(00:03):
Travel, life and fun listening tothe Life at Dangerous podcast present it by
Say What Radio. Welcome to anotherepisode of the Life Adventurous Podcast. I'm
Jenny Hollow, your host, andthis is the place to be if you
(00:25):
want to explore things relate to spirituality, travel, adventure, especially you want
to have the conversations that go alittle deeper and have you think and to
expand not only your mindset, yourbeliefs, your views of the world,
and especially your consciousness. So welcometo the show. Today's episode. I
(00:48):
have a really deep desire to reallyjust speak in the flow and have a
little chat. I was, Ihave an apple my iPad, I'm a
little chat about life. So Ihave an app on my iPad that's a
puzzle app and almost I don't know, a lot of nights I'll do puzzles
(01:10):
before I go to bed. Andby puzzle, I mean like like here's
the picture and here's all the puzzlepieces and put them together, that type
of a puzzle. And this morningI was doing a puzzle and I was
just thinking about how puzzles are verysimilar to life and how it relates to
the puzzle of life. Because whenI'm working on puzzles, what I usually
(01:36):
start with is I create the edges. I put all the edges out first,
so I have the frame and whatI'm working with, and then I
can look back and forth over tothe picture of what it is that I'm
creating, and I can then, you know, find the pieces that fit.
And it dawned on me today howthe experience of putting the pieces of
(02:01):
a puzzle together to create the biggerpictures so similar to life, because there
are so many different ways that wecan approach it. And I would venture
to say that the way or someof the ways that you may choose to
approach a puzzle, whether it bea physical puzzle or on an app would
be potentially similar to how you mayapproach certain things in your life. And
(02:22):
here's where I'm going with this.So I notice it sometimes I get a
little, you know, a littlebit like impatient. I'm like, oh,
come on, I don't want thispuzzle to be over, Like it's
so quick. All these puzzle pieceslook the same and I don't know where
they go, and this is sofrustrating, and I'm kind of starting to
get a little cross side looking atthem, and nothing seems to be fitting
(02:44):
and I'm losing my patients, andI in those moments will keep pushing through,
like, oh, I gotta getit, I gotta get it,
I gotta get it. And thegift that I have through this experience is
that a lot of times I'm doingthis right before bed, and so as
I'm doing the puzzle, I'm gettingreally sleepy, and so I can't push
(03:04):
through because I'm tired. It's timeto shut the puzzle and put it away.
And a lot of times I'll besummary between like fifty and eighty percent
down with the puzzle, and Ireally wanted to finish it before I went
to bed, but I have toput it over to the side and just
go to sleep. I would sayalmost every time, like clockwork, the
(03:27):
next day or the day after, when I opened the puzzle again, those
pieces that felt so challenging that Icouldn't figure out where they went are the
easiest pieces to place, Like Iusually finished the challenge the puzzle within seconds,
Like it doesn't take very long tofinish that last little bit. It's
like, oh, I can seeso clearly where everything goes and how I
(03:53):
mean, this is such a metaphorfor our life. Because how many times
are you faced with a puzzle,a challenge, something you're trying to figure
out and put all the pieces, figure out where the pieces go, and
some things look the same, andsome things feel like they don't fit,
and you're wondering if you're ever goingto get this puzzle put together of your
(04:18):
life, of this scenario, andif you're willing to take a deep breath
and to work on it piece bypiece, and even like in the example,
I had come back with a freshperspective and be more in a state
of flow with it, how mucheasier things can be. But there's a
lot of us who have been taughtI want to say by culture because that's
(04:42):
how I can relate. But family, culture, friends, TV, media,
I don't know. There's so manydifferent influences that we have, but
we are taught to just push through. And sometimes it makes sense to push
through, but a lot of timeswe think that pushing through has to be
the norm, that it is absolutelynecessary to just trudge through everything. Let's
(05:06):
bring this back into like me doingthe puzzles before bed, I'd say,
on average, so what I'm pickingin the puzzles is I am picking one
hundred and sixty eight pieces, andI'm not having them jumbled up like if
you were to pour out puzzles ona big table at home in the physical,
they would be flipped over, turnedevery direction, like all of mine
(05:27):
are facing the proper way, andI pick one hundred and sixty eight pieces,
and on average, those puzzles usuallytake me between fifteen and twenty five
minutes to finish. And so withthat being said, you know, before
bed, like, is it reallyworth it for me to trudge through and
(05:47):
force complete a puzzle when I'm tired, I can't see straight, my eyes
are closing, I'm becoming more andmore frustrated. And really, in those
times when I do push through, those puzzles are taking me somewhere between thirty
and forty minutes to complete something thattypically takes me, as I mentioned,
(06:10):
fifteen to twenty five minutes. Thesame applies in our lives. The same
exact thing applies in our lives whenwe are pushing through beyond the point where
we can't see straight, because wejust have to keep going. We have
to prove something. A lot oftimes this has to do with our egos,
has to do with us proving orworth proving that we're good enough feeling
(06:32):
on purpose and whatever other reasons arecoming to mind that I'm not mentioning right
now that you and know for surea part of your experience. Is it
really worth it to spend the extraten fifteen minutes to finish the puzzle just
to prove a point that you couldfinish it quote unquote before bed or is
(06:57):
it easier to finish it, possiblyand quicker than the time you usually do
when you come with a fresh mindand you can see things clearer. And
if we really take this into thephysical and you have a puzzle out in
front of you and you have tolike turn all the pieces and you just
want it done, and it's sofrustrating to turn them all over, you
know, and you're like, God, I gotta get this all done now.
(07:18):
There's just so much like anxiety andfrustration and like, I don't know,
just think about all of the emotions, all of the thoughts, all
of the things that have come upfor you if you do physical puzzles,
or maybe it's been a while orthat would come up with you if you
had a physical puzzle in front ofyou in order to complete it. I
know, for some of you, you'd be like, well, I need
(07:39):
my table back, so I needto complete this quickly. Others of you
would be willing to just you knowwhat, I'm gonna come work on this
puzzle each day, and when Inotice that I'm hitting my limit, when
I notice those feelings come up whereI start to feel frustrated or anxious or
annoyed, or you know where Ifeel like, oh, this is the
(08:01):
point where I push through, andthat's the moment I choose to stop,
and I choose to come back thenext day, Then the puzzle becomes a
very peaceful, enriching activity. Thatsame thing is available in our life.
Same thing is available in our life, and I'm going to bring this into
(08:22):
something that I myself, I couldrelate to this puzzle experience where like,
over and over and over, I'mforcing, I'm pushing, I'm stressing about
money or how are things going tohappen? Or how is this going to
come together? All those things,And each day that I hit that limit
and I push more trying to makethings happen, or the days that I
(08:48):
lose all connection from the flow, the connection to the flow and how we
experience peace in our life they correlate, they go hand in hand. One
can support the other and the othercan support. They work together. The
flow state that a lot of uscrave, that we want to experience is
(09:09):
achieved through different ways, and alot of times it's achieved through us working
on ourselves and to be able tobe gentler with ourselves, to give ourselves
grace, to be able to unwindfrom the stories and the beliefs in the
programs that brought us into that position. So I'm feeling guided right now.
(09:35):
I've been holding onto this oracle deckthe whole time. It's the work youright
oracle deck to pull a card forus collectively listening. Whether you're listening when
this podcast came out or in thefuture, it doesn't matter. This card
is for you in the moment thatyou're listening to it. So let me
go ahead and pick one here. And I'm actually shuffling in the way that
(09:58):
I do it. As I shuffleuntil something comes out, my intention is
is what is the message that cansupport us? Okay, Like four cards
came out there? Three? Didyou know what these three cards? I
was going to put them back.Usually when three come out, I put
them back because it's just a lotof energy, and usually I'm looking for
(10:20):
one maybe two max. But Iwas inspired to turn these over look at
what they were and their perfect supportfor this. So the first card is
yes, just say yes. Idon't even have to read the book because
the book literally says yes, likeone hundred times yes yes, yes,
yes, yes, yes, yesyes yes. The second one is share
(10:41):
your voice, come out of thecave expression, and the third one is
take a break, a life's work, not a season, get off the
treadmill. These are the perfect cardsto support us in this moment where we're
talking about life being like a puzzleand how are we handling this and how
(11:05):
are we supporting ourselves to really stepinto more flow. Here you go,
Here are the steps to support yourselfto be in more flow. Yes,
just say yes, followed by sharingyour voice, coming out of hiding,
sharing your authentic truth, speaking fromthe heart and the soul, showing your
(11:28):
light coming out, and sharing theimpact that you have to make on the
world. The thing is with theshare your voice card that relates to our
message here that the guides are sharingright now is that you don't have to
wait for the puzzle to be completed. To share your voice. It's very
(11:50):
similar to doing the puzzle. Youcan share your voice bit by bit,
day by day, and eventually thewhole puzzle comes together. And the third
one, take a break. It'sa reminder when we hit those moments when
we're coming close to our edges,to get off the treadmill and to take
a break. And that's super basicand it's most basic sense. Take a
(12:13):
break. You've heard it time andtime again, and you hear it time
and time again, and for someof you, my big question is is
why aren't you taking a break?I can speak from my own experience.
I have been learning how to recognizewhen I'm coming close to those edges so
(12:35):
that I can back off and takea break. Also coupled with being willing
to push through certain times, butalso recognizing that I've got to give myself
some space on the other side, that this is something that ebbs and flows,
and so how can you support yourself? And I'm just going to bring
(12:56):
it back to the puzzle metaphor,is it necessary to complete the whole puzzled
for today? Like in this moment, isn't necessary? Most times, it's
not. What I find is theeasiest way to complete a puzzle is I
start with the edges and then Ilook at the puzzle picture and I say,
(13:16):
okay, what is going to bethe easiest thing for me to be
able to complete. So with someof these puzzles, there may be complex
buildings or repeating patterns, and thoseare gonna be a little more challenging because
a lot of the pieces are goingto look very similar and you have to
pay attention to detail. And thenthere's other pieces. Maybe there's like the
top of It, where it's justI like to on landscape stuff, So
(13:37):
like the top of It's a beautifulsky and it's pinks and purples and oranges
like those are joyful and very easyfor me to put together. And I
continue to work at the puzzle pieceby piece, pulling the most easy things
together and allowing myself to look atthe pieces while also looking at the whole
picture. So even though I'm lookingfor the orange and pink pieces that match
(14:01):
the sky, I also have inmy awareness what else is in that picture
around the frame, so that ifI see a piece that intuitively I know
will fit perfectly around the frame,I will pull that piece out. And
a lot of the time, itfits the exact place that I thought it
would go. And then from there, when I get to the part of
(14:26):
a puzzle that is the repeating patterns, that takes a lot more focus and
concentration and attention to detail to figureout where it goes. Most of the
puzzle is filled, and it's alot easier to place those pieces in the
puzzle. How can you apply thisto your life? How can you say
yes, share your voice and takea break, to be able to support
(14:54):
you on your journey, to supportyou growing and stepping into higher levels of
consciousness, to be able to helpyou to move forward in your soul path
and your sole journey, to beable to unlock different aspects of your DNA,
(15:15):
to be able to connect deeper withyourself. It's amazing that it's right
here in the cards, these threethings. Just sitting with this for a
moment because this was really beautiful message, and I'm grateful that you're here with
me. And I'd love to hearhow this impacted you. What did you
hear, what did you receive? What made sense to you? I would
(15:37):
love I would love to hear.So whether you take a screenshot, you
know, like a screenshot of thepodcast app that you're listening to this on
and tag me at the Acostic Nomadon Instagram or you send me a message.
I would just love to connect andhear your story, hear how this
impacted you, what's going on withyou, what came up. And of
(16:00):
course I'm going to share this becausewe're in June. All of June,
I am doing all of my Kaushackrecords, readings, my packages, my
gift certificates, everything is twenty percentoff. And so if you want to
explore more and go deeper into yoursoul, your soul path, you want
to raise your levels of consciousness, you want to gain more clarity, you
(16:22):
want to step into that experience anddive a little deeper and have an activation,
Then if you go to a KaushackActivations dot com, I've got two
different codes for you. The firstcode is Soul Growth s o U l
g r OWT. That is fortwenty percent off the readings. If you
(16:42):
plug then in at the top toadd a cupon, it'll take everything off
and open that up for you.The next code is if you do want
to get a package, If youwant to buy a package of three readings.
So I just reworked my prices hererecently. So three readings package to
three readings is five eleven. Myreadings are typically two twenty two. So
(17:04):
it's like a saving of like onesixty five or one sixty four, whatever
the math is. And not onlydo you get that, you also get
twenty percent off that and so Iforget what it takes it too, but
it is a really really really goodoffer. And you have nine months to
book those readings, so you wouldget that package, or if you aren't
ready for reading in June, youcould get a gift certificate and you could
(17:27):
use that gift certificate I think thesame thing. You have nine months to
use that. So that code fortwenty percent off is sole path s O
U L PAT. So if youwant to explore and you're feeling called to,
I'd love to have you joined methere. And I am also going
(17:49):
to share with you that I havesome great episodes coming up. I have
