Speaker 1 (00:22):
It is time for but Drew Yari Show.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Drew Yari, all right, welcome to the show. Everybody. We
are alive. It is Wednesday, and this is another episode
the Experience. I am Drew. Justin is not here. Justin

(00:55):
is doing a family thing tonight. But we are not alone.
We are joined here by the Beard, the Beard himself.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Yeah, what's going on, guys? Is your boy room prime
and it's prime Time's deffly prime time.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
So I'm here. How you doing, Drew?

Speaker 2 (01:21):
I am, I'm doing pretty fine. I am just living life,
trying to get by, trying to enjoy the little things
in life, even though some of them aren't always the best.
But I just try to Again, I just try to
make it through life like everyone else. So but you know, again,
I have good friends, I have good family in my

(01:43):
life to kind of keep me centered. Insane one of
those things usually occurs. It usually works out for the best.
But but yeah, man, we're here to talk about a
few things. It's not gonna be a long show tonight,
so we just kind of keep it simple. Russell Palooza

(02:04):
happened over the weekend the first WWE p l E
exclusive on ESPN or the ESPN a limited app. I
believe that's what it's called. And also I guess to
talk about the fallout on RAW and the the TNA

(02:25):
invasion on NXT. We can talk a little bit about that,
as well as the PWI five hundred lists. It just
dropped yesterday and Mish was so nice to give me
a copy of it, So thank you, miss if you listening.
But and of course if we don't have time for it,
we'll just leave most of everything for another day. But Rubin,

(02:49):
did you watch Russell Palooza?

Speaker 4 (02:52):
I did.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
I caught the majority of it, and I know we're
going to get into the review and.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
How we thought about it, but.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
I mean just this overall, I'm was not impressed. Like
I know, Triple Atron on X said that you know
there's gonna be big surprises, and you know, you always
gotta take what he says with a grain of salt.
So I was like, yeah, after the Stephanieve Bachhaer and

(03:32):
EO Sky match, like just the rest of it was
just background noise.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
To be honest, No, I give what you mean. I didn't.
I didn't dislike the show the way most people, you
know weren't nuts about it. I thought it was good.
I didn't think it was great, And to kind of
piggyback off of what you just said, like, I mean,
Triple H really did hype up the show, and yes,

(03:58):
he's supposed to hype up the show, but he really
kind of set some pretty false expectations, you know, you
know about like oh, there's gonna be some surprises and
some shit's gonna happen, blah blah blah, and nothing happened,
no surprises, no debuts, no returns, nothing. I mean, it

(04:20):
was just it was a very The best way I
can describe it is it was a very safe show.
Like there wasn't anything over the top or I don't
want to say not memorable, because I really like Stephanie
and EO. I thought they had a really great match,
and I went in thinking that that's going to be

(04:42):
a Match of the year candidate. Could I mean, could
even be match of the year. But other than that,
everything about the show was kind of safe, you know,
very generic in some ways, and I just I think
that's on WW. I think that a lot of that's
on Triple H for not bringing in some good ship,

(05:07):
you know, you know, as the kids would say, you know,
other than you know, announcing Stephanie McMahon would be inducked
into the Hall of Fame. You know, that's that was
that was your big surprise, inducting your wife into Hall
of Fame. What you know what, you know what basically right.
But you know what, I can't be mad because I
like Stephanie. You know, Stephanie genuinely looked like she was surprised.

(05:29):
She looked happy about it. So good for Stephanie.

Speaker 5 (05:34):
Yeah, yeah, no, I'm I'm I'm I was happy about that,
like because Stephanie, you know, we grew up watching Stephanie
McMahon and you know, Undertaker has extensive history, so you
know it was only fitting for him to you know,
induct her and you know you.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
Take her by surprise.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
But yeah, it's just you know, with you know what
the TKO now, ESPN, Netflix era, it's just very safe, yeah,
to have like breaff and pockets of you know, excitement
and but overall, like it's just very sanitized.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
It's very corporate.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
For you know, for my taste, right, you know, and
let's let's talk about let's get into Russell Palooza. So
Russell PA the like I mentioned, the first big WWPL
on ESPN, anyone that anyone that has a Netflix account,

(06:41):
if you live overseas or if you have a v
or if you have a VPN that you know, twenty
twenty six Hall of Fame inductee Stephan McMahon was pushing
for you could watch it on Netflix if you switch
over to Canada, UK or any other I believe I
know mish that he used. I think he use Brazil
or Portugal, one of those two. But I watched it

(07:04):
on the VPN because I'm not gonna spend thirty bucks
on another app. And speaking of which, apps are fucking insane,
how much they're raising the prices, you know that, I
mean that could be that could be a topic you
know on culture Deck. Just these apps are insane, and
I'm seriously debating on cost cutting and at the point

(07:26):
where I just want to cost cut everything and just
go back to the old ways, to the ways of
the Cowboy. But uh, Russell Palooza Indianapolis, Indiana and Gamebridge Fieldhouse. Uh,
there were five matches, which I kind of figured they
would do six matches, or at least at a six match,

(07:48):
Like I was thinking, maybe I don't know real Ripley.
Why wouldn't real Ripley be on the show. She's you know,
not only the most overwoman in the WWE and also
in wrestling, but she's also one of the most over
people in general. Like why she not on the show?
So I don't know, right, urch Arg made an interesting

(08:12):
point where he said, you know, I forgot how he
worded it, where he said, it seems like Riha is
more for his show and not go.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
Yeah, I can see where he's coming from with that.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Right, which I get it, because you know, I think
it's like with any booker, you want to protect your
biggest stars, you know, and with someone like Ria, all
Ria has to do is just show up on screen
and people are gonna go ape shit. And I get that,
but it's like, again, your first big paper on ESPN,
you would want all your heavy hitters on. So I

(08:48):
don't know, but anyhoy uh. The first match the show
opens actually with a nice with a pretty cool video
package of ESPN's history add or just wrestling in general,
and then you know, of course Triple Edge comes out
and introduces the crowd blah blah blah, and then the
show opens with the first match being brock Lesnar versus

(09:10):
John Cena, and brock Lesner comes out looking, you know,
like a fucking jacked Norse, you know god, you know,
somebod of god of war and yeah, Crados exactly, Yeah,
Crados exactly. And then John Cena comes out looking yellow
as fuck and with a bunch of kids, which you

(09:34):
know plays into what happened later in the match. Yeah,
and the matches you can imagine, was pretty short. It
was about eight fifty, which makes sense. And this was
essentially the match from SummerSlam twenty fourteen, like.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
Yeah, a throwback for a real throwback to.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
That, yeah, right, which which I mean grant, I think
that match was more brock offense. Seena got some offense
in this match, but it didn't last long. I'm like,
Proctious fucking annihilated Sena and just fucked him up. And

(10:19):
the children in the audience were crying, which I I loved,
by the way, I don't know why I loved it,
but I just loved it. When I see when I
see children crying because they see John Cena being just
manhandled and abused, I got some sick thrill of it. Yeah,
but I I picked Seena to win partially because it's

(10:46):
like he's gonna leave in a bit, like why not
give him a win? But then again, I said on
I said on last Wednesday show, and I said on
the Thursday show with RJ, where it's like I don't
really think it matters who who loses, neither guy really
gains anything, but you would think give it to Sena, right, Yeah,

(11:09):
but before the match, Paul Haymond came out and announced
brock lesn which that you got a big poth and
I was pretty and I was pretty happy about it too,
But yeah, brock Leasner wins. The children are crying. What
did you think, rybn.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
O mean, it was just like you said, shades of
you know that.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
A summer slang match, And to me, like there was
no other possible way they could have done this because
like A just just just basic booking himself.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
Into a corner.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
Right, Like Broctus came back and like, yeah, like he's
in a position where he should win, but also Sena
he's in aosition where, yeah, he's going to retire at
the end of the year, and it makes sense for
him to win because you know, he had a few losses,

(12:12):
so it makes sense.

Speaker 4 (12:13):
But yeah, it's just like.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
The outcome wasn't surprising, like I thought Lesendi was gonna
win and as far as Sena and you know, the children,
nice touch, but yeah, those kids were were definitely heartbroken.
Kind of reminded me when as a movie theater watching

(12:38):
Infinity War and when everyone you know, when half you know,
half the universe got snapped away and you.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
Don't get the bad guy winning in a Marvel movie.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
So when it happened, like it was a very big
deal and there was a lot of kids and attendance
in the theater and they were like in shock.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
I heard a few kids crying.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
And I was like, good, like you got to learn
that the world is cruel, like it's not. It's it's
not the typical you know heroes, you know journey he wins, Like.

Speaker 4 (13:18):
No, like they got reality, they got hit real reality.
But you know with Sina, uh, he'll.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
Be fine, he'll be fine. But yeah, this this was
just a typical lesslier match. I mean, it was cool
seeing him just destroy Scena again, you.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Know, yeah again. It's one of those things I like,
it's good to see Brock back, you know, it's good
to see that he's still fucking built like a house. Yeah,
and uh, you know against Sin it will be fine,
you know. Can It was just announced that you know,
Seena's next appearance is going to be the Perth pay

(13:55):
per view in Australia, which is gonna be at seven
in the morning, which and his next match will be
against AJ Styles, which he he pretty much put He
put it on social media, is like me and AJ Styles,
what do y'all think? And he tagged Triple Agent and
and AJ retweeted it and then Triple just went okay, yeah,

(14:18):
we'll have the match. So uh AJ versus Seen at Perth,
so fun should be fun.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
You will think that Sena or See it needed to
do was use his politics and powers because he has
a you know, he has a soy.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
Just the more and more.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
Like we we think back to you know, his past,
you know, his his run like he will think, hmmm,
Sun is up with the creative But anyway, well that's
again another topic for another day. But yeah, you know
Lessner Lesner wins, but we're gonna gets Seena and so
that's gonna be a nice.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Treat YEP and uh yeah, five more appearances for Sina
the Perth pay per view. Uh, he's gonna have one
in Boston, so his last appearance in Boston, and uh,
the week after that is gonna be in Madison Square
Garden for a roall and then SummerSlam, and then the
last one is gonna be in December, which is allegedly

(15:22):
going to be in Washington, d C. Which is kind
of lame, but whatever. Yeah, yeah we got we got
Sena for a few more months. But yeah, you can
also watch him one Peacemaker on HBO Max, which is
fucking awesome by the way. Anyways, Uh, next is he

(15:43):
had a tag team match play a Player the Vision,
Bronson Reed and bron Breaker with Paul Hayman versus the
USOS with l A. Knight as a special guest referee.
This was not a very good match. I mean, it
wasn't a terrible match. It's just it went off the

(16:04):
rails and not in the best way. LA Night being
the referee. I guess I understand it because he's involved
in this storyline somehow. He didn't really add anything to
the show. I mean, he didn't really add anything to
the match. I think if you took him out of
the match, it wouldn't have really changed anything. Still probably

(16:29):
would have been the same match. But again, I mean
for nostalgia reasons, it's nice to see the useos back.
I think I think they belong together. Personally, I like Jimmy.
I like what Jimmy's doing now. I've always thought Jimmy
was the better promo and had more personality and is

(16:52):
slightly a better worker than Jay Jay. You can tell
that the company is already starting to see, Oh, he's
not the guy we thought he was, Like he really
isn't that guy, Like, really really isn't that guy. Like
Eventually the novelty of like he sells T shirts and

(17:16):
sunglasses and has a catchphrase is gonna wear off because
he's just not that guy. Like, I don't know, what
do you think about that?

Speaker 3 (17:29):
No, No, you definitely make some points and listen, like
I like j that he's worked his ass off, but
you can definitely see like and we see it. And yeah,
even though people on Twitter it tend to be you know,

(17:50):
the lowless you know, a lotless you know minority, but
it's definitely some you know, some legitimacy to that. You know,
and he hasn't he hasn't improved, you know, z in
ring style hasn't improved, his promos haven't improved, and he

(18:10):
had one or two good like good shiny moments on
the mic. Overall, it's just the same catchphrase him like
saying every few words, you know, spacing them.

Speaker 4 (18:20):
Ount batching his promos, and you.

Speaker 3 (18:26):
Know you want to like the guy, but you gotta
separate you know, the man, you know, the man behind
Jay usso because I've been saying it, love the guy,
but he's just not it.

Speaker 4 (18:43):
And ww's finally realizing that.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
And he got you got Jimmy, Like Jimmy, I'll say
he's the better I'm sorry to say he's the better USO,
like just.

Speaker 4 (18:56):
A better worker, better promo.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
And I think with Jay, like there's like definitely some
I don't know, impostera syndrome or maybe he has too
much pressure and he's trying to like live to people's expectations.
So like I can get where he can you know,
feel you just feeling the pressure. But yeah, it's just

(19:22):
not a definitely not a like. And it seems like
they're trying to turn him here, they're trying to make
him into you know, like you know Roman Reigns, you
know the way that Roman Reigns was behaving during the
head of his you know trouble Chief at the table.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
Uh uh you.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
Know, Era.

Speaker 4 (19:41):
But it's this is not it's not working.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
They they need to just like put thuselves back together,
just start with the hill turn like, uh, you know,
because they're teasing it. I I don't think it's gonna
end well if they if they go in this route.
In my opinion, that could be wrong. You know, I'm

(20:09):
just someone talking to a microphone, but just based on
his TI terrain, based on just his interroiom work and
just everything leading up to him winning about and then
after it's just not, this is not gonna end well
if they keep going on this train, like the wheels

(20:31):
falling off and they gotta like they just gotta pivot
to something else or someone else, like, for the love
of God, for the love of God, please, this is
not This is not like people are gonna start getting tired.
The guys in the office, they're just saying, yeah, it's

(20:52):
not working.

Speaker 4 (20:52):
We gotta do something like this. It's okay, like you
tried it fell, Now you try.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
And maybe you know, maybe O fell or maybe succeed,
but try again with someone else that you tried the
Jay was so experiment.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
You try to eat man experiment, it's not working. Try again.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
And him being a heel just doesn't make any sense though,
because he's getting mad at l A. Knight for things
that aren't even his faults, Like he's like yo yo Oos,
you bumped into me ooz. He's like he did that.
That was an accident and you did that on purpose. Oos,
And then he like spears and which, for the love
of God, can they can Jay stop doing a spear?

(21:38):
Like please?

Speaker 4 (21:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (21:40):
Yeah, this is it's like literally like just going in
for a hug, like just leaping doing like.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
The leaping hug.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
Yeah, the definition of a running hug like it like
in sports, you know, we retire numbers, like can we
retire moves? Like just ja Ja should never do spear
Roman unpopular opinion, should probably never do a spirit. Bron
does a better spear like that shit actually looks like
it hurts.

Speaker 4 (22:08):
Yeah yeah, Bron spear like literally and slice from.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
Half yeah like fuck yeah, but yeah, just I don't know.
Just Jap being a heel doesn't make any sense, and
it makes him come off as an asshole like l. A.
Knight If this means Ella and Knight can be something
and get over and do something meaningful like that would
be awesome because it seems like with l A. Knight,
they give them something and then they take it away,

(22:33):
and then they give them something and can then they
take it away. It's like, I get it, the guy's forty,
but either shit or get off the pot, like do
something meaningful with him. That's just that's just how I feel.
But yeah, this match wasn't that great. Jay got busted
open by hitting himself dead with a chair because I think, yeah,

(22:58):
all things and I mean again, I'm gonna laugh, but
it's just like because he legit got you know, busted open,
and it was a video after the match where you
saw Jimmy you know, of course, you know he's gonna
be concerned as his brother and he was kind of
having a panic attack. But yeah, that was just that
was a rough spot. And you know, the Bronze won,

(23:20):
which made sense because you know they're you want to
get them over his heels, but it's like you reform
the USO's and all they've done is lose. So I
don't know, but yeah, next is you had a Stephanie
Vicors versus Eo Sky for the vacant Women's World Championship.

(23:44):
This is a great match. This match delivered. I think
everyone suspected of delivered. I suspected it would deliver, and
it did. Might have went a little too long, but
I it didn't bother me the crowd. The crowd at
first seem to not really know how to feel about
the match because I think I don't think they were

(24:04):
used to the style this match. It felt like both
women were trying to do a lot of methodical, technical
matt wrestling with a bit of Joshi wrestling wrestling, So
I don't know if the crowd was used to it
and they were off to you know, the openers being

(24:24):
as hot as they were, and then you have two wrestlers,
you know, I'm gonna call him wrestlers, not just women
just I mean, they're wrestlers that know what they're doing
and know how to make a match come together. They
also know how to pace the match. So I think
the fans were like, how do we respond to this?
Like what are we doing? And you know, I think

(24:47):
like the last maybe like the last ten ish minutes
of the match, maybe less than that, is when the
crowd really starting to really started to get into it.
There was a dive you know, spot with Stephanie on EO.
I think I think that's what woke the crowd up.
That and Stephanie's ass. Yeah, yeah, them cheeks. Also Stephanie's dad.

(25:14):
Stephanie's dad was in attendance, so it was actually the
first time he had to see her wrestle, so that
that was a pretty nice moment. I again, I love
this match. I can't really say enough about it that
I haven't already said before. I was thinking IO, I
didn't think they would give to Stephanie this fast. But
then again, this whole year, Stephanie has been a champion.

(25:37):
She debuted on NXT one year ago today, which is
nuts to think about. Yeah, and she wasn't even an
n XT for a year, and in that time, she
was the North American Champion. She was the NXC Women's champion,
so she hated becoming a double champion. And then and

(26:00):
then flash forward to now she's the Women's World champion.
So in eight months she's been a champion for both
brands and it's just like wow, Like this girl she
debuted on NXT and she was already like a star
and she was already leaps and bounds better than everybody

(26:20):
on the show. And granted it's developmental, and a lot
of the women on the show, you know that weren't
Julia or Jordan Grace, you know, matter of fact, I mean,
Stephanie is probably better than Jordan Grace. But you know,
the the Jada Parker's, the Klonie Jordan's, you know, the

(26:42):
soul Rucas. You know, we all love them, we all
think they're great, but they on their best day, they
couldn't hang with Stephanie. And Stephanie like immediately came in
and just changed the outlook and the culture of NXT.
And I'll dare even say she was even better than
most guys on the show. You know, she looked like

(27:05):
a wrestler, She did stuff like a wrestler, like a
lucha and she dominated, and you know, bravo to her.
You know, she she won with that with that court
what do you call it, a corkscrew, A corkscrew, a dive.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
Oh, she took her like the moves to finish the match.

Speaker 4 (27:23):
That was the spiral top.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
Yes, spiral top, things.

Speaker 4 (27:26):
Like she she did that so perfectly. I was like,
I was sweet. Yeah, I was like amazed.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
Yeah, my sister in law was watching that with me
and when she saw she one, oh damn like that
that was impressive and but good for Stephanie the brand
new women's world champion. Not to skip ahead, I mean,
we won't talk about Ron it's entirety. We'll just I
guess kind of go back and forth. But on raw,

(27:55):
Stephanie came out and celebrated and gave a nice promo.
She was kind of shifting in and out from English
to you know, her native language, Spanish, and her dad
was there and she talked about how, you know, my
dad has always been there for me. YadA, YadA, YadA.
It was a nice wholesome moment. So and the crowd
loved it. But overall, what do you think about the match?

Speaker 3 (28:18):
Well, I think especially the last ten minutes of the
match is where like things picked up for me and.

Speaker 4 (28:27):
Definitely the highlight of the night saved the show for sure.

Speaker 3 (28:33):
And like we mentioned with Stephanie Baker and her you
know spiral top, like that move was impressive as well
as the Spanish fly.

Speaker 4 (28:45):
Doing doing doing that move and he also.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
Yeah, she even you know, took her her NAT pads
down to being do her double knees to Stephanie and
the uh you know in the corner.

Speaker 4 (29:02):
You know that was.

Speaker 3 (29:04):
That's pretty cool, but also that they cost her because
you know, knees are exposed. So yeah, but yeah, the
towards the last ten minutes of the match, that's when
things picked up and you know it definitely went on
that different gear, you know, and yeah, you know, congrats

(29:28):
to you know, the new Women's World you know, champion.

Speaker 4 (29:32):
I'm happy for her. Like we mentioned during her in
almost her entire ring, her entire runners.

Speaker 3 (29:40):
To say on you know NXT mayor roster, she's been
a champion, so she's you know, she's definitely proven herself.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
She was may roster ready when she got in.

Speaker 3 (29:53):
But the thing is, like I think it was important
for her to you know, learn the system first.

Speaker 4 (30:00):
Then go to the main roster and I definitely think.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
That helped her a lot so she can get seasoned
into that, uh you know, to the w W you
know a way of things of you know working and
all that. But yeah, congrats to her. EO love yo,
like we all love we all love yo here, you know,
no shame, but yeah, this this definitely leads into you

(30:28):
know the story with Osca and and Rihea, So yeah,
I'm excited about that story too, but this, this match
saved the show and otherwise just blah kind of show.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
Yeah, I agree. Next to you had a mixed tag
he at you had see Him Punk and then returning
a j Lee versus seth Rawlins and Becky Lynch. Seth
Rowlins and Becky Lynch dressed up as some type of
villain on a kid's television show, whatever it was. I
don't know what I think someone said. I think someone

(31:08):
said Ivan Ooze from Power Rangers, so we'll go with that.
See him Punk coming out with with AJ Punk wearing
a jacket saying AJ Lee's husband, which I thought was
kind of cute. But yeah, Punk and Aj make a
nice couple. I mean, it seems weird to say that
because they've been together for eleven years, but they seem

(31:29):
like that couple where they're not just a couple, they're
best friends. And yeah, those are usually what makes the
best couples is that they seem like each other's best friends.
And I I don't know, I'm I'm a big sucker
for a lot of these romantic stories, and like Punk
genuinely seems like he loves aj and he cares about her,

(31:51):
and he you know, he's putting her first, Like he
allowed her to come out first on Monday, and you know,
he comes out first and allows Aj to skip to
the ring after he is wearing a jacket saying aj
Lee's husband. So again I thought I thought they're a
cute couple, or I think they're a cute couple. They're
still together obviously, but yeah, uh, this match kind of

(32:14):
went the way you thought it would. I wouldn't say
it was a great match. I mean, it was a
good match. I'm not gonna sit here and say it
was a you know, a dogshit match, but it was fun.
Maybe this is just a me problem. I think it
went a little too long. I went close to thirty minutes,
and I thought towards the end of the match, they

(32:35):
probably could have done a better job, but you know,
with the pacing and maybe wrapping up a little sooner.
But again, it's not my show. I'm not booking it.
But I thought aj looked fine. I think I think
she looked fine for somebody that's been out of the
ring for ten years. I know she was doing that
what you might call it wow. If miss is here,

(32:59):
who he can probably you know, divulge more about that
than than you know, you or me can. And she
also made an appearance on the show Heels with Seampunk.
But as far as like actual entering, you know, wrestling,
I don't think she's actually wrestled, you know, since she
literally retired. But I thought, again, I thought she looked

(33:19):
fine for you know, not for wrestling for ten years.
I do think if we see more of that rust
from here on now, it's gonna be a problem. But
for now, you know, I thought she looked fine. I
will even dare say, you know, Seth and Becky, they
really did a lot of the heavy lifting. Even Becky.

(33:43):
You know, we've been well, I don't want to speak
for you, but like you know, I've I've kind of
been poo pooing over you know a lot of Becky
stuff and just racing a lot of sets stuff. But
I will say Becky really did carry this match, and
she did a great job at making a j a
look like a million bucks. Even even Seth did some
good ship. Like when Seth picks up Becky and he

(34:06):
is about to throw him on Punk and then Punk
moves out the way and Becky just lands on the
on the canvas, and I'm like, oh shit. So they
definitely did some spots where the women were you know,
I don't want to say abuse, but like got hurt
by the men, like when Age, Like when Seth grabs
Aj and like pulls her and then she just falls

(34:28):
on her face. I'm like, oh that that was a
very heel like move, but not to the effect of like,
you know, extreme rules where Baron Corbin End of Days Becky,
although something like that probably would.

Speaker 4 (34:41):
Have been cool. It was so pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
Though, like like like I was thinking there would have
been a spot where where Seth goes for a curb
stomp on Punk and then Aj sacrifices herself for Punk
and that's when Punk just like goes full berserker rage
wolverine mode and just starts beating the everything dog shit Seth.
Like that would have been kind of fun, but now

(35:04):
that didn't happen. There was another nice spot where AJ's
down on the floor and Seth starts doing the skipping.
I'm like, Okay, that that's nice. That's that's that's how
you actually act like a heel, Seth. Yeah, yeah, again
I did, Like I mentioned before, I think towards the

(35:25):
end of the match was when I was like, okay,
let's let's wrap it up. This is going on a
little too long, you know, the table spot, which I'm
like like, okay, I don't know if that was needed,
but sure I did, like I did appreciate the fact
that punkin Seth pretty much allowed their wives to kind

(35:45):
of you know, take the take, you know, take them home,
so to speak. AJ beats Becky by making her tap
out with the what you call the black widow. I
forgot what she called her finish her black widow or
what'd you call it?

Speaker 4 (36:02):
It was a black wallow.

Speaker 2 (36:03):
Yeah, okay, so she wins, and yeah, AJ's first match back.
Look look fine, look fine, but you know she's definitely
gonna have to shake a lot of that rust off.
But what'd you think?

Speaker 4 (36:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (36:18):
I thought the match was fun. I mean, there was
some spots where could have like, definitely you can sense
Aja's ring Russ, you could definitely see it. But you
know it's fine, like her first match back, Like, I
ain't gonna give her, you know, I'm not gonna you know,

(36:41):
give her too much, you know, just criticism, you know,
like it's it's to be expected.

Speaker 4 (36:48):
She hasn't rustled in over a decade.

Speaker 3 (36:52):
But yeah, there were times when I felt like the
match was like it definitely went too long for me.
They could have shaved off like ten minutes and it
would have been fine, or five minutes.

Speaker 4 (37:04):
I say, at five to eight.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
Minutes, they could have shaved off, and I felt the
match could have been perfect for me.

Speaker 4 (37:13):
But it was fun. You know, the table spot, you.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
Know, you know, Becky throwing Aj at punk and and stuff.

Speaker 4 (37:25):
That was funny.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
But Aj really got physical, like she took a lot
of bumps, so did Becky, So you know, you got
to come indo woman, you know, for that they weren't
afraid of breaking the nails, and you know, the right
team won of course, not not surprising, but he you know,
he's got to wait and see how this story pans out.

Speaker 4 (37:46):
But for the match, I it was fun, but yeah,
not not to expect.

Speaker 3 (37:54):
We're not expecting a you know, five star classic from this,
you know.

Speaker 4 (37:58):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
And then lastly, at the main event, which was Cody
Rose versus Drew McIntyre for the w w E Championship,
the match was good. I'm not gonna say it was
a bad match. It was just really really really generic,
like this could have been I was saying all week.

(38:25):
Matter of fact, I was saying even weeks before, you know,
paying to this match. I'm like, if they really want
to want this show to really have some pizazz or
just any kind of buzz, why not just win the
mash like Drew something like I I gave Drew my
Male Superstar of the Year because he had he had

(38:49):
the match the year with Munk, he had a few
years with those forses for a feud match of the year,
And I'm just like, Okay, are they gonna give him
something like give them a world tip because he deserves
a title rain, Like it doesn't have to be like
a year long title range. Just give him a title rain.
And I flashed back to earlier this year with Kevin Owens,

(39:12):
which I'm just like, why not just give Kevin Owens
a title rain, Like Kevin Owens can just beat Cody
and then Cody can just win it back. Cody doesn't
need to be champion for a whole year. Matter of fact,
I don't think world I don't think world title rains
need to be that long. But you know, Triple H
has this obsession with these long title rains, So what

(39:33):
do I know? And then I'm thinking, like, Okay, Cody's
filming the Street Fighter movie, and Drew's the most interesting
character on the show. Why not just give it to Drew?
Why not just let Drew win it and he can
just drop it back to Cody at like say, the
Royal Rumble and then Cody can just you know, go

(39:56):
back to being Cody. Also, again, this is this might
be an unpopular opinion, maybe it maybe it won't be.
Cody is a much better chaser than he is a champion.

Speaker 4 (40:10):
He that's true. That's definitely true.

Speaker 2 (40:13):
The two year long chase with Cody, that was the
money and you know him ending you know Roman's you
know what is it, his fourteen one hundred whatever the
fuck Tittle Rain. You know, that was historic and that was,
you know, one of the biggest moments in WrestleMania history.
Ever since then, like Cody just I don't want to

(40:35):
say is Tittle Rain has been terrible. It just has
been very you know, lackluster to where it just felt
like Cody yeah, yeah, you know, it just felt it
just feels like with Cody he wants to go and

(40:56):
have good matches with people, and I get it. But
the only feud that Cody had for his title that
actually felt like it had a story to it, it
felt personal was the one with Kevin or Kevin Owens,
like that actually felt like it had a story to it.
And again I was thinking, like, why not just give

(41:19):
Kevin the title? And it felt like WW was like, see,
we gave him a title. It's like that's not really
a title. That's more just like he stole someone's title.
I mean, I am happy that he brought back the
old school, you know, eagle title for a short minute,
because that looked fucking beautiful. And I don't know why

(41:41):
they haven't brought it back yet. But I don't know.
Just Cody just he doesn't need to be champion right now.
He's still over again. Someone like Drew I think deserves
it more, and like I said, Drew can just hold
on to it for a bit and then Cody can
feud with Randy, which we still haven't really gotten that yet,
and Cody can just win it back, like why the

(42:03):
fuck not? But they went with the safe ending, which
you know is Cody winning, and yeah, that's really about it. Again,
the match wasn't bad, but it was kind of underwhelming
because it's like, you could have done something big with
this with this show, in this match, But again, what
do I know? But what do you think?

Speaker 3 (42:27):
Pretty much what I said earlier to basically the matches
felt underwhelming, like you knew going in that, I mean,
at least for me, there wasn't any point like at
this point you can't really suspend your disbelief because you

(42:51):
know that they're not gonna, you know, take the belt
off of Cody since he just got it, and you
know with Triple A, his obsession with long terrains, like
Drew winning the ww title back when you know when
the last time he won it was when there was
no fans during the COVID era and he had to

(43:15):
win it. You know, he beat brock Leslian for it,
which still hell of an accomplishment. Excuse me, it was
a hell of an accomplishment, but it was just in
the gymnasium, no fans, and I remember when he won
the title and the camera was you know, on him,
and he was like reaching out at his hand, out

(43:37):
reaching out to the fans because you know, they weren't there,
so he was trying to like through you know spirit,
you know spiritually, you know, get that get that energy from.

Speaker 4 (43:49):
The fans and reach out to the fans.

Speaker 3 (43:52):
It's like you can't even WW can't even do him
a solid, like, hey, like, have you win the w
WW title back? But I don't know, like I just
don't see anybody getting the title. Maybe Randy Orton, I don't.

Speaker 4 (44:10):
I don't think so. Maybe next year.

Speaker 3 (44:12):
But as far as McIntire's concerned, like he is so
improved and great feud you know with Punk, you know,
great match with Punk overall, but now this year has
just been just in the adulgrums. So it's like, you
know how good he is, but due to the booking

(44:36):
and the fact that you know, Cody's the Golden Goose,
you know, a lot of the guys they're just going
to be you know, second, third, fourth fiddle, Like they're
not going to be a booked properly.

Speaker 4 (44:46):
And it's a shame. You know you mentioned, you know,
Kevin Owns.

Speaker 3 (44:50):
I think you should have wanted about had it for
a few months and dropped it back to Cody.

Speaker 4 (44:56):
But they're just afraid.

Speaker 3 (44:57):
I think it's just them being afraid playing a safe
I think so.

Speaker 4 (45:01):
But this match.

Speaker 3 (45:04):
Besides a handful of spots, you know, table spot with
you know, Drew messed up his lag you know, doing
the claim war and then you know the finish of
the match, but it's just was not like it's another
forgetable main event unfortunately.

Speaker 2 (45:25):
Right, but that was Russell Paluza. What grade would you
give it if like number or a letter.

Speaker 4 (45:33):
Grade a C minus, Like it was just like just
overall not good.

Speaker 3 (45:45):
Like if Stephanie and EO weren't on the card, like
it would have been the worst grade.

Speaker 4 (45:53):
I would have given an F.

Speaker 3 (45:56):
Because it's in predictable doesn't always mean bad, but in
this case, when you have you know, asn't coming back
being the Seena k Cole, that's fine.

Speaker 4 (46:13):
The tag match just really just underwhelming, really bad. You know,
the women's match.

Speaker 3 (46:21):
Great, the mixed tag was fun, but you had more
matches that were just not they they just were.

Speaker 4 (46:31):
Not up to par.

Speaker 3 (46:34):
And it's interesting that the matches that were great or decent,
greater decent was ones with.

Speaker 4 (46:41):
Women in it. It's funny enough.

Speaker 3 (46:44):
It goes without saying, but yeah, just the rest of
the car just fell just lacking and I think that
you need at least one or two matches. They definitely
a show could have helped by having another match or
two because like.

Speaker 4 (47:01):
The five card, the five match card.

Speaker 3 (47:04):
I just this, this is not NXT. This is the
NXT NXT back in the day they got they got
away with it. Can't do this here. But yeah, this
C minus.

Speaker 5 (47:18):
That.

Speaker 3 (47:19):
The only reason why is ninety lower is because of
Stephanie and EO and you'll say punk a J and stuff, Becky,
But besides that, yeah, C minus.

Speaker 2 (47:29):
Yeah, fair enough. I think it might. I think I
like it slightly better than you. I would say maybe
a C plus so, but uh yeah, again, just kind
of a very underwhelming show, especially one that had all
this hype for it. I mean, fucking the dude from
USPN gave it a I think I think he gave
the same greate as as C And yeah, it's like

(47:54):
they're with someone that's I'm gonna kiss their as and
ESPN's not gonna get mad about ESPN's like we're not
going to fire him because they gave you a bad cread.
You know, get better. So hopefully this is like an
incentive to for them to put on a better product
or maybe not.

Speaker 4 (48:13):
What do I know, But.

Speaker 2 (48:15):
We go to raw and to segue off to something
you just mentioned, the best matches on the card had
women in it. Raw. To me, the best stuff on
the show is either the mid card or anything with
the women's division and the main event stuff I could

(48:36):
I don't really care for.

Speaker 4 (48:37):
But like.

Speaker 2 (48:40):
You've had this ongoing storyline with Osca, EO and Rhea,
and you know, again, I don't know why I love it.
You know, just Osca verbally abusing Cary, like that's just
so funny, like just started being like Cary and then
Cary just like shrinks in fear. I love it. And

(49:06):
all three of those girls, like you can obviously tell
they're all friends, and seeing them interact with each other,
it just it works because it's it seems genuine, doesn't
seem fake. And you know, EO's great. EO's to me
is the best, probably hands down, the best woman's wrestler today.
And then you know Ria's Ria. You know she's gonna

(49:28):
be over no matter what, and Oscar is always great.
Cary I'm starting to warm up to Again, there was
a point where I just lost interest in anything Cary did.
Now I'm starting to like Cary again, So there you go.
So this culminated in a match which main event of

(49:50):
the show was Oscar and Rhea, and again p l
or paper. I'm just I'm gonna call I slip into
saying Paprio, I should be calling allies, but fuck it,
say pay per view? Uh, pay per view? You know,
quality match with Rihea on Oscar, you know, main eventing
raw and had a pretty good ending. Riha ends up

(50:13):
bringing with winning with a roll up, so she didn't
just pin Oscar, you know, you know, all simple like that.
She you know, rolled her up, so Oscar still doesn't
look weak, you know, it is Rhea and uh after
which or no, after the match Oscar you know, spit
missed in Rhea's face a lot of it because Riha

(50:34):
fucking fucking looked like something on an Avatar, which was
you know, like Jesus Christ, after which EO came out
and confronted Oscar, and then Oscar turned on EO and
then forced Kri to beat up EO. So now Oscar
and Cari officially turned on EO and the culmination of

(50:56):
a storyline. So there's that, But what do you think
about the that match and also the the heel turn.

Speaker 3 (51:08):
Officially, I mean it was definitely months in the making
ever since you know, Oscar returned. They were definitely planning
those seeds and like great like finally, and the fact
that you have EO, Oscar, Carrie and Rhea, like all

(51:33):
all those women are are awesome, you know, fans of
you know, all four of them, and there's something meaningful,
especially Oscar. She hasn't like like this is some at
least for me first time. Oscar isn't something like meaningful

(51:53):
because we know she's like great in the ring and
all that, and she has character, like all we need.
It's a good story for all these women to be
in and we got that finally, and you know the
fact that Carrie was reluctant to because you know she
you know, she loves the Yo, but you know Osca's

(52:15):
you know, just more domineering and you know peer pressure
and all that, so you know there's that, and yeah,
the match like like they were literally just just going
back and forth, like just hitting each other with everything,
and like, I like, just more of this, please, more story,

(52:42):
you know, throwing you know obviously have you know the matches,
but you know, just story, you know, character development, you know,
you know, Rea turned into a smurf where there was
Oscar's store like literally, like it was like a gallon,
just a gallon of a miss like like we're like,
uh like like a like a like a pouch somewhere.

Speaker 4 (53:07):
I don't know. It was just it was just so much,
so much missed and like.

Speaker 3 (53:12):
Literally Rhea turned into a you know, a smurf from
down under because Jesus that that was that was wow,
that was wicked. But yeah, it's that that helped too.
That helped sell like you know, the miss and it's
just like that visual was needed and I can't wait

(53:34):
for you know, what's next. Like how does a story,
you know, evolve, How does it move forward? How does
it progress? Like I'm excited for you know, for that,
and EO is definitely gonna be more over Rhea's definitely,
you know, I felt like she was just spending menandering,
so it's gonna help her too. And it gives EO,

(53:57):
excuse me, gives Oscar something to dude like that she's
as a hill and uh, Kyrie, I think when Kyrie
turns on Oscar thats it's like the fans are going
to go crazy like in you know, you know, audience
is going to go crazy, like when she turns on

(54:18):
Oscar cannot wait for that Kyrie face turn.

Speaker 4 (54:22):
So you have a lot of moving parts going. I'm
like stoked about that.

Speaker 2 (54:27):
Oh definitely, I'm very much looking forward to this. Like
I said, the women, they're the best part of the show.
They you know, we've come a long way with you know,
women's wrestling, especially in WW because you know, ten years
ago this was seen as a novel as like a
I don't want to say attraction, but like you know,
they definitely didn't treat him like an attraction. It was

(54:48):
more like a novelty act. And you know, you know
there was always that that saying you know, which I'm
which I'm guilty of saying. You know that it was
a piss break, Like these are piss breaks. Now, these
these are like you can't miss him because they're they're
gonna be the best parts of the show. They also upset.
You have good talent, you know, that definitely does help.

(55:10):
But as for the rest of the show yet, Code
Roads that came out, you know, just to talk about
Crown Jewel. He's gonna be in Perth this year and
talking about defending his uh was it his crown Jewel
ring which he won last year, his gigantic belt that
he didn't even take home with him. He took the
ring though, to set up the match with Seth Rawlins,

(55:34):
and then Seth Rollins comes out and just brings up
the past, saying, you know that, you know, you think
you're better than May.

Speaker 3 (55:41):
Yeah, I got better that May just have bet at.

Speaker 2 (55:44):
I can't do Seth voice because that's gonna fucking kill
my voice. But I thought it was an interesting promo
because Seth wasn't as animated as he was as he's
usually been, you know, for the past, you know, however
long he's been doing this gimmick like he seemed more

(56:04):
subdued and actually, dare essay, more human. And you know,
Cody just brought up you know the past three times
you wrestled who won? And now you know that was
the the ooh mic drop moment. So sets up a

(56:25):
crown Jewel And there was also a point in the
promo where Seth is wearing this nice watch. I think
it was a roll next and you know tells Cody,
do you know what this watch is? The watch you
got me at Mania. I have not worn it since then.
I'm wearing it now, Like what does it mean?

Speaker 4 (56:43):
Like what is it?

Speaker 2 (56:44):
What do what do I mean to you? I guess
that's where Seth was, you know, coming in and and
you know another thing, you know, Seth and the promo
to Cody is basically like, you know, what do you
think of me? And Cody's like, you know, to be honest,
I still respect you. I just don't really know the
company you keep, you know, And he's referring to, you know,

(57:05):
Paul Hayman mainly. So you get to the back and
Seth is still looking at his watch while Becky is
pacing back and forth like a caged animal, and she's
doing all the talking. I thought that was interesting because
Seth didn't say anything, like I was waiting for him
to just stand up and going he and he didn't,

(57:27):
like he just just he just like sat there and
just stewed over this watch. And I just I thought
that was interesting, like he did a lot without saying anything.
And Becky's like kind of gave off the impression that
she's the one pulling the strings, which I thought was
I thought, I think that's really interesting, Like I'm I'm

(57:48):
now starting to warm up to this, you know, to
this Seth and Becky thing, like obviously Seth obviously Seth
can go, like we all know Seth can go.

Speaker 4 (57:59):
In the ring.

Speaker 2 (58:00):
The character work has kind of been hit or miss,
but Seth Seth again came off more human on Monday,
and Becky obviously works better in this role as a
heel with her heel husband. And yeah, I mean I
like that. I don't, I don't know, I like that,
But how'd you feel about that?

Speaker 3 (58:23):
All the dynamic you know, within that backstage segment, you know,
and the in the dressing room, Like I definitely enjoy
that because normally it's Stef that's talking and pacing and
you know, animated. But the fact that the roles were reverse,

(58:45):
it definitely accomplished a lot than stuff just talking and
doing the generic thing. Like it definitely gave and showed
layers of stuff, especially with the promo we had with Cody,
like what does this watch me?

Speaker 4 (59:05):
You know? What do I mean to you?

Speaker 3 (59:09):
You know, things like that, Like it definitely I think
this is gonna help more with stuff in terms of
character work, and you know, not just being flamboyant and
wearing Becky Lynch's clothes.

Speaker 4 (59:27):
You know, it's more than with that character work, more of.

Speaker 3 (59:30):
That you know, cerebral you know, don't pen intended, you know,
just the cerebral aspect of his character work.

Speaker 4 (59:37):
And that was really good. And I think Becky in this,
like I like it. I'm like she needs to be
doing more.

Speaker 3 (59:45):
Of that.

Speaker 4 (59:47):
For sure.

Speaker 3 (59:49):
And me, it took a while to get here with
me finally here and I'm happy to see that. And yeah,
I'm just really intrigued with us, Like I just hope
they continue it. They just don't stop it for any
like dumb reason, or they just like try to do
too much, like doing what they're doing now is great,

(01:00:10):
and then overtime you build, don't just give it, you know,
do everything at once, or don't you know, slow cook
it too long.

Speaker 4 (01:00:18):
But I'm I'm really intrigued with this, with the.

Speaker 3 (01:00:21):
Story and this dynamic with you know, with stuff and
Cody and Becky you know, pacing around all the like
more that please. And I think this will definitely play
a role with war games since it's you know, it's
close war games. It's going to be approaching soon, so

(01:00:42):
it's going to Definitely, it definitely is gonna matter at
the grand scheme of things.

Speaker 2 (01:00:50):
Yeah, agreed, mess for the rest of all, I mean,
it all was pretty decent. It wasn't a bad show.
It was actually, you know, a lot better than has
been recently. You had more shenanigans with the judgment day.
Uh Dom looking like he's feuding with Russef, you know,
Russef trying to intimidate Dom and Dom asking Finn, you know,

(01:01:13):
can you russell Russef tonight? Finn's like, no, no, I
gotta do that, and then he asked Jad to do it,
and you know, makes it happen, you know, because Roxanne
was like, dude, for the judgment day, do for the team.
So j D again. I've said time and time again
that neck, that fucking neck injury, which happened this fucking year,

(01:01:36):
which is like almost crazy to think about. Ever since
he came back, the dude's been like on his game,
like he I'm at the point where I look forward
to his matches, like I thoroughly look forward to seeing
his matches, because the dude is it's it's almost like
I don't know, I don't know you ever heard you
ever heard those stories about when someone gets in a

(01:01:57):
traumatic accident, it it opens like a new skill set,
like like you get like some type of new skill set.
You can like learn how to play piano, or you know,
you suddenly know mathematical equations, like for fucking JD, it's
like it's made him a much better and more interesting

(01:02:18):
wrestler on the show. And uh yeah, Russe crushing, which
I want to see more of that, please, and JD
selling and wrestling like a mad man, and I thought
that was, you know, one of the better segments on
the show. You also have Bailey who's Crazy Bailey, and

(01:02:47):
again Roxanne, I think she's coming into her character with
the judgment day. Never a doubt on talent because Roxanne's great,
but it's more just characterized and she's really coming in
torn with this character with the Joe Been Dad. It's
working out and eventually she's gonna be a phase and
be even moreover and h Bailey tick in her crazy

(01:03:09):
Bailey gimmick where she's the hugger and then all of
a sudden she's yelling at Lyra and calling her an idiot,
and I just don't know how to feel about the
gimmick like I, I love Bailey, and you know they're
obvious they're looking for something for her to do. They
don't just want to waste her. But it's just like,

(01:03:30):
of all the things you can get Bailey, you're gonna
make her have schizophrenia Like I, I, I don't know,
that's just odd. But she'll scutting them scooting them jeans.
So what can I say?

Speaker 4 (01:03:44):
But that's.

Speaker 2 (01:03:47):
Yes, sir. I'm trying to think anything else that have
on the show those of interest. I mean, I think
for the most part that was RAW unless I'm missing something,
but but that was RAW. And then NXT for the
most part, the big chunk of that show was the
TNA invading NXT. The main event of NXT was Oba

(01:04:11):
Femei who's the NXT champion versus Trick Williams, who's the
TNA champion. And the beginning of the show, you saw
them arrive to the arena, and you saw TNA wrestlers
just randomly pop up in the back like their Pokemon,
and you see Eric Young, I forget who I think

(01:04:33):
Steve Macklin showed up as well, and then when Trick
Williams was walking up, you saw in the distance in
the very very back Matt Cardona, which was kind of
fun to see him back. The main event itself, which
again the story is surrounding it was that you had
TNA wrestlers that were in attendance. The crowd went nuts

(01:04:56):
when Matt Cardona came out. Uh yeah, the match itself,
Trick and and oh. But I thought it was a
good match. I mean, even though you can already tell
where it was going. I don't think these two have
ever had a straight up one on one match, because
every match they'd been in has either been a triple
thread or attack. But I thought, for the most part

(01:05:17):
it was a pretty good match. But then it ended
with Trick Williams slapping Mix Santana and Santana attacking him
and the TNA and NXC wrestlers brawling in the ring.
So they've already confirmed but not really confirmed, a p
l E involving NXC versus TNA, which whatever it's called

(01:05:44):
or wherever it happens, you know it's gonna be good,
it's gonna be a big show. But how do you
how do you feel about that the NXT and TNA invasion.

Speaker 4 (01:05:56):
Things about time.

Speaker 3 (01:06:00):
Considering you know, this partnership at W has with tn
A like definitely makes sense. I'm I'm for it because
it will definitely bring it will bring a lot of
exposure to you know, TNA, and I think it would
be beneficial down the road, you know, for the TV deal.

(01:06:24):
I believe they're they're looking for.

Speaker 4 (01:06:28):
A home.

Speaker 3 (01:06:31):
So there's that, and yeah, like you have so much
talent in TNA, and of course you know, I'm at Cardona, like,
I'm glad that he's back on w W television even
though he's you know, he's in TNA.

Speaker 4 (01:06:44):
But I'm glad. I'm happy.

Speaker 3 (01:06:46):
And then it gives just everyone something to do. It
gives this is going to be I think there's gonna
be a ton of swapping of the belt. I don't
know about over for me, I think Ricky Saints is

(01:07:07):
gonna it's gonna beat them, you know, for the you know,
for the NXT title. I definitely think so. But like
everything else, there's gonna be a lot about swappings. There's
gonna be a lot of a lot of belts changing hands,
you know, because they gotta have chaotic like you gotta
for an invasion. You gotta, like, if you're gonna do

(01:07:29):
an invasion angle. You gotta have you know, belts changing hands,
you gotta have a power struggle, and did God not
like you know, Hogan.

Speaker 4 (01:07:40):
And moral and all like, no, just we we don't,
we don't need that. That that that was. I watched
Teenager in those days.

Speaker 3 (01:07:53):
Two thousand I'd say two thousand and nine through twenty twelve. Yikes,
So just sikes, but still still teena fan. But overall,
I'm excited. I can't wait to see what they do.
Like they definitely gonna get more eyeballs, and again, it's

(01:08:18):
gonna be chaotic. I'm That's what I'm hoping for. I'm
hoping for things to be chaotic. I'm hoping for things
to just be just just all over the place, unpredictable,
having you know, all abouts, you know, changing hands as
sort of a power struggle, and hopefully they do this

(01:08:39):
invasion angle, that they do it right, because we had
a lot of invasion angles and they've just been just
surpar or just plain horrible. So I'm I'm excited. I
can't wait. Glad to see Matt Cardona back.

Speaker 2 (01:08:56):
Overall, and the rest of the NIX he was fine.
I mean, you had Lola Ice and Jacy Jane hype
up their match and both got a good promo. I
thought Lola cut a pretty good promo. It's funny she
brought up the promo from last year where she did
that weird thing where she was crying and dancing, which

(01:09:18):
I'm like, what is this? So and then and then
there was a funny line where you know, Jace brings
up that Lola is famous for shaking her ass, and
Lola's like, oh, somebody, somebody brings up that I shake
my ass, so at least I have the ass to
shake mama, and Jace just kind of snickers and goes, okay,

(01:09:41):
fair enough. But yeah, I thought both cut good promos,
and I I'm almost positive Lola's winning on Saturday. That
almost seems like the way to go. I think I
think Jac's done a good job. I've always liked j C.
I I'm glad she's gotten this opportunity. Granted, it was

(01:10:03):
kind of given to her because they were just looking
for a way to get Stephanie out, But I think
I think Jac's done a good job. I like the
fact that they haven't given up on her and then
just say, hey, we're giving you this title. And we're
gonna give it to somebody else. Like they actually gave
her time to get over and you know, get over
as a champion, and I thought she's done a good job.
But I think Lola's winning it. I think Lola has

(01:10:26):
gotten a lot better in the ring. They've really they
they've really tried to go out to the way, go
out of the way to make her a thing.

Speaker 4 (01:10:35):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:10:35):
They've put her on Triple A Mexico. They want her
to get better, and she's gotten better. Her promos still
need work, but like I mentioned on Tuesday, I thought
she got a pretty a pretty good promo. But I
do think she's winning this Saturday rest NXT was it

(01:10:55):
was good. NXT is usually a very good show. Ricky
Stark's there was a vignette where he's, you know, back
in New Orleans and yeah, but I'm with you. I
think Ricky Starks is winning. I don't really see at
this point who else does OBA beat, Like Oba's kind

(01:11:17):
of beating everybody and Ricky, I mean, to be honest,
Ricky doesn't even need to be on NXC. He can
just be on the main roster like Willy Nilly. But yeah,
you know, eventually, I'm assuming maybe drop it to javaon
or fuck maybe I'm gonna bring out a dark horse,

(01:11:39):
maybe a Josh Briggs. That'd be interesting, But I don't know,
we'll see. I think I think me and Jeff will
be covering uh uh no Mercy this Saturday. So do
you have time to go over this uh PW.

Speaker 4 (01:12:00):
List not the whole thing unfortunately.

Speaker 2 (01:12:05):
Yeah, yeah I know that, but like, what do you
want to start at twenty?

Speaker 3 (01:12:11):
Yeah, we could do it from twenty to number one
or fifteen. I mean, it depends on who's number twenty
because uh.

Speaker 2 (01:12:23):
Well, all right, number twenty is Jacob Fatu.

Speaker 4 (01:12:32):
Hmmm.

Speaker 3 (01:12:35):
I mean as of layasmin book like, he's you know,
top twenty. I mean in terms of potential.

Speaker 4 (01:12:41):
Yeah, but just like I know a lot of names,
it is just just booking, just how they've been booked.
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:12:54):
I think he should be just a little lower just
because of you know, it's current booking. Because he's great, Like, yeah,
Jacob is awesome, but the problem is he's like right now,
he's not doing like he's not doing much like he
I think he's like he hasn't been on TV.

Speaker 2 (01:13:12):
In a while. Who like did he get hurt or
did he get in trouble or what do you do?

Speaker 4 (01:13:20):
I hope not, I hope not. But yeah, that's the thing.

Speaker 3 (01:13:24):
Like twenty, I'll say, like fifty, like maybe forty or fifty.
I mean, I love Jacob Fatu like he's awesome, but twenty,
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:13:39):
Yeah, I mean I can see where you're coming from. Yeah,
this granted, this list started from last year all the
way up into July of this year, so.

Speaker 4 (01:13:49):
Okay, that makes sense. Yeah, that makes sense from that
Yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:13:55):
Yeah, right around that time when he was still the
United States champion, So twenty is fair enough, even though okay,
let me just tell you who he's ranked over Nick Namath,
which I don't even know why Nick Namath is or
no Nick nick Neamath. I was thinking of Ryan Nemmath.
Fu fuck Ryan Nemoth, Nick Namath, I guess sure. Twenty

(01:14:19):
two l A. Knight, twenty three, Mascara Derata, I don't
know who that is, bron Breaker Masha Slamovich, which I
don't know why she's this high in the list, but okay,
h m JF is thirty. That's kind of shocking.

Speaker 3 (01:14:38):
I mean, at that time, he was like trying to
get into the hurt SYNDICID and you know he was feuding,
like he was definitely on TV with feuds. Yeah, I mean,
I mean he's on jf Odor, so yeah, yeah, uh,

(01:15:03):
Like I don't know if again he was he was
booked better between the time of you know, this list
was compiled out of definitely have him a little higher
because I don't know, just I don't know what's going
on eight. I mean, we know what's going on eight
with aw but we're just scratching our heads, like why

(01:15:27):
is though like just doing poorly?

Speaker 2 (01:15:32):
No, I get you. Number nineteen is trick Williams. I
think you should at.

Speaker 3 (01:15:41):
Least so like in top fifteen, I'll say he's just
like one one of the one of the you know,
main event men of NXT.

Speaker 4 (01:15:54):
So yeah, like definitely, yeah, I mean.

Speaker 2 (01:15:58):
He's I mean, he's done a good job. He's another one.
He's another one kind of like a Jay Uso where
has an entrance, has a catchphrase, but once the bell rings,
it's like m M, it's nothing that's gonna blow your mind.
But I do think he's maybe slightly better than Jay
in the ring. But again it's all a matter of

(01:16:20):
we in the ring with But I don't know. I
think he should be a little higher at least because
I think he's had a much bigger year. But that's true.

Speaker 4 (01:16:31):
True.

Speaker 2 (01:16:32):
Number eighteen is Damian Priest. Damien has really falling off.

Speaker 4 (01:16:41):
Yeah it's shame because you know, I'm a fan of Damien.

Speaker 3 (01:16:46):
Yeah, he should be a lot lower just based on
I mean it was like last year when you know,
from Russelemania lean up to Mania and then when until
he lost about Yeah, but yeah, it's just not just
I don't know what happened, like like he's good, like

(01:17:11):
he's he cannot give matches, he has a presence, he
can talk. It's just got to put him in more
meaningful feuds, like if you just have him like now
that he doesn't have the judgment day to feel with,
it's like who does it? Like macintil the already didn't McIntire,

(01:17:31):
so yeah, like who do you have that? That's really
what's like hurting him. He doesn't have any good people
to feel with because he he's a babyface. So but yeah,
he should be a lot lower.

Speaker 2 (01:17:45):
Yeah. Uh. Seventeen is Kanishke Takeshta.

Speaker 4 (01:17:53):
Oh, takea I like, I like him.

Speaker 2 (01:17:56):
I don't know if you should be this.

Speaker 4 (01:17:59):
Yeah, you should should be a bit lower.

Speaker 3 (01:18:02):
But he's like definitely one of the bright spots of AW.
Like I still think they should have like paid more
attention to him, have him like I think he's champion.

Speaker 4 (01:18:20):
I think he's champion.

Speaker 3 (01:18:21):
I'm not sure, but when you know, he was coming up,
like they didn't pull the trigger when when they needed to.
And then also Kenny, they got hurt during their few
like when they're refeuding, so that I hurt.

Speaker 4 (01:18:38):
Yeah, he should just be a bit lower. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:18:41):
Yeah, sixteen is Bandido No, no way too high. Yeah,
I was like, no, like I got nothing against Bandido,
granted to haven't seen a lot of his matches are
RJ would probably RJ and Justin could probably divulge more

(01:19:04):
in that, but like, I know, I think even they
would probably admit he shouldn't be this high. But yeah, uh,
number fifteen is CM punk.

Speaker 4 (01:19:18):
Yeah top fifteen.

Speaker 3 (01:19:19):
Yeah, yeah, I mean he's been having a lot of
matches consistently.

Speaker 4 (01:19:25):
He's been on TV for the most part. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:19:31):
Last year he had a good feud with you know,
with McIntyre. Yeah, definitely, I think fifteen is definitely a
good spot.

Speaker 2 (01:19:45):
Maybe I'm just being biased. I think he should be
a little higher, just just me. Number fourteen obami good
for him? I think, you know, I think I think
fourteen spot. I mean he's he's yeah, I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (01:20:08):
You know, he's he's been killing an n XT still champion,
and at the time of this list he was Definitely
he's definitely like just just getting started. So I definitely

(01:20:28):
think it's a good spot. Or maybe maybe just swap
over from me with seeing punk like I have seen
him put a little higher.

Speaker 4 (01:20:38):
Yeah, like I do, or like I think it's perfect
spot for.

Speaker 2 (01:20:44):
You know who beat him out for number thirteen is
Zach Saber Junior.

Speaker 4 (01:20:51):
Jesus, oh my, Like.

Speaker 2 (01:20:56):
Why does everyone shirkfter this guy so much? Like I
I that guy is the definition of dill. He is
just the guy works at a snail's pace, and everybody's
like he's like Grete a technical rustler ever and blah,
it's like the guys the guy's boring. I don't know

(01:21:18):
what you want, Like, I'm sorry, the guy's not good.
I mean, I don't want to say he sucks, but
he's just he's he's boring, Like, come on, you rank
him over see him punk, I'd bring Taqueshta over him
if I'm picking anyone else. But it's like, come on,
really this guy?

Speaker 4 (01:21:36):
Yeah, yeah, I I just I don't I don't get it.

Speaker 3 (01:21:46):
I mean I've seen it for it was Matches, but
I'm like, okay, like could just pull like three or
four people that Russell's just like him from Dandy's. But
it's just I think it's the name recognition, and you
know that's that's like my own explanation to why he's

(01:22:06):
been why he's like just people like him and they
cried him a lot.

Speaker 2 (01:22:15):
YEP. Number twelve is Joe Hendry, uh big Year.

Speaker 3 (01:22:24):
I mean, yeah, he's he's been again, he's been killing it.
I I don't necessarily think it's it's he's too high up.
I mean maybe he put him like Ancha too down,
but just in terms of again when this list was compiled, yeah,
like it seems fair he's been killing it. He was.

(01:22:48):
I know if he was TNA World champion when this
when this list was made, because if that's the case, thing, yeah,
like definitely makes sense. He was.

Speaker 4 (01:23:01):
They had it then make some of the Yeah he
was teeny Walshington. Yeah, so yeah, definitely makes sense.

Speaker 2 (01:23:08):
I do agree might be a little higher, I mean
higher than CM Punk, higher than higher than Oba. I
think Oba may have may have had a well you know,
you know, I'll take that back. CM Punk should definitely
be over him. But yeah, you know, I'm not gonna

(01:23:28):
take anything away from the guy. The guy the Joe
Hendry song has been around longer before it became famous.
So yeah, the guy's having a big year and then
pretty soon he's gonna officially come to w W, even
though he's pretty much been in WWE for the past
year and a half. And he got to have his

(01:23:50):
Maniam moment. He got to have his row Rumble moment,
so good good for him. I can't really take anything
away from him. Speaking of people I want to take
off this list, Okada.

Speaker 1 (01:24:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:24:05):
I was a big fan of Okada. You know, I
seen him perform at the Garden back in twenty nineteen
when they had that super that super super show you
know with h in Japan Ring of Honor, and it
was fun seeing him perform live. But like that Okada,

(01:24:30):
that that new Japan Okada, like that was phenomenal. This
Okada no, like no, absolutely not not the same. I
just don't understand, Like I know they're paying him a lot,
but at the same time, it's like like he's just

(01:24:53):
he does not feel special like themanda special. That auras
as the kids will call it, is gone, like literally
like it's gone because he's like I don't know, I
he should have went to W. I think he should
have went to W him MJF J and two more

(01:25:18):
in the people should but you know, not the conversation
from the other day. But yeah, I just know he
should be.

Speaker 4 (01:25:25):
A lot lower.

Speaker 2 (01:25:28):
Yeah, I why Like Okada from like maybe ten years ago,
I can see why everyone loved the shit of him,
but Okada now oversee him punk over Joe Hendry, over
over a fucking Oba feme again. I take Takeshta over

(01:25:49):
him all day every day and I barely watched the show,
but I remember Takeshta well enough to know, like that
dude has talent, Like that dude's much more talented, and
I'd put more stock in him then and aging Oda Okada.
So again, we know who writes these lists, we know
who picks these people.

Speaker 4 (01:26:08):
So ye.

Speaker 2 (01:26:11):
Number ten will oh spray.

Speaker 4 (01:26:16):
Uh? I mean objectively.

Speaker 3 (01:26:23):
Yeah, me, I'll still have him a few like notches down,
but just objectively when he came into AW, you know,
he was in a lot of matches. You know, he
was in q in It, in key feuds, So I

(01:26:47):
definitely think that it's like, yeah, I agree, it's still
for me personally be a few like notes down. But
at the time when this list was made, yeah, him
being Bill, It's fine.

Speaker 2 (01:27:06):
Top five moments during evaluation period. Defeated MJF to recapture
the AW International Championship in London, England. At all In
beat friend turn foe Kyle Fletcher in a brutal cage
match at Revolution in March ninth, used his hidden blade

(01:27:27):
elbow to pin Pock and successfully defend his international title.
At all Out made it to the final of the
twenty twenty four Continental Classic Tournament, winning matches against Claudio Cassagnoli,
Brudi King, Juice Robinson and Fletcher before a losing Doakata
also made it to the final of the twenty twenty

(01:27:48):
five Owenhart Foundation Tournament, beating Kevin Knight in the quarterfinals
and Takeshta in the semi but lost to Adam Page.
So yeah, uh yeah again. We know who writes these lists,
and they are certainly they're they're horny for will Ospray.
They love Willospray. Willospray can do no wrong. So number

(01:28:15):
nine is Mystico?

Speaker 4 (01:28:18):
Why? Yeah? Uh, like you said, like you said, they're.

Speaker 3 (01:28:29):
They're a little there, pants are a little tighter, That's
what I'm gonna say.

Speaker 2 (01:28:37):
Uh again, I don't watch I obviously don't watch uh
cmll you know, Mexican Wrestler or whatever. But it's like,
and again, we know who writes these lists, but it's like,
can these people realize that not everybody watches this ship?
Like you're gonna rank Mystico over cm Punk Again, I

(01:29:01):
keep I'm gonna bring up seam Punk's name a lot
during these during these fucking lists where it's just like,
see them punk, who is here every single fucking week,
who has the best matches on the card, who main
evented russell Mania, who's been in more high profile matches,
who had the best feud last year in the best

(01:29:21):
match last year, is somehow number fifteen, And he's not
good enough to be better than Zach Saber Junior or
Okada or fuck it, I'll say will Osprey suck it
Nerds and Mestico like whatever. I mean again, good for Mestico,
good for him, He's he's having a career resurgence. But

(01:29:44):
why the fuck, like Jesus Christ, Uh, number eight is
Seth Franklin rawlins.

Speaker 3 (01:29:57):
I mean again, Yeah, he did have At the time
of the list being compiled, he had the triple threat
gets Punk and Roman.

Speaker 4 (01:30:16):
Yeah, definitely makes.

Speaker 3 (01:30:22):
M h.

Speaker 2 (01:30:24):
I was gonna say it like, yeah, he's at a
big He's at a big year. You know, Main invented
WrestleMania one, money in the bank, cash it in, came
back with a huge Swerve as the world champion. So
I mean, granted, however you want to look at him.
The guy has been booked properly. So yeah, I get
eight makes sense. Eight is fair.

Speaker 4 (01:30:48):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:30:49):
Seven Swerve Strickland m hmm.

Speaker 3 (01:31:01):
Yeah, I mean again, he had uh good feuds. Definitely
had a busy year for sure, especially with Osprey for
sure and hang Man. So definitely think where he's at

(01:31:24):
makes sense, No objection's on. I am yeah pretty much.

Speaker 2 (01:31:32):
Yeah, it's fine. Him at seven is fine. I mean
I I had this back and forth thing with Swerve
where it's like I like him, but he continues to
do and say a lot of stupid ship where I'm like,
why do you need to say that, Swerve, You're you're fine,
you're making money, you're over just please shut up, Please

(01:31:54):
don't make that. Don't make me hate you. Yeah, he's fine.
At seven. Number six is jay Uso, which, okay, again
makes sense. He's been booked again. We just talked about
jay Uso. Where now the bloom is coming off the
road or the Bloomer came out of the roads a

(01:32:15):
long time ago. But he's been booked to look like
a big star. I mean he won the Rumble, he
won it Mania, So yeah, mean he's had a big year.
There's really nothing else to say about. He's had a
big year. Yeah, all right. Number five rookie go to

(01:32:40):
who the fuck is this?

Speaker 4 (01:32:45):
I don't know why is he on number five?

Speaker 2 (01:32:48):
Over jay Uso over seth Rawlins over Swerve over. I'll
even go as far as saying over will Osprey over
see im punk? Why why again? If I need to

(01:33:10):
show this list to justin be like, explain this shit,
Please explain it to me. Make it makes sense. Scored
an upset victory over Zach Saber junior in Osaka, Japan
to capture the IWGP World Heavyweight title. Oh that's why
Jesus Christ. And he's a twenty two year pro, so

(01:33:36):
an old guy at number five over younger probably better talent,
that probably should be higher.

Speaker 4 (01:33:45):
I mean, I don't know, Drew, he's kind of a
young lion, you.

Speaker 2 (01:33:49):
Know, Yeah, young lion. Why not number four? Hangman, Adam Page.
I think it's a little too high.

Speaker 4 (01:34:08):
Yeah, a little bit too high.

Speaker 2 (01:34:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:34:14):
I know I would I have them like a few
notches down too.

Speaker 2 (01:34:21):
I don't know. Page is just weird, like he they've
been booking him to look like a badass, but we
know he's not really about us. And he's one of
those guys that on paper you probably should like him,
but you just you hear about the dumb shit that

(01:34:42):
he's been accused of. You know who he's associated with.
He's one of the many reasons why this company is
in the shape that it's in. And you know, Punk
was right to call him an empty headed dumb fuck
because he still is at the end of the day,
and empty had a dumb fuck and it's just like, again,

(01:35:05):
he's not a bad wrestler. But it's like, I mean Grant,
I mean, out of everyone in the elite, I would
say he's the better wrestler. I would say he's even
better than Kenny, you know, gasp. Yeah, but it's just
I don't know, his attitude is shitty. It's hard for
me to root for him when he has a shitty attitude.

(01:35:27):
And I know, like the saying is that, you know,
we can put that to the side and just focus
on the wrestler, and I get that, but it's hard
for me to get into someone who's just probably a
very shitty and just unlikable person.

Speaker 4 (01:35:44):
Who's like, no, definitely it's you. You're warranted to feel
that way.

Speaker 2 (01:35:52):
Yeah, any of the thoughts on uh, mister Page, I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:35:58):
Like I mean, I want to like the guy, but
just a lot of things he said and then you
know in the past definitely hurt him, like it hurt
his image and he isn't the words because again, like
I want to like the guy Grant in the ring,

(01:36:19):
But yeah, it's just I don't know what. It's just
something that it does to people when they go to
AW I don't know, they just they you just slowly
get brainwocked. Excuse me, brain rots, I don't know. Just
to me, it's like, just stop being such an empty

(01:36:43):
headed dumb fuck please.

Speaker 2 (01:36:48):
All right. Number three is Goonther.

Speaker 3 (01:36:54):
Oh Man, I think you should be just a tabit
lower because you know, just the way he's been booked.
I think if he didn't lose to Jay Uso and
if he would have russelled johnsen It, I think they're
saving that for his last match. But I think if

(01:37:15):
he wouldn't have lost to to Ju, so yeah, I
would see him being at that spot, but since he did,
I definitely think that he should be a lot lower,
not not too low him.

Speaker 4 (01:37:30):
Number five definitely number five, but yeah, I think he's
just too high.

Speaker 2 (01:37:47):
Yes and no. I can kind of see where you're
coming from. Like, I love Goonther, I love anything he does.
Number three or top three in general. I don't I
don't know, like he he's had a good year, but
you know, the whole thing with Jay was kind of,

(01:38:07):
I guess, a blip on his career. Give me one second,
RGI texting me, Yeah, so even though we're about to
end the show, but yeah, he's kind of had an
up and down. I don't want to say up and
down here. He's had a good year, but the stuff
with Jay was just kind of a blemish on his ear.

(01:38:30):
So I do kind of agree where you're coming from
in the sense where he maybe should be lower, maybe
a few notches down. But number two.

Speaker 6 (01:38:49):
John Moxley, No, no, this this list, Like I already
saw how the list was going, and you can tell
that's definitely new Japan.

Speaker 3 (01:39:05):
Aw like like Russell Heavy. Yeah, just no, like John Moxley,
And you know, the death Riders were recently the single
reason why people tuned out watching AW. Just just single reason.

(01:39:34):
And you're gonna put him in number two? No, Like
obviously there's some bias, like if he was like that
in the top twenty five, maybe because I'm not gonna
just shot on him that it was still things too high,
But I say, like top forty, top fifty, but that's

(01:39:56):
like stretching it. No, number two, No, absolutely not. Whatever
this guy is smoking, don't give me an because.

Speaker 4 (01:40:07):
I don't wanna. I don't wanna, I don't wanna again,
it's a rod like like I don't want to rob
my brain. Like just number two really.

Speaker 3 (01:40:22):
Really like sister, whatever people smoking, sniffing, snorting, shooting, up rolling.

Speaker 4 (01:40:30):
I don't know like what like well questions, but yeah,
it's just no.

Speaker 2 (01:40:38):
No, Well, Reuben, I'm glad you asked the question why
he's number two. It wasn't always pleasant to watch, but
John Moxley's fourth run with the aw World title was
certainly impressive, spending across ten months and seven successful title
defenses against both legends like Cope and Samoa Joe and

(01:41:02):
hungry contenders including Jay White and Powerhouse Hos. Received many
an assist from his Jath riderstriots, who were always nearby
to lend a helping hand or a plastic bag. Since
taking on the role of a sadistic, cult like figure

(01:41:22):
a year ago, Moxley has undoubtedly found considerable success, but
has also worn thin the patience of some fans, especially
when so many of his matches devolve into nauseating gore.
Moxley's blood loss is well documented, but so too and
is his natural charisma, and it seems he's sacrificed one

(01:41:45):
at the altar of the other. Despite recent title loss,
mox remains one of the top names and stars of
a W. So, in other words, he sucks, but he's
still on this list.

Speaker 4 (01:41:59):
As literally, what's up, man, what's going on?

Speaker 2 (01:42:05):
Uh, we're at number two, Moxley.

Speaker 7 (01:42:09):
I'll talk about as far as the list, sir, Well,
let's let's color for what it is.

Speaker 8 (01:42:15):
He's on this list number two because he was the
longest running the AW champion last year between the period,
so I mean from that standpoint, that standpoint alone, it
makes sense. But we all know the truth, including his
fans deep down inside, they.

Speaker 4 (01:42:31):
Know the truth.

Speaker 2 (01:42:34):
It's just yeah, at this point, like why I'm gonna
I just sound like I'm the boy who cried Wolf,
Like I don't get what people see in this guy.
I don't I really don't like me and Justin have
had these arguments where it's just like I want you
to point to me on the doll and tell me

(01:42:55):
where he's a good wrestler.

Speaker 7 (01:42:57):
His is the best wrestling and honestly.

Speaker 2 (01:43:01):
No, like the guy has the same like. And Rubin
pointed out perfectly like he's the reason why people tuned
out of AW because of his fucking death writers group
even like AW diehards, like fucking like JD said that
it was a shit group. You know, Jason said it
was a shit group. And it's like he's number two.

Speaker 8 (01:43:27):
Yeah, like I said, I mean, I get it, just
not even having to read details and everything like that.

Speaker 7 (01:43:33):
He was the champion. He was a champion for a
long period of time, especially a long period of time
where this list I'm pretty sure it was concocted. So
from that standpoint, and like I said, I want to
reiterate it again, from that standpoint, and that standpoint alone,
I get it.

Speaker 8 (01:43:49):
Anything else great wrestling matches, yeah, sure, buddy, whatever you
want to tell yourself, ain't it.

Speaker 7 (01:43:57):
But what can you do?

Speaker 4 (01:44:01):
What can you do?

Speaker 2 (01:44:02):
It's just I don't know, do you think that that
this kind of rewarding of media, I don't even say
mediocre of just shitty wrestling matches is gonna make him
get any better.

Speaker 8 (01:44:18):
Because he's mad. He's already who he is at this point.
Ain't demand forty Maxi's got to be forty at this point,
So he's gonna be all he's gonna be.

Speaker 4 (01:44:26):
At this point.

Speaker 2 (01:44:28):
It's I again, it's just like I can see how
people feel about other wrestlers, Like when they say Osprey
is a great wrestler, I'm like, not not my style,
but I can see what you like about him. I
can see why you think he's a good wrestler, you know,
other people. I see Moxley in there, but it's like
he's a great wrestler, and it's like, what.

Speaker 8 (01:44:50):
How at least, like you said, Ospray can blow you
away with athleticism and everything like that. He can bounce
all over the place, and he can hits you with
some power moves here and there and stuff like that,
some other innovative stuffs.

Speaker 7 (01:45:03):
So I mean there's something there, you know what I'm saying,
even if you don't.

Speaker 8 (01:45:06):
Like the fact that he has a cell and this,
that and the other, which I know that's the point
of contention with a lot of people when when a
lot of people just go, oh, he's just the greatest ever,
and people like, but the guy doesn't sell and that's
kind of valid, you know, But yeah, Moxley, I I
generally don't get it either when people when because people

(01:45:27):
argue with me he's the greatest, I'm like, how how
how how is her greatest? I don't I don't get it.
I don't get it. And once again I always say
this whole time too, he's not even the best in
this group that goes to Claudio all the way Claudiosis yeh,

(01:45:48):
Claudio is a fucking freaking nature and he can wrestle
in any company too and still kill it. He's one
of those wrestlers where his wrestling matches are so good,
his moves are so appropriate.

Speaker 7 (01:45:59):
He and wrestle anywhere.

Speaker 8 (01:46:02):
Why do you think clrdio got called up so fast
and w W crdio didn't even last that long in
developmental like, he's one of those few guys that that
came from the Indies didn't last that long, and in
FCW got called up immediately. Now I know he had
matches here and then in NXT, but at that point
he was more of an attraction. But yeah, Claudio when

(01:46:24):
you think about it, as one of the more uh
more guys that his his style and his work and
his moves can work anywhere.

Speaker 7 (01:46:35):
Just a versatile performer. And I mean, like I said,
he takes the cake.

Speaker 8 (01:46:39):
And as much as I don't care for will are Useless,
WILLI Useless is better than John Moxley, WILLI useless When
he does he does well that technical wrestling shit, he
does it well.

Speaker 7 (01:46:49):
And then they got Garcia. Now Garcia is better than
Moxley too. Once again, I mean him and Will eusless
pretty much do the same thing.

Speaker 4 (01:46:58):
But what they do, they do it well.

Speaker 7 (01:47:01):
They do it well, so.

Speaker 8 (01:47:04):
He might be better than Marina Shafield, though ain't a
lie mother's mother. What do you think about that move?
By the way, that is the most dumbest move ever.
She flips the girl over, puts the girl's face into
her tits, and it's like lights out. I don't get
that life whatsoever. The thing is that I can understand

(01:47:26):
maybe if she had big breast, but Marina Shafir has
flat just like that booms ain't big like it's not
I don't. I don't get that move for the light.
She needs to change that quit faster, hurry A simple
ankle lock with douce sweetheart ankle lock, or a guillotine
choke or a dragon sleeper. I mean, but that or

(01:47:48):
a goat ta katami like all that stuff works. But
that you put in somebody's face in your non existent breast, Yeah,
sure that that works out quite nicely.

Speaker 3 (01:48:03):
Not. I mean it's to be expected from over there.
That's why you gotta have creative meetings, you gotta have
production meetings. You gotta you know, tell people know. Sometimes
you gotta be listened like like, don't do that. You know,
it's it's fine, don't don't do that. They try something

(01:48:25):
I was doing, another finishing move. You're trying another submission move.
Don't do that because you're already not taking it seriously.
You're gonna be taken anything less seriously.

Speaker 4 (01:48:39):
Gliss.

Speaker 3 (01:48:39):
It doesn't make any sense, Like it's not logical, you know,
she was like shut you know, pair double d's okay.

Speaker 4 (01:48:50):
Even then they don't suit her character, right, she's mostly
in this group.

Speaker 3 (01:48:57):
You know. It's just again, it's aw like ninety percent
of the stuff they do that doesn't make any sense.

Speaker 7 (01:49:07):
And it's weird though, because her husband is one of
the best, Like roder Strong is one of the.

Speaker 8 (01:49:12):
Best, Like you can twist the violin his back and
he goes to work, goes to work and has these
crazy matches or whatever you mean to tell me, Roderick
Strong can't sit his wife down to go, hey, honey,
this ain't working. Maybe steal my move, Maybe do the
stronghold or something, you know, like I know Jericho's here,

(01:49:32):
but like let's put a twist on it, you know,
lock up the leg and put the knee in the
back and kind of do a shop shooting meets a
lion table like do something.

Speaker 7 (01:49:42):
Different man does that doesn't work?

Speaker 8 (01:49:45):
And you notice one thing though, you know this one
thing told too right. I don't even know the last
time she even had a match on television, which goes
to show you that this is a Moxley favorite and
not something Tony Kaan necessarily wants to do himself personally.
I've noticed that with a couple of people, because me
and my nephew was talking a little bit yesterday and
we were talking about how Rocky Romiro is in don

(01:50:06):
Kallis Right, but Rocky Romiro has no matches whatsoever, because
and I told my nephew, I said, Rocky Remiro is.

Speaker 7 (01:50:13):
A career faction ho like he is, like he's always
in a faction.

Speaker 8 (01:50:20):
Now currently obviously don kallis Family, but before that he
was in Chaos with Show and Yo doing Ponky three
k that before that, ever, Punky vice to Trent that
before that, Forever Huligans were Alex Cosloff and then Remorse
Corps and all these other various factions over the years,
and Ring of Honor and PWG and Japan. So I

(01:50:43):
mean he's a career faction. Ho, that's his thing, but
he's never a guy that stood out on his own.
And Tony Kah does not let that guy wrestle at all.
And if he does, it's in a big group union,
then he loses.

Speaker 4 (01:50:57):
Definitely son going on now, Yeah, definitely definitely.

Speaker 2 (01:51:03):
But our ja, do you want to do a show tomorrow? Oh?

Speaker 7 (01:51:07):
Yeah, let's do a show tomorrow. And I got I
ain't got nothing.

Speaker 4 (01:51:10):
Else to do.

Speaker 2 (01:51:11):
All right, do you wanna you wanna go over this
list tomorrow? I just want to get.

Speaker 7 (01:51:17):
Yeah, I can definitely do that.

Speaker 4 (01:51:18):
All right.

Speaker 7 (01:51:19):
We can talk about that awesome fucking Wolverine trailer. By way,
I was sorry, Ruben.

Speaker 2 (01:51:26):
Did you see that the trailer for the Wolverine game?

Speaker 4 (01:51:30):
Some light bits, some pieces of I gotta watch it
to naight for going to bed. I heard a lot
of good things about it though.

Speaker 2 (01:51:37):
It's it is everything you want a Wolverine a game,
a Wolverine game to be in. More like it's we
finally got a date. It's coming out next year for fall.

Speaker 3 (01:51:51):
But it looks I mean, listen, you guys aren't aren't
uh too down bad? Because I've been waiting for Mentroy
Prime for for eight years because that game was originally
announced back in twenty seventeen. I remember because I was

(01:52:13):
out and then it got it got scrapped in twenty nineteen.
We didn't hear anything all all the way until the
past year or so. So you guys are getting the game.
You guys didn't get the game. I mean, I'm gonna
pull too. I'm gonna play the wolf Ring game, but

(01:52:34):
just let you know development how is real, so at
least you guys don't got to wait eight years for
wolf Ranking. No.

Speaker 2 (01:52:43):
Yeah, no, yeah, I know what you mean. It's just
it always like gets you. You get hyped and then
it's like coming out Fall twenty twenty six. I'm like,
fuck like I want it hell yeah. But yeah, it
looks fucking gorgeous.

Speaker 3 (01:53:00):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:53:00):
The voice actor is Argie. You might know this. He
played weather Wizard on The Flash.

Speaker 8 (01:53:10):
I Weather Wizard. I'm still getting up to my my memories.
Gotta get on jogged a little bit.

Speaker 2 (01:53:17):
Isn't it. It's funny. His last thing is McIntyre. I
think his name is Henry McIntyre.

Speaker 7 (01:53:23):
Henry McIntyre. Hold on, okay, I remember this guy.

Speaker 2 (01:53:27):
I'm this guy Liam there. Liam McIntyre.

Speaker 7 (01:53:32):
He was the one that wore the leather jacket or
whatever jacket.

Speaker 2 (01:53:36):
Who was also Australian like Hugh Jackman.

Speaker 7 (01:53:41):
Got him to the role.

Speaker 2 (01:53:43):
Probably, yeah, probably, but it looks a lot of fun.
And then we can also talk about Marvel Zombies. If
you did you watch it?

Speaker 7 (01:53:51):
No, not yet, Okay, I've been I've been sleep all day.

Speaker 2 (01:53:54):
Okay, Yeah, all four episodes came out, and I'm gonna
say this better, much much better than what If, A
thousand times better than what If.

Speaker 7 (01:54:06):
Well, shit, they took no liberties this time around, because
correct me if you're wrong. Isn't this TVMA yep?

Speaker 8 (01:54:12):
Okay, I mean you know that you can be a
little bit more flexible when you have we have no
no limits and uh you know, and it's appropriate. A
zombie show should should be taken to the extreme. Nobody
want to see a half ass, half bait zombie shows.
So yeah, yeah, I look, I'm a I'm up now.
So after we get done with the show, I'm gonna

(01:54:33):
go ahead and do some things and clean up a
little bit.

Speaker 7 (01:54:35):
I'm gonna put it on. I'm watch it and have
some thoughts about that tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:54:39):
Yeah, it's just like lately, like because this year they've
been putting everything out that they've had on the back burner,
and most of it's actually been pretty good. Like they
put out a Friendly Neighborhood Spider Man in Chunks and
that was one of the best things they've ever done,
and it seems like nobody really talks about it. So

(01:55:03):
same thing with zombies. Zombies is one of the best
things they've done. It's hasn't It's not better than X
Men ninety seven, it's not better than Friendly Neighborhood Spider Man,
but it's it's certainly much much much better than what
if better than ISAA will kN Well, I actually thought
Isaawall Conda was pretty good, but I would say this

(01:55:25):
is probably better. But we'll talk more about that tomorrow.
But we'll sign off right now. I know Ruben has
to get up early. Rubin again, thank you for coming
on on such short notice. I appreciate it. Man.

Speaker 3 (01:55:41):
Yeah, anytime, anytime, like I said earlier, just throw up
about second one.

Speaker 2 (01:55:47):
I'll be there, Yes, sir, I'll be there and then
and then r J of course, thank you for thank
you for coming on, even if it was just for
like you know, a few minutes, but appreciate you.

Speaker 4 (01:55:59):
Man.

Speaker 2 (01:56:00):
Did you just Cody Cody? Oh? Yeah, Cod Cody's number one.

Speaker 7 (01:56:05):
Cody's number one.

Speaker 4 (01:56:06):
I was about to say, I mean, I mean, what
what else?

Speaker 2 (01:56:08):
What else can you add for that Cody was number one?
It's like, yeah, of course Cody's number one.

Speaker 7 (01:56:13):
Yeah, of course she is locker room leader.

Speaker 9 (01:56:17):
Captain say, he definitely is Sah throws his moves and
people's business and kind of supposed to do a little bit.

Speaker 4 (01:56:30):
But you can kind of.

Speaker 7 (01:56:31):
Get like Cody your ass down some he find it
out man, your business?

Speaker 2 (01:56:38):
Well, I don't know, I said on Monday, like like
Jimmy told Jay's other white Cuban brother to go talk
to Jay because he wouldn't listen to And then and
then Cody Cody being the cool youth camp counselor talking
to jayn turn his chair all over the round like yo, homie,

(01:57:02):
g what is what is happening?

Speaker 3 (01:57:05):
What?

Speaker 2 (01:57:05):
Why are you? Why are you up in l A.
Knight's grill? Like that? For Shizzle?

Speaker 7 (01:57:11):
Wouldn't it like.

Speaker 2 (01:57:18):
Now if there now J man, if you if you
really want to get in touch with another J man,
His name is Jesus and he's all about that life
yos or whatever need to read this. A bunch of

(01:57:40):
homies were not too happy about what what Jay was doing,
if you feel me, and they nailed him to a
cross homie while his daddy, well his daddy would just
let that that bs happen. Now, I mean I went
a little bit too far. I think I went a
little bit too far. But anyways, but yeah, thanks thanks guys,

(01:58:02):
U r J. I'll see you tomorrow morning. And Ruben,
did you still want to do something this weekend?

Speaker 3 (01:58:15):
Definitely lean towards it, yes, but I'll let you know.
It's been super busy, but I definitely let you know.

Speaker 4 (01:58:25):
What time.

Speaker 2 (01:58:28):
I would say Sunday because Saturday I'm doing the post
show with Jeff for No Mercy, So if anything, yeah,
no Mercy Saturday. Yeah, there's no Mercy Saturday. It's a
twenty seventh, right, it was.

Speaker 7 (01:58:45):
It was a Sunday because I thought people use on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (01:58:49):
No, it's a twenty seventh. That's a Saturday.

Speaker 7 (01:58:52):
Okay, I'll make sure I'll check that out.

Speaker 2 (01:58:55):
All right, but yeah, uh, Ruben, if you can, if
you can do Sunday though without work.

Speaker 4 (01:59:00):
Out, well too, we can do Sunday. I just let
you know what time.

Speaker 2 (01:59:06):
Yeah, sure, all right, guys, everyone listening on YouTube and
on the discord a Wrestling soup Chat, thank you all
for listening, and uh we will we will all see
you this weekend. We'll see you tomorrow Saturday and hopefully
Sunday and then next week. Shout out to Justin if
you're listening. But take care guys, and peace out.

Speaker 4 (01:59:32):
Peace.

Speaker 1 (01:59:35):
Drew yah yah, Drew Yaho, yach yo.

Speaker 4 (02:00:03):
It's Julia's Judio. It's ju Yo. It's Julia, It's ju
