(00:35):
Hello everyone, and welcome to anotherfantastic condition of Everyone's Favorite fan show,
episode four hundred and eighty seven.I'm your host, the tea Man,
Richard Teman, and the Man inthe Other Box. He is officially our
co host, but also he believesthat JaMarcus Russell wasn't necessarily a draft bus,

(00:56):
just that playbooks and film study isreally overrated. At the end of
fell level, he is Malcolm McCoy, father, malk How you doing.
I'm doing great, man, honest, JaMarcus Russell probably my top three quarterbacks.
Man, I'm doing great, butI'm always to be here. I
wanted something that was themed from theweekend. Right we had draft weekend,

(01:19):
and I was like, Okay, what's what's something I could call him out
on and see if I can catchhim on guard. And I was like,
well, I live in the landof Ryan Leaf because he went to
w s U, which I'm fromSpokane. Right, it's your either team
Cooog's or Team Huskies, and sohe's been labeled as one of the biggest
bus. But it's like, JaMarcusRussell's right there, and I was like,
I'll throw that one at him andsee because he didn't ever study the

(01:42):
playbook or literally anything. The funniestthing I've heard about JaMarcus Russell's they sent
them home with blank tapes and hewatched them all hilarious. But another thing,
here's something fun We need to figureout if I'm going to start a
list, an official list for theepisode. But if people thought, you

(02:07):
know, maybe maybe there's like there'sa sliver of hope that you held onto
that we were going to cover NationalArena League football, it has been made
official that we will not because Malcolmbreaking news. I found out today I
am blocked from the National Arena LeagueFacebook. I don't even know what I

(02:30):
did. I don't know, Idon't know. People just have a knack
but not liking it's a talent atthis point, dude, it is insane
to me because I don't know whatI could have done. I've seen comments
on there from people ripping them apartfor this or that, and I don't

(02:51):
even know. I don't think I'vecommented on anything. I laugh reacted to
a couple of things like so manyother people did. But it's just so
funny to me because this will godown is yet another thing that I got
in trouble for without even trying. So I wanted to tell you that to
start the show. I think theywere trying to beat you to the punch

(03:13):
like they saw that. You know, we talk about every other thing on
here. They wanted to block youbefore we even get to that point.
So I mean, I can't sayI blame them, but it was hilarious.
Man, at this point, theycould use all the coverage they can
get. But I'm you know,I am good luck everybody. I'm out

(03:35):
that no wig today. Some ofyou probably tuned in thinking that I was
gonna wear a wig. It hasnot arrived yet. And so Malcolm,
because he was victorious yet again,Oh my god. Some of those games,
man, they should like I shouldget a mulligan for some of the
games, which we'll talk about. But he is elected to postpone the wig
punishment next week as his punishment forthis most recent pick him, and then

(04:00):
tonight at the end of the episode, I will take a pie to the
face. Very classic. I applaudhim for thinking on his feet quickly.
It's a classic punishment. So we'llhave that at the end of the episode.
But man, it was a weekendfor me, you know, I
had a good, a bad,and a funny. Malcolm, how about
you? What what was your weekend? Like? What's your good, bad

(04:20):
and funny? If you've got him? So I got a good and a
funny. Not too much bad goingon, I guess, which is a
good thing. But that's true.Pretty yeah, pretty pretty epic weekend to
say the least, especially with youknow, the draft having happened this week.
Let me just go ahead and hey, O here have you ordered it

(04:42):
a McCaffrey jersey? Not just yet, man, you know it's on the
way, those good McCaffrey jeans overhere in Washington. So I'm I'm happy
about that. But that's that's prettymuch what my good is about. Man.
Washington has you know how they dolike the draft, greating skills like
for different teams and stuff. Theysaid Washington was one of the highest.

(05:04):
I think we're top five draft gradesin the entire NFL according to ES well
according to ESPN and Yahoo Sports.Just watching like the moves we made in
the off season and during the draftand stuff, it's hard not to be
excited, man. I mean,I'm excited every year and sadly let down,

(05:25):
but you know, this one feelsa little different, man. I
mean, we got some we gotthe right mix of veterans in New Town
and keepers, and I think we'regonna make a difference this time for sure.
So at least come out of theNFC East on top. Man,
we'll drap. It'll take Malk saysto himself, every draft for a thousand
Alex every time, every time, literally, And I'm just sitting there.

(05:50):
You've see that meme where like Arthurjust had his fist clinch. That's me
by like week five, I'm sickof it, Bro, I'm sick of
it. It's the hardest thing inthe world right now is to be a
Washington fan. But we'll team man, We'll see how it goes. For
the funny, you know, asas a lot of people know the NBA

(06:12):
Finals are are underway, you know, a lot of NBA fans tuned in.
It's an excited time, exciting timefor basketball, for sure. I
was just scrolling on social media andI happen to see a stat that said
Lebron James has played thirty five percentof players in the in NBA history.

(06:34):
I'm like, that's crazy to thinkabout all of the players that have come
and gone through the NBA, He'splayed thirty five percent of all of them.
And then that got me thinking alittle more, like who keeps track
of these stats? You know what? I'm like, you know that the
oddest stats, like you know TomBrady is forty five and no when he

(06:55):
pulls into the back of the stadiumand weird stuff like that. You know,
I'm just like when and where dothey start this stat line? And
like who makes them? It's justhilarious to me, Bro, I love
watching games and like just scrolling onsocial media and seeing these strains that lines,
because it just makes me think, like I wonder who gets paid to
post and like keep track of thesestats. It's just it is baffling to

(07:16):
me, Bro, it really iscrazy. We've We've talked about that before
in some of my sports groups, just like who is keeping like who keeps
these stats? Like how do youkeep track of these stats? I mean
there's always something there's you know, there was one I think with Rogers that
somebody went as far as to putone that Rogers was like undefeated at Lambeau

(07:40):
when it's like below thirty and it'sa full moon, and I'm like,
what it's like, okay, allright, so for me, I do
have all three. The good topiggyback off of your draft thing was the
draft mainly the city of Detroit.I mean, they showed out a new
draft attendance rack over the course ofthree days. Previous record holder was Nashville,

(08:03):
Tennessee, home of the Titans. And this just reiterates a hill that
I am willing to die on thatthe super Bowl should not be in the
same five cities every time. Youknow, it's La Miami, Tampa Bay,
New Orleans, and then Arizona, right, and now you can probably
add Vegas to that. But Iunderstand the weather. But at the same

(08:26):
time, like it's rained at thesuper Bowl and that's considered one of the
like the best super Bowls all aroundin history, Princess halftime performance, Peyton's
first ring. And so I knowthat the Draft will be there next year.
But by god, man, justgive every city a chance, because
green Bay, title town deserves tohost a super Bowl. Like could you

(08:46):
imagine what that city would do?That would be epic, man, that
would be epic. All the historyin Green Bay. I just I don't
know, I think that would belike you know it would be record numbers
showing up something like So that wasmy good So perhaps to Detroit, good
for you guys. That was awesometo see. And then I'm actually gonna

(09:07):
go funny first before bad. Somy funny was the AFL. Because all
weekend long, it was either goodor bad. And so there was some
good pr. There were some goodmatchups. There was some good games.
Orlando the Predators in the Albany Firebirds, that was a great game. But
on the flip side, there wassome very bad pr. There was some

(09:28):
very bad situations, specifically with likethe Philadelphia Soul, Louisiana Voodoo, the
Oregon team Uprights, turf players gettinglocked out of hotels. So it's just
it's funny to me because we mentionedthis last week. The more things change,
the more they stayed the same. It's just like the same you're getting
on the same bike, you're justchanging out the wheels. I don't understand

(09:52):
what they think is going to bedifferent each time. And now it's made
national news, Pro Football Talk andPat McAfee have talked out the issues,
not the good ones. They haven'ttalked about the good stuff with the AFL.
It's been all the bad stuff. So that was my funny because you
just kind of sit back and laugh. This is why we agreed that we
were going to wait and see oncoverage. Let the rest of the hyenas

(10:15):
have at it. Man, mygod, that was. Oh, it's
a feeding frenzy. The bad though, we'll go and bring it home to
the IFL. The bad was whatwas otherwise a fantastic game between a great
rivalry, and that is the BayArea Panthers and the San Diego Strike Force.
One point game, and San Diegohad erased a twenty six point deficit.

(10:37):
They were down I think twenty sixto six at halftime, and then
it was even worse start the thirdquarter. So they come back, they
get it to within one, andwith like forty five seconds left, there's
a fight that broke out in thestands, and you know, tensions get
high. There's a lot of familiesat these events, and apparently there were
five players that took it upon themselvesto go into the stands, which you're

(11:00):
not supposed to do and try todiffuse the situation, which I get,
but I really wanted to get Malcolm'sthoughts on this because he's been a player
and I know for me, Ican speak as if, well, if
I was in that situation, thiswould be me. But you know,
there's gonna be fines, there's gonnabe suspensions and whatnot. But for me,
it comes down to, okay, zero tolerance. The NFL had for

(11:22):
the longest time zero tolerance on marijuana, and I thought that was the stupidest
thing ever. Right, it's justlike everybody does it. Just ignore it,
like it's it's not an enhancer byany means. But I don't make
the rules. The rules are therules. Like if I drive around with
expired tabs on my car, Ineed to be prepared to get a ticket

(11:43):
for that. You know it's astupid rule, sure, but it's a
rule or a law nonetheless. Sowhen you have what I believe is a
zero tolerance. In the commissioner's statement, which we'll go ahead and put up
here, the commissioner said that, you know, it was unfortunate players,
we had the best interest trying todiffuse it. But at the same time,

(12:03):
you know, there's zero circumstance whereplayers should go into the stands.
So I take that as to meanit's a zero tolerance for that behavior.
So in that case, you shouldknow as a player, if I do
this, I'm going to have toface consequences, And there's people asking for
leniency and I get it. Butat the same time, if I was

(12:26):
a player and it was my familythat was involved, okay, I'm going
in the stands, plain and simple, but I'm also going to go in
with the wherewithal knowing that there's goingto be a penalty. I'm going to
be punished to some degree. Sopeople they're vine both sides like they're defending
players, they're condon not condoning theactions whatever. But at the end of

(12:48):
the day, it comes down towhat is in the rule book and what
is their tolerance. If it's azero tolerance, then that's on you if
you go into the stands to tryto sort this thing out, and you
can just hope that it's it's notas bad as you think. But Malcolm,
like that, I know that yousaw it. You've seen all the
videos. Like what's your takeaway fromthat? Man? Like you said,

(13:09):
Rich's it's unfortunate for sure, likelike Todd try and says, should I
say? And it's just one ofthose things man, that you know beforehand
that you shouldn't be doing it,but in the heat of moment, you're
that's the last thing on your mind, especially if it's your family members involved
or someone you know, one ofyour loved ones. It's hard to disassociate

(13:31):
your personal life from the professional youknow, and it's unfortunate because I mean,
I know those guys. I wouldhope those guys had, you know,
pure, pure intentions in mind. But like you said, rules or
rules man and uh. Although althoughthey may have had every intention to de

(13:52):
escalate or try to bring everything quillthe situation in whatever way, they will
be reprimanded. And I mean,I I wish I could speak on their
behalf too, because I've been therebefore. You know, I haven't not
necessarily that situation in particular, butI've been in situations where there's fights breaking
out on the field or between uh, you know, players on the sideline

(14:13):
or even coaches, funny enough, and as a player, you just want
to play football, man, andand things like that just kind of make
it hard to do so, soyou're trying to de escalate or bring it
back down and you're looking as thebad guys. So, you know,
I feel for those guys for sure. I feel like in this, in
this situation in particular, Todd Tryonis just trying to uh, you know,

(14:39):
make his his brand as marketable aspossible. You know, It's it
doesn't look good, especially with thei FL getting as much publicity as it
has been. You know, itdoesn't look good for for anyone to be
jumping in the stands and things likethat, because you know how they do
on YouTube and Instagram thing, They'regoing to take that and try to twist

(15:01):
it and make it as as crazyand the wowed a story as they possibly
can. So he's just trying tosave face and save the league's face.
So I totally understand his perspective. But yeah, like I said, it's
just it's unfortunate for those guys.Yeah, And we've reached the point where
people's frustrations with leagues like the NFLis when there's any kind of inconsistency.

(15:24):
A guy does this, violates thispolicy and he's suspended indefinitely, and then
another guy does something similar and he'sonly suspended for like a few games,
or there's there's a fine, andit's like, Okay, all we want
is consistency, Like if this guydoes this and he's dealt this punishment and
then another guy does this. Itneeds to be the same thing. You

(15:45):
can't just like it. They lookat it case by case to make sure
that they have all the evidence, but when it comes down to, you
know, dealing out the punishment,it's got to be the same across the
board. So I don't envy Tryon'sposition right now now with this whole thing
at all, But I do wantto let everybody know that, yes,
you can lobby for the players tohave like a less severe punishment because nobody,

(16:11):
as far as the players, gotinto an actual fight. But at
the same time, you can't beshocked if they get fined and suspended as
if they did, because it wasthe act of going into the stands,
which therefore comes under that zero tolerancepolicy that the league may have. It's
just one of those things that youhave to know better. But me and
Malcolm, we both agree if itwas us, our family, we're going

(16:32):
into the stands, We're going totry to diffuse, and we're gonna,
you know, fully accept whatever thatpunishment is is it comes down the line,
yeah, it'll be interesting what happensgoing forward. I'm glued to the
social media page this whole week tosee was what I always think back to
any spoof with a sitcom or likeSouth Park where the dads get into the

(16:55):
fights and the stands at like thebaseball games and whatnot. It's just like
you think of that as like theworst. But then this there was people's
wigs coming off and people being escortedout, and it was just like,
what is happening? So not totake away from what was an otherwise awesome
game, I mean, you know, people talk about close scores and comebacks

(17:18):
very differently. Sometimes it's like, well, Bay Area, how did they
give up that many points? Butstill like you've got to come out of
the locker room at halftime ready torally, you know, playing and simple.
If you're going to try to erasethe twenty six point deficit, you've
got to be locked in and youcan't hope that their defense is going to
be like, oh we got thisand play a little lose like you got
to be ready to start going downthe field. So that is our good,

(17:41):
bad, and funny from the weekend. So we are now going to
get into recapping week number seven ofIFL action, and there was a lot
of it. Today's fit actually isbrought to you by the Iowa Barnstormers.
I figured maybe they need a littleluck their way because has it been a
very good start to the season forthem. And that's actually where we begin.

(18:04):
Our Week seven recap was Friday night, so over the weekend there was
eight matchups. All sixteen teams werein action. We started off with Iowa
and green Bay. Final score thereforty to thirty three. Green Bay gets
another wins, so right now they'reon a nice little winning streak themselves and
Iowa just can't seem to catch abreak. But they did look a little

(18:26):
better. Max Miler man, he'sstill that dude. Kyle King eighteen to
thirty nine, one hundred and thirtyone, two touchdowns and interception in two
sacks, so about what you wouldexpect. And then Miler seven to fifteen
eighty six yards, three picks orthree touchdowns and then two interceptions. So
a very close game, I think, closer than a lot of people expected.

(18:47):
But I do think the bright sideis that Kyle King is starting to
become a little more consistent of aquarterback. I think there's hope for Iowa.
Yeah, they could very well bea week away from their first win
of the season. I'll have tocheck with the week eight Slate has in
store Harry Ballard, though, propsto Green Bay and Harry Ballard another number
one play on SportsCenter's Top ten,So that's some good pr for the IFL

(19:11):
was a great play. There's acouple of that I caught over the weekend
that I submitted as candidates for topten plays, but no good for them.
That was an incredible catch. Andthen also on Friday, we had
the San Antonio gun Slingers and theyhad gotten their first winning the season the
week prior, and they were goingup against the undefeated Risco Fighters, who

(19:33):
have been playing a majority of theirseason at home. That final score fifty
four to fifty two in favor ofthe gun Slingers, so they get back
to back wins and Frisco gets itsfirst loss of the season. Wow.
In this one, Sam Castronova twentyfive to thirty three to two hundred and
twenty two yards and eight touchdowns, eight no picks, and he threw to

(19:57):
four different receivers for those touchdowns. So, man, Malk your guy,
he's starting to get it done.Dude, I like it TJ. Edwards
two hundred overall total yards well throughthe air, on the ground, so
kind of a you know, pedestrianday for him. And then he had
two passing touchdowns, four rushing tounchstouchdowns and an I int. So that

(20:19):
was that game. Frisco. Ithink you just chalk it up to they
just let one get away, reallybecause I looked at the breakdown for both
of them and it really could havegone either way. But Castronova, Man,
if they would have lost that,it would have been like, what
more does that guy do? It'sjust crazy. Eight touchdowns, no picks,
four different receivers. That's that's insane. Saturday, we had several mass

(20:44):
Choosetts Pirates against the Soup Fall Stormand the Gridiron Classic and Fargo, North
Dakota. Final score forty three thirtyeight Mass. So the Pirates back in
the wind, call him they're fiveand one, Sue Fall Storm zero to
five, no benefield, no problemfor the Pirates. He was not in
that game, and so Mass's defensestepped up big time. Billy Hall nine

(21:07):
to sixteen for eighty five. Hehad three touchdowns, no picks, but
two sacks, and then three touchdownson the ground as well. Connor de
jen Hart I think was the quarterbackfor Mass if I'm pronouncing that correctly.
Fifteen to twenty one, sixty three, four touchdowns, two picks and no
sex. So again another matchup whereit could have been very different had Benefield

(21:30):
started the whole game, but Massstill gets the win. Then we had
Duke City. Oh man, wedon't even need to spend a whole lot
of time on this. Duke Cityin Vegas. Duke City twenty seven,
Vegas forty two your final score.Vegas remains one of two undefeated teams.
Duke City they are winless still onthe season, and it doesn't look like

(21:53):
it's getting any better. I thinkthis was their third or fourth game that
they've been held to under thirty points. So this one I did not watch.
I'll just admit DC and Vegas.I just there was no reason for
me too. I mean I checkedin on the score. Yeah, but
it's like, come on, youknow, I don't know. DC needs
to just get better and Vegas isgetting better with every week. We talked

(22:15):
about it last week. But JeromeJohnson, though he had only one TD
two picks, I don't know ifhe got hurt or if he got benched,
but they had another quarterback come in. Didn't seem to make much of
a difference for them, but AlfonsoHoward was the starting quarterback, recently signed
for the Gladiators. He came ineleven to twenty five, one hundred and
thirty eight yards, two TD's,two picks, two sacks, So pedestrian

(22:38):
outing for a quarterback coming out.But that was your DC Vegas game.
And then we had Northern Arizona againstTucson thirty four to thirty one. Your
final two soon, man, theseare two teams trending in very different directions.
NAS is four and one. Theyhave only lost their first game of

(22:59):
the season against the Arizona Rattlers, another team that has been trending in a
weird direction, so they're on afour game winning streak, where Tucson has
lost three of their last four games. And then Jones, he was sixteen
to twenty five, one hundred andninety yards, three touchdowns, no picks.
Tas Wilson though, was a nicesubstitute for Mitchell, who is still

(23:19):
out I believe with an ankle, and he went fifteen to thirty one,
one hundred and sixty five, twopicks, two interceptions, no sacks,
So the Wranglers seem like they arethe real deal. Now, I do
think that week one wins and lossesand judging any long term based on that

(23:40):
is very much an overreaction, butI'm guilty of it. I did not
give NAS a whole lot of creditafter that first week, but now finally
starting to pick them. So Igot this one right, Malcolm got this
one wrong, so serves him righton that one. But then that was
your Saturday slate. Then Sunday wehad three more games. We had great

(24:00):
matchups really down the line, asit turned out. I'm not saying we
knew that going in, but wehad Tulsa the Oilers on the road against
Quad City and the steam Wheelers.Final score seventy two point fifty nine.
This game had nine different lead changesand Tulsa comes out with the win.
I really believe it came down tothat interception, which was top ten playworthy.

(24:22):
That was like Edelman in that SuperBowl with Atlanta esque like that was
a great, ridiculous pick. Andthen the big guy Smalls on the D
line he got a scoop and scoretouchdown. So Tulsa just kind of did
it in every facet of the game. But that final score does not reflect
how close this game was up untilthey got that turnover in the fourth and

(24:42):
then kind of held them off forthe rest of the game. So Tulsa
above five hundred three and two,Quad City drops just below five hundred to
two and three. Smith had wasfourteen to eighteen for two hundred yards,
and then Judd he had an allright game sixteen to twenty eight and seventy
six, two TV's and a pick. Good for the Oilers. I would

(25:03):
have liked to have seen that kindof performance from them a week ago when
I think them to beat Frisco. But hey, you know, I think
just as long as they keep pushingforward, Like Pat said, you know,
it's about doing your eighth It's abouttaking each each week at a time
and doing your part for sixty minutes. So Jacks then played Arizona. This

(25:23):
goes way back, these two teams, all the way back to the original
AFL Days. Final score thirty fivefifty five, again not inaccurate reflection of
how close this game was through likethree and three quarter quarters. That's a
tongue glister, right, there,Jacks does drop to zero to five.
Arizona now has back to back wins. There right at five hundred at three

(25:45):
and three, Snead is back,so it looked like it was the difference
maker there. It's still crazy tome somehow this team was a quarterback away
from getting in the win column.Like so twenty six one seventy six,
two picks and an interception, andthen two rushing touchdown for Jacks. Jabbari

(26:07):
Gorman had thirteen tackles. That's ridiculouson the defensive side, so defense was
doing good work. And then finallyyour nightcap. We've already talked a little
bit about this, but Bay Areaundefeated just beat San Diego last week for
their first loss. It takes onSan Diego again thirty three thirty two your

(26:30):
final. Bay Area improves to fiveand zero and San Diego three and two.
Neil was back under center or asthe starter. Twelve of seventeen ninety
nine yards, two touchdowns, nopicks, Davis seventeen of thirty three for
one ninety one, four touchdowns, two picks and a sack. Craig is
released, but not really like he'ssidelined, because he's got a broken foot.

(26:55):
I thought they cut him. Iwas like, dude, you had
one bad game and you guys stillwon. So he's out with a broken
foot. Speedy recovery the leg,and then of course the the interesting ending
to that in the stands and everything. But that was your week seven,
malk What what stood out to you? Man? A lot of things,

(27:15):
but as always, we gotta keepit pretty sure. I would say,
starting off, man, Uh,that that Frisco and San Antonio game.
Man, Like you said, likewe mentioned before, it was just a
battle of two two great teams.Man and uh and like I said the
same, Uh, that's long ago. It's just that's all. That's literally

(27:37):
what indoor football is about, too, is designed so that offenses could thrive.
And that's exactly what they did.You know, great, great offensive
performances on both sides. The defenseswere stout too, Don't get me wrong.
It's just that, you know, the offenses were clicking a lot more.
I do have to shout out ondefense. I want to say,

(28:00):
it's Charles Williams and uh roy c. You know those guys are playing at
a high level. Man. It'sthey're the heart of the defense really and
it's not too much of a defenseat all. Without those guys, it
was it was really cool to watchhim their thing of course, NAS and
Tucson. Uh, Like I've saidit once before and I'll say it again,

(28:22):
Man, Tucson is just a differentteam without my league Mitchell. And
that's actually why I picked him towin last week because I thought he would
be back. But you know,in no disrespected Tames Wilson. I think
I see what Billy back was goingforward in signing task because he's known to
be a pretty mobile quarterback. Yeah, not too bad passing either, but

(28:47):
and it's it kind of fits thearchetype of of the quarterback and that's already
you know, holding that starting spotin there in their offense. The thing
is is he just got going abit late. You know, it started
off really slow, but towards theend of the game he started to catch
fire a little bit. Uh,you know, had a couple of touchdowns

(29:07):
and ran for a nice chunk ofyardage. But like I said, it
just kind of ran out of time. Man. He did his thing,
but wasn't quite a my elite Mitchellperformance, you know, Uh, because
of that nast just being the betterteam in that fast it just took it
from there, and uh, youknow what I mean, Like I said,

(29:30):
there's a lot of things I cantalk about, but I mean,
it's just it's just those two things. Well and of course not not the
take anything away from Bay Area. But I've said this before too, but
in San Diego, man, youuh, you gotta, you gotta give
your props to Arthur Jackson. Ushe's playing. He's playing great. Man.

(29:51):
I think this past game just hecrossed that double digit threshold and touchdowns
and uh, Nate's favorite target bya long shot. I forget how much
yardist he has and like specifically, but if you take a look at that
stat sheet he's leading bad WI atMarch you can see why. On film.

(30:11):
Man, he's a time to get. He makes it easy to throw
to him. Their chemistry, it'salmost like they have h they have telepathy,
man, Like he's running routes andimprovising and finding windows without even having
to be you know, pointing inthe right direction or anything like that.
Man, He's he's doing really good. Man. I mean, despite their
their lass this week, I thinkthey're they're you know, they's still playoff

(30:34):
caliber and you know, the restof the season is definitely gonna show it.
Yeah, the transaction page is finallyback on the ifl's website, uh,
and so you can see all thedifferent things that have been going on,
and I've kind of missed that. But what I really miss is on
broadcasts, I want the guy thatthey send down to the sideline that's just

(30:55):
like, yeah, and this personis active today and this person is not.
You know, it's like half thetime the commentary team doesn't even know
why a guy is or isn't playing, and so I really miss being in
the know. But at the sametime, when you and I do our
picks, I love that we doit almost a full week before the action
starts, so that then they're lockedin and whatever happens beyond that point happens.

(31:17):
So you pick it because you thoughtMitchell was going to be back under
center and then he wasn't. Iwas like, oh, I think I
got one. But there are aspectsof the I guess the NFL style that
I wish we had with the IFL, and that is explanations. And I
know some coaches try to be sneakywith like, oh, we're not telling

(31:38):
anybody who's starting for this or this. It's like, come on, just
you know, you still got toput points up, you still got to
stop them, like do trick plays. Don't try to be sneaky about who's
starting or whatnot. I know itmakes preparation a headache, but you know,
I just I think it's silly.I don't use that word off,

(31:59):
but it's yeah, I got Igot a hilarious story about that too.
Man, that's so much hilarious. It's it's hilarious hindsight. But at the
time it was, it just itjust threw us for a loop. Man.
I was in Duke City, uhin twenty twenty two, I believe,
and you know, we're we're lookingto play Arizona the Ratlers. I

(32:20):
think it was the first round inthe playoffs. So we were preparing for
the game, and the entire weekof preparation they're telling us that Drew Bow
was out for some reason. Ithink it was some some team violation or
something like that. Whatever the casewas. It made headlines and on the

(32:42):
IFL page and all of that, and uh the low and behold. You
know, we come out there,uh team warming up. We see him
doing his warm up last I couldn'ttell you how our fans. I coach
just broke out into a cold sweat. I was like, man, this
is this is not good because Imean it was just crazy. Man.
Realistically, you want to be preparedfor all possibilities, but that was something

(33:06):
we certainly weren't prepared for and wepaid for a big time, so you
know, yeah, it just kindof goes so that. The steps of
side is something that a lot ofcoaches like to bring to the table,
and I mean it works sometimes sometimesit doesn't. Well, I mean,
at the end of the day,you got play ball. There was a
high school eight man team that didn'twant me to film their practice, like

(33:30):
with the real plays. They threwin like some junk plays that they don't
use for me to record. AndI'm like, really, like, I
know that you're a new coach andyou guys are trying to change the program,
but is anybody at this level likedoing that much homework? So it
was just kind of funny to mebecause he was so serious about it.

(33:51):
He's just like, no, man, like you didn't get any of that,
did you? No? I didn't. And and for me, a
lot of my stuff is a lotof close ups. It's a lot of
I don't even follow like you woulda highlight when you do previews and stories
like that. So I wasn't tooworried about it, but he was very
much like check in, like tosee if I was recording or what I
was like, Okay, dude, like just chill out. So but back

(34:15):
to what we were talking about initially, my big takeaways from this last week
is that we are starting to seeteams if they are really prepared for a
game or for a team or notsome slip ups. I don't think Frisco.
I'm not going to say they overlookedSan Antonio, but they did not
look like they were prepared for thatoffense. And then for TJ. Edwards

(34:36):
to be held in check like hewas, that was a very pedestrian game
for him. So you're going tostart to see a lot of these teams
that have been maybe towards the bottomof the pack kind of making a push.
Now. My couple of my teamsto watch are Vegas. They're undefeated
and they're going to have their biggesttests of the season this weekend. We
will talk about that. I thinkBay Area obviously still the standard San Diego

(34:59):
people are I'm not giving them enoughcredit. I did my power rankings today.
I have them at three and peoplewere like, what, like,
they've got two losses, not one. I said, yes, but it's
the same team twice and it wasa total of four points. That's the
difference between those two games. Iwas like, you cannot tell me that
this team is not going to bein the postseason picture in a big way

(35:20):
when you look at the rest oftheir conference. And people were like,
I haven't missing the playoffs or whatnot, and I'm like, you're crazy,
Like San Diego is a team thatnobody's overlooking. We'll see what happens with
mass obviously, but yeah, there'sa lot of teams right towards the middle
of the pack that you just neverknow what's going to happen one week to
the next. And prime example wasQuad City and Tulsa. So that will

(35:42):
bring us two week eight. Allright, ladies and gentlemen, joining us
now a very special guest. Heis lighting it up for the San Antonio
gun Slingers, brand new to theIFL, but back to back wins.
He is Sam Castronova. Sam,how you doing man right? How you
guys doing tonight. We're doing great. Man. We love having a first

(36:04):
time guests of the show. Wejust had mccorker last week. Talking to
you guys, getting your thoughts oneverything is great. But I don't want
to take away from what was myco host's first official get as a guest.
That's right, he's finally got responsibilitiesand he's using them. So Malcolm,
this is your guest. You getthe first question for mister Castronova.

(36:25):
Oh for sure, Man, forsure, Man, I appreciate it.
Y Sam. What's going on?Brother? You man? Doing good,
brother, Good to see you again. You too, for sure, Man,
always a great thing to see youknow. Former teammates still doing everything
and at a high level with thattoo. Brother. So first of all,
congratulations on the dub Man played alightsole game for sure, Thank you,

(36:47):
brother. Yeah, Man, haveno problem at all. Man.
So my first question to you isI've had the privilege of playing against you
and on the same team as you. One thing I know is that your
competitor for sure, Man, Iknow if you could, you would hop
out there and play some defense tojust being the type of guy you are

(37:10):
they let me. I would youknow that yeah, for sure. Man.
So uh, in a game likethe one you just played, man,
like where it's just pretty much itcomes down to who what defense can
pretty much make a stop? Uh, what do you tell you, guys?
Is the captain of that team? What do you tell what do you
tell the defense? If anything atall? Like before they go out there,

(37:34):
FRISTC had a really good offense.I think they're averaging like forty eight
games. So I just tell themwith our defense was making it difficult.
Frisk goes to score, but ourdefense was making it difficult. I'm getting
a lot of fourth down, said, boys, we just need one stop.
We're gonna keep scoring. We justneed one stop. And I said,
I got faith in y'all. Boys. And then the end of the
game, they got two stops inthe fourth quarter and and that was the
difference for sure. Man, forsure. Man, I definitely did it.

(37:57):
Man, it was a It wasa hell of a game, to
say the least. Man. Imean, that's that's that kind of If
anyone to ask me, I guess, like, what what is indoor football
about, I wouldn't even say anything. I would just put on that game,
man, because you just expect, like you know, have scoring games,
explosive offenses, and it normally comesdown and like I said, it
just maybe one or two stops.Man, So I mean that boy go

(38:21):
thing, and I mean it was. It was the fun. Want to
watch for sure, appreciate it.Yeah, we got them again this week
at home, so gotta do itagain for sure. For sure. Man,
that's gonna be even funer or watch. So I'm looking forward to it.
Yes, sir, Rich what aboutyou, Man, I'm gonna turn
over to you brother. I've gota few for them. But first,
well we'll start out with the obvious, which is, you know, you

(38:42):
guys were one of two teams cominginto the league, and of course every
league sees expansion, but this isin the form of absorbing teams from another
league coming into to this one, where the rules can be a little different.
But you know, it's you andJacksonville were watching these teams and we're
thinking, Okay, you know, any minute now, they're they're going to
finally put it together and it's goingto click. And unfortunately for Jacksonville,

(39:04):
it looks like that could still bea few weeks away. But you guys
not only got your win before theydid you've rattled off back to back,
So in your opinion as quarterback ascaptain, like what clicked for you guys
finally to get that first dub andnow make it two in a row.
Oh, I felt like offensively wewere still scoring a lot of points,
but we were given like two three, maybe one to two to three drives

(39:27):
a game where we weren't scoring andwe just needed a few stops to help
us out. But as at thesame time, we weren't executing like how
we wanted to and how we knowwe can. And I think the last
two games all that kind of kindof came together at once. I mean,
we held Tulsa or the two soonwe held two son of thirty seven
points and we scored sixty. Sothat just shows you the type of team

(39:47):
we can be. And then lastweek going to shootout, we still,
like I said, defense, gotthose two stops that we needed and a
stop before the half, so Ithink it's three total that that helped us
get that victory. So we definitelyhad some hiccups and special teams stuff.
They blocked two of our kicks, ran one back as a four point swing
right there, but we found away to win, and that's kind of

(40:07):
been our slogan as late, justfind a way to win. It might
not be pretty, but we're tryingto shrink some wins together because it's a
long season and the West is lookinglike a little bit more difficult division in
the East right now. So wegot we got our work cutout for us.
Yeah, it's gonna be a fightto the finish. Some really good
football right now. So I'll askyou personally, which win felt better,
your first win in the IFL orgiven an undefeated team their first loss at

(40:30):
home. Yeah, definitely last game. Last game felt felt better. The
first game was great because we justkind of got that weight off our shoulders.
Like finally, I'm like, man, we're making the NL look bad,
the Sharks and the freaking gunslingers.Oh and three, both oh and
three. But finally get that winfelt good. But definitely last game to
go into their place, we weresixteen and a half point underdogs and to

(40:52):
win outright was definitely definitely a goodfeeling. Yeah that's good, man,
that's a that's a tough win toget and not many teams do it,
but for you guys to go inthere and Radlett went off was was really
impressive, So awesome job, Malkwhat you got for him? Man?
You mentioned Sam the NAAL brother.I want to say I started off well.

(41:14):
I started off in the CF,came to the IFL, went to
the NAA as well, So Imean, I've played in a number of
leagues so far. The NAAL wascertainly different than the IFL in a lot
of ways. Man, I loveboth leagues. But for you, how
was the transition so far? I'msure it probably wasn't too different for you
as a quarterback, but I guesshow is the transition for with both yourself

(41:37):
and like just helping other players comealong? Question? Yeah, No,
it's definitely been a transition. Ifeel like last game things finally slowed down
a little bit as far as coveragesand stuff. Because in the NL,
you know, there's three dbs andthen there's a jack but the jackins can't
go past five yards, so rightIFL. Sometimes I got five dudes dropping
back in the coverage, I'm like, WHOA, what the freak is going

(41:58):
on here? So it's definitely it'sdefinitely different. And I'm like, and
now I understand why people run theball so much, an il, Why
wouldn't you when you got four orfive dbs dropping back, So that makes
a lot of sense. But no, it was definitely an adjustment. Still
still a little bit of an adjustment, but we're starting to smooth things over.
But yeah, just just communicating withteammates and stuff as far as like,
oh, like these guys could dothis. Now, if you see

(42:20):
this, let's do this, andand vice versa. But yeah, definitely
an adjustment for sure. Now,you guys weren't a true expansion team,
but obviously there's been a lot ofpeople willing to cut you and Jacksonville some
slack. But I'm gonna assume thatyou guys probably didn't cut yourselves any slack
as far as when the season started, Like, when you guys finally got
that first win of the season, did it just feel like it was long

(42:43):
overdue, Like there was just thatmuch difference between a win and a loss
for you guys, or had youguys kind of given yourselves maybe a little
bit of slack. I think maybea little bit of slack. But at
the same time, we felt likewe definitely should have won that first game.
We felt like San Diego got awaywith one. We took the lead
with nine it's left and kind oflet them come back and take it back

(43:05):
from us. But we definitely feltlike we should have at least won that
game and maybe one or two morealong the way, but we just weren't
executing how we should and it wasobvious and you can't. You can't do
that if you want to win footballgames. So definitely a little bit of
grace, I would say, justbecause it is a new league, we
have new rules and all that stuff. But at the same time, that's

(43:25):
why they pay us to do whatwe do, so we gotta go out
and perform well. I think youguys have performed very well. In fact,
Malcolm and I, you know,we were looking at the stats from
the weekend. He had eight touchdownsto like four different receivers two hundred and
twenty two yards. I'm not sureif there was anything more that you could
do as a quarterback to come outwith that win. But props on that

(43:50):
performance. The last question I havefor you, and not to put you
on the spot, but I amcurious because you guys are in a similar
boat. If you had to lookover it at Jacksonville and just kind of
be like, Okay, maybe that'swhat it is. Like, you guys
are in the win column, they'renot yet. They're still looking for their
first win. Is there something thatyou could pinpoint now that you guys have
finally gotten your first win off yourback that you think is maybe holding them

(44:15):
up, Like if you had topinpoint one thing about what they're doing or
not doing. Yeah, I mean, I think it's kind of obvious that
they're struggling offensively. They haven't scoredforty points yet and a lot of these
final scores are forty fifty to sixtypoints. So it's gonna be hard to
win games if you're not scoring scoringpoints. So they they're working on it,

(44:35):
and they've they've had four different startingquarterbacks I think in five or six
games, so maybe three, butstill they've had some injuries to the starter
and Eddie. Eddie went in andplayed played pretty good, but they moved
on from him, and then theygot this new guy. He played al
right the first game, but it'sgonna be it's gonna be tough when you
have three or four different quarterbacks playingin five games to get around a roll.

(44:58):
Offensively, they got Terry's bang atreceiver. I think he's out last
week or two weeks ago, Soit's you got to score points to win
football games. And and I thinkas soon as they can kind of get
their rhythm back, I think they'llhave a good chance. I wouldn't be
surprised if they maybe got their firstone this weekend, I'll be honest.
Well, that's that's a bold prediction. I was really thinking they might do

(45:20):
it against Arizona. That game verymuch could have gone either way. Yeah,
it was back and forth for awhile and then they just kind of
pulled away. But yeah, Ithink I don't think if I think if
Dalton didn't play, I think theywould have a very very good chance to
win that game. Yeah, that'sa very good point. Good observation by
Sam Castronova. So, Malcolm,I'll toss it back to you one more
time before we cut our guests loose. For his valuable time. Yeah,

(45:43):
for sure, man. So Idon't think I have any other questions for
you, brother. I just wantto wish you, you know, much
more success going forward. You know, obviously I know you and a lot
more gas than I'm going down toRoss. I see a lot of familiar
names and faces and stuff. AndI mean, you know, I can't.
I can't help, but you know, root for y'all when I see
a lot of my guys on thattoday. Man, So I mean,
I'm happy y'all pulled it out thispast week and I'm definitely, you know,

(46:07):
looking for a lot more success goingforward. Coach, I said,
what's going on too? Well?Do brother? I appreciate it, and
thanks for having me on guys.Yeah, man, you guys have been
a lot of fun to watch Malcolmevery week. He's just like, you
see what Sam did last week.It was crazy. There's only a matter
of time before we got you onhere. So I said, mal you
get to pick this week. Seeif we can get Sam on here and

(46:30):
we can talk shop with him.But hey, I love what the gun
Slingers are doing. Happy you guysgot not only your first win, but
now back to back wins. Finally, it looks like a team that is
not going to be a bye weekfor everybody. So absolutely he needs some
of that some of that swag towear on the show, because all right,

(46:52):
he is the quarterback for the SanAntonio gun Slingers coming off an eight
touchdown performance in a huge road winagainst the previously undefeated Frisco fighters Sam Castronova.
Ladies and gentlemen, thank you somuch for your time man and save
travels. Good luck for the restof the season. Thank you, guys.
Have a good one. On thatnote, we have our pick them.

(47:14):
There are six games this weekend,so that means that four teams are
on a bye and as we lookat the first game, it's a Friday
one. It is the Jacksonville Sharkspeak of the devil taking on the Tulsa
Oilers in Tulsa. I know,I like to trust our guests on here
and believe what they say, butI I mean, he thinks that jackson

(47:38):
is gonna get their first win thisweek against Tulsa. I think Tulsa's got
other ideas. I'm gonna go backto picking Tulsa because Pat messaged me and
he was like, hey, Iheard you picked against us, and I
was like, the one time allseason I picked against you, and I'm
not even mad about it. I'mnot. I'm glad they got the win.

(47:59):
You know, So three and twoTulsa Oilers taking on a winless Jacksonville
Sharks. I really truly believe theonly way that Tulsa loses. This is
if they overlook Jackson. We knowJones, He's not a guy that overlooks
teams, man, So what areyour thoughts on it? I agree,
I do. I don't see Jonesoverlooking them, mainly because I know Jones

(48:21):
is such a priderful day, hewould hate to take an al versus a
team that's winless at the moment. So yeah, like you said, I
know Sam, he knows good footballwhen he sees it. But I simply
don't think Jackson's is to that pointyet. I think I said last week
that I think they should just chalkthis season up to the trial run more

(48:45):
or less, I'll kind of,I guess, tone that down a bit.
They I think they'll they'll get itright at some point this season,
but this week will not be becauseTulsa is just you know, they're too
much of a complete team, andthey're they're playing at such a high I
love right now, and I don'tthink it's going to matter. Yeah,
that's a good point on that one. So we both like Tulsa. I

(49:07):
guess if you listen to Sam Castronovaand his expertise in football, then you
may have some interest in this game. As far as if the Sharks do
in fact get their first win, maybe it's not the biggest shock to you
as it is as it would beto everybody else. So that's your first
Friday game. The next one isa familiar matchup the Green Bay Blizzard.

(49:30):
Only one loss on the season. It was all the way a month ago,
and we're coming up on a brandnew month next week and they are
going into Sue Falls to take onthe Storm who are still winless. This
it's crazy to think, but Ireally believe that this is another big test
to see just how for real GreenBay is. I don't know why I'm

(49:50):
not giving them more credit, butI think it's because Sue Falls gives me
that wounded animal mentality right now,Like, I just feel like you're going
into their house. They're winless,They've been so close. Oh, it's
it's it's tough. It feels likea trap game for a team like Green
Bay. But I'll defer to you, what are your thoughts. You get
the first picking this man, Yeah, you hit it right on the head

(50:15):
with that Suit Falls and still winless, and you know it's an opponent,
an opponent that doesn't have anything tolose is definitely dangerous. So I mean
I could see them, you know, pretty much putting up a big fight
against Green Bay. But Max Mileis just just hot right now. Man.

(50:36):
That defense is looking good too,So I just I just don't see
them losing this one. I thinkit would be closer than a lot of
people expect, but I don't thinksuit Falls is going to pull out a
victory TA in Green Bay. Yeah, and I did see Lorenzo Brown was
suited up on the sidelines. Hewas he had the headset on, but
it was still Billy Hall that gotthe start. So I don't know if
that changes this week at home forticket sales if nothing else, to try

(51:01):
to bring people in to see Lorenzo. But I wasn't overly shock and odd
by what he did in Arizona.I mean, yeah, he can still
play, but I just don't knowif you see that name as far as
active on a game preview, ifyou go, oh, man, like
we got to play against them,if that's what the effect that Lorenzo Brown
has anymore. So I'm gonna goGreen Bay. But just keep in mind

(51:24):
that Malcolm and I have emphasized thatthis is a game that could very much,
despite their records, go either waybecause of where SIUs falls is and
looking for that first win. Man, So we both like green Bay on
the road and that will bring usto our first Saturday matchup. And this
is one that well, it didnot disappoint last week and now we get

(51:45):
it again this week. It isthe Frisco Fighters, previously undefeated, but
they now have one lost courtesy oftheir opponent this week, the San Antonio
gun Slingers, who have rattled offback to back. We saw Area do
it against San Diego. Get theback to back win against the same opponent
in a week's time. Can SanAntonio do it, especially with the second

(52:08):
one being at home. Malcolm,I'm gonna let you go first on this
one. Yeah, yeah, somethingelse. I've seen a number of times.
It's hard to be a team twiceman, especially for Fighters. Man,
I really can't explain the surprise andshock that was just going through my

(52:30):
body as I've watched you let themcatch that that game with an interception.
But ultimately, I don't think thatFrisco put on their best showing of football
on you know, this past Saturday. I don't think that was and no
disrespect to San Antonio, a greatteam, but I don't think that was
Frisco playing at their best. ButI do think now that they've lost to

(52:52):
this team, they feel like theyhave a lot to prove and there they're
going to prove it for short thisweekend. So I'm taking Frisco. Okay,
I am actually gonna take San Antonio. I do think Frisco learned their
lesson as far as if they did, for whatever reason, overlooks San Antonio
at home. They're going to be, you know, probably pissed off about
that. Teams have a certain pridein winning at home. Right, it

(53:15):
doesn't matter if your record's perfect.If you're perfect at home, that's something
that's ticket sales, that's people inthe stands, you know, that's that
ninth man, that home field advantage. But they are on the road San
Antonio, looking at possibly three ina row after they started out winless and

(53:35):
showing that they are a force tobe reckoned with in the IFL. So
after talking with Sam, I'm abeliever and the gun slinger Sam Castronova and
the gun slingers of San Antonio,So I'm gonna go with them. That'll
bring us to our next matchup.Quad City and the steam Wheelers, coming
off of home loss, go intoIowa to take on Kyle King and the

(53:57):
winless Iowa Barnstormers again, another gamethat kind of feels like Green Bay sous
falls Quad City, though kind ofin a different boat because they seem to
go win lost, win loss. This one is a win that they need
as far as if they're gonna keeppace with several other teams, including Green
Bay. So I am gonna goQuad City on the road, Malcolm,

(54:20):
who do you like? Like yousaid, this is a win that Quad
City needs, and I think thatthey understand that, and I think they're
gonna act accordingly. So I'm thinkingthat they will take it home for sure.
One thing that stands out to meabout Quad City, especially within the
past couple of weeks, they've hadsome key signings on the defensive side,
and their defense they're they're playing alot more gritty, with a lot more

(54:44):
you know, attitude, and it'salmost as if they have something to prove.
Man. So there they got somehard those guys, especially in that
secondary. So yeah, I thinkthat it's gonna it's gonna ultimately be a
defensive game, especially on Quad Cityside, but I think they're gonna no
come out with a debute. Okay, we both like the steam Wheelers there,
and that brings us to a Saturdaymatchup featuring two undefeated squads. Somebody's

(55:08):
gotta win penning a tie, whichcross your fingers, that doesn't happen,
but somebody's got to walk out thelast undefeated team of the twenty twenty four
IFL season, and that is theVegas Nighthawks going into Bay Area to take
on the reigning defending champion Panthers.Malcolm, I'll go ahead and let you
go first on this one. Whoyou taking? Who's the real deal undefeated

(55:30):
team of the season right now?Ah? Man, every time a battle
of the undefeated, it's always agreat game. But it's so hard to
choose, man. I mean it'sobvious. I mean, both get two
stellar quarterbacks, two explosive offenses, and the defenses are playing light so too.
So I mean it's hard to say. I don't know if Jerome Johnson

(55:53):
is gonna get to start this week, Like you said, I'm not entirely
sure. If he was injured, let's than that, or if I highly
doubt that he was benched. Imean, he's just playing, but we'll
see. Man, I'm I'm bankingon him getting the start. But either
way, I'm gonna go away bayArea for sure. I think, uh,

(56:15):
you know they're gonna they're gonna getthat all right. Well, I'm
actually gonna pick the Nighthawks for acouple of reasons in this one. One,
if Craig is not playing for BayArea right now, I have no
obligation to pick bay Area other thanmaybe Dixie, right so we can get
that out of the way. Ihave no obligation to pick a team that
my friend happens to be on becausehe's not on it right now. But

(56:37):
also, I don't know what playerswere are going to be disciplined from that
whole ending with them in San Diego. Five players total. I don't know
how many of that's from Bay Area. I don't know how many of that
was from San Diego. But Ido know that that's enough to have a
significant impact on a twenty five manroster if they are in fact suspended for

(56:59):
however many games. So I'm notsaying that that's gonna be enough to make
a huge difference. But mentally, where are they physically and roster wise,
where are they? So I thinkthe Nighthawks they're red hot right now and
a lot of people have questioned theirstrength of schedule deservedly so, but I

(57:19):
think that this is is the onegame that they want, like they had
it circled on their calendar after startingthree and oh for the first time,
Like this is we want them whenthey're undefeated, because we're going to be
undefeated too, and we're going togo in there and get that win.
And I am going to take theNighthawks. I'm going to take a flyer
on these guys and say that theygo in there feeling all that momentum and
and just take it to the champs. So it's gonna be a great game

(57:42):
regardless. Like I can't wait forthis game to be personally, so that's
for sure, is definitely gonna bea good one. So I like it.
I like the reasoning. I hadn'teven thought about the you know that
the players being kind of as itjust slipped my mind, but you know,
the pick is in, so I'llride with it, all right.
So the last one, our loneSunday game Northern Arizona Wranglers four game winning

(58:08):
streak red Hot team also taking onthe wounded animal that is the San Diego
Strikeforce, having a few players possiblysuspended as well three and two. But
man, it's the same team thatthey've lost to twice. So I am
going to actually go with Malcolm topick first on this one. I can't

(58:31):
tell you off, but I don'tlike you right now. Yeah, you
know, keeping in mind what youjust said about there, we don't know
how many players there they may ormay not have due to whatever penalty is

(58:51):
is enforced because of what transpired thispast weekend. So I mean, that's
just that's the that's the that's adoozy in this one, man. I
don't know. What we do knowis that NAZ has, you know,
a great offense, and they've beenplaying pretty good on defense as well,

(59:13):
and as far as we know, they have their full roster. So I'm
taking NAS in this one. Rich. I think I gotta good with the
good, with the with the sorehand on this one. I don't want
to. I would love to seeSan Diego put it out, but I
don't know. There's just too manyuncertainties on that side. Part of me

(59:34):
wants to go with Naz. Butif I'm going to defend putting San Diego
at three in my power rankings,I feel like I'm obligated to pick the
strikeforce in this. So I willpick the San Diego strike Force, which
means that we're different on three picksonce again. And so now has come
the time the portion of our programbefore, to pick the punishment. Malcolm

(59:55):
sent a wig. It has notarrived yet, so I couldn't wear it
today. So he's said, Okay, since I beat you again, we're
gonna do a classic. We're gonnado a pie to the face. So
I'm gonna I got it. What'sgoing on? He sees you just fun?

(01:00:15):
Oh yeah, the all important partof the show. Oh so this
is a non dairy Okay, okay, right there, I got you.

(01:00:37):
I got you Dad? Are youready? Three? Two? One?
You go? Oh it's so cold? Oh? We love it? We
love it. We love it.No, I am good. Oh man,

(01:01:06):
Yes, thank you Dad, justso much. We appreciates always.
Oh boy, hey, I couldhave asked for a better punishment, don't
you don't you just feel great tostop making so the show? Because he's

(01:01:27):
the one. I love you.I love you. Rich Okay, so
that was my messy but oddly tastypie to the face punishment for this week.
Sorry, barnstormers, I didn't meanfor your shirt to beat the uh

(01:01:52):
the collateral damage in this. Thereit is all right. So Malcolm gets
a short, sweet and instant gratificationpun Schmidt. Well he awaits the wig
to arrive. I still gotta lookforward to that. Oh wow, all
right, so that's the show.I get to go shower now. Oh
