literally sitting in a parking live andworking in my car for the beast hour

this episode. I'm really really excitedto share because I've been pulling together my

launch this little mini series that I'mdoing about living that nomad lifestyle,

this is like a little mini series. I think I'm gonna do four or
five episodes. I'm setting the intentionfor five because I have a really great

like lineup here to really just deptha bit into travel lifestyle, nomad lifestyle,
what's involved? Because yes, Iknow, we talked a lot about
spiritual content. We've just come offan amazing couple of episodes with Rick Chinneretto
talking about Tarot and channeling the collective, and I know we're taking a bit

of a like left turn here,but you know what, it's all connected
because there are so many spiritual conceptswoven throughout today's episode and how things have
been unpacking and on you know,unwinding because May fourth, which I believe
that this is going out the weekafter May fourth, so the week after

our official two year anniversary living fulltime on the road as nomads. Holy
crap, I two years. It'sbeen absolutely amazing. There's been so many
things. And I think I sharedway back in a previous episode, like
what my nomad lifestyle was like previously. What I want to talk about is

what this journey has been like.I want to really share with you and
give you some insight into how ourjourney has been. My journey has been,
and I would like to invite youto listen. Right listen, You're
gonna hear some of this, butalso remember that your journey may be dramatically
different. Just because I've done thingsa certain way doesn't mean that has to

be your way. Be open tolistening. Yes, I know you're going
to listen with your mind, butbe open to listening from your heart and
soul to see what lands with you, what lights you up, what inspires
you, what triggers you. Iknow that's part of it too, because
there's also some growth in the triggersand where like what drops in or what

direction or things you may want toexplore if this is something that you want
to do, and even if it'snot something you want to do. I
know that a lot of you aresuper curious about our lifestyle. We do
share about it a bit on mediain our stories, and we actually so
many people ask me if we havea YouTube channel, like that's like a
travel YouTube channel, and it's somethingthat we hadn't really gotten into because let

me just tell you that capturing video, editing video and doing all that is
I can only imagine probably like afull time job doing that, and it's
just not what we decided to do. Who knows, maybe one day we
will share more of that, becausewe do have a lot of footage,
especially from the beginning. But fornow, this is what we're doing.

(04:30):
So let me give you a previewas to what's coming on these next few
episodes. So I'm going to betalking about the lessons. We're going to
be talking about like what may beholding you back from a nomad lifestyle.
I'm gonna bring my husband Jay on. He's going to talk about nomadic mindset
to help you you shift into anomadic mindset, and honestly, yes,
it ties into the nomad lifestyle.Because that's how we both are living.

And I'm going to tell you thatthere are so many powerful principles that apply
to a nomadic mindset that can applyto an every day like anybody's life,
because there's a lot of things inthere. I also am going to bring
on another nomad who's been having anamazing spiritual journey and hers she's been doing
things quite differently than me, Soso good. All right, let's get

(05:16):
into this episode. So if youhave no idea and this is your like
first time you're new to the podcast. Two years ago we started and we
decided to sell everything. We soldeverything, beds, furniture, all the
stuff. We got a little fiveby five storage and we put essentials in
there and we started off on ournomadic journey and we started in Florida,

(05:39):
the United States. And when westarted, my husband said, I am
open to doing six months, maybeup to a year, and then I
want to get backgrounded into a place. And we agreed on that because six
months is really what he wanted,but I wanted a year or more.
So that was our compromise, sixto twelve months and we'll check back in

(06:00):
and at about four months in werealized and we had a conversation, Wow,
we are really really enjoying this.Let's keep going. Let's take out
like the end of time frame,and let's just be open open to whenever
we feel guided to stop. Andwe did actually say that, like,

(06:25):
we'll know when it's time to stop. We know, we'll know. And
honestly, Year one was a lotabout like we first started off, doing
about two weeks at a time.We would go place to place, and
in the beginning that felt like along time, staying two weeks somewhere and
we would go explore things and thenwe would work and we would mix it
in between. It was super exciting. It was like, let's go see

(06:46):
the world, and I had somany places I wanted to go, Like
it was just so exciting, especiallyfor me because I freaking I'm such a
wander less soul. Okay, Sothat's how we started off in the first.
Year two was also a bit oflike feeling into each place and seeing
like is this a place we couldlive? So in a way, we

(07:08):
were kind of scouting out potential locationsto settle down, and we had started
collecting our lists like this could bea place that could be a place at
no way for that place, andalso collecting the things that, Okay,
you know, this type of lifestyleis important to us, this type of
weather, this type of community,this type of access to things. We
were collecting all of that, andnow that we are finishing year two,

(07:32):
what we started shifting into is nowwe stay primarily. Of course, we're
open to however this unfolds, butwe primarily stay for one to three months
in a place. And we reallylike this because we feel like it gives
us a sense of grounding. Wecan plug into the community, we can
go see you know, the localsites and like, for example, where
in Ashville, North Carolina right now, So I can plug into the community.

(07:56):
I can go hiking, I canexperience different live events and local things.
So it gives us a chance toget to know an area as well
as work and get into our flowand our routines with that and much more
so. As we are finishing yeartwo, I planned all of these notes

(08:18):
out and I'm sitting here pondering,going, hm, I'm even like coaching
myself in my brain to think anddream bigger and we'll see what comes out
as I'm talking. But I'm goingto share what I'm consciously aware of right
now, like what will be differentmoving forward based on my current conscious awareness.

(08:39):
Is one of the things that Iknow that's on the radar for us
is we haven't seen your dog.He's fourteen, and we don't know.
No one knows how long our animalswill be with us, or people,
humans, or any of these typesof things. We never know how long
we will be blessed with their presencein our lives. And so I know

(09:01):
that he's in that final stage ofhis life, and eventually he will cross
over the doggy rainbow. And ashe's aging, you know, things are
changing, things are different, youknow, like we're having to be mindful
and to get him out moving moreoften so as muscles don't start degrading from

(09:22):
just sleeping all the time, beingaware of his pain, and how can
we manage that for us like anatural homeopathic way. How can we find
food that he likes because he's neverbeen a picky dog, and now all
of a sudden he is. It'sbeen a bit of a change. And
yes he is a very well traineddog and he has been able to hold

(09:46):
his pee. I was trying tofigure out, like a nice way like
hold to hold his bathroom for longhours, and of course we don't do
that regularly, but of course thereare times and days where you know you're
back after a long day, andhe has been great with that. But
also being mindful that he's a seniordoggie now and so give him the opportunity
to go out more often. Hehasn't shown any signs that he needs to,
but just being aware because I wantto keep him and we want to

(10:07):
keep him moving, and so Isettle that because there's a little more focus.
And Jay and I were talking aboutthat we may want to shift some
of our free time fun adventures becausewe would do you know, like a
full day visit to a national parkcan come back, and with him being

(10:28):
older, you know, it's probablynot the best way to support him at
this point. So instead of ushaving very long excursions away, like how
can we be mindful and come backsooner, spend more time with him,
things like that, so that lifestylewill change. And also we were talking
about our priorities in a place whenwe book, so we primarily stay.

(10:54):
If you don't already know this,we primarily stay at Airbnb's furnished finders furnished
places. We primarily do that,and we don't have an RV, we
don't have a camper, or wedon't do anything like that. So we
stay at furnished homes where we havespace and comfort. And part of the
way, and I'm going to getinto this as a lesson here in a
minute, but part of the waythat we've been traveling, we've been allowing

(11:18):
the amenities and the budget to leadus to our next spot. And here's
what I mean with that. Soin year one, I really wanted to
go to like the main spots inMontana. I want to go see Mount
Rushmore and stay in that part whichis like western Montana. And when I
was looking for places, it wassummer. It was like July. Things

(11:39):
have been booked up for a longtime. There was availability. However,
the availability was more than we werewanting to invest because it wasn't a vacation
for us. This was a lifestyle. And this is about us applying,
you know, the expenses that wehad staying in downtown Saint Petersburg, Florida,
and making it, as you know, equal and equivalent as it was

(12:01):
had we been staying in our apartment, right and so I wasn't finding anything
in the place I really wanted togo, and through that we ended up
finding a place in the middle.Like we went, well if now I
jumped over to a different state,but like we went to Peer South Dakota,
and you know, I said,Montana. I met South Dakota because

(12:22):
Mount Rushmore's in South Dakota. Sowe went to Peer South Dakota, which
we weren't planning on. It wasa beautiful, amazing experience. We met
some amazing people. And then inMontana, I was wanting to go to
like Callis Bell and like all theseamazing places where all the action was,
and we ended up in Libby,Montana, and we were like in the
mountains, and I met somebody Iwent hiking with and it was just like

(12:43):
unique experience that we wouldn't have hadotherwise. Is my point. So what
I was going to say with thesenior dog part is that we are shifting
the priorities because we would like tobook a place like primarily with a back
fenced in backyard so that we canlet him out as often as he wants
to sniff and move around, andwe can let him be out there.

(13:05):
And of course doggie door is acomplete bonus. So I will be hiring
the angels to support finding us placeswith doggie doors and you know, to
give him that experience because we dotake him out three to four times a
day, but it would be niceto just let him go out as often
as he wanted. So that's somethingthat we're shifting. We're also selling our
kayak, which takes up a verylarge amount of space in the car.

(13:28):
It's not something that we've used veryoften. It's inflatable kayak that folds down
into a bag, and it's notsomething that we use very often. So
we're selling that here in where we'reat now in North Carolina, and that's
going to open up space, whichalso opens up opportunity. Like we've talked
about getting an air friar and Idon't know, like maybe what do we
want to do differently, or maybewe buy a few extra things for our

(13:50):
you know, the senior dog nichefor his comfort. I don't know,
Like that's exciting to me to kindof shift up our focus. And then
what else will be moving forward ismaybe we look into some more unique stays,
or we do something different, ormaybe I can step into and offer
live events and sessions, and Idon't know, maybe retreats. You know,

(14:16):
you can come hang out with mein this area a retreat and it'll
be divinely inspired, a Coshic Recordinspired retreat to help you transform. Maybe
it's like a three day two orthree day retreat. You come meet me
in this beautiful place and we're justlike, I don't know. There's so
many options, and these are thingsthat I want to open up to moving
forward that really shifts the experience andexpands not only for me, but she's

(14:39):
for so many people. Imagine ifI'm able to hold the space for this
expansive nature to be able to servemore people while we're on the road,
in person as well as online.There are so many lives that have the
potential of being touched and transformed andchanged. So these are some of the
things moving forward, and then whateverelse unfolds in the journey. Right,

(15:01):
all right, So let's move intolessons I have. Let's see number them
one, two, three, fouror five. I have six lessons that
I and honestly you could turn intoa couple more because some of them have
quite a few bullet points under them. But one of the big lessons if

(15:22):
I reflect back on living this lifestylefor two years as a nomad, is
the biggest lesson for me that standsout time and time again is this lesson
in trusting, trusting that I willall work out, maybe not in the
way that I expect or want ittoo, yet it will be so perfect.

(15:46):
And I say that because I havespent hours and I've learned. Okay,
I've spent hours searching, struggling tofind a place, our next spot,
where are we staying? And Ispent hours, and I'm like drained,

(16:07):
and through my drained I'm like pushingthrough and I'm like, just one
more Airbnb search, just one more, let me look at one more and
see if it's as a place.And meanwhile, like everything inside of me
is screaming, get off your phone, stop looking. Now is not the
time. And I'm like, butjust one more. And I'm drained.
I'm exhausted. I'm frustrated that can'tfind anything, and that just feeds into

(16:30):
the cycle of like there's nothing tobook. I spent so much time doing
that, and I've also spent alot of time feeling anxious, what if
we don't find a place what ifit's not as good as this place or
other places we've booked. What ifit costs more, what if it's really
far, what if it's a badplace, what if like all of these

(16:52):
what ifs and anxieties, And alot of times when these start to come
in is when we're within let's say, like two to three weeks away from
moving, and I don't have aplace booked yet, and I start looking
and I'm not finding anything. I'mnot finding anything, and I'm like,
oh many anxiety start to kick in, and all those thoughts and that energy

(17:12):
starts to come up. And whenI reflect is and I realized that looking
back at all the times that havespent way too much time or the anxieties
come up when I have paused takena deep breath, which I feel like

(17:33):
doing now because I'm just talking aboutthis. I can feel the energy of
it. I'm gonna take a deepbreath, and if you want to take
it with mutually again, so herewe go. I don't have the data
to support this, but I wouldsay that the majority of the time I
end up finding and booking a placethat's a hell yes, shortly after the

(18:00):
age or discomfort It is the momentin which I let go and I take
that deep breath and I'm willing tobe patient and know that I am supported.
Is when I end up booking something. An example, I really wanted
to come to Asheville. I wantedto experience an area that had a very

(18:22):
spiritual environment with conscious people and likewhere I could have these conversations about Akashic
records and most people would know whatI was talking about. Like, I
really wanted to come here. Andwhen I was first looking, I looked
all around the area and I wasnot finding anything that was within our budget
with the amenities we wanted. Ijust wasn't finding anything. So I was
like, all right, well,I guess I'll have to look somewhere else.

(18:45):
And I started looking, and I'lltell you that with this specific experience,
I did not go as deep intothe anxiety or the oversearching and they
like forcing it to happen. Iwasn't really in that here. And there
was another day that I ended uppopping on and I had a look,
and I found the place where we'restaying now, which was significantly significantly under

(19:08):
our budget, was a spacious environmentbecause the amount that we booked it for
if I've looked in that price rangebefore and usually like I don't know,
man, I get, I getkind of the feelings like this is not
how we want to stay. That'slike I don't know about that place and

(19:29):
for this place. Like I waslike, okay, this is great,
the hostess responding she wants to hopon a FaceTime with me to show me
the place. It was brand new, posting we were her first people to
stay, and she literally, Ithink posted it that day or the day
before, like she had just postedit and she had a lot of interest.
And I told her, I said, we're in, we'll stay a
month or two, will come Andshe was like, okay, well I

(19:49):
got some other people to talk toyou. I'll let you know. And
within like forty five minutes she messedme. She's like, okay, I
would like you to stay. You'rein. So we've been here, we
ended up a month and extended onemonth, and here we are in Nashville.
So the thing to remember here,the lesson to remember is things are

(20:11):
constantly evolving and changing. Nothing ispermanent. And this applies and these lessons
honestly apply to life. This appliesto life. Things are constantly changing and
evolving. And when you look intosomething based on your current energy, the
current information, and the current environment, the current whatever, and you maybe

(20:32):
aren't binding. Maybe it's the jobsearch, Maybe it's maybe you're swiping on
tender or something, or I don'tknow, maybe you're looking for an apartment,
or you're looking for a place,but you'r RV camper, I don't
know, whatever it is, Okay, you're looking based on that current information,
that current scenario, your current energy. Things are constantly changing the snapshot

(20:56):
that you tap into in that moment, let's say, between then and the
next time you look. And I'mgonna speak about like furnished places in the
context that we're talking about here isthere are places that will close and no
longer be available. There will benew places that will pop up. Maybe
for whatever reason, this search,the algorithm on that platform wasn't showing you

(21:18):
a spot. Maybe someone canceled andthat just became available. Maybe someone shortened
their stay. There are a millionreasons and opportunities that could then be open
at a future day to future time. And I find that the more I'm
willing to go with the flow toallow it to unfold, to trust to

(21:42):
roll with the punches. The easierit is with the less stress, the
less stress, like when we canlet go and trust and just be guided.
Right now, I guess this islesson one. A let's talk about
going with the flow rolling with punchesbecause they just said that, or maybe

(22:03):
just lesson two. We'll go withlesson two because there's six, but I
guess this might make it seven,is going with the flow rolling with punches.
One thing that I feel like wehave learned through living this lifestyle is
there are plenty of things that youaren't kind of like plenty plenty, plenty

(22:26):
plenty for us. Some of theexamples have been uncomfortable beds, uncomfortable couches,
odd layouts in a place, likechairs everywhere, like anywhere there's wall
space, there's a chair, Likewhy is there a chair here? There's
no need for a chair to behere, Like what are we like entertaining
thirty people? Like why is therea chair? Which also kind of goes
out into decore like decor that justis like maybe it's the location you're a

(22:51):
little bit further that you wanted tobe, or you didn't realize you were
as a remote as you wanted tobe, or maybe you just didn't care
for the spot that you booked.Whatever. And I want to say this
too with a caveat, because what'sgoing through my head right now is Amanda
Merit. I love Amanda Merit likeshe's a good friend of mine and she's
the one I went to the retreat. Listen to a podcast illuminated by Amanda

(23:14):
Merit totally. So one of thethings she talks about is like, never
settle, do not settle. Andthis is something that's going along with this
because I feel like, based onmy experience right I feel like there's there's
a I don't know the word Iwant to say, but there's I don't
know they're they're okay. So letme just say what's here without giving it
a label. So when I saythere's things that you won't like, I

(23:37):
feel like under what Amanda talks about, like never settling and with hiring the
angels and trusting the angels and lettinggo and letting it be guided and being
in amazing places. Some of thesethings like the beds, the couches,
the layouts to the core that couldall be very well met right. You
could be like, oh, I'msending the intention angels find me a place
that checks all the boxes with allthis, like I'm trusting, I'm allowing,

(24:00):
I'm allowing this to open up.So with that being said, I
feel like no matter what it is, whether Okay, I gave some of
the things that have happened for us, but there will be probably things that
you learn that you don't really carefor. I feel like that's part of
the discovery, that's part of theprocess. And so maybe it's not the
things I named out, because youcan manifest those things, but things don't

(24:23):
always go perfect, or you findout things that you just really didn't like
as much as you want. Maybeyou thought you want to be a little
more remote and you go there andyou're, yeah, I don't really care
for that. You know, everythingis changeable, everything is mouldible. But
I also feel that when we're willingto go with the flow and allow these
experiences to teach us new things andlook for the silver lining, look for

(24:44):
the lesson, it helps us tobe even more relaxed, less stressed,
because if you spend all your timecomplaining and be like this beat is so
uncomfortable, it's so horrible, Like, now you're spending all this effort going
into that, right, I don'tknow. This is not something I really
want to like super unpack right nowbecause I still have a few things to
get through in this podcast to share. But just one thing I wanted to

(25:07):
mention is know that you can andthis is something I'm going to challenge myself
to do as well, is invitein all the amazingness and for everything to
fit, to work out, foreverything to be super comfortable. Like I'm
definitely going to be incorporating that in. But also at the same time,
I'm grateful that we had some ofthese uncomfortable experiences that I didn't really care
for because it's continuing to just teachme a lot of lessons. What lessons

(25:32):
would you say, Well, teachme the lesson right now that I'm sharing
where I'm like, hmm, howcan I expand and how can I invite
in that I will have these amazingexperiences? But also too, like the
place we're out right now, wecan hear the dogs, so when they
get up with the dogs upstairs becausewe're staying in their basement, when they
get up with the dogs upstairs,it's usually like seven to eleven. I

(25:52):
swear it's like seven o'clock and outthe dogs go, cu cu cu cucko.
You can always hear it, andit usually wakes us up because we're
sleeping. And it's like you canhear them during the day. I can
hear them at night. You canhear them all not like middle of the
night unless they p happen and getup for some reason, which is rare.
It's within like normal hours. Butyou can hear all this and a
lot of people that would really getunder their skin. And that's fine.

(26:15):
If that's like a hard note foryou, then you're gonna make sure that
it's going to be one of yourthings, you know what I'm saying,
Like you're going to book places thatdon't have that, Like you're not going
to book in someone's basement. Butalso I feel like it allows us to
practice, this is my scenario,allows us to practice just releasing things and
letting things go, Like is itreally worth the anxiety and the frustration.

(26:37):
That's like a lot of time?All right? The next listen listen number
three that I love traveling an offseason is amazing. I have loved this
when I was a regular traveler,and I love it even more being a
full time traveler because you get togo to some of the most amazing places.
Not only an off season is itless coming out of your budget,

(27:03):
right, you can get Like whenwe were in the Panhandle in Florida,
we got a three bedroom with anoffice with a huge backyard and pool for
a little less than our budget andthat was absolutely amazing. And while we
were there, we were able totravel around and get everywhere easily because there
wasn't as much traffic because the snowbirdsweren't there, and we got to just

(27:26):
experience everything without all the additional likepotential headaches of having a huge tour group
there. And I don't know whatthe price. I don't know if they
keep their price that way you're aroundor what. But you know, if
I were to go book there now, I would be surprised if it was
like a thousand dollars more because it'sin season and I have story after story
a story of this where we've justhad amazing experiences. Like even here in

(27:48):
Nashville, we're here in spring,and we're kind of here before tour season
really kicks in, which is inthe summer. I am okay not being
places when it's massive traffic and peopleall over and you know you gotta wait
so much longer for like the popularhikes, Like I just like pulling in
and pulling out, So that isless number three, lesson number four.
I kind of talked about this,but the less must you have, the

(28:11):
easier it is to travel. Soif you have to be somewhere at a
certain time, certain date, itcan add more stress and complication of finding
a place. Example, staying inTampa Bay in November to be there for
my brother's birthday. Finding a placeat that time frame was so challenging.

(28:34):
It took me a lot of extraeffort. On granted I didn't know about
hiring the angels at the times.Knowing what I know now, I would
love to apply that concept to thatexperience, but I'm going to share base
on what I had pop up inmy life. It was so challenging to
find a place, and we spentway more over budget, and that was
like the best scenario that we couldget. And it was like going back

(28:55):
home and like we needed to bethere first wedding and we needed to be
there to go to our store JUnitstuff and had we not had to be
there right then and there, thereare so many other options in Florida that
we could have booked for, likeway Less that would have been amazing,
and we could have swung back throughthe area when things like chilled out,
you know what I'm saying. Sothat can sometimes make it a little tricky

(29:18):
if you have to be somewhere ata certain time. And of course if
you know them that then you canalways look like super in advance and you
can book super in advance and thatwill also help alleviate that too. All
right, the next one, Sowhat am I on one, two,
three, four, number five isdon't always listen to what others say.
Be willing to have your own firsthandexperiences. So a lot of people are

(29:41):
like, oh, traveling with adog is so hard, it's impossible.
Can't ever find a place. Andwow, you have two dogs, that's
so impossible. How do you evenfind places? Well, I haven't been
finding places for two years. We'reprobably like over thirty places now and it's
been great. I haven't had anyissues. It's been great. It's honestly
great. Like, yes, thereare way more options to choose from if

(30:02):
you don't travel with a dog.Like if I were looking on these furnished
places and I didn't have a dog, we would have so many more options
to choose from. Okay, thatis effect. But at the same time,
I've also booked to places that sayno dogs and the person is like
open to dogs, especially if thedogs are well behaved. And you know
what I'm saying, you have likea track record and you're able to be

(30:23):
a conscious pet owner. So there'salways options even when it looks like there's
none, even when there looks likethere's none. Another thing is people say
it travels expensive, Okay, cool, according to who or what. Once
again, there's always a way,And I feel like this ties into the
last one, like the less mustyou have, the easier it is to

travel. And I get it.Some of you listening may have jobs or
only have like a certain week forvacation or only certain time frame you can
go because the kids are on springbreak, Like I get it, But
this applies to that too, likeif you have to go these dates and
you're gonna go the place kind oflike the price is the price, right,
Like it's gonna cost what it's gonnacost versus Let's say you're like,

(31:07):
okay, well let me I'm flyingfrom this airport and I'm gonna pick the
cheapest flight I'm gonna pick. Youknow what I'm saying, Like, I'm
gonna pick a flight that's within mybudget. Let's just see where it takes
me. You know what I'm saying, Like, you can totally always find
a way to make it work.You can always find to make it work.
And the last thing I have onmy list here, like you know,

(31:30):
people are like that place is oh, you know, don't go there.
Crime is like crazy there, ordon't go there because they're not friendly
to black people, or don't gothere because fill in the blank. I
get it. And it's good tobe aware of these things. And by
far, I say safety number onepriority. You have to find what safety
is for you. Look at theproper sites, look at you know,

(31:52):
the local crime rates, look atthose things so that you're aligned with what
fits for you. My point herewas this with this as before coming here
to Asheville, multiple people in thelast place we stay'd be like, oh
my god, I don't know Ashville. It's kind of crazy there. You
probably don't want to go there,Like be careful, and yes, I've
talked to locals. Crime has goneup. There are things, but like

(32:13):
anything like, there's crime everywhere andthere's issues everywhere. So I think relative
to what it was before, relativeto where you have lived prior to here.
Like I met some people from NewYork and Chicago who are like,
do crimes like nothing here? Becauselike in those places, there's like ten
times the amount of crime. Sothis is like super chill. It's all

(32:34):
relative. So once again I saywith this one, just be make sure
that you find what safety thing orthings are necessary for you and then act
accordingly. All right, A numberone, two, three, four,
number six we're gonna end up withsix is continuing to check in. If
you are traveling with somebody a spouse, a partner, I loved on,

(32:55):
a friend, a family member,whatever, continue to check with them to
ensure both needs are met. Checkingoften. I know that one of the
things that was happening that was partof your two in our growth for us,
as I was getting a bit clingywith Jay, I was kind of
making all my decisions based on him. He was feeling a little suffocated.

(33:15):
We were able to talk through it. We hired and worked with like a
mindfulness therapist to help us really sortthat out. That helped me to step
back into my own power. Andwe are continuously checking in and communicating,
So this is really important to makesure that both people feel honored, they're
getting what they need and you canebb and flow that way. Are the

(33:35):
last little bit here that I'm goingto leave this on, and I'm super
excited for this, and some ofthis is going to be a recap based
on things I've already mentioned here isI'm setting the attention from what I'm stepping
into now. Also, as I'msharing this episode, I'm also modeling how
the things that you can do whenyou're like working through stuff. So I'm
sharing my lessons is a way foryou to learn I'm talking about. You

(34:00):
know, what I'm stepping into thisis where my mind is going moving forward
is like okay, and I've mentionedthis couple of times, like hiring the
Angels, asking for more support andguidance to lead us to the next best
steps. If you have no ideawhat I'm talking about with hiring the Angels,
I know I've mentioned a couple oftimes already on this podcast, but
the best place to learn this conceptis to buy the book by Jean Sladder

(34:21):
called Hiring the Heavens. The conceptis there are angels who are unemployed who
are waiting for us to hire them, and we can hire them for anything.
It doesn't cost any money. Really, it's rooted in belief and trust.
You're hiring them for any and everything. And Amanda Merit has a great
series on our TikTok. I thinkit's like at the Amanda Merit. She
has a great series where she hasbeen talking about this in extensiveness, like

(34:44):
answering questions and whatnot. So youcan always go over there, dig more
in with Jean Sladder, with Amandawhatever. But like, this is something
that I am doing daily. Iam doing daily, So that's something I
want to expand and step more into. I want to be open to how
travel may look different for us.Like I really it's really important for me
to not get stuck in the sameroutines and the same patterns. Let's again

(35:07):
this applies to life, not getstuck in the same routines from patterns,
because I feel like as we getin these routines and patterns, there's a
sense of comfort, and with comfort, you may be less willing to make
changes or step into things that willexpand and grow you. And then I
am open to being even more inthe flow, being okay with being in

(35:29):
the unknown. I'm sick of playingit safe in so many ways with the
way that we travel and like wantingto control aspects. And I really want
to open up even more to lettingthe universe surprise me, surprise me universe
like I want to experience more magicbecause I don't know what I don't know,
and I am open to this pathunvoting and leading me the way to
go. And like I mentioned before, finding new things to do. Having

(35:52):
a senior dog go on the roadhas us maybe looking at things differently.
Where can we maybe take him fora short park in the walk and go
as family, or you know,how can we have like shorter excursions to
come back, you know, closerfor him, or you know, finding
a yard for him, even ifit means us staying a little more in
the country, and then he's gotthat experience. I don't know, I'm

(36:13):
open, let's see what happens.Oh, that was a lot. I
don't even have a timer on this, but I feel like it's been a
hot minute since I started, andI have shared so many things. Jay
and I are going to be doingan episode about this on the Holistic Life
Podcast. I'm sure there will besome repeat but there will always be new
perspectives. You'll hear Jay's perspective andwhatever else comes up. I'm gonna dig
