and we're going to be talking about the Philadelphia Flyers

(01:02):
twenty twenty five NHL drafts. What do you think, Parlo.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
I was It was an interest in draft, that's for sure.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yeah. The format wasn't maybe the best, but it was
interesting to see how this was interesting to see where
picks went. I think that's what I was most interested in,
what philosophy each team is going to have with their picks.
And it was interesting with philosophy, with philosophy Philadelphia did
kind of something that I think everybody was hoping they would.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Do, taking the words right out of my mouth. My man,
Holy moly.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Yeah, yeah, exactly, for sure, for sure.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Well, folks, I'll tell you what. Thank you all very

centric podcast, ranked number ten in all Philadelphia Flyers podcasts.
Thank you very kindly, thank you, thank you. So here
we go, folks, episode number one nine seven, number one
nine to seven. We're going to talk about a review
here of the Philadelphia Flyers twenty twenty five NHL draft,
and I had to bring in one of the experts,

(02:29):
of course, with Parlo and all of his great prognostications
and information he's got in the NHL just period. So,
by the way, check Perlo out with the ice guys.
You can check them out on YouTube and be sure
to follow them guys and see all the great stuff
that they're doing out there. Ranked the number one best

(02:53):
North American capper in the land. So you got to
go check them guys out. Ice Guys featuring the Great
Parlo Wisdom. So here we go, Man Philadelphia on the clock,
pick number six and they pick Porter Marton. Initial thoughts,

(03:17):
I love him.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
I mean I I thought I had him actually a
little higher. I thought somebody might reach out and reach
for him. I heard, you know, maybe not as physical
as Ka Chuck, but I've heard like stoneish type stuff
out of this. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, like Mark Stone
type kind of player, you know, not the fastest skatering world,

(03:40):
but really intelligent and uh slick passer, super good passer.
It reminds me of Stone, like I've watched him a
little bit. I don't know if he's ever gonna be
that good, but I'm just saying when I see him play,
he certainly has that because Stone's a great passer. She
seems to have that two way. Uh maybe not as

(04:01):
physical as like a lot of scouts would like to
see him, get a little fit, more physical maybe it's
not his natural way, but I thought it was at
that spot. I think he was the best player available
for sure.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Okay, so you you, and that is exactly what I believe,
Even what Danny Beer said in his press conference was
they were taking the best player available at that particular
point in time. And with the sixth overall pick and
Porter Martone is on the board, you gotta go for
that pick. You you, you, you would have to. You

(04:36):
would be foolish not to make that pick. Because he adds,
he checks off a lot of boxes for Philadelphia number one.
He could potentially be that one or two c okay,
which is what Philadelphia needs really, they really need now
a two see now with a Zegris trade and everything
else like that. But I think that Porter Marton can

(05:00):
that been sooner rather than later being that two or
even a three seed. He's got size, which is what
Philadelphia lacks down the middle. Okay, He's got that scoring,
natural scoring ability. The guy knows how to score goals. Okay,

(05:22):
It's been a really long time as far as I'm concerned,
that Philadelphia has been able to draft a guy who
is just that prolific at scoring goals. A finisher.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Yeah, I mean, and he's a playmaker though, Like he's
a hell of a good playmaker. So yeah, he's a
solid player, that's for sure, no doubt about it. Okay,
So now.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
We're going along and we see that, you know, Philadelphia
has got the twenty second pick and the thirty first
pick in the first and we're and we're seeing a
lot of we're seeing a lot of centers going off
the board here at the beginning of the of the
draft here in the first round, and we all thought, okay, well,
what is Philadelphia gonna do? What is Philadelphia gonna do? Well,

(06:14):
I'll tell you what they're gonna do. They're going to
trade their twenty second pick overall and their thirty first
pick overall to select at number twelve. Right, So they
moved up from twenty second, and then from thirty first,
they moved up to the twelfth pick to pick Nesbit. Okay,

(06:40):
and I gotta tell you something, man, out of the
windsor spitfires this guy. Everybody was like, who is this guy?
Where is this guy coming from? Because he wasn't even
projected until like third round, I think, right, So what
are your thoughts here on mister jack Nesbit.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
I had a lot of people putting them a lot
higher than the third round. Actually, maybe some might have
not been, but I I know I know scouts that
had him. He they definitely reached a little bit as
far as what I heard a lot of scouts did.
But he's that kind of guy that when that I

(07:28):
it depends on what people value. A lot of people
don't value third line centers very much, and that's likely
what he's going to be. But he's got second line
center upside. And I don't know, if you look at
championship teams that I've seen, they've had some. Back when
Tampa Bay was winning Cup, Sorelli was a third line center, right.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Florida had Lundell as their third line center. I can't
remember call it Molado's third line. I can't remember what
Colorado's third line. Oh yeah, yeah, when I'd have to look.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
At it, it wasn't Cadre when they won the Cup,
was it? I think it was?

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Yeah. Now, now they might be a little more offensive
than they're saying, nasibit is going to be, But like Londel,
Londell is just getting that the one time that they
they they they won the Cup, that he wasn't really
what he made it the finals two years ago. He
wasn't really putting up a lot of points. These are
just solid, big two way guys that every team needs

(08:38):
and some of that. Sometimes you have teams that are
so deep that you have a guy like him on
the fourth line. It's just because you're that deep, and
they are so valuable to have because when you got
that kind of depth, you're going to beat up on
a lot of teams. And this is something. This is
the kind of guy that I see Nasibd being because

(08:59):
he's one of those Eyasa can fill up and Nember Okay,
he's way bigger than Pagio. But yeah, Pragio, I mean
as far as how he was utilized in his prime,
he played second line, sometimes third line. You could put
him fourth line winge. I never complained. This is what

(09:21):
Nesbit reminds me of, doesn't. He's got great character. He'll
do whatever he wants for the team. He's not gonna
say I want to be a second linear, I want
to be this. He just wants to play and fill
in her role on the team.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
And that's what you said. The key word character character, Okay,
and and I think that's where we I think that's
what we're getting with Portmartone as well too, because this
kid had a poster of Claude Drew on his wall
when he was growing up.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
That's a good example of what he could be.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
Okay, right, you know, Okay.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
That's a really good example. He's more of a layer
that way, but he's got that same type of prototype exactly,
I could a really good example.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
But he's got a little bit more size Drew, right,
six three two four right, that's bigger than Drew. And
and I I don't know how the skater was, but
and he doesn't have quite the hands, but but but
but but he's got.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
The passing ability and he's and he's physical and all
of that. So yeah, yeah, yeah, I could see was
a good comparison.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
Aaight Okay, So uh with their other second round pick,
uh hm, they traded uh with Seattle. So they traded
thirty six back to thirty eight. So Seattle got the
thirty six pick and Philadelphia got the thirty eighth pick. Uh,
And they picked Carter Amico, a huge defenseman whom really

(11:01):
like this guy coming out of the United States National
Development Team. Oh my goodness, I like this guy's game.
He's a he's got some grit. He's not afraid to
put the gloves down. He's not afraid to stand up
to to to players that are coming in where they
shouldn't be. He's a great defensive player. He's a plus player.

(11:25):
So as far as I'm concerned, that's all good points
in my book.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
I mean, it seems like a lot of teams are
going for size there in Philadelphia. Certainly wasn't had no
short was was certainly on that probably more than anybody else.
Size was seemingly their biggest uh thing they wanted to
add to their to their lineup somewhere down down the

(11:53):
road and sooner. This just from what I've heard that
he's fairly raw. Yeah, but he's not a guy that's
going to be playing in like two years or something
like that, three years or something like that. But and
and he was kind of he had a knee injury,

(12:13):
and I think that what I heard is if he
would have played a full season, he could have he
could have easily been a pick up there in the
first round.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Yeah, but he's got pretty he's got good mobility for
a big man, and that's what everybody. That's what I've
heard most people like about him, the guy, that one
guy that came up. But if they think he's even
more physical than him, that they that I've heard him
be compared to as far as stylistically, is good brandson. Okay, Yeah,

(12:52):
so that's one thing. That's one name that kid that
came out from from this guy. But like you Sai, yeah,
he'll he'll drop him. He's like, he's got that old
school mentality. He's not afraid to not afraid to drop him.
We need got more, not just in Philadelphia but in
the game itself, by the way.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
But he's also got that size as well too, because
he's he's a he's a presence on the you know
what I mean, right, six six pounds Okay, all right,
all right, by the way, just want to say this,
and it was something that I noticed because you mentioned
it earlier, almost exclusively. In the second and third round,

(13:34):
I think there was no player that was selected that
was under six foot.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Through all the all the draw, through all the teams.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
Yeah, for just like the second and third round, I
think there was a couple of guys that went in
the first round, A couple of guys that went in
some of the other rounds, but I think there was
like two rounds there consecutive where there wasn't a player
that wasn't selected that was under six foot. And Philadelphia
definitely was following that mantra throughout this entire draft. Every

(14:06):
single one of their players, with the exception of two players, okay,
are all above six foot or massively above six foot.
Are either above two hundred pounds or close to two
hundred pounds for the most part. Okay. All you have
to do is just like what Perlo said, look at

(14:28):
Tampa Bay when they were winning Cups. Look at Florida
now that they've been winning Cups two in a row.
Look at when Colorado was winning a cup. Right, All
you have to do is look at that. And what
do they have is up the middle?

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Yeah, all right, there s guys up the middle of
a good two way guys. Yeah, that's the way to.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
Go exactly, and some good defense that play defense.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
First.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
I don't care if my defensive guys aren't scoring forty
goals a game or forty goals a year, okay, as
long as they're in the plus okay, and as long
as they're helping out with some assists. I don't care
how many goals they have, right, as long as they're
plus and as long as they're playing defense. Hey, that's
what they're there for. Amy, It's just me, all right. Sorry.

(15:15):
With the fortieth pick, the Philadelphia Flyers did a little
bit of fan dangling trading there with Anaheim again because
they traded and got the They traded the forty fifth
pick away in this year's draft for the Trevor Zegres
and the Poeing and then they finagled and got the
fortieth pick from Anaheim, I guess or something like that.

(15:40):
I don't know, but they ended up with Jack mertall
left winger from the United States Development Team, six to one,
one hundred and ninety eight pounds. I mean, I really
like this kid's game. I think, like you say, when
you start getting kids drafted this late in the you know,
second third rounds two three years away. But I you know,

(16:02):
I still like this kid's game. I still think he's
going to be a good asset to the team.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
Murdtog is a guy that I heard could have slipped
into the first There was a lot of scouts that
I saw on the board that really liked him in
the first.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
Round overall, I mean second round, so fortieth overall, but
I'm feeling you though, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Yeah, it's fortieth all overall. I mean really things can
like it's not that much of a difference there, but
as far as forty to thirty or whatever the case
may be. But I heard somewhere some some scouts have
him like twenty five, twenty six, something like that. They
really like, they really liked his skills for a big man,

(16:49):
as simple as that. He's probably probably project, you know,
more of a bottom six type guy. But he's probably
a safer pick than a lot of a lot of
picks that you could get in the d at here.
He's one of the safer guys more than likely gonna
be a gonna make it to the fourth line somewhere
and some some on some team in his career. That's

(17:09):
what I've heard.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Okay, So all right.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
He's got a really high he doesn't have a high ceiling,
but he's got a high floor. Like with you, he's
the type of guy that he well for his work.
Ethic is unreal. He just he's driven, he's doesn't he's
clean living, and he's focused on making the NHL and

(17:37):
he doesn't let too much get in his way of it.
And those guys are wonderful to have because they usually
have a pretty good flour floor. Because if you have
a guy like that and somebody else has equal talent,
but they're like kind of more aloof, You're probably gonna
take him because he's gonna be You're probably gonna have
him on your team because he's going to be a
better example for for young players that are trying to

(17:59):
take exactly that's what I've heard about him. He's like,
he's the example guy you want on your team if
you can make it.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
He's the kind of guy that's gonna go through the
brick wall for you. Yeah, true, that that's that. Yeah,
And I think that's a I think you you explained
it perfectly. Parlo. Okay, So Danny wasn't done here. In
the second round, picked up Shane Van Sagi from Michigan
State six' three, man two d and twelve pounds a.

(18:28):
Forward what CAN i say about this? Guy that this,
GUY i think he was projected to go a little,
HIGHER i think than what he did get. To BUT
i think this is another value pick because of him
slipping a little bit and then being one of the

(18:49):
better safer picks to get at that. SPOT i really
think that was a good deal for them because they
also did a trade With calgary to get to that
spot there at forty. Eight.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Yeah, YEAH i like the fact that he's A finn
to tell, you that's. Truth that. Finished, seriously That finish
group right, now the way they're bringing up, players they're
coming in, with they're coming in with a lot of,
passion they're coming in with a with a good mindset

(19:23):
and uh a grindy type. Game even when when you
Play finland in any uh any, international you're you're you're
in for a. Fight they might have as much, talent
but you're in for a. Fight you're finish. Games you
don't see too many times that The finns get beat
out like five to one or six to, one you,

(19:44):
know even against much uh much better talent or at
least on paper, Anyways like they may not, win but you're.
Not you're not in.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
For a you're gonna limp away from that.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
Game, yeah, yeah you're Gonna you're gonna know you play the.
Game they're. Gamers, yeah and so getting somebody this high
at what fifty points and forty one games for For
lonz's under twenty junior. Team, yeah that's at this at
one thirty. TOO i honestly don't know much about the

(20:17):
whole player, himself but that's pretty high point total for
a guy who did that well against the under. Twenties
AND i do know that under twenty the junior, team
LIKE i, said that's the way they. WORK i DON'T
i think to, them then there's no passengers on That
finniss finished team if no matter, what so more than

(20:38):
likely this is one of those guys in a sort
of a theme With philadelphia, here they're looking for what's
something like you mentioned About, Florida they're looking for that
level of compete and and and uh more than anything right,
NOW i think that's What philadelphia is looking, for is

(21:00):
because with the guys that they picked, here this is
what likely what you're. Getting if you're not going to
be the most talented, guy you're going to. Compete, okay, okay, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
Now now the last pick that they had in the second,
round which was another multi, tree multi team trade That
Danny brier pulled off here to get another second. Rounder
so he still got, one, two, three four picks in
the second. Round, okay even though one was traded To

(21:30):
anaheim For, zegus he's still got four. Picks this was
the last of the second round for The. Flyers Matthew,
Guard canadian From Red deer THE whl six foot, five
ninety one hundred and ninety five pounds center and following
the same mantra, here big, size but this guy can,

(21:55):
skate this guy can. Score, okay a lot of, guys
a lot of PEOPLE i think saw him sooner than
where he was. Selected SO i, think once, Again, perla
we're looking at another player here that maybe the best
available player at the.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
Moment, yeah And i'll tell you there's another thing about this.
KIDD i don't. KNOW i, MEAN i think he's pretty,
raw But i'm usually they are in these. Spots but
one THING i can say about him for sure is
he's From, Winnipeg. Manitoba and just LIKE i was saying

(22:40):
about The, fins you watch Those Western, James, yeah you,
know AND i my parents are From. Manitoba my, guess
my guess is likelihood he comes from a farmer's, Background
like this is all He they are looking for, work
ethic and grind in all of these players right, now

(23:03):
they go on gay guy Like. Zris they have some
guys on their team that are more, uh you, know
skill and not really PiZZ BUT i think they're looking
for guys to be able to push the compete in
This philadelphia. TEAM i. Agree if you're bringing in somebody Like,
zerrus it's not somebody that has been known to push

(23:24):
the compete in his. Career he's been a little, immature
and so you got to have a. Mix you gotta
have a, mix and you bring in guys like this
that are going to put even if they don't make the,
team they're going to push the compete for whoever's gonna
have to take them, out and you know, what culture
to the. Organization SO i think that's kind of what

(23:45):
they're going. Here AND i worked on the rigs In
manitoba AND i worked with a lot of farmers minus,
forty which is the same In, fahrenheit believe it or. Not,
yeah up on a, stick wet, grinding middle of a,
field wind and. Everything AND i worked with some of
these guys and there's some of the toughest MOTHERS i ever.

(24:06):
SAW i was not as tough as. Them the only
reason WHY i didn't complain is because they would beat me.
Silly that's the only they. Were so that's the kind
of kind of told the attitude you getting, there and
that's what it's all. About and those are always.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
Good and you touched on it with some of the
other players That philadelphia has has also, drafted and it's.
Character AND i think that's exactly what's going on here
because of the AND i think this is a very
indicative of the coach that they just hired now With
rick talking where you're starting to get more of these

(24:50):
type character type, guys where you're starting to get more
of the larger guys because you can't field an entire
team of diminutive players and expect to be successful when
the league is fielding guys that can just smother. Them,

(25:10):
yeah you know WHAT i. Mean and so you have
to get away from The, okay it's okay to have
one or two guys that are you, know sub six,
foot but one or two guys maybe you know WHAT i.
Mean and you especially don't want to have defensemen that
are you, know, diminutive, RIGHT i mean not in this.
League you just it's a hard sell for.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
That depends on like somebody Like hudson maybe you, know
you got those extreme talent.

Speaker 3 (25:39):
Guys but but that's WHAT i. Mean they they went
and you, Know philadelphia did. IT i, yeah there's all you,
know it's going to be a speedier type game when
they started drafting smaller guys and where are they?

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Not they're, not they're, not they're. Not well even you
Know frost kids got. Talent but you, know.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
SO i think what happened was is that they wanted
to try to get speedier, guys but they didn't have
a coach who had a system that was able to
utilize those speedier guys in a in a system that
made them successful Because tortorella's system is not necessarily built
on the speediest guys right, Where which is kind of

(26:25):
ironic BECAUSE i think now That tacket's in and he
has more of the dump and, chase and you need
more of those speedier guys because you need guys to
be able to win the race of the. Puck so
this all all the, way all the way, SAID i
think this is going to be very interesting to see
how these these draft picks pan, out you know WHAT i,

(26:45):
mean and where they land and everything else like That
philadelphia's had three or three more extra, picks two in
the fifth, Round Max, Westergard Luke vloswick AND uh around
they Had Nathan, quinn. Respectively LIKE i, said all the
way through THE uh parallel what what would you give

(27:08):
the grade here on on the on the flyers as
far as their draft so far just on paper of
what what what we've seen so?

Speaker 2 (27:15):
Far, yeah it's tough to say with these, kids but,
UH i, mean let's put it this. Way if if
WHAT i think is correct and their philosophy was to
do AND i, said What i'm thinking their philosophy, was,
yeah give them. ALL i think it's good for a
team to go in with the philosophy of what you

(27:36):
need and what you want to put, on what you
want your culture.

Speaker 1 (27:39):
To be exactly for your.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Team and WHAT i like about it, is LIKE i,
said if some of these, kids a lot of these
kids may not make, it but they are going to
be fighting for. Spots and if they, may they may
see something in their system where they're like going INTO
uh training camps and they don't like to, compete you.
Know so if these kids, aren't they're going to be

(28:01):
competing all of most of the kids we just talked.
About that would be like the theme through the whole.
Thing these kids are. Competitors, yeah they're going to go
in and they're going to, fight and they're going to
try to get their. Spots so nobody's gonna nobody's going
to be getting floated to spot In. Philadelphia and so
if that was their, philosophy AND i think they, are

(28:22):
and you're more you're probably more in tune with what
it was to begin with in the draft and, That
i'd SAY i would give them AN. A AND i
really Love Porta. MARTAU i liked him BEFORE i had
him higher than. THAT i liked him better Than. HAGEN'S
i would have taken him Over.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
Hagen's so, wow, okay well you heard it here first
Folks parlow wisdom with his little nuggets of wisdom, there,
man he would. First so all, right, HONESTLY.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
I wouldn't have taken him. First, OVERALL i would have
Taken boston To. Hagens, yeah SO i would have taken.
Them IF i was, BOSS i would have Took.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Martin yeah, YEAH i. See, well, well thank You boston
for not taking him, in thank you for Taking. Hagen
so you know we're going to be Seeing hagen's eventually
at some, point you know WHAT i. Mean, so But
i'll tell you, what Uh, PARLO i have to. AGREE
i give the flyers an a as. WELL i do

(29:25):
Like Porter, MARTONE i do Like Jack, NESBIT i do
Like Carter. Amico even though he's, RAW i still like
even though you said he doesn't necessarily have that high high,
ceiling he does have a really high. Floor and all
of these guys are character. Guys all of these guys
are bigger than six. Foot all of these guys are

(29:46):
more than one hundred and eighty six, pounds you know
WHAT i. Mean, so besides the depth of centers and,
wingers a couple of defensemen sprinkled in. THERE i was
very shocked that they didn't take a goaltender in this.
One but, OKAY i guess they're gonna try to get

(30:07):
Uh bjornson a little bit more. TIME i really hope they,
do BECAUSE i. Would WHAT i think is gonna happen
is he's probably gonna take over there in In lehigh
and play a majority of the time down there Because
philadelphia is gonna roll With erson uh and fidotof as
far as goaltending is, concerned AND i think you're gonna

(30:30):
see Uh bjornson down there in uh In lehigh for this.
Year he'll it would be nice if they could do
that and get him some playing time Because peterson is
now finally out down there In, lehigh so that'll get
that'll slot him in there as well. Too SO i
like that down. There but ALTHOUGH i give it an, A,

(30:53):
pearlo you gave it an a as, well, right, yeah all.
RIGHT i think that's a pretty good deal. THERE i
think that's a pretty good assessment of what The Philadelphia flyers
were able to do in the twenty twenty FIVE Nhl. Draft,
pearlo you had mentioned at the beginning of the show the.
FORMAT i gotta be honest with, YOU i am not
a fan of the format at.

Speaker 3 (31:14):
ALL i.

Speaker 1 (31:17):
Really missed the every single general manager getting, up especially
in the first, round every general manager getting up along
with all the whole rest of the team getting up
there and thanking the host, city and then everybody cheering
and then saying thank you To Gary, bettman and then everybody,
booing and then you, know, yeah. No but WHAT i really, missed,

(31:40):
though was the the pomp and circumstance of the team
announcing the, picks and then the player going up on
stage and getting the jersey from the, team you, know
and the hugs from the, team and then the picture
and then everybody, leaves you know WHAT i. Mean like
this whole thing felt very. Forced this whole thing felt very,

(32:07):
unorganic very just like you're forcing these guys into talking about,
stuff AND i just didn't like.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
It it was supposed to shorten. It, well, no certainly did.
Not SO i don't think it hit any of the
check marks that they were hoping, for except for the
fact that a lot of the big wigs got to
stay home and didn't have to. Commit but, HONESTLY i
think the reason why it happened more than, anything and
they WON'T i don't even think they were confident it

(32:35):
was gonna. Work BUT i think they had so much
work on that four nations and there was all and
that four nations thing THAT i think they just wanted
to make it easier to not have to organize all
that stuff at the.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
Draft it's, possible but the logistics to organize what they
had to do for this one WAS i think even
more so than what they would have had to have
done if they brought everybody, in, right because they had
to have all the zoom. Calls, yeah because they had
to have all the zoom calls set up for all
the teams and stuff like. That they they built they
had that whole separate room where they could go in

(33:09):
for their zoom call interview after they get drafted and
all that. Stuff you know WHAT i. Mean it just it's.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
What they're doing it, again there's no way the.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
Public so in the in the in the press conference
that led up to the, draft where they were talking
about how they were announcing that the Collective Bargaining agreement
was going to be ratified and signed probably in the
next couple of. Days and in that press, conference and
and and And Gary bettman even said too that majority

(33:44):
of ownership voted for the draft to be done this
way this. Year so two thirds of ownership voted for
this draft to be set up like this for this.
Year so that's why they did. It he, said if
they come back to him next year and, say, yeah
we wanted to go back to the it, Was he'll
go back to the woods.

Speaker 2 (34:04):
Like. People but to be in case on his decisions
he pretty much works the. OWNERS i want to say
we're having an. Expansion you're on an. Expansion you think
people two three billion molished sort of fresh. Eyes but
it'll be, like oh, yeah do whatever you want.

Speaker 4 (34:18):
There that's enough time On twitter and plus NH l p.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
Oh that's people to give my. YouTube you can get
The Ice guys show When i'm doing the. Show you
can get on my chalk and this covid just have fun.
Discussing LIKE i just gave the to. BE i, MEAN
i prefer you don't have to tell you stuff that
you AND i will.

Speaker 4 (34:46):
Listen and he stood out and be ready to get
it

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
