what are you investigating? I don't, I mean just kind of feel mean
on what? Well, I'm I'minvestigating the Karen Swift murderer. Okay.
And and that's what the threat wasabout, was that, I guess whatever.
But so where was where were youguys exactly when this happened. We

were at Corner Market, little conveniencestore right up just down the road.
Okay, I'm in there looking fordid he just happen to run into y'all,
and I'm he he was. Ithink he was looking when he came

in. Of course, it's donework for me and has done a work
for a lot of people. Yeah, and I and I know that that
had just had work done on himanyway, So myself are shitting there drinking
coffee, and comes in just gotyou know, hey, guys, what's

going on? How you doing?Just you know, you know, which
is just kind of like a Imean, it's a little convenience store,
and everybody knows everybody. Yeah.Then you know, just starts talking and
and he says, uh, hesays, do you know where I you
know, do y'all know where Ican by? Do you'll know? We're
like, yeah, you know,we all know everybody knows. Yeah,
so we we're kind of thinking whensomebody asked, I want him to do

some kind of work, yeah,you know, every want him to do
something. Yeah. Uh and andand so you know, he said,
well, he said, well,him and his wife have been putting stuff
on Facebook about you know, everythingthat's been going on. I don't I

don't do face, I don't dosocial media, so I don't. Now
I see what's in the paper,you know, when you're hear hearsay.
But that's about it. I mean, there's nothing, and I don't know
what puts on their or what whoanybody what, Well, that's the same
thing. They ain't said nothing,So you know, I don't I don't
know what that was all about.Personally, I have no I have no

idea. Don't you don't care,it doesn't affect me. And so then
then we're all sitting there just youknow, hang that he's he said,
well, I'm you know, I'mgonna have a talk with him or you
know, it's not something of thatnature. And he listened. He says,
y'all, don't think I killed thatUh y'all, y'all don't think I
killed her? Killed that girl?Do you? I'm like, you know,

I don't really, I don't haveany opinion one way or the other.
And nobody said he killed her either, right, so you know,
nobody. So it just kind ofkind of I'm actually my wife talked to
my wife a while ago and Itold her, but I said, kind
of, you know, kind ofput you on the spot. Yeah,

I mean, if somebody asks you, hey, well you don't think I
killed her, do you? Thinking? Man? Why do you call?
When he asked me, he said, what he looks at me? So
who are you? I told her, I said, he kept looking like
you knew me. Well he doesn'tknow me. Everybody this town knows me
because and I said, I'm andhe says, okay, I know,

you know, I know who youare now and you know everybody knows town
and mm hmm okay, yeah.Or so I mean every time we see
him out somewhere, other are alwayslike, hey, it's kind of one
of these you know, yes,people know who she is, and she
just kind of keeps her stealthy.She doesn't you know, she doesn't.
She doesn't hob No, she's notlike I'm not going to the country club.

You know, that's not her style. So anyway, you know,
that was how the you know,I guess that was how the conversation said,
well, here are you know?I was just fixing and get him
on the phone and calling mm hmm. And you don't say we don't know.
You know, I'll get him onthe phone if you want to talk
to him. Because we all thoughtthat, right, you know, that's

what That's why when everybody we automaticallyassume, which we shouldn't, I guess
you know him, but he hehad just had some work done and everything
else was you know, automatically assumesomebody's going to look for trouble, right,
you know, not not in youknow, he wouldn't you know what.
And he he was just had somegone and we just got through talking
about you know, it had hadthe keyway done. He said, he

oh, it's just a casual conversationthat it turned pretty quick. Okay,
so did he how was he beingtowards you? Was he being confrontational towards
you? No? No, no, so none of us. Yeah,
no, he wasn't conversational towards me. I've never had any any dealings with

him other than you know, justkind of knows who you know, everybody
knows who he is. I mean, he's right. What else so he
would look in for? He asked, y'all where the tell tell me what
else happened and what else? Hesaid, Well, that's pretty I mean,
that's that's kind of it was justthe other you know, the casual
conversation is looking for and because heand he kept he said to three times

at him and we all know everybodyaround everybody knows everybody's small town and and
that it was just he so Ithink I'm gonna go talk to him,
and he said, no, don'tget him on the phone and it's trying
to call him. We'll look athim, he said, I'll just don't
talk to him. I don't knowwhich way he turned. I don't know
what he said, but he camein the store and I mean he was

looking for um hum and then thenthen left. It didn't know, I
didn't didn't buy anything, and itwas just kind of trange. This isn't
just so you know, this isn'tthe first episode like this. And he
did the same He did the samething with well Down to tell him to

shut their mouths. Basically, wow, So that's kind of yeah, I
don't I don't say. I don'tdo social media, so I don't keep
up. Yeah, I kind ofI don't get anybody's business. And that
that just kind of made me.You made me feel calm. Yeah,
it awkward, make anybody feel uncomfortable. I mean it was you know,
it was just kind It was notsomething that I was used to think by

any means. But uh so didhe say anything to the effects of tell
him to stop or tell him toshow his mouth or nothing like that,
if he if he did, ifyou did, Heather, I didn't catch
it, or or I really Ireally don't know. I just kind of

I was I was more shocked atthe conversation, was actually happy and that
we were you know, mm hmmm, that this was going on, and
I'm thinking, you know, isthe last thing I want to do is
get in thlongs. You know.That's and that's kind of I tried to
talk. He wouldn't even talk tome. Yeah, oh m hmm,

all right, so that yeah,that's uh, you know, of course
I don't want to be involved,but no, of course you don't.
I mean, you know, Imean, I'm sure you're the thrilled that
