happy to having me do your favor. For those that are not media with
the Pink and Black Honors, justgive us a short to the point rundoubt
(07:06):
of what the Pink and Black Honorsis. Man. The Pink and Black
Honors is a premier time awards gala. Man. We're hosting it on June
the tenth down at Severn Tall. What we want to do is really highlight
the importance of entrepreneurship, specifically throughoutthe black and brown community. So we
actually started out with wanting to honortwenty five honorees, but as we were
(07:30):
in it, Man, it justcontinued to grow and expand. So we
went from twenty five to thirty five. But we were like, listen,
we gotta stop it right here. It's the very first annual. But what
we're doing is we're honoring thirty fiveentrepreneurs throughout the city of Greater Cleveland,
Man, that are just doing doingphenomenal things, Man, that are being
creative, that are giving back, that are aligning with the community, that
are providing opportunities and jobs and spacesfor people to you know, showcase what
(07:55):
it is that God has given them. And yeah, so like I said
on June the tenth Um John atSeverance Hall, that's what we're doing.
We got some really really special guestsus coming here UM to help us honor
actually will be honoring uh my manJeff Brown, who were on the show
with right now. I'm so excited. It's so happy about me just just
(08:18):
one of many well deserving people whowill be UM focusing on the highlighting on
on that on that evening. So, like I said, Junior tenth six
o'clock Severance Hall, Man, youguys definitely want to be there. A
Peka Black Honors dot com. It'swhere you can go to get a little
bit more information. But I knowthat Will will kind of delve a little
bit into it here as we goalong. Absolutely, and uh want to
(08:39):
talk a little bit about to Norathe visionary and and how how did that
connection happen with you and her andhow did this all come about? Absolutely,
man, listen to Nora Mia,the founder, the visionary um of
this entire concept. Actually I'm metMan at my at my job because the
(09:01):
way all relationship is, it's it'sso close knit and and we've just been
able to build a really phenomenal relationshipthrough mentorship, through her seeing you know,
potential in me and really wanting topush me. That's really the whole
heart of this entire event is youknow, honoring entrepreneurs and honor and creativity
that's within people. And man,she saw me at my job. I'm
(09:22):
a banker. I work with CitizensBank actually, and then one day just
doing her thing and she sat downin my It's so funny because we had
a mixer event here recently, umdown and created a space with Asia Chowders
um uh Over and Willowick um soBig Shop. We had a wonderful opportunity
to just get everybody together and justkind of, you know, so on
(09:43):
to one another and speak life inone another. Um. But we had
an opportunity to go there, andwhen I was on the microphone just kind
of addressing everybody, I was lettingthem know, you know, listen,
we didn't even know one another. And she came in and she was like
to meet you, you know, you coming off this job, but I
know see who she was, andso I think I said, well,
what's what's going on here? Andand um, she began to just pour
(10:05):
to me. She said, youknow, God has so much for you
and just just who you are.She said, I would love to present
you with this opportunity, man.And so since then we've been rocking a
roll. And I mean, likeyou said, we've we've done We've done
news, broadcast, television, talkshows, podcasts, radio shows. And
she's really giving me the responsibility oftaking us on as my own just to
be able to, you know, get a vision out there. Man.
(10:28):
So big shout out to t normamentoring entrepreneur. Yea mother three businesswoman,
twenty five years worth of experience who'sbringing this wonderful events to the city of
play Wow. That's dope, man. And we're gonna get We're gonna get
into a little bit more after thebreak, Um, he darvo before we
go to the break. U,How what do you think about Lebron talking
(10:52):
about retirement, man? I don'tknow if I fully believe him. Um,
this might be a pressure tactic toget the leakers to do something because
I just can't imagine him not doingthe whole retirement year toward things, you
know what I'm saying. But onthe other hand, I mean, he's
thirty eight, so I wouldn't besoprano. Hey, man, he should
(11:16):
retire in Cleveland. That's a lotof people feel that way. He should
retire Cleveland and Mike win a championshipwith Donovan, Mitchell and Darren or the
retirement. Our team is better thanthe Lakers, so way better. Would
you trade Jared Allen for a thirtyeight, thirty nine year old Lebron that
(11:39):
you know you're only gonna have forlike a year or two? No,
no, no, no, nono. Lebron takes the minimal, takes
the vet the veterans minimum. Youtrade Jared Allen for like a Molique Monk?
Would you do that? Maybe ifhe was willing to take the minimum,
which I doubt. Yeah, Well, I we'll see, man.
Well, listen, I had toget a little sports because I ain't talking.
You know, the only thing Lebronlikes more than money is more money,
(12:01):

guests and we'll get into that thereshortly. Absolutely, absolutely, So what
(13:28):
you want to do is going tothe Pink and Black Honors dot Com.
There's where you can actually purchase yourtickets, um, like I said,
with your ticket, actually an hourbefore the actual event, from four thirty
to five thirty, we're actually hostinga networking hour. So even if there's
entrepreneurs throughout the city who are notnecessarily a part of the awards gala,
man, if you want to comeand you know, just just connect with
(13:50):
different resources, connect with your colleaguesand the business. You know what I'm
saying, who's out here in thefield doing what it is that they do.

man. We have workshops going on. We have some really phenomenal celebrity guests
that are coming in that are actuallygonna pour some really phenomenal nuggets into entrepreneurs
throughout the city, just letting themknow what it is not only to be
able to start up a business, but to be able to maintain and thrive
(14:33):
that business as well. Man.So we'll get into a little bit about
the special guests that we have comingin which just qualifies the event even more.

who you're dealing with, to washthe signs. Yeah, your man got
fifteen pairs of frames and two soI'm not talking about sunglasses. I'm talking
(21:53):
about prescription frames, prescription framers andfellow frames. Right. If he got
that's that in two suits. I'mjust saying. I'm just saying, if
you're looking a man's bathroom and hehas over seven to twelve face products,
(22:15):
if your man has more bath embodyworks than you, they only make four
sense for men. Okay, I'vebeen in there, I know. Okay,
all right, Coco tops gym,I'm going on. If your man
claims that he can only use secretdeodorant because he's got sensitive skin. No,
(22:41):
it took me. I don't letit go. I don't trust no
man that don't use some kind ofdeodorant. Like you know, I need
degree, honey. I need tosee the big boo bottle. I need
to understand that you have man canthe man? You can the man?
You sure, sure it's fun aslong as it's not in the pink bottle.
Why, Okay, if you gota pit bottle, I'm assuming you

be a man. Let's real womenknow how to get around the forest.
(23:51):
Okay, So you don't want tosee that new born huh No, I
don't want to see it newborn andyou fifty two years old. That's just
disturbing. So so gold to it'scool. I'll gold t shirt, try
and go a little p here amid. I don't care, right mind,
(24:14):
I don't care, but it needsto be something there. I don't know.
Did you say put your own issues. I'm just saying I nobody wants
to see a naked chicken. Okay, on the time, I dont want
to see a naked chickens when I'mgetting ready to deep fried. Okay,
we'll hope, we hope you ain'tdeep I'm just saying I want to see
it won't work. It won't workif it's deep. Just like you know,
(24:36):
I'm just never know. You know, y'all like ey, So anything's
possible. Um that this is,this is interesting. You need to pay
attention to. It's certain things, you know what I'm saying. It's certain
things that pay attention to. Whyare you talking about that? That segued
me into our hot topics? Whileyou know, as we as we run
(24:57):
on into the show. So DerekJackson and his wife have has officially called
it quicks. They are they aregetting they are divorced or getting or in
the process of getting divorced. Andshe says in an interview, and I
want to make sure I pronounce hername right, is uh Dania Dania U
(25:21):
Dania Jackson is okay. So Dniasays that during the time she knew that
her husband, Derek Jackson, thisuh self proclaimed relationship guru guy or expert,
have been cheating on her. Shesaid that she used to go on
the women's pages that he was cheatingwith to see what kind of clothes they
(25:45):
were wearing, to see some oftheir videos and how they were having sex
so she could match style and tryto game. Why was their sex tapes?
That's a girl? First of all, I want to know who I
didn't know if she was, shemight have been the camera lady. I
don't know. But all I'm sayingis all I'm saying is this woman says
(26:07):
she went to Great Lake to tryto um. She tried to emulate these
women, thinking that's what he wantedand if she was those things, he
would choose her. And it isthe same that there are women out here
like that. But this is aclass example of men like Derek Jackson who
go get a very plain, chained, insecure woman that they know that they
(26:32):
can clean up and she'll look damngood, but they'll never give her that
option. And they messed with thetrash while they put the queen on the
mantel. Wow, and and andyou know, he knew what he was
getting. He knew he couldn't havedone that with any of them thoughts.
He was out there, you know, the community community. P Okay,
he's for the streets, and that'swhat he was. But she thought she
(26:52):
could save him with a little preyat a bonnet. Okay, But she
learned real quick that this is justa dog. I mean, let's just
keep it real. There are peoplewho just ain't do to no matter how
you slice them. Dice just ain'tdo Tom And he you know what,
Cocode. You know the problem Ihad with Derek Jackson was this, Okay,
(27:18):
you set up here and and andyou dog black men publicly and said
that black men at cheat was wasit nothing that you you you spoke all
this venom on black men, andyet you are worse. You are worse
because yeah, because you actually wasyou was you was just like the black
(27:42):
man you talked about. Yes,you you built your whole Yes, yeah
yeah. Kevin Samuels first came out, Kevin was doing the same thing.
When he realized he wasn't getting theamount of love and and likes and follows
by calling black men out, hedecided to flip it and call black women
(28:04):
out and realized his following grow tremendouslywhen he was out here saying all the
things and being just as mean andnasty and cruel and everybody put it under
the guys if he keeping it realand some of y'all candle the truth.
No, you need rose putting handsthe truth when he first came out.
So we had to clip the game. So trust and believes. Derek Jackson
(28:25):
knew with the way he looked, and he had this instecure a little home
body wife at home that he couldget up there a pander to every black
woman with his little muscles and stuffand say all that stuff we wanted to
hear and make us feel empowered andwe're not alone. And he could use
that to his advantage to not onlyget a check but to also get some
booty. He didn't do nothing differentthan Kevin Samuel's. He just flipped it.
(28:45):
Yeah he's a corn ball, butyou know a cocon. I know
we gotta run on with the show. But I do agree with you that
he's a corn ball. And yeahthat's that's what. Yeah, I'm pretty
baby girl. He heals because sheis a beautiful girl, and I pray
that she does not you know, that she gets the healing and the help
that she needs because he prayed onher. That he had that girl sitting
(29:07):
up there looking like she lived ina closet eighteen hours out there. No,
she does look good. I've seenI've seen it, and now she
came out herself and she does looklike I pray. Yeah, yeah,
I pray for Derek Jackson Park twogirlfriend, he before you get back out
here in these streets, because unfortunatelyit's way more Derek Jackson's than it is
(29:29):
decent. Brothers, I hate tobreak it to your baby. Yes,
trouble darby real quick. Rick Rossin Fadville, Georgia might be making a
political run for mayor. Can youknow that's my whole that's where's that's my
city? Yeah, way. Youknow, the mayor down there, they
(29:51):
shut down his annual was his hiscar show he was gonna do at his
house. They shut it down.So so he I'll give my political observation
and then I want to hear Cocostots, especially because you're down there.
But I mean, why not?He has America loved celebrities, and we
(30:12):
love, we love voting for celebrities, not only just the previous president,
but Jesse, Jesse the body ventTour was governor. You know what I'm
saying. Arnold Schwartzenega. Ronald Raganwas an actor before he became governor and
then president. So we we likevoting for uh pain from wwe is in
(30:37):
Tennessee right now? Yeah? Right, so so we like America love celebrity
culture, and it's only gotten worseover the years. So hell why not?
But what do you think that sinceyou down there? Well, my
