Brief Summary & Bio:
Today we’re talking about stress eating, obsessive dieting, disordered eating (and how that differs from an “eating disorder”), and binge eating. We’re all going through a lot in the last several months, and so many of us are turning to food for comfort. Our guest today is a disordered eating specialist and she’s here to help us understand how to cope and find support for stress-eating and beyond. She’s totally relatable and compassionate, too.

Melainie Rogers is a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian
and Supervisor, and she is dedicated to supporting others in their quest to achieve long-term recovery. She is the Founder and Executive Director of BALANCE eating disorder treatment center in New York City. She’s the co-founder and first President of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals New York and currently sits on the Advisory Board with Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia.
