Speaker 1 (00:21):
What is going on?

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Everybody?

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Welcome, Welcome, Welcome back to another edition of the John
and Randall's Football Experience. My name is John Avino, and
with me, as always is my name Man Randall, Mano Randall.
What's going on this evening?

Speaker 3 (00:38):
John? How are we doing? Baby? Come on? Come on,
let me hear Let me hear it.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
I want to hear it, John, I want to hear
that you are doing god awful.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
You want to know why, John, because the Yankees suck.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
I know, it's a football show, John, beside, I just
gotta let you know they just lost Game five of
the World Series up five to zero. How do you feel, Buddy,
I mean.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
It's what he was, what he is?

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Man.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Red Sox can be sniffed the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
You know what, John, We might not have sniffed the playoffs,
but we had a documentary made about us this year
which we yeah, the Red Sox week. Yeah, I'm speaking French.
They had a documentary being filmed with them throughout the
entire season, and they just had a Netflix documentary released

(01:33):
about the two thousand and four World Series.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Come back.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
I'm just saying, John, I'm not sure if you're seeing
we might not have made playoffs, but we have some
great stuff going on in our franchise.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Awesome. I'm very happy for me. The most conflictant part
of it, part about this stuff. Twitter down and posted
congratulations of the Dodgers. So that's that's pretty conflicting for
me as a sports fan. So I don't really know
how to handle it. But the Yankee season's over and
a new season begins, so the Rams hopefully will get

(02:06):
themselves going here. They did win this week randle against
the Vikings, so I'm feeling pretty good.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Yeah, John, believe it or not.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
So with that game, I knew people that had money
on the Vikings, right, and the reason why they had
money on the Viking was we knew Cooper Cup was
coming back, but not everybody. I mean, I want to
say a majority of people didn't know.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
That Puka Nukua was coming back to play.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
That man snuck hut and on everybody, and then that
first drive, Everyone's like, crap, I probably should have been
on the Rams here.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Yeah, I mean, they're a different team when Cooper Cup
is healthy. You know, if you look at Matthew Stafford's
record with him compared to without him, but that being said,
you're right, it was kind of a sneaky move. The
whole you know, at the lead up was Cooper Cup's
going to be available, He's gonna play. We hadn't really
heard much about Nakua coming back at any point. Really,

(03:07):
there hadn't been much of an update, and then suddenly
his practice window opened up the day before, I believe,
and that was public knowledge. You're kind of saying, okay,
they're opening up his window, which usually signifies that he's
a couple of weeks away from returning. However, he came
back and he actually had a much bigger impact overall,
I'd say on the game than Cooper Cup did, even
though Cup had a couple of monster catches on the

(03:29):
last couple drives, including a touchdown catch at one point two.
But Nakua just kind of set the tone right from
the beginning. They were feeding him the ball and he
just showed you that he looks like he's back to
one hundred percent with the way he was running and
running through contact like he's done throughout the first couple
of years of his career. In the first two years now.
So hopefully both these guys can stay healthy and Hopefully

(03:49):
the Rams can keep rolling because they're now three and four.
That division's kind of wide open at the moment, and
quite frankly, there's a pretty big logjam in the NFL
in general, So I'm thinking the Rams are right back
in the hunt.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
They really are, And it's honestly crazy to think they
are the most lopsided team when they have those three
guys healthy Stafford, Cup Nakula, and I'll even throw Kyrienn
Williams in there, because that dude is a dog man like.

(04:24):
Even when those guys are out, he's fighting, he's putting
up numbers. But it's just really strange. Sometimes they're just
such a sneaky team. I don't know if it's because
they're on the West Coast where East Coast guys and
I know you're a Rams fan, but I feel like
they don't get as much a love as they really should,
especially when they're playing like that.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Well, Matthew Stafford's also kind of been the king of
I think, being underrated for a really long time. That's
because he played on some really bad Lions teams for
years and years and years, so people didn't really look
at him as amongst the league best but it really
does say something that his age, he's still playing and
playing as well as he is because there's not as

(05:07):
many guys that are that old that still get to
play because of the amount of quarterbacks that are coming
out of college year after year. So you can throw
all of them in the mix. They're definitely, you know,
a different team when those guys are all playing together.
They've got Seattle this upcoming week, which you know, we'll
hear a little bit about our thoughts about that later on.
But Randall, we kind of skipped right over quick hits

(05:28):
because we we kind of got caught up with with
going into the Rams thing because of the Dodgers, because
of your raz about the Yankee. So it's time for
quick hits. Hits that's a new one, Okay. So the
quick hit this week is we're gonna talk about Jayden
Daniels and this comeback by the Commanders, because my goodness,

(05:51):
what a game this was. I mean, there was a
few games that were kind of crazy. If you were
watching NFL Red Zone. At one point on Sunday, Scott
Hansson was going to have a stroke going back and
forth between a couple of these games. But the way
that this game ended was kind of nuts. You had
the Bears taking the lead fifteen to twelve after they

(06:13):
had been down pretty much all game, and they scored
right at the end of the third corter. They scored
right at the end of the fourth corp twenty five
seconds left, and then the Commanders get the ball and
Jade Daniels did something that I've never seen in my life, really,
because I've seen hail mary's, but I've never seen one
where a guy runs around for ten seconds to extend

(06:36):
to play and then throws the ball sixty five yards
in the air and it gets tipped by a guy
who was talking shit to the fans previously and then
has to run all the way over and doesn't really
know the assignment on the play because it wasn't paying attention.
This was by far the most exciting Hail mary I've
ever seen. And I've seen Aaron Rodgers do it a

(06:57):
few times. We've seen a couple of these other guys
do it. I just I don't know what to make
of this Jaden and Daniels, because it seems like everything
this kid turns to magic, Everything touches turned to magic.
They're six and two, he's played unbelievably and this was
just the latest case of greatness by Jaden Daniels.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
John.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
This is the first time in my life I've been
a part of a hell Mary where I've.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Had money on the line.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
And this is a story John for the viewers at
home where listeners, Yes, I do it all the time.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
Gosh, I just like to care.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
I took them in a live parley John at like
minus three thousand, when they were up ten points in
the third. Next thing you know, they squander that lead,
and now I'm just like, oh my god, I'm shitting bricks.
To say the last I had one thousand dollars on
it and it was only to win like one hundred
and fifty bucks, so it.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Was nowhere near worth the suffering.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
In Yeah exactly. I'm like, oh, I'm gonna get a
guaranteed win right here. Let's see how that works. So
I'm at the gym, I'm listening to Commander's radio. By
the way, those guys are great, and next thing you know,
they score the touchdown. I'm I'm headed to the locker room.
I'm like, this is absolute horrible. And where my locker

(08:25):
room is. It's an executive locker room. John, So I
it's a private area.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
I got my own.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
There's a little lounge there, beautiful TV. And I'm about
to throw my phone down. The next thing, you know,
I hear Daniel's releases and I look up the games
on the.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
TV and I hear touch down.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Oh my god, I start screaming and jumping up in joy.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
All form easily one hundred and fifty buck win.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
But really it wasn't one hundred and fifty buck win
for me, John, It was I saved one thousand dollars
because of that. But so I was even more ecstatic.
But it was the Commanders had no business losing that game.
Like you know sometimes how a hail mary is like, Wow,
that team got lucky.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
The Commanders played.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Well, they out threw them, out ran them, played better
defense overall.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
The entire day.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
The Commanders were the better team and deserved to win
that game. And it showed with the hail Mary at
the end with like you said, a guy not knowing
the assignment.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
But that kid, John Jaden Daniels is the real deal.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
I don't know how much more we got to see
if him to know he's the rookie of the Year.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Yeah, I completely agree with you. I mean, man, it's uh,
it is kind of concerning to me that you're betting
that much money to win one hundred and fifty dollars
in a game that is, to me a little bit
of a toss up. It wasn't as clear cut as
you might think it was.

Speaker 3 (09:54):
I mean, it was minus three thousand.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Taking when they were especially taking it live, is what
I'm just gonna say.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
They were, well, they were up ten zip, and every
time they would get like to the forty to the fifty,
they just then would punt. You know, they didn't really
like put it away. But on their last second to
last possession, John, they should have threw the challenge it
seemed like, or should have gone for it on the
fourth and one because really it was a couple of inches.
But I thought it was also a bad ball placement

(10:22):
where they should have had the first down and that
would have essentially sealed the deal if you remember that
play that I'm talking about on that run. But fantastic
game and that those are the type of games we
want to see. First overall pick first, the second overall pick,
and I think it was clear as day to see

(10:43):
Jaden Daniels right now at least is the better talent.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Yeah, I would agree. Caleb Williams. I don't think is
he's not the Bryce Young to the CJ. Stroud because
I do think he's gonna be better than that. But
but yeah, right now, it's obviously Jayden Daniels has played
bad so far. He was the more NFL ready guy.
Let's talk about this Patriots Jets game, because the Jets
did something that literally has never been done before. I

(11:10):
sent you the graphic, the Dan Rolovski, the tweet that
he put out there. It was a team has never
ever held a team under two hundred and fifty yards,
not turn the ball over and scored twenty plus points
and lost a game until the Jets did it this
past week against the Patriots. Kind of unfathomable to believe

(11:32):
that that was a stat but also kind of unfathomable
to believe that this is just what has happened to
the Jets regularly. Does not matter who's on the team,
who's playing quarterback, who's on defense, you know who the
coaches are. This just seems to be a matchup and
a team, more specifically for the Jets that cannot get
out of their own way, and I don't know what

(11:55):
else to say about them other than they are a
complete and utter mess. Who has the same record as
the Patriots right now when reality says the Jets should
be a lot better than they are right now.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
Yeah, John, I mean it's watching that game. I think
I texted you right after. John put the Jets on
your do not bet list, Doude, And this is a
warning out to the public, do not bet the Jets.
I'm still shocked at their favorites going into the game
this week. And I get it, Houston has basically they're

(12:32):
all their best wide receivers are.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
Out right now. Still don't care.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
The Jets stink absolutely god awful.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
The Texans could go out there with you and I
at receiver this weekend and we could beat the Jets.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
I John, I honestly agree. Just run the ball, then
down their throat with Joe Mixon.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Yeah, and then play action. Send me deep.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
I'm game with it.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
I'll sell lebrate with you in the end zone. But
in all serious that John, Aaron Rodgers is horrible. You
had a better offense with Zach Wilson and a better
win loss record.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
Yeah, that's what's crazy about this, and you know what's
even crazier is that he didn't lose to Drake may
who went out there and played a great game. Drake
may left this game pretty early. He did have a
rushing touchdown, which was pretty cool. But Jacoby Brisseatid, who's
been very, you know, mediocre when he's played this year,
came in and he was the one who didn't really
do much but did enough to guide this team to win.

(13:37):
I mean, the numbers in this game were just a
surd if you look at the box score, because if
you just look at the numbers themselves, without actually looking
at the score of the game, you would think, man,
the Jets must have dominated these guys, and it's just
not the case. And for whatever reason, like I said,
they can't get out of their own way. Now, Drake
may he's the other part of this story, Randall. He
got a concussion. He's gonna be out for a little while.

(14:00):
What do you think about the fact that Drake may
is is gonna have to miss a little time here.

Speaker 3 (14:05):
I'm a little saddened by it because he has.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
Been playing well, John right, Like, I'm glad he's been playing.
He's been throwing the ball great, and I'm not sure
if you got to watch any of the Patriots games.
The game against the Jets, they dropped like four balls
the wide receivers like hit guys in the chest. Whether
it was May throwing the ball or Brissette, they were

(14:28):
dropping him. So I'm very excited for the future that
Drake May has. We got to get new weapons for
him on wide receivers. Hunter Henry's doing a great job
at tight end. You know, offensive line need weapons, But
at this point, it is what it is. I'm kind
of happy if he takes a back seat a little
bit for a couple of games, so that way, I

(14:48):
know we're gonna lose with Brissett because I definitely don't
want to be giving up any any future draft picks
in the rounds. If that makes sense, I want to
hire pick.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
Yeah, it makes sense. That's the general thoughts these days,
that you want the higher pick when you can get it.
I think that the Patriots are going to miss this
kid because he's been a lot of fun to watch.
But I do think that it's going to be interesting
to see the approach with him if they take it slow,
if they do, you know, clear him as quickly as
he's able to be cleared, or if they give him
a couple extra weeks and maybe let him see, you know,

(15:21):
what's going on before they bring him back. I just
think it's a situation where you don't want him to
come back too soon get a bigger injury or major
injury because of something, you know, especially in a year
which is not going to be a season that they're
going to the playoffs or have plans to win anything major.
So his long term health, Randall, that's the name of
the game here.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
It really is.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
And I know we were talking about last week's show
with Guys Now with Guys with Tua not retiring with
the concussions and everything like that and maybe not taking
it as in college. I'm not sure if you saw
Michigan quarterback just retired. I know he was the backup

(16:06):
that ended up getting a start. He was a fifth
year He just had to retire because he got his
like fifth or sixth concussion.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
Quarterback for NC.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
State, transferred in from Coastal Carolina, had a great career there.
He was the starter for them, got hurt like fourth
game in this game. Right before last week he announced
he has to retire due to concussions. So I'm fine
with them keeping Drake May on the sideline as long

(16:37):
as possible as so that way he can recover fully.
He's good and like you said, he's not gonna miss
more time.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Yeah, and ways, there's kind of more pressure on a
guy like him or not a guy like Tua I
should say, to come back because he's on a team
that has asked Parisians to win this season and you
know in the immediate future. Whereas Drake May, they don't
have to rush him back because you know, they don't
need to. They want to protect the long term investment there.

(17:06):
Speaking of which, Jordan Love got hurt in the game
against the Jaguars, second time this season he's left a
game and it was kind of you know, he I
think he took a hit and then it kind of
happened a few moments later. It wasn't immediate before he
went down. But then you know, I think Malik Willis
comes in. He does just enough to give this team

(17:27):
the edge in this game. You know, he's four or
five for touchdown fifty yards. He ran for twenty as well.
But if Jordan Love ends up missing any time here
It's gonna be interesting to see how the Packers fare
without him, because when he missed time earlier this season,
Malik Willis actually played fairly well Randall. So you know,

(17:47):
this was the Jaguars they were able to beat. Where
do you feel like they go from here? If Jordan
Love is out for any period of time.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
I still don't see them doing any crazy, John, because
I don't think Malik Willis is that great. I mean,
maybe he's done some good things, I guess, right, Like,
I mean, he came in for those games that.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
He was hurt. How many was that two or was
it three?

Speaker 1 (18:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Yeah, But I mean and then he came in this
game nothing nothing like bad. Four for five fifty six yards,
a touchdown where Jordan lovedn't throw a touchdown, and then
he ran for twenty three yards. I thought they were
gonna lose this game as soon as he came out.
That was two times on Sunday, the backup, sorry three

(18:42):
times on Sunday backup quarterbacks came in for the win.
Jamis Winston got was the backup to start. God Jakobe
Brissett was the backup that came in. We just talked
about that game I thought they were done once that happened,
and then same thing with Malik Willis once the backup
came in.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
I thought Jaguars got handed the game.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
They're about to have some some hopes now and they
didn't capitalize John And that says more. I think it
says more about Jacksonville than it does what Green Bay
is about to go through.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
Yeah. Well, I mean Jacksonville has been you know, their
top three booty cheek team of the year right now.
I mean they've just not been very good at all
week to week. They've struggled to do the mediocre things
even fairly well. Tank Bigsby has been maybe a positive spot.
So is Brian Thomas, the receiver who they got this year.
He's been fun to watch. But Trevor Lawrence has just

(19:34):
not been not been great, And I think that it's
it is a real concern for their long term you know,
health of him. Uh if you're looking at him saying like,
what are you going to do for our franchise moving forward?
And he's doing this and you had this roster around
in this season thinking that it was going to be

(19:54):
a big success. I will say I do give him
major credit for throwing Evan Ingram a touchdown late in
this game, even or even if it was to tie
the game. It wasn't garbage time necessarily because they tied
the game before losing. But he threw that touchdown to
tie the game up, and that ended up being the
second leg of a three leg tight end touchdown parlay
that I hit. So I was very happy to see

(20:15):
Evan Ainger get in the end zone.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
John.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Anytime you're able to hit a big parlay, shout it
to the rooftops, my man, because not only am I
proud of you, our listeners are proud of you.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
Yeah, I know, I know, especially the ones who were
tailing my bets properly. The Eagles beat the Bengals, Big.
Were you surprised about this? I know we I think
we both had Cincinnati and our picks this week.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
Of course, remember I'm the one saying I thought Cincinnati
was still gonna make the playoffs. Yeah, and I still
think they're gonna make the playoffs. Okay, they got a
little bit of an easy schedule coming up, so I
think they can still capitalize. Ten wins can still get
them in. They just face gotta go eight into the
rest of the way. Okay, possible, possible. Now onto this game,

(21:10):
I was more impressed.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
With what the Eagles did.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Okay, the Eagles, they proved something to me, John, I've
hated on them for a while. That was a win
on the road that I was actually really impressed with.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
All they talk to me is that they can get
the one yard anytime they want. Still. I mean, Jalen
Hurts had three rushing touchdowns, they converted a ton of
first downs on that, and they just kind of dominated
this game from the second quartern. So you do have
to give them credit because they win games when they're
doing things well. They're five and two, but if you

(21:44):
heard their fan base, you think they're like way worse
than that. But it's been pretty good. It's been pretty
good for them. The Lions absolutely trounced the Titans. This
game was fourteen fourteen out of the gate, and Calvin
Ridley was like the leading receiver amongst all receivers. In
the first quarter, you have like one hundred and ten
yards and then suddenly you get to the Lions fourteen

(22:09):
to fourteen. They just start going off and they score,
you know, thirty eight points between quarters number two and three.
Randall and they just completely took over this game.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
John, what was the score?

Speaker 2 (22:23):
Please? Reor how about this? How many points did the
Lions put up? Fifty two fifty two? So Jared Goff
musta threw for at least three hundred and fifty yards four.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Hundred yards, right, yeah, you'd assume so, right.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Less than one hundred yards, John, eighty six yards. I
when I looked at the stats after the game, well, sorry,
when it was popping up on my TV at the
bottom every time they score a touchdown, I'm like, that's
gotta be mistake. That number has to be missing a
one to two, there are three in front of it. Like,

(23:01):
I could not believe it.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
Yeah, eighty six.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
Yards putting up that many points. And it's not like
they like did they run for four hundred and five
hundred yards? No? I mean they're just a complete team.
They can do anything they want.

Speaker 3 (23:17):
I get it. Yeah, Tennessee whoo whoop?

Speaker 2 (23:20):
Do you but John, they're the real deal, your boys,
Jared Goff, the real deal, Lions, the real deal.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
They scored seven touchdowns in this game. One of them
was on a punt return, so they had plenty of
contributions coming from plenty of different directions. We did have
plenty of good games in this early window. You had
the crazy finishes between the Cardinals and Dolphins game, the
Browns and Ravens, the Texans beat the Colts. All these

(23:54):
games were within a score late and ended up as
a score game, even the Falcons beating the Bucks. You know, Randall,
what were your takes on some of these games? Because
I'm just gonna kind of leave it open for you
to talk about whichever one of these games you want
to talk about.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
Yeah, let's go to the Colts game real quick, John,
where Anthony Richardson, by the way, through an absolute bomb
again of a touchdown pass. I'm not sure if it
was a touchdown pass. It was a touchdown pass, right,
but he started to crame two for fourteen or two
for fifteen with that one sixty yard bomb.

Speaker 3 (24:30):
Other than that, he was not there.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
And then he has to come out of the game
because he's drained, he's tired on third and goal.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
Yeah, what is going on? And I said it.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
I thought Joe Flacco should have been starting and they
should have stayed with him because he did great in
those three games.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
He did great.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
But guess what they're bringing him back, John, Joe starting
next game.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
They're listening to you now. Richardson was ten for thirty
two overall in this game, so his completion percentage really
didn't get I mean it got better from where he started, obviously,
but it never really fully improved. He was still under
thirty three percent when all of a said and done.
I think this is a good move for them because
the Colt's been one score or you know, they've won

(25:16):
or lost by one score every game they've played. I'm
pretty sure. And if you're gonna have that kind of
consistent play from your team, you're gonna need a guy
that can give you the best chance to win. I
think right now that's Joe Flacco. No disrespect to Anthony
richards And I just think Flacco is a guy who
can really.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
No, no, John, you just said, the dude's throw an
under fifty percent past it completion percentage, which is like,
there's only a handful of guys over the last couple
of years that I've actually been able to do that.
Most recent was like Tim Tebow with that marble he
was doing. So don't be sugarcoating it. Say it what

(25:53):
it is, Anthony Richardson Boot and Cheek Player of the week.
That's what he was, what he may have been.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
I mean, yeah, that's probably fair because they probably lost
the game because he makes a couple of bad decisions
in this game, you know.

Speaker 5 (26:11):
What you mean?

Speaker 3 (26:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (26:13):
Yeah, he had your quarterback throws.

Speaker 3 (26:17):
For thirty yards, John, Are you gonna win the game?

Speaker 1 (26:20):
No, unless you're Jared Goff.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
He threw for eighty seven with three touchdowns though, Okay, yeah,
with only two incompletions.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
Yep, yeah, you're not wrong. What about the Falcons, man,
The Falcons were up. They kind of withstood the Bucks.
Here at the end, Kirk Cousins throws for four more touchdowns.
This offense has certainly kind of reached the potential of
what they looked like they could be on paper before

(26:52):
the season. Are you having fun watching the Falcons offense? Randall?

Speaker 2 (26:58):
I mean, everybody is letting loose against Tampa's defense, right,
Like they were supposed to put up numbers, and they
put up numbers.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
They did good.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
The real story was, I thought Baker Mayfield still shine
with a bunch of no name receivers playing with them.
He kept them in the game. It was a game
on possession game.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
Yeah, he actually got them back in the game at
the end. They scored a bunch of points in the
fourth quarter. Of the Falcons didn't score after the touchdown
they had with fourteen seconds left to go in the third.
Bucks scored two touchdowns in the last quarter, but they
ultimately fell. And obviously it's a division game, so it
means that much more for the Falcons to win it.

(27:40):
But you know, the Bucks, they're gonna need to get
fully healthy if they want to have a good chance
to compete anyway, and Chris Godwin's not coming back through
that door, so they'll never really be fully healthy even
when Mike Evans gets back. The Cardinals defeated Dolphins in
the return of Tua. It was a comeback for them.
Dolphins were up by nine twelve twenty two to go,

(28:01):
then James Connor scored about four minutes later, and then
the Cardinals kick a field goal to win it as
time expired. But two was kind of the main show here.
He was back on the field. They were in Miami.
You know, he clearly looked pretty good when he was
out there throwing the ball. Randall, he did have three
rushing attempts for thirteen yards. How did you feel like

(28:24):
to have played his return to the field.

Speaker 2 (28:27):
John, They got the loss, Man, They took the l
at home to Arizona. Yeah, okay, that's that's horrible. You
can't do that. And I know he he two would
like technically didn't have any turnovers.

Speaker 3 (28:43):
It wasn't a terrible game.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
But you were up for basically, you were up the
entire day up until the very end, which means what
you gotta win. You have to win. You're up at halftime,
you're up at the end of the third quarter, basically
the entire fourth quarter until the very end. Ye gotta
find a way to win. Yeah, you put up twenty seven,

(29:07):
so yeah, I get it. It's partially a defensive problem
right there too, But hey, put up more and how
do you do that? The offense has to be better.
I think it's a better sign for Miami clearly that
to his back, they're gonna put up more points.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
But there they gotta do better.

Speaker 1 (29:28):
Can't happen if only they still had Mike White.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
And Mike what you know, you get the Scott likes me?

Speaker 1 (29:38):
Well, I know you like Jamis Winston, right.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
Of course I do. Man, He motivates.

Speaker 1 (29:45):
What a guy. He had twenty seven to forty one,
three thirty four, three touchdowns. They beat the Ravens in Cleveland. Uh,
you know, Chubbs obviously back. This is a big thing
for Cleveland right now with the team not playing well
and now he's in and and Deshaun's out, and you
feel like Deshaun Watson has been a guy that isn't
really ever been accepted by the city of Cleveland because

(30:07):
why wood he is coming in as the guy who
he's been and not having success there. But like, Jameis
Winston is such an interesting character here because he comes in,
he wins this game. He's quoting M and M after
the game with the reporter. I mean, he's just a
very interesting guy for a lot of reasons. But do

(30:28):
you think that the Browns could legitimately at two and six?
You know, you're talking about the Bengals a moment ago
being three and five and having a chance to still
get back in it. Do you think that the Browns
at two and six have any chance of Jameis Winston
now playing to get back in this thing.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
I would like to say yes, because they do have
a good roster. David Najok who had another great game.
Nick Chubb had a decent game. Ten carries fiftieth year arts, right,
So they have the pieces they have, They have the
pieces to be really good.

Speaker 3 (31:07):
But I don't think so, John, I don't.

Speaker 2 (31:10):
Jamis threw some balls that should have been easily intercepted.

Speaker 3 (31:15):
I'm not sure if again you watch this game, but
I'm trying.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
He was trying to throw picks at the end.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
Yeah, Like there was a ball that I really don't
know how that guy dropped it. That linebacker dropped it.
And that's exactly why he plays defense, because even.

Speaker 5 (31:31):
With football gloves that are sticky as hell, he could
not catch a ball that was thrown directly to his
chest with.

Speaker 2 (31:42):
Literally nobody around him, John, That would have sealed the deal,
sealed the deal.

Speaker 3 (31:48):
But he couldn't do it. Yeah, he couldn't do it.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
But with that being said, Jamis did play great, but
I just don't see him being able to do that consistently.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
Yeah, your point is great because you just look at
the and they don't tell the full story. The full
story would be that he almost threw a couple of
picks and the Ravens just couldn't hold onto him. If
he does that in a bigger game or game where
the Ravens can hold on to him, this story must
be a little bit or might be a little bit
different for the Brown than this one. So good for Jamis,
I guess, but we'll see if he's able to continue.

(32:18):
The Chargers kind of walloped the Saints a little bit
twenty six to eight. This was not a great look
for Spencer Rattler, who got benched late in this game.
For Jay Cayner, you know, it was business business as usual.
I like to say, I guess, but justin Herbert I
always called him a fraud in the past, and he
still has not really done much to show that he's
a great player in this league on a consistent basis.

(32:40):
But he did have a really good game. He threw
a couple of touchdowns, both of them to Lad Maconkee.
Do you have anything to say about the Chargers, it
was pretty ho hum win for them.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
Yeah, John, They they stink the Chargers.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
Yeah. I'm still not.

Speaker 1 (32:55):
Even though they won twenty six to eight. That's the
take you're getting out of this.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
Yeah, I'm not. I don't. I don't think there are
anything special that's fair.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
I don't necessarily think they're that great either. I just
think this shows how bad the Saints are, how far
the Saints have fallen in those first couple of weeks
of this season.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
Oh yeah, but again, Spencer Radler was the quarterback this
past week. Yeah, and their top, their top wide receiver
is out for the season. I'm just if you told well,
is he Chris lave No?

Speaker 3 (33:31):
Oh, I thought you were talking.

Speaker 2 (33:33):
I was gonna say, uh, Rashida, Rashid, Rashid, What's what's
his name?

Speaker 3 (33:40):
I'm drawn a blank. Yeah, Rashi. I mean he.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
Catches like long balls left and right for them, So
he's one of their top top D threats.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
He's out, he's out for the season.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
But yeah, but yeah, back back to that, I'm just
not impressed with the Chargers, John, Yeah, you beat the Saints.
Whoo whooped to you? So that's all.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
What about the Bills? Are you impressed with them? Six
and two? Now, thirty one to ten on the road
in Seattle?

Speaker 2 (34:14):
I am, But I mean DK Metcalf didn't play for Seattle,
so that's a top threat down for them. But still
the Bills put up thirty one and they came out
the gate hot Amari Cooper didn't even have that good
of a game.

Speaker 3 (34:26):
He had one catch.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
So the Bills are looking to be They're one of
the most consistent teams right now. They're one of the
most consistent teams in the NFL right now, and that's
the Bills, especially on the AFC side.

Speaker 1 (34:42):
Yeah, I agree. I think if there's anybody that's a
big thread to de throne the Chiefs, who again haven't
played their best football but are still undefeated, which we'll
get to here in a second, but I think it's
the Bills right now. The Ravens have shown a little
bit of vulnerability, but I think the Bills have shown,
for the most part, they're pretty sound team. You know,
we talked about the Commanders already, so we could skip

(35:02):
over that game in this window. That was a wild
finish obviously that we talked about in in Nauseam at
the beginning of the episode. The Broncos beat the Panthers
like two touchdowns. It was the return of Bryce Young
to the field. He threw a couple of touchdowns, also
threw a couple of picks. Bow Knicks had a pretty
good game for the Broncos here and they kind of

(35:23):
rolled Randle, and you and I were both on the
side of the Broncos with the big spread in the
overall picks we made. We both had Denver minus ten
and it worked out because they ended up crushing the
Panthers here.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
Yeah, they did.

Speaker 2 (35:38):
And I'm gonna tell the listeners a fun fact that
we were talking about before the air, John, and it
was this.

Speaker 3 (35:46):
When.

Speaker 2 (35:48):
You see these big spreads and we're like, wow, you know,
should we should we take.

Speaker 3 (35:52):
Especially in this game, ten points to the dog.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
Well, when you do that, John, you might as well
go and bet the entire money line on the dog
because the dog is gonna cover. So if you don't
think the dog's gonna win, just bet the favorite. And
that's what we did here. We bet them minus ten
and guess what happened, money money, money money.

Speaker 3 (36:18):
They covered. The home team covered it.

Speaker 2 (36:20):
Okay, So instead of betting plus ten plus seven plus
six to the dog, just bet them money line if
you think they're gonna win. Yeah, if not, they ain't
covering that thing anyway, because that's what Vegas wants, really.
They they want the dog to win. They don't want
the dog to just cover. They want the dog to win.

(36:41):
Because when the dog wins. What does it do, John,
It barks. It kills the parlay, It kills the money
line parlay of the favorite team.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
You know, they rather pay out the few money line
bets on the underdog than they parlay that has the
six legs of the favorites in it.

Speaker 3 (37:03):
Correct.

Speaker 2 (37:03):
Yeah, because the favorite could win if the dog covers,
they're paying it out double where if the dog just
the dog covers and wins, you're not paying out that parlay.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
And that's where they're making all their money.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
So also, Worn, stop betting your parlays.

Speaker 1 (37:18):
Now, what does it mean when they do double dog.

Speaker 3 (37:24):
Like a double dog, the double bark.

Speaker 1 (37:32):
Double bark. All right, there's a few games left to
tackle here. From Week eight, Randall, Chiefs meat the Raiders
in Vegas. They're now seven to zero, and again it
was Mahomes another pick in this game. Kelsey did have
a good game. Not the cleanest one though that we've
seen from the Chiefs, which continues to be a theme here.

(37:53):
Are you ready to admit that they're still the best
team in the league?

Speaker 5 (38:00):
On?

Speaker 2 (38:00):
John, John, John, can you just reverse that again for me?
Just just go back those five seconds and say that again.

Speaker 1 (38:08):
Are you ready to admit that they're still the best
team in the league.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
Am I ready to admit they're still the best team
in the league? Absolutely not, John, because it's a trick
or treat.

Speaker 3 (38:20):
Smell my feet.

Speaker 2 (38:21):
They are stinky, stinky, stinky.

Speaker 3 (38:25):
Like my feet.

Speaker 2 (38:26):
And I still believe that, John, Okay, I still believe
that they are god awful. Oh my man, Gardner Minshew
almost beat them again, almost beat them.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
Yeah, almost is a relative term, but I okay, it is.

Speaker 3 (38:42):
I get it. I get it as very relative.

Speaker 2 (38:44):
But I'm just I'm just that sold, John, I really
and I and I get it.

Speaker 3 (38:50):
I'm biased.

Speaker 2 (38:51):
I'll admit I'm biased, but I just don't see winners.

Speaker 3 (38:55):
I don't see it. I don't see going far in
the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (38:59):
I I see Josh Allen being in them.

Speaker 3 (39:04):
That's what I say.

Speaker 1 (39:06):
Do they think that this is gonna come to an
end to a certain point, because if they play like
this against everybody, they certainly won't go undefeated, and they
certainly won't go that far in the playoffs. But I
also think that it's the other side of the coin.
Is equally as fair to talk about the fact that
they're seven to zher and they have not nearly touched
what we know could be their best football based on

(39:26):
the fact that their quarterback has not played nearly what
we've seen him to play to his capabilities before. And
maybe he's regressing. Maybe we don't know that he's not regressing.
Maybe it's maybe it's what's happening right before our eyes.
But he's not this bad. And they're seven in, you know,
and we know the throws he can make, so they'll
figure out something here eventually.

Speaker 3 (39:47):
I don't know, another game with other interceptions John A.

Speaker 1 (39:50):
Lot is Man, they're still winning games. So until until.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
Again, I'm gonna say it. We saw it with the
Eagles last year.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
The Eagles.

Speaker 3 (40:04):
I want to listen to me, You don't want to.

Speaker 1 (40:06):
Listen to I'm just trying to turn up what you're
saying into song. That's all.

Speaker 3 (40:09):
Okay, we did see.

Speaker 1 (40:14):
With the Eagles last year. It's a fair point, but
they're not the same pedigree as the Chiefs, who won
what three titles? Now, yes they have, yeah, Okay. The
forty nine Ers beat the Cowboys in San fran This
was one of those games where it looked like the
forty nine Ers were just gonna cruise They were up
twenty seven to ten at the end of the third quarter,

(40:34):
but then suddenly Ceedee Lamb and Dak Prescott decided to
go off in the fourth quarter, and lucky for the Niners,
they ended up just doing enough to hang on here.
I will say that what's his name Mason got heard again.
Not a great look for them or him. I guess
people are upset the fact that the forty nine ers

(40:54):
might not be doing all the what's the word I'm
looking for. They're being a little suspicious about the way
they're handling injuries this season, based on the first week
when McCaffrey was questionable and Mason apparently told everybody he
found out he was starting four days prior three days
prior or whatever. And now this they think everybody thinks
that Mason was hurt coming into the game and that

(41:15):
they tried to hide it and play him a little bit,
and then he got hurt again. But regardless, the Niners
win the game. Here, Randall, the Dallas Cowboys moved to
three and four because of it, and the Niners are
four and four. Do you think this is the kind
of game that can help the Niners kind of get
themselves right? Here after what's been an inconsistent start to
the season.

Speaker 2 (41:37):
Hey, they're tied for first in the division.

Speaker 3 (41:40):
John, they are.

Speaker 2 (41:43):
Tied for first in the division. I'm a Barack Prety believer.
I think he does all the little things, right.

Speaker 1 (41:48):
I think, say Barack Purty like Barack Obama.

Speaker 3 (41:54):
Sorry, Barack Party. I think I think he does all
the little things.

Speaker 2 (42:00):
I think he can lead them to another NFC championship game.
I know they haven't had the best start, but they're
gonna have some pieces coming back late in the season,
and he's gonna keep a minute. I don't think the
division's anything crazy right now, even though it's pretty competitive
from that regard and a record standpoint. But hey, they

(42:22):
beat a decent Dallas team at home. I'm sure of
it that the forty nine ers will be making the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (42:30):
Yeah, I still would probably bet a lot of money
that they're gonna be in the playoffs. And the season
rolls around, the end of the season rolls around. They're
a team that usually figures it out kind of as
the year goes on. They're going to their bye week now,
and then they have McCaffrey back probably for Week ten,
and if he's anything where he's been in the past,
They're gonna be just fine. So I think he'll he'll
add a dimension to their offense that they've been missing obviously.

(42:53):
And the Monday night game Randal was Steelers Giants in Pittsburgh.
It was Russell Wilson's second start with the Steelers, and
though there was a lot of field goals early in
the first half in this game, the second half kind
of got started with a little bit of slowness as well,
but then Calvin Austin in a punt return touchdown and
a couple more touchdowns in the fourth quarter from each team,

(43:14):
but ultimately the Steelers, I don't think this win was
ever really in doubt for them once the second half hit.
It was obviously nine to nine and a halftime, but
once they kind of got things going, they were in
the driver's seat, and they once again proved that they
doesn't really matter what Mike Tomlin has there in front
of him on the field, He's gonna find a way
to get the most out of his guys.

Speaker 2 (43:35):
Eah John, just like you find the best way to
get the most out of me, whether it's the early show,
late show, you know how to get me ready for
the game day experience, to make sure I'm fully performing
and functioning well for you and the show. Mike Tomlin's
doing the same thing, man, and I'm a believer. That's
why I've been betting on the Steelers the last couple

(43:57):
of weeks because that defense is scary good, and it's
always been scary good the last couple of seasons. But
they are firing on all cylinders. John, Yeah, I think
with UT's in there that they really do have a
shot to make a playoff push, even though they haven't
won a playoff game, and what eight years, nine years

(44:18):
something crazy?

Speaker 3 (44:21):
I think that could all honestly change this year.

Speaker 1 (44:26):
Yeah, it certainly could. I mean, it'll be interesting to
see if if Russell Wilson continues to play as well
as he's played these first two games. He's thrown for
a ton of yards already, He's been very clean with
the football. He seems much more comfortable in this system
than he did the two years that he was in
Denver so or three years whatever it was. I think
it was two well, with two different coaches. But yeah,

(44:48):
So the Steelers win, and if that we're done with
recapping Week eight Randall, which means it's time to move
on to our first game of our Week nine slate.

Speaker 2 (45:03):
I love game days, John, I love game days because
it's time to play guess.

Speaker 1 (45:09):
Yes, that.

Speaker 2 (45:12):
Spread?

Speaker 3 (45:15):
Oh boy, that was a good one.

Speaker 1 (45:16):
Yeah, it was. It's time to play guest that spread? Randall.
You know how the rules work. I think the listeners
know how the rules work as well. Last week I
was one and three and you were zero and three,
So I won last week two in a row for.

Speaker 2 (45:32):
You, John, don't get hot.

Speaker 1 (45:35):
Oh I'm hot, So you don't have to worry about that.
All right, let me start off. Give you something here, Randall.
As far as passing is concerned, I'm gonna talk about
your main man coming back from the concussion here. What
is two attack of tug of I lo is number
against Buffalo Bills this week in Buffalo?

Speaker 4 (45:55):
Oh, just for like two forty Yeah, I'm gonna say
two twenty five and a half?

Speaker 1 (46:07):
John, Oh, you are wrong to forty seven and a half.

Speaker 3 (46:15):
She I guess I should have went there. Should have
went there?

Speaker 2 (46:20):
John, Okay, not not not, Probably should definitely should have.
Let's do this Houston at New York Jets.

Speaker 3 (46:32):
Give me CJ. Stroud passing yards.

Speaker 1 (46:36):
Oh, this is tomorrow night or tonight at this point
Halloween evening when you're listening to this show Stroud against
the Jets? D Where is this game being played in Houston?

Speaker 3 (46:47):
In New Jersey? In Ruffer third?

Speaker 1 (46:51):
Okay, I'm gonna say Stroud's number for this game is
gonna be two forty five and a half.

Speaker 3 (47:04):
To twenty one and a half.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
Wow. Okay, he's pretty low compared to what I just
gave you for two of their But that's fine. Okay.
Let me give you rushing number here, and this one's
gonna be fun. We're gonna go Raiders Bengals. It's a
lot of fun. Fun people here. How about Chase Brown
from the Bengals?

Speaker 3 (47:24):
You know him?

Speaker 2 (47:26):
I do know Chase Brown from the Bengals. I'm gonna say,
fifty eight and a half.

Speaker 1 (47:34):
Welcome to the scoreboard. Fifty seven and a half.

Speaker 2 (47:38):
Is the.

Speaker 3 (47:40):
Man so close all year to exactly?

Speaker 1 (47:45):
We have not had one yet this season?

Speaker 3 (47:48):
We have not we have not all?

Speaker 2 (47:51):
Right, Well, from one Cincinnati back to a former Cincinnati back,
I'm gonna stay with Houston for you, John, give me
Joe mixed.

Speaker 1 (48:01):
Oh, he's been pretty good in his games this year.
You're giving me two straight guys in the Texans. I'm
not sure how I feel about that. I don't think
we've ever done that before. I think you're being non
kosher with me here, but I'm gonna answer anyway. I'm
gonna say that this is going to be sixty nine
and a half.

Speaker 2 (48:23):
Eighty three and a half.

Speaker 1 (48:24):
John, Damn, you'd got a little higher. Okay, Are you
gonna give me another guy from the Texans for the receiver?

Speaker 3 (48:32):
Who knows I haven't gotten to that page yet.

Speaker 1 (48:36):
I'm gonna go Colts and Vikings and everybody knows this
guy really well. He's had a really nice career. I
want you to tell me how many receiving yards TJ.
Howkinson's going to have in his first game of the season.

Speaker 2 (48:51):
Oh jeez, he's been on the ir all season along
so far, John.

Speaker 3 (49:03):
Thirty thirty two and a half yards.

Speaker 1 (49:14):
Thirty eight and a half.

Speaker 3 (49:16):
I was gonna go thirty five. Oh that's horrible.

Speaker 1 (49:20):
I could tell that you were gonna go a little
higher and that you went lower, and that you just
missed it. That's crazy. You kept the door open for me,
if not slightly cracked.

Speaker 2 (49:29):
That's Okay, that's okay. We're gonna go here, John with
scary Terry Terry mclaarland for Washington at what's his name,
New York.

Speaker 3 (49:43):
Scary Terry Terry McLaurin.

Speaker 1 (49:45):
Okay, uh, Terry mclaurin's receiving yard number against the Giants.
Let's see here. This is gonna be. It's probably pretty
I'm gonna say this is seventy three and a half.

Speaker 2 (50:02):
Mother fucker, John, I should have got it. I should
have changed it sixty nine and a half. Let's go
fucking tie mother. I should have went with somebody else. Yes,
great job, John, congratulates. I should have gave you like
Pooka Na Cooper Cooper cup. Great job, grad.

Speaker 1 (50:24):
Thousand four day spread. Nice work, nice work, all right.
That brings us to hard locks.

Speaker 3 (50:40):
Hard locks.

Speaker 1 (50:43):
Last week I was two and one, so back in
the winner's common the hard locks, only the second time
this year I've had a winning record. That was three
to oh in week six two and one. In Week eight,
Randal was one and two, and that's only the third
time this year he's had a losing record on the whole.
Hard locks And for those of you keeping track at home,
Rand and I both went nine and six on our

(51:06):
overall picks, which are not public we do those off
the air, but that includes our hard locks and then
the rest of the games as well.

Speaker 3 (51:13):
So randall back to back winning weeks for us.

Speaker 1 (51:17):
Yeah, that's right, that's right, and we're both I've had
three weeks in a row now actually where I've picked picked, right.
I've actually been very good in the overall picks this year,
but my hard locks where I've struggled a little bit.
So all right, So with that being said, why don't
you go first?

Speaker 3 (51:34):
All right?

Speaker 2 (51:35):
Job, my first hard lock is gonna be I said
it earlier. It's gonna be a dog. We're not just
taking them with the spread. We're gonna take a money line.
Give me Dallas plus two and a half at Atlanta.
I know Atlanta's coming off a win John All down
in Tampa, but I think this Dallas team needs a

(51:55):
win or they are going to be in uh deep
dog dog shit like the dog they are right now.

Speaker 3 (52:02):
So give me Dallas plus two and a half.

Speaker 1 (52:06):
Okay, that's good. I'm going to go ahead and take
the Texans right now. I have them at plus one
and a half, so they're also a dog alert here.
It is kind of interesting that the Jets are still
favoring this game. I know we've talked about the injuries
of the Texans half. However, the Jets have just been
so bad and right now I'm at the point where

(52:27):
I'm just betting against them for the sake of betting
against them. So give me the Texans Thursday night football.
That game is tonight if you're listening to this, So
get that game in soon.

Speaker 3 (52:39):
You have it at a plus two, Johnny.

Speaker 1 (52:41):
Said, plus one and a half right now.

Speaker 2 (52:44):
I'll get I'll give you the extra half if you
if you want it, Yeah, thanks man.

Speaker 3 (52:48):
What is one and a half odds wise for you?

Speaker 1 (52:51):
Minus one ten?

Speaker 3 (52:53):
With me?

Speaker 2 (52:53):
You can get it for minus one ten for two points.
So I'm gonna give you two points chaff. Thanks man,
do this of you.

Speaker 3 (53:02):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (53:02):
And my next hard lock, john is gonna be It's
gonna be a high one Baltimore minus nine. I'm just
going with again. Well, I was speaking about earlier. Do
I think Denver can beat Baltimore? No?

Speaker 3 (53:17):
Is Denver's defense decent? Yes?

Speaker 2 (53:19):
Is bo Knicks coming off his best game ever in
his career? Yes, I don't care.

Speaker 1 (53:24):
Baltimore is yourself, easy questions.

Speaker 3 (53:26):
Baltimore is coming off a horrible loss. Give me Baltimore
at minus nine.

Speaker 1 (53:31):
Okay, that's a good, good hefty pick there. That's a
lot of points. But you think the Baltimore will rebound,
it's a good probably good place to bet it.

Speaker 3 (53:42):
Wimpy, wimpy, wimpy.

Speaker 1 (53:43):
Alright, alright, I'm gonna go with the Rams minus one
and a half. They're playing at Seattle. We talked about
the weapons coming back. They are favored in this game,
which is kind of interesting giving it's in Seattle, but
the Seahawks have shown that the home field is not
quite what it used to be for them, considering the
game they just played the other day. So give me
the Rams minus one and a half and I'll take

(54:05):
that to the bank.

Speaker 3 (54:07):
Beautiful, John.

Speaker 2 (54:09):
My third and final hard lock is going to be
give me the Commanders minus four at the Giants. I
think Jaden Daniels is hot right now and we are
gonna take full advantage of it, and that's why we're
going with Washington.

Speaker 1 (54:28):
Yeah, that's a good one, and we're on my list
of potential picks, so I'm glad you got to them.
First makes my decision to hear a little bit easier
to go with the Buffalo Bills minus six. It is
a lot of points in a situation where Tua is
back on the field, but the Buffalo Bills are playing
at a different level right now. Josh Allen's playing a
different level right now, and I fully expect to hear

(54:49):
at home against the division rival for them to come
out and play really well. Give me the Bills minus six.
I'm not afraid of a little bit bigger spread, especially
because it's not quite seven.

Speaker 3 (54:59):
So I like six, beautiful, John, Well set m and
that does it for hardlocks.

Speaker 1 (55:13):
Yes it does. You're really good at that. Um all right, Randal.
That brings us to the final game of our episode.

Speaker 3 (55:22):
Oh it's a good one, John. It's time to play
guess the word a phrase? All right, John.

Speaker 2 (55:30):
Let's see if you can guess that word. I get
a word of phrase. You have to guess it, John, Oh,
what is the word?

Speaker 1 (55:40):
All right? Randal. So if I didn't set you up
for it, I would have thought that it was the hefty, hefty,
hefty thing you did a couple of seconds ago, because
that was pretty good that you did it on the spot. However,
I was the one who said hefty. Thus it can't
be that, you know, I'm going to say that because
it's a Halloween episode, and I think that, Uh, I

(56:04):
think it's gotta be the trigger treats. Smell my feet.

Speaker 3 (56:08):
Let's find out, John.

Speaker 2 (56:15):
Tricker treats smell my feet, John, why my feet are stinky? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (56:21):
Ding ding ding ding ding ding ding.

Speaker 1 (56:23):
I am back baby. Oh yeah, I've been so good
this season. That is six out of seven weeks for me,
the last seven weeks, wow, and six six of the
nine total this season.

Speaker 2 (56:35):
So John, you're unconscious right now, my man, un conscious?

Speaker 3 (56:40):
Good job sh Yeah.

Speaker 1 (56:43):
Well, I have nothing else to say other than the
fact that I owe it all to my keen observation skills,
because before I was not able to double task or
multitask and try to keep track of whatever you were
saying and also do my best show. But now I
feel like I've learned how do So I've got you
figured out.

Speaker 3 (57:01):
Man.

Speaker 1 (57:01):
You might have to come up with a new game,
or we might have to might have to Maybe you
can start like just laying fake stats out there or something.
I have to guess what the fake stat.

Speaker 3 (57:12):
Is, Phil like gurden do not enough as it is.

Speaker 1 (57:17):
Yeah, you're just guessing anyway to this point. So all right,
well that brings us towards the end of the episode. Ran. Well,
I know it's very late for us right now, so
I'm gonna ask you, and I hope that you have
nothing else to say. But is there anything that we
didn't talk about that you wanted to talk about this evening?

Speaker 3 (57:33):
Nope, that is all John.

Speaker 1 (57:35):
All right, well then I need to do your best
song here to bring us home to the end of
the episode, and everybody, thanks for joining us. Until next time.
Enjoy your week, Enjoy week nine around the NFL.

Speaker 2 (57:49):
Goodbye, goodbye, good friends, goodbye.

Speaker 3 (57:54):
It is finally hallo ween.

Speaker 2 (57:59):
There is good there's goblins, and there's bought tonight.

Speaker 3 (58:04):
I can't wait till we all put on a man,
put on the mask. So long friends, Whippy whipp
