out ones and it is actually aterminology that is used for to identify the
church. But we usually use thatterm meaning like it's like a gathering or
a congregation in some sort, insome sense. And like I said,
the New Testament Church, we areknown as the ecclesia. But I went

and took it a step further.So it should have been two separate And
then also when I listened to it, y'all, it should have been two
separate entities. But when I listenedto it, I forgot to. I
forgot the evangelists for the four foldministry, the pastor, teacher, the
apostle, the prophet, and theevangelist. How could I forget y'all?

him in the MCA to impact otherhis other colleagues, like he just led
the way it was. It's beenamazing journey, stressful journey as well,

about quite a few things, butGod is using you in an awesome majestic

You know. Part of the majestyof God is the description of his greatness,
his goodness, his strength, andhis beauty. So talk about how
He's using you in so many Imean, in multiple endeavors, y'all.
Just just jump in whenever you're ready, like you're getting you nominated for an

award. Just like every every dayI'm looking on Facebook and I'm like,
I know, this year hasn't beenright. This year has started with the
bang best Lord wonderful. Yeah,yes, yes, yes, well yes,
yesterday I was nominated and won thePhenomenal Woman Award. It was thirty

eight of us total that received theaward for different things that we did in
and in business on our communities.And she said that sometimes we're not really
recognized, but they see us,you know what we're doing. So that
was Nadia and it's my sister's keeper, so she's the one that gave the
award and then she gives back toother organizations and things like that. So

it was wonderful, but it feltgood because I'm really getting celebrated. I'm
like, Okay, I gotta getused to this, but it's good.
Yeah. Yeah, that's one check. That's one that's one check. Yes,
yes, yes, yes. BecauseI'm used to supporting and celebrating everybody
else. So now it seems likeI'm reaping what I've what I've sold,

so like I'm reaping it now.Oh my gosh. Ever since i've known
you, you've been like that womanwho's just there, like holding up the
arms of leaders and and God.I'm just looking to see how God,
in his his great mighty faithfulness andpower is just Now it's like recompense,

right word recommends, But you're gettingreal. He's like, it's like he
doesn't he doesn't miss the details.You know, he don't miss the details.
Even sometimes when you think he's notpaying attention, you're like, man,
but he sees everything. He seesthe hours, the time span,
the things that maybe other people doesn'tsee. And whatever is done in secret
is rewarded openly. Go ahead andtell us what else you being nominated for.

I know that two more things comingup, and actually started back in
December. And one of the women, even so I went to they had
surprised me and they owned me there. I was surprised, so, you
know, but she mentioned it howshe's a pastor now, her and her
husband back then she was you know, the first lady, and I had
invited her to my tenth year Women'sMinistry that was a couple of years ago,

and I had her speak, Butat that time, I didn't know
that that was her first time actuallyspeaking. And now she's a she now
she's a pastor, you know,so she always remember how I gave her
the start. That seemed like becauseI was the only one that invited her
to actually speak back then before shehad a title, you know, but
that's how she made reference to it. But just different things. You No,

God just showed me people. I'llpray to ask God, what do
you want me to do? Whoyou want me to use? Who you
want me to call? And alot of times he will have me call
those people. And it's not necessarilyeverybody who has a title or who's known,
but it's who He has instilled inthem. You know. It's a
lot of noisy people out here thatyou may not never hear, may not
be on TV, may not beon the radio, but they are powerful

in the kingdom. Amen, Iwanted to read. Amen, I wanted
to just read the scripture because itblessed me, and I believe Yes wanted
me to share it. Tonight,and it's coming from Romans nine seventeen says
for Scripture says to pharer, Iraised you up for this very purpose,
that I might display my power inyou, and that my name might be

proclaimed in all the earth. Yes, yes, that's right. It's all
about God and what we're doing andbrings glory back to Him. Yes,
amen, And his one does hiswonderful works, you know. Yeah,
what the power that is invested orin dwelling within us is not but it's

his power. And sometimes when Ilook at you, you know, I
think, well, how as you'redoing all of this, it's not your
own power. I believe that youtap into the greater power. You're you're
allowing the power that is inside ofyou to to rain, to rule and

rain, you know, and you'reoperating in that anointing. It's really called
the anointing that empowers, that enablesus to do the greater works. It's
the greater works you you shall do. Right. Yes, that's right.
That's the word power and right.So we thank God. I honored you,

woman of God. You're also beingnominated for you were you were an
author's ball. We'll talk about thatas well. For your Oh yes,
yes, that's gonna be March.Well, actually in February, I have
gonna be honored. It's that youmake a Difference awards, So me and
five others here in Baltimore would begetting that honored, getting that award for

that. So I'll tell you like, it's like each month praise God and
I'm getting recognized. That's February twentyfourth, and then it'll be in Townsend.
And then March the twenty third isthe Author's Ball. I'm being the
word there and that would be ind C, Washing d C. M

Wow, I'm on the roll.Yeah, yeah, you know that.
That's that's such a great thing.You know, really what's happening is that
what I see is you know,supporting each other as as as people of

God. I mean, you know, we have to support each other,
we have to encourage each other becauseyou know, many many don't want to
they don't even want to look atus, so they or they they're ready
to shun us. And it's justa wonderful thing to see God move through
the masters who know and who arefaithful and dedicated to Him. Because when

when you know when if when you'reat the helm when you're when you know
that God is at the helm andhe moves through you, what more can
we do accept recognize God through otherpeople, you know. And that's what
That's what happened. And speaking ofEcclesia, that's what happened in the day

(16:00):
of Pentecost. Everybody. The Godjust showed out to people and three thousand
people got saved that day and everybodywas given and and and receiving from each
other, you know, honoring eachother because of God, you know,
you know. And so if wecan just get back there, you know,

(16:22):
uh in in in in the church, between the four walls of the
church, because the things that you'redoing is going outside of your church and
going to do other things. That'sside we need to. I want it
to be a big move. Iwant to move within the church like that,
within the you know, give itto the church hurt, you know,

(16:45):
and start lifting lifting. Let thehave the leaders start lifting the congregants
up right, you know, havethe have the congregants, congregants lifting up
the the maintenance workers in Christ givingthem, you know, because because when

(17:07):
you honor people, your honor God, you know, within Christ, you
know, you're not bragging on them, but you're bragging on on Christ.
Yes, that's what we need toget. That's what that's where we need
to get that and that would showthe body strong to anybody who is not
in the body and make and thatwould make them one to come into the

body. And we're showing the strong. What's the word I'm looking for the
familyhood? I want to say brotherhood, but a strong brother sisterhood and unity,
the unity unity? Yes, amen, amen, apologies tandem. No,
that's the way I understand because that'swhat you're passionate about, and that's

what we need. We need thatmove of God like that, you know,
So draw that way to draw thepeople in and not repel them to
make them go back out, youknow. And that's the question I'll be
asking. I'm like, you're leadingthem or we you know, if people
are following us, where we leadingthem too? You know, we all

have people following us in our community, our jobs, schools, wherever we
at. But where are we leadingthem to? They're watching us, they're
listening to what we're saying and howwe react, so they don't see a
difference. They're like, well,say with the point, you know,
if you're going to do the actthe same way I am. And I'm
not in the church. I'm notprofessing to be serving the Lord. But

you are. You still doing thesame things that I'm doing. So it's
different. You know, where's thedifference, right man? Right man?
Yeah? We definitely I think injust twenty first century do we defined for
leadership right the meaning of what itmeans to be a true leader? You

(18:57):
know of reading this book and theMan of God says that leadership uh serves
to attract your your not so muchthose that follow you, but your gift,
you know, gift is attracted attractsthe people. Not you're not looking

(19:18):
for the followers, followers is yourgift is what attracts the follower. Leaders
don't look for followers, They justflock to the gift. Yeah, that's
it. Our perspective has to haveto change, you know, getting the
gifts, serving like you just servelike you have a lot of gifts and
you just you know, you know, yes, your your leadership should be

(19:41):
seen. You're you're saying yes towhen people ask you to do something,
it doesn't matter how small the jobis, and you say yes, you
gift of half the hospitality, whateverit is, and through that servant could
servant leadership. God uses uses thatpathway as to funnel. I believe the

blessing. Yes, servant leadership.Well, I am making It's been out
there for a while, but I'vejust you know, my mind has been
being renewed to this, this newit's not a new idea, but just

(20:25):
us revisiting what true leadership looks like, because like you said, we need
the young people. I always thinkabout the youth. They need to see
something authentic. Yes, and weneed to be that. That's all that
I'm trying to Yes, and theycan tell the difference too. Yes,
a man talk to us about youryou just you gave birth spiritual birth to

your ministry woman, a woman internationalministries. Can you talk this a little
bit more about the vision of that. Yes, yes, my first in
two thousand and eight. It's forwomen that's in ministry, in business,
or women married to men in ministryand business, all areas. So it's

really supporting a networking you know,and as leaders or as pastors or first
or first ladies or pastor wives,you cannot you have to be careful who
you share things with, you know, and that's really anybody. But you
need to support system. You know, someone that's really going to be there

(21:32):
for you, help you, seeit, Pray for you, you know,
not pr e y, but praypr a y you know, because
you got people that will call youand go what you need, okay,
I'll help you. And they reallytheir motives and attitudes aren't right, you
know, they just trying to getthe information that they don't really they're not
really praying for you like that,they're not really taking it to heart.

(21:52):
Mm hmmmm. So you wanted tocreate an organization that was a safe space
as well? Yes? And yes? And when okay, yes? And
when guy he gave me that atthe time, or well, I didn't
know he was going to give methat ministry because I, like I said,
I was running. I didn't seemyself as hitting up a women's ministry.

(22:18):
But he had me trained. Hehad me reading Esther. I had
to read Deborah and Ruth and soI said, okay, I've read it
and I'm done. And God waslike, no, study it, like
you're going to get a test oneach chapter. So I said, okay,
all right, So I went backand study. So after I did

(22:41):
all of that. Then he toldme with the next step wise which was
biry Thing, the woman at thewoman at the National Ministries. So he
gave me step by stepway night tohave the prayer because we just meet basically
on Tuesdays for prayer at nine tothirty pm. So we do that,
you know, on the phone.And but it's just basically some people you

(23:02):
know, come and share their issues, they got, they sending their prayer,
require store, sometimes just being aroundothers, you know, just uplifting
one another. And that's what wedo. You know, sometimes they get
on, sometimes people don't, butwe're just we're there, you know.
And then also whatever events or whateveryou might be going on. We support
admission trips. We support them andyou know, pray for them while they're

gone and toil they returned back home, so things like that. It's more
of a support and the safe havenyou know, let them know, whatever
they share, it stays right there. You know, it's a safe haven.
Amen. Amen. So where canif a woman is listening and they
you know, this resonates in theirspirit and they're saying, you know,

hey, I want to connect withthis woman to women in the National Ministries,
how can they get in contact?How can they connects? The best

to suffer alone. You don't haveto feel isolated. There are others who
can relate. There are groups youcan be a part of. Organizations and

I think that's definitely something that's neededman. And so in addition to
this ministry that's serving women, youalso, I think we had touched on

it briefly. But you're you're aworshiper and you have our you know,
you dance and you have artistic abilitiesand so you also you are the owner
and executive director of Annointed to Danceand Expression Drama company. Right and I
don't even know that about this companynow, Okay, Yeah, Well,

(25:23):
we were offering the well before thepandemic and we still do offer classes,
but it's online right now. Butbefore the pandemic, we was offering the
dance and drama classes and at theend of the year we put it on
a full fledged production, so thedinner theater. So the students that were
in the dance classes danced in theplay. The students that was learning the
drama was in the you know,the play that at the end of the

(25:45):
year and we had a dinner inthe din the theater. So but a
lot of the times the plays thatwe select is actually have been books that
people have written and they turned itinto a play. M hm. So
the first one we did was haveFaith in God, Okay, And that
was a book about the Marsha Campbelland the Michigan at the time. And

(26:08):
when I read her book, Iwas like, this needs to be a
play. I see a play.And when I called and told her that,
and she called me right back andshe said, yes, I've been
waiting for somebody to want to putit into a play. I said,
oh, okay. She said,so that's got to be God, because
I've been waiting for somebody. Andhe said He's going to send me someone
and and that's what we did.She send it right into the play and

(26:30):
we did. It was her wholestory to where she's at now. You
know, she's been through a lotof things in her life, so it
was like a testimony, but she'sbeen through but she did show how God
got her through all of that andto now where she owned her own company.
So we did that. Then wedid another I'm Gonna Play that was
about Baltimore at Denise Mentor Road andyou know, so it's last year.

(26:56):
Actually lest year we did. Wedidn't because of the pending. I mean,
we really didn't re started like that. We've just been offering the classes
online. Oh I see, Isee, I see it guys. So
we've just been doing like the danceclasses and some of the youth wanted to
learn about the drama. So we'vebeen doing that online. But we haven't
met back in person to do afull fledged Denti theater yet. So we're

(27:18):
looking at that, you know,next year for twenty twenty five, but
we would like to get back intoyou know, in person again. Right,
right, is something what can youjust share more about the age limit?
You know, this is like sixteento adult or it's more for the
youth or you have different groups.Well for the youth, but we had
different groups okay, so we hada seven year old and up. Okay,

okay, because some people just wantedto do the learn the dance,
you know what I mean. Theydidn't want to part of the place.
So some people just want to beonly in the dance or learning the dance.
Different types of dance dance, yes, homeeolturgical dance. Then we all
different types of dances. I haddifferent other teachers that came in sometimes and
taught. So we had a turgicalthat was our main focus. That we

had modern dance, We did alittle ballet, We did different things.
Because it just wasn't for people whowas already saved and walking with God.
We did more of us an outreachso of those who wasn't even saved and
know anything about Lord can still comeinto the dance and through that you would
get to see and see our relationshipwith the Lord and want to be part
of God's kingdom. M M.Nice. So we had some youth that

(28:34):
came and you know, some parentswere like, oh I need my kids,
they want to dance and put themin something. So they was coming
and they were seeing you know,we talked about the Lord and things like
that, and you know some guysaved through the program raised Jesus. So
that's what it's a problem. Yeah. I wanted to make a difference and
tell you know, these different people'sstories and things like that, something selective

(28:57):
for whose books were the theme ofthe play is. I'm selective because I
want to make sure it's representing Godand you know what need to be represented,
you know the outcome. So butyou are accepting submissions, You are
accepting submission. Yeah, okay,okay, all right, Well let the

people know where they can. Ifthey have a book that they think is
that they would want to quit,I should say that is uh well what
would you say, Well you goahead and pitch it. Well yeah,
if they have a book that theywould like to see and they're like,
they have a book that they wouldlike to see on stage as a skit

a play, then yes we can. We can do that. We can
talk it out. Wow. Okay, you heard it. You heard it
right from the horse's mouth. Listen, we're doing big things. Twenty twenty

does your husband coming all of this? Like I you know, literally when
I when I when I met mywife from the beginning, all the things
that my wife was doing. Mymy God just said support herportant, you

know, So where is your husbandat and all of this? If he
does he's yes, you're fine.He's a great supporter. And we did
the production company, the dance anddrama. He's part of that because he's
a chef, so he would dothe cooking, he would handle that catering
part of it. Okay, okay, okay, yeah, the floor with
that. But he is he's agreat supporter. He's right there with me.

Whatever I need, he's there,okay. Okay. So so like
right, yeah, that that thatthat's what I mean, because you know,
you're you're doing a lot. Howyou know, Like, how does
he do? Like when you getthe type from God, is he like,
Okay, come on, let's doit? Or is it? Or

is it that sometimes he gets theidea and he gets it to you and
then you do it? How doesthat work? Mostly I'll get the idea
and then I'll you know, giveit to him and see what he says,
and he'll go okay. Then sometimeshe'd be like no, I'm like
what you don't see what? Youknow? Right? Right? We do

so I can forth at each other. But majority of times he's like,
yes, let's do it. Youcan do it this way, you can
do that, and he does.He really do support. And even sometimes
when I get engagements to go youknow of the places, I'd be like,
babies it okay, you know,I got an invite to go so
on and so go to Michigan andgo different ones. And then sometimes he'll

say yes. And that was alearning thing for me too, because then
when he said no, I waslike, well, you mean no,
you know, so then I hadto go back go okay, lord,
you know, he's my husband suppledto submit. What are you saying?
Is something that I don't see becauseI'm just thinking about, oh yeah,
let me go, sir, letme go help, And he could see
something more than what I see.So I had to go back and ask

the Lord, okay, you know, not for me to be in my
flesh, but when he's telling methat, to really listen, because God
can speak to him too, youknow, because he's our covering, he's
my covering. Yeah. Do youknow, I'm so glad that you said
that. I mean that you havebecause you know, sometimes it's the same

way with us. My wife hasone hundred and one different gazillion ideas okay,
and and sometimes I gotta do justthat. I gotta be like nah,
and then other times I'm like hmmokay, yeah, yeah. And
so it's good to know. It'sgood to know that that that that you

know that that's something that married couplesgo through, you know. Okay,
amen, But the main thing isagreement. You all agree, That's what
I heard thinking about anything that youdo, which is very important when your
marriages. You want to make surethat the two of you are in agreement.
And that's one thing one of uswe spoke about. We said,

if we're not, if one personhas a conviction about something or believes they
should do something, but then theother person doesn't. We just don't do
it because we're not in agreement.Strive to eliminated and unless until God shows

because I heard God say, andthen she'll come to me and talk about
what I heard God say. Sometimesshe'll bring something to me or he bring
something to her, and she'll finishit even before I can. You know

Y want you want peace and serenityand agreement in your home life because
once you're going out and I lovewhat you say, your husband's are covering
that. You acknowledge that. Becausewhen you're going outside and you're moving in
the gifts that God has given youdoing things for God, there's going to
be natural pushback, lash back,right, and so once you know that's

one area of it. But onceyou know that your foundation is secure,
your marriage, all of that,it's a lot easier to it's a lot
easier to thwart what the opposition thatcomes when you're when you're moving and doing
things for God. If that makessense, when you have that peace and

you have that your your team,you're your spouse with you on one accord,
does that make sense rather than notin agreement doing things outside of the
will of God. There's no grace, there's no honor on it, and
then you also receiving spiritual lashback fromwhatever else that you're doing. That's same.
Applignment is very important. It's veryimportant. Authority, being under authority

(35:37):
is very important whatever it is thatwe're doing, and sometimes we don't talk
about that ask we have it either. Mm hmm, yeah, yeah,
yeah, that's true. That's likeI said, So once my husband say
okay, yes, then I gogive it to my bishop, you know,
and then he's a president, I'mgood to go. So I love.
So you're a woman under authority andunder authority we you know, God

places that in our in your spouse, and then you have spiritual authority the
pastor and so on and so on. So I think that's very important for
you to share as well. Youknow, that's important. Divine alignment,
right, Yes, it is,that's right, the aliment. Yes,
and what is that, uh,the spiritual authority, the alignment of spiritual

authority, what do you call it? Versus Jesus then the husband and the
God first? What do you callthat? Biblical order? Right? The
order? Yeah? And that that'sgood, that so so so to the

uh to the listeners, as youcan see and hear other. Gene is
a powerful woman, and especially whenshe gets in the prayer, very prophetic,
very I didn't let you in business, but you knew and and got

a man and then and still shesubmits to the spiritual order. You see.
So uh, for for for forfor for for for the woman of
God and for the Man of God. There's there there there is nothing wrong
with submission. That there was nothingwrong with it. When when when you
when you give everything over to Christ, as long as you know that Christ

is at the head the women,you can believe your Man of God,
your your your your husband, uh, because he's he's he should be following
Christ. And then so and andand then and then to the husband,
to to to to the man who'slooking to get married. Make sure that
you're following Christ, because that womanwill follow you. And that that that

woman is a she is a Sheis your offshoe, she is your rib
so she is your al. Whatshe is and what she becomes is a
product of what you've you've given.It's a product of who, who you
who, how you lead and whoyou let lead you. And then so

if you follow the wrong path,if you're following the wrong things, if
you're not in the world of God, then what do you think your wife
is going to do? And man, so you have a very tall order,
you have a very tall or youhave a very tall responsibility if you
plan on getting married and to theto the man of God that is married.
If you didn't know, you needto, you need to follow crisis

and your own will, don't doit anymore because it's the reflection is going
to be writing your wife. Youknow you don't want that, you don't
want that, and that marriage isgoing to it's going to be tough.
So so I'm not not not toscare anybody, but I encourage you.
I encourage you all. If you'relooking for marriage, if it's going downhill,

cast all your burdens, all yourconcerns, all your pride, all
your ego onto Christ. You canmake so much better with you. But

of God who was embarking on ajourney either as a married couple or wanting
to get married and instilling, uh, the idea of the William ventions,
the new ideas that God has givenAnd what can you tell them to keep
them on the path that God hasthem going on? Okay, well,

if they're you tell somebody if they'remarried or look them to get married?
Yeah, married or looking to getmarried? Okay. So the thing on
that path, which I know timesis hard, but you just have to
ask God to give you the strengthbecause he knows what he has for you,

he knows who He is preparing foryou. And then it will connect
and it may not come the sameway that you think. It may not
even come from the person that you'vebeen looking at, or may not even
come from the person you've been dating. It may be somebody totally different,
and God can show you that likeit didn't me. He can show you
that, and you just got tobe open to knowing that it's God and
then follow what God is telling you. Because the things that you may have

asked God for or pray for,it could be in another person, but
He's preparing that person for it.Those same things that you asked for,
those same things that you may putdown on that list, because some of
us had a list. Some peoplewrote a list and then writing a list
or what they want and how theywant them to look, or some men
and saying what they want for thewomen to look. So if you've even

God for that, and you've beenpraying for the mace, different people been
doing calls and saying, you know, say what you want, be specific
what you want. If you've beendoing all that and you've been praying for
all that, then you got toknow that God is going to send it
to you. So again, itmay not come from who you think or
who you've been hanging out with.It make up a whole different area you
may not even know why you haveto go over to the so and so's

(41:42):
area that day, on that particularday to meet that person. I know
so many people who have met peoplewhat they say is by accident, but
it was God ordained it. Shesaid she made a wrong turn. God
told her to pull up and goingto the coffee shop and that's where her
husband was. Wow, And theymet from that and they just connected.

But they connected in business. She'sa business, he's a business, and
they end up getting a business together. So God would line you up according
to what he has for you andwhere you're going. He's just not going
to connect you just to anybody,because whoever connects you to has to understand
your annoting and have to be ableto float with you and not hinder you
what God is trying to do inyour life. M mm hmmm. Because

if you talking about being obedient andbeing submissive, if you lined up with
someone who's not for God, it'snot lying to need you to God,
then it's gonna take you off ofGod's path facts, and that's where you
break down the communication. That's whenyou break down the trust, because then
you're like, I'm not I'm gonnatrust him I'm gonna go talk to somebody
else, and then you won't trustyour spouse with important things. Wow.
