Speaker 1 (00:00):
M m.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
H m hmm.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
Enter, Welcome back people. It is Wednesday, nine oh five
pm Central time here in the Wrestling Soup Discord Chat
remand on YouTube. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, and uh this is
the experience. And as you know, I'm Drew and with
me here as always.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Justin from spinebuster T's and spinebuster T's dot com.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
All right, we got, we got, we got a nice
little show. There's really not too much as far as
like news wise goes. Like I mentioned, we weren't here
last week. We took the week off, but we are
back and we're here to talk some wrestling is what
we usually talk about. But I guess before we get
things started, we're gonna kind of do what we always
(01:30):
do here justin what do you want to talk about?
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Well, yeah, we're gonna talk about one of the things
that came out today and go over that here. But
as we know, Russell Palousa and aw All Out is
going to be on the same night, which will be
on September the twentieth, Saturday. And aw All Out they
(01:55):
were originally first. Then w W was like, hey, we're
gonna have Russell Baluza because we're now signed with ESPN
to have our plods on it. So now AW has
decided it to move up all out from their normal
start time at seven pm Central Standard time eight pm
(02:18):
Eastern to three pm Eastern two pm Central Standard time.
On September the twentieth, This was confirmed tonight on a
E W Dynamite News was first broken to Fight Full
Select and seam Ross SAP. So, yeah, they're gonna actually
(02:43):
take place, you know, five hours earlier, or I'm sorting
four hours earlier than dany Cay. I said it was
gonna be at a seven pm Central Center time. It's
actually it was actually gonna be at six pm Central
Standard time. So so it was moving up four hours early.
And uh w w e they are they're going to
be at the uh that seven o'clock Eastern time zone
(03:06):
six pm Central time for Russell Palooza, but also as well,
this is going to be the first AW pay per
view available on Max, so they're gonna be on HBO
Max finally, but it is thirty nine nine for subscribers.
I don't think that's aw's call at all. I don't
(03:30):
I think if they, I think they probably want to
do like a thing like WWE, but I think it
has more of a call on the HBO Max's side
of things. But but the main, the main thing is, uh,
you know this was considered counter programming, you know, putting
out quotations you know, the w W is doing and
and Grant Russell Palooza looks like a fantastic lineup as
(03:52):
as it is as it looks so far. But well, Drew,
I guess i'll get your your your answer to this.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
And.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
Will you be watching AW all out early then transition
into Russell Palooza or is it just one or the
other that you'll be watching.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
I will try to watch all out, being that it's
gonna start at three pm, so that's right around the
time when I'll get out of work, so I will
try to keep up with both shows. But I imagine
all else's gonna you know, do what AW usually does,
and that's be a really long show.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
Granted, it's gonna start in the afternoon, so by the
time it ends, it'll be you know, eight I'm assuming
or maybe eight thirty. So all my intention is gonna
be focused more on Russell Palooza, which you know, like
you just mentioned, technically, well, actually there has been a
match announced, and we'll you know, well, I mean just
(04:54):
to jump ahead, you know, the first match that's been
announced is EO Sky versus Stephanie Vacor for the vacated
Women's title. And I mean that's that's that's a match
of the Year candidate right there.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
And then, and John Cena is officially on the card
as well. I mean you already know that it's gonna
be him versus Lesnar, so right right right, you know, so,
I mean we can we could kind of have an
idea what the matches are going to be. Drew McIntire
versus Championship. So I mean there's there's you know, I
get there's officially one only one.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
Well well I like to use the word a legend,
you know, just to sounds smart. I guess, well for
my sake, but yeah, I mean, like you just said,
John Cena versus Brock. You know that's a that's an
attraction match. Cody Rhodes versus Drew McIntyre, and a mixed
tag team match of husband and wife versus husband and wife.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Damn plunking that a j Lee versus Seth Rollins and
becuyl Lynch.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
I was trying to be. I was trying to be
cute about it, but.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Uh, I mean, I mean, if you're living on a rock,
you know, I know, I know, but there's probably somebody
out there that's never heard of wrestling before and there's no.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
US like who are who are these fine young gents?
But yeah, Russell Palooza, that's gonna be the big card.
I mean, I know that's gonna be the big show,
the bigger show all out. I'm not even sure what
what's on their card. I know it's gonna be in Toronto.
No Edge or Cope is going to be the headliner or.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
Well it's uh well, I can I can tell you
whether they have for the cars. So far, it's uh
uh Edge and Christian, I'll just say Edge and Christian
versus F t R. So they've been building that up
for a while with those four. Then you have the
Hurt Sending Kid versus Ricochet, and the Gates Agony, the
trios matching you have now announced tonight it was Mercees
(07:02):
Money versus Returning Rijo. So it looks like a w
is Man. It looks like it's not gonna be as
quality from what I'm seeing so far.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
So it looks like they're not going all out so
to speak.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
You know, they still got a few weeks to to
shape the card out. But with the exception of Andrew
Christian back in Toronto, as you know, teaming up against
Updyarwich shil be a great match. Not really excited with
the other two matches so far.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
Not for the tag titles. No for Yeah, I was
gonna say you were thought that would have been for
the tag titles and have Edging Christian when in Toronto
is a feel good moment. But now they gave the
tag titles to who they give them to?
Speaker 1 (07:51):
Brodido?
Speaker 3 (07:53):
Yeah? Nice?
Speaker 1 (07:55):
I mean, I mean good for Bandito and Brody King.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
You know. Yeah, but dude, it's like you you have
a feel good moment right there, Edging Christian teaming together
for the first time.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Maybe with uh Adam Copeland. I mean his contract's coming up,
maybe there's something maybe you haven't signed yet, so let
me sign yet. Why you know, why would you give
detecting tows to him?
Speaker 3 (08:20):
I mean you can have them win and hold on
to him for about a month and then have them
drop him back to FTR and then Adam Copeland could
just leave. Yeah, I mean, doesn't have to be a
long title, right, it could just be a feel good moment.
I'm sure you know what I mean. I don't know.
It's a weird company. But where was I going with this? Yeah?
(08:40):
I mean I just kind of said what I need
to say. You know, Russell Palooza is gonna be the
bigger card and probably the better card, and all else's
gonna all Out's gonna do what aw usually does. You're
gonna have the people that love it, which is fine,
nothing wrong with that, and it's probably gonna go on
till two o'clock in the morning. That's it, okay. But
(09:12):
so was that what you wanted to talk about?
Speaker 2 (09:15):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (09:15):
Yeah, okay. One thing I wanted to talk about is
not necessarily wrestling related, is and isn't It involves people
that you know were in the wrestling business. So I
want to talk about the rock Dwayne Johnson, who his movie,
uh Smashing Machine, which is supposed to come out in October,
(09:38):
so next month. He was recently at was I think
sun Dancer cans Can's film festival, and he showed a
much different look to him, like he's probably the thinnest
that he's ever been, which is fine because the Rocks
what fifty three, And he put it out there that
(10:02):
he now wants to do more challenging films and not
focus on doing like box office you know, big budget
films anymore, which which is understandable because you know, he
wants to challenge himself and he also also at the
same time he wants to get back in the good
graces with people, you know, with the public. So you know,
at at KENSI impossible. Like I said, he looks a
(10:23):
lot skinnier, it looks out leaner, still kind of looks
like the Rock. You can kind of tell in his
face that he's the Rock in some ways, kind of
looks his age too, but still looks good. But of
course you have you know, the you know, the the
goofs online, you know, saying things like, you know, what
happened to the Rock? What happened to the Rock? It's like,
(10:47):
I don't know the Rock. It probably realizes he doesn't
work in a in a profession that he has to
be physically like it's physically demanding. So he just figured, well,
I'm just gonna not eat a shit ton of food
like I used to and just I don't know, look
like a normal person with money. I don't know, but again,
(11:08):
it's just people just being goofs online. You know, they
did the same thing with Batista, where Batista said straight
up like I was, I was too big to the
point where he's uncomfortable. So I lost weight for a role.
And you know, John Cena, John Cena pretty soon is
gonna get there. He's gonna get there where he's you know,
a lot leaner and skinnier because they're not wrestling anymore,
(11:28):
they don't have to look this big. So I don't know,
it's it's it's not. I don't I don't know if
I would call it body shaming. In some ways, it
kind of is, but it's just people assuming the worst
and not knowing how how the world works. I mean,
they did to Triple H a few weeks ago where
he was on vacation with his family and he comes
(11:49):
out he basically has a dad bod. I mean, he's
not like fat fat, he's like dad bod shape. And
he still looks good for his age. You know. Granted,
you know, he looks good for somebody that had a
heart attack a few years ago, but yeah, he looks fine.
But again, people body shaming and saying that he has
a dad bought and he doesn't look like Triple Ah
(12:10):
from two thousand and it's just like, why do I
need to defend this shit? I shouldn't have to, but
the Internet being the Internet, so and you know, and
also I defend WW, I'm gonna have to defend a
W two. They did the same thing with Kenny, where
Kenny came out and he, you know, I guess, try
to do a Triple H impression. Maybe he was, maybe
(12:32):
he wasn't, where he came out in like blue jeans
and tried to show off his figure, which I'm like,
I don't know, it doesn't look that bad. I mean,
granted he's not Kenny from ten years ago, but I
don't know. I'm not gonna make fun of him. I'm like,
I'm not. I just left it alone. So I don't know.
I just wish people would stop being goofs on the internet.
But that's probably asking for too much. Do you have
(12:56):
any thoughts on this?
Speaker 1 (12:57):
No?
Speaker 3 (12:58):
Not really. Yeah, you cover it pretty much all right.
So that's what we wanted to talk about. So let's
get to Clash in Paris, which happened on Sunday, August
the thirty first at the Non Detre Non Terror and
(13:19):
Nonterre Friends at the Paris La Defense Arena. Three and
forty three were in attendance, so it was a pretty
big crowd and as usual they were singing, which you
know was what it was. But the first matches you
had Roman Reigns versus Bronson Red in a singles match.
(13:43):
This whole segment, including the match, including Roman's entrance, including
the fans channing, took almost an hour like this, this
took up an entire hour. Almost The match itself was
the match of slevel was fine. It wasn't know anything
to really ride home about. I don't think anyone in
(14:04):
the entire universe even thought that Bronson Greed was gonna win.
I mean, since Roman's really not around, is he isn't
really around as much as he used to be, maybe
he could have done Bronson a solid and you know,
given him something. But you know, again, you figured Roman
was gonna win, which he did, and afterwards Roman ends up.
(14:30):
I mean, he does something kind of cool where I
thought it was gonna be a thing, where it was
kind of silly. Roman's like I'm taking my shoes back,
like eventually he like he goes out and like he
I get I think he's like signing the shoes and
he's gonna throw him off into the crowd. And then
bron Breaker comes in and spears a shit out of him,
and then him and oh no, before that, Roman choked
(14:51):
out Paul Hammon, which was a good revenge moment for
him and also for the fans. And then you know
flash forward, you know, uh, bron Breaker beers Roman and
then him and Braun beat up Roman, and then jay
Uso comes out for whatever reason, well I shouldn't say
whatever reason because he's family, but like doesn't come out
with a seal chair, doesn't come out with any protection.
(15:13):
He just comes out and then gets his ass beat
so doing stupid baby face shit. And then Roman ends
up getting carted off and sent to the hospital. So again,
and that entire segment, including the match and everything else,
took almost an out. So again, just yeah, it was
(15:35):
what it was. But what'd you think about the match
and everything else?
Speaker 1 (15:39):
I thought the match was a fine match. It was
really a test for Brunson reed, and I thought he
passed the tests. Looked very cruble in the match. The
aftermath was very good as well. I just I liked it,
but I just hate that it's kind of lazy that
they're now doing this again to write off Roman Range.
(16:01):
I think I think they need to be a little
bit more creative. We're trying to write off from a
range and everything just getting like, you know, full on,
you know, atomic bomb attacked all the time. However, I
enjoyed it. I liked it. I just thought that it
wasn't as creative because it seems like they've gone to
(16:22):
this well, you know, like three times already this year
from what it seems like. So overall, thumbs up, thumbs up, match,
thumbs up segment. Thought was a very good match, and
I thought the ending was Again after the match, I
thought that was very good as well, but again it
was I've just seen it too many times already.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
True. And then afterwards Adam Pierce tells Braun and Bron
you know you're suspended or no to exit the arena.
If you interfere, I'll suspend you without pay. And so
that leaves Seth alone dot dot dot or is he next?
As you had the White Six defending the tag Titles
(17:07):
SmackDown Tag Titles against the Street Profits who came out
dressed as characters from Borderlands Cool.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
Again into Borlands at All.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
I played a few games. I'm not like the biggest fan,
but you know, it's it's pretty fun. M not really
my thing personally, but are you.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
It's fine, It's fine. I'm not like a huge into
the series itself. I get why people like it, though.
I just I've never been particularly great at the game though,
but uh, you know, I have some fun some fun
play sessions with.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
It, right all right? Uh tag titles again. Another match
that I don't necessarily think it should have been on
a pay per view. This this desperately seemed like the
main event of SmackDown.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
It was just for advertising purposes. From that when I
first when I first saw the street profits come out,
like you know, the like character from Bortland is, oh, okay,
this is this match is just for an ad, that's it.
That's all I was for.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
True. Yeah, this match was what it was again, SmackDown match,
not a pay per view match. But you know, like
like Justin just said, this is purely for advertisement and
the wide six wins and they were teasing, so they're
pretty much teasing that there was going to be a
breakup with the Street Profits, which I've been saying this
(18:41):
for years. I think you've kind of been against the idea.
I'm not, I'm not, I don't remember. But Montes is
the star. Montes needs to be the guy again. I
don't know what that kind of guy is. I'm not
necessarily saying main eventor but he the guy has it.
The guy has the charis and the talent Angelo Dawkins.
(19:02):
I'm not saying I wanted to get fired. I don't
want anyone to get fired. I'm not saying that. I'm
just more like, I think there's something for him to
do because the guy's talented, Like the guy steps it
up in the ring, and the guy's personality, and he's
also like work his ass off to get in shape.
But this, I think this team has kind of run
its course because where else can you go?
Speaker 1 (19:25):
So I just think they're better off splitting up.
Speaker 3 (19:28):
Though, yes, like definitely, I what else can you do
with them? True?
Speaker 1 (19:35):
But like do you like do you see them?
Speaker 3 (19:39):
So?
Speaker 1 (19:39):
Do you see Angel Dawkins? For example? So what was
where the height was for the Street Prophets when it
had like a year plus you know, tiner rain for
it seemed like in the pandemic, Like do you see
Angelo Dawkins exceeding past that as far as like not
nelessarily popular per se, but as far as like being
(20:02):
on WWE TV, you know, being someone that's a focal
point and maybe even having a time. D you see
Angelo Dawkins exceeding that point where they were in the pandemic.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
I'd be surprised if he did, and I'd be happy,
I mean, because like I remember.
Speaker 1 (20:20):
What do you think WWE will do? Do you think
WWE will would do that?
Speaker 3 (20:27):
I don't think so personally because you know, again we
just talked about body shaming, and you know, Angelo Dawkins
is in good shape, but he's not. He doesn't look
like Montes, like Montes is like in six shape and
can do you know, the flippy fancy moves and he
has good personality. Angelo. It's like, if you can find
(20:49):
a good gimmick for him, maybe if he I mean,
you can put him in another group and he can
maybe excel in there. So I'm not sure, But.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
What's the ceiling for a Monte sport?
Speaker 3 (21:06):
I mean, US champion, intercontinent champion. Maybe go after the
world title, maybe not necessarily win the world title, right,
I don't know, what do you think?
Speaker 1 (21:19):
I think US champion a condo champion's fine, But I
just don't see the benefit of breaking them up right now. Okay, Hey,
I mean they're they're they're too they're they're too much.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
They they're really too much of a great tag team
to break them up. You have a loaded tag team division.
I get what you're saying, wells do you do with them? Right?
But it's like, Okay, wells do you do with D
I Y? You send them down an XC apparently right?
You know, at least for a couple of weeks, Like
(21:55):
if you break up D I Y, Like, like, is
it going to benefit both of them? Like maybe one
and probably not the other or whatever?
Speaker 3 (22:02):
Right?
Speaker 1 (22:03):
But I just think that to me, I just think
that breaking them up and have one guy not be
as high on the card where he's very talented as
talented as the other guy, I just don't think that's
the overall benefit to both guys. Now, I'm not WWE obviously, right,
I'm just saying if I was running the wrestling promotion
(22:25):
and I'm looking I'm looking at all these guys that
have to fit in, fit in on my card, right,
I gotta fit in a seam punk a Jay Usso,
a Drew McIntyre or Cody Rose, a l A Knight
or Rum and Rains, you know, a dominant mysterio like
I gotta fit all these guys Jacob fa too. I
gotta fit all these guys on my card and and
(22:49):
make stories with them and keep them relevant on TV.
I just think it's easier to keep them together versus Okay,
now you split up the street profits. Now let's say
to go to different rounds. Now you got one, you know,
on one brand one the other brand ride. Then you
still got guys like you know, Aliser Black and Penta
(23:11):
and you know, you know Ray Phoenix and Bron Breaker
and Bronson Reid and Seth Roll. You s took all
these people to go up against. And to me, it's
like all those names that I named, you know, probably
ninety percent of those names. I don't see either one
of Angel Dawkins or montese Ford being higher on the
(23:32):
car than those names I named, Not ninety percent of them.
Maybe a couple of them probably will bit higher, But
I don't see montes Ford being higher on the car
than a Bron breaker. Obviously, I don't see him being
higher in a car than on Bronson Reid. I don't
see him being higher a car of a Penta. You know,
I don't see him when Gunda comes back obviously, you know, goother.
So it was like Dominic my stereo, Jay us So,
(23:56):
Jimmy uso, you know so again why I'd be willing
to see it, Yes, sure, but I just don't think
a long term I don't think it is a good,
good benefit for both guys.
Speaker 3 (24:09):
Okay, next as you have a singles match for the
ww Women's inter Continent Championship, Becky Lynn versus Nicky Bella.
Oh boy, this was not good. This was not good.
And I've tried to give NICKI I tried to give
(24:31):
Nicky Bella something. I've tried not to pick on her
too much because again we've we've had this conversation before,
I think, like last month, where it's just like I
don't obviously don't even think against the girl at all.
It's just she's she's not really good. I mean, she's
not like awful. I mean if you give her someone
(24:52):
that knows what to what they're doing, it's just I
mean even if then like because Becky knows what she's doing.
But Becky's kind of in a rough spot too, like
she's really not that interesting now, and her and Nicky
on this card was not a good choice. And I
I get why they took you know, Stephanie off, you know,
(25:14):
for obvious reasons, because you know the Russell palus A card,
but it's like you couldn't find anything for Rea to do.
You couldn't find anything for I don't know, Tiffany to do,
Like I don't know, I just I didn't think this
was a good woman's matches put on the pay per
view and to have him go thirteen minutes was just
(25:35):
the not good. And then Nicky Bella watching a really
bad like off the top rope kick, and then Becky
having to pretend to sell it. Yeah, this is bad.
This is pretty bad. And the fan and Nicky supposed
to be the baby face and the fans are chanting
for Becky.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
So just to know, do you think that was contributing
to the match? I'm not saying that Becky phoned it in,
but do you think she kind of not like fully
fully gave her all as far as like being in
position and proper selling things that nature. Like, I'm not
(26:14):
saying that she jeopardized the mash intentionally, but do you
think that's kind of like Becky's kind of like I
don't know why I'm having to defend my towel against her.
Speaker 3 (26:23):
I think Becky is a company girl, and she'll do
whatever the company asked her to do. I just don't
think Nikki's good, Like I'm sorry, you know, she was
passable in her prime quote unquote, but ever since she's
been back, she has just not been good. Like I'm sorry,
Like I hate to be mean, but she's she just
(26:45):
wasn't good. And Becky did whatever she could, but it
just it's it's not I mean, it's not working. I'll
say a lot of things about Becky, but unprofessionals in
one of them, like, I don't think she had phoned
it in, but.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
Just the thought I had in my head, I don't.
I don't think she intentionally did anything either, But.
Speaker 3 (27:02):
Yeah, I get you, Uh, but what'd you think?
Speaker 1 (27:08):
It wasn't a great I didn't think it was as
bad as you were making out to be, but it wasn't.
It wasn't great either. Don't get me wrong. There was
there was There was mistakes and botches, you know, galory
in this thing here. I think that I thought the
ending was was okay for what it was, but outside that, man,
(27:30):
it wasn't anything to write home about at all. Not
the worst women's match of the year or anything like that.
I mean, I still think Lyra and Becky and Sumber
Slam was much worse. But yeah, but I just think
that her her mistiming and the ring russ is clearly there.
I think that if she gets a little bit more
(27:53):
more time to actually rustle because there was there was
her first singles match since she's been a right.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
Yeah, because she she was in a tag match and
then she was in the Battle Royal Evolution, so.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, so this is her first singles match
since she's been back. So I I don't know what
people were expecting, you know what I mean. So but
again that's that's on WW for not you know, playing
our in singles matches on TV too to prepare for
this at least, I mean it even be dark matches
(28:32):
just for her to even just scare reps in.
Speaker 3 (28:34):
But right, it also doesn't help. It also doesn't help
that they got rid of house shows.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
Well yeah, that too, you know what I mean, but yeah,
it is what it is. Not gonna remember this match
at all, so.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
Yeah, thank god. Uh next as you had Russa versus
Seamus in a good old fashioned Donnybrook match. This is fun.
This is really this is a lot of fun. I
enjoy it. I mean, I'm enjoying this feud with Seamless
and Russve. I'm digging it. And I will say I
(29:09):
love this match up until the ending, and not because
I hated the ending. I just think because with how
brutal and I use quotation fingers, this match was supposed
to be, you know, a fight a Donnybrook and then
the match ends with a submission. I'm like kind of
went for more of a I guess an ending to
(29:29):
match the brutality of the match, so to speak, like
I don't know, throw somebody through a table, do something
with a chair, I don't know, but just a submit,
just like a basic submission. I'm like, okay, would it
went with a would I want something a little bit
more unique? But sure.
Speaker 1 (29:49):
I mean it's the only time or second time rather
that Seamus has ever tapped out side. I mean, I
mean I I like the ending because you know, it
was unique for what shame is, because shame is that
was only tapped out twice. And this puts over russe tremendously.
Speaker 3 (30:05):
I think, Yeah, agreed, and and that makes me hap
because I love Russef and I also love Seamus. But
I don't know. I don't know if this is gonna
be the last. I believe this is gonna be the
the end of the feud because.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
I mean with a block match like this and we're
to tap out, yeah, I think so so.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
Uh, but uh, what'd you think about the match?
Speaker 1 (30:31):
You pretty much covered? I thought this was uh to me,
I thought this was the match of the night for me.
I thought it was really good.
Speaker 3 (30:41):
So where do you see Russeph going after this feud?
Speaker 1 (30:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (30:48):
Okay, what do you think his ceiling is in w
w E.
Speaker 1 (31:01):
Right where he is right now?
Speaker 3 (31:03):
Okay, nothing wrong with that. I mean, Rusef. Russef is
an important I mean, I think everyone has a role
to play on the show, and they're all equally as important.
You don't necessarily have to be a world champion to
be to be important on the show. So Russeph, I think,
is doing good work. You know, so he's He's gonna
(31:25):
be fine. Same thing with Shamus, all right. Next as
you had John Cena versus Logan Paul in a singles match.
This is kind of a weird match. And I don't
mean that in a bad way, but I don't mean
that in a good way either. So I like the beginning.
(31:46):
I like the beginning of the match because it seems simple.
You know, they were having a was it a test
of strength in the beginning, and it was fun. I'm
not I don't hate I didn't hate the match. Let
me just kind of preface that I didn't hate the match.
I I just thought the second act of the match
got a little too cute. And what I mean by
(32:07):
that is like the countless false finishes and Sena and
Logan using each other's finishers and other people's finishers, and listen,
I get on aw for doing this. I gotta get
on WW doing this. I didn't think the match need
to be close to thirty minutes. Logan is Logan. He's
(32:29):
a physical, athletic freak. There's no doubt about that. Sena.
It was kind of fun seeing Sena do moves that
I've never seen him do, like he did an end
of days and then he did a Code Red and
there's another movie did that I'm blanking on. But yeah,
their styles clash. That was kind of fun. But it's
(32:51):
just I thought the match was I went on a
little too long and got like I mentioned, got a
little too cute with wanting to be like aw or
you know, Ring of Honor from the two thousands. So
again the fans loved it, So who am I to judge? Like,
what do I know? But I think it didn't need
to be It didn't need to go overboard like that,
(33:14):
you know. But no, again I liked it. I just
didn't love it. Just that's just me. But what'd you think?
Speaker 1 (33:22):
That was a great match, That was great. Thought, the
story was good. Thought everything that they did was necessary
in the match. They told a great story. I didn't
really what's the wrong I'm looking for? I didn't mind that's
the wor I'm looking for, and mind the false Fanish
is in there. It's twenty twenty five, like you know
(33:44):
what I mean, Uh, wrestling has to evolve in certain ways,
you know what I mean? Just someone hanging their finisher
like it only works with only with certain guys, where
when someone hits their venture. You know, it's gonna be
the end of the match, like Kenny Omega, Like no
one's ever kicked out of the the one we Na
Angelo except Coodobushi, but it was like years before they
(34:04):
put over the one we agelized, like the the finisher
that you never kick out of. Right, So like it
only worked with certain guys. It worked with Baron Corbin
with the End of Days right for a long time.
It worked with Roman Reigns as Spear too. But you know,
in most cases, your you're we're programmed for someone to
(34:27):
kick out of each other's finishers, right. So but at
the end of the day that I thought, I thought
it was a very good match. At first, I was like,
man's that's seen his best match you know of this
retirement tour. But but no, I'm still giving the Summer
(34:49):
sim Cody matchup. You know, I think that that match
was stellar. But but I mean this is like a
close second third place, you know as far as uh
best seeing matches of this year. Yeah, yeah, Like I said,
I didn't really have an issue with that and just
proving that little. I think Logan Ball eventually, I think
he's gonna deserve a titter rain of some sorts at
(35:12):
some point, because if he's if he's in here with
seeing I having this kind of quality match, I could
definitely see him having and you definitely see him having
the world title for a little bit, you know, maybe
a couple of months however, But the only thing I
would want to see is him on TV more and
actually Russell Moore on TV. But you know, that's a
(35:34):
nurse story for.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
The other day. You notice how Logan Paul hasn't really won
any big matches, And what I mean by big matches
is like main event level talent.
Speaker 1 (35:45):
Usually he's lost a lot.
Speaker 3 (35:46):
Yeah, yeah, I mean he's won matches against like, you know,
mid carters like Ricochet. Yeah no, well Ellen I beat him,
but Llen Night two at one point, I don't I
don't remember. I think it was maybe by disqualification or
something like that, but beat him. But yeah, it's just
(36:08):
that I don't know. Eventually, Logan, I mean, like you said, Logan,
He's gonna be a world champion pretty soon because the
fact that again a YouTuber came into wrestling and took
onto it like a fish to walk, and he's able
to go out there and wrestle against guys like Sena,
Kevin Eights, and Roman Reigns. I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty
(36:32):
sure he's gonna have a match against Punk pretty soon
because they tease that earlier. Oh and he had a
match against Cody last year and that was a really
good match. So yeah, I eventually he's gonna be a
world champion. I mean, there's really no doubt about that.
But nice moment after the match where Sena goes up
to his wife and kisses her. And I don't know
(36:55):
who put it up, but there's a backstage photo of
and Logan, you know, walking you know, in Gorilla together,
which is actually on the YouTube thumbnail for tonight's show.
It's also going to be on the podcast s art
So again, you know, Logan Paul, is he a shitty person? Probably,
(37:17):
but I don't know. We we like to try and
at least separate the two and at least enjoy somebody's body.
And Logan consistently proves that he's really fucking good. You know,
he's very clearly the best, you know, celebrity turned wrestler,
(37:39):
and the fact that he was able to take to
it that quick and that easily and take it seriously
as he has. It's like, you can dislike him all
you want, Like the guys, you gotta admit the guy's good.
Speaker 1 (37:51):
Yeah, the least. And he has less than twenty five
matches as well, so which.
Speaker 3 (37:55):
Is which is nuts? All right?
Speaker 1 (37:58):
So the main I did you had like two hundred
matches on how much barrier you will be?
Speaker 3 (38:03):
Geez? I don't know. I'm with you. I want to
see him commit. I would love to see him on
the show more. And I don't know, have matches on,
have matches on SmackDown, Maybe even do a Stinton NXC
most of some of the guys there, I don't know,
it'd be interesting, all right. So the main event is
a fatal four way match for the heavyweight Championship Seth Rolins, CM, Punk,
(38:28):
jay U Soo and l A Knight. Again, it will
be negative Nancy here. There was nobody that thought Seth
Robins was gonna lose, right, Like, nobody in the in
the entire world thought Seth Robins was gonna lose at all.
(38:48):
And then and then jay Uso was quote unquote, so
he definitely wasn't gonna l A. Knight. Looks like he's
just happy to be in the main event, which is
fine because you know, people it's funny. People were bitching
about La Knight not being used properly. But and it's like,
I think Jeff Lipman said this where he's like he's
on the show every single week and he's always in
(39:09):
one of the marquee like moments on the show, So
how is he not being used? So I don't know,
So the I guess the two odd men out are
see I'm Punk and Seth because they're still continuing this
ongoing feud which just seems like it's never gonna end,
which probably by the end of the year a mania.
(39:30):
And there's a spot in the match where Seth pulls
out the steel chair and he's telling Seth and he
was telling, I hate you, I hate your family. I
want you to wrestle honey Law. And then Seth counters
it and goes for a GTS. But you see the
camera the camera pans out because you know somebody else
is in the ring, and it's a very petite person
(39:52):
who's wearing a ski mask and black clothes and it's like, yep,
that's Becky and it's Becky. Becky low blows Punk, Seth
wins and then yeah. I mean again, we obviously knew
Becky and Seth that were married, but now they've officially
decided to repair them again because they were paired together
(40:14):
at one point, and that kind of wasn't fun or interesting.
Speaker 1 (40:19):
That was was that during the Baron Corbin and uh
uh l Licy Evans? Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was probably
what like a like one show, one pay per view.
Speaker 3 (40:34):
Yep, Baron Corbin end of dazed her and then he
looks at Seth and goes, what are you gonna do
about it? You piece of ship? So that that was
a pretty big moment. But yeah, that's that's how Clash
in Paris ended, which I don't know, maybe I noticed this,
but like the crowd did not react for it. Like
I I was hearing the crowd, and I think WW
(40:56):
had to pump in like crowd noises of them, you know,
doing this thing. And I noticed people in the front
row we're not even singing. So I don't know, but
that was Clash in Paris. Do you have any thoughts
on the show.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
Well, as far as the Mattress concerned, I thought the
matchs was was a good main event, was a I mean,
it wasn't as good as I was expecting, but I
thought it was still a good main event. I mean,
we didn't know that Seth rons was gonna win. There
was no chance of anyone else winning that belt outside
of Seth Rollins. Now, I did think at one point
I was like, well, who's gonna come? Help Come help
(41:34):
Seth Deculnce was in my head. I did think that
that was a favorite for for me. But I was like, man,
what if Eliot Dragonov comes out here, because he's close
to returning too, So I was like, oh, man, we
have Ilio mixers return here and joined the group. You know,
I think I will like that, but end up being
you know, end up being Becky, which we now know why.
(41:59):
Obviously we're gonna have that that uh mixed SAT team
match at Russell Palooza. So so the fact that she
is now on the Vision and now that on top
of all that too as well that she and Seth
get to work together again and now they're gonna be
as Heels versus Bay Faces. I'm kind of and I
(42:20):
kind of like what they did on Monday as well.
We'll talk about that as why I did like the
segment with with a Punk and Becky. I thought that
was actually actually pretty good actually, but you know, I
wasn't like upset everything that that Becky is with Seth
you know in the vision. I mean it makes sense
to me, So I mean I don't really have no
(42:40):
major issues with thats right now. But you know, we'll
see now talk to me, you know, two months down
the road, could this change maybe, but as right now,
I'm okay with it.
Speaker 3 (42:49):
But that was Clash in Paris, a decent show, predictable
main event with really no heat on it, and Russop
and Seamus had the best match of the night. Uh
The crowd was, you know, white fucking hot for Sina,
you know, because all crowds are gonna be white hot
(43:10):
for Sina. He's retiring in a few months. And the
rest of the show was so so we're gonna move
on to raw Rall was back in France. Uh So,
it came on at one pm in the afternoon. They're
gonna come back to the States this Friday. Big. The
big talking point overall was a CM punk coming out
(43:34):
and wanting Seth Rawlins because he wants to beat his ass.
He wants revenge, and then seth Rollins's music plays, but
it's really Becky coming out. Becky is imitating her husband,
and she comes out and talks to Punk pretty much
to tell them, you know, I know, kind of kind
of to just tell him the same thing that Seth
(43:55):
has always said, which is I don't like you. But
I guess her reason was a little where she said,
you know, I kept having to hear your during everyone's matches.
I kept having to hear your name during my matches,
and it let everyone know that they don't care about me.
And then when the fans are training a j Lee,
it was like she doesn't work. And I thought it
(44:20):
was interesting what they were trying to do because it
seemed like there was an element. I mean, obviously there's
an element of truth, but like you can tell there
is some heat. You know, there is still some heat
with see them Punk and Becky and sas family, but
you know they're working together because they're making money. But
then it, I don't know, maybe this's solemn feeling. Maybe
(44:44):
I'm being mister negative, but it's just like I thought,
Becky kind of not necessarily flubbed up some things, but
the crowd was really it seemed like they were getting
to her a little bit because she started flubbing up words.
You can tell she was cracking up. You can tell
see them. Punk was crapping up, cracking up a little
bit too. Afterwards, Uh, Seth came out and you know,
(45:07):
doing his usual Seth stick, and Punk tries to go
after Seth and then Becky gets right in his way,
and then he gets around her, and then he turns
around and Becky just starts hitting him, you know, throwing
these little yeah, she slapped them, and Punk's not selling it.
And then she starts doing that weird head thing, like
(45:30):
she puts her head in the middle of his chest,
Like she does the same thing my cat does when
it's hungry. It starts like rubbing against my chest and
my arms. I don't know it was that was kind
of that was kind of cringe. I gotta be honest.
That was kind of cringe. And then you know, she's
like talking shit to Punk while he's walking out, and yeah,
(45:53):
although Punk tells her, your your husband's gonna regret cashing
in his money in the bank on me, and your
ear're gonna regret putting your hand ends on me. So
and then Friday, like we mentioned, is going to be
in Chicago it's already sold out show, and yeah, it's
(46:17):
kind of the worst I guess best kept secret, or
it's not even a secret at all. That allegedly, I
want to say allegedly because we don't know what's gonna happen.
I mean, we do know what's gonna happen, but for now,
I'm for now, I'm just going to use the word allegedly.
A J Leia is going to come back on SmackDown
in Chicago, which is where her and Punk live live
(46:38):
together since they're a married couple if you don't already know,
and be her and Punk versus Becky Lynch and seth
rawlins at Russell Palooza. So, first time seeing AJ back
in a wrestling ring or in a WW ring in
ten years. But it's a pretty big moment because people
(47:01):
love AJ. I mean they've been claiming for AJ to
come back for a while, especially the Women's Vision people
like Becky or not not not Becky Bailey, Roxanne, you know,
they're all big proponents for AJ, and uh, I want
to see AJ come back. I liked AJ so but again,
(47:23):
we will we'll cross our bridge when we get to
it on Friday. But overall, what do you think about
all this.
Speaker 1 (47:30):
I thought the segment was an a segment, not a plus.
But at a segment, I thought Punk was fantastic. I
thought Becky was fantastic. Was a little bit cringe in there, Yeah, sure,
but you know, but I really think that's a go
away from the segment whatsoever. It felt real, especially on
Becky's in and that's the best things in wrestling when
(47:51):
things feel real. So I really enjoyed.
Speaker 3 (47:54):
It, all right, And how do you feel about aj
Lee possibly coming back?
Speaker 1 (48:02):
Like aj Lee? I'll say this though she was good
for at the time, for what she was, and I
think that when she comes back is going to be special.
And I don't think she's gonna be like full time obviously.
I think she's just gonna be, like, you know, maybe
just maybe it's just a one off match. I don't know,
(48:23):
we don't know what her schedule is gonna end up being.
But I guess I don't want to say I don't know.
I don't want to put it in a way where
I'm kind of like dismissing her or kind of like,
you know, not acknowledging her for what she did. But
(48:43):
do people overrate aj Lee? I like do they overrate her?
And like obviously she was a big proponent of you know,
give divis a chance and all that stuff, right, So
like I'm not taking out away from her, and I
thought she was great at what she did, but just
as overall do I think I won't say that she
(49:05):
is overrated, but I think people her and make it
seem like she was like, oh my gosh, it was like,
you know, the number one thing, you know, the you know,
women of all time and you know and all that.
I'm like, I don't know about that. I liked her,
but you know, I don't think she was to that level.
Speaker 3 (49:25):
They they do over they I was gonna say, romanticize.
They like to romanticize his career, which again like loved AJ.
But it's like when you compare her to a lot
of other women, you know, past and present, especially present.
You know Charlotte, you know, uh, you know Becky, she's
(49:47):
done a lot more, Uh, you know Bailey, who else
you know live you know, it's kind of getting up
there too, you know obviously Rha, obviously, Bianca, obviously you
know Osca and EO.
Speaker 1 (50:02):
Where where does a J Lee rank all time? Like
as far as to w we not necessarily just in ring,
but like the tall package for women, Like where do
you think she will rank? Top five? Top ten? Like
like what would you think?
Speaker 3 (50:22):
Hm? Hm, you know what, I don't even know. I
don't even know if I'll put her in my top ten.
Speaker 1 (50:31):
Yeah, no, she won't be top ten for me. She
won't maybe something of fifteen.
Speaker 3 (50:35):
Maybe, well, I think a total package. You know, you
know Lex Lugar, No, uh, you know Rho, Ripley, Bianca, Osca, EO,
who's another one? Bailey?
Speaker 1 (50:49):
I'm not even thinking. I'm not I'm just not talking
about today. Sable, Miss Elizabeth, Tris Stratus, China, Uh, Bianca, Becky,
Sasha Bailey.
Speaker 2 (51:08):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (51:09):
Just those names right there already are are ahead of
our EO. All those names right there to me are
ahead of A. J Lee was bad. It's just that,
you know, I.
Speaker 3 (51:27):
Don't know about Sable. I don't know if I put
Sable over a J.
Speaker 1 (51:30):
You don't think Sable was more popular than AJ Lee.
Speaker 3 (51:37):
I think it's probably even evenly matched.
Speaker 1 (51:41):
No, I'm sorry, man, Well you I get I guess
you weren't paying attention. Nineteen ninety ninety nine, Sable was
fucking over.
Speaker 3 (51:50):
Bro I I was paying attention because I was watching,
and yes, I don't know, but are you saying.
Speaker 1 (51:59):
Sable is not over based off like why? Like what
were you based on off of Sable not being like
she was? She was on TV shows or like talk shows,
talk shows right, like talk shows, playboy, like every fan
was going nuts over like like like what are you
(52:20):
based off of?
Speaker 3 (52:22):
I mean, yeah, obviously she had the popularity as far
as like star star quality, but you know, WW did
a good job at really put a lot of smoking
mirrors in front of that, because once you get in
that ring, it wasn't really anything to write.
Speaker 1 (52:38):
I wasn't talking about the ring. I mentioned miss Elizabeth.
Speaker 3 (52:42):
Elizabeth is an icon, like she's an icon?
Speaker 1 (52:44):
Well okay, well, I mean I'm just saying that. I
think if you, if you were to ask, if you
get too wrestling wrestling will not too wrestling fans, but
you get wrestling fans together that star wars. You know,
who's watched everything, right, I think the majority will say
(53:05):
that Sable was was more popular than aj Lee.
Speaker 3 (53:10):
I don't know people chant for aj Lee more than Sable?
Speaker 1 (53:15):
What do you mean?
Speaker 3 (53:16):
I don't know. Do you hear more people chant for
aj Lee rather than Sable.
Speaker 1 (53:21):
Are you talking about right now today?
Speaker 3 (53:24):
I mean for the past ten years?
Speaker 1 (53:26):
Well, of course, has anyone chant for Miss Elizabeth or
China in the last ten years?
Speaker 3 (53:32):
I mean China. China seems to get more love.
Speaker 1 (53:35):
When when's the last time you heard Miss Elizabeth or
a China chant?
Speaker 3 (53:41):
Not on Miss Elizabeth but China. I'm saying popularity. I'm
not talking about chance popularity.
Speaker 1 (53:47):
What Sable I'm telling you, man, Sable was. I'll just
leave at that. I'm just saying Sable was. She was.
She was the it girl for for a while.
Speaker 3 (53:59):
Yeah, it's not me too.
Speaker 1 (54:00):
Forgot about Sonny. Sonny's up there too.
Speaker 3 (54:02):
She was, Oh yeah, Sonny was. What was the most
downloaded woman on the internet in the nineties.
Speaker 1 (54:07):
Well like ninety six. I mean it wasn't much. It
wasn't much, you know, people to download more like ninety
six ninety seven. But yeah, and then.
Speaker 3 (54:17):
She that what happened happened? But yeah, that was you know,
the big talking point overall. The rest of our was
what it was. Jay Uso came out more serious, no
less yeating. He came out, you know, in uh sunglasses
and a dark shirt and wanted to revenge on Breakers
(54:41):
and Reid, and then they came out beat him up,
and then Jimmy Big Jim came out and defended his brother.
So it looks like the USOS are gonna be reuniting
to take on the Bronze.
Speaker 1 (54:55):
I think I think that's a great spot for for
for both. I think in Loos is back together is
a good move, even if it's only temporary. I'm down
with that.
Speaker 3 (55:05):
And big Gym I believed. It was announced on Monday
that Stephanie Russell Eo Sky for the vacant Women's World
Championship again match either Match of the Year candidate or
definitely a woman's Match the Year.
Speaker 1 (55:24):
I I, man, I don't want to overhype this and
just end up being not necessarily disappointed, but just end
up being like, oh, man, I thought it was gonna
be better. So I'm just keeping my my expectations and
I won't say low, but like, even so when it
does happen, like if it if it oversecises expectations because
like I think, like I don't want it to be
(55:45):
like a J Sales versus Shins can not go more
where it was a good match of Russell May, but
people were thinking it was gonna be the Russell Kingdom
match from you know, a couple of years before, and
it'd even come close to that. So so I'm just
hoping that, you know, that both women go out there
and they have a fucking gas match. But I'm not
going to try to, like over a hype, like get
myself too hyped up for it, you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (56:08):
I think they can knock it out of the park.
I mean because I believe so too.
Speaker 1 (56:12):
But I'm just saying, like, I just don't want to.
I don't want to hype myself up to a point
where where like, oh man, I thought I'm just gonna
be you know, fantastic, and then I get upset over
it because I was expecting more. So like I'm I'm
gonna tipper my expectations just a little bit so that way,
when the match does happen, Okay, if it sees all
this expectation goes higher than then I'll be happy, you
(56:34):
know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (56:36):
No, No, I get I get you. I just I
just think, you know, they've had two matches before then
all they both end disqualification, and they were both very
good matches. EO can bring it. Stephanie can definitely bring it.
I I think these two are not in my opinion,
but no, I see what you mean. As for the
(56:58):
rest of the show, the Judgment Day versus the Kabooki
Warriors Kabooki Warriors Kabooki Warriors one. Finn Baler versus Dragon
Lee in a singles match, I thought this is good. Uh,
Dragon Lee really get to show off his strength at
the Triple A show. And Finn Balor, I mean Finn
(57:21):
balas just Finn Balery at this point. He's you know,
he's gonna be the guy that goes out there and
then wrestles and has the probably one of the better
matches on on TV. So this was fun. I can't
really say too much about it. Yeah, the New Day
in Grayson Waller versus the war Raiders and Penta Penta
(57:43):
and the war Raiders won and afterwards the war Raiders
did the Penta Strut, so that was kind of cool.
Speaker 1 (57:51):
Also, they seem like they've been doing the the Penta
shot at a house shows two with Punk and Sammy's ang,
which is pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (57:58):
Yeah, that's kind of fun. I get again. I love
howse shows. I love I always miss seeing stuff about
house shows, especially when I always.
Speaker 1 (58:07):
Thought that like ww, I mean, I mean, they're not
gonna be on Peacock anymore. But I'm really a proponent
of having a live camera feed, no commentary at a
house show, one shot and just let it go and
like people watch, if you got pay a little bit
higher tire to get that, then't do it. But I mean,
(58:30):
that'd be something I will want to see, you know
what I mean. But I don't. I don't think they ever.
I mean, I'm pretty sure they thought about that, but
you know, I don't know why they have have yet
to go on with that as of yet.
Speaker 3 (58:43):
Yeah, there's they had. They had so many opportunities to
do stuff like that, stuff like you know how how
show feeds release the tapes of OVW. But then again,
I don't know who owns the rights to that of
you know OVW from like the two thousands. You know,
we get to see like the prototype John Cena and
(59:04):
Randy Orton and Deacon Batista and Brock Lesner and then
you know ce ce them Punk and nov W like
that would have been fun, but then again, I don't know.
I don't know who owns the rights to those states.
Speaker 1 (59:15):
I mean, whoever owns ov W Now, I don't know
val Snow owns it, but you know, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (59:21):
That would have been fun as fuck.
Speaker 1 (59:26):
I can look it up real quick. It is owned
by UH, also by Danny Davis.
Speaker 3 (59:31):
Okay, well there Danny Davis. There you go, Danny Davis,
the man.
Speaker 1 (59:35):
Oh no, who know, he's the founder. I'm sorry, he's
the founder obviously. No, it's owned by Morley Sports Management, UH,
Craig Greenberg and Matt Jones.
Speaker 3 (59:46):
Again. I know WW is trying to cut costs on things,
but it's like, I don't know, I think that that'd
be something they should consider.
Speaker 1 (59:53):
I mean, that won't cost him anything though, because they
they already bring camera crew there. I mean, I mean well,
I mean I was gonna cost some like like pennies
to upload it to to ESPN, you know what I mean,
but or not even esping. They get to probably put
on peacock because n xcs on peacock, and if they
were to do house shells on there, man, I think
(01:00:15):
if they were smart, they will put house shells on
there to have people keep peacock and so they can
still get revenue out of Peacock.
Speaker 3 (01:00:21):
For that, but Netflix same thing.
Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
Maybe yeah, yeah, sure that'll be cool too.
Speaker 3 (01:00:29):
But Peacock would be I think a little bit more interesting.
Adam Pierce told Finn Balor Or told Dominic that Finn
Balor and Jesus Christ that Finn Balor and McDonough will
not be allowed at ringside for the main for the
match against a J, to which Ballor had a devilish
grin in the back. So still teasing that heel turn
(01:00:54):
Dominic versus AJ styles for the Intercontinental Championship. This is
really good. I kind of wish this was on the
paper instead, but you know, I guess they wanted to
give AJ's moment the crowd singing for Aj, which to
which Aj looked genuinely happy and almost emotional. It was
(01:01:15):
probably the biggest reaction that AJ's ever gotten in his
whole career.
Speaker 1 (01:01:19):
I'll say this too, sorry, right, but this crowd was
way more lively than the pay of view crowd. Now
saying the pay of view crowd wasn't likely. It was
very lively, don't get me wrong, but this raw crowd
was like it was on to another level, man, to
another level.
Speaker 2 (01:01:37):
Man.
Speaker 1 (01:01:37):
It was it was fan fucking fantastic. And they were
still in the same arena too. They were still in
the same arena, so they had like twenty thousand for raw.
I think that was the biggest raw, one of the
biggest raw crowds of all time.
Speaker 3 (01:01:51):
Oh, definitely like they they were reacting to everything. They
love the shit out of that. And also an interesting
note here it said Michael Cole mentioned that this was
the first on the inter Continent title was defended in
France since nineteen ninety three. And I'm trying to find
(01:02:15):
out what was three I met who it was? Who
it was? I'm sorry, Oh, I have right here.
Speaker 1 (01:02:26):
I was gonna say, maybe it's probably Sean Michaels versus
I don't know who.
Speaker 3 (01:02:30):
I have right here. So April eighth, nineteen ninety three,
se Shawn Michaels successfully retained the Intercontinent title. Tell Bob Becklan.
Speaker 1 (01:02:44):
Oh Ill, Okay, that's a random match.
Speaker 3 (01:02:48):
But going back to this match that occurred, this is good.
I'd like their Summer Slam match a little better, but
this was really good. And the crowd again, they reacted
their hearts out for this match, and I thought this
was a pay per view quality match. And again it
(01:03:10):
was one of those things of like, you know, it's
slipped my mind of like who's gonna come Dom, Like
is it gonna be, is Live gonna returned? Is? Like
I don't know, somebody were not thinking of gonna come
out and help Dom and ended up being El Grande
Americano because him and Damer are in cahoots with each other.
So it looks out it looks like Old Grande is
gonna feud with AJ, which that'd be that'd be pretty fun.
(01:03:33):
Not gonna lie, that'd be pretty fun to watch. And
AJ is gonna go on to UH World's Collide next
Friday as an intercontinental champion. It might even work out
as a champion.
Speaker 1 (01:03:44):
That's definitely a possibility at this point. Yeah, we'll we'll
talk about that next week though.
Speaker 3 (01:03:52):
Yes, sir, and we already talked about the Becky and
Punk thing h j u So and l A Knight
versus Breaker to read I don't I think we might
have talked about that already. Jimmy Uso came out and
defended his brother after the match, Reid and Breaker won,
But like I mentioned, big Gym came out and that
(01:04:14):
was the main event actually afterwards. Uh, there was a
clip that came out where here Ripley came in and
celebrated with La Knight and Jay Usa where she was
eating and then her and La Knight did the I think,
what is it the the house party dance where they
like grab each other's legs and like jump up. Yeah,
(01:04:37):
so that was good. That was kind of cool. But
that was WRAW. That was wrong. The crowd, like I said,
like you mentioned, the crowd was the crowd was really
hot whole show. They were probably like more livelier than
than the the pay per view. So but do you
(01:04:57):
have any more you have any other thoughts on that
before you?
Speaker 2 (01:05:01):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:05:01):
No, But I I enjoyed ro I was. I thought
Raw was a good ten. I thought it was really good.
Speaker 3 (01:05:10):
I'll give it an out of ten one. So let's
go NXC real quick. We'll kind of bruce through that
and then get to the news. The show opens with
Jada Parker versus Lash Legend. I thought this was fun.
I like both of these women. Lash Legend is a
(01:05:30):
candidate for most Improved. She's gotten a lot better. I
think it's kind of funny that her music is a
takeoff of chicken Head. If anyone remembers that song from
the two thousands. And then Jada Parker is fucking awesome.
She's great. I mean, she even caught a promo on
social media where she was talking shit about Lash Legend,
(01:05:54):
so that was kind of cool. And her and Lash
had a really good match. He had a really really
good match, and it looks like this feud is an over. Afterwards,
Jada ended up beating up Lash and did her was
it hypnotic hypnotic move driving her through the guardrail, So
(01:06:15):
that's not ending anytime soon, which I'm which I'm glad
to hear, because both of these women are really good.
Javan Evans came out and cut his sad baby face
promo where he was apologizing to the crowd, and I
said this on social media because I think this was
(01:06:37):
something you pointed out about Javon Evans where it doesn't
sound like he's cutting a wrestling promo. Just sounds like
he's talking like he's just talking to the people being
himself and might not work for other people because he
did kind of you know, flub over a few words,
but you know, again, he just sounded like a guy.
He just sounded like a dude.
Speaker 1 (01:06:56):
But I think I think it's better for him to
flub over words because it seems more realistic because it
sounds like he's just talking. Because if you're just talking,
you're gonna flub over your words because sometimes you're just
spinn at the mouth and you're not thinking about what
you're saying. So versus like a wrestling promo where it's
(01:07:16):
like I am talking and I'm going from point A
two point B, two point c, and make it a
wrestling promo where Javon is just like, yeah, I'm just
you know I'm here. You know I'm here for you guys,
and you know it, and it it sounds real. So
I'm okay with him flobbing up words because because his
promo style is very real.
Speaker 3 (01:07:38):
All right, No, I agree. I I like the way
he talks because he just sounds like a dude. You
sound he sounds like a dude. We all know. He
sounds like someone's little brother that we've met, that he's
our little brother too. So uh well, you're still there, okay,
lost you for a second. And so while he's talking
(01:07:59):
on the screen, you see somebody on a motorcycle driving
up and we don't see who it is we assume
it's the Undertaker, and but for a second, I'm thinking, like,
is it the Undertaker? Why would he come out right now?
And all of a sudden you hear the gong, but
it's really Josh Briggs, which I thought. I thought that
was good, like Josh Briggs being the ultimate troll and
(01:08:20):
being a heel, being the kick ass heel, which is working.
And then he ends up beating the shot out of
Javon Evans and they set up a match for next week.
But how do you feel about about Josh Briggs uh.
Speaker 1 (01:08:37):
With his Hill turn. I mean they're trying something different
with them. I mean I don't hate it or anything
like that, but I mean it's not fully there for
me yet, but I'm willing for it to work out
and see where it goes. I like.
Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
I like Josh Briggs. I've always liked him. You know,
when he was in the tag team with with Jensen,
I looked at him as like, oh, I think he's
there's more you can do with him than you can
do with Jensen. And I remember I was talking to
RJ about it. R J is not the biggest fan
of Bridge. Not sure what, but I.
Speaker 1 (01:09:11):
Think Japan when he when he did the uh the
tournament uh in in All Japan with when him and
Tavian Heights went over there and everyone thought that Josh
Briggs was gonna be like that big star kind of
like a Stan Hansen over there and ended up being
(01:09:31):
tab On Heights. Everyone really, uh really took to tavy
On Heights during that tournament over there in Japan, So
it was like it was last year when it ever happened.
Speaker 3 (01:09:40):
They're both they're both very good. I think tavi On
Heights for him, you know, he definitely that athleticism in
that uh you know, you know wrestling background.
Speaker 1 (01:09:48):
You know, he's like the he's like the Kurd angle.
I mean, I'm sitting I saying he's like as good
as Kurd aingle. Don't get me wrong, but I'm saying
he's like he's like the Kurd angle where he's like
the amateur wrestler with the sup plexes, and he's starting
to get over organically with his n ring stuff, and
he does have a personality too.
Speaker 3 (01:10:06):
Yeah, it's getting there, and you know he's he's with Ethans,
so Ethan's gonna work over time to put him up.
But yeah, I know Briggs, I like, I mean, I
don't know. I like Briggs. I think Briggs does okay
in the ring. I don't really see him being like
a huge star in the company. I think he's he's
the I say this is a compliment almost. I think
(01:10:31):
he could have a Baron Corbin like career. He can
be there Baron Corbin as far as like a big,
a big dude that can go out there and make
everyone else look better. Do you think that's fair to say.
Speaker 1 (01:10:48):
Man, that's that's that's loaded. I sure for times sake, sure.
Speaker 3 (01:10:59):
Okay, Right next as you had a tournament for the
WWE Speed Women's Championship Tournament. Zia Brookside from TNA versus
Cannie WWE. Good seeing Zia Brookside. I like her.
Speaker 1 (01:11:16):
I mean she's she's a weird scene her back on
ww TV for a little. I mean, I mean, it's
not weird because obviously she's part of TENA, but it's
just kind of weird just because like she was in WWE.
Her dad still works in w W, you know what
I mean. So and she was here, she was here
like last year doing an indie show. There was a
(01:11:36):
there was all women's show. That's ram that was ran
by Molina and so it was like Zia Brookside was here.
I'm trying to think of who else is there, like
Alison k Donna Rosa. So yeah, so I mean it
seems like she's still grinding out and still still trying
to get.
Speaker 3 (01:11:53):
Better, you know. But it was good. Sooner good sooner,
I thought. I thought the match, I mean it's a
it's a speed match that it was like what like
three minutes. Yeah, and it was fun because you know,
both women got to work more with a sense of urgency,
(01:12:14):
and you know, Candace ended up winning, which makes sense
because they're not gonna They're gonna have Zia win, which
I would have I would have liked of Zaia one,
just just me personally. But uh so Cannis wins and
she's gonna move on to face whoever wins the next
tournament match, and then faced soul Ruka for the title
at had No Mercy. Uh the screen is a movement,
(01:12:39):
all right. So Trick Williams comes out as the teenage
Champion and talks about how he's essentially, you know, doing
what he always does, says he's the biggest star blah blah,
and then d I y comes out, and I guess
they're baby faces now who point out that?
Speaker 1 (01:12:58):
Well, I mean, well, I mean sorry to interrupt you.
I mean it's not just DL White came out. They
came out with their old merchandising with their OG theme.
So I mean that got They got a huge pop
out of me. I mean, I don't know for anyone else,
but they got a huge pop out of me, you
know what I mean. Yeah, we're going. I mean and
also as well, I think they I think they're suffering
(01:13:19):
their ten years in WWE, which is crazy to think
that Giant Gargano and Too Muscle Champa have been in
ww for ten years? Where have the where has the
time gone?
Speaker 3 (01:13:32):
Exactly? And they just basically got the promo saying that
you know you're you've been successful, but we've been successful too.
We both we both have been NXC champion and tag
team Champions and North American champions. We haven't been t
at the TNA champion. And then they they beat up
(01:13:52):
Trick and then they do their superkick to him, which
again Trick Williams getting beat up again by random main
roster guys. I'm just like, I don't know if that's
a good look, but uh trick, William teases that he
gonna bring in another partner, which I'm gonna guess. I'm
gonna go ahead and guess Carmelo.
Speaker 1 (01:14:17):
No, we'll see hopefully.
Speaker 3 (01:14:21):
All right, So but again, the crowd loved the show
that segment. So what do I know right yet? Kallie Armstrong,
who's the current of all women's champion versus Jordan Grace.
This is based off of Jordan Grace interrupting her match
(01:14:41):
with was it would she wrestle? She was wressing somebody
a few weeks ago, and then she interrupted the match
and because she was mad and she wanted to take
her anger on somebody. And then earlier in the night,
she interrupted another segment with Blake Monroe and now Ariana Grace,
(01:15:06):
and she came in and then back and then Callie's like,
you know, this is the second time you've interrupted something
of them. But she really wasn't involved in it, but sure,
so she went out and she requested a match with
Jordan Grace in the ring. And I'll be honest, this
is my first time seeing Cali. I don't watch a
(01:15:27):
lot of Evolve. Probably should, but again.
Speaker 1 (01:15:31):
I mean with what time?
Speaker 3 (01:15:34):
Yeah, it comes on to b and if you turn
on your VPN to the UK you can watch on YouTube.
Speaker 1 (01:15:40):
I mean, I mean it's yeah, I mean, I mean
it was on tonight. I can't tell you what happened
on it, you know.
Speaker 3 (01:15:48):
True, but I'll say I'm impressed. I'm impressed by Calira.
I'm strong. I think she she has the personality, and
she has a look. She's not terrible in the ring.
I mean she's she's very good in the ring, I'll
say that. And she's believable against somebody like Jordan. She
looks like she belongs. So how far she goes is,
(01:16:12):
you know, up to her. But my first stuff, my
first uh you know, look at miss Armstrong. I'm impressed.
I got Samon, So we'll see how she does in
the future. But eventually Jordan wins because you know, we
all knew that was going to happen, and Blake comes
out and they all fight, and then it looked like
Jordan busted Blake in the mouth because Blake was bleeding,
(01:16:35):
even though you know Blake has bled far worse before,
but this is her first time bleeding in WWE. So
they're going to continue this feud, which which I don't mind.
But how do you feel about Callie Armstrong?
Speaker 1 (01:16:51):
First of all, I mean she looked find the ring.
I mean, you know, i't want to seem more of her,
but I mean so far very positive for sure.
Speaker 3 (01:17:01):
And how do you feel about the Blake and Jordan
feud continue?
Speaker 1 (01:17:05):
So I'm fine with it. I mean, there's no there's
no rush for me to for this few, and I'm
enjoying both women's work so and I think they're I
think they're really they're really uh making Jordan look strong
still but also as well establishing Blake. So I'm good.
I'm good with this few continue at least one more match,
(01:17:27):
at least one. I don't think he needs to go
more than after one more major match.
Speaker 3 (01:17:31):
So correct. Then he had Andre Chase versus Josh Briggs. Uh,
chap inned after Josh Briggs punked out Chase. You, of
course Josh Briggs got the win. Uh. Next week it
will be him and Javan. And the main event, which
was an eight man tag match. You had Hank and Tank,
(01:17:55):
the NXC champion, Opa Femi and Ricky Starks versus Dark State.
And this is a fun main event. I really did
enjoy it. I really, I really dug it. They're telling
their story about Ricky and Oba, where you weren't sure
if they were going to try and get along before
(01:18:18):
No Mercy, which in this case they almost did, and
they didn't because Oba Oba just does whatever the fuck
Oba wants to do. I mean, he said in an
interview that he's not necessarily a heel face. He just
he does whatever the fuck he wants to do. And
Ricky Starks as Ricky Starks. I thought it was kind
of funny how Oba imitated Ricky. He did the absolute pose.
(01:18:41):
So it was kind of interesting seeing Oba with more
of a sense of humor, being a little bit more human.
And during the match, Ricky and Oba started fighting, and
they fought outside of the ring and out of the match,
and so was Hank and Tank on their own during
the match? Was was it a Jaint Cutler James? He
(01:19:06):
has I think Tank?
Speaker 2 (01:19:09):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (01:19:09):
He has him ran in the ring, and then Tank
just yells Joe Hendry randomly, and then Joe Hendry appears
on the apron and Hank and Tank get the win.
So Dark State with their first loss. So but that
was how an next ends. The first loss is a
(01:19:30):
team I believe. So, okay, do you have any thoughts
on that?
Speaker 1 (01:19:37):
I thought it was a pretty uh average, not in
a bad way by average NX teammate event. I thought
it was. I thought it was good for what it was.
Speaker 3 (01:19:49):
All right, So did you watch Dynamite tonight?
Speaker 2 (01:19:53):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (01:19:54):
Yeah, what'd you think about it?
Speaker 1 (01:20:00):
What do you think about it?
Speaker 3 (01:20:02):
I didn't watch it?
Speaker 1 (01:20:04):
Oh okay, well we can move on in it's cool.
Speaker 3 (01:20:07):
I mean I think that people would be interested to
hear your review. Yes, yeah, okay, all right, just gotta
throw that out there. So news, Well, let me bring
up something I have. It's just one thing. I don't
know how you feel about it. Uh So where is it?
(01:20:32):
I have it right here?
Speaker 2 (01:20:34):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (01:20:34):
Matt Riddle reportedly no showed a Global Wrestling Kingdom charity
of current MLW World Champion who is in a lot
of hot water over a show he may have blown off.
Culture Hollick reports that Matt Riddle no showed Global Wrestling
(01:20:57):
Kingdom's a New Kingdom Rises event and the England This
past Sunday. Riddle was scheduled to wrestle Simon Miller. He
was subsequently replaced by Grado.
Speaker 2 (01:21:09):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (01:21:10):
Grado said, I got a phone late Saturday night from
Al snow see Liam the promoter to make the five
hour drive. I don't know, I say this right a
Shire to Barnsley, Riddle complained about flight and hotel accommodations
(01:21:31):
up to the GWK event. The claim Riddle had had
been booked for the charity event, which was raising funds
for Survivor domestic abuse and Homeless Veterans through his manager
months before and the lead up to the show, however,
Riddle began complaining about his flight and his hotels and
(01:21:54):
claiming the was too cheap. Attempts to play Kate Riddle
by organizing wrestling seminars to earn him some money failed
to materialize, and Riddle, who never canceled his booking, didn't
fly to k days before, and an email correspondence between
(01:22:14):
Riddle and g w K, Riddle told the promotion he
had taken another booking but could still potentially make the
show Sunday. At that point, however, Riddle never responded to
further GWK emails. He proceeded to attend Real America Freestyle
ever Saturday, with reports emerging that he's since express interest
(01:22:37):
and joyation, and on Sunday was in Bocan, Rotan, Florida,
teaming with Stallion Rogers and the surprise appearance and GWK
issued reguarding the meet and greet. Matt Riddle has yet
(01:22:58):
to return his deposit it for the show. So and
then he put out a video where he basically just
again just says a bunch and says a bunch of
nonsense and causes the fans.
Speaker 1 (01:23:10):
Out, well, what did he say?
Speaker 3 (01:23:15):
I mean, I can pull it up. It's just I
it's just him being an idiot. But hold on, I can,
I can. I can easily pull But.
Speaker 1 (01:23:26):
Like did he say anything like, oh, you know, travels
messed up or they're liars or well, I don't know,
you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (01:23:34):
Well, no, he I mean I think I kind of
mentioned it where he happened more so to do with
like his He claimed it had more to do with
his like his accommodations or what like is a flying
or booking or whatever. But I'm trying to look for
the actual Sure, and then he randomly makes more comments
(01:24:00):
about Sam Ponkin, calls him a creep, and then makes
comments about oh, here we go, here we go. All right,
So it's a pretty long quote so bear with me,
he says, I'm gonna make this quick. GWQ. The reason
why it ain't go is because you booked me a
flight for Thursday for a show that was happening Sunday.
(01:24:22):
And you said you were booking me meet and greets,
other matches and appearances. You did none of that. I
had nothing scheduled and I was going to sit in
a hotel room for two days in London. I told
you multiple times I couldn't do that or do that,
and I got worked Friday and Saturday and Thursday. I Thursday, Friday, Saturday,
(01:24:42):
and I told you I would fly to Saturday evening.
You said, you pay for it. I go, no, you
pay for it, took it out of my pay, take
it out of my pay or what you guys refuse.
So I flew to Miami and rustled there. I never
said I would. I wouldn't pay you guys back. That's
a lot. Also, this show wasn't a charity. That's a lot.
(01:25:03):
That was a last second That was the last second charge.
You also booked me to the worst flight in history,
middle seat, no meal, no check bag, GWK, this is
probably your last run. And then he went on to
just have a very incoherent uh you know, Brent where
he's just cussing everybody out and cussing out the factions are.
Speaker 1 (01:25:25):
Okay, I didn't know about the video, so I just
didn't know what what was said.
Speaker 3 (01:25:29):
So al Snow put out a video I think even
prior to this where he's or actually no, I have
her here, uh col to Hauk Wrestling says, contrary to
Riddle's claim, Al Snow announced that it's a gwk's anour
show would be donated to help for homeless veterans and
(01:25:51):
survivors of breathement by suicide. Riddle cut a social media
promo for his match with Simon Miller three weeks after
Snow's announcement. So someone's lying and someone's selling the truth.
I'm gonna go ahead and say that Matt Riddle's line
and he's full of shit. But let me let me
(01:26:13):
kind of say my piece the study for somebody's downfall,
especially Matt Riddles. It's like, it's amazing how much this
guy has fall favored with people and how much of
a just just how much of a fucking idiot this
guy's I mean, the word idiot gets thrown a lot,
(01:26:35):
but in this case, this guy's this guy has really
ruined so many opportunities for himself. Like there was a
point where this guy was over, Like this guy was
really popular in ww TO where I was thinking like, hey,
maybe he can be a world champion. I don't know, maybe,
and you know, the bro thing was getting over, the
RK bro thing was getting over, and he just completely
(01:27:00):
fucked himself up, leaves WWE, and it just gets worse
because the guy cannot shut the fuck up, Like he
cannot shut the fuck up to save his life. And
this happens. So I don't know. As far as I'm concerned,
I'm set Matt Riddle. I he's becoming worse than Rye
(01:27:23):
Back once during that period of time, and Ryan Back
has actually become sane at this point. But I don't
know what the fuck is going on with Matt Riddle.
He's kind of getting to del Rio, you know patterns,
but this guy's more playing simple. But how do you
feel about it?
Speaker 2 (01:27:44):
If?
Speaker 1 (01:27:44):
To be honest, I really don't give a shit, See
he says, she said, I don't really care. I don't care.
I mean I don't.
Speaker 3 (01:27:55):
I mean, it's not really he said. I mean, it's
kind of proven that Matt Riddle blied.
Speaker 1 (01:28:00):
I don't know. I'm not there. I can't you know,
I'm not there. Okay, I don't know. You know what
I mean, right, you know, I mean I can't really
mean it is Matt really possibly most likely, but I'm
not there to to to the family like oh yeah,
I'm I'm picking this side and yeah, Matt Reel is
(01:28:20):
doin lying. I also I can't say like, oh, yeah,
you know, you know the promotion is lying. Like these
stories I don't can care less about at the end
of the day because it's like, yeah, you know, his
downfall does need to be studied. I will, I will
(01:28:41):
agree with that. Bass at the same time knows like
this has no relevance to whatever WWE or AW is
doing right now, and these stories I can give two
fucks about unless he's out there killing people, uh, you know,
like like like Rosar Jackson last week unfortunately didn't get
to talk about that. But or if it's like or
(01:29:01):
if it's like, you know, something bad happens to and
I and I get you know what it was, but
he said it wasn't for charity. You know, who's to
say who's to say that he's a liar to that?
But who's also to say that that the promotion is
lying as well? So it's just he said, she said.
I I don't really give any energy to these stories.
Speaker 3 (01:29:25):
Okay, all right, but that's all the news I had.
Speaker 1 (01:29:32):
All right, Well, I have a couple of news stories here.
These are very short. One. Tico announced in a press
release that the extension of their partnership with the T
Mobile Arena in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, Jesus in Las Vegas,
my apologies. The renewed agreement guarantees a minimum of for
(01:29:54):
annual UFC events and two WWE events through twenty thirty.
So it looks like WW will be in Las Vegas
at least two events a year, at least two next
out of the year. So doesn't mean it's going to
(01:30:14):
be you know, it doesn't mean it's gonna be. Well,
it's a Team Mobile arena, not not the not the
huge Allegiance Stadium. So so this could be for pay
per views maybe or wherever the case may be, but
or raw or SmackDown. But but WW seems like they're
they are starting to make Las Vegas their new home.
Speaker 3 (01:30:37):
From what it looks like, yeah, it makes sense. I
mean I think I heard, I think I remember it's
either Kevin Nash. I think Kevin Nash that mentioned this.
Where when they when they when w CW almost was
vitalized in their big bang paper, it was going to
(01:30:59):
be in Vegas, yes, yes, yes, yes, you're right, and
then Vegas was supposed to be the new home, like
it's supposed to be the new headquarters for WCW. But
you know, obviously that never happened. So it looks like,
uh donald ww's moving from Mill Stanford, Vegas. So that'd
be kind of I'd be kind of cool.
Speaker 1 (01:31:17):
That's what mentioned, like the lease of the the lease
of the w W headquarters. Once that runs out, rumor
is that they may be going to Vegas. But that's
like years down the line though, so.
Speaker 3 (01:31:31):
Right, I'm fine with it. That's pretty cool, all right.
Speaker 1 (01:31:35):
And this is a very short news topic here, but
it's coming from five Full Select and Seawn Ross SAP
and five Fall Select has learned that some higher ups
in ww are pushing to a to hold a major
event in China, specifically Hong Kong in the coming years.
(01:31:56):
So ww X China, uh not not obviously the Hall
of Famer, but the country holing a major event in China.
I mean, I mean Saudi China, Like you know, let's
let's that'll be pretty I'll say that will be a
(01:32:16):
very interesting crowd. I don't know how the crowd will
react in China. So what would you think about a
actual like a vent in China? Like how like how
do you think the crowd would be? What type of
vin you think they'll do out there? Like what what
do you think about that?
Speaker 3 (01:32:37):
I mean, I mean again, I like, I like the
international shows in general. Then being in China will be
fun because I know they've been trying to get in
bed with China. That sounds that sounds awful that I
need to I need to reverse that statement they've been
trying to do business with China because I think they
were trying to do NXC China or was it NX
(01:32:57):
Japan Japan? Okay, and what was the last time they
were actually in China.
Speaker 1 (01:33:05):
That's why I'm looking up right now. I'm not sure.
I think I'm all.
Speaker 3 (01:33:11):
Have it, Okay, go ahead? Uh September twenty nineteen. The
last time WW had a large Arenas event in China
was September twenty nineteen in Shanghai Hiatus the Turn event
in September twenty or or that's before that never mind.
So but yeah, September twenty first, which is actually yea
(01:33:36):
uh that'll be coming up in six years, so yeah,
that's pretty cool. I mean, I got I got no
issue with that.
Speaker 1 (01:33:46):
Is it going to be ever l TV or anything
in China? From from my understanding, so, I.
Speaker 3 (01:33:53):
Know they had a random rawle in Japan that was
like from yeah five.
Speaker 1 (01:33:59):
Or was the Raw SmackDown? I think it was both, okay,
because I remember JBO fighting that dinosaur or gogzill or
whatever it was.
Speaker 3 (01:34:07):
Yeah, I think the main event of Raw was triple
a truss edge something and then that was that was
the bit we're on SmackDown where somebody shot JBL with
a tranquilizer dart and he was pretending to be all
loopy and he, like you said, he takes off his
(01:34:28):
pants and starts fighting. God's Big Show comes in. So
that was when they're having their few. Yeah. Again, I'm
fine with it because the more international shows the better,
Like I want to see a show, I want to
see shows overseas. We haven't really gotten to see any
because you know we've we've obviously the Saudi show is
(01:34:50):
you know, it is what it is. You know, we've
seen a lot of shows in London and Australia. It
would be fun to explore countries that don't get a
lot of w W E. China, like, uh, you know
what's another country? You know, Mexico would be fun. You know, Brazil,
(01:35:15):
you know Puerto Rico, you know those are those would
be fun to watch. Uh, I don't mind it. I
mean if if it's a plee, that'd be even that'd
be even better.
Speaker 1 (01:35:26):
Africa they'll do like in South Africa or Nigeria or
something like that that would be different.
Speaker 3 (01:35:33):
Or India, those would be fun. I think, aren't they
doing a show in India?
Speaker 1 (01:35:41):
I'm not a pay per view. I think it's just
like a regular there's like a like a tour. I
want to say.
Speaker 3 (01:35:46):
I may be wrong, but you know, so I wouldn't
mind it.
Speaker 1 (01:35:50):
Oh you know I think this something came out about
India though. Yeah, I think you're right, Like recently now
I'm thinking about it.
Speaker 3 (01:35:56):
Right because I'm almost positive I heard there's gonna be appealing.
Speaker 1 (01:35:59):
Yeah, yeah, I believe so let me see. Yeah, they
well they announced that there's gonna be a major pl
e in India in twenty twenty six or twenty twenty seven.
Speaker 3 (01:36:14):
So nice. Yeah, I'm fine with that. It's just you know,
put up more, put up more content overseas. So that's
just me. Yeah, that's that's how I feel about it.
Speaker 1 (01:36:31):
Okay, And I think that's it for me as far
as news.
Speaker 3 (01:36:35):
Yeah, that's it alrighty then, uh so we're an hour
and a half or an hour thirty five, so I
think that's a perfect cutoff point. Justin as usual. Thank
you for the thank you for making the show work
the way it does. Yeah, my friend, oh yeah, brother,
the cream rise to the top.
Speaker 1 (01:36:54):
Dig it.
Speaker 3 (01:36:58):
And you can find me on Twitter, x d y Experience.
You can find me on TikTok Drew Yard the YouTube channel.
The YouTube channel so far as one hundred and sixty
six subscribers, so it's grown, will.
Speaker 1 (01:37:17):
Be growing like a couple couple of subscribers or the
last stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:37:21):
Oh yeah, weeks or something like that. Couple we've got.
I think it went from like one forty seven to
one sixty six, so ok.
Speaker 1 (01:37:29):
Yeah, about twenty that's that's rest.
Speaker 3 (01:37:31):
Pretty good. That's pretty good. Yeah, I've been promoting like
a motherfucker, so that and also yeah, like I mentioned
the YouTube shorts which justin got me, got me onto,
they're very they're very easy. Another thing that's difficult, I
don't know if I would say difficult is uh, what
(01:37:51):
are the I guess, the most interesting thing the show
that I think people be interested in. And well, don't
want to say that's that's hard to do because we
usually have good ship to talk about the show. So
I usually put out at least four shorts. I did
it for for me and our J show too, where
I just put out shorts, which it's different because me
(01:38:12):
and r J are more the show, not like us.
But those did pretty well. Our ours ours do, I
think a little better. And uh, we usually get a
lot of views and comments on TikTok. I mentioned that TikTok.
I mentioned that TikTok gets more views than YouTube, So
(01:38:35):
I mean, sometimes they're engaging. Sometimes you'll have the people
that just want to you know, be goofs, but you
know whatever. But yeah, people, Yeah, just subscribe to the
YouTube channel. That's really all I have to say. Subscribe,
leave a like in a comment, and uh, the audio
(01:38:57):
portion for the show is you can hear it on spreaker, Spotify, iTunes,
and wherever you listen to podcasts. And another thing I
want to point out that I don't usually bring up
is we get paid on spreaker. And I've noticed because
(01:39:17):
usually we get paid every other month on Spreaker. We
just got paid, you know, another month because we got
paid in July and then spreaker ended up paying us
again in August, which I'm like, oh, we got paid
back to back months. That's cool. Granted it's not like,
(01:39:38):
you know, we got paid, you know, hundreds of thousands
of dollars, but we still get paid. I mean, it's
still it's still cool to get paid, you know, regardless,
and sometimes the sometimes that fifteen or sixteen dollars, you know,
it could really come in handy. But again we're I'm
just happy. We're just happy to get money at the
end of the day. That's really all that matters. And uh, yeah,
(01:40:02):
I mean, Speaker's cool about speakers Speaker Paisy. So anyone
that's interested in, you know, creating a podcast, I would
say try a spreaker because speaker Speaker takes care of you.
So shout out to speaker, mister mister speaker if you're listening.
But uh, that's that's enough out of me. What about
(01:40:23):
