In this episode of The Heart of Fiat Crucified Love, Dr. Mary Kloska simply invites her listeners to pray a rosary along with her while stopping at each mystery to meditate on the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The month of June has always been the month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and so by sharing these reflections from the saints (St. Margaret Mary, St. John Eudes, St. Gertrude, St. Augustine, as well as from ancient Carthusians) she hopes to draw the listener deep into the experience of Christ's passionate love which so desires to consume us as it pours from His Sacred Heart.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Listening to WCAT radio, your home for authentic Catholic programming.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
The evening, God bless you a blessed Sunday, and the
feast of the Ascension at least celebrated that way. Right,
We're already deep into our preparation for Pentecost. We're going

(00:39):
to pray the Rosary and our litany to the Holy Name,
and our devotions to the infinitive praud like we do
on Sundays. But as it's June first, and it begins
that beautiful month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, I

(01:03):
thought I would be sure to pull out also this
statue of the Infant of Divine Love. We ask his
intercession especially for the graces of humility and littleness purity
of heart as we enter into this month of the

(01:27):
Sacred Heart. We see here in this statue he's holding
out his heart on fire with love for us, offering
it to us as a gift, as it were, asking
to exchange hearts with us. And every year in the

(01:52):
month of June, as we are supposed to meditate deeply
on the gift of the Sacred Heart. I'd always tried
to go back to the saints who focused on that devotion,
and I pulled out again today these books and I'll
share with you meditations that the mysteries from them. I

(02:18):
have Saint Margaret Mary A la Coke, and this book
according to Saint Gertrude, and a book written actually by
Carthusians in the thirteen hundreds and the fourteen hundreds is
when it first started being used. And they've they've continued

(02:39):
to pass it down and reuse it there, especially in
the chartreuse right. And then this meditation from Saint John Yud's,
So will meditate especially on this fire of divine love
that Christ offers us in his heart. It's like offering

(03:00):
us a furnace where we can be refined and purified.
And as the Desert Fathers used to say, we can
become fire. We can become the fire of love. Right.
And we offer this rosary for the intentions of the

(03:24):
Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
most specifically in reparation for the sins and the sacrileges
against the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart. We pray
in reparation, and we pray asking the Lord to help

(03:45):
us be set on fire with love I have all
these little footstools. I'm going to bring one more over
for the computer, and then we'll start. We pray for

(04:10):
the many intentions that all of you have. I ask
you to remember my many intentions. But we also know
that as we pray for the intentions of Jesus and Mary,
they pray for us, and their prayers for us are

(04:34):
way more powerful than anything that we could desire or
ask for, and so we just trust. That's what the
Sacred Heart this month is about, is coming to trust
in the Lord. And so we're going to do that

(04:55):
in the Rosary today in a special ways. Instead of
listing all of our intentions we normally do, will simply
pray for their intentions and ask them to pray for us.
Ask that as we allow ourselves dacily to be open
to the Holy Spirit and this gift of love pouring

(05:15):
from the heart the wounded heart of Christ, that by
allowing him to love us and by returning that love,
that all the things we normally would pray about those
intentions will be more efficaciously answered. Jesus said to Saint

(05:46):
Margaret Mary Alacoke, there must be no reserve in love. Right,
we remember, Saint Therez said that love does not calculate,
love does not measure. There must be no reserve, nothing
held back. Imagine coming to a great ocean of Christ's love.

(06:14):
He wants us to jump off and dive to the
very bottom of his heart, to drink in the love,
to soak in the love, to be consumed by it.
And in that we give relief to his heart that
aches to pour itself out for us. So that's our intention.

(06:42):
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the
Holy spiriting Men, Oh Jesus, and union with your most
precious blood poured out on the cross and offered in
every mass. I offer you today my prayers, works, joys,
sorrows and sufferings, in praise of your holy Name, for

(07:03):
all the desires of your sacred heart, and reparation for sin,
for the conversion of sinners, for the union of all Christians,
for all of the intentions of our hearts, and for
a final union with You in Heaven. Amen, my Queen
and my Mother, I give myself entirely to you, and

(07:26):
to show my devotion to you, I consecrate to you
this day my eyes, my ears, my mouth, my heart,
my entire self without reserve, Wherefore, Good Mother, as I
am thy own, keep me and guard me as thy
property and possession. And we pray that prayer of Jabe's Oh,

(07:46):
that you would bless us indeed and enlarge our territory,
that your hand would be upon us, that you would
keep us from evil, that we would never cause pain.
I believe in God the Father, the Almighty, creator of
heaven and Earth, than in Jesus Christ, his only son,
our Lord, who is conceived by the Holy Spirit, born

(08:11):
of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Punch's pilot, was crucified, died,
and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third
day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into
heaven and is seated at the right hand of God
the Father, the Almighty. From thence ye shall come to

(08:32):
judge a living and the dead. I believe in the
Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and
life everlasting. Amen for Pope Leo, the cardinals, the archbishop's bishops,

(08:53):
and the priests who work with them. Our Father, whart
in heaven, Hallow it be thy name, Thy Kingdom, Come
Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us to stay our daily bread, and forgive us
our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

(09:13):
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from
evilly men. For an increase of faith. Hail Mary, full
of grace. The Lord is with thee blessed, Art thou
among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus,
Holy Mary, Mother of God. Pray for us sinners now

(09:36):
and at the hour of our death. They men for
an increase of hope. Hail Mary, full of grace. The
Lord is with thee blessed art thou among women, and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary,
Mother of God. Pray for us sinners now and at
the hour of our death. Theymen, for an increase of love, charity, conversion.

(10:01):
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit
of thy won Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God. Pray
for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen,
All glory be to the Father and to the Son,

(10:21):
and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning,
is now and ever shall be world without end, Amen Jesus.
The first glorious mystery is the resurrection. Jesus said to

(10:44):
Saint Gertrude, Unite your love to my divine love, that
thus it may become perfect. And even as iron, glowing
with fire, becomes as it were, one with them, So
let your love be transformed and absorbed in mine. The

(11:09):
love of Jesus must transform us into himself, even as
fire transforms iron into its own nature, so that he
may offer to his heavenly father souls victims in one
holocaust with himself. In former days, victims had to be

(11:35):
consumed by fire in order that they may rise to
heaven as an odor of sweetness. In a like manner,
the Church must also be consumed by the fire of love.
That is, a pure victim immolated with Jesus, she may
rise to heaven when her sacrifice is accomplished. This gift

(12:03):
to Christ must combine love and sacrifice. They must never
be separated. Love is a flame that requires a victim
and sacrificed is only consumed in the flames of love. Oh,

(12:27):
may we be this victim and immolate ourselves in sacrifice,
for love is God himself. Sacrifice makes us holy, makes
us God like. A victim consumed is a soul united
to God, lost in God, transformed in God. And we

(12:53):
must always live this in confidence. What have we to fear?
It is love that calls us, Love that gives, all, provides,
all will accomplish all, Love that can wish only what

(13:14):
is good for us. It is impossible, then, to respond
to love otherwise than by confidence. And since it is
boundless love that invites us, let us respond also by
boundless confidence. Jesus said to Saint Gertrude, Behold, how for

(13:46):
your love I have will to be attached to a cross, naked,
disfigured and covered with wounds, and with all my members
violently distended. My heart is so passionately enamored of you,
that were it necessary in order to save you, I

(14:08):
would again willingly endure for you alone all that I
have suffered for the salvation of the whole world. When
impalled by the veheminence of love, I enter a soul
by holy communion in the Eucharist. I fill it with graces,

(14:34):
and all the inhabitants of heaven and earth, and all
the souls in purgatory experience at that same moment some
new effect of my bounty. May your heart wan by
its attractions, be fixed on Jesus. For may the fire

(15:02):
of his heart's love so absorb your mind that you
know not but it and the lesson of love that
it gives you. May it so engrave itself in your
memory that you may have it always present to your recollection.

(15:24):
So imprint itself in your imagination as to purify and
sanctify it. So penetrate all the powers of your soul
that they may be directed according to the law of love.
Gaze at him who is will to be lifted high

(15:47):
to attract the eyes of all, For in doing so
you will be healed of all your wounds. Oh yes, Lord,
may it ever be so, Oh Love, make no delay.
Do quickly what you desire. Plunge me with yourself in

(16:12):
the heart of Jesus crucified, in order that my poor
nature may be consumed in its flames. My life may
become pure and holy with thee Plunge me in the
eucharistic heart of Jesus, that my sacrifice, like his may

(16:33):
be perpetual, that I may ever be in union with him,
a victim of worship, of praise, and of love, the
resurrection of Jesus, our Father, who are in heaven, hallow
it thee thy name, Thy Kingdom. Come, Thy will be

(16:55):
done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us
a stay daily bread. And forgive us our truspasses, as
we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not
into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen, Hail Mary,
full of grace. The Lord is with thee blessed art

(17:18):
thou among women. Blessed is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus,
Holy Mary, Mother of God. Pray for us sinners. Now
in it the hour of our death. Amen, Hail Mary,
full of grace. The Lord is with thee blessed art
thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus,

(17:41):
Holy Mary, Mother of God. Pray for us sinners now
in it the hour of our death. Amen, Hail Mary,
full of grace. The Lord is with THEE blessed art
thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus,
Holy Mary, Mother of God. Pray for us sinners. Now

(18:05):
in it the hour of our death. Amen, Hail Mary,
full of grace. The Lord is with THEE blessed art
thou among women. Blessed is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus,
Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us sinners. Now
in it the hour of our death. Amen Hail Mary,

(18:27):
full of grace. The Lord is with THEE blessed art
thou among women, And blessed is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus,
Holy Mary, Mother of God. Pray for us sinners. Now
in it the hour of our death. Amen Hail Mary,
full of grace. The Lord is with THEE blessed art

(18:50):
thou among women, And blessed is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus,
Holy Mary, Mother of God. Pray for us sinners. Now
in it the hour of our death. Amen Hail Mary,
full of grace. The Lord is with THEE blessed art
thou among women, And blessed is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus,

(19:14):
Holy Mary, Mother of God. Pray for us sinners. Now
in it the hour of our death. Amen, Hail Mary,
full of grace. The Lord is with THEE blessed art
thou among women, And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus,
Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us sinners. Now

(19:36):
in it the hour of our death. Amen, Hail Mary,
full of grace. The Lord is with thee blessed, Art
thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. Jesus,
Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us sinners now
in it the hour of our death. Amen, Hail Mary,

(19:59):
full of gray. So Lord is with thee blessed, Art
thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy
won Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us sinners,
now in it the hour of our death. Amen. Glory
be to the Father, to the Son, and to the

(20:19):
Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now
and ever shall be world without end. Amen O, my Jesus,
forgive us our sins, Save us from the fires of
how lead all souls to heaven, Help especially those who
are most in need of thy mercy. Come, Holy Spirit,

(20:44):
Come by the means of the powerful intercession of the
Immaculate Heart of Mary, Thy well beloved spouse. Are they ah,
they mighty.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
Ah ah they mind.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
The second glorious mystery is the ascension. Pope Benedict the
sixteenth writes about the ascension, that is, Christ stretches his
arms open and rises up to Heaven. He does so
to rip open the veil of heaven, and he keeps
his arms outstretched so that Heaven may pour upon us

(21:36):
on earth. This month of the Sacred Heart, we picture
the heart of Christ entrusted to us in the Euchrest.
How through the Eucharist, through the wound of his sacred heart,
that we receive in the eucharst Heaven is ripped open

(21:56):
and poured out upon us and within us. We ask
for the grace to receive the graces in fullness that
Christ desires to give us, and to respond in full
Saint Augustine desired to be wounded by the heart wound

(22:20):
of the sacred Heart, he said, he wrote, Oh, my
sweet Savior, by the life giving wounds you have received
on the cross for our salvation, By the holy wounds
which have shed your precious blood for our redemption. Pierce
I beseech you, my sinful soul, for which you have

(22:44):
vouchsafe to die, pierce it through and through with the
burning darts of your supreme charity. I beseech you, most
merciful Lord, so to penetrate my heart with the flaming
arrows of your mighty love, that tears of devout tenderness

(23:08):
may spring abundantly from this blessed wound. Strike, Oh, go Jesus,
my hard and unfeeling heart, with i irresistible force of
your holy love, so that it alone may fill my

(23:29):
thoughts and my affections. Why indeed was the heart of
Jesus wounded for us with a wound of love, It
was in order that we might enter through the door
of the side into his divine heart. There we can
return him love for love. There we can unite our

(23:53):
love to his love, so that both may form but one,
as white high iron in a furnace forms a portion
of the fire which consumes it. Since Jesus has suffered
his holy hands and feet to be pierced for love
of us, we ought for love of him, to consecrate

(24:16):
to him our hands and our feet, by offering him
all our affections and all of our actions. Above all,
we should offer our hearts to God by conforming our
wills to his ingratitude. For this wound of love which

(24:37):
Jesus Christ received for us upon the cross, when his
most sweet heart was pierced through with the dart of
an insuperable love. Saint Augustine had entered the heart of
Jesus by this wound, when he said, long, Genus with

(24:58):
his spear has opened for me the sight of Jesus Christ.
I have entered there. There I repose securely the nails
and lance sorry cry out that I am risen with him,
if I give him all of my love. Our superabundant

(25:27):
redemption springs from the pierced heart of Jesus, its sources
found there as a hidden treasure. Shall not then this
wounded heart of Jesus wound our own hearts. Shall we
not feel compassion for him? Shall we not love him?

(25:51):
It is evident that with the Lord there is mercy
and plentiful redemption. Yes, most plentiful. It was not a
few drops, but streams of blood that flowed from his
five wounds. He shed it to the last drop. The

(26:14):
blood circulating under the skin flowed in the scourging that
of the head, and the crowning with thorns that of
the veins. With his feet and hands being pierced, a
few drops still remained in the breast and in the
heart of Jesus, but they gushed out when the soldier

(26:38):
pierced aside the ascension. Our Father, who are in heaven,
hallow it be thy name, thy kingdom. Come. Thy will
be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give
us to stay our daily bread, and forgive us our

(26:59):
trust passes, as we forgive those who truspass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen,
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee

(27:20):
blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God. Pray
for us sinners now and in the hour of our death. Amen,
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee
blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit

(27:41):
of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God. Pray
for us sinners now in it the hour of our death. Amen,
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee
blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb. Shee Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray

blessed art thou among women, And blessed is the fruit

(29:10):
of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray
for us sinners now in it the hour of our death. Amen,
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with THEE
blessed art thou among women, And blessed is the fruit
of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray

(29:33):
for us sinners. Now in it the hour of our death. Aamen,
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee blessed.
Art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of
thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God. Pray for

the Father and the Son into the Holy Spirit. As

(30:19):
it was in the beginning, is thou and ever shall
be world without end. Amen, Oh My Jesus, forgive us
our since save us from the fires of how lead
all souls to heaven. Holp especially those who are most
in need of thy mercy. Come, Holy Spirit, Come by

(30:40):
the means of the powerful intercession. The Immaculate Heart of Mary,
thy well beloved spouse of a A.

Speaker 4 (30:52):
Ay Mighty, a A A.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Of the Third Glorious Mystery, is the Son of the
Holy Spirit. Upon the Apostles and our Lady at Pentecost,
and this mystery we pray for an outpouring, the consumption

(31:22):
being consumed a possession by the Holy Spirit as he
pours out in full from the heart of Christ's peers.
Christ and his sacred heart pours out his love on us.
And the perfect love between the Father and the Son

(31:45):
is the Holy Spirit. If you wish to be easily
and thoroughly cleansed from sin, freed from all your imperfections,
enriched with many graces, you must cut off all unnecessary
occupations and surrender yourself to the eternal charity that is

(32:10):
taught by the Holy Spirit, in order to become its disciple,
without any effort of the imagination, but by the sole
force of the mind and the will frequently offer give
up and cast your heart and soul into the most
sweet heart of our Lord, Jesus Christ, your Creator, your Redeemer,

(32:36):
your crucified friend, into his heart so full of love,
into his heart, the abode of the most Holy Trinity,
into his heart where dwells all the fullness of the
Godhead corporeally, into his heart through which we have access

(32:57):
both in one spirit to the Father, into his heart finally,
which in its infinite love contains and embraces all the
elect in heaven and all of those on earth. Desire

(33:20):
unceasingly to behold your Savior face to face. Confide to
him your troubles. Draw his heart into yours, with its
spirit and its love, its graces, and its virtues. Abandon
yourself lovingly to it, and sorrow and enjoy. Confide in

(33:46):
it and cling to it. Dwell in the heart of Jesus,
being careful to keep the unity of the Spirit in
the bond of peace, so that he and may vouchsafe.
Take up his abode within your heart. Lastly, sleep and

(34:08):
take your rest in the heart of Jesus. The hearts
of mortals will prove false, or they will forsake you,
But the most faithful heart of Jesus will never abandon you.
The outpouring of the Holy Spirit, our Father, who art

(34:31):
in Heaven, hollow it be thy name, thy Kingdom. Come,
Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us a stay our daily bread, and forgive us
are truspasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen,

(34:57):
Hey o Mary, full of grace. The Lord is thee

of thy womb. Jesus Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray

(35:41):

thee blessed art thou among women, And blessed is the
fruit of thy will. Jesus Holy Mary, Mother of God.

Mother of God. Pray for us sinners now in it

to the Father and to the Son. And to the
Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now
and ever shall be world without endy amen O, my Jesus,

(37:52):
forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell.
Lead all souls to Heaven. Help especially those who are
most in need of thy mercy. Come, Holy Spirit, Come
by the means of a powerful intercession the Immaculate Heart
of Mary, thy well beloved spouse.

Speaker 4 (38:13):
Ay they are they mighty.

Speaker 5 (38:20):
Ah Ah theyvey ah, they mighty.

Speaker 2 (38:31):
The fourth glorious mystery is the assumption of our Lady
into heaven, body and soul. In this mystery we pray
that we are consumed by the fire of Christ's love
to the same degree as our lady, that we may
have her humility with which to receive the fullness of

(38:52):
His love, and that we may be purified so that
we can reflect her purity in this world so lost
in sin. This is from Saint John Hughes, a furnace
of ardent love to enkindle and inflame the whole universe.

(39:17):
M h. Let us consider first of all the most
brilliant flames of this great furnace of love for the
eternal Father that we call the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
What mind can conceive, what tongue express the tiniest spark

(39:39):
of this illimitable, flaming furnace of love for his father.
It is a love worthy of such a father and
of such a son. It is a love that most
perfectly equals the ineffitable perfections of its beloved obt Here

(40:02):
is a son infinitely loving a father who is infinitely lovable,
a god loving a God. Here is love in its
very essence, loving eternal love, a love that is boundless, incomprehensible, infinite,

(40:26):
passing all limits, and loving in turn, a love that
is boundless, incomprehensible, infinite, and passing all limits. In a word,
the sacred heart of Jesus, whether considered in his divinity
or in his humanity, is more ardently enkindled with love

(40:51):
for his Father, loving him infinitely more at any given
moment than all the hearts of the angels and saints
together can love him throughout all of eternity. The assumption
of our Lady, our Father, who art in heaven, hallow

(41:13):
it be thy name, thy kingdom. Come, Thy will be
done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us
a stay, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive all those who trespass against us. Lead
us not into temptation, but deliver us from all evil. Amen,

(41:36):
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with THEE
blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God. Pray
for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen,
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee
blessed art thou among women, And blessed is the fruit

(41:59):
of life thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God.
Pray for us sinners now in the hour of our death. Amen,
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with THEE
blessed art thou among women, And blessed is the fruit
of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God. Pray

(42:21):
for us sinners now in it the hour of our death. Amen,
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with THEE
blessed art thou among women, And blessed is the fruit
of thy womb. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God. Pray
for us sinners now in it the hour of our death. Amen.

(42:43):
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with THEE
blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb. Jesus Holy Mary, Mother of God. Pray
for us sinners. Now in it the hour of our death. Amen,
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee

(43:03):

Speaker 2 (45:22):
The fifth glorious mystery, the coronation of our Lady as
Queen and Heaven and Earth. From this mystery, we ask
our Lady as our Queen, to entrust us to the
sacred Heart to pick the thorns of sin from our hearts,

(45:44):
our imperfections, our failures, so that we do not cause
pain to Christ as we approach him, so that as
he finds sanctuary within our hearts, within the Eucharist, we
may have a beautiful garden of painless love that gives

(46:04):
him comfort. Oh, my Savior, I give myself to THEE
to unite myself to thy eternal, boundless and infinite love
for thy almighty Father, Oh adorable Father, I offer THEE
all the eternal, boundless and infinite love of thy son Jesus,

(46:28):
as a love which is mine. Just as our lovable
Savior says to us, as the Father has loved me,
so I also love you, I may say to you,
Oh Divine Father, I love you even as your son
loves you. Oh Father of Jesus, I give myself to

(46:52):
you to be united to your boundless and eternal love
for your beloved son. O, my Jesus, I offer you
all the eternal, the boundless, the infinite love of your Father,
and I offer it to you as a love which
is mine. Would that heaven and earth and all creatures

(47:20):
might be changed into a pure flame of love for
the Father of Goodness and for the only son of
His divine delight. Here before we pray the fifth Glorious mystery.

(47:42):
We pray a prayer of reparation, and we offer this
mystery in reparation to the sacred Heart. Most sacred Heart
of Jesus, have mercy on me. O, God, forgive me
for all the sins of my life, the sins of
my youth, the sins of my age, the sins of

(48:05):
my body, the sins of my soul, the sins I
have confessed, the sins I have forgotten, the sins against
others and thought, word and deed, and all of my
sins of a mission. Oh my God, I am sorry

(48:25):
for all my sins. Because you are so good. With
your help, I will not sin again. God, be merciful
to me a sinner. Divine Heart of Jesus, convert sinners,
save the dying, and deliver all the holy souls. Impurgatory. Amen.

(48:55):

and so that we can be consumed with a fire
of divine love. We pray with Saint Bernard of Clairvaux,
Oh savor of the world. I cry to you, Oh Savior,

(49:17):
suffering God, I worship you, O wounded, beauteous love. I
kneel to you. You know Lord how I would follow
you if of yourself you gave yourself to me, your presence,
I believe. Oh, come to me, behold me prostrate, Jesus,

(49:39):
look on me, how beautiful you are. Turn to me
in your tender mercy. Turn to me. Let your untold
pity pardon me. With trembling love and feet, I worship you.
I kiss the grievous nails that entered you, and I

(50:03):
think on those dire wounds which tortured you, and grieving,
I lift my weeping eyes to you, transfixed and dying,
all for love of me. Oh, wondrous grace, O gracious charity,
O love of sinners. In such agony, Sweet Father of

(50:25):
the poor, who can be unmoved to witness this great mystery?
The healer is smitten and hanging on a tree. Oh
gentle Jesus, turn you into unto me what I have broken.
Bind in me what is crooked. May you make straighten

(50:51):
me what I've lost? Restore unto me what is weak
and sickly. Please heal me, Oh Love, with all my strength,
I seek for you upon and in your cross. I
look for you with sorrow and hope. I turn to

(51:13):
you that through your blood new health may come to
me that washed therein your love, may pardon me. Take
my heart, you, loved one, Let it be transfixed with
those dear wounds for love of you, wounded Jesus, with

(51:36):
pure love of you, and let it be so crucified
with you that it may be forever joined with you.
