Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jack Eblin here with my good friend Matt Sloan of
Graph of Ochemists. Lots of traffic over here. Things are
going great, Matt. Why is everyone coming here?
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Well, Jack, I'm a little biased, but I like to
think it's the people. We truly have a great staff
here for a service body shops sales. A lot of
our employees were here before we bought the store, and
the family atmosphere and the fact that we truly care
and want to take care of our customers and make
it a great experience for them and build that relationship.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
Can't ask for more than that. STOPPU See Matt and
the gang here at graph of Okemists. They're making friends.
Toody afternoon mid Michigan and beyond, and welcome to the
Drive with Jack the Spotlight Radio Network. Jack Eblin here
with my producer today, Boston Rob on a cool, breezy
Monday afternoon, not the best weather, a little bit wendy
(00:45):
for driveway basketball Rob. But nonetheless, we have tons to
talk about and some great guests to do that with.
I want to start out with a go to guy
in just about any sports that I want to talk about,
especially involving the city of Detroit and drafts. That would
be Pat Capudo, longtime State of Michigan sports writer, still
(01:06):
doing that but also very well known for his work
on ninety seven Won the Ticket, so known as the book. Pat,
How are you?
Speaker 3 (01:15):
What's up? Jack? It's my time of the year. You know,
I got this NFL Draft, the big one, then you
got baseball football. So at bustin Balls podcast that I do,
that's right of it. I have no idea what we
called it, Dad, but it's a drafts prospects in the future.
But it's my time of the year. There's already a
couple up there. Check it out wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
We're going to get to the NFL drafts certainly, and
to the Detroit Tigers. But I want to start briefly
with the Pistons and what happened the other night at
twenty one Zip run after they led the Knicks by
eight ninety eight ninety What do we learn from that game?
Speaker 3 (01:57):
Pat, Well, I think you really met is what we learned.
I think what they learned, you know, is, uh, everything
was going good. They came out with great intensity, they
were playing fast, it was their tempo. And then when
they hit a Wall. It was like, okay, this is different.
You know, Madison Square gardens always you know, supercharged, especially
(02:18):
since the Nicks had been better than everything, but not
like that, you know, and uh, you're in a situation
where you got veteran players, so they just lost their
sea legs, however you want to describe it. Every fluid
movement that you know was happening while they were playing
earlier just got you know, uh, you know, kind of awkward.
(02:39):
And you know, they started turning the ball over shots
that they would make dunks. You know, just weird stuff
happened and they lost. You know, what do they learned
from it? We'll find out tonight. I mean it's gonna
be no cake log. That's a good team and playoff
basketball has got, you know, obviously a different level of intensity.
So uh, we'll see. You know, if they win tonight,
(03:01):
nobody will care about Saturday, right, No.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Right, hard to win on the road, especially as an
underdog when you commit twenty one turnovers. But for a
team that I think JB. Bickerstaff was right. He wasn't
just spouting platitudes that they were the better team for
three quarters and the fact that they hit it'd actually
(03:23):
beaten the next the previous three matchups, including two in
Madison Square Garden. You can say, well, so and so
is out, but yeah, that cuts both ways. Do you
think that any of that matters in terms of this
team's confidence.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
I don't know, you know, you know, it's like Jim
Leadland used to say about the Tigers, you know, and
people bring up momentum. Yeah, well, your momentum is only
as good as your starting pitcher.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
I think one of the concerns is Karl Anthony Towns,
the person that can guard him best. You know, watching
the Pistons and the Knicks the first times that they played,
town didn't play in every game. He played in a
few was actually Isaiah Stewart. He gets in his head
and then he got twelve fouls too between him and Duran.
(04:09):
If Stewart does not play or isn't it himself, I
think that's a huge factor. I don't think durn really
has an answer for the Anthony Towns. I mean, he's
such a you know, he can shoot that three can
you know, do different things and play bully ball a
little bit. You know, some people say he saw but
I don't see it, And yeah, that's a that's an issue,
(04:32):
I think, you know. And the other thing is, I'll
see Sarah Thompson has to get his sea legs and
start playing like he does defensively. I thought he got
really discombobulated. And Duran was terrible in that first game
and he's he's too good a player to be that way.
So those are the keys. And obviously Beasley, he's got
(04:52):
a kiddy heating hitting his threes. And I think then
they have a pretty good chance because they match up well.
I think, you know, brought to is going to get
his but they got some players that kind of bother
him a little bit, their secondary and kind of Adobe
is a great player obviously. Uh you know, they just
got a lot of talent on that team, and those
guys from Villanova have all played together bridges hard, you know,
(05:16):
so that's going to be a key. But you know,
they they're and they got to stop their auxiliary scoring.
They can't have some guy with some goofy left handed
looking three knocking him down all the time. So you know,
it's just all a combination of those things. But be
there at the end see what happens. And I think
that's because if they were to win tonight, all the
pressure goes in next you know, yeah, definitely, you know
(05:40):
they'll be going nuts. There will be on the back
page of the New York Post. You know it'll be.
It'll be ugly for them.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
We know what Karl Anthony Town's gonna do. We saw it.
We know that Gil Bridges and Jalen Brunson outplayed Kate
Cunningham in that first game. Yeah, I don't know that
that's going to happen again. I think motor Kate has
to at least hold his own with Brunson for the
Pistons be in it.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
But yeah, Jack, they're not going to win. He just
played he plays so power like he did the first game,
or if he plays even his normal self, he has
to be this is the time when the stars are made.
This is the time when he has to be that guy.
And whether he's ready for it yet or not, but
that definitely holds the key. They cannot have, you know,
(06:27):
Kay Cunningham not playing even above the high level that
he usually plays and win this series.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
Pat I was actually at a Michigan State baseball game
that went extra endings against Ohio State Saturday and listening
to some of it but when I got back and
I saw what Cad had done, I was amazed that
the Pistons were leading the game.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
Yeah, yeah, well he was, you know he at times,
and this is what he did earlier in the year
and some in the past. When it starts to get
a little tight, he starts getting like, hey, I got
to go do this. He gets somewhat confused. But the
thing about him is, this is somebody who's pretty bright.
(07:12):
This is somebody who's pretty He's got a good head
on his shoulders, and he kind of learns from different
things in moments and then he comes back stronger. Now
is he going to be able to do that after
two days? I don't know. I just know that I
would expect him to have a better game here right now.
I really would. And they were in the game because
(07:34):
Tobias Harris was hot. Yeah, And like I said, they
came out like they were playing having a run in
the gym. You know, they didn't show any nerves at
the beginning until it got tight, and then all of
a sudden, everything got the movement started getting awkward.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
All right, let's switch and talk a little bit about
the Tigers before we get to the draft. Detroit and
Cleveland off to the best starts in the AL Central.
Would you expect those teams to be battling all the way?
And what chance would you give the Tigers to win
the division?
Speaker 3 (08:08):
Well, I think the Tigers have a real good chance
to win the division. I think their starter has been outstanding. Yeah,
I wouldn't count out the Royals. The Royals have the
good pitching. Uh so, you know, I know the Royals
are off to a little bit of a sluggish starting.
The Tigers just breed them three out of four. But
that's that's a pretty good team. Actually, I think they're
better than the Guardians. Ultimately, the Guardians are going to
(08:29):
miss Naylor and they're gonna miss him. It has and
I don't know, you know, but they're like a bad
told fungus. You know, it doesn't matter what you put
on it. That's your big toe is gonna be yellower
in the heck and they never go away. So I
haven't been impressed with the Twins. I thought the Twins
would be better.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Yeah, favorite to win before the season.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
Well yeah, and uh you know already Loys Royce Lewis
is out for a long time and they can't really
afford any one of their big three to be out
like that, and the rest of their team is pretty mediocre.
I'll be estimated them, but I underestimated the Tigers. You
had them. I think, what was it eighty eight wins? Yeah,
I had him eighty three because I thought they had
missed Meadows and Burlin so bad. But they're pitching is outstanding.
(09:12):
The development with torkleson in Mice, you know, these two
to one ones who have been into their own is huge.
Jackson Joe, that's huge. I mean, obviously he's really good,
and you know when you have Scooba and Flaherty and
then their bullpen right now has got a bunch of injuries.
But they do have some organizational depth and pitching. This
(09:33):
kid Troy Melton at Double A, he's somebody that could
be in Triple A and help him. Also, you know
they have Montero and you know Chasen's down there, you know,
throwing and you've been a little bit better lately. So
they do have some organizational depth they can go to
if they're bullpen flags a little more. Not having Brisky
does in help, and they need Foley maybe to come
(09:55):
back here and some other things. You're not going to
see Matt Manning. I can promise you that I think
I think he's on the verge of getting released after
the way he's thrown. Wow. But yeah, that's uh, you know,
that's where they're at. I mean, they've been excellent and uh,
you know, really they got a pretty good team, they
really do, and their manager is good and they seem
to have you know it together. This thing with Carrie
(10:18):
Carpenter's hamstring could be concerning because he's he's a big
bat in that lineup, so if he's out for a while,
it could get a little gamey offensively.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
I wish you'd been with me, because I was having
this very discussion with Fred Human, who doesn't think much
of the Tigers, and said, there are at least six
teams in the American League better, and I said, we'll
start to name them. I know, there's only one team
in the majors that has four starting pitchers with eras
under three. And when you look at the offense and
and you know Riley Green had that big slump, they
(10:49):
survived that Tarclson, you know he's playing beyond anyone's expectations. Pat,
I remember a conversation We had about this a year
ago and you broke down his game and said that
you had watched a lot of his bats, even going
back to ASU, and he had trouble hitting quality major
(11:09):
league fastball.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
That's not the case, it is, Jack. He tell him
the habit where it's like one swing hits all. You know,
it's not golf man. The ball is not on a key,
all right. So like this year, there's a you know,
a lot more adjustment to the ball. He'll see the
ball and he'll try to shoot it the other way.
You know, he's not waiting for his perfect pitch and
(11:33):
then you know, taking good ones and then letting others go.
He adjusted just the way he did. He did He
worked on his flexibility, that's obvious. So he's more athletic.
You know, he's always been a good athletic, but he
kind of got stiff and mechanical in the field. So
he did the things that he needed to do to
get better. Showed great determination. And you can't say enough
(11:56):
about Spencer Tooricles and that's that's an athlete right there.
That's a pro athlete. That's somebody with characters. He's a
great guy. Now, I think everybody is happy to see that,
you know. And then did I predict he was going
to do that? No, he looked terrible. Yeah, yeah, but
he looks great this year. And by the way, I
don't know if you do this, but Fred, he went
to Rochester Adams High School with Madonna. Yeah, and I
(12:19):
think they were in the Christmas Carol together and Fred
played screwed. So don't listen to what Fred.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
I thought you were going to say that Madonna knew
more baseball than Fred.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
Yeah, well, you know it sounds like Fred's you know,
getting his you know, like, hey man, you know they're
not that good. Hey man, Fred, I haven't stepped on
your lawn, so don't tell me to get off.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Come on, all right, When you think about the Tigers
bat you mentioned Parker Meadows and Matt Berling when they
come back and only make the Tigers better, you would think.
But if you look at this as still a young team,
and I guess I got a little younger today with
Jay Young coming up, Ian Kreiler going down. What can
(13:01):
they expect from.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
Jason, Well, he's hit the ball well and he hasn't
made airrors they've been It's interesting what they did there.
They had ou leaves one of their more underrated prospects. Really,
he's got a chance to be good and young kind
of alternating between third base and second base, so he
gives them some versatility believe it or not, at second
(13:24):
base as well. If they want to do that. The
problem is what are you doing center? All right? You
know Crodler wasn't exactly Willie May's out there or you know,
but he's he was better than what they had. So
I think what you're going to see is Green playing
a lot of center field right now, okay, and that
(13:44):
allows them to you know, flip whoever they want into
the corners, and not having Carpenter, you know, causes some
issue with that. So what you might have is, you know,
McKinstry playing in the outfield. You know you'll see that
on because he's been hitting yeah and doing pretty well.
And you know, you know, seriously, if a J. Hintch
(14:05):
were a golfer, he'd be the best ham and egger
you could possibly find. You know, he comes up with
different ways. It's a credit to their analytics department too,
but they come up with different ways to take it.
Day by day, you know, it's like day by day
with this, and you know, don't worry about next week.
Worry about today, and then the next week will come,
(14:26):
and then you worry about that. They've be gotten pretty
good at that when it comes down to piecing together
their lineup. So young, he hit the ball, He's got power.
You know, he kind of reminds me you might see
a little bit of like what you saw with Dingler. Yeah,
where a guy you know, obviously he is hitting the
minor leagues is ready. He doesn't have the defensive skill
(14:48):
at his position that Dingler has, but you know, his
upside as a hitter is really good, Jack, really good.
Speaker 1 (14:56):
What do you make of ab Baya's playing some center field?
Pat We saw yesterday he had four four misplays at
third base on would have had five if Torque didn't
bail them out. But what do you think I'm as
an outfielder, Jack?
Speaker 3 (15:12):
What do you think I think of them as an outfielder?
You know, I mean, what did I think of Will
Chamberlain as a free throw shooter? Andre Drummon? Is Andre
Drummon cranking it up from threes? You know? Yeah, you know,
he's just not you know, they've gotten more out of
him than what they anticipated, but he's just not at
this point the player that he used to be. So
(15:35):
they're trying to get as much out of it as
they can and they actually need some of that from him.
But he can't play center field. I mean, if somebody
hits the routine fly ball, he'll catch it. But they're
especially at Comerica Park, you know, it's just gonna be
gaps out there. But the thing is their pitching is
so good it really hasn't mattered yet. You know, that's
(15:57):
the part that amazes me. That rotation. You know, Reee
Holsen had a real good start. Uh, that is an
outstanding rotation. You know, to be interested, this will be
an interesting series against Padres too. And by the way,
you know, speaking of drafts, you know they took Rainer
last year, the kid, uh you know, from a yeah,
(16:20):
and he's you know, he's he's just starting. He really
hasn't done anything yet. He's then hurt a little bit.
But cam Smith the player they passed on, and I
think I mentioned him on your show third basement in
Florida State not playing outfield for the Ascros, So they
could have had their third basement in that draft because
that kid's already in the Major League and he's pretty advanced,
(16:40):
and he's he does have an upside. So you know,
it's amazing how these things work out when you when
you look at it. So not that you know any
any decisions should be made on Rainer yet, but he's
off to a solmost start in his pro career.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
Last thing I wanted to add about the Tigers Pat. Uh,
we see what Dingler can do at the plate, the
potential he has, but yesterday he made a play and
throughout Bobby Witt Junior and you couldn't be any more
efficient on the plate than he was. And it's a
tough guy to throw out at second third angler.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
Dingler Jack was one of the Masslin schools. Was a
star wide receiver. You know, he played, you know, outfield,
so he's an exceptional athlete for a catcher. Yeah, and uh,
you know he really frames pitch as well. He's got
it together and he's a pretty good hitter. And you know,
(17:36):
I look, I'm not trying to pat myself on the
back because I predicted Michigan State would beat Indiana last
year and I thought it was pretty smart when it
was tenough. Yeah, you were looking good for a minute,
looking good there for a minute. But so I'm wrong
plenty of times. But you know I told people Dingler
is a possible breakout guy. Yeah, yeah, you know I've
(17:57):
said that. I'm sure I said it on your show
talking because it was one of my things in spring training.
And you know, I'm not surprised by it. You know,
I don't think people would be if they, you know,
watched it as closely as you know I do.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
You know, Tigers have had some other breakout players pat
but it's hard to find a cure for acne. I
want to talk for just a minute about where the
Lions are now picking twenty eight. Do you think they'll
stay at that spot or move up or down?
Speaker 3 (18:29):
They may move up. There's there's a couple of players.
One there's two players all right that you know. One's
Grey's able. Grey's Abel is absolutely what the Lions need
more than anything else. He tackle from North Dakota State.
He reminds me of Frank rag Now though you know,
you know get thirty seven in vertical jump strong and
(18:53):
when he when he pulls, and they do do a
lot of pulling. This guy's either going to be a
center or guard. Probably and maybe the play decker right tackle. Eventually,
he really motors on those traps. So, you know, I
love this guy for them. I don't know whether they'll
be there at twenty eight, but they may target and
move him up, may think it's worth giving up a
(19:15):
third or fourth round pick or something whatever it would
take to get him. He's he's target number one as
far as you know. Another one is Shmir Stewart from
Texas A and M. You know, he's a bigger EDGs
you know, like two seventy and they need it more
of a hand in the ground type of guy than
actually a stand up guy at that spot. And he
(19:36):
can kick inside in a three four play, one of
those end physicians, exceptional athlete. The thing is he only
had like a sack and a half and people like
this guy's really not that good. I don't think NFL
people feel that way. So those are two guys that
I would say that would be potential move up guys
that they can play right away for the Lions. They
(19:56):
need that jack they need to hit in this draft.
They can't have another draft like they had last year. Yeah,
you know, seven more than seven thousand snaps by the
Rams from their draft, you know, Philadelphia's draft, you know, yeah,
the Jean and Mitchell. Yeah, these guys are Washington's draft.
These teams pass the Lions on that. The Lion's passed
a lot of teams based on their draft in the past.
(20:20):
So you know, there can't be any Giovanni Miners, Broderick
Martin's guys that they're you know, drafting, you know, and
they don't have any cap space. They're going to struggle
like crazy to get their keep their own guys eventually.
So they need to make the draft where they acquire
players because that's where they have to get them. So
grad Holmes needs a grigain his magic after last year's draft.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
Pat, you mentioned Gray's abel and being a successor at
right tackle. Do you guess that when Taylor Decker hangs
it up that we're going to see maybe the best
offensive lineman in the NFL switch sides and go from.
Speaker 3 (20:58):
Right to left tack They'll go left tackle, we would
go left tackle. Is Abel probably rag Now's got Thurst.
How from hell? Don't forget about that, right, So it's
a it's able to meet, would you know may project.
You know, there's so much that goes into the center position,
you know, snapping the ball, the short snaps, all those things.
But he projects as the center. If he's able to
(21:18):
pick up the nuances of bat uh, he would be
the ideal replacement for either one of those guys. So
uh yeah, Sewell is going to be the left tackle
and I'll pick up a right tackle at some point. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
Uh, I assume you saw this. We actually aired part
of it last night on Press Pass, but we heard
Brad Holmes talk about, you know, just let it happen.
I don't know why anyone has to analyze it and
predict it. That's what the draft is all about.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
That was funny. That was fun We played it on
Fox two Sports Words to you last night. Yeah, you know,
and I laughed. I looked at it and said, man,
you know, you got to give him credits coming up with,
you know, creative ways to say the same thing, but
in different ways. It was great.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
Yeah. Anybody else that you think might be of what
the Lions are looking for, maybe in a round two
guy or an area where you think it has to
be addressed.
Speaker 3 (22:18):
Uh, you know when it you know they need obviously
offensive line help. You never have enough corners. I mean
last year they drafted all these you know, the corners
in the first couple of picks, and the end of
the year with Maurice Norris, who I'll be honest with you,
I never even heard of the guy and he's playing
and Vildor, you know, he had the Vildor signing fighting
(22:40):
and you know, so that's definitely But yeah, they do
have enough picks that they can take the best player available,
you know, and they should do that regardless. Would Abel
would be the best player available, Stewart would be the
best player available. I don't think they should reach for anything.
(23:01):
And there's you know, there's some depth in this draft
when it comes down to pretty much every position. There's
you know, players that the Lions can take and do.
They should be able to make some hay in this draft.
But I have to, you know, look and see, you know,
who's going where before I can you know, start going, hey,
(23:22):
take this guy or take that guy. You know, I
mean to be honest with you. Once to get past
you know, where they're drafted in the first round. So
but I like a couple of players, you know, the gosh,
the kid from Oregon is a defensive end. Birch transfer
from South Carolina. I like him a lot. You know,
(23:43):
if he falls, I think he's somebody that the kid
from Arkansas, what is it land In Jackson or whatever
his name is another edge type of guy. If they
were to take an offensive lineman again, a bigger edge
you know, who can help them and they can kick
him in side if they had to. So there's a
multitude of things that they can do in the second
(24:06):
round with actual need depending on who drops to him.
So there's a lot There are a lot of players
in this drafting at and I really like I wouldn't
suggest Lions take one of the you know, the stand
up type of outside linebackers like Pierce. A lot of people,
you know, everybody talks about. He's a rock who from
(24:27):
Boston College. We saw him play against Michigan State. He's
you know, he's a very productive college player. He's shorter,
but it really doesn't matter. He's the opposite Ad Hudson
number ibably always talked about his alligator arms and everything
walking around. This guy's got long arms, but he's short.
But he's not a point of attack guy Pierce is
(24:47):
in Those are pure pass rushers, kind of like in
the in the James Houston mode, except they're better football
players overall. Obviously, you know, Pierce looks like a safety
to me. We're number twenty one, So that's how I
kind of look at what they should do when it
comes down to that position. And there's a lot of players.
It's just, you know, not all edges are created equal
(25:11):
and their different styles. You've got, you know, the two
seventy guy, and you got the two forty five to
fifty five to fifty fifty five guy, and you know
what type are they looking for? What fits their scheme?
What changes are going to make to their scheme? You
know without Aaron Glenn all that fits into what they're
going to do in this draft?
Speaker 1 (25:32):
All right, Pat, Three real quick hits here about other
players will not be Lions most likely. What other teams
are going to do if you're picking. Do you like
cam Ward? Do you like shudor Sanders? Do you even
like Jackson Dart.
Speaker 3 (25:50):
Of those quarterbacks? Honestly, I don't like any of them
up the three. It's going to sound kind of controversial,
I suppose, based on some of the things I've been
reading lately, But I thought, too dear Sanders looked really
good to me, looked like he had toys. It looked
like he had presence. It looked like he had an
NFL carry with I'm not so sure about cam Ward
(26:10):
and Jackson. Dart's interesting, and you know, having played for Kifkin,
you know that's you know, a plus because he was
well coached, you know that. But I would go with Sanders.
I really thought that he looked like an NFL quarterback
to me.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
All right, everyone is talking about Ashton Jenny being a
top ten running back, if not to the Raiders at six,
to the Bears at ten, if you're looking for a
running back later Trevion Henderson of Ohio State. Now, some
people are saying he could sneak into round one. And
there's still people who believe in Scataboo. They think that
(26:46):
at some point he's going to be a very productive player.
Can you see they're one of those guys becoming a
feature back.
Speaker 3 (26:55):
Well, Scataboo's you know, he ran out like a four
sixty five or something. He's gonna be a good NFL player. Yeah.
I like Traveon Henderson, but there was a lack of consistency.
Jackie Special, Yeah, Katie Special, all right, you know it's
not long and hard about voting for him for the Hives.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
Yeah, I think he was.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
Yeah, yeah, I mean he's a special player if you
watch him, Yeah, you know, it's not like he just
played at boys and ate up on competition. He's you know,
he's got that little extra gear. He's built like a truck.
I love him as a player.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
I went back and watched what he did against Oregon
in that game. Yeah, and nearly nearly led his team
to victory. And you know they'd have lost by twenty
eight without him.
Speaker 3 (27:39):
So yeah, yeah, you know, yeah, you know, absolutely absolutely so,
no comparison between those guys.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
All right, last thing, I promise the Michigan players looks
like four can go in round one if Kenneth Grant
sneaks in. Which of them is going to have the
best NFL career? You like Mason Gray him, You know,
tight ends can be hard to find even if they
don't project well immediately, which Wolverene are we gonna be
(28:08):
talking about in six or seven years?
Speaker 3 (28:12):
You know? Obviously Graham's get to get most of the play.
But I love Grant, you know, you know, I mean
he's a you know, such an athlete. I thought it
was fairly productive and did the things that he needed
to do and it'll translate to the NFL. Graham obviously,
could I think people are under estimate Will Johnson. Yes,
(28:32):
you know, that's a very special player. I'm not sold
on Loveland, you know, I mean, there there seems you know,
you know what, nine yards of cats. It didn't seem
like he was that big a threat in the open field,
you know, knucklehead factor after you know what was it
the Michigan State game? Was it? You know? I mean
he sounded like an idiot, didn't.
Speaker 1 (28:51):
Break any tackles on the lowest broken tackle, you know, so.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
You know, as people are talking about in the same comparison,
was born from Fenn State. Not clear, You're like, no,
Kiper getting out. They're not respect these guys, you know
what they say. But I'm like, hey, man, you know,
watching Lovelin, I just didn't see it. I just didn't
see it.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
Pat, thanks so much, really appreciate it though. I'll talk
to you again soon.
Speaker 3 (29:14):
