I'm running at like, I don't know, maybe fifty PC.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Shout out to Felicia in the in the chat, Tyler's
not with us today. He's fine, He's just got some ship.
He's got to do so he'll be back next week.
But we didn't have a podcast last week Loving Black
and White or HWP because I I had, I had.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
I went to d C to do cancer benefit.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Then I was there for a day after and then
I went to Minnesota.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Yeah, so, dude, have you been to d C.

Speaker 5 (01:54):
It's been a while since I was. I was in
d C, so I'm sure things have changed dramatically since. Yeah,
things have changed dramatically.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
That you said, chraged, things have raged dramatically. Wake up,
Wake up, man. We we got mints. Well I know,
I know.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Uh yeah, so that was it was my first time
in Washington, d C. And uh, it's it's just it's
like I have a different life now after losing the weight,
because like, uh, before when I would go to places,
I you know, I would just stay in the room
for the most part, or I maybe i'd go see

(02:34):
a movie. But now I'm like, you know, let's go
fucking check out the city. Let's I'm all down for
walking around. Like I fucking I went like twenty two
miles when I was in d C. I mean some
of it was on the Lime scooter, but.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
But you got around.

Speaker 5 (02:51):
But yeah, to your point, I mean That's that's what
we're supposed to be doing.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
We're supposed to be living.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
We go, we have a good job, we we get
we have the opportunity to go visit other cities and
different cities every month. Uh so when you get to
go to those cities, man, it's great to get out
and see things and learn things and try to figure
out if there that building is a television studio. I mean,
it's a it's a lot that you're supposed to that
will never.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Not be funny to me.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Hey, this is a TV studio, this random building here, Like,
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (03:23):
See how you learned more about other cities than the
city that you actually lived here?

Speaker 1 (03:26):
He said, I probably know more about d C.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Well now, because I mean I I know, Like I mean,
all I did is I would walk up to something
and then I would read it. But uh, now you know,
it's a trip being in d C. Like because I
went to the Lincoln Memorial, the Reflecting Pool, the Washington Monument,
and and the White House. I said, I said, Carlos,
a picture of me and the White House. Now the picture,

(03:52):
I'm like, I'm just taking the picture like like you know,
like a selfie or the White House is behind me,
and there's you know, there's all these bars. But I
used Google, well my pixel to remove all the bars.
And Carlos is like, why does this picture look like
you can just walk up into the White House?

Speaker 1 (04:08):
So I sent him the other one. I'm down, Felicia,
I'm down.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
You can tell me where we should uh where the
places we should go?

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Walking around at.

Speaker 5 (04:18):
Probably know Felicia probably knows where to go outside of
one spot. Let's see, you know, Felicia, I'm gonna tell
you something. Wherever you are, I recommend that you know
the actual streets or how to get there, or maybe
what you're looking at before.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
What do you mean? What do you mean one spot?

Speaker 2 (04:41):
We went to Fenway, We went to Faniel Hall, we
went to uh.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Do to you know, I'm not done.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
I wasn't done with where we went. We went into
Southee for the capos. Then we went to another part
of Southee for the parade. We also went to the Common.
So we went to quite quite a few places.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
You know. We were at the seaport. Where was that?
Oh that's where we were fucking staying. It was in
the seaport.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
Oh that that what that's called Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
But dude, what I was gonna say, though, that was
a trip about DC is like walking once I got
you know, I took a Lime scooter from my hotel
to down to like the Lincoln Memorial. Then I walked
Lincoln Memorial to the Washington Monument and then uh, then
took a scooter over to the White House. But it's
a trip, like you you can feel like, uh, there's

(05:39):
just an energy to me, there's felt like there's an
energy in in the area that there's so much dirt
being done. It's just a trip, you know how Like
I mean, as comics, I think we read off or
feed off of energy or can read energy pretty good.
And uh, that's just what I kept kept feeling. Yeah, yeah,
he has thrown me under the b Felicia. He was

(06:00):
trying to do it in Boston, but my girl Jojo
had my back. Joanne, the manager at Laft Boston.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
I mean, he said exactly what I said. But oh man, yeah,
it's a lot. It's a lot of dirty.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Man. It's just a dirty, dirty ass city. And I
ain't talking about.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
The Clinton this s right, people within there who work there,
who run this country.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
It's just the vibe.

Speaker 5 (06:29):
I can only imagine what the vibe and I can
only imagine what the vibe is like now even more
so now, Well.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
When I went to the White House, there's a bunch
of protesters. I mean there was protesters right in front
of it, and then like right next to it, there
was like a park that there was a bunch of protesters.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
There was all kinds of protesters, which is interesting because
well obviously neither one of us.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
I don't think it was in in DC during the
Barack Obama era. I wonder how often that was going
on then, too, because that that would that would give
me some kind of idea of does.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Thisition happen all the time?

Speaker 5 (07:02):
Is this normal or is it just heightened now because
of the situation we're he in?

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Dude, can I tell you I miss President Obama as
I mean, like, what a great representative for our country,
and oh god, I miss him.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
Here's what's even cranzy, I miss him and I ain't
gonna even lie.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
I almost miss Bush now, you know, George George w Right.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Yeah, he's it's almost like he became more popular out
of office, you know, which I think a lot a
lot of presidents that can happen, but yeah, it's I've
also seen like some videos like he gave a very
nice speech when Obama and it was Bush was there,
Clinton was there, and I think there's another president former

(07:57):
president that was there and George US gave a very
nice speech where he's like, we want you to be
so successful and uh, it's you know, we just want
the country to be successful. And you know, it's very
you know, very nice. And then like the friendship him
and Michelle seems to have.

Speaker 5 (08:13):
Made, you know, it's a Yeah, I think that that
speaks to the heart of yeah politics, everybody's not going
to agree and that's I mean, that's why they have
two sides.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
If everybody agreed, then it'd be one thing.

Speaker 5 (08:24):
So but you can also do that diplomatically where you're
like listen, man, once, once I'm out and you in,
then if we're doing the America thing, then I have
to support you. If you're doing it in a in
a diplomatic way.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
I don't know how to say that. Yeah, Yeah, it's weird.

Speaker 5 (08:43):
Nobody fucks with this current dude, like none of them,
Like it doesn't make sense. It doesn't even his former
vice president, Oh, don't talk to him at all.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
Yeah, you know that's that's a sign of something being off. Yeah, dude,
it's uh, it's that why would you do that?

Speaker 2 (09:06):
Also, when I was in DC for the benefit, I
got to uh, I got to work with Tony Woods,
who I I never met or knew Tony Woods or
or worked with him before. For those that don't know,
like Dave Chappelle, he said he was kind of like
a mentor to him.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Is that right? Yeah? And uh.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Yeah, and I mean very very nice dude. But it
was just it was a it was a trip. Like
you know, you hear all these stories about uh, so Jay,
you went to the protest that black was going to
sit out on that. Wait, I went to the protest
that black was going to sit out on. I don't
know what that means, Felicia, what does that mean?

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Yeah? I'm black and I don't know what that means.
I don't black were talking about like what you to the.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Protest that black women was going to sit out on?

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Wait? Is that what it is? Is it? Black women? Oh?
Black women?

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Okay, I went to the protests that black women were
gonna sit out on.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
I don't know what protest it was, and I didn't
I didn't go to the protest. I just went to
the White House and there was a protest going on
and I just kind of was like, all right, I
get it, and then just fucking kept it pushing. I
was trying to get as many sights in during the
short amount of time as possible, you know, I know,
I just like walked by fucking middle finger.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
To the fucking Trump. Uh. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
And and Tony, Uh, Tony said I was the Larry
Bird of com me because I was on the show.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Is the only white dude, and he's like, motherfucker lair bird,
mother lair bird here.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
Very nice guy. Yeah, very very nice dude. And uh.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
And then after DC, I so I did the the
cancer benefit show was Wednesday, Thursday, I had off and
I stayed in DC because I'd never been so I
wanted to check it out. And then Friday went to Minnesota,
Saint Paul, Minnesota to do a club I'd never done
before called laugh Camp in Saint Paul. And shows were

(11:20):
great and the Friday shout out to Elizabeth and Lily
who hosted and featured, and also Tito who was which
I'll tell you about Tito here in a second, Yes,
black man went on strike, no protesting for us, got
you okay, understood, Felicia. And so just to go back, No,
I did not go to the protest that black women

(11:40):
were sitting out on. I just went to the White
House and there happened to be and then I saw
the protest and I was like, wait, there's no black
women here. So I said fuck this protest and I left.
But yeah, so Thursday, or excuse me, Friday, after my
show in Saint Paul, I only had one show and
Lily was telling me Lily was featuring, and Lily said,

(12:03):
uh yeah, they have an open mic over at the
comedy Corner. Underground is the name of the little club,
and uh I was like, fuck, I'm in. I want
to do it.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
And so Lily gave me a ride over there, met
some of.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
The local comics, did my my open mics or did
you know? Did the open mic, and then I met Tito,
who gave me a ride back to the hotel and uh,
I told Tito come back Saturday. I'll give him a
guest spot. So he came Saturday, did a guest spot.
Everybody did great, and uh yeah, it was fun and
I got two fucking clips off of it, which I posted. Uh, dude,

(12:39):
that one's got like ten thousand view I just posted yesterday.
It's got ten thousand views on TikTok.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
Uh it happens like that. It was the s one,
the one where the fucking lady I was doing it backwards.
But yeah, it was. It was good shows. It was uh,
it was good shows.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
And uh yeah, I'm fucking and and this week I'm
I'm going out to San Diego for Mike Drop one
night and I'm gonna celebrate Hillary's birthday out there, Hillary
from Mike Drop.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
The owner and Time family. Yeah. And where are you
this weekend? I am in Mantica. What thanks to you? Thanks?

Speaker 2 (13:21):
No, no, no, no, no, now funk all that man
t You're at Deaf Puppy Great Comedy Club.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (13:28):
So I'm with Paula Shore Thursday and then fly out
Friday to uh Mantica to headline.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
That for three shows.

Speaker 5 (13:35):
I'm looking forward to it because I was on the
show last night at La Comedy Club. I was hosting
eight o'clock and I haven't done seven minutes in so
long now, which which feels weird to say that but
I think I'm being phased out of the hosting for
that particular show because you know, it's seven minutes, so

(13:56):
uh man, I felt like I was like, yeah, let
me get I got a yeah, like, it's only seven minutes,
so it's weird to to do to a bit in
that spot.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
But it went well, it went well.

Speaker 5 (14:09):
But that's literally I know that things are getting better
now because I only had time to do one bit,
Like ah right, okay, all right, yeah this is nice.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
Uh they'll still probably you on the sixth though, they're
probably gonna.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
Oh yeah, no, we do fifteen, fifteen to twenty minutes this, so,
which is which is great again because you can mix it,
mix and match sets when when I'm doing that, but yeah,
seven minutes, man, now it's like Jesus, that's thirty seconds.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
For like thirty seconds, you're already giving me the light
and then a trip, like you know, when you're coming
up all your you're.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
Like, fuck, man, I don't have enough time, and you're like, I.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Just wish I had longer bits, and then then when
you get there, you're like, fuck man, I wish I
had just shorter bits. I wish it was like a
one Lner comment, right, just uh wrap these one liners.

Speaker 5 (15:02):
But I am looking forward to this weekend to kind
of stretch and just be be present. I think that
we've talked about that on umous of the cases, just
with regards to not on the.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
Comedy, just in life.

Speaker 5 (15:12):
Man. It's just trying to be more present, which is
which is a struggle and I ain't gonna sit down.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
It's a struggle, person, It's a struggle. But we're gonna.
We're gonna do it. Man, have a good time.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
Yeah, I I dude, I started, Angel and I we
started we're doing walks at night now, walking the dogs,
you know, part for them, part for us, you know.
And uh and I uh.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
Last night it was raining. Angel is like, no, I'm
gonna pass.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
So I just amari grabbed Thor and then I got
a new attachment for the the leash that so that
the dogs because before they'll fucking just all the chords
get wrapped up. But now this thing that like separates
them and it doesn't ever wrap up. So we had
to test take it on test drive last night worked great.
So so right after this, I'm gonna go do the walk.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
Angel and I. It's one leash but it has the
split outs.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
It has it's an attachment that goes on a leash
and it, yeah, it rotates and it so it never
will tangle, Okay. Yeah, And so they're just fucking running
side by side, those little fuckers.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
I love those little dogs. Little Pet's help. They are soothing,
they are they are soothing. What else? What else is new?
What else? What happened with you last week? My man?

Speaker 5 (16:31):
Listen we out here that we briefly started talking about
it before we got on the podcast. By man, just
just being happy, not not content, because you know they're
there are things too to still accomplished.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
But like last week, man, it's interesting. I'm looking at
the calm. Well that was the end of.

Speaker 5 (16:51):
April, and it's interesting how just just trying to stay
positive and not worry and just be like, hey, man,
just stay stay the course. So last month I think
I had maybe five actual book shows on the calendar
and wind it up with twenty seven at the end
of the month. So I'm like, yeah, that's a that's
a nice come up, especially like last weekend. Man, I

(17:12):
was busy from the beginning to end one weekend before,
not this past weekend, because it's past weekend, I sat
around and drink wet wine.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
In my silk rose. Are you a big a wine
drinker or a fan of wine? No, I just I
don't know.

Speaker 5 (17:30):
This weekend I was like, I had a slow weekend,
so I was like, man, I think I told you
that before.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
It's like, I needed to.

Speaker 5 (17:36):
Get me some some glasses, some actual glasses here because
it's just me. So I don't, you know, I don't
think about shit. You don't need when ain't nobody.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Else coming over.

Speaker 5 (17:44):
But I was like, man, I need to give me
some nice wine glasses.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
So I went and got me some wine glasses.

Speaker 5 (17:49):
I was like, well, now I got to have some wine.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
I've like, are you pretty knowledgeable about wine or are
you new?

Speaker 1 (17:58):
Okay? So I just read I'm probably worse than you.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
I I'm not a fan of wine, like I think
as far as red wine, like, I think it's like
the room temperature thing.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
I'm not. I don't like, it's just nasty to me.

Speaker 5 (18:15):
But I think, well, of course that's I think that's
more for the the wine connoisseurs. They have debates on
whether it should be chilled or room temperature. But I
chilled mine. I mean I don't want to drink no
no room temperature as red wine. Okay, I'm rich that
I'm saying, hey, man, you serve it up the way

(18:36):
you serve it.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
I mean, well, if you're rich, you'd be like, get
whatever the funk I want.

Speaker 5 (18:42):
But I want to see what it must be a
different level of taste when when you let it marinate
in the room temperature, the room temperature when you have
three million dollars in your bank account, it's just great.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
It's But at the same time, I know a lot
of people fucking do not like the taste of guinness,
which I love guinness, but uh so I get it,
but it just I don't know if it's the room
temperature thing or what I mean, or the just the
taste itself.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
But I don't know. What I got was actually pretty
good because you know, I didn't like.

Speaker 5 (19:20):
The tartness of red wine. Uh that's that's always been
a deterrent for me. If fe Lisa said, and the
older you get, the more you know she likes wine.
I get it, but it's it's I think it was
that tartness of red wine. It's always kind of been
the deterrent for me. But this one is not the
one I got is not it's not overly tart.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
And yeah, these sports have drink one glass of red
wine a day actually helps your body. This one I
have heard that.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
I also, this is crazy they I don't know if
they still do, but they used to in Ireland. They
used to prescribe to pregnant women. One plaint to Guinness
a day because of all like the nutrients and everything
in the Guinness.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
So that's interesting. Yeah, that's interesting.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
Maybe maybe he's like and fucking hammers.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
Dude, it's a it's a trip.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
I also, I I say you, I just want because
it is the most motivating video I sent it to you.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
You an Sean h is.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
That video of the of the coach the teddy Atlas
telling the guy on the corner about the fireman.

Speaker 5 (20:35):
I don't think I saw it. It was that in
the mix of all of the other foolishness that you.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
Say it may have been so I okay, So if
you're new to the podcast, uh, my algorithm is fucking
built brick by brick, real by real some of the
craziest ship and it seems like it the later it
gets the most more insane it gets. But so I send,

(21:00):
I send Carlos and Sean, Uh these reels that are
just that.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
If out of order, out of order, and if.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
If some of I and actually I don't even send
you some of the worst ones, which is crazy, imagine dude.
And I'm like, if somebody ever saw like the videos
that I save or that even some of the ones
I send to you guys canceled immediately. But uh yeah,
so Teddy, I'll send it to you. I'll re send

(21:34):
it to you on just to you. But uh, I'm
gonna I'm gonna start watching it like on those So
Carlos and I, you know, we do so many shows together,
whether here in Vegas or out on the road or whatever,
whether I'm opening for him or he's open for me
or whatever. Uh that like Carlo, we kind of know
each other sets, and we kind of know each other's

(21:54):
like moods or whatever. And I've I've told Carlos this
and he's seen it that when I'm I'm tired dealing
with Heckler's is it's a lot different when I'm dealing
with a Hecker Heckler if I'm tired versus dealing with
a heckler where I'm nice, nicely rested. What up, Derek
shout out to Derek from the Naturals podcast.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Sweet sweet Derek.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
But uh yeah, if I'm tired and I have to
deal with somebody heckler, it's I don't really worry about
keeping it light or funny. I'm more angry, whereas if
I'm rested, I can keep it light and whatever. But
this video, I'm gonna watch this, uh before i go
on stage if I'm tired. So there's Teddy Atlas is

(22:37):
talking to his fighter. His fighter is in the corner,
you know, it's in between rounds, and I guess this
fighter is losing, and Teddy Atlas is fucking screaming at
him and he's like.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
You feel that, you feel that fire? What do we do?

Speaker 2 (22:49):
We're firemen, We control that fire, we use that fire.
We're fireman, dude. It's fucking it gives me chills just
even like it's and it's so fucking motivating that that
I've saved that now and I'm gonna watch that anytime
I'm feeling tired or whatever, because I'm dude, I'm ready
to run through a fucking wall after I watch that ship.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
It's so you want to watch it now?

Speaker 2 (23:12):
Okay, I'll bring it up, bring it up, we can,
we can watch it.

Speaker 5 (23:18):
But I mean, that's not that's those things help. That's
