when the Lord had me do this. We've talked about

power journey, right, what is going to make you powerful
in your walk with the Lord. And then it's got
a prayer for you to pray and an action step.
I love action steps. You know, it takes faith to
please God. And it also says faith without works is dead.
Faith without works is dead. So we have to take steps.

We have to take steps. So today we're talking about
number five and it's called Rooted in His Love. Now,
before we hit that, I want to talk to you

about today being rooted in His love and the scripture
we're going to talk about is Ephesians three seventeen and eighteen.
I love this scripture. Listen to this, and I pray

that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power,
together with all the Lord's Holy people, to grasp how
wide and long and high and deep, Wide and long
and high and deep is the love of Christ. So
I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,
(03:37):
may have power. Now this reminds me right now while
I'm recording this, it is late spring. We're headed towards summer.
So we're in the middle of May, and I am
planting plants right now. We've already just done our landscaping,
bought a couple of trees, put in some new shrubs,
ripped out some old shrubs. And I'm going to tell
(03:58):
you this right now, had three shrubs in the in
the front of our house that they got way bigger
than we expected. We thought they would be like, you know,
three feet wide and maybe two feet high at the most,
and they were like six foot wide and they were
so big they were as tall as me that they
are like five foot tall, and they were taking over
(04:20):
the front of the house. Well, this scripture reminds me
of that because to get them out was no easy task.
They were rooted and they were established. They were rooted
and established, and it literally took grown men and shovels
to dig these deep, deeply rooted and established bushes out.
(04:43):
That's what it took. It was a lot of work.
It was not easy, but they came out. And that
so that makes me think of this when when it
says I pray that you being rooted and established in love,
so we're to be rooted like that in love. What
love is that the love of Jesus. And we know
that because of how this scripture ends. But I pray
(05:07):
that you being rooted like deeply rooted and established. When
you're established, you're not moved by the winds of life.
You're not moved by the storms and the rain. Your
roots on the underneath are as big, if not bigger,
than what we see on the top of the soil. Right. So,
being rooted and established in love, that you may have
(05:28):
power together with all the Lord's Holy people to grasp. Okay,
so because of this rootedness, we're gonna get it. We're
gonna get a revelation of his love, and we're gonna
have power together with all the Lord's Holy people to
grasp to. You know what it is to grasp something,
(05:49):
to grab a hold of, to grab a hold some
of something, to grasp How wide, how long, how high,
and how deep is the love of Jesus? How wide
and how long and how high and how deep is
the love of Jesus. Wow. In other words, man, you
(06:11):
got to you got to get a revelation of this love.
And how you get that is you keep staying planted.
You stay planted and established in love, that you might
have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to
grasp this, to comprehend this, to know it, to understand
how much love the Lord has for you. Now. The
(06:34):
power insight I'm sharing today is when you understand the
depth of the love of Jesus for you, it transforms
how you see yourself and others. You are deeply valued
and empowered to love boldly in return. I love this.
I love this. When you understand, when you can begin
(06:54):
even to begin to comprehend how deeply Jesus loves you,
It's gonna transform you, sister. It's gonna transform you in
the way that you see yourself. We talked about in
one of the one of the podcasts on the series
about the mean girl in our head. We cannot let
the flesh and the arrows of the devil and all
(07:16):
of the things we've been through to let that mean
girl be what speaks to us, tells us who we are,
what we can do, blah blah blah, No, no, no.
When we understand how deeply loved we are by Jesus,
we will be changed. We will be changed, we will
(07:38):
be transformed, and we will see not only ourselves in
the light of the love of Jesus, but others. Wow,
I love this because we you know, I'm trying to
make these about fifteen minutes long, but I think this
one's gonna be longer because I want you, sister, to
(07:59):
be free. I want you to understand and know how
much Jesus loves you. It don't matter if the mean
girl in your head tells you that you're not as
good as so and so, that you're too fat, that
you're too unhealthy, that you're a bad mom, you're that
you blew it on this, and you blew it on that.
I mean the devil. The devil and the mean girl,
(08:20):
they join in together, and they will condemn you because
you didn't pray long enough, or you didn't give enough money,
or you didn't give enough time. That guilt, that that
is a killer, And it is not. It is not
what You're gonna be rooted and established in. You're gonna
be rooted and established in in love and the Scripture.
(08:43):
And I pray that you, being rooted and established in
love the love of Jesus, may have power together with
the Lord's Holy people, I mean all of the Kingdom
people grasping together this great love. Why because this love,
this love of Jesus, caused him to lay his life down,
to allow himself to be crucified and put down a cross.
(09:06):
And he died for you because of the great love
of the Father. He did this through Jesus. So this love,
this love that comes through Jesus, it is it is
your value. It is what makes you valuable. Not only
did he create you and your mother's inform you, and
he knew you, and he destined you to greatness, and
(09:30):
he knew your beginning from your end, and he knitched
you all together being the quirky, crazy, hot mess you are,
just like me. He made you, specially, made you individual,
He made you unique. He gave you a unique calling,
just the right to be yourself because of that love.
Not only that, but the fact that he died on
(09:51):
a cross for you. He loves you so much and
why so you would have a future and hope you
would know this. So let's talk about this. The other
two points in here power insight. When you understand the
depth of the love of Jesus for you, it transforms
how you see yourself and others. That's so important. It's
vitally important to have a grasp on how much you
(10:12):
are loved and valued. An action step that you can
take in this to know that you are rooted in
His word and to make this root grow is to
keep your eyes open and your ears listening to the
leading of the Holy Spirit, not only to encourage you,
but to encourage you and to show you how to
(10:34):
reach out to others. Keep your eyes open and your
ears listening to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and
share encourage, prey for, and and or love on the
women Jesus shows you today that includes you, that includes you.
Cut yourself a break, don't be dim and don't dim
your light, don't dim down, and don't dumb down for anybody.

I love that the Lord gave me that phrase, and
I love it because it's so true. It's so easy
for us to not be who we really are because
of criticism or whatever it might come. But yet that's
the unique way God created you to be effective in
the earth and to be able to reach other people.
So for an action, I want you to keep your

eyes open and your ears listening to the leading of
the Holy Spirit, and then share encourage and love on
yourself and the women that he shows you. And then
I'd love for you to pray this prayer. This prayer
is so powerful, So prayer after me. Lord, thank you
for your unlimited love for me. I thank you that
(11:39):
I remain rooted in that love and I have your
power to grasp how big you love me. You love
me deeply, and I ask that you enable me to
extend that same love, which is your life changing love,
(12:01):
to others. Give me eyes to see and ears to
hear as you lead me in your great commission. Whoo.

that you are a force to be reckoned with in

the spirit, that you are hot and on fire for
God and for Jesus, and that you are being led
