okay because I mean he's really quite fabulous.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Show sig.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Well Netan Yahoo has finally said it out loud. We're
gonna talk about the latest developments in Gaza or what's.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
Left of it.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
Also a smile on that. You know, that's entertainment, honey.
We're gonna be talking a lot about entertainment, including a
video from Britney Spears.
Speaker 4 (01:15):
Uncensored, Unfiltered, un Hinged, East Koel Cast listen daily on
your favorite streaming service.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
It is the crowd Cast. I am Correll, so very
glad you are joining me. All right, We've got a
lot to talk about on this Tuesday, August fifth. I
hope you're having a grand and glorious time, whatever day
or whatever time you are listening to this. I think
we're gonna have those strobe flashes again today. I gotta
figure out what that is. But until we do, just
go with it. Pretend we're doing disco honey.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
All right.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
So this morning it was released that Netan Yahoo has
said the you know, private part out loud. They're going
to fully occupy Gaza.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
That's it. They're taking it over. And why they're going
to be allowed.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Why the world will condemn it, according to sources, condemn
it but not stop it. I am so sick of
condemnation of things that people should actually be stopping. Oh
we condemned this, we condemn Yeah, but you ain't doing
crap about it, are y? You know, thoughts and prayers,
(02:28):
same thing. It's like, who the hell cares thoughts and prayers?
Who cares? Does nothing? So they're going to condemn it,
but they're still going to take it over. So it
was genocide. It was intentional genocide to remove them from
there and not allow a Palestinian state. What the world
should do at this point right now? What the world
(02:51):
should do is recognize a Palestinian state. That's what the
world should do. The world should recognize a Palestinian state.
That way, if Israel takes it over, they're committing an
act of war.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
But the world won't. So that's you know that it
is what it is.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
I wish you know, the Jews are not the Jews
in Israel, the Jews running Israel. I don't even know
how to say this anymore, because we have American Jews
that do not support this, that do not support the
annexing of Gaza, the occupations of We have Jews that
are not jiggy with it, and yet Israel is going
to do it. So these same Jews that are not
(03:34):
jiggy with net and Yahoo taking over Gaza are also
pro Israel. And now FEMA is threatning to cut funding
to any state that does not support Israel. We are
being forced to support something that I don't agree with,
and I know that many of you Jews do not
(03:56):
agree with. And so what do we do. Jews are
not happy that their country is doing this. The Gozens
certainly aren't happy. The Arabs aren't happy.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
What do we do? You know, I'm so sick of just.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Two or three people in the world screwing everything up
for everybody. Donald Trump, Benjamin Netanyah Who, and Vladimir Putin.
If those three people drop dead tomorrow, the world would
be such a better place. Stroke, heart attack, coronary artery, disease,
hit by a bus, whatever, you They're old, all three
(04:34):
of them are old white men. And if they would
just drop dead, not be assassinated, although Putin probably stands
a bigger risk of that than anybody. If they would
just drop dead, the world would be such a better place,
you know. And so we have this out of control
Benjamin Nettannah Who doing something that Jews do not want done.
(04:59):
I'm gonna majority of Jews don't want Israel to occupy Gaza.
But Trump said it at the beginning. Oh yeah, let's
take it over, make a riviera. It's beautiful beachfront. We
knew this was coming, and here it is. And it's
the same with Donald Trump. So many people condemn what
he does. Oh, we condemned this. We condemn that. We
(05:21):
condemn what he's doing to trans people, we condemn what
he's doing to these people. We condemn what's going on
in Texas. The world is full of a whole lot
of condemnation, but not anyone doing crap about it. We
condemn what Ice is doing, then stop them, stop Trump,
stop net and Yahoo.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Oh we can't. We can just condemn it.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
What what?
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Let me this right? You can't stop them, but you
can just condemn them, you know.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
I just I'm I'm at a loss. I'm at a loss,
I really am I How do we stop Netanyahu? How
do we do that? How do we stop him from
taking over Gaza? Well, the easy answer is recognize a
Palestinian state.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
Period.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
They've already floated the idea. Canada, France, do it recognize
the Gaza strip as part of a Palestinian state, and
if he occupies it, he's committing an active war. See.
The problem is that net and Yahoo has no repercussions
for his actions. Same with Donald Trump. These are willful,
(06:33):
disobedient children who will keep disobeying until they're stopped, and
no one is stopping them. All right, are you a
patron of the show yet? Patreon dot com forward slash really, Carrell?
Even five bucks a months will help Patreon dot com
forward slash really, Carrell? And are you subscribed to my
YouTube channel? YouTube dot com forward slash Really Correll. My
(06:57):
name is spelt ka r e l. Are you subscribe?
I've got my YouTube channel yet?
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Why not?
Speaker 1 (07:01):
I got a new subscriber yesterday at lunch. The South
African waitress at liziz Uh. She subscribed. She's gonna listen
to the podcast. Hi, honey, thank you for all the
wonderful food and for not being freaked out about my dog.
H So, you know, come on subscribe YouTube dot com,
Forward slash really Carrell. Like the videos, share the videos,
(07:22):
and become a patron at Patreon dot com. Forward slash
really Correl. You know, I want to just talk today
about entertainment, That's what. And I have a video from
b When we come back from from the quick Little break,
it's gonna start with a video that Britney Spears posted today.
The girl needs help. The girl needs help, I mean
(07:43):
serious help. So we're gonna start with that video when
we come back from the quick break. And it's I mean,
I hate to even show it. I feel like I
feel bad for her, So we'll we'll talk about that.
And other entertainment is the era of the star Dead.
Have stars fallen from the sky? We will talk about that.
(08:06):
But I had to, of course, talk about Netanyahu's saying
the quiet part out loud. We're just gonna occupy Gaza.
We're gonna take it over. You know, in any other
generation he'd be stopped dead. He's as bad as what.
How come he's not being treated like Vladimir Putin. Vladimir
Putin wants the Ukraine, it's not his, he wants it,
(08:27):
he's gonna try to take it by force. Well, Natan
Yahu wants Gaza. It's not his, but he's gonna take
it by They're the exact same thing, except Israel is
Russia and Gaza is the Ukraine. So why are we
on Ukraine side against Russia but not on Gaza's side
(08:50):
against Netan Yahu? Isn't that something? Think about that? It's
a completely flipped script. Why because I guess for decades
we've supported them, So I guess, even though they're doing
wrong things, we're gonna support them. And that's I don't
(09:14):
want to. If Israel occupies Gaza, it was genocide and
an act of war, and net and Yahoo should be
tried as a war criminal, that's simple, and all aids
should be cut off to Israel, just like we've cut
off all aid to Russia period. How come what's good
for the goose and good for the gander because the
(09:34):
gander's Jewish. So if Vladimir Putin converted to Judaism, he'd
be able to invade Ukraine with our blessing.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
It would appear all right.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
When we come back, I'm gonna check the chatroom at
YouTube dot com forward slash really Correll, and I'm going
to play you this video that I saw on social
media this morning, which I'm spending too much time on.
I've already you know, there's a situation going on in
La with a gay bar, and I've gotten myself in
the middle of it, and I don't really want to
be in the middle of it.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Maybe I'll tell you about that when we come.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
Back, too, because it appears that gays have forgotten about
the Met Too movie, so we'll talk about that. And
they're being weird again, you know, me in the gay
we have this, we're having one writing my own connoe.
They're calling me names and everything.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
Oh yeah, hell haf no fury like a gay that
you disagree with.
Speaker 1 (10:29):

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Okay, let's see if this works.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
I saw this Britney Spears video online today and I
was alarmed. I couldn't even figure out the song she's
singing because the caption is, oh boy, can he really
sing so much soul in his voice? I wish I
could sing the song that way. And she's singing, and
I I thought she was perhaps singing something from Mars
(11:30):
or something. But let's let's see if I can trigger
this and see if it happens.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
A vague watching you loa Georgia?
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Yeay, learn than God?
Speaker 4 (11:58):
A vage what you who?
Speaker 2 (12:06):
Duck Georgia?
Speaker 1 (12:10):
Okay, I can't watch any more of that. It's just painful,
just painful. So I believe she's singing sitting on the
dock of the bay. That voice, that woman that you
just saw made millions of dollars as a singer. Okay,
but you know her conservatorship.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
I was. I was all about freeing Brittany.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
I was. I was like, free Brittany. If she blows
all of her money, oh well, that's her money.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
She earned it.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
Free Brittany because I thought she was of sound mind
and body. But after watching that video, she is not
of sound mind and body. And she's been posting other
videos like that, and I feel bad for her, and
(13:02):
I'm thinking, you know, maybe she should have a guardian,
not so much to keep her prisoner. But I don't
think that person that we just saw should be making
all of her own life decisions. I just found that sad.
Did y'all find that sad? I found that sad. Even
(13:25):
my computer found it sad. It started doing the strobe
lighte effect again. Maybe it wants her to do a
disco dance. So I was all for free Brittany. But
now I'm like, no, just a big no. That was
a sad video, wasn't it? Oh sad?
Speaker 2 (13:42):
You know.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
The other thing was I was on social media because
I'm embroiled in the middle of a scandal. I don't
know why it started flashing all of a sudden. It
wasn't flashing earlier, and now it's flashing.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
I've got a support ticket in to try to figure
this out. But anyway, so before we talk entertainment is
the era of the star dead. Let me tell you
what I'm fighting about on social media, because I'm fighting
with two separate threads. So there's a bar downtown LA,
a gay bar called Precinct Los Angeles. During COVID, they
(14:15):
launched a GoFundMe campaign because they said over dying. So
they raised a lot of money and they made it
through COVID. Now they've launched another go fundme campaign, why
because of a lawsuit. Now I've known gay bar owners
my whole life, and I can't tell you how many
of them have been arrested. And that's the truth. The
owner of the DK West in Garden Grove got arrested
(14:37):
for laundering money through his bar. He's not the only one.
So bar owners, straight or gay, are not always the
most reputable people. So a straight white girl worked at
this Precinct LA for eight years. This straight white girl,
her name is Jessica. Then the boss, a new boss,
(15:00):
her to work the coat check for free, no wages,
and there were no charge, no fee. She used to
work it for the fee that they would pay to
check their coats. They stopped that to encourage people to
drop their pants on jockstrap night ick.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
But she worked it.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
But then she saw people having sex and complained to
the bar owner like, look, you know what, they shouldn't
be having sex, you know. He told her to get
over it, according to the complaint, which I have fully read. Also,
she brought those stress ball things to work because she
was stressing out, and I guess someone took her balls
(15:38):
and she went to get them back, and when taking
them back during the little kerfuffle, allegedly the person broke
two of her fingers. So she is suing for having
to work for free the coat check, she's suing for
the damages to her fingers, and she's suing about them
not doing anything when she complained about people having sex
(16:01):
in public in her view, and then they told her,
you know, a gay person wouldn't complain about this, so
they fired her and hired a gay person. Now that
all of that is in the lawsuit, I read it.
Her lawyer is despicable, Her lawyer is a homophobe. But
(16:21):
that being said, every gay person commenting is how oh
this is just another straight person trying to make us
lose our saved space. We've losing something we gotta we
must save precinct, we must give to their gofundmeme, we
must go there. And I said, wait a minute, kids,
you don't know the facts of the case. I've read
the case. If what she alleges is true, management is
(16:46):
at fault and we are supposed to believe women right
while the gays appear to not want to believe her
because she's straight and this is the truth. All the
comments are like, well, why is the straight people He
isn't even working in our bar. This is why we
shouldn't have straight people in there. And I'm like, do
you hear yourselves? If this were flipped and it were
(17:08):
a straight bar and a gay litigant saying they fired
me because I was gay, the queers would be up
in arms. But because it's a straight girl working at
a gay bar, they're attacking her. And this is why
the gay community, I feel, is its own worst enemy.
(17:29):
They are defending this bar without knowing whether the manager
did these things or not. Now, summary judgment is where
a judge says there's enough evidence to move forward.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
They have entered discovery.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
That means that it survived summary judgment, which means a
judge said there's enough evidence to move forward because they
are in discovery. Now, a lot of people are alleging
this is just another money grab from the bar. This
is their second gofund me and their legal expenses couldn't
(18:05):
have been more than twenty grand. And they don't carry
the insurance that businesses are supposed to have in case
they get sued, so they cheap out on their insurance.
They get sued by a woman that worked there for
eight years, so I would think if she had a
problem with gaze, it would have come up over the
(18:26):
eight years.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
It didn't.
Speaker 1 (18:29):
It didn't come up till a new manager came in
and she and that person had problems. But the fact
that gays are just blindly defending the bar because it's
a gay bar, so it must be all good and
the managers and owners must be great people. So I posted, hey,
(18:50):
we need to wait until the court adjudicates this.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
I've read the complaint.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
We need to make sure that we're on the right
side here, because what if management is wrong and the
gays are leaving no opening for management being wrong and
see that's what it's just like the liberals and this
Sidney Sweeney ad. Is Sidney Sweeney racist? Maybe she voted
for Trump.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
I don't know. Is the ad racist? No? Does it
bother me?
Speaker 4 (19:17):
Now?
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Then Maga and Trump are on the side of the
ad and I have to defend it. Yes, but facts
are facts. The ad just says Sidney Sweeney has good genes,
not better jeans. And now today beyonces out with a
Levi commercial. Is anyone gonna scream where are the white people?
(19:37):
So I'm fighting with the Gates? I am, you know,
and I I don't want to fight.
Speaker 4 (19:44):
With the Gates.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
And they're calling me old and boomer and they're well,
let him and some DJ. Some DJ is on there
and he's like twenty eight. I'm like, dude, I was
fighting for our right when you were being born.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
Though, sut the f up.
Speaker 1 (19:59):
You know, people online they don't talk to anybody with
respecting And this is going to go into the topic
about stars. So we'll talk to hey Carrel here, and

Speaker 1 (21:00):
Thanks for almost thirty years of support for the loudest, craziest,
most unhanded gay guy and his little dog. And let's
keep the party going as long as we can. So
(21:21):
when I say to you, I want you to name
your favorite star? Who is your favorite star?
Speaker 2 (21:30):
You know? Like star?
Speaker 1 (21:32):
Who do you think of? Who comes to mind for me?
Speaker 2 (21:35):
Immediately?
Speaker 1 (21:36):
Barbara Streissing just no joys about it. Barbara Streising Who
is your favorite star.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
You know.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
I like to talk about entertainment because I'm an entertainer.
But the sad part is, as I was talking about
respect in the last topic, about how online people now
talk to you with zero respect. They don't know who
you are, they don't know what you've done. They're just
so quick to say that they know better and that
and diss you. I think that plays into the topic
(22:09):
of I believe the era of stars are dead and
the era of celebrity is here, and there's a difference.
There is a difference between a true star and a celebrity.
Stars behave in certain ways, they do things in certain ways,
(22:30):
some very eccentric, but that's why we love them. Celebrities
come and go. We've had so many, you know, and
I think the era of the true star is over
because we're making celebrities out of just about anybody, anybody.
And what killed it, I believe, was the view that
(22:54):
entertainment is now content. Movie are no longer movies, they're
streaming content. Music is no longer music, and there's no
longer an album. It's streaming content. Companies that distribute movies
(23:15):
and music are now content providers, and subsequently, younger generations
have bought into the cult of celebrity, but not stars,
so we're not producing any, at least not many. Cynthia
(23:35):
Arrivo is a star. She has the goods on Broadway,
on film, on stage, as she just proved at the
Hollywood Bowl for Jesus Christ Superstar. She is a star.
Barbara streisand Adele Meryl Streep, Sidney Sweeney is a celebrity.
(23:57):
She's not a star. Okay, So do you think the
era of the star is over? And I do, And
I think that social media killed stars. Stars used to
have a mistique. We didn't know everything about them. We
(24:17):
wanted to know everything about them, but we didn't. I
used to be glued. Every Friday, I'd rush to the
newstand to get Rona Bart's Hollywood. Rona Barrett had a
magazine called Rona Bart's Hollywood, and I would go every
Friday to the newsstand to get it, to see if
Barbara was in there, to see if she had dinner somewhere,
(24:38):
or to see if she was filming something, or to
see if she was dating somebody or whatever. Stars had
a fourth wall between us and them, and whether we
like that or not, it actually added to the mystique.
Michael B. Jordan says the exact same thing. He is
not on social media. Michael B. Jordan is not accessible
(25:04):
to the masses online and subsequently he's becoming a very
big star. Celebrities they they'll they'll let you watch them poop.
I mean, you know, there's no secrets that everything they
do is online. But stars, and that's why I struggle.
(25:24):
I grew up as an entertainer in the era of
the star and the behavior of a star, and I
don't mean the diva behavior. I just mean that you
were respectful to your fans, but you didn't make your
fans your friends. There was there was a wall there
a few fans they did.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
You know.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
I've met many celebrities as a journalist and with some
became friends, but not with everybody, not every celebrity I befriended.
It's to me, it's better when there's a mystique around
the person. Nowadays, before we go to a movie, we
know everything to know about the actor or actress, like everything,
(26:06):
who they're dating, what they're where they're going, and it
takes away it cheapens them. And that's what's happened to stars.
They have been diminished and cheapened, just like online. I said,
no one gives respect to anybody anymore, no one respects
stars anymore, and subsequently we're not making them. Michael Jackson
(26:30):
was a star. That was a star, you know, And
I could go down the line. When I was younger,
Robert Redford, Paul Newman, Carrie Grant lived with Randolph Scott
as a gay couple. Cary Grant was gay and he
lived with Randolph Scott, and everybody knew it in Hollywood,
but the public didn't. And the public that did know
(26:53):
from the stories that were printed look the other way. Nowadays,
they would they chase down Carry Grant and Randolf Scott
until they got the photos of them naked by the
pool or whatever. We can't have stars like James Stewart,
May West. These were stars and I missed that era.
(27:15):
I missed that era of our entertainers not being so accessible.
I don't think it's helped Elizabeth Taylor, Thank you, Sandy,
Oh god, yess, oh my god. Madonna is a huge
star and still is, you know. So I ask you
(27:38):
for the comments down below.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
When you think of.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
A star today, who are they making that stars today?
Speaker 2 (27:45):
Who? Who Adele. Who else?
Speaker 1 (27:50):
And I mean a star someone that you're like, oh god,
you know wow, look at their because stars were talented,
most most true stars were talented, and we were in
awe of their talent. How does Meryl Streep morph into
so many different characters just seamlessly? How did Betty Davis?
(28:15):
What a star?
Speaker 2 (28:15):
Betty Davis? Joan Crawford lover or hater? That was a star?
Speaker 1 (28:22):
Who today rivals those Marilyn Monroe, James Dean Montgomery Cliff
who today rivals those people? Or is that era over?
I think it's over. We've left the era of the
star with talent to the celebrity with no talent, whose
(28:44):
only talent is being famous. We now live in an
era where fame is for fame's sake.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (28:53):
You're famous for just being famous, not for what you do.
And that reflect that poll we took for kids wanting
to be YouTubers. They didn't say they wanted to be actors, actresses,
whatever they said YouTubers. YouTubers are famous just for being famous.
They're not They don't do anything special. Half of them
(29:13):
just do ridiculous stunts. So do you believe the era
of the star has morphed into the era of the celebrity,
and in your mind, who's the stars of today or
are there any Julia Roberts is a star, but what
actors and actresses today rival those? Cynthia Revo who eats?
(29:38):
I think Jonathan Bailey's going to be a very interesting
leading man in time to come. And Glenn Powell. Glenn
Powell is a star. He is going to be around
a long time because he's talented, and he's handsome, and
he's not as accessible as everybody else that he's keeping
(29:58):
back a little bit.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Of course.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
I'm a star, honey, I am Corell. Everybody is a star.
According to Sylvester, everybody is a star.
Speaker 2 (30:07):
I am Corel be who you want to be found
