Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh it is time for it. But Drew Yari, Joe, Drew.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Yari, all right, all right, Testing one two, I'm here, Okay,
I'm here. Okay. So I had to stop the stream
on YouTube again. I don't know what the fun happened.
(00:57):
It was working, it's fine a few weeks ago on Well,
I I don't I don't think.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
I don't even think you should really be saying that.
Just we should just start over and pretend like nothing happened.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Yeah, well I can't because I'm angry. But yeah, it's whatever. Anyways,
take take two. So yeah, this is the uh, this
is the experience, you know me, I'm Drew and with
me here as always is mister Justin. But so unfortunately
(01:31):
had to stop the stream on YouTube because of technical issues.
But we're gonna still record anyway. So I recording on
a spreaker studio and we're stilling discord. But we were
talking about raw and uh before everything went everything went haywire.
I brought up or Justin brought up the Maxine and
(01:53):
Becky Lynch match. Yes, and and the end of the
end of the match being that Maxine one I'll buy
you know, count out. But and I say that as
a I say that in the nicest way possible. It
is it is interesting that they're doing something with Maxine,
(02:15):
and it also goes to show you the kind of
professional that Becky is. That Becky is willing to put
over young talent, or not even necessarily young talent, but
just talent in general. She is someone who is very
much about you know, the women means everything to this company.
(02:38):
It means everything to me.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
I will say this, and sorry to interrupt it, but
Becky has had a hell of a tive.
Speaker 4 (02:48):
I mean she's not like E level or even real level.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
It's like, you know, woman's wrestler of the year man,
but like man, she's to me, she's I think she's
solidfyed top five for sure.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Yeah, you can make a case for that. She's had
a pretty interesting year, you know, at the end of
the day, Like people can say whatever they want about Becky,
but Becky's a professional. And I I said that about
Becky too. I mean, granted, a lot of the stuff
she's been doing lately, watch this stuff she's been doing
lately has been pretty good. I can't I can't front
(03:23):
about that. I gotta be, I gotta be, you know, one,
you know, one hundred about it. But yeah, a lot
of the stuff she's been doing has been great her
and her and Seth wasn't feeling it at first, but
now it works because obviously they're a married couple, so
they're gonna work well with each other and really helping
Seth with his with his heel character. It's kind of
(03:44):
keeping them, I guess grounded in some ways. And although
Russell Palooza match with with AJ, with aj Lee and
punk you know AJ put on her instagram, you know,
thank you to Kolby and Rebecca, you know for being professionals,
because you definitely did see the rust on AJ in
(04:06):
that match. It comes with the territory. We figured there's
gonna be rusted, so we can give her a pass
on that. But you know, back like a million bucks,
and you know, I appreciated in that match that you know,
Punkin and Seth allowed you know, both women to finish
the match and to have the spotlight on them. And
(04:30):
Becky actually she allowed a J to tap her out,
so that was you know, that was good for her.
But also coming back to this this much, what's up
Ether Relics? If I'm saying your name wrong. Please forgive me.
But now I know I've seen you on Twitter, dude
or yeah, dude. But going back to the thing with Maxine,
(04:53):
It's interesting because this, on paper, this could have just
easily just been a one and done where Becky beats
her and she just moves on to you know whatever.
But no, it kind of seems like Becky is willing
to put in the work to help Maxine look like something.
So I find that interesting because the women's vision is huge, like,
(05:17):
it's very broad, and you know, we can't just keep
featuring the same you know, you know every single week.
You know, we need more, we need more talent, we
need more future stars. And you know, who knows Maxine
could I can't foresee her being a future star, so
to speak. But she can be a good hand, you know,
(05:39):
that's probably well.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
I mean, I mean, I think I think she has
a lot to improve on in ring obviously, right, But
as I said, even last year I mentioned this, she
has a lot of emotion.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
She facials. I think she has that down.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
She can, you know, have emotion on her face.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
They make it look believable.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
The only thing that she needs to do is, you know,
get better on the microphone right and bear in the ring,
but I think she has the like one of the
most major parts down is the emotion.
Speaker 5 (06:15):
Right.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
So, but she had a good match of her career
with with Becky lan Chain. The fans were very much
so behind her. So it's kind of like what they
did with Harley Cameron and au W, you know, when
they kind of made her out to be the underdog
and a baby face or whatnot, and uh, you know,
have her go up against Mercedes, but you know, she
lost against Mercedes obviously, and and you know that's that's
(06:38):
another thing I don't want to get into aw right now,
but but here with Maxine, they're kind of doing a
similar type of story with with Maxine. So hopefully, hopefully
they continue to build a Maxine and you know, hopefully
she'll be able to to keep continue improving.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
So yeah, let's see what else was there anything else
on wrong that was of note?
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Well, I mean we already talked about we Alreay talked
about like the Roman Reigns day or so and Jimmy
use but what about Paul Hammon and seth Ron's Back
City segment.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
I did see that. It's weird because I saw raw
in Spurts. I didn't actually watch the show in its entirety.
I did see that where Seth is questioning himself as
to if he can beat Cody, and Paul pretty much
tells him like, you know, are you really the guy
that I chose Roman reigns over or or not. So
(07:45):
it definitely does set up this Saturday and makes things
a little bit more interesting and I kind of have
a feeling what's gonna happen this Saturday, But I'll obviously
save that for our predictions. I'm pretty sure I have
a feeling you might be thinking the same thing as me.
But I mean, I'm digging it. I I like, I'm
(08:06):
we're always starting to kind of get back to, you know,
being the well, I mean, it is starting to be
the better of the shows. Well, not as good as NX,
but it's it's obviously better than SmackDown. SmackDown does need
a lot of work. It really does need a lot
of work.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
Do you think the reason what do you think? The
main reason? Why? You think is uh improving?
Speaker 2 (08:30):
I just human stories and also the the wrestling is
a lot better the women's Oh yeah, I mean, I mean.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
I don't know, I don't know about the wrestling part
of it.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
I mean, because I think I think the wrestling has
been I mean, that's why, like with everything, the rust
has been good in w W, I think the wrestling
has been good. I don't think there's been like bad wrestling.
But to your point, it's the stories. They're telling stories
on raw, they're not telling stories on SmackDown.
Speaker 4 (08:56):
That's the major difference.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
No, And also you know on raw you have the
stuff going on with Ria, EO and uh Osca, and
you know that that's a human story because you know,
EO for the longest time didn't want to go against
her friends because she saw them as family, Like they're
my family. I can't go against my family. And then
you got Car there, who's kind of who's like the mediator,
(09:21):
but you know she's afraid of Oscar. She doesn't she
doesn't want to make Oscar bad. And I mean that's
kind of become a comedy bit, almost like a funny
but it shouldn't be funny bit where you know, Oscar
gos for Cary like carry and then eventually Osca turned
on EO, and then Cary turned on EO. But Cary
doesn't want to Cary's like, just you know, she's telling
(09:43):
Eo just just tell Oscar you're sorry, and just so
we can be a family again. And then there was
that there was that bit where I thought I thought
it was gonna be corny, wasn't where she actually gives
her a photo of of them like actually together, and
I'm like, that's that's that's nice, That's that's that's nice.
(10:04):
And it also gets to show Oscar in a bigger
spotlight again. I think Oscar works better as a heel.
Eo is way too over to be a to be
a heel. Her acting needs some work, though I will
admit that her act. EO's acting is not very good
(10:24):
and it's just Ria Ria's She's still over, Like Rover
Maurice said, the Jays beat the Yankees. Good for you, Marie,
but I don't know how how do you feel about
this stuff with Rhea and uh EO and Oscar again?
Speaker 3 (10:45):
Another part of raw right now, that's that I'm really into.
I'm wondering if this is gonna end up making Kyrie
a breakout single star in twenty twenty six whenever she
because you know, Vince's gonna have turning on on.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
Oscar.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
I wonder if this is this is to help to
get Carrie over to so.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
If so, you know, I'm all for it.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Yeah, the more the merrier I did. I did see
a report that w W E they're they're around their
creative for SmackDown to really improve the show road Doug
is still a head of creative.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
Well, I mean, I didn't see anything for like SmackDown
in general.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
I just it just rare report saying that w W
is looking to improve storylines in general.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
Yes, it's five Raw or SmackDown.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
But you know, bra Barra is definitely you know, uh
improved over the last four to five weeks.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
And I mean, I I do hope SmackDown improves because
the talents there. It's just it just feels very bland,
you know what I mean. Because I'm glad Jacob Fatu's
back and he's feuding with Drew. But we'll see how
that goes. Julia has been the United States Champion for
one hundred days, but it doesn't really feel like anything.
Speaker 4 (12:15):
Since she's won the title.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
I think one, if I had to guess, one, uh,
they put her with Keana James. Yay. You notice how
Cody is spending more time on Raw than SmackDown. But
I don't know, we'll see. I mean, I can't really
think of anything else of note that happened on WRAW.
(12:38):
I mean, the stuff with Dom and russeph Is is
you know, cool. I mean, I'm glad to see russef
Is being treated like a big deal.
Speaker 4 (12:47):
Well, I don't know, I don't know if we talked
about the promo the sampoint l A. Knight and Lusso's
kind of we kind of did, but not really. It
was more of like, I don't think we.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
Really talked about it. But that's that's fine. We can
not really get into that then, right.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
But yeah, I mean, I mean the whole gist of
that promo was setting up a future I guess whoever
is going to face Seth for the world title. But
you know, I'm assuming, I'm assuming l A. Knight's gonna
get a title shot because you know punk, I think
they're gonna hold off on that until like Rumble or
maybe Mania. But we'll see. But that was that was wrong.
(13:32):
Let's look at so NXT was last night. NXT had
their big show which was a Showdown, which was NXT
and TNA originally it was called Invasion, kind of like
the Invasion pay per view from two thousand and one,
but for political reasons they changed it to Showdown, which,
(13:55):
you know, cool. I guess it's not that big of
a deal, but U so, yeah, NXC versus a TNA Talents.
It was a big show that they announced at Uh
no Mercy, there you go and uh yeah. So the
show began with the Hardys, who are the TNA tag
team champion versus Dark State, and uh yeah, it was
(14:21):
a nice way to open the show. I mean, the
Hardys are still are they? I Mean they're not the
Hardies of old. They're just old, but there's they could
still go out there and have a decent wrestling match.
It's kind of weird that they were wearing all white.
That just kind of threw me off. But the match
began with all of Dark State and beating up the Hardies,
(14:41):
but the Hardys were stable to fight them off miraculous
with the power of the with the power of Vroking
or Brooken. But it ended up being a Cyrus Griffin
and uh and Lennox to rustle the Hardies. The other
two not a Cyrus Griffin, Sugars and Uh the white guy.
(15:04):
What's his name?
Speaker 4 (15:11):
I'm sorry I was I'm sorry I was messaging someone.
You did you? Did you ask me something?
Speaker 2 (15:18):
No? Is that? Who's who's the white guy in dark
state something? James?
Speaker 4 (15:26):
I don't know how did you lick it up?
Speaker 2 (15:30):
I don't know. He's the guy that says suss things.
Speaker 3 (15:34):
I know I know who you're saying about, but I
don't know his name either. I'm like, did you look
it up or try to lock it up?
Speaker 2 (15:39):
At least that's not important anyways, and it ended up being
those two and the other two were sent to the back.
I think they were a band. That's what I heard
is that Ava was like their band from the whatever
but on your camera went off. But anyways, Yeah, the
match was what it was, wasn't really wasn't great, but
(16:00):
wasn't terrible. It was a decent match again. The crowd
was just happy to see the Hardys. You know, the
Hardys are always going to be over anywhere they go.
There were some botches, as you would expect. Osiris Griffin
goes for what looks like a elevated leg drop, but
he kind of grazes the top of Jeff's head and
(16:23):
then there was another bit where Osiris has Matt Hardy
on top of his arms and it looks like Lenox
is about to do a doomsday drop and I guess
he couldn't carry all of Matt and that kind of
slides down. But the match ends with Matt doing a
(16:47):
twist of Fate on Lenox and then Jeff does the
Swanton bomb Boom one, two three, and the Hardys are
now dual champions. They're the TNA Tag Team Champions and
they're also the NXC Tag Team Champions for first time
for them, another notch in their belt and it sets
up this weekend for bound Bound for Glory. So how'd
(17:08):
you feel about that?
Speaker 4 (17:11):
I mean, it's fucking hardy boys. I mean, who's you know?
Speaker 3 (17:14):
I mean, I don't I don't really have any issues
with it.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
I mean they are they are.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
Now officially a triple Crown Tag Team champions because they
won the obviously won the Wrong and SmackDown titles, and
you know, now now they won the NXC titles.
Speaker 4 (17:31):
There's only been like like four.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
Teams that have been triple Crown Champions INWW which is
you know, not a lot because you know, obviously, because
the NXC has only been around for like ten, you know,
ten years or whatever, you know, I mean or ten
fifteen years, whatever the case maybe, but but yeah, I
mean they're gonna be oh yeah, another thing too, they're
gonna possitive coming to San Antonio. Uh not this weekend,
(17:56):
but next weekend with both NXC Tag Team titles than
the TNA World Tag Team titles. So I mean for
sure they're gonna am with the TNA for sure because
the Dully's ain't gonna fucking win those titles.
Speaker 4 (18:10):
So yeah, yeah for the Harry Boys.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
Yeah, next week is a big Texas Comic Con, so
they'll be here, So I'm gonna go on Friday, all right.
The next match is you had the TNA versus NXT
Women's Survivors Series style match for TNA. You had you
(18:35):
had Cassie and Jesse McKay, who were the formerly known
the Iconics, but they're the inspiration. They can't use their
TNA theme because of Harley Cameron and she's in a w.
Speaker 4 (18:48):
Colonnie Jordan's wait wait wait, wait say that again?
Speaker 2 (18:53):
So and well I don't know if they have it anymore,
but like in TNA, as the inspiration, Harley Cameron sings
their theme or singler theme. Okay, but Harley Cameron's in
a W. This was on WW programming, so I'm assuming
there was a thing where they just didn't want Harley
Cameron's song on a w W show.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
I don't don't think that deep at all.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
I just think that anytime when a former n XT
dark comes to n XD and russells, they will just
use their former NXC theme.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
Well, I mean, Ali came out to like a mix
of his old w W theme and also his TNA theme.
So okay, maybe I'm reaching. I probably am, but I
don't know that's.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
I don't think that's to me. I don't really think
that's the case. I don't didn't really see it like
that at all. So all right, because if that's the case,
obviously A TNA and TNA and AW they supposed to
have bad blood. If the blood was that bad, why
would they still let Harry Cameron theme, So of the
(20:01):
of the inspiration.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
Be used on t n A t V.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
Well, because it's not on w W t V.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
But I know what I'm what what I'm saying is
is that t N A and a W they have
bad blood.
Speaker 4 (20:14):
Right, so they have bad blood.
Speaker 3 (20:17):
So the blood was so bad, like why would they like,
why would they still have it?
Speaker 4 (20:22):
Why would they still have their theme period? You know
what I mean? I think I just think that in
this circumstance, since they.
Speaker 3 (20:27):
Was on w w TV that they were they were
using their old you know, n x T theme song,
you know what I mean. But I don't know regardless,
So at the end of the day, don't it's not
that important to begin with.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
No, No, I'm I'm not saying it is. That's just
kind of again, I was reaching probably Cloonie Jordan, who's
the t NA Knockouts champion, and Mary Sade, the former
Jakar Jackson. So uh team Mary or Mara Mara said,
(21:00):
I actually didn't know who the fuck she was, and
so I realized, oh wait, that is Jakara Jackson.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Yeah, she uh cut her hair me, you know, uh,
you know, give give herself a little blonde blond hair now,
so yeah, but uh off tape by the way, she's
in so.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
Yeah, but uh yeah. Team TNA's women's division mainly consists
of former w W talent, So I don't know, but
it's every but that's everywhere.
Speaker 4 (21:32):
So let me let me, let me, let me start
with this ship because.
Speaker 3 (21:37):
Because this this happened last week and I wasn't here ever,
so clide George. She won the TNA Knockout Championship, and
there's stuff going on with Masha Samovich and also as well,
ashway l against the former Dana Brook. She had a
disclow she she wasn't medically cleared. So I hope she's
(22:00):
fine because I don't think i've we've heard anything about her,
whatever her condition is.
Speaker 4 (22:05):
I hope she's I hope she's okay.
Speaker 3 (22:07):
It really does because I think she improved a lot,
and you know, she won her first you know, singles
World championship and she had to you know, rewinkle shit
not too long after. So Coline Droy wins. Fine, I
get to understand it. They're probably gonna have Coline drop
it at you know, boun for glory or whatever. Right,
(22:29):
Why oh why is Klanie Jordan on Team TNA?
Speaker 4 (22:34):
Why is she accepting to be on Team TNA?
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Uh? Good question. I mean also, I think it really
looks goes to show you how weak that knockout division is.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
That that's I don't give a fuck with I don't
give a fuck. I don't give a fuck about how
weak or or not weak the Blackout's division is. You
could have put fuck, you could have put fucking Andy
Hartwell on this shit, right, I mean, what are we doing?
Speaker 2 (23:16):
I mean I think the teams, even the men's teams,
they were kind of like born there. That was like,
I don't know if I would have put those people
in there, but well, but.
Speaker 4 (23:25):
At least it was Team t and A versus Team NXT.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
True, but yeah, the women's one was just really kind
of ass backwards and it I don't know, I'm just
gonna say this, the match was bad. It was not
a very good match. Let me finish of nxc's real
quick j C, Jane so Ruka, Lolavis and Jada Parker.
But all right, so yeah, the match was not good.
It was not a very good match. I I don't
(23:49):
even think the fans were that into it because they
started randomly doing the wave, and usually when fans start
chanting for things other than the match, then that means
they're not interested. And this match is not good. Uha
or Maara, whatever you want to call her. She does
(24:10):
a fucking moon salt and misses the moon salt by
like a fucking mile.
Speaker 4 (24:15):
Well, well, hold on, hold on, that's not her fault.
Her appoint was out.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
Position, Okay, all right, fair enough's.
Speaker 4 (24:22):
Not her fault.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (24:24):
So I know there's people like this is why she
got released.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
Well, if you look at if you see what she
did on fucking TNA when she does the moon salt
with the fucking Hardy boys, the guy is in the
middle of the fucking ring, you know, wherever she's moved
sign on.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
So now again I will say, I will say probably
like eight percent is not her fault. Three percent is
her fault.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
She probably should have made sure her oppoinment was in
position before going up to this uth rope.
Speaker 4 (24:53):
So but this is yeah, whatever, whatever.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
Yeah, again, not a very good match. Georgian Grace was
a special referee and she's again I don't know if
maybe that was her first time refereeing, but she wasn't
very good personally. And then in the end, of course,
you know NXC one j C Jane uh did the
heel thing where soul Ruka goes for her soul snatcher
(25:18):
and then j C tags herself in and pins Kilanie Sore.
But uh, yeah, this was no bueno this match personally
and kind of like how you said, you know Klanie
who's an NXT wrestler and she just won the knockouts title.
(25:39):
Why she team? Why she team X or not NXC
team all.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
Of a sudden like yeah, it's just like the like
the logic, the logic gap is so stupid.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
Yeah, the week prior, like she's leading an invasion quote
unquote to her job that she works at.
Speaker 4 (26:02):
Its retarded.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
Oh man, it's it was not again, not a good
match to me. I don't know how you did you
think it was.
Speaker 4 (26:13):
I wouldn't say.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
I'll be honest, man, I thought this was better than
the than the opener, So I.
Speaker 4 (26:21):
Didn't say the opener was bad.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
I thought was good.
Speaker 4 (26:23):
I thought this match was good as well for what
it was.
Speaker 2 (26:26):
So all right, speaking of something that's the opposite, you
have Mustafa Ali versus Ethan Page for the men's North
American Championship last week. Ethan Page is currently in a
program with LHe Hill Del Wagner or am I saying
(26:47):
it right?
Speaker 4 (26:49):
Doctor Wagner?
Speaker 2 (26:51):
Okay? So he was calling him ount and then they
did a swerve where somebody shows up you just see
their feet and it ends up and Ali Ali comes out,
and uh, here's what I loved is they kept continuity
where Ali brought up the fact that he was supposed
to wrestle for the North American Championship on a pay
(27:12):
per view which was actually No Mercy a year ago.
Then that's when he got released. He was supposed to
wrestle Dom, but he ended up getting replaced by Dragonly.
I believe Dragonly is the one that ended up beating him.
But so he brought that up. He's like, I was
supposed to get my title shot and I got fired,
so I still deserve a title shot. So I like
the fact that they which makes.
Speaker 4 (27:33):
One hundred million percent. I love it. I was gonna
be mapped they didn't bring that up.
Speaker 2 (27:39):
I'm happy they brought that up because it made the
match mean something. It may mean something and made Ethan
Page mean something. So that that's what I was loving
handing into this match, and holy fucking shit, this match
was amazing. I love this match. I was enjoying it
from top to bottom. You already know how I feel
(28:01):
about Ethan. I think Ethan is one of the better
workers on the show. If not, you can make a
case that saying that he is the better worker on
the show, and he doesn't do anything that's overly em
so to speak. He's kind of like, in a way,
he's kind of like Sammy's Ain, where he doesn't do
anything overly fantastic, but he makes people around him look fantastic.
(28:26):
So he just does simple things and they work. And
Ali is him Frasier a kind of the same, even
though Ali's a little bit more jacked and more buffer,
but it doesn't slow him down. His stuff looks legit,
matter of fact. In some ways, this stuff kind of
looks like it hurts. It looks like it hurts the
other guy. And these two just it wasn't a clash
(28:50):
of styles. These two had great chemistry in the ring
to where you, for a second you felt like the
match could have gone either way. You felt like Ali
could have honestly won the North American title, even though
he wasn't going to, but you felt that way, And
that's the best kind of wrestling is where you know
when it ends, you're like, ah, you got me, you
(29:13):
wrestled me. And this kind of felt like a almost
like a Black and Gold era match, like a match
that could have belonged back then or like a two thousands,
like mid to late two thousands Ring of Honor match,
and it didn't go too long, it wasn't too over
the top. And anytime there's a false finish, I'm like, ah,
(29:36):
you know, and that ending where fucking Ali does that dive,
Holy shit, Like that's probably one of the better dives
I've seen in a match in a really long time.
And that finish where you know, Ali he's trying to
(29:58):
get back in the ring, but he has you know,
Booker T. Like the chord for Booker T's I headset
tied to his foot. I thought that was very creative.
At first, I'm like, uh, is that hokey? I'm like, no,
actually that's not that's creative. That's really creative. And in
the end Ethan Pagean's I'm getting the win, but Ali
has nothing to be, nothing to be shameful about. Like
(30:20):
that was an amazing match and definitely that's on my
list of Match of the Year candidates, just my list
personal tastes. Uh yeah, I loved it. I can't say
enough good things about this match. I I loved it
and I want to watch it again. Like that's how
that's how Bathy I want to see it. What do
(30:42):
you think about the match though?
Speaker 3 (30:44):
Was a really really good match when it goes far
As said, it was of a match that your candidate,
But it was really good, did know great? Like they
didn't like to what you were saying. They didn't do
anything that was over the time op or anything like that.
Everything was it felt so simple. Ali Ali shows and
(31:05):
improves why he is as good as he says he
is right and he said, oh you know w w
is you know, make a mistake, let me go, and
you know you can kind of see that from there.
But but even with this too as well, Like I
don't think that Ali.
Speaker 4 (31:19):
I think Ali ceiling is like.
Speaker 3 (31:21):
T and a champion, but like in in n x
T maybe like North American champions.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
I think he's fine where he's at. It can still
be on it.
Speaker 3 (31:28):
You can still be on n XT and feel special
too and still feel like very very high on the
car because of you know, what he does in the
ring and his presentation on in another company. So but
you know Ethan Page man, like you know, you know,
you know even like two three years ago, you know,
uh when he was in a w and you know,
(31:50):
we we'll bring him up and I'll be like, oh, like Dreulie,
he's he's pretty good.
Speaker 4 (31:54):
And you know, you were kind of like, I don't,
I don't really see it.
Speaker 3 (31:56):
Then well until he got to NXC, you're kind of like, oh, okay,
all right, you know, and now I kind of see.
Speaker 4 (32:01):
You know, what you were saying about him.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
But but yeah, no, like he's been great man, and
he's been you know, his guy even better since he
came came over to.
Speaker 4 (32:13):
You know, w W E n XT.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
I just want to, you know, see where this goes
with the North American title, and also I want to
see way does one gets up to the main roster.
Speaker 4 (32:24):
I think he'll be perfect for in a group.
Speaker 3 (32:26):
In some fashion, not saying that he needs to join
uh seths group or anything like that and they need
to join the Vision, but but like you know, they
start to do a new group on the main roster
by the time he gets caught up. I think he'll
be perfect for a group like a like a young
group with a young group of heels on whoever they
may be. But yeah, it's very very very very good
(32:49):
match match the night for sure, you know, very very
good match like that a lot.
Speaker 2 (32:56):
On the main roster, he'd be. He'd be a great
heap for any any babyface he you know, as far
as like whether it's like mid card or main event.
You know, he he'd for Cody, he'd be a good
heel for La Knight, who's another good heel. I mean,
he'd be. He'd be good for Penta, Like those are
(33:18):
be interesting matches or interesting feuds, because.
Speaker 3 (33:21):
He'll be good for I mean, like not not to
the level of like, oh like he may be.
Speaker 4 (33:27):
On him like you'll be you'll be him and punking
the ring together.
Speaker 3 (33:31):
As far as like them going back and forth on
the MICFT that would be tremendous.
Speaker 2 (33:36):
Yeah, oh yeah, definitely most Stephan Like he's I don't
want to say money because I think I over use
the word money when I talk about people, but he's
he's someone that could be a very big player, you know,
on the main roster wherever he goes. Because like the Miss,
I've always been someone who's very complimentary of the Miz,
but I I think Ethan Page is maybe a little
(33:59):
bit more believable than the Miz because with the Biz,
I still get a little bit of that, you know,
Hollywood reality star vibe with him, whereas Ethan Page, I
believe am more as a wrestler, just my opinion, but
(34:19):
but yeah, great match. Also, Matt Cardona heels Lean next
week against Josh Briggs, so that's a little tit for TAT.
But the main event was the men's side, the men
of NXT and the men of TNA. On NXC, you
have the new and n XT Men's Champion, Ricky Starks
(34:43):
along with the TNA World Champion Trick Williams. You also
have Miles Bourne and Jones. For the men's TNA side,
you have Mike Santana, Moose, Frankie Kazarian, and Leon Slater.
(35:11):
Made more sense than the women's but I guess from
a storyline thing of like why would Ricky trust Trick
when he knows Trick is gonna fuck him over? And
he actually did fuck him over, But like, I don't know,
storyline wise, wouldn't have made more sense to have obas
(35:32):
born and to have Ethan Page in the match on
team NXT and they have Trick on team TNA. Oh
that's just.
Speaker 3 (35:42):
Me, no, no, because that'll be that'll be really fucking stupid. Okay,
why would you have why would you have trick on?
Speaker 4 (35:52):
So what what what's the.
Speaker 3 (35:54):
Storyline of this whole in like, why did the storyline
of this NXC showdown to to begin with?
Speaker 2 (36:00):
Anyway, it was NXC winning all their titles, right, so
why would why would they want to?
Speaker 3 (36:09):
Well, they they did accept fucking Cline jar which I
called a was fucking stupid. But in theory, why would
Tina want to do with any NXT talent.
Speaker 2 (36:22):
You're right, we we have talked about this. That's the
whole point of this show.
Speaker 3 (36:28):
It's like, hey, NXC, we want our fucking titles back.
That's why Cline Jordan beyond the team n x C
is fucking retarded.
Speaker 4 (36:36):
It's stupid.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
Well, I mean, well, now they have their titles, they
have the tag titles. But no, no, no, no, I agree
with you. I agree with you, but I don't know
just just I would have preferred Oba on the team
over Miles Born, but nothing against Miles Borne, but they
want to make him into a thing.
Speaker 3 (36:51):
Yeah yeah, but then then at that point that means
that Team X has to win.
Speaker 2 (36:56):
True, Okay, no, no, I see your point now it
makes a lot more sense. But anyhow, oh, let's see,
uh let me pull up the eliminations. I have them
right here. Yeah, damn it, I clicked on the wrong thing. Okay,
let's see. So Kazarian I was on the team. He
eliminated Miles Born first, which I was a little surprised by.
(37:18):
But again, you want to make this more even keeled,
Slater ended up eliminating Evans. They'll be wrestling this weekend.
Saints eliminated Kazarian, Saints eliminated Slater, so and down to
Saints and trick versus Santana and Moose, but Trip pretty
(37:42):
much screwing over his team and leaving Saints high and dry.
I was kind of thinking, let me let me run
this by you because somebody pointed something on Twitter pointed
out and forgetting who it was, if you're listening, I
forgive me. But at the end of the match was
Santana pinning Saints, which, if we're talking about stupid ideas,
(38:06):
that's kind of a stupid idea because he just won
the TNA or not the TNA title, the NXT title
wouldn't have made wouldn't have made more sense, especially heading
into this weekend, wouldn't have made more sense of Santana
pin Trick to make the match mean something. I don't.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
I don't think it matters at the end of the
day because Trick ran out, he left.
Speaker 4 (38:32):
No, no, you're avoiding.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
Okay here, Here's kind of what was kind of proposing
is that I was kind of thinking, like, let's say
Ricky somehow was able to pin Moose or there was
like Trick was going to do the thing of like
he leaves and then he comes back at the most
you know, convenient time, and then Saints just says, you
(38:57):
know what, fuck you, I'm not healthy. Brock down to me,
I'm a walk down, walk out on you, and then
Santana ends up pinning Trick to make their match means something.
Speaker 3 (39:08):
Well, I mean you still got TNA, you still got
an impact coming up on tomorrow. But I think it's
fine the way they did today because I think they
have Ricky in there. He was kicking out, kicking out,
kicking out, kicking out, so even though he did get pinned,
they didn't really hurt him at the end, d because
it was a two.
Speaker 4 (39:25):
On one attack.
Speaker 3 (39:27):
So and and you have a story there between Ricky
and Trick Williams for the NXTC title once trickles the
title uh to Santana this weekend. I think that I
think the next week's going to be Trick versus Ricky
for the next title based off what happened here. So
I think I think they're trying to I think what
(39:47):
they're trying to do is they're trying to uh intertwine
and tell stories for both impact and like an NXC
for going forward.
Speaker 4 (39:55):
So I'm fine with it. I wasn't like.
Speaker 3 (39:58):
I was like, oh man, like you know, they should
have been tricks here in this situation. Not thought all
was fine for what it was, Okay, a match.
Speaker 2 (40:06):
Is actually was pretty entertaining. You got to see everyone
interact with each other. You have to see Slater and
Evans interact and set up their match this weekend. Sure,
Williams even made jerseys for his team. So but yeah,
the match ends with Mike Santana hitting Ricky Saints and
(40:29):
so after after showdown it was two and two. So
it wasn't wasn't very once on the show, TNA got
some big I.
Speaker 4 (40:39):
Mean, I don't I don't think.
Speaker 3 (40:40):
I don't think anyone suspected to be I don't think
anyone's suspected one side or another side to win, all right, I.
Speaker 2 (40:48):
Totally expected to be two in two well right, But
the point I'm making is that it's been very one
sided recently. So you have tn a, you know, winning
an NXT or in a w w E arena, so
to speak.
Speaker 3 (41:01):
But I mean that's I mean, they have to they
have to get something. They can't just fucking lose all
the fucking time. They got to get something. And playing
over your men's division in the main event on an
n XT branded a special show. I think that that's
what this relationship's about. It can't be one side all
(41:23):
the time. Man, I'm glad that TNA won and went
on top. It doesn't hurt no one. It only helps
TNA at the end of the day.
Speaker 4 (41:31):
You know what, you know what? You know what's funny, TNA,
they got Battle for Glory coming up, right.
Speaker 3 (41:38):
I think they're gonna sell three thousand tickets to their show.
That's what AW did this past week at Daily's place
in Jacksonville.
Speaker 4 (41:49):
For it wasn't It wasn't the sixth anniversary show?
Speaker 2 (41:53):
Was the six anniversary show this past week?
Speaker 1 (41:56):
No?
Speaker 3 (41:57):
No til Tuesday. No, it was last week tyl Tuesday.
Guess what they different tile Tuesday yesterday.
Speaker 2 (42:02):
I'm gonna say it's less than three thousand.
Speaker 4 (42:06):
If you have to make a number, guest number.
Speaker 2 (42:11):
Okay, Potter Cold, We'll all just say twenty.
Speaker 3 (42:17):
They did twenty five hundred, twenty five hundred, two thousand,
five hundred for their dailies play show.
Speaker 4 (42:25):
You know what they did for for.
Speaker 3 (42:28):
I forget I forget which paper view was, but it
was during the pandemic. I didn't know if it was.
I don't know if it was double or nothing or whatever.
You know what they did in twenty twenty one, during
the pandemic at Daily's place.
Speaker 4 (42:40):
I believe it was for double or nothing, No revolution,
you know what they did in twenty twenty one.
Speaker 2 (42:47):
As far as audience, it definitely was a lot more
than that. I remember that absolutely it was.
Speaker 4 (42:54):
It was five thousand people. Do you mean to tell
me that eighty w.
Speaker 3 (43:00):
Twenty twenty one had double the audience that they did
in twenty twenty five, and in twenty twenty one we
were in the middle of a fucking pandemic.
Speaker 4 (43:11):
That's an issue I didn't want to bring up. I
didn't want to bring up aw.
Speaker 3 (43:14):
But going back into tna' they're doing three thousand this
weekend for at least two thousand this weekend about for glory.
Speaker 2 (43:23):
So that's TNA for you or not TNAA w uh.
Speaker 4 (43:32):
Yeah, but I mean it was really more about CNA.
But I went on a tangent with AW, so wasn't wasn't.
Speaker 3 (43:40):
It's not really meant to like slander or put down
AW or anything. It's just you know where they're at
right now, you know what I mean. It's it's unfortunate.
Speaker 2 (43:47):
Their fucking debut show on Dynamite in twenty nineteen, they
were able to almost fill up a basketball or a
basketball arena and years later go ahead.
Speaker 4 (44:00):
Well no, I was just gonna say TNA this weekend.
Speaker 3 (44:03):
No, I you know, I hope that they you know,
I really hope that they continue to build what they got.
So yeah, I mean I'm I'm obviously happy for TNA.
Speaker 2 (44:19):
I it's a lot, and it sounds like I'm being
a dick, but it's just like I I root for
AW to do better again.
Speaker 3 (44:27):
Well, I mean, I didn't want to bring up a
W I didn't want to talk about it, but I'm
really trying to focus on TNA. So again with yeah,
because Malta glory is it should be a pretty good show,
so they should really get fanfare. And but I really
hope that then, you know, I would really hope TNA
contains their momentum.
Speaker 2 (44:45):
Yeah, me too, of course. But that was a showdown,
really good show aside from a few hiccups, but overall,
really good show. All Right, So we got Crown Jewel,
which is gonna be this Saturday. Is it Saturday? Okay?
Speaker 3 (45:05):
Seven am in the morning here in San Antonio, Texas.
Speaker 4 (45:08):
Crank eight am Eastern.
Speaker 2 (45:09):
Time, Cranky Cranky Mate Friday on SmackDown. If you live overseas,
you'll be able to catch it live, or if you
have a VPN LIKEMI, which I'm not gonna watch that
shit seven in the morning, But if you have a
VPN and you live in the States, you can just
switch it over to UK or Australia.
Speaker 3 (45:30):
I usually wake up around seven thirty eight anyway, so
I'll pop it on.
Speaker 4 (45:34):
I'll probably miss like the first hour or.
Speaker 2 (45:36):
So, but you can do that, or you can just
wait for it to come out at seven PM, usually
on USA Network, but it'll be heavily edited. But yeah,
Crown Jewel will be this Saturday at seven in the morning,
kind of like Elimination Chamber from last year where it
was in Australia and it was at seven in the morning,
so I actually did wake up earlier to watch that,
(45:58):
but I regret. But Crownjewel in Perth, Perth, Western Australia
in the r A c Arena and there's a five
matches which is which is the usue. So you have
Roman Rains versus Bronson Reid in an Australian street fight,
(46:20):
fun one. But I'm assuming Roman takes the win.
Speaker 4 (46:26):
It should be Bronson red winging this match. It should
be It's I would love.
Speaker 3 (46:32):
Fit for it to be Bronson Reid to win this
match because at the Roman loses, does it hurt him? No?
You can't, Like you got you gotta give Bronson Race
something to as well, because obviously the focus is gonna
be on bron Breaker.
Speaker 4 (46:49):
Yeah, I give Bronson something too.
Speaker 3 (46:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (46:52):
I mean, it's not just you.
Speaker 3 (46:53):
Gotta you gotta build both these guys up. But I
think it's gonna be Roman Rains winning. Then they're probably
gonna have the match with barn Breaker and barn Berker
is gonna win, which is fine, But how come how
come bron Brecker and Brons three both can win over
Roman reigns.
Speaker 2 (47:07):
Yeah, and also does that have to be clean? You know? Right?
And also it's a fucking it's a game like Roman
is at this point where it's just like he can
lose and then go away for six months and come
back and he'll still be over like he's getting He's
finally getting the reaction he they've been dying to give him,
you know, in the five years they're pushing him. Yeah,
(47:30):
if Roman loses is again to hurt him. No, Like
a lot of these top guys just need to start
taking losses and fine, Like you know, Goonther was taking
losses and he's he's still fine. Cody can take a
loss and he'll be fine. Yeah. I think Bronson could
use this one a lot more. And also it's in Australia,
(47:51):
So why the fuck not? Tag team match rear Ripley
and EO Sky versus The Kobooki Warriors SA Kabooki Warriors
by a desk.
Speaker 3 (48:02):
I guess yeah, I got the healed as well in
this match. I think they need to continue to build
them up. Yeah, and they'll probably give them another match. Yeah,
but yeah, I got the Kobuki Warriors.
Speaker 2 (48:17):
I agree, all right, John Cena versus Aj Styles. This
match was made over social media after John Cena put
it on his Twitter and his Instagram, and then AJ
styleser tweeted it, and then Triple H was like you
wanted you got it? Uh, so it's gonna happen. We
(48:37):
could just see John Cena versus Aj Styles after this.
It'll be four more dates for Sena, but should be fun.
I don't think we're expecting anything. I'll uh, you know,
SummerSlam twenty sixteen or Roll Rumbo twenty seventeen. But still,
I mean, you know, Aj is still Aj you can
(48:59):
still go, and he's still a physical freak. Uh And
Sina's Sena is getting ready to walk away pretty soon.
So but obviously I'm gonna say Sina.
Speaker 4 (49:12):
Got Cina. But the crowd is really gonna make this match.
Speaker 2 (49:17):
Oh yeah, definitely, all right. Stephanieva coor or actually let
me let me backtrack a little bit. Uh w W
Women's Crown Jewel Championship. You have Stephaniev a Coor, who's
the Raw Women's Champion or the Women's World Champion versus
Tiffany Stratton, who's the ww Women's Champion on SmackDown. This
(49:42):
is I think this is gonna be the best match
that Tiffany has had in a while. It might be
her best match ever, partially because of stephan Ever ever,
ever will.
Speaker 4 (49:50):
Be a stretch. Got some damn good NXC one so true.
Speaker 2 (49:55):
That's well, I mean, I'll stick with it. It might be
one of the better matches she's had. But I want
to say Stephanie because I was wrong about Stephanie in
a sense where I didn't think it'd be a good
idea to give her too much too soon. But she's
shown that she's ready for the spotlight. She's done a
(50:16):
really good job so far. What she's what she done,
I mean, I said they put her in, put her
in the spotlight anything. I didn't think it was wise
to give her the spotlight that quick. But you know,
it's shown that she's ready for the spotlight, like her attitude,
like she has the attitude for the spotlight. But oh well, yeah,
(50:37):
of course.
Speaker 4 (50:37):
But what she's done, it's champion so far though.
Speaker 2 (50:41):
Nothing Yeah, that's all.
Speaker 4 (50:44):
I'm like sided.
Speaker 3 (50:45):
I don't really really understand your take on You know
that she's done a good job so far.
Speaker 4 (50:51):
I mean, now this match will it will.
Speaker 3 (50:54):
Definitely assist that this will be like her you know,
first major matches champion, but I mean she I don't
they haven't really gave her much of anything so far.
Speaker 2 (51:03):
So well, she literally won the title I think two
weeks ago, and then she cut a promo and then
that's when they set up this match. So I'm I
don't know, I'm just saying, like with Stephanie.
Speaker 3 (51:14):
I mean, it's kind of like with the aw when
they threw when they threw a hangman on page out
there with fucking Lee Moriarty so well.
Speaker 2 (51:21):
Also also with Stephanie. It's weird because like this whole year,
she's been a champion. You know, she won the North
American title in the beginning of the year, and then
the NXC Women's title, and then she came to the
main roster and like in a few months, she was
already the you know, the world champion. She debuted around
(51:42):
this time last year on NXT. So I don't know.
The point I'm really trying to make is that they
gave her all. They gave her a lot too soon,
but she's shown that she's ready for the spotlight. That's
that's really the point I'm trying to make. Yeah, I
got she she's confident enough to be in this spotlight,
you know. But and then Tiffany, granted it's Smackdowns, the
(52:07):
SmackDown women's division is not that great, and by it
not that great, it's literally just her having matches with
Naya and Jade. I don't know, but I don't know.
This is one of those things of like I would
say Stephanie, but you know, Tiffany has been in the
(52:29):
spotlight for a while, so I don't know. I'd be
intrigued to know who's gonna win this. But if I
had to pick anyone, I'm gonna say Stephanie.
Speaker 4 (52:42):
Tiphany winning, Okay.
Speaker 2 (52:46):
All right? And then the Men's Crown Jewel Championship. You
have codes who's the WWE champion for SmackDown and Seth
Frankin Rollins, who's the raw World's heavyweight Champion? I'm gonna say,
but by nefarious means, and by nefarious means, I think
Brock's coming out to cost him the match or to
(53:08):
cost Cody the match.
Speaker 3 (53:12):
Yeah, that can happen, and obviously you know that that
that could lead up to war Games too, so that
that'sbay something.
Speaker 4 (53:19):
But I do got Seth winning.
Speaker 3 (53:22):
As well, and that's the main reason why I picked Tiffany,
because you gotta have one wrong, one SmackDown person win.
That's generally how ww does think?
Speaker 5 (53:31):
So?
Speaker 2 (53:31):
Yeah? True? Yeah, but that that's it. Do you think
this is kind of leading to Seth maybe being out
ousted out of his own group because of Paul Hayman.
Speaker 4 (53:45):
No?
Speaker 3 (53:47):
No, not not not immediately eventually, but not now.
Speaker 2 (53:51):
No, So how does I mean? I know I just
talked about the match, but like with a possible Brock
you know, interference, how he plays into Seth's group, and
you know, Paul Hayman and Seth himself.
Speaker 4 (54:06):
We're gonna go we're gonna have a war games. Okay,
they're gonna be in the Korean War Games.
Speaker 3 (54:11):
So you got you got Seth, you got Bronson Reid,
you got a bron Breaker, and you got a Brock listener,
and you know it, maybe possibly this is just a
possibility of Cody Sampunk, uh maybe John.
Speaker 2 (54:26):
Cena and maybe a l A. Knight that makes sense,
or Roman.
Speaker 4 (54:30):
Or somebody else to mix in there.
Speaker 2 (54:32):
You know, yeah, that makes sense? All right? What was that?
All right? Uh? Do you want to do Bound for
Glory predictions real quick? Sure, okay? Bound for Glory is
this Saturday in Lowell, Massachusetts at the at the song
of Center or Tazonga Center. I'm not I'm not sure
(54:55):
if I'm saying that right. Uh, there's more matches on here.
So there's nine matches. Leon Slater versus Javon Evans for
the TNA Ex Division Championship. I'm gonna go with Leon Slater.
Speaker 3 (55:08):
Yeah, Leon Slayer. This could be obviously a Schulz Steeler.
Speaker 4 (55:12):
I mean like this is like this is like.
Speaker 3 (55:15):
A Best of Super Juniors type of match and New
Japan this is gonna be like a Cruisewey Classic type
match in in X twwe you know this is gonna
be your your you know your aw showcase type match.
So I'm really interested in forward to see what these
guys do in this match.
Speaker 2 (55:36):
Oh yeah, this is this is gonna be everyone's favorite
match of the weekend. But I like I like Leon,
I've I've been He's fun to watch from what I've seen,
and I like Javon. So uh, TNA Knockouts World Tag
Team Championships. You have the inspiration versus the Elegance brand
(55:56):
Heather and m by Elegance. Uh guessing inspiration ones go
with them? What do you think?
Speaker 3 (56:07):
I think we got heard about what's happening with Ash
and the pain on what the news is? I think
the the Elegance brand meguin possibly I'm gonna I'm gonna
go with that, but you know.
Speaker 4 (56:26):
I either way though, I'm not really like super super
interesting in this match to begin with.
Speaker 3 (56:30):
So hopelly the women do hopefully women, you know, hopefully
women do very well in the match though, So I
have nothing against that, but just my entrance level is
not really do.
Speaker 2 (56:41):
Yeah, I agreed. Twenty person inter gender Collier Shot Gauntlet.
The winner receives a trophy in a contract they can
invoke anytime within one year for a championship match that
they're choosing, and so far, the only participants announce I'm
assuming Friday, are Lee Ying, Lee UH sixty seven, and
(57:04):
Mance Warner.
Speaker 4 (57:07):
So I don't really uh, I can't really got anything
off of that.
Speaker 3 (57:12):
I'm pretty sure there may be some n X three
names and there too as well, I kind of mix
it up. I don't even know. I don't even know
where to go with that. I'll go Mance Warner because
that's the most prominent name of that's there.
Speaker 2 (57:24):
So I'll go with Mance Warner. Tessa Player copy me.
Who's gonna be in the fucking match? So I can't really.
Speaker 4 (57:35):
I'll go anxilate you then you're yo, go Mance Warner.
Speaker 2 (57:37):
I just want to be different, so I'll go with, uh,
who am I gonna go with? I'll go with Carlo
or who's the owner of TNA, Carlos Valdez or whatever
scene is over or something like that. I'll go with
Carlos Silva to win. Tessa Blanchard versus Gia Miller. I
(57:57):
don't know who Ga Miller is. Who's she a Miller?
Speaker 4 (58:03):
She's a wrestler with TNA.
Speaker 2 (58:06):
Okay, I'm guessing Tessa Blancher is winning ten person inter
gender hardcore war. The System moves Aleisha Edwards, Brian Myers,
Eddie Edwards, and JDC versus the order for Mustafa Ali,
Tasha Steele's Special Agent Zero, Jason Hotch and John Schuyler.
(58:30):
This should either be good Schlock or bad Selock. But
I'm guessing this system because they really do love the
system up there, So I'm gonna say.
Speaker 4 (58:42):
This is I got Ali's Group.
Speaker 2 (58:45):
All right, TNA Knockouts World Championship. Klonie Jordan versus Indy Hartwell,
I'm gonna say Colonie because she just.
Speaker 4 (58:54):
Won the Heartwell.
Speaker 2 (58:59):
Okay, why why would Klanni win because Kalani just won
the title. Okay, I don't know. They want to make
it mean something. I guess that's just me. One final
I'm sorry, one final table for the TNA World Tack
(59:19):
Team Championships and the NXC Tackam Championships. The Hardy's versus
Team three D, the Hardys Yep, Harry Boys, Them Boys
Singles match for the TNA International Championship. Frankie Kazarian versus
Steve Macklin. I'll think outside the box. I'm going Steve Macklin.
Speaker 4 (59:44):
Yeah, I got I got Macklin too. I got Macklin too.
Speaker 3 (59:48):
I think mac maclin is a guy who was a
former TNA champion all that, but.
Speaker 4 (59:55):
Like they still want to like make him something, you
know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (59:59):
Yeah? So, and uh TNA World Championship Trick Williams versus
Mike Santana. I mean Santana should win. He kind of.
Speaker 3 (01:00:13):
DNA has known to fuck up bound for glories. They
have known, like Joe Hendry. They had the match with
I don't know if you remember, it was oh, Bobby
Rude versus James Storm, and everyone thought James Storm was
gonna win. They just kept they kept on Bobby Rude.
(01:00:36):
I'm like, oh, Jesus christ Man, Like bufl Glories had
been very polarizing with the booking. It should be Mike Santana,
It supposed to be Mike Santana.
Speaker 4 (01:00:55):
I'm gonna I'm gonna say Mike Santana.
Speaker 3 (01:00:58):
But I mean, but if you look at let's say,
for example, like last year Nickname to beat Joe Hendry,
like that was like Joe Hendry's like chance right there, right,
you know what I mean? I think the year before
they remember Alex Shelley defeated Josh Alexander and the one
thought that Josh Alexander was gonna win.
Speaker 2 (01:01:17):
Yeah, I remember, I remember that. I remember thinking like, oh,
it was a pretty decent show, but why is out
Shelley a world champion of any company?
Speaker 4 (01:01:26):
Well saying the same reason, why fucking what you call it?
Was champion? Uh ship Chris Saban.
Speaker 2 (01:01:34):
Oh yeah, he was the excision champion, right yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:01:38):
Yeah, kind of like you remember when uh, when Johnny
uh Gi Natral lost to uh Austin Harris.
Speaker 2 (01:01:47):
I remember that. No, wait, didn't you beat Austin Ais.
Speaker 3 (01:01:49):
No, no, I'm sorry, No, I say it backwards. Giant
Natural beat Austin Areys. Austinari's just walked out.
Speaker 2 (01:01:56):
I remember that. Oh, the the Bobby Rude one, I'm
remembering that. I think you said it differently though, So
Bobby Rude was supposed to win. But then hul Cogan,
when he was the booker, had said, like on the radio,
was like, I don't I don't think he's ready, brother,
And so he lost. And then the very next night
(01:02:16):
or the very next like Impact James Storm, he beat
whoever the TEENA champion.
Speaker 3 (01:02:22):
Was, regardless though regardless, I mean it was it was
byru versus Jamestore, whoever, whoever the fucking won.
Speaker 4 (01:02:28):
But the wrong the wrong person won. We'll just say
that true.
Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
No no, no, no, no, no no no, no, I know
I know what you mean. But yeah, Paper Santana should win.
He should win. It's his moment, he has more momentum.
But then again, this is TNA we're talking about.
Speaker 3 (01:02:46):
You know, the be's the best bount for glory is
at twenty ten Jeffard turning hell baby.
Speaker 2 (01:02:54):
Oh yeah, ten ten ten, I remember that.
Speaker 3 (01:02:57):
Oh yeah, that that I mean, you know, that's when
he came for the wrong reasons, for the world reasons.
Speaker 4 (01:03:04):
I loved two thousand and ten, so.
Speaker 2 (01:03:08):
Hey, thoroughly watching TNA during that time from two thousand
and five to two thousand and ten was the most.
Was the most I've watched TNA, like from like the
entire show after that, I just that's when I fell off,
but specifically like aces and eights. But yeah, I mean,
(01:03:34):
I'm gonna go with Santana, But it's one of those
things of just like I just don't trust the DNA
to capitalize the moment.
Speaker 3 (01:03:42):
But look, at the end of the day, if they
were telling the story what's happening at between TNA and NXT,
there should be no reason why any TNA champion I'm sorry,
any ten h I mean is not part of the
(01:04:03):
TNA roster.
Speaker 2 (01:04:05):
Yeah, true, period, very true.
Speaker 4 (01:04:08):
I mean there should be no reason.
Speaker 3 (01:04:10):
So I think you're gonna see any surprises or returns
or anything like that, or debuts or anything like that.
I can't really think of anybody or anything, So.
Speaker 2 (01:04:20):
I mean everyone's kind of locked up in another company.
But we did have a free agent that was a
free agent for a day and then he decided to
sign back with the company. But we'll talk about that
in a bit. But yeah, I can't. Yeah, I'm not
(01:04:40):
saying I can't really foresee anyone coming in. I mean,
it's bound for glory, So why not have some surprises.
Maybe AJ comes in for a spot. Maybe Penta can
come in for a spot Penta. Penta is open about,
you know, doing some TNA shows, so why not. But
I don't know. We'll see, but I'm looking forward to
(01:05:01):
I'm gonna watch it obviously this weekend. But good show.
But let's segue into what I just mentioned. So Santos
Escobar his contract expired with WE on midnight earlier this week.
I can't I don't believe it was either Monday or Tuesday.
(01:05:25):
Hold on me, actually Tuesday.
Speaker 3 (01:05:29):
He he he was a free agent Tuesday at midnight
and he resigned today.
Speaker 2 (01:05:37):
Right, Chris, I couldn't get rid of that on But yeah,
he re signed officially today after his contract expired. And
he also it's it's kind of funny because he was
putting up Emo G's on his social media but of
sand and narrow class, so it looked like he was
(01:05:57):
about to head out. But I guess I say the
case anymore. WWE was able to offer him a pretty
good deal money wise, and he decided to stay. So
I mean, I mean good for him, I mean good
for Escobar. I like Escobar. I've always liked a Scabar.
I liked him a little bit more in NXT. But
(01:06:19):
I you know, it's been liking this Triple A, this
Triple A deal because it gives guys like Escobar and
you know, the LWO they get to, you know, pretty
much be treated like kings, you know, in Triple A.
So I kind of wish they would do more with
Escobar with this deal. But I don't know, I don't
know what's going on with that. But how do you
(01:06:41):
feel about him signing back after his kind fired for
a day?
Speaker 4 (01:06:46):
I mean, I mean good for him.
Speaker 3 (01:06:47):
I mean, I mean, honestly, there was really nowhere for
him to go else to go legitimately, I mean, if
you wanted to go to let's say CMLL, all right,
he could have that could have gone into the door
in the a W. But I don't really think he
really wanted to really be in AW. I think he's
(01:07:09):
probably just wanted just you know, straight Mexico, if you
wanted to do that. Now he can you know, be
in w W. E gets paid more money. But basically
now he's getting to me, he's getting paid more money
just to have a check and not to really be
uh creively satisfied. I don't think he's gonna be creatively satisfied.
(01:07:31):
So this this this sign doesn't mean shit at the
end of the day.
Speaker 4 (01:07:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:07:39):
True. Speaking of a free agents, Charlotte there on Chris
van Fleet and Scarlett explained uh why she and Cross
joining a W wouldn't be fair to Tony conn right now.
She said, now, quote, if we ever go back to
if we ever not back, if we were go to AW,
(01:08:00):
that's gonna be where we end up. That's where we
are going to be flying the AW flag. That is
going to be our home forever. Whatever our next company is,
that's it. We will fight for that company till the end.
It wouldn't be fair to Tony for us right now,
when we're still talking about WW the way we are
to go over there and be like, oh no, we're
(01:08:21):
just here to go back to WWE. We wouldn't want
to do that to him if we go there. We're like, no,
we're going to make this company the absolute best it's
ever going to be, and we'll do that whatever. We'll
do that, whatever we go, or that we'll we'll do
that to whatever where we go. That's what I meant.
But surprised that she brought up AW because the whole
(01:08:44):
thing with Don Callas.
Speaker 3 (01:08:46):
Well, well at the very beginning I heard everything else
she said with the quote who was this that set
the quote scarlet?
Speaker 4 (01:08:58):
Oh, okay, gotcha.
Speaker 2 (01:09:00):
But yeah, she brought up She brought up AW and
pretty much says if we do if we go to AID,
whether we go to AW or whether we go to
back to WW, that's going to be our home forever.
And you know it's not fair to go to AW
right now with all we're doing is just talking about
WWE because we don't want Tony to get the wrong
impression about us that we're just using this as a
(01:09:20):
stepping stone. But again I'm surprised that they're thinking about
AEW because the whole thing was with Don Callous. Where
you know anyone that anyone that knows knows or anyone
that doesn't know there was an incident, I gain, to
be honest, I'm not too sure about the details. I
(01:09:41):
just know there was a thing involving Don Kallas and
Scarlet when they're in TNA together, and from the way
it sounded, it sounded like he was harassing her and
the whole saying about Scarlet fever. So again, I don't
know if maybe they were able to squash it, but
I don't. I don't know the specific what's really going on.
(01:10:03):
But yeah, I love I love Cross, I love Scarlett.
I'm obviously bummed that things panned out the way they
did in w W E. But if they go to
a W, good for them. I mean, it's a good paycheck.
(01:10:23):
They can be on television more. You know, Cross can
Cross can be Cross, He can be killer, Cross be
more over the top. But how would you feel about Cross?
And it's possibly going to a W.
Speaker 3 (01:10:40):
I don't care where they go, not because I don't
care about them, it's just that they are they are
at this point. I don't see them being you a
Licen a W two. They're full potentially. I don't see
him being you a licener full potential on a w
W E. So I think he's I think he's better
often the in the Andes, but in in the Andes
people forget about you. So it's it's gonna be a
strugg all three ways for them. So but hope they're happy.
(01:11:02):
I hope they're happy for whatever they do. You know
they deserve better for sure, that's for sure. I know
there's gonna be a match across and Uh Cardona coming
up very soon, so death match, I believe.
Speaker 2 (01:11:13):
So yeah, it's at or is it House of Glory?
Speaker 3 (01:11:19):
I think it's GCW or maybe House Glory. It could
have been House Glory too, possibly.
Speaker 2 (01:11:24):
Because I saw a House of Glory card Well, I don't.
Speaker 4 (01:11:28):
Think it matters. It's on Andies, that's all I matters.
Speaker 2 (01:11:31):
So but I know because I was looking at it early,
I'm like, oh, this actually looks pretty Oh have her
here ever? Here House of Glory with Glory comes Pride. Yeah,
he's wrestling Cardona, but it's gonna be a match. The
Hardys are wrestling a team called Main Event for the
It's gonna that's a title versus title match. Leon Slater's
(01:11:51):
wrestling Amazing Red. I haven't heard that name in a while.
Andy hartwell, she's.
Speaker 4 (01:11:57):
The he owns he owns a House of Glory.
Speaker 2 (01:12:00):
Oh yeah, yeah, it's a New York thing.
Speaker 1 (01:12:01):
I forgot.
Speaker 2 (01:12:02):
And Jason, I know, Jason's a part of it. I
think he's like the GM or something. And uh yeah,
Indy Hartwell is the House of Glory Women's champion. She's
wrestling Zeta Steel. Zillafat too is the Crown JUGI and
he's wrestling Baron Bronson. And Charles Mason, who's the current
(01:12:22):
heavyweight champion, is wrestling Derice d E r E. I
s s there you go. So it'll be this Friday,
and it's on and it's on Triller TV. So again,
looks like a fun guy they did.
Speaker 4 (01:12:38):
Did they pay us for this this advertisement?
Speaker 2 (01:12:42):
I don't know. Maybe hopefully, but I don't know. Again,
anyone that's interested, it's h House of Glory is having
a show this Friday, So check it out if you're interested.
If you're interested, But are you gonna watch it? If?
I mean, if there's a link, I'll watch it. Okay, Well, no,
I don't have Triller, so I'm not gonna rap because
(01:13:03):
I'm trying to cut down on apps, right, but don't
no again, if there's a stream. If someone has a
stream for it, I'll give it a watch. But I
don't know. I've seen clips from from House to Glory
and it always looks fun, looks like a fun show.
So all right, but uh that.
Speaker 4 (01:13:19):
If you watch House like Glory, you may want to
mute your your stream.
Speaker 2 (01:13:24):
Why because the JD is Uh.
Speaker 3 (01:13:27):
I think he's like going to that commentary, he's like,
I think he's like the play by play guy.
Speaker 2 (01:13:31):
Yeah, j D doesn't really bother me anymore. He's oh
my goodness. Again, I don't hate him. I mean, I'm
still not nuts about him, but yeah, I know he
doesn't really bother me anymore. I mean you you you
you have his like you have his YouTube show on
your on your TV in the shop when it plays,
So I don't know. Again, he doesn't really bother me
(01:13:52):
that much anymore. But uh, let's see. I mean, that's
pretty much it. We covered everything we need to cover.
But I will what I'll do with this episode, I'll
put the audio up on YouTube since we weren't able to
stream unfortunately, but hopefully we can fix that next week.
But for anyone else, for anyone that's interested, I don't
(01:14:17):
know if you'll saw I activated something on Spreaker called
the Supporters Club, So I'm just putting it out there.
But it's only three bucks a month. So it's essentially
like when I had a Patreon where you pay it
and then you know, I can put up like you know,
(01:14:38):
special features or you know, what have you. But yeah,
it's just three bucks a month. It's, you know, pretty cheap.
I made it, you know on the content.
Speaker 4 (01:14:44):
Are you planning to put on there.
Speaker 2 (01:14:46):
My feet for one? No, no, no, nobody wants to
see my feet. Uh. Yeah, I guess just like made
pre show stuff that we don't plan to put on
like the regular feed, you know, because like there have
been times where you and me will just talk off
the cuff before and after the show and it's like, Dan,
(01:15:08):
this is a good conversation, Like we should we should
put it up, you know, just for like what about.
Speaker 4 (01:15:12):
You like your movie reviews and stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (01:15:15):
Oh you did bring that up. Yeah, so thinking about
doing what I.
Speaker 3 (01:15:18):
Would definitely do that if I'm just saying I would
definitely do.
Speaker 2 (01:15:22):
That if I were you. No, No, that's definitely a possibility.
Like I was thinking about doing movie reviews, maybe some
TV reviews, maybe maybe even do other stuff that's non
wrestling related. Maybe like with the NBA season coming up,
we can review some Spurs games, we can do that.
(01:15:44):
I have a friend of mine who's been kind of
thing to do a podcast with me about the NBA.
I don't know if you'd be interested to join, if
that's a possibility.
Speaker 3 (01:15:53):
Dude, I barely have time for myself. I don't even
think I have times. This is all the only thing
I have time for. Actually, I will love to do it.
Speaker 4 (01:15:59):
I just I mean, I got I mean, I want
to live my life.
Speaker 2 (01:16:03):
I know, I just want to throw it out. I
just wanted to kind of throw it your way to
see if.
Speaker 4 (01:16:07):
You maybe maybe like every now and then, but like
not you know, well no no, no.
Speaker 2 (01:16:11):
No, no, it wouldn't be like an everyday occurrence, because
that'd be that'd be madness. But just like you know,
every every every blue moon, maybe like maybe make it
like a week, like a show at the end of
the week. I can't do that, okay, okay, all right,
all right, all right. I just I just want to
just yeah, yeah, you know, just like a like a
(01:16:34):
progress thing of like how they're doing this week. But
I just wanted to ask you see if you're interested.
But but yea, at the Supporters Club, I will. I'll
put the link in the chat right after we're finished.
But it's just three bucks a month, and you know,
gol kind of it'll help us improve some things. Maybe
it might help me buy a PC. You never know, Oh,
(01:16:56):
I'll help. It also goes towards the Ad Exchange program,
so the money that we make on here off of ads,
that also goes towards that, you know, that extra three
bucks a month, So that definitely, well, that definitely is
a big help. But like I said, no pressure, and uh,
I'll post in the chat right after we're done.
Speaker 3 (01:17:17):
So everything you can do too if if you want to,
you can once you get like up and running, and
I once you start to get content on there, put
on Twitter, like like, tell people on Twitter about it,
and and.
Speaker 4 (01:17:32):
Probably like do like clips clips of the.
Speaker 3 (01:17:36):
Of the paywall content and put like on Instagram and
Twitter so people can see it all.
Speaker 4 (01:17:41):
The long way you can see is through what was
it called.
Speaker 2 (01:17:44):
Speaker spreak is called uh the or was it supporters
Supporters program? I'm now I'm frigingting what the focus called
Supporters Club there you go. Yeah, I will definitely do that.
I will definitely get the start of that. But yeah,
tonight's show, this audio be of course on the podcast
(01:18:07):
platforms where you listen to podcasts like Spotify and iTunes
and whatnot. And I'll also put the audio on YouTube
just to make up for the obs problem. But was
there anything else you want to bring up in particular
or you just want to call it a night? I
think it Yeah, I think that's it all right. Again,
(01:18:30):
I apologize people for the technical difficulties, but we'll try
to get everything working next week. But AnyWho, I just
say Twitter again, like I say, actually more Twitter, d
y experience, Instagram, TikTok, where like I mentioned, I do
post shorts the I see shorts whatever shorts clips from
(01:18:54):
each episode, which, like I mentioned, I've noticed I'm getting
more view We're getting more views and likes and comments
on TikTok. So follow the TikTok page and also YouTube
YouTube subscribe it's free, and also the Supporters Club, like
I mentioned, only three bucks a month. It's not mandatory,
(01:19:15):
it's just something I thought was kind of cool to
try out. So but and then shouts everybody who supports
us and who's our friend and loves us and we
love them back. Like RJ. At the Brooklyn Savage we
do a show called from the Neighborhood Marks, which is
usually every other Thursday. I'm not sure if we're doing
(01:19:35):
one tomorrow, but we'll see me and Reuben Prime do
Culture Attack. We just did an episode recently, the first
time in months. We talked about some movies I saw,
and we talked about some real world stuff, some personal stuff.
Speaker 4 (01:19:54):
So I talking about the MTV show. I'm like, damn,
they saw how that show.
Speaker 2 (01:20:00):
We talked about the real world as well. No, not
that real world, but just like real world stuff that's
been going on and that's been affecting us, and you know,
but we we it's usually not a wrestling show. It's
more of an entertainment and you know, we're just a
show about ship that's going on in the world. And
(01:20:21):
I believe Ruben is doing a He just put an
episode of his podcast, the Ruben Prime Podcast, So look
out for that. That that's more of a less of
an entertainment show and more of a just talking about ship,
like real ship, So look out for that. And of
course Jeff Littman with the eighty three podcasts that he
(01:20:43):
has the Garden of Thoughts, which that's more of a
guess where he talks about I guess like you know,
conspiracy theories or you know any word ship that you're into.
Jeff has it. He also does a show with lou
Fisto where they review LFG and for the Wrestling Soup
Network and a few other shows. And also occasionally he'll
(01:21:07):

don't know. Just again, I just thought it was.
Speaker 4 (01:23:46):
I can it.
Speaker 3 (01:23:47):
It doesn't matter for we didn't even we didn't even
have There was no Fox, there was no Castle, there
was no Harper, there was no Solhand. I can't care less,
like I mean, I mean tonight, I mean, I think
I think I'm right now.
Speaker 4 (01:23:59):
I think the.
Speaker 3 (01:24:01):
I think the the Blazers is being on the Warriors
right now about like twenty points something like that. I mean,
like that, it doesn't matter. It's preseason. They don't even
you don't even play your half year. If you're a veteran,
if you're like a Lebron or a Curry or you know,
even at this point get into like a yok age
(01:24:22):
and a like they like your top guys don't even
play the full game, let alone even like.
Speaker 4 (01:24:29):
Off the first quarter. So again, just.
Speaker 3 (01:24:31):
Really just to get the young guys in there, the
rookies and you know, and just see how rotations are.
It's really just for a coach to the experiment with
lineup and plays and things that nature.
Speaker 2 (01:24:40):
So right again, it's it's you know, I'll watch the
clips obviously, just to see how the young guys are doing.
But I thought Luke Cornett looked good in his first game.
I thought he looked pretty good, him and him and
I want to see him and Vic run the front court.
I don't like. I don't like Harrison Barnes as power forward.
(01:25:01):
I just I don't really care for it. Nothing against
Harrison Barnes as a player. I think he's a solid player.
But it's weird because he's he's younger than us. He's
thirty two. I thought he'd be like older or at
least our age.
Speaker 4 (01:25:14):
No, well why did you think that.
Speaker 2 (01:25:17):
I just feel like he's been in the league for
a while and he has, but like I.
Speaker 4 (01:25:20):
Just what he's been leak for like what twelve years?
Speaker 2 (01:25:25):
Yeah, I mean twelve years old, because twelve years was
a long time.
Speaker 3 (01:25:29):
He graduated in two thousand and seven. Man, it's been
almost twenty years since we graduated. Of course, of course
we're a little be older than him.
Speaker 2 (01:25:35):
No, I just figured he'd be maybe our age at least,
But no, he's younger than us, so I don't know. Again.
But AnyWho, I'm gonna get off, I'm gonna edit, and uh, yeah, man,
take care, take care, and uh, he's out.
