get didn't get a chance to get your thoughts on it.
Uh So I guess to kind of be quick, what
were your thoughts on the return of aj Lee on
SmackDown and also on the Monday night Raw that followed that.

Happy that people are happy that she's back?

Speaker 2 (01:45):
I will, I guess my follow up question is, what
does that mean?

Speaker 3 (01:50):
I'm happy that people are happy that she's back. So
I wasn't. I didn't really care if she came back
one way or another, it was good to see her, right,
But I I mean I'm I wasn't like a huge
aj Lee fan, so you know, we talked about this
a couple of weeks back, so my point still stands.

I mean, it's good to have her back, you know
what I mean, But I'm not gonna be like, oh
my god, aj Le's back, Like, no, no, cool moment,
great moment, very happy for happy for her, happy for punk.
It seems like she's very refreshed, right, But I'm happy,
But I'm mostly happy for the people who are happy

for that A j Le's back, because you know, there's
a lot of people out there that A j Lee
you meant to them.

So yeah, I mean I'm happy that she's back. I
mean I was I the biggest aj fan, yes, and no,
I mean I thought she was around at a time
when women's wrestling was still seen as an as like
an attraction or a novelty. And then right around the
time when she left, that's when it started to get

taken more seriously in WWE. So who's to say how
her career were to panned out if she was around
at a different time, you know, in the company. But again,
I think it was kind of like the worst kept secret,
you know, for WWE, it was that she was coming back.
You know. It was like with CM Punk whenever he
debuted in ae W, It's like everyone kind of figured

he was going to come back because they sold out
the United Center, you know, for CM Punk to come out,
and in this case, they sold out the was it
the All State Arena in Chicago, to which everyone kind
of figured, yeah, something BIG's gonna happen. And you know,
lo and behold, AJ came out, and I mean I

didn't like mark out or anything. I didn't like, you know,
go crazy. I was like, Oh, it's AJ. She's you know, cool.
You know, she still kind of looks the same, but
looks better. You know, she's definitely more toned, more jacked.
And it was nice seeing people online react to it.
I know, there's kind of been some back and forth,

you know, among people that we know or friendly with

I guess people are actually correct. I mean again, I
I work in a wrestling shop and there's a lot
of girls who are in their early twenties to maybe
mid twenties who are u JJ Lee fans.

I mean, so, I mean, I'm not gonna I'm not
gonna question ones being authentic about it, especially if they're
if they're young, if they're like my age, I'm like, oh,

what I mean. But like if you're if you're like young,
you're gonna get excited for guys like aj Lee. Just
there's a huge like I get asked like at least

a couple of times a month. You can't even send
cars stuff like to you and me, like send Carl
like the guy sucked or whatever. Right, But there's people
out there who lovea So you know, it's just a
just a different generation. That's you know what I mean.
And again, like I said, I am happy for those
people that are happy that A Lee's back.

Well, I guess what I mean by authenticity is that,
you know, lately there's been a lot of like a
lot of streamers on YouTube and Twitch that will review
the shows and ww you know, as of late has
been you know, posting clips of you know, the streamers,
and you know, of course you have the haters who
try to like be a Debbie Downer and be like,
oh there, how could you be happy for a thirty

eight year old woman coming back? And you know, again,
I don't doubt people being happy that she's back. I don't.
I I mean, I granted I did have to. I
did point out that you have to ham it up
when you're on camera. You know, there are people that
would generally freak out if something like that happen, and
then there's people like me that are like, oh, that's cool, badass,

like you know what I mean. So but again, I'm
like you said, I'm happy that they're happy. I would never,
you know, try to be a debbie downer about someone's happiness,
even if it's something that I'm not particularly fond of.
But again, as long as they're happy, that's all that matters.

And then on the following Monday, she came out and
caught a promo twhich I mean, I it's kind of
half and half. I thought it was a good promo.
I thought it sounded like she was just talking to people.
Didn't mind it. I mean, you can kind of tell
there was some you know, rust because she hadn't really
been in a wrestling or a w w ring in

a walk because I know she did she did the
Wow thing right, I don't remember, okay, and she also
did that show would see Unpunk the Heel show. So
as far as w W, she hadn't been a w
W ring and cutting a promo, so I thought the
promo was fine, just kind of go back and forth
because we're not gonna, like, I don't to me, I

don't really feel like doing like a match by match,
segment by segment thing for each show. We'll just kind
of talk about what worked and what didn't. But this
past Monday with Punk, AJ and Seth and Becky, I
don't know. I I wasn't really feeling that segment. I

didn't really like it all that much. And it's weird
because you have CM Punk and for what everyone to
say about him, you have Seth Rollins, you have Becky,
and then you have AJ in a ring and they're
all confronting each other, and you would think like this
should be like a money segment, and it's just like,
I don't know, something about the segment just didn't really

work for me. I thought it went on too long.
And I mean, granted, they're the biggest stars in the company,
so they can pretty much do whatever the fuck they want.
But like I just thought the pacing was kind of weird,
and I thought after a while just seemed like everyone
was just doing improv. It just seemed like AJ was
just talking off the cuff and trying to be funny,

which I I was kind of a point where I'm like,
I don't really find her funny. I don't really think
I don't really find her charming in the in this
particular interview, and then Becky just a little cringe at times.
I thought I thought Seth was funny. I thought that
Seth was actually kind of funny in the segment, and
you know Punk, I think Punk was the only one

who was like saying something, and of course it ended
with you know, Becky attacking AJ, and then you know,
that was the end of the segment. But what were
your thoughts on that segment on Monday?

That was a good segment I thought, I thought, I
did we need to do? Wasn't a perfect segment. I
thought the time went that I went, I thought it
was fine. I didn't feel like it was too long
at all. Do kinder with you about A J. I
don't really find her funny. She's not really supposed to
be a funny wrestler, but or funny on promos. But
you know, I think Becky's doing a great job as

a heel, you know, and with her joining the Seths group,
you know, the vision, you know, I think I think
is helping, you know, even though she really hasn't had
any much interaction with the whole group in total. I
think like her being there was that. I think that
helps as well. So I like to set me. It

appearance in Massachusetts because as we all know, we all
were kind of presumed to believe that John Cena's final
match was going to be in Boston. But the news
came out is that Boston and you know, pretty much
pulled out because you know, over money essentially, and John

Sena's last match will be in d C, which is odd,
but you know whatever, So this will be John Seena's
last wrestling appearance in Massachusetts Springfield, Massachusetts, basically setting up
the match with brock Lesner saying I'm still standing and
you know, brought up the match at in twenty fourteen,

the epic Summer Slam match or brock Lestern just destroyed
John scene in a way that we've never seen. John
Seena destroyed the fans Shanning whoop his ass. And I'm
trying to think of how many more appearances John has
after this, because obviously it's this weekend I left. Yeah,

so it's the Perth pay per view next month that
I know. Well yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. So those
two there, I think there's one another one in November
and then their Survivor series and then you see the
the last one in December. So to get a good

look at John Cena because h and Joe joean while
we have people. But do you have any thoughts on
that promo? Uh no, all right, then's for the rest
of all. Yeah, Lyra Valkyria versus Roxanne Petes. Last week
Roquel Rodriguez beat Live and then this week Lyra got

her just revenge by beating Roxanne and then afterwards Bailey
came out. Who Bailey is now in here this weird
kind of I guess schizophrenic gimmick, yes, where she split personality,
where she goes from being the ding Dong gimmick to
all of a sudden she's the hugger gimmick. Uh. And

then later on the night Lyra is approaching her locker
room and she just hears Bailey having a conversation with
herself and yeah, again, you know, Bailey, she's having a
split personality. And I don't know. I mean, we've seen
a few split personality gimmicks and wrestling. I don't really
know if they all worked out all that well. But

how do you feel so far about this new gimmick
with Bailey where she's gone cuckoo?

I love it. I think it's something that is familiar
yet different for her. And you know, I think it's
going to breathe new life into her as a wrestler,
you know what I mean, Like she can you know,
there's there's plenty of things that you can do with
it and have it, you know, god compelling week to week.

So I'm enjoying it so far.

I'm digging it too, because I love Bailey I want
to see Bailey always succeed in being interesting. You know,
the Hugger gimmick is what got her over. I mean
she said straight up that she doesn't want to do
the hugger gimmick anymore, which that kind of breaks my
heart a little bit, because like, obviously you can't go
back to just having like the one ponytail in. You
can maybe do like an amalgamation of it. And then

she did the ding Dung you know, hello gimmick, which worked.
I mean I liked it. Other people weren't nuts about it,
but I liked it. And then for a while just
felt like she was kind of complacent and stagnant or
not even I don't want to say it's her detriment,
but just felt like creative didn't really have anything interesting
for her to do. So I'm I'm going to see

where this is, where this is going, but I'm interested.
I'm intrigued so far. Yeah, Penta versus Kofi Kingson, which was,
you know, a fine match, but you know, Pensa obviously
got the win, which I kind of hope this fewed
ends already, just so we could see Penta move on
to bigger and better things. And we already talked about

to see him punk AJ, you know, the segment Dragonly
versus El Grande Americano. I enjoyed this match. Dragonly, I
think has really kind of kicked in the second gear
as of late, especially with this triple A you know, partnership.

He's very much an over babyface over there, and he's
really starting to kind of find something, I guess, find
his groove again, you know, lately, especially with this few
going on with El Grande. And I like this match.
I I really, I really did like this match. Kaiser,
you know, without question, is a much better El Grande

than Chad Gable was. You know, Kaiser can do a
lot more, is a little bit more nuanced. He can
actually speak Spanish, like perfect Spanish, and you know, he's
a lot bigger, he looks a little bit more believable
kicking someone's ass, whereas Chad was very limited, Like Chad
could obviously go out there and have a good match,

but Chad couldn't really speak because the whole point is
like nobody's supposed to know it was Chad like the
most he can say was gracias, whereas Kaiser can actually
complete a full sentence in Spanish, and now he has
his own group, which I believe is Pete Dunn in
Tyler Bait Bet are his goons. So they helped him win.

And that was the end of that segment. And then
he had Stephanie Vacourt the care versus Kyrie Sane who
she was going after Osca and EO or she's gonna
face EO this weekend, but Osca and you know, Kyrie
are getting in her face. So Osca volunteers Kyrie to

face Stephanie and uh again, good match, Kyrie. I'll admit
I haven't really been big on Kyrie for a while,
but I thought this was a good match. Obviously, it's Stephanie.
Stephanie's gonna go out there and perform and knock out
of the park that she usually does. And I thought,

saying looked good out here, it's probably the best I've
seen the saying look good in a while. And you know, really,
I mean they had like they had like a nice
little face off with Oscar and Stephanie, and then EO
got in a way, so setting up this weekend, which
you know, we will talk about predictions later. But and
then the the end of the man overall was l A.

Knight and Jos versus the Bronze and basically basically are
repeat of last week the Bronze win and instead of
U l A. Knight or not even lle Knight, instead
of Jay going after l A Knight, Ellen Knight goes
after j kind of teasing this dark you know, healed
turn or dark turn for Jay, which I don't know.

How do you feel about that? Like where where do
you think this is going with Jay? Usso he's not
turning heel? Okay, so you think it's what I kind
of figured because like the guy sells merch, Like for
whatever you want to say about him, like the guy
sells merch. But what do you think they're doing with
his character over.

I mean, I think I think he's probably gonna just
be a little bit more serious. But I think Elle
Knight's turning Hill.

I think that makes sense because Ella Knight, you know,
they're both equally over. But I think Jay's probably more
popular and sells more merch. L A. Knight for a
while has been kind of like he's kind of hit
a wall with his character development because it's like, yeah,

el A Knight done that's of any importance. You know,
Jay Uso, for whatever you want to say about him,

Because World's Collide was last Friday. It was right after SmackDown,

try to remember remember on the job. So you had
a Lucas Showcase eight man tag team match Lapaca Mascarita

versus the l w O Cruz al Toro, Joaquin wild
Lins Dorado Mini Abysmo Negato. What do you think about
this match?

Well, it's a good good opener, good opener, and you know, yeah,
they had the minis in there, and you know it
made it fun. You know, I mean it's it's a
standard triple A six man.

Yeah, I mean I thought it. The match did his job.
It was a good opener. I mean, I these are
usually the best way to open these shows is to
have these like fun six man tag matches or tag
matches in general to get the crowd hyped up. And
you know what I do like about this triple A

partnership is it gives a lot of people chances to
really shine, you know, not even just you know, the
Mexican wrestlers on WWE. You know, you get I mean
the last event you saw otis you know, get to
shine and kind of have his you know over you know,
babyface moment. Uh, same thing with Omas And you know

later in the show you had JD McDonough like really thrive.
So I want to see more guys like that, you know,
have their moment, you know, and it's not even just
a thing of like, well, if they don't have anything
they do in the main roster, you send the NXT.
Now you have options, you have tn A, you know,
you have Triple A. I don't believe they have no

one anymore. But you know, this is why I like
these triple shows. They're always fun as fucking You get
to see guys really thrive and work a style that
they usually don't get to work on you know, WB television.

was Naddy actually looks like Stu's granddaughter, Like she looks

All the standard women's match? It was short, Natty looked good,

on me. Yeah, it's funny. Next is a tag team
match for the Triple A World Tag Team Championships, Pegano
and Psycho Clown versus Grayson Waller and Kofi Kingston with
Xavier Woods. Pegana and psychle Clinn are starting to grow

on me. I like this. I mean they're a fun
tag team. Grayson Waller, I don't really care for I
kind of wish it was just Kofe and Xavier or no.
I forgot Xavier. He's in health an injury. He said
he had to get what was it, head surgery.

Yeah that was groty. But you know another thing for

cycle Clown are a good tag team. They're popular. I'm

there forever too as well, so I knew of what
they could do, you know in the ring. And uh,
Coopie King Sat Gresche are both again in this match
as well. I thought was that it was a very

and Mister Iguana versus the Judgment Day fim Baller and Roxane.

a lot better in the ring. She seems more comfortable,

So oh yeah, and the fans love her. You're for

make is that she's actually very very good. She's getting
a lot better in the ring, still not very good
on promos. I will say, I do think she's better
as a heel, but they're not turning. She's way too

popular and way too over and they're obviously positioning her
to more than likely beat j C at A the
NXC show NXC paybuew next week. But and then jac
was in attendance. But uh again, Lola look great. Roxanne
is always is always great. And of course they did

the comedy bit with mister Iguana and his iguana and
then Vin Balor and his mini Demon, and you know,
it was what it was you know, people people liked it.
Can't really sit up here and bitch about it, because
you know I say this, I say the same thing
about AW. I gotta be fair and say the same
the same thing about w W when they do it.
But you know, people liked it, So who am I

I thought it was a standard match, I like the
one at the Other World's Collide a little bit better,
or it was Triple Mania Triple Mania a little bit better.
But I still know this stuff on match. This is
the Summia Demonito. Uh he came out by himself. I
think it was that. I don't know who. I don't
know who's controlling. Was it rock Stone was controlling there
or something like that. I don't know. But regardless though,

uh Sel fun match and Little of Ice mister Iguana wins,
so which I which I don't have any issues with.

Next is you had a really really good match a
fatal four way for the Triple A Latinum Championship LH. Hill,
D Doctor Wagner Junior versus Dragon Lee versus Ethan Page
versus J. D. McDonough. I really really like this match, uh,
Doctor Wagner. I'm starting to I'm starting to kind of
dig a little bit. Dragon Lee is popular as a motherfucker,

and Triple A Ethan Page is just great.

Yeah. Uh well Dagonly used to be in a too,
so that kind of helps too.

So definitely and j D. I again, I've said this
about JD. Ever since that injury, ever since that scary bump,
you know, ever since he's been back, the guy has
been a wrestling machine. And I thought he looked great
in this match. I thought, I thought all four men
looked great, but I thought JD especially looked great. I mean,

I wouldn't mind seeing this again. I wouldn't mind seeing
all four of these men maybe go at it again,
or you know, not even just all four of them.
Wouldn't mind seeing JD go after a title, not necessarily win,
but just go after one, you know, on Triple A,
or maybe maybe even do something in TNA who out
there and do some reps over there. But you know,
JD is it's weird to say most improved or even

put him on the list for most improved, because the
guy has always been decent, you know, too good. But
I don't know something about you know, him almost breaking
his neck. I think lit a fire under him, and
ever since he's been back, he's been wrestling off. So
he's definitely on my list for most improved. I don't
know if he'll win, but he's on my list of
most improved. Right, and then all the other men in

Great match? I just wish it was longer.
