
(01:20:12):
that's no mercy. People will more than likely be back
next month or Halloween havoc, so look out for that,
and uh, I will see y'all probably tomorrow for colure.
I'll need to ask Rubin about that, and if not,
Wednesday for the Experience nine pm Central Time every Wednesday
(01:20:34):
on YouTube and also in the Wrestling Soup Discord and
then Twitter x d y Experience TikTok Dreari and also
subscribe to the YouTube channel. But guys, go ahead and
play your stuff. Whoever wants to start?
Speaker 2 (01:20:50):
How'd I go ahead?
Speaker 3 (01:20:52):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (01:20:52):
You follow me on exit low RG unlimited where my
words have it's whatsoever? So if you don't like that,
don't follow me and catch me doing these shows with
Drew friendly neighborhood marks every other Thursday. All we've been
hammering them out of hole here lately.
Speaker 3 (01:21:11):
Though, so one just came out yesterday, so check that out.
Speaker 4 (01:21:16):
Yeah, check that out everywhere where you can find podcasts
at and follow me on Twitch at d r g
j x X. Well you know, I stream uh.
Speaker 5 (01:21:28):
Matches from.
Speaker 4 (01:21:31):
This car fed that I you know, co own, like
I'm one fifth of the owner of this this fed,
So yeah, follow me on there. We stream matches. We
stream hold cards from well on rather on Tuesdays, Thursdays
(01:21:52):
and sometimes on Sundays. So yeah, follow me over there,
and yeah, just have a good time with us, and
I would just chill out enjoy matches. If you like
video games and like watching original characters and stuff like
that being played out and being portrayed, then yeah, I
(01:22:13):
think that's the spot for you right there.
Speaker 5 (01:22:14):
I think you might enjoy it. You might like it,
so yeah, just check us out. But other than that,
that's it.
Speaker 2 (01:22:21):
So if you want to follow me on the X
for wrestling nonsense, you can find me a dose underscore
Evil on a regular account. I'm really not particularly active there.
I'm actually more active on Facebook, which is under my name.
If you don't know what, it's Jeff Lippman. But if
you don't know it, you probably shouldn't be following me
on Facebook. I'm a little political there, so just just
be warned as far as podcasts are concerned, in some
(01:22:47):
organizational order, but not an order of importance by any
means in either way, shape or form. Because Fury Road
is on YouTube right now. MLW's Fury Road, which spoiler
was the second half of the live show two weeks
ago that was in Dallas, so it's not like I'm
(01:23:07):
missing something live. But me and Marie Shadows will be
reviewing that. So maybe tomorrow night we'll we'll do the
record the podcast, and she's pretty good about getting them
downloaded on the Squared Circle podcast, so that's her stuff.
So if you want to hear that, cool, And I'm
sure we'll be doing the same thing this week after Slaughterhouse,
(01:23:30):
which is live by the way and in LA And
that's the only hits I'm going to give you of
something I don't know for sure, but think okay. On
the wrestling soup I do periodically, I do a show
called body Slam Briefs. Miss published one of them about
a week and a half ago and it was on
ol Coogan's estate and some of the possible permutations and
(01:23:53):
some things that people might be scratching their head about
and hopefully I have some answers, pose some questions, but
maybe had some answers to and we can all play
along together by seeing what happens in the future. I
also do a show on the Wrestling Soup Prime Network
with lu Fisto. We do the LFTG review show. That's
Legends and Future Greats, the reality show. So we're getting
(01:24:17):
we're into the finals. We're into the playoffs now and
we'll take it to the end and then we're going
to do one retrospective with an actual wrestling fans. Also
a psychologist who's gonna do some analyze some of our
dime store psychology and what she thinks of the jobs
the coaches did and some of the characters. On the
(01:24:39):
Wrestling Soup and Friendoze feed, which is a separate feed
and it's not everywhere. It's not an Apple. I know
it's on Spreaker, it might be other places who I'm
not sure, but I do the Evolve review show. It's
also on the Don Reynolds and Why Chocolate YouTube channel,
and we also do it live on the Discord usually
after the Thursday Night Soup show is over. About fifteen
(01:24:59):
minutes after wards. It's called The Dose of Chocolate and
it's dedicated to evolve the single a w WE developmental show.
So if you wanted to know where Ridge Holland has
been aside from TNA last week, that's that's where he's been.
And the key lines to my shows they're called the
Guarden I thought, and generally speaking there's two to three
(01:25:22):
of those a week. One is called The Gospel of
Thomas with my co host mister Thomas. It previously was
The Book of Black and we talked to people in
the wrestling Monday I'm generally but not wrestling stuff Monday,
I'm going to publish the show with the epic Doug Mallow.
You don't know him from wrestling probably, but you know
him because he's the guy who pulled Roger Jackson off
(01:25:43):
of styiclist to he's he's the only person that promotion
that did a damn thing. So we talked to him
about food and stuff, and then some of my other
shows are just dropped. The show with John White from
Craignford on Dragons and Serpents and uh other fun stuff.
We're also working on limited series on the show Dark,
(01:26:04):
which was on Netflix, and it's sort of like a
time travel kind of show that people were begging me
to watch. And we're going to do three shows, doing
seasons one, two, and three each per episode, and we've
recorded two three of them so far, so that's plenty.
But it's all on Guarden of Thought, it's all free,
it's on every podcast platform that you could possibly imagine.
(01:26:25):
So thank you for giving me your attention.
Speaker 3 (01:26:30):
All right, people, we are out. I hope you all
enjoyed tonight's show. And I want to thank our Jay
and As and of course Jeff Flippman for beyond tonight's
show work the way. So thank you, gentlemen, and that
is it.
Speaker 2 (01:26:47):
Later, And.
Speaker 3 (01:27:09):
I'm tired of your lies.
Speaker 5 (01:27:11):
I'm tired of it dry.
Speaker 3 (01:27:14):
I don't think my eyes the more or less, I
have no no thing do.
Speaker 4 (01:27:23):
It's nine. It's nine.
Speaker 3 (01:27:27):
Say not see your soul.
Speaker 1 (01:27:34):
I'll say, let's see your soul.
Speaker 2 (01:27:43):
I say, let see your soul.
