Whistleblower Alice Allen returns as this week's guest on the Harness Racing Alumni Show. Please listen to her as she candidly informs Freddie, Trade and Bob, updates on the current racing investigations that involve multiple states and the Albany Times Union. Alice also discusses the fact that many people do not come forward with what they know because of the fear of retaliation from the wrongdoers. Allen then reveals that the racing commissions are not giving participants their legal due process rights. Alice closes with a quick update on legal action underway to have the victims of the indicted trainers’ purse money redistributed. All on this week's Harness Racing Alumni Show..!!!

is whistleblower Alice Allen. Alice, welcome back to the Harness Racing Alumni Show.
Well, thank you, Freddie. How are you today? Good Alice?
Why do you think the people inracing have let the sport deteriorate to
such a point that it's on theverge of demise. I believe that most

(01:57):
people didn't know how to take backtheir sport and the fear of retribution it's
so severe. And every sport,in every business, you need like leaders,
and you need and there are thefollowers. And when it's kind of
like I compare it to Jim Jones, when Jim Jones that here drink the

(02:21):
kool aid, you had mass genocide. And I think the leaders of our
sport, many of them. I'vehad the people go ahead and drink that
kool aid and they killed themselves. The fear of retribution to stand up is
so severe because if they do,they know they'll be ostracide. They know

(02:46):
that they've got a long road ahead. If they raise their right hand,
their powers in the sport will comeafter them severely. And then today world,
it's totally it's a lot different.More people are coming forward, more

(03:07):
people are saying this is what iswrong with the sport and hopefully they'll be
able to take it back with innovativeideas. And all the people, well,
what about the what about the twostandards and the denial of due process?
Well, in harness Racing, thegreatest civil rights lawyer twenty five years

(03:32):
ago is that any lawyer that getsin harness racing, the denial of due
process is severe. And that civilrights lawyer was William Kunstler. And I
do believe he's correct, because thedesial with due process within the Commission,
within USPA is almost to the pointwhere you could compare it to slavery.

(04:01):
If you don't play by their game, their rules, their ideas, you're
off decieties who won't be able towork. And I could say that from
personal experience, because I've communicated withUSTA only to have severe ramifications. I

(04:25):
cooperated in New York. I raisedmy right hand. Not only did the
horsemen come from me, the commissioncame from me, and I think there'll
be a period of time, Freddie, Well give you the recording. You
had commissioners to say, here, let's just prove it crazy, let's do

(04:47):
this, let's do that, andsweep so many things under the rug,
and most people could not stand theretribution that they would have to sistend.
You take a look at the AdrianHalls, You take a look at Link,

(05:09):
You take a look at anyone inyourself, anyone in this sport that
has decided to take a stand. You look at that guy that owns that
Charlie horse. Anyone that takes astand has a severe price to pay for
what's doing, what's right, OhFreddie, anybody that pays a price for

(05:31):
standing up, the retribution severe. And only from my own experiences could I
tell you how severe gets. WhenI cooperated in New York, went to
the commission over some of the peopleand what was going on then robbing and

(05:53):
diverting funds from the sire Stakes program. Or when I call ustas they asked
me if I'm wearing a wire,I'm not radio shack and they come after
you with vengeance. Judges call youin and it's just an excusable the actions

(06:15):
of the state regulatories and the inactions is more severe than the crime itself
because they know and they're there toprotect the industry. The leaders USTA forget
about it, think that just asimple record keeping agency the same thing that

(06:36):
they say that they are because theydon't enforce regulation, they don't help horsemen.
They have no power at all fortheir hotline. They just share that
to protect themselves. So, inmy opinion, you need a complete overhaul

(06:57):
of the system because the people thatare truthful take a stand. They're denied
the process. The people that runthis henhouse, it's they have no business
grinding it and they think they're Barneyfives. But I think the change is
coming and I think that most ofthe people, if they recognize what is

(07:24):
about to happen, and when theyread the wire taps and they read the
court cases, many of its online, they will recognize how dirty, dirty
this sport is. And the governmentdid as good job. At least they
helped, at least this is inthe public's eye now at least there's discussion.

(07:48):
Before full fill. With a discussion, you might as well just get
out of the business. Well,Emily Munson from the Time Union. I
guess all many Time Union. She'sbeen publishing some articles. I guess on
the New York Gaming Yeah, apar damage into this quarter. Rason.

(08:09):
I guess you've been following these articlesand investigations, and I guess the general
what's you call, missa b Doyou believe that the articles are there?
I believe miss Munson did her homeworkor it couldn't be put in the press.

(08:31):
And for past experience, and whenI read these articles, New York
Gaming said they never had any recordsof complaints or they no one's can't.
They don't seem to find any ofthe copies. Well, I have twelve
legal boxes from lawyers offices that theycould have a copy at any time.

(08:54):
Because the complaints that I filed, actions were taken, and some good,
some bad. It's very disturbing thearticles and the investigations printed in the newspapers.
How a state employee altering the sportsbetting events and fixing the draws,

(09:22):
how they were allowed to keep theirpension, and why an Inspector general wouldn't
afford that to attorney general for criminalprostitution is beyond me. I think the
system now will be a little betterbecause miss Lead doesn't work in the Gaming
office. She works for the InspectorGeneral. But at this time, everybody's

(09:46):
running for cover because for the lasteight years these complaints were filed and Gaming
got to answer them themselves. Theyknew when to stop, and there was
a reason that they weren't published. No one wanted anyone to know what was

(10:09):
going on in their own house. And I hope Thiss Monthly keeps writing the
articles because Freddie bottom rhyme is halfMy information came from state officials and they
would call me and they would tellme Gaming won't let me do this,

(10:31):
and Gaming won't let me do that, and they needed help because they felt
so guilty because they weren't doing rightby the horsemen. So when all these
people were calling you, when they'restate officials and they're giving you this information
and you're bringing them forward, I'mreally glad that those Gaming employees contacted or

(11:01):
at least spoke to her. AndI can understand why they the names weren't
published. They'd lose their jobs.It does not make good sense that Gaming
would go after a fella for registeringa vehicle in another state and he wouldn't

(11:22):
go after a fella that was alteringa sports betting event and it was their
own employee. So I think wheneven the gaming officials that blew the whistle
or stood tall and told them whatwas happening within the organization suffered their own

(11:46):
retribution. And that's pretty sad.But I think it's about I think the
whole sport is about to change.I think next thirty day, forty five
days, as you see these recordsunfold and as you see conversations unfold,

(12:11):
I think it's going to make thepublic very aware of what happened with the
sport. I know that firstly, those criminal investigations in Jersey, New York,
these investigations wouldn't be open if theUnited States government wouldn't have stepped in.

(12:35):
But I think now the leaders ofthe sport, the horsemen, have
to be able to stand up andtake back their sport, run for elections,
change this status quo, and changethe system of how they've done business
for the last thirty years. AndI think that's very important for all of

(13:01):
us, because if not all, these horsemen will be taking the same farewell
tour that I'm taking now. Thisindustry in the public's eye will be closed
down, and it'll be closed downin its entirety for being so criminal.
The pictures, the tapes that Ihave, it's absolutely mind boggling how these

(13:26):
people could still contain an operation. It's inexcusable how these commissions knew which vets
were supplying the epos, in supplyingall the drugs, and they had it
right before them, took no action. They've made top salaries, and they've

(13:50):
failed to protect the public. Andon every commission in the United States that
conducts racing, their mission statement isto protect the integrity embracing. I have
one more question for you, andI've had a bunch of people contact me

(14:13):
with this. On our last show, you have said that they are looking
to redistribute the purses and collect thepurses that were won by trainers that are
now in jail. Who who isthe law firm handling that and how do
people get in touch with them too? I file a super well, Freddie

(14:35):
that I'd like to stay a littlesilent till they file it. But there
was a group of individuals that we'reintelligent enough to know that to fight USTA
where they have their own elections, and that executives on that board were some
of the biggest perpetrators in the sport. That a group of individ angels got

(15:00):
together and it will be filed classauction, and if it doesn't, they're
doing the final paperwork and they've askedthey'll get in touch with you, and
I'll be glad to give you thatinformation, but I'd rather wait till that's
exactly a file because it will includesome of the conversations of record that are

(15:22):
in the federal courts. It willinclude many of the people owners that knew
that they were doping, these sourcesthat failed to see, you know,
say that they weren't. But themeetings will be exposed. There'll be so
much exposure from some of the mostprolific people, and at least all these

(15:48):
others will be able to stand backand say, hey, this was mine
and I want it. And whenyou read hopefully that most people will go
and read the documents. The governmentalready knows who's entitled to money, they
know who those victims are. Theydid their homework. So I'll get back

(16:11):
with you, and hopefully I'll getback with you before the end of the
week, because that is being processedas we speak. If you're buying are
